No Refund

No Refund

I booked a hotel for my stay in Dubai, but upon discovering that it was not as described, I canceled my reservation and reached out to both the hotel support and Booking.com. Despite calling Booking.com's call center, where they assured me they would resolve my issue, I have been ignored.

By the way, I'm a Genius level 2, and it's ironic how Booking.com is still ignoring me!

Accomodation scammed us and booking.com did nothing to help us

If I could give zero star I would. We have booked an accomodation through booking.com and upon arriving to the said building, we try calling the person that is in charge of the accomodation multiple times but to no avail. We almost ended up in the street. We have informed booking.com about the situation and they said they cannot do anything. How are you going to protect your guest with this kind of situation? Obviously they did not understand the gravity of it and did nothing. We got scammed.

Big fat “Negative” star

Rather give a Big fat “Negative” star. Beware! Booked a trip from Europe to Boston for the Boston Marathon, arranged payment, for 10 day stay in Dorchester, 1 day before the booking was cancelled by owner. Called Booking, get a sorry I understand bullsh*t story. Booking trying help us find something but double the price! Thanks for nothing! 4 different employees later who don’t understand their processing, finally 1 person who does. I am deleting my account and know 3 others who have had similar experiences and learning more why have had these problems. Headaches from this experience. Google and YouTube Booking and learn from others

I booked Workforce Lodge for 6-10 April

I booked Workforce Lodge, San Antonio, for 6-10 April. Despite booking.com sending an email saying the hotel was expecting me, it was closing for refurbishment.
Booking.com asked me to review the hotel after I had told them it was closed! No apologies. Luckily I hadn't paid but the replacement hotel cost me more than double.

I booked an apartment which had broken…

I booked an apartment which had broken headboard, blind, and radiator. There was only 1 food bowl & 2 plates for a property that was to accommodate up to 4 people. After complaining we were moved to another property (at our own expense) which had a leaking water outlet in the bathroom. a gas hob that did not work so we could not cook & a fridge that smelt so bad we could not use. All that booking.com were offering as compensation was a miserly 10% refund.

Cancelled booking without explanation.

As part of a family holiday in Europe we booked an overnight stay in Parris on our outward journey and another overnight on our return journey. With only a few weeks to our holiday, Booking.com have sent us an email cancelling both of our overnights with no explanation and stating that they cannot accommodate another booking. Won't be using them again.

USE BOOKING.COM AS A BROWSER AND BOOK DIRECTLY ON HOTEL'S WEBSITE

Worst customer service experience I ever had: I have found booking.com good, until the day I had an issue with a double booking (due to an error on their website) and I never got any money back. After have explained my situation several times, the customer service simply ghosted me. I would advise you all to check hotels on booking.com website and then book directly through the official website of the hotel. You'll have much more chance to get any issue resolved!

Booking.com only good when you don't have an issue!0

I had used Booking.Com for a number of years. I luckily did not have any issues, however I recently booked a property through the platform that did not match the reviews and was not fit for habitation. Spiders webs across the windows,( this was in Australia) cockroach traps throughout, ants on windowsills with what appeared to be animal droppings. Bedding dirty and garden overgrown. Several phone calls and messages taking up a great deal of the last few days of my holiday resulted in an offer of 15% of the total price as compensation. They stated that my problem was with the owner not them, despite the fact they are promoting the property and give it 4 stars!!!!

Overcharged 360Euros for their mistake

Overcharged after my stay by Booking.com
After my stay, booking.com charged me extra 360 Euros for the accommodation, without any explanation. Later, they admitted they made a mistake and had the wrong price for the apartment and promised to deal with it. After countless emails, still nothing... I cannot even reach their customer service, because it does not take the reservation number (or a different reservation number). I contacted accommodation and booking.com and overcharged them as well... Customer service is not existent.
I rarely write reviews but this has become absurd. I kindly ask them to refund my money.

They do not honour what they sell

They sold me a flexible ticket and when I needed to use it, neither booking.com or the airline company honour the deal, forcing me to cut my medical treatment short and come back hone, with the only option being to buy a new ticket for twice the price of the original one.
When I tried to contact customer support to at least have part of the fee I paid for the flexible ticket refunded, the short answer was "Unfortunately add-on products are not refundable."

It is not the first time I have problems with booking.com, but for sure it was the last.

Scambags

OMG the customer service is appalling, based in the Philippines! they are all so confused!
On 23.04.24, I made a reservation for Confirmation number: 4899813492, F3 avec balcon 5 min gare SQY et Parking gratuit. During the booking process, I specifically inquired about the possibility of a late check-in after 10 PM and was assured by the host that late check-in was indeed possible. However, I was not informed at any point during the booking process that there would be an additional charge associated with a late check-in.
Upon making the booking, I was informed that there would be an extra charge for a late check-in, which was not communicated to me beforehand. This lack of transparency is highly disappointing and unacceptable. As a result, I feel misled and unfairly treated as a customer.
To make it worst, Booking.com representative told me that the host is right and now I can't get the full refund.

Booking.HaHa

Firstly, know that Booking.com is in the Netherlands and really doesn't care. Do yourself a favor and call the property directly. When trying to modify or change a reservation, everything is golden up to the point of submitting your request. Sorry. Request failed. Try again. Get the picture? The property can't help you because the booking is by a third party.

False promise.

Property that I booked in advance cancelled shortly before my stay. Booking.com offered a few different options which where different totally. Eventually agreed to pay the difference I had to pay finding similar.
On returning home they have not paid and continue to send same email returns and not resolved issue. Bad customer service and false promises . I also have a carer with me and these issues have affected both my wellbeing and finances

FRAUD! They basically give away your credit card to the mercy of frauds!

Booking.com is a fraud approving website!
We booked an apartment through them in the period from 21st of April until 24th of April.

The person responsible for the property declined into letting us in and took our money!
So we were stranded on the street at night with no place to go.

On top of it all we booked a place with no prepayments and still we were charged 3 days before our arrival.

Booking.com answered to this: "and what can we do now?"
Avoiiiiiid them if you can because even tho they give out your credit card information you will not be protected, because they don't give a damn who they give out your information and they don't stand by you.

Basically a platform just to connect you directly to fraud and be a part of it.

H S & Co Steakhouse Stratford

Booked before a date at ABBA Voyage. Suburb dinner.
Star of the show for me was the Roasted Prawns in a garlic and chilli sauce starter 👏👏👏
Fillet steaks and ribs cooked to perfection. Wine flowed and staff attentive, cheerful and totally obliging.
Could not have asked for more. Book !!!!

My partner & I booked a luxury…

My partner & I booked a luxury apartment through booking.com for a show at the O2.
When we arrived, after a long journey, we phoned the owner to find out how to gain entry to the apartment.
The owner explained that he did not have a booking for us & the apartment was already booked.
We were stranded & ended up paying an extra £400 for a last minute hotel room for one night !!
We feel Booking.com should refund this amount to us and the original amount as this was totally their fault !!
They are ‘considering’ giving us the difference between the original booking and the hotel.
Not good enough I think
I will never trust them again ☹️
