Anais Anais Premier Delice by Cacharel is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. Anais Anais Premier Delice was launched in 2014. Anais Anais Premier Delice was created by Olivier Cresp and Dora Baghriche. Top notes are Pear, Orange, Bergamot and Galbanum; middle notes are Peony and Hyacinth; base notes are Cacao and Cedar.

One of the most successful new versions of 2014 is presented in April 4. This is the latest fragrance of the house of Cacharel, which succeeds one of the classics of the house and perfumery in general – legendary edition from 1978, fragrance Anais Anais which gave us a treat with an opulent blend of lily, hyacinth, lily of the valley, orange blossom, jasmine…

ANAIS ANAIS PREMIER DELICE is not the first successor of this popular edition, but is arriving after Anais Anais Eau Legere from 2006 and Anais Anais Flower Edition from 2007. Unlike them, the new fragrance is turning curse to delicate gourmand shades, while highlighting cocoa in the composition. The fragrance is announced as symbol of love and passion!

Top notes of the new edition and luminous and citrusy. Fresh and sparkling notes of bergamot and orange are supported by lemonish galbanum. Green pear zests contribute to juicier but not to sweeter opening. The heart of the composition does not move away from its older sister and offer a romantic spring bouquet full of freshness with a floral choir of hyacinth and peony. Soft gourmand cocoa trail remains in the base along with precious woody shades of cedar. The fragrance is signed by perfumer of the house of Firmenich - Olivier Cresp and Dora Baghriche.

Flacon of the new fragrance Anais Anais Premier Delice is made of glass and illustration on the tag and outer carton reminds us irresistibly of the design of previous editions. Color of liquid is pale pink. The perfume arrives as 30ml and 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

Moldy

Lovely perfume, quite sweet, but doesn't last on my skin more than 2 hours. Also, packaging looks kind of cheap.

whisperology

My Olivier Cresp fangirling continues.

Sweet, juicy, fresh pear that lasts. Cocoa warms and rounds this. Not too sweet nor too tart. I do pick up the 'canned pears in syrup' vibe but it still remains firmly in fruity floral territory, not a gourmand to me.

A fragrance I can wear while sick and not get a headache is a win for me - this is one of them.

Loliky

Huele dulce bonito, pero dura muy poco.
No lo volveré a comprar.

dglightblue

I had sprayed others the day I tired this one. It was a bit simple, nothing was me skin.. better on a card..
It's fruit in a fresh way, there's there's rounded animalinc feel underneath the fresh fruity vibe.. a faint chalky clean layer, the pear in this is like the canned variety, boting through a chunk. Not syrupy, not candy sweet.

Clean but dirty, then not dirty. No obvious cacao.. could be the very bitter sort waaay in the background. Not like the sort in Hugo boss anyway

AquaJima

I don’t know what is up with my nose and this perfume.
The first time I tried it, I sprayed on a piece of paper. All I was able to smell was soy sauce + sushi.
Tried again months later on my skin. It was now something sweet but I was unable to define what it was. 4 hours later it had turned into a delicious sweet chocolate smell that made me very happy.
I now want a small bottle but I am aware I need to smell/experiment more before getting one :)

This scent to me is extremely synthetic and not very appealing. I purchased it for the pear and cacao combination, as I hoped this combo would create a very sweet yet soft gourmand fragrance. To me upon first spray, it smells extremely chemical. Thank goodness I only got a travel spray and not blindly purchased a new bottle. I put it on as i’m writing this review after the shower for bedtime, because I want to finish it to toss it. It isn’t cozy enough for bed, and if it worked for me I would’ve worn it during the day. What I smell most is pear with the hyacinth and peony, which in combination takes away the juiciness of the pear and makes it overall very sharp. I’m hoping the drydown softens up and gets sweeter, because so far I think if it stays this way, it may bring forth a headache. Maybe it’s because I oversprayed, but it seems like a very consistent scent for the time being. Although I do think it will die down in an hour or two by a lot. So obviously to sum it up, definitely not my favorite. For the people comparing it to Givenchy’s Irresistible, I WISH it smelled similar to that because I own and love that fragrance because it is gorgeous!

ljsmith

Juicy, sugary pear, but that cacao note adds a touch of bitterness that keeps it from being tooth-achingly sweet. To me it almost reads as a black tea note and feels like sipping a sweet iced tea, making it an excellent choice for summer.

amanda-m-lewis

This scent is all about the pear 🍐 for me..And having not worn this for several years, I am enjoying revisiting it for that reason alone.

Now that the bottle has aged, I do get the cocoa note much more and it just balance out the sweetness nicely, as this is very sweet, girlish and ultra feminine perfume, which is nice if that's the kind of mood you are in. Also I do get a very faint nod to the O.G, although many people say that they don't, and I suspect its because of the sweetness, but I definitely do..

Genevieve Gwendolyn

I got this along with some other perfumes much more expensive and I must admit this one was a hit for me .the opening is so beautiful with that sweet pear .The pear note is the strongest in this perfume so if you enjoy pear in fragrances you should give this a chance .The longevity is good especially considering it price .Moderate silage .In my opinion a blind buy and beginner friendly perfume .I have not tried out irresistible by Givenchy to which this get compared and cant wait to try that too.

ivaa36

Disturbingly sweet. Hate it. Only thing I get is pear in chocolate cocoa syrup.

Amethystery

Smells a lot like pear beverage from my region's local juicery, along with some kind of dark chocolate treat in the background. This is pear done right! Not like an overly sweet pear syrup, more like a crisp and tart Asian pear. The peony and citrus notes definitely elevate this fragrance; it really feels like every single note is intentionally added to serve a purpose here. Premier Délice is hard to dislike!

gourmand_girlie

This is a pear sorbet, but not how I expected - it's not a pear nectar or pear juice, like what you typically smell in perfumes. This is the whole pear - like biting into the skin of a pear you just pulled off of a tree.

It's refreshing and unique, but the pear note is quite sharp and slightly bitter. This balances out the sweetness of the base, but it almost makes my mouth pucker a little.

I prefer BBW's Pear Creme Brulee over this.

yzmo91

This is a hidden gem! Well blended sweet pear sorbet and sprinkled cocoa. Suitable for younger teens and anyone who likes sweet scents. It doesn't become cloying and gives you that pleasant whiffs throughout the day. Starts off sweet gourmand, dries down to sweet floral. For their quality, Cacharel have good pricing.

Just received my 100ml bottle in the mail today and it’s in the white bottle. Purchased from reputable perfume site. It didn’t matter to me the color of the bottle, I would prefer clear bottle so I can see the pink juice, but that’s okay because this stuff smells amazing!!! I’m prob too old to wear this, but it is soooo pretty! I’m going to wear this starting now and maybe thru summer! Don’t know how the performance is yet, but it doesn’t matter either, I will reapply often if I have too because again this is just so lovely!

cemeteryfairy

To the reviewers below, premier delice is housed in both a porcelain white bottle and a clear bottle. I’ve tried both and they are the same. The milky white bottle comes in a gift set with a lotion and a 1 oz perfume, and all the single bottles I’ve seen are in the clear bottles. I think they’re phasing out the clear bottles for the milky white ones.

VMonster

LukeW, the bottle should be clear for AA PD.

Revisiting this lovely I bought a year ago, wore mostly in spring. Canned pears in syrup, bitter green galbanum, floaty peony & hyacinth, dusting of cocoa. This just somehow works. Luminous & playful.

Laoire

This is a lovely pear sorbet fragrance! Very similar to Escada's Fairy Love in the the red heart bottle only stronger. It is a wonderful spring/summer fragrance. I think anyone of any age can wear this frangrance.

Erinlu

I adore this scent. It is fresh, sweet and delicate. I bought a small bottle but now I want a big set. If they had a little more longevity and sillage it would be my favorite perfume. 💖

JamieSmells

I have not worn it more than once, because I just received it for Christmas. Its very fresh and fruity smelling to me, I cannot pick up the chocolate or cedar note in it. I like it and plan to wear it more for summer, I see a young woman-teen wearing this, but I still like it and I'm 41.

kbethel20

I don't pick up on any gourmand accords. This is one of few perfumes that is too perfumery for me. It is very floral and sweet but not in an edible sense. The only other perfume I thought was too "perfumery" was Avon perfumes.

It's a powdery, floral reminiscent of air freshener.

It lasts a very long time on wool. 6 hours and counting.

Francilicious

Yumixoxo<♡

This perfume is very fresh but sweet type of fresh it gives me juicy pear with peony and the dry down just melts me it's sweet and powdery just like a rose I can't describe the deliciousness of this perfume in words ♡<3

Phedre1981

This is a very cute, smooth and creamy gourmand. Of all the scents I've tried that seem geared towards young people, I'd actually recommend this most as a gift for someone age 12 or 13 who likes sweets and is starting out with fragrances. There's nothing too challenging (except maybe if you hate cedar) or distinctly mature about it. That being said, I think it's suitable for any age. It's so lighthearted. The pear note is top notch. Much more realistic and pleasant than many others you may have smelled. It gives the impression of peaches and cream even though it has no peach note. I think the cedar gives it an element of fall-spiced-dessert. I can't detect any chocolate smell, but maybe the cacao contributes to the smoothness. Overall, a super pleasant, fairly light, year round fragrance that won't overwhelm and can be found at a great price!

Rajahuss

Beautiful scent. It’s a sparkly pear (pear and peony) mixed with a creamy sorbet. I love it. Beautiful and unique.

cookygirl

I surprised myself by liking this one.
I don't like gourmands at all and appreciate chocolate notes, in particular, even less.
I was drawn to this fragrance however by the bottle which evoked memories of the original Anais Anais - one of my very first fragrances back in pre-history when I was a tween.
I knew full well not to expect a resemblance between these two scents but I couldn't resist seeing for myself.
I also had read favorable reviews and, reading the notes, thought the citrus would contribute some freshness and the galbanum might curb the sweetness of the pear and bring some green to the table. Really, all the notes other than the cacao are notes that I like very much so I decided to give it a try.
At first the pear was overwhelming and I'm one who really likes pear. Someone here mentioned the sweet pear in My Fifth Avenue which I have and love. I do see the resemblance to the pear in that one but here it is so much sweeter.
Thankfully, about half an hour in the pear calms down and I get the florals too. I do smell the cacao as well but it is not too chocolatey. It kind of reminded me of the cacao in Omnia Paraiba.
All in all I like this scent. It's definitely sweeter than what I normally wear but the pear (after the first half hour) is really nice in this and the overall composition is pleasing to my nose.
And yes, it's quite reminiscent of Irresistible Givenchy but better, to my nose, for the absence of the musk.

LadyIva

This is an excellent fragrance that one can buy very cheaply nowadays. Here's a bit of backstory: I own and love Indult Manakara (created by F. Kurkdjian), which is one of the very few fruity scents that I can tolerate. However, Manakara is super strong and requires a special occasion. I've been looking for a cheap edt that could serve as an everyday substitute for Manakara, and - here it is! The strongest note in Anais Anais Premier Delice is peony, paired with sweet pear; however, this pear is much weaker than in, say, Franck Boclet Sugar and it doesn't overwhelm. So, the notes of peony and pear constitute the floral-fruity core of this scent, which is then freshened by citruses and galbanum. I can also smell the notes of cocoa powder and hyacinth, although they're not so prominent. All in all, this is a lovely scent, suitable for any occasion; it is a gourmand for people who normally do not like gourmands, and a floral for those who can't stand florals. Good silage, but staying power could be better.

AMMILLER

I love this. I got if for an absolute steal at tjmaxx because someone had destroyed the outer packaging so it was only $10.

It opens with a sparkling, clean pear -not too sweet. Its sorta powdery in a rice paper way, but I think it's the cacao lending a dry semi-sweet smell. Not chocolaty- I don't particularly like chocolate smell, but sweet rice paper and pear and a hint of chocolate. Absolute LOVE. Love love. Perfect for vacation. Its different then the watermelon bubble gum scents of summer, but not offensively heavy like some winter scents would be.

Just very clean smelling.

Side note, I've smelled Givenchy "Irresistible" in the store several times, and I'd say it's similar but not a dupe. Particularly the opening. I think Irresistible is more floral in its dry down. down. Delice is sweet in its dry down.

10/10 sillage is just right. Performance isn't great though, longevity is the main issue, with me getting 2 hours of shopping done before it was gone.

DariaFrancesca74

Summer fragrance, fresh, fruity: the sweet notes of pear are clear, lively, in harmony with the milder sour citrus notes. The base notes characterized by cocoa, voluptuous, welcoming, pleasantly gourmand. Fruity, pleasant sillage. Good durability.

violeteme

No similarity to the original whatsoever. -

Sade800

This has the same lovely sugary pear note as Elizabeth Arden's 'my fifth avenue.'
I can smell pears and chocolate.
I almost felt like biting my own arm it's so realistic ha ha
It is nice but I'm glad that I only ordered a sample because this is definitely not something I'd wear a lot.
It reminds me of Midnight fantasy

Josesalinas

Bro this is a perfume version of the classic early 00s Victorias Secret pear glacé body spray, I’ve been searching for years for a pear solinote perfume that stays Pear and lasts!! This was is it the whole time!? Lasts 8-10 hrs $30 full size

ShowMustGoOn

I liked the original as a teen. It was nice but too powdery for me now. I wanted a fruity sour note and got this. This is nothing but screechy sharp synthetic pear and some mild musk undertone. Where is the cacao note?

Very uncomfortable and cheap smelling to my nose. And I actually really like the pear note in perfumes. But this one is really synthetic like cheap candy or bathroom spray. I wanted to like this, really did. Another unsuccessful blind buy; hope to return it.

AmberAura

I bought a little bottle of this to try it because I had recently rediscovered the OG and was curious. It is really very lovely. The top opening notes of peach and pear are prominent and pleasing. It is well blended and smooth, which makes it clearly a fine perfume and not something from Body and Bath. I will likely give it to my mom, though because I already have my sweet/fruity favorites. She will love it. It is worth checking out if you are in the market for a floral fruity.

jeannebelmondo

This is genuinely lovely, don't sleep on it if the original is too old-fashioned for you! It's not at all powdery like the original (I like the original too but it's too white floral soapy/powdery for me, and very much of its time!)

Very transparent and dewy. The most ripe, juicy and realistic pear I've ever smelled in a perfume, and the cocoa is light and only a supporting character, but it adds an addictive and slightly more grown up quality to keep it away from generic floral fruity territory.

It's as if you're biting into the most incredibly soft, juicy, almost overripe pear, and the juice is dripping down your skin, but the most faint scent of dark chocolate is somewhere nearby in the room. The citrus and cedar is definitely present too, but it's more to add depth to the pear and peony dominance -- this is first and foremost a sweet and fresh fruity fragrance.

I like it! Not the kind of thing I'd usually go for but it's well made, simple, transparent, effortless, and surprisingly addictive thanks to that touch of dark chocolate and woods. Safe blind buy if you're a pear lover or if you like Anais Anais but found it too old-fashioned for your taste.

Skinscents4Fusspots

I think this one might break my heart thanks to the cedar in the base. I think I might just hate cedar so if you like it you'll be fine, but man..... Cedar in the base is proving to be the kiss of death in so many fragrances I've tried. This is actually the third pear perfume I've tried recently and it's hands down the best, but the more it dries down the sadder it gets to my nose. It loses some of the (frankly amazing!) bright pear note and gets increasingly woody. Don't get me wrong it's not a woody scent overall but the more the cedar sneaks in the more generic it gets. It starts to smell like fairy love by escada and irresistible by givenchy. Both of which dry down in a way that I just can't get on with. I'm going to keep trying with this one though because the pear is EXACTLY tinned pears in syrup. Literally edible and kind of incredible! I really hope I can love with the deep dry down :/

Update! We were having a cold week when I tried this but I'm wearing it today (a warmer and more sunny spring day in London) and I'm frankly ecstatic to say that it has dried down to smell like subtle tinned pears in syrup sprinkled with the finest dusting of good quality, unsweetened cocoa powder (we're talking Green and Black's here, not Bournville!). The cocoa is really coming out in the warmer weather but it's not at all sickly or suffocating.... very much cocoa powder specifically and not chocolate. This is amazing and gourmand on me today! I've already told my Fiancé that I'm going to request a bottle of this as a nice gift sometime because I am absolutely gonna need a full bottle for spring / summer months. He sniffed me and the said he needed to go and have a bath so he could come back smelling as good as me lol! I'm SO HAPPY to have found my perfect pear scent because I was sooooo close with fairy love, but something in that just didn't quite work with my chemistry. Hurrah!

MilaiaFoxe

It’s mainly Pear but it’s not intense or very impactful, neither is Ariana’s “God is A Woman” which I already have. Therefore I will be returning this one. It also starts smelling metallic on me after a while and gives me a headache.

Rozalina

This was an incredible surprise. I snatched this up at a discount store, 80% sure I’d hate it or be bored by it and end up returning it, but my curiosity got the best of me. Well. Sometimes I walk up to this and just smell it from the bottle. It’s that delicious. Juicy pears dusted with cacao, and a fizzy effervescent quality reminiscent of a bubbly glass of champagne. So many of the gourmand scents marketed nowadays have cloying, synthetic notes that this thankfully lacks. I went back to the store to purchase another bottle for my mom. It’s addicting. Lasts a while, too.

Alexia1728

It’s a gorgeous combination of notes, not too floral, not too fruity, just very well blended together. Perfect for any age who loves floral fruity gourmand. Longevity is about 6 hours on me and sillage is moderate. I like to spray more when I can’t smell it on myself any longer. I also own the Anais Anais L’original (which is a big NO for me) and it’s no where closed to this one. I own a collection of perfumes and this one stands out from the crowd.

Anais Anais Premier Delice is like this humble, gorgeous, sporty and confident person who’s not trying hard to impress anyone but somehow others still gets intimidated and jealous with. Complement getter. Safe blind buy. 💯♥️

TheCandyperfumegirl

𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹 is a beautiful gourmand for summer & spring time. The opening is heavy on the Pear note along with the Orange & Cacao. Bergamot & Galbanum are not that noticeable to my nose. The Pear is fresh & juicy. Gradually the delicate florals come to notice along with the Cacao. The Peony & Hyacinth are perfectly balanced with the other notes that's why the fragrance is not too green or not too sweet. To my nose this fragrance is mainly a blending of Pear & Cacao with some delicate Florals. It's nothing like the vintage Anaïs Anaïs. Instead it's a Youthful & Delightful bright fragrance without being too much floral, too much fruity or too much gourmand. All the notes smells really natural.
The Longevity of this Fragrance is another plus point. Usually I get 6-7 hours of longevity from this Fragrance but even after 7 hours the smell is not totally evaporated. So the smell stays on until I wash my clothes. The Projection is not that heavy but it creates a bubble around you and leaves a scent trail for first few hours.
Overall it's a nice option for those who love sweet fragrances and looking for something not too much overpowering for summer/spring.
The fragrance didn't trigger migraine also I get complements from people around me whenever I use this Fragrance.
Only drawback of this Fragrance is some may find the fragrance too youthful & simple for their taste.
In the end all I want to say is Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice by Cacharel is a Beautiful, Youthful, Feminine, Sweet & Delightful Fragrance for women of all age groups. If you're a gourmand lover and looking for a nice Fragrance for summer/ spring which won't be too heavy then go for Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice by Cacharel ❤️

sibaraa

This is just amazing. what a concoction!!
Who new that Hyacinth which is a daring upfront scent will not ruin this chocolaty pear heaven!

AvecPoesie

I first purchased this perfume roughly three years ago, blindly. It was exceptionally difficult to find in my country but my curiosity was strong as my favorite French actress, Roxane Mesquida mentioned in a beauty interview that this was her favorite scent! Her style and taste are so chic, I suspected her fragrance preference would be exceptional, also. I must say, this is a profoundly youthful, flirtatious scent. A pear and cacao dream! Though, it is not listed in the notes, I smell strawberry in this perfume. Abundant strawberry. Glorious in warm weather and moderate longevity. I am on my second bottle! Reminds me a bit of Yves Saint Laurent's Mon Paris, but somewhat lighter.

VMonster

This scent is the embodiment of a pretty young girl in springtime. All the notes are detectable, and they all smell very realistic--not synthetic. Dora Bagriche is interviewed by Fragrantica and she talks about the pear ester used by Firmenich, the company for which she works. Fascinating little read and to learn more about the nose behind the scent! This is a spring gourmand--not candy like or baked goods, but the cocoa powder element is just a dusting of sweetness that sits in the background. The peony and hyacinth are fresh and real but not too overpowering. I'm wearing this as it sleets outside and this scent makes me yearn for the springtime! The bottle is simple and restrained in style, well-designed with its smart little cap. Although its packaging isn't as showy or froufrou as some other offerings, I think it's feminine and pretty enough to have on display. I quite appreciate the simplicity. I'm now eager to explore other offerings from Cacharel!

Vabeachtiff

I get fruity at first, however the dry down explodes into a Bartlett pear with cedar and a light floral behind. This is so light and not a thing like the regular Anais Anais for sure, so I gave it several sprays. This puts me faintly in the mind of old school VS Pear Glacé. Wears a good 4 hours at minimum, can be more with good application.
Update 5/21/2022:
Wore yesterday in 95° weather. Premier Delice beasted through that heat! Hot temps is where this shines best!!! All of the beautiful notes came out to play. That pear stayed fresh and the light powdery sugar was the perfect blend. This has impressed me immensely and has moved up to my favorites. Well done Cacharel. This lasted pretty much my whole day.

LadyPilot

Upon first application I was really disappointed - it got this bitter-sweet found in most cheapest mainstream gourmand perfumes for teenagers - mixture of cocoa, orange and labdanum. But in time the dark cocoa note fades a bit and gives way to bitter orange, l and velvety, aromatic pear. Unfortunately peony and hiacynth are barely there but still in time the perfume becomes softer and softer, more elegant and refined. I'm sniffing it today on a warm but very windy autumn day when lots of colorful leaves are still in the trees, many are dancing around in the wind, bazaars are full of fruit - pears, plums, apples - and somehow this scent beautifully completes the whole autumn day impression:)

sashazor

I hate the original Anais Anais. It smells wayy too powdery and cloying for my taste. I initially tolerared it, but I grew to dislike it over time, so when I saw this on the shelves, I had exceedingly low expectations.

Well... Color me surprised. It's actually quite lovely! I expected it to smell pretty generic, but on my skin, it's beautifully complex and sweet!

To me, the opening is quite pear/orange, not so overpowered by pear. It then slowly dries down into a sweet floral- which consistently has that cacao undertone. I quite like it. It's beautiful for spring/summer, definetly not unisex. I consider it a very young, girly and flirty fragrance.

Longevitiy is a little disappointing. I can't get more than 3/4 hours.

Sillage is fine, about what you expect for a perfume. Not very strong, but people will smell it if they are close enough.

Shana Pekka

It's a pretty ambiguous perfume for me.
My stubborn attempts to befriend the original Anais Anais failed (my mother used to have it when I was little, so it was a nostalgic thing), the lily was too pungent. So I paid attention to the pink bottle, that describes the fragrance perfectly, in my opinion. The first thing that I liked was the design – I still can't throw the box away.
But the even after months the top notes right under the lid make me a little dizzy. Either it's a pear that starts it's all or hyacinth, but the start is too harsh for me, it's too sweet and sour. But after 20 minutes all the notes becomes more tender. Sweet, fruity-lemonade, slightly turning into cacao, that feels nothing like the original Anais Anais. I'm not getting rid of it because of the middle and base notes.
I want to wear Premier Delice in the rainy chilly weather, that reminds me of the warmness inside. It's very cozy, but I guess in the warm weather it'll choke everybody else...
And I sprayed it right before writing this review and looked outside, and it was raining for the first time today. Pure magic ✨

suzycurlyq

Omy goodness! This is absolutely beautiful! Not at all like Anais Anais Original thank the Lord! Ha ha. This is a creamy, sweet, rich, delicious scent! Almost edible! Amazing!

mmiched

Pear, Pear and more Pear! A real fresh ripe juicy pear after dry down! I love this. I also smell the flowers behind the pear. That’s all I get pear and flower on me. It’s a fun, flirty scent in a grown up sort of way. Nothing like the original Anais and that’s ok!

Lixa

I was looking for a pear bomb, but no luck with this. First impression: it's bubble-gummy. Fruity bubble gum, very girly, fun, childish but in the same time grown up.
This is what I was expecting Victoria Secret's infamous body mists to be (and aren't).
I like it, but the poor performance is a deal breaker though.

UnearthlyApothecary

First spray instantly recalled VS Sexy Little Things Noir Tease, which I found absolutely intoxicating but was never willing to buy because the performance was not so great. The pear is also very dominant in that one, but I much prefer Premier Delice. In Noir Tease, the gourmand note is Praline but here, it is a gorgeous dry dusty cocoa powder. I absolutely love it! The bitter green floral notes of galbanum and hyacinth are pretty much non existent. Those are the notes that would make this a sister of the original Anais Anais but they smell nothing alike. There is really no flanker dna present. Perhaps if those green floral notes were more apparent, but nope. Cacharel should have just released this as a stand alone scent instead of a flanker. There is something in there that faintly reminds me of Black Opium as well which I guess is the pear and makes sense considering this is also an Olivier Cresp creation. The silage is great and I get about 5 hours longevity, before I need to refresh. Towards the dry down I actually began to notice some of the galbanum and hyacinth :p

Tessa03

I am not very good at describing scents but I do get some pear on the opening of this. It does turn sweet on me and I believe I do smell the cacao notes once it has settled down. Sweet and to me it smells very unique. I have received quite a few compliments while wearing this. I have 3 back up bottles and this can be found quite cheap online or at duty free. Long lasting. A love for me. Well done !

Matheya

I agree with Nynke 4 comments below: generic fruity smell. I blindly bought it and I should have gone with the original.
It smells mostly like pears and nothing much. Nothing special. I would expect such perfume from Puma or some other sports brand.
Small trace of Cocoa- i thought this note would make it more interesting but it doesn't. Just floral pear- it's nice but I expected more from the brand.

zozo87

Just smelled it this morning. It reminds me a lot of Lacoste Sparkling (the pink one) only a bit less spicy and more fresh.

Anais Anais Premiere Delice is very well balanced. It's a sweet smooth chocolatey scent, which I've smelled somewhere for sure, maybe Armani Code Satin or Good Girl
It does fall into the category of girly girl perfume as I like to call it. The fruit is not too prominent, and the floral dna of the original Anais Anais is still here. Velvety powdery musk is also felt in the drydown. Floral, cacao powder, vanilla cream. Moderately sweet. A more contemporary Anais Anais.
I don't think I need it. I'll stick to the original

EllenaDsk

Today was a sunny day and I was wearing Anais Anais Premier Delice for the first time in a warm weather. I can say that I love how this smells in a days like this. During the winter I could smell sweet and refreshing aroma, but today, I felt like I have a pear cheescake with cocoa sprinkles and a cup of warm coffee in a beautiful flowery garden. I have a 30ml bottle, but sure I will buy it again.

I am not a fan of the original Anais Anais, even though I love Noa, Eden and Scarlett, but this is something that I can wear everyday, during the whole year.

Harpalike

This perfume is very nice and polite, without being flat or boring. It is for day-dreamers only.
The pear is the main character in the composition - it is soft, sweet, juicy and very long lasting. Peony and hyacinth give flower delicateness. These notes are very long lasting and prominent on my skin. The base is galbanum and cedar wood, but very weak and gentle. I cannot smell any cocoa and citrus.

Nynke

I smell mostly pear in the opening, maybe a bit too much pear.
After this it turns quite soft and it's not very noticable, at least on me.
I think I prefer the original, vintage Anais Anais.

muahah

Sweet, floral, warm, unoffensive. First 5 minutes there was citrus in background and bit vintage vibe. Then it turned to more floral bittersweet. There is something silky about in it, like this flower on packaging have bit of silk design. There is something like honey. Most of time this perfume stays same. This perfume doesn't say much to me. It is nice and wearable. It seems simple for everyday and maybe even for office, but also there is sparkle of feminine and joy in it. For younger audience up to 25, thou there always are exceptions. Bit too much sweet for hot summer.

nvenus

EdT (second review):
"Omg, such a pleasant scent!" is what runs through my mind when it's sprayed in front of me, in the air. Sweet (but not too sweet), floral, a bit fresh and beautiful. I think it can be better with some more hyacinth and sweet chocolate and/or ice cream or sorbet added to it.

Definately one of my favourites (although it's far from perfect) and I recommend it to those who enjoy moderate gourmands with a floral twist.

I'll have to smell AA again soon but from memory these don't smell anything even remotely alike, not even in a flanker way! If it weren't for the name you'd never know they are related. This is a fruity fresh delicate sugar bomb on me. And I love it. I only tested quickly abc wasn't expecting much but will to back and buy the FB. ASAP. It smelled like a strawberry sorbet.

nvenus

I loved it! It's very similar to Missoni (2015) but with a stronger pear note. Some pear notes can come through as articifal, too sweet or just not good but that's not the case in this; the pear is very nice.
I'll try it again sometime and hopefully be able to do a more detailed review.

Pure Love

I agree, knotslandinggirl - totally!

It's a very unique and special perfume for me, and I particularly love the galbanum and pear. All the other notes are there too, especially the gorgeous cocoa! and it's lovely and strong, and very long lasting.
Beautiful.

knotslandinggirl

Galbunam, pear, orange, peony, and cocoa powder is beautiful within this perfume,it really is a lovely twist on the original, the longevity and sillage are heavy for an eau de toilette and that is great.

The cocoa is the main star throughout and I love that,I never thought I would have said that 20 years ago but how our noses have changed and the perfumers of this world have created masterpieces of today, just look at black opium,la vie est belle, juicy couture, even poison girl.

This is a true French gourmandise of a perfume.....under rated but dearly loved!! Bravo Cacharel!!

maz7

This is SO GORGEOUS!!! I love Anaïs Anaïs Premier Délice. I am truly delighted with it. I love the cocoa that is there from beginning to end, and all the other notes that come and go. Every note comes and stays strongly for a while, then fades down a bit, but comes back fully again. All day and evening, the beautiful aroma of the citrus, the sweet fruity/floral/wood notes blend in and out of the cocoa. Oh I just love it!!!

It's so long lasting for an edt, and the sillage is really substantial....my husband says mmmm, often, whenever he's within a couple of feet of me. It is a very sweet, pretty, yet with just enough sharpness (to remind me very much of the original Anaïs Anaïs I used to wear in the 70's.) I loved it, but I love this MORE!!!
I think it's a truly wonderful flanker to the original, and the bottle, perfume colour and box are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

I am really enjoying this.

I wore Anais Anais in the 80s and cannot understand why this has been marketed as a flanker as I simply cannot (from memory) smell a connection. They have hyacinth, cedar and galbanum in common - but so do many other fragrances!

Sprayed liberally after a shower last night, I can still smell this on my skin, some 8 hours later, so the longevity is good for an EDT.

It opens with a fizzy fruity explosion; before I checked the notes out, I could have sworn it was peach I could smell. I even checked out the Cacharel website to see whether the notes on here were right, I was so convinced I could smell peaches... The fruitiness remains, but is moderated after 15-30 minutes or so, as the flowers push through. The fruit and flower notes are underpinned by the cacao and cedar, which give an underlying warm spice to the fragrance; this is what I can smell on skin now, some 9 hours after initial spraying. On my pyjamas, the fruit and flowers are dominant, though - I really cannot smell the spice on my clothing.

This is light and refreshing and lovely in summer - although sweet, the bergamot, galbanum and orange help to keep it fresh and not at all cloying. Sillage is initially moderate, reducing to a skin scent by the time I checked this morning: longevity 8 hours+.

This is a like not a love as my taste runs more to big, warm orientals and gourmands - but I am very happy with this purchase, especially at £34GBP for 50ml.

Lissa1991

The cacao spoils everything here for me! I would easily love this perfume if it wasn't for that note, which makes the entire composition feel heavy and sour, popping up right after a lovely beggining of pear + peony. The top notes in this are like a delicious pear sorbet which even reminds me a bit of Guerlain's Acqua Allegoria Pera Granita, then the cacao shows up and spoils the fun. And the dry down is a lot like the original Anais Anais which I don't like. If I can find it I will definitely try the Eau version of this as the caco note disappeared from there so it's probably more pleasant than this one.

blake.lee

This is so amazing! It's like See by Chloe mixed with YSL Babydoll and a heavy dose of chocolate. I can smell a faint remnant of the original Anais Anais in the drydown. This perfume reminds me of the late 90's/early 2000's so much, lol!

Wysteria

Interesting fragrance!

Opens sweet and gourmand but fresh on me. On my skin it quickly dries down to a soft floral with a gourmand accord but on my clothes it stays very sweet.
It's sweet but also fresh and it's gourmand but also floral.

Edit : I changed my like to a love. I have been wearing it quite a few times and this is a very uplifting scent for me. I used to wear viva la juicy a lot when I was a little younger but I've outgrown that one, way too sweet. I think this is a more mature sweet scent.

PerfumeKing14

i really do enjoy this fragrance, upon 1st spray you can smell pear & on me you can smell it throughout, it lasts a good amount of time on clothing but no so long on skin. while its completely different from the original i can sense the original creeping in the backgroun & i like that

Vodka

If you hate Amor Amor and are bored of teenage oriented gourmands, stay away from it.

myram7

I do love that it's a SWEET FRUITY GOURMAND - and i agree it's NOTHING like the original Anais. I really really feel like it's a sister to Fancy by Jessica Simpson! Luckily I love how sickly sweet it is - I'll try layering patchouli underneath and see if that deepens it a bit.

Perfumefreak

Absolutely beautiful. Lovely and so sweet.
Nothing like "la vie est belle".
Soothingly delicious; citrus and caramel well put together.
Longetivety is quite amazing. It stayed on my jacket for several days.
AA PD gives me funny feeling every time i put the jacket on. I love to smell it on me and on my clothes and put it on again and again.
Obviously my new favorite.

Suitable for all ages. Especially for teens, but I'm not giving it to my GodDaughter!!!!! (she usually gets the scents I'm already fed up with)

Rhairis

(Google translator Brasil)

I bought without knowing, and the reviews I read, found it to be sweeter and much more gourmand.
It has nothing to do with the traditional classic Anais.

In the first minute, I identify a juicy pear so realistic, I can feel that green smell of the shell.

Minutes later, a delicate floral scent (peony?) Stands out more than the pear.
The flower is not too sweet, and has a soft, natural smell of a flower.

Soon after, the flower and fruit notes resemble a smell like rubber. Hehehe.

Cocoa note appears from the beginning, but stands out more in the drydown, when the fragrance is sweeter, resembling a pear smell of chocolate.

Is a delightful, well built and very feminine fragrance.

The fragrance has excellent grip. Lasted more than 10 hours on my skin.

He is the brother of "Viva La Juicy" with cocoa instead of caramel.

Here in Brasil, I paid 380, which equals $ 130.

fragranceh

There is something off about the perfume. The first time i sniffed it i smelled many notes at the same time but mostly what i got out of it was rhabarber. It's funny, because i hate the taste & smell of it but i love it on this fragrance!

Stephaniejanef

Ok, another gourmand on the market. It isn't bad, I think this would be great for a teenager. What I appreciate is that it is nothing like the patchouli bomb/killer La Vie est Belle. Thank God for that!

genny17

I definitely agree with the former reviewer!! Almost a fresh gourmand in a way, Premier Delice isn't boozy,it is more delicate , softer, and amongst the sweet notes appear some tiny whiffs of the original!!! Si Armani and la vie est belle both have distinct characters..I own them and I love them !!
I like that it isn't a boozy gourmand, it is nicely done, and floral notes pop in here and there!
The whole vibe is smooth, uplifting, young but not teenagerish..
Lovely!!!

AND-MAT

I really don't get how people are comparing this one with La Vie Est Belle!

Premier delice is a fruity/floral fragrance mainly with a gourmand accord and some powdery notes. It's soft, pure and innocent. Pear is what I immediately smelled, followed by some floral notes that gives it a powdery feeling. It does not have a very complex evolution. It's somewhat linear with some minor changes mainly on the drydown.

La vie est belle on the other hand is a bomb of teeth decaying sweets of epic proportions. It has a pronounced praline accord and lots of iris and more sweets! It's a sillage bomb. Darker, more complex (Not necessarily better) than premier delice. I really can't see the similarities except for the first couple of minutes... Then, the two takes different directions!

All in all, Premier delice is a very good perfume. It follows it's theme perfectly and truly depicts the innocence and blissfulness of a young girl's soul! (La vie est belle does not do that!)

Elizete Araujo Moura

O original de há anos atrás, esse era especial; o de agora mais frutal que floral!!

Cannelline

I am a true Anaïs Anaïs fan and this is just nothing like it at all. This should not be a flanker but a completely new fragrance.

To me it smells almost identical with See by Chloé, which I strongly dislike on account of its sickly sweetness.

Silvery

I don't really know the original Anais Anais, so I can't make comparisons (fortunately? :)). I picked this perfume unintentionally for testing, by a random instinct. I was sure that the inital fruity blast was strawberry, but now I see that's pear. In spite of it, it's more like a sweet-strawberry-pearish cocktail for me, which is so delicious that it makes my mouth water. The name perfectly fits the scent, smells like the first ripe fruits of summer :) Unfortunately it doesn't last long, maybe for an hour. The drydown is very pleausreable, stays close to the skin, I feel galbanum and cedar mostly. I really like this fragrance, it's special, not that plain floral-fruity one. I'm going to use this perfume whole summer! I'm very satisfied with my new love <3

Aysu

Looking at the notes, I was expecting a floral with some warm gourmand undertones (like Pure Poison Elixir with added cacao notes) however all I could smell was a sophisticated La Vie Est Belle. It is better than La Vie Est Belle though.

It has finally arrived to our country and i had a chance to test it. I was very excited, since i loooove the original vintage Anais and also like the modern EDP reformulation, so i was wondering what they have done to this beauty this time....
Well... how to say it correctly?.... i am honestly disappointed with this flanker, since it doesn't hold ANY resemblance to it's original roots. I should have guessed by lookng at the colour of the bottle and notes that it will not be the Anais, that i love, with a little twist. Some reviewers say it does resemble the original in the middle stage but i strongly disagree. I don´t smell anything even close to the original. To me it basically smells like a praline-based "La vie est belle" by Lancome in EDT (!), but with a strong pear accord. Especially in the opening i smell a very dominant sweet pear. Somehow i think the notes listed here are incomplete: i don't understand what combination of notes gives that praline smell??? No denial that it is in here, at least it smells like it.
The cacao note is almost undetectable for my nose, mostly closer to the drydown, but very faint, if i wouldn´t know the notes i would never guess. The orange is also slightly detectable in the opening, but in general: it is a massive pear praline fusion. Not bad for the lovers of this kind of smell, but absolutely not my cup of tea. I like my "la vie est belle" in it's original version (EDP), and no need for me to have something similar, but less attractive. But it is just me....

The big plus of this fragrance (if you will like this scent) is it's longevity and projection. Both are very good and could be declared as more than average. And i like the colours of the bottle as well, but i'll stick to my original "Anais" which i find to be nothing oldfashioned, or bad smelling, or suffocating.

P.S. I have read the rest of reviews by now and i see that i am not the onloy one who get´s the resemblance of "La vie est belle", so it is not my imagination. But honestly, it doesn´t smell anything like "Si" by Armani, because "Si" and "LVEB" smell very different and i hate when people put them in one row, they are very much different.

dollycalifornia

I guess most people who hit "dislike" button is because this new edition is nothing similar to the original Anais Anais we were used to. Actually some notes are similar but are not prominent. This perfume opens with a juicy pear, juicy-sweet, lovely. And after a few minutes comes the cacao, beautifully highlighted with the pear. So if you like these two, you may like the perfume. Personally I love it ! I love gourmand / sweet perfume and this one is definitely. It is very romantic and young, gourmand and flowers. The bottle is similar to original but translucent with pink fluid. In my opinion, this is very unique, it doesn't have the similarities like others members said. Great longevity, more than average, and the sillage is quite good to me, not too big and enough to receive compliments. Oh, and did I mention that the price is affordable ? Will definitely buy !
But it is kind of strong, so depending on your tastes, you may prefer to wear it in a particular season. I think it is good for spring and fall, maybe too much for summer, but will see !

grace_elaine

I just recently brought this perfume from Duty Free in Dubai, I have not seen it on the shelves in my country yet, so I'm glad I purchased it. It smells so girly and romantic and its more suitable for younger people. Its very sweet, fruity and floral and feminine. It lasts quite long on the skin and I did not need to re apply the perfume throughout the day. I also loved the packaging as well, it's quite simple and it is like the original perfume packaging. I really love this perfume it smells so beautiful.

sistercurare

I have been wearing for the last week as I won it at a contest. Well, remember Cacharel Anais Anais back in the 80's? Ok, now forget it, as this has very little to do with the former one. Premier Delice is fruity and sweet and cute and fresh, things that are not bad really. But, is it memorable, does it stand out? Unfortunately, not.
Conserning the amount of pear aforementioned, I would say that indeed it is abundant..

StellaDiverFlynn

Upon spraying, Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice is like an explosion of sugary juicy pear, almost to the point of being saccharine, which makes me wonder how it can be justified as a flanker of the green floral Anaïs Anaïs.

However, given some time, the pear eventually calms down, although it remains dominant throughout the whole developpement. And green hyacinth and galbanum reminescent of those in the original Anaïs Anaïs are revealed. They help to restrain the sweetness of pear, and also provide moss-like nuance, which adds more depth to the composition. The cacao gives a praline-like creamy undertone at first, and turns into a slightly bitter cacao powder in the late drydown.

Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice has a moderate sillage and its longeivty is around 10 hours. I find the sugary pear at first a bit scary, but later it becomes a more balanced fruity gourmand. A cheerful little number to brighten a casual day.

kikinha

Where is it? Where can I find it? I can't barely find Cacharel in the US!!!!!!!

lilou

I totally agree with genny17. Nothing on La vie est belle or Si.
It´s really pretty, young, modern, juicy and sweet. The more you wear it, the more you love it. Very good job for a new version.
Correct lasting power.
A little bit too expensive.

genny17

Lovely!! I don't think it is like La vie est Belle, and Si, this is a soft juicy gourmand, not a bold gourmand, throughout , I detect the original Anais Anais, sure this is sweeter, but only in the top notes. then it retains the character of the original, this is younger, less floral, but in the drydown the peony appears, the galbanum also, which gives it its French touch.,classy and modern , fresh also.Great creation by Cacharel! Nice longevity..give it time, that beautiful scent opens up real nicely and the drydown is wonderful.!

LaPetite

I have tested it this morning and unfortunately it is very similar to those "La vie est belle" and "Si" Armani :-( .
Nothing to do with the "Anaïs Anaïs" spirit .
Really Cacharel , what the h**** are you doing ? Where has your creativity gone ?

maen

Is really really pretty!!. I love it!. Just as they targeted, for a new generation, the perfect "Premier Delice". Delightful, young, special floral fruity and very feminine.
Inside the box is written, proud to be romantic, reflects it very well.
Starts with a fresh Pear with Cacao, luscious Cacao, like Praline, which is all time there.
Then the Galbanum takes more importance, but in a good way, with the orange.
And after this, the floral notes, on me, more the Hyacinth than Peony and seems that there are also other more not listed yet .
Different from the regular, has a soft hint in the mid- last part, but much much modern and lighter, maybe the green notes could be the nexus, always in a distinctive manner. Nothing powdery.
Easy to wear and long lasting.
Good new job!!. With the Cacharel, french signature, with quality.

RedHeartSunglasses

Seriously? It's not even out yet and people are already voting on notes, screwing up the main notes breakdown.

(I will be posting an actual review once it comes out.)

Edit: Thank you to those of you who've now had the chance to try and review this, ranking the notes properly instead of leaving the page with one giant note on the right :P Very excited for this one!
