The top accords are champagne, pink pepper and apricot blossom. Pink passion flower, marigold and white freesia are located in the heart, while the base notes include ambergris, musk and cashmere wood.

I remembered buying this for someone maybe 10 years ago and loving the scent, so a few years ago, I bought it blind for me. Well, my taste has clearly moved on... This is really very sharp, ambroxan laden and just not that pleasant to me anymore, I've no idea how I liked this and I feel bad for having given anyone a bottle of it. I guess it's the marigold and the pink pepper. I wouldn't describe this as fizzy or effervescent but it has a carbonated smell, it's even a little salty almost. On me this lasts really quite well, I guess it's the ambroxan. What a mad bottle too, it's so kitschy, I can't decide whether I like it or not. Anyway, I decluttered mine and resold it, I hope whoever bought it enjoys it.

Very lovely, inoffensive floral fragrance. Not a great deal of complexity, it's sprays on like an electric spark flashing in the dead of night: as soon as it's there, it's gone... And yet, it is charming. It is friendly. It is nearly always a welcome presence in the room (the bottle as much as the scent!)
Sadly the longevity of this perfume fails to accomodate to its awkwardly shaped bottle... Very difficult to pack in a bag. Due to it's rather intimate silage, I prefer this sprayed on the body than the extremities, it clings much better to the armpit than the wrist and makes for a nice fresh skin scent. Usually I go for rich, woody, earthy notes so I find it balances the masculine signatures I wear with a good feminine flourish undertone, still supplying an element of musk with its base notes. And it's pleasant on clothing as well. I've indefinitely swapped out regular deodorant for this scent. Those light peppery notes cling very distinctly to my clothes even days after wearing them.
Can't compare this to the regular Lovestruck scent as when I went to the pharmacy to give it try, they apparently had no tester bottle... Yet, from what I've read, this one seems a bit more 'edgy'
The purple tones on this bottle are just delightful, along with its bright acidic green writing, and the ribbon is a gorgeous flourish that pairs perfectly with its profile. It really is very well curated.
I was gifted this by my father's partner years ago, I've only just really started to pay attention to it, but I see it's quite cheap nowadays so I shall certainly be buying myself a new bottle when this one runs out.

Pianomelody

Young, sparkling and particular perfume. It opens with a lively and sparkling champagne, with apricot blossom giving light sweetness, and pink pepper present but not intrusive.
In the drydown i like it more, because it becomes very musky and ethereal. I like!

For a perfume with a decent number of notes, I'm not smelling a heck of a lot.

This is a spicy, woody, slightly-earthy, minimally-floral scent.
I get:
- Pink Pepper (the most)
- Marigold (a fair-ish amount)
- Musk and Cashmere Wood (faint and echoing in the distance)

The singular main note is the pink pepper which dominates like a crazy mother-in-law. The marigold is what gives it a very earthy flower scent. Not floral: Flower. This is the flower, stem, roots, and dirt clods attached to those roots - don't say you don't get what you pay for.
I'm usually relatively sensitive to freesia as it's quite heady and super-sweet...and there's minimal sweetness here. Passion flower is also very distinctive - Think "Hypnose" - where it's done *beautifully*, or even "Incredible Things". I get none in "Floral Rush".
Sadly, no champagne. Either in this smell or for celebrating this perfume.

The other disappointing thing about this scent is the projection. By that, I mean, the complete absence of it. I've applied this twice to each wrist, and I'm still shoving it under my nose. It's so faint; I'm half-convinced I'm making up notes:
"Mmm...I mean...IS that passion flower? Maybe! Maybe!!! Or is that spicy dirt? Pink pepper?! Yeah, sure."
I never know what the truth of it.
This perfume is low-key gas-lighting me.

Whatever I'm smelling isn't bad. Okay? It's NOT bad. I just don't get anything special or even remotely noticeable in a normal perfume-sense.

The absolute pro is the bottle. Come on - just...look at it! I can't think of another perfume line that's more extra than the "Lovestruck" line, and whilst I actually adore "Lovestruck" (don't even come at me about that); this is...almost nothing.
Nothing I'm "rushing" to get!
Haw-haw-haw!

#dadjoke

I ain't mad; just disappointed.
Not repurchase-worthy.

I am surprised I like this scent as much as I do. I am normally into loud Beast mode fragrances but I intrigued since everyone kept mentioning how peppery this scent is. To me this scent is very light but at the same time noticeable. Spray it in a room and you'll smell nothing but walk back in the same room moments later and you'll be amazed. Oh and the bottle is adorable! Now, I do own The Key by Justin Bieber and to me these scents don't smell alike at all. The Key is much sweeter and also a lot more potent. Lovestruck Floral Rush is a much drier scent and it sits closer to the skin and the longevity is deplorable. It's a good thing Lovestruck FR is inexpensive because you need to spray it on clothes or more like a body spray. Two to three sprays of this does nothing you need like twelve.

AntigoneAscending

Let me start by saying I fell in love with the dramatic look of the bottle! She is so funky and lovely! Loved the look of it so much (and the smell on paper) that I bought two...one for me and the other one as a gift for my young cousin! Unfortunately I was so bummed when I spritzed on myself. I was expecting uplifting florals, but what I got was sharp heavy, musky floriental. Bummed! I will never wear something this spicy.
I am a blind buy addict and 99% of the time it works in my favor. But there have been a few definite "NO!"'s that I know I won't wear and they end up in the back of a drawer in my vanity table, but not this beauty, she sits proudly on the table despite the fact that I will never reach for her simply because I think she is so darn pretty!

Ive owned it for years and recently fell for it again,so I had to write an entirely new review but my first impression is here as well.. note: it doesnt go bad in the bottle in time. It is dreamy. Creamy opening, the pink pepper makes it it abit spicy, freesia is one of my fav flowers. Drydown is soft powdery. The flowers hold well, youre not left with plain musk on you. It reminds me of blue and purple flowers. Intense and clean scent with depth and good longevity. Very unique, and Im drown to scents that arent too popular. This is def different. Its drydown reminds me of the Key by Justin Bieber, I own both and that was my initial impression which never changed but I prefer this to The Key. The original Lovestruck is inoffensive, but it seems very repetitive to me. Also La Rive's Moonlight Lady is close, at least belongs to the same family of woody deep florals(violet, passion flower), but it's greener with no pepper. Its something I wear year round esp in the morning.

Meja.Kast

This doesn't smell like anything else to me. It's a peppery floral and definitely has personality. Brings back memories of first dates and new beginnings. Uplifting, lively, and special.

supertw94109

Fresh florals and slight fruity first notes, like someone mentioned before reminds me of Justin Biebers Keys. I use this for a waker upper at work as there is an initial burst of freshness to stimulate you nose then it becomes a musky skin scent within the hour. Good to reset my nose from perfume fatigue after too many days of "serious", heavier, more complex perfumes and it's also very work safe. Also the bottle looks doesn't look so weird in person so I keep it on a side desk and it even looks kind of cool.

Update: I used this freshie to lighten up other perfumes if they get too heavy and cloying. I spray this on top and rub the area to disperse the suffocating scent and to give myself a wakeup. Very good for dispersing over heady white florals and heavy cakey syrupy hyper sweet scents.

m_mtz40

This reminds me of Prada Iris. Not my personal fave but i have friends that LOVE IT. So here is something they can try!

takeasniff

This smells similar on me to justin biebers the key and vera wang look. It is very musky its like she took the musk and florals out of the princess formula and put them on steroids. A very strong smell but pleasant and i know it as soon as i smell it on someone it has a strong projection.

schil

The bottle and what is on the cap is in reallity very Beautifull !, Marvelous!.
I find the perfume light. There is to less basic notes in it.In teh begining there is much Champagne. then i think now it comming!.
But no.I slowly gets down.longeveti 6 hours, silage very very poor.
It ends in a little bit wash powder.

schil

Oh These bottle is really beautiful. The smell is a alway's oke smell. So it is worth the price.

boannika

Wow, the notes were a real surprise to me. This smells absolutely nothing like champagne ( or any of the other notes listed). This smells like laundry detergent, nothing more, nothing less. Just laundry detergent. You need to spray at least 6 or 7 times in order to smell anything at all and it lasts about 15 minutes. I put it on about a half an hour ago, and i can't smell it anymore ( neither can people around me). I'm very disappointed, smells like those cheap body sprays, and even they last longer . The bottle is cute, though.

JetsBabe

Not bad at all!! In fact, I may like it a little better than original Lovestruck because Lovestruck sort of smells like nailpolish remover at times.

Honestly, I was going to keep it because the bottle is SO pretty! But this perfume isn't bad at all! It's fresh and I smell flowers.

I was very shocked I liked it after I saw the notes.

(Could barely smell the champagne, btw)

therockabillyequestrian

I bought a sample of this. It's so gorgeous! I really want to get the full bottle now!

Coffee King

This is a very pretty perfume, a mix of white flowers, sweet soap and musk. Very strong initially, as it dries it becomes more soapy. I'd agree with other reviewers that it's a little synthetic, but there's nothing offensive about it, the musk is subtle. The bottle is very pretty.

Treslicious

Soapy soapy soapy! On me it smells like a soap. Or laundry detergent depends on how you interpret it. But a nice one though. Smelling from the nozzle it's less soapy, and I got a little bit of the sweet and freshness people talked about. Aldehydic and sparkling, yes. I do get a mixture of flowers. But it's not your regular lily and rose type of floral. It's a very exotic and pungent floral. Almost smells synthetic. As it sets the rich, musky base comes out and makes it a little darker. It's not a bubbly, optimistic daytime perfume. But depends on my mood I can totally wear it day or night, formal or casual. After all it makes me smell clean like I just got out of the shower using a perfumed soap. Who wouldn't love that?

It's a strong perfume, so you get roughly 3-5 hours of longevity. Not too bad. 1 spritz is more than enough. Overall if you want a clean smelling scent with a strong base and a piece of eye candy, look no further. :)

TLight

I definitely detect the combination of champagne and pink peppercorn. It sounds strange, but the combination of aromas reminds me of tea for some reason. There is an herbal note that I feel is pretty strong in this; might be the apricot blossoms and freesia? I can’t be sure, but for me there is something green and grassy about this fragrance. For it to be called “Floral Rush” is misleading to me, personally. It isn’t that intense of a floral at all. I got a lot of compliments after wearing it, though. That is always a plus!

animal lover 20

I ordered online a sample in order to try it since I can not find it in Greece. (Unfortunately, I can only find very few perfumes by Vera Wang in Greece, it is a very limited market....). It is nothing special, I can not recognize any note, with very poor longevity...Therefore, I am quite disappointed....Definitely, I would not purchase a whole bottle....

tittertat

Uh- oh I tried both this and original Lovestruck, I loved one and not the other but I can't remember which same is which! Both were nice but one was more vanilla. I do love the bottle design though.

perfumemad62

Lovestruck Floral Rush is a really clean and pretty smelling fragrance.

It is a musky, sweet floral perfume with clean, bubbly champagne and some peppery notes, which adds some dimension. I really love this perfume, perfect for lazy days or running errands. This reminds me so much of spring time! Moderate lasting power & soft sillage.

Overall, another gorgeous perfume from Vera Wang. Very easy to wear, clean and floral. I love this one! Highly recommended.

Note: I think the bottle looks really sweet on my dresser!

Fragrance_Lily

I prefer this one much more to the original "Lovestruck" since the original is too cloying in the hotter weather. This perfume is nice, light, and fresh-smelling. It definitely leaves me feeling clean and light.

The bottle looks so beautiful on my vanity with my other perfumes.

CPelly82

Wow this perfume packs a punch. Light yet really floral. Starts off very strong but settles out with a bubbly scent which lasts a long time. One of those scents where a little is a lot. I would wear this as an evening scent during cooler days.

missk

Lovestruck Floral Rush is a strange scent, neither pleasant nor unpleasant. I admittedly like the bottle design with the purple flowers and bow as opposed to the pink Lovestruck. However I would never buy a fragrance just for the pretty bottle, it would have to smell great on me too.

I'm trying to pinpoint exactly what it is that I don't like about Lovestruck Floral Rush. The dominant champagne accord is something that I actually enjoy, and although it provides an interesting fruity tartness, it's perhaps the lack of champagne fizzy-ness that disappoints me. Yves Saint Laurent did the champagne note so well in Yvresse that every other fragrance to feature a wine note since has not been so successful.

Vera Wang as a brand does not always appeal to me. I find her earlier fragrances like Vera Wang for Women and Princess of a higher quality than that of her more recent releases. Lovestruck Floral Rush really didn't shine on my skin, and I refuse to believe that it is just a matter of skin chemistry. It smelt a tad too synthetic for my liking, and its greatly reduced price tag in Australian stores may be a reflection of that.

Lovestruck Floral Rush is evidently not a fragrance for everyone. It's not your typical crowd pleaser, nor is it likely to be a hit with the younger consumers of whom Lovestruck was popular with. I must add however in a more positive light that Lovestruck Floral Rush did have amazing longevity on my skin, clinging for well over seven hours.

Try before you buy is all I can say. The bottle may indeed be pretty, but it's definitely not worth a bottle sitting unused on display.

bonnie52

This smells awesome when you first spray it. Full of flowers and other scents that I can't quite identify but it smells wonderful! Unfortunately, that initial burst of scent quickly dissipates to being only noticeable if you put you nose to your skin. Not for me.

Spencemonster

I just snagged this at a great deal from Marshalls. I got the smaller 1.oz bottle. I really like it. It's floral obviously but a bit pepperish and patchouli. I really like it. I think it will be a good night time fragrance. Going to a dinner or out on town. Which I will try with it! I give it a solid 4 of 5.

fionaong

I don't really understand all the negative reviews. The scent is great, very floral as the name would suggest, a tad musky and in my opinion, very oriental.

Maybe not the most unique scent but definitely a really feminine scent. On me, the longevity is fine, maybe because I tend to spray a bit more. Lasted me really long (> 8 hours) and I can still smell it after coming out of the shower.

The packaging is, of course, what draws most people. It looks really pretty on the vanity.

Overall, I love it!

8-nadia

I bought this recently on E-bay for a reasonable price. The bottle was my main reason for buying it.I was also hoping the contents would be nice too,but as the name suggests, this perfume LEAVES YOU IN A RUSH,lol!

kkt

Beautiful bottle and beautiful smell! Very floral clean light scent. Want this perfume love it

2746cstreet

It's sparkly, yet musky. The florals I pick up (passion flower, apricot blossom) have a very fruity quality to them.

BettyNoir

Dreadful, very synthetic and nothing new. A typical floral. No great shakes.

nikoleta1

Nicer than the original, but not long lasting, flowery and pretty.

icingsugar

Oh dear. I like the original Lovestruck quite a lot, its perfectly gentle and romantic. I had such high hopes for this one, the bottle is gorgeous! However on skin you can barely smell it! Even more subtle than MJ's daisy efforts and Pure DKNY. And the little you do smell is like air freshener or cleaner product. On paper is smells a little sweeter and aquatic, almost like flora gucci. But on skin it all seems to get absorbed and dissapears within half an hour and doesn't smell good for its short lived duration. Maybe some sweet and strong base notes could have saved this...some soft vanilla or heavy musk...instead its those transluscent musk notes and barely there woods which VW seems to enjoy so much but ultimately makes her scents fade fast. Very dissapointed by this. It smells almost decent on paper so I'd warn people to test on skin first before buying not just on tester!

PNBP

a pretty good one in my opinion...does it last long or juz cuz i used the sample which are alw better than the one in bottle? but if it does last that long,i would like to purchase one :D

flora lee

dear vera, please stop using the same musk in every release. it smells not so fresh and very in your face (in case you happen to be musk anosmic, which many people are)

jonr951

Very boring. I much prefer the original Lovestruck. But the bottle is to die for in my book! My mom liked it so I'll be getting it for her so I can have the bottle. Haha : )

Lushylori

I love the Bottle. It caught my attention right away.
The perfume that is contained in the bottle is Nice and I like it but it smells like everything else on the market....
Smells very floral with a slight bit of fruitiness....
This would look great on my dresser.. :)
Again..I wish Perfume designers would get a bit more creative with their nose and make a perfume that actually wowed me for once...

caline00

i got it as a gift today and i love it ! its a gorgeous bottle and it smells rly romantic and amazing !

Timetoski

It was a scrubber for me : (

almarie

I finally smelled this today, and I really don't like it- I prefer the original Lovestruck. Although I do really love the bottle.

Klopez

@sweetgirl....is not bad, I was expecting more flowers, better sillage n more longevity. Then again I like floral/fruity/a bit sweet perfumes. I didn't like the opening but liked the dry down. The problem was that by the time It gets to the part I like, I have to literally put my nose really close to my skin to be able to smell it.

Klopez

Well, I tried it today at Dillards. The opening is strong, mainly champagne and pepper. Floral Rush to me means flowery scent which I couldn't detect until about an hour later; but, throughout the 4 hours that I could smell the perfum, it was mostly champagne and pepper. Sillage is medium and longevity about 4 hours but after 1hour I had to get really close to my skin to be able to smell it. Beautiful bottle!!!

almarie

@sweetgirl- Great! Can't wait to hear how it smells!

almarie

I haven't tried this yet- but it looks like the already have it on Macys.com. Has anyone tried this yet?

twillocks

I love the bottle.
