Whoever claims that is smells like Gucci's ENVY must have a cold or a blocked nose. It's a horrible, artificial fragrance that gave me a headache. Don't buy it, don't wear it. Smells like a dead grandma who committed a suicide after after havin a floral bath in which she's soaked her fox fur. BLAH!

At £11 for 50ml on Avon's UK website, this is the most generous gift from the master of white flowers Maurice Roucel and personally, I am very grateful for it. This is a beautiful, clean and elegant scent. A bit cold and distant, but also fresh and quirky at the same time, it reminds me of the legendary Rive Gauche, with which it shares quite a few notes. Actually, you wouldn't be wrong if you thought of it as the stripped-down white flower-dominant, updated version of Rive Gauche, with longevity and presence to boot. My husband is equally impressed and adamant he'd be wearing it himself.

As I was trying the New Artistique line, this came up and I was curious. Avon had let me down before so I didn’t had higher hopes for this one (this line either). I wasn’t sure about how magnolia smells, so now I know. Never have I ever liked a perfume like this one for the hot days and even for spring (mostly for spring). So,long story short, now I own two bottles and half of that 10 ml that I bought initialy.
I highly recommend it!

It's not for your skin, but good for the house;) yes, it's like an air refreshing spray, and it works very well in this role. Tried to use it on me a few times, but it's not for me, maybe some women can like it. Also it reminds me of some 90s disco.

Christ almighty, whoever says it's a women's frag you're just selfish (that's true for so many women's frag), because I had that kind of Jasmine in all mine men's frag, especially with that musk-santal combo, it really brings up so many of my early favorites, yes maybe beacuse it reacts well on my skin, that I detect it as a unisex fragrance, but that's the beauty of parfumerie and especially the Artistique line, they want to break out finally, and let all the people live in their fantasies, but enough of my ramblings, what's bad in the marketing side of scents! Like I said, it's a heavier side of green floral combo, I can even imagine, you can bring this to dates, it's so good! Maurice had some really great scents, and I'm happy this is one of them. Really thinking of that it shares some DNA with Alien, please let me know!

The aromat does not change, it is quite monotone (sharp magnolia), I would recomment for a warm or humid weather. Sorry avon fans, I like avon cosmetics, but whatever I try from perfumes, lack something. If you want non expensive, non - annoying, light and not sweet everyday magnolia - buy Fragonard latest edition called Magnolia.

Update: the first scent ever that managed to annoy me to the extent that I threw it away, but it might have gone bad in a year....

A very wet, earthy interpretation of magnolia, or white florals. It suits elegant, equilibrated, classical styles, I would not specifically say aged 30 plus, but it certainly requires a level of maturity to wear it well. It lacks the annoying "Avon drydown" I noticed in several other Avon scents and what made me avoid them for a long time. But Maurice Roucel made me buy a 10 ml of this juice, and although it is not my style, so I will never own a full bottle of this, I very much enjoy wearing it now and then in this wet, somewhat gloomy spring we are having now here where I live. And I salute the idea to offer good quality scents for a lower budget, well done, Avon. Excellent longevity, it can easily be oversprayed.

It feels like a walk through a forest from a bygone era! In which flowers and insects are huge and pterosaurs hover over the giant trees! You can feel that it just stopped raining and as I make my way through the landscape, I see a ray of sunlight drawing me in. I reach a clearing, and what are the weary eyes peeking? Quite right, an English country house, like the one described in Kate Morton’s book "The Lake House“ ...next to the house grows a tree, its size towers over that of the house and the large pink flowers lean on the roof, like children to their mothers. With my eyes closed, I take a deep breath in, mmhhh aahhh... the fragrance is green, fresh, crisp, and yet it is quite clear that it is a flower that sets the tone here. Just as I want to pick up my backpack and explore the house, I feel a furry creature on my leg! I open my eyes, oh it’s my cat, and it wants food - probably - and I, I am at home “Magnolia en Fleurs” in my hand and it has been decided, that’s the perfect scent for a picnic in the park! So I feed the cat, spray me into a cloud of the crisp fragrance, grab my backpack and head off to have a good time...😊

I had expectations for this one, but turns out it is an epic scrubber AND a toilet freshener. Incredible longevity though - sigh. Sorry, but the reality is that this number smells super cheap and synthetic - were the ingredients top ones, it would have been a masterpiece. Should have known better.

On another note, this has NOTHING to do with Envy of Gucci - I used it for a decade, it was my signature, and the two couldn't be further away from one another.

Maurice Roucel is my favourite perfumer so I could not wait to try this, and it is wonderful! I don’t actually have a full bottle size of a fresh floral type fragrance. This will now be my go to for that mood. This feels so pure, fresh, and softly green. It is slightly sweet but only in the way that freshly picked flowers give off a whisper of tender sweetness. It is comforting and calming, I am just an instant fan. This is the antidote to 2020. Oh and the quality is excellent, longevity is perfect, like everything else about this one.

A deeper, stronger version of Avon LBD Eau Fraiche. A richer, fuller scent. Lovely magnolia and green notes as though a morning spring shower has been followed by an unusually hot afternoon.

I already blind bought Iris Fetiche from this Avon Artistique-line and love it. I ordered a travel size spray of Magnolia en Fleurs..just in case it's not my thing. But I read the reviews and was curious.
I could have ordered a full bottle of this scent! The bottle is beautiful and the scent is just my kind of floral.
I must admit, I wasn't sure how magnolia smells, I confused it with gardenia sometimes. Gardenia can be suffocating when strong and dominant - magnolia is delicate. Now I remember that I have had magnolia scents before (Yves Rocher!) and they smelled just like this. Now I know magnolia:
So pure, fresh, feminine. Perfect for spring and summer and for daytime use at home or at work.
This is something I want to spray right after taking a shower or sauna.
Next time I will get the full bottle - you never know if they discontinue this line.

Together with Iris Fetiche, Magnolia en Fleurs make a nice pair of the the two type of fragrances I love most: Soft, cuddly and gourmand and fresh, feminine florals.
If you love magnolias, try this one. It's elegant and beautiful.

It is quite nice, certainly more interesting than Patchouli Indulgence from these "Artistique" series. Refreshing, non-sweet, crisp, like a cold shower and citrus deo on the top. Great for people who work in a hospital environment, such scent will definitely be approved by the patients, who can not tolerate strong sweet scents while being unwell. I can see myself reaching for it pretty often in these last hot summer weeks.

MsJitka

I love it. Magnolia en Fleurs really stands out, at least from the "average Avon perfume" line, it is not supersweet, or faint, or ordinary... I normally avoid scents that are too green, but this one with its combination of magnolia and bergamot is soooo yummy and sophisticated at the same time! I wish it would last longer, but it still has far greater longevity than its "sister" Patchouli Indulgence. I carry the smaller version with me to reapply once during the day.

As soon as I saw Maurice Roucel’s name, I knew I would love this perfume. I ordered a pack of 5 samples and I think I’m gonna bathe myself in them today until the full version arrives. This is just incredibly beautiful. Just simply gorgeous. So crisp, floral, green... Smells like nature, mountaintops, fresh green forests... Beautiful beautiful beautiful. Never would have thought this was an Avon perfume if I didn’t know it was. They really hit a nail on the head with this one.

dormir6

Really reminds me of Envy, without the fresh, ozonic, Watery accord.

Patricia888

This is my least favorite from the three Avon Artistique line but not because the perfume is bad but because fresh and cold perfumes are my least favorites. It is still a very good quality one and lasts long as the other two from this line.

bel.gravia

Magnolia En Fleurs is really really really good.
It is truly difficult to talk about it that's how beautiful it is. A floral magnolia based, bergamont infused beauty with old good oakmoss. Green, crisp, floral, natural like, smells of forests, valleys and mountain tops. This is superb, and unique!
I want a couple hundred bottles :D I know it's a new line but I swear if Avon discontinued it, I am going to stock up in it like I am immortal!
Update: so I did actually purchased 3 bottles of this beauty and I can see it becoming my new most used love. Has a really good longevity on skin, 5 hours have passed and its still smelling strong. I can finally sense of pink pepper in there too, with the wonderful wonderful oakmoss. A million dollars perfume.

Never knew I need this in my life until I tried it. This is so absolutely beautiful that I can't praise enough

Gucci Envy

diva_100

This is the best magnolia-bergamot combo. It's a spring-summer scent. When it dries down you can notice the sexy sandalwood mixed in with the fresh scent. This perfume is thick, it projects far and lasts forever. It smells expensive and beautiful.

BettyNoir

Maurice Roucel made one of my favourite ever fragrances when he made Gucci Envy. Imagine my joy when I found similarities between Magnolia en Fleurs and Envy. They're not identical, but both have that stalk, stems and all greenness that I love. Great value and a wonderful green summer scent with good longevity.
