I have this one and a bottle of regular code from 2007. It's essentially the same juice. I think any/all differences I notice between them are in my mind or whatever variation happened over the 13-14 years since opening. That said, both are light years better than a new batch I tried. Softer, rounder. Not longer lasting from what I can tell but certainly more elegant than the newer version (which felt a bit harsher and more synthetic, which is funny because these older ones are also pretty synthetic).
If you can find older batches, it's worth it for sentimental value and they seem to hold up over time due to the synth nature.

A seductive fragrance for men, Armani Code is a sexy blend of lemon and bergamot softened with hints of orange tree blossom, warmed with soothing guaiac wood and tonka bean. This fresh and spicy cologne set comes with a deluxe deck of playing cards embossed with the Giorgio Armani logo. The unique bottle features a casino-inspired ace of spades graphic, It's the perfect gift for the casino lover who's feeling lucky.
