hmm, it's okay. Just as you'd expect, this is definitely a "once in a while for a little boost" perfume, rather than everyday wear. there is something creamy and you can notice the pear slightly, but apart from that I would say that this smells... almost tacky? you can tell there is something else there, but when I try to identify it I draw a complete blank. the missingno of perfumes! despite all this, i would recommend possibly layering it as it creates a fairly strong base for other, sweeter perfumes.

this perfume smells like generic grandma drugstore florals. i dont get any sweetness, vanilla, or fruit. i hated this perfume and will probably throw it away.

Bokato

It smells nice but it’s not special it’s a fluffy slightly sweet floral it’s really warm but tbh I expected it to be sweeter and more gourmand than it actually is but the floral woody notes are pretty strong, it’s a scent that you’ve smellt before many times it’s familiar and nostalgic and it’s a safe blind buy there’s nothing to hate but also nothing to really love about it it’s nice as an every day fragrance it’s nice for going to the store or going to school, wearing it at home but it’s not special or sophisticated to wear to a nice important occasions, the longevity is pretty good i wore it in college and it lasted till I went back home maybe 6 to 7 hours on clothes and on skin it lasted about 3 hours but the sillage is good for the first 2 hours after that you have to be close to smell it. I’d probably purchase this again it’s cute

Hmmm.. I'm unsure. I mostly get the vanilla and whipped cream, with something floral in there. And the pear - but not too strongly. Now I will say that to me this smells kinda cheap and perfumey. It doesn't smell like an expensive vanilla perfume at all, even though it is quite strong and moderately long lasting. Overall, it's ok but I wouldn't repurchase.

a happy summery perfume, that is perfect for sunny fall days too ,full of pear ,creamy smell and oh, that frangipani!!!! the red fruits are pretty obvious in the middle notes , overall this perfume is a beautiful blend of vanilla , musk, frangipani and pear .the musk scent is there but but not over the top. lasts for few hours (5 hours )on the skin.

vanillaorchid

This is a soft, musky jasmine scent with lots of pear. It is quite long-lasting, crowd-pleasing, versatile, and the 50ml bottle is gorgeous. I also own Maxima by this house, but I find the drydown on that one way more vanillary and sweet. I don't think it's a bad scent but at the end of the day I don't reach out for it, but I think if you really love pear you should give this a try.

This was an instant hate for me, not because it smells bad, but it smells just like the juicy couture ones which I hate, also smells similar to air by Ariana grande which I also hate.
If you don't mind those scents then you will love this

Seducianne

This one was quite a pleasant surprise for me. I get a blast of berries initially, which then quickly wraps in a blanket of vanilla / cream.
It’s really like a (slightly synthetic) forest fruit mousse, it’a warm and sweet. It also lasts considerably long (5-6 hours) on me.
All in all, it can be a decent budget perfume for those who love sweet frags.

I have this one and i find it such a nice perfume for cold time, it.s such a sweet fancy feminine perfume, i did have it few times before but i never enjoy it as i do it now, it is long lasting perfume, but sillage i think it gets weak after few hours but i really love it

A stronger Avon Secret Fantasy Wonderland, weaker Avon Attraction. If you have either of them, you don't need this. Or maybe if you like either or both of them, this could be your new favorite.

I couldn't even stand this perfume. Everyone around me found this scent pleasant so I guess I'm the odd one. Gave mine away to a friend. I can't figure out which note had bothered me exactly :( (I like sweet scents usually)

leothebackcat

It's a sweet perfume, but not too much. It might be familiar to Avon Attraction and I would say for some kind of reason it reminds me of Playboy VIP, but when I spray both of them on my wrists I realize how much better Eve Confidence is. In my opinion Eve Confidence doesn't have a strong sillage, but in some cases it's propably better because in that way it's not bothering the other people around. On my skin lasts about 4-5 hours which is not so bad. Over all I love this fragrance and I think it's perfect for women at any age.

A warm and wonderful winter scent, good for all occasions. Since Eve Confidence is actual EDP strength, and lasts 6 hours with one spray.
Over time the frangipani note became more forward and rounds this out into a nearly tropical floral with a warm ambery vanilla base. Lasts forever on a winter scarf, which is the time of year i like to wear this cosy warm golden scent.

SailorV

Whoa, this is really sweet. I expected something smooth and creamy, but Eve Confidence is so bright, sugary and high-pitched that it borders on screechy. I agree that it has some similarities to Attraction, but Attraction is a little darker and not quite as sweet. Both also took heavy inspiration from the Viva La Juicy line.
This is like some candy made of vanilla, whipped cream, red berries and pear with extra sugar cubes and an unpleasant articial aftertaste. And this is coming from someone who loves sweet scents.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but to me this is a below average scent, not terrible, but not good either. Or maybe it just doesn't work on me.

Something very strange has happened since my July review last year.
I did purchase a 100ml EDP this year and I recently used it, spraying my neck, wrists and inner elbows. Beforehand I'd showered, applied Dove deodorant, dried my hair etc etc.
I did noticed a whiff of something but started working on my laptop.
My daughter went past the room as said she could smell B.O! I smelt my wrists and smelt grapefruit!! It always reacts on me to smell of B.O. Wierd.
Has the formulation changed since last year?
Grapefruit is not listed as a note.
Years ago I became aware that my skin reacts to grapefruit when wearing Guerlains Aqua Allegoria Pamplemousse. Rank!Pure B.O in a bottle. An expensive error, but a gorgeous bottle.
Guerlains notes are "freshly squeezed grapefruit, lemon and bergamot juice, whose aroma then is melting in patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla mix. (Fragrantica)
The Body Shops Pink Grapefruit range is the same.
When spraying a new perfume I always spray a few times away from me to get rid of anything lurking in the spray tube and nozzle (probably why my daughter could smell it in the hallway).
Has anyone else notice their Confidence EDP change,?

Avon Attraction Sensation For Her smells like a slightly spicier version of Yves St Laurent Black Opium.

Avon Eve Confidence is a better dupe for YSL Black Opium, though, and longer lasting than Sensation. I smelled Confidence on my wrist and YSL on my friend's wrist and we couldn't tell any difference. She will be buying A.E.Confidence from now on, rather than YSL. For me it is an evening out scent.

Avon Maxima for her is like a milder version of Eve Confidence, more fluff less smoke. I really love it. A good every day winter scent, comforting, soft and womanly.

Avon Scent Essence Velvet Amber is like Eve Confidence minus any smoke, just the lovely amber notes.

So for me these are all related, like flankers of one another, with Attraction being the strongest scent profile, then Eve Confidence, then Maxima, then Amber as the softest. All wonderful scents and for the price all worth buying if you like these notes

bel.gravia

Oh yes just what I expected. Warm, solar, creamy, sweet, calming. A little like a body cream or a sun product. Like a whipped cream too. Smells like holidays and beautiful things in life. Bright, cheerful, happy. Reminds me of This is Her by Zadig and Voltaire.

Malibu

I can't separate all of the fruity notes used; they're all mingled together very closely. If I had to guess, I'd suggest that there is raspberry and/or strawberry underneath the watery pear and milky cream notes. There are also just enough fresh & juicy currant-type scent notes present to stop the sweeter fruits from becoming too overbearing.

The listed jasmine and frangipani are by far the strongest floral notes on me, and I'd also guess that there is some combination of clean and powdery florals such as neroli, lotus and/or heliotrope too. Sometimes I can pick up on the airy musk note, but other times the note is too quiet and is hidden by the florals. The shift into the base is subtle; a vanilla-infused sandalwood note develops after 3-4 hours, and mingles with the lingering cream-dipped fruity notes as the perfume gradually dries down.

Overall; the light, airy scent is perfect for the warmer weather, although I’ll wear mine all year round. Eve Confidence is a lovely daytime fragrance, that’s only let down by its poor staying power [a common theme with Avon perfumes]. However as the price is so low, I don't mind having to reapply it every five hours or so. Eve Confidence isn't very original, but it's neither 'young' or 'old', and is non-cloying, so it is a easy to wear and is a fantastic buy for those who enjoy quieter, more feminine perfumes

csillagrubin

I like this feminine fragrance. On me, the first 5 minutes... sparkling fruity sensation. I wish it would last much longer! Then comes the whipped cream with frangipani and vanilla. It's quite good, but far from perfect. Longevity and sillage are ok.

MoonGirl

Warm, fruity, white floral with sherbet and cream. Easy to wear daytime fragrance with its own elegance.

I also have the original Avon Attraction and see no resemblance to it whatsoever aside from a slight tangy side note.

bashe

Wow my body chemistry is either not cooperating or this is a tatal fail. Very soapy, sickening drydown makes me wanna gag sadly...yet the sample seemed lovely. But nope. I am staying true to the Eve Truth only.

MediaevalWench66

When I sprayed this perfume for the first time, I immediately thought this scent was in the Today/Attraction/Premiere Luxe vibe. I doused myself in the morning and pottered about doing household things. It was a hot day (rare in the UK) and I had fans working in every room. When I finally sat down, I could smell a gorgeous white floral scent then realised it was me. I sniffed my tshirt - wow! The drydown of this scent is gorgeous. I reordered the 100ml bottle straight away and also bought the body cream. I didnt have to respray the scent in the evening as the drydown was so lovely.

LadyPilot

This perfume smells rather generic and not too elaborate on me, however it is pretty versatile and from the comments below I conclude that it reminds our friends of quite a few popular scents. To me it seems pretty similar to Far Away Rebel. So maybe that's the beauty of it? To be inexpensive, smelling sweet and generally familiar...? :)

katia31

Very much similar to Viva la juicy perfumes.

sijenbarrett

Reminiscent of Paris Hilton Siren.....Eve Confidence seems more smooth...chilled in comparison say and not as 'Sirenesque'....actually...could be more like Siren mixed with Cool Water Sensual Essence (which I adore and is harder to get hold of these days)...I have both siren and sensual essence..I will buy this to replace my waining bottle of sensual essence

Patricia888

I can indeed sense the similarities in character with the Avon Attraction - same cup of tea. And Avon Attraction is one of my favorite perfumes by Avon along with Luck. I will update the review once I`ve tried to test them side by side out of curiosity.
This is very gourmand for me, I sense the notes all wrapped in whipped cream, it`s not cloying, very comforting. I can imagine how this perfume will work best in the cold winter days but even on this warm summer day I`m rocking it:).

BettyNoir

This is fairly generic Avon fragrance, with jasmine, vanilla and pear. It's pretty sweet and one for the youngsters, I reckon, unless you like your scents sweet and creamy. Pretty bottle though, and good value.
