Reminds me of Big Red chewing gum. But I like it.

A_Ferrera

Gorgeous scent however the longevity isn't there!

My bottle is three years old and it does project nicely but not for very long, say 30 minutes before it dies down and becomes a skin scent, this applies to when I apply it on clothing.

This also reminds me a lot of Armani Code Cashmere.

Such a pity, I wish that the performance was a lot better for the price!!

malake

this is a love at first sniff

It's a very fancy smelling perfume! I also have its 'green sister', Vert Malachite and that one is much sweeter and has more jasmine.
The red one starts a bit herbaceous and bitter (probably thanks to sage), but after a minute you start smelling a warm, balsamic heart with very prominent orange flower and cashmeran. I use it in a smaller amount, because it can give me headache after a while - it's my usual reaction to large amount of white flowers in a fragrance, but I think it's more graceful if used in smaller amount on the body!
The base is smooth, warm and like a luxury body cream. Orange flower lingers until the end. I think it fits more in the evening. Great dinner date perfume if used in moderation!

Armani Prive Rouge Malachite is a luxurious fragrance! The combination of tuberose, pink pepper, and clary sage in the top notes must create a captivating scent. And the middle notes of tuberose, jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang, benzoin, cashmeran, and orange blossom smells so elegant and rich. And the base notes of tuberose and amber add a beautiful depth to the fragrance. It's a truly enchanting perfume!

I sampled RM on a paper tester and sniffed and sniffed but felt it was nothing special. Just received a 5ml and wow does this bloom lovely on the skin. Lush, dewy, creamy, and a bit spicy. Other tuberoses have that synthetic element of plastic that makes them a challenge, while RM is pure, carnal, sensual, and plush. I think my negative association with tuberose had everything to do with that false synthetic rendition. RM is the flower itself after a spring rain. The only negative for me is that in the dry down, I get a very naive and realistic sense of baby powder that cuts any romance off at the knees. Also, it reminds me so much of L'Instant that I can't imagine paying what they're asking for it. It is lovely though. No question!

I regret so much that I got 50ml from that perfume I’m going to buy 100 ml soon it’s amazing perfume I’m going to call it ambery perfume and there are little tuberose been added to it . It’s spicy sexy smooth high quality all mixed very well there are some bitterness with little sweetness from the vanilla I guess there are vanilla in dry down it’s quite perfume

CestCoco

It's a pretty floral scent. But it is not unique in any way. I guess if someone would have this as a signature scent nobody would mind it, but also nobody would be blown away by it.

It is not special, just strong and floral.

This fragrance made me register on fragrantica. Originally I was gifted the candle. I’ve now purchased a 2ml sample. I need this in my life despite the price. May not be for everyday wear as it is quite heavy. Complex, sensual.

Blossomlove

While this is a tuberose scent, and the tuberose here is exquisite and creamy, I love the subtle notes added to RM that create this unique scent profile while remaining a true, classic white floral. The pink pepper and sage create this subtle spiciness from the top and perks my interest. It's not too much, it's not in your face, it's designer and not niche style. Then the white floral bouquet bursts open and it's a beauty, led by the queen of white florals, the tuberose. It's rich, it's creamy, it's elegant, feminine and divine. The base is a sweet amber that gently gives the scent some grounding without getting in the way of the feminine bouquet. This is a must have for white floral lovers. Longevity is good, projection even better. Blind buy safe IF you love white florals. Definitely date night worthy, bridal worthy, event worthy; however, this can still be worn to a lunch date with your girlfriends. I imagine if you like white florals, you will use every last mL of your bottle. If this is out of your price range (and that's not surprising with the $$ of it) an amazing dupe is Emper Prive Rouge. Not as spicy and missing the sage but pretty damn close.
.
This does not remind me of Alien. Alien is a jasmine forward scent while this is a tuberose forward scent. Yes, they are both white florals but there are a million white floral scents on the market. This is lighter and fresher while Alien is a bit darker and juicier.

Nevermind, on dry down I kept getting whiffs that remind me of Alien. I still way prefer RM-it's more wearable and prettier. Alien can be really intense at times

A compliment getter. Unique, I even wear this to work even tho it is strong. Something for a bold woman.

CrisMS

I hate dominant tuberose notes. I stayed away from this one due to it, but I eventually gave in to the hype. Even for me, this is an undeniable refined scent, classy and proper lady like. It's not headachy, I think the cashmeran helps soften the strong green tuberose from the opening, then the base becomes creamier, bit vanilic, as it settles. I don't smell any particular notes individually, apart from the obvious tuberose. All the notes are in perfect balance.
I had D&G The Only One Intense - it's not a dupe at all, they have a similar vibe, D&G being more coconutty and generic white flowers, RM is tuberose dominant and is much more sophisticated with a luxury feel.

Conclusion: good, but immensely overhyped.
Objectively: I bought it mainly for the bottle, which is a better selling point than the actual scent.

villorea

I just tested RM today along with some other fragrances at Saks and Neimans but I keep reaching for this one, and it really is beautiful. To me, it’s like the soft-spoken girl you didn’t know had a seductive side. :) Really really captivating and just gorgeous amber white florals. The softness of the cashmeran and the tuberose draws you in while the jasmine and the benzoin leaves you wanting more and more. It also feels like the kind of fragrance you’d want to wear when you fall in love with your soulmate but is also fitting for everyday wear :) (WHEN YOU WANNA FEEL LIKE UR IN A BOTANICAL GARDEN IN THE MOONLIGHT)

top notes: earthy, powdery, floral (theres some soil like smell i detected early)
middle notes: still same soil like smell there but with a little more woodiness, still very floral and powdery
Base notes: this is were middle notes just become a little more sensual

Overall the sweet florals are more of something Id say is for a middle aged woman. Wouldn't recommend it to teens or someone in their 20's. I ended up gifting it to my mom. Good longevity and good performance! overall: 8/10

Very beautiful fragrance. I think it's a deep gourmand sweety floral that reminds me Cinéma by Yves Saint Laurent. I don't understand when people say it's very sexy or provocative and strong woman style. To me it's an innocent gourmand but luxury and heady perfume. I think it's good for cold days because it's warm scent that provides comfort. Maybe a good scent to go to bed in winter after drinking a hot chocolate 💜

Rouge Malachite smells like its beautiful bottle looks to me. It smells how I would imagine the color red to smell. It’s warm and balsamic. It has an herbal, almost menthol-esque hue from the sage, which I find to be overlooked in this scent - though subtle, I think it‘s one of the main contributors to RM‘s exquisiteness. And then, of course, there is this creamy, slightly sweet blend of flowers. Usually not too fond of tuberose, I‘m glad to find it’s not as focused on it as I had expected it to be. It’s not overpowering, and simply very well-done - the most beautiful, natural tuberose note I have consciously encountered so far. I have come across several other tuberose-wary people that do love RM. It’s nicely balanced with the jasmine and some ylang-ylang. I‘m not sure if it’s the latter, but RM also has some kind of tropical, solar vibe. The creamy flowers and balmy notes almost remind me of sunscreen, which I personally adore. In general, this fragrance blooms beautifully in the heat. All in all, Rouge Malachite shines with high-quality, masterfully blended florals and amber, garnished with some sage. It smells luxurious, kind of erotic, warm, creamy, subtly tropical. A (male) friend of mine said it gives off “dancing Tango in a red dress” kind of vibes and I agree. RM has great lasting power, however, its projection is less strong than I anticipated based on the character of the scent - I tend to underspray this one. I personally like that, as it‘s easy to dose in summer this way. RM can be worn all year round!

VanessaD19

This is my favorite tuberose fragrance ive encountered to date. This smells like an incredibley classy woman who is also a little sexy but, dont get it twisted she dosent try to get attention or show off. Shes a leader not a follower and she dosent care what you think. Shes a lady in the street and you know the rest.

Mehtapacikgoz

Selling my 100ml bottle located in NZ

amanda0727

Blind bought this because I found a 100ml tester bottle for an amazing price at a discounter. An insane blind buy considering I am not a white floral fan. However I have read many reviews from non white floral lovers who love this fragrance. Not only that, the price increases also somewhat made me FOMO into buying this.

The opening is amazing, the creaminess reminds me a lot of Killian's Rolling In Love (same perfumer), but the tuberose is amped up to the max here. The drydown I am not so crazy about. On paper, the greeness is apparent, not so on skin. I was worried this would smell overly mature but thankfully it doesn't. It is actually a sexy tuberose, definitely grown but not elderly mature. Has a designer-ish vibe as well. I can see why this is so popular. Not for everyday wear, more suited for date nights or special occasion. Strong and projecting, I will never be able to go through my 100ml bottle in my lifetime.

Dor_ili

One of my top picks. I so adore this perfume. It is elegant and also so sexy. If anyone in Greece sells it,please feel free to message me,as I am running out of it and I really need it 😍

SmokeyLady

@orange lips11 the only reason I think this reminds some of us of old Alien is jasmine and cashmeran. Many perfumes that have this mix are 'accused' of being Alien dupes, because it is distinctive DNA. Today Alien is too musky so people are a bit desperate to find replacement.

My nose is not trained that well, so for the flowers, I smell perfect blend of jasmine, tuberose and Ylang ylang in this one. It has herbal note from beginning to the end. Pepper disappears soon and you are left with flowery creamy sweetness, dense and luxurious.

The reason I mentioned Alien Essence Absolue is not to say this is dupe but it has some of the notes, vibe and is deep, rich fragrance that would (maybe) be great alternative for those who loved that Alien flanker.

@Latetothescene and others:
Julianna’s Perfumes has an amazing dupe of RM, called “Bad B*tch”... it is amazing!

orangelips11

Alien smell nothing like Rouge Malachite, Alien is strong in Jasmine, Rouge Malachite is strong in tuberose, Jasmine and tuberose are 2 differences flowers, I tested it side by side on my right arm and left arm, they are nothing alike, what a joke....
just like I hear people say it everyday, Angel's Share smell like apple pie......

Experience your nose, explore your scent journey

Rude indeed, my god. Talk about ego in the fashion industry. 😩 I hope whoever decided this get's a serious case of diarhea in a traffic jam with no toilets in sight for miles and miles to come. Here's hoping 🙏

PS To all the ones downvoting, you're supporting this practice from a billion dollar co.?
Get a bag of empathy for the people that soon won't be able to afford fragrances. You should see this as a red thread in what is happening in today's society. Capitalism ok, but this? This is just plain revolting.

They only do it to get their exclusivity back (and make a massive profit obviously). Designer prices go up, niche and high end designer brand too because they want there to be a gap between 'regular' designer and high end fragrances. However, they ALL want to be elite now, for the happy few, and they are setting and supporting a trend in the perfume world. It's a never ending cycle and competition. YSL did the same with Babycat. 50 EUR up, just like that. And Armani 100 EUR. Let me repeat, a HUNDRED EUR, in ONE go, not even gradually!
Where does it end? Please don't think it's because of hard to harvest ingrediënts. It may have started that way, along with the covid pandemic which vastly increased interest in fragrances globaly, it sure isn't the reason now.
The profit companies like Armani privé makes is disgusting. Think 20 ish EUR cost per 100ml bottle, 250 -400 EUR or higher to sell (Exceptions at small niche houses and genuinly hard to find ingrediënts aside).

In any case, this is not right. Rant over. Grumpy face.

SmokeyLady

@Waltzing Matilda the one you are thinking about is Niche Royal Rouge.
It is good to know about this dupes. I am surprised about price increase and I don't see it on their Italian website yet. It is very unfair what they are doing. 10-20e would be okay, but this is rude.
It is beautiful femme fatale fragrance in similar way like Alien essence Absolue. I been dreaming about it for a while but price made some others a priority.

Waltzing Matilda

@Latetothescene. Lattafa has a dupe called Opulent Red which is supposed to be the bomb at a fraction of the price. Middle Eastern fragrances are looking very attractive to me as far as quality and price goes. I have Infini Rose which is a Maison Alhambra dupe of Initio Atomic Rose - it's a beast and long lasting too. It went straight to my top shelf. A bonus is that the packaging is superior for what you'd expect with a copy. It couldn't hurt to check it out. There are so many of these perfumes that I'm going to explore in the coming months and Opulent Red is one of them. There must be at least a couple of Middle Eastern copies of Armani Prive Rouge Malachite because I saw a review of one which had almost the same bottle as the original. I didn't bookmark it and now I can't find it. Grrr!
** Found it on an Aussie site called privateblends.com.au
It's by Maison Alhambra and is called Niche Royal Rouge.

Latetothescene

370 EUR for a 100ml??!?? WTF!! I literally came here to mention this price increase. Not even a black friday sale can make up for this. There is greed and there is this, lol. I'll cherish my 100ml bottle and back up, which I bought for 186 EUR on black friday at 30% discount A YEAR AGO! And then I'll MOVE ON... I still love it so much but not for this price. This explains why my niche store is no longer carrying the line since a few weeks. Even they realised they are now overpriced AF and won't sell any more. Grumpy face...

Better stock up on, you know, everything. A year from now designers will have Roja prices i'm sure. A disgrace. My niche store now has anti theft tags on everything and dummies on display. This is what happens when perfume only becomes available for the rich and super rich. 😡

miriam2893

Got 100 euro more expensive in Europe than before! Tsss....

Armani Prive Rouge Malachite Giorgio Armani
( vial test, gift from friend - thank you)

Rogue Malachite is very ideal tuberose amber that can be use as blueprint, sensual and creamy.
This is def. Creamy Tuberose I am looking for.

Once it pass the peppery top, the tuberose on creamy amber just truly beautiful.

However, imho. This fragrances needs heat too bloom. I compare to YSL Supreme Bouquet which in climate control environment (24-25c) smell so much better but no where as natural as Rogue Malachite. But in climate control I get mild creamy base with Tuberose. The density of both fragrance are different.

Do I wish to own. I was said def. Yes.
But after few test Supreme Bouquet so the trick well enough and work on both environments (hot n cold) stronger.

Maybe, I should not brother grab one.

Score : 9/10
Longevity: TBA
Prorjection : Moderate soft
Classification : Femme
Summary : The OG creamy-ambery Tuberose

loliirain

As a tuberose lover, I fully expected to fall head over heels in love with Rouge Malachite. The tuberose is strong, but the jasmine in it reminds me too much of Alien to justify the price. It’s a little too peppery and almost sharp despite how creamy the tuberose is.

Scissorslizardspock

I layered this with Hypnotic Poison today and I’m getting Alien Essence Absolue, how cool!

Admw

Alien with to much pepper 🤷🏻♀️

Edit: 5hrs later, it’s great, it has something

Jwdp

It’s nice, really. On me though it smells almost exactly like Alien. I have Alien already, and it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than this.

orangelips11

Believe me, don't test it on paper, wear it because its smell absolutely amazing in the air, and you will get compliments, very lovely tuberose and amber fragrance

Pentagon

Rouge Malachite is a warm floral with a creamy quality that stands in contrast to the sharp florals you often smell. Rouge Malachite is definitely warmer with its amber and benzoin notes compared to, for example, Louboutin's Loubikiss which is a more straightforward jasmine-tuberose floral. But you do have to get past the initial spray that does go heavy on the pepper and sage, which is that bug spray vibe people talk about.

Contrary to many reviews here that say RM is best suited for cold weather, I can imagine this being worn on a hot summer night as it blends into your skin -- it literally smells like a warm garden in the summertime. That said, the sage and pepper opening is so strong that I also can see it being too much for people. Even fans of this fragrance say that you have to wait about 2 hours for the magic to happen, which is a pretty long grace period to give such an expensive fragrance to perform. And then it turns into a skin scent, so performance at its optimal state is only moderate.

But is this worth the $340 US that I paid for a 3.3. ounce bottle? Not really. I rushed to buy this a few years ago when YouTube influencers were (1) overhyping this fragrance and (2) saying how it had been discontinued which created that sense of urgency. Years later, it has not been discontinued and you can buy full bottles directly on the Armani Beauty website. While this is a beautiful fragrance, it's not so unique and life-changing that I feel like it warranted as much praise as it received from people like Demi Rawling (who created an entire video about this being her signature scent). But honestly, all fragrances are rather overhyped, and I've never come across something that is as life-changing as YouTubers make it out to be...it is just perfume after all.

In sum, I'd recommend this if you want a warm, tuberose floral, but I would suggest getting the 1.7 ounce bottle for $231 US (which was not available when I panic-bought my larger bottle). Better yet, get a 2 or 5 ml sample before you commit. The value of this fragrance also doesn't seem to hold up on the secondary market, since I've seen people selling their own practically brand new bottles for a heavy discount (excluding the obvious fakes on Ebay, which claim to be new in sealed packaging but are 70% off). Compare this to BR540 which is similarly priced yet holds its value better. So if you are fickle with perfumes and tend to sell them, buy the smaller bottle or get a 2 ml or 5 ml sample first.

Lastly, don't fall for the YouTube hype for any fragrance. Their job is to create this mystical allure around fragrances that cannot ever live up to the hype, even if you're a fragrance lover like all of us are.

francesco_grieco

Rouge Malachite by Giorgio Armani combines spicy and sweet notes, with pepper providing a spicy kick and a somewhat gingerbread-like sweetness. However, as per my personal taste, this sweet-spicy accord does not align seamlessly with the floral presence of tuberose - it's as if you're smelling Christmas biscuits baked by an enthusiastic relative who went a bit overboard with synthetic floral flavoring. This fusion of contrasting elements hints at an attempt to cater to a broad audience, potentially leaning towards a more commercial and, in some opinions, a somewhat lower-end fragrance spectrum. While the packaging and presentation are undeniably elegant, endorsing the product's premium price point, the same level of refinement might not always carry over to the fragrance itself.

marialena888m

It smells too much like a few department store perfumes that can be had for cheaper…one of them being D&G’s The Only One Intense. I’ve worn both, and the D&G smells more attractive (judging from the compliments I get), and it also has a more addictive quality to it, I keep wanting to smell my wrists every few minutes, but with Rouge Malachite I don’t, it feels flat. This one smells more mature, more refined, more linear and smoother/blended in comparison, but it’s definitely not ‘better’. To me it’s less interesting and comes off as more serious. It is only superior to TOOI in terms of its longevity, TOOI has fantastic sillage that lasts 3-4 hours before turning into a skin scent, but Rouge Malachite persists the entire day and can get nauseating if you overspray. Not worth the price, unless you really love the composition and want a serious/formal, creamy tuberose that stays linear and doesn’t evolve much. YSL’s Supreme Bouquet is a similar tuberose scent, it has the same mature/formal feel to it, also linear and ‘creamy’.

Dinaina

Very similar to Alien Fusion, but RM is greener and less sweet, not creamy in my opinion and almost bitter smelling.

I have to say I prefer Alien Fusion over this.

SaraMiriam8

tried it on paper and loved it so decided to spray my wrists. initially i was shocked how much i disliked in my skin. the scent was making me nauseated almost. now its been a couple of hours and it smells better. there is still something overly sweet that i dont know if i like it or not. lol
may need a couple of other tries to see if i love it or not.

Lauren387

I’m trying to figure this one out. I am confident that I do not like the opening at all. It smells a little like cigarettes to me. This might be the combination of the potent pepper against the silky texture of the tuberose that reminds me of smoke. Also it’s quite chemically in the opening.

After 30 minutes or more, the pepper settles and the jasmine, tuberose and amber come through. The tuberose is well blended and not cloying. The pepper is still in the background. The drydown is more likeable. However, I’ve yet to find anything stand-out-ish enough that justifies its price.

This is what I imagine a modern version of Eartha Kitt’s character, Lady Eloise, from Spike Lee’s ‘92 film Boomerang to smell like. And although I’m showing my age with that comparison, I’m not sure I have achieved that level of vampy, jewel-studded cigarette holder, rich cougar yet.

sabertooth_salem

Heady, synthetic, white florals. If you like Alien, this is like her sexy, rich, older sister.

pinotos802

Gorgeous, elegant florals and amber scent. To me it smells like the love child of Paradoxe and Alien, which is not a bad thing, but unfortunately it is not that original or groundbreaking. Crowd pleaser? Yes. Unnofensive? Yes. Unique? Not really. Overpriced? Perhaps so.

Selenity

This is a pretty ambered white floral scent. I can see why the hype around this. It gives off elegant, classy, sweet, but spicy vibes. It reminds me of a less gourmand Lira with a bit of Erawan. I’m learning to love clary sage in perfumes. Unfortunately, good as it smells, I can’t seem to get around my usual antiquated-tuberose gripes. Worth a sniff in store.

ava96

Now this is a white floral done right! I love it, it's so classy. I think it's appropriate for any season and any time of day.

cocomademoisellerie

Definitely reminds me of Alien Fusion. So much, I couldn't tell the difference between the two by memory. Thick floral plus amber, not very refined. It is a powerhouse, appeals to mass market needs but I miss the fine lines. Beautiful bottle though.

Fleurie20

A linear ambery tuberose with very prominent pepper note at the beginning. Dense, rich and creamy.

tskuster

This perfume is very classy, opulent, and sensual. To me, this smells like what I imagine a billionaires wife to smell like. The fragrance is dense and voluptuous. I will say, I don’t like the earthy/spicy opening at all, but with time it goes away. It smells perfect for a special occasion or a really expensive dinner in the fall/winter. It’s a warm, dense, ambery floral. A must try in my opinion. This fragrance does need a few hours to sit on the skin until the magic happens. It lasts around 8 hours and I'm assuming it could last even longer.

brandybasisty

She is soooo creamy. The opening is bright, fruity and smooth--but not sweet because of the spicy musky aspect of the clary sage. Rouge Malachite changed my mind about tuberose, a note I previously associated with white floral power fragrances of the mid eighties and nineties that now smell like bathroom air freshener to me. I was so glad to grab a tester of this! I think 3-4 sprays give you a good scent bubble for 6+ hours, but it could even be longer. I suspect that the creamy texture of this scent could make me asnomic if I overindulge in it.

raiza1990

This is very nice. I get a sweet white floral. It’s sensual and elegant. The benzoin is clearly detectable. In my opinion, totally feminine, not unisex. Good for days when you want something fresh with a sweet touch. Try it if you want a mature floral.

Xela_529

Rouge Malachite is such a masterpiece. She completely blows The Only One Intense & Alien out of the water. Those 2 don't even come close! RM is such a sophisticated & elegant tuberose fragrance for fall & winter nights. She's so intoxicating. The ultimate femme fatal fragrance for me.. Very well blended, She's heavy on the tuberose & she's spicy so I suggest sampling if you think those qualities may be questionable for you.

I can't wait for fall just so I can wear her again.

LaContessina

I don't know you, but I've smelled this before!
Very, very resemblant to Alien with a tad more sugaryness.
At times I get a strange acetone note (but it could very well be the tuberose) and a musky accent.
The rest is Tuberose, jasmine (indolic but artificial) and not much else.
Feminine but not original in the least, i regret having spent (even if a small amount) for a sample.
Get Alien instead.

ShaimaWay

I'm really on the fence about this one. This was a blind buy for me. I'm not sure if that was a good idea, but one thing is for certain: this is not blind buy safe.

Update: I'm in love!

Jessica63390

This opens as a spicy sage but quickly dries down into a masterpiece. In the mid, I get a spicy cinnamon vanilla. I am guessing that is the Benzoin. Upon drying down, it's a beautiful take on tuberose. I can see the resemblance to Alien on the dry down, but the spicy vanilla is blended with the tuberose keeping them two different fragrances. If you love one, you will probably enjoy the other.

leoselle

well i really loved this one for the longest run it’s when i realized i love tuberose. some says it’s alien it’s not. There is a hint but Alien seem darker on the other hand this is much Brighter lighter smoother also it’s bubble-gummy
they’re definitely not the same and i like this one better

Erianwyn

I’m glad I only bought 1ml to test this because unfortunately I just don’t like it. I think it’s down to the strength of the tuberose, because that is all I could smell. I’ve gone back and sniffed the sample a few times and it just hits my stomach wrong. It was very hard to scrub off, so if you love tuberose on beast mode this may suit you. I’d recommend trying a sample first, as always.

CMaingi

This is a really spicy scent. Heavy on the Tuberose. I would advise sampling this for those trying to get into Niche fragrances. Otherwise the performance is a beast on my skin. I’m not saying it’s similar to Potrait of a Lady but if love POL by Frederick Malle then this is a safe blind buy for you.

MisTapia

Beautiful white floral. Tuberose definitely stands out but it’s good. It’s blended well. Very classy, elegant, sexy. Great for an event like a wedding, date, or evening out. It was a successful blind buy for me

ayshee_x

Earthy white floral scent. I think it does smell like a more mature version of The Only One intense by D&G but this isn’t as sweet and has that sort of earthy rain smell to it. It’s sophisticated but I also think this has a bit of a vintage vibe.

Helloneighbor

Oh I don’t like this at all. Something about this smells really spicy and musty. I received a free sample vial with another order. Something about it just smells off to me

AquaBaby5

I love this. Wearing for me today. My husband hates it for some reason compared to Alien but sometimes I just don’t care. Most likely the sage so be aware of that note before testing. I happen to love sage.

Loleta313

It’s too overwhelming for some reason and spicy

jessica_chinos

This is a very elegant, feminine perfume. Rouge Malachite is a well-rounded white floral that reminds me of elegant mansions, grand-pianos and elegant dinner parties. It is quite nice to smell your wrist when you have it on, it has a good sillage too. I would say this is the elegant version of Alien, not for clubbing but for weddings.

Too expensive though.

Tincel

I did not think I could consider a perfume too mature for me, but this one is. It is great in any case, but it will have to wait a few years.

Natalieex

I’m too ugly to wear this.

oDestroh

I did not like this scent at first at all. I have come to actually like this though. I received a sample from ordering from l’oréal and it smells great! Fresh smoky floral smell. Very refined and mature. The dry down is even better!

ilydemirel

its like room spray. i dont like it. too basic for this price.

Enrium

Rouge Malachite is a subtle, refined white floral scent that features jasmine prominently. It isn't anything unusual or groundbreaking, and reminds me in parts of several other scents, notably YSL Supreme Bouquet, BDK Tubéreuse Impériale and, unavoidably, Alien. I hated Alien - it did not work at all for me - but RM is like an improved version of Alien, made with natural-smelling ingredients. Such compositions are fairly run-of-the-mill - they simply involve a white floral accord on a woody-amber base.

RM opens with soft, clean jasmine, given a little lift by the well-placed pink pepper note. Tuberose follows, developing with the scent. Clean and slightly green, it becomes progressively sweeter, enhanced by creamy, tropical ylang ylang. I get a hint of orange blossom, contributing to the sweetness, but this is primarily a jasmine-tuberose scent. It becomes increasingly powdery.

The drydown is quite musky and slightly animalic, but in a softly synthetic manner. Soft woody notes creep in, rounding it out nicely. The sweet white florals remain until final fade, musky and powdery. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting.

A pleasant, polite white floral, sweet and feminine, made with good-quality ingredients, this is a white floral for everyday use. Transeasonal and versatile too. However, it is nothing groundbreaking and is overpriced for what it is. I would choose Supreme Bouquet over this. Elevated Alien. 3.5/5.

The Wolf

Loved the open on my skin but after a while it goes to lots of jasmine and even more tuberose.
Very good but very fem, so I cannot wear. Would be excellent on a woman.

Scent 7.7/10
Performance 7/10

Tincel

Not all fragrances make good use of tuberose, and even fewer make it the star of an intelligent and coherent design, so when one does, it is worth celebrating. Whether the celebration is worth 300€ is another question.

Ravenrage

I can't believe I didn't comment on this yet.

Right off the bat, this is a love, obviously. It smells luxurious in a way it convinces you it is worth the ridiculous price.

Don't wanna repeat everything that's been written here a hundred times. I just need to tell you to take this to a tropical humid country for the full experience. It is going to bloom like crazy, it gets juicy and so much more exotic and sexy. The coconutty note vanishes in the heat and you are left with tuberoses picked by gods. Sad thing - longevity and sillage could be better. (Like Vert Malachite.)

seliko

here is my honest take: Rouge Malachite is more jasmine than tuberose. It is mature as jasmine scents tend to be, it smells like jasmine soap with an amber background. I have smelled this exact same scent at the mall before, or on one of my aunts and I heavily doubt that it was a collection privée. Note that I am very familiar with the middle east and jasmine fragrances are the standard there

Spencemonster

This is Alien Fusion - just not as spicy. This is also Christian Louboutin - Loubimar - just not as luxurious as Loubimar - nor as lemon. But they’re all very similar.

Personally. Loubimar is the best.

LEM922

Received a sample of this from Armani, and this is incredibly sexy especially on the dry down. This is definitely wealthy, rich lady vibes. I could see this being a real head turner, especially with men. It's got that classy old money kind of feel to it, but it doesn't smell dated or old-fashioned at all. And when I become acquainted with Armani as a fragrance house, the more I begin to see just how classy their offerings are. If you push aside things like Acqua di Gio/Gioia and really explore their prive line and even some more of their main stream fragrances, they have some real winners. This is definitely one of them. Beautiful fragrance.

elsaj047

if BDK made a version of the perfume gris charnel called "new car" it would smell like this.

Baba_Yaga1996

Let's just get this out of the way—this is giving a higher end version of Mugler's Alien. I used to LOVE Alien but it started to smell a bit too synthetic and screechy to my nose with the more recent formulations.

This is at a MUCH higher price point for sure but it smells very natural, less in-your-face, more refined and elegant. It lasts on my skin for at least 8 hours on a good day, and about 4-6 on the other days when my skin decides to not eat it alive. It's sexy in the slightly dirty sense because the jasmine/tuberose/amber combo are a touch animalic. It's giving mysterious kinky human veiled in an elegant black outfit.

If I want to turn some heads, I will wear this when I'm at a nice bar dressed in an all black outfit and sipping that Martini—giving the never ending bedroom eyes. There's a definite allure to this fragrance and I am in love with it.

Kizzyb93

Fragrantica go me sniffing my whole collection tonight just to post these reviews 😂 I must say most are blind buys and this one I really did get fooled by the hype to my stale tart tuberose reminds me of one of that really old discontinued Paca Rabanne scent that I can’t remember the the name of… at the same time.

madgreen

oh my god............

the opening was alright, but i was like meh. but i heard from somewhere that it was worth it for the dry down... and they weren't kidding. it is SO GOOD. i can't stop smelling my wrist. of course, you HAVE to like tuberose to like this. and while, it is a very warm fragrance, it's so NOT heavy. some people may disagree, but i feel like this is signature scent material, good for any time. the florals make it good for spring, but the amber and vanilla make it good for fall and winter. the only time i may not wear it is in the summer. i'd say moderate projection, you can smell it close by, but it's not in your face at all, which i really like. lasted me all day.

Dape

I trusted the hype on this one and got my hands on a sample.

Already tried it twice and unfortunately, I really dislike it. The first half an hour on my skin makes me feel nauseated, then it softens a little bit and reminds me of the perfume my grandmother's friends would wear to church: always over sprayed, always too heavy and always similar to breeze floral something mixed with hairspray.

I feel bad for this one, as my husband likes it. But I really can't stand it.

quency1

Too much tuberose! Heavy and headache.can't bear it.

qth3r1n3

I bought this at a good bargain during the Saks Fifth end of year sale, and ended up returning it 🫥 I really wanted to love this perfume because of its dry down. It is deep, rich and smells so sophisticated. But I cannot get over the really strong scent of tuberose from the first spray. Usually I can wait for a minute or two to let the perfume dry down, but not with this one. It can be a bit too much for someone not the biggest fan of tuberose. I usually wouldn't mind it, I have a few perfumes with tuberose as a scent profile but this one is strong. I highly advice you to get a sample or go to a perfume counter and get a whiff of this before committing to a bottle.

I did but I still bought it thinking I'll grow into it, I didn't lol. If you want something similar at a better price point, Givenchy L'interdit Rouge has some similar vibes to it.

ellovesperfume

tuberose heavy

SaraZigova

I don't get the hype really, it's sour

monamour7

One of my favourite perfumes. I perceive this as a classy, feminine, “out of your league” -type of perfume. Really interesting top notes on the first sprizz, the tuberose really dominating for the first seconds and upon the first time I smell this perfume I thought to myself bubblegum?. However, it develops into this fine amber and white florals that is just such a lush mix. When you smell this you know its an expensive and designer perfume. This perfume is not overwhelming and dominating, its more like a subtle, classy, “i know i’m sexy without trying too much” smell, and often got people wondering what I am wearing? Definitely more on a fall/winter scent

Marlene12

if anyone is interested full bottle for sale 100 ml on mercari under user name Marly :)

scissorhandedly

300$... for this? If you told me it was a 120$ designer perfume, I'd believe you. The opening is okay, the drydown is annoying - goes masculine on my skin, in a bad way. Not great on fabric, either. You're definitely paying for the packaging.

Mellerouge

I accidently layered this with Lush’s Lust solid perfume. Just wow, orgasmic! I don’t get popcorn AT ALL. I have no idea what that reviewer is talking about. I get a fluffy tuberose, sexy jasmine and ylang ylang. If you’re a fan of other white floral fragrances like Pure Poison, L’interdît, Dior Addict, Jasmin Rouge, etc. You’ll also love this.

Finka227

Expensive and smells like popcorn, save your money and don’t believe the hype!
And don’t delete my review because it’s too honest.

ms.moniczka

I would like to say one thing in here...if you want to buy copy of this fragrance...Riiffs Luxury Rouge is as close as you can get and cost of this perfume in UK is £22 for 100ml thanks me later. I have tested Rouge Malachite in shop and it last on my skin 2h I was really shocked as price of this fragrance is big. I know it was only one spray but I can say that Riiffs version is much stronger and <95% similar. Very good quality for what you pay.

midget11

saw the hype and ended up getting it, Im not usually wowed by the first sniff but WOW this one is something. Its quite linear from first spray till the end, it dries down to a deep and extremely dense like thick, super smooth velvety creamy tuberose flower bed. I’ve probably smelt some high end face creams like this. But I’m actually wowed by how deep and realistic this is, it’s really like ur smelling flowers theres not even the tiniest bit of syntheticness to it. Lowkey Givenchy L’interdit Rouge could be a dark spicey perfumey clubbing flanker of this

This is the epitome of femininity imo like it doesn’t even smell like a perfume to me it’s just so deep, dense and rich… I blind bought the 100ml bottle and didnt think I was gonna like it so I was prepared to over spray and get rid of it but now the thought of using it and finishing it scaring me 😂 its a work of art, too beautiful, im not even sure I wanna smell so beautiful outside when I don’t have the looks to accommodate it

Update: Idk how im smelling this on my arm from 18 hours ago and am also getting whiffs of it, the weird part is I sprayed ysl babycat over this multiple times, I can’t smell that at all but this is still there in perfect condition...was not ready for this performance

CottoCelina2022

The price tag is rediculous. All i can smell is lilac bush. I like some depth, some sweetness and florals in my perfumes...But this one doesn't give me any of that. It's a NO.

Kcbear28

This is gold. If Alien was a Padawan, this masterpiece here would be a true Jedi master. Okay, Starwars reference out of the way, yes, it’s tuberose, Jasmine and what’s not but it is well blended and heavenly. I wouldn’t call it a sexy perfume. To me it’s more of a sophistication in a bottle. Back up worthy.

Vicschmidtscents

I've seen so much hype around this perfume but I avoided sampling it for a long time due to the high price tag, but WOW. I immediately fell in love and was sad I waited so long to try it. I will keep a bottle of this in my collection for the rest of my life! (RIP my wallet tho).

Its a warm, sweet, thick, buttery yellow tuberose floral that feels so womanly and refined. It'll last for weeks on my clothes, and the sillage is good but not enormous. Its perfect.

Toks123

I just purchased this and I love it. I can’t stop smelling myself. Anyone a fan of tuberose, will love this.

alchemist1976stephanie

Call me crazy but this is just boring to me. It doesn't have any sexiness or any of the 'umph' I expected given how everyone talks about it. I sprayed it today and all I could think was 'that's it??' It was very underwhelming. It reminds me of a lipstick scent. By the time it got to the dry down, it was just gone. Guess I saved myself a few hundred bucks.

Youkay

Nice and unique in a mature , “I’m outta your league” kind of way.
I’ve tried to see the resemblance with alien like most people but I don’t see any. They’re two very different fragrances. If anything, it reminds me of haute fragrance company’s wear love everywhere.
Longevity & sillage are very impressive.

cyln

I had high expectations for this blind buy. Unfortunately on my skin i smelled mostly cinnamon (which is not listed in the ingredients) and it reminds me various types of hot winter herbal teas i drank. After a few sprays initially it is strong with a good sillage, but went away quickly after like two hours, longevity was very weak on me and clothes.

Linnsim

This is a gem. It’s one of my top 5 perfumes for life, backupbottle worthy. I didn’t like it the first time because I didn’t spray on the skin. The thing is this is a scent that gets better and better, the drydown is amazing, the most beautiful sexy creamy tuberose and jasmine, just delicious. This is a femme fatale , boss lady, datenight scent. Stunning. It opens very green, but just wait for it.. 10/10

arorafragrance

The most sensual fragrance. Luxurious and sophisticated with a tropical and creamy feel to it after the initial spray. It also smells high quality! Love it!!

ggartel

I recently smelled this in person for the first time and while it is gorgeous I was absolutely sure I already have something in my collection that smells almost identical. I cannot put my finger on what though and it’s driving me insane (it isn’t Vert Malachite nor is it anything listed in the “reminds me of” section. Stunning fragrance, for sure.

sjt422

This is the scent of a woman who is sure of herself, makes bold decisions, but is also super feminine and endearing. I happen to love it.

CeeTee

Alas! I have been able to try this & received a sample from a sweet SA at the Armani counter. 💛 Here are my pros/cons & opinions on the comparisons I have seen everywhere. (I heard about this frag due to all of the Alien references I’d seen.)
Sorry this is so long..Buckle up. 😂

Pros:
Beautiful tuberose bomb with a resinous amber accord and a substantial, grounded, warm cashmeran base. I love that profile and generally adore these notes. I’m picky about tuberose (My Way, I’m scowling at you.) Here, the tuberose is perfect (for moi). RM delivers what it advertises. It’s strong, dense, loud -and I love it for that!

Cons:
It’s kind of heavy / dense. That’s not bad, but I think the density limits the ability to disperse and project. (As much as I Personally prefer.) It DOES last. It’s not as ‘bright’ as I hoped it would be. I mean bright as in “sizzling” if that makes sense. (Probably not.) 😂 The slightly indolic character of the tuberose might be pulling it down a little, for me. Finally, $$$. Sheesh!

Comparisons:
-The current Alien (ugh) is brighter. (Sambac jasmine w/ zero indoles.)
-RM is more similar to Alien Fusion due to the tuberose (but Fusion has zero indoles and Fusion goes a little grapey like OG Alien, so it’s brighter and sizzles.)
-The Aliens work for broader seasonal variations.

In the end, it’s a strong like, but I discovered I prefer Vert Malachite and only want to have one. I wrote a review on that one if you want to check it out. Hope this helps!

xdina04

this might sound really random… but to me this fragrance weirdly smells like tamarind? as soon as i sprayed it i immediately got a dolma vibe but in like the fanciest way possible🤪

alambnamedpam

Am I the only person who bought this on Demi’s recommendation and who wasn’t disappointed? I am admittedly a tuberose enthusiast, and I wear white florals well, so I knew I would almost certainly love this one, and I do. I’ve often compared Diptyque’s Do Son to Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori. Rouche Malachite is, to me, the midpoint between those fragrances and Creed’s Tubereuse Indiana. The tuberose in TI is too earthy for me — it smells dirty, like a flower on the verge of rot. Rouge Malachite brings a bit of that earthiness to the table, albeit in a diminished capacity, along with a spicy/peppery kick, and marries them with some of Do Son’s sweetness. The effect is enticing, elegant, and incredibly beautiful.

If Do Son is my favourite day perfume, Rouge Malachite seems like the perfect contender for its night-time counterpart. The sillage is delightful, the longevity impresses. I love this fragrance.

n.b. I am completely noseblind to Mugler’s Alien. I have never owned it, despite loving white florals, because I cannot (and have never been able to) smell it. I can’t speak to its similarity to Rouge Malachite, however, I assume that Rouge Malachite is different enough from Alien, being that I can definitely smell it.

Ambroxer

I’ve heard such incredible hype for Rouge Malachite, I jumped when the opportunity to sample arose and see for myself what this fragrance is all about. My expectation was for something unapologetically feminine, sexy and sensual. An irresistible potion of seduction.

So I tried it and immediately had a lot of those notions and the hype justified. After a quick waft of what felt like gingerbread cookies, Rouge Malachite came on strong as a spicy bouquet of white flowers. Sultry tuberose combined with gentle jasmine. It’s a heady thing to breathe in for sure and conjures images of the woman of my dreams in a crimson gown sauntering towards the bedroom. Pink pepper gives a touch of spice while amber quickly appears to give warmth, like femininity enjoying fits of passion between the heated sheets.

As Rouge Malachite dries down, however, my excitement begins to wane a bit. Amber and pepper become the main focus to my nose, lending the scent a much more unisex character. It reminds me a bit of some of the masculine designers that I wear most with an added feminine floral breeze dashing through. It’s enough to pour a bit of cold water on the early sex goddess impression. Don’t get me wrong, Rouge Malachite is still an excellent fragrance sure to turn heads. However, I also can’t shake the thought that there has been such a deluge of prominent tuberose fragrances, the inherent sexiness of the note wilts a bit here. “Familiarity is the death of desire”, I was once told. And sadly, that applies for me here.

Ultimately, Rouge Malachite is an incredible example of how important it can be to find the fragrance best suited to you. On the right woman, I have no doubt this would be absolutely ravishing. Smelling it alone in my room, it kind of sinks to a B+.

perfume_angel

This is one of the most superior Tuberose scents. It’s creamy, spicy, warm and deep. Such a sexy fragrance and if the colour red had a scent, this would be it!

Aidafares

I have this perfume now and I adore it what’s making it different than other tuberose perfumes the unique spices and amber added to that perfume it’s amazing addictive I’m so happy I got it and I’m sad I got the 50 ml only

Moonshine_Strawberries

I’ve got a small amount of this on one arm and a small
amount of Prada La Femme Intense on the other to compare because to me they’re very similar. This has a bit of sharpness to it that I find sexy and would be very impressed to smell on someone else, but would probably get annoyed with after the first hour of smelling it on myself. Even if I didn’t slightly prefer the Prada Intense I’d still probably go with it anyway because you can get a FB for $45 on eBay.

richardjw

Tried this out at a boutique and ultimately decided to go with Supreme Bouquet instead. They are very similar, but I like the creaminess that SB just has on top. YMMV

ryoshiho97

I am deep in the perfumetok rabbit hole and the amount of influencers hyping this flanker just made me think I will like it. I was so excited that I blind bought a full bottle of it. However, it neither worked with my skin chemistry nor in heat and high humidity. Nobody was more disappointed than me when I discovered it's a nauseating tuberose scent. I live in a place where it’s hot and humid majority of the time. If it doesn't work with the heat, I'm getting rid of it a.k.a selling it..

Does it smell good? Yes. Quite frankly, smells better on paper. Does it smell elegant? Also, yes but in grandma way. My grandma used to wear a perfume that smells like this to church. I was hoping it would give more of an elegant and professional woman vibe. Oh well...

x.rina.x

To be honest, I'm really in love the tuberose note, but i'm very picky about it. But this fragrance is contained by f the small group of tuberose scents, which i feel magnificent.♡

🟥Armani Privé - Rouge Malachit🟥
The "Russian femme fatale"
& the "Classy foxy lady" or " Bond-girl"

This bold & yet also sofisticated fragrance has a well maded & blended contrast between its hot side, which is: truly foxy, seductive, voluptous, and also luxuriant and sumptous and its cool side which is: luxorious, elegant, classy and sophisticated. Plus at the same time it also has a subtile, dangerous, enigmatic and risk-taking so 'girl boss' temper.

I see in front of my eyes, a stunning, beautiful, magnetic, graceful, and rich russian women, who has foxy eyes - with alluring but mysteriously cunning gaze , black eyeliner, high noble cheekbones and with iconic classic red lips. She wears luxorious jewellries with a long red silk dress, high heals, and lace garter where she keeps her gun just like a russian spy women in a bond movie.

Perfect choice at spring, summer or early fall for elegant dates at (late)-nights.

Totaly chic! erotic & girl boss scent. ♡

Atina365

I tested it and I’m underwhelmed. It’s nothing special.

sunshine0101

Yes, it definitely has hints of Alien, and yes I still love it. Although every time I wear it, I think of Alien, but in saying that Alien is sharp and fizzy, and Rouge Malachite is base-y, warm and creamy. The top notes are ‘alien like’ but it starts to disappear as time goes by. It is a layered, complex scent and is designed to be a heavy wearer. As in, you cannot get unnoticed with it if you overdo it. Next I want to try Vert Malachite.

Rachelcerise

I absolutely love this sweet, slightly tropical creamy perfume. So very classy and sophisticated and you can wear it in any weather. Absolutely worth the price. Long lasting

orangelips11

This fragrance is absolutely gorgeous, but its leaning more feminine, there has lot of white floral and yellow floral scent,
very lovely very alluring, I can't stop sniffing myself when I wearing it, this one is a love for me.

Sreza7

Rouge Malachite is elegant and sophisticated. Not too loud and not too soft. I can smell it wafting around me all day. This is one of my favorite tuberose heavy scents. It’s so smooth and slightly creamy and blended very well. Nothing stands out more than the other. I’m so glad the pink pepper is not too heavy. I would love a full bottle but my samples will have to do.

tsubaki3031

At first spray, this reminded me immediately of Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus. Stayed that way for a couple of hours but diverged in the dry down. It’s like round 2 in the dry down, sillage amps up, when you waive your arms you smell it. When you’re standing in line to order your coffee you smell it. Beautiful somewhat creamy florals, coconut (not listed but I smelled it) amber and this intoxicating tuberose that borders between animalic and bubblegum comes out of no where because I didn’t smell it earlier. This is a long lasting perfume of high quality and blending so you’ll get your money’s worth. I do recommend if your longing for it, it’s incredible and lovely.

Gosh

I finally have a FB of this beauty. When it was widely available I didn't like white florals, but could wear heaviest rose ouds. Now I'm on a tuberose roll, it's so hard to find and I had to pay full price, but no regrets. Opulent white floral both jasmine and tuberose heavy but so classy with just enough sillage for classy lady. Slightly green and herbal in the opening and lovely amber in the drydown with the white florals always present and radiating. I can also smell the balsamic quality benzoin is adding. Heaven in a bottle. I wonder how it will smell in colder weather. I have both "dupes" DG and Alien fusion but RM is by far the best out of them. Alien is spicier and has better sillage but also is a bit screechy in the opening and cheaper smelling, bit too young as well and DG is way too sweet and coconutty. Also RM lasts longer. On clothes upto several days. As it should for the price.

iszzieanna

Starts off jarring and heady, similar to alien. Then goes in a different direction of greenery, creaminess and more rounded edges. It's an ultra creamy, green and soft tuberose compassed by white florals and amber. Gets more addicting after the dry down. Smells classy and elegant. Quite mature

Ceekel

Ok I'm not a follower so I have to be honest. I don't love this perfume. Too much hype over this. I was testing to see if this is full bottle worthy. It's a no for me. I have so many better smelling fragrances in my collection. Basic fragrance nothing special.

Sierra_b

You guys I loooooove this perfume soooooooo much, whenever I smell it on I fell head over heels it's that good 😭❤️.
Dear Mr Armani, please don't discontinue this miracle.

mommymilkers

White floral done so well. Deep and mysterious, and probably mass appealing. I lean more towards gourmands don't particularly like florals, but this one- omg so good. Probably because of the amber. My sister said this smelled like old ladies- but idc. This is the best from the Armani Prive line.

anfesema

Headache inducing unbearable tobacco.

saponista

On me this is an okay-ish dupe of Alien, without the weird edges I love so much (I have a vintage ~2007 bottle so no experience with the latest formulation). RM is rounder, prettier, more *refined* and *accessible* — none of which are really my thing. If you’re looking for a less edgy Alien absolutely try this.

I’m astonished at how close (and yet so far) this is: I get zero pink pepper and while I adore tuberose it just smells wrong here (probably because my nose wants / is expecting Alien). I’m glad I got a decant of RM before buying Alien Fusion (I haven’t yet been able to get a decant or sample of AF)) because not-quite-Alien is less pleasing than I had expected.

AlaskanAngel

Heavy on the tuberose. On my skin all I get is a rose floral fragrance with an unidentifiable sweetness. Typical sweet floral that's too sweet, too floral, and too loud. Lasts for what feels like an eternity. This was not made for me.

Review of spray sample that came free with purchase.

PS
As a lover of Alien I find absolutely no resemblance and question how this tuberose monster could even be associated with that exotic treasure.

Anchy426

Blindly bought a full bottle just because I heard reviewers compared it too the old Alien. I have it for almost a year and everytime I want to try wearing it I have to force myself. The similar notes are there but it doesn't have the vibe of Alien. Nice scent on somebody else probably but for me the tuberoze is just way to screatchy and the notes aren't blend harmoniously.

Keziah

Anyone in the us looking to get rid of their almost full100ml bottle, please message me. I want to get a bottle. Thank you

Gioia's secret

I have received a sample of Rouge Malachite from Armanibeauty and it smells like watered down Alien by Mugler. I think Alien smells way better than this one.

hollymichaelm

It took me a while to fully appreciate this fragrance, and now it is my signature. I have two full backup bottles because I can't imagine a life where I don't smell like this. Carnal, sexual, mysterious, indolic, feminine, divine. Its a perfect fragrance.

Fayetjie

This reminded me a bit of Narcisso Rouge but with more bite, not as soft or powdery. The Amber hits pretty strong for my nose like JHAG which I’m not a huge fan of for myself. A strong woman’s fragrance for sure, she is bold and feminine and powerful.

I wanted to love this but it just doesn’t work for me. I’m not sure what it is, but even one spray gives me a headache. I thought I loved Tuberose, but I think the triple dose of it in the fragrance may be what makes this a “no” for me. For those that do enjoy it, it does have great projection and longevity so that’s a plus!

Controlledbyscent31

Strong projection and longevity on my skin that's always the way when you don't like it 😐
I give it its dues in quality, but wow, this doesn't work on me at all.
On paper, it's lovely, super feminine, and very pretty.
But on my skin, it's a soapy, vintage, screechy, ylang, tuberose bomb. . .
I hate my skin sometimes; it doesn't tolerate strong white florals (which I love on paper) 😒

Lyric82

This is hands down, without a doubt, the most exquisite perfume I have ever smelled. It gives a very elegant and sophisticated vibe. I love how I feel when I wear this. It’s slightly sweet and tropical, but I don’t think it’s limited to a summertime perfume. I love the warm amber notes in it that offset the florals. It’s just absolutely gorgeous. It’s probably best suited to a nighttime event because it’s really special, but I want to feel like this woman all the time so I’m just going to wear it whenever I want.

squishfish

This will be an unpopular review but I will explain my experience regardless. I ordered this based off some many different reviews and I had extremely high hopes for this, even though I know I mostly do not get along with white floral scents. I first sampled this on a blotter and let it set, I smelt it multiple times over a couple of days. First impression, it was a no for me as I had a really strong hairspray scent at first sniff. I must say, this happens to me often with many white and yellow floral notes - it is a me problem as I know others do not experience this. I even made others around me smell the sample to sanity check myself and nobody else got hairspray from it.

After it settled the day after, I started to enjoy the scent - it was more mature than I would normally go for but it had a nice creamy, tropical floral vibe. I was starting to enjoy it. So, I decided it was time to give this a proper try and I applied it after a shower and got ready for the day. Firstly, I will say the silage is powerful and the lasting power on me was nearly eternal. This wasn't a good thing in my case as I gave myself a headache and the scent was overpowering me and not in a good way. I couldn't wait to get it off as all I could smell was super strong floral hairspray! Sad times, I know this won't be the experience of the masses but I wanted to share my honest review.

fformoso88

Hmm… I have a few samples of this… idk to me it starts very minty bubble gum then it’s just a skin scent on me with very low silage and projection. It’s a gorgeous fragrance don’t get me wrong but where is this fragrance on me for the price tag? I can’t justify it. It’s like a soapier, minty skin scent version of Alien but not as good as Alien as far as longevity, projection and silage go…. So meh. Lol I’ll keep going with my ride or die Alien.

Edit: I gave it another go and actually I really like this a lot! I don’t think I put enough on the first time. Anyways I think I want to get a full bottle. It’s a gorgeous Jasmine fragrance and I love Jasmine fragrances!

Update: I love this fragrance so much that I actually bought a full size. It’s gorgeous and the longevity and silage are there! I think the first sample I had went bad… idk but all I know is that I love this scent and I think if you love Alien by Mugler you will love this one too!

Lattafa Opulent Red ? ? ?

ckorp8

After purchasing Vert Malachite, I found out there is also Rouge Malachite. I kept looking for one and after a year, I finally found an available bottle. Maybe my expectation is too high but I prefer Vert to Rouge. They are both pretty similar but I guess I prefer lily over tuberose. And since they’re similar, owning one, you can also avoid the other.

stephania3000

I agree with everyone that said that The Only One Intense is a great alternative. The D&G had an added coconut in the first 20mins or so but after the dry down they are similar enough to not need both.

Hammyt100

This is a beautiful soft spicy white floral. The scent bubble that surrounds you with this is like a dream that lasts an entire day.

I don't overspray, even so this projected beautifully and left a soft scent trail behind me.

Got loads of compliments from people that don't normally comment on my fragrances because I'm always wearing one, and they collectively agreed "she always smells great".

But this evoked compliments and I couldn't be happier with it ❤️

Darkgarden

Note for self:
A beautiful white floral that lasts at lest 6 hours ( 9+ hours on fabric)
Very strong and radiates off the body nicely.
A delicious scent for a sexy date night.

Has a very old money elegance to it.

mariakok

Sophisticated jasmine tuberose, with a spiciness and deepness. However to me this is almost identical to Dolce & Gabbana's The only one intense so if you really like this but want to save some $$ I'd recommend the alternative

yeah__books

I’m not a big lover of Tuberose but have Do Son and then bought this. This is nicer, softer. I like it but it’s not sexy as some said. It’s kind of sweet and soft. You smell rich, if that’s what you’re after. Like a rich older woman.

komail

Save your money and get mugler alien.

Florencevaill

I was a little disappointed when I smelled it… I expected a very sexy fragrance but to my nose it was really far from being sexy… It smells good but definitely not sexy. I’m starting to like it a little bit more since at first it smelled very grandmaish

hannaadareilly

Stunning. This scent is a beautiful and strong as the bottle it is housed in.
What a beautiful creation. She is strong, independent, sweet, classy, classic, and fills a room with her intoxicating aroma as all eyes fall on her.
This reminds me a lot of my favourite CPW by bond. It has that ylang ylang and tuberose sweet, creamy thing going on.
This is sweeter though, it’s not a bubblegum tuberose but it’s still got an artificial sweetness to it, like your favourite sweetie. That’s only an undertone though, the stars of the show are the florals and powdery musk that coexist in perfect harmony together. You can literally pick up every listed ingredient in this. The result is a beautiful creamy floral.

Vannamae__

Too much hype for this. I bought a 3ml decant and I’m disappointed. I wanted to love it because I honestly wanted to add that nice red bottle to my collection but it’s so boring. It reminds me of alien or alien infusion and even though I’m over the alien phase of my fragrance journey (used to wear it a lot in middle school) I think that fragrance is way better than this and cheaper too. It also has so so performance, not bad but not great and again, alien performs way better. I would buy that again before I bought this. Worth a sample but I think these YT’s are hyping this up way too much. I’d rather have the scent of alien in this nice red bottle tbh.

Edemay

Update: I tried wearing it again
Literally smells like you walked into a bathroom where someone just took a dump and then sprayed some weak floral air freshener

MiaKlark

This is so beautiful!! It is amber and sweet spice and tuberose blended so beautifully together, and so warm and creamy. The tuberose isn't polarizing or obnoxiously white floral, but it's also not bubble gummy.
It is similar to alien fusion and the only one intense, Only i think alien fusion is more spicy amber while this focuses more on the tuberose, and the only one intense is somehow green but sweeter and with a bit of coconut pulling through.
I honestly don't know what else to say other than yes..if you're thinking about getting it, get it!

Laziza

Love this perfume! One of my signature scents. I’m very much into white flowers, have been all my life. This perfume is very sexy, very feminine and rich. I’d say it’s an evening perfume, for a beautiful dinner at a restaurant, or for a seductive date. But if you’re very careful with it, one little spray for a day would be good as well.

Siv7Stars

This is a spicier Dolce & Gabbana The Only One Intense but they v v similar, same sweet smoothness, D&G Intense being slightly sweeter maybe, same coconut note as Crystal Noir, not quite foody, but not sunscreen either, I think it's fresher n more like actual coconut than that. This is really beautiful, I was about to shell out for a bottle but I have noticed the back of my hand where I sprayed it is turning red.. I have never managed to be allergic to a scent before so I'm waiting to see what happens.. It's not itchy.. Waiting before I pull the trigger now..
Edit. Whatever it was went away so I've risked it, there was like three left on Selfridges site..
Another addendum: I needed cheering so have opened this up (was going to save for best but I don't know when a best is going to happen ever again) & drowned my sorrows in it today. No reactions & it is to die for! I want a massive bottle for xmas! Haha unlikely. Tuberose sprinkled with spice & creamily stirred.. Orange blossom usually jumps out n slaps me but here it does not! I love the coconut note. This is Crystal Noir turned up to eleven, with the extra smoothness of The Only One Intense. I love the marbled bottle & the magnetic box. I am being a child snapping it shut repeatedly like a clapper board. This is so good it's bit like when The White Queen in Narnia gave Edward a load of magic turkish delight & spoiled his taste for any other food.

_D.a.p.h.n.e_

White floral with something else that im not sure what it is. It's just a "meh" fragrance. The price makes it a "no"

Eleroy

It smells like Clarins post 2016 formulation of Alien but with more indolic jasmine and abysmal performance.

Sreza7

I have a small sample. Fresh, sweet and spicy tuberose. Animalic and camphorated. Really elegant but also reminds me of Tiger Balm in a way. It’s lovely but I wouldnt pay full price. I would just go for Alien Fusion.

Anteatereatingant

If this was 1/3 of the price, it would be a no-brainer. As it stands, though, I'd pass.

This is a very good tuberose perfume, with hints of jasmine. My immediate thought when I sprayed, was 'Do Son?'. It smells very similar to Diptyque's perfume - a strong, smooth, sweet tuberose that treads lightly on the more oily/animalic/skanky side of the flower. There was a slight splash of something zingy (which I discovered was pink pepper), but overall it was very similar to DS.

Then, a few minutes in, I started getting wafts of...Mugler's Alien? It definitely has a layer of jasmine in there as well - and the same type as in Alien. Not the oily/animalic/fecal one, but the more floral and sweet variety.

I can't say I smell the other notes (clary sage?!) - if they're there, they only serve to highlight the tuberose and jasmine. It's a well-blended and sophisticated perfume that oozes luxury. The performance is impressive: one single spray on my chest from about an hour ago, and I can still catch wafts of it - especially when I move. My nose isn't particularly sensitive, so this is really something.

If money is no object, I'd say go for it - especially if you've tried Do Son and liked it. If it is, just get Do Son - 90% similar, and considerably cheaper.

will.more

Not a blind buy. Either you will love it or you'll skip it. Performance is moderate
I like it

Edemay

Seriously..
This is the last time i listen to fragrance hype by perfume gurus
I paid $20 for a sample of this and I am so disappointed
This smells like Nuit de Tubereuse except this smells more like bug spray.
Theres a lot of spice, tuberose and its green and fresh.
It is soo weak, once it dries down I can only smell it if i press my nose to my skin, and only then can I get an alien vibe people have mentioned. But it really does not compare to Alien at all. This is like if they released a "fresh, green, spicy" alien flanker with zero staying power.
Really not worth it at all.

valelita

Really gorgeous fragrance. The opening is a tad vintage/old vibes for my liking, but the dry down is very nice. Sucks that they discontinued it.

Fuju

@Liljekonvall You can go to the Armani website and it will tell you that this has been discontinued.

ScentFan2021

This is absolutely gorgeous. It's blended so well. There's tuberose but not sharply done. Really stunning. A+

Liljekonvall

Rouge Malachite is NOT DISCUNTINUED!That is only rumors!

Scentedalterego

I tested this just before it got discontinued. It is said to be inspired by the scent of Russian women. Very creamy tuberose-jasmine-benzoin. A full bodied, heady, perfume, for women, not for girls. Has a bit of a vintage feel, but blended in a modern way. In my perception this is more classic than sexy, but white floral dominant scent always read that way to me. This whole line has a similar base, I think they used a more expensive cashmeran or something similar. Amazing performance.

Not my personal style, if anything I prefer Alien, but if you’re in the market for a more modern tuberose with good performance it might be worth it. The bottles are to die for. One of the prettier around these days.

simamelz819

This is nice and pretty but it makes me feel nauseous and gives me a headache. It makes me feel like I swallowed a spoonful of lotion... It's very thick and dense. Even if i only use a tiny amount it still feels too much. It might be because I wore Alien for years when I was a partying teenager and it's reminding me of that. Maybe I'm getting hangover flashbacks... either way it's just not for me. I feel like I can't breath when I wear it

Liljekonvall

Iris_iris it is NOT discontinued😎

perfumeshewrote

The opening of Rouge Malachite surprises me every time and, every time, I can't stop sniffing my arm repeatedly.
Rouge Malachite opens with a fresh and spicy pink pepper and a herbaceous and dry sage that also brings with it a touch of sweetness that will later join the tuberose.
The queen of the composition, the tuberose.

The most unique tuberose I have smelled in my entire obsessive compulsive journey in tuberose fragrances. It is sweet but not bubblegum, slightly waxy but not pungent, creamy.

Ten minutes later the composition becomes floral, the tuberose binds to the slightly green jasmine and ylang ylang. Then comes one of the few benzoin that doesn't make me annoyed because it's light and balsamic. The cashmeran serves to create the 'creamy' effect of the fragrance. I'm also very happy that I don't feel much orange blossom, just a pinch of animalic touch.

For the dydown this perfume reminds me of the cashmeran - amber combination of Alien Essence Absolue. They are not dupe but similar, but only in the drydown

signe v

This is what I imagine Venus smelling like when she arose from the sea foam. Soft, slightly animalic white florals on a base of amber. Very sensual, luscious and feminine. The best aphrodisiac!

Valerie7

If I had to choose to only keep one fragrance for the rest of my life, it would be Rouge Malachite! MY FAVORITE PERFUME, the greatest love of my (fragrance-) life and the most beautiful fragrance! This perfume is one of my most complimented perfumes and I totally can see why. This is an amazing spicy tuberose fragrance with a sexy and mystorious amber note in the base, which gives an intoxicated and rich touch to it. I have 2 back up bottles because I never wanna be without it. Performance on this perfume is perfect. Everything on Rouge Malachite is just perfection! I cannot describe what this fragrance means to me. This fragrance feels like me and is the fragrance I wore on every special occasion, like my birthdays, date nights or my first day at work as a teacher. Besides that it is one of my signature fragrances and my most worn fragrance.
It just fits me and my personality and makes me feel like a queen!

My dearest Rouge Malachite, you will forever remain the most beautiful scent to me and no fragrance in this world will take your place.

debra0503

This is good stuff, but not for me. I literally smell only the tuberose, and I don't enjoy it. For me, tuberose needs to be done in certain way (eg Givenchy l'interdit intense is one of my holy grail) , definitely not this way. it does give out an alien vibe, being such a heady white floral. I would say it is a grown-up, responsible and rich version of alien.

Funny story, I sprayed on an unlabeled sample this morning, and thinking, hmmm it smells so familiar, good with very strong presence but doesn't smell like me though .. and it took me an entire day to figure out it was actually Rough Malachite. At least it proved great longevity, since it lasted through shower. Then I started to feel great about decluttering it....

othai

Date night scent. A date with my husband who already knows everything about me and finds me sexy with or without the scent. But I wear it for myself to feel more sexy, he notices my confidence and he likes it

Ella7712

I like it but it's not as good as Vert malachite. A bit spicy, almost peppery in the opening which I'm not a fan of. Then the creamy florals kick in and it's lovely. Moderate performance. I don't detect much similarity to Alien.

Lithiumlilly

This is such a gorgeous rendering of a sweet natural jasmine, the way it smells on a really hot evening.
To me this is the perfect creamy sweet summer scent.
I keep sniffing my wrists, and love the way it lingers on on my clothing.
I do see similarities between this and Alien, but this is much softer and more everyday safe.
(Don't get me wrong; I love them both)
Rouge Malachite is my favorite scent this summer!

alexandrinemontcroix

I have Alien and would personally not compare these two. I find Alien more sensual, seductive and sharp whereas Rouge Malachite is softer and more velvety.

I adooooore the tuberose and slight menthol-y note maybe from the clary sage?

One spray was enough and it lasted fairly moderate on me. Will definitely add a bottle to my collection asap!

Vickalicious

I certainly see the resemblance to Alien in this one, but for those who struggle with Alien I find this one easier to wear. I was shocked by how mass-appealing this one is. The dry down reminds me a lot of the dry down of CH Good Girl (the openings are very different). I like this, but I feel it's priced too high for what it is. Stunning bottle, but even with that the price tag is a bit absurd.

Sreza7

I’m not sure about this one, mainly because this is not really my style. This is a spicy tuberose, alittle soapy, alittle animalic, and it reminds me of alien, a perfume I have already outgrown. Alien is actually better than this. This doesn’t even last that long. 1 hour and it’s a skin scent. Not worth the high price tag IMO.

Ok my opinion has changed. It’s really growing on me. I love to wear it but i still don’t think it’s worth the price.

jaelhb0

Rouge Malachite... (sigh). I discovered this fragrance at the Armani Prive counter around the time it launched. The lovely sales associate gave me a sample to take home based on the description of my signature scent, which was Alien at the time. I liked this! It reminded me of Alien somehow but they traveled down different paths. I know people get offended at this comparison but there IS an undeniable similarity. They're not the same...yes we know!🙂

After years of becoming familiar with this fragrance, my fondness just never quite grew into a love and I don't think it ever will. This is a just a solid "like". The opening for me is a bit rough. There's a blast of peppercorn and sage that persists until the dry down. For this reason I just cannot love this fragrance. I've always thought something about this perfume was off and it could be my chemistry, my perception. I do like the creamy tuberose + sunscreen-y element in the dry down, but sadly they're overpowered by the sage. It's like the top notes never wear off.

Before discovering this fragrance, I'd never come across a tuberose I considered wearing. So, because of Rouge Malachite I've continued to try different tuberose fragrances in hopes of finding the perfect one for me. I've since found my perfect tuberose and I can gladly say I'm free from having to hunt down a bottle of this now-discontinued Rouge Malachite.

EDIT 3/13/22: This fragrance is not discontinued. I live in the US and although it's difficult to find in stores, a sales associate confirmed it's not discontinued.
My husband loves this perfume so much on me, so I decided to purchase a full bottle during a special sale promo at Bergdorf's.

P-Nay

Madame Rouge Malachite is a Very voluptuous fragrance. Mysterious, intoxicating and powerful, yet, feminine & floral with some animalic touches to it. Appropriate for day and night and last a long time on my skin. Very adaptable, works in any situation, many occasions. Not limited to one season, but spring-fall would be most suitable for me in my sincere assumption. Something about Rouge Malachite reminds me of Alien (Does Not smell LIKE But smells SIMILAR) which is my all time favorite fragrance! It's the jasmine for me! But either way, this is a new love to my perfume repertoire!

Adiam

The words that come to mind when wearing this; opulence, tropical, floral, seduction. An ethereal fragrance for spring and summer grown-up occasions. The spiced-floral opening seems very personal, while the creamy floral dry-down invites others to join in. I can see how some people may draw similarities to Alien, based on the shared jasmine sambac and amber qualities. However, there is a gentle depth and structured note placement that Alien completely lacks, in addition to the ability to project well while being soft as Rouge Malachite does so effortlessly.
Projection is dependent upon the weather on my skin; the warmer it is, the more it projects. It last through the night on my skin as well, becoming a skin scent the next morning.

I am curious to buy D&G The Only One Intense to see if there truly are ample similarities, given that RM will be discontinued in the US; I still bought a backup of RM though 😬. I'm falling more in love with this scent the more I wear it and spend time with it. 🌺

Update/Edit: I have bought two back-up bottles of this. There is nothing on the market that compares to this blend of creamy tuberose and jasmine; I want to smell like this forever.

paxloo

This scent is really enjoyable. I don't wear it everyday but save it for those "get to me know-come closer-let's cuddle" type of night. On me, the pepper is the strongest on the first spray then comes the jasmine and the creamy cashmere that makes me happy. It is a bit reminiscent of Alien but has a longer lasting power (at least compared to the newer just Mugler brand). Overall, I'm happy to have this in my collection but if I run out I probably won't purchase a bottle right away.

pinkstate

If you have Alien you don't need Rouge Malachite. I love them both but they are very similar, Rouge Malachite is smoother.

HeavenlyBreezes

Did I miss it? I did not see anyone mention how much this smells like the original Dolce&Gabbana Dolce&Gabbana. For me they are so close that this does not smell original.

happygoslutty

I blind bought this bc I heard it was going to be discontinued in the states. It was one of the better choices I made this year! It’s very beautiful. I don’t get the pink pepper on me but a very creamy blend of flowers. I get more Jasmine than tuberose with a hint of a sunscreen in the background. There’s something sweet about this to me the more I smell it. It’s like an airy sweetness that BR540 has but this doesn’t smell like it at all just how the sweetness in that fragrance has an airy quality to it.

Nessa60

I love this rich floral tuberose scent. It looks like it is being discontinued on the Armani site.Looks like I may have to get a backup.

LovelyLifestyle

Incredible fragrance when it comes to composition and quality.
This is a classic crisp white floral fragrance.
The florals are fresh out of the dryer clean (any cleaner and it would be soapy).

But this is not for me. I prefer things that are sweeter, or spicier.

All I get is tuberose with a little amber in the base. This also makes it a little too simple for my taste.
The fact that I wouldn't buy a bottle, but can still admire the craftsmanship, goes to show you how beautiful this fragrance really is.
If you like clean, white florals, this is the best one I have ever got my nose on.

jiani

@Hollie1998 It is available in most EU/UK webshops even on the official Armani webshop

AquaBaby5

@Latetothescene, maybe it isn’t discontinued in Europe or elsewhere but on the Armani website in the US it says it is, along with Vert. All the department stores are also out of stock or have been back ordered for several months (no more shipments).

I personally like Rouge Malachite better than all of the “this smells like” options below. I love pink pepper and sage in nearly any perfume and that’s likely why. I grabbed a bottle of an older batch code (2016) and it’s got good staying power. But I’m still on a back order list at Neimans just in case. Truly a signature worthy fragrance, it’s more versatile than any of the Alien scents that I agree are similar but it does not smell synthetic like those do, but I think that’s part of their own appeal.

Edit: pained me to do so but I decluttered my bottle as my husband absolutely hated it every time I wore it. It has a date night feel but since wasn’t good for those kinda nights for me personally, wasn’t worth holding on to. I stand by the fact this is better than Alien, but for some reason hubs liked it more. Probably the reason I like RM (sage and pepper) is the same reason he does not.

anncka

On my skin this turns sooooo creamy! I couldn't believe it. I was expecting spiciness from sage and pink pepper, but got an incredibly smooth and well rounded creamy tuberose. I love it! It's an amazing scent, worth the hype and every penny.

Ang.gom

It makes you feel like a sexy beast!

Dramaloladiva

This is the most beautiful, innocent, intense, savage, regal, impossible to ignore fragrance E•V•E•R created!

Rouge Malachite is on a league of its own, it’s a classic, it’s iconic and it’s at the very top of my (very modest) collection!!

When I wear it, I feel like royalty but more like an approachable princess. In fact, this fragrance reminds me of Princess Mauatua in the movie The Bounty (1984) with Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins. In this period movie (taking place in the 18th century) Mel Gibson plays a young Fletcher Christian and Anthony Hopkins plays Captain Bligh. They embark on a sea voyage to Tahiti on a boat called the Bounty. Long story short, Fletcher falls in love with the Tahitian princess (Mauatua) and when it’s time to leave, he cannot endure it and leads a revolt, takes over command of the boat and goes back to his princess.
It’s a magical movie, the music by Vangelis is transporting and the acting is phenomenal. There’s even a young Liam Neeson in there!!!
Ok, I apologize, I am not here to give a review on the movie but Rouge Malachite is to me, what Princess Mauatua must have smelled like. She is innocent, beautiful as the sunshine, gentle and warm but regal and royal as well. She is the representation of what that scent is...unforgettable...
The Tuberose is, of course, the dominant force and since it’s a tropical flower, I cannot help but being reminded of a far away Princess. But the Clary Sage and Pink Pepper add a certain vivacity to this fragrance and the entire blend is pure magic. Like falling in love for the very first time...

Rouge Malachite is probably the best seller in the Armani Privé Collection. I owned only just a couple others (Rose d’Arabie and Pivoine Suzhou) but Rouge Malachite is, in my opinion, worthy of several backup bottles!!
Especially if it’s being discontinued (???)...

Josie_xo

Such a dreamy scent. I get a lot of pepper! And then jasmine.

Spiria88

This is an amazing, sexy and seductive tuberose concoction and one of my favourite female-leaning fragrances, ever. It has similarities to Alien. However, Alien is more in your face and has a rather strong jasmine note, whereas Rouge Malachite is rounded, effortless and tame.

lzak

Well, after falling in love with my sample, I was about to order a bottle from Neiman Marcus. I had second thoughts and I blind bought some Alien Fusion, which is supposed to have a similar vibe. I am sure I will like it since I am a big Alien fan.
HOWEVER, I couldn’t resist this most beautiful Tuberose ever, and it is such a smooth fragrance, I ended up buying it. I will treasure this. Not sure if it is discontinued or not, or just discontinued in the US!?!?

Hollie1998

I wish I could find this somewhere in the UK 😞

Dryasiulia

FWIW this is still available at Neiman Marcus~

For people that love/like OG Alien this might smell very different. However, for people that don’t really like Alien, this is just a $300 Alien. It’s not even an alien with any tuberose on my skin....it’s actually like they amped the parts of Alien I like the least and made it even more screechy~

Edited to add: Irrelevant if you like or don't like Alien, this is VERY CLOSE TO ALIEN. Smelling things are subjective and everyone should wear what makes them happy; but please note that when there are only minor differences between two things then that means they are ALIKE <3

Liljekonvall

So sad that we cant buy this anymore😭

Rotten Rebel

Did a review of this beautiful perfume a couple of days ago on my youtube channel "Rotten Rebel."

Rouge Malachite is a true beauty. To me it's a composition that is being dominated by florals, specifically Jasmine and tuberose. Both of these feel a bit subdued and diffused, which is a good thing as they don't feel sharp or harsh in any way.

It's a sensual, sexy and simply beautiful perfume that I really recommend to anyone who likes "floral" perfumes. It's a perfume that is insanely attractive on a woman, but I feel that the right man can pull it off as well, as I love it myself and received a lot of positive reactions from it!

hsiangchi.huang

A soft, elegant, feminine, round and gentle white floral fragrance. It's similar but slightly more superior than its cousin vert (green) imo.

Annata

I don’t understand why is this fragrance compared to Alien?? Alien is a very strong scent, it’s sexy but a little bit boring, it doesn’t smell clean, it’s smells dirty. In the other hand RM is a very beautiful, sexy, clean, warm, sweet scent. Its smells divine, you are amazed by this scent. People asking what kind of perfume is, where can they buy, how beautiful you smell. Very sensual scent, and after every use you fall in love more and more.

Revontuli

I have been craving this beauty for two years now and I finally have it. But I remember this to be much sweeter on my skin with a burst of tuberose whereas now, during the first half an hour or so, I detect some smokiness! That's nothing negative at all but quite unexpected. The smokiness doesn't dominate the sweetness of tuberose, though. This is definitely one of my favourite perfumes in the whole Armani Privé line. Sensual yet sexy.

Dufteren

The red one in the Armani Prive collection is a decent scent, a restraint elegant white foral with red pepper. But as a blind buy based on hyped reviews I am surprised that it is not more unique, given it being a niche with a hefty price tag. Don’t get me wrong, it is beautiful and classy, but lacked that wow effect that I was expecting, and for that price I want a wow. I don’t agree that this is a beast mode, far from it, neither is particularly long lasting. Now if this was a designer perfume, I would probably buy it again, but for this amount of money I would rather buy Carnal flower, or save me the money and get an alien. I think this is so popular because it is a very nice and safe white floral.
