I love this! It's perfect for summer. Very very fresh and on my skin I get a lot of Jasmine. Longevity is around 6 hours on my skin. In the opening it's very fresh and fizzy but as it wears the sweetness starts to come through and balances the fresh notes. I recommend this for humid summer days for a splash of breezy freshness!

I like this! This was a blind purchase because I saw they had the Men version. Had to get them for me and my boyfriend!!! Anyways, I was surprised by how good it is. I am not referring to the longevity because it lasts like 3-4 hours on me. But the scent... oh my. I don't know if I am alone but I smell something along the line of honey. Its a fruity floral scent but the floral stands out more I feel. No citrus scent I am getting here BTW. I don't know how some people got that. Definitely a summer scent.

I sprayed this on me and at first it smelled like an old lady that is always in church, but after 1 hour it just feelt like hugging my mom when I was kid. It's a feel good kind of perfume. Too safe, but in a good way.

Wow it smells super close to Mugler Angel Nova EDT!

I have checked the official site and they don.t list so many notes, but maybe they are. However they list Raspberry leaf , Mandarin, Blackcurrant and Magnolia petals.

For me this is a delicious perfume.

It starts citrusy and sparkling, although I would not define it as a refreshing perfume. Then it has, as its name suggests, a certain aquatic part but that is far surpassed by other more important ones: the green, the floral, the sweet with the raspberry in the lead and the woody.

It smells to me like a raspberry soda, garnished with green leaves and served in a cocktail glass rimmed with a mixture of sugar and salt. This salty aspect may be due to the presence of a small amount of unlisted ambroxan. After a few hours, it feels a bit more vanillic and woody, although I wouldn't say it has much evolution.

I don't feel that it is a perfume for everyone because of its intense sweetness mixed with green notes, a combination that makes it a bit particular, but it seems to me to be a perfume of excellent quality. It feels somewhat dense and I would say that it could trigger a headache for people who are sensitive to its notes so I think it is a must to try it before buying.

In terms of similarities, it does have something of Angel Nova, with which it shares the raspberry and the rose, although, at the same time, it is completely different. But, like it, it is a bomb of projection and duration.

It has a remarkable sillage and lasts on my skin for up to 12 hours, spectacular in the case of an EDT. Once, I started one of my workouts about 10 hours after wearing it and it started projecting like a beast, almost like it had just been applied, incredible.

For me it is a delicious perfume for informal use and it will always accompany me in my collection to be worn in spring and summer.

This is not at all a typical acquatic perfume, and I'm glad it's not. I smell absolutely no citrus. It's very sweet (if you are sensitive to perfumes, this is not for you) but it's also very unique. I sprayed it on my sleeve once and I was able to smell it 8hrs later. It's sweetness with a bit of freshness, so I see why this would be a summer perfume. Probably best for summer nights. Good price for a big bottle and long lasting perfume. However I really don't smell the notes that it says that it has. My husband noticed and said I smell really nice...and he tends to be oblivious to perfumes. So that's a bonus!

Despite the name, this isn’t really aquatic at all; it’s definitely a fruity floral. I mostly get mandarin, jasmine and magnolia, with a touch of apple. It’s quite fresh, crisp and waxy; I see this as a great spring scent, although it would also work in summer. I like it a lot but it’s perhaps a tad too generic to be a love. I think it’s a pretty safe blind buy. I will say the performance is really good - it lasts forever on me.

hallanvaara

I LOVE this. It's my absolute favourite scent of all time. Signature scent even. I only use it during summer though, since I think it suits the season best. To me it smells like a heavy summer night in a Mediterranean country – intoxicating. I've once even been stopped by a stranger when I wore this perfume and they asked what perfume I was wearing because I smelled so good!

chrisaied

When I was buying it everyone kept saying that this perfume is such ’ETERNAL!!!’, but actually not more than 2 hours I can feel it. That’s good as your first perfume at 13’s - light and sweety. But I was looking for something like aquatic collection by Carner Barcelona, but it’s not worth of it.

A delicious fresh and fruity take on vétiver. The first time I smelt this I thought of Encre Noir by Lalique. The advert shows young people talking about their love of water. I assume they do water sports. I can see how this can be a very nice casual fragrance. For active people on the go. Or just a nice scent when you want something effortless and dressed down but comforting and alluring.
I bought it as a blind buy, aware of all the bad reviews. Packaging is beautiful, the box with Japanese wave on one side and 3D stamp of the wave on the other side is really lovely. Lots of attention to detail. And the bottle looks much better in real life than in photos. The vétiver in the dry down also reminds me of Timbuktu. I think you have to be a fan of vétiver to appreciate this perfume. The fruit and patchouli give a gentle nod to Angel. Simple fragrance yet with many facets. All in all Aqua Kenzo leaves an attractive, slightly quirky trail scent.
At first a was a little unsure about it but after giving its a few tries on different days, it’s definitely staying in my collection. I love it.

vanillamoss

This fragrance seems to be getting a lot of hate in the reviews. It's actually a super attractive scent -- reminds me a lot of Nina by Nina Ricci (which I consider to be a light, fresh, and slightly sweet frag). No, it's not aquatic, but it's doesn't claim to smell that way -- it's the water of Kenzo after all! The water that Kenzo reimagines is whimsical, bright, and colorful -- much more exciting than your typical aquatic scent. Raspberry, lemon, and apple dominate, but it never gets syrupy or cloying. This is a scent that makes me smile -- think beach umbrellas, sorbet, and fun sunglasses.

I'm a guy and I'd like to smell this on my woman in the warmer months. I think the scent is really nice. Sweet raspberry mixed with florals. I just bought a nearly unused bottle for $10 to try it out, since I heard it may be better than the men's version (they are very different). I also have Aqua Kenzo For Men, which I wear and really enjoy. Sure, both of these are not really aquatic scents. The men's version has a creamy hazelnut accord, and the performance is great. When I spray my shirt, I can smell that beautiful scent when I open the closet a few days later.

If the raspberry note fell after the magnolia and orange this would have been amazing. I seem to not work well with raspberry in perfumes, this was too sweet for me.

Dry-down smells exactly like "This is her" by Zadig & Voltaire.

Rasberry,Lemon,Magnolia,Green notes,Sandalwood,Vanilla
This is a very good quality yet very affordable perfume if you like it. In the opening it's a lemon & rasberry sweet cocktail with Sandalwoods topping. It's has a dynamic fluid texture and perhaps that is why it is called Aqua.Imagine a hot day on the beach, you ordered a lemonade which has pieces of rasberry in it ...and you know it'a gonna cool you down ,this would be the scent of that drink ,and because of the Cashmere and Sandalwood notes, the sweetness is pleasant otherwise it could have smelled cheap but it does not.I'd say this is a sweet perfume that has been done right. Projects well and about 4 hours longavity in warm days.

Aqua Kenzo pour Femme it's not an aquatic scent for me.

I bought this perfume as a holiday fragrance. Even if name "Aqua" is not a statement, that is at least promise of a huge refeshment in a overwhelming heat.

Surprisingly, instead of refreshing breeze I had a strange feeling that I'm standing over a pot full of fresh made blackcurrant jam in kitchen just cleaned with lemon(?).

Don't get me wrong - I love Aqua Kenzo, I think that Aqua is somehow sister of Le Monde Est Beau Kenzo with his tomatoleafy/basil/pinkygrapefruit kitchen connections.

I didn't get sick in hot weather although Aqua Kenzo wasn't what I expected. Even more - Aqua is still beyond my expectations. I Love Le monde est beau and now I love his little sister Aqua Kenzo.

Blackcurrant jam, lemon and jasmine with hint of pathouli it's always good match with my body chemistry. Comforting, easygoing, you don't have to be in mood for this fragrance.

But try before use in tropics -it's may be not what you expect to be.

This was on sale, and I wonder if it is discontinued.
Opens very watery, but water turns into soapy patchouli in one hour. Reminds me of early Kenzos in 1990's, which I loved dearly.

justfloral

I thought it would be fresher. It is sweet, and it has Kenzo World type of sweetness to it (fruity syrup, powdery), but it's five times diluted.

It smells like: raspberry syrup + soap + indolic jasmine note + stinging nettle!

Missisjoker

This is an extremely weird smell. It starts as a fresh watery smell with a touch of exotic fruits, kinda like transparent waters on a tropical island (and i LOVED that start, I almost bought the bottle it was that good). But after a while all the "water" and "freshness" disappears and you are left with sweet, fruity and spicy mess that is quite gross.
After sniffing my wrist for an hour or so, i decided on buying L'eau par Kenzo- THAT's the water and freshness classic.

Make sure you try this one on your skin before you buy.

SUGARY. Extremely sickly sweet.
My sister gave this to me for my birthday and I had to return it.
Its just unbearable, and normally I like sweet, fruity scents like Mon Paris or Flowerbomb.
Some reviewers says it smells masculine? I dont get that AT ALL, its the opposite of masculine! Its so nauseating and sweet.
Not the slightest aquatic or fresh on my skin. :(

unipuutarha

It's like fresh flow water. The green apple makes it fresh and a little bit unisex-like; it is not strong or sporty at all, but I can imagine it being worn by modern people of both sexes.

ScarlettX

I like it, is't good.
Fresh and clean, but there's still a bit of fruity sweetness to it.
All those Kenzo's fresh editions are good every year.
A sweet, fruity water.

yasmina2009

I like this perfume - it smells exactly like salted pineapple on me! The marine/salty note is prominent mostly in the beginning, with the pineapple right along side. The vetiver comes up mostly in the dry down. This fragrance is perfect for summer and hot weather.

Arlene-Beatrix

Fresh, nice, soft citrus scent with a bit of sweetness. Aquatic note is quite subtle. I like it, but it is not love.

nothernlights

Not so sweet on me. Not at all aquatic. No sea, no oceans, not blue. Sour and patchuli. Vetiver and berries. Not exotic.

I like IT, it's something you don' t find in interpretations of water . So don't mind of The Lane.
Where is rasberry? Can't find.
Something sweet and sour. Round and easy to wear.

I loved Issue Miyakes L'feu, IT reminds of IT. Feminine and beautiful.

Olya-la

This perfume shall be called "Kenzo exotica" instead, because "aqua" is obviously associated with water and freshness, but this scent is not about that. From the beginning until the end it is an explosive fruity-berry bomb, very sweet, sickly sweet to be exact. Raspberry enveloped into something extra sweet like vanilla (however there is none here) is the most distinctive note in this perfume. Overall it is very loud and long-lasting in its tropical sweetness.
