I sprayed the body spray of this at the store on my jacket and I cant stop sniffing myself. This SHOOK me. Beautiful gourmand fragrance that got me so curious about the edp so it brought me here. Ill run and get the spray tomorrow in case I never come across the edp. It is beautiful, yummy, sweet and delicious!! My kind of scent.

GoldIris

Synthetic, screechy sweet smelling mess.

Veronika95

Well I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is not dupe for LNT. I have both, and it's not the same, and I'd even go as far as saying there not similar either. It's a nice scent tho, no argument there.

ChrisAd

Well, well, well. Another unisex sweet frag. But...
But this one is neither in your face, nor cloying.
It's a strawberry base symphony of delicate/reasonable sweetness with some chocolate and coffee.
On my skin 2 sprays on the wrist and I'm covered for a day.

Quite versatile but I wouldn't wear it for formal occasions.

Very good performance of a very well blend at a very good price.

Kairavu

Take this one at the face value. Not as a clone of something else. It is closer to La Vie Est Belle / Eclat - if one wants to put it that way. Fruity blast with some Chocolate and Vanilla and a Patchouli base. Rather unique in its composition , analogous to Black Phantom from Kilian. The perfumes are not similar , it's the discordance of notes I want to compare to. Some screechy thing occasionally comes up which rather adds to the experience.
Powerful but not overpowering. I see no sharp edges here, like - at all. Sillage is moderate to strong and it lasts , really. One of the perfumes I can be sure of, you know what I mean. With Armaf fragrances one need not spend a fortune and they are more attuned to the hot climate of India . With or without air-conditioning, even with the clement weather of Bangalore . I prefer my oriental ones and feel happy about it.

ShoGirl

This is utterly artificial and a total scrubber - I blind bought after the reviews here and, unfortunately, despite having worn it a whole day yesterday, the original nasty chemical "hit" just dried down to a lingering sickly artificial scent on my skin and did not ever become anything other than a bit unpleasant. Such a shame, because I thought this sounded wonderful from the notes + that magnetic bottle is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENALLY COOL..... I was so excited to get spraying this stuff because of it, and I've never been so disappointed ever in a frag up till now. I'd say, learn from my error and don't blind buy.... maybe it's a skin chemistry thing but I really don't recommend this, sadly :(

I've never smelled La Nuit Tresor, so I'm looking at Armaf Signature True standing on its own. This was a blind buy - I read the good reviews and the coffee note interested me. Upon the first spray, I got alcohol. Oh no, I thought, but it disappeared quickly as pear and lotsa strawberry took its place. I didn't get any of the citrus. Then the very sweet caramel and praline with some patchouli came in, but they seemed really well-blended because one doesn't stand out from another. They make a good support for the strawberry. I really wanted some coffee in this but I get none. I have a few coffee gourmands that I will layer it with and see what happens. I like the magnetic bottle and pull-out box, just for something a little different. Longevity and sillage are both moderate for me. I like this, not a love, and I'll wear it when it's cool outside just to remind me of how hot it can be when we pick strawberries in June.

Update: The more I wear this, the more I love it. After a couple of times wearing this, the coffee did finally show up and has made this a more interesting perfume.

Mirella86

For those hoping to get La Nuit Tresor dupe, this is not it. La Nuit Tresor is better blended and smoother, this one is sharp and has a masculine vibe to it. I would recommend getting the real things, in this case. Although I noticed Armaf is quite good in cloning fragrances, this one is not a good clone.

Madyana

I understand the comparison to La Nuit Tresor, but in this I smell strawberry almost nauseous in the opening and the scent itself is somehow like a poorly blended compound of excessive sweetness, sparkling wine and heavy masculinity aʼ la bergamot. I didn’t get into the deal with this, my daughter has La Nuit Tresor and that is a Goddess! Sorry.

Jasmindee

*Looks at all the other glowing reviews and pines...*

I am going to be the minority here and say that this is one of my worst blind buys so far. I guess skin chemistry is a strange thing, eh?

This has all my favorite notes. Strawberry, caramel, vanilla? Sounds like my dream perfume. The reality is... A bit different. I've not smelled La Nuit Tresor for a hot minute, but I have had the A La Folie version which was lovely and sexy. This one? Not so much...

I'm really taken aback by how spicy and strong this is. It leans completely masculine for me, and not in a "I'm a cool business woman in a suit" kind of way. It just stinks. Very strong, herbal scent with hints of patchouli.

I am beyond disappointed. Maybe I got a dud bottle? I keep testing this and hoping for something dreamy and delicious but it smells soooo strong and manly! It's like my boyfriend sprayed one of his colognes and then I spilled red wine on him. That's how I'd describe Signature True.

I can't say I enjoy the huge, clunky bottle either, it feels nice, but it's absolutely ginormous. Sigh... I wish this one worked for me, but it doesn't. I threw my wrist in front of my boyfriend and he looked genuinely repulsed lol... I guess that says it all.

I have a 100ml bottle (with the box!) if anyone is interested in buying it or swapping.

EDIT: Sold my bottle. Also I own LNT now and this perfume smells NOTHING like it.

Wiktoriaaaz

Definitely disagree with person below. This is SO similar to LNT, and I was a bit scared because I find LNT childish and too sickly sweet. But this! This is it but little less sweet and cloying! Amazing, it smells much more expensive that it was, £20 for 100ml!! It had great presentation upon arrival and sprayed is really nice. The bottle itself look super tacky in my personal opinion but it is of good quality and heavy. Sprayed this on my arm just now and I can smell it typing this so I reckon spillage is quite good, can’t say about longevity quite yet! Love this though

Veronika95

Seriously guys, how is this dupe for LNT? I don’t smell anything similar or special or attention grabbing here. It’s that kind of a scent, that you forget how it smelled, immediately after stop sniffing it. This was a huge disappointment. Maybe if I didn’t have the original LNT, I would cut it some slack, maybe, but probably not. In my honest opinion, this is a very useless perfume, I’m sorry if you like it.

Two months later... I really tried to give it a chance. But I stand by my review. It’s not similar to LNT to consider them dupes, or even somehow related. And it’s definitely not a memorable fragrance. La Nuit Tresor is sexy, warm sticky sweet and it gives me chills after it warms up and I love it. Maybe mine Armaf is just old and gone bad? It’s possible, because otherwise I don’t understand how everyone else can see the resemblance and I don’t. I’m usually very good in blind buying.

shashank.malhotra

I haven't tried La Nuit Tresor, but I own and love Montale Oudmazing; this perfume reminds me of it.

Magnoliajo

It's crazy how similar this is to La Nuit Tresor considering the price difference! This is slightly darker than LNT whilst LNT is a bit more fruity but they are essentially the same. It doesn't project as much as LNT but for the price you can respray often. I will say i'm not a fan of the bottle, it's very cheap looking and feels it too. LNT's bottle is much prettier

It was in a lock down period in my country and everyone was required to wear a mask when they step out of their homes. I'm one of the 'fortunate' essential workers who still goes to work. After weeks of not being able to smell any perfume scent through our masks and social distancing, I fell in to a state of depression until enlightenment came to me.
I decided its a good time to wear all my ultra strong perfume that would be too outrageously strong to wear liberally in public at normal times.

This was one of it! After dousing in it in the morning, People can smell me 2 metres away and I scent up rooms like a good air freshener, drowning out all the viruses in all public and private areas. I've gotten compliments that my entire area smells so good; even with surgical masks on. There, a beautiful strong scent and it packs a punch, try it.

876Beauty

I must admit the opening isn't very pleasant, I get a fake strawberry plastic-like smell however, the dry down smells like strawberry covered in chocolates.Very sweet and is more suitable for the colder seasons. I live in a tropical country so I only use a light hand and wear it on cooler nights only. I much prefer Elizabeth Arden's Always Red and Armaf La Rosa for my chocolate fix but this is nice nonetheless.

elledeelee

I don't have particularly good feelings about this one. I thought it would be a fantastic sexy, night-time going out scent, but I barely ever reach for it. I find there's a sourness to it that puts me on edge. At first there's a blast of alcohol and bergamot. Then a definite hint of La Nuit Tresor but with stronger patchouli and overbearing strawberries. I would put this in the same category as Katy Perry's Killer Queen. It is bergamot and tooth-achingly sweet vanilla, but this time with fruits. It is wearable but it can get a bit sickly, and somehow I doubt I will make it all the way through my bottle.

babyrose1985

I bought this to see how it compares to La nuit tresor edp because of the great reviews as La nuit is just beautiful and one of only a few that ive fallen inlove with. To me la nuit is worth every penny but my budget also isn't huge so I wanted to see how this would compare for daily wear.

Ok, so - On first spray I didn't like it, it smelt similar to the first spray of la nuit but a tad older smelling, but it then transforms and smells gorgeous, this most definately as others have said smells very similar to la nuit, very very close, but for me it cannot compare to La nuit, not even close, it took me a while to come to this conclusion, I tried both side by side over and over and in the end i just hands down prefer la nuit no question, La nuit is just absolute perfection to me, the way it unfolds on my skin just works for me, I am fussy with gourmands though, and the way it unfolds and smells on others might not be the same as it does for me, I can't wear gourmands usually but La nuit managed to smash it, although the differences between the two are very slight this just hasnt got the complexity that La nuit has, basically La nuit is the only gourmand I can wear because it's the only one I've found that doesn't end up smelling stuffy on me, I prefer fresher scents and to feel fresh and all other gourmands that I've tried just make me feel a tad grotty and La nuit doesn't do that, I think the fruits come through more in la nuit than with this one which gives it a fresher edge and the patchouli is more prominent in this one on my skin, however...This one is gorgeous in its own right and I'm still considering getting it for that reason, for the price this is an absolute gem, it smells far more expensive than it is being sold for and it is a winner, it just doesn't compare to La nuit, for me anyway X

octobertragedy

Very, very close to Lancome Tresor la Nuit. You get a nice melange of praline, caramel, coffee, patchouli with raspberry galore. I own both ARMAF and Lancome, funny think is that is prefer the ARMAF. The reason is that ARMAF is lighter, fruitier, a little bit crispy, easier to wear. I can use it even in worm summer nights due to the crispy, bubbly raspberry.
This is a fragrance that brought me sooo many compliments, especially from my husband who has no idea of notes or perfumes. The first time I sprayed it he said that he would take a bath in this perfume..lol...
The bottle is weird imo, but hey, this time the content is much more relevant...
I safe bind buy if you like Lancome Tresor la Nuit.
Longevity: around 6 hours. Silage moderate, in this case that is a plus for me.

VALRYCKE

I'm male. I enjoy this fragrance alot. Yes, hell LOTSSSSSS. I can't stop smeeling it, i even use this as my room air freshener
It is that good. Far far better than Tresor La Nuit.

Perfect.
Fruits fruits and more fruits.

Sherine777

This is one Excellent dupe!
It does smell like La Nuit Tresor and I only have the body mist, it performs like an EDT. I'll see if I can find the EDP.
Lancome makes Artisan quality but nevertheless this is very good in comparison.

LadyLynZ

This fragrance is an absolute winner! Blind buy, and I couldn’t be more happy with it. It does remind me of La Nuit Trésor but I don’t know if I would say it is an exact dupe on me. Everyone’s body chemistry is a little different, and for me this pulls heavy on the patchouli note, and less on the sweet caramel, prailine and vanilla. I love it regardless, such a complex scent that evolves well with the dry down. Longevity is great, and the price is just unbelievable. It’s easily taken place in my top go to’s for the evening.

abundantday

I just received this as a blind buy, because of great reviews. It's strong and very likable. I think it smells more expensive than it was. I love the bottle also. It's heavy and special. But I don't detect much but patchouli. No praline, no caramel. I tested it on a cotton ball. After drying it's strong and attractive but just a strong scent. I'm disappointed in that respect but it is potent and for the money I'm not unhappy. Perhaps it would be better layered with someone sweeter.

abundantday

I just became aware of this fragrance. The notes sound amazing. I just ordered this and can hardly wait to get it. I really appreciate the great reviews here, that prompted me to give it a try.

Venusta

Yum yum yum! Definitely related to La Nuit, I'd say 85-90% similar. Specifically this smells like the dry down of La Nuit. Does not smell like 20 bucks at all! I would happily give more for this youthful, juicy, sweet, long lasting (6+ hrs) juice.

For me the difference is that La Nuit smells richer- there's definitely more going on, but not enough to fork over 90 dollars on!

The strawberry, vanilla, and praline are prominent. Truly smells like an amazing sweet treat!

kohlie

This is sweet, youthful, sexy, and long lasting. This opens with a bright burst of strawberry candy and dries down to a caramely fruit-speckled milk chocolate with a hint of coffee.

This is a love from me for romantic evenings, but too candy-like for daily wear by me.

If you like Tresor La Nuit, you will like this. This is good quality for the price.

If TLN is a little intense for you but you're still shopping for something in the same neighborhood, consider trying Diane von Furstenberg's Love Diane. It's in a similar vein because there is a lot of sugary-sweetness and praline, but has a dominant clean and tart berry note. Again, another very youthful scent.

HelloIvy

I didn't like lancome la nuit tresor, however based of reviews and price, i bought signature true by armaf, and it's yummy. The best blind buy I've done.

Decodawn

Hello from Deco Dawn. I ordered this after reading the various reviews. Absolutely 100% copy of Lancome Tresor La Nuit. Amazing value for money. Comes in a quality box with inner slide out box. Bottle is as pictured but heavy & quality and luxurious with a magnetic lid. Fragrance is sweet, chocolate, caramel, patch, vanilla and very contemporary and perfect for the 16 - 60 market. I am so surprised. Smells identical. Silage and staying power very good. Its a YES from me. Also the Club de nuit smells identical to Chanel Coco Mad. Check out this house products.

Moyogi

Similar to Tresor La Nuit, that is true. But it's better blended and not so annoyingly sweet. Drydown is very nice and warm, strawberry juicy chocolates with coffee. Feminine. Good value/price.

Taishi92

New favorite! This was a blind buy because I liked the notes and I wanted to test the brand. Let me say, I am impressed and will be purchasing more from Armaf. What a great buy. This scared me at first because I didn't know how the strawberry was going to play out but this perfume its so well blended that at least I can't pinpoint the strawberry alone. Its sweet, its rich, in just the right balance and if the first spritz its good just wait ten minutes, that dry down... Its amazing. I love it cause it smells way more expensive than it is and it has a slight seriousness to it, almost masculine, I couldn't tell what note made it smell even better and now I know, its the coffee!

SweetLadyForOne

I can't compare this to La Nuit Tresor, because I've never knowingly smelled it. But this does smell really really good!

Alces Alces

EDIT: Yesterday (11/19) I sampled La Nuit Tresor during a Lancome gift shopping expedition. When I sprayed LNT, I kept thinking how familiar it was, how much like something I already had...It wasn't until I arrived home and tried my sample again that I realized how similar these are. Copies are never exact, so I can't claim they are identical, but they are extremely similar. Love them both, but will not buy the Lancome since I already have this one. During the same shopping adventure I discovered MAGIE NOIRE again, which will end up being my Lancome splurge this time around if I do splurge, but that's off topic. Good job on this dupe, Armaf.

ORIGINAL POST: Armaf is such a fun line of perfumes. For one, the bottles always offer something interesting, off the beaten track. Kitschy bling, no effort at subdued tastefulness, but oddly well made. Armaf bottles are crafted so that caps stay on and sprayers work; boxes are quality as well. Signature True comes in a sliding drawer presentation box. There's a thoughtfully placed hole in the back of the box so you can push the bottle from behind and ease it from the precision-fitted little drawer. Nicely done.

The bottle looks better in person than in the pictures, dark and contoured with a MAGNETIC cap, always a plus. The Armaf esthetic involves blinged out bottles and random English or French or Turkish names...thus Signature True.

The fragrance begins with loads of strawberry and patchouli notes. It's a fantastic pairing, sweet and delightful. The vanilla does not overwhelm this. Normally vanilla is an iffy note for me because too much overwhelms me, but this I like! There are no dark woody notes to sour this, thank goodness.

Longevity is good for an Armaf. You get about four hours of moderate to light sillage, plenty because it is a strong fruitchouli. Unique? No, I have smelled something similar before, lots of things similar, but still very pretty and wearable. Gorgeous actually. Not a classic or a pretentious snob scent. Just delightful to wear and a real mood lifter.

This DOES have a festive party feel to it, maybe from being so happy smelling. Strawberry dominates, and I love that. No noticeable citrus to sour the strawberry or make it funky, despite the notes listed. Surprisingly, there is a detectable coffee note...did not expect it at this price.

Overall super wearable and a great deal for the price.

Coffee_Girl

I own both LNT and this one, sprayed both on each arm and wow they can be twins. I think Nuit Tresor is a tad bit more chocolatey but not by much. Armaf lasts VERY long, sprayed 2 on my skin before bed and it is still there by lunch the next day.

Frankly I will probably ditch LNT and stick wirth armaf as i love the stronger fruit notes.

evatgirl73.1

Bought this and another Armaf fragrance with a GC, hoping for the good reviews to be accurate but expecting to be disappointed or meh because of other remarks about the brand....
I am pretty impressed. I adore La Nuit Tresor and was really hoping this would be a less pricey alternative to use more frequently, and it is totally that! It isn’t exact, but quite close and I am very happy with it. Longevity is similar to LNT and on my fragrance eating skin that says a lot.
Both this and the other Armaf fragrance I bought did have favorable reviews, and I’m glad I took the chance. I have other “dupes” that I haven’t been happy with and won’t use other than as room sprays, but honestly these two I got I will happily recommend to anyone.
All that said, I honestly couldn’t imagine this on a man. It is very sweet, sensual and cozy but very very sweet.

msajoy

i smelled it today and man its so beautiful.its sweet and smells like tresor nuit lancome n has lil tom ford darkness with loads of caramel sweetness.you cant get a better fragrance at this price range.i own the night version which is bvlgari mib clone, that and this both are amazing fragrances :)
9/10, highly recommended

sandifitzg

Swoon...I LOVE this! Vanilla, caramel and litchi with some patchouli blended perfectly into an exotic and ethereal night garden. The musky addition of patchouli turns the fruity/florals into something deep and sensuous. Very sexy.
The bottle is heavy, and very chic.

LisIrishFleur

I absolutely love this 'fume. To be honest it was an impulse buy. An online, impulse, blind buy. Honestly, If I had read the notes as I was purchasing it, I wouldn't have. I bought it earlier this year. I mostly wore it from end of winter into late spring. This type of scent is not typically something I gravitate to. But, HOLY SMOKES! It's really f***in good! When I wear it, I'm like an addict. I just can't get enough. It's so well blended, I wouldn't have ever guessed half of the *notes. Surprisingly, not overtly gourmand. Otherwise,I wouldn't wear it.
It starts off like a boozy CK Euphoria.{BOOZY, NOT an ethyl "Alcohol" smell) That passes in about 20 Minutes. It then morphs into a perfect blend of Velvet Orchid & Black Orchid with a nice cacao note. I don't get the coffee at all. I think it's just enough to give it a bite/aromatic spice.
Also, JC!, The silage and longevity on this is pretty strong. For the price? ...Under $25 USD. The bottle surprised me as well. Online it looks kinda tacky. But, in person it's actually very sleek, modern,Chic & Kool. Well made, heavy with magnetic cap in rose gold and black and an unusual shape, very Avante Garde.
I truly dig this perfume. It's sexy too. But, even though I don't follow norms when it comes to perfume and when I should wear it aka "Season-Scenting" . I wear what I want, when I want. But, this is definitely a cool weather scent. It just works better with cool/cold weather.
But, on an intimate rondevous in the evening/night in the summer, it definitely works. It is SEXY. For some reason, men really seem to like this scent. On that note (every pun intended). I think a man could wear this. But, I think it's definitely more suited for a woman.

*There is also rose and litchi in this perfume according to Sterling perfume makers of Armaf. Though not listed here.
Which why I get an "Orchid" vibe. It's from the Rose.

SuzanneS

A super buy at the price point. Rich, deep and longevity for miles. La Nuit Tresor felt a little thin and chemical. This does not. A larger strawberry presence than LNT. The bottle is a bit odd but a very pretty rose gold. This should get more attention than it does. a huge underrated gem.

Planet_X

Extremely loud fruitchouli through the magnifying glass.
Closest thing to La Nuit Tresor Lancome - strawberry+caramel+praline. It is very likeable from the first sniff, but tiring after a while. I think in depressive modes it can be really a mood-lifter, otherwise - evening type of flirty vacation fragrance, compliment and attention getter from younger lads around, but older group might be more picky and get annoyed by how sticky loud this Signature projects. I gonna keep it till winter comes, fun just to spray it in a room from time to time, bottle is heavy and well-made, magnetic cup sits finely and the spray works really smoothly. Price is good as well, so recommend to gourmies.
