I recently bougt it because the title intrigued me, and the notes are all to my liking. So yes, it was a blind buy, but I'm definitely keeping it! And when I smelled it and put it on my skin for the first time, it smelled exactly like Lagerfeld Kapsule Woody, which is in my personal top 5 fragrances ❤️. We have fig on this one, and plum in Lagerfeld, but its hard to distinguish them, I get only ripe/almost fermented fruit, powdery and woody notes. Kilian is much stronger in the opening, but the drydown is almost identical!

frederickf_

So sophisticated like a second skin that’s sweet, and a bit like the flesh of some exotic ripened fruit. It takes me away to a place that’s much less populated, far more blue and with water like glass. And palm trees. Or fig trees. I love this one but don’t love the name.

rosey_nosey

I really hope Killian re-releases this one, as they are slowly bringing back others from this line. Fig and lacronic fragraces are having a moment and this fits the bill. BTW, I love this scent. It's beautiful and long lasting.

Violet28

This is an absolute no for me. Unfortunately, the fragrance is a little too green & the fig is figging honey lol. It's inoffensive & would smell nice on everyone else. I currently have a 30 ml bottle that I need to declutter. PM if interested

Garchynx

I don't have this but that's certainly one hell of a name lol

amgenus2015

i can smell the fig in this, and I enjoy it however, I don’t really get vanilla and I don’t like how the citrus mixes with the woody notes and the fig. It feels a little masculine and a little more mature than I’d usually prefer without anything that feels super unique about it

ginnylune

Yummy slightly sweet fig. A great, lovely fig scent, but then again, I’ll like nearly any fig scent. This one is so enjoyable but it doesn’t leave me thinking about it later. It’s nice because I think it could work for nearly any occasion. Right now I’m debating between a full bottle of Gris Charnel & Gris Charnel Extrait - this smells like a mix of both of those, more figgy but without the cardamom. The scent isn’t special enough, and the bottle is heinous.

Smellgoodinc4

I have a full bottle available for sale from my collection.

iuliagabriela

This is my favorite fig scent - it's woody, powdery and delectably sweet - it makes me think of those deep green candied figs. When first sprayed it feels fizzy and slightly sour, but then the vanilla, fig and sandalwood settle on the skin in perfect harmony. I don't think it performs poorly, in fact it's one of my better scents in terms of longevity and projection. I have a large decant of it, not sure if it's discontinued or not, so maybe I should hunt for a bottle while I still have time.

PineconeAlice

It is a very sweet, milky scent. I do not detect the fig notes unfortunately. It smells mainly of vanilla on me

Edit: after wearing it in autumn, now it is a sweet, and milky jam-like scent that stays around in this delicious aroma. The first testing I did during summer which perhaps did not work well with the scent.

ina.rem

Soft yet deep blend of notes. The fragrance opens with a subtle mix of fig and milk, which gives it a creamy and milky aspect. As the fragrance settles, the heart notes of Tonka bean and vanilla add a warm and comforting feel, while the base notes of cedarwood provide a woody finish. For me, the scent is perfect for spring. The silage is moderate, good for everyday wear.

Moonshine_Strawberries

My first impression of this is that it’s too gourmand and basic, like a BBW lotion. A couple years later my second impression was very different. I fell in love hard and fast. I wouldn’t call it simple. I feel like it has the right amount of complexity to properly support and balance out the fig and vanilla. This is such a fun and brilliant take on cedar.

If you like it but the sweetness is a bit of a turn off, try Hermes Cedre Sambac. It’s actually quite similar besides the sweetness.

I’d be happy to pass along my sample for just the cost of shipping or work out a deal on a batch of different samples.

am_xo

This is good stuff. To me it smells similar to angel eau croisiere 2020 but so smooth and toned down and the fig milk is prominent. I wish I bought this instead. Hopefully they bring it back

Gris charnel is more spice forward and unisex while adults is a soft , sweet and delicate fig milk fragrance that I can see on a woman. I think it would be good to have both lol

LadyJedi

I'm really glad I got a sample of this first. I love fig in perfumes and I detected the milky fig here as well and yes, it's nice, but the overall composition is lacklustre and the performance is disappointing. It stays really close to the skin and doesn't project at all. Overall, it's a nice scent but not one I'd like to have in my collection.

Ola-la5455

I wonder why such low ratings? Maybe everyone expects some wild passion and bomb sex? maybe from the name :-) in fact, the fragrance is very modest, quiet and calm. I feel here violets, wildflowers, romance, youth. I see the heroine not a femme fatale in red lingerie, but a girl of about 17 in a thin summer dress among wild flowers. The scent is very feminine and delicate.

Esmeeparfume

Thisbis my favorite. I have a tester that i had for a while and took with me to apply on a date. It was so strong and so yummy. Its starts green spicy and woody and then dries down sweet and woody like sandalwood and vanilla with a hint of green. Im still looking for the perfect dupe as it is a bit pricey for me and i also dont like the bottle. Now trying zadig voltaire this is us but if someone knows a better dupe let me know!

onaona

a dewy, green fig
a creamy, milky sandalwood
and a persistent powdery accord

I'm fairly certain the notes of Adults don't say talking it out in the bedroom between the sheets to me, but they do communicate full bottle worthy quite clearly.

I've had really good luck with the absurdly named Kilians and Adults is my favorite after Kissing.
Adults opens with a green, dewy fig note right away for me, not the citrus opening I expected. I prefer my green notes without the sharp edges and it seems like the perfumer might as well, at least in this composition. The fig is green and dewy but also becomes milky. That slightly sweet creaminess, which is the vanilla, of course, continues to a lovely sandalwood and holds everything together just as you would imagine a well-behaved vanilla note doing. I enjoy everything about this composition, but it's the powdery fig laced accord that pushes it to love. I have no idea where the powder comes from in this fragrance, but it lasts for hours here.

My only argument, adult or otherwise, is that this perfect for me fragrance doesn't last for days and the argument I would like to have with Kilian for its discontinuation :(

abbieclark67

A milky, sour fig! I adore gourmands, and this one is sweet but not too much. This is like a breath of fresh air for me. This fragrance is sweet, delicate, and woody. It has a milky and creamy scent that is quite appealing. Vanilla powdery, calming. Unusual and unexpectedly delicious. It gives off passionate, confident, and sensuous vibes. Longevity and silage are excellent. The fig is fresh and juicy, with a subtle sweetness. Love it!

Nikki.Baker0530

HEADS UP I do have autism, but here's my description. Date night with the man of your dreams on a fall night. He lends you his well worn hand-me- down leather jacket on the walk to the carand his place is posh af.. Historic brown stone with full restoration and he's the best freaking kisser you'll ever know. You're confident, sexy, and fierce. He can't look away.

mrshnchnkm

Why do all the perfumes from this collection have such corny names? The perfume is boring, nothing special. Figs are one of my favorite notes, but here the figs are not fresh and juicy, but candied. The combination of citrus and sandalwood make this perfume sour and powdery at the same time.

In my opinion, all the notes here are simply very poorly mixed with each other, it smells somehow chaotic, but at the same time very boring.

clairesque

This is lovely... smells like a fig soda pop mixed with sandalwood and the tiniest hint of spice. There's also a creaminess to the fig note that makes the fragrance lean a little sultry without being outright sexy. This is a weaker scent than the others I've tried from the My Kind of Love line, but I kind of like its subtlety.

meama

Capillary eroticism
fruity, green, musky, clean, round and enveloping, like an impression of freshly washed hair nourished with conditioner.

mandyads

The initial spray of this is edging on masculine. The cedar and sandalwood for the first few seconds have a tart bit to them (from the citrus I presume), but then the cologne vibe settles as the fig starts to poke its juices through every so slightly... this is when it melts into more of a unisex fragrance. There is some sort of fruit vibe that the fig provides, but it is truly a semi-sweet nectar rather than a fruity essence. There is a powdery edge to this that surely comes from the violet and orris... perhaps even the sandalwood adds to this. It continue to draw sweeter and softer as it wears on the skin, but I still smell of cologne. It reminds me of how I might smell after intimately embracing my partner after he's doused himself in his own fragrance. A beautiful woman lounging around her man's bachelor pad in his button-up from the night before.

UPDATE: It actually continues to soften even more on my skin. Still unisex, but leaning ever so feminine after a while. Even so, it's still not a fragrance I would wear, but I can understand why many (men and women) would enjoy it. However, the performance is quite disappointing. Projection is below moderate for the first hour and becomes a skin scent after that. The longevity was only a couple of hours on my skin, but I cannot speak to the sillage. I feel as though I cannot properly recommend where or how to use this, because I am not usually attracted proper unisex scents. I don't dislike it by any means, in fact... I like the smell as a whole, but don't think it is my taste.

fragrancesguru0

i just love this one!!Very unique, likeable and loooooong lasting!!! A must have

thestranger

The fruitiness mixed with the powderiness flirts with headache territory.

luminaries

Fresh and green at first, I get the fig and sandalwood from this perfume the most. This one is the most unisex of all the My Kind of Love collection like both you and your partner could wear this, which I think was their intention. The dry down is creamy and the vanilla peeks through the woods here, but there's something synthetic and harsh in this that makes me dislike it. There's almost a soapy quality to this one and I actually think this would have been a really nice shower gel? This had a moderate sillage, but lasted 8+ hours.

jessr777

Interesting, it’s like a sweet, creamy freshie? I got the sandalwood up front, which is challenging for me bc I always get at least a hint of dill, but it’s not TOO bad here. It’s there for sure though. Cedar, not too strong. The vanilla, fig, and citrus remind me of a creamsicle. This is super creamy, almost marshmallowy. and then there’s a nondescript green note? Weird! I don’t dislike it. it could probably grow on me

Update: The sandalwood ended up taking over this whole thing on me pretty quickly. Meh.

Punkrockbebop

Blast of bergamot dries down to a sugary, figgy, woody scent with powdery orris, cedar & sandalwood, sweetened with vanilla. The citrus makes it sparkle, a bit. Moderate projection. Pretty & fruity. Don’t like as much as my favorite figs, but it is not as silly and overly sweet gourmand as I expected from the marketing.

Gruhlanska96

It is similar to the others from the line-sweet, same time there’s some spicy vibes and sweet woodiness. I really like it, it could be a unisex scent but definitely is in the females side. I like it! It is sweet, likeable, veeeeryy long last and not to forget-projection is BOMB!!! 💣

fensismeksi

OMG! This perfume is AMAZING!!! Fantastic longevity, sillage and projection. And smells sooo good. So delicious, woody, creamy, sweet. Omg I am so impressed.

LaceyAstra

This is an absolute love for me 😍
Very unisex, and probably misleading name, as I don't get romance vibes at all.
What I do get is impeccable dusty Orris, cedar and light dry sandalwood. With a touch of fig and green notes in opening, and a bit of amber on drydown. I get zero citrus, bergamot or vanilla, which is fine by me. If Orris root is not your thing this is unlikely to appeal. It is not particularly sweet, either. Anyone who blind bought and hates it, I'll gladly take your bottle off your hands 😁 this is so wonderful I'd love to have back up squirreled away.
Year round appropriate, currently enjoying on a 70° day.

SirWaqarUlArfeen

I wish it only live upto its name... Unlike the name suggest, it's not an arousing scent and pretty much like the other Killian scents, for example in the city of sin. I like its opening the most. I wish it had more prominent Fig and hedione notes. Surely not buying it again.

RainbowGirl

I very much like the opening. The fresh citrus with sweetness underneath is beautiful. A perfect unisex perfume that does not lean too masculine. The fig smells sweet, but it's not a warm fig. It's a fresh floral fig. I don't get a heavy green smell, just a freshness.

The more I smell this, the more I like it. It reminds me of something... is it Rootbeer? Cream Soda? It has a woody creamy vanilla scent in the drydown, that reminds me a little of cream soda, or a rootbeer float.

I cannot decide if I like this fragrance, or if I love this fragrance. It is certainly a unique fragrance. If I love it, I will buy a full bottle. If I like it, I will rock my three testers until they are empty, and enjoy every moment.

Not a safe blind buy. This should be tested first. Or you could be a brave badass... and dive right in.

Spa experience without aquatic notes

SuperSueChick

This is just like Tom Ford's Santal Blush.
Therefore, this is a pass for me.

AryanasPerfumes

I absolutely adored Princess so I thought I should try another one from this collection, and based on the ingredientsa I figured I should like this one, but there`s a screechy green woody note in there that doesnt stay fine with my nose .I wore it for the first time for a hair appointment and on my way there I felt so nauseaous, I thought I might really throw up. I took wet wipes to take it off my skin and since then I always feel nauseated when smelling it.I cant figure out which ingredient gives me this feeling, gotta be a combination between the wood in it and the green notes

2whit2quit

I thought I liked this in-store (Sephora), so I bought a bottle, then I quickly returned that bottle. It just sat on my skin, was too green for me, and quite soapy. It left me with a headache.

CreamSunshine

First of all, the name of this fragrance is excellent. It makes me feel things.

Secondly, I love the first 15 minutes of the scent. It opens magically sweet and slightly green. I thought this was going to be a ‘love’ for me, based on the opening. Sadly, however, the dry down lost the sweetness and was too green/sour for my nose, it never settled into something I could enjoy after the pleasant opening.

Markellam92

I looove that perfume... It's the only "woody" perfume I own (and it was a blind buy) BUT I'm not disappointed at all.. It's very rich, quite warm and a little bit sweet...It's one of these "unique" smelling perfumes and not crazy expensive..If you like woody-sweet smells that one is for you.. The performance is good, if you over spray like me 😅 then the performance is amazing..

f_adina_m

I love it. Very unique scent.

Lomama

I got primarily white floral (Hedione?) with some woody spicy in the background. I really liked it, but the floral and the woody/spice didn't blend for me. They were kind of two competing scents, not a melded thing going on. It's odd because I don't normally feel that way when I smell different notes in a fragrance, but truly, here, I did. It was like catching a whiff of one person passing wearing Hedione, then another passing with woody spice stuff on, not a potpourri of cooked-together smells. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sexy name of this scent! And I think it's got sophistication in its layers, just wish it felt melded and coherent to me.

RandomPatterned

I find it to be a dreamy combo of sweetness and warmth. I didn't realize I liked cedar in fragrance. The woody notes are so pleasant. I can't pinpoint the exact elements that provide the lovely fruit and creaminess, not vanilla, perhaps the fig. I don't find any prominent citrus or green on my skin. Feels relaxing to wear, even so, not budget friendly enough for me to invest in a FB.

MahaS

My suggestion is to test before you buy. There is a risk that you can get a totally opposite effect on your skin to what people describe it to be. I can't detect fig or vanilla. Definitely not milky (which is what I was hoping for) very green and herbaceous. I would say masculine.

So far .. on my skin.. The only one that smells like everyone else describes it to be is the Kissing one. the others are just plants

adamh9201

This fragrance is one of the best things I have ever smelled. I am a sucker for vanilla and fig so this one was perfect for me. It has immediately become a favorite and would be great for men and women.

Pacifica_

I do really enjoy this perfume. The fig, amber, and cedar notes are what’s most prominent to me. After a while it goes a bit woody and vanilla on me. The woody is almost like pencil shavings... but I like it. This might have been FBW for me if the projection was a little bit bigger.

poppyetpear

I get almost all sandalwood, which is lovely, but, I mean, I can just wear my sandalwood rollerball oil for just a couple bucks🤷♀️

Robmeister32

Now we know why they are fighting.

sunnyinphilly

Just "meh"

Drent

milky, figs, slightly woody with this creamy mashmellow-ness that runs throughout and is especially three in the dry down. I like this more and more as it dries down. Im more of a vanilla/ gourmand lover but this is nice and especially layered with a vanilla based perfume just to bring out the sweetness a bit.. that's how I would wear it. Today I have it layered with Dior's HP, and wow.
Decent sillage and longevity too.

mellyv1973

Violet and figs from the beginning. Somewhat creamy, linear perfume with a powdery nuance that lingers in the nostrils. Very interesting. Contradictory notes coming together as one instead of clashing. Enjoyed my sample, but not full bottle worthy for me.

Gia1913

ADDICTING! Sour, sweet milky fig! This is the fig I have been searching for. I have tried Philosykos, Premier Figuier, Figue ( Molinard), Figues et Agrumes (Maison Lancome). This is my favorite one.

I do love my gourmands but sometimes it's just too cloying. This not only gives me a breath of fresh air, but it also satisfies my sweet tooth at the same time. This is one of the most underrated perfume from this Kilian line and it's divine. I kinda hope no one would buy this and let it go on the discounters more often....

nordhaul

Smells fruity and clashes with its’
Black bottle. I smell peach. Like
it’s The verge of being vulgar but
it’s not, because it’s fruity & soft.
The title is what gives it away. It’s
not for me. I Prefer Angel’s Share.

mystike23

I loved it! I could smell some coconut in there, sweet, creamy, the only big problem is that does not last!!! This could be my signature scent, smells delicious, but it doesn’t projects and it doesn’t last. They should fix that :(

E.H.Tersono

Very sweet - cola and bubblegum and a bit of the By The FirePlace (Maison Margiela) marshmallow-ness alongside the predicable smokey-sweetness that unfortunately reminds me too much of a slightly better version of Nirvana Bourbon by Elizabeth and James. Fun though - dressed up, out on the town, city lights and late nights.

katsong

I love the opening, but the drydown is a bit of a powdery mess. The opening is fruity, slightly milky, and green. I wish it smelled this way the whole way through instead!

Tessa03

This is my first fig perfume, as it is also my first by Kilian perfume. First impression = love it !! This is strong, sweet & powdery (all things I love by the way). This is very well blended - I can smell fig but also a bunch of other notes that i cannot make them out separately. The reviews on this were so mixed and most videos I watched about this rated this one as the least liked one of the collection I was afraid I had chosen the wrong one but it turns out I am really enjoying this. I have since ordered the more popular Princess one (that one has tons of good reviews) thinking that one would be even better than Adults but I think I prefer Adults to Princess. Adults is definitely way stronger and more potent. A beautiful perfume and if you are on the fence about it - just get it :) Very unique & different.
PS - To those who think this line is for teenagers - this smell to me is quite mature and I cannot imagine a 16 yr old wanting to smell like this...

ma2780

On my skin this is very much like Santal 33 but with sweet fig, which makes it warmer and darker, and a milk or vanilla note that makes it creamier. It’s really nice but on my skin (which really amps up sandalwood) it’s not super unique. I probably would’ve loved it if I had tried it a couple years ago but I think personally I’ve moved on from my Santal 33, Book, Bois de Balincourt, etc. days. I’d say it’s very much unisex and safely in the gourmand family. Good longevity, soft projection. If you’re into woody gourmands, definitely worth trying it

merely_there_b

Smells very much like Chanel Chance Tendre, but with addition of figue... Surprised no one mentioned it

FlyGirl81

I'm glad I got the discovery set and not a whole bottle of this one.
It smells like a sweet hamster cage to me. I assume that's the cedar.
There's just nothing about me that wants to smell like this.
I'm not sure who would enjoy this in the bedroom. Maybe a wood worker, whittler or a hamster fanatic.
Not me and not my boyfriend. He expressed his dislike for it right away. He's more of a metal worker than a wood guy. Haha.
Anyway... Hard pass for me.
Maybe I'll spray it in the garbage can or something to use the sample up.

brumbarche

I agree with candied syrupy lily description (Jo Malone Amber lily) in the opening ... and spicy too I may add, but ends with waxy sandalwood~y violettes (black Amber ZARA HOME). The masculine vibe from the fig (the interesting part) is quickly gone and some annoying development starts unfolding in stages, neither of which I found myself appreciating. I gave it some good 3 tries before I decided I'm giving up on this scent. It should be appreciated by people who like Montale Oudmazing, Sospiro Soprano and Overture, Kenzo Elephant, Creed Irish tweed, Guerlain Insolence EDP, Reminiscence Les Gourmandices (the green bottle), Kenzo Flower ... and yet ... not suitable for a blind buy imo!
This fragrance can be summarized like ... the smell of a bag of heavily perfumed cola-flavored gummy worms (the cheaper ones), chewed by someone wearing cheap aftershave.

The first time when I tried Adults, I felt eventually that I have to scrub it off, but I couldn't ... so covered it up instead. With ... a layer of Dolce Garden -it seemed potent enough + they share the same type of sweetness, but Dolce Garden has coconut and is quite feminine, which softened otherwise pronounced cologne-like candied green fig here (the part that feels like violets I guess).

Update: Sospiro|Xerjoff Overture and Soprano , as well as Montale Oudmazing make me slightly queasy the way Kilian Adults do, due to a concentrated synthetic cola note they share. This similarity can be a positive to some and a negative to others, so if you are into blind buying - consider this.

disintigratedwoman

Was really intrigued by the name of this perfume when I saw it at Sephora last year - how can you not like that? Also loved the fig note it features so prominently, a note that isn't super common.. so I decided to purchase a small bottle.

Not long after bringing it home however, I realized that this perfume is unwearable to me, and even makes me feel sick. It's so strong and intense, and it becomes way too sweet on my skin. For some reason, I smell coconut as it develops on my skin too - a note I'm not crazy about. The sweetness is overwhelming and I can't think of any situation I'd want to wear this in. Glad I didn't buy a full bottle of this.

tiredstarlings

I really like this. I think the name is funny. There is something very skin-like and sensual about this fragrance. This pairs really well with MAC Lady Danger.

ntabassum92

This is a yummy, sweet, fig dessert scent. The fig and sandalwood pair nicely together - I wish that combination were stronger as the fragrance develops. It wears close to the skin, but it is a people pleaser. It's pretty, but nothing out of this world - a much cheaper alternative comes to mind: Fichi e Panna by Kyse perfumes. True, that one is sweeter than this, not as woody, but if you're looking for a gourmand fig, that one hits the spot for me.

Amanjo

Scent: this is a sweet, soft and woody scent. It smells milky and creamy, very seductive. Powdery vanilla, soothing. Quite unique and surprisingly good. 8/10

Who/when/where: this would work really well on special occasions or on a date. The person who wears this is romantic, confident and sensual.

Longevity: good.

Sillage: moderate.

gmstrack

Adults by By Kilian opens with candied fig and a synthetic (in a good way), yet pretty coconut-laden sandalwood. Sniffing this on a blotter is really nice, but once it hits the skin and dries down, it falls apart, and becomes mushy and synthetic in a bad way. Given that I'm drawn toward sweet, woody fragrances, I really wanted to like this, but it smells like a sugary department store fumigator.

I'm really striking out with By Kilian so far, but it's possible that I just need to sniff more of their fragrances to find one that really 'wows' me.

2.5/5

justchillinxo

Nothing like fig to me. Smells like milky lilies. It’s quite heavy and more for cold weather or the night time.

Molly Smith

This is the best fig I've smelled, and it also has a crazy longevity! It's so rare for a fig fragrance. The fig is fresh and juicy jet slightly sweet.
I don't like the sprayer though: it showers you in perfume. Today I had to wash it off because I oversprayed from one careful touch of the button.

kati77

It's really sweet semi woody with a violet hint fragrance.
Depending on a weather type can be more floral kind and sometimes can be overlly sweet vanilla. Undernote of this is interesting but yet i had a sample and wont buy more.
But i recommend to try as something unusual.

montia

LSTALAITBN is sweet woody fragrance, wearable. I like it, its more unisex than not. Packaging is, well .. I appreciate the effort.

EnergeticCrab

This takes you on a journey for sure. The opening has one element after another, clamoring for dominance. The citrus notes quickly become overshadowed by what Adults becomes: A sugary vanilla milk with pencil shavings. The fig is present, but isn't juicy and wet. It's like fig Turkish Delight, covered in powdered sugar. The orris root adds the powderiness, I think, and keeps this fragrance dry. The green notes throw me off, though. And something kind of burns my nose. Maybe the hedione? I don't get much violet, but it and the sandalwood are there adding some stability.

This was really appealing in store, but on my skin is kind of "whatever". I much prefer Amour Nocturne for a hot milk fragrance. Like others have said, Adults is too expensive and the name is dumb. Unless you love it at first sniff, you don't need it.

Emmajade81

I’d definitely say it’s unisex. It’s a sweet (but not sickly) fig, spicy, bright, powdery vanilla scent that also has somewhat of a freshness to it.

I purchased this fragrance today at Sephora on impulse as I was already wearing Mancera’s Aoud Vanille, and I sprayed this fragrance over top and they layered surprisingly well! I think because they both have oud/woody and gourmand vanilla notes.

Side note: I’m obsessed with Mancera Aoud Vanille and I’ve been layering it with other woody/spicy/vanilla fragrances and whatever combination I create just seems to work!

But saying that, I did really enjoy this Kilian fragrance on its own. Sillage is moderate. Projection moderate. (I felt a nice little scent cloud around me). And it lasted on my skin for around 4 hours before I reapplied (so not the best longevity), but I don’t mind re-spraying,

Dislike the bottle and the name.

However happy to have it in my collection. Definitely one to check out if you love fig, vanilla or gourmand frags. Overall I’m happy with this impulse buy.

AnitaHendricks

This perfume is quite strong and almost manly! It's spicy, powdery and woody. It could be a unisex scent. I like it a lot! I would recommend it during fall and winter, when you want something to warm you up.

Got to sample this at Sephora today..must say prob my fav. of the line..this is for the gourmand/ sweet scent lovers. I see it has a lot of notes I enjoy & new discovery for me I must enjoy Fig based scents..On me I get a fruity-vanillic powdery-ness.. very sexy & alluring, must add that & it makes no difference to me..even though this is marked for both (I mean it has a sort of masculine quality with the Woody/Cedar, I can really pick that up) I feel this leans slightly more to the feminine side tho..the whole line pretty much does IMO..I got a sample of it though & will deff do a full body test this weekend (will update later) must say to I sprayed this maybe 3 hours ago & it still smells just as strong as I first sprayed it. Love the bottle design too, its heavy & feels nice quality.

Update: I wore this out last night, & it was instant love & hit with everyone..definitely splurging on a bottle soon. <3

Not a bad fig fragrance...but this, like the other Kilian releases for Sephora, seems to be aimed at a teenage to twenty-something audience.

For me it is the most tolerable of the line. Probably because it smells more like something I would wear and less like something I would find at a candy shop.

I got a sample of this from a recent Sephora purchase, and liked it so much that I convinced my husband to buy it for me for Christmas. Unfortunately, my mother in law complimented me on the perfume and asked me what I was wearing... and... well, the name is so unspeakably embarrassing that I had to run upstairs and show her the bottle because I couldn't bear to utter it aloud.

I kinda like the bottle, by the way. It's solid and heavy, like a paperweight.

It smells exactly like the note pyramid. I get a very strong initial scent of citrus, like a freshly peeled lemon and clementine. That fades very quickly (3-5 seconds!) to a nice fig scent; it's a creamy-ish fig, so I guess why it's a "fig milk". Then the cedar comes in a minute or two after, and underneath it all there's a current of powdery vanilla thrumming along. I don't get much of the other notes. I'm guessing the cedar is why it's considered a unisex perfume, but I find it on the sweet side and enjoy it. It's fresher than the gourmands I usually prefer (syrupy sweet baked good type scents) and it's a nice every day scent.

It's not a very strong perfume; sillage is low-moderate. I can spray it on in the morning and enjoy it for a few hours, and it won't bother anyone else in the office. After about four hours or so it fades away dramatically and becomes basically a skin scent. I plan to revisit this in warmer weather (it's December in the Northern Hemisphere) and perhaps I'll get more vanilla out of it.

EDITED TO ADD: There is a green note that pops up strongly around the same time the cedarwood shows, it's a bit reminescent of the "ivy" in the original Lolita Lempicka. I've always hated it in LL, as I thought it was too chemical/bug sprayish. Now I recognize it, and the drydown of this is a little similar to LL -- same orris/vanilla/violet accord. I've always liked LL, though the liquorice/anise aren't my favorite notes, so if you like LL, you might like this too. Now I know why my first impression of this was, "this smells like something familiar and purple!"

EDIT 2: Went home and sprayed Kilian on one wrist and Lolita Lempicka on the other. Yes, they are pretty similar. Nowhere near dupes, but maybe cousins. They are structurally very similar, with the creamy-soft fig milk in Kilian replacing the sharper, spicier liquorice and cherry in Lolita Lempicka and the cedarwood in Kilian subbing in for sandalwood. Like maybe if Lolita Lempicka and Diptyque Philosykos had a baby...

I HATE the packaging. It's so tacky and trashy. But i like the fragrance.

First spritz is interesting. Unfortunately the drydown is dull and not what I was hoping for. (I bought the mini four pack sprays from this line and this is my third favourite of the bunch). I get mostly a woody and powdery smell. Quickly becomes a soft skin scent on me. I guess I was hoping for more vanilla to shine through...worth a try though, esp. if you have tested others from the same line.

I really like this! I think that the combination of vanilla, fig milk and green notes do smell really nice. Those are the only notes I think I can recognize, maybe a bit of the citrus notes too. But I'm not good at picking notes, so other reviewers can probably describe it better. Soapy as another reviewer mentioned is what I also think this smells like, a very lovely and creamy soap. It feels luxurious and comforting. Performance is moderate on me (both sillage and longevity). It does remind me of something I have smelled before, but I can't think of what it must be.

I love to flirt and I love my fragrance collection to flirt back it’s so fun to see this design!!!
The fragrance is so pleasant and flirty. It’s soapy sexy , warm, creamy.
The fig note is nicely done and isn’t too heady or cloying.
It’s lasting on my dry skin and I cannot stop sniffing my wrist.
If you like a soapy, comforting scent this is fun and inoffensive. I really like it.

I was in Sephora today to actually re-smell Tom Ford For Man, but suddenly whilst looking in the Women's/unisex? section and I came across the new Kilian's. So as any frag head would do, I smelt them all. They are all interesting in their own way. This one opens with that fig note, and some kind of creamy vanilla note that I like. I notice milk is a note in this, that's probably where I get it the creaminess from. All and all, not a bad scent. Definitely warm, and the better one out of the new set. I definitely get the Book comparison with the woody and green notes. I obtained a sample of this one, so I will need more wearings to form a better opinion.

I'm not cool enough to dislike this. It's an interesting sort of sweet--sweet with a stiff wood backing--and it smells really good in the opening. I am enjoying it, even if it wasn't expensive. (Heck, I could only get it because it wasn't expensive.) I agree with the reviews about the packaging, which is ugly. But, "it smells like something from Sephora"? Come on--that's just pointless snobbery.

This scent kind of pulls you in with it's heat. I agree with a previous commenter about the cheap packaging and marketing. I don't like it at all. The scent is cool, though. I predict that this will be the next Viva La Juicy and I'll be praying for it's extinction.

yzerman76

Let me start by saying that i bought it, and that i love it.

This one is highly skin sensitive and heat sensitive.

You cannot go by another persons impressions. You have to try it on your skin.

On me it is pure fig and vanilla heaven. Not entirely gourmand but leaning sweet. The wood is there but only provides support near the skin. Sillage has no wood at all. No pencil shaving here. It also morphs depending on heat. The warmer it is the more dominant the vanilla becomes. In 15 degrees celcius the fig and vanilla marries together beautifully in equal measures. Perfect for northern european autumn.

To summarize an approachable easy to love scent. I wouldn't call it entirely unique, but you will smell differently than others around you, at least for now until popularity increases.

Not a fan of this "truncated" line of generic crap. Horrible concept-packaging is a minus here. Sad . Sample these at Sephora and weep.

This one is quite woodsy, starts as a masculine scent developing into unisex. Cedar is very present. It's more figue-sweet than fresh.

Very briefly, just for a few minutes, this smells nice and clean. Must be the lemon and bergamot. Then quickly, the smell of pencil shavings takes over and overpowers all the other notes for a while. Eventually, you get a milk-y, vanilla (but somehow not vanilla milk!) to complement the cedar and turn this into a fragrance that is quite soothing.

I really enjoyed this one. The opening is sweet, and to be honest, the dry down smells like a younger, less refined 'Sacred Wood' to my nose. Not a fan of Badboys, but this one is a solid less expensive Kilian release.

thethe

Smelled this at Sephora. Opening is amazing! It then tunes a bit too vanilla in the drydown.
It’s just ok.
