Inhalt (übernommen): Margherita hat eine Gabe: Sie kocht nicht nur mit allen Sinnen, sondern auch mit dem Herzen. Wer in den Genuss ihrer überraschenden Kreationen kommt, wird nicht nur satt, sondern glücklich. Doch mit ihrem eigenen Glück geht es bergab, seit sie Francesco nach Rom gefolgt ist. Als sie dann plötzlich ohne Mann, Job und Wohnung dasteht, packt sie entschlossen ihre Siebensachen und kehrt in ihre toskanische Heimat Roccafitta zurück. Aber auch hinter der malerischen Kulisse des in den Hügeln der Maremma gelegenen Örtchens bahnen sich Dramen an: Margheritas Vater Armando hat Haus und Lokal verpfändet und alles verspielt, während der skrupellose – und dabei verflixt attraktive – Geschäftsmann Nicolas Ravelli den alten Weinbauern der Gegend sämtliche Weinberge abschwatzt, um sie auf billige Massenproduktion umzustellen. Und ausgerechnet sein Angebot scheint für Margherita der einzige Ausweg aus ihrem Dilemma zu sein …

Zugegeben, der Inhalt ist nicht wirklich originell, aber mir hat es dennoch Spaß gemacht, dieses Buch zu lesen. Es war wie ein kleiner Ausflug nach Italien; die Atmosphäre des Romans hat mir sehr gut gefallen!
Ich mochte sowohl die Handlung rund ums Essen und Kochen, als auch die Liebesgeschichte, die sich hier zwischen Margherita und Nicolas anbahnt. Großartige Überraschungen darf man nicht erwarten, aber bei dieser Art von Büchern kann ich mich darauf einstellen und habe einfach nur Freude an der Geschichte.

Това ми е първата книга свързана с кулинария, гурме, храна... Очарова ме истински с всички тези вкусове, аромати, описания на храни и усещания. Може би ми е и първата романтична, която като действие се развива в Италия, но напълно ме пренесе в малкото курортно местенце, в което Маргерита приготвяше своите кулинарни изкушения. Опитах се да си представя всеки малък детайл на всяко нейно ястие, но... доста е трудно за човек толкова далеч от гурмето като мен. Затова много обичам да гледам такива романтични истории на филм, защото виждайки процеса на оформяне на всяко ястие, усещането става много по-наситено. Иначе лека, приятна история, която може да се прочете и за един следобед. Няма драми и излишно напрежение - само един красив и горд италианец и една изкусителна готвачка.

Cotton candy, in book form. I suppose in this book it would be artisinal cotton candy, limoncelo flavoured, lol. I actually found it rather funny. If you want an organic, locally sourced, cheesy romance with the bad boy who simply cannot contain his manly passion then you are in for a treat complete with ample Italian food porn.

Вкусна, сладка книга за храна, любов и още нещо. Перфектното лятно четиво. Разпускаща атмосфера, нежни чувства и ненатрапваща се драма - книга, с която да си отпочине напрегнатият ум. А и се чете така леко и неусетно. Има един недостатък обаче - кара ме да огладнявам на всяка втора страница. Не може така, срамота!... отивам в кухнята... :)

Свежа книжка за едно четене, която обаче не достигна до мен! С повече чувство се описваше готвенето на Маргерита, отколкото зараждащата се любов между нея и Никола. Така и не разбрах как изглеждат визуално, не се разкриха и като характер.Искаше ми се да има повече описание за да мога да си представя героите и да ги почувствам по-близки.

През цялото време си мислех, че прилича на заготовка за сценарий. В благодарностите стана ясно, че авторите работят в телевизията и нещата се наместиха.
Някой редактор е трябвало да ги върне да си довършат романа.
Иначе книгата става да убиеш няколко часа на плажа, ако нямаш тотално никакви претенции и не ти се спи.

Me llevé una grata sorpresa con este libro *-* de esas veces que no sabes qué esperar, pero cuando lo terminas descubres que fue una historia muy amena y peculiar. Porque la verdad es que no sabía qué esperar :S lo empecé a leer como parte del desafío de Book Jar y tuve unos contratiempos que hicieron que por una semana más o menos no pudiera leer y sólo había leído el 1er capítulo, pero desde ese momento supe que era una historia que resultaría entretenida :D
Ya después un día que no tenía muchas cosas que hacer fue cuando me puse a leer y practicamente lo terminé ese día, porque además de todo es bastante corto, pero se lee de tal forma que no se hace tedioso, no es del todo predecible y los personajes me han caído bastante bien, la mayoría, porque hay un par que no hay manera de ayudarles.
Además de todo, trae las recetas que se mencionan a lo largo de la historia, lo cual se agradece bastante para gente que como yo que nos gusta cocinar o al menos hacemos el intento. Así que sin duda se las recomiendo si quieren pasar un buen rato, seguro que lo leen en un día porque se va súper rápido y se disfruta bastante :)

When I read the description, I was sure I was going to love this one. Food, wine, and romance set in Italy- what's not to love? This may have been a case of poor translation but I found the writing to be dull and wooden, unless it was about the food. Those sections shone but the rest of the story was predictable and the majority of the characters were quite irritating. Perhaps I would have a different experience if I'd read it in its original Italian. Alas!

Италианците са като заря- бляскави и емоционални до лудост ( казано с любов )
Такава е и тази книга, която няма претенции да влезе в аналите на литературата.
Лека като полъх на вятър в нагорещеното лято , наивна и простовата, какъвто всъщност е и живота, ако не му придаваме повече смисъл, отколкото е необходимо.
Чете се буквално на екс.
Има намигване към филма "Хубава жена" с решението на Никола да произвежда нещо качествено.
Толкова много вкусове и усещания са съчетани в нея, като някакъв божествен десерт.
Ще трябва да пробваме някоя от рецептите, няма как.
Такава е и тази книга, която няма претенции да влезе в аналите на литературата.

Un libro rápido de leer, te engancha tanto la historia como los personajes.
Me ha gustado cómo la autora involucra el romance con la comida, y me ha fascinado que vengan las recetas de los platillos que cocinó nuestra protagonista (espero animarme a hacer alguna de ellas...)
Un libro que me ha sorprendido mucho, me gustó mas de lo que esperaba...

The concept sounded interesting: cooking, food ethics, Italy. So I looked forward to reading this book. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to its promise. There were so many cliches that I laughed out loud a couple times. The characters were cardboard caractures. It was a very unsatisfying read.

2.5 I was craving something Italian with luxurious words and mouthwatering delights in the vein of marlena do blasi... this did not suffice :-( I quit at 30% and read the last few chapters, sadly it did zilch for me, felt cliche and stiff....

Salve lettori!
Mi sono da poco affacciata al mondo degli audiolibri, complici le promozioni da quarantena, e il primo libro che ho deciso di ascoltare è “L’amore è un bacio di dama”, scritto da Elisabetta Flumeri e Gabriella Giacometti, letto da Stefania Rusconi per Storytel.
Si tratta di un romanzo rosa di qualche anno fa ambientato tra i colli della Maremma e ricco di ricette culinarie.
La protagonista di questa storia è Margherita, una donna che, dopo anni passati a Roma con il marito Francesco, si accorge di non stare vivendo la sua vita ma l’ombra di quella che potrebbe essere. La fatidica “secchiata d’acqua ghiacciata” è una giornata nella quale si susseguono così tante brutte notizie da farle mettere tutto in discussione. Così Margherita si mette ai fornelli per schiarirsi le idee e poi, con il suo zoo personale, fa “armi e bagagli” e lascia il marito tornando a Roccafitta, la sua città natale.
“Francesco aveva gli occhi lucidi e la voce un po’ tremante quando le chiese: «Che farò adesso?».
Margherita lo fissò dritto negli occhi, poi sorrise «Francamente me ne infischio!», gli voltò le spalle e lo lasciò da solo.”
A Roccafitta Marghi ha lasciato il vecchio ristorante ormai chiuso di mamma Erica e un padre fuori dagli schemi, Armando, con il vizio del gioco.
A Roccafitta troviamo un ampio ventaglio di personaggi: Giulia con le sue api, Matteo (il migliore amico di Margherita), il Signor Giovanale con i suoi debiti, ma soprattutto Nicola Ravelli e la sua assistente Claudio (o meglio dire “Ghiacciolo al Limone”).
Nicola è interessato ad acquistare dei terreni per produrre del vino per gli asiatici, per questo ha affittato una villa dove tiene delle cene di lavoro, ma ha bisogno di un cuoco per le occasioni.
Chi meglio di Margherita? Lei avrebbe voluto ripartire direttamente dal ristorante della madre, ma le servono soldi per farlo, quindi non ha scelta.
Così, tra gli incantevoli luoghi della Maremma e le sue atmosfere assistiamo alle avventure e alle disavventure di tutti loro, ovviamente il tutto accompagnato con del vino DOCG e dalle fantastiche ricette di Margherita, baci di dama compresi!
Che dire? Come prima esperienza non c’è male: ho amato il fatto di poter sbrigare alcune faccende e godermi al tempo stesso un buon libro, così come rilassarmi a fine giornata ascoltando qualche capitolo. Devo ammettere però che aggiungere dei segnalibri virtuali non appaga l’istinto da lettrice di sottolineare, anche perché interrompere la narrazione per tornare indietro e “segnare” la parte desiderata in certi momenti è quasi impossibile, soprattutto quando si è totalmente presi dalla storia!
I miei complimenti per questa “lettura” vanno, oltre alle autrici, alla fantastica lettrice che ha saputo dare le giuste intonazioni in ogni momento, suonando come la voce che sento nella mia mente quando leggo un libro, permettendomi così di immergermi totalmente nella storia.
La storia è narrata da una terza persona che racconta le storie di tutti i personaggi facendole intrecciare sapientemente tra loro.
È un piacere conoscere ciascuno di loro, vedere ciò che pensano.
Sinceramente non so dirvi se leggendo si abbia la stessa impressione, ma ascoltando non pesa affatto la terza persona che narra anche i pensieri.
Lo stile del romanzo è quello di una commedia, ho riso un sacco, e nel corso della storia compaiono citazioni o riferimenti a film e libri (come la mia preferita in assoluto nella storia del cinema, il “Francamente me ne infischio!” di Clark Gable in “Via col vento” non si batte).
È una lettura-ascolto che consiglio assolutamente a chi vuole passare qualche ora, poco più di otto per la precisione, in compagnia di un’allegra combriccola e di un po’ di romanticismo, che non fa mai male.
In più per il romanzo e in un’appendice finale si trovano tante ricette e consigli culinari.

Мога да кажа че беше любов от пръв поглед. Е не между Маргарита и Никола, те трябваше да се постарая малко повече, но в момента в които видях тази книга, знаех че ще ми хареса. Стане ли въпрос за книги шестото ми чуство е по-добро и от радарите на НАСА. Мога да ви кажа че седнах и не станах докато не стигнах края. За мен това е една прекрасно написана любовна история, която когато я завърших ми се прийска да си сготвя и за мен едни шоколадови кексчета ;Р

If you enjoy culinary novels, with romance, recipes, and Italian men, then you have to read this one. Set in the hilltop villages and vineyards of Tuscany, Margherita's Notebook, is sensual, and heart-warming. I loved it, and hope to see more of this author's writing.

Me ha encantado. Este libro combina las dos cosas mas ricas del mundo, la comida y el amor. Los personajes están muy bien planteados y es muy fácil engancharse con cada uno de ellos. Lo bueno es que no solo te cuenta la historia de una mujer que se propuso hacer un cambio en su vida para lograr salir de la monotonía y ser feliz; sino que también cuenta la historia de un padre viudo adicto a las apuestas que se enfrenta a situaciones difíciles económicas que lo llevan a perder a personas importantes y amadas de su vida. Cuenta la historia de un hombre que aprende el significado de las cosas simples de la vida y como esta no se basa solo en el dinero. Una de las cosas que mas me ha gustado de este libro es que cuenta la historia de varios personajes. No se hace muy cursi ni tedioso, de hecho es muy cómico. Uno puede apreciar una gran evolución en el personaje femenino principal. Y todo esto ligado a una fusión de culturas y sabores exquisitos. Yo les recomiendo tener algo a la mano para picar mientras leen porque con tantos sabores, provoca. Además al final el libro nos trae el recetario de Margherita lo cual para aquellos amantes de la cocina y aquellos que quieran atreverse, les resulta practico. Me ha encantado la manera de escribir de las autoras, realmente me ha gustado. Yo lo recomiendo mucho. Es un libro que me ha hecho desear visitar Italia y fusionarme con esa bella cultura y sus sabores.

Through the story, we got to follow Margherita through a very significant change in her life.
She is betrayed by her husband and moves back home.
Quickly she realized she hadn't been that happy where she was living, with her job choices or with her husband.
Now she's back home with her dad. There's definitely some similarities between her deceitful husband and her father.
Her dream had always been to take over her mother's restaurant one day.
But she is far from making that dream a reality.
She takes a job cooking for an intriguing man named Nicola. I wasn't sure I was going to like him, I was afraid she was involving herself with another bad choice.
But through the meals she cooks for him, they connect and depend on each other. A softer side is shown of both of them and they're both quite feisty/stubborn people.
I loved all the food descriptions. Clearly Margherita found her calling in life.
As satisfying conclusion to the story. We met her at her lowest and watched as everything about her life changed.

While there is quite a bit of dialog in the book, I fell in love with Margherita's story through the expressive writing. The artistic descriptions of food make you want to go into your kitchen and start cooking.
As for the story of the book. Margherita is starting her life over and decides to pursue her passion - cooking. While dealing with the debt that her father has accrued against her late mothers' restaurant, you see what a kind and forgiving person Margherita is. As for her romance with Nicola - some scenes are a bit sensual and steamy, but there isn't anything explicit in the book.

It was such fun to read an advance ebook of this newly translated Italian story while staying in Florence, savoring some of the sights and sounds of Tuscany. The romance is light and fun, the heroine determined, and the recipes tempting. Love triumphs in the end and Margherita's hopes are all fulfilled. I'm only sorry I'll have to wait till returning home to see if I can recreate some of the treats so deliciously presented throughout the novel.

A mí me gusta leer estas historias, o novelas; porque son para pasar un rato, sacan una que otra risa, no resultan siendo tan memorables como para que quede grabada en tu mente, pero te sacan de afán cotidiano.
Es una narrativa sencilla, que te lleva casi en un dos por tres en todo su contenido; combina algo que mis abuelas me enseñaron al cansancio y es que el buen amor, está relacionado con la cocina, con sentir, con identificar y dar gusto a través de aromas y sabores. Entonces hay una identificación personal, como hay una identidad de familia, de las relaciones entre estas, la consecuencia de las ausencias y lejanías.
Me gusto el predominio que Marge, la protagonista tiene, en su fortaleza, en hacerse respetar, en asumir sus decisiones, el demostrar que en este caso, “ser cocinera”, no devalúa, más bien logra dar un enfoque fuerte y resoluto frente a la incredulidad, machista- diré yo – y el dominio del dinero sobre la rectitud e incluso la ética. Es muy cotidiana, simple, no tiene nada entre hecho, es como si la vecina te contar los asuntos de un pueblo, donde todo ocurre, todo es impredecible y hasta utópico. Hay todo lo que dentro de un lenguaje hogareño, cálido, natural puede haber, amor, celos, intriga, envidia, venganza, recuerdos, amor filial, de pareja, seducción, una insinuante pasión, en fin..
Las autoras, nos ofrecen a una mujer fuerte, con la capacidad de ser y querer cambiar, frente a la frialdad masculina que oculta unas emociones de infancia fuerte, triste. Yo les digo, acá hay todos los matices, nada con profundidad, pero si lo que un día podría sucederse. En lo romántico, pues todo en realidad alrededor de la cocina, un erotismo gracioso que se devana desde los sabores, la coquetería de un plato bien servido, y lo que produce a la vista, eso sí.
Y claro, no dejare por fuera, lo bien construida la participación de las recetas, incluido compendio, van dos o tres en lista para ponerlas en práctica.
Pueden divertirse, cuando estén fuera del contexto anímico para otras lecturas.!

Era dall'anno di uscita che cercavo di leggere questo romanzo, intrigata dal titolo e perché generalmente le storie (non necessariamente romantiche) in cui il cibo fa da padrone mi sono sempre piaciute.
Ebbene, ho finalmente avuto modo di leggerlo mediante l'audiolibro e devo dire che l'ho trovato... Buono. Mi aspettavo forse qualcosina in più e invece in alcuni punti era un tantino prevedibile e scontato, con una grande caduta di stile della protagonista che decide di approfittare delle proprie conoscenze culinarie per cucinare una cena a base di tutte le cose di cui la sua rivale in amore potrebbe essere allergica... E quando chiede perdono al suo love interest per il suo gesto, lui non si scompone neanche un po' se non per una risata! Le reazioni allergiche non sono la miglior cosa su cui fare ironia, ma forse questo è dovuto agli strascichi del genere romantico di far passare gesti irrazionali come romantici quando nella vita reale scapperemo a gambe levate dai responsabili di tali gesti, strascichi dai quali per fortuna sempre più scrittrici si stanno allontanando.
E allora perché nonostante questi difetti gli ho assegnato 3 stelle? Perché comunque ho molto apprezzato il ben riuscito connubio eros-cibo, le digressioni sulle diverse ricette che mi hanno fatto venire l'acqualina in bocca e soprattutto una cosa che mi capita di riscontrare raramente nei romanzi rosa che leggo: la scrittura in terza persona. Spesso la prima persona è abusatissima dalle scrittrici di tal genere, pensando di arrivare maggiormente a chi legge, e invece tante volte non è la voce adatta alla storia narrata e sono felicissima che questo romanzo seppur imperfetto sia stato scritto in tal modo.
