This is gorgeous! Started with a boozy citrus blast. Dried to a peony floral with gentle woods. Great for everyday wear and special occasions too.

fragheadny

A bit too bathroom cleaner-esque for me sadly. Very similar to Bright Crystal.

Shimmer412

Very clean, fresh, light, and effervescent fragrance. It has a very slightly soapy type of clean scent, but in a good way. It would be a great choice for at the office because it’s an inoffensive scent. It’s also a nice casual fragrance, so it’s great for daytime wear and anytime that you just want to smell/feel fresh and clean.

Burberry Britt Sheer reminds me somewhat of Clean Reserve Skin and Phlur Missing Person. They’re not the same, but they have a similar clean feel to them.

I tend to get really good longevity with my fragrances, and this is no exception… it lasts throughout the day on me. The projection is nice, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me.

Peachie

To me this smells so clean and very much like a shower gel. The opening reminds me of The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit scent and I absolutely love it. This is a perfect perfume when you just want to smell clean and fresh and don't want anything too complex or too strong. A bit expensive for what it is but I think this can be found on sale quite often. It makes me feel good :)

arieschick44

This scent was very underwhelming for me. It lasted around 3 hours and faded away. The smell was ok, but definitely nothing to write home about. The pineapple leaf was beautiful, but other than that I was not impressed. I give this scent a 3/10.

Shanty36

I really like this for what it is, which is an effervescent, bright uplifting casual scent. It's a lightly sweetened floral. Lasts about the amount of time you would normally expect for this type of scent. I dont really get the litchi but i definitely get this light sweetened pear and the peony in the dry down. Very likeable sweet, floral. Is it ground breaking? No. Is it lovely? YES! And i dont find it overly juvenile either. I dont get the shampoo effect that others have noted but i can see how some may get that vibe (pear can have a tendency to do that). And it's discounted everywhere since it's been out for so long so i definitely think it's a great fragrance to pick up if that's what you're looking for.

EvaNicoleFragrance

I used to adore this fragrance as a teen. As an adult, I find it now to be too bright and too harsh for my taste. The acidic fruity opening paired with a heavy peony lend to a loud floral with forced freshness that becomes headache induce to me nowadays. Sadly, I must move on from this once favorite.

phufem

I know this is a very boring fragrance. It smells like a really nice shampoo. I personally am a fan. It think it smells so perfect, bright and young, without feeling childish. If smelled this one someone else, I'd think they were very put together, though it's not an outstanding smell. The tartness makes my throat feel a bit funny after some time, which happens to me too when wearing DKNY Be Delicious.

fathughie

Purchased because I generally LOVE Burberry perfumes and their respective layers. However, for this, I thought it smelt like drugstore florals Herbal Essences - and not in a nostalgic way. The middle notes heavily overpower all other notes. I had to return it :(
That said, if FLOWER POWER is your thing, you may enjoy it. Aside from the scent, it's definitely not heavy, and silage isn't overwhelming at all. Just wasn't my style.

_Aerides

Smells like a hairspray or shampoo in a really nice way, it's tart and fruity and a bit plasticky up close (in a good way). The most prominent notes to me are the Yuzu 🍋 and Peony 🌸 there is a clean woodiness underneath and is overall very pleasant, I really like it but I feel like it's missing something to make me love it. Performance wasn't great on me; about 3hrs and moderate sillage.

aina12

I don't get the soap/shampoo smell but it does smell clean and inoffensive, in a good way.
Sillage is very weak though, so even if that blind buy was a good deal, if I have to spray multiple times throughout the day to keep smelling it, it may be costly....
Edit to add : maybe it's just me, but I find the dry down smells a lot like Cool Water by Davidoff...

CamJ27

Amazing blind buy! It smells sweet & clean. It does smell like shampoo and I’m not mad about that.

Filigree4Life

Blast of generic new car smell, which was not totally unpleasant. Than sharp green note. Dry down of sinus stabby florals of no particular type, slight detergent note. For some reason it reminds me of Calvin Klein Eternity. I wish this was sheer and I wish this was a soft peony, clean rose. Seems to stick close to the skin, minimal projection. Not offensive, not pleasant to my nose. Glad I have only the 5 ml mini.

alyssarware

This smells like ivory soap, like the liquid aloe ivory soap. And that's amazing because I've been wanting something that smells like it

ClassicallyVintage

I usually avoid perfumes with citrus notes, since they turn sour on me, but I’m pleasantly surprised I enjoy this one as much as I do. Its definitely got that shampoo/aquatic vibe to it. Like others mentioned, it’s very inoffensive and I do have to overspray to get more than a few hours out of it. I wore this a lot this summer, which was hot and oppressively humid and it preformed very well. Is this a basic perfume, yes, but if your looking for a “clean girl” perfume that gives you that fresh out the shower smell, then I’d suggest trying this.

stellinetchka

very burberry-esque. a freshly-showered scent, something clean & light but the pear & peony really shine through. its understated, & not overwhelmingly fruity as the top notes might suggest. overall I like it for a spring day fragrance, something to apply after the shower. it's cool-toned & not alcoholic or heavy in the slightest to my perception, I would even wear it to go out for drinks w girlfriends in the evening. I pick up on slight grapefruit notes & the woody scent only comes out after a couple hours. its nothing I'm passionate about, but I do appreciate it on the shelf when I'm wanting a clean, fresh, sweetly subtle scent

solida

This perfume has a fresh and clean scent, like a shower. It's bubbly and refreshing, but not overpowering. It's a great choice for anyone who wants to smell nice without offending others. Overall, it's a subtle and invigorating fragrance that's perfect for everyday use.

I give it a 9 out 10.

Melo-D

I like this perfume; it is a fresh clean scent. I get a strong shampoo vibe which I love for work and daytime settings where I want to feel like I’ve just stepped out of the shower. I feel clean, and put together without being flirty or overdone. Perfect everyday casual.

willowheartsperfume

i bought this thinking it was burberry her 🤦♀️ it smells more like a cologne to me but once it dries down i get that floral scent, i like it but i was disappointed with the smell

junidasom

This fragrance is great if you want to try Burberry but have thought they were too pricy. This fragrance lasts about 5-6 hours on my skin. I would say its not too sweet, beautifully floral, a little soapy, and ending on a great note musky. Other people in the comments have been saying it opens too sweet and alcoholic, however if you compare this perfume to any Chanel fragrance, this is barely a harsh alcohol opening. For the sweetness, this fragrance is not sweet at all if you've tried Burberry her, Indult manakara, or Prada candy.

spellbook.soaps

Yikes :/ I really wish I liked this one. It opened with pure alcohol and dried down to a very sad dollar-store type surface cleaner. Hard pass.

cherryflavoredantacid

If soapy, shampoo like perfumes and nothing else is what you enjoy smelling like then this is your fragrance. Because damn it smelled like a cheap L'Oréal shampoo you'd buy at Walmart for $3 on sale that is close to expiring. Skip this one.

Rhinsed

If there is a fruit fragrance to be found here I can only barely detect it. Personally, I would describe this scent as a floral musk. It is SO soapy to me, I wore it once and gave it to a friend.

suzanne_ronald

SHEER "PINK" MUSK. Opens with a fruity-floral burst of litchi & yuzu with tropical, citrus & green tones from pineapple-leaf, that deepens into the floral heart of peony rounded out with peach-blossom & pear nuances, all resting on a white-musk base with soft woody nuances. Alongside there's a soft shampoo vibe that carries the other elements. Has the My Burberry Blush DNA, but this is a lighter, muskier sheer type of scent along the lines of Light Blue Dolce&Gabbana, although this is a different scent profile. Overall, I get a sheer, clean "pink" musk scent with average performance for a light summer wearing experience. This is the perfect scent to wear for that 'just-shampooed-hair' vibe. Feel free to spray with abandon. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

pingaparadise

Sweet, fresh, floral-fruity fragrance that reminds me a lot of the My Burberry Blush except not as over-powering.
Bought my 2nd bottle of Burberry Brit Sheer on eBay as some still sell ones with the original bottle and formula made in France before Burberry changed their branding which in my opinion lasts much longer and smells nicer than the same perfumes made in Germany or Spain.
It's a shame Burberry no longer manufactures majority of their perfume in France.

Shokenmo$@711

I got this from a counter. I don't know why I bought it. Personally I don't like sweet and floral-fruity fragrance because it often makes me nauseated, and this one is absolutely very floral fruity. Top notes are strong peachy and some flower scents which continue to heart notes. Agree that Brit sheer is very much like My Burberry, but My is softer and better well-blended with more different layers. I used it until it was almost gone, but I broke the bottle and the scent changed, so I discarded it. Pretty bottle.

qianqian

Had a 30ml bottle when Chemist Warehouse had a sale. Got for AUD 25.

Was a blind buy as I wanted to bring just 1 small bottle for a few months' trip overseas. Read some good reviews and thought it wouldn't go wrong anyways.

It didn't go wrong, but it was not too impressive either. It smelled like a lychee-ish sweet and pineapple-ish sourness mixture. It was quite lovely, cheerful and young. However it didn't last long, 3-4 hours at most.

It's OK but as I'm building up my collection, I decide to save the spot for some more interesting frags.

SweetP89

I really love this scent ! I received a travel size from scent bird and fell in love instantly. I always told myself that I would buy a full size bottle and I did just that . I found a bottle at Burlington for 24.99! And it smells even better then the travel size I received from SB . This scent for me is a no brainer it’s light ,refreshing and uplifting and super feminine! To me this is a safe blind buy . I also want to add for this to be a toilette the lasting power is amazing !!

Lindsayaw89

Grapefruit is what I smell. Lots of grapefruit.

arizonaruby

I’ve owned multiple bottles of this and it’s one I always keep in my collection for warm weather. The opening is beautiful; fresh, juicy lychee, mandarin and pear. The floral notes gradually come through the more it dries down. These tone down the fruity sweetness and bring out a soft, more rounded floral character. I just think it’s a beautiful, fresh, feminine, fruity floral. I find the longevity and sillage to be really good on me too, especially for an EDT.

barwench

In theory, I have no problem with any of the notes. In fact, the perfume smelled fine. What wasn't fine was the low grade headache it gave me. It's quite a weird reaction. A friend suggested that it may be the alcohol in the perfume that was giving me a headache. Who knows? I've rehomed it with a friend who enjoys Burberry perfumes.

Jordan 99

This is my summer perfume, I’m about to finish 2nd bottle, will probably get 3rd soon. It’s very fresh flowery/fruity sweet and sour scent, I don’t like citrusy unisex perfumes so this it great alternative to be supper fresh and feminine. Just want to point out it’s not winter scent, it just needs humid or sweat to burst out in to its glory. I can’t find anything really similar to this one, even Tory Burch which has similar opening dries in to something els. This perfume is very unique to me, very fruity fresh without being sirupy, longevity and projection are good too. This scent holds special place in my collection, sort of my sporty/ adventure goer.

AshBud

Love the description from Wonder_Rose! Sheer is not perfumy, it's more soapy and clean. Like you're fresh out the shower. It's light, airy, and feminine. You definitely get the lemon like yuzu with the delicate peony. It smells just like Jimmy Choo L'eau, which I also enjoy. Versace Bright Crystal, one of my favorites, is much more floral and rosey than Sheer, but they are all in the "fresh" family. Burberry Blush is also bright and fresh, but less floral and more "zing". It leaned too tart (like grapefruit) for me.

d_silent_one

To me, this is an almost exact dupe of Gucci Envy Me. At first, when you spray it, the opening is very very sheer and green. Then, after a few minutes, you start smelling Envy Me, which then at that moment, its likeness is of a 98%. The scent is exactly how the bottle looks, so when you look at the bottle, it is a true depiction of what's inside. It is a veil of sheer light, translucent pink. This is excellent for the summer in bright, hot mornings.

ADDENDUM: At this moment, I have Gucci Envy Me on my left wrist and Brit Sheer on my right, and I'm comparing them side by side. There is a noticeable difference with them. Brit Sheer is more dry, more on the green/fresh side and it almost has a metallic-y nuance, whereas Envy Me is sweeter with a violety nuance. If I had to stay with one on them, it would be Envy Me, it's nicer.

i'm so sad! i got the small version for a great price so i wanted to risk a blind buy but unfortunately this was a fail :(
i saw the notes and they just looked so nice (i'm not a scent expert in any way), but it just isn't for me i think.
it is very very citric, i live in a place where the weather is always hot so i can't even imagine applying this without getting a headache. i tried it on my wrist but couldnt leave it there for even 10 minutes, i had to wash it off :(
i love sweet, inoffensive scents, but as i said, this one is very citric, floral and strong, not fruity or sweet even in the slightest (on my skin, of course).
i don't recommend it for hot weather and i definitely dont recommend using it during a hot day. i'm sure it smells lovely depending on the person and the situation, but didnt work for me (just like Her also by Burberry, which is a shame because i loved the notes!)
hope this helps ♡

COLLISIONxCHAOS

Love this perfume! First spray on my wrist and inner elbows, lasted between 4-5 hours.

Has a very beautiful feminine, fresh out the shower scent!

Notes i definitely get the most is yuzu mandarin and peony, definitely recommend if youre aiming for something fresh and light, or a fan of Versace Bright Crystal

Wonder_Rose

Love this perfume, it's fresh and sweet. This makes me feel like someone who just. smells. good. it doesn't feel "perfumy", but rather that you just smell effortlessly clean and fresh, like the combination of well selected personal care products. The girl that wears this sits next to you in your first year university class, always has a high ponytail and takes color-coded notes. She gets good grades and goes to the gym every morning, she probably shows up to AM classes with a smoothie. She has her sh*t together and you don't know how she does it.
It's not a groundbreaking perfume by any means, but it's a wonderfully wear-able scent.

FragranceHoarder

I have 4 different Burberry fragrances. Both of the Brit's that I have are 'eternal' on me - people around me can smell it over 12 hrs after I first put it on. Brit Sheer on me is a rosy-peony bomb... that just gets stronger as the day wears on. Sometime after the 12 hr mark it starts to die off - not settle down, this never settles down on me. There is maybe 5 minutes of very alcohol smell, then 12+ hours of all of the notes combined and I have never outlasted this scent - I need to either shower and scrub like crazy person, or drown it out with something massive like Giorgio Red.

I must have one of the weirdest chemistries when it comes to certain fragrances. I even get to the point where I have to shower to escape Burberry Woman. I try to wear this in weather that is super cold, because that tends to suck some of the potency out of my other scents, but not Burberry.

This isn't much a review of the scent, though - I'll try to focus on the scent itself. It is light and airy - and very rosy-peony blend, which leans more peony throughout the day on me. It is STRONG, as in I can do 1-squirt and quickly spread that shot between both wrists and behind my ears and on my mid-section. Usually I do a little spritz on the girls/decolletage so that I can smell the scent throughout the day. Not with Burberry - sometimes I have to avoid the behind the ears dab and do the nape of my neck and blot the rest near my belly button. For some reason, Johnson's lavendar baby lotion gives this a huge boost of longevity and a little added oomph with projection. The lychee and pineapple leaf play hide and seek after 6 hours. It has a feeling like Chloe Roses de Chloe, it's that light, airy, pink rose feeling.

Definitely try before you buy - we all seem to manage to smell similar things, but some of the body chemistry issues are really game changers. Burberry Woman has always been a powerhouse on me, and so too are the other 'newer' scents that I have purchased. I have a Pacifica perfume [Himalayan Patchouli Berry] lasts forever on me - and has the same scent-boost when I use Lavender Johnson & Johnson baby lotion. I can also smell the spritzer cap on a perfume and can tell if it will turn on me - like the flowers have all gone rotten or a metal-twang will emerge shreiking from my skin.

I love this fragrance, it is fantastic in projection, lightness, and rosy scent. It's kind of a cold scent, it is not a warm fragrance, it reminds me of winter weddings with roses as center pieces, and it feels like early spring - I live in the North East US, so early spring still brings snow and ice storms, the sun cam be gloriously warm but the air is chilly. So - you'd think this would be great in super hot weather, right? Maybe for you, but not for me. It becomes way too much.

mus_00

Be sure to get the real one!! Only buy this at stores with authenticity guarantees or you'll end up with something that smells like cheap hair spray. I've bought and returned it from several online stores, cheap mall stores and markets.
If you get a real one, it's my nr 1. It's light and fresh like a beautiful flower store. It lasts a long time on your clothes, not so much on your skin and makes you smell yummy all day. Absolute MUST HAVE!

sweetlikecandie

Fresh, sweet and inoffensive. Doesn’t last long nor does it leave any type of trail. Barely any projection. I think this would work much better as a body mist but it’s good if you can get it for a decent price

lilliankim98

Just smells like hairspray. Fresh and sheer, but not for me.

Hannehoney

A must-have for summer! This I have had in my collection for 10 years and its my third bottle :) Its so refreshing, like you just came out of the shower :) I can smell peony, pineapple and pear. It gives me summer vibes and its so easy to wear this scent. One of my favorites :)

Tinabill

BBS opens vibrantly with fresh tangy fruits and sheer lovely florals, and yes it is very reminiscent of shampoo at this stage. Not much later the musky woodsy base shows up as a bit sharp, synthetic and clean smelling -like laundry detergent- but is quite refreshing.
It is a cute versatile “pink” perfume, this genre is ubiquitous and not earth shattering and so most collectors find it boring, but it has its demand. It’s most appropriate for a T-shirt and jeans/ sweatpants kind of errand on a hot weekend summer morning. Regrettably it lasts for only a couple of hours but bright and energizing while it lasts.

babypoison

sheer bottle looks very similar to edt, but this is paler pink, while edt is slightly bit orangey,
despite sheer scores higher by votes, i prefer this over edt. i find sheer to be slightly sweeter n more suitable for younger girls. an office-friendly, inoffensive,, fresh, clean, musky and soapy floral perfume. sheers' silage is very mild but its longevity is very nice as an edt.

2Ladybugz

The description sounded great. Disappointing, like someone below mentioned, it's sheer because there's no smell, it's like a cheap body spray. It's clean, safe, inoffensive, basically because it smells like shampoo. Disappointing coming from Burberry, so blah.

BethyBee

I like this one ok. BUT, and for me this is huge, it dries down quickly to musk. I would have loved it without the musk, but I do not like this note in fragrances when it's all I can smell. So be forewarned if you are sensitive to this note. Lots of musk, and not much else on the dry down.

KatelynMLovesPerfume

The name is very fitting. SHEER as hell lol. It smells like a soft musk you could get at walmart for 5-10$. Not worth it in my opinion

k444yls

I really don’t like this and the notes sound so appealing to me but all i smell is a powdery musky old lady. It sounds like it could be amazing based on the notes but it really could pass as some outdated perfume from 1980s being resold at Ross.

_NicoleNonya

I scored this for $39.99 @ Marshalls.
I am a huge fan of Burberry formulas but the performance leaves something to be desired with EDTS. 🤔
It's fresh, joyful, cheery, an optimistic, mood booster.
The only way I could get 3-6 hours out of this was to spray A LOT and go out in the heat.
A spray behind the knee caps, behind the neck, on the back, 1 per collar bone, 1 per ear 1 per wrist.
Even after all those sprays, the projection is STILL mild. Projection is WEAK, so expect 'a shy girl next door' but hidden gem due to the beautiful formula.
I love Burberry Her 'Blossom'. It's only in EDT as well. All though different, Sheer London is still so heavenly airy.
Based on research, EDT's are best used in summer time.
This would be a good alternative for those who can't afford Chanel's Mademoiselle for an 'office' fragrance since the silage isn't offensive. Make sure you lotion first.
It would be nice if Burberry made EDP versions of the same scents to make them last longer.
I wouldn't pay more than $40 for this unless:
The projection was stronger
I could use less
The scent lasted longer
Like her blossom, this scent is so beautifully feminine, it's almost heart crushing it doesn't last at least 8 hours.

silthrill

This is CLEAN. Not soapy clean, but shampoo and bodywash clean. It's one of the most objectively likeable fragrances I've experienced - something to wear when you're not trying to stand out, just trying to smell freshly showered. Nice for all ages but especially a nice starter-fragrance. It's easy.

lipstickzombie

Sheer disappoinment. Not even 2 hours on my skin on five sprays. Barely any projection. I've had splash colognes with better performance than this. Thank goodness those samplers are tiny enough to serve as toilet spray.

baddieb

I've had this frag forever. My best friend purchased this for me as a birthday gift and it's wonderful, even to this day! I don't think it's unique per se, many perfume houses have that one crowd pleasing, neutral perfume that has no real complexity, but it's pretty enough to be interesting. For me, it's also hard to find a fresh floral-citrusy perfume that doesn't lean heavily in either direction. It's a perfect harmony of both and I don't get nauseated or overwhelmed. It's got a really youthful, feminine, fresh vibe; I think someone 18-25 would really enjoy this frag. As an EDT, it's not long lasting at all, but it's got moderate projection, it's inoffensive, and great for work/errands. It's a safe blind buy for sure.

ssamhita

You know the song “My Girl” by The Temptations? It goes something like this:

I’ve got sunshine, on a cloudy day; When it’s called outside, I’ve got the month of May. I guess you’d say, what can make me feel this way – my girl, my girl, my girl.

Well, the girl I’m talking about is the quintessential spring in a bottle. I would know. I’ve had this one with me for ten years now. Burberry Brit Sheer (EDT) is the perfume I associate with some of the happiest times of my life. I remember precisely the day I bought this. It was at the Singapore airport, just three weeks after our wedding, when I was still relishing the delicious thrill of saying the words “my husband” over and over again just to get used to it. Everything was brand new and shiny and sparkly to me, and after ten days in Singapore, we were on our way to Hanoi. I couldn’t wait to set up our place. I couldn’t wait to have my very own kitchen. I couldn’t wait to miss calls from friends and call them later to tell them that I was busy doing wife things. And there, sitting at the airport, willing time to move just a little faster, I found myself pacing the duty free area. And that’s where I found this beauty.

On me somehow, the lime and pear stand out the most. I don’t get any vanilla or amber. This is a very safe, crowd-pleasing mild perfume that would definitely make you feel like you’re walking through a field of flowers on a crisp spring morning. This makes a great work perfume because it doesn’t project as much and sits very close to your skin. It’s also perfect for days when you can’t seem to decide what you’re in the mood for. The only drawback that I can think of is that it doesn’t last very long, but if you’re the kind of woman who carries her perfume in her bag, then this shouldn’t pose a problem.

HoneyRum

Smells like hairspray or shampoo, it’s nice and inoffensive. IMO i can’t really see myself choosing this over any of the other fresh scents I have, but I think if you want something that gives you a very feminine fresh out of the shower smell this might do it for you.

Don’t pay retail for this perfume, you can find it in a lot of different places for a fraction of the original price.

rhiannonbp

This is so beautiful! Fresh, floral, citrusy and clean. Perfect for summer or spring, I picked this up as a blind purchase because I loved the packaging and it was so affordable. SO happy I did! It's different and refreshing compared to my other perfumes (mostly cosy gourmand scents). I feel like I'm at a garden party sipping rosé.

merde

Completely agree with @mamufa's review. I've been searching for a versatile summer fragrance that can also be worn all year round, an easy reach, something fresh, fruity yet feminine, and consistent with the "soft girl" aesthetic. Lovely, feminine, fresh and balanced with depth. And friendly on the wallet too. Someone described it as the "no makeup" makeup for fragrance and I agree.

Only cons are longevity and sillage. The top fruity notes are my favourite but they last about 10 minutes on my skin before it starts to evolve. Sillage also sits close to the skin for me and lasts about 5 hours. On the bright side, this is a great work-appropriate fragrance- it's difficult to hate but nothing hugely special I'm afraid.

shancat

I see 2 different pages for this. One says launched in 2007 (?) then this one in 2015. Have no idea what the difference is. Notes appear the same, just the packaging is a sheer pink instead of the plaid pink.
Anyway, I'm sure this is the one I have, sheer pink roller edt blind buy. Glad I just got this small size, not really impressed. It's pretty but not unique at all. It smells like so many other fragrances. I do like some Fruity Florals but not many. Angel Innocent Illusion by Thierry Mugler is a favorite, discontinued but can still be found. Recommend a sample first, not for everyone.
This is something that I would consider "safe" and probably boring. I imagine girls and young women liking this but it lacks just about everything I want in a perfume that I'd wear out somewhere. Like others I've noticed, I have some perfumes I wear exclusively at home after a shower and I wear to sleep, aromatherapy. The type of fragrance I wear out depends on season, time of day, humid factor, etc...some of my favorite range from Shalimar to Black Orchid. Agent Provocateur Petal Noir to Chanel Christalle (or N°19), and Jolie Madame by Femme by House of Rochas. Mostly my favorite is the vintage formula of Fracas. This Brit Sheer doesn't fit my taste. As I (we) get older (I'm 57) i think we outgrow these cutesy sweet types. I should just speak for myself but I don't think I'm alone. Do enjoy having a versatile collection, this won't be in it. Seems like something you'd let a flower girl wear in a Spring wedding. As I'm getting whiffs of the tiny amount I put on wrist, it's almost sickeningly sweet, cloyingly sweet. If a room full of women all wearing this and the air conditioning was broken, you'd have people crawling over each other to get outside.
To show it a bit of love, I like the pineapple and the dry down is pretty.

Juspaigeme

I’m usually not the biggest fan of fresh or clean type scents but I don’t mind this one. It gives me luxurious laundry soap vibes. It’s fresh, floral and fruity/citrusy. Very inoffensive. Perfect for work, school or the gym. Best for spring time but casual enough to be worn year round. Sillage and longevity are decent but you’ll probably want to reapply it after a few hours.

Peaches77

Very light citrus scent. Almost to light. Very understated. Almost light you have nothing on. I’m not really a fan.

Em99

Very fresh & clean inoffensive soapy fragrance can be worn by anyone of any age.

Inoffensive, doesn't really stand out to me.

Gms02

I was hoping to like this but to me the only thing I smell is hair spray. It has a similar vibe to Versace Dylan Blue. I’d be okay with my hair smelling like this but I don’t see the need to have it as a perfume.

scenthuntress

Love the scent, so deliciously sparkly and refreshing! I just wish it lasted longer, it lasts 2 hours tops.

TeacupBreaker

This is pleasant--light, green, and very reminiscent of fresh spring air. Very daytime, very conventional (not in a bad way). Before seeing the notes, I would have said there was apple in this, but it must be the pear + the florals. It does live up to its name, "Sheer," which means it's not offensive or headache-inducing, but it also means it fades disappointingly quickly for a designer perfume. I can understand why other reviewers compare it to hairspray or laundry detergent, but that's not what comes to mind when I smell this, and I wouldn't say it smells cheap in any way.

juliaz135

This perfume, while pretty, is super headache inducing. I've tried so hard to like it but I just can't. This is just too shampoooy and green smelling. For me, the pear note is not it.

valevaleria

Not special, but very femenine and pretty smell. Safe buy.

mamufa

This is how I thought Eternity Moment should smell.
I loved the commercials of EM and when I got my hands on it... I was so dissapointed. I never get to like EM.
Many years later I bought cheaply and blind a new bottle of Brit Sheer of opened it with no big expectations.
I was stunned. It was so feminine, so fresh, so lovely. Not too much flowers, not too much fruit, not too much citrus. Perfectly blended and so lovely, so lovely.

I spray it on the skin 1-2 times plus 1 in the hair and 1 on the top/t-shirt. And it stays with me the whole day. Even if I dont smell it anymore I get feedback I is noticeable.

It is not a sillage killer nor a great masterpiece, so dont set your expectations too high. It is a very lovely ( I know I repreat myself, but thats the word that comes to me when I smell BS) and "easygoing" everyday fragrance.

purpleturtle

Very pretty feminine scent, but does not wear long on me. I think I tried a sample of the edt. Maybe the Burberry Brit edp or the Brit Sheer edp would wear better on me? Will try to try those two. Other than that I loved it, and my husband loved it as well.

SilhouetteX

Smells like peony laundry detergent indeed. It's incredibly fleeting, it hasn't even been 2 hours and it's already gone from my skin. Not worth the money imo. If you're looking to prolong that fresh-out-of-the-shower feeling there are better, longer lasting options out there.

Perazim

1:1 fresh laundry smell.

If this is for you, get it

Kivsophie

Beautiful pear perfume! If you enjoy pear in your perfume, this one is a must-have.
I understand why some people are comparing this to shampoo/soap, but isn’t shampoo supposed to smell good?
This was love at first smell for me, back in December 2015 when my boyfriend at the time gave it to me as a Christmas gift. I remember drowning myself in this perfume during the hot days in Ivory Coast. To me this is a fresh fruity floral scent, beautiful citrus coming from the yuzu which complements the litchi note very well. The dry down is woody and musky and very floral but not a potent floral. Very soft clean fragrance, great for layering. Nice for summer and spring. I personally don’t like wearing perfume to the gym but this one is safe to do so because it almost work as a skin scent. Lasting power is very very poor but for the price I don’t mind.

VinnieVie

SUPER bright florals and citrus. I like this scent, but it takes a while for the sharp alcohol smell to wear off. Once it dries down, it’s a really nice and inoffensive scent. Good for spring and could be worn in a professional setting.

tylnee

My second favorite spring staple after Eclat d’Arpège - smells super bright, innocent, clean, fresh and girly! I can't agree more with the reviews saying that the scent of Brit Sheer is akin to that of hairspray. This perfume marks the beginning of my love for fresh florals and shampoo-ish scent and I swear it will always be in my collection.

Brit Sheer is a beautiful marriage between peony and litchi, with peach blossom lingering in the background. It opens with a blast of alcohol and yuzu; the latter smells very sharp and bitter, but fortunately fades away within a few seconds before settling to a sparkling litchi, adding a hint of sweetness to the composition. The peony and peach blossom, which smell so delicate and uplifting, follow shortly after that and remain prominent throughout the life of the fragrance. In the dry down, you will be greeted with subtle, comforting musk and warm woods - a divine conclusion of this lovely fragrance. If I had to choose one word to describe this, it would be 'effervescent' - the scent reminds me of an innocent and graceful, albeit fragile and a little naive princess who hasn't yet fully enter adulthood

With 7 atomizations, it lasts about 7-8 hours on me in an air-conditioned environment, which is quite unexpected given that the perfume is so airy and light. The projection and sillage is not terrible either: it projects within an arm length for the first hour before turning into a skin scent, making it the perfect scent for cuddling and personal/intimate moments as well as being office-friendly, while still garnering compliments from others around you if they come close enough since the scent is crowd-pleasing and not overly intricate.

Brit Sheer is definitely aptly named -- light, delicate, youthful and feminine without being juvenile or boring. The pale pink bottle also reflects the girly and innocent character of the scent. I'd say that this is what I imagine pink to smell like, and I really recommend it to those who are looking for a fresh floral with a reasonable price tag.

lilliankim98

This really does smell like hairspray. The opening is light and fresh and fruity, but that lasts about a minute, two max. Then, it turns into a heavier obviously peony scent. And then, after about five minutes of that, it settles into a clean, fresh hairspray scent. It's not bad, but if I wanted to smell like hairspray, I would just wear hairspray.

It smells different on paper versus on skin, too, with the fresh fruitiness lasting longer on paper (at least for me!). It's a no for me, but I could see it working on a younger woman/teen. Do a skin test before buying.

ariellecoambes

Peony laundry detergent. A sharp alcohol base that burns my throat when I smell my wrist, even half an hour after spraying. Hard pass for me.

Peacelovecolorart

Wonderful in the spring. I first tried this in October and hated it, found it cloying. In spring it’s totally different - FRESH, light, almost aquatic. Bright, sparkling. The musk and woods in the dry down are so wonderfully subtle and soft. Lasts about 3 hours on me.

hydrangeababydoll

Got it for my birthday. The perfume is really refreshing & for young women who are carefree and creative but like to feel fresh throughout the day. :)

CorgRage

Based on the notes and reveiws I really thought this would be something I would enjoy. I'm easy to please, don't have a refined nose by any means, but I hated this. I was looking for another clean fruity floral since feeling fresh out of the shower has been really uplifting. This smells so cheap, like a bad hairspray as a different reviewer said. There's nothing fruity, floral, or "sparkly" about this scent. It reminded me of something I wore when I was in middle school that came from an aerosolized can. I hated smelling this on my clothes until it finally faded to something that could be described as only tolerable. Please get a sample of this and don't expect to like it based on the description, it really didn't match my expectations in the slightest.

rae09cg

Imagine when you put your hair up while it's wet, and you take it down in the middle of the day and it still smells like your favorite shampoo. Burberry Brit Sheer is perfect for someone who prefers a clean, bright floral, feminine scent. Reviews continue to say "shampoo" and "soap" to which I can't disagree. Although, I'd describe it more as a scent that carries on that feeling of getting out of the shower for the rest of the day. Because of the airy fresh femininity, I believe that's why it's getting a "teeny bopper" reputation, but anyone could wear this anywhere. It's an easy everyday choice.

echurch1979

Burberry Brit Sheer is 100 percent shampoo, hands down and nonnegotiable....but, and this is a big but, it does it so in the most pleasing way I've smelled yet. That is of course, if we could possibly forget the tuberose in Poison as smelling a bit like Prell, or vice versa (wink). Brit Sheer is the smell of clean yearned for in mid summer's heat, and all around annihilates Bright Crystal's performance. They are indeed, extraordinarily similar structures, albeit, Versace's was released nine years sooner, and therefor sightly more naive, amping the flowers' brilliance to the point of illegibility. Please don't be fooled by the card test, or bottle cap "sniffer saver" - these faux glimpses will lull you into a purchase of the latter, when here lies the treasure. Brit Sheer shares with us a more refined experience. Outlines of ingredients are detectable, as with the dazzling peony, Yuzu, and litchi top notes. And, the start never stops, which I am transfixed by! It attracts other players, but still stays present. Lovingly opening a gate for juicy pineapple, pear and peach, and very casually allowing, musky woods to encircle subtly. Never loudly screaming to be noticed. Never so high pitched it becomes untranslatable. Just pleasantly durable, imbuing copious amounts of joy to my disposition! So, roll out of the front door and love yourself, with shoulders back and lungs full. Let your hair down during the day - not for them, no - but because you still smell that dazzlingly sweet, shampoo-fresh scent, still frolicking happily in follicles and fibers. You're a lady! You deserve a world that recognizes such as fact, and bequeaths you with nothing less than greatness!

mlissadufour

This is a perfume for younger girls who want to smell like flowers, but not in a "grandma" way. It's fresh, light, bright... The kind of fragrance you can wear to the gym whitout being annoying for other people. My cons: it smells a bit synthethic and the opening is sharp and hairspray-like

Sol0013

Brit Sheer reminds me of spring. 🌸 This is a fresh and floral fruity scent. I smell citrus in the first spray. A few seconds later, it turns into a fresh and beautiful peony.
This is such a feminine and inoffensive smell. The longevity and the sillage isn't enormous. But it lasts for two to three hours.
A compliment getter. You're gonna hear "you smell nice" from the people around you.

LEM922

Normally, "clean" or "fresh" scents aren't my thing. My sister loves them, and every time I smell one of her sprays, I'm just severely underwhelmed. I always think, if I wanted to smell like soap, I'd just go take a shower. Her go to spray is VS Pink Fresh & Clean... I hate it. It's so boring, basic, etc. So, when I saw the reviews on this calling it a "clean" scent or smelling like soap and shampoo, I sighed. I was hoping I wouldn't be disappointed. Today, I got it and sniffed it. And while I gotta say, this gives me laundry soap vibes, it smells like the most delicious, luxurious, expensive laundry soap I've ever smelled. This is LOVELY. The Litchi, Yuzu and Mandarin give this such an effervescent sparkle, while the Peony rounds out the composition with a floral influence, and the musk softens it without adding any sweetness. This is a perfect fragrance for campus, or the office. Even a casual stroll around town. I'm so glad I have this so when spring rolls around, I'll be prepared. Gorgeous, light, inoffensive scent. Burberry NEVER misses, at least not to me...

However, I will say, if you have allergies, test this first. I sprayed it on and I love it, but it triggered an allergy attack for me. I've never had an allergic reaction to perfume before which is disappointing because I LOVE this smell, but I'm sensitive to something that's in it. I can't stop sneezing. Lol, oh well. Just a disclaimer!

stacia79

Smells like my college dorm. Four teenage girls sharing the same suite and bathroom on a Friday night. Everyone needing to take a shower and get ready and soon all four rooms and the hallway would smell sort of like this. Fruity, young. Our collections of body mists and shower gels and department store perfumes. A melange of musky hyper girly hormones.

HMakeup

Too fresh for me. Smells like air freshener spray for the bathroom. After "The Beat" from Burberry, this one is a big NONO .

agate.ne

Burberry Brit Sheer is a nice and clean frag (kinda soapy or shampoo-y). A floral fruity scent alright with good sillage and staying power. Nothing new or special here though. Been there done that with this kind of scent.

This frag also marks the end of my interest in this olfactory because I am not inspired with this kind of scent anymore. I am also fed up with oriental vanilla hype (sorry, la vie est belle), so I am venturing into woody and leathery olfactory.

You will like this one if what you're looking for is something like Versace Dylan Blue pour Femme, Rochas Mademoiselle, Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia, and Gucci Glamorous Magnolia. That is one hella crude list though, but you get the idea..

And just for note, my favorites are Diptyque eau Moheli, Elie Saab le Parfum, Prada Tendre Prada (disc), Narciso Rodriguez for her and Narciso Rodriquez Pure Musc.

I also wear Penhaligon's Halfeti and Versace Oud Noir on occasion, so you get a grasp on my personal preference.. and I am not trying to be rude or anything, this coloumn is all about personal opinion (and some are pros, probably) after all. Good luck with your scent searching..

celestialchild

I love this scent so much, its a very fresh and clean scent. Casual enough to be worn year round every day, but it has more a springtime vibe. The only thing I dislike about the perfume is the longevity of it. I put it on around 7 AM but it wears off by 10 AM so only people who literally get close enough to put their nose on you can smell it, I can't even smell it without lifting my wrist to my nose.

rdickey

Hairspray. Mid-range hairspray is what this smells like to me. And then the dry-down morphs into cheap hairspray.

Kusuma_TH

Brit Sheer is an easy everyday perfume. Being friendly in the office, even in hot weather, it doesn't cause annoyance.
The scent is feminine, bright, cute and makes people who smell happy.

AriannaO

It's the second time I try to buy a Burberry perfume and I'll have to sell it again. I can't remember the exact name of the trial vial I had :(
This one I agree it's not good at all, sharp, sour, tries to be sweet but there are too things mixed together and the result is not for me. I agree with another reviewer that smells a bit of urine ...

jaedenlee

Meskipun aku cowo, wanginya enak manis, musk, buah-buahan. Tp berkesan kurang manly klo dibuat buat ngedate ya maklum namanya parfum buat cewe..

Zahraa555

I love to wear this perfume everyday. It is very fresh and feminine. I smell the litchi, peony and juicy pear in this scent. It reminds me of chanel chance eau tendre, both have very fresh/ feminine / fruity notes ( they don’t smell the same). It is not sickening at all, that’s ’ why I find it good to use everyday specially in spring/ summer.

cocomichelle10

Blind buy on ebay a few years ago and I was so disappointed. I tried to give it to my mother and she didn't want it either. To her she said it smelled like an elderly persons urine.

rchayes

This is a bedtime scent for me. The best way I can describe it is soft, soapy, and cute. The light pink color of the bottle captures the personality of the scent perfectly.

gillbert

great clean soft fruity floral, EDT but it last 7 hours on my skin

supergirl9412

I didn't love this one. Overwhelming clean, soapy floral w/ a touch of musk. I don't get any fruit or woods. I'm tossing my sample.

Hurricane_Hilda

Fresh bright clean a just came out of the shower scent. It’s alluring. Heaven in a bottle. It doesn’t have heavy silage tho. You can smell it on yourself for maybe 2 hours anything after that someone will have to hug u to smell this. And it does linger in your clothes. If you want to smell fresh and clean like laundry but better get this ! This is a summer yesss

tessiebee

Light, pale, girly scent. Starts off with some light fruit (litchi and yuzu are a nice change from the usual citrus) which morph into some pretty if nondescript floral middle notes. The base notes are barely there and this scent is just (JUST) on the cusp of moderate as after 2h it is a skin scent but only just detectable. To me this is a teen scent, ideal for someone looking to break away from sweet celebrity perfumes. On par with Elizabeth Arden but not as well priced for what you get.

mellyv1973

Simple, easy going scent that won't offend. Light, airy, girly. Perfect for the office, spring time, day wear.

Shan101beauty

This is a nice fresh and clean girly perfume. It smells like fruity shampoo a bit to me. I love perfumes that make you smell clean and this is exactly what this perfume does. Fresh and pink.

minamartin

On the first spray it is really strong fruity scent that's almost burning out my nose. It is absolutely strong and almost irritating. Passtime it is strong pineapple and on the drying down it gets peary-peony.

Im gonna be honest it is a scent for young, vibrant and extrovert personality girls. Not for the likes of me.

On a personal note, i never paid so much money on a toilet refreshener, because that's what it is smells like to me.

KylieBooFace

It smells nice, but I was hoping for Escada fruit cocktail with peony instead of fresh laundry.

Princ3sslove

It fresh sweet soft floral fruity, girly, young. Today I feel its not perfect for gym and not for daily. Just nice for gym. Cause I think I love when my fragrance is more bitter for gym..

zombieldehyde

Living in a tropical country, our departmenr stores are filled with yet another light and youthful fragrance. I'm getting sick of these scents because they lack the sensual aspect of more mature scents.

Fragaria

I was afraid I wouldn't love this so much! I won't pay more money than a perfume is worth to me. In my mind, everything has a "price". If that price isn't met, then I'm out!
It just so happens, I may have spent a teensy bit more for this perfume if I'd have known it was so adorable! That's it...it's adorable! It's a pink bow on the prettiest present. It's so CUTE! But it isn't "childish".
I smell birthday parties, sunshine, frilly dresses and cake...(a.ah..hem)in adult form. It's fun and clean...quite respectable! A super mom, an elementary teacher...yup!
The first spray or two scared me. I thought "Burberry!? where's your signature clean wood scent!?" and the next day of wearing, "THERE IT IS!". :-)
It's Burberry, it's wonderful as usual, and it's litchi! It really tones down the sharp peony. I LOVE peony, but it CAN be a touch annoying at first. It's a soft fluffy kitten in this perfume. No waiting! You can just smoosh your face into your clothing and breath ponies and rainbows! :-)

lnoskin

First spray: Fruity fresh greatness!

After about 30 mins: straight laundry detergent.

Dry down: Weak but still pretty. Smells like a weaker version of the first spray.

Someone else said that the middle dry down smelled off to them as well. I have only tested this on my wrist and am excited to spray it on my full body/clothes to see if that detergent smell goes away. Such an awesomely priced perfume. I will be back with an update.

Edit: during the spring I really gave this a shot but it really just smelled like cleaning products to me. If anyone is looking for this and wanted to test it out before committing to a big bottle, I have a 10ml purse spray up for swap in the US. PM me if interested!

Ladyd4475

I love this scent on my skin.
Not so empowering. The scent is soft and very smooth.
The floral and citrusy smell attracts me and I get compliments wearing this.

tc1203

I love this fragrance so much. I wear it almost every day in summer. Not too sweet and very fresh smell. The only thing it doesn’t last long on my skin just about 2hrs but it lasts on my clothes I still can smell it on my clothes the next day

Tvv2005

You can definitely smell litchi in this. It’s smell is a mix of litchi with floral but more of a litchi. The smell is nice not overpowering. It is lightly sweet. Love this scent

PetraLa

I received a tester, I like it very much so far. Refreshing and feminine, nice for work and casual events. Pineapple and flowers make a pretty team, it reminds me of "Coach Floral".

StrawberryX

I like this perfume a lot. This is one of few perfumes that i have used until the bottle is empty.
It is office friendly and does not offend everyone.
It reminds me of Versace Bright Crystal, but without the liquorice note (or similar, because liquorice is not in the official notes).
Will not purchase a new bottle just because i want to try something else.

meow78

I like how sheer this is on the dry down - I think it’s the best “naked” scent I’ve tried. It makes me smell like I’m fresh from the shower, but in an expensive way (like Ranger’s Bvlgari shower gel in Janet Evanovich books). This would be good for days that are too hot & humid for perfume.

ETA: Finally wore this on a hot day, and if I spray liberally, it is refreshing, crisp and clean. Burberry always agrees with my chemistry :)

Jobob

I love this fragrance. It reminds me a little bit of cristalle by chanel, which is one of my favorite fragrances but hard to find, when first sprayed on. A burst of citrus followed by subtle florals. It doesn't last very long so you need to reapply after about three hours. A cheerful scent that you can generously spray on and not be offensive.

masako_30

Perfection! For me it's the smell of dry cosmos..
My greatest passion is the cosmos and everything surrounds our solar system.
Some perfumes make me think to that and this is one of them. I inhale it deeply, it instils serenity.

Christycaxxx

I find this more floral than fruity on my skin. Very fresh and a little musky on the dry down. Definitely better than Brit Rhythm as it is so light and fresh and the floral notes so crisp with a hint is sweetness like springtime air. Beautiful fragrance for everyday in spring and summer months.

hyu80

I use this perfume at work. It's a lovely fresh and light floral scent. Usually I use about 6-8 spray. The silage is moderate and longevity is short (about 3 hours max).

PricklyAndHot

This version opens on me most of all yuzu, peony and pineapple. Previous version was more fruity (litchi) and yummy, staying peony light, but not as light as this one. This one is better for summer, because it's very light and fresh. And this one really reminds a little bit Bright Crystal, which freaks me out a little bit, because that fragrance is everywhere in Moscow in summer( I would prefer Brit Sheer for sure.

I can't make a choice, which version is better. The first one is more yummy, this one is perfect for summer, only I also feel similarity with light not expensive fragrances of my youth, and I don't like that fact.

In general, I think that this fragrance is light and nice. Only the lasting power is bad.

aura_therapy

Started out light, a nice fruity floral but it quickly dried down to a hairspray smell.

PocketRocket

@purpleturtle I thought this one has poor longevity too. After several testing and smelling this on a friend, I was proven wrong. Brit Sheer has a respectable longevity and projection but My Burberry Blush is just nuclear. I'm guessing Blush overwhelmed Brit Sheer.

purpleturtle

Sprayed it on one wrist and sprayed My Burberry Blush on the other. The Sheer was too light for me to really smell much after a minute. Maybe a little bit of sparkly pepper. Low to nil sillage and longevity on me. I much preferred the My Burberry Blush with a light bit of rose and wisteria.

Happy smelling! :)

Fleur divina

Burberry Brit Sheer is a lovely feminine floral scent. It’s inoffensive and gentle, doesn’t give a headache and uplifts my mood. It’s not a strong scent and doesn’t last very long on my skin, may be 3-4 hours max.. The dry down is weak and projection is also not much, it’s more of a skin scent. One can spray this and go to bed, feeling beautiful. It’s nothing like any of the Burberry Brits, don’t understand why it is a flanker.

aniston

Initial spray gives fruity floral then citrusy, before it settles to clean-smelling, soapy scent. This uplifts my mood! LOVE IT!

artisy

Burberry Brit Sheer is perfect for the warm and balmy days of Summer! It's not uncommon in my area for the temperature to reach near triple digits and sometimes be over 100. Too much sweetness, vanilla, or musk and even the most beautiful springtime scent becomes cloying and overwhelming here. When the temps spike, this is the bottle I reach for.

This perfume is polite but not boring. It has depth! The yuzu makes it playful and the citrus keeps it bright and fresh. The florals round it out and keep it from being too sporty. The base is very clean.

Yes, it does smell very similar to certain shampoos - I'm thinking Garnier in particular, but it is blended well so it certainly doesn't mimic cheap body sprays.

adrienn1222

Why do I like this scent? That's all modern romance! It's fresh, youthful, peaceful, depressing. It's a Mother scent, my little girl said. I will be happy, I will have a good mood. This is a great to walking, weekend time, garden party. It's cute, airy, and i feel i'm pretty. This is perfect for everyday life.

alanna89

I don't like this version as much as the original Brit Sheer, unfortunately. It lacks personality and depth. It it just peony and musk and not a great musk either. Longevity is low as well.

Nautigal

This is one of my favorites. It is so easy to wear because it is clean and fresh without being soapy or too green. Perfect for work and those times when strong scents are not appropriate. It stays close to the skin, but not so close that you have to search for it. Burberry Brit Sheer will be a mainstay in my collection.

kyl77

This is the perfect scent to wear when you want to smell really clean and fresh. I smell citrus and some fruity sweetness, but it's all really subtle. When I'm feeling low key and laid back, this is what I reach for more than anything else. This is one of my favorite perfumes.

Ayi.dian

My husband bought me this perfume last year and I love the fragrance, bring the energize, clean and fresh at the same time but also give you a bit sweet scent. Suitable for summer weather. When I finished my bottle down of course I will pick this perfume on my top list.

prettyb85

Looove this fragrance but I wish it lasted a little longer on me.

freckle80

To sweet and floral for my taste. Almost a headache candidate. The basic note is typically Burberry and leaves a mixture of cream and tagetes on my skin. But it really lacks freshness, clarity, and character. The fragrance is hard to define and puzzles me. Nothing to wear all day. Sorry.

Unqsgrtuku

Pretty pleasant scent. Very light, though. I liked the scent but not enough to buy the fragrance. Great for women of any age.

Kaeselle

Pretty, fun, bright and flirty. Make you feel good kind of scent. I love it. Could be my new signature scent.

VioletNoir

Very fresh and clean smelling but at the same time feminine. Sometimes fresh scents can smell masculine like aftershave but this is very feminine and soft. I love it. I sprayed some in the bottle top and im just smelling the bottle top over and over. i think i like this more the the original Burberry brit.

laurakaye

Testing this from an Ulta sampler kit.

Perfectly lovely, fresh floral. Clear blue skies, soft breeze, flowers, sunshine. Mood-lifting. This doesn't make a huge impression except that it would be a good go-to when you just want to smell light and pretty. If someone wore this and walked by me, I could see myself asking what they were wearing as I caught the sillage.

Whereas Burberry Brit makes more of a statement and seems a good choice for cooler weather, Brit Sheer is a perfect springtime scent. I can't think of one time or place where this wouldn't be a nice fit - work, church, taking a walk in the warm weather. Very nice!

ntabassum92

It's alright. It's very weak. I'm finding a lot of Burberry fragrances to smell very similar lately - sour quince, very pink, prissy florals - smells like nice fabric softener and so boring! I wonder what we would call this type of fragrance if our fabric softener smelled different, say, like Chanel No. 5? Would we find this kind of fragrance interesting, then?

I hope not.

fyrewoman

The yuzu is sparkling. I love this. The lack of lotus and different fruits makes this a bit different from Bright Crystal. The two are similar, especially, because of the yuzu.
Every time i see the word Sheer in a perfume i get apprehensive because i immediately think it's transparent and unnocicable. I'm glad i tried this. I like this better than Burberry Brit. Great for spring, summer or any morning when you want something light and refreshing to jumpstart your day.
I tried the plaid (not the one pictured on this page) bottle at Lord n Taylor and fell in love. I ordered that one when i got home and recieved this 2015 edition. I'd like to know if there is any difference.
I may have to go back wearing what i have on one arm and try the other bottle on my other arm to find out for myself.

jessbot101

Tried this at Sephora. I liked the top citrusy notes when I spritzed it on the paper strip, so I tried it on my wrist. I hate, hate, hate the dry-down. It gave me a headache, a powdery overwhelming "old-lady" smell. Does not smell nice on me at all.

nvenus

Smells a bit like shampoo but other than that it could simply be described as "citrus and flowers".

I'm not an expert on Chanel fragrances but I've smelled one that is like this. Some say "elegant", I say slighly boring, too safe and very plain.

Not too bad, I could wear it but I would never pay much for it. I'd maybe buy it on sale to give it away as a present.

... I'll consider keeping the 7.5ml edt "pocket size" in my small collection because it looks nice and is wearable.

staceydtb

I was perfume shopping one day and this scent completely stood out. Fresh, sparkling, bright, and playful. This is such a feel-good scent!

I wore this right after purchasing it and didn't tell my man that I was wearing a new scent. He immediately noticed how good I smelled. If he likes a scent as much as I do, I know it's a hit. This scent passed the test!

sarah_eliz

Smells similar to: Versace Bright Crystal & Neige by Lise Watier.

Adjectives: Clean, soft, fresh, floral, airy and pretty.

Good for when you're wearing: Jeans and a t-shirt, maxi dress, spring/summer dress

I agree that this is nice on days where you don't feel like wearing anything overwhelming and your mood is lax. At first when I sprayed this, I thought I didn't like it, but then I let it develop and within about 10 minutes I liked it. It's a nice scent that's great for a day date with a guy or with your friends.

However, I found this to be a touch too old for me because after an hour or so it smells similar to Neige.

This may be on my list for next spring/summer.

Old Herbaceous

I tried this today at Ulta. NOT a success for me although I had high hopes based on the heart notes listed, and I like those base notes too. Top notes, not so much, as I don't like a lot of fruit notes in my fragrances, but I was eager to try it. Wow. I felt as if my nose got hit with something really sour and really strong, with just one spray inside my elbow. I think it was the yuzu top note. A couple of hours later, the sourness is gone and what is left is quite pleasant. I won't be buying this, though; the sour opening was too much for me.

This scent reminds me of Versace Bright Crystal.

It's clean, light scent.

I got this a part of a Sephora perfume sampler and used the included coupon to buy a full size.

I just bought a rollerball of this to try! I seem to be the Queen of the vibrant and fruity floral fragrances that don't last a long time but I still love them anyway!
Today I received the 3.4oz 2015 edition of Burberry Brit Sheer!
I'm so very impressed!
I sprayed it on heavier than when I transferred my rollerball version into a Flo perfume atomizer to spray it. Most rollerball styles just don't do any fragrance its full justice! I have had this fragrance on for 13 hours straight and no touch-ups! It has the longest staying time on my
skin, so far out of my new resurgence and newest love of higher-end fragrances again!

This is a nice subtle scent, soft & sparkling. A very light floral with splash hints of fruit. Perfect for when you don't want to be scent naked.
