Great layering combo with Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt 👌

This is so, so beautiful.... for the half hour it lasts. Such a pretty mint, tea, citrus - with slight smokiness (from the coffee beans?) and a satiny jasmine petal. Then it's gone. I've been scouring the web for a bottle of this, but have come to think I can't really justify the price with this performance.

Heart broken 3 this was such a perfect mint. Looking for a similar scent that can keep me refreshed through a summer day!

arizonaruby

I absolutely love mint in perfume and this sounded so promising, but the performance lets it down. Even overspraying, I can barely smell it and it lasts about 30 minutes. From what I can smell, it’s lovely: a crisp and refreshing mint/tea scent, rounded out by some jasmine to stop it being too harsh or bitter. I find this is a common (and frustrating) issue with this house - they actually do really interesting and unique scents, but all of them have awful performance.

UltimateBussySlayer

It reminds me of like a summer time mojito, its just so delicious. it not too sweet but not too tart. It is definitely one of my all time favourites. Personally i also smell some sort of a liquorice note that is not mentioned anywhere, looove it.

Sniffathon

I just love a fresh green fragrance with hints of citrus and mint. Lovely mojito-esque uplifting perfume. This is the second Miller et Bertaux perfume I have tried - along with Green, Green, Green & Green, they are both as fantastic as each other. But also, both are achingly disappointing at how weak they are especially for the cost. I would happily buy them both at a steal and re-spritz every hour, but otherwise not worth the money.

Anabanana08

Smells like alcohol free mojito - mint muddled with sugar. Very pleasant. It does have some masculine qualities peaking through, like a light deodorant or aftershave, but not a bad one, it's fresh, but it takes away from the realistic qualities of mint. Still very nice.
I really love mint notes in perfumes in general.

Cloelles

This has a fresh mint peaking through a bit but overall this perfume does not smell like actual fresh bush of mint which is a shame. It is still amazing. To me this smells like sugar water with few fresh mint leaves in there and a slice of lemon. It's fresh and natural, some sweetnes there. No herbal qualities at all (thank god!) and not at all perfume-y or alcohol smelling (thank god!) Longevity and sillage though are not great.. have to overspray to get personal whiffs for a few hours. Reapply after 2-3h. Still absolutely Amazing scent with a well earned capital A. So natural and divine, worth all the reapplies! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

If you are sensitive to strong perfumes and don't really care for most perfumes due to the synthetic and alcoholic edge they have (like myself) but still want to smell nice yet natural, this scent is for you.

I got it in the wrong season and I just can't wear a cold minthy fragrance when it's cold outside :)
A good complement to Heeley menthe fraische

QuincesI

A beautiful mint tea, without pretension, in simple evolutionary layers, without any fuss: it's relaxing.

Very acidulous top notes (maybe a little too much for my taste, but it disappears quickly), in a nice green (not a candy apple green, more a chlorophyll green, a late spring/early summer green), followed by nuances, with a mini almost bamboo side in the top notes (which they don't display, while many others claim it without having it), which disappear however very quickly

It then quickly evolves into a very fresh mint tea, the one picked in big bunches directly from the garden, the one which embalms the fingers without even having to rub the leaves, in short, a little moment which always feels good.

I completely miss the citrus side (or really only the leaves), but I do get a nice (very, very minimal) creamy white jasmine/coffee look after a few hours. That's what stays on the development (which is all sweetness, all nuance, and very interesting), with still that little touch of freshness (but not a Hollywood chewing gum effect) in the background.

I like Miller and Bertaux: I have found their perfumes simple but lively, and above all relaxing, and accessible. No ambition to make an olfactory revolution, I think, but more to offer pure perfumes and small pleasures. The kind of perfume you would give to someone you know who doesn't really like to wear perfume, or who is tired of big, drippy notes and pretentious perfumes. It's faithful, very humble, and soothing to the heart and nose.

I avoided sampling this for a while because of owning Heeley Menthe Fraiche and this one having very similar notes. However Menta y Menta is a completely different interpretation of mint, a bright and nostalgic side to Heeley's intense dark spearmint.
While the Heeley is intense in its photorealistic crushed spearmint drying into a fougere-ish tea cedar drydown, Menta y Menta is an initially bright and tart and then mellow sweet watery mint, a mint dew almost, drying down to a sweet almost sugary and slightly nutty clean musk skin scent.
I get about 4 hours from both in the summertimer, perhaps an additional 30mins from MF.
I prefer the Heeley for daily wear due to its superior performance and potency, but Menta y Menta has a certain Sunday morning charm that is slowly convincing me to add yet another mint fragrance to my collection.

Cherry_Darling

Really nice mint note, fresh, sweet, a bit floral, and coffee which makes it strangely morning routine like, coffee, toothpaste :) Very nice, wearable, but you do have to be a mint lover i'm not sure I am one in perfumery.

A wonderful mint, fresh and cool, in which all the pleasant aspects are heard: menthol, herbs, herbs, spice. I’ll even say more, at one time I tried a lot of mint flavors. This one is quite worthy.

A sketch of one business trip morning, in a rush, on the go: a slurry of tooth powder on a shelf in front of a mirror, a couple of sprays of a nameless cologne in a heavy old bottle, a wind that brings the smell of linden into the living room, hastily brewed coffee. They look towards Miller & Bertaux when they want lightness, charm, and irony — rare qualities in the niche perfumery today, but no less valuable for this.

OTA Mom

Lovely green mint but only such a short number at the beginning of the show. Like someone else said, good for pillow spray, just enough longevity to fall asleep enjoying

Unisexlover

Out of love for the green, citrus fruits and the olfactory intention to integrate the underrated mint into everyday life, Menta y Menta is now on this skin.

First of all, strong alcohol, like kissing after brushing your teeth in the morning after a party. Then the "wonderful" smell of cheap, masculine aquatic shower gel--obviously a lighter, more complex, avant-garde version––a substitute for the demanding nose: freshly ground mint, peel and freshly unpacked Wrigley's Doublemint. Just as short-lived. In the top note generously a proximity to CdG Play Green.

The rest, a natural reminiscence of fragrances from the 1990s that celebrated the near future and the synthetic in a science-fiction-soaked manner. 2019, Menta y Menta is now all about nature. This is where the delicate floral sounds are heard.

The lemon is soon missing. Even the sillage. After an astonishingly short development time, only a vague trace of delicate jasmine blossom remains on this skin, freshly showered in the above-mentioned shower gel, perhaps coffee or tonka in the background. Far away, somewhere in the distance: a shadowy echo of naturalised CK Be. Unfortunately too late for the revival of the nineties. That was over 5 years ago and is over again.

Menta y Menta is a fresh, sparkling, flowery unisex scent that depends on the wearer's imagination.

The fragrances of Miller et Bertaux are meant to be layered, and this is absolutely essential for this fragrance. On freshly showered, lotion-free virgin's skin Menta y Menta disappears immediately...
