Yves Saint Laurent presents its annual limited edition Paris Premieres Roses in the spring of 2016. The fresh and sumptuous scent that evokes a spring bouquet of roses is available as an Eau de Printemps.

The invitation to experience the spark of love in the heart of a Paris night Eau de Toilette is announced as a breath of spring, a light breeze of roses and a sweet floral scent. Wild rose hip, violet leaf and neroli open the scent. The heart of Damascus rose is enriched with peony and the creamy elegance of lily of the valley. Delicate white musk and warm sandalwood end the composition.

Top notes: wild rose hip, neroli, violet leaves
Heart: Damask rose, peony, lily of the valley
Base: sandalwood, white musk

This year's package is inspired by the love cards sent by Mr. St. Laurent. The black lacquer bottle is adorned with his favorite motifs: hearts and stars. The fragrance is available as a 125 ml Eau de Printemps.

I'll be excited to try this! It's notes remind me of many of the Narciso Rodriguez offerings but it will be great to see them with the YSL twist. Though I'm 41, I still love the stars and hearts so I'd love it if this fume works for me so I can own this cutesy bottle!

I think the bottle design is great. Very modern and sure to appeal to tween-to-twentysomething market that YSL has been pursuing lately.

Printemps is used to describe "of spring". Like Chanel springtime suits will be labeled as Printemps. So eau de printemps is "of the spring".

Yves Saint Laurent, why? I ask you, why did you design a bottle that looks cheapy weepy?

I think it's just a label that suggests that the company thinks of it as a "springtime perfume". I've seen some fragrances labelled "eau d'ete" (summer perfume), so I assume this is a similar idea, but for spring.

It's not a specific concentration, I don't think.

Can we get a definition for "eau de printemps"? Like where does it stand amongst EDP, EDT, eau fraiche, etc... Google is not helping.

The bottle looks like something you would find at Rue 21.

Looking forward to testing this fragrance but sorry the bottle looks a bit cheap. Like a Britney Spears Curious Wannabe.

Reading the notes, I hope it's going to smell something like Nivea

I think the bottle is following in trend, the scent sounds fresh, I too was surprised at the black opium with its glittery young bottle. I think YSL caught it's crowd in generations past, which carried into (I'm 40 so ill say ...) into the middle age crowd, and now we're/they're passing it onto the younger generation of perfume lovers. Not to say a powerhouse like YSL can't keep it old school and still be on top. But I can appreciate them opening the doors and freshening the airs. I can't wait to get a whiff of this new scent.

What a horrible bottle, it seems designed by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.

However, the notes sound fine, so I think I'll give a chance to this one.
