Mademoiselle Rochas by Rochas is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Mademoiselle Rochas was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Anne Flipo. Top notes are Candy Apple, Black Currant, Orange and Lemon; middle notes are Rose and Egyptian Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Musk, Sandalwood and Ambergris.

The new feminine fragrance by Rochas, Mademoiselle Rochas, pays tribute to the classic Madame Rochas from 1960. The fragrance comes out in March 2017, under the license from Interparfums, developed by perfumer Anne Flipo of IFF. Mademoiselle Rochas reportedly represents the playful spirit of a young Parisian woman and the epitome of French Chic.

Sweet and fruity aromas of black currant and candied apple from the top of the composition are leading to the floral heart of rose petals and Egyptian jasmine. The base reveals tones of ambergris, sandalwood and chantilly musk. Mademoiselle Rochas is a fragrance of a young woman bright, cheerful and bubbly.

The face of the campaign is actress Noemie Schmidt. It is available in a round glass pink bottle with a textured edge as a 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

This is a really lovely and pretty scent.
I don't think there's any reason to give up this perfume that I've loved for a long time just because I'm older.
The scent takes me on a trip down memory lane. I love all the pretty scents. This is one of them.
When I was in college, I tried many different types of perfumes, but now I like pretty floral scents. It feels a bit awkward for people to smell like moss or leather :0

sbv

This is the first perfume I bought for myself that I liked and used the full bottle.
It is fresh and feminine at the same time- suits well the ladies in early twenties. But it could be too "standard" or not unique enough for older ladies- but the flip side of it- it is likely to be "office-appropriate".

CustardBunny

I dont know.. im getting the citrus and some type of flower but its very boring up close, but from arms away it smells like roses and candied apples!?
It's as if it doesnt smell very good on urself but if someone else is smelling you then it is.

Im going in and out of love and hate on this one every minute haha.
Candy Apples and cat poop inbetween.

AinoKaroliina

The citruses are soft and they pair so well with the apple. Even though the apple note is listed as candy apple, it's not cloyingly sweet. The citrus notes bring a pleasant freshness to the top.

This is a gentle fresh floral scent.

In the middle notes the rose is not a vintage-style rose, which I'm glad about. Fresh, newly bloomed florals. Feels like the flowers are opening right before me.

this is a good fragrance for daily wear. Easily likeable - simply smells cleanly and lovely.

Lasting power isn't good though, around 2 hours, but this is pretty affordable so for me reapplying isn't that big a deal.

I brought this based on a few reviews comparing it to the now unfortunately discontinued YSL Babydoll. The price was good so I thought " hey why not?". Upon first spraying it smelt fairly generic like one of the very popular sweet floral fragrances. After about half an hour it only faintly began to resemble babydoll as in this is a lot sweeter with much less spice, citrus and woods so I was left quite disappointed. This is still a pleasant fruity floral with a touch of sophistication typical of the house of Rochas but personally I expected more. The top notes (according to the website) are redcurrant, caramel red apple and ivy. The middle notes are jasmine, rose and violet. The base notes are sandalwood, ambergris and chantilly musk. The bottle is super pretty in real life and the pink, white and black colours are very "French Chic" indeed!

Mademoiselle Rochas edp is much more fruity than floral. The candied apple is the main note but it's not like a North American candy apple covered in caramel it's more of a red apple candy, like if Jolly Ranchers had a fresh red apple hard candy instead of a green one. No caramel found here. The base is a scant rose scented makeup powder, musk and vanilla.

The edt has more white musk, powder, discernible florals and is longer lasting. I prefer the edt because it's more adult but the edp is recommended for young girls or anyone who loves apple berry vanilla scents. Lasts at least 4-6 hours then a skin scent for the remainder of the day.

Close to the great perfumery icons already launched by Maison Rochas, Mademoiselle Rochas is a perfume that is far from the proposal that she has always dared in her launches, in terms of boldness, personality and the maximum expression of absolute power.

A perfume with a very citrus opening that does justice to the pink color of its bottle, and even though it is an Eau de Parfum it does not manage to demonstrate so much notoriety among its notes, even initially. I feel caramelized fruits and that's it.

In less than 1 hour, the fragrance evolves into a sweet, comforting aroma where flowers, and especially Rose, stand out in a tender garden without much expectation of eminent accentuated beauty; here you can also feel sweet aspects, but nothing so surprising!

The base is common to all of us, Gourmand vanilla, sensual musk and a bed of Sandalwood in wood that, amidst the previous notes, becomes something purely feminine and quite common in the vast majority of feminine fragrances launched lately. In my opinion, the bottle is worth much more than the fragrance itself. Fixation of 4 hours maximum and projection close to the skin.

Kensagirl

Fruity, sweet, and girly good pick for spring and some of summer. I really get the sweet or candy apple with a little jasmine. Probably more of a fragrance for a younger person, teen or college girl, however I think anyone would appreciate it. If I were to gift it, I would to a younger lady, my mother finds it too strong and I've gotten that from fifty and up ladies.

Kuty22

I bought it simply because it's often compared to Babydoll which I cannot find (I got rid of mine, then regretted), in the opening it's quite different from Babydoll however, as it dries down it gets so so close
Love it ♥️♥️♥️

Risti

This is a very floral, sweet vanillery scent. Is it nice? Sure but it also isn't unique it smells like a 100 other perfumes. Good for summer and a "I don't know what to wear" perfume. It does give me Baby Doll vibes so if that was a fave I'd say you'd love this.

Enrium

I have several Rochas perfumes in the form of vintage miniatures, and they are consistently excellent. From the legendary Femme and Byzance to Madame Rochas, the precursor to this scent, they are expertly composed, old-world beauties. In contrast, Mademoiselle Rochas is a sugary-sweet, generic floral-fruity. Interchangeable with many other mass-market youthful feminine scents, MR is nothing special and is ultimately pointless.

MR has a very sweet opening, thanks to a sweet orange note and something akin to assorted red berries. A synthetically sweet, shampoo-y apple note follows. Syrupy blackcurrant creeps in, and there is an underlying booziness to the opening as well. Jammy rose emerges after a little while, with clean jasmine adding body.

It remains very sweet throughout, with syrupy vanillin enhancing the sweetness in the base. It becomes slightly woody and musky as it fades, without the sweetness being alleviated at all. It becomes somewhat headache-inducing after a while. Sillage and longevity are moderate, but it seems to linger for a long time.

Girlishly sweet, this is an everyday warm weather scent that would likely appeal to teenage girls and young women. It is not at all my thing however - it resembles a thousand other scents and is quite cheap-smelling. A far cry from the glory days of vintage Rochas. 1.5/5.

Laurus

This is one of those easy reach fragrances. Smelling nice and girly but not very memorable at all. Rochas has 3 parfumes that I tried that have similar vibe; Eau Sensuelle, Mademoiselle Rochas and Girl. Out of those 3 I think Girl is the best one because I can clearly smell the warmth after the beginning and it lingers longest. I also do not enjoy the design of this bottle but I think it reflects very well the smell of the juice inside. Girly.

epona1705

Love, Love, Love this perfume. Very sweet when it is first sprayed, but mellows a bit in the dry down

toosimilar

It reminds me of Reve Van Cleef & Arpels quite a lot actually
Rather sweet, fruity berry, long lasting perfume
Middle/Base notes are much more pleasant IMO

Yessamin

As per my tester card:

Mademoiselle Rochas embodies Frenchic!
Parisian elegance paired with a pinch of mischief and joie de vivre.
A daring and timeless fruity floral.

Florind

Deep pink, feminine, ladylike, seducing, flirting, daring, ordinary

Raluko111

This really reminds me of Ralph Lauren's Romance, which was my perfume of choice back in the day. Some of the notes are similar, but True Romance used to last a lot longer on me than this: if spritzed on my wrists, it dissipates after 3-4 hours. On my clothes, it lasts a bit longer, but I don't always do that because I am afraid of stains. It is a light floral, very spring-summer appropriate, that is not overly sweet nor does it induce headaches or seem too complex for an every day, office environment.

leafrags

This is a very well-blended perfume.
However, I don't find it unique enough.

It's definetly a crowd-pleaser, it has a easy-to-love quality to it.
This reminds me of a Repetto perfume.

I'd give it a 6.5/10.

Emera1d

Strong apple scent at the beginning, reminded me of Garnier Fructis shampoo for the first few minutes, but that settles quickly into a soft, pretty rose scent. Never smelled YSL Baby Doll so cannot compare. I was looking for something light and pretty for spring and summer and Mademoiselle Rochas is definitely a keeper in my collection. Nothing strong, sharp or complicated, but a cheerful, easy to wear fruity rose which puts me in a sunny mood the moment I smell it. It doesn't have the best longevity so I would definitely need to reapply during the day, which I don't mind as I got a 100ml for £25. If you are looking for something unique that would make you stand out from the crowd this is not it. But if you are looking for a dumb reach in spring and summer this is 100% it!

Elynthia

This smells exactly as if YSL Baby Doll and Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum had a baby!!!
I received a sample of this from a lovely fellow perfume lover, and I've read this could be similar to my belover discontinued Baby Doll. I've been searching for a replacement for so long, and this was the only thing that got the closest to it! Sadly, the similarity was only in the opening, but the citruses fade very quickly, and what was left, after like 10 minutes, smelled sooo familiar to me. And then it hit me: Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum! It smells nearly identical!
But my search for a Baby Doll replacement continues... Maybe the edt version could be closer? Or if I got a grapefruit/citrusy perfume and mix it with the Mademoiselle Rochas edp, I could get a Baby Doll replacement... I need to experiment a bit. :P

JilliJigs

I was heartbroken when YSL discontinued my 20 year signature scent Baby Doll. Found Mademoiselle Rochas in the “Reminds me of” section under Baby Doll and thought that I would take a chance. I think that I finally found a suitable replacement!! This is wonderful - lightly fruity and floral and doesn’t smell cheap. Already considering ordering a 2nd bottle after less than a week with this new one!

Scentedalterego

An apple-rose with a gorgeous vanilla-musk-ambergris drydown. Sexy, young spirited and flirty. It doesn't seem special at first, but it actually is because of the quality of the drydown. Amazing price / quality ratio here.

The best in the sweeter fruity floral league. Longevity is impressive, lasts all day on me with noticeable sillage. Great for fall.

dvlcis

Red fruits perfume, in the lines of (yes) Baby doll, versace woman, tresor midnight rose.

Heavier on the black currant.

Performs excellent, good value for your money.
The bottle is very pretty and practical.

Nothing bad to say, overall.

Good perfume for any lover of red fruits in perfumes.

Later edit- gorgeous development, smooth. Ambery-vanilla weaving base. It s going on my love list fast.

punky9791

It you loved Babydoll and have been missing it, this is an excellent subsitute--a damn near twin!

Babydoll by YSL was among my favorite perfumes for years, and I was so disappointed that it was discontinued. Since then, I've been on the hunt for a replacement. This is the very closest I've come, and thanks to Fragrantica's "this perfume reminds me of" section.

Like Babydoll, Mademoiselle Rochas opens with a fruity, citrusy note reminiscent of grapefruit--yet neither perfumes contain grapefruit notes. The rose note is noticeable and lovely throughout, a beautiful blend with the fruit notes. I know there's an apple note listed, but this isn't an "apple" perfume (I am reminded of VS old fragrance of Enchanted Apple when I think of apple notes, and this is nothing like it.)

There is an underlying creaminess to Mademoiselle Rochas that wasn't present in Babydoll, and there's a very---VERY--slight powderiness here that was absent in Babydoll. Where Babydoll stayed a sharp citrus-rose blend the entire time, Mademoiselle Rochas is a softer, creamier fruity-rose blend.

I am over the age of 40 (gah, it pains me to write that! How can it be true!?! :), but this perfume isn't limited to 20somethings or teens whatsoever. It's just a beautiful fragrance for anyone who loves a rosey-fruity blend.

Forbiddenjade

Berrish and powdery, rather generic. Not unpleasant but not something worth buying imho. Possibly a lovely gifts for about teens.

ingeneuxo

-Mademoiselle is a fresh-out-of-shower scent.
-Generic, but makes for a dumb reach.
-Has a slightly heavier, more powdery quality than the EDT version.
-I prefer the EDT over this version personally.
-Not fbw. (-)

Nymph_peach

for me it just smells too common and normal. it smells like a cheap hotel soap.

VALOU

dglightblue

Edp. I dontagree with thelikeness to babydoll or chanel eaubtendre, i thenk the edt could be classed as more similar to those two.

This is rounded fresh, sweet, more warm .. slighly than the edt, the fruit rose combo is notsharp nor juicy per se, more creamy and rounded, the woodsarefreshand jnder therest, thisbis light, rounded, cool ish, sweet/warm in a tonka way rather than sugar way.

Evelina169

Very juicy beryish rich pleasant sexy smell. Sweet but same time refreshing and uplifting. Quite strong and long lasting but it is exactly what we expect from good perfume. Budget friendly. You can definitely afford it. Reminds me very little bit of giorgio armani my way.
It is scent for a date or going out, not for office as it is too juicy. I love it. If you like this you should allso try new madamoisele fun in pink by rochas.
Madamoisele is too much underated here as it knocks down much more expensive perfumes 🥰

Namra

This is the type of perfume people would ask you what are wearing because it smells like a "perfume" and not that you are an angel who smells good naturally.

Nothing special though, quite generic, but lasts well and has good projection.

Ingelkorgepingel

Ma pole kunagi ostnud ühtegi parfüümi mitu korda.Seda aga läheb 3 pudel.
Minu kõige lemmikum.Kuigi jah püsivus on niru.

Natique

It was a blind buy for me based on the pyramid description and reviews. However, I feel a bit disappointed, as it doesn't last on my skin at all. It hardly lasts 1 hour. The only note I can smell is candy apple (a nice scent), and then it's gone. Will have to mix it with other more long-lasting fragrances to make it work, or re-apply it every hour.

tapalapaela

I don't really enjoy the opening, but the dry down kinda makes it worth it to wear, if you like candy apple as a note. I really like the proyection when the drydown happens, many fragrances stay closer to the skin when this happens but this one has a pretty decent proyection when the scent shines the best. The citrusy notes almost disappear in the end to give more protagonism to the vanilla that blends beautifully with the candy apple.

Peromeca

I bought it, then I gave it away because I didn't think it fit me. It's a pretty generic sweet feminine perfume for young women who like pink fluffy things.

sodonnaLady

When I use this fragrance, I feel so feminine...Its fresh, a little gourmand and creamy at the same time. Sillage on me is really good. Also stays close to the skin for a long time, and for days on my clothes.

martaisarollingstone

IT smells exactly like Babydoll by YSL!

rola.asad

Lovely!, composed of notes that take me back to my childhood, when I used to sleep at my uncle's house, and they have there a vine plant along with grapes!!!!

I get here the same vine-grape note, besides the apple note, that keeps me away from the fragrance!

Nothing offensive here, but a mainstream fragrance!

PricklyAndHot

Fruity floral, even more fruity not catchy fragrance.

Jernê Knowles

Near the great perfumery icons already launched by Maison Rochas, Mademoiselle Rochas is a perfume far from the proposal that the same always dared in its launches, in the daring, personality and maximum expression of absolute power.

A fragrance with a very citric opening and that lives up to the pink color of its bottle, and even being an Eau de Parfum it can not demonstrate so much notoriety among its notes, even if initially. I feel caramelized and lonely fruits.

In less than 1 h the fragrance evolves into a sweet, comforting aroma where flowers, and especially the rose stand out in a tender garden without much expectation of eminent marked beauty; here you can also feel sweet things, but nothing so amazing!

The base is common to all of us, Vanilla gourmand, Sensual musk and a bed of wood sandalwood that amidst the notes above becomes something purely feminine and very common in a large majority of feminine fragrances released lately. In my opinion, the bottle is worth much more than the fragrance itself. Fixation of 4 h at most and projection close to the skin.

Wyded

One of my favorite fragrance, that's what the pink color could smell, I received a lot of compliments from the male of all ages

Ohhellozippy

A really lovely simple scent, makes me happy. Fruity rose with berries. There are days when one needs exactly that.

ZELJO

Where,s the new,Fun in pink,version?

ScarlettX

Rose note is strong in it and this isn't my favorite thing. I also sense sticky sweet scents, like grapes and vanilla.
Too strong, powdery-sweet for my taste.
I think it's better on cold days.
It's not something I would choose, but not the worst scent either.

Gourmandlover

To my nose this smells happy and clean, like some sweet soap scent. I think it's pretty generic, but I don't mean that in a bad way! It's also uplifting, I think it would be great to wear in spring. Longevity and sillage are moderate on my skin. A big like for me!

Mae10

smells like a sweet lemony baby bowder for me, Good for everyday but doesn’t last at alllll so save your money you will smell it in the bottle only

Nikkafragrance

I like it a lot, it smells joyful, like youth...The bottle is pretty, the juice inside it smells pretty and innocent too. Very fresh red apple, rose and black currant. I think it"s nice for brand like Rochas to make something aimed to the youngest audience. Usually I associate the house with haute couture, vintage classics like Femme and Madame Rochas. I love and respect such masterpieces, however fresh and versatile perfumes like Mademoiselle Rochas come like a breath of fresh air.

muahah

Sweet syrup with wonderful rose. Love that rose in this perfume. I actually wasn't expecting that much from this due to previous reviews here. It keeps reminding me something, but I'm not sure what, because today there are many sweet perfumes and scents around. This one have bit bold and daring character. Amber gives lovely warmth. It's somewhat adult, but in same time because of sweetness still young. Perfume it self isn't vintage, bet it reminds me something around year 70th. Chunky belt, peasant skirt and floppy sun hat, definitely feminine, smiling and elegant walking next to Paris flower shop. Advertising design with solemn event and name "Mademoiselle" fits well for this perfume. Good sillage. Preferably not for hot summer.

genny17

I got it at a good price, so it didn't matter so much if I didn't like it....in truth, it is likable, but it has a young vibe , it is sweet, but not in an extreme way, more juicy fresh, with a nice apple undertone..it has a bit of See by Chloe also..
Don't dismiss it too fast, it is young in a way, but this isn't viva la juicy..This is a refined soft sweet scent, nicely done..if you like big strong scents, this isn't it..
Not outstanding, but pleasant to wear, a juvenile Rochas though...not the usual depth from the brand .

COSMICSCENTS

I went to the shopping center today here in Uruguay and couldn´t believe my eyes when I saw the huge ads in the front of the perfume store. They didn't carry Rochas brand before so I wasn't expecting to ever see it here. I ran to find the tester. Since I was going to the movies I already had a lot of perfume on so I could only put it on the top of my hand and the sleeve of my coat. I can say that I love the scent, is not sweet like I thought since other people mentioned that it was sweet, actually it reminds me of YSL Babydoll, it has a grapefruit sweet smell. I think is a masterpiece and can't wait to have it in my collection :)

irisjetaime
