I got this as a graduation gift from my cousin. It's
soft sweet powdery rose, brings back beautiful memories to me but I wouldn't wear it now.

Forest_being

So I had this as a teen and I was totally inlove with this scent. It's sweet and floral but a bit on the darker side. Not as fresh and jolly as most floral perfumes.
It's a bit too sweet and simple for mature people. Doesn't change alot over time and doesn't last long. In my opinion it's a great scent for a sophisticated teen, but not good enough for an adult who wants to make a statement.
The smell is pleasant overall. Also the complementary deodorant smells great. A bit more milky than the perfume.
And I do like the bottle.

nyrvelli

I love the violet in this! However, I wish it was stronger, it disappears almost immediately.

I have tried Volare EDT, but I can't seem to find it here, so I will add review under EDP (I hope correct one). At first it smells like perfume and hay. Later rose joins. Not exactly leather, rather suede. Slightly powdery. It's softer vintage scent. Fades very fast in maybe 15 minutes. Reminds me Lancome Tresor, only that one was sweeter, stronger and more rose.

Cherville

too sweet, too simple.

electric_evelyn

When I was in high school, I had a Volare body powder.
I really liked the scent.
Now I bought this Volare, it smells the same with a few differences: it’s the same scent until you spray it. Then it turns into some horrible synthetic concoction. Such disappointment… I couldn’t stand using it more than two times.

citra

Volare smells like a softer version of Lancome Tresor, the original formula from the 90's. Not as interesting as the original Tresor, but so much better than the new Tresor, so if you miss the old Tresor, give this fragrance a go.

I had it first when I was around 17,it was Xmas pressie and although I found it strong I took great pride in having such a 'grown-up' perfume.. Back then the bottle was more plain, but the scent very much identical to now. I swapped a bottle recently and I fancy the current bottle much more. As for the scent, on me it's the same as back then - rose, galbanum and leather.. The other notes either blend in well or are completely missing. It reminds me of Oscar de la Renta's Volupte, although that's heavier on mimosa, but somehow one always reminds me of the other.. Both are great choices and what's more, these are great to use all year round.

If you are wondering what you will get when you cross rose and violet, don't wonder any more - this is what you get. The perfume is simple, it doesn't change over time. It is a sweet rose-violet fragrance. I'd say very nice, a bit powdery, quite sweet. I really love it, one of my fav from Oriflame. The longevity is amazing, not much on my skin, but days on clothes. Also a very good value for your money. I love to wear it at home, evening out with friends or day out in the park. Definitely a spring fragrance, maybe early autumn. I love to wear it at the last cold winter days, it lifts my mood and makes me feel better. Definitely LOVE from me.

This was a blind buy. This smells exactly like a cheep peach shampoo or a shower gel. There are two notes that I smell most of all: peach and some bitter, cloggy, synthetic smell, which smells like chemicals in shampoo.
I don't get rose in here at all, nor pears, so if you are looking for a nice rose scent, look further, or at least try before you buy.
If you smell the bottle, perfume smells much nicer, but on a skin or clothes, it not so nice.

It doesn't last long. After two hours, you can smell it on clothes only if you bring it close to your nose.
It doesn't change much after some time, but it becomes even more headachy and nasty.
Worst buy ever!!!
Definitely won't buy again.

It is an elegant, classic, powdery rose scent. If you hate any of these adjectives, stay away from it, because all these characteristics are pretty prominent. I like it, but not enough to order a full bottle, I have better rose scents - one of my favorites being Gres: Lumiere Rose - rose with a licorice twist :)
The bottle is beautiful.

Eluy

Too powdery, every time i smell it, remains me on powder for after bath. No for me

Ophelia_rr

I might be the only person getting this, but all I can smell is leather. It might be a bad batch or something, since everyone else seems to be getting a green, romantic rose scent, but to me it feels straight up leathery.

I still wear it, but I find it strange that my nose picks that note up instead of all the others.

Forbiddenjade

Got a small 30ml as prezzie with a swap today.
This smells very much like Tresor of Lancome.

Powdery and very sweet, heady, long lasting. The first time I smelled it from the cap without spraying it on. I went out for shopping and I could still smell it, as it had gripped inside my nostrils!

That's how strong it is :)

I cannot detect much violet or green notes here, just powdery "something" - impossible for me to detect any single note listed here right now.
Will have to retry another day.

Overall it's pleasant, but for me it will likely remain a cozy scent to wear indoors. It smells of a scent everyone knows and yet can't recall the name of.
For the price it's worth the penny if one likes really powdery scents. This would be very enjoyable.

sarage

Delicate, romantic realistic rose, with hints of green notes. This became my comfort scent. Volare is clean, fresh and floral and I love to refresh myself after work with it.
It is much more delicate and fresh than Tresor, but has some similarity. (Tresor is too sweet and even cloying for my taste.)
The rose shape bottle is pretty.

I'm an oriflame consultant and I need to know how does it's perfumes smell so that I can help online costumers do safer blindbuys.I ordered an oriflame sample bag which is full of samples(about 60 perfume samples, dozen mini lipsticks and couple of skincare product or foundation samples)
I ordered volare edp before my tester bag's arrival.I own and like volare gold and volare forever and rose, praline and pear looks appealing to me so I ordered it without even a cataloge test
It's totally different with my imaginations.I can't detect any praline here.it's sweet but a bland sweetness.all I can smell is a peachy rose, not a natural rose,it's like a plastic rose, and something smelling like hair spray.volare edp smells chemical to me!
I've never tested lancome tresor but I highly doubt a popular classic can smell alike to this.sometimes I feel volare edp smells old and sometimes I feel it's very modern.hubby says that there's something in it smelling like a makeup bag but I'm not sure about it
I have a costumer which loves it.it's her signature perfume, she believes it smells refined, expensive, super feminine, charming and classy and says that she has received lots of complements.well,no one can win all.I can't get along well with violet leaf so maybe it ruins it for me.longevity and sillage are really good though and it has an adorable bottle.I will keep it just because it looks amazing near it's sisters.I wanted to use it as car spray but I think using up it's peachy liquid will reduce it's beauty so I may keep it as a decorative object.it was very cheap so I'm not too sad about this failure

I think the notes are jumbled. I have a February 2018 catalog and it says "peach, rose, lilac" for Volare EDP but oriflame website says "violet leaves, rose petals, peony, pralin". Also the smell from its tester has no hint of anything sweet; it is a sharp green rose with crushed weeds feeling.

Mirella86

This is very beautiful and very close co Lancome Tresor. Delicate, a little bit powdery and very long lasting on my skin. Also, very good price. If you can't afford the original Tresor, I would recommend this. Also, the bottle is very beautiful

advabart

I blind bought this for the bottle, hoping it wasn't just a pretty face. Oh, boy! Was I wrong!
It is horrible! Can't even be used as a room spray. It literally makes me sick.
How come such lovely notes create such a disgusting odour???

Miffy8900

Reminds me of my mother when I was a child - probably because she often wore Lancôme Trésor.

Even though it is reminiscent of Trésor, I do find this to be more fresh, young and a bit more grassy. The rose petals smells like they're rolled in praline - very nice. Often does the rose/chocolaty-combination become very sexy, dark, rich and seductive, but this stays fresh, very very feminine and girly. It also has a underlying bodylotion/suntan lotion kinda note, which makes it even more personal, intimate and almost vintage smelling.

It reminds me of carefree summers as a child with my mother - I really like it.

And the bottle is a story on its own - omg it is amazing! SO beautiful, pretty, girly. The gold stem, the peachy rose bud. LOVE it, and I think it suits the scent perfectly.

My favorite Oriflame fragrance - highly recommended.

annisa.a

Rose, green, violet. Really floral and mature for me. I can't smell its sweetness, sorry. But I think, Volare can be a good suggestion for anyone who love rosy floral scent.

dezaval

A very decent dupe of Lancome's "Tresor". Non-offensive and low-cost EDP. Lasts really long. I trace heliotrope here, as well. Warm and stylish. Yes, a pretty good choice. The best of all is the rose-shaped bottle. A jewel on my dressing table! So beautiful!!!

YogaRose

Powder fresh...sweet and sharp...I can see the similarity to Tresor, which I can do with or without. The bottle is beautiful though.

ichram

whoever vote this liquid long lasting n enormous is idiot

shwetadwivedi

I don't know if I received a fake but this fragrance to my nose is extremely cheap smelling, border lining awful. I don't quite remember the smell of tresor but I m a huge magnifique lover and this for some reason doesn't even smell close. I bought this off eBay so may be it is a fake or really old bottle and the juice has turned. I do love the bottle. It doesn't look as beautiful as it does in the adverts though. You might want to sniff before you buy

STARISH

It's very similar to Lancome's Tresor.
A very good alternative if you're looking for a cheaper fragrance with nice quality. I like Volare EDP a lot.

tanpa nama

Great dupe of Lancôme Magnifique which i really love! Not a blind buy, but get it free as a new Oriflame consultant. Beautiful bottle, but not sure about longetivity. I will recommend this to my customer if they look for floral, feminine and unique fragrance

silvia d

It s like the mild version of Tresor mixed with oscar de la renta s "volupte"

maelleinrome

I like it very much...but only because Tresor edp is one of my favourite frags! I can't smell important differences between them.

DiBonD

Better than the original Volare. It's less sharp than the original but softer and more comfortable to my nose. The smell of rose isn't as sharp as most rose scents, which I like.

nguyenvuhungvuong

Love at the first sign. OMG!!! It's such a beautiful bottle and scent !!!!

nesrnoz

I don't agree that it's mature. Too sweet to be a mature perfume. Being 27 and romantic , this suits me and my best friend very well. She introduced me to this lovely, warm, sweet fragrance. Not my signature but definitely takes the second place after Premier Jour by Nina Ricci.

djuzz.becuzz

One of the view fragrances from Oriflame which I am less enthousiastic about. Maybe it's the leather accord that is not working for me, but this one just doesn't suit me.
The bottle is pretty, they should have added a picture of the bottle laying on the side :)

pink and pink

My lovely perfume. This is best suitable scent for my personality. I am feeling "yes this made for me" when I wear it. I am a rose fan and this rose very intense. Sweet powdery vintage. Violets roses and pralines are together very romantic like an old love movie.

boutaïna

C'est un parfum gourmand sans être entêtant, je l'ai en ce moment et j'en suis satisfaite.

theflyer

This is a mature fragrance. On me this smells like the violet candy we used eat when we were kids, with a noticable leather backround and just a litte zing of pear.
After an hour or two it's much softer. It's sweet and warm, maybe from the pralines, and the roses become more apparent.
A very sophisticated perfume.

twillocks

That is so beautiful . . . . I agree I would buy for the bottle alone. Can't wait to smell.
