She prefers her own throne, thank you very much.
Queen Elizabeth II declined to sit on the infamous sword-forged seat featured in HBO’s epic fantasy series “Game of Thrones” while touring the show’s set in Northern Ireland Tuesday.
The 88-year-old monarch and her husband, Prince Phillip, got the royal treatment at Belfast’s Titanic Studios — where they met cast members alongside the Iron Throne.
The show’s creators, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, guided the royal couple on a half-hour-long tour of costumes and props — which are part of Europe’s largest ever TV production.
But unlike many visitors to the sprawling set, the Queen declined to take a load off on the spiky seat, preferring instead to take home a miniature replica of the throne.
During their tour in Ireland, the royals met with cast members Sophie Turner (who plays Sansa), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Lena Headey (Cersei) and Maisie Williams (Arya).
The wildly popular fourth season of “Game of Thrones” ended on June 15. Filming for the next season will likely begin in the fall.
Meanwhile, a couple from California that is obsessed with the series dressed their three adorable pug dogs up in intricate doggy versions of costumes worn by characters on the show.
Phillip and Sue Lauer’s “Game of Bones” included outfits for characters such as Jon Snow, King Joffrey and Daenerys Targaryen — complete with tiny crowns, furry capes and even a pooch-sized Iron Throne.
“It’s fun for them, but they do take it seriously,” Phillip Lauer told Blinkbox.com.
“They are proper little professionals. We have a studio set up in the garage, and whenever I walk them towards it they get excited, no doubt wondering what’s next.”
