Loved the buttery tuberose but the davana and myrrh drowned out all of the tuberose's beauty.

Clws

So many adjectives used to describe this perfume, lol. It's a smooth, easy to wear tuberose. Lots of vanilla, tuberose and a nice amount of myrrh. The top notes, tbh, wear off in seconds so they might as well not be there and to my nose anyway, add nothing, not even a bitter hit. I'm especially attuned to black current and I don't even smell it here. This gets better as it sits a few months. A designer scent without a lot of bells and whistles but really pulls its weight if you want a tuberose/vanilla with a hint of spice. Another great option in this category is Ralph Lauren Woman Intense, but it's more "white floral" than straight up tuberose.

Aeternitas

Mmm, Splendida Tubereuse Mystique.
A warm and smooth coconutty tuberose.
There is a lot of vanilla in this one, but it's not overtaking the beautiful tuberose; these two notes are holding hands and forming a divine union.
It's not foody to me, it's simply an elegant sweetness.

I am personally not picking up on any green note, such as the davana listed. Maybe it's gentle enough with the black currant to where it is hardly detectable for me.
Nothing bitter or soapy about it.
Overall, I find this to present the aura of tuberose very well, in a sensual and deep way.

Sillage is moderate, and it's long-lasting.

Edit: Oddly, the black currant reveals itself in the dry-down. The more I wear it, the more I smell it. It's adding dimension to this fragrance, and I can't get enough!

I have three samples’ worth of time to debate whether or not I will be getting a full bottle of this beauty.
So far, I'm thinking a full bottle is in order.

I have smelt only one other scent based on tuberose and I have to say this one is much better. So for me this is 80% of tuberose and 20% of something else interesting that makes the whole thing very good. I also remember that when I was in the department store and tried to sniff it from the paper first time I didn't really get what it is until I got my 2 ml decanted sample later that I used to the very end: only then I realised what it is for me.

TabledThoughts

Bought it.
Returned it.
While a decent enough perfume with good lasting power it has a strong vanillic and myrrh base that virtually drowns out a great deal of the tuberose.
For that reason it did not suit my preference.
Beautiful blue flacon.

I don't know why I'm so inlove with the splendida collection. This one does its magic on my nose, I smell something spicy but soft and delicate. It's inoffensive. On my skin, I can smell the vanilla and tuberose dancing together. I'm surprised to see that they listed the myrrh as a bottom note but I'm pretty sure I've smelt some incense notes on the first spray. I am looking forward to stock up bottles because we don't know when bvlgari changes its mind again 🥲 not gonna lie, I really hate it when they discontinue their topnotch fragrances.

Tubereuse Mystique immediately captivated me. Wow, this is so stunning, elegant, and gorgeous. Quite a different take on tuberose than I’m currently used to. I loved her so much I held off a few hours on taking my evening shower because I didn’t want to wash away the beautiful scent just yet.

The black currant is very apparent, and plays a very key role in this fragrance, so if you don’t like black currant I’d say try first. I happen to be a black currant lover. The black currant makes it juicy, while the davana balances her out, preventing her from going into bubble gum territory.

This is such an intoxicating blend. Definitely up to par in quality with Rouge Malachite, although I wouldn’t classify them as dupes. They are both uniquely stunning & dark tuberose fragrances. All tuberose lovers must try this!

Sometimes my own tastes frustrate me; I wish I didn’t fall for sweet nothings like this, and yet I do. I know that aesthetically there are better and more interesting things out there, and I often wonder if I’m trying to satisfy a sweet tooth via my nose — that’s when I usually look up and reliably find that I’ve absentmindedly wandered into a sugary territory (again), where the most important currency is charm.

Splendida Tubereuse Mystique smells like berry jam and a soapy, sugared tuberose. Bubblegum meets bubble bath. So reminiscent of powdered grape candy—I can’t believe there is no jasmine in here. The myrrh and vanilla base notes give a fantasy, smoldering Play-Doh effect, way more sweet than salty. Scents of childhood abound here, and yet somehow the overall effect is still one of silken [,sweet-toothed] sophistication. Has a powerful hide-and-seek style sillage and good longevity.

Ever trying to tease out what my relationship to the tuberose is because I want so badly to be able to pull off its sighing, eyes-half-open sensuality, when in reality I’m more of a “wearing glasses and smelling of woody violets” kind of woman.

One of the most reliable and sexy tuberose on the market.

At least 5x better than the overpriced TF and complex almost to the point of a vintage juice, just less heady and much closer to the skin.

It’s elegant, sweet and balsamic. Sensuous and delicate. A safe blind buy if you like tuberose and inedible vanilla.

To complete the whole picture, I also love their bottles.

Easy 9/10

This was a blind buy for me based on the fact that I knew it would be different than any other tuberose scent that I own. This is almost as unique as miller Harris noix de tubereuse. Bitter opening. Sharp black currant jelly combined w a tonic made w pungent herbs. It has a refreshing cleansing effect on my olfactory senses. Strange but still pleasing. As the perfume develops it becomes a bit more lactonic w ylang coconut and tuberose. There something of a latte effect here as if the davana combined w the black currant was coffee or a bitter tea and the floral notes were cream and the vanilla was sugar. The dry down has a bit of dusty and ancient myrrh to add mystery. I wish it was more pronounced but this is a mass market offering and so the composition must keep its sweetness. All and all the above accords to my nose are correct. This is a complex perfume. Very interesting while remaining familiar and wearable for everyday.

WhiteFlowerPrincess

Splendida Tubereuse Mystique by Bvlgari is a nice perfume, but I only like it and I don't love it. It's someyhing I would use if someone bought it for me but not something that I would buy for myself personally.

I like the black currant in this perfume at the beginning, but the davana in this was too sharp and bitter and something that I could have done without. It was probably my least favorite part of this fragrance. I feel like vetiver or some other green note that isn't so sharp and bitter would complement and balance this perfume a bit more.

The heart of Splendida Tubereuse Mystique I love, since I adore tuberose, being a white floral lover and all. I feel like one more spicy white floral note would really amplify this though and something like lily or stephanotis added to the heart notes alongside the tuberose note would have made this even better.

I also like the addition of vanilla in the base and I think that it adds a richness and a depth that is needed in this fragrance, but I feel like the benzoin in this perfume is too amped up for my liking and that it makes this perfume too ambery and strong for me.

I got 10 hours of wear from this (which is quite impressive) and a fairly large amount of projection from my skin. I'd class this as a sultry and wintry fragrance for the evening and I could imagine someone like a young Candice Bergen wearing this fragrance. It is very mysterious and beguiling. I'd still only give Splendida Tubereuse Mystique a 7/10 though and I certainly won't purchase a bottle of this.

Vexel

This would be a love for me if the tuberose stuck around a bit longer but as it is she is a beautiful young woman who has to leave the party in a hour so she can be up for work. This is a balmy, somewhat ambery vanillic scent for most of its life which is nice in its own right, but it's open with the tuberose is on a different level. There's a nice push-pull against some mild fruit and bitter tones that help moderate the sweetness into something less potentially cloying. Maybe even a little bit of a salty play dough note if you're inclined to find that sort of thing. Elegance in spades - if only the tuberose really persisted into the heart as advertized. Still a very solid like from me.

Tinabill

Splendida Tubereuse Mysthique has tuberose at its front and center. It is a really elegant, refined, polished, creamy and modern tuberose, very fragrant without being loud and screaming as it can sometimes be. The tuberose has a modern feel to it because of the silky, smooth, sweet vanilla, it feels natural with some green nuances, probably from the davana. It starts fresh and clean and ends warm and carnal with indolic undertones. The black currant is not strong to my nose. Myrrh is hardly noticeable on my skin, maybe amber. All the notes are playing a supporting role to the protagonist tuberose.
It has average performance like most Bvlgari scents.
The bottle is equally classy and refined with a gorgeous deep blue color.
Is it splendid? Absolutely!
Is it mysterious? Unfortunately not so much. I wish it had more myrrh to add to the intrigue, but overall a very creamy refined natural tuberose.

miraclesrule

I had high hopes for a new tuberose scentsation, but ugh, no. The initial opening on my skin was bitter, yet vanilla sweet. 30 minutes later, I still couldn't detect any tuberose. I had to wash this one off.

My skin pH must be odd.

Smokeandhoney

My bottle is from 2019. The fruity nuances in the opening don’t take long to dry down… the tuberose to my nose (and my bottle) is a little camphorous, there’s a very slight menthol like quality threading through giving the fragrance a green vein perhaps the davana meddling with the tuberose? In the deeper dry down (and from the sprayer) I get smoky pencil shavings (myrrh?) and vanilla but the vanilla has depth, isn’t sugary sweet, it doesn’t verge on gourmand. It is quite a strange perfume. The juice in my bottle is light brown in colour from what I can see when I tilt it in the light. It’s longevity is eternal. It’s not for everyone and I have to be in the mood to wear it.

$kank$mell$

I love an oriental tuberose. This one delivers.
The top 3 notes I smell the most are the Tuberose, Davana, and Myrrh.
The myrrh and davana combine to create a sort of ambery suede accord to me. However this is a tuberose titled fragrance, and its stacked for power in the race becoming stronger and dominating through the latter stages of the scent life.

Its not a loud fragrance, but it makes itself known in close encounters.

annasarahr121

Bvlgari Tubereuse Mystique is, to my nose, an absolutely gorgeous interpretation of tuberose! A couple of reviewers characterize it as a "green vanilla floral" in the same category as Dior Addict or Angelique Noir (Jennswen and Jwdp) and I can totally see what they mean. It's definitely NOT your mom's or grandma's classic, very green, naturalistic tuberose a la Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, or Robert Piguet Fracas. Rather, it's vanillic, yet slightly green, a tuberose with both a creamy, latte quality (as Eddie Bulilqi put it) along with the dusty, incense of myrrh. It's strong without being utterly overpowering, or linear (as is Ralph Lauren Woman Intense, for example, another sweet vanilla tuberose), and you only need 2-4 sprays and you're good (and I'm typically an oversprayer). It's quite long-lasting, enveloping me in a lovely scent bubble for 6 or 7 hours, though I did spray again, halfway through the day, to prolong the beauty. I think it would be good year round, actually, because while strong, it's not overwhelming or TOO sweet or cloying; the tuberose greenness tempers the vanilla and the dusty myrrh prevents it from going syrupy. It's really beautifully balanced. Highly recommended.

Emmybelle

I didn’t think I’d love it. But it’s sweet and creamy without being too hard on the nose. I wouldn’t over spray this one. But definitely going in my rotation

Jennswen

I really wanted to like Tuberose Mystique because I like Bulgari, but i am not a fan of this one. I have been wearing this for a few days now and I am not sure what is going on. I think my bottle is authentic, but I am not smelling much of anything. Batch code is two years old. Did it turn? Am I nose blind? I'm so disappointed. I really wanted a tuberose scent, but this is just some sort of white floral that doesn't even smell nice to me. Maybe it is too green for me. I guess I was expecting something less green like Linterdit Intense. I will try it again in hot weather and see if it improves on me.
Edit: Two weeks later and the weather is warmer. This perfume has blossomed! Very happy I gave it a chance! Some perfumes just need some time.
However, still too green for me. Not my vibe.

NouveauDruid

BSTM was a blind buy for me. Today is one of the first full days I have worn it and our weather just turning from cold to cool and slightly warm. This is where I believe BSTM blooms. It's a rich, full fragrance that offers banana-like tuberose, juicy currants, warm myrrh, true vanilla, and the tea-like davana's sweetness. It's not at all something everyone else smells like. While the tuberose is definitely overtly floral, the greenness of the composition keeps things in check. The myrrh lays an excellent foundation for it to stand on, and the drydown is surprisingly comforting, even preferable to the first 2-3 hours after the initial sprays. It's strong, so hold on for the moonlit, sultry, evocative, and definitely feminine ride.

Jwdp

I really love green vanilla florals like Dior Addict and Angelique Noire, so I blind bought this. $35 on Fragrancenet so why not? It’s a home run. It’s rich and luxurious and the spicy myrrh gives it a nice depth. It’s not really on trend—I wouldn’t flinch if you told me it had been released 10-20 years ago, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing in my eyes. My first Bvlgari and I’ll be trying more.

Blueskies145

At first, when it arrived and I unwrapped and opened and sprayed—I was afraid I did not like it. I thought it may be ‘too much’. It seemed it may be headache inducing. I kept thinking “1980s”. But within a few hours—I was deeply intrigued. Day two—showered then absolutely doused myself in it. I like it. A lot. Narcotic and addictive. Im not sure if anyone else likes it but it’s so powerful—extremely strong, and quite long lasting. I purchased this as a blind buy due to my deep love for Serge Lutens’ Tuberose Criminelle. The two are very different. The Bvlgari is vanillic and the Lutens is camphoric. Both good. The Serge Lutens disappears quickly. The Bvlgari clings and lives on.

Anamandy

This is a slinky little black dress in a bottle. A deep, dark, mysterious, sultry tuberose scent. It's resinous, woodsy, creamy, balsamic, chocolaty, boozy, and floral with a touch of flirty fruitiness. The tuberose isn't bubblegum to me but in full bloom on the verge of decline. The opening of the sweet black current is offset by the bitter and woodsy davana, opening the door to a big, bold, bodacious tuberose soon followed by a luscious, subtly spicy, chocolaty vanilla. No doubt the myrrh combined with the vanilla is creating that accord to my nose.
I've had this for several years now and wasn't a fan of the excessively thick sweetness. Still, I hung onto this little bottle and kept trying it during different seasons hoping to get more out of it than what I was. I decided to give it one last shot before passing it on and wow, suddenly it is a whole different fragrance with a whole different feel. It is no longer excessively sweet, dense or heavy, though it is no lightweight either. This is a rich, voluptuous fragrance whose presence will be known. Maybe this bottle needed to sit for a while and develop some more, or maybe I've changed, but now I am getting the full effect of what I think Sophie Labbe intended and I am really enjoying it. As of right now this is no longer going anywhere. It's staying home right where it belongs with me.

LadyMuck

All the Bvlgari fragances have a uniqueness in their makeup. This is no exception. The green notes certainly make it stand out and might not be for everyone. The tuberose by far stands out to me and is beautiful but I don't get the vanilla as it is very quiet in this fragrance. It is lovely however and becomes softer as it dries down. Not a blind buy though and you really do have to try before you buy this one.

KKerstinL

Coming from Mancera’s Velvet Vanille,
which I like the day AFTER application as I find the vanilla too cloying.
I approached Tuberose Splendida leery but hopeful of a tuberose not quite as soaked in toothache sweetness.
This is a watery tuberose and it reminds me of the texture of Rose Greedy also from Mancera.
A slight citron-ny I’m guessing is the black currant, is skirting the periphery and I enjoy the lightness but the scent is also performing somewhat feeble on me, guess I got spoiled with VV as I have to put my nose to my wrist to smell anything, what I pick up is the slightest medicinal twinge inherent with the flower & similar to Serge Lutens Datura Noir, but more fleeting.
It is very well blended and a smooth operator.
Tuberose Splendida is woodsy, a slightly green yellow tuberose which plays a supporting role rather than the focal point and it weaves in and out of the currant, a scent I am intimately familiar with growing up cooking with the entire plant and berry. ST has slight herbal quality which is absent in VV and DN. No bubble gum on my skin nor does it lean banana, the tuberose is more green and creamy than saccharine sweet and I enjoy it very much.
I like the “thinness” but the longevity is barely 40 mins and then it’s not even a skin scent.
It is winter and this probably blooms in heat and humidity, glad I followed my instinct and blind bought the Splendida Patchouli instead and only got a sample of the tuberose.
I’ll revisit it in warmer months and I’m sure I will adore it as I love well made tuberose, however, it’s not a FBW unless deeply discounted regretfully.
I can not have a collection of under performing scents. It’s the one deal breaker no matter how much I love the scent.

genericjanedoe

Oh goodness, I dislike this perfume so much! A present from a well-meaning friend, I really wanted to like it and at first sight of the box and the stylish bottle, I thought "well, it's a Bulgari perfume, it can be that bad" - well how wrong can one be?

The first spray on my wrist had me choking. A pungent blast of blackcurrant notes and something else bitter and "mucky" smelling (I assume the davana). And on dry down - well I'm sorry it just got worse. What would be positive in every other perfume I love, is a turn-off here. The strength and sillage are quite overpowering. Every time I move my hand, I get strong wafts of it. On dry down, I get a resinous spice and something that smells like rotting mango. And whilst the scent hints at vanilla, I discern absolutely no tuberose at any stage - a shame since it is one of the key perfume ingredients I genuinely love.

Right now, it's at base note stage (reached very quickly) and has dried down to a smell I can only associate with damp pencil shavings. A LOT of pencil shavings, since it still pongs when I move my arms. I think I will have to scrub my wrists and stick the bottle on eBay.

Update: hubby tested it on himself, and an hour after spraying it smells green and spicey - great on him! And better yet, he likes it, so he can keep it and wear it when he goes into the office.

Kotikina

This tuberose is mystique indeed, since it is unexpected and unusual to combine tuberose with blackcurrant, let alone myrrh - I find these notes a little bit more prominent than the tuberose itself.
I am used to see either an almost tuberose soliflore or just a very loud and bubblegummy one (Armani My Way, L'interdit),but I can't imagine Bvlgari, let alone their Splendida line to be "shouting".
Don't be put off by blackurrant, it doesn't really smell synhtetic or sirupy in here.
I find this scent very pleasing: sensual, yet warm and very comforting. It is a very versatile perfume, you can really wear it day or night out. I don't know how it will perform in summer, but this is definitely my autumn must have. The myrrh in here is magnficent.

sibarita

This is a good tuberose fragance. My first no-niche tuberose. I wear moon bloom and touberose couture in summer, and tyger tyger when it's colder. This humble tuberose from a large chain perfumery shop, which costs a third of the rest of my perfumes, pleasantly surprised me. TM has an exquisite balance, with a slightly uncomfortable sour fruity start of black currant, but immediately an elegant tuberose appears, which does not shout, but invites you to approach with a honeyed voice. After a few hours, the sweet amber powder that is also perceived in Splendida Patchouli begins to appear, a persistent, pleasant and velvety synthetic amber molecule. very good quality, masterful mix and balance. It doesn't look like Moon Bloom at all, I find it more similar to l'interdit, due to its fruity start and sweet tuberose, but the powdery base of TM is more attractive.

maistylz

The fragrance of this gorgeous perfume is like no other. A tango between fresh tubereuse flowers and aged vanilla beanpod oil with just enough pleasantness, it can be considered perfect for any occasion - especially if you're looking to make a statement!

Imagine a garden full of vibrant flowers. In the middle, surrounded by all this beauty is an ancient vanilla bean pod sticking up from its depths like some sorta' grassy emergence into heaven; then you take in deep breaths-not just because it smells so good but also for pleasure's sake! You're enveloped within these notes that make your heart beat faster and fill every inch inside out with happiness - isn't life great with "Splendida Tubereuse Mystique by Bvlgari for women" ?

I'm feeling like a massive idiot.. I've spent the winter trying this on & off, wondering what on earth I was thinking or how I could've ever have decided I liked it. Nearly got rid of it. It wasn't sweet, the bubblegum tuberose wasn't noticeable anymore n the myrrh just sat there, too dark n heavy. It's now really hot & I've tried it again. KABOOM! Oh yeah, I must've bought this originally in the summer, because now it's AMAZING, I remember this was it. I love it, the sweetness, the sillage, everything is balanced again, perfect, feminine, sexy. This is a hot weather scent apparently. I'm so in love with it again I might get a back up.

Nora Gad

Tuberose, vanilla and greeny notes , perfect for Tuberose lovers , not safe for blind buy unless you are a white floral fan ,it's so classy and elegant perfume actually

Nanalvzpink

I purchased this for the bubblegum but this made my stomach hurt. The bubble gum doesn’t shine the way that I expected it to, it’s more like a bubblegum green and earthy scent.

If you are searching for a pure bubblegum perfume… something that smells like pink bubble gum, purchase Mancera Velvet Vanilla, you’ll get what you’re looking for there.

Returning this.

I am testing a travel spray from a subscription site. I noticed recently that my travel spray decants can sometimes clip the top notes short-- perhaps too much handling, perhaps exposed too long to oxygen, not sure. Not sure if this is happening here, as I have not smelled from a full new bottle.

To me, the opening smells like freshly crushed juniper berries-- black, green, sour, "terpy," sticky, juicy, non-edible. It lacks the skunkiness that I adore in black currant, and that to me, makes black currant black currant.

Then the tuberose barges in, shuffling aside any thought of berries. It does not smell like tuberose absolute to me, which is my primary experience with tuberose. I have never met a fresh tuberose. But it certainly is tuberose referential. Tuberose absolute has a very pungent green quality that can burn a nose with a direct sniff, and it is thick with white indole, and can send your head spinning. I imagine it would make an excellent confunding potion-- i recently reread Harry Potter books, so I'm still a little in that world.

The tuberose in this fragrance is tuberose adjacent. It reminds me of that type of eye shadow that you apply as a cream, and it dries to a powdery finish. Is this tuberose creamy? Is it powdery? It seems to be both and neither. It is lactonic, as if from powdered milk, with just enough water to infer white milky goop, but still retaining its powdery lumps.

This is only my first wear. I very much like it, and have zero criticisms. I can't wait to get to know it better.

Lolapoop

pure coconut unrefined oil with flowers. I love it .
Before you give me thumb down ,try to mix a little bit of flowery smelling body lotion with solid portion of UNREFINED coconut oil, massage it onto your body and you will have 99% Splendida Tubereuse AND super smooth skin :)
Why is there no coco nut mentioned it notes pyramide is a mystery to me.
If you like Bvlgari ,but is slightly too sweet for you ,try Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Flori. Practically the same fragrance ,except Gucci is less buttery.

Ninalovesclassy

Perfect fancy night event fragrance. It opens like a gum from heaven and then it becomes very sexy mysterious scent, love it. Unfortunately the lasting power is not even power - it's quite weak.

lihsinhsu

Got a free sample. I already liked the opening but the dry down was even more beautiful. I'd say more vanilla and myrrh than tuberose in the dry down. It reminds me of a luxurious Loro Piana sweater. Would definitely wear this in the winter.

clemmy

Best creamy tuberose around. Incredible and underrated.5/5

Kanutten

Amazing. Sophisticated, classy and well balanced. I love tuberose and like myrrh but both notes easily become too much and annoying after a while. Not here. In this nothing is over the top or lacking, its just so well made.

One of the best tuberose perfumes for me. Just wanted to sniff my arm all day.
The sprayer is far from perfect, but the liquid inside the bottle is pure perfection.

ambibc

Wow. She is a sultry vixen who wears smokey eyeshadow with cat-eye liner, pencil skirts, and sexy over sized open back chunky knit sweaters with stilletos. This perfume is not what I thought it was going to be. Opening is blackcurrant and with the greenness of davana, tuberose mellow in the background, and as it wears it warms down to this lovely vanilla myrrh I didn't know I needed in my life. It is the winter tuberose fragrance, warm, soft, comforting but still floral. Olfa described it as touching cashmere and I would 100% agree.

Olfa

So well rounded, rich and soft. It feels like you’re touching cashmere almost.
All the description listed on top of the page is true. But they’re so close that you can’t really it’s vanillary, tuberosey or even both. It’s a complete scent and close to be liked by the audience.

It’s not a wow unique scent but definitely worth to try and smell it once.

I loved this (as a tuberose fonder) and I hope one day I can get over this craze bc I’ve no money left in my wallet to spend on any bottles nor decants.

Hd_Diana

Wearing this in winter time, to my nose, this perfume is all about tuberose, it is not sweet, it’s fresh, no banana, no bubblegum, it’s not lactonic or creamy, vanilla is pretty much nonexistent, this is not a gourmand perfume. I personally don’t smell anything masculine in this perfume, this is not my type of perfume, way too much tuberose.

wee drop

Tubereuse Mystique needs approximately 30 minutes on my skin before I start to like it, so don’t be put off the top notes of its opening. I’m wearing this today on a cold, stormy December day and it’s particularly nice in this sort of weather♥️

TheFl0rist

Tried it in a humid summer day and were put off by the opening. Tuberose came only as a temporary guest at the drydown.

Then winter came and I am splashing it again. It’s growing on me in a spectacular way.

Opens as a little green ( probably davana), little smokey and sweet. It stays for 10mins. Then gradually tuberoses takes over along with with vanilla!

A delicious bubblegum tuberose it becomes yet something about it doesn’t let it into fully gourmand or floral. It stays balanced.

Not in your face kind of fragrance, it works on my skin in colder weather. The opening isn’t a treat I agree. The entire composition is very elegant.

Scandal1

Bubblegum tuberose and vanilla..amazing dry down..dnt let the beginning fool you as it develops in to a gorgeous scent within 15 to 20 min ..strong one..definitely a winter perfume
Edit:
It has a ,to die for, coconut lactonic quality which gives it a slight banana cream dessert smell like..to my nose it's very close to BDK tuberose imperial ..even more wearable and lovable

Palmer Eldritch

Such a delicious, modern & elegant tuberose. Stylish suit pants, tight button up shirt, some chic heels & a spritz of this...ooooof yes!

This is not a 'Fracas' clone: keep it separate from 'Truth or Dare', 'Velvet Vanilla' & 'Watch'. 'Splendida Tubereuse' is on a league of its own. A separate, sophisticated DNA.

The opening isn't much, but what you get is an absolutely MAGICAL tuberose drydown. On my skin it's natural: not banana-like, bubblegumesque or too green. The tuberose blooms beautifully on a slightly masculine base. The vanilla is warm but not too sweet or gourmand, & the myrrh adds a subtle facet of masculine smokiness. There is something truly complex about this.

This fragrance has the classy Bvlgari touch, however you need to be a fan of tuberose to appreciate the beauty of this one. This is a unique offering to the current popular tuberose perfumes on the market. Highly recommended.

Ravenrage

I would not put the tuberose first in the note pyramide. I bought this one in my buying fit, not neccessarily loving it at first, but the more I use it the more I like it.
The currant is indeed jammy and pleasantly dark, which makes it an acceptable note for me. I usually do not like it. The davana supports the sweet&sour jam vibe.
The tuberose makes shy and sweet appearence, collaborating harmoniously. The sillage is not in your face, but the fragrance creeps up the skin and hits the nose strong enough.
I think its underrated and great :) Overall dark and quite sexy.

I had this problem with Jasmin Noir, and it seems I am having it again with Splendida Tubereuse Mystic: it seems my skin temperature/chemistry is unable to bring up the white flowers. In JN jasmine was invisible behind the wood, in STM tuberose sunk into the blackcurrant jam. It's the most glamorous blackcurrant jam I ever smelled though; it's actually one of very few perfumes where I can stand this note since it's not protruding, very well balanced and polished. Moreover it makes me smile happily every time I smell it when it brings up my childhood memories, and I admire how they can be turned into something so elegant and sophisticated. But ... this tuberose doesn't bloom on me.

mercedee

I just tried this today in the store. First on paper and I had to try it on my skin as it’s sooo gorgeous and sophisticated. I think it’s beautifully balance fragrance with the right amount of sweetness and floral notes. For me it’s a fall/winter scent I believe it’s too heavy for hot weather. I don’t even know how to describe this scent apart from being amazing :)

Maryem

Absolutely and completely fabulous.

DarlingNikki

@Siv55: I've not smelled this one as tuberose is typically a note I stay away from but the booziness you're smelling is almost certainly coming from the vanilla absolute and the tuberose is the bubblegum scent. I might actually try this one as I'm becoming more interested in myrhh but I despise black currant with a passion and of course, there it is in the pyramid.

Siv7Stars

Tried today instore. Not keen on the opening, something.. boozy? in it? Can anyone help me out? The middle n drydown are creamy sweet floral, a hint of bubblegum, I finally get the bubblegum thing now. Although others have said no bubblegum.. I think it's here. This smells expensive n the bottle n box are lovely.

RainbowGirl

Doing a side by side comparison with Dior Addict, although I am not sure why. These are very different fragrances.

Dior Addict has an initial burst of green, that I just love. However, this quickly settles to a vanilla tonka bean, with white florals. The tonka does that trick where it almost smells like tobacco, and the vanilla is not a sweet vanilla. It smells like actual vanilla pods, and is very "perfumy." A nice floral vanilla tobacco fragrance.

The Bvlgari Splendida Tubereuse Mystique is a strong sweet tuberose. Not bubblegum like Mancera Velvet Vanilla, but just as sweet. The black currant smells like a sweet red wine, so instead of a bubblegum tuberose, this is a sweet red wine tuberose. It gets sweeter the longer it sits on my skin.

These are very different to my nose, and I am glad I own both. Excellent fragrances.

JessVanEgg

This is a gorgeous fragrance, smelling strongly of tuberose and vanilla, as well as myrrh. It is such a comforting and delicious scent! Perfect to wear at night and for colder days.

The longevity is pretty decent, topping 6 hours. The sillage is moderate, and the scent is highly feminine. Value is pretty good.

8.5/10. It’s a bewitching scent with a decent longevity and sillage!

aldinatic

This is really beautiful and mistique as it saids. It proves that tuberose perfumes are one of the best. Id say its nice for the night time and any season.

kelleybelle

A gorgeous dance of tuberose and vanilla with a sweetness in there that is just right on.

Magnoliajo

This is so good! It last really well too. It smells like an animalic blackcurrant when first sprayed then settles into a smooth tuberose with a hint of blackcurrant and vanilla until finally becoming a sweet vanilla skin scent. It reminds me a lot of Illamasqua Freak ( Which I wish would come back on the market!) and also of JPG La Belle although La Belle is much fruitier because of the pear note.

Holli

Woah. This is not the usual from Bvlgari, and I say this as a Bvlgari fan. Deep, heavy and loud. If I were blind sniffing, I'd guess this was a Dior offering. Really sweet. Very warm. It does calm down fairly quickly, but easily a one spray for the day scent. I'm in Florida and fine wearing it in the heat, but I'm sure some people would skip it. Really pretty though.

wickedsoul

This is stunning.

Tubereuse Mystique is definitely sweet but not cloying due to the earthy, ambery undertones that give it so much depth and warmth, making it so incredibly creamy and mysterious — as the name suggests. Very classy, refined and delicious. Lasts pretty long (over 7h) on my skin and projects quite well, too. Could be worn during colder months but I feel like higher temperatures is what really helps it bloom.

Overall — delicious, elegant, creamy vanilla goodness!

clemmy

First: to me is divine. I am a gourmand notes' lover and what I can smell is a delicious vanillic and creamy scent. Huge projection and persistence. I cannot compare this perfume to any other I know. Sometimes gourmand perfumes are too sweet and not too classy, but this one is feminine, refined and yummy at the same time. Don't miss if you love gourmand notes. 4.5/5

ioanaszmeu

I remember trying this one on a paper strip in a store a while ago...and it was love at first sniff, so i took the paper strip along and left it by my bedside and forgot about it...and the following week kept getting whiffs of a beautiful smell and couldn't figure out what it was. And then i remembered! So i put this perfume on my wishlist, time has passed, got other perfume bottles/samples, my taste and preferences have changed...until i remembered it again and snatched a small sample... and, although these days i prefer less sweetness(scandal used to be my jam) i still adore this syrupy bubblegum tuberose nectar...it's just good...it's sophisticated enough to not fall into the "generic linear sweet smell" category. It's sweet, yes, but it also has depth and a warm, ambery richness to it that i think comes from the myrrh.
It is mysterious, regal almost... this is a must try for oriental floral lovers

kiraagold

Opens with an elegant brew of smoky tea, black currant and the same lemon creme I get from Teazzurra, but with an herbal bite, like it’s laced with wormwood.

The tuberose drifts in slowly, as if the sugar wasn’t stirred in and gets stronger and sweeter and prettier with each sip.
Lasts for hours, held just above the wrist with vanilla and enigmatic resin.

Perfect for modern mages and fashionable fortune tellers.

llamasinpajamas

first spray is straight up bubblegum ♥ then it settles into smokier earthy tones, beautifully intertwined with sweet vanilla. it's gorgeous, i love it

Amy Ann

I expected it to be an older rhythm tuberculosis, greener more spicy, but no including the color of the bottle misleads, because you think of something sober, vertical, more for a woman in a suit. Unfortunately not, it is very sweet for a tuberosis, that myrrh is a Greek type I would say , what do I mean by that, well if you enter a Greek Orthodox or Greek Catholic church you will see that they have a certain time of myrrh, which I felt in the Churches of Romania for example too, it's sweat, very fragrant it smells like something sugary, it is a very pleasant smell in a Church, because it's warm and makes you feel at home, but in a perfume it is very sweet. To understand, if you have ever smelled myrrh in a Catholic, Protestant, etc. or even Orthodox church but with a Russian branch, myrrh is a more aromatic thing, slightly animal, a little bitter if you feel it up close, at Greeks and Romanians, at least from what I felt, it's something else, it is a slightly fruity and very sugary floral scent, like a baby shower gel but with a lot of sugar and a little resinous, I repeat in a space is a divine scent, it smells of parental warmth, of an open soul, of the good, of the divine, but in a perfume with tuberose that is already very fragrant, this kind of myrrh .... it's like a lot. I would have preferred an oriental balm scent or even better an oakmoss to leave it green and clean and it would have been perfect.

supersaiyan

For me, it's a bubblegum tuberose drowning in smoky myrrh, so heavy and cloying and sort of like gum that was stepped on. Sorry, pass for me!

Joani_Cheddar

Speak louder fragrance, you are whispering. Why do I fall for the hype? - Okay, this fragrance is okay. I think it would be better if I wasnt disappointed by all the kudos. This is a pretty girl in a Miss USA pageant with no talent- not a loser but definitely not a winner.

aqua76239

I wanted this ever since I read reviews on it and notes and finally blind bought it. If you are looking for fresh tuberose scent this is not the one for you. Its bears more than passing resemblence to Truth or Dare except to me Truth or Dare was cloying sweet. This is more earthy, richer and not as sweet. One problem that i have with literally all Bvlgari scents that they dont project well and don't last. This one projects more than some of their other scents and lasts for couple of hours on me but I was hoping for more lasting power. Still, its a gorgeous scent if you like sweet tuberose fragrances like Fracas, or TF Orchid Soleil
UPDATE-after wearing it few times, I will say that it DOES last on my skin. As a matter of fact, its has very nice heavy silage and I could smell it in the morning after spraying it at night.

gennarowilde

Creamy buttery elegant evening flower. Perfect for higher temperatures so that it can blossom.

ayken

Okay, is it just me but the opening of this is TF Black Orchid and no hate to this at all. I loved it but not in a way that i would want to buy it immediately and that is why I have to go back to it again and let it sit on my wrist. however this is simply beautiful and like the bottle's name states it is mystical and definitely gives the vibes of someone who is going for an adventure and that person is fierce, spicy and for sure bold in her appearance, yet do not be put off by its strength because the scent knows how to turn every ordinary person into a pot of mystery.

MademoiselleMaya

When I tested it on a blotter I loved it, but on my skin it stays calm for 5 hours, hitting synthetic dust notes after 3 hours. Just when I wished to wash it off it started to get better again - the warm, bubblegummy popcultural tuberouse with vanilla and just the tiniest bit of mystery. Comparing to the rest of the Splendida line - this one performs the worst on my skin. It won me in a shop, and disappointed me at home. I will check it in a different weather (spring)

Farangismua

Smelled it in the store and instantly fell in love. Had to buy a full size and I dont regret it. I understand how some ppl say it’s gorgeous at first and meh after. I get it the dry down is not a beast but still subtle and elegant. There might be that bubble gum scent but its still mature. Its super pleasant to my nose Ill rate it 8.5/10

Wwoman

I love tuberose, but this is quite sweet and I'm not really into that. I think if I could smell the myrrh more, or if it had stronger base notes to balance the vanilla, it would like it better. If you really like sweet tuberose, this could be for you. Otherwise, I'd say test before buying.

Salalome

I was very excited about this when I first smelled in the shops. I tested it a cuple of times and it was always a rich tunereuse that was kind of dark but natural. I tested on skin too.
I got a full bottle but I had to re sell it. I waited for 3 months to see if the fragrance would eventualy become what I had fallen fore in the store but it diden't. Maby I should have waited longer.
But on me the new bottle smelled like bubblegum in a pine forest. Realy not what I wanted.
I din't know if my chemestry had changed so much or if it was the bottle. The testers in the store are often kept under warm lights so I can imagine it could alter sone components.

Volatile

My least favourite part is the opening, after the initial blast this fragrance starts to reveal its true pleasant self, a resinous fruity tuberose! The myrrh is the dark horse here! This blooms in the heat and it’s quiet long wearing lasting over 7 hours on skin.
In my experience all tuberose fragrances have that bubblegum/ Barbie doll quality.

HeavyBeatsUK

It’s okay - it grew on me.

First impressions: buttery in the style of Fracas which I cant stand.

I was relieved that the thing had green notes and a bit of sweetness to it though, Fracas lacks those things.

Middle notes grossed me out a bit - something smelled like carrots or some kind of bodily discharge. I concluded it’s probably lovely but doesn’t suit my skin.

The drydown came and it was sweet and creamy like vanilla.

It’s okay, I’m wearing it together with Verset’s Dana and the combination is quite nice 👍🏼

Elyasmino

It great, it smells nothing like bubblegum on me though which I'm a little disappointed about!

msajoy

Buy it.... its that good :)

poodle77

Just returned from a lockdown shopping foray with a 100ml bottle of Bvlgari Splendida Tubereuse Mystique bought for $100 AUD. This is a significant reduction in price but also quite a gamble as I hadn't tested it before and the pharmacy had no tester, nor did one of our upmarket retailers nearby who stocked the other three in the Bvlgari Splendida line, (have never seen the patchouli version anywhere). After a light spray, I was flooded with relief (no screeching, nose burning or annoying cloying over sweetness), as I had relied on the reviews here to make the decision to purchase but then sometimes my favourites are unpopular with others...that's where the blind buy risk comes in. I'm so glad that I read the wonderfully descriptive words from contributors on this site.

Some writers have mentioned the "Juicy fruit/bubblegum" opening however I didn't smell this (it wouldn't have been a problem as I have wonderful childhood memories associated with this smell). To me the opening was all blackberry and then the Davana (which someone described perfectly as "a weird celery vibe") crept in changing rapidly to a fruity/herbal note. The tuberose is shy here, appearing and disappearing as if by magic along with the myrrh. She is a gentle Tuberose, not at all like Fracas, E.L. Tuberose Gardenia and Truth or Dare (I own all of these - Tuberose junkie- and they really make their presence felt). As the fragrance develops it becomes powdery, beautiful and unique, belonging to a time when elegance and attention to detail were paramount. I have just finished watching "The Phantom Thread" and this is set in the last years of that era. I can imagine the wealthy haute couture clad ladies in that film leaving a gentle trail of BSTM in their wake.....

This isn't at all a typical Bvlgari 'fume.I'm not sure how the sillage or projection will be yet but I expect that it will be suitable for day or night with a more liberal application for evening. No huge wow factor here but a classy, beautiful well made perfume that saves the best for last.

SandyMelak

No love nor hate for it .
Another typical tuberose based scent.
It dif fits +40 women day time prob at work
Avrage lasting , avrage sillage .. its safe one has no surprises ..

Norah111

I like it ! it's different and nice .
really not same other scents of 2019 at least.
This scent like a mature lady in 30's has a Flight and waiting alone in airport , she wears a sticky classy cloths with an expensive accessories brand with heels and she looks sexy! :) .
This scent is screaming! (Hello I'm here!) I can smell more this myrrh mixed with little vanilla . Is for sexy mature rich lady and men's in love with her and she doesn't care ! She's busy! She has a business or her valuable life.

ecerusen

Well, i got a bit disappointed. The bottle is similar with bvlgari jasmin noir but the quality isnt. At first, pointlessly sharp and a little cheap smell is coming but then it turns to something different which screams "hey i'm here". The most loving phase is this but then it is turned to plastic smell(like old fashioned barbie dolls.) I dont know, it isnt a bad smell but somehow i expect the classy vibes of jasmin noir.
Anyways, as note by note it smells the most of Tuberose, Blackcurrant and mrryh at the different phases. Perfect blend and composition as its moderate level.

Titibug

Tubereuse Mystique is a bit dumb but I love it. It's a partially-fascinating sweet blob. I would say it's just as much an ode to bubblegum as it is to its purported main note.

I loved Hubba Bubba as a child. Tubereuse Mystique is beautiful and delicate, and if angels had bubblegum it might smell like this.

I waited for it to become something more interesting, hoping that the 'mystique' would unfold into succulent depths... that there would be a mystery or magic in there somewhere. It didn't, and there wasn't.

It's momentarily gorgeous: then suddenly very simple. It remains delightful and sweet, and finally collapses into powdery sweet and mindless fluff. I feel a bit disappointed for a moment, then think "yum yum!" and go in for another sniffing session (I am a bit shallow like that).

Sadly Bvlgari charge a lot more than Wrigley's, but they have made it possible to physically inhale the divine aspects (of the original flavour, imbued with extra grown-up twist), meaning no more laborious and undignified chewing to get that hit. After a while, it even smells like the fine powdery dust you used to find on the surface of the unnaturally pink sweet and its cheap paper wrapping.

In summary: my brain isn't capable of appreciating this fragrance as an artistic representation of tuberose, but I feel posh and trashy love for it anyway. My advice is don't bother really, unless you are a bubblegum/penny chew connoisseur.

pelega

This new baby is excellent and very attractive. You can think this one is a child of Black Orchid and Nero Assoluto.Long lasting and sexy...

shushkin

This is quite a curious oriental floral. I was a bit concerned about the blackcurrant as my skin seems to amp it up.
Intense tuberose with myrhh and blackcurrant. I have to say I wasn't keen on the opening. Gradually these intense notes soften and the vanilla starts to surface. I am not sure about the dovana note.
It turns into a dark, myrhh/tuberose scent backed with blackcurrant and vanilla.
After a short while it gets even more smoky. Smoked tuberous/vanilla with blackcurrant.
I like it. It's definitely an interesting twist on a tuberose/blackcurrant/vanilla combination. I'm not sure that I would buy a bottle though. The myrhh is unsurprisingly the last note to fade.
It doesn't have enough sillage on me. It's a skin scent after an hour.

dormir6

Very creamy, sweet and dark. Át first almost nothing, than a smoky, soapy fume. Not much tuberose, but a mistic, silky, dark flower coming from the velvety nigth instead. The vanilla is Very nice, Very seductive and not the cookie type.
Just sooooo nice!!!!! Longlasting.
It reminds me of Dior Addict 2014.

ReWeegh

I own 3 of the Splendidas (Iris D’Or is so far the favorite) and was eagerly waiting to try the new member of this line.

Unfortunately I got a bit disappointed. Considerably sweet, bubblegummy fruity fragrance. Not extremely bad, quite agreeable, but mainly for young women under 25. I barely sensed the tuberose, myrrh was nowhere. Longevity however is impressive - the best among the others. Bottle is way toooo gorgeous.....

LadyIva

I'm not a sophisticated conoisseur of tuberose fragrances. My nose classifies all tuberose scents into two main groups:
1) 'green', leafy, herbal tuberose, as in FM Carnal Flower, L'Artisan Perfumeur La Chasse aux Papillons or Nuit de Tubereuse and such;
2) 'pink', bubblegummy, sweet, vanillic and/or fruity tuberose, as in Guerlain Joyeuse Tubéreuse, Robert Piguet Fracas, Madonna Truth or Dare, Nasomatto Narcotic Venus, Gucci Bloom, Givenchy L'Interdit, MFK Le Beau Parfum etc.
Bvlgari Splendida Tubereuse Mystique firmly belongs into the second, sweet-bubblegummy category. I tested it agains the newest Gucci Bloom flanker, Ambrosia di Fiori (in the red bottle). While Ambrosia di Fiori is sweet but also kind of fresh and transparent, Tubereuse Mystique is just a plain old sugarbomb. The initial blast does contain tuberose, but later it morphs into a straightforward sugary vanilla. I have to say that the bottle is absolutely beautiful, but the juice inside is just - meh.

Bubbles1964

The opening is a punch in the nose tuberose, then the drydown heads into generic white floral territory. It’s on the brighter, sharper floral side, less creamy than I thought it would be with the addition of vanilla (super light here) and I can’t isolate myrrh in the composition.

I like Bvlgari’s foray into the trendy tuberose genre, but it’s also not as interesting as I had hoped. I currently own better options, so I’m not tempted to add it to my collection.

My two favorite aspects of this effort: stamina and price. Already Splendida Tubereuse Mystique can be found for a decent on-line price, and in a few months outlets like Fragrencenet will undoubtably be carrying it. I’m also getting very good performance. On my third wearing it lasts past the 4 hour mark before turning into a skin scent.

A solid like from me, but not a love.

Polinka

First impression on the blotter. Smells like bubblegum.

SailorV

My favorite 2019 release so far! The only one I’m putting on my wish list. I‘m so impressed, and I‘m usually not a big fan of Bvlgari. Let me explain, I have perfume-loving skin and a fairly good sense of smell (at least I think so), so I‘m rarely complaining about sillage and longevity. But with many Bvlgaris I find it very difficult to „catch“ the scent and smell anything for a longer time, they most likely use some kind of base I‘m anosmic to.

Not with Tubereuse Mystique. I‘m not sure what davana smells like, but all the other notes are clearly detectable and make this an enveloping, sensual, truly mysterious perfume. The black currant is similar to a fruity liqueur, the tuberose is very hypnotic and keeps a sense of airiness at the same time. No „random white floral“ boredom, no mushroomy-powdery old school floral chokehold. The opening is very focussed on the titular tuberose, but the vanilla and myrrh are already waiting and make this smell so warm and alluring. It‘s a sweeter scent, but in a floriental way, not candy-like and not even really gourmand. This is both creamy and balsamic. I even sense a hint of smoke here. Good for evening wear, but versatile enough to easily work on colder days, too.
If you like scents like Addict, Manifesto Elixir, Noir pour Femme and really anything feminine, warm, floral oriental, don‘t sleep on this. A perfect match for the lovely dark blue and gold bottle.

leila_mic

I tested this new entry yesterday, as I wanted to see the tuberose Bvlgari created ... I love tuberose in perfumes and have a few

But this one didn't like my skin 😢☹️☹️ the perfume didn't match at all and after washing it off, the beautiful flower began to shine on my wrist

I am so sorry, because I wanted something blue for my birthday 🖤
The bottle is gorgeous and on the blotter it smells divine

Persistance on skin, after washing it off, another 9 hours
Sillage medium to high

muahah

Creamy floral. Smooth vanilla sweet. With some depth. Little bit clean-soapy. Feminine and elegant. It is classy, but not in classic way. Rather romantic, for evenings and silky dress. Dark blue color fit it. After hour it develops to more gourmand, smoky and stays close to skin. For woman 20+.

Marco<3

Wow! Wow! Wow!

gelkita

Ok I am gonna sound stupid but here, after sniffing myself for 30 min after application : I am already worrying when this gem will be discountinued !

I know this has just been released however this to me is not a « mass appealing » frag, so we all know the fate of those fragrances, they have higher risk to vanish quietly from the shelves...

If I end my current bottle quite fast, I will definitely invest in a back up...

jellybeantree

This is a wonderful play on sweet floral notes . It doesn’t change a lot but gives off a vail of fragrance that lasts all day. It’s sweet but never gets too sweet . Berries stay throughout. Worth a try !

lilymorena

Today the first test at skin. I agree with the other reviewers. It a a strong, milky, creamy, sweet white flower with a wow factor. Not the tubereuse from Fracas, or Carnal Flower, or Gucci Bloom. The tubereuse here smells almost as jasmine. A must try for heady flower lovers.

gelkita

They don’t sell it in Sephora France but just my luck I found the 50 ml -40% at CDG airport !
I wish I had bought 2 now... silly me...

I am in love, this is so intoxicating, so addicting !
The projection is insane, I tried 10 fragrances on me, and this one is peaking thru them all like the star of the show, I can only smell it, all the other frags vanished...

jellybeantree

Oh this is great ! I just caved and bought a 30 ml . Will update .

ozlemmenguloglu

smells good and the drydown is similar to Dior Addict:)

raiza1990

This is a fat like for me! It projects very well for a long time and it lasts and lasts! It's an opulent and a bit sweet tuberose, elegant, unique and with an exotic and mysterious vibe to it. The name is very fitting.
This is a bold perfume, nothing for shy girls. It's also heavy in the tuberose, so, if you're not a fan of the flower it may be too much for you. But, if you like tuberose, like me, this is a must try. It's one of the best tuberose fragrances out there. Mature and sensual. Not minty, not synthetic. Lush and natural smelling.
This scent is simple and linear but very well blended. The bottle is beautiful too.
Main notes to my nose are tuberose, myrrh and vanilla. In this order.
I recommend it to passionate, old school glamorous and confident women, who know how to behave with class.
Final note: 9/10

Nataja

Irresistible, cuddly, soft, mysterious and sooo sexy!Perfect for oversize knit sweaters and long walks on a perfect Autumn day.. if you would make this more gourmand it could be the scent of a Bath and Bodyworks candle...SCRUMPTIOUS!

masako_30

The best comes later. After the exuberance of tuberose has vanished, moreover excellent.
A fading image passes fleetingly. A hint of caramel, how can it be? It is not as sweet as one can think, not misleading, as if they had sprinkled some petals of small caramelized grains, in passing, by mistake.
The tuberose reigns, but I yearn for that fleeting moment, or mirage, whenever I taste it. My personal favorite moment.

J_love_Gardenia

I am disappointed with this fragrance... When reading about the notes I was very excited to try this new release from Bvlgari and the bottle is so beautiful! Unfortunately the scent is really not for me. It opens with a sweet and sort of spicy bubblegum tuberose which I liked but after awhile the tuberose turns soapy and I can really smell the juicy black currant. At this point it is an ok scent but really lacking any depth.

The drydown is when it really turns funky and reminds me of old fragrances from the past which have this same base, that I have smelled when growing up. It feels like they combined a classic base with a modern mid and top notes. But on me it smells quite funky..

I would suggest to give this a good try before buy because its not a linear perfume.

mellyv1973

It is very sweet and pretty at the beginning but as it dries down more and more, I find it to be a watered down tuberose with a bit of chemical-like menthol. Then it becomes a light and airy white floral scent. I guess I like my tuberose a bit creamier. Didn’t seem to last more than 3 hrs. on my skin. Tested it twice and I don’t think this will be a full bottle for me. Such a pretty bottle too 💙

Coy Chickpea

I'm generally a sucker for tuberose in any form, but something in this smells distinctly medicinal and artificial to me. I was trying to figure out what, as it's not the mentholated facets that tuberose is sometimes given such as in Carnal Flower. I think what this reminds me of the banana flavoured antibiotic syrup we used to give our pet hamster. Bleurgh.

DrRosie

At first I wanted this perfume and was a little skeptical about it because of a few of the reviews from this site. I finally went to a store to try it. At first spray it was very strong (although I like heavy fragrances). I decided to spray it on and walked around for a few minutes, 5 minutes later the dry down turned into a beautiful aroma which made me want to purchase it right away. I did not.
I went to the gym that night, I did cardio and weight lifting for two hours, returned home, showered and applied body oil on. I woke up at 6:00 AM, showered again, applied coconut oil on, applied lotion and a different fragrance on. I went to work. Around 1:00 PM the fragrance was still on my wrist. I will purchase this! One must be careful not to apply too much because it is a full-bodied gourmand.

lmwimsatt

This would be really nice if it wasn't so awfully cut with water

Sunlightlove222

so far no vanilla which I am very happy about as it can make a perfume smell cheap. beautiful burst of tuberose. Fresh, white floral and a touch of musk. a romantic perfume beautiful for a cold winter night.

However, after a while, it smells really chemically which is a letdown. as these beautiful notes blend and become a sexy chemical note. which you might like, but I prefer my perfumes to have a distinctive smell.

To conclude, a sexy, fresh floral scent juxtaposed with woody herby musk. perfect for winter.

violetstorm

just got this today & i have to admit i was so nervous i would not like this due to the myrrh........i was worried it would smell like church incense with flowers mixed in lol.............BUT to my surprise its nothing like i was thinking yeah...........its a beautiful classy sweet tuberose scent.............its elegant......classic.....full bodied....very dreamy..........and i cannot detect anything that would smell like myrrh lol.......well i have to admit im really not sure what myrrh smells like but it just doesnt sound pretty lol

its definitely not weak & has nice lasting power
but its also not overpowering either...........its just right

this scent is like heaven in a bottle - sweet dreamy tuberose :)

Missblue

First review? It's an honour then.

Milky creamy white flowers. I have never smelled real tuberose, but I recognize the note in perfumes, it is oh so trendy nowdays. A good thing actually. I could swear there is coconut in the composition, giving it a rather tropical, juicy vibe. It is not a dirty tuberose( Boucheron Boucheron), but neither a sterile one (think Gucci Bloom) or candy-grapey one (Givenchy L'Interdit). I find it similar to Guerlain Terracotta with tuberose instead of tiare. Longevity and sillage are not so good on my skin, but it is a common theme with Bvlgari. Pretty linear throughout its short life span. On the sweet side.
