fubar

Typical mancera, having good projection and good sillage.
Good Oud scent, and couples with the sweetness of the citrus/mint well.
Only thing I didn't like is that it had a very "Mancera-y" scent.

NoirMemoir

I've blind bought Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint because of the hype. I jumped on it before the prices slightly crept up at discounters, payed about 55 dollars for a tester bottle. I don't regret the purchase at all but it doesn't rock my world eighter. At the end of the day im glad i have it because i foresee it growing on me alot in the future.

This fragrance is an often mentioned example on Pierre Montale (Reppelin)'s tendencies to name fragrances according to notes you can't actually smell in the fragrance itself. Both the lemon and the mint aren't detectable yet the fragrance has a freshness to it. Maybe the accords are there but it feels like they are afraid to come out so they hide under the bed, barely peeking out. Don't expect a pronounced tart freshness that lemon provides, nor is there a sign of a strong and cold mint. It isn't oudy eighter like a middle eastern fragrance is so nothing to be afraid of in that regard.

I think the brief was simple, they wanted to make a fragrance like Bleu de Chanel or Dior Sauvage that doesn't actually smell like those two. To me Aoud Lemon Mint is a "blue" fragrance, ultraversatile, all seasons, any ocassion, works dressed up or casual wear. Despite the freshness, it doesn't strike me as an invigorating scent, like an aquatic, salty or lemony fragrance does. I feel the same way about every blue fragrance tho, they are blue jeans and t shirt scents and not hawaian shirt with flip flop vibes.

My only negative remark is that in the drydown, im talking 2-3 hours into the scent, there's a leather accord coming out more and more and im not a fan of it. I smell that same type of leather in Hugo Boss The Scent Le Parfum and i didn't enjoy it there eighter. Im hoping that it doesn't bother me as much when actually wearing the fragrance as opposed to testing it and smelling it from upclose, im yet to give it a proper wearing. The scent seem to darken quiet a bit once the fresh notes dissipate.

chituron

opening starts off with a potent citrus note along with a nutty oud undertone. a bit harsh, but nice overall. dries down to a minty-earthy smell which i quite enjoy. the almond note definitely stays throughout. strong projection, as well as longevity. can get quite cloying and headache inducing in hot weather (25 degrees+), but is generally an all-season wear and quite versatile. can't really call it mass appealing as i've gotten quite a lot of mixed reactions to this. personally, i enjoy this quite a lot.

I was wary with this one since I tend to dislike patchouli and leather notes - but I'm so glad I gave this a shot! I'll admit the opening was a little harsh for me, even as someone who loves citrus scents, but it didn't stay too sharp for too long.

I got an initial hit of patchouli and mint with the lemon and spice that blended in well. Remained mildly and pleasantly synthetic throughout the drydown and the lemon stayed strong with a leather/amber base. My fiancee was still complimenting it 6 hours after spraying!

After about 8 hours it turned into such a nice, sweet vanilla skin scent.

First full bottle niche and easily one of my favorites in my new collection.

kalza

Mouth watering lemon with a deep oud base. I feel like the mint creates a fresh type of sensation to the scent, but to me it is not as potent as other people have said in their reviews. Projection and performance are solid. 4-5-ish hours into wearing the lemon dries down, becomes more subtle. I love it!

Leiknma

For me, I don’t see this fragrance as super wearable because of the potency of the mint (might be personal taste), but I’ve been using it as a room spray and my goodness can this fragrance fill space. Sprayed once into the air upstairs, I could smell it in my kitchen downstairs 6 hours later. Although for the potency, I find the scent extremely inoffensive and pleasant.

It really is a lovely smell, but I just don’t really see it being something that I’d like to wear.

rensis

If someone were to ask me to recommend just one Mancera, this would be it. Not because this is my favourite but because it has it all. It's heavy enough for cold weather. It's fresh enough for hot weather. It is good for the outdoors. It is good for the office. Heck, it's even good for the gym. It has that signature Mancera synthetic fresh oudiness that makes it a staple for the brand. It's niche enough for the curious. It's designer-like enough to be a safe blind buy.
Even with hype-beast like Cedrat Boise some super-snobs can go "Eww, it's just an Aventus clone." There is nothing else out there like Aoud Lemon Mint. It is completely its own thing. And it's beautiful.

Wafuls

This fragrance is fantastic and I think it’s misrepresented by these reviews. First of all I don’t understand the complaints about the opening being harsh. To me it’s just a stronger almond scent and a vanilla like sweetness with a sharp citrus note. This late drys down to a much less prominent note with a base of vanilla and the prominent lemon top note. The mint can be detected but only if you’re searching for it. The projection is fantastic, but the longevity leads a little something to be desired lasting around 4-6 hours. Overall for the price this is one of the absolute best fragrances you can buy, and is an amazing first niche.

FRESHST4RT

oh my dear aoud lemon mint, where do i even begin. This splended and uttmost desireable masterpeice of a fragrance is everything ive ever wanted. it's projection and logevity make 2 to 3 sprays more than enough. this beauty can be worn practically anywhere at anytime. Wether it be a daily, signiture scent, or worn out to a date during the summer, this will always be a good option. The dislike ratings on this fragrance baffle me. such a masterpiece doesn't deserve to be stomped on in such a way.

in all seriousness this thing is great im getting a full bottle once i get the money

longevity 9/10 (9-10h)
sillage 10/10 (4-6 feet, then settles down to 1-2 feet)
smell 9.5/10. it could use a LITTLE less oud but not a lot to complain about
price value: 10/10 70-90 bucks

Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint

I blind bought this fragrance since I couldn’t find samples anywhere and no nearby stores carried it. Although It probably isn’t blind buy safe, I absolutely love it! The opening may be harsh to some, as you are blasted with a strong nutty lemon scent. Once it dries down, it is a nice, fresh, lemon/oud/almond scent. I love the versatility with this fragrance. You can get away with wearing this all seasons, day and night, but I like wearing it the most during Spring, Summer, and Fall. The longevity and projection is amazing. The scent isn’t the most mass appealing but I think most fragrance connoisseurs will appreciate the scent profile.

Here are my ratings for some different categories:

Scent: 20/10
Longevity: 10/10
Projection: 10/10
Price Value: 9/10 (Buy from discounters)
Versatility: 10/10
Gender: Unisex, leans slightly more to male
Overall rating: 10/10

Aoud Lemon Mint was my first niche fragrance and in my opinion is one of the best colognes in the $70-$80 range! I bought my bottle from Jomashop, $78 shipped. I highly recommend giving it a try if you can!

Richarddanny83

What weather to wear this?
The lemon is turned all the way up and its super bright; too much for winter. Very woody from oud leather vetiver, too much for summer.
When and where to wear this?

Sarjoz

Leans a little too floral and feminine for me (and perhaps a little young/candyshopish). Its a challenging one to describe - someone below mentioned ‘babywipe’ like, and okay, I get that too. Potpouri? A lot of these dont quite translate to a reachable body perfume.
Maybe more mint? Maybe more lemon? Maybe less musk and jasmine? Just doesnt work for me.
The best way I can describe it - its like when you see a boiled sweet say a raspberry drop and cant wait to feel that fruity, punchy raspberry hit on your tongue…but all you get is a hint of actual fruit, and just a drawn out dull sweet glucosey flavor that seems to take forever to dissolve. Pass.

Christian907

Very strange, many people say this is a matured Versace Eros and the only reason I somewhat pickup on that is because it smell unique, no other cologne smells like it

In the opening it smells almost baby wipe ish but in a very fruity way
In the middle it turns into a flowery fruit with some citrus
Once it has broken down after about 3-4 hours it smells a little spicy and I still pick up on the flowery side

Don’t know if I like it alot yet, very unique and you will stand out among everyone but DONT OVER SPRAY… you will choke

Is it blind but worthy, yes if you are looking for something that is not a summer or winter fragrance and you want to smell different, no if you only really like basic designer colognes

Zpmghal

it's pretty good but simultaneously absolutely unwearable, and this is the reason i rated it so low. Scent is like 8/10 wonderful oud with almond notes, don't hear here any citruses. oud is not that bad meanwhile i absolutely hate it in every way possible but here its not bad. Its absolutely overwhelming and DO NOT go with more than 2 sprays. Its too strong to be a summer fragrance,id pick it up for a cold spring or warn enough winter, definitely not a summer fragrance ,maybe you can use it at summer when its pretty cold evening. Its not fresh at all but scent is unique enough and this is what i like here
overall: 5/10(too unwearable)
scent: 8/10(pretty good don't get me wrong)
sillage: 9/10
longevity: 9,5/10 (usually fragrances even the beast modes just does not last more than 3 hours on me but this boy was even noticeable after 8 hours that is pretty good for my skin)
uniqueness here is wonderful 10/10
will it pull compliments: absolutely yes
would i wear it often: no

eliotweg

At first it smells a bit synthetic like a lemon candy. But when it drys down. Holy shit. It’s real good. Smells nutty after about an hour and then it smells like a lemon vanilla cake. So good and good for almost all seasons. Definitely recommend 9/10

Evamomma

With over 2500 votes, this fragrance still holds a 4.10 rating, that’s impressive. This fragrance ticks a lot of boxes for me. I want my fragrances to take me on a journey and this does not disappoint. Yes, the opening is a little harsh, but I only have to wait 5 minutes for it to become very very intriguing. It is fresh with a bit of mystery and subtle sweetness. If my husband would wear fragrance, I would encourage him to wear this but since, he won’t, I’ll wear it for myself. For over ten years, I have been searching for an everyday fragrance that “I” enjoy wearing. I don’t wear this for the compliments, I wear it for me.

farkash

more manly leaning, good for any seasons during the day imo, 2-3 sprays is more than enough not something you will want to overspray

spasianspasov

Usually I write long reviews, this one will be short, because of how amazing this is.
Magic in a bottle.
Combined with the longevity and the projection-masterpiece.

Creamy vanilla with lemon peels tart/cake with lingering jasmine-mint combination around the edges and oud-almond base.

From the start to the complete drydown this scent changes a lot and it gets better and better.

Longevity: 12+
Projection: Loud for 4-5 hours then is above moderate.

MangyBasilisk50

Great perfume. The longevity and sillage are monstrous. A very well blended lemon with a creamy almond and oud. Definitely very unique one. You will stand out with this one. This is also much more sweet than what it’s advertised as. The best of all the Manceras in my opinion but still not for everyone. I recommend not blind buying. 9/10

humanchild

It's a weird mix, but I think the almond plays a big role in what I really enjoy in this fragrance.

I just got this one, and I have no clue what to think. I have a full bottle, sometimes I love it, sometimes the smell makes me feel sick. But what I think it is, is a similar downfall of Red Tobacco, an offensive opening. Like Red Tobacco, this one is insanely complemented, maybe more than any of my others. This one does not seem to offend others but can be a bit much when close to the nose. At this point I keep it sprayed on my arms, and I enjoy it.

Despite the notes and reviews, I think this fragrance works for ALL occasions and ALL seasons.

7/10, still working on figuring this one out.

gordon.moore9

This fragrance is a puzzle wrapped in an enigma. Let me break it down: the opening, or top notes, are so wild and unpredictable that they defy description. And the name? Well, it only seems to capture one-third of what's actually happening here.

First things first, let's talk about the lemon. It's the star of the show, commanding about 50-60% of the fragrance from start to finish. The mint, on the other hand, makes a brief appearance at the very beginning, but thankfully bows out early on. As for the "oud," it's elusive, barely making its presence known until the dry down, where it mingles with vanilla, leather, and amber in a peculiar dance.

Now, you might think I'm not a fan of this fragrance given my critique so far, but truth be told, I absolutely love it. Once you get past the chaotic opening minute, it becomes something truly special.

As for when to wear it, well, that's a tough one. It's not ideal for scorching heat or freezing cold, as it tends to overpower in extreme temperatures. But find that sweet spot, and it's pure magic.

The price is a steal, especially considering you can snag it for around 80 bucks on discounters. And the longevity? Let's just say it's off the charts, lingering on clothes for days.

I blind bought this gem, and I'm thrilled with the outcome, but I wouldn't recommend blind buying it for everyone. It's a unique, intoxicating scent that won't be everyone's cup of tea.

In terms of longevity, it's an 11 out of 10, and the scent itself earns a solid 9 out of 10 from me. Overall, it's a perfect 10 out of 10 in my book. It's a fragrance that demands attention and rewards those who dare to explore its depths.

I love the scent but i dont know why this fragrance doesnt match with my skin so this fragrance have an average longevity on my skin 🥲

Good for the summer, cant really detect oud

On initial blast I thought, what the hell is this! It seemed overly synthetic, potent and razor blade sharp.

2 hours in and its now actually quite beautiful. Don't be put off by the opening as its screechy as hell, but it does settle into a smooth, well balanced beast mode (kind of) freshie.

I do keep getting comparisons to one of my absolute favourites, Guerlain - Vetiver, and this is a very good thing.

opening: 2/10
dry down: 8/10
longevity: 10/10
projection: 10/10

I don't know if it was the sample that I got but this was absolutely nuclear. I put 2 sprays, one on the front of my neck and one on my wrists at 9 am and went to soccer practice at 6:30, someone 10 feet away from me was being choked out. The opening is a harsh lemony smell, no mint or oud, and someone told me it smells like old people. The dry down saves it though, which is a nice woody and vanilla smell.
opening: 5/10
dry down: 9.5/10
longevity: 10/10
projection: 11/10
This is not good for school at all and if you are shy do not buy this

c0lemanscents13

Super aggressive lemon note on top that fades fast, you can really smell the pepper and coriander after that. Sits in a very powdery place where you can't really get the oud or mint, but the patchouli shines through. However, the drydown is a beautiful woody vanilla scent that really saves the fragrance for me. I'd say good for cool spring/summer days and sunny fall days. Not for hot summer days, I think summer nights would be great for this though.

Edit: I tried this again and the opening is just way to much, got rid of it

@smell_your_best_brian lol, ill take your word for it

Smell_your_best_brian

Should've read reviews, 5 sprays was too strong. I might be going nose blind cause at first it didn't seem strong but it's potent as a hell. In class someone said somebody here was wearing a strong "cologne", I knew that was me. He shouldn't day anything, I've smelled his fragrance before and they smell cheap & synthetic so he might have smelled himself, loser had to announce it so loud too. 2-3 sprays is recommended, don't let the citrus throw you off.

Zac. frags

Toilet cleaner horrible and synthetic.

Popíšem to takto, možno to pomôže.
Keď som si tento parfum zakúpil párkrát som ho použil. No nie na verejnosti. Len doma. Možno som spotreboval 1-2 ml z flakónu. Voňal mierne, možno až stredne synteticky, ostro, chemicky. S tým som rátal. Potom som flakón odložil do skrine. Pekne do tmy. Nechal som ho tam zhruba 8-9 mesiacov. Veľmi mu to prospelo! Teraz je to úžasná, nesyntetická a mnohostranne použiteľná svieža, mierne sladká, čistá vôňa. Skúste. Kvalita rapídne stúpla!

josue_1027

For me, the beggining smells really similar to baby wipes. I am going to see if this cologne can grow on me.

The_Wac

Super clean and fresh. As i've come to expect from all the Montale and Mancera fragences, the scent itself is great. I like the unique combination of the minty citrus Aoud. For some reason on me this was a quiet scent that didn't have any longevity, which is super off brand. I'll have to double check that wasn't a fluke or a mis-spray.

Scent 8/10
Longevity - Not even a skin scent at 3 hours
Stillage (scents are quiet on me) - 3/10

Overall 4/10

Worth a look, or a wear to a quick event, but not a buy for me.

O_tto

Absolutely love this fragrance, it's a great beginner niche fragrance. The top notes are very citrusy but with a nice spicy and almondy blend, and it eventually turns into a oud and vanilla fragrance. A scent for the spring and the milder summer days. The silage and longevity is very good as well, lasts well over 11 hours on my skin, and with just 2 sprays you should be good to go, people will smell it from a decent distance. Personally, I love this scent but you should consider spraying it on your skin before buying, since the scent may vary from person to person.

The bottle is very nice and the magnetic cap adds to it, the atomizer is top tier.

I'd give this fragrance a 9/10

tglong95

This, like many other mancera fragrances, is one that you need to test out on skin rather than on paper. I've ended up really loving this one on me even though when I first smelled it on paper and even when I initially sprayed it on my skin I was a little underwhelmed. The opening is an incredibly loud lemon scent to the point where it smells a little bit like surface cleaner. HOWEVER, after about an hour or two this starts to develop into something really beautiful. Hour 2 through 6ish actually smell a little similar to BDC and are a really beautiful citrus forward woodsy clean masculine smell that I really enjoy. I get almost eternal longevity on my skin that lasts 12+ hours. After hour 6 or 7 this becomes more of a skin scent but is still really great. This one is a great everyday fragrance that works just about any time of year and if you're looking for a one or two fragrance collection this is a great option. Another upside to this one in particular is that you can find it at pretty reasonable prices online so it's a little more financially accessible to most people than some other offerings from mancera.

Long story short - try this on your skin and watch how it develops throughout the day. Don't judge it too harshly on the opening.

gharper

Indulge me, darling, as I regale you with my olfactory journey through the ethereal concoction that is Mancera's Aoud Lemon Mint. From the very first spritz, I was transported to the sun-drenched terraces of the Mediterranean, where sophistication and opulence dance in harmony.

Picture this: a crisp, zesty burst of lemon intertwined with the invigorating freshness of mint, awakening the senses with an unparalleled elegance. It's as if the essence of summer itself has been captured in a bottle, reserved exclusively for those of discerning taste.

As the fragrance settles, the heart notes reveal a mysterious depth, with the exquisite Aoud adding a touch of exotic allure that whispers of far-off lands and clandestine rendezvous. One cannot help but feel an air of intrigue enveloping them, drawing admirers like moths to a flame.

And oh, the dry down... A symphony of woody undertones intertwined with the lingering sweetness of vanilla, leaving a trail of sophistication and refinement in one's wake. It's not merely a fragrance, but a statement—a declaration of one's impeccable taste and uncompromising standards.

In conclusion, Mancera's Aoud Lemon Mint is not just a fragrance; it's an experience—a journey through the realms of luxury and sophistication that only the most refined can truly appreciate. Dare to indulge, and elevate your senses to new heights of grandeur.

Lasts pretty long. Not bad.

I've had this for almost a year and I absolutely love it! The best way I can describe the smell is that it smells like a dry citrusy soda. It lasts 10+ hours and projection is amazing.

AaronMclean0205

To me, this personally does not feel like a summer fragrance. I couldn't imagine wearing this in warm weather. I bought this fragrance recently but haven't worn it much. It has a prominent Oud note and to some may smell like old people. Despite the look of the bottle and the name, there isn't as much lemon or mint as you'd expect. For this I heavily suggest ordering a sample beforehand. I still like this fragrance however and hope to get more use out of it closer to spring. To me, the dry down turns almost woody, its a nice dry down however the opening, strong oud scent is off putting.

Sidney Goosecreature

Manceras aren't generally my thing but this is gorgeous. It's like a summer fragrance for winter, if that makes any sense — the citrus and mint are complemented beautifully by the oud, spices and jasmine. It's sweet, enticing, clean and interesting. The lemon is quite jammy; it's not a sharp citrus at all. More like lemon marmalade than fresh-cut fruit.

Apply it sparingly; it's strong stuff and more than a couple of sprays will be a bit much for those around you. Not public transport or office-friendly! And probably not for high heat; I'm wearing it in a bone-stripping Scottish hoolie and it's perfect for that. I'd wear this in spring, autumn or winter. Not in the height of summer.

Less is more with this fragrance, definitely. But use it at the correct intensity and it'll reward you for a long time. It's an outstanding fragrance.

Citrus🍋🍊, vanillic almond🍦🥜, spicy patchouli 🫒& oud🪵 with very faint mint☘️. Smells fantastic... just like the colour of the bottle.

To whoever said this smells like Nivea cream they are right, just less sweet. Typical Mancera oud which is really nice but this fragrance is just too soapy/powdery-ish for me. Isn’t really a “male” fragrance until the dry down in my opinion. Just smells like a feminine soapy, powdery, fresh with some wood and musk…..meh beast mode performance tho

sab1nx

I almost used a 10ml decant entirely, but I couldn't finish it. At first i liked it, but after a few wearings the scent became tiring and screechy and the lack of naturals became too obvious and obnoxious. Decent scent, but sample first. I imagine in high heat it's a nightmare.

Scent: 4/7
Projection: 5/7
Longevity: 5/7
Overall: Good, worth considering

vrbs

Do not blind buy this fragrance, the scent is not what I was expecting at all. I don't hate it but I also don't love it. Citrus note doesn't last long and it goes straight to the woody notes. To me it smells powdery. Beast mode projection.
Definitely sample first.

the perfume opens with the smell of strong synthetic almond and oud. I really didn't like the opening on this one. 1 hour later on drydown is when it really settles in, smelling sweet and clean. The citrus disappears quite early in the development, and the mint is absent.

Freshman44

Fantastic all weather banger 💯🔥

FragrantJosh

I have an 8ml sample of Aoud Lemon Mint and I wouldn't say it's beast mode at all, 6-8 hours at most. It's nice but unique. No mint whatsoever unfortunately. Just candied lemon and a strong warm oud. I'm not crazy about it and definitely won't buy a bottle but it's pleasant and unique so I will enjoy the 8ml and try something else I suspect. I have a clone of Red Tobacco which I love so I'm thinking about selling my 150ml Azzaro WBN and buying a full bottle of the Mancera!

sniffer 65

This one did not work for me, despite several tries. Synthetic lemon pledge grafted onto a synthetic coriander/jasmine/magnolia/rose note, plus a touch of syrupy ambigu-mint that is very feminine and very cloying. An almond accord joins in the heart, but does this no favors. I really wanted to like this because Cedrat Boisee and Wild Leather are both very good and priced well, and the idea of lemon, mint and oud together sounds really good. Perhaps it would have been good with a bright natural lemon, a crisp peppermint and an earthy oud, but that isn't how Mancera chose to go. Nor did Mancera go with a light aromatic jasmine. The jasmine here is of the Yankee Candle variety. I got no black pepper, oud or vetiver at all, and very little leather - which is too bad because those elements could have balanced this sweet floral mess. I cannot fathom wearing this on a hot day where it would choke out everyone around you. A confident woman could pull this off in cool weather, but a guy with any level of masculinity or maturity should try a very small decant of this before buying a bottle.

Hkp27

Highly synthetic. Hard to like. Not a safe blindbuy

LightOfJoy

From a manufacturer's sample sprayed on paper: This smells like walking through a home and garden store called Garden Ridge. A very specific smell memory and association. It's very potent.

I really didn't like this one. It was sharply synthetic initially and the dry down wasn't much better. It actually reminded me of a litter box and very chemical smell. My wife agreed it is the worst in my collection. It does last a very long time. It was a decant so possible I got a bad batch but I did test in a store to see if it was better and still not that likeable.

frostybadger

Love it. Usually not a fan of lemony scents but appreciate this one. Very youthful, summer/spring scent. I smell lemon, mint, and honey. The honey note is delicious. Got a sample vial and seriously considering the full bottle.

22991155

I think its good, on my skin the Lemon docent last long and it goes straight to the woody nutty dry down so I wouldn't actually recommend at least based of my performance for summer as its too dense and not bright/ fresh enough for Summer and is better suited for spring/ autumn

skellyjelly

fantastic fragrance. I was skeptical at first, but I have to admit this scent is addictive. Personally, fresh, clean citrus scents aren't my favorite, but there is an underlying sweetness and floral note that I love. The lemon and almond are strong in the opening, but they play so well together. It was like a fancy shampoo in the best way possible. on dry down, and as I let the scent linger, I smelled an amazing sweet floral that I thought would fit everyone. I think I'll wear this fragrance this summer and test it out a bit more. 8/10

#489 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

While there is certainly similarity in the notes with Mancera Aoud Blue Notes, this scent is much more citrus forward, less fruity. I think the multitudinous fans of Cedrat Boise will prefer this to both Aoud Blue Notes and either of the Prestigium scents, even though it's much less woody than Cedrat and has no vanilla. Really reminds me more of Boucheron Pour Homme than Blue Notes. This is fresher and sharper and much more of a summer scent. There's a slight nuttiness here and I think you'll really enjoy the jasmine. It's not often that I can pick out a specific floral like this. I also really appreciate the nice dose of vetiver. But all-in-all nothing unique about this scent.

I think this is a bit more office wear than either Blue Notes, Gold or Black Prestigium, but I'd probably save it for daytime casual wear in warmer weather. Of course the citrus fades out, but the base notes hang on till lunch. Projection is not that great and not for long, but that's par for freshies like this.

And I think we can safely say this is a unisex fragrance since one of the women in my life snagged my bottle for her own use.

I think this is another safe blind buy at the discounter pricing, but decants are widely available for your own testing.

Learningtosmell

This is like a more refined and mature Eros that leans slightly more unisex. If you've outgrown Eros this could be the one for you.

Kamulop

I wrote quite a negative review of this a while ago after testing it few times. My opinion on this scent has turned full 360 degrees since then, so I have to write a new review. I love this scent. It took me maybe around five times I started to like this. First two tries I straight up disliked this. On third try I was starting to feel there was something interesting in the otherwise horrible scent. On the fourth try and onwards, I realized it's a really addicting scent. Now I absolutely love this.

The combination of sweet citrus and dense and intense oud is just so interesting and addictive. The performance and sillage are amazing also. Very nice scent, but to me it took some getting used to before it opened to me. I'm planning to get a full bottle now that I have used up my tester. I actually don't see a reason to not wear this on winter. I live in a very cold environment, and I can definitely wear this on even really cold days. I actually think I will rather use this on colder seasons than on warm summer days due to the very dense feel this has.

Awesome and unique fragrance.

ExclusiveApe

This is a phenomenal lemon oud scent and it smells NOTHING like bathroom cleaner. Jesus f'ing Christ.

Jdubb0

Fantastic unisex springtime fragrance. Beautifully blended, the lemon and oud mix is actually really well done in my opinion. The mint is difficult to detect, not really sure why they included that in the name. This doesn't really detract from how it smells, though. Excellent performance and projection. The profile is pretty well balanced. I'd say it's a good everyday scent, and could be versatile in spring and cooler days in summer. Maybe just wouldn't wear in cold or super hot weather. Overall, it's a 9/10 fragrance.

JJ2137

It's passable but for me it really does give some kind of bathroom cleaner vibes.

mostafa385

Not a summer fragrance in my opinion specially the old bottle with no magnetic cap because it is very heavy & dense for hot days. Use it in moderate climate.
The scent is unique & not repeated, it gets better after 1.5 hours when the dry down starts.
Dry down is mix of almonds, vanilla & oud but light oud not the heavy one.
Performance in the old bottle is off charts as it lasts literally all day & projects like crazy up to 8/9 hours.
It is very oily so do not spray on clothes because it will stain it & in any case you do not need to spray on clothes as the performance on skin is unreal.
This fragrance is one of the strongest in my collection (Again the old bottle), I did not try the new magnetic cap bottle.
I liked it because it is somehow unique & has nuclear performance. I got it from Amazon for 85$ & to my surprise they sent me the old bottle without magnetic cap.

I’m with Alex, below, as I find this somewhat nauseating. I’m not sure why, but I guess it has something to do with the ‘uncanny valley’ where there’s a visceral reaction to the synthetic.
I’m really struggling to find anything right about this one. Even the name seems wrong— It’s heavy on chemical almond, there’s minimal (and fast disappearing) lemon, next to no oud accord, and I can’t detect any mint at all. Cyanide would be a more appropriate title.

Buy Joop! instead for a better and cheaper almond fragrance. Or Hypnotic Poison for almond done with panache.

nísimaldar

Fragrantica got about 80% this time. Official notes are:

HEAD NOTES
Lemon, Coriander, Black Pepper & Almonds.

HEART NOTES
Subtle Oud, Jasmine, Patchouli & Mint.

BASE NOTES
Leather, Amber, Vanilla Pods, Haitian Vetiver & White Musk.

mekanazekana

Based on the notes, I thought it is a good summer citrus perfume. Went to a store and try it, first on a paper, and on my wrist. Its really synthetic, sharp and definitely male perfume. Tried several Mancera perfumes, but I find them all synthetic and weird. Nothing special about them.

MlVC72

Lovely, but it's not a summer scent for me at all. It gets way too cloying in hot weather while it shines in cooler weather, as I'm wearing it today in 10C and rain and storm. It gives me sunshine but also the warmth that I want from my cool weather scents. It's long lasting and strong, you can't go wrong with this. And no it doesn't smell like a litter box. No clue what some people think they smell.

TheDogfatherHTX

I hadn't really heard too much about Aoud Lemon Mint before I found it on sale at Fragrancebuy. After looking up some reviews and hearing good things, I decided to blind buy it and give it a test drive. Here's how it went;

Scent:
Opening is fruity, woody, and nutty. Immediately I smell the lemon note, which comes across similar to Lemonheads candy. Below that I can smell the mandarin, oud and almond. After being on my skin for about 30 minutes, the oud and almond had become stronger and I got just the lightest tinge of a minty note. In the dry down it becomes more of an oud/almond scent with a lemon background, but I also get touches of the patchouli and vanilla.

Performance:
Initial projection is nuclear and fills the room. Sillage matches that intensity, leaving a heavy scent trail. At 5 hours in the projection was arms length and there was still a noticeable scent trail. 8 hours into wearing the projection was about 12 inches, but there was still a decent scent trail. Altogether this lasted over 12 hours on my skin, making it certified eternal.

When to wear:
This is more suited to spring/summer wear, day or night. Not an office friendly fragrance, could work for an outdoors date though.

Blind buy:
If you like oud and/or lemon heavy scents, this is a safe blind buy for you.

Final verdict:
I'll be honest, I imagined there would be more mint in a fragrance with "Mint" in the name, but I guess that's the way it goes sometimes. Other than that, it's a really nice scent. The oud isn't funky over overpowering, and the candy-like lemon note compliments it well. If you're looking for a good summer time scent with a nice twist that will last all day, pick this one up.

Scent: 8/10
Longevity: 9/10
Sillage: 10/10

alex23481

I blind bought this and it’s gross. Can’t stand the sight of it

nibolis

my favorite
lovely almond frag with oud and some not citrus lemon, but a smooth soft lemon
performance is good, not a heavy projector but it leaves a nice trail.
lasts forever
the frag chances a lot during is duration, the end is a very soft and comforting almond + vanilla

Bendking

It's nice, but definitely for 30 yrs old and up, so it's not totally my thing. I would say it works all year besides summer, it would definitely be cloying in hot weather. It smells like a Mancera with its synthetic edge, but it smells nice in the air. Dont blind buy.

garantis28

Aoud Lemon Mint is a perfect spring and summer fragrance when you want to stand out or dress up. There's something about the base that Mancera uses when they include "aoud" in their fragrances. It's not a fecal or barnyard oud. It's a rich pungent wood scent, combined with Mancera's excellent leather note to create this rich backbone that structures the entire fragrance.

Now I know that the notes say bergamot, almond, and pepper, but I don't really get any of those here. I get a wallop of beautiful bright candied lemon, right off the top. This is combined with a sweet, syrupy floral honey. Like a big old vat of fresh clover honey with candied lemons in it. I think this is the jasmine note combining with the sweet lemon. And the jasmine note makes this so floral and expansive. When this stuff dries down its a beautiful sweet, nutty vanilla with light citrus. Maybe this is where a little of the almond note comes in.

I would classify this is a unisex scent as I could see both men and women wearing this comfortably. For me this is not a scent I would wear casually. I would need to be dressed up with somewhere to go before spraying this on. Overall, another beautifully crafted scent from Pierre Montale and Mancera.

Dadablacksheep1

Honestly this isn't what I was expecting at all. Thought it'd be more similar to dior home sport 2017. ALM is a very regal and elegant smell. Not just a casual every day scent but one that you really could dress up and it will shine. Longevity and projection are exceptional and this very easily could become my favorite mancera purchase. You may think this one turns into a skin scent after a few hours but it projects and gets noticed even if you go noseblind to it. I got the magnetic cap from 2022. Definitely recommend as something different and an absolute 💎.

Angelbeast56

I’ve had this one for a while and all I have to say is wow…this fragrance last me 15+hours with super strong projection and honestly the smell is amazing fresh sweet citrusy and the oud and the almond just absolutely compliment it even more and give it a soapy vibe to me I’ve gotten many compliments of it and it’s only 70$ the value for money is crazy your getting a all year round fragrance that last and projecting a crazy amount and best of all it’s a niche fragrance and the smell is also amazing and the bottle and atomizer and cap just simply beautiful

s&pscented

Still undecided on this one. The comparison of the lemon to Lemonheads candy is pretty on point. I do smell the oud and I do smell the mint. It’s potent and performs well (at least on my skin). It’s sweet and would probably be appealing to fans of clubbing fragrances. I like it, but it’s fairly linear and after several hours, I find myself a little over the experience. It’s definitely unique.

rhrsouza

This was a disappointment. The name "Aoud, Lemon, Mint" is way more exciting than the fragrance itself. It opens with a sweet and synthetic lemon that reminds me of Sprite. The drydown is floral, very sweet, boring and synthetic. It leans much more feminine to my nose.

Deelecto

Like other Manceras, this will appeal to folks coming over from designer fragrances (or simply into designers), as it’s similarly very well-blended, but also very synthetic and highly tenacious, even overwhelming. The scent is very good though, a bit sweet, creamy, and fresh. I enjoy the travel spray used sparingly; I suspect a blast from the full-sized bottle would just be too much for me.

Arifyusof92

I dislike it, smells like very sharp lime mint like a cloth detergent...

I was curious with the hype on social medias & seller keep saying its trending but in the end it depends on your preference...

Yzeyze

Ok people.. This one smells clean and chemicaI to me. I will describe this smell short for you how it smells like. Have you ever smell washing powder? This is how Aoud Lemon Mint smells like.

Scent: 6/10
Longevity: 7/10
Projection: 7/10
Overall: 6.5/10

To correct sloppiness and inaccuracies that that are inherently a part of fragrantica rather than be addressed and notes listed with accuracy, here are the correct notes from Mancera’s website (this issue has been spoken of for years but never is addressed by the website operators, and if you want to accurately know the notes used to create your fragrances, look on brand websites or parfumo, which despite having far less activity, is often spoken of as a superior site and I tend to agree just purely based on providing accurate info)

HEAD NOTES
Lemon from Sicily, Fresh Coriander, Black Pepper & Almonds

HEART NOTES
Subtle Oud, Jasmine, Leaves of Patchouli & Fresh Mint.

BASE NOTES
Leather, Amber, Vanilla Pods, Haitian Vetiver & White Musk.

Yes, there is actually mint - not sure if people perpetually stating that isn’t the case just aren’t catching the minty vibe or if they’re under the false assumption information in fragrantica is actually accurate.

Superb, unique fragrance for a summer freshie. 10/10 for mild spring, heat of summer into mild to coolish fall weather. Given the durability of this one, and the oud note, I’d venture to guess for a freshie this one might really cut through the cold winter air in those areas where the weather dips into or stays within freezing temps through the season.

Scentsibilities

One of the best most characterful fresh fragrances.Often niche freshies are generic and have profiles which can be found in designer releases. This doesn't it is very unique and powerful whilst still being mass appealing and fresh 10/10

I was put off by the opening at first spray. But it has grown on me. I like it!!

Aoud Lemon Mint Mancera

ALM opens with an addictive blast of Lemondry almond and Patchouli oud. The Great opening has probably gotten many including myself so hooked on. It's kinda Polarising as ALM develops into a creamy vanilla musky almond drydown. Do note there's no Mint here despite the name

I've owned both bottles and decants of about 20 mancera frags and ALM has to be in the top 5. I actually started out with a 5ml decant sometime back and it got me so impressed with the first wear, I did the sprays in the office room and it filled the whole room and everyone was trying to see where the scent trail came from. By the time the second wear was done, I committed to a full bottle.

ALM is Addictive, almost beast mode, super projecting and silage, whole day longetivy. It literally stayed on my skin for a whole day.

ALM has very good projectivity so do not overspray. Short of being called a beast mode frag, it is very strong and longevity reaches 10-12 hours easily and you'll still get a skin scent after a shower.

The juice is light yellow in color and with Manceration and oxidization it will turn darker yellow. The bottle color is beautiful, with shades of blue on top to transparent at the bottom. It's possible to get Abit of olfactory blindness to mancera frags sometimes so ask the folks around you first before you go another round of sprays.

ALM is a keeper!

Nico Adam

Aoud lemon mint, is just perfect in my eyes.

Projection on my skin is about 3-4 hours.
Longiverty is about 10 hours.

Love it…

A-Staubs05

Great niche brand for the price. ALM isn’t as strong as I’ve heard but still super strong for the first 3 hours and lasts almost the whole day for me. The mix of citrus and oud is a great combo making it very versatile. Friends have said it’s feminine but I disagree but they probably get the almond. It’s definitely synthetic but for the price who cares but it’s a niche brand, I expected a little more. Most people wouldn’t tell tho, especially in the air. Overall great scent and great performance and super usable.

Peterihasz

I only get the citrusy notes and waaay too heavy on almond, maybe because i hate the smell of almond, but I smell like this perfume is 60-70% almond, I didnt get the oud note tbh.

Christian Hanjokar

@scentaddicted thanks for the review, I have a question, what batch do you have?

scentaddicted

I never knew what BEAST MODE was until I wore this. I sprayed my elbow joints, neck, and chest. Then walked downstairs. My kids on the other side of the house said they could smell it. Everyone said they really liked it, but it was just so strong! It isn't quite like anything I've got in my collection because it is fresh but also has a base that is woody aromatic. I sprayed it on at 10 a.m. At 10 pm it was still projecting even after I got in a hot tub. I would say to test it before buying, but if you haven't ever owned a Beast, this is one to try. I have the magnetic cap, so post-2020 reformulation.

Smell 9.5/10
Longevity 11/10
Sillage 10/10

Ohbenevolent1

This 1 is def in the "have to let it sit for awhile" category..after 1st wear it quickly was elevated into the target practice, projectile intended for skeet shooting realm..but alas, patience lil grasshopper..a few mths pass & viola..what is this?? a mojito in a atomizer..me likey👍🏿..luv smelling like delicious alcoholic beverages around women brings back memories of the naughty vacation they had in some tropical climate & now they wanna get to licking the very last drop of it off your straw..your very welcome

ornazaraii

Do not, i repeat, DO NOT, overspray.

rmnnnnn

I thought this leaned very feminine right after the first spray. Then my girlfriend came home from work, smelled my hand and asked right away if that is a female perfume. All there is to say, gonna give this to my mum.

Edit: After 2 hours, this leans much more unisex than in the opening. But that’s about the time it looses it’s projection I feel like.

ultraX2437

when i first bought this i didn’t like it, but after some time it smelled way better, it probably macerated. smells like a lemon wood candle for me.
longevity: 9/10
projection: 2ft+ for 3 hours
scent: 6.5/10

L3n3z

Travel set 8 ml 2 out of 5 ordered from mancera .
Applied a few sprays and the opening really smells like Lemon sherbet candy .
This one smells like a blue fragrance in fact dried down I get a strong note of what I think is patchouli that smells exactly like Versace Dylan blue .
My nose and brain are maybe playing tricks on me but this is very good .
Woody lemony creamy patchouli.
I like it I smell good.
Very strong smell and synthetic in the opening but dried down it’s really good .
Very versatile and not at all overpowering or offensive.
Feels more designer then niche .
Unisex i don’t know feels more manly to me .

RESNEW

Among patrons, Mancera is a brand sometimes reviewed as “synthetic.” ALM is no different. However, as with other popular Mancera juices, wearers rarely become lodged in a synthetic imprint of ALM because the quality of both the notes and blend is exceptional. As a frequent wearer of several Mancera frags, I can personally attest to near addictions, great scent memories, fantastic longevity and a bevy of random compliments. For all of the market appeal (and cost) of more exclusive labels I own, I know what to expect when I wear ALM and other Mancera products I’m thrilled to own.

suzanne_ronald

MOUNTAINS & TROPICS. Opens with a burst of lemon & almond accented by mandarin, pepper & coriander, and already you can feel the oud-patchouli blend coming through. As it transitions to the heart you begin to get the jasmine which deepens into a grape-leaning sweet citrus white-floral addition which supports and continues the lemon for the duration which takes on a candied lemon vibe. This all rests on a musky amber-vanilla base with hints of leather, and multi-faceted vetiver bringing fruity and grassy touches. Alongside there is an ozonic vibe of something near mint or violet-leaf (not listed) which tilts the whole creation slightly to the masculine, although it's unisex overall. The fruitiness together with the airy ozonic/mint-y vibe are evocative of mountains in a tropical location to my nose. I could imagine wearing this trekking the Inca Trail, or climbing an extinct volcano near Santorini, or even scaling the Atlas Mountains on a motorbike. There are reminders here of L'Homme Ideal EDT Guerlain, but this isn't a dupe. Excellent performance in signature Mancera style - and this does smell like Mancera with reminders of other Mancera scents. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

frankcoelho

Got this right around 2 weeks ago and, out of all my Manceras, this one is what I've been wearing the most.
Getting it right out the door, I DO think this one is REDUNDANT with L'HOMME IDEAL EDT.

Love the smell, great citric (sweet) and almondy opening, though NOTHING like Pegasus (PDM). This is clean, versatile, and lovely to smell. Very masculine and the oud really easy to wear. Year-round/signature worthy - I wouldn't pay over $80 on this (got it for $72) as it is pretty easy to find on discounter - even easier than Cedrat Boise.

crownvic808

All of Mancera colognes smell very heavy and syntehtic, and this is no exception. Patchouli heavy, very floral and synthetic. Smells like dryer sheets, except less airy and more dense. Unisex, more feminine leaning, because I personally associate floral scents with females.

Dylan Lim

I'm currently sampling this fragrance, and it is my first Mancera that I'll will eventually own. This fragrance is a wonderful fresh, smooth, unique blend of citrus, oud, and almond. For those who are afraid of this scent being an Oud heavy, animalic, and fecal fragrance with only a hint of lemon, this scent is a smooth fresh citrus and almond fragrance, with a dark undertone of oud. I find that this is a compliment pulling, all season signature, just make sure to dial back the sprays in summer because this fragrance has very potent projection and longevity. A max of 3 sprays in weather above 30 degrees Celsius. I could see this fragrance being used as a date night fragrance, like having a date at a beach side restaurant. Overall a great year round compliment getting signature that I definitely need in my collection. Do sample first as it may not be for everyone.

HDMIPlayer

When someone tells me "That perfume is strong" I know I've found something worth keeping. Spray light on this because it is absolutely nuclear. I sprayed four times (wrist and neck) and had my whole living room smell like this perfume. This smells like its name suggests, except that it's not literally mint... it's patchouli. The opening of the perfume reminds me of my time visiting middle eastern countries. The base is super smooth. Highly recommend this fragrance, but not as a blind buy.

I've found that scents that go for a strong or powerful lemon opening smell synthetic like plastic. Those who say this smells synthetic are likely referring to the strength of the citrus opening. I do not find the "synthetic smell" to last very long.

BKrems

This stuff is really nice and the performance is really impressive!

To my nose the opening is a fresh lemon lime with very noticeable coriander that adds a splash of zest. Sweet but not overly sweet.

As it develops it get a bit thicker and creamier with the almond and vanilla coming more forward. The citrus and zest is still holding strong though.

After several hours you hit the drydown and it gets really special. If you've ever smelled the drydown of cedrat boise it's somewhat similar. More lime and almond but with that signature slightly powdery vanilla.

24 hours and a shower later I wore light blue intense and after an hour the aoud lemon mint was stronger on my wrist than the light blue! Says a lot

Not sure if I'd tell someone to blind buy this but I'd suggest checking it out. Go easy on the sprayer, especially in the heat. You can easily blow out a room

Vaporized

Had it for a while then swapped it, only because it smelt like 40% of most Mancera fragrances! The name is a misnomer, as the mint is non-existent and the lemon is a fleeting note at best. However the Almond note could be smelt amongst the others. Performance is great as is with the majority of the brand, that's one thing that is consistent. However I could not find anything special about it, so its not something that I would yearn to put on unlike my red tobacco, wave musk and the superlative Cedrat Boise.
All seasonal scent? For me, yes
Unisex? I reckon it is
Blind buy worthy? Considering it was bland, generic and quite similar to other Mancera bottles, no
Performance? Longevity, 8 to 9 hours, with good projection and sillage

lmnsvgz

The classic "blue" fragrance formula BUT with a beautiful dry oud drydown. It is stunning if you want a blue fragrance with a slight edge. Would smell lovely on a man

Phoen1x

Strong Mancera DNAesque
Synthetic but good Oud smell is predominant.
Citrus to me should be nothing but an immediate top note that disappears, if anything there are fruity notes read... Mancera DNA.
There is a creamy aspect to this for the mids

Honestly, I have Penhaligons Halfeti and this smells like a bumped up lemon in the top, again gone in a few
Less refined in the mid
Way less polished rose smell, probably the fruity Mancera DNA amaretto /almond smells
and heavy cheaper leather note in the base.

For the price for those that don't want to go through the hassle of finding Penhaligons Halfeti or the price

Mancera Oud Lemon Mint is a good alternative and it's fine for 75% of the masses. It's younger bc of the sweet fruity notes. Maybe that's where people are smelling the almond which to me is not true Raw almond. I think people mean and should be saying the gourmand term AMARETTO, which to me is accurate IYKYK, is sweet has the almond IDEA and! A hint of fruit cherry. I haven't worn any Guerlain but I really do want some of the L’Homme, instant ideal and other versions for myself as well as to compare.

All of that being said it's fine. Great to those who haven't smelled better quality products perfumes ie Penhaligons Halfeti and flankers, as well as what I'm sure is better blended more refined polished luxurious options from Guerlain lines.

To me this ultimately has a heavy resinous amber synthetic Oud household room fragrance. But what do I know....don't forget the world is big! With diverse environments and people and cultures exposed to so many wonders food fauna architecture style and feeling of society. Be defined and confident in your decisions. Enjoy the journey of life.

Be great!

C_Fraydrances

Smells like baby wipes. Fond memories of changing my son's diapers years ago, but hard pass today.

Tasherapd

The name doesn’t match the actual scent. The base notes are dominant, & the top notes are faded to the back. This scent is very almond-y, powdery, slightly warm from the amber & woods , with a gentle touch of leather. The lemon is very faint. I don’t really get any mint at all. Although this scent may lean masculine to most. I can picture a sophisticated mature woman in her say mid 50s wearing this.

Beardsome

Picked this up for £40 on eBay. Really nice but nothing like I expected as it was a blind buy. Really strong and too much would be cloying. Go easy on the trigger. Every weather but summer otherwise it can have a funk to it.

ErhanDurhan

I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. It's fresh, clean and relaxing. It's been a week and I just can't put this down. The bottle represents this scent phenomenally – that gradient from blue to yellow through green...
It leans more masculine for me but I personally believe the gals can pull this of beautifully as well.
If you are a male and you aren't afraid of florals you will enjoy this one.

MarkoPeeko

LET THIS REST.

Picked up a sample and gave it a couple of dots this morning.

Tbh, the initial 20-25 minutes were a disappointment. All I could pick up was the Mancera /Montale DNA that’s in a lot of Montale’s scents. Lots of florals, heavy synthetic oud. I was ready for scrubbing.

But around 30-35 minutes in, it becomes this fresh, sweetish scent with a nice touch of citrus, vanilla, almond and woods. The oud, while still there, loses its synthetic punch and blends in with the rest of the scent.

The wafts are glorious from then on. I get the comparisons with Guerlain’s L’ideal Homme after a while. And I wonder if people have downvoted in the first twenty-odd minutes.

This is a great frag, but you’ll have to wait for it to develop like others have said.

Probably one of the few scents that changes significantly from opening to dry down. Well worth the wait.

Maybe spray and leave it half an hour before you leave the house.

bjRIghteous

I’m going to have to try it a few more times… or maybe it’ll change slightly as “air” gets in the bottle. It smells beautiful… but that’s the problem. A coworker of mine kept asking everyone what that smell was, it smells like old lady. I have to say I agree with him as far as the mid notes go. Opening is nice, dry down is nice, mid beware all you males out there, just may be a bit too floral with that jasmine in there. Like I said, I really wanted to like it, but probably needs to be the right crowd and the right situation.

Miggens

The name pretty much sums it all. Some citrus with oud. I’m not a big fan of oud fragrances but decided to give it a go and was not disappointed. To answer your question, yes it definitely has that strong oud note, but this is not your typical oud-only fragrance because it has that freshness from citrus fruits. The lemon note is a bit synthetic in my opinion. Overall this one has a great sillage and longetivity for a citrus-dominant fragrance. Even though it’s unisex, I wouldn’t like to smell this on a woman and it definitely leans more masculine in my opinion.

BOGGIO

A good perfume but nothing special comparing to Montale´s fragrance. Moderate perfomance and sillage.I would not byi it again.

Invasionbg

Great scent but can't get much of longevity. The siage is good while it lasts but then I can hardly smell it on my skin. Shame.

Nightster

Some fragrances need time to grow on you. First I found this one not pleasant . But when I was on holiday in spain the last sample I had was Aoud lemon mint.. the weather was hot and I realised i did began to like it. Now it is one of my favourite actually!

Whateverwhocares

Opens into a lemon pine sol and settles down into a lime pine sol. On paper, its synthetic cleaning product vibe totally overcomes the hints of pepper and smoothness. Very disappointing…on paper.

On skin, this frag is significantly more dynamic and although it maintains the cleaning product underpinning, the citrus is more natural and the scent has more depth. Dank Pine Sol. Not great… 6/10

10/10 bottle 10/10 longevity 10/10 projection and amazing smell and price what more can you want it’s perfect versatile fragrance for cooler weather and warmer weather and you can use it for almost any occasion to me the opening smells like a citrus sweet soap bar and they dry down is similar to red Tobbaco but a lot fresher they both have the oud, vanilla, leather and musk and it smells very similar but I feel this is better than red Tobbaco because it’s fresher and more versatile and still has beast mode longevity and projection obviously a little less than red Tobbaco but it’s unnecessary to have over 18 hours of longevity I got a 120 mL bottle and it’s probably gonna last me years because I only use 1-2 sprays and it’s still crazy strong and I have a lot of fragrances and this one definitely stands out of the rest of them it’s my longest lasting one and over all a beautiful fragrance and I forgot to mention the girls love this one 😏😂

EoinD06

Mancera ALM is currently my favorite fragrance that I have in my collection. As it is getting into summer this fragrance is perfect as it is extremely versatile. Where I am from we have very unpredictable weather in the summer so atleast if I put on ALM I know it will suit whatever the weather. It seems on my skin that it performs even better in tropical weather and it makes it so that the silage is nuclear. Almost on the same level as Sauvage Elixir to people I have talked too. It opens with a very peppery lemon scent but it is nothing like CDNIM and is not remotely overpowering to my surprise. In the middle of the fragrance you get this musky/powdery creamy almond scent that I think works perfectly with this fragrance. After the initial sprays and about 5 minutes you start to see the light oud scent coming through. This would be a very typical oud scent from mancera and is not too overpowering and would not be enough to put most people off. Oud is a very divisive scent and if you do not like other oud-heavy fragrances like 'Oud Wood' do not judge ALM as it is a very light and playful oud scent.

Overall I think this is one of the all-time great scents and perfect for anyone who needs a versatile freshie that could also work in more temperate climates too!

monsieur.moustache

Great musky fragrance that's not too musky. Leans masculine.

Very versatile. Can be worn throughout the year, though seems to perform best during the summer.

I am having this fragrance for 4 days now, I wore it every day, but still I am rushing this review.

Overall rating of the fragrance: good, but definitely not worth the hype.

I would say it smells generic in the air and uninteresting but quite daring up front. Not my type but might grow on me.

Let me start with some general advice. Do not judge any Mancera upon first wear. Give them some time. My experience with Mancera's fragrances is that they need time to macerate. It takes sometimes few days, sometimes few months but they will get their power, and even the smell will change a bit.

Is it synthetic smelling? All Mancera kind of are, but imo they use high quality synthetics that feel nice in the air. It comes to personal preferences in the end, so it is best to test and see if it bothers you or not.

The color of the bottle matches the fragrance perfectly. In combination with the juice it is: blue, light blue, greenish, yellow.

It starts fresh with a really really bitter and green almond that ripens and gets sweeter and sweeter. There is an summery oud note that comes and goes, and there is a tart lemon (no sweetness, no sourness). The sweetness comes from amber and vanilla. There is an overall minty feel throughout the wear of the fragrance.

BETOMESSINA

This is not a warm weather scent, there is a little lemon on top then a strong almond, vanilla, oud and amber.
Smell like "medicine"...too heavy for me.

FragZappa

This is definitely not linear to my nose. The opening is tangy and a little harsh. It dries down to a creamy almond and vanilla. Then the jasmine rears its head and my ranking for this fragrance drops about 5 numbers. I don't mind jasmine in the wild but it comes off too feminine for my skin.

Peterihasz

I purchased this scent recently thought it was a good scent bcs of the reviews and áll, but as soon as I sprayed it and smelled it I didn't really like it. It's like pure almond for me I barely smell the oud and citruses I can only smell the almond and it's definitely a feminine scent for me but that's just me.

Rydog70

First off, opening is very harsh. Reminds of a nice lemon cleaner. However, once this hits the mid then the beautiful oud comes through a little bit, as well as the almond and citrus calms down a little bit. Then onto the dry down it gets a fair amount of vanilla to help smooth it out. But would I wear this in summer? No, it’s just too heavy even with 1 spray. The vanilla and oud combo is just too powerful for the foolish mortal named Summer. Very nice, but wouldn’t wear it anytime above 80 degrees F. Now performance is it’s strong suit. Spray on before work and 8 hours later when I leave I still catch a whiff of it. So longevity I get a solid 8-9 hours. Projection now is where this gets crazy. Absolutely nuclear for me, like you should shot somebody with a blank of only Aoud Lemon Mint, easily projects a solid 7 feet so enough to give a nice whiff when you walk into a room. So in the end I give it a solid 8/10:
Scent: 7/10- Good but a little harsh in the opening and not quite what the name suggests
Performance: 9/10- very good longevity with 8-9 hours and very good sillage at about 7 feet
Wearability: 8/10- basically just can’t wear it in high heat
Compliments: N/A- haven’t ever gotten compliments, however I can the appeal to people

Angelbeast56

I got a decant and I will def get a whole bottle it’s so nice clean and soapy in the opening and mid and it leans feminine but the dry down is sweet and manly amazing fragrance by Mancera and it smells fabulous.

charlie_vz

A good fragrance to wear as the weather transitions from cool to warm. Not sure why this is recommended for the summer. Almond, amber, and vanilla accords dominate. Quite musky as well. Good projection for 2 hours and then will last on skin for at least 8 hours

Agent Strong

I don't really get lemon, oud, or mint in this, but the almond is quite prominent. In fact, this smells almost exactly like Guerlain L'homme Ideal. Maybe a tad fresher and slightly more complex. However, it also lasts much longer and has considerably greater sillage. Redundant to have both, and this one is a better fragrance overall and a better value.

hananiah

Its not bad its just not for me I guess. Idk why but i smell popcorn and its creamy and not the summer scent that Im looking for. Heck i dont even think Its for the summer, I wont see myself using this under the summer sun

desousaint

I've always wanted to try Mancera and was looking for a nice summer fragrance for this year, and I searched into this and read all the positivity and thought it was safe to blind buy, it was between this and CB. Jfc was I wrong. It's such a powerful scent, I only did one spray and at first I kinda liked it but then it became really one note and also very nauseating. It's a very clean scent which at first you're going to think "oh this is different" but then it doesnt develop any further, so you're stuck. I'd be scared to wear this in the summer, would probably pass out.

BrilloPadLover

I received this fragrance through a trade recently, so it has had some time to settle. My feelings about it are mixed. It's undoubtedly a strong scent, but it's not a high-heat one. I mostly pick up on almond notes, with just a hint of vanilla. The lemon scent is only noticeable when I first spray it on. I think it's one of those fragrances that I need to wear for a while to fully appreciate. Right now, I like it... kinda? It's pretty one-dimensional - there are no complex layers to it. It's quite unique; I haven't come across anything similar. However, I don't think it's a safe blind buy for someone looking for a sweet summer scent. There are better options available. If you have a collection of 20 or more fragrances and money to spend, then this is definitely... something.

edit: I ended up selling it

Fragmoneypit

I figured I'd wait to give my thoughts on this one. Picked up Aoud Lemon Mint back in July of 2022 and have worn it on a few occasions since then. I do not wear this regularly, but when I do, I really enjoy this masterpiece. Fairly synthetic, but very pleasant. Sweet woody citrus fragrance with incredible depth. Longevity is no joke, at 12 hours and projects very well for a freshie. A spring and summer favorite for me!

Gmelki075

this fragrance is a top fragrance in terms of performance and the scent is just so good mancera never miss for the price they are the best house for fragrances

BKrems

Always let mancera macerate. I see a lot of people giving reviews from when they first open it and that's a no-no.

Brysxb

Okay..I got my first bottle today. The new one with a magnetic cap. It has to be a reformulation or just a bad batch but the projection and the sillage are really weak.
At the opening I get a cool mint that reminds of a gel my mum used for curls. then it turns super almondy on my skin.
Later i got hints of vanilla and oud in the background. otherwise it is a linear perfume.
The hype from Youtube did exaggerate for sure. Let me try yo macerate this for a month and see how it goes.

DESJava

My first impression: how underwelming this fragrance is. I pulled the trigger to buy because of the review of how good the longevity and projection are, but none of it has proven to be true yet after 2 weeks of wearing. I'll let it macerate and i hope it'll get better.
I have a bottle with magnetic cap. Not sure if it makes any different with screw cap.

Second impression: Scentwise upon opening/first spray is very similar to Gold Aoud but Gold Aoud is more potent&stronger than ALM and has way beter longevity and projection. I have both and layering this 2 together is amazing but i wish on its own ALM will get beter in term of projection and longevity and i wish it will be a unique fragrance.

Third impression: At the dry down i prefer Gold Oud (stronger on Mandarin, more sweet and more unique) over ALM (stronger on tonka instead of lemon and it turn to one of those "blue" fragrances ), no mint detected.

Verdict so far: It is a pretty fragrance but not unique at all. Soft projection with average longevity.

Greek model

Holy smoke..!! 💚
I finally pulled the trigger to this baby....and i'm in love.!!
Mancera No.6 for me and the best so far next to Aqua Wood..
Creamy almond and slightly lemony, that's all I get from what I smell on my skin and believe me..what i smell is devine..!!
Perfect for all year around usage for sure but i can guess that in the summer time will do wonders..especially for the summer nights out! Can't wait to use it..!!
Easily a 10/10.! I'm so in love with that house.! Well done Mancera, well done.! 👏🏻👏🏻

eaterofhummus

It's fine. I got a sample of it that I imagine will last a while (given how long lasting this scent is). I don't really smell lemon and no mint at all. There is a heavy musk smell and what I think is amber. It's overall a very warm and rather thick smell. There is some almond at the top but I wish there was more because I love almond. I have a really hard time making out individual notes or really describing the scent in general. It's just like a blurred cloud of warm, slightly spicy scents. I don't hate it but it's not anything special to me. It's not cloying so that's good I suppose. The most significant thing I can say about it is that it lasts a long time and all you need is one spritz.

BOGGIO

Good perfume but nothing special. I would not buy it again. i do not understand all the vibe. Once you proved Montale is very difficult to superpass the uniqueness, the projection and longevity of Montale perfumes.

D1RTY

My first from this house and I can say wow what a Beauty. It reminds me of a guy wearing this parfume in a summer club and I was wondering what he was wearing.
It's kind of sweet with a hint of lemon which makes it softer oud version but really almond creamy.
I would wear it year around with no doubts even in hot summers.

Irvdaman15$

My first mancera and its definitely a much to love fragrance that has a lot of complexity and uniqueness to it. It has a smell like something familiar, yet completely new and different with the way the notes blend in the drydown.

Very nutty. Almost reminiscent of TF Lost cherry's almond note that is a love or hate for many.
The bottle I received is strong. Like one spray is all thats needed under the shirt because overspraying this one would cause some headaches.
Overall I love it, and glad I finally got this. Definitely sample first before buying if possible because this does not smell like lemon mint at all. However its definitely a unique and Signature scent worthy fragrance for any day and weather.

aldo91

Just got it today from notino.
This is such a beautiful and unique fragrance.
The drydown is magic.
Well done Mancera,love it 10/10

Shayax

A beautiful fragrance. Very oriental and different, but also very smooth. The problem is I don't think one can pull it off in many situations. I guess it's a general problem with many oud fragrances. I've had this for two months now and I couldn't find a situation where I wear it.

Flatoutchad

I got this about a year ago and like always I wear it a lot when I first got it. Lot of times I have to wear it, get tired and not use it for a long time then re-wear it. This is one scent that will let you know if you over-spray it. Your nose will feel like it has went thru a workout. I would not spray more than two. Everyone is different but I get huge performance. This one I smell way longer than just about any other scent I have. It's hard for me to put this in a category and I like the scent a lot now that I had the time to properly get used to it. If anyone is thinking more away from designer and towards niche. This is a good intro to niche scent as the oud is much higher quality than you usually get. Oud alone is not too pleasant. Like a lot of fragrances, notes are often made (synthetic) but this oud is great and the freshness is very appealing. It's maybe not good idea to wear to say an office. Let me tell you, if you end up going to a closed small room meeting, you will be told this is strong. It is strong. I think this macerated if that's the right word. I went nose blind when I got this as I over sprayed it. It got to the point it made me sick it was so strong. Someone told me to just do two sprays to the chest under clothes and I have to say that's very good advice and lot of times I do that as to muffle and let develope. Once this tames down it smells great. I must of ate five hundred almonds in my life and one thing I noticed is almonds, to me, don't have a smell. It's like smelling a rock or something. Like I hear often people say they can smell almonds. Maybe it's just me cause I think everyone processes notes different and shows how subjective perfumery really is. So many times I liked something that eventually I despised. Lot of maturity in my nose and I now understand when people say it takes time to appreciate niche scents. I couldn't agree more. I bought Amouage Interlude Man, and first smell I thought it was just yuck. The smoke and incense or frankincense, and lack of freshness made me really want to understand why it was so expensive. Now when I spray it on, I absolutely love it and agree it's a masterpiece. But there is no mint I smell and curious why why would name it mint when there is none. This is one where you will be noticed. If you want random conversations wear this one. I found many people ask me what I'm wearing when I wear this. Some in a good way and some asking in a rude way. It's one where 1oz will last you your whole life cause you won't be wearing this often. Not signature worthy. I think I'm ready now to try Red Tobacco. I love when I see a scent that is polarizing and I love to see why.

Mancera is definitely unique and their library of fragrances is quite huge. You will not spend a lot. It smells way more expensive than it is.

LiamTaylorScents

Mine just arrived today. SUPER smooth, addictive Lemon and Almond scent. I’ll try it in summer with 1 or 2 sprays, but I personally love it. 10/10 for me

Femi_D

I wonder if anyone else gets a bit of lavender in the dry down

GaldermA

Amazing projection and longevity. Unfortunately my wife was not a fan. I have a full bottle to trade. Send me a message if interested.

BASMAJ

Aoud lemon mint is like the fresh luxurious oud fragrance for special occasions in summer... one of the best Manceras, think of Cedrat Boise BUT with added oud + vanilla and white floral in the late dry-down 💚...it can be the perfect wedding day scent or outdoor birthdays, parties by the pool, branch with friends etc ... it's little sweet, citrusy SMOOTH all the way long and the oud is light and surprisingly pleasing with that fresh smooth profile, very classy and solid from the initial spray till the end...It makes me imagine the "kiss moment" in wedding scenes in movies in a beautiful garden or on the beach in Hawaii or on a cliff facing the horizon before the sunset 😄

Performance is great and satisfying around 8 hours on the skin ... I also applied it on a paper strip and it was just getting better and better, high quality simple refreshing fragrance... very detectable for days on that paper so I assume it's long-lasting on clothes... anyway 8 hours form a fresh fragrance is an achievement!

Versatility... it's great for special occasions in summer as I mentioned earlier but I think It's a little heavy or could be too much for the office / daily casual use in summer "daytime" but maybe with fewer sprays I guess it'll work just fine... OTOH, it's perfect at cool summer nights, spring, and fall and in cold weather day or night.. pretty much all year round. Unisex 100%

My next Mancera... Spring is coming its a must!

Very safe for blind buying ... if it's around 100$ and you're still unsure 👉GO AHEAD and just buy it.

MlVC72

I love this one, but somehow for me it's more of a winter/fall scent. It'd be too cloying in summer.

MaloCosquer

Beautiful intoxicating lemon opening that radiates far in top notes followed by a mellow vanilla and amber closing that's intimate and delicious.

IamGigs

It's not a bad frag at all, just not for me.
Any kind of oud even in small amounts, just doesn't work on my skin. I have a bottle I just purchased, 2 sprays missing, full pres. If you would like to swap, message me.

Ben70151

This scent is stunning. Super different. Spring, summer, in fact all year rounder. The citrus for a beach feel and wood for the cooler times. A scent with 2 sides.

Great looking bottle and excellent value for money.

Lemony wood and I actually do get a little mint behind the wood. Almond makes the lemon less citrusy.

Think this may be my signature scent. Love it.

Michaeltodd

I can’t believe I waited so long to purchase this fragrance.such a beautiful and uplifting scent, has that same creaminess as Geurlain lhomme cologne.now my favorite from mancera

Bthompson2388

One of my favorites. One spray, under my shirt, lasts all day. This is nuclear. It can be very cloying if you go with more than 2/3 sprays. I don’t think it’s office friendly. It’s great for casual outside events. Compliment magnet!

Sullii

My favorite scent for the winter/spring, it's very easy to wear, cuts through the cold without issue, it's a compliment magnet and last forever.

But..... it does remind me a lot of (Afnan Supremacy In Heaven), might want to just grab that for the price

Cinema Paradiso

Smell of a memory of a one night stand or what everyone would like that memory to smell like.
Autumn, winter or early spring. Not for a workplace (too flamboyant) unless you're magic Mike..

Spadz97

This fragrance is an absolute show stopper. On first spray I wasn't sure if I would like it as it has a generic, almost cleaning product scent from the opening on a test strip. However this fragrance is one that evolves and shines off skin. The fresh, sweet and creamy accords of the lemon and almond give off a gourmand edge to this fragrance. It's not a bitter or tart lemon but more of a light, zesty and juicy lemon.

I don't detect much oud or mint so the name is misleading as apart from the lemon and almond the next most prominent notes to me are the Amber and vanilla. These notes make the dry down heavenly, sweet and sexy. Not a mega masculine scent but this absolutely kills it with the women so it's definitely a compliment magnet.

A side note aswell the bottle is absolutely gorgeous with the colour gradient, insane pressurised atomizer and magnetic cap.

Performance is out of this world. One spray off the atomizer leaves a sheen on skin from the perfume oil and the quality and blend of the fragrance is truly magical. Lasts well over 10hrs+ off skin and fills a room easily with 4 sprays.

This is my first niche fragrance and I'm looking forward to getting more mancera fragrances in the future especially if they are all as good as this one. I would definitely recommend this fragrance if you want to expand your collection as its like nothing I've ever smelt before.

Johannes27

I blindly got this based on suggestions by Demi Rawling and i have to admit that at first it did not appeal to me. However, it has begun to grow on me. It is a strange mix of oud (accord?) with almond combined with fresh notes but it has no blue vibe on and it is quite a unique smell. On the compliment factor, this attracts both male and female attention at a great extend. Projection and Sillage are great . With 10 sprays it lasts more than 8 hours on me.
As always , try before you buy.

OGTripleOG

ngl it's very sharp at the opening but the dry down is magical. If you want a projection beast with longevity get this, it cuts through the cold ❄️.

Marc1

It's not summer fragrance, unless u live in place where temperature does not exceed 25°C/77°F but maybe it's just my batch, the oud is just too harsh for summertime

Luna_503

Lemon sherbert smell from oud?? 🤦♂️🤣
Some of the reviews on fragrantica crack me up.

Fragmoneypit

Get it at a discount if you can. I payed full price for this about six months ago, but even then it was still worth it IMO. I actually went to the store to smell red tobacco after someone I know wore it one day. I smelled this and it Immediately shocked me. I've never smelled anything like it, but it made me feel a sense of nostalgia. Zesty, earthy, spicy, slightly floral for the first 4 hours. Finishes off nicely with a transition into almond and vanilla pushing it into 8-12 hrs. Worth it, since it could be had under 70 USD at discounters.

RabidRob

Another stunner from Mancera.

The opening is a fizzy lemon sherbert smell from the oud I believe. I do get a minty vibe from it too and it makes me think of a mojito for some reason. This smells unique and could smell slightly harsh to untrained noses I believe.

The drydown is phenomenal. Creamy, sweet and soft vanilla and almond balance out a bright and vibrant lemon.

I think this could be a 4 season scent, probably not for very high heat though. Performance seems very good but I havent tried it out for a long period of time. The fact that this isn't linear keeps my interest too.

The scent truly stands out from the market offering for citrus based scents. For those who are fed up of the classic blue genre or aquatic freshies, this is the one to try out.

silvas

I smell this perfume, on me, about 3-4 h and...bingo! On the final, is very close to Orientica Muntasira (Al Haramain). Mancera have a good quality for sure, but 90% same flavor. Good longevity and projection, but a little bit overrated.

dany2464

This is just nuclear, nice smell but gives me a headache because its so strong

aaronmy

This is a REALLY good-smelling fragrance. This also performs very well on my skin. The lemon, mint, and oud come together perfectly in the opening, and on clothes, the combo brings wonderful whiffs whenever you are looking. Throughout half of the day, the lemon and mint will fade and you mostly get woodiness that will project and this smells just as good as it is in the opening. On the skin, once things dry down and you are ending your day, you'll be able to find the oud and it'll smell a little skanky, and smokey. Performance is awesome and I would wear this any time, day, place.

M-as-Marin

First and foremost, I have to say that there is nothing wrong with this scent in general. It is a mass-pleasing fragrance with a name that doesn’t really reflect what it smells like. Given that oud and mint are in the name of the product, I was quite surprised that they are basically not here. This has happened before with Montale Wood & Spices where the fragrance doesn’t smell anything like the name suggests.

This is where I was slightly disappointed since the additional kick from those two notes would surely bring something new to the game. Especially, the combination of aromatic mint, and western oud.

TOP NOTES
The fragrance opens up with a kinda mentholated candied lemon note which is bright, vibrant, and energetic. The lemon is balanced by a creamy almond and is not something you usually see in warmer weather fragrances which this one is trying to be. Don’t expect a marzipan-like almond accord here or a bitter touch natural almond gives. In the case of this fragrance, almond is used as a support note and feels creamier than almond ice cream would be.

HEART NOTES
The heart notes are predominately made out of jasmine, and here is where the fragrance turns more into a unisex, slightly feminine fragrance, but never goes to that extreme. Patchouli, and oud are nowhere to be found here, and in case you are someone who stays away from typical floral fragrances, you should wait out until the scent takes another turn into warm oriental perfume in the base.

BASE NOTES
Unfortunately for this fragrance, while still being a reminiscence of top and heart notes, what we are left with in dry down are vanilla, spicy amber, and clean musk. Don’t get me wrong, the dry down is likable and pleasant, but a little predictable, and familiar to many other Mancera products.

OVERALL
I guess I’m not the only one who thought there might be something special here, and another smash hit from Mancera.
Good, but far from the best from the house, Aoud Lemon Mint gets the job done with a couple of sideroads here and there to get to where it wants to be. Almonds and vanilla notes always go together like bread and butter, but is that enough for you? If you ask me, get a big sample and then decide whether should you get a full bottle or not.

The first hour or so is really nice. Light, citrusy. After that the citruses disappear and you get a faint almond smell. It's very pleasant, but more or less a skin scent once the citruses disappear.

Koyote44

I think this is my second review of this, I got the magnetic cap version. First time, I found it ok, put 2 sprays 1 on my chest/neck, one on my forearm, then went to work and I was by myself at the office... almost choke myself with it, had to go to remove it with water (made it worse), then with soap and it toned it down by a little less than a half, I did find it ok, then found it I like it.
I forgot about this, summer started a few days ago, went to a barbecue party, and thought, "well, let´s see what this monster is all about". 4 sprays, one to the chest, one to the neck, and the other 2 between my forearm and my biceps, at the fold and drop a tshirt. When I was driving I scent it constantly and even thought "this is too much...". got there, barbecue smell all over, strong burnt coal, etc. Around 40 minutes into it, a girl tells me from the front of a table "wow, what are you wearing? smells so goddamn nice", then another girl comes and says "yeah, I wanted to ask what is that nice scent trail I´ve been smelling since you got here", I was speechless, told them it was a Mancera, then most of the night I got girls smelling me, sometimes I thought it was gone because I couldn´t smell it anymore (turns out you get olfactory fatigue eventually), I pulled the neck of my shirt and BAM, a punch to the nose like saying "YEAH, I´M STILL HERE SUCKER!!!".
"you smell like a mojito", "I´ve never smelled something like that", "you smell so sexy", "you smell so cozy", "you smell so cute" (???)
Yes, completely changed my vibe on this, this is an actual beast, and again, this was a BARBECUE, burnt coal smell, beef cooking, everyone drinking, open huge backyard, wind, summer night... girls from far away from me came to ask me what was it, a couple told me "my boyfriend NEEDS this" lol
scent: 11/10
projection: 20/10
longevity: 10/10 (I woke up and could still smell it as a skin scent (...found someone wrapped around me)

thenoseknows85

*ON SKIN* This is one of those fragrances that can be labeled as a tale of 2 scents. The opening and dry down smell of 2 totally different scents with little to no bridge. Opening is bright slightly sweet creamy nutty. The drydown hits out of nowhere and its dark woody musky nutty. The bridge I feel is that nutty quality. The opening 4-5hrs are great as far as scent, performance and compliments.

*ON CLOTHING* This scent is amazing. The transition through top to base is gorgeous. Those opening qualities mentioned above tamper slowly as those in the middle and base start to pop. If there were a classification for fragrances to wear on skin vs clothing, Aoud Lemon Mint I'd vote 100% clothing!

Memmaao

I can't imagine this as a Summer scent! It's a creamy citron, really balsamic, with sweet almond, well balanced oud and a hint of mint. It's more like an all year round signature scent. I don't like Cedrat Boise nor any other of the aventus like fragrances and manceras's Instant Crush also a basic sweet meh next to this! I think this is the best mancera you can buy! Ok, red tobacco is a beast, but this one is an easy wearable scent, while you need to dig your nose deep to the world of fragrances to bear with red tobacco. And price is spectacular! I bought 120ml for 68€ from a discounter , one of my best buy ever!

Ointmeal

Well bugs certainly seem to love this.

Sunny autumn day - abnormal 25C. I was infested by flies and all sorts of other flying crappities.

I'm so desperate for compliments I'll just take this as one 🤕

P. S. - so many people complaining about '21 batches abysmal longevity. Saw it in the forum too and I belive it. I'm wearing out a so-so performing decant. This is not a beast (but ok/decent) unless you got one of the very first batches - but it's scent profile is supposedly notably different as well, from what I'm gathering.

I like this and I'd purchase if longevity was OK and ~50 monies or under, not more. Wouldn't risk it till I hear otherwise about performance tho.

Better options (... but not 1:1 alternatives) for the asking price as it currently stands.

rygeltm

I got this because I wanted a Mancera I could use during the warmer days and also because of the reviews of great performance. However, it seems that either me and my sister (I asked her to try it on) get nose blinded to it, or my bottle is from a poor batch. It feels as if it projects very weakly and becomes a skin scent after less than 30 minutes and even that lasts for only 4 hours. It doesn't last any longer on clothes as well. Also noticed that the opening does not differ much from the dry down. I'll try to macerate it for 1 month since others have said that it helps particularly for citrus fragrances and i'm really hoping that will do the trick and change my impression of this scent. Mine's batch 2021.

PLK

Creamy but cloying toothpaste smell, I tried to like it but I couldn't. This is not for everyone, me included.

Monke go brr

Oh this is amazing. Very creamy and unique. Notes mix perfectly. No clashing.

Dom Positano

This is great fragrance.

In the first few days of spraying this I was getting an overly creamy smell in the opening that was a bit like body lotion and a bit feminine.

However, after a few weeks the smell has changed and the creamy aspect is really toned down. Now the opening is sweet lemon, not tart or sharp. Which is very nice.

The drydown is amazing, the oud comes out with patchouli. A great combination. Retains a brightness throughout.

I suspect many of the reviews on here which talk about creamy almond smell, either just have samples that don't have the opportunity to macerate or they have put reviews up following one or two uses. The only thing I would wish is that is was a touch less sweet in the opening couple of hours but other than that, it's almost perfect.

This fragrance is very unique and very powerful and long lasting. I think 3 sprays may be too much indoors, so this is great value for money.

I like it but I don’t love it. I get a sweet lemon candy opening, then some other citrus but it’s not a fresh scent. It’s thick in a way then these other sweetness comes in you still get the lemon but less prominent. There is a touch of a mint probably the patchouli or something. There is no oud I can’t detect it, the leather note is my favorite it’s a nice soft leather note with a creamy touch. My nose sometimes goes blind to the scent and then it comes back, I know it’s there but sometimes I can barely smell it. The dry down is my favorite part it’s sweet touches of vanilla with a nice leather and cream with a very slight citrus scent, I don’t see the beast mode on this one. I like it a lot but I don’t love it.

The best Mancera, so beautiful.

Mad projection and insane longevity, massive compliment getter. ❤️❤️❤️

Projects like crazy!

Love and hate. When I can smell this, it is a lovely scent, beautiful lemon, airy aoud and creaminess. Sometimes this projects like crazy, but most of the time it does not. In fact I can barely smell it. This is not a knock on the fragrance, but more so my nose, and a particular note...the almond. Normally I love almond, thinking of Pegasus and Sweet Oriental Dream, but the almond note here does not contain the bitter almond that I can really detect, think marzipan...but more a raw almond/sweet almond note. This muddies the fragrance and makes it fuzzy and undetectable.

The opening is a bit harsh. Feels like Armaf CDNIM edt for a while. But the dry down smells really good. This frag has the similar scents profile as Aoud Blue Notes. But I think ABN is better than this. Woody and fresh with a hint of sweetness. It's a really versatile one and has a great performance. Long lasting, about 10+ hours with a massive projection for about 4-5 hours. If you want softer approach of this scent, then go for ABN. It's not a safe blind buy IMO. If you love this, you can wear it almost on any season.

Femi_D

I am extremely nose blind to this after the first day which does not happen for a fragrance with a beast mode review on sillage, I hope it does better after a few months on the shelf.
Smells like almonds and cream.

Moedalloul

Just sprayed this on
This smells UNIQUE but nice and sexy and cozy!
Definitely going to give this a full wear and be back...

Such a beautiful, easy-to-like fragrance. A very safe choice if you wanna start owning a niche perfume.

I'm gonna put a little disclaimer; the bottle that I wore was a screw cap one.

Aoud Lemon Mint is citrusy, creamy, and faintly nutty. The sweetness and freshness is perfectly balanced, providing a pleasantly unique experience.

I get why people who are drawn to traditional perfumery might view this fragrance as confusing, but I personally think most of them will enjoy the scent eventually once they’re used with something different.

The slight drawback for this fragrance is that I wish they didn’t include oud at all. It’d be perfect if it was cleaner.

The performance is monstrous, though. 12+ hours on skin with 5-foot projection in the first 4 hours.

Excellent juice.

EDIT [1/12/2022]:
Got myself a magnetic cap bottle, batch 7/2021. I'll let the fragrance macerate for 6 months before dropping another full review. Although after 2 full wears, I can say the projection for the first 4 hours is I N S A N E. Also, the smell is a fresher and zestier, which I personally prefer. See you in June 2023.

I have to say that this became my signature scent, something that isn't very easy. A very complex parfume with many different stages all the way from the oppening to the dry down. It is a beautiful, sofisticated and unique scent which can be weared all year around. 24 hours per day. The quality of the juice is above average providing a long lasting, well projecting strong fragrance. The scent bubble is amazing and it will follow you for 8 to 10 hours. 9/10 from me.

This had me very curious. Got a sample to try it out...

... and very quickly I got notably nose blind to it. Might be super strong, might have used too much - or both!

Initially I thought it smells interesting in the air but close to the skin I get (...well, got) a very synthetic, chemical kick to it that I'm not crazy about.

Makes it feel cold and somewhat metallic. Synthetic lemon with what I guess is synthetic oud interpretation. Is this the musk? See, I can't tell in detail what I'm picking up on first wearing.

Not a sweet fragrance imo.

I'll definitely have to give it a proper wearing after a few days and hope I don't get as nose blind again - but on first sniff I'm honestly left scratching my head a bit.

0.2:

Not the blind buy safe YouTube might have you believe. Honestly try to source a sample first if you can.

MANCERA AOUD LEMON MINT
9/10/22

Masculine, creamy, citrus, almond and oud. Fantastic and unique combination. Beast performance. I own a 2019 or 2020 120ml bottle w/magnetic cap. Lasts 10-12 hours on skin. Longer on clothes.

Occasions? Superb for salsa/bachata dancing! Great for long, outdoor gatherings/casual wear (2-3 sprays). IMO...not office appropriate and way too strong for dating. Anytime but high heat/humidity. I really like it and recommend it.

You will STAND OUT from the crowd nicely with this.

ZXWolf

on the dry down it comes almost as Guerlain L'Homme Idéal L'Intense

When I was on vacation, I took this with me to see how it would work in heat. One evening when I went to get something to eat my roommate put this before he and his girl went out. I came back to where we were staying and that fragrance met me at the door like wow. It was all through the condo, the living room my room and the kitchen etc. The lady I was with said the place smelled great. She didn't know it was a fragrance but she really enjoyed it. The fragrance lingered all evening. This is a great smelling beast in my opinion.

britishpetro2

never had a feeling lemon hanging around my neck the whole day. this is super lemony. it feels like a lemon based car perfume. i dont love it or hate it. i didnt find it interesting or sexy.

RLB1979

I'll be honest I didn't really know what to think of this at first but I really like it now it's creamy, it's citrusy a little earthy as it softens up, great warm weather fragrance but I wouldn't wear it in hot weather because you will most likely choke people out with this even in cooler weather be easy with the trigger because this stuff is loud, if you are looking for a niche summer fragrance or even just getting into niche fragrances this one is worth checking out, would I suggest blind buying it like I did? No get a sample and wear it a few times even though I came around to liking it some might not

Kalamasa

Good smell, but boring. The smell of office executive, late 30s, successful. Thats it. Theres no twist or something eccentric. Very masculine. Very good sillage and projection. Good price too. But me personally pass this scent.

cashewdoc

One of the few fragrances I've encountered that I simply despise. I'm jealous of all of you that enjoy it, I'm sure there's something magical here that I'm missing. However, there is just some sort of aroma inside of this scent that viscerally repulses me. Perhaps it is Mancera's synthetic oud? I am unsure.

HulkJr

Fantastic scent, standouts for me are purely the floral jasmine and the Patchouli with just a hint of Vetiver behind it, maybe some form of synth Oud, but it's barely noticeable.

I get citrus for all of 10 seconds, maybe some vanilla and amber further into the drydown.

For those saying 'ThERe'S nO mInT iN tHiS', you'll find that Patchouli is in the Mint Family of plants, so yeah, I'd be more inclined, with the patchouli bomb that this is, to just call it MINT. Next to no lemon, next to no Oud.

theprogamerisme

This my top oud based perfume, its sweet, woody, citrusy all blended well together. This is a strong scent for me so you might not want to spray more than 5. Very well made perfume, will definitely get the big bottle when I can! 10/10

Piersicaru

Blind bought it. Such a beautiful masterpiece. Incredibly well-behaved during the summer, for such notes. In the dry down, I get sniffs of that leather note and it makes me wanna sniff myself.
I've been mainly using this during Bicycle night rides (30+ km / 18+ miles) and I just kept inhaling it. Not to mention the turned heads lol.
It also performs good in day time heat (42 C / 107 F).
Would definitely buy again. Hope they won't mess the performance. I've got a magnetic cap bottle.
Batch : 21K306D (Nov. 2021)

Scent 10/10
Projection 9/10
Sillage 10/10
Longevity ~ 6-8 hours with good projection, then SLOWLY becomes a skin scent

I do not own a lot of Mancera fragrances but the first thing I can say the names of some fragrances are weird. I own Aoud Lemon Mint.... There is Oud, the is a ton loads of lemon in the stages of the fragrance but there is NO Mint! So why is this in the name? Regardless, it is a lovely scent, I have seen some people on here or in vlogs saying you can't blind buy this. I think you could. Just do not spray a lot of this in the warmer weather. It opens up with that bright burst of lemon and it continues throughout the fragrance where other notes/accords starts to come in mandarin orange, you get the pepper in the mid/dry down the oud comes in but it is not that offensive "stanky" oud like for example oud touch or oud vanille it is just a pleasant oud note. The base is sweet vanilla and the amber coming out. The longevity is beast mode I recently acquired this and it works great for the day and I could see this as a clubbing scent if you want to stand out. I get 8-10 hours out of this. Lastly, please don't spray your neck are with this, or else you will induce a headache and choke yourself out.

steve-o-reno

I've had this fragrance for about a year now and it's still just a "like" for me. It's definitely a unique scent and unisex. I don't think it's a blind buy. The name of this doesn't make much sense in my opinion. Any citrus (if any at all) you get from the first initial spray and then it's gone in 5 seconds. Mint? I don't think so. I think if the name were changed to something else, people wouldn't be so quick to say they smell lemon or mint in it. What I DO smell a lot of in this fragrance, is a creamy almond, hint of vanilla, light oud that sits in the background with some musk. It's a creamy fragrance throughout and lasts on me the entire day with 3 sprays...I can still smell it on me the following day easily. It's strong enough for winter, but I would not recommend this on a hot summer day unless you want to choke someone out. I see this working best in the spring and fall.

Would I buy another bottle? Probably not. I think this one will last me a very long time.

daniel_bunardzhiev

I got my bottle today. I tried it after gym and went to work. I must say I was a little disappointed...UNTIL I started getting compliment...from-every-single-person-I-met! Never happened to me so far. So even though not my favourite scent I will definitely wear it when I want to impress.

TREVRmusic

Anyone ever have a blue String Thing as a kid? That's this smell to the absolute tee!

RisingChaos

Effervescent lemon underpinned by a clean oud and fresh aromatics. It's the mid notes that are most prominent with the earthy oud, uplifting jasmine, and sweet patchouli all taking an equal role alongside the lemon plus a touch of spices. Kind of a sweet musky lemon, all in all. Strangely addicting, very unique "freshie." Moderately strong projection for 2-3hr, longevity 8-10hr.

Arber Cami

Opens up citrusy, dry down is spicy, woody and a hint of mint, almost no oud for me. Meh.
Nothing to write home about.
