This is such a beautiful girly scent. It makes me feel like I'm in my soft girl era..Dainty girly like drinkinh tea with my pinky up. It gives me more Vanilla than violet or Iris ..it's blended beautifully

Xerjoff's Dama Bianca smells like a fairy? Perhaps, but more like the sweat of the fairy. The exotic sour top note with malt and the balance—or dare I say, the lack of sweetness in my humble opinion—creates a scent reminiscent of how the skin of a beautiful young woman might smell. This intriguing blend of notes distinguishes it from typical designer feminine fragrances, making it unique and challenging.

It was a blind buy, and I'm still undecided about its success. On its own, I find it difficult to fully appreciate, but when layered with Kayali Vanilla 28, it transforms into a delightful vanilla freshie, a category I never imagined I would enjoy. Admittedly, I am among the amateurs who don't typically appreciate the art of layering, but this experience has softened my heart. I initially expected it to be similar to Sol De Janeiro 40, and while there is a slight resemblance, they are distinctly different. However, when layered with Kayali Vanilla 28, they become distant cousins from different walks of life.

Safe Blind Buy: No.
Presentation: 10/10
Longevity & Projection: Moderate.

May peace be upon you.

I was looking for a summer scent and someone recommended me this. I was expecting so much on the Kumquat but I didn't find any Kumquat here, just really sweet fragrance. Although, the sweet here indeed lives up to the marketing and everyone's talking about - ANGEL & FAIRY-LIKE. So it's good for Cool/Cold weather, and for girls who wants to smell sweet and naive. But definitely not a refreshing summer scent like some reviews.

wintersnow7

this is not sweet whatsoever. Its overpowering iris and powdery notes. No fruit. Very little Vanilla. To me, its far more "old person" than Chanel no.5. I have never been so repulsed by a fragrance. do not blind buy.

Paddibear

Sipping on a vanilla milkshake in a celestial Malt Shoppe with violets in my hair! Gorgeous and otherworldly. Love, love, love 💜 ✨☁️✨💜

I get creamsicle from this fragrance. I’m not sure why it is advertised as simply a vanilla fragrance. I find it very citrus forward. However I still enjoy it. I find it very creamy and powdery in a comforting way. The malt note comes through strong in the dry down. I find this perfume long lasting on the skin.

faelivrin

i think a lot of the reason this isn't a safe blind buy is that it has a tangible "malt" note, lending a very powdery feeling to the vanilla, combined with powdery florals. i consider this a modern sweet-enthusiast friendly take on the "grandma" family. this is a cool weather scent, with a "cold" feeling in spite of its sweetness. no warm vanilla sugar or buttercream here! i generally don't get the citrus top notes (or they die quickly), but honestly, once you're down to powdery, slightly musky cereal-like vanilla and purple flowers, it is a lovely scent and it's also the only vanilla centered scent in my (admittedly, mostly floral and green) collection. it is not quiet, in my experience, definitely one i wouldn't go above 2 sprays for daily wear on, and it lasts about 7 to 8 hours on me, if not longer.

Mgrijalva

It’s very pretty ..but if you are looking for something that projects … this is not it .. this sits very close to the skin. If you work in an environment that you can’t wear loud perfumes - this one is for you .
It’s soft … it’s sweet .. light .. well blended ..
I have so many vanillas that this one isn’t standing out to me.. I enjoyed my little sample . This is a safe blind buy . It’s just not what I was expecting . But overall it’s a beautiful scent .

I love it a lot!! Please reach out to me if you have a 30ml bottle of it that you don’t use (regarding shipping I live in eastern europe), it’s original price is.. really expensive, I’d prefer to buy it off of someone that doesn’t want it anymore :))

LNicole

There is no vanilla fragrance done this beautifully, IMO. I’ve brought this fragrance for friends, family, and even my staff to smell, and they all agree that DB is absolutely extraordinary.

DB is a citrusy floral vanilla at the opening and mid, but dries down to most ethereal, gentle, and unique vanilla imaginable.

DB is passable for most occasions and all seasons, however, I reserve her for special occasions or ironically, to savor while I’m snuggled up in bed.

This one is truly a delight, and back-up bottle worthy.

tanja Puhi

For some reason, it smells like a new doll when you freshly open the box. Very plasticky but in a beautiful way.

fairymeist

Oh my god, this is the smell of an enchanted fairy, a princess from heaven, wowwwww, what took me so long to get this

subtlyyours

I have to disagree with the review below mine, I would not necessarily call this a safe blind buy nor would i classify it as being a generally safe fragrance at all. I was damn near close to blind buying based on the notes and swayed by the hype, but I’m very glad that I decided on a decent first.
Is she pretty? Without a doubt. Dama Bianca is the epitome of a pretty girl scent in my opinion, but holy moly I was not expecting her to be SO sweet. The opening does not give the bright citrusy kumquat lime combo that I was expecting. On my skin, the vanilla mingles with the lime and citrusy aspects of the kumquat creating a sort of sour milk like aroma. The vanilla also enhances and highlights the sugary sweetness of the kumquat. The opening is definitely unique, slightly reminiscent of Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid, but totally not what I was expecting and if it weren’t for the dry down, Dama Bianca wouldve been a major disappointment for me.
I don’t mean to hate on this fragrance at all because after the off putting opening, she’s so so pretty. The dry down especially is such a likeable airy vanilla with the perfect hint of musk. The dry down has me contemplating a full bottle honestly, but I honestly dont feel “pretty girl” enough to have this in my wardrobe. As much as I would love to be that girl, i’m the more the type that feels overdressed in anything other than jeans. If you’re a sundress even when you’re staying home type of girly, Dama Bianca is your scent.

coconutbeth

Absolutely heavenly. Safe blind buy! I can't wait to add this to my collection. My favorite (and least favorite) thing about this perfume is it's safe. You can wear this anywhere in any season (best in summer and spring). It is truly beautiful and is not overpowering, just airy and fairy like. I feel so girly when I wear this and I love how inoffensive it is. It's soft but not *sweet* if that makes sense.

Charity77

One of my top five perfumes in my collection. A beautifully soft complex fragrance that makes me feel like an angel. Lasts all day for me and I always get compliments. She's a keeper for sure!

lauanevan

Horribly sweet like Sol de Janeros >_>

Namu1

Lovely. Soft lilacs ,violets and vanilla. Performs best in spring, too powdery and dusty in winter. Sol de janeiro 40 is sweet, juvenile and synthetic version of this.

thelaralavery

Very beautiful! One of the few Vanillas I can tolerate.

ddizzle13

One of the prettiest spring vanillas I've smelled but it's more of a skin scent and doesn't last long.

angagu

soapy and powdery soft. reminds me of the texture and smell of spraying dry shampoo. over time the malt starts to not sit well on my skin though

Arieeane

Can someone point me in the direction of a perfume that smells like the dry down of dama Bianca?? Sheesh. It’s alright. It smells like rose and purple flowers +powder. But the dry down got me!! After like 5 hours. Very strong feminine vanilla

Edit: I found it, it’s eau duelle LOL

vixxiimcmlxxxvii

once the violet quits trying to be the main character (as violets do), this is soooooooo niceeee
the drydown reminds me of this line they used to carry at one of those kiosks in the mall, circa 2005-2006
SeaCret? i think? the vanilla one
i've been searching for that scent in a fragrance for all these years and although this comes closest, i really don't want to wait for a drydown, unless it's well under $100
hmm, the longer it's on though, the less significant that violent violet phase is
it's been about an hour
idk if this is 'for me' on a regular basis, but i can imagine wearing it from time to time, maybe formally, or to impress
who? where? idk. nobody, nowhere, let's be honest
so, for now, 2ml will do...but time will tell :) i think i have space for a 1oz bottle…
it's so pretty, absolutely ultimately feminine (another reason why i'm not sure how i'd wear it)
really nice for spring and summer; i could imagine a bride wearing this at her beach wedding

ieatmon

Oh my God... I was so afraid that I would hate it. But I love it! From the first spray on my skin, you smell this amazing exotic fruit cocktail, which doesn't last long, maybe 30 seconds if you're lucky. It soon dries down to sweet, powdery violet, but with a touch of vanilla, and something that resembles sweet English breakfast tea (at least to me). In the end, after around 20 minutes, it started to smell like a tea cookie! To me, it smells almost exactly like savoiardi cookies. I'd say this perfume in a dry down is similar to Michael Kors Midnight Shimmer, which I used to love.

Chesf

Yeasty and milky grains.
Fall harvest, breast milk, and a woman’s skin.

SorayaKazemi

Oh my Darling. I will die for dama bianca. Absolutly beautiful.

AzureWhisper

Mixed feelings. It's pleasant, but SO sweet, I do find it a bit cloying. Very feminine. I don't really get any citrus to lift it out of the sweetness of the vanilla and violet. I find it quite linear too, dries down to just powder and sweetness on me. Maybe I'd like it on someone else. For violet scents I'll stick to Byredo Mojave Ghost, which I find much fresher and more complex.

Jsaestheticx

I didn’t think I would love this because I don’t usually go for floral scents. But the dry down is extremely beautiful.
It opens with a strong lime and smoky scent, and then slowly turns into very intense purple florals, which I wasn’t a huge fan of. HOWEVER, the dry down is absolutely delightful. It’s a very soft, powdery, ethereal, skin scent. The sillage is more on the moderate side, and anyone is your scent bubble is likely to smell this on you. If you sample this, please wait for it to dry down, especially if you’re not a fan of florals.
This would be a good spring scent, and I would most likely purchase again.

desertdweller

This is a lovely vanilla fragrance that doesn't get too sweet or cloying, probably due to the addition of citrus. I'm not a huge fan of citrus dominant fragrances but this citrus note lends more of a slight sharpness to the fluffy vanilla than any real dominance. I just sampled Celeste which is very similar but the violet is much more prominent and the overall composition in Celeste is more cotton candy sweet whereas Dama Bianca is a less sweet, more elegant presentation of vanilla. Celeste is fun. Dama Bianca more refined. However Celeste has more sillage and lasting power which sadly Dama Bianca has none of. I prefer the latter of the two but will unlikely purchase a full bottle because of this.

Iconic'80s

This opens as a boozy, creamy, fruity fragrance that quickly dries down on me to just the creamy light floral. Whoever said this is fluffy-I agree.
This is my first Xerjoff and I am totally a fan.
This is gorgeous on me. Longevity isn't the best but my goodness I love re-applying it. This is real love.
I would love to find a dupe of this so that I could afford to bathe myself in it every day.

Peyton7127!

Wow ok so this is my first Xerjoff perfume and I’m impressed . Background , I’m someone who usually sticks with gourmand and is not a fan of florals however I wanted to try something new and was pleasantly surprised . The bottle is hands down beautiful . To put into words what this smells like it’s like spring in a bottle / very angelic or ethereal / you do get a strong floral note during top , middle and dry down with a light powdery vanilla .
This perfume does turn into a light skin scent which I feel is nice for some who want to smell good but are prone to headaches . Do I think it’s a safe blind buy ? Yes .

Do I think it’s worth to buy ? Honestly ,
I definitely have smelt this similar scent profile before it’s on the top of my tongue but I can’t remember . I don’t think it’s ground breaking. I think this fragrance is best suited for people who are more collectors like in bottles and name brands but if your wanting to try more niche and you think you like this profile then give it a shot .

Is it a

esotericdecay

a fruity floral vanilla blend that embodies the concept of innocence. bright eyes opened wide in wonder. soft, sweet, and delicate. smells like a frothy malted violet shake. i bet this is what an angel would smell like.

kspangz

This one packs a punch! For me, I get a blast of purple florals and vanilla up front as well as what I thought was plum? I was a bit disappointed with how long those notes lasted though. It stays very closes to the skin in the dry down and much of the fruity florals disappear after the first hour (for me). It immediately reminded me of Sol de Janeiro no. 40 (which I have and love, and even though it's a body spray I swear it lasts longer than this one). I read a review stating it reminded someone of MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold--I do get that but I think the only similarity is in the type of vanilla they both use: it's a fluffy, powdery vanilla that's not too sweet. Otherwise, the bold fruity and purple florals make this one stand out on its own. I don't think I'll buy due to the longevity I've experienced so far, but I plan on using my sample up entirely and reassessing then.

anniemileski

My one true love. So ethereal, light, powdery, fresh and sweet. I pair it with the Nemat vanilla musk oil to make it last all day. Gets soooo many compliments. I’m definitely buying another bottle once I run out, and for context I’m normally very cheap lol.

Bordo

On paper it smelled like a plain floral. You must sample this one on skin! It make a whole lot of different. O skin it soon turns into a complete, beautiful and elegant vanilla. The woody type, with some florals. Reminds me of Gentle Fluidity Gold by MFK. Performance is good.

Dee97

First impressions - I don’t know whether I like this or not. I can’t actually smell the vanilla, I can mostly smell purple flowers, lime, (what I think is kumquat, a very unique fruity smell) and powder, but then there’s a sweetness in the background that’s intriguing. I just received my sample today so I will try it out a few times and see if my opinion changes.

Damaca

At first sniff I loved it and then it quickly faded to where I can no longer smell it. I even sprayed it generously on my arm and the same thing happened. I was ready to buy a bottle too. Oh well. It was a pleasant and soft vanilla that would have been great for spring.

Update the next day:

I can smell it. I guess I needed to over spray. Oh it smells nice. Now I get the hype!

Printeza7

Beautiful, gentle, feminine,so pure and pretty. I just bought the bottle and I find it very weak, perhaps needs to macerate! I hope so. It's a beauty but I am hoping for stronger power.

astralmonad870

Just heard that Al Haramain Junoon Noir is an exactly dupe of this but much stronger and possibly headache-inducing. Right now Notino UK has a deal on 100 ml of this for £118.

jxssicamidnight

This is the prettiest most angelic perfume I have ever smelled.
Juicy kumquat, vanilla, iris and malt really shine on my skin.

It’s a fluffy ethereal cloud like scent.
I wish it wasn’t as expensive as it is as I have just found my new signature scent, will definitely be repurchasing when I run out!

celi

I really don' t get the hype with this one. I expected an ethereal and unique fragrance based on the reviews. There was even more than one person saying this is what Galadriel from LOTR would smell like... I wish I could get that. instead I only smell ripe melon, Iris baby wipes and lots of vanilla. It does not really strike me in any way, if not in the drydown where I am a bit bothered by too much heavy vanilla. Maybe It could be "ok" insted of "dislike" if It was a designer and not a niche fragrance, but not more than that.

finderskeepers

Im a sucker for a good powdery fragrance and this hit the spot. Definitely not as intimate as people say but not too strong. ABSOLUTE PERFECT spring scent!!!

OneSnifWonder

Really beautiful scent; good projection. Thought it might be too powdery but on my skin, it wore super inviting and skin-like. Love to wear this when working from home and get little calming whiffs like little hugs throughout the work day.

White Lemon Sugar

Such an elegant soft feminine scent - Imagine walking through a meadow in the height of spring in a beautiful flowing dress... that's exactly what this smells like. I didn't understand "Powdery" until this scent, it's soft and fresh. I am not a soft girly girl but this makes me feel like one and I can really appreciate just how pretty this is 🪻🌸💜🩷

astralmonad870

This is not beast mode but it's strong like the other fragrances in the Casamorati line. Headache inducing if you spray more than 3-4 times. I have a 30 ml but not sure I'd invest in a full bottle.

Nehal shokry

This had to be one of the most beautiful elegant feminine powdery vanilla scents I have ever smelled in my life . It's a signature worthy scent I would have easily picked which makes me really sad it doesn't last at all on my skin, it has the staying power of a body mist like maximum 30 minutes to one hour then nothing. Not even a second skin like scent, it doesn't last also on my clothes

wondervalley666

Absolutely beautiful. Vanilla, powder, violet. A lot of vanilla, as that seems to be what people generally like nowadays. Not too much violet, unfortunately, as I want more violet. Honestly just such a mass pleasing lovely blend. I can’t imagine many people disliking this aside from the price. Unfortunately I’m finding more and more that the perfumes with the best scents are always the most expensive on the market. Dama Bianca gets a bit waxy-vanilla on my skin. Natural real wax, not plastic. Dries down and feels a bit nutty. Might be why some people read it as having a honey note. Frankly I like it a lot. I got an official mini of this one, and it wasn’t easy to find a sample. The opening is so divine I nearly bought a full bottle righty then. I do find this to be a bit softer and shorter lived than I’d prefer. . I would like this more if the violet note lasted longer. It’s mostly vanilla in the drydown. I’m going to need to test more to decide if this is FB worthy, only because my collection is growing out of control and I still have several bottles on my wish list. I’d say it’s a safe blind buy for lovers of femme vanilla floral sweet sexy girly scents.

Update: I gave this a full proper wearing. I used my entire mini spray. Though lovely, I agree that it doesn’t project much. It’s more of a skin scent. It does last for many hours (on clothing at least), but it’s so soft in general and sticks so close to the skin that it feels quite “sheer.” Also I think the “waxy” note is actually malt. It also smells like some scented doll I had as a child, but better, though I keep thinking of my childhood toys from the 80s and 90s lol. Overall soo pretty but it isn’t strong enough for me in my harsh climate and dries down to a vanilla that’s similar to a few others in my (too large already) collection. I still want this but I’m going to exercise self control and pass for now.

Perlica

When i first got a sample of Dama Bianca i tried it after a cuople of other perfums and it didn't stand out at all. It was so weak compering to others that i didn't even notice it. But then, because of the amazing reviews i decided to try it one more time. And OMG, what a perfume.... it is just incredible. SO creamy, innocent, lovely, soo sophysticated that i am considering of buying it. THE ONLY thing that puts me off is the projection. I don't think 2,3 sprays are enough for me to feel it.. i am very on the edge... it is absolutely gourgeous feminine scent!

rrrouge

This is so pretty and ethereal! I was surprised by the notes; on my skin I smell a honeyed vanilla with a woody undercurrent. I imagine this on a young, warm, soft spoken woman who remembers every little detail about you. I'd wear this with a romantic top with a voluminous sleeve.

myrila

The most delicious fragrance I've ever smelled. My favourite everrrr. So ethereal, soft, feminine and beautiful. I want to smell like this forever

ioanaszmeu

Powdery sweet vanilla with a savory touch. Not overly floral, probably not to scare away the mainstream customers who associate purple flowers with grandma. I love it even though I'm a bit of a niche snob with a preference for bold florals.Wish it lasted longer, the sillage seems quite faint(or i might have just become anosmic to it idk)
My only complaint is that it's a bit overpriced for what you're getting. Designer perfumes feel more potent than this and are generally more affordable. However the scent is beautiful.

cbty

This is such a pretty scent. Airy, cuddly soft, feminine, sweet - like an angel or fairy. It also has substance and staying power - on my scarf I smell it even after several days.
It reminds me a bit of Kenzo Flower but this one is less powdery and more youthful (and Flower isn't mature by any means). Also reminiscent of Celeste by Giardini Di Toscana.
And I absolutely agree with @Pauline99, it has some serious bridal vibes.

Txaki

Smells like a creamy bar of soap to me. Meh.

desertmermaid

I keep being cursed with falling for perfumes that end up becoming a phenomenon years later, but I guess that is the birthright of being an Aquarius...

La Dama Bianca. Soft violets, feathery vanilla, pristine and sparkling citrus. An ode to femininity. Light femininity... the impossible innocence. Kindness that hits like a gut punch making you bow over. Surely no human can embody this ideal. But she can. Dama Bianca is a blessed woman. Blessed with a knowing, with the regality of a princess in possession of a truly pure heart. Desired, respected, adored, protected. I wear it on those days when the stars align and I feel like my best self on all fronts. I also wear it when I'm facing disappointment and need to reaffirm myself of who I am. Finding out what femininity means to you is one of the most empowering experiences of womanhood. To know the beauty of yourself is the birthright of every woman, and adorning yourself with things that reveal her to you is self love in the purest form. For me, this perfume is one of those things.

Cass626

I GET THE HYPE! I am not a fan of purple florals at all but this is GOOD. It smells like a happy, sweet, memory with loved ones. On the initial opening I smelled the fruits so I didn't get that vibe but on the drydown it's very powdery, somewhat warm yet light, and vanilla-y. It's almost like a grandma back in her 20s in the BEST way. I feel like I have memories tied to this smell that I just can't place my finger on. It's very much a pretty girl scent and deserving of a full bottle. My husband's opinion will solidify how soon this full bottle is purchased - I'll have him smell it tomorrow. ☺️

Husband likes it too. UGH I'm so tempted to snag it right now!

Pauline99

I like this! This is almost a safe blind buy if you know you like clean, floral and a bit powdery scents!
Gives me bridal vibes.
I just wish it lasted longer and the projection was stronger

Zahraa555

I don’t get the hype. These notes don’t go well together. No harmony at all. The dry down smells like a dusty date/date syrup. Too heavy for spring/summer. Not ethereal/magical/fairy scent at all imo.

plumtobacco

i cannot get a read on this but i want it okay?

i love kumquat (if you do too try kumquat and myrrh from 4711) and this has it pretty far into the dry downz. it does smell like cheriosa 40 and that whole scent profile to me

some ppl might smell dove bar soap ♡ but i smell citrusy vanilla purple floral powdery soft clean woman. i want this even if i never wear it out. i want to smell this on a woman

eylulalsat

I just got a 100ml bottle of this and after smelling this, the amount of money I spent doesnt even hurt anymore. Dama Bianca makes me feel like the most angelic princess running around in a magical forest in spring with pretty deers. This does not smell similar to any vanilla perfume, truly unique and worth the money imo. I must say tho the cap is a bit difficult to put on and off. I have to pull it hard for it to come off.

Brownsugarx78

Let me start by saying this sent is absolutely beautiful. This is Xerjoff craftsmanship at its finest. It's so hard to describe the smell but it's lovely airy vanillary it's soft and beautiful, could be a perfect wedding scent. There's not one note that comes to the forefront in this mixture it keeps evolving and evolving one minute a smell of fruit the next minute I smell the florals then I can smell a tiny bit of malt coming through this is absolutely stunning. The only depiction I can provide of this scent is a woman dressed in a beautiful white floating dress in a field surrounded by flowers, butterflies, birds and fluffy clouds, looking at a sunny spring blue sky. She is happy she is lost in herself and she is gazing at the beautiful views. This scent is something else. I will most definitely be repurchasing this for sure. I adore it so much. I would say the longevity is fantastic and the sillage is absolutely amazing. This is definitely a compliment getting fragrance and you will turn heads. I would say this is suitable for all ages from under 20 over 60 it's such a beautiful scent it can be worn by any female. Thank you Xerjoff for making me happy.

tilly222

I really wanted to love this one, based on the notes and reviews, it sounds like something I’d adore! There’s undeniably something pleasant about it, that makes me want to like it… but I just can’t. I’ve tried it again and again, and I can’t seem to develop an appreciation for this fragrance.

There’s a strange, almost medicinal quality to me. I don’t get a beautiful powdery vanilla. Instead, I get hotel shampoo or body wash. This is not something I’d reach for, or could justify forking out hundreds for.

Maya lilac

I bought Dama Bianca after hearing Demi Rawling raving about it on and on. And because it has my favourite floral note in it, lilac. Which turned out is really difficult to smell in Dama Bianca, it’s not a main player note. Also the addition of kumquat intrigued me, I am not going to lie. I don’t have anything with that exotic note in my collection. I can maybe smell it in the opening for a few minutes alongside lime, but it is another background note.

Knowing that I love a vanilla scent and having so many lovely notes that intrigued me, I was surprised to not fully love Dama Bianca once I got my bottle. I mean, the bottle is gorgeous..

First, it is a colder kind of vanilla scent. I love warmth in my fragrances.
Second, it’s very powdery and heavy leaning and purple flowers: iris and violet, which are not really my favourite.
Third, Dama Bianca is more of an ethereal, airy, soft and light scent. Not much substance to it, which means it’s not that strong. And for Xerjoff prices, I am not very happy about that either!

Putting all the above cons aside, Dama Bianca smells feminine, elegant and clean! It is a musky, powdery, fresh but not overly fresh, moderately sweet scent with vanilla and some woods! This is creamy, unexpected, classy. The ultimate pretty girl scent!

I find it more suitable for spring and summer weather since it’s so light and delicate. It’s almost my perfect summertime vanilla because my other vanilla fragrances I own are on the heavy, warm, dark, deep side.

If I overspray Dama Bianca I get decent performance, but I do have to overspray and it’s never a loud fragrance, which is something I personally like, I like people to smell me and compliment me. I am vain, I know!!

JrossiLeFleur

I literally just bought a bottle of this. Cello is still on it. My daughter walks in to the kitchen and I think she’s wearing my new perfume. She says no. I’m wearing Sol de Janiero 40. So I come here to look and sure enough… maybe I should send the bottle back and save some money borrowing her stuff for a change. 😂

MuchachaJ

One of the lightest perfumes in my collection. Most inoffensive and watery mix of violet and iris, with whiffs of malt, jasmine, musk here and there (tested in colder months). Almost invisible, with staying power almost zero. Feminine, easy wear for warmer season, not what you usually imagine when think of Xerjoff brand, may disappoint some - but not necessarily bad. Unique, slightly retro scent profile to my nose (for sure no similarity to Chanel 5 or any of Montale creations). Will see how it performs in spring/summer and will update.

elliebie

First impression that I had to come on here and say: the opening is straight Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape. It’s been a while since I sampled, but on paper I remember a powdery vanilla that reminded me of a vanilla scented baby doll. I cannot get over how much I smell like bubble tape.

Scentsitivewoman05

I swear when I spray this I feel like I have similar perfume, turns out it is the same family like montale intense cafe, picture this: replace the coffee and rose in montale by violet jasmine, there you have dama bianca. For the price point, I expect better projection and longevity and let me tell you: this is so intimate projection even right after we spray it, also it started to dissapear after two hours. I am not gonna buy full bottle but it has nice scent though.

Ghost13

This is the ONLY vanilla heavy perfume I like. I don’t mind a dash of vanilla here and there but too much of it sickens me and gives me a headache, this one however doesn’t. It’s ethereal, angelic, and comforting. It’s soft like a cloud and isn’t too powdery either. The top notes really help balance it. I was eyeing this for about a year and finally smelled it recently this fall, and holy crap was the wait worth it. I will say though, not the body spray, but the hand cream made by Sol de Janeiro is VERY similar. So every time I want to be reminded of the perfume I smell my hand cream.

Ethereal is the only word that can describe this perfume. It’s like being in the most peaceful dream, wrapped in stardust and angel feathers. I wish my dreams were more like this.

annikahuhd

Love at first sniff! Very inoffensive and beautiful scent, signature scent worthy. I get the citrus, florals, some woodiness and powderiness - and it's such a smooth blend, too!

Going to get a full bottle at some point 💙

Scentgirlxo

I get soft citrus, florals and powder. This is reminding me of Chanel No 5.

autumnblue914

Very soft and gentle, but more violet and less vanilla than I would like. People describe this as an ethereal and soft vanilla with a hint of violet, but in my experience it's the other way around - I mostly smell violet, which stays light and smooth, and I only get a bit of vanilla in the background.

The violet is fine, just for my personal taste it is a bit more than I would like. But even with that, it is evident that the fragrance is very elegant, soft and clean. The name and the bottle suit it perfectly.

AshLeigh512

This scent is my breaking point and I won’t blind buy again. I trusted the hype on social media and bought a bottle. I love vanilla perfume but dark and boozy. This is a light and ethereal vanilla and I imagine if a fairy’s wings were fluttering this is the scent that would spread through the air. That said, there is something in this fragrance that makes me so ill. I cannot stand it. Maybe the malt since I don’t have other fragrances with that note. I immediately sold my full bottle because despite smelling like a fairy this makes my stomach churn. Try before you buy!

karinavi

a powdery perfume that doesn't smell like straight up baby powder and make me gag! this is very unique, fresh, and gorgeous. a rare summer vanilla, will consider when the time of year comes. only downside is its extremely linear and subsequently a bit boring.

cheleine

Hello you beauty!
In my opinion, Dama Bianca is a very easy to like niche scent. On my skin, there’s nothing weird, dusty or vintage (the violet-iris-malt combination had me a little scared) but no, no hard edges on me.
I must admit, that before I smelled this and based on the raving reviews I was expecting to lose my mind and be head over heels with this scent but I guess my expectations where too high.
This is a softly sweet, gentle and pretty scent.
The opening is reminiscent of childhood memories for me, I don’t know exactly what but there’s something quite innocent about it. The texture of this scent feels pillowy soft like a soft soft soft sweet cloud.
By no means this is sticky or sickly sweet and I don’t agree with the reviews describing this as a thick vanilla kind of scent. It is leaning gourmand but not in an obvious way. You’ll smell like the finest and lightest french dessert wearing this…or should I say…a snack? *wink*
I think it’s a good idea for an everyday scent for all seasons and occasions, it doesn’t feel too dressy or formal. It feels happy, lighthearted, comforting and calming. I really love the fruity opening, it’s so uplifting! The heart is naturally sweet and blends perfectly with my skin, doesn’t feel perfumey at all.
This is a solid like and possible love for me. Still back and forth though about getting a full bottle, not sure if it’s worth the price-tag for what it is.

Edit: I can see the comparison with Gentle Fluidity and I agree, but this is softer (there’s a metallic note in Gentle Fluidity that really bothers me and ends up making me nauseous).
Dama Bianca has more of that powder element as well (iris and violet here specifically reminds me of the scent profile of Orchidee Vanille by Van Cleef - has something quite comforting and cozy about it) and is overall more rounded by vanilla. Btw I see a lot of people describing this as a vanilla forward scent. For me it’s more complex than that. Still, because of the comparisons with other scents on the market right now, I wouldn’t call it a very unique scent. Certainly, beautiful though and appealing.

Pari88

Dreamy!
This is the most ethereal wispy scent I have smelled in a long time. The best I can describe it is if someone poured Givenchy Hot Couture, Hedonist, Caron Aimez Moi and Hanae Mori butterfly with a tinge of Guerlain L’instant-all my loves and mixed them together, and it is absolutely heavenly!!
Not at all juvenile, but has an air of wisdom to it, although I believe it is suited for a woman of any age.

So many differing scents that come together to make this unique beauty. Ultra feminine.

-You begin your journey into a fantastical angelic realm in the clouds: A bright soft golden light envelops you. Then you are surrounded by the hazy and fluffy clouds. Now you have entered that angelic castle in the clouds, and the bright golden rays and clouds are dancing, shimmering and sparkling all sorts of pastel colors, into the sky-you are comforted with a hug that warms you so dearly. You spot the castles in the clouds ahead.
And you see the angel queen walking towards you.

Innocent and maternal, the essence of femininity bottled up.

Perfect for young girls and older women alike. I have tried this in cooler weather both outdoors in the freezing cold and indoors where the heat is blasted to 80• and it smells just as lovely in both, with the dry down being more prominent in the heat ofc.

I haven’t smelled something that truly pulled at my heart strings in so long and I am so glad this fragrance came on my radar with all the well deserved popularity it has been gaining.
I absolutely adore it.

Caramel lady

Two sprays from a sample and I’ve quickly concluded this perfume is sickly to me - from initial spray and whilst drying down.

I think the malt is completely throwing it off for me, it’s pulling earthy in a way that’s not woody or green … just sickly, must be the malt.

Edit: Now that it’s dried down for over an hour, the malt is less noticeable - the scent has softened. It’s not for me.

bafiis

It smells like a hotel shampoo. Nothing less and nothing more. Pleasant but nothing special.

nisarsarah9

Soft, floral scent perfect for spring! Love wearing this!

elleayjay

Wow. This is such a dreamy, whimsical, pretty, feminine, soft, creamy scent! I have not been this blown away in a while. Violet just always adds such an airy, luxurious quality to any fragrance. This is what silk smells like in my mind. I love this so much and it lasts about 8 hours on me which is definitely worth the price for such a beautiful scent. I feel so girly and dainty when I wear this. I also have Junoon Noir, which is like an 85% clone. Junoon tends to lean more woody on me as it dries down, where as Dama Bianca is more musky which I love. Either way, both Dama and Junoon are beautiful perfumes. 😍😍😍

Jojo789

This was the weirdest experience for me! I have LOVED, absolutely LOVED, Julianna's dupe of this. And also really enjoyed Junoon Noir, which is quite close to the Julianna's dupe. I layer them over Cheirosa 40 body cream, which is also listed here as being similar. I assumed since the 2 dupes were so close that the real thing would be perfect for me. I purchased a legit decant of Dama Bianca and i HATE it. It smells like fruity Gentle Fluidity Gold. It doesn't smell like either of the "dupes" I have or Cheirosa 40. The dupes are sweet, powdery, candied violets. I will be sticking with them in the future. I am so bummed the real thing wasn't for me.

If anyone wants a 2 ml decant that has been sprayed twice, send me a message!

thaochipnd

I really like Xerjoff's way of making incense in the Casamorati 1888 collection. In the past, I didn't like the Iris note because I found it too powdery which made me uncomfortable. But this is a divine Iris/Vanilla scent that makes me fall in love and consider it an exception. Dama Bianca is a soft fragrance, like a luxurious silk fabric, it reminds me of ancient European aristocratic ladies. Vanilla, Kumquat and Purple Flowers are very smooth and feminine, making me feel like a fairy/angel in a garden full of fresh flowers and strange grass. It is an extremely beautiful fairyland scene, like in every girl's dreams. If you like royal style like Marie Antoinette, gorgeous dresses, flower fields filled with peaceful sunlight,... try Dama Bianca right away.

Rating: 8/10, like it so much

Blizzie99

All I can smell is lime and malt. Smells terrible to me.

christinemarrie

baffles me that people say this smells like vanilla - it doesn't. regardless, it is a beautiful fragrance. gives me clean girl vibes

Selenitia

Fruity ,powdery vanilla.Comforting. Blended well that is not too sweet. I can see wearing it colder weather. I love it!🥰

Mahsakb

I don't see much vanilla here, but more powdery and floral.maybe my nose is broken but it's overhyped in my opinion. Also longevity and sillage is not as much as I expected

perfumepearl

THIS IS IT.
I ordered a sample from the Xerjoff site and oh my god. The hype is real as it gets. This smells like an etherial soft vanilla. It's a little bit candy-like, like Donna Born In Roma. But this... It's just perfect- it's not nauseating, it just smells effortlessly beautiful. I have no words. I love this. Please sample this!!
It gives me a little bit of the same vibes as Good Girl Blush, but this is blended to perfection. This would become my new signature scent if it wasn't so damn expensive. Anyways, love this, please everyone test this out <3

sunmara

Dama Bianca is a pretty girl scent like many others say. I am not a floral lover, but the purple florals in this are so beautiful. The kumquat and lime make the florals less heavy, adding to the airy quality of this fragrance. However, I can barely detect the vanilla in this. I do get the slight creaminess which is what I think the malt vanilla and musk are supposed to give off. This is a delicate and gentle scent with weak projection and longevity. I don't think I can full bottle this considering the performance to price. I might have to look into Junoon Noir dupe.

CamJ27

I absolutely love this fragrance. I love powdery scents, and with the added of a non-sweet vanilla just elevates it more. It’s a perfect scent for a perfume that isn’t overbearing but noticeable.

mel34

In essence, it is the embodiment of feminine allure, a captivating perfume that seamlessly blends sweetness, cleanliness, citrus, floral, powdery, and softness. The initial spray is an enchanting experience where the vibrant kumquat and lime notes impart a refreshing and distinctive quality, setting it apart from typical vanilla fragrances. The notes of violet, iris, and lilac contributes to a sense of freshness and femininity, but avoiding a to floral profile. While this is a vanilla perfume, it is never the prominent note beautifully balancing with the other profiles.

chloejade

This deserves its reputation online of being a ‘pretty girl’ type fragrance. Wow! So feminine, so beautiful. It’s dainty and soft; this beautiful, clean, powdery vanilla with a pleasing musk/floral type thing under. It’s sweet, but not at all overbearing or cloying. Smells like an angel, or a princess!

diastopnotes

dama bianca is so airy and fluffy. i can definitely agree with the ones saying that this is an “ethereal” smelling perfume. it does smell like how i’d expect a fairy to smell. at first you get the kumquat and lime and to my nose, they stay there for quite a while before the vanilla, the florals and the musk take over. it’s definitely a daytime scent because it’s very light. the longevity on this is moderate and the sillage is intimate on my skin. i don’t think i’ve ever smelled anything like this, so i’d say it’s very unique and honestly, i find it to be signature scent worthy. with that being said, i wouldn’t recommend blind buying this but definitely get a sample of it. i really like the casamorati line so far and i’m looking forward to trying more of their fragrances.

damnyousmellgood

I've been looking for a perfume that smells like the Cheirosa 40 body mist as it is among my favorites but does not last or project much. Unfortunately it does not resemble Cheirosa 40 enough to my nose. They have similar vibes; they're both airy, pretty girl fragrances. But 40 is sweeter, denser, more vanillic and more fruity. Dama bianca is less sugary, the purple florals are quite present and I detect a teeny bit of citrus after the opening. Mid writing I went and tried them side by side and I guess I can see how people think they smell similar, however to me, they're different enough to justify having both. DB is floral vanilla, 40 is fruity vanilla and more gourmand, and I prefer gourmands. Mod vanilla is a closer "dupe" of 40.

It's still a lovely fragrance on its own! I've heard people describe it as a "fairy scent" and a great wedding scent and I agree. However I went ahead and bought Al Haramain junoon noir instead because I've heard it has much better performance. I have a sample of DB and they smell exactly alike.

Tangobutt

Well, now I need to smell Dama Bianca, as it is a sponsor of (and featured in) Duran Duran's new Jonas Åkerlund-directed video, Black Moonlight, which centered around seances and other haunted images. It is worth watching for the shot of it being spritzed on the band members. Not every day a vintage scent, recreated (dare I say ressurrected!) stars in a high budget music video. From Duran Duran's Facebook post: "Making an appearance in ‘Black Moonlight’ among the haunted happenings is the vintage scent Dama Bianca from Casamorati by Xerjoff, an Art Nouveau collection that was revived by Xerjoff founder and CEO, Sergio Momo." Also, the video is "Made possible in part by Dama Bianca, Casamorati by XERJOFF."

ForTheLoveOfFrag

This is an easy wear, BEAUTIFUL white scent. I bought sample sets from Xerjoff and threw this in on a whim and so glad I did. On me, there's not a single talcum, lipstick, or violet candy powder note to be found (thank goodness!)

Amouage Honour Woman is my go-to White/Graceful frag in spring and summer. This is what I've been missing for my fall and winter. It's been pretty cold here on the east coast of VA and it performed so well. It starts off kind of fresh like most scents with a similar profile do, but after about 20 minutes the basenotes ground it into something warm and cozy.

I have yet to smell anything like this in the Designer world. They never have that "cozy" feel while being creamy. It's not boring, by ANY means. It's just an easy reach, and that is not a bad thing. I don't know why wearable scents are rated so badly. It drives me NUTS. If I didn't wear something someone else had, I'd have to leave the house naked every day.

This is what I wanted Blanche Bete to be! That did not work well with me at all. It was an easy wear, just didn't work. So if you want something sweet, clean, cozy (not soapy) sans tuberose, give this a try!

astralmonad870

I primarily get the white florals and lilac from this with the malt vanilla in the base. The vanilla is not too strong but still adds a creamy, lactonic element to the perfume. I can see this being a signature or everyday scent for a high-maintenance lady who is well put-together. Longevity was 12 hours on me.

aanulka

Imagine melted white chocolate on a toasted biscuit that was kept in a wooden box in an attic somewhere. It's sweet, heady, a little dusty. I don't find it to be a super airy fragrance - there's a slight heaviness to it when smelled up close. The vanilla is prominent but dimmed by a powdery feel, and some of the other notes keep it from going gourmand. I don't get any jasmine or lily of the valley. On my skin, it does not project much.

ljsmith

Smells like a freshly poured cream soda at an old school soda counter. Sweet, malty vanilla. This scent is a really interesting example to me of how subjective scent is. I get nothing powdery at all, and maybe because of the soda shop association I definitely don’t think of it as ethereal. IMO it’s more syrupy than fluffy. But it’s a really lovely scent! Doesn’t last on skin at all, but lasts 10+ hours on clothes smelling more or less the same as at first spray.

Maleficent's cotton candy

This is definitely what angels smell like. This or Blanche Bete. But this absolutely induces visions of heaven and airy, warm, soft light with harps in the background.

annamal

First day trying out this scent, and I'm planning to give it a longer test run in different season. But, man, my first impression after wearing it for half a day - ARE Y'ALL NOSE-BLIND?? These perfumes aren't meant for summer or your everyday wear during summer. I don't get how some find them "light and feminine." In other languages on the forum, people pick up on this alcoholic note, but in English - none even mentioned it. I bought into the reviews, sprayed it on, hit the gym, and whoa, I thought I was gonna pass out. Kept catching that strong vodka/wine note (I guess it is malt in the base) the whole time, and it got me a bit dizzy. My brain constantly thought there is a party and I am drinking. No idea if it's the heat or that they're new. I noticed the alcoholic note from the start, making me wonder why they're so pricey, but it just got worse. Thanks God longevity is only 3 hours so I don't smell it at all now. I didn't sign up to smell like a distillery, but since I dropped a fortune on these, I'll keep testing. Maybe they'll behave better in cooler weather.
Smells a bit like a rum baba.

P.S. Yup, this perfume is definitely for a cold weather, then it plays with notes and smells very appropriate. Wore it in -5 but since I live in tropical climate I just don't see it on myself. Very mature smell

liquideggwhite

For some reason the scent combo gives me a little minty feel and it is very refreshing.
Unfortunately not very long lasting

dvadesetivek

It's a nice but boring smell. It reminds me more of shampoo or shower gel than perfume.

nomi00

This is what I imagine a fairy would smell like, it's so magical and soft. It's quite sweet as well but it's not too overbearing given the softness of the florals. very ethereal!

Lilly44

This is the first perfume I made a serious dent in few days, not because the poor longevity ( it has a decent one) but because its so good. I don' t usually bring and reaply perfumes. It's sweet and light at the same time. I would never blind buy it because of the violet and lilac notes wich im not a big fan of and this has easily become my everyday perfume after testing and buying it. Perfection.

IzabelaF

One of the most beautiful fragrances I own. It is so gentle and feminine. I wear it on days when I don´t want to do anything and just want to stay at home. It gives me courage and something to look up to the next day. Even at work it makes my mood better, when I get a whiff of the beautiful powdery floral sweetness. The longevity on me is around 5 hours, on clothes it is maybe day or two.

rensnaps

It's a beautiful powdery sweet floral to me with a citrus that isn't very tart and bright. I really like it. However, something about the smell when I catch whiffs of it throughout the day actually reminds me of another perfume that was really accessible back in the day. The Gwen stefani harujuku lover wicked style collection had a perfume named baby and it smells incredibly similar on me anyways. In a way, this fragrance is nostalgic and that kind of makes me like it more.

daffodilsandcoffee

There's something off about the opening. Dry down is nice enough, it's fluffy and sweet but not too sweet. Longevity was meh for the price point.

Skinterpreter

Before I review Dama Bianca, I have to mention that I have Al Haramain's Junoon Noir, but I decided to buy Dama Bianca after all because JN started to last only couple of minutes on me. :P and nobody around me could smell it, I dont know what happened since it appeared to be strong enough in the beginning.... And because nobody else can smell it either I don't think I went noseblind. So I got Dama Bianca.
It's a lovely, angelic scent. On me it smells like a creamy lemon cake, with a hint of powderiness. Sweet, soft, fluffy scent worth its name for people like me who want to have a lemon, citrusy scent but don't like those typical summer-like fresh citrusy perfumes (like Ligh Blue for example).
Yes, the longevity and sillage could be better, but I'm happy anyway because Dama Bianca is definitely stronger (it lasts up to 3 or 4 hours) and more intense on me than Junoon Noir, even though many people have a different experience and claim the opposite. So overall I really enjoy this perfume.

islandgirlmaranda

Just received this in a decant. This does remind me about 50% of Vanilla Woods and Lovely Sweet Dreams...but this has it's own unique personality. DB has kumquat, iris, lilac, and malt which gives it a completely different twist than those two. This is more floral, airy, and milky (malty) at the same time. The lime makes it a little bright in the beginning. I think the combination of these notes are a little weird, but they're blended well. The longevity isn't great. Just an hour or so. But is it pretty and Ethereal like people say? Mostly yes. There something odd about it tho. I don't think it's FB worthy for me but I'll happily use up this travel spray and decide from there.

PerfumePixie87

Dama Bianca translating as White Woman is suitably named. It is a magical, romantic fragrance. I know it is deemed a vanilla scent but it doesn't read as vanilla-centric on my skin. I get a burst of bright fruitiness from lime and the unique note of kumquat and it dries down to an ethereal powdery floral from the violet and musk. I adore the punchy fruity opening and wish the kumquat note lasted longer.
It smells like a fairy princess in the dawn of Spring, for me it conjures an image of Titania from 'A Midsummer Nights Dream.' It sets the scene of picnicking in a field of bluebells and violets wearing an Edwardian white lace cotton dress. Dama Bianca is sweet, clean, fruity, floral and musky in equal measure. I think one must enjoy powdery scents in order to appreciate this.
It smells like something I owned in my late teens or early 20s that I can't put my finger on. I find the girlish vibe of this to be similar to La Mia Perla and the violet note is reminiscent of that in Celeste by Giardini Di Toscana.
Nice to have this kind of uber ladylike scent in one's collection for those days when you want to feel dreamy and romantic and bathe in your own divine feminine energy!

delyci789

I love vanilla scents and I loved the idea of vanilla/malt but sadly this just had an overwhelming baby wipe vibe on my skin. Just a little too powderey for me! I had to scrub it off.

Xerjoff makes great scents, I love Lira and Italica but Dama Bianca just does not work with my skin chemistry! Def not a safe blind buy, even if you enjoy other scents from this line!

DariaDark

Kumquat vanilla with hint of purple flowers in the background.
I don't know what I expected; I hate vanilla, I'm just able to tolerate it with fruits sometimes (if it's not too prominent). Personal feelings aside, I understand the hype around this one. Xerjoff really does excellent perfumes and this one is gentle and sweet and very unique. Signature scent worthy? Absolutely, if the price doesn't discourage you. Blushing bride scent? Totally, understandable. Royal scent? I can see that too.

I will pass on this one. But if you are into gentle sweet scents, give it a try. It has this luxurious quality that makes it worth the price.

It also reminds me strongly of Safanad from Parfums de Marly, must be the orange blossom in it... So if you are a fan of Safanad, you won't be disappointed. The question is, whether you need both. Because from my point of view, they are so close in impression, that I would only go for one of those two. Dama Bianca is lighter and more day scent, Safanad can be okay during the day but I would wear it more in an evening or nighttime. DB might be better for spring and summer, Safanad for autumn and winter. But both will work all day long, all year long very nice anyway.

iloonytoonx

Wow, this reminds me
Of cap nature vanilla from yves rocher
The drydown is very beautiful but the opening I didn’t like that much beautiful fragrance

scensitive

Very beautiful feels scent.

Creamy cashmere and sweet nothings.

Love it!

brightsun2205

What a nice citrusy, powdery and vanilla scent.

Unfortunately, the longevity of Dama Bianca on my skin was disappointing. Up to 4 hours later, it's gone.

It’s not worth the price for a fragrance with a fleeting lasting power. I'd rather choose Carolina Herrera's Good Girl Blush because it's longer lasting than this one.

Joani_Cheddar

This immediately reminded me of Marc Jacobs Decadence - 1st impression. Mighty sweet and thick, violet plays a huge role. This is not fluffy or wispy, it is thick and sweet. The dry down smells more fluffy.
It is 65 degrees and raining today.

Kjkoni

Beautiful powdery, delicate, floral vanilla. And the votes above are correct- Junoon Noir is a 90% dupe and SDJ 40 is pretty dang similar as well. But we all must be honest here, that 10% difference is in the refinement... DB is just perfectly blended and delicate. Also, Junoon Noir is very linear- and DB evolves and settles into the most delicately airy, powdery, vanilla.

mad_mal

I recently bought this and I instantly became obsessed. I've been wearing it for days and I was happy with how well it mixes with me. I am not fond of Iris, but this is really well-balanced. Floral and a bit sweet, fresh but not watery. It's a happy, classy scent. The only negative thing that I can say about it is that IT DOES NOT LAST LONG and it's really frustrating, especially for the price. So please, Xerjoff Casamorati, make this even better and amp up its longevity and sillage!

maddy.cucu

I own of a full bottle and I wanted to comment something interesting.
I am wearing it today (I haven't worn this in a while). For reference - It is about 80°F today in NYC. I am currently sitting in an office that is about 70°F.

I usually get a soft powdery sweet vanilla with touches of sweet citrus with Dama Bianca.
However, today, I am experiencing a more green citrus or green vanilla - something reminiscent of Angelique Noir by Guerlain. By no means the same fragrance, but today - something with my chemistry or the weather - I am very much smelling that Guerlain green vanilla. Very unique. Not what I was going for when I reached for Dama Bianca this morning.

That being said, I may now recommend doing a year long sample test of this fragrance as it seems to react different depending on the conditions and environment.

Nichole FZA

I literally bought this because I have Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 40, yes you read that right. I kinda like how easy to wear SDJ 40 is and finally made me curious about Dama Bianca. Man...why are they similar to each other? And Dama Bianca actually reminds me of my other fragrance Nuit et Confidences by Goutal.

I got myself the 30ml cute bottle, it's kinda cute even without the signature tassel. The presentation is the bomb but the performance is quite a shy girl I must say, it doesn't last long on me but I am okay with it because it smells great and not synthetic.

elinlinnea

The dry down gives me the same vibes as MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold, but Dama Bianca is definitely more interesting overall as it develops from a citrusy floral in the opening and middle to the most comforting vanilla in the base.

UPDATE: Longevity has been great on my skin. I only apply 1 spray on each wrist in the morning (cause she's expensive), and 8-9 hours later I still get whiffs of this incredible scent when I move my arms around

SSolstice

What a pretty, angelic scent! I’m usually not into powdery fragrances, but Dama Bianca does it well. Vanilla sits at the top, with light florals bringing it all together. I imagine this would be a fragrance fit for a ballerina. Ultra feminine and poised.

punkcat_

Clean, powdery, delicate and feminine. It smells airy and fluffy, also creamy. I got obsessed with this the minute i tried it. So amazing im gonna buy the full size when i run out. Perfect for summer, projection and longevity is also good

RottigrlNYC

Very nice unique perfume,
I have a full bottle new in box for sale. I’m trying to downsize my way to huge collection . If you want it, please PM me.

notes-of-amber&jasmine

Super similar notes to No 40 from Sol de Janeiro. Can't justify the price when the SdJ exists.

InnaSha

I love this perfume, it is a very feminine fragrance, it has been one of my favorites this summer. I love vanilla in perfumes and this is a Summer friendly vanilla in my opinion, however it is not vanilla forward. In my experience lasts for hours. Love

Charmedbymeghan

This is my favorite Xerjoff I've tried, out of maybe 10 or so that I've tested so far... (Cruz Del Sur-II is my other fave)... and I would be buying a full size bottle, if not for the almost exact dupe from Al Haramain 'Junoon Noir'.

I have a decant of Dama Bianca and bottle of Junoon Noir. And yes they smell 98% identical. Smelling them side by side now I can hardly tell the 2 apart. 3 sprays on each arm. And even with very minute differences, I am preferring Junoon Noir because it has more presence on my skin, where Dama Bianca is harder to smell. But they virtually smell the same. DB is fading quicker though, but they did start out the same.

So far, CDS-II is the only fragrance I've smelled from Xerjoff that I think is full bottle worthy. Italica was close, but there was a note in it that didn't quite make it a love (and then I got Zara Majestic Green and fell in love with that instead - super close to Italica, but without that weird note). I judge a fragrance by the juice. Not by the bottle - or the name on the bottle - or the pricetag.

Dama Bianca is a beautiful fragrance and if I hadn't tried Junoon Noir I would be buying a bottle of it. But I'm happy to have the same scent, last longer, and cost less.

shoujomarina

so i pushed off trying this fragrance even though it was described as the epitome of what i would like, "soft, delicate, powdery vanilla" because of its price and comparisons to scents i already have.

but i caved and finally got my nose on Dama Bianca! i can for certain say that Vanilla Woods and Sol De Janeiro 40 are nothing compared to this. the base of vanilla is similar but overall, they are not dupes. this smells expensive and sooo much warmer and multifaceted.

This fragrance opens with fruity kumquat notes, almost boozy or wine-like, and the purple floral notes in harmony create a creamy banana aroma. It's actually NOT what I was expecting and I have been reading about this fragrance for 2 years.

This has a marshmallowy vanilla, banana, golden angelic aura surrounding it. airy vanilla with some lime too. Definitely embodies what the bottle looks like. truly smells like a fairy, sooo delicate and smooth.

this reminds me of Moon Carnival for some reason, but done better

Unique and beautiful. Like a refined Princess...

my complaints: not long lasting, very light. the flower notes remind me of acetone a bit

Briar's Reign

I'm sad to say this, I didn't like it. There's something about it that's just too funky, making me almost cringe away from my wrist. I'm actually quite shocked to see how many people like this. There is something there though, that makes me want to like it, but I just can't quite get there.

Tasherapd

I thought I was over vanilla until I tried this scent. This is the best vanilla scent I’ve smelled thus far. It’s light, airy, citrus and ethereal. It has a marshmallow like quality, although slightly sweet from the vanilla this fragrance isn’t cloying but rather gentle & slightly sensual. It’s an all weather/occasion scent. This is one of the few fragrances that I will always have in my collection because it’s perfect to me. 10/10.

loliirain

Testing out a sample of Julianna’s Perfume clone of Dama Bianca. I haven’t tried the original to compare. But what I do get is a fresh, soft vanilla, a little sweet and malty. I will say the opening threw me off because it made me think this was going to be a citrusy vanilla. The kumquat and lime are very present and lend a freshness to it that makes it very wearable in the heat. It took a few minutes for the strong citrus notes to subside before getting a blast of purple flowers. Followed shortly by a pretty vanilla extract note, giving the perfume a bit of warmth and sweetness. The drydown was a slightly boozy, musky vanilla with a touch of woodiness from the cedar. I can still smell some of the violet in the drydown as well. All of the notes are blended nicely and transition well from one to the next. I find the fragrance quite interesting. It’s been years that I’ve tried Pacifica island vanilla and le couvent des minimes, they are not dupes, but the vanilla extract note in this reminds me of them. My final impression is that it starts off bright and ends feeling fluffy and comforting. I look forward to trying the original to see how it compares.

NaaatNaaat

This is a very woody vanilla on me with a lot of inital floral and fruity notes that dry down after a bit. It reminds me a lot of 'Poets of Berlin' but also 'Wild Vanilla Orchid' from Floral street after it has dried down. It's pretty but definitely not a safe blind buy.

Jojo789

I really enjoy this one. It's a sweet, fluffy, vanilla with violet. It doesn't smell like perfume. It smells more like a puffy cloud of candied violets. It is very feminine and creamy. I kinda see why people compare it to Cheirosa 40 but I actually don't like that fragrance. This one is much better and yummier. Julianna's has a dupe of this called Beautiful Bella and it is really good, too, if you're looking for a more budget-friendly version.

Clairexoxo

In the opening, the sourness of the kumquat is quite off-putting but it calms down by the hour mark and adds an unique pleasant fruitiness.

Overall it’s a dainty, powdery and creamy, sweet, floral vanilla. I also pick up some woody notes in the back.

It has an airiness and warmth which is a reminiscent of a young pretty girl hug. It has a feminine and delicate aura. I love the whiffs that I catch as I move my arms.

I am not 100% on board because of the sour part, but I do MOSTLY like Dama Bianca!

tanaC

Dama Bianca
First impression,

I have quite a high hope for this as I looking for powder vanilla that close to the skin like a bit gentler of Memfisto.

I do like it, but it has a little aspect that turn me off.
There is some bitterness and barny smell in the bg.
I might give this full wear rather it is nice nough to be in my collection

5/10 as first impression

EDIT (8/16/23):
I actually ended up buying Junoon Noir and have since fallen in love with JN. (It's a Middle Eastern dupe for Dama Bianca)... It was a rough start, similar to my issues with DB though. But JN has gotten stronger than the initial testing. It is truly a beautiful feminine fragrance with a twist... and sounds exactly like how people are explaining their experiences with DB. Happy to have JN. I don't feel like I'm missing anything, but I've yet to do a side by side comparison with my decant of DB. Will come back later for that...

ORIGINAL POST:
First Impressions...

Well 2nd Impressions lol -- but this is not all that I thought it would be based on the hype that it has gotten recently in the Perfume community. It's "nice". It's pleasant. It doesn't blow my socks off... it's on the lighter side for Xerjoff. And I don't see it listed but I am getting a White Tobacco kind of note, but I suppose it can be the mix of purple flowers with some of the musky/woody base notes that is giving that... all of the notes make this look like it will be a banger - something amazing. But it is just falling short for me. Especially for Xerjoff prices. I wish it projected a little more and had a little something extra. It's mild. 😕 I have smelled some Middle Eastern "cheapie" fragrances that give this vibe but better.

I was rooting for her too... We were all rooting for her!! 😫

phthalo

Interesting! This is a shape-shifter scent with lots of musks that maybe different people smell in different ways? Opinions from three people sniffing my wrist: 1) fizzy berry wine, 2) vanilla baked goods, 3) a cedar closet. All pleasant-smelling and likable but hard to discern. Sillage is very intimate - I'm unable to smell this from more than four inches away, and longevity is similarly fleeting.

honeyoceans

Bought a sample of this and I have to say… it does not agree with me at all. At least for the first 30 minutes. It has a weird funk to it. When I first spray it smells sour and alcoholic, not in a rich boozy way, but a really sharp and unpleasant way. The dry down isn’t as harsh, but it still has a lingering oddness to it. I like the vanilla and powderyness of it, but not enough to cancel out the cons. If the dry down was something completely beautiful it might be worth the off-putting initial scent, but it’s only just ok. This really doesn’t smell expensive to me.

The lasting power isn’t great either. I’m going to use up my sample to see if anything changes but the first few wears have been unsuccessful.

Gellert77

This is like sweet dessert wine possibly with a slightly fizzy start when puored from the bottle. (Tokaji?)

Somehow "a golden nectar" type of scent that associates wtih YSL's Yvresse, Lancome's Poeme and Givenchy's Dahlia Divin although as a scent it's quite unique.

Somehow more bright early autumn/fall than spring. On the other hand perfectly appropiate for a wide range of occations (weddings, special luncheons/dinners/coctails, church, reunions...) around the year. Although I do like the image of a fall wedding with all the foliage and Dama Bianca wafting in the slightly crispy air... Somehow a "happy and balanced" scent, not looking to fill the room or shout others down.

Sweet, gourmand, a tiny bit flowery with a vanillic malty/musky drydown.

Moderate projection, but good longevity, lasts days on clothes, when sprayed liberally.

Very happy to own a bottle.

Alexx123

Beautiful scent, almost like a vanilla-lime ice cream. It’s a well balanced sweet but fresh smell, not too overpowering. You could say this smells “smooth” not one of those sharp vanilla scents. It kind of makes me visualise love don’t be shy if it was lemony.

However I’m very disappointed with the sillage and longevity. While I could get over an intimate sillage, the longevity of this perfume really sucks. After a couple of hours the smell is gone, not something you’d expect from and EDP especially at this price point.

Tinabill

Some while ago I took the decision to only buy 3-5 ml decants of niche fragrances and not to buy a full bottle unless it absolutely blows my mind. I blind buy most of my perfume (as they are mostly from abroad) and niche is too expensive to risk a miss. Also recently I’ve come to the conclusion that if you dig deep enough in designer and older releases you’ll find true gems at more affordable prices. “Niche” is feeling more and more an act of showing off and snobbery rather than art and creativity. I’ll quit that rat race, it’s not for me.
As for Dama Bianca, yes it’s very beautiful with quality vanilla; that much is very obvious.
The flowers are delicately powdery, the vanilla is creamy dreamy so silky smooth and slightly boozy, the musk is clean and clear without being sharp. I truly like it very much.
The question is: is it groundbreaking enough, with super amazing performance to justify the price? No, at least not to my budget. Good for all people affluent enough, but I’ll just enjoy my decant as long as it lasts.

cyclone1391

Beautiful and somewhat unique opening but the dry down is a powdered sugar like vanilla. Smells rather dainty which doesn't suit my personality. It's nice but at the price I think you can find a similar sent cheaper. My 3 year old walked in and said "ooo that's a vanilla" lol so it is nice.

livelovelaugh0810

please please please.
stop comparing this to cheirosa 40.

yes it has similar nuances because it's a fruitier vanilla, but not enough to be comparable.
i almost passed on this beauty thinking it'd smell like cheirosa, but this is so much more than that.
I get a lot of the purple flowers, which I sometimes find a little nauseating, but here, it's tolerable.
The initial spray is fruity, round, soft and delicate and the dry down is a beautiful, addictive vanilla.

you really get the lime up top and it's very pleasant.

is it worth the hype it gets on youtube and what not?
not really..
but it still is a beautiful scent.
I need to let it grow on me and experiment in different weathers.

aprilrobin

This one was a disappointment for me. This is a pretty and non-offensive scent, but based on the notes, I had very high expectations. I found recommendations for this on my eternal search for lipstick/cosmetic scents. Kumquat, iris, lilac, violet, vanilla, musk, and ambrette are all on my list of favorites, but sadly this just didn't wow me. Additionally, it doesn't project and seems to disappear within minutes.

In other reviews here, I'm seeing this compared to Vanilla Woods and Lipstick Rose (two of my favorites). I'd say if you like this you'd probably like those scents, but this really pales in comparison to both. I also agree with the comment about it being reminiscent of scented menstrual pads.

cdcs

Pretty, gives off white sundress on the beaches of Italy. Lovely, unfortunately not for me, as I just don't find myself on this energy. Very kumquat foward, and I don't really gravitate towards things that fruity. I was expecting more vanilla by a loooong shot.

jojococo777

Very reminiscent of SDJ Cheirosa 40, with white floral. For me though, I find it has an offputting sour/tart/bitter quality. Probably the citruses? On the dry down, it's almost identical to 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods. Wouldn't spend money on this.

mistrall

I really wanted to like this one, but there’s just something odd in this for me… It’s probably the musk+malt combo, it’s giving a slight bitterness that I don’t appreciate. I expected this fragrance to be more vanilla-dominant.

Bibi16

This is beautiful feminine scent. It's fresh yet sweet with some warmth & creaminess from the vanilla and sandalwood.

Nicely blended, very gorgeous! This during a beautiful summer evening urghhhhhh chef's kiss.

Very similar to Junoon noir, but that one has a more pronounced citrus aspect present throughout the wear of the fragrance, still sweet and pretty but no creaminess or warmth as Dama bianca. This layered with beautiful belle by Estée lauder, gorgeousssss.

MissJetsetter

Stunning fragrance that reminds me of a friend from several years ago. While I find the scent heavenly it doesn’t last very long at all. I’d say 2hours tops. I thought I may have gone nose blind to it, but had my husband and sister try smelling it on me and they couldn’t, I’m tempted to get a full bottle but not sure if it’s worth it due to its longevity.

PiiaK

Everytime i smell Dama Bianca i get so happy! If i could only have one fragrance for the rest of my life it's this. I'm in love with dama bianca and i never get sick of it. I could bathe in it if it wasn't that expensive. I don't think it smells like cheroisa 40 but layer those two, it's heavenly! I'm maybe 2/3 through with second bottle and third one already bought. I want people to smell this and think of me, it's that special. Airy, light, hairsprayish, girly, bridal powdery heaven.Best vanilla i have ever smelled. It's an artwork and i applaud Xerjoff. Definately my signature scent. Even this review turned out loveletter like to dama bianca.

pixiemist

I have a lot of perfume, but if i had a signature scent it would be this. It’s beautiful, ethereal, feminine, elegant but still playful. It’s a perfect, powdery, fluffy, marshmallowy vanilla scent balanced with beautiful purple florals. The malt note adds something so creamy to the vanilla without making it overly sweet or heavy. One of my ultimate “sugar plum fairy” scents. This could be worn year round as it’s fresh enough for spring and summer but warm and sweet enough for fall and winter as well. It smells like moonlight, marshmallows and a warm hug.

melleners

Creamy vanilla and florals. The kumquat makes it different from others with citrus in the opening. Love it! It's so yummy. Also, it lasts on me all day and is great for summer.

onjelbercier

This fragrance had me singing SOPRANO. The hype is real! The opening is angelically bright but immediately settles into this soft, vanillic ora of sweetness. I also love the kumquat in here.

This is how I imagine standing in the Sistine Chapel to feel like. Absolute heaven! It could also be a nice garden party fragrance.

I was scared to try this at first because I heard it was powdery. I am now realizing that there are different types of powdery fragrances. There's the dry powder that you get from certain rose fragrances, the baby powder scent (the worst) that you get from lavender or heavy-on-the-iris fragrances like Mon Guerlain or L'Heure Bleue. And then there is this kind of powdery that is simply a soft elusive cloud that lifts around you.

However, this cloud can be sucked away from you in the high heat, leaving a basic, skin scent vanilla. I will not be wearing this anymore this summer. But it is certainly a masterpiece to be appreciated somewhere where there is A/C.

celestial_scents

When I first sprayed this, the first thing that came to mind was Marc Jacobs Decadence. I'm not saying they smell the same, but that was my first thought (the only similar notes they have are jasmine and iris). Other than that, Dama Bianca has a lot more presence than I thought it would. It is often described as ethereal and "bridal" in nature, so I assumed it would be on the lighter side. I do get that "soft" aspect of it but I also think it's multifaceted. I think it would wear beautifully on an evening out. I like this one.

stardenise16

This is gorgeous! Dama Bianca is one of the best vanillas I’ve ever smelled. Very feminine and angelic, but I’m not sure if I should splurged on it or should I buy its dupe Junoon Noir instead. Let’s see.

Ariana1977

One of the greatest perfums that i know. Feminine, vanilla, light and delicate flowers. One of the best silages in me. Incredible smell. Great in all the senses.

alyssarware

This kinda smells like Sprite with cream added. Like if there were a Sprite ice cream, smells fizzy

its.me.aubree

I wore this as my wedding scent. On me I smell honeyed vanilla and gentle fruit. It's soft and vanillic but unlike anything else I own. Bottle screams romance and so do I.

creamyandlight

A soft, sweet, delicately powdery vanilla. A beautiful, elegant scent for a gourmand lover. There's a hint of citrus but no strong bite to it (I think people are maybe only smelling it immediately after spraying). It's great for daytime and evenings.
I'm still unsure if it would be worth the price tag, though.

KladfvbungMicshk

I’m not a fan of this one, sadly… I feel like citrus and vanilla maybe just don’t mix very well? It does smell powdery, maybe overly so, it’s like pure powder- but not the makeupy kind. I’m finding that *maybe* I just don’t like powdery vanillas. Reminds me a lot of Heliotrope by Reminiscence but without the almond. It lasts a long time.

Zoffe

Sharp at first (kumquat?) then settles to a soft vanilla. Slightly powdery, not very floral on me but very sweet. Pleasant enough.
But.
All I can think whenever I get a whiff is "who's wearing the pink Sol de Janeiro spray?". Easy going, quite "girly", sweet and absolutely not worth the Xerjoff price tag to me.

Update: just to be clear, I'm not saying Cheriosa 40 is a perfect dupe of this. There's more going on here, but they're similar enough that my mind instantly thinks of Cheriosa 40 whenever I catch a whiff. Sad but true.

Acarin

It’s beautiful! Very smooth, soft, feminine.
To my nose the dry down reminds of the Givenchy Hot Couture EDT from my teen years.
I would buy a bottle if it wasn’t as expensive.
I bought Junoon Noir instead. Not as smooth, but scratches the itch.

scent.2go

Such a beautifull, girly, fruity, powdery wanilla. Beautifull scent I love it but price is so big, and longevity is moderate. With that price could be longer lasting.

forêt

I prefer this OG so much more than Junoon Noir. Something about that one made me gag, and it stayed on my skin all night and had morphed into something strange by morning. Don't get me wrong, Dama Bianca is also quite strange but I like it! It's a piece of fragrance art. I never imagined a smell like this!

MysticalArugula

If you're a Delina fan but are headed out to a formal event👔💐- this is the perfume for you. Its such beautiful vanilla✨ white floral with a powdery finish that makes it feel very clean, young yet mature🌹 If you guys know astrology- this perfume is great for matters regarding 10th and 11th house placements. Combining networking and community when it comes to one's career💲🌎 Like the perfume may feel lighthearted but there's an aspect I sense that you can get anyone to negotiate with you under your terms. Also I've mentioned this before that Xerjoff is probably one of the best houses to get your perfumes from- since they have the perfect sillage, longevity and originality. It is truly worth every penny!

Each time I’ve played with this sample, my nose picks up a very sour note that lasts throughout the life of the fragrance- a sour, mildly sweet, powdery scent.

Looking at these notes now, I can see it’s likely the kumquat and lime. I won’t get a full bottle of this. Definitely not blind but safe in my opinion.

Love & fragrance#01

Pfooew,
I do not like this at all. From spraying this in the air till spraying on my skin. I don’t know which note i dislike (maybe the kumquat or violet mixed with the vanilla) but to my nose, this smells so offensive and also super, supperr cheap.
0/10 for everything

Lira or fiore d’Ulivio for example are WAY BETTER than this. There are so much more better vanilla/powdery scents than this. I dont even think of this of a niche nor a designer..
I am sorry to offend those who like this.

brandybasisty

I get transparent, slightly aquatic lilacs, gourmand powdery touches (a hint of cocoa?) and something fermented and boozy that's not fizzy. I don't get much citrus or lemon cake vibes, but maybe I'm asnomic to them? Someone else described Dama Bianca as ethereal and I can see that too. It absolutely shines in spring weather and I have no problems with performance--two sprays and I get wafts of this dame for 8+ hours.

kangbi

the fluffiest perfume i've ever smelt, this fragrance is one of a kind! it's so airy, fluffy, delicate, soft, and just so dreamy to me! starts off with a nice citrusy kumquat upon first spray, then throught the day it develops into a gorgeous powdery sweet vanilla. the notes all come together perfectly to create what i'd call a work of art. really does remind me of a lemon cake too, i love this. it makes me feel so feminine!

Lindsayaw89

This perfume is effortlessly beautiful. Lasts at least 10 hours on my skin. Completely in love!

johnsoneva115

A whiff of the vial from afar seemed promising, but when I sprayed it on the skin, there was something very acrid, bitter, and chemical that made it sickening. Almost like a sugary marshmallow that was dusted with rat poison or some medicine. Not at all the delicate, fluffy, violet and citrus tinged vanilla I'd read and heard so much about, however I can imagine (from the very far-away waft that smelled better) how it could be appealing to someone who is not getting so much of the sharp very bitter lime rind distorting and curdling the vanilla.

schnocampy

Dama Bianca is the epitome of effortless and beautiful femininity. Fluffy vanilla, citrus, and powdery sweetness blended to perfection. Moderate longevity and projection but creates a pretty scent bubble within arms length. I would wear this everyday, for any occasion.

89.scents

Now THIS is daytime sexy. Airy, balmy, elegant, seductive vanilla/malt/powdery heaven. I wasn’t sure about the opening but after 15 mins I couldn’t stop smelling my arm. The notes developed and settled into an ethereal spa experience ~ like a honey facial on my wrist. She’s on my full bottle/signature scent list.

Emma_C

It's a sweet yet sophisticated & sexy vanilla, but it smells almost like MFK's Gentle Fluidity Gold and Orientica's Velvet Gold, which I both own so I find it redundant to get a bottle of this. However, it is worth sampling this since there are slight differences.

CSarwar

I smell like a vanilla cupcake and I’m loving it. It reminds me slightly of gentle fluidity gold, but there was something about that perfume that I didn’t like. But this one, I love. It last all day on my skin aswell.

mlrd217

I blind bought Dama Bianca based on notes, I love this at the first sniff! If you love Lipstick Rose from Frederic Malle, you will love this. They don't smell the same but they are in the same genre or category. Dama bianca is more powdery. This is the best and smoothest powdery scent on earth. Sweet, very powdery, there's malt, my husband said it smells like that sweet german beer with whipped cream on top. The vanilla makes it very creamy. The kumkuat and lime give this a hint of freshness. I love this, super smooth, very fluffy and rounded. It's 80F right now and it is so beautiful on my skin. Projection from one spray is soft to moderate, but it lasts all day long.

Liisa7

It’s cute. Definitely special, haven’t smelled anything quite like this before. But it doesn’t project for me at all. You can only smell it if you’re sitting very close to me. And longetivity isn’t the best. I’m also not the biggest a fan of lemon cake (which this smell reminds me of), so I don’t get the same “wow” efect from it as someone else might get.
I think it‘s most suitable for the times when the seasons are changing. For example in spring, when the weather isn’t quite warm yet, but it isn’t winter anymore as well.
I personally wouldn’t buy the full bottle because of everything mentioned above and also because this scent isn’t just very “me”. But I quite liked it while the tester lasted. It didn’t bother me in any way.

Darkrain91

Smells like a hard lemon candy. It also have a smell like mfk gentle fluidity. Longevity makes me mad :/ does not stay on long at all. Bottle looks pretty but not worth the splurge. No one notice the scent when I wear it too. This scent is like a stay home scent.

jaynella

I find the dry down of the perfume gorgeous light airy vanilla malt, but before getting there the first hour on my skin is headache inducing synthetic smell. Im living in hot country, might need to try this on colder climate.

chelseaxreyes

update: this smells exactly like vanilla woods by 7 virtues. Just get that one if you want something similar at a lower price point!

Gauxchujang

Beautiful opening with a sort of sweet honey mead scent. I think it works best as a cozy date perfume or a sleep perfume because it’s something that is best appreciated up close and in isolation. The opposite of a loud fragrance.

relaxteas

This opens with a burst of kumquat, then dries down into something citrusy and powdery. I get the faintest hint of vanilla. There's also something vintage smelling about it.

I agree with the review below.

MabelleBeauty

i dont get the hype with this one its just not good? Where is the vanilla? I only get lime and kumquat

Mayapolay

sweet gorgeous fluffy vanilla and amazing sillage i’m in love

rainydays

Not my cup of tea. I don't mind the powdery base, but the malt and kumquat throw me off. The composition is sweet but there's a savory element to it that I don't particularly want to wear.

suzanne_ronald

Blue skinned and dressed in white, powdery & succulent violet steals the show here. This beauty opens with a burst of tropical citrus (kumquat & lime) deepens into a succulent violet-iris-vanilla heart resting on a balmy & rooty vanilla-malt base. In the air I get the violets - so succulent they are almost like blueberries - and on the skin I get balmy violet-vanilla and powdery iris florals. The violets here have reminders of Euphoria Calvin Klein, and the balmy vanilla in the base has a rooty earthiness that reminds me of Angelique Noire Guerlain. For me this scent is mind-blowingly good.

Contrast to Junoon Noir Al Haramain:
JN is a clone of Dama Bianca. I have a hard time telling them apart side by side, but it seems like Junoon Noir may be drying down ever so slightly sweeter. Out of the gate Dama Bianca had superior performance, but as time goes on, Junoon Noir is developing a beast mode performance.

Contrast to Hanae Mori Hanae Mori:
These have been compared, although I find them very different. DB has a balmier vanilla and is more tropical citrus in the opening, while HM is a woodier vanilla with a blueberry note in the air.

Contrast to Intense Cafe Montale:
These have been compared, but I find them very different - especially the openings where IC has coffee. What they do have in common is in the drydown: that balmy vanilla that is also is Crystal Rose Swiss Arabian, Velvet Gold Orientica & Gentle Fluidity Gold MFK.

Overall: Well above average performance with amazing scent profile, this has been a top ten favourite of mine for awhile now. Enjoy!

battersbyfiona

To me, this smells like a powder-y vanilla. Very fluffy and ultra-feminine. Smells like the air inside a macaron shop. Also smells a little bit like a feminine deodorant? (Maybe that's the powder-y, vintage florals as another commenter mentioned). It's a lovely scent, thought not really to my personal taste. I also find it has very weak longevity and sillage for the price point.

chelseaxreyes

It smells a bit like makeup or like a cheaply made body lotion. It smells plasticky and synthetic. I don’t get any vanilla for a significant amount of time, which is unfortunate because the dry down is the only thing I like about the fragrance. I do get some hint of a “doll” scent. Must try before buying if perfumes make you feel nauseous at all.

Laviejojo

This to me smells like angelique noir and vanilla woods had a baby...I love it.

Holley scents

I love this perfume. I had a sample, and I wore it a couple of times, and it was not love at first sniff, but the more I wore it, the more I grew to love the smell. I got so many compliments. The scent changed as I let the sample settle. I have learned from experience the longer a scent sits, the less sour and unpleasant notes you will receive. This is one of the unique smells I have ever smelled. I can't compare it to another. I'm picky!!! This is highly recommended for the girl that loves fruity, sweet, not overly sweet, floral with a touch of elegance.

Aroverie

A beauty. Ultra-feminine and unique. I feel infinitely happy and girly and beautiful wearing this. An instant mood lifter. The lime and kumquat are a divine combination - not too citrusy, not too fruity. To me, this isn't your run of the mill overly sweet gourmand vanilla. The vanilla here just adds a soft yet delicious sweetness to the scent. It’s not overly floral either, and the iris lends to it’s soft powdery base. It’s just the perfect combination of everything. As much as I love this, the longevity is abysmal. Performs below average in warm weather, doesn’t really stick to clothes. Need to test it out in the cold. Only way I’ve made this work is to spritz some into my lotion/body oil as I’m applying it (neck/arms/chest) to get the scent to ‘stick’ as a base and then overspray like a mofo. Totally worth it though!

SykoCat

I’ve received a sample with Demi Rawling’s discovery set. To be honest, personally i hate floral fragfances, so handle my review with that in mind, but i was curious about this one, because of the citrusy top note and lot of comments saying this is a gorgeous vanilla scent, like a cupcake.

Well, this one is a big nope for me. It is so much sweeter on me, than on the paper, but i can’t feel the kumquat at all, but the flowers are beastmode strong and for me not the white ones but the purple ones: violet and lilac. And with this syrup like vanilla, it makes me nauseous and feeling sick. Longevity and sillage is good. I recommend this to those who adore purple flowers and sticky sweet vanilla. Definitely feminine.

harperpeshhe

For me Dama Bianca is the ultimate vanilla gourmand. The top and mid notes are oh so pretty but the magic is in the dry down. I smell like a bakery of freshly baked vanilla goodies. Although there are quite a few scents that give that aroma, but from start to finish Dama Bianca has me hook line and sinker 🥰

AquaBaby5

In the opening, this reminds me of Sylvaine Delacourte Florentina, but less sharp and powdery. After that point I get more of the fruity notes and citrus and the similarity stops. Meh, not a huge fan of fruity notes with the exception of pear.

Mesude

If you find this a little too soft/ powdery for you try Silky Woods by Goldfields & Banks. They smell similar

kbraun

This is a pretty scent however basically ZERO projection on me and no sillage. This is basically a skin scent and doesn't last very long. It's a shame when these perfumes have a very pretty scent but its like they are essentially a skin scent only. Please bear in mind I prefer to have at least moderate projections on my perfumes. I wear scented body lotions if I just want a skin scent

Nikkicousinp

This is my new signature scent! It's gorgeous, and it's got great longevity and projection, but it's not beast mode. It lasts forever on my clothes and about 11-12 hours on my skin! But I'd like it to project a bit more considering the price. And it's perfect for the office and an everyday signifier scent, all in all!

Shaina87

A beautiful soft, feminine, airy and powdery floral with a vanillic dry down. Very pretty. I love this spring but will wear it any time of the year if I'm craving this scent profile. Dama Bianca is flirty but also innocent. A great daytime date scent and perfect for brunch. I'd even wear this in the office.

pisinoe

Citrusy, fresh white florals. I'm not impressed with this at all. I can't detect any vanilla, it just smells like powder room from the 50s...

amanda0727

Beautiful classy vanilla fragrance in the drydown, but that lime note in the opening annoys me too much I had to let this one go :(

JustAsh

This is truly a beautiful, feminine scent. It’s soft, fluffy, airy and powdery. I picture clouds with a pink sunset when I smell this. The kumquat and lime is very present in the opening, but it dries down creamy and powdery. A YouTuber said she thinks this is how a fairy smells and I absolutely agree. A good way to describe the dry down imo…if you took the caramel and amber out of Vanilla Woods by 7 Virtues and added acidic notes and powder…you have Dama Bianca. This isn’t anything groundbreaking but I think it would be an easy reach in a woman’s collection because it’s so pretty. Perfect for spring, probably won’t project in the winter or fall and the powderiness may be annoying on a hot day but it definitely can be worn year round. Bring a decant because it doesn’t last long and sillage could be better. I won’t be getting the 3.4 oz…the 30ml will be perfect for someone that is not blown away by this scent but still wants it.

I laughed at the menstrual pad comment…and I get what she means. The flowery, powder smells that scented pads have..it can put you in the mind of it. LOL

Irisolar

I initially loved this. However after a couple wears, something about the kumquat and Violet began to nauseate me, and just didn’t sit right. I ended up selling my bottle. It is a pretty scent though.

MatchaCat

A very pleasant musky, white chocolate fuzzy peach scent. Unlike other Xerjoff perfumes, this one stays linear throughout. I normally don't like powdery scents but this one has a fine powder that feels more like fuzziness. Feminine.

Smell: 9 out of 10
Longevity: 8 out of 10

For reference, I'm female.
