A nice alternative to more popular men luxury fragrances. Fresh, classy, but too weak.

YoutubeChannelBobGianShow

i'm currently wearing it now. and it's been almost 5hrs already. And yet, i can still smell it on my skin.

Very fresh, clean, classy scent for a reasonable price. Very appropriate for summer!

Fagrance

Smells like a dog getting washed with sweet shampoo

YoutubeChannelBobGianShow

reminds me of Versace Man Eau Fraiche, Montblanc Star Walker and Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue For Women.

Very fresh, clean, inoffensive scent.

Very classy! 10/10

Smellgood_morechairs

Waiting on that EDP also.

Ornio

Is fragrantica going to out the EDP on this website?

ViceCity

Not much wrong with it, smells clean and definitely has the Bvlgari DNA of fresh fragrances.

My only issue is that I had a bottle of Pour Homme Extreme already and this one rather lacks potency in comparison. Pour Homme is unlikely to last through a summer day of 85-90% humidity, which is the kind of weather I face on a nearly daily basis for many months a year.

Definitely not worth having both, I recommend Pour Homme Soir or Extreme for potency, longevity and use under hot/humid summer conditions.

JeanPierree

An aethistically pleasing scent, with a classy tea note & formally sweet drydown. This smells like a new, luxury hotel room with clean towels. Can see this being worn for formal events, or adding that extra level of classiness to your outfit.

benkim

After trying few modern releases, I've been craving colognes from the yesteryear - clean, musky, easy to wear, and not overly sweet. Classy gentleman.

This is not a sweet fragrance, not one bit. On the tester strip, I get more musky than a tea note, but on my skin, this evolves into tea leaves with a perfect balance of clean musk and bitter vetiver. I imagine this bitterness and tea like an oil layer on a puddle of water - could have leaked from an old car, but there is some mechanical facet to this bitterness that I cannot fully describe other than "oil layer on a puddle of water". My partner was definitely confused when I said it however.

Surprisingly decent performance (better than what I recalled from years ago), but could be because it's an older batch.

will_i_smell

This was THE fragrance, back in 1997, that really roped me in to the game; that made "colognes", fragrances. I really wish everyone could smell this as it was when it came out. Was so unique, alluring, and masterfully blended. Purchased a decant recently just for nostalgia, and while it did conjur some memories, it saddened me at how differnt it has become.

dmoloce77

Very, very fresh. Smells like waking up after a thunderstorm and smelling the air.

it's Zsa Zsa darling

A classic scent from Bvlgari…this is the only one worth buying/wearing. Not a ‘modern’ scent, thank goodness…when you smell the Alberto concoctions that almost make you swear off fragrance altogether! This mild, beautifully aromatic fragrance is perfect as an introductory scent for a man who doesn’t like, or wear edt. Perfectly formulated to be unobtrusive, elegant, and inoffensive to those around you. Created by Jacques Cavallier, master perfumer, you won’t find the abrasive elements of the ‘modern’ synthetic smelling scents from Bvlgari. Ladies, buy this for your husband with confidence, because not only will he love it, but you will reap the benefit of being around him. For being an all around glorious fragrance, I give this 8.7 out of 10.

djigoio

It is a perfect daily scent if you like the tea note and the vetiver. This one is not made to catch attention, but to be remembered by those close to you.

I'm sure I've smelled something similar elsewhere, like ZARA, or even the Bvlgari Rain Essence, but this is the one that executed the idea the best in my opinion.

eva.daisy.88

I like the gentle combination of tea, musk and pepper on my skin. At least that’s what I can pick up the most. It is not a very concentrated scent, it’s green but comforting. Lasts for a few hours before gone completely.

SpiderMarc

This is pure excellence in a bottle!! The best and most unique fragrance I have ever had, the only fragrance better is the intense version, ‘Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme’.

Since Extreme projects stronger and longer, I no longer get this version.
If you want an amazing and unique scent but yet light and fresh then get this version instead!

Steve907

After trying Wood Neroli, I was excited to try another Bvlgari fragrance because even though I didn't like the smell, I had to admit the mixture and weight and everything else was perfect. So I picked Pour Homme and I wasn't disappointed. It smells a little like Mont Blanc Starwalker but warmer. It's very comforting. Projection isn't loud but with this type of scent I think it's more suitable as a moderate projector. Longevity is great as I'm waking up and can still smell it. That's 12+ hours of wear! This frag is so good I'm looking into at least 3 other fragrances from Bvlgari. Hidden gem indeed. Cost could be better, but who needs money?

tpg

A beautiful scent! Pretty similar to the Extreme version but has less citrus and weaker performance.

butter2

this smells completely different in the warm weather than the cold weather. in warm weather the galaxolide comes way out with its clean but dirty sweet almost incense/ clean sweat comes out very up front, mixing with the citrus / florals like rosewood, slight orange flower, almost verbena type feel, definitely goes well with verbena. this one is a classic . love galaxolide

alexjacko13

Starts of nice and fresh but drys down to a sickly baby powder smell. Not for me

ethanp_nz

Amazing scent that has such great development. This was my signature in high school. Nice tea opening, very aldehydic, peppery, earthy and not really floral. My bottle is 20 years old and the scent is still stunning, but much weaker now. This scent develops really well on skin and fabric, I love the clean white musk in the base, it makes it sweet and clean, the vetiver surprisingly doesn't make it smell dirty. Underrated, I don't see any popular reviewer covering this solid scent, performance and projection quite lacking though. 8/10.

Glyph

I was interested in this because of the tea, but to my nose, at least, that note was pretty buried within it. What I got instead was a whole of lot of aldehydes and especially a whole lot of musk--as a result, this comes across as very "perfumey." (There's also some guaiac and some spices too.) This isn't unpleasant, but it's just not very appealing to me.

Fortyfree

A green fragrance, opens with a light tea note, a little grassy, a little woody. As it warms up it becomes spicier, earthier, there's also an aroma reminiscent of "rooty" vetiver. Has a phantom smokiness towards the base with a musk which does smell a little bit "dirty". This is more of a masculine fragrance, better for warmer weather, someone aged 25 & up. Performance is so-so, projection ok with longevity on the weaker side. Try before you buy.

zebra782

Sadly reformulated beyond recognition nowadays, the green, fizzy citrusy opening lasts for about 20-30 minutes and then its poof, gone not to be smelled again, what a shame...!!!

butter2

very interesting for a citrus fragrance. slightly strange spices going on with the musk and tea. i appreciate it i always have

Let_it_be

Bulgari makes good perfume and this is one of the best.

It's a mature scent - not that it smells old but rather it is not a loud 'look at me, I am wearing perfume' type of scent. This has restraint and is beautiful in a subtle way - the tea note is the key here. Despite the number of ingredients listed above, it is not that complex - which is the virtue for this scent, simplicity is elegance.

This has a light White Musk base, the effect after drydown is ethereal - where the layers are just airy and transparent.

fromthebayandaroundtheway

Bvlgari Pour Homme is a beauty of a fragrance. This scent feels like spring or summer in full bloom; light, airy and very bright. Bvlgari Pour Homme sits somewhere between Declaration de Cartier and Comme des Garçons 2, just natural beauty.
There are some great notes in this fragrance and some standouts are: the tea and lavender in the opening, so soothing. I love how the corriander, rosewood and iris play together in this fragrance; an earthy, warmth as gentle as a summer breeze. The amber and tonka in the base of this composition give a gentle kiss of sweetness to round out this fragrance. What true joy to wear, so subtle yet beautiful. Give Bvlgari Pour Homme a few sprays when calm and relaxation are the first and last goals of the day.

Colognewizz

I'm not sure why there is no one saying this smells like mugler or jean gaultier Monsieur???

BONKKER

A friend sprayed me with this around 1999 and it's been a favorite ever since. Unique and inoffensive. Very faint but perfect. 6-10 sprays needed. Scent lasts long on the skin. Would LOVE this in edp concentration! I wouldn't say this is feminine but I would love this scent on a woman, not so much the Extreme version. 10/10

AA4102

I still have a bottle (with around 30 ml juice left) from the late 90s, and I'm just amazed at how it held its scent through the years – that's more than 20 years. The OG formulation is so superior even to that of the Extreme version. I will forever CHERISH my bottle as it's the last of its kind – this was my father's one of 2 signature scents that's why it's very dear to me. The other one was Armani Pour Homme (when I was a teeny tiny kiddo) and this Bvlgari when I was in HS. Pure memories of my good ol days in a bottle. ❤️

Swashbuckler9x

A very special, very incredibly-blended clean and bright fragrance for men. Entirely uplifting Spring-Summer masterpiece. I can't think of an era in history where a man scented like this isn't a fantastic smelling dude.

I love this, discovered it at Heathrow airport and it did amazingly.

Will be rocking later this year 😈

lia_i_ame

My favorite scent on a man. Period!

Danne

No words.... Masterpiece 😍😍😍😍❤️

adlo3

very fresh, nice scent. It reminds me of green grass or something similar.

Zizi518

Clean, crisp, inoffensive, soft, professional and elegant. Bvlgari Pour Homme opens with a sharp musky, aromatic and woody accord with tea and some bright citrus. Vetiver gives it a bitter touch. Citrus quickly fades and settles with peppery and aromatic vibes. Later on the woody notes come through more. To be honest this is a fragrance in my collection that I don't really ever look forward to wearing, it's not that exciting, intriguing or super unique. However, this is great if you want to wear a super clean, inoffensive scent for the office.

Almost identical to Bvlgari pour homme Extrême.

If you have one, you won't need the other. I tried all three in the pour homme line and I'd say:
1. Pour homme is slightly less citrusy and less sharp than the Extrême.
2. It almost doesn't matter which of these two you pick. They are almost the same.
3. Soir is worth it. It's different from the other two.

In both pour homme and Extrême, you get bitter green tea (bitter, mind you,) and some musk. (You won't likely be able to smell other notes though.) In the Extrême, the scent is a little brighter with more citrus amped up. The Extrême also lasts longer and smells more pungent to the nose.

Soir is entirely different. It's got papyrus in it and it's the most intoxicating and aromatic of the three.

Anyway, this one and the Extrême are both perfect office scents. Soir is better for evenings.

caifan

Bvlgari Pour Homme is a citrus, musky and woody fragrance.

Its aroma is composed of many aromatic elements, such as citrus, green notes, musks, and woods such as vetiver and cedar. The result is a very pleasant and relaxing fragrance.

The fragrance is elegant and relatively fresh, for this reason it is suitable for use during the day.

Its longevity in skin was 8 hrs., Although very close to the skin.

Oloriffic

The only version I wear is the Extreme. It is much bolder with stronger sillage, but the scent is the same….lasts longer than the regular one listed. Fragrantica does not seem to list the Extrême version of this separately…but it is a different beast.

Guitar 2016

It's a nice fragrance, Fresh, Clean and Floral. It opens up with like fresh citrusy , floral and green notes in the background then dry down is musky woody. The Orange Blossom note is dominant in this perfume. This is suitable for the spring, summer and fall. I like Bvlgari Pour Homme EDT for Men.

Akscent

I have smelled this fragrance and much like it. That is a sad fact, as I am assured it was great once. But as it smells now, this scent is a failed blind buy for me.

BPH is unisex. It is bland. I was looking for a new tea scent, which Bvlgari usually do very well (check out the various Au Thé scents to see what I mean), but what I got was a faint aldehydic fougere that barely rises above a skin scent and is gone inside of two hours. I have heard that the original formulation had much better tea notes and more performance, but I have a 2020 bottle, so that is what I am reviewing. The listed notes, to the extent they are discernable at all, dissipate fast leaving a clean, inoffensive soapy scent that is noticeable only when your nose is right against your skin. Perhaps I got a bad bottle. I acquired it from the big Canadian discounter, so I believe my bottle is authentic.

Very ordinary in every way; therefore office safe. In fact, this is so safe in the current formulation that it is what I call a "job interview fragrance"; it is so bland that it cannot bother anyone and it is therefore totally safe for all business and even fraught personal situations.

I have not worn it in high heat or humidity. If those sort of conditions improve the performance or cause any of the notes to pop, I will update this review accordingly.

On the plus side, it is available very inexpensively and the presentation is attractive in a standard Bvlgari way. I want to like this fragrance because it has so many notes I enjoy and it was compounded by one of my favorite noses. But based on the bottle I have, I just can't find much here to like. I can't find much here at all. I can't recommend this fragrance in the current formulation.

entadus

The opening is very light, with orangey-citrus, black pepper, and tea. It's not so much like Gucci PH2 which has cinnamon and a sweeter vibe. The Bvlgari PH is drier, not really sweet, very faintly floral, and dries down to a very subtle woods/tea combo. Absolutely sublime, will always be a staple of my collection. If you like Atelier Oolang Infini, this smells almost identical at a fraction of the price. Two thumbs way up.

This is not a projection monster. In fact it is a perfect office scent, something I wear when I'm not even supposed to be wearing cologne (i.e. working in the hospital). Becomes a gorgeous skin scent.

butter2

i love this one

Agava

I find this fragrance more unisex than just masculine. As a teenager in the nineties, I almost doused Bvlgari Pour Homme. This fragrance reminds me of so many wonderful memories of growing up. Sharp at first, then fresh and citrusy further with a spicy hint of woody and warmer depth ... Mmmm give it to me I want to be 17 again!! 😊

SocialAssassin

Besides the opening, which smells like rubbing alcohol( due to the aldehydes). The overall scent is not much different to Soir Pour Homme. Pour Homme becomes woodier and softer, while Soir is a little darker, creamier, and earthier, more interesting to me. Regardless, both are excellent scents, however a bit redundant. Not surprised this one is discontinued.

warrioromar

Only fragrance that can be worn in interviews, this is a unique composition, clean, professional and very comforting, there’s nothing like it. Tea note here extremely elegant, can’t praise it enough, one of my absolute favourite!

Ken Tavr

Very subtle, natural, minimalistic. It is so subtle that it could work like an extension of one's personal scent.

At the time, this was very unique. I don't think there was anything similar on the market until Voyage d'Hermes appeared.

To describe it, it's a sort of dusty, botanical scent you would feel near thick, velvety plants. There is a citric feel to it and a subtle sweetness that makes it appealing. Although it doesn't remind me of any tea that I know, I understand why someone would label it as a tea fragrance.

BlindFuryFragFanatic

Thank you to the reviews for this as it is an amazing find. The short story here for me is that this is smooth versatile and classy. It has become one of my favorites to wear in the day to work (Spring, Fall). I would give this a 9.5 overall due to it's complexity, uniqueness, and style. It does indeed begin to sit closer to the skin a little early but the citruses and freshness just keep finding their way to persist. The overall scent is a delight to inhale.

The Blind

My favorite Fragrantica reviewer of all time did this one. Abilolado, I too am now not just parading in the success full in this smell.

Jacques Cavallier does some very interesting tightrope walking in his fragrances. It seems like he takes massive risks to achieve what he's looking for. I have come to regard him as my favorite craftsman above the likes of kings such as Morillas, Ellena, the Polges, Jean Jacques, Cresp, Wasser and many more on this level. I just think Cavallier has better foresight in what a fragrance needs and what will keep it timeless. To me, his artwork is always strategically functional and beautiful, the two core reasons to wear fragrances. For me, there is always a reason to wear something particular from Cavallier that's always just right for the occasion, and there is an air of class to his work. His works are not always complex and there is a good reason for that. For this instance though, Bvlgari seems to have unleashed Cavallier's full potential.

The Fury

Reading the reviews, I could see that this would be very safe for a day time scent. If some say that you have to re apply from time to time then Im not gonna gripe about it, I'll re apply, no problem. Im sure it's not easy to make fresh citrus notes extend out in to the middle to the end of the drydown so this fragrance had my curiosity. I would want this to be linear, I would be counting on it. I wasn't looking for a signature scent with this, I just felt that it would a be a hit in my rotation. It is still sold here and there, neither very easy or very hard to find. I found that you can get it for around $1/ml or cheaper. I havn't seen any fakes of it either which is comforting when looking for vintage scents.

The Fragrance

Rosewood, Guaiac wood, and Cedar are the heroes of this scent for me in that they allow the bergamot and mandarin orange to flourish and thrive. I cant identify any of those woods but you can tell they are there providing a foundation. Overlying on that is a creaminess and freshness that holds everything together for me. Iris lavender and geranium make for such nice masculine florals in that purpose. It is incredible how round this fragrance smells. There's some pepper in there rising to my nose. The Oak moss and coriander play nicely with the sweeter notes to lend more depth without surpassing them. I have also found that it is indeed linear, thankful for that, it is pure magic to smell on yourself as far as a scent goes. I get moderate projection on this actually, but the sillage is what I would consider under the average, not bad. Overall it smells like creamy sweet citrus to me surrounding the orange blossom.

The Fantical

I carry a 30ml bottle to re apply 2 sprays after 3 hours if I want to keep wearing it. Otherwise it will stay around much longer than 6 hours at the skin level (closer to 12 hours). The funny thing I find about this scent is that in the middle to the end of the drydown there is a sweet freshness smell to it that I imagine will get lost in a lot of people's noses who have similar smelling fabric softeners or other cloths/skin/hair scents matching to closely to this. For the same reason, Im not sure I would layer anything with this. It's profile is so round that it seems that it will overlap with anything at least somewhere. For me there is no need anyway, although Im curious what aquazone would do to this.

Coffee King

It's criminal that this was discontinued, yes it's light, in a time where people want heavy clouds around them, but Bvlgari PH was sophisticated, yet subtle. One of the first tea fragrances I encountered, for men at least. Not huge, but very distinctive. Much missed, along with soir.

promodel17

This fragrance smells simple yet complex. Spray it on your clothes and you might not appreciate it, but spray it on your skin and the magic will happen. The best drydown in my opinion. If you're like the shy type person and want to smell(lowkey) so good, this I reccomend you. Sillage is not that great but its good, the longevity is very long. It is sexy not in seductive way, but sexy in a way that it makes your personality so good and clean.

I applied it early in the morning and still can smell this after going home.
(putting my nose near at the spray point)

Any age can wear this perfume but it leans more towards young adults to adults. The smell of gentleshyman. Medicine student from philippines.

Abilolado_2019

I don´t just parade a success full in this smell. BPH open a big shot of my mistake and Swiss lemonade in a street of my mason.
The orange present in this juice, survive and rote a big apple than a chocolate earth.
The longevity is a turn, then a make me feel, then a more than much.
BPH is a fiel copy of a salad of a rabbit or Write.
So, than you hope of a BPH is better ou purple, think about this and used this perfume in your neck.

indianh

Legend from Bvlgari.. I have so many niche now, but this is still my one of favo, also i like its dry down musk than other musky fragrances, Classic at the best, btw i dont find much similarities between Soir edition and pour homme editions

Labaloo

I'm not a huge fan of "fresh" or "light" fragrances (which Cavallier is known for), but I can see where BPH has its cult-following. It has a brisk, yet elegant character that would go well with warm days and nice-casual. I am reminded of Salvatore Ferragamo a bit with its juicy, pelargonium heart, yet the green tea note and vetiver in BPH is more-obvious, the woods and clean musk supporting the serene, carefree quality. Easily unisex.

Longevity for me at 72F was over 10 hours. It starts off mod-soft in sillage, and develops slowly over time, leaning toward linear, becoming a skin-scent that lingers into the evening.

Likeable, inoffensive. Not really my cup of tea (pun intended), as I tend to prefer bolder statements in scent, but I have no complaints and would enjoy smelling this on someone else.

shadaroba

Although this is a male perfume, I love it on my skin. I think it's clean, fresh, elegant.

misha.1

It was my first entry to the world of INTERESTING frags, and, believe me, one of the best. Some folks say it has poor sillage etc, but it works for me, it's just perfect. If you want to smell like a heap of paper testers in a grocery store - go for anything else. But if "delicate", "subtle", "non-overwhelming" is yours - GO FOR IT. Even the "extreme" version is not "extreme" for today standards (but is different and, a pity, stronger, too strong for me). Check this one or OLD version of Pasha. BTW, it's REALLY difficult to overspray this one, but if you do, you will regret it ;-)

Bvlgari Pour Homme .... relax and take a break

Bvlgari Pour Homme opens green sophisticated light woody musky fragrance. It is calming high class and charming.

Then it transitions to something clean green tea and musk mannish yet gentle.

iltronista

Invisible. It is the perfect adjective for this perfume. Very thin, too thin to be called a good scent, and yet the basics were there, reading the pyramid looks like anything else perfume. A woody frescolino that is not worth buying. opens with citrus and bergamot very light and linear, after a while 'you hear the tea accompanied by a flowery shy, with a slightly smoky and woody base. But it is all so weak, a scent almost unarmed. I would not mind a little more flower or a pinch of spicy or a vetiver and more decisive cedar, it's all so flat that it tastes of nothing. A perfume that does not want to say anything and does not even try.
A woody frescolino that is not worth buying.Projection less than zero, good duration. It would be an elegant and sophisticated perfume, but it does not show it.
It's like I'm going to buy a crafted shirt, but they only give you the fabric

richmilton

I find it boring and the longevity is non-existent. Barley lasts 1 hour at best. It's not a bad scent, just so many more interesting fragrances on the market today for about the same price. I'm sure in the 90's this was the t*ts. But today, it's just meh.

César Tan

It smells like green tea and i wrongly bought this last summer last month ago and wrongly wearing it. Tea smell in hot tropical Asian/Philippine weather was a no no. Now the rainy season has arrived will try this next week eventhough I still enjoying my fave Clinique Happy, Versace Eros and Allure homme sport.

5/10 ratings for me.

cvaile

I'd like to get some feedback from anyone who has owned original and recent versions of this. I acquired this and the Soir flanker last year.

One immediate difference in the two bottles was that Soir had a hefty metal cap, while the original had what appeared to be a metal cap but was actually plastic.

The Soir with the solid cap was everything I expected it to be - the original with the cheap cap was barely detectable at all, and what I could smell was the definitive "screechy mess" - dusty, minimally botanical, with no appeal whatsoever.

My question is - did my favorite shop, from which I've never had any problem as far as authenticity of my purchases - somehow pass on an imitation to me with the original, or have they reformulated the original in recent releases to a cheaper formula with a cheaper cap?

Have any of you bought a recent batch of this that still came with a hefty metal cap?

cucuneurus

My first review ever here. It had to be for my signature and all-time favourite fragrance.
I've owned a considerable number and variety of fragrances, ranging from old-school to more contemporary ones. Bvlgari Pour Homme was the one that got me into the collecting game. Since I first put my nose on it 19 years ago, I've had experiences with many of the fragrance genres available in the market, including designer and niche. So far, I haven't been able to find anything as good as this. I could mention Versace The Dreamer as my other major discovery.
There's one basic word to describe Bvlgari Pour Homme: elegant. Elegance and distinction are its man attributes. It's fresh and simple, and yet complex. It offers simplicity to the less experienced nose and enough complexity to the more trained one. It's also unique as hell. It's trasnparent, green, soft and easy to like. It's champagne, tuxedos, a white shirt with no tie.
Despite its elegant nature, it can be worn with jeans and a T-shirt easyly. It's really versatile in what refers to age, season, and wardrobe. I tend to wear this during the summer -which is the longest season where I live- and mostly during the daytime. I'm 38 and some other favourites of mine include Versace The Dreamer, Bleu de Chanel EDP, Dior Homme, Narciso Rodriguez for Him, Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nil, Dior Homme Cologne 2013, Bentley Intense, among ohers.
The new formulation LASTS AND LASTS for hours, 10+ for sure. The old formulation smells a tiny bit more natural, but lasts quite less on the skin. A timeless, classy and hard-to-label jewel.

Jeti78

One of my first colognes when I started getting into fragrances. I loved the smell. Very classy , but barely lasted 2 hours. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Alf

My favorite perfume for years! Now with these absurd reformulations turned him into an odorless water, I almost feel no fragrance in it .. Even spraying an entire bottle of it I can smell the smell he had in the past. Now it smells of nothing

I am very sad, because none of my favorite perfumes have the lovely smell they once had. A feather

Crowleysviles

One of my all time favorites. Jacques Cavallier is my favorite.

Bvlgari pour Homme, composed by Jacques Cavellier and released in 1996, is an aromatic citrus fragrance, underpinned by musk. Bvlgari has since added two fragrances to this range - Extreme and Soir. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful collection of masculine fragrances by Bvlgari, and each one is a play on tea. Bvlgari's romance with tea in perfumes begins with the now iconic Bvlgari Au Parfumee The Vert, composed by J.C. Ellena in 1992. Since then, tea has been a signature note for this brand, incorporated successfully in many compositions in the 90s and early 2000s.

Bvlgari pour Homme begins with a subdued bergamot, with hints of florals and other citruses. Very soon the tea note comes to the fore, abstract yet very reminiscent, and alternating between leafy green and smoky black. The florals harmonise the tea note, and a smooth, soft musk note is the string that binds lightly all the elements together. This is the fresh musk I appreciate: clean, soft, very slightly sweet, yet far removed from any laundry detergent association. The musk is dealt with a light hand so as not to overwhelm. The tea-musk accord is the centrepiece of the composition, and dominates from start to finish, from a refreshing opening to a comforting dry down.

Bvlgari pour Homme is very muted on my skin, though duration is about adequate from a generous application. I am partial to the Extreme flanker which is stronger, greener, and has a faint zing of ginger. While pour Homme doesn't work for me, this is recommended to anyone looking for a fresh, balanced tea scent that is soft and discreet.

It's subtle, classic and chic.
Green tea notes, with citrusy vibe. I'm pretty sure I smelt this one before and really liked, but never thought it was a Bvlgari classic fragrance.
I read a lot about poor performance, but at least on my skin I had a satisfactory performance.
I don't care about extreme projection or 12 hours+ performance, I'm more concerned about the scent, and this one smells really good.
Now I found a daily "clean" casual fragrance!
It was a blind buy, and I'm happy with it.
P.S: this fragrance is from 1996, although being a 21 years aged Fragrance I'm 20 and In my opinion fits me well.

LayneDad

Didn't like this but it was a present from ex, so had to wear it. Heavy bottle, but smelled like alcohol with water and some lemon or sour citrus fruit-scented musky liquid with poor longevity and projection. I didn't miss it one single time when it was all gone. Too strong on initial spray, then dies a natural death in an hour, to a skin scent.

Longevity: 6/10
Silage: 6/10

Not a fan...
Smells like if you woke up at around 5 am in the woods covered in morning dew and a face full of moss on a tree base.

This is nice fragrance but I believe it has been Reformulated as it is not like I remember it. I use to own a bottle of this is in early 00s and I remember it been more bright and with a prominent Tea note.

The new one, I barely smell any tea or citrus, all I smell is musk. shame.

mauriciolacruz

So generic and so weak! You have to spray 10 times to start smelling something and when getting something this is extremely weak!

Besides, I did expect the cap to be metal (like the same bottle design for women), but it is bad quality chromed light weight plastic!

The scent is ok, but so generic, nothing special.

Considering all factors, this scent does NOT worth the purchase.

Hollie

I found a 1oz bottle of this on clearance for $9.99 last night at Ross and had to grab it. My intention was to give it to my hubby because he's been a little sad lately that his beloved Bvlgari Black is almost gone. Total blind buy....I had no idea what this one would smell like but the price was awesome enough to take a chance. When I got to my car, I sprayed a bit in the air and I was pleasantly surprised...nothing remotely like Black, of course and actually quite the contrary. Pour Homme, to me, comes across as a soft and ethereal musk paired with vetiver, a slice of lime and gentle puffs of soft aldehydes...and that's pretty much it. There are a myriad of notes listed here and I'm a little surprised because although I'm really enjoying this ( on myself!!!...I may not share with hubby after all!) I don't find it complicated...it's rather simple in a clean, light and inoffensive manner. That's not to say it's boring though....I find it unique for some reason but can't yet put my finger on it. It could almost be something from the Philosophy ( Grace + Vetiver) or Clean line...but with a grown-up,Bvlgari twist. Although I'm satisfied and enjoying the soft, gentle wafts of musky vetiver, I think I would have enjoyed the listed notes of Tea and Amber and Tonka as well yet my skin is not projecting those favorite notes of mine. There are only a few, targeted mens' fragrances that I really enjoy wearing on my lady skin (Obsession and Passion being a couple of them) and I think this is becoming one them which surprises me because it's obviously not anything like either of those. I wish it had a bit more sillage...it's SO soft...but really, that is my only complaint.

stevestyle

This smells exactley like gendarme gendarme, identicle. Just not as strong

Ovaltine Jenkins

I don't find any "wow" in this, but it is a year round, any age, office or casual crowd pleaser. Lasts a long time but stays close to the skin. Although tea is listed as the most prominent note in the survey above, the tea note here is very light and blends in with a lot of the other notes. It does not compare to other scents with strong tea notes like L'Artisan Tea for Two or Gucci Pour Homme II. But it is still enjoyable.

Arisdoangajah

Very nice parfume for day, soft and masculin

Wandering through a local perfume sale after work about a hour ago, I casually sprayed this on a card and moved on. Seconds later, a massive hit of vetiver stopped me in my tracks and I stood with my nose glued to the card for about two minutes, inhaling the scent. I put it in my pocket, kept on and about twenty minutes later gave it another sniff. Lavender, spice, tonka and still that vetiver (listed as a basenote but it's pure vetiver in the opening, if you ask me). I understand the reference to Fahrenheit that Morkant mentions, is it the combination of lavender and spice? Tempted to go back tomorrow; definitely worth a second look and a try on skin this time.

morkant

The fact that it's understated and polite doesn't make it any less wonderful. All the other tea scents I've tried miss the mark completely by being too sweet or not actually smelling like tea at all, but Pour Homme's tea is potent, realistic and tannic.
Besides a big, radiant tea accord bolstered by musks and aldehydes (yay for obvious aldehydes in mens scents!) I admit there are few individual notes I can discern, the composition is seamless and definitely adds up to more than the sum of its parts. Sometimes the aloof and brainy-feeling mix of masculine florals present in the background remind me of Fahrenheit.

I think this scent is actually very sly in the sense that you notice it when it goes away more than when it appears. It creates an impression but flies under the radar.

honeybeecruz

I got this in Japan and I fell in love with it. Nice, clean scent. Perfect for laid back summer days while strolling along the beach.

I have this fragnance with batch code for 2010 and i think this is so horrible, the opening and drydown were awful, nothing special at all. i smelled only for woodsy fresh ozonic and little bit sweet. The performance too are below average, sillage only project for arm length and longevity only stand for couple hours before turning skin scent.i dont know why this fragnance have 4 score.

Scent : 4/10
Sillage : 5/10
Longevity : 5/10

nismo_86

I have this.. But the Pour Homme is written in italic.. Is it legit bottle? Smell is wonderful, strong longevity but lack of sillage..

joni_chipaz

Bulgari Pour Homme has so much more depth than it often gets credit for. It's taken me a full 15 years to fully appreciate it. Hundreds, possibly thousands of scents later, I understand how amazingly well constructed and unique it is.

Starting with a pointed but translucent whipcrack of citrus, tea and (primarily) pepper, it quickly morphs into something softer - particularly the watery muguet and grey/white musk scent enter the scene. The citrus moves the background and eventually fades entirely. We're now in an amazing, soft floral/pepper/musk accord - offset with just right dose of tannic black tea bitterness (almost the exact smell of slightly overbrewed black tea) to offset that softness and keep things from getting too watery.

This accord is just perfect. Elegant. Masculine. Beautiful and soft - but at the same time bone dry. Tender and austere.

The problem with reviewing Bulgari Pour Homme is that it's so hard to articulate what makes it unique and special by describing the notes. It's hard not to make it sound like a slightly peppery aquatic. It is SO not that. Someone else called it a "unicorn" of a scent, and that's absolutely right.

You just need to smell it. I'm convinced this is one of the true masterpieces of modern perfumery.

Oh, and I get all-day longevity from 4-5 sprays - but it does wear close to the skin. Which is fine. This scent doesn't want or need to be loud.

nima_dolati

Have you ever mix pour homme extreme with soir ? I did it and the result was perfect. Do it bvlgari !

Martin__

Haven't owned a bottle of this fragrance, untill today....

3-4 years ago I bought blind the Extrême version. That particular bottle was produced in 2008 and I thought that was the vintage bottle. It wasn't. Ok, enough of that offtopic.

Pour Homme is a subtle, delicate green tea infused with flowers and a little pinch of spices, which dries down to musky and woody aroma with green tea playing around.

Longevity is surprisingly good, it stays on me over 8 hours but the projection is none. Which makes it perfect to wear formally in the office, dressed in a suit and a tie.

Now, the difference between vintage bottle and the current formula. It's easy to recognize and distinguish one from the other.

Both vintage, Pour Homme and Pour Homme Êxtreme have their names written in italics. Newer versions have names written in capital letters.

I finally can say that that is the one, that I've always missed in my wardrobe.

dmetzger

This is such an underrated gem. A contemplative sit on a stone bench in the morning dampness of an ancient tree and moss covered garden on the forst edge, outside a distillery. It is the definition of a "green" scent and the performance is top notch.

I have had a bottle for many years and it still performa just as well today as it did when I bought it.

Simply beautiful and grassy and robust.

no-fi

Another Cavallier masterpiece. Bvlgari Pour Homme takes everything that's great about his blockbuster L'eau D'Issey - released two years earlier in '94 - and gets rid of the aquatic notes in favour of a beautiful floral heart. The result is a fresh, spicy, well-rounded scent with a superb incensey dry down. Performance is excellent.

What I like most about this scent, however, is intensely personal to me. BPH straddles the divide between the two fragrances that drew me into perfumes in the first place; L'eau D'Issey was my first love and my signature for five years, while Bvlgari Aqva was the scent that sent me delving deeper into perfumery. BPH nods to both - it comes from the same nose, and was released between them chronologically. But most importantly, BPH makes me feel the same way those scents do - vital, assured, masculine, empathetic.

This is one of JC's best, and a classic scent all round. A must-have for '90s fragheads.

gypsy parfumista

There are some scents you get, experience and can't wait to review, to gush words of praise and tell the world from the rooftops. When I first encountered BPH, it was almost a decade after its release (2006) and I bought it scent unsniffed, from an online retailer after reading the reviews of Fragranticans far wiser and experienced than myself. It was an obviously well-made woody floral musk fragrance: clean and fresh without the tsunami of calone most newer men's scents of that era contained. Flowers musk and woods are deftly entwined, without too much sweetness or spice, and only enough citrus to tease out the freshness of the prevailing tea accord.

A slightly above average cologne with decent longevity and respectable projection, this found itself filed in the BVLGARI row of the designer shelf of my armoire after a few wearings and though it was solid...it failed to wow me. Had I reviewed this in my earlier reviews, I daresay I would have "sold it short"; mostly because I have an entirely new outlook on this scent, perfumer and house.

A prelude of freshness results from a cacophony of notes Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud has soothed to an harmonious choir of soft whispers, wafting as fresh as a breeze. Aldehydes add an airiness (as opposed to an expanding sparkle) while orange and bergamot add the needed citricity (and not a drop more) to attenuate the tea and petit grain; as they perfectly dissolve into leaf-tinged powdery floral notes of lavender and neroli closing a veritable perfect circle of clean, sans any of the usual soapy associations. BPH's aura of pristine masculinity makes it an utterly versatile scent choice suitable for the office, school, casual gatherings or a first date.

The floral choir in the heart (cyclamen, geranium and carnation led by iris) continues the floral theme of the opening lavender and develops it, making it deeper (not louder) and at the same time smoother with rosewood and guaiac. Cardamom (warm green sharp) pepper (piquant and sharp) and coriander (cool & leafy but bitter) are, like most notes in Msr. Cavallier-Belletrud's works especially for this House, imperceptible as individuals yet their additions are what makes this a flawless silk and velvet tapestry, as opposed to a flashy silk screen on simple material. The weaving of the aromatic threads and olfactive colors "just so" truly makes BPH more than the sum of the parts.

In the far drydown, the core of musk and cedar glows as it serves as a balancing point for the sweetness of amber (translucent amber is listed on Bvlgari's site) and *one single small?* tonka bean, against the dynamic duo of vetiver and oak moss while they hint at a hidden wildness underneath it all. BPH is a rather charming and very polite rascal beneath those starched collars and pressed trousers. Despite the fact this may seem cool or even aloof should not give you pause. Everyone needs a nice pressed neutral button-down shirt, that you can use with any outfit or situation. This is "that" shirt in a bottle-complete with mother-of-pearl buttons and hand sewn silk thread seams. Bravo!!

Sillage: moderate to very good
Longevity: above average (7-12 hours)
Overall: 4.25/5

Now BVLGARI's perfume catalog numbers upwards of seventy fragrances; but, when BVLGARI POUR HOMME hit the market, in 1996, there were only two! (EAU PARFUMEE AU THE VERTE '92 and BVLGARI POUR FEMME '94) Later that year another *new* favorite of mine was released: EAU PARFUMEE AU THE VERT EXTREME-nosed by Jean-Claude Ellena.

Currently BPH is still available at several online retailers (some for as little as .50/ml!) and remains a fixture worldwide at high-end fragrance counters and flagship stores. BVLGARI POUR HOMME seems to "play well with others" while offering year-round versatility, excellent quality-to-price ratio (or QPR) and sheer stunningness.

I, therefore, dub BVLGARI POUR HOMME a Modern Masterpiece. Not only for how it has stayed the course over the last two decades, defining and setting the bar for men's elegance and style; but also for its uniqueness, considering its time and contemporaries, and subtle balance of softspoken luxury with graceful sensibility.

Rahul_ironheart

One of the best dry down. Not a big fan of the opening notes, if you smelled it very close to your nose. But give it some time and let it evolve from your skin and then see the magic.Classy scent and lasts on you for a long time. Signature scent worthy.

Rating: 9.5/10 ( No full 10 because the opening is meh, but don't judge it too quickly. It will evolve as a beautiful scent)

Hands down!

shavenonthedarkside

I think the oakmoss is very evident. Therefore, if you like oakmoss and you do not want something that smells too dated, this is for you. It is strong and long lasting on my skin. YMMV- your mileage my vary.

It is quality juice. It is also musky in a manly way. I am not a fan of strong oakmoss, so this is not for me.

However, it is a good buy if you want a mature, oakmoss, musky, professional, universal, and long lasting smell.

As a quality scent 8/10

Because I do not like very evident oakmoss (smell to my taste in notes) 6/10

This fragrance fits perfectly well for people that lives in a very humid/hot climate conditions, as I do. Although it has a very fresh, crisp and energetic vibe to it, it also develops in a pretty good way on my skin, lingering for many hours. A compliment getter, indeed. Can be worn both by men and women. Very solid fragrance for summer, it's a staple on my small and humble collection. Outstanding!

Vegas Pauli

Very mild gentleman's scent with a very evident tea note. This came out when tea in cologne was all the rage, so maybe its a bit dated now. Still, its nice, refined and conservative but I have one issue with it. There is a very faint smokey note in it that's off putting. I'm not against a smokey element in a man's cologne per se, but this smells like grilled hamburger. Its very subtle, but its there from the opening until the dry down. Just cant get past it.

oman1234

Not strong enough for me to be honest I can barely smell it on me throughout the day ! Again , maybe its just me that I am used to strong stuff ! I have it on me this morning and it is okay not a wooow but it is fine ! I think its one of these frags that you would have to mix wih another perfume for a better projection.

mutatismutandis

This one has grown on me. It's like Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir but the Soir is better. I don't care for the opening twenty minutes or so of Pour Homme but it settles down quite nicely. It's one for the office or something serious, not one for play or romance (unless your other half particularly likes it, of course). Pour Homme settles into a rather nice woody scent with amber and some green notes. I don't get a lot of the floral notes that are mentioned but I do get all sorts of smells including tea, aldehydes, various citrus notes (very gentle) and vetiver and tonka bean at various points. It's very fresh and clean and masculine. I think it's discreet and has a certain class and style about it but I don't see how you could fall in love with it. It smells very natural and quietly elegant. I find it's a skin scent unless you go a bit crazy with it. However, I think it's brother Pour Homme Soir is much nicer.

drawdeux

One of the favorites i had way back. Balanced blend of vetiver, pepper, tea & other notes giving it refinement. Longevity is long lasting, projection is good. But it gives a mature, formal vibe. It didint gave me much compliments. Definitely not for date & clubbing. More of a professional out in the field vibe for me. Great for summer. Fresh & spicy. I would like to get the extreme version but there are better versatile fragrances. Dont get me wrong. This is safe for blind buy especially if you like vetiver. But it lacks warmth for me.

bronstein

Cheap woody stuff that vanishes quickly.

Scent: 9
Sillage: 6
Longevity: 7.5

Pros
- Gentle, elegant, sophisticated scent that is perfect for any occasion.
- Opens with an explosive tea note, which dies down and blends with a large array of woody, aromatic, spicy notes
- Versatile, I can use this for any season, during the night or day, however I do prefer using it on summer or spring mornings
- It lasts for a fairly good amount of time, 6 - 7 hours on my skin.

Cons
- It doesn't project as much as I would like, it projects for about 3 hours and sticks to my skin

Final Verdict
A unique, gentle, elegant, sophisticated scent crafted from a wide array of notes that work in harmony in order to craft a summer/spring masterpiece. It can be used in any situation however there is room for projection improvement.

I have both Bvlgari Pour Homme and Pour Homme Extreme, I am comparing the smell of each other, Bvlgari Pour Homme I think has a darker smell than extreme, extreme has more grapefruit at it at the first couple of minutes, which I love, Pour Homme is like have a small amount of Grapefruit at the first spray but the tea is in the top I think, I love Pour Homme and Extreme. This are my best morning fragrance. I love Bvlgari, this is the best. Sillage and longevity are great on my skin. Pour Homme sits close to the skin they say but for me it projects like 2 inch away, I love it. I've got many compliments with this fragrance so this is my fragrance to kill when it comes to daytime.

Allen-at-home

I like tea scents, so I thought I’d like Bvlgari Pour Homme. I applied on my hand (as I usually do), and it was so weak I applied more. Barely there, I decided to use the rest of the sample vial, and wow, the amount of alcohol surprised me. (Could this sample be bad?) The vague, light fragrance that I can barely smell isn’t bad, just very weak. No wonder not too many people talk about this anymore, what a disappointment. Bvlgari Aqua (or Aqva) is a much better choice. And so is Amara, although a bit boring. But the best Bvlgari I’ve worn is The Rouge, so powerful, so bold! The Rouge is light years away from the pathetic Pour Homme.

tasosdio

This perfume is a must for summer mornings. Being a greek it reminds me of summer vacations on an island of the Aegean! Apart from the intense mandarin, nutmeg and tea top notes I would like to add a very elegant mastic note that becomes sweeter during the middles. This particular attribute made me love this perfume from the first spray.

Lastly, I would like to mention its longetivity. I sprayed twice before going to work, I returned home, went to the gym, then returned and I could still sense this beautiful fragrance on my neck. The next morning I could still sense it! overall 8/10 and an easy 9/10 for summer mornings.

gedlive

This is becomming one of my favorite go to frags in Spring and Summer.

When I first got it it didn't wow me, I didn't appreciate how well the aldehyde notes are done that brighten and help freshen the composition.

This is a light unique fougere that still has a lot of substance. The unique piquant note is the tea, as Jacques Cavallier's compositions all seem to have that one distinct note.

Tea, nice subtle floral notes, fresh spices, and some woody ambery depth. It reminds me of Rive Gauche in genre, but more complexity. It seems I discover a new one of the many notes and nuances of this fragrance each time I wear it.

If it had a little better potency/ longevity, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a niche fragrance because of the quality of notes and composition.

Truly a great classic fougere.
Fresh and aromatic.

What a MASTERPIECE, Bvlgari Pour Homme you are a beauty, this is real cologne for real professionals who enjoy life but keep business as business, who does not need to prove anything to anyone. Amazing, elegant, fun, full of life. It is for the guy that no one dare to mess with, but smell is pleasing fresh, and inviting. Bvlgari Pour Homme is for winners.

Classic!
The ingredients are absolutely in line.
Clearly masculine scent yet delicate, herbal character ...
Recommended for any occasion, it is completely universal.
If it gets lost between the current scents, then back to the "roots"!
This fragrance is still one of the best in the men's scents!
Spring is the best one possible to achieve maximum effect .....
Quality: 100% Bvlgari!
Congratulations !!!

Bvlgari Pour Homme smells like a fresher, greener version of Lalique's Encre Noir.

Green notes, led by green tea, & woody notes, led by patchouli, collide in Bvlgari Pour Homme to produce a relaxing, mature smell.

The downside is that at the end of the dry down the smell becomes sharp & harsh.

BeeZo875

This has been my signature spring/summer scent since 2003.. I have a lot of summer frag's and none of them garner the amount of compliments and inquisitions as Bvlgari Pour Homme. A definite lady killer, at least for me it is. This classic distinct masterpiece will always be in my collection. And it's super affordable. Two thumbs up!

MSL

Grass mixed leaf. A very natural one. Discreet, subtle, nice, elegant, distinctive. A bit weaker than 'Bvlgari Extrême'. *Virtually identical*. The 'Extrême' has more-more longevity & projection, however.

BVLGARI Pour Homme

Its a charmer from go to woe.

From initial first spray and right the way through, its so easy to wear. It is a scent that is relaxing, calming and smooth.

Its a guaranteed mood lifter that projects arms length throughout the day with above average longevity.

One of my most used, so its a thumbs up for Bph.

Let me describe this perfume in ONE word : SUPERB!!!
So far, I have used 2 bottles and I don't mind continuing.

Longevity: 8/10
Projection: 8/10
Sillage: 8/10

This is basically what I want every man to smell like: strong, sensual, but still warm and comforting. Every time I smell this on someone, I just want to get closer to them, and maybe bury my nose in their neck for a little while.

I know this fragrance is near 20 years old now, but after all this time, it still drives me crazy.

Houdini4

Surprising that I'd never tired this one until now because it's not that I have anything against this house. Bvlgari scents are usually well put together, however not one appeals to me, except for black perhaps and maybe some like this, that I haven't tried yet.

I actually saw it in my friends bathroom and when I had a spray was pleasantly surprised.

Pour Homme is instantly a very pleasing fresh musky citrus and aldehydes, then a growing tea which is the theme of the perfume. Nothing not to like here infact I think it's excellent in many ways a sweet yet ever so slightly dry, woody composition which many will enjoy. There is something slightly floral in there too which keeps it upbeat.
Average longevity and projection and not once does this feel cheap.
I'm a fan truly a great fragrance.

Reese1861

This smells so clean and fresh. I love it.

neo_xx

I would say it is a Tea sprinkled with light peppers, complemented by musk and floral notes.

actually it is comforting scent with its own character. I can say it is classy actually .

has very good longevity , as for projection it is average . in fact it sits close to skin after the first hour.

I would give it 8 out of 10 .

it smells good and different , you should try it .

Chicago Tony T

I agree that it's a very long lasting scent with above average silage. It's kinda hard to overspray it as I usually give it 6 squirts. This and Chanel Allure were my go to scents when I first really got into fragrances. BPH does have a calming effect and is a very comforting scent. Very fresh and floral and excellent for spring/summer. As I said it's one of my 1st loves and I have been through 3 bottles.

samientor

Genuine smell "zen". None too sound, none too sophisticated. Simple, contemplation, intimate. Calming beauty in small bottle. Care - highly addictive. can be boring for some guys loving loud applauses.

Puds1970

Received and tried this yesterday. Have to admit I didn't care for the opening. It's tea, Floral and damp earth to my nose. But after 3-4 hours it settles down to a unique florals note.
Not a great projector and IMO one that you personally are going to enjoy and not the people around you.

balkantraveler

One of my closest friends from college gave this to me as a birthday gift many years ago, and I still have it. The alcohol is pungent when I first spray this on, and it starts off with a generic "perfume smell", but it quickly settles in to a fresh, green, woody fragrance. Usually I associate "woody", with a deeper, winter-type fragrance, but this is a good fresh fragrance even in hot weather.

mcaldow

Absolutely fantastic, has character and is unique, for me at least. Very well done fragrance, definitely worth buying and trying!!

umer ch

Unique.. Sexy.. Attractive..
My most favourite of all.

AlaskaWomanTwo

I gave this to my husband to try. It was amazing on him, subtle but long lasting. It was very sexy but you had to be close...

Since he died, I sometimes spray it on pillows on his side of the bed. It's not as good as it was when mixed with his personal scents, but it's still very nice. I would wear it myself, except it doesn't care for my skin, so it gives me hives. This is the original pour Homme, not, as others have said, any of the other formulations.

The shampoo/shower gel has the same base notes, and that I could use, but cannot find it anymore.

This is not the scent for someone on the hunt, but for those who wish to leave their lovers with a scent that cannot be forgotten, try this...

ThiagoRRGomes

One of the best colognes the exist!
Rich, intense, great!
Stays on for hours! People usually ask me what I am wearing when I have it on.
For those who still haven´t tried it, I do suggest to do so!
One of my top 3, for sure!
Only Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme beats it!

OdeKlotyo

The notion that this is weak, lacks tenacity etc. is simply wrong. Anyway, ask those around you and blame musk anosmia.
Even with moderate spraying, it pulsates on me through entire day, I can clearly catch whiffs of this blissful scent.
The star here is a great dry, yet warm, vegetal musk, supported by bergamot, tea, pepper and iris.

This, on the right man, is THE most exquisite scent I have ever had the pleasure to experience. It is definitely for the refined, the elegant, the true gentleman.

If my love is gone too long, I spray it on my clothing to feel nearer to him. I've gotten compliments on it myself.

Make sure to try the Homme, not Extreme, Soir, or any other. Some salespeople confuse them, it is easy to do.

Do enjoy.

A lot of reviewers said that this scent was "polite", that it was for the polite man, the well mannered and reserved man and that is what interested in this fragrance because I am that kind of man.
When my sister sniffed this on my wrist she didn't want to let go. She said it was interesting and that she never smelled anything like it before.
For me the initial spray kind of reminded me of Sprite. A couple of hours into it and I felt like I sprayed soda on my wrist.
I really wanted to like this and from all the reviews I was hoping that maybe I had just found my signature scent but alas it just didn't do anything for me and I'm still left signature-less.

Seanery

I like this scent a lot but it doesn's seem like a scent that I would want to make a statement with. This seems like an 'everyday wear' perfume because it isn't loud or sharp but more constant and soothing.

I was reading some of the reviews before mine and It seems that for the wearer, it isn't really that noticable but that for people near the wearer, it is more noticable.

This is a pleasant perfume that isn't a blaze of fire that lives for a moment, but more like a slow burning bed of embers that burns and lasts through the night.

Lom

The best way to appreciate this fragrance is to live with someone who wears it. It might seem soft for the user, but not for his lover. I used to date a guy that was wearing it, and I actually thought it's his natural body smell, and loved it. It's elegant, sexy and reassuring.
Now it's time for me to be the wearer of it.

stromboli77

Solid scent. The composure of it as one reviewer said is unmatched by any other fragrance. Its not flashy but its still seductive. Its very light yet innocently heavy at the same time. Its not loud but it will sneak up on you. Starts off with the trademark bvlgari tea note mixed with a light smooth orange grind accord along with some other florals which ultimately warms down into a light aromatic and slightly woody and musky base. What makes this really shine is that the musk is a bit laid back. Not to much in your face which compliments the floral notes perfectly. The tea and citrus still stick around along with a light woody base to round out an absolute perfect fragrance. This garners a lot of compliments....trust me. The tea note in this is amazing because it literally gives off that soothing and calming effect that I was talking about. A very classy and invigorating fragrance.

Goktug

This is very elegant gentlemen fragrance, must have one at least !

ronnyeitan

Its a nice fragrance, thats light and very unique.
I say this works very well.

bizz1001

You can be rest assured that if you had a Bvlgari Pour Homme in near or distant future you will buy it again.. Maybe you didn'l like his sillage, maybe you hated that it lasts too short(so does life)?? It is too late for you-HE is in your mind.. I'm convinced when a certain singer wrote:"Dark eyes and careless hair, You were fashionably sensitive
But too cool to care."-her man was wearing Bvlgari..

haasemanzi

Do not be fooled by the term "extreme", pour homme is better in every way ...

Redbeard

This is the most contemporary professional scent I've encountered so far, with an elusiveness that fascinates me. The last few times I had to wear a suit (which are few and far between!) I felt obligated to wear Bulgari Pour Homme because to me it smells like the Platonic ideal of an expensive, flawlessly tailored and pressed suit. Or maybe the idealized smell of freshly laundered linens at the most expensive hotel in the city, the very first time you walk in the door to your room. The best I can come up with is that it's a moderately sweet, but clean, grayish fabricky musk that is hard to detect when you're searching for it, but always transparently there in the background. I don't know about tea, and if there is pepper in there, I don't really even notice it. Very classy overall, and quite safe in that it wouldn't offend, though perhaps tricky in that I suspect it smells stronger than the wearer is aware of. The bottle and box are both very fitting...gray, transparent and simple with silver accents. It's really a steal at the prices you can get it for online.

halalula1234

I had it.
It was given to me half full by my uncle..
To me its quite light, soft, clean and generic...I didn't personally get the "wow" factor from it...SO it didnt really stand out to me.

Over its a pleasant scent for night time and spring times.

very fresh woody

i can't say enough about this cologne- maybe best from bvlgari but i shall add this to the review- you get sick of it after time.

I like original Bvlgari Pour Homme. However it's not my favourite one from the "Pour Homme" line.

This one is lighter, more floral and less citrusy than Extreme on my skin. It seems to stick closer to skin and projects worse. That's why it's a perfect choice for office scent. The green tea is very prominent here - I get the same feeling known from the Extreme version. It also is, somehow, less sweet than Extreme on my skin.

It works well in warm and hot temperature on me. So, it's a spring and summer fragrance, I'd say.

I appreciate it as a "parent" fragrance for whole Pour Homme "family. But I like Extreme more.

kanak

a very refined, classy fragrance. a very formal scent in my opinion, i use it on days when i have important business meetings where you want to smell good without charging up other peoples noses!! smells good effortlessly and lasts a long time without screaming hey look at me, instead says they know who you are...Black, BLV, and this are my favorites from the bvlgari line. aqua and aqua marine are more for casual wear in my opinion and besides every other person i know is wearing aqua.. Bvlgari PH has moderate sillage and projection, good longevity. excellent perfume. 9/10

kazewayz

This is probably if not my favorite from the house of Bvlgari, simply because it lasts a LONG time. Initial spray woody, green, fresh, spicy, citrusy. Dry down is musky and that's fine with me. Elegant scent, good for summer time (night time) or even office use. Projects outstanding. Try it.

lumberjack

Elegance = Bvlgari Pour Homme. Wear it and watch how your soul dancing...

robertodoi

Unfortunately I regretted buying it (blind)because it's very synthetic i.m.o. It reminds me some chemical factories, it´s very strange. I did not feel the scent of tea at the beginning as many have described. The base notes almost do not change.

Jun0711

This is good cologne for office, also this is good for casual wear in summer season

BabyD

I like how it smell on my hubby. Well, i gave it to him, of course i do, heh. I guess it good smell for men older then 30. It give me calm and comfort feelings, nice. Not strong and disgusting, so soft as i like.
I see in this tea, bergamot, mandarin, lavender, iris, moss, cedar.
On hair stay all day, but for smell it need come really close. I guess this good smell for working and for relaxing time. In my taste...

tolgaselcuk

delicate,polite,clean..elegance...
definetely feels so classy, rich, charismatic, fresh four season...

a very pleasant scent...

I guess its my fav fragrance..

sherapop

What a baffling composition. I am told that twenty-three notes are present. Of course, we all know that notes are mere metaphors, but in the extremely bizarre case of BVLGARI POUR HOMME, the metaphors clash head-on with my experience.

Aldehydes? Certainly not. Bergamot, well, okay, yes, I suppose, since it is present in 33% of all perfumes. Maybe I can conceive of this as a tea scent. But the rest? They may as well say that this perfume contains unicorns and elves, since I smell them just about as well!

None of this is to say that there is anything essentially wrong with BVLGARI POUR HOMME. It's nice. It's light. It's polite. It's clean and keen. It's the perfect scent for the twenty-first-century open-cubicle office. Indeed: it smells to me rather like just pressed and starched long-sleeved cotton Oxford shirts complete with linked cuffs and button-down collars!

HORRIDFRAG

Bvlgari Pour Homme...

Like many other Bvlgari fragrances, this is undeniably subtle, beautifully made with the signature tea note. Or perhaps, it is way too subtle, making this lovely edt appear 'mute' and barely detectable. Or, it could possibly be way too subtle 'only' to those who enjoy fragrances like Dior Fahrenheit, PR Black XS, Armani Attitude, TM A*Men, YSL Kouros, or Polo Black, simply because their olfactory sense has become accustomed to strong smelling fragrances with massive projection. Therefore, Bvlgari Pour Homme is just too delicate and too reserve, as the notes are all 'polite' and just 'too shy' to be in the crowd.

Well, honestly this is a nice smelling fragrance with a good lasting power and moderate silage. It starts with a lovely tea note, along with the other florals, later it develops into a faint musky green floral scent. It is quite terapheutic, and soothing, therefore it gives the idea of a charming gentleman, wise, very much reserved and doesnt like to have all the attention, yet worth everything in the world should a woman is sensitive enough to detect his presence.

(I think Aqua is the strongest scent from the house of Bvlgari, great longevity and silage, with sharp citrus marine scent and zesty marine freshness)

92dfx

The initial spray of this scent was amazing. It had a sweet, but musky quality to it with a bit of spice if you lingered long enough. However, though I enjoyed these qualities, the masculine notes faded very quickly leaving a powdery, floral impression. It smells very nice, beautiful and delicate, but I'm not sure if it's particularly well-suited for men. Damn shame because that initial spray had me convinced I had found my signature scent.

UPDATE:
I wore this scent to work and had a one of my female co-workers give me her opinion on it. She said that it was a very nice scent that smelled similar to scented baby powder. She said that it struck her as a perfume a woman would wear, particularly cause of the delicate floral notes.

leevike

i got it for my man for christmas...all i can say-miau...delicious...

instantjim

I reviewed this fragrance some time ago and thought I would 'revisit' it. To me this smells like spray starch and I now know that it is the aldehydes I am smelling. It is hard to get a lot else out of this. It is slightly sharp, slightly green, but really smells like half a perfume. I currently am drinking a glass of soda water with lime cordial added to it. Take away the lime cordial and the soda water is pretty uninteresting, but with the cordial it creates a synergy. Bulgari pour Homme is like the Soda water by itself, with a few more notes added to it, it could be delicious. To me this is too minimalistic. Yes, I realise there are other notes, but they are so faint, they barely register. Perhaps layering it with some other cologne might help.

teazer

I just got it today. Didn't smell it before I ordered it, so it was a blindbuy.
It was about 20€ for 30ml, good pricing I think. I am overwhelmed by the smell of this fragrance. I never smelled something like that before. It starts sweet and grass like, settles a little muskier but still maintains the freshness. I like it very much and it lasts quite long. Awesome Frag. An instant classic for me.

markushhamann

I remember wearing this while in college. I tried to spray a great deal in a vain attempt to get some of the scent to stay. Although I very much like the initial scent, it vanishes almost as quickly as it is sprayed on.

justady2002

PERFECT !!!

douxe

every guy in this world should wear this perfume. this gets me every time

Smyle12

Sprayed it on a test strip and could barely even detect it. Weak.

GoodVibrations

Splendid, charming, and real. Just amazing.

Migalex

Very green and flat. I do not grasp its charm, which for me is none. Zero projection and poor staying power. Similar to extreme in fact, but weaker.

bsbnsc

whenever I wear grey (t-shirt, suit, shirts, ect) I wear this. cuz it conjures "grey"

flyysince89

this develops into something so feminine and beautiful on me and its strange ... I love it , me and my boyfriend share a bottle and it smells different on him ! it smells like cologne on him and a beautiful light perfume on me . its amazing ! will be a rebuy for me

seyhan.hatipoglu

It"s very elegant scent ,not for too young people +28 man who is reach the somewhere and know how to take it!

Bigsly

Very nice opening but then what I think is a huge amount of iso e super takes over and I smell little else. I find it really irritating, so if you are sensitive to iso e super I suggest you sample this one before buying a bottle.

MrMookie

I got a 10 ml bottle sprayer decant and its a well rounded scent very aural not projecting
Very mild, close to skin and one of the weakest scents i ever smelled on skin And thats a shame for this greatness, isprayed 10 ml empty easily in to days because i needed to test it
In my opinion a scent should stay just a few hours to accompany you in your daily journey but this wont , i love the elegant tea notes and must say its opening is gorgeous but in 30 minutes its gone ... If you like this try lalique ence noir for better sillage and longevity .

anotae

Nice fragrance. Master piece. Well done.

word-doctor

INITIAL REIVEW: Very dry/sharp on application, but dries down with a little more warmth. Citrus and musk; some florals that are not sweet. Does not project much, does have decent longevity. I will wear this during my brief spring season when temps are in the 70s, during the day at work. My wife doesn't like this--classy, but too unisex.

EDIT. My own chemistry (uh, sweat) takes the florals off this (improvement) but I'm left with something muddled and uncertain, like good scented soap. Day/Work/Spring.

EDITX2: Has become a go-to for me, particularly when layered with Bvlgari PHSoir. I like the bitter note from the tea. Neither of these is my absolute favorite for summer, but I CAN afford them and they're classier than I am.

malecita

I love this perfume. It's very elegant, delicate and fresh smell. Kind of sexy too..it's like yummm.

micah.mcgahee

Very classy but very light scent. I can barely smell it on my skin. Anyone else have that problem? Personally, the best way that I can describe this scent is a hand-full of tea leaves. It's very light but clean. I really like it! It doesn't smell synthetic nor is it intoxicating or overpowering...I just wish I could smell it more :/

Great unique smell. Smells a bit like fabric softener, but that's not a bad thing! I love this smell so much! On my second bottle now!!!

Longevity is one of the few but constant issues with many of the Bvlgari's line of perfumes in general. However, if one is being put off only because of this I would strongly recommend Bvlgari Extreme.

You could say that Extreme is Bvlgari Pour Homme on steroids. It is the only Bvlgari that lasts 7+ hours on my skin (Pour Homme disappears after 3-4 hours similarly to Soir and Man).

Miss Dior Cherie

Boys lend me your attention please
The majority of women adore this perfume is very charming, elegant, sensual classic etc. My father has this and other more clearly and this is my favorite:)

qwerty82

Love this scent, light, fresh and great for office wear. Longevity issues with it but I rubbed some of the Bvlgari PH deodorant stick on both wrists and then sprayed the EDT which helps with longevity....try this.
Great scent that can be worn at any time of the day / year.

nePtunus

Nice 'clean' smell and masculine. This perfume suited for a man, not a grown up like I. Classic legendary fragrance!

Pour Homme was my signature for years and even now That it's not my #1 i still find most colognes pale in. Side by side comparison. Elegant & masculine the tea notes linger all the way through the musky base. Longevity is excellent but many complain b/c this cologne adjusts in your senses so you can't detect it while others around can. Perfect for office/business with it's refined aroma it also has near universal appeal to the ladies. On me I find it best in fall/winter with a suit or expensive sweater. Lasting power is 10 hrs or more (sometimes 24 under the right climatological circumstances).

My rank is 9.5 / 10

Maybe I switch back to having this in more regular rotation after this review! But it'll be hard to give up my beloved CH Chic

Tychal

I like the smell and i find it amazing that this would be the cologne to favour my body chemistry. Plenty of people have said they liked the way it smelled on me. I am trying out Salvatore Ferragamo but Bvlgari is the one i prefer

Bram

I like it a lot but the sweetness literally almost made me puke... it was probably because I was sniffin it up close on my wrist but if it was on a person passing by me and it was not over done...it can be very nice and relaxing...

twlahue

ok, you go to the store and are looking for a room freshener. you see sprays, stick-ups and carpet powder,

then you see the renuizette cones with the plastic tops that slide up and reveal that weird gel scented stuff beneath. they have raspberry, apple-cinnamon and tropical. you pick up the last one, the blue one that says "fresh linen." that is exactly what this cologne smells like. the "fresh linen" clean air freshner renuizette or glade cone.

a pleasant scent, yes, but...
not really what i am wanting to smell like

Anup

I simply love Bvlgari fragrances, especially those with the signature tea note.
I've not smelled a tea note even CLOSE to the quality of this smooth operator aside from Gucci pour homme II. Even then it's by a LONGSHOT!
I remember smelling this a few weeks ago at a local bon-ton and thinking how smooth and green this was.
Normally green fragrances come off to my nose as that standard generic woods...green...harsh bergamot ect.ect.ect. BLECH.
I'm so glad i introduced myself to this. I think i may have actually been with Grottola when i first smelled this XD.

The top:

TEA...That soft green/grey note. Almost overwhelming, entirely assertive. Smooth and bold! Powdery calming lavender and sun-kissed orange blossom add a very "springtime dreary day" feeling to the composition. Tony was correct in mentioning that this was the most pleasing bergamot in any fragrance. It's taken for granted by many houses!.
Aldehydes simulate the feeling of an open field, breezy and cloudy. Being drizzled on by the cold rain, warmed by your hot cup of tea, and your wool coat.

The heart:

There is a very dry, peppery, semi-sweetness that pervades throughout the entire piece. Do i think it's front loaded? Yes i do, but that doesn't mean that not being able to discern the heart notes is a bad thing. Not at all in my mind!
From the middle i get hints of pepper and woods, nothing stands out among the tea.

The base:

Vetiver really cleans up most of the fragrance, and kind of "sets it straight" as far as dirtiness goes. I feel like this could have came out completely dirty smelling if it weren't for a few soapiness and moisties. I'm looking at you Oakmoss, you're so weird. Sometimes you add some much needed dirtiness, and sometimes you help clean it up. There is also some woody, bonfire-esque amber sided with nutty semi-fruity tonka!
Masterpiece!

I approve

ChristopherRiley

Nice crisp smell, pleasant enough, no probs there..

Very poor projection and lasts 2-3 hours tops

Waste of money

Grottola

Bulgari Pour Homme (because everyone knows the V's are just for aesthetics)

The good:

Everything about this fragrance is good. It's pleasant, inoffensive, and most of all, proves an excellent fragrance for someone just getting into fragrances or trying to decipher the notes. Everything is right there: the tea-like bergamot note, an actual tea note, some leafy green notes, lavender, and a dark mossy note. It's quite enjoyable and very "polite". The bergamot note in the top is probably the best bergamot note I've yet to smell in any fragrance - bergamot is perhaps the most commonly used note in all of perfumery, and more often than not gets lost in composition. In Bulgari Pour Homme, it's here and clear.

The bad:

The longevity and projection, at least on me, are sub-par. I get no more than 5 hours, tops, out of Bulgari Pour Homme, before it's gone completely. While establishing itself as a skin scent plays a part in Bulgari Pour Homme's "politeness", I WANNA BE ABLE TO SMELL IT!

The ugly:

There really is nothing ugly about Bulgari Pour Homme.

Bottom line: Definitely try it. It's pleasant and essentially the fragrance that brought tea notes to masculine perfumery.

oxm

Bvlgari pour homme, now on the market a few years but always appreciated, as all products of the brand, the freshness of this fragrance is multiplied by the cube, the purity of the fragrance left on the skin by the spray until the end like a breath of wind Spring that brings with it the smell of flowers that are about to bloom, and the air is heated drying moisture of winter. The opening is crystal clear thanks to the citrus notes and then the cyclamen, spices and exotic woods in the middle, musk, vetiver and tonka bean at the bottom, make it a timeless perfume: the magic formula for walking on clouds, there is an impersonator of Bvlgari, I think it's Chapeau by Borsalino, but Bvlgari is unattainable.
Timeless.

spoombung

I've been wearing this regularly since it was introduced in '96 and still really rate it and think it's one of the best masculine fragrances.

This is a skin scent; it won't invade others personal space - and for that reason it may be too subtle for some. You can of course smell it on somebody else if you get close to them.. and the effect is rich and comforting. I can still smell the tea and dusky musk on my skin at the end of the day - and so can my partner.

Like most of the Bulgari range this is very unisex, despite being aimed at men and would smell great on a woman.

Highly recommended.

scentury

Mr.Cavalier took a page from Eau Sauvage and ran with it. Now, I am not saying that it is a copy of Dior's much beloved scent, but there are similarities between the two.
That said, BPH (Bulgari Pour Homme) is a versatile scent. It can be worn by men of any age.I've met a 30-something man and his father who is 60-something. They both wear this fragrance and it is appropriate for them. BPH is also suitable for day and evening wear. It's clean, crisp scent is pleasant and never in-your-face.Orange, bergamot and nutmeg greets the nose upon spraying.Upon drying, the scent morphs into a woody-pepper heart. The last phase features amber, musk, moss and vetiver as its base. It is long-lasting and stays close to the skin, perfect for those intimate moments.
Put on some music by Ella Fitzgerald , Johnny Mathis or Michael Buble, light some candles, wear BPH, have some wine at hand, and you'll be sure to go all the way! (Remember to put clean sheets... and put on protection, too...)

Bvlgari has a knack for making beautiful, refreshing, casual yet classy fragrances that are always sure crowd pleasers. There is so much to love when it comes to Bvlgari Pour Homme. It's not the most amazing thing you'll ever smell, yet it is undeniably charming.

Quiet yet bold enough to make a statement, Bvlgari Pour Homme is a nicely balanced blend of light citrus, musky florals and aromatic herbs. Not a spectacular scent by any means, but one that is clean and soothing.

I think a lot of men tend to go overboard with fragrances because there is so much media these days telling them that they have to smell great for the ladies. Many over-apply, wear something they don't even like or just spritz it on for the hell of it. Something like Bvlgari Pour Homme is sometimes all you need to get female attention. Smell fresh and masculine and the rest is history.

Unfortunately the projection of this fragrance is not great. It is incredibly weak and even worse on the skin. The subtlety although admirable, could do with a boost in the sillage department so both the wearer and the people around him can enjoy this fragrance through all its stages.

I'm surprised to like something so subtle, however after many partners with strong fragrances, I've been craving a man that wears lighter scents. Bvlgari Pour Homme is what I'm after.

Valentino

There is something haunting about this fragrance. It is beautiful yet melancholic. Perhaps it is the fleeting nature of those top notes. They promise so much; giving you hope and joy but then are gone so quickly! Such is the nature of aldehydes or the 'sparkle' in a classic fragrance. Here, they combine with the tea, lavender and bergamot so exquisitely, I dare say it is the one of the best openings to any perfume in the world.

Unfortunately, in spite of a list of notes as long as my arm this soon becomes an austere and lightly wooded skin-scent. That is not to say it doesn't have its place, but it seems too understated, too much the gentleman.

I would leave this one for the office crowd and choose something with more personality, although worth a try if you see it going cheap.

bob01081969

I work with and around Perfumes all day, and test each one on a daily basis, and this is one of my faves. It is a fresh smell for all day wear, and would recommend it time and time again.

I would not recommend it for a night out, as it is to light, but for all day and travel it is a pleasing scent.

dkmode83

To me smells a lot like Versaces Dreamer in the opening, Which I love. Kind of a muted fruity floral at the start waning into spices and musk. This is one of the two frags I like from Bvlgari (Black is the other). Very sophisticated and masculine fragrance in my opinion. This one has had a spot in my collection for almost 10 years now and is one I always buy more of when I run out.

Helsinki

Today, I stopped and cried in the city centrum when a beloved person had unconsciously rejected me after a long workday. I felt so sad, so empty, so alone yet I was surrounded by people. Tears rolling down my cheeks, I wandered to the perfume department in order to get a quick relief.

Knowing how captivating Bvlgari Pour Femme is, I was convinced that B Pour Homme could soothe my mind. And boy it did.

There was only one sales assistant, an old lady who had worked on the scent branch for over 30 years. I guess she couldn't see my sadness because I'd already sprayed (gotten my dose :p) and BPHomme had started to kick in. I smelled my wrist and sensed the impossibly beautiful brother of Bvlgari Pour Femme; the same elegant and uncomdemning floral flow, but only in a more masculine way.

The old lady's stories about her work with perfumes combined with the soothing effect of BPHomme alleviated my sadness and I left the building with a smile on my face. Thank you so much, you both. BPHomme can definitely easily be worn by a woman and it's ah so elegant, so polite, so beautiful... It stays close to the skin, like a secret caress that you can keep to yourself.

Rav Pahud

This one I dare say is only for the men that gonna have an intimate and adventurous night with the girl of their dreams...its soft smell and yet extremely masculine would turn on any women if she smells it in great near-proximity,she must be so close to the skin in order to smells him...its very very sensual to me...love this one so much...my girlfriend doesn't wanna let go of me...the projection is just perfect for me, and great sillage...it last few hours...thanks Bvlgari! ;p

lovescully

Of all the Bvlgari Homme frag’s this one has possibly the best actual scent with the worst possible sillage & longevity!

I absolutely adore the smell of this on my skin, clothes, and anything else it comes into contact with, but, & it’s a big but; this fragrance has absolutely no staying power!

I’ve used Bvlgari Homme shower gel, body lotion, after shave gel & the rest to try & make this heavenly scent stay on my skin; to no avail. It just doesn’t want to project or stay on my skin.

Alas, the most heavenly masculine scent that I’ve probably ever come across has absolutely no sillage or staying power. Such a crying shame!

Mushroomfat

Definitely agreeing with fingerlicker, it's extremely weak. Cannot recommend ti anyone with faith that theyll even be able to smell it. Once upon a time I loved it, the dry down us actually quite nice, but it's just do damn weak

perfumia

when my husband wears this - I just want to snuggle up close.....it is gorgeous

Vincents1278

I've owned this for a couple of years and I don't smell any wood. It's like spicy tea with waterlillies. Very nice, classy, good everyday scent. Conversely, nothing really great happening.

hotaru

it's a perfect perfume to those who live in the tropical climate; like us. this is one of my husband's favorite perfume. it lasts long enough ( 5hrs >>) and the dry down is sexy.
Bvlgari pour homme is not as 'dark' or 'bold' as Bvlgari BLV pour homme with its more oriental ambient; pour homme is more outgoing, fresh and energetic.it smells clean, neat, and simple.

Lots of persons like this scent, but I don't like it at all ,it's a sour green orange water in my opinion.
