Met at Ibis Blackfriars for a Top Deck meeting spot and was super easy being within the block from Southwark station. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a small but well equipped bathroom. Kettle, ironing board and iron in the rooms too.

Place is well located, with Tube station nearby. Room is simple but enough. Perhaps the table could be a bit bigger if you want to be more comfortable when working. Main issue I had was in my second day, hot water wasn't working. Not a big deal because of warm weather, but still something that makes me give a lower score. On the other hand, I was really pleased with the people serving in the restaurant at dinner, much better than at breakfast or some other places in London.

Great check in and out. We were allowed to leave our cases with them before and after the checking in and out. Nice Ibis room. Both type of USB, either side of the bed, but a broken ordinary plug, reported on day one. Nice breakfast, the sausages were the cheap ones though and the bacon was a touch over done.

My stars there are some fussy reviewers here. Check in was a breeze and the lifts to the upper floors was pointed out. We were on the 11th floor and our room was good. Both types of USB plugs either side of the bed, cleans sheets and usual Ibis style bathroom. Great selection for breakfast that was being constantly replenished. Check out was also a breeze and we were allowed to leave our cases as we took the advantage of a nice Sunday day to do some more tourism. Just 9 minutes walk from London Waterloo, we could have tubed it to Southwark, but the walk was simple. Great location for visiting all sights in London and we would return, thank you.
