Help Mladenka's fight for life

We would like to share the good news about the collection. During the past 12 days we have been running collections on GoFundMe.com globally but also kept other channels such as direct bank deposit, PayPal collection, box collection in different offices and Facebook campaign. When we started the collection we had the cost estimation of 50 000€ for the treatment. We set this target by 15th of August to fit the treatment timetable.
The target seemed high, but we believed that it could be reached. But what happened has been beyond Mladenka’s wildest dreams. More than 10 000 people are aware of her fight for life. 1000’s of people have send her messages that with her words have given her and her family so much power to continue the fight. She will have her next operation next week and right after the recovery period in the first possible moment) the future exams shall be done to detailed plan her future treatment. But she has send her thanks to all people around the world who have shared their care and love with her.
We have reached the target of 50 000€ on Tuesday night 7th of August. It is amazing result that shows the power of people cross the World. We cannot count from how many countries people have donated but it is more than 1000 individuals and covered all six continents (except Antarctica ). But also, companies have supported her case. Donations have been made not only from her company, but also from the company corporate clients and amazingly even from competition companies from the market. Talk about the power of crowd funding. The team behind this collection is feeling amazed and thankful. We feel that that this proves how people care with no boundaries.
Cancer and it’s treatment can be unpredictable so we have decided to continue the fundraising beyond the original date of 15.8. to give people still a chance to support Mladenka and her family. Any possible leftover will be donated to colonnal cancer research.
From the bottom of our hearts the team would like to thank all the people for helping to reach this milestone. The battle is not over, but we think that jointly we have reached something unique that hopefully has changed the life of Mladenka and her family. We will share updates on her behalf during the coming weeks. Thank you once more!

Original campaign story:
Mladenka comes from Bulgaria and she is facing the ultimate challenge - she's fighting colon cancer, that has spread metastasis in her liver and lungs.
She went through her first surgery 3 weeks ago (end of June, 2018) and got the colon cancer removed, but needs to start treating the liver and lungs immediately.
To be able to start doing that and get a chance at winning this ultimate battle, so that she could continue on raising her 4-years old daughter, she would need to raise ca. 50 kEUR by latest 15.08.2018.
These money will be used for the following medical procedures executed abroad (Turkey / EU), as follows:
- radiation therapy: ca. 16'500 EUR
- chemotherapy: ca. 8'000 EUR
- additional medical examinations: ca. 5'000 EUR
- hospitalization, specialized transportation, anesthetic, medicines, additional surgery fees and other hospital expenses: ca. 20'000 EUR
Situation is extremely critical and all our prompt contributions, could really make the difference for our friend & colleague!
