I instantly recognize a candy that tastes exactly like this fragrance: fizzy, fruity, with hints of ripe pear. Later on, the dry down is unexpectedly subtle and perfect on its own. Personally, I would have appreciated a hint of leather or tobacco to balance out the medium fruitiness, but it's still worth buying. It's incredibly fresh and clean, unlikely to overwhelm anyone. The initial spray may be misleading, but the dry down is subtly heavenly.

Much later, it reminds me of the scent of someone's scalp after showering with a pleasantly fragranced shampoo, combined with their natural skin scent. It's simple and lovely, not trying to be anything more.

If that pear was more greenish this was banging
Nice for female

hot_imouto

Smells just like a fizzy pear soda. I really enjoy it. It doesn't last all day, which is a bit sad for this price point. I'm still repurchasing it however.

On my skin itsmells like a really good smelling bathroom at a nail salon. I can tell it will smell really good on someone with the right skin chemistry

Well, a pear note in a fragrance and a Montale perfume can be a hit-or-miss for me because both tend to be too sharp and musky for my liking. Therefore, I was all the more happy to realize how lovely the pear note in Wild Pears is: it reminds me of preserved pears, a concentrated fruity smell with a light sweetness.
A soft muskiness starts to emerge during drydown, but it never gets overpowering and ultimately contributes to the excellent longevity of the fragrance. Even the next day, I can still smell remnants of pear and a light muskiness on my clothes. This is definitely a must-try for pear lovers.

The fragrance was born in 2011 when fruity aromas are particularly fashionable and fashion houses begin to have fun adding fruit notes to their compositions more and more often. Even the Montale perfume brand is inspired by this particular trend and decides to create a series of fragrances using very common but at the same time little-used fruits in artistic perfumery. Among these is the "wild pear" the dominant note of the Wild Pears perfume. This creation is included in the collection called “Among the Fruits” designed for lovers of delicious fruity notes. The idea recalls a ripe fruit that falls from the tree and remains abandoned in the garden, mixing with other aromas and releasing a gradually stronger and more intense trail. To its characteristic sweet juicy taste is added a spicy astringency that tickles the sense of smell. The note of wild pear opens the fragrance and characterizes it until the end, to which is added the bergamot of Calabria. The heart is composed of a bouquet that adds sweetness and carnality: lily of the valley intertwines with carnation creating a balanced mix. At the base, Montale inserts universal and romantic aromas such as sandalwood, musk and vanilla which make the composition sweet and creamy. I love her is a flirtatious pear… so persistent

This really smells like that old fashioned pear beverage, in Eastern Europe known as "dushes". So yes, there are certainly pears and I can feel then throughout the wear. However, probably to make it more sophisticated (or more wearable for a woman in her 50s) and less like fruity body mist, there are other notes added and it ruins for me. Cannot tell if it is the carnation or a mixture of notes, but is smells like a sharp harsh floral and this particular scent is completely off putting. Surely not a safe bless nd buy.
Lasting power /sillage is okay though.

this scent does not mix well with my skin, and im starting to think none of the montale frags do. I was so excited for this pear perfume. The opening is nice but wasnt the blast of pear I was expecting, it was more subdued. But on dry down? This smells exactly like carmex on my skin.

Definite try before you buy!

mrssugarrush

Smells like spicy baby wipes.
The pear note is there for only a second. So, if you are looking for a pear perfume, then I suggest you skip this one!

toosimilar

My goodness, first spray - it's just a famous lemonade "Dushes"!
Overwhelmingly sweet and stiсky!
But later, due to flowery notes in the pyramid, it becomes even nice
and quite wearable!

Advice: try it before buy it

UPD: i love it in summer days! It sounds much fresher, it's a scent of happiness!

DanqaRose

I enjoy this pear fragrance, it's the only perfume in which I can recognise pear. After this magnificent pear blast , comes in a mature drydown who resembles very much to La Dolce Vita by Dior.

dharastover

I am so saddened by this perfume. I am a lover of anything pear and I ordered a sample directly from the website. This smells like baby powder or a baby wipe. the pear top note lasts for 5 seconds on me and leaves the powdery base. I’m glad I didn’t blind buy it and I don’t suggest that you do either if you are looking for something heavy on pear.

TjSmellsGood

Some people say canned pears, I do think it's a bit more towards the fresh side. Reason being is canned pears typically have that almost artificial sweetness to them with the syrup, and this scent is much milder. On a scale of sweet like syrup to dry bitter, it leans sweet but not by much. The opening is a bit strong on the alcohol and punchy with the fruit scent, but the drydown has the floral notes come through a lot more in almost a 50/50 balance with the fresh pear. There's just a hint of woody spiciness in the back, barely noticable. Vanilla, not so much, but maybe that's just my nose.

This scent clearly leans feminine but as a guy I'm happily wearing this - it's very fresh and clean and fruity, but in a sophisticated way. I find it just sweet enough to be inviting without being sickly.

Really enjoy this scent. Ironically I bought Chocolate Greedy and got this by mistake - guess happy accidents do happen!

Patricia888

Never expected to love this but it has a very exciting edge to this perfume - maybe unexpected match with pear and bergamot? I don`t yet know. You can surely feel pears but they are a bit green (yeah, wild) and fresh and there is just something so good going on here. Thoroughly enjoying this scent in springtime.

Well, this is interesting. I’m shopping samples looking for that perfect pear. This ain’t it. The pear is a hit-and-run. It’s in and out so fast, I don’t know how they put pear in the name. BUT…the middle notes are lovely. I guess it’s the carnation I’m getting the most of. It’s a bit on the spicy side, as carnations are. Finally, it settles into a lot of sandalwood, which is a logical transition from the spiciness of the carnation. I can’t speak to silage and longevity at this point, but I’m loving this for the surprises it brought and just ordered a full bottle.

rickyrebarco

I bought this blindly, adding it to a sale order for Montale's Roses Musk and I have been testing it on skin for a couple of days. It opens with some bergamot and a nice juicy pear note, but that fades on my skin fairly quickly, leaving a pleasant, powdery mix of LOTV, a bit of carnation, a good dose of white musk, light vanilla and sandalwood. It's a nice skin scent, but I wanted more of a lasting pear note. It will be a good choice for airplane travel when I'm in close proximity with others and want a very soft skin scent to wear. So far, my favorite pear scent remains Patricia de Nicolai's Angelys Pear fragrance.

Seuni

I like it. It leans female. It smells of wild pears, it really does, but all this in a flowery, soapy way. Some might say it has an old lady or cheap perfume vibe, so sample first. The pear is very intensive and apparent, but it's soapy, smooth and creamy actually (probably the sandalwood/vanilla combo).

InfiniteStarla

Wow, the opening of this is gorgeous. I love pear scents and get a fresh, juicy, bright realistic pear for the first 10-15 minutes, I was simultaneously in nasal heaven and complete fear for my bank account at needing to shell out for a full bottle as it was so ripe and delicious smelling. However, that pear fades after the first 15 mins, leaving an underwhelming light, vaguely floral, somewhat powdery dry down. I get the carnation, but it's not obviously so, just kind of an absence of pear than a presence of anything else! Ah what a let down. Will enjoy the opening of the rest of my sample decant from Notino and then move on.

Lixa

The much anticipated pear is clear and pretty realistic in the first 5 to 10 seconds, then it dissapears completely into a harsh, non-descript, unpleasant mess. Had to wash it off actually.
Also, the price is insane for ANY perfume, let alone this one. Hard pass.

_I.V_

Love. Extremely long lasting. Opens with fizzy sparkling pear notes, like a pear flavored soda drink. Carnation makes it spicy, and sandalwood / vanilla make it warm and sexy. In the drydown it's more of a spicy pear crumble pie scent... with soft florals in the background. More of a fruity floral fragrance, than gourmand.

Don't blind buy if you're not comfortable with carnation. I think a lot of people are confused about a floral part of this fragrance which is a dominant carnation...and it can smell weird, too floral, too retro, too spicy, like cloves... Also, Wild Pears smells different on different people, some get pear, some get spicy florals. I've tested it on my family, hahaha... I love it in summer months, I get more pear soda vibes. Cold temperatures bring out florals for some reason.

emerson10

WHAT AN AMAZING PEAR SCENT. For those who think pear is a daytime, fresh scent, may I introduce you to her evening form?

Minus my middle school DKNY Be Delicious days, I have had no interest in pear. To me, it's always straddled between fresh and sweet in a way that satisfies neither desire.

But Wild Pears. WOW. For my former DKNY peeps, this is the grown sexy version. It opens with a most realistic juicy warm pear, but it's creamy and vanilla! Sensual pear - pear for the evening. About a half hour in, a muskiness comes out, that's just, yes, I'll say it again, SEXY. I'm surprised when people talk about their Montale faves this one doesn't come up more often.

The dry down several hours later is a like and not a love from me-- still creamy, but after the pear fades, the strong floral really comes out, in a way on my skin, that veers a tad into a scent my great aunt used to wear-- elegant, but more mature (over sensual). It's a very anisic floral that actually reminds me a bit of Lilac Love.

All in all, a very pleasant surprise.

It smells like the place of a hairdresser I used to visit when i was a kid in the early 2000s

giri-boni

I know there was a briefing, a perfumer, evaluators, clients, people who like this... But I just can't. It smells plastic... Weird... Cheap....

Veracruz

This is not the juicy, sparkly, fresh pears I was hoping for (or imagining from reading the reviews). The first couple minuets it’s canned pears but then it turns very perfumy and reminiscent of vintage cold cream, like those overly perfumed face creams that came in a jar. Not a bad scent just took me by surprise. I was expecting a more refined/sophisticated version of VS Pear Glace or something along those lines. If you’re looking for fresh pears (or a fruity gourmand) definitely test before you buy!

Deutsch100

Blind buy, full 3.3 oz bottle. I read so many reviews going on and on about the smell of delicious pears or spiced pears and I kept reading pears, pears, pears.....and you know what? I don't get much of a pear smell :( If I really focus, I can kind of detect it, but this is absolutely nothing what I expected, or hoped for. On me, the first few mins are quite strong, and then this turns into kind of a mess. It is VERY "perfumey" on me, and I never get fruity, fresh or delicious pears. I so wish I would have tested this first. Being honest, this is not the first Montale that has totally disappointed me.

Montale Wild Pears EDP opens with a moderate projection of sweet, fruit, citrus, and white florals. The opening is very fresh, intense, natural, elegant, and inviting. The pear is the opening most noticeable note, natural, moist, sweet, sharp, and evocative of the aroma of the actual fruit. The bergamot is a passing visitor that enhances the pear but it does not last long, it will soon be replaced by the white lemony musk. The lily-of-the-valley and carnation are one or two steps behind the pear, they both combine their accords adding a white, bright, and slightly green floral note. As the fragrance commences to dry-down, a mild powdery and lemony note develops from the musk sweetened by an also mild, rich, and warm sandalwood. The vanilla is the last note to enter the fragrance adding also a mild, sweet, cozy, comforting, and dessert-like accord. The fragrance has a noticeable but simple opening to dry down change, the opening is very intense and projecting, the pear and bergamot are sharp. Towards the dry down, the musk will develop cutting down some of this wonderful initial intensity with its powdery and lemony touch; simultaneously, the fragrance will lose projection, taking a step down to a moderate-low. Once Montale Wild Pears EDP has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate to a low projection, mildly sweet, powdery musky, pear, and white floral fragrance. The fragrance feels aromatic, clean, cozy, delectable, delicate, diurnal, elegant, fresh, gentle, high-quality, inviting, modern, natural, nicely-blended, slightly powdery, refined, relaxing, romantic, unique, unisex, versatile, and very pleasant.

Imagine biting into a juicy, ripe pear and at the same time getting a hint of very soft smelling laundry detergent - that is exactly what this smells like to me. I love how fresh this is without being aquatic or citrusy, and fruity but not in an immature way that's sticky sweet. Absolutely beautiful and very easily worn. I love this!

ReapThaWhirlwind

Wild Pears is a fruity gourmand. The fragrance begins with the scent of a very vivid natural brown pear. And I mean very natural—rind and all. It has a juicy quality to it, slightly spiced from sandalwood; gourmandish and almost pie-like.

This essence last a short moment, and then the fragrance begins to develop into to a more refined blend. Fuller bodied, smoother—more sensual and comforting. The vanilla really opens up, and with the resins and spices, the fragrance begins to take on a full form gourmand aroma.

This stage of the fragrance is just really lovely I have to say. Very warm and welcoming—and ever so comforting in the way that all the stimulating facets meld together. A very satisfying aroma—temping you to believe that it's worth the asking price.

Unisex—yes. But certainly subject to some restrictions I would say. I think a woman could wear this out on the town without any trouble. The gourmand essence is pretty neutral, but it still leans a bit feminine. Thus, for a man, it's probably best reserved for private time at home. It turns your bed into a giant joocey poose. So delectable. You can fall right asleep—it really puts your heart at rest.

Unfortunately, the best stage of this fragrance only lasts an extended while, from which it then fully dries down and unvelops the black musk Montale heavily concentrated into the base. It is a very stale, unappeasing musk. Stingy, sour—very dark and brooding. One of Montale's signature musks, that presents itself in the same fashion throughout a myriad of his works.

A boot reference possibly? A demon or the devil that talks to him? Possibly more "darkness to show light". No matter what his ideal might be—it truly curses the fragrance and the creator. Leaving one helpless to do anything but disbelieve. It's truly the kind of sickening, pungent essence that makes you want to scrub it off instantly. And worse even, never the kind of thing you'd ever want to experience again.

Yet for the beauty in the opening, likely a punch one wouldn't hesitate to roll with timelessly. Chalking it up to another cruel fate by the hand of Montale—and thus—cruel destiny for this fragrance and all of its beholders.

stephanieklein

This opens with NYQUIL then morphs straight into hardcore ropes of LICORICE. Black licorice so strong that I had to wipe the one spray off my wrist. This stage passes, but not quickly enough for me. I do not get pears all the way through, no. I get a sliver of pear, perhaps, but mostly licorice. This was a carded sample straight from Montale.

It has dried down into a wearable wooded something, but not one I'd ever want to purchase. This is not a sweet watery pear, be warned.

EDIT: Even though this arrived from Montale in a card titled WILD PEARS, I'm wondering if they messed up and instead mistakenly sent me another fragrance (perhaps Montale Aoud Greedy)

AEL

If you like the scent of ripe, sweet, juicy pears, then this one is for you. It's the most authentic pear scent that I have come across
The scent is very linear! Pears, Pears and more Pears, from beginning to end.
This fragrances is marketed as unisex however I think it's more of a women's fragrance. It's so different from the usual male fragrances in my collection
I like it very much!

pennyannswart

I am in love with this totally, I am talking signature scent. It is soft and sweet and creamy and powdery and just so gorgeous!!! Pears, juicy, sweet, edible, sublime yet bold and staying in the forefront. I just can’t get over this smell. Dreamy!!!

AndySmellsGreat

GORGEOUS for a REFRESHING CHANGE! But only for 30 - 60 minutes :(

Blind bought some gourmands on a whim.

Reminds me at first of a sweet sparkling pear cider (non alcoholic) that dries down to Pear Tart with icing sugar after about 1 - 2 hours. Occasionally the Carnation waft overpowers the experience and makes it smell a bit like old fashioned hairspray.

Unfortunately after 2 hours the carnation dominates and all of what made it an awesome smell is gone almost completely making it just basically a carnation perfume or makes me smell like I just fixed my beehive hair do.

I do not get any incense at all, projection was minimal after 1 hour - so for me an interesting distraction but not a keeper - an EDP should work MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!

EDIT: I just read Eleni s review and it was exactly the same for me.

fishwife

This is the only Montale I've tried so far and love...sweet and spicy pears...what isn't there to love?...it's not as big and monstrous and many of Montale's other creations...worth seeking out if you like citrus and want to try something completely different...

This perfume was a blind buy online because of a really good sale so t took a chance. It is very strong from the start and has excellent projection at least 6 feet away. On me this perfume is not sweet at all it smells powdery, woodsy, and a hint of incense once it dries down only in beginning does the juicy fresh pears stand out. I really like this perfume! I live in the Arizona desert where it gets over 125 degrees so this perfume is a very strong scent in the heat. It is only in 90s in April but this perfume is a beast on me projecting so strong I will not wear it in situations where it could choke others as overwhelming. I highly recommend this perfume if you love Montele fragrances or fruity woodsy scents.

Sol123

For me, this perfume smells precisely like a pear-sorbé that we were given as children during summertime. It smells like canned pears and carnations dripped in sweet sweet goodness. On me, the perfume changes during the day, with intermittent wiffs of the pear and carnation. The dry-down is a sweet mix of must and vanilla, while still remaining true to its initial spray in terms of fruitiness. Great staying power!

Mouthwatering!

Pianomelody

In this parfume i feel a distant scent of incense that is fantastic, the pear dominates but also the carnation, all combined in a sublime fruity/floral harmony. A scent that envelops and involves you. Overall i like it enough, love it!

Sillage: 7.5/10
Longevity: 9./10
Scent: 8.5/10

Overall: 8.5/10

cranky137

I don't feel incense. I wish I would. For me this is a jammy pear body lotion. Pear is so fruity sweet for 1 hour until going down to a vanilla-musk base. Quite boring and linear.
If you like pear I would suggest looking at Miller Harris Pourier d'un Soir.

AlexUrbano369

The name for this should be "Incense Pear"

All that i smell is incense and pear, but more incense than pear.

cedar_lea

My this transforms!

It started with a near perfect pear, like opening a jar of mom's canning. The spice from the carnation and a bit of floral comes in and then joins with lily of the valley in soapiness.

There is also a creaminess. Whoever said it smelled like lotion was correct. This isn't an edible creamy. This is something with shea butter and other creamy bits in it.

But it changes again, drying down to a musky vanilla.

The longevity was around 6 hours.

larita91

Monsieur Montale perfectly balanced spiced pear fragrance. He usually does perfumes too heavy for me, but it's quite a different one.
Crispy pears from the first minute.....mouthwatering! It is fruity, sweet, but not cloying or overwhelming at all. And when it settles it become a spicy almost tarty pear smell with only a little bit sandalwodd-musky undertone. I am totally in love with this.
Sillage is depends on how many sprays you use, but is stays strong, longetivity is 4-6 hours on me, than it goes back to a skincent.

NataliaChudo

I feel this one as a pear-musky blend. In fact, even after several hours from first spraying it, I get no bergamot nor vanilla. Just plain pears in musk. To my nose, there is a vintage take to this fragrance as well... is it you, carnation??
Not bad for pear fragrance, not sure whether it lives up to Montale standard, though. I mean, there are so many Montale numbers with more twisted and complex and interesting pyramides to begin with...but if yoy are on a market for a good, non artificially-smelling pear-this one is for you. Staying power and sillage is notable.

jeffwithfrags

The pears here are Ok but are sort of synthetically sweet at 1st as there are no accompanying fruits or bolder, richer notes to back it up.

It lacks zestyness theme or just any plain zestyness to balance out the synthetic part of the opening accord. This cannot be considered a straight-up freshy basically.

There's a nice rich splash of good Quality bergamot that's done very well to lend a freshening balance and lift the pears with the sweetness and it's bordering nice for the 1st half hour but it never shakes off the strange synth-tanning lotion vibe.

Sadly, it then goes through it's worst stage, ending up like a luminous, simple body lotion rather than sweetening up with a green pear contrasting a custardy vanilla - which is what I was hoping for.

I think hazelnut or another gourmand would have balanced this better but it's not a bad scent.

It's still better than Illuminum's Ginger Pear but maybe it's simply not my preferred fruit in a scent. I'd always like to go with blackcurrant or pineapple.

Later, the sandalwood gives a nice bit of boldness but really it's not quite enough to justify an already pretty simple scent.

The real let down is the lack of a strong vanilla. Either boozy or full gourmand would have made a lot of difference but in the end the pear unsweetens and just fades into nothing which is not impressive.

My rating: 5/10.

Liarmother

Great scent, I did not expect that much of pear and I love that I was wrong.
At first there is just pear - juicy and ripe, not very fresh but sweet. It also is quite sugary, exactly like pear preserves. This note gradually, but quickly (about 5 minutes), fades into the background (especially the sugariness)and I get cloves, which is weird since they're not listed. The clove scent morphs into mix of sandalwood and musk after about another 5 minutes with the comeback of pear. After that I did not smell pears exactly, but rather musk and general sweetness. This is what sticks for 5 to 6 hours and then the entire scent is mostly gone.

Not really unisex, because it smells sweet most of the time. The cool thing is that this would be really great if you had to run errands in the afternoon and then go straight to the party / dinner / night out. That's because the sweet pear smell fits great for day use and the spicy musky finish is at home in a night setting.
Reccomend for all those who open a jar of pears in syrup and think "I love this smell", and then don't mind the spices and musk.

Oh my.. What a beauty . I have been curious aboout this one for a long time , The pear has always intreged me , a juicy pear straight from the tree whats better then that .
This on starts of with that , The crispenes the juicynes the swettnes put me straight back to my childhood ,climbing the trees to get to the wonderfull fruits ,scratching my knees on the way but who cares , you bite that pear its all heaven :)
The vanilla is defenetly there makes it feals like a desert , then the Musk and lily of the valley makes it a bit more soapy refreshing almsot like a hint of Bijan nude , honey like fruity at one stage .( just a bit similer not the same )
there is a slight floral feal here aswell ,but i cant say its carnation i smell , more about the lily of the valleys soapynes . I totaly love it , nead this in my life . Nead it right now :)

freakypirate

Wild Pears opens very sweet and syrupy. I smell fresh pears but also lots of other fruit notes, and a poof of musk. The bergamot makes it slightly bitter. Then woody notes appear and a while later sweet vanilla notes. The pear becomes more sweet and fruity than fresh now. After this the scent changes a bit and becomes fresher again, with some light woody notes underneath and a sweet vanilla in the background. The bitterness of the bergamot disappears now. The drydown is a deep sweet fruit syrup with light vanilla and wood in the base, and poofs of white musk on top.

I do get decent sillage and performance, both are moderate on me.

Sweet, sweet, sweet. Smells like cherry winegum candy, which is wayyyyyy too sweet for my taste in perfume, but this should be very suitable for sweet gourmand lovers! It is a warm scent. The pears disappear quite quickly on me, I don't smell any after 15 minutes. I do smell candy, lots of it! Candy and musk.

SWEET CANDY PEARS
_______________________________________________________

I wanted to try some Montale fragrances today and was surprised to see that there is a fragrance called 'Wild Pears'.

I tried it instantly. Just like the name migt suggest, pears burst out of the bottle. But it's not pears, but candied pears. It's quite sweet.

And the sweet doesn't dry away. The pears fade away after a couple of hours, but the vanilla doesn't. It begins sweet and fruity but the dry down is only sweet.

Overall: quite interesting scent
Opinion: I love pears - 8/10.
Longetivity: - 6/10
Sillage: - 6/10

All in all: 6 out of 10 points.

Pears have a smooth scent, slightly sweet yet at the same time light. And Wild Pears captures that essence perfectly.
It opens with...Pears! Sweet and (at least to me) little boozy, perhaps because of the vanilla. The lime in the opening gives an uplifting kick to this fragrance.
even though it feels more like a feminine fragrance, the middle part with the sandalwood is more unisex.
Then the lily of the valley and musk take the whole thing to a powdery note, still with the pear as the main note.
I like it. Although I'm not sure if I can pull this one off, it definitely gives a more feminine vibe. It's a fragrance worth to try. Thumbs up for quality, it develops slowly so it doesn't go from the top notes to the bottom in 2 minutes, and because the scent matches the name!

Aptly named. The beginning is a very sweet, candy, almost but not quite juicy pear. Smells very jolly rancherish to me. Actually to go off on something else for a second smelling this, id really like montale to make a cherry, blueberry, or hell maybe even grape version of this. Wouldnt mind having a jollyrancher sorta smell of those. I feel it would have a little more novelty factor to make it more worth it myself. But I digress...

Anyway as it dries down it basically turns into a very dry musky pear. And loses its super sweet, candyness...

Smells well enough. Although besides the fact that personally I find it pretty feminine I just cant see myself ever wearing it. For what its worth in terms of some of the other montales its longevity and projection are not as beast mode as well and just alright on my skin.

So lovely. I really didn't expect it to be so lovely.
When talking about pears in perfumes nowadays they're often used in overly sweet compositions. One of them I own; J'aime nuit from La Perla.
This smells like a soft summer shower however. Even though you used strong smelling shampoo and body wash, they were of high quality ingredients and the soft summer breeze makes it smell al so natural. The pear is so lovely you want to eat it with your lungs. I can't help but inhaling it deeply.
Again: very very nice.

Oh that is so beautiful. The first blast just knocked my socks off! Unfortunately the intensity of the pear gets remarkably weaker after a half an hour. And with it dissapears the big part of the specialty. But I still want it. the first sniff is worth it all.
Longevity on me is around 9 hours.

Interestingly, overwhelming mixture of Pears Juicy and well Creamy Sandalwood. I am very good on the skin so it has a strong projection in 30min after application then softens. I dig that, yes sir!

I rank it like this:
Smell: 9.5/10
Projection: 7.5/10
Longevity: 7.5/10

Wild Pears has arrived and here's the verdict: This blind buy paid off! I really like the fragrance, it's fresh, fruity and perfect for summer. I am a man and I can let the other men (and women) out there know that this one is completely unisex. It's a luscious, juicy pear that is quite vibrant on application, the scent reminds me somewhat of a room spray my mother uses, it settles down into a fresh pear with an underlying of something sweet that could be caramel or brown sugar. I'll definitely be using this one through out summer.
I would have to add (as an edit) that this perfume is quite room spray-ish. Not a cheap and nasty dollar shop room spray but room spray all the same. I might have gained this one through a blind buy but I would suggest that others try first.

This smells like true candied pears.

My favorite fruit was the Packham pear when I was a little girl. My father always bought the ripest he could get because I love my Packhams soft, sweet and juicy.
When I first opened the box my decant came in, the smell of the ripest, juiciest Packham pear came wafting out of the box.
On the skin, the 'pearness' of it produced a slightly plastic smell. As it dries down in about 10 minutes, I'm getting a perfumey soap scent as well. Adding this to scentless lotion and then applying it to my skin takes away the plastic note and reduces some of the sweetness. The lotion also helps to stretch the longevity of the perfume from a meagre 2 hours to at least 4 hours. Sillage is about an arm's length for me.

Natural sweet pears in syrup, like a fruit cocktail or pear cordial, with white musk and hints of sweet vanilla. A very fruity, lightly musky and slightly floral scent; a great pick me up during summer.

Fruity goodness that lasts for hours!

Score 6.5/10

this is nice pear scent for summer. i like it a lot

Fizzy

The best real pear scent I met until now! Mmmm, yummy. The ripe pears last about one hour on my skin, after that comes powdery roses smell for a while, maybe for two hours and then it is all about musk, fresh and clean.

I wished, it would last longer on my skin than 4 hours. Good daily scent and good for winter.

The flacon is light like feathers and protects the juice from the sunshine, but with the star logo on it and the spray mechanisms reminds me more on a modern weapon (hand grenade) than a flacon. Even if the flacon is very practical, I don´t love it.

Mmmm this is such an interesting scent, agreed it's exactly what it is Pears. I just got this today the opening on me at first reminds me of a nice sweet wine (this is nice if you like sweeter scents) it's has just enough sweetness w/o being overly sweet. && as it dries down it smells kinda soapy just a really beautiful fruity soap. I will add that this is one of those scents you deff. have to try out first...How I described it smelling on me might not necessarily smell the same on you, for instance my manager loves how differently it smells on me, she says she doesn't like it on her skin b/c it just smells like a really sweet fruit salad. I also get a nice spiciness that makes me feel it's pretty suitable year round like how spiced pears on the holidays && I can also pick up the vanilla on the dry down. It really is a unique fragrance It has a nice && lively freshness to it && when I have it on I can't help but keep sniffing myself, && to think I almost overlooked this one. :)

This is exactly what it says it is and that's one of the things that I love about it.

The pear is sweet but not overly so with a lovely fresh feel.

Beautifully done but my only gripe is, I wish it lasted a little longer but I will certainly be buying myself a bottle for summer.

cacraine

To me this closely resembles Petit Cherie. It doesn't smell bad but it just smells like fresh pears to me...and nothing else. It only lasted about 2 hours on my skin so it's not worth the price to me.

wosic

This one feels like roasted pears on my skin. Mild, slightly smoky with hint of sweetness (like their own fruity sweetness is caramelized).

Four hours later is like expensive body lotion. The scent is noticeable without being insolent.
I can't detect anything artificial in Wild Pears. Love it.

Alalu

This is sweet pear compote.I feel like I eat it:)Compote full of musk with sweet pears and handful bergamot.
