When compared side-by-side with Gucci Guilty Pour Femme EDP, it’s clear that while it isn’t an exact dupe, it certainly falls into the same category. The dry down is quite similar.

I bought this with the hope of finding something that could replace my beloved discontinued Gucci by Gucci EDP. Based on other reviews here, I was surprised to find that this smells absolutely nothing like Gucci by Gucci. But it does smell very similar to J'adore (which some here have also said). The opening is exactly J'adore, but the dry down is darker, less shampoo-like.

Is this an olfactory version of the blue-dress-gold-dress controversy of 2015? The perfume take on the Laurel/Yanny auditory illusion of 2018? I saw a gold dress and heard "Laurel." If you did too, you'll probably think this perfume smells like J'adore.

Or perhaps it's because this bottle is fresh and new, and it will smell more like something in the Gucci neighborhood after maturing a bit? I don't know. All I can tell you is that after smelling this, I have more questions than answers.

GUAVA, HONEY & WHITE-MUSK. Opens with a burst of tropical guava & pear, that deepens into the honey-floral heart, resting on a patchouli-musk base rounded out with vanilla and a touch of oakmoss. Overall I get a dewy tropical pear-guava that's lifted and projected by delicate florals and deepens into a honey-patchouli with white-musk base. Excellent performance that becomes beast mode, but this can work up to a cloying sweetness if over-sprayed.

Contrast to J'Adore Dior:
These are different, but there is a similar vibe with pear & dewy, sweet florals. Sotoor Seen dries down a lot sweeter with honey, while J'Adore gets a faint shampoo vibe. Both have excellent performance.

Contrast to Gucci by Gucci EDP:
Very similar notes. Gucci by Gucci EDP outperforms initially, but after the bottle ages on this one it's a beast mode performer and becomes more similar to Gucci by Gucci.

Contrast to Gucci Guilty EDP:
These are different, but there is a very similar vibe. Sotoor Seen dries down sweeter with honey, while Gucci Guilty EDP has a more lilac. Both have excellent performance.

Contrast to Enteba'a Rasasi:
These are different, although there are similarities with sweet florals. Enteba'a is a dupe of Champs Élysées Guerlain with good approximation and excellent performance.

Contrast to Believe Britney Spears:
These are different, but there are similarities with guava & patchouli. Here there is a tropical fruity opening that dries down more honey forward, while Believe has a more forward multi-faceted patchouli. Both are excellent performers, but Sotoor Seen outperforms.

Overall: Beautiful tropical guava-chouli, honey & white-musk scent with excellent performance for a year round wearing experience, but even with the tropical facets I would be more likely to wear this in winter due to the depth of the sweetness in the drydown. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

Please dnt blind buy. Try first.

This was a blind buy. I wore it occasionaly but regret immediately after spraying. There' s something cloying in it leaning for my taste on masculine side. Unfortunately scent is a real beast, I felt it on my scarf for maybe 2 weeks. So I gifted it to my son.

I just bought it for my mom, in the store they applied it to my hand, with 4 hours to 24, even spending the whole afternoon with the perfume, after taking a bath, I can perceive a light floral smell, without a doubt its surprise surprised me quality and its low price. At first it comes out very explosive, don't be scared, leave it for half an hour and the magic will begin, as a man thinking of stealing some spray from my mother and without fear of smelling this floral and sweet delight without being cloying. I totally recommend it for women and men.

Eveningrose

I had high expectations from the reviews but I am sad as it is too light like there is no projection at all. It is a light airy floral scent but it smells almost like a body mist than perfume . I don’t see similarity to Gucci guilty . I will test out a bit more but I am a bit disappointed:( Update: I have no idea if I got a bad batch. This did not even last on my cloths for more than 5 hours!! )

One of the best perfumes I've ever had. I purchase a bottle each month. This one will get you many compliments. 10/10

This is a great alternative for Gucci Guilty (female) - I have bought multiple bottles already for women who love Gucci Guilty but want a cheaper alternative - and this suits them perfectly

GreatSwiftScent

I'm a man and I wear this with CONFIDENCE !!!!
no shame in my game :)
I do own Acqua di Gio Giorgio for women (gold cap)...
I'm really not afraid of wearing fragrances that are labelled feminine

is it floral? yes
is it mellow sweet? yes
is it fruity? yes
white musk? yes
leaning feminine ? yes maybe....who cares

This is straight gorgeous!
for all my ladies...blind by it!!

for my all my GENTLEMEN here please do me a favor a go try this
if you own Moschino Toy Boy(black bear bottle) or Mancera Black Gold...just go and buy Sotoor Seen! You'll have the perfect floral trio for man in your collection

4 sprays is enough -> beast mode!! but I go with 5
wrist, wrist, shirt, neck and back(yes behind your neck!)

it feels airy but the projection and silage are crazy!
longevity 6hr+ in Montreal's humid summer weather
compliment factor :10

let me tell you if the wind catches you, people from across the street will see you!

this like walking on a honey path through a beautiful garden and beautiful flowers while eating a fresh juicy guava-pear fruit from heaven !

the notes are so well blended that it's hard to pick them individually.

This is my go to if I know that I'm going to spend most of the day outside (spring, summer, hot days in fall) can work as a night scent but for formal occasions (wedding, date night with your wife or gf) not for clubbing -> go with Toy boy if you want something floral

ladies buy it!
Guys who want to smell different but good and you are not afraid of "feminine" scent try it !

AMajeedQT

A classic white floral with a sweet nuance.

Musky, herbal patchouli, with sweet floral pear & lily of the valley.

Beautiful, playful, causal, uplifting. The fragrance equivalent of a floral print summer dress.

Excellent performance.

"Love".

jimsocks

agree its feminine. very nice floral with good performance. gave it to my mother, she loves it. solid buy if you want nice sweet floral scent.

LIN

Totally feminine! Not unisex at all! To my nose it's absolutely similar to the Guilty by Gucci. Floral sweet.. nice.. but very generic and nothing unique here. I had high hopes for this one when reading the reviews and blind bought it.. disappointment. I like my fragrances much darker or would I say sensual, this one is just plain Jane. One important pro I will have to mention - longevity and sillage are just great!!!

O Black

I love this scent as a man. It's smooth and velvety mix of fruity, sweet and floral notes. The pear, honey, vanilla and orange blossom makes this rich and luxurious. I have tried the other fragrances from the Sotoor line and they smelled generic. This caught my nose and had to pull the trigger. It leans a tad feminine but if you're a man who isn't a conformist, try this beauty out! Of course women will love this on you and themselves. 4 sprays and it projects heavy without annoying anyone!

Longevity- 10/10
Silage- 9/10
Scent- 10/10
Value- 10/10 (For this beauty you can find a 100ml for cheap)
Versatility- Anywhere, anytime, any season, any occasion so 10/10

Get it!

luv_kouros

Very floral and no way is it a male fragrance to my nose.
Very feminine and smells similar to one or two of my wife’s fragrances.

Floral from start to finish and not something I would associate with a male fragrance

mapache

Received this from Notino today.
A "sister/sibling" to Dior J'Adore....???
YES...I would say so...but to my nose not a "dupe/clone"
SEEN is awesome sauce !! Projects and lasts great.Floral/fruity unisex scent. Smooth in the drydown. Somehow has a classic vintage edge to it.
I do get the guava/lily/vanilla vibes, and underneath the light patchouli-ish/musky vibe. The rose seems over-shadowed..??...IMO.
A winner !!!!

edit: Wow...I just realized that this is very similar to another fragrance...
Guerlain L'Instant EDP !!!
I tried them side-by-side and...yes....it reminds me of the Guerlain !!!

msajoy

amazing amazing juice.floral and fruits, lasts forever, smells very posh, if you love dior jadore...get this instead, much more affordable and projects for hours , spring and summer scent
