A darker, more mysterious blue fragrance. I like the idea of a sort of twilight blue scent where darker elements like leather bring a normally boring fresh blue scent profile into a space where it could be worn with a leather jacket. Tragically, Bleu Astral is one of the worst performing fragrances in my 40+ bottle collection. You can douse yourself in this and it still won't approach the strength of 2 sprays of a normally performing fragrance. For this reason I rarely wear it, but when I do wear it I overspray. Bois Arctic is essentially a better version of this with some menthol to add a cooling effect. Presentation-wise, I find this bottle to be particularly nice. The blue coloured glass on the already iconic Issey bottle design with its brushed texture is very eye catching. Whoever designs these bottles is very good at their job.

Flavorblade

Artisan Pure is the one that smells like 4 star hotel cleaner, not Blu Astral on typical skin (retort to a below comment). This is a quality blue scent that expresses uniqueness by drying down to an all seasons leather. The opening is citrus, lite spice, and somewhat metallic. If you like leather in the winter and fall you will appreciate the ability to play all year including summer nights in this mild version. Jimmy Cho has something along this line Urban Hero, but Blue Astral has solid performance with four sprays.

guardLK

Toilet bowl cleaner. The citrus in this is of such low quality, it feels like I’m wearing Mr. Clean.

monte69j

It's actually a nice one from issey.
Its Dirty citrusy.
different from other blue scents.
It is fresh but in a different way. maybe because of leather and amberwood it has a more mature vibe than the other fresh citrusy scents around.
I enjoy it, hope you gonna enjoy it too.

C_Fraydrances

Certainly a unique fragrance with less than desirable performance. Dries down to a sweaty sex accord on my skin, so maybe an aphrodisiac for close encounters. I kind of dig it.

LOST_BOY

Issey Miyake with this scent have combined really something special . It is in Nuit line and it is for a good reason there. Blue Astral reaching full potency during warm months , summer night makes this fragrance huge compliment gather ! Projection isnt massive but you can have this in combination with Issey's Intense ... they make huge sillage and project for hours !! Cardamom makes dark vibe but still very pleasent + intense where is benzoin and you have combination that lasts 8 hours and it makes .... just try and you will see ! I like how this same fragrance works during hot summer days ( without Intense ) , it is uniqe scent and people reacton is always in good way .
Issey Miyake havent failed even if projection by some people isnt great couse in the end this is blue fragrance with his own twist and in same time great sommer night scent which is done in Isseys way , and that makes him great and memorable ! Big like from me 👍

I have to agree with the guys below. if this frag had some power and longevity it would have been a great bomb in the market. the scent itself is very nice and quite different from mainstream frags, especiallu blue ones. the versatility is very good on this one, just needed a little umph..

zebra782

I have Goutal Bois D'Hadrien and I imagine it smelling close to this.

JasKiew

This is very appealing to the mass actually. It's the blue scent for Issey. This has BDC as dna/vibe. Definitely there. So it's definitely gonna smell nice. Just weak in projection, Silage and longetivy. It doesn't last, Defo need to respray after 3-4hrs. This IM Bleu is different from the rest of the line. The name Bleu is there for. Reason. It's their own Bleu range supposingly for the masses but didn't really got too popular. But it's a good smelling frag and hard to get a dislike.

SkyZippr

A fresh, woody and smoky fragrance. Honestly I didn't quite like it at first because I felt the leather note is too dominant, but then it suddenly clicked with me one day. It smells really nice on a cool rainy day. In my case, spraying it on the back of my neck tempers the smokiness of leather a little bit, and brings out the fruitiness in the citrus.

Trendkill97

Perfect for rainy weather, when the wind is slightly cold, so aptly matches the whole vibe of this scent. This is very pleasant, smooth, lime, with cold coriander blended with some sweet creamy woodiness from the amber wood, the leather is light and it's a very casual clean take on the note. The initial spray has a certain Sichuan pepper type of spice which lasts for a very short while, reminded me of Noir Anthracite by Tom Ford's opening, in the far dry down this gives BdC Parfum vibes, also reminiscent of CK In2U for men throughout. Performance isn't all that great, average at best wish it did better. But overall, a very versatile easy, inoffensive well made quality scent from Issey, an oddball in the Nuit D'Issey line. 7/10

LOL - who put a magazine advertising insert as the main image here?- No no no- we don't do that here. This is worse than including the box in the profile image.

Who is the perfumer been trying so hard to determine it.

Issey Miyake (IM) have such amazing fragrances in their Homme and Nuit Homme lines that it is easy to pass on the flankers that aren't as daring (recall the florals in the original) or intense.

Astral fits in to the Nuit line by offering sweet lime and soft fresh woods for a casual and playful experience. Less serious than those that came before, the herbal freshness in this provides a great balance to the sweet lime while the leather and soft woods keep the whole thing grounded and comfortable. It performs really well as most IM fragrances do on my skin and will be my most worn out of the IM fragrances I own because it's office and family friendly.

Wifey compliments me almost every time and I really enjoy it too. In my collection, this is has the same vibe as Azzaro Chrome Pure but way more interesting, and Bvlgari Wood Essence but more gentle.

This would get lost in freezing temperatures and winter weather but other than that... day or night, Bleu Astral can fit any occasion. A very versatile and beautiful fragrance.

Bear Claws

Dirty Blue Leather, its a very odd pairing for a fragrance, it has some freshness up top but then it hits you with heavy dark tones right after, may not be as easy to process for casual noses, this is def not your typical casual daytime blue or freshie. Ive come to appreciate it for what it is but it wasnt a love or even a like at the beginning.

skaccomatto

Blue Astral opens with some fresh sparkling lime on top of a dark green bed of coriander, which becomes more evident as the scent goes into the mid and drydown, along with very generic fuzzy woody notes (might be cashmeran?) which are nothing incredibly unexpected or uncommon. I don't smell any leather but, even with the lime fizzing on your skin, there are some darker nuances which make Blue Astral kind of suitable for summer evenings too.

I like the clean, refreshing quality of this juice, which is nicely constructed in its simplicity. Its achille's heel though is the performance, really poor in terms of longevity - after 3 hours or so it's gone, and you'll get a very faint synthetic woody note surviving on your skin for quite some time more. Easily found at discounters, Blue Astral is really hard to dislike, and is as easy to wear, making it the perfect dumb-reach summer fragrance when longevity is not a requirement.

My iconic Issey Miyake bottle in an elegant electric blue coloration bears the 9185BM batch code from July 2019. Like.

tecfield

The opening is like lemon/lime candy -- smells like edible. But once that is passed it settles down to a nice subtle amber woody scent. The issue is it is a skin scent in like 20 mins and it is gone in like 1-2 hrs.
Probably the worst IM fragrance I have ever seen. You literally need to shower in this to get a moderate silage and longevity. On top of that, this is a very generic and forgettable fragrance. No one would notice it because of its poor performance and if you manage to do it, it has now wow factor in it. You can safely ignore this and try something better. The way this one performs is kind of shocking to me but after trying 2 different bottles I am sure it is the fragrance itself.

aqua_de_la_vita

It's nice to come across a Issey Miyake where the DNA is nothing like the orginal with yuzu note in it.
I normally would see what's new in the market, but I personally found most them nothing that would WOW 😕 me.
I decided to make a blind purchase and I was more than happy about Issey Miyake Nuit d'Issey Bleu Astral.
At first spray, there's a definite sweet/ tropical fruity combo from lime/amberwood notes. The other two notes with coriander and leather gives this juice a sold summertime great vib. You want wear it everytime you go out day or night.
Longevity and Sillage is perfect for the summer. You'll get a good 3-5hrs and just enough for someone to know you're wearing an interesting cologne. They'll never know it's a Issey.
Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to give this juice two thumbs-up 👍👍.
I'm going to buy another bottle of this stuff. As everyone knows they'll disco the product and it'll cost you 2x more. A GREAT summer vib cologne..7/10

isakasyv

Imagine a piercing lime note with woods and a leathery backbone, thats what you get from this. Its longivity is lacking but i like to use it before i go to bed.

Konium

Basic fresh scent with hints of woody notes, nothing amazing.
Performance is very poor. In an 1hr or less it's all gone.
Silage is zero to none. No scent trail, no projection whatsoever.
So disappointed in the performance, might as well pour out the entire bottle and get it over and done with.

Dcbf69

Getting a strong Guerlian vetiver vibe off this.
Versatile but personally see this more of a summer evening scent.

Aarhus

This is my favorite Miyake by far.. This is the scent of summer nights by the pool, the beach or at the beach bar in hot summer greek island hotels. Classy, leatherlike, with some amazing limelike notes , that goes along great with Ouzo, grilled meat and oily women <3

Supernova89

It's quite interesting in the opening. It is fresh and dark at the same time. I really like it.

Evenfragrance

Ooo! Dark green and woody, tobacco and spice. Strong smelling fades in the dry down to reveal more musk. Exciting, but not overpowering. A smokey quality which I love.

Delosisles

Really good. Unique. The herbaceous elements stand out. I like it a lot.

Ja85

An earthy and fresh fragrance despite the “bleu” factor which luckily doesn’t resemble the repetitive boring blue factor in aquatic fragrances. This fragrance is more earthy and very minimally aquatic.
I don’t think it’s as cliche as some reviewers are claiming but yes, it’s not as groundbreaking as the original l’eau d’issey.
I personally wouldn’t wear it to special occasions but would definitely recommend it as a daily work/office fragrance. Performance and sillage are solid. To be honest, there are better issey miyake fragrances out there.

abahvdbs

Nuit d'Issey Bleu Astral by Issey Miyake smells like SWIMMING POOL WATER, AIRY FRESH-CLEAN LIGHT MARINE-BLEU-AQUATIC (A MORE MATURE BLEU FRAG)

the first couple of minutes of the opening reminds be of CK Eternity for Men, that soapy barbershop scent just not as bold or floral as Eternity so it's slightly shower-gelly then turns very blue/bleu aquatic just like your average mass production blue/bleu aquatic but without the bubblegum or fruity sweetness, only slight sweetness comes from the lime (w/ slight zest) and amberwood (similar to YSL Y amberwood);
Nuit d'Issey Bleu Astral has a swimming pool blue/bleu aquatic vibe to it, it's clean fresh with a hint of sweetness and salty spiciness (probably the Coriander), when it dries down the leather shines through real nice, it's not a loud leather note but bold enough to be noticed and add some complexity and depth and blends very well never overpowering the fresh clean aquatic bleu/blue water accord, the leather and lime note sets Bleu Astral apart from your basic bleu/blue frags;
not a loud or beast projection frag, definitely "mass appealing" "safe" fragrance and can garner likes from those in-close, won't offend anyone and can't be over-sprayed; very versatile masculine fragrance, can be worn for gym office/business or casual day or night-time use, best suited for Spring or Summer, ages 24+; kind of reminds me of TB Maritime Deep Blue;

* Issey Miyake (IM) is one of my favorite fragrance brands because they're not scared to be different... with that being said, Nuit d'Issey Bleu Astral is imo a good smelling and safe fragrance. Sure majority IM fragrances have more complexity & depth and aren't consider 'trendy' except for L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme (a warm weather classic), and with Nuit d'Issey Bleu Astral IM got back to being 'trendy' and 'mass appealing'.

Projection/Sillage: DECENT, good 'scent bubble' for about 1-2 hours then turn to a more in-close scent the more it dries.

Performance/Longevity: DECENT, will last on avg about 3-5 hours

Bear Claws

This is a very very dark citrus. Do not be fooled by its "Blue" naming or color, this is not your typical blue or freshie cologne, it has very dark earthy dirty and smoky incense notes that will pop soon after the opening faded, dont think this is appropriate for summer or even warm spring, with that said I do think its decent and interesting perfume, will satisfy some acquired tastes as long as you know what you're getting yourself into.

AMajeedQT

Airy citrus.

Bleu Astral is a citrus scent first, made up of lime, and turned light and airy with creamy ambroxan. The coriander, along with the less noticeable wood and leather, add a certain green woody-spicy depth and character to the fragrance, beautifying it even more without turning it heavy.

This is one of the best ambroxan utilization I've encountered so far.

A beautiful, light, and easy wear for warmer weather. Suits all ages but leans towards the youngish crowd more.

Well done Issey! Another beautiful creation from a really underrated house.

Scenthusiasm

I bought this fragrance almost 1 year ago and i’ve had the chance to try it in different occasions. It did not perform well in colder months, clearly a spring/summer fragrance and leans more towards daytime imo.

I think it’s an appropriate choice if you’re looking for a cheap and “dumb reach” fragrance which will not offend anybody. It has average longevity and projection.

trm1984

Hmmm I thought I would like this more than I do. I've been wearing it for a few hours trying to decide what I truly think about it and I can honestly say I'm not sure. While there are plenty of facets to this I do like, there is something in this that rubs me the wrong way and gives me a cheap 1990s vibe. If I'm being perfectly honest, this reminds me as if Bleu de Chanel, Eternity for Men, and Dylan Blue got all mixed together. While Dylan Blue and Bleu de Chanel are more refined than Bleu Astral, the resemblance to Eternity is what I smell in the dry down. Others have mentioned a similarity to Givenchy Gentlemen Only and I can also see that. The thing is, these are all fragrances I like (I own BDC and used to own Eternity and I have considered buying Dylan Blue) but I think these fragrances all do this genre better than Bleu Astral does. The opening note of Bleu Astral is very nice, a nice citrus woody note, this quickly subsides into the amberwood, and spices and I can actually detect the presence of the leather but it's a dirty used, earthy leather....others have said that this fragrance has a dirty vibe. I can see what they mean, it definitely has a roughness to it. I think there is a lot of ambroxan in this as well, as it has that "fuzzy scratchy" vibe to it. I'm still getting my thoughts settled on this, there are things I like about it, but also things that I dislike about it. I also feel like this has the potential to smell like a "cheap masculine body spray" in fact, I am pretty sure Axe has a spray that closely resembles this scent without intentionally trying to copy it. I'll have to wear this for a few days to see my final thoughts. I will say that longevity is not good, either that or I become very anosmic to this.

OntheMark

LOVE the opening lime blast. For me, it's an almost photo-realistic melange of lime fruit and zest that positively sparkles. If this were it, I'd be just fine with Bleu Astral, but it unfortunately evolves from there...

Fifteen minutes later, a semi-dirty vetiver/leather-ish kind of accord kicks in, muddying the whole affair in a way that I just don't understand. It's like it's trying to somehow be both Guerlain Vetiver and Nuit D'Issey all at once, but achieving neither goal with any real success. Not that it's terrible in any way, but it just doesn't mesh well.

In the dry down, I get less leather (thankfully!) and more of a very generic light blue-esque combination of citrus and amberwood that by this time is quite subdued and although pleasant enough, is lacking in either its former brightness or enough punch to announce itself as legitimately woody. It's just... there. Barely.

Nice enough, but like just too many other Issey Miyake's veritable army of irrelevant flankers, it straddles too many discordant styles to define itself well. As such, whatever style of scent you're looking for, you'll likely find more desirable options out there.

Yeoubi

Do not blind-buy this. I normally try to do a lot of research in fragrances I am interested in, but I guess I did not do enough. This scent was really disappointing to me. Nothing bleu or reminiscent of a starry sky at all. Instead, there is this dirty earthiness of dirt, like a dirty vetiver almost. It lasts throughout the entire life of the scent, only mixed slightly with the citrus, but that lasts all but a couple minutes. Would not recommend this to anyone interested.

It has average performance, lasting 4+ hours on my skin. But I wanted to wash it off within the first hour. Not the worst scent, but not a scent I like. I live and grew up in the PnW and this has nothing to remind me of the outside nature or a starry night. Could see where some people may like it, others can have different interpretations of what nature at night can smell like, this was not it for me.

Longevity: 6.5/10
Projection: 6/10
Scent: 4/10 (Dislike)

YekenLarroche

Safe citrus with a spicy dry down. I was expecting more of the OG DNA but didn't find much. Kind of a Nautica Voyage less sweety.

Worth the price for an all rounder and that's about it.

jayo4K

I was super excited to try this, as I'm a huge fan of the original Nuit d'Issey, but ultimately I was let down. The lime in the opening is pretty nice, but it lasts all of about one minute. Then it starts to smell pretty earthy, almost dirty, like soil. The composition just smells flat and overall pretty messy and not well blended.

Longevity is well below average, as I sprayed this only about 2 hours ago and can barely smell it, even when I stick my nose right up against my skin. During the 2 hours, I also barely got any whiffs of it, so the sillage is pretty bad too.

I definitely can smell some of the original Nuit d'Issey lurking somewhere behind the dirtiness, but overall this is a swing and a miss for me.

Overall 5/10

UPDATE:
Wore this a few more times and really sprayed a lot. I still don't really smell it on myself very much, but got a few random whiffs throughout the day. The one thing that surprised me though, was that about an hour after I put it on, my wife said "what are you wearing?". And my wife very rarely acknowledges what I'm wearing, and only asks this if she loves or hates the fragrance . It turns out she loved it. She's also a big fan of the original Nuit, so I think that's why.

I have come to appreciate this one more over the last few weeks, as it's been kind of a dumb reach when I don't know what else to wear. I do have to spray about 8-10 times though for it to last at all, but I'm slowly coming around on this one.

Overall 6.5/10

LeaveU

I sniffed this few times in showroom... Nothing special so it dropped in my shooping list. Then I decided is time to Test on my skin but there was no skin left after trying few others so... I used a corner of my shirt, not skin but good enough to find out what is tha base of this fragrance.
After few hours I remembered and checked it out, well.. Mostly ambroxan, maybe with some hints of other "molecules"...I tested Essential's mollecules for a while in order to identify those synthetics everybody was talking about.
Infact, this 95% (at least) identical ( to Molecule 2) drydown AND behavior (first sniff you smell it, second so and so, third nothibg's there, etc) made me buy it since I had a good deal with a tester...

Is it a notable fragrance itself? Not really. You could skip it and do not miss anything.
It is nice to have and use? Yep,. It is a nice fragrance, nothong groundbreakig, a rather sweet lime if that is possible in the opening(few minutes then is very discrete), nice warm-sweety coriander AND few nother notes (not listed imho) plus that ambroxan becoming more and more obvious as the rest of ingredients fade away... Slinght leathery and even lesser woody notes to the end of it...

Worth 25-30$ I spent for 125ml, for me a cheaper replacement for times I feel like I want to play with molecules.

Kinggeebee

Enigmatic, etherial, regal.
Lasts the whole day on my skin. Lime, wood and leather in equal measure.

Smells great.

gonomon

This smells about 70% like Nuit d'issey, so if you own that fragrance remove that incense smell from it and add some citrusy freshness and you will get this fragrance.
The idea is, basically Nuit d'issey was too heavy in terms of smell for some. They probably wanted to keep the same smell but balance it with removing harsh side adding mainstream freshness. And when i say mainstream freshness you probably thought it was going to be bergamot but noooo its lime because it should have that crazy twist that most of the issey miyakes has.
This perfume smells totally like lime + dry soil and i can imagine using it on all occasions minus hot summer days. Even if this will be fine for all occasions i can really recommend you something better for special occasions (clubbing, dates etc.). My final verdict is if you don't like crazy twists in perfumes but still want to experience nuit d'issey line, go with this one.
TL;DR: versatile, mainstreamish nuit d'issey flanker.

DrNDJas

Bleu Astral is Issey Miyake’s most ‘mainstream’ scent DNA outside of the Majeure line. There is little similarity to the OG, Bleu, or Intense- it definitely goes its own way. As a flanker of Nuit d’Issey, it has the similar citrus and leather over a woody base. The opening is quite mesmerizing. It’s the same coriander and lime combination that is so incredible in Austral Expedition- indeed, these two are the closest relatives in the Miyake lineup. Bleu Astral becomes more “cologney” in the drydown, modernly masculine and spicy fresh. I might add that the bottle is a thing of beauty- the deep, transparent, dark glowing blue color truly reflects the scent profile inside. Overall, this is a very nice smelling fragrance and is easy to wear for most all occasions and seasons. If you would like something similar in style to other “Bleu” fragrances but overlaid with some beautiful, amazing notes, give Astral a try.

Przem

A blind buy due to suggested reference to my favorite Givenchy pour homme. Unfortunately this is not the case. This is an uninspiring woodiness going nowhere. There is also some unpleasant soapiness in it at some stage. Other than that I can see some similarity to Issey Miyake Intense which I truly hate.
The sad thing is that I love Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey and this is the DNA I expected to find in Bleu Astral and Intense. The bigger the disappointment is.
I am afraid this is my last adventure with this brand.

My5Scents

I do normally enjoy Issey Miyake fragrances but this one I found a little underwheming. The combination of lime and woods is perfectly amenable, but unremarkable, and longevity is disappointing. I was hoping for the “Bleu Astral” element to invoke something exciting, cosmic or mystical but this eluded me. What we end up with is a safe all rounder that is quite pleasant and won’t offend anyone.

Zerguuu

Tested, amazed, buyed lasted 12+ on skin! I totally recommend this one!!! Bb if u can

Vapor Trail

Versatile everyday fragrance despite the "Nuit" in the title.

The opening is classic Issey Miyake: a strong citrus supported by a woody note. Soon after, though, it evolves into something much more relaxing and sophisticated. The amberwood is dominant but smooth. I would say that the fragrance description is accurate in this regard.

The sillage is not as strong for me as the votes would suggest, but I just love how this fragrance develops. Fresh enough to wear in the day, alluring enough for nighttime. Also dumb-grab worthy across most seasons.

biff2

I'd enlist this into the 'escapism' category of scents. It's the type of juice that helps you forget about where you are and who you are. This is suppose to evoke a diamond canopy and with the Woody edge this carries, everytime I smell it I think of camp fires, the forest at night, running rivers, vast outback mountain ranges, just pure nature really. Not that I'm particularly into that sort of thing but it just takes you there. Not the best longevity in the world but for the price you can't go wrong. Considering getting it.

I dont understand this one, but then, I only tried it once on my wrist.

The opening is an amazing bergamot and coriander blast, but then it just becomes...nothing special...yet, I could not take off my wrist from my nose, there is something that keeps making me going back for more...and more...and more.

I think I like it!!?

A very easy to wear all rounder.

I will buy this and add an update to this review.

novaalas0

Amazing fragrance!

Lasts unbelievably long especially in warm weather: > 10 hrs.

Strong - not overpowering - Citrus/ Spicy/ Moderately Woody mix.

Approximately 2 hours after applying - and outdoors in > 33°C weather - the boil-down ( no pun intended ) is a very pleasant & vibrant quality that is characteristic of salty/ peppery/ sea-like/ with something else in there that is quite enigmatic but which adds a marine quality to it.

9.5/ 10 overall

alabangcute

It's a fresh smelling fragrance that not every guy wears like ADG, so go for it, if you are still deciding whether to buy or not.

mail2adnan

Ordered online just now & it's a blind buy, glad to read the reviews that i didn't make a mistake

iconoclast

Beautiful name, lovely scent. An all season scent in my opinion that despite its "Nuit" designation can easily be used in the daytime as well. Despite their different ingredients, its smell reminds me a lot of Aramis Gentleman - masculine, fresh, smooth and spicy - although Bleu Astral lasts much longer. Unbelievably classy, impressive performance, and great value for money. Recommended!

Update: Having tried it again in 5 degrees c, I found that it performs only modestly in cold weather, same smell but retreats into a skin scent within the hour.

jjunzzz

Bought it last week. Superb fragrance . Long lasting . Settles down smoothly and fresh . Love it.

Hyasakyt

This is a pleasant 'blue' frag and it kinda smells what you expect it to smell like - fresh spicy citrus sweet and ..... blue
Tropical waters, clear seas, heat, fresh ..... but lasts very mediocre
Tested this on the opposite wrist to Eau Majeure and after 2-3 hours this is gone - Majeure is cruising
Trends change and this flanker is generic in concept, likeable and not offensive in any way just doesn't last and there's very little originality to this creation

Good smell but no legs and slightly dated/boring (IMO)

AMajeedQT

Citrusy, spicy.

Belu Astral is basically lime zest, on aromatic & lightly-spicy coriander, with a blue feel from the ambroxan, made woodier with the leather and the woodsy notes.

Fresh, "blue", aromatic, spicy, woody.

It does smell like a mix between Issey Nuit & Issey Sport but it is much closer to the latter because of how predominantly the citrus note is. Now, I love both Nuit & Sport but Bleu Astral, as good as it is, is not superior than neither in my opinion.

This a mature citrusy fragrance suitable for day & night. The performance is average.

as a female smelling this, i received this as a sample along with 5 other samples and i've sprayed these all on paper. this scent i put 5th while still wet. after they all dried, i ended putting it 6th swapping it with givenchy gentleman which smells to have a few of the same notes. i have 3 i like and 3 i dont like and as this being 6th, its one i dont particularly like. its not horrible but i'm not attracted to the scent at all. my impressions of notes i can smell is its very woody and leathery and lime. could imagine wearing it in a forest in spring in the fresh morning. other than that its not a scent thats going to lure me into you.

aamaawy

Quite disappointed with this scent, its performance is weak, silage is even weaker,i think issey would have done better on this latest release,i will always go back to the original issey, dont know what happen there after.

Valfar

I love it! Not something very unique, but it's perfect for a summer night out. Very elegant, great performance and overal a good fragrance. As i said, not very unique actually, it does remind me a lot of the original Cool Water from Davidoff and Green Irish Tweed- Creed. It's somewhere between these 2. It's not really a daring fragrance, i don't think someone could say it really sucks. It's pleasant, clean, elegant and safe for every environment.

groover

First of all i agree with Frample this
does start off rather fresh, i just
tested the Austral expedition on the
other hand as well, it comes of a bit
more spicy than the Astral but i think
thats pretty normal as Austral has more
notes, if you put your nose a little
to close to where you sprayed they both
are a bit dirty and earthy, but walking
around i get whiffs of a creamy delightful
scent, and that goes for the both of them,
i do like them very much the drydown is amazing.

adamn

Have not been able to find this anywhere in the states or online. No one has heard of it.
