Obsessed for Women by Calvin Klein is a Aromatic fragrance for women. Obsessed for Women was launched in 2017. Obsessed for Women was created by Honorine Blanc and Annick Menardo. Top notes are Citruses, elemi, Neroli and Bergamot; middle notes are Lavender, Sage, Violet Leaf, Orange Blossom, Lily-of-the-Valley and Rose; base notes are Musk, Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and Iso E Super.

As the reinvention of an iconic fragrance, OBSESSED plays on the evocation of memory through scent. Mixing memory and desire, masculine and feminine, the past and the present, these compelling fragrances echo the original OBSESSION, yet blur and reformulate scents for both men and women today.

Obsessed for Women is centered on a heart of white lavender and a base of musk, created by perfumers Honorine Blanc and Annick Menardo. It is an Amber Aromatic Green; A female interpretation of an Amber Lavender.

Top notes: Sacred Citrus, Neroli Essence, Elemi. Heart: Violet Leaf Absolute, White Lavender, Purple Sage. Base: Musk, Helvetolide, Ambrette Muscenone.

As the legendary campaign with Kate Moss and Mario Sorrenti approaches its 25th anniversary, OBSESSED utilizes never-before-seen imagery from that time and personal biography to further explore and evoke the idea of memory, past love and present iconography.

Available as EDP.

like many things in life, it is beautiful but lasts a very short time for me.

maybe the longevity will improve when the weather gets warmer, i hope it does because i love it.

it smells like a spa resort, very comforting and relaxing.

edit: i just bought a new bottle today and was wondering why the lid was squeaking when my first one wasn't. it's ever so slightly taller, too. turns out the first bottle i got was manufactured in 2018!! i bought that one in december 2023, so that's quite fun and interesting. the new one i got today was manufactured 2022 and thankfully smells identical :'D

Exactly like if you took your bottle CK One and mixed it with a bottle of CK Be. If you don't remember the magic of the 90's, you might not get it. Those two had a chokehold on us lol. And you'll probably think this is very masculine as well. Back then, everything you think is masculine was unisex, or even feminine. The original 80's/90's Obsession for women is what everyone thinks is "manly" now. No, that's just how perfume smelled in the 90's. I miss it. What an antidote to all the cloying gourmands of today.

DariaDark

This is one of my favourites, if not the absolutely most beloved perfume ever. It's clean and light but I can smell the sage and lavender on my skin the whole day, especially when applied on a body lotion or in my hair.

I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but I would describe this scent as a sex with a gorgeous young man. Fresh from the shower, gentle and pure, a bit shy but at the same time manly and determined to do his best for you... Enjoying the intimacy you share perhaps even more than the act itself.

I will love this one forever and always, buying every last bottle I can get my hands on.

Mycoleman2800

Ummm......I'm not a huge fan of this. I was super excited to get it but when I smelled it I was really disappointed. It smells just like Elizabeth and James Nirvana French Grey. They are so similar that if you have one, you definitely don't need the other. Considering I'm not a huge fan of French Grey, I won't be keeping Obsessed. Both of these seem to be heavy and are definitely winter fragrances.

Obsessed feels like a crisp rainy spring day. It is clean and refreshing, but not at all soapy. It has an herbal and aquatic quality due to the combo of lavender and iso super E. There's some citrus at first, but it is definitely not a citrus bomb like CK One. There are some similarities in the base with CK One, but Obsessed is a different perfume all together. I like this as a fresh palette cleanser after a lot of sweet or floral perfumes as it smells clean and bright. I usually wear two sprays of this as any more can actually be very overwhelming at times. The longevity and silage are great, again due to the iso super E. If you do not like iso super E or fuzzy herbal scents then stay away from this one. If a kind of crystalized citrus-tinged lavender bud sounds good to you maybe give this one a go, especially in warmer months.

Even though I love this I understand the hate. It's not for everyone. It's very 90's meets now, also a bit strong and masculine for a women's fragrance. I mostly get lavender, sage, violet leaf, and musk, all of which are some of my favorite notes. It has that nice balance between clean and musky. Also it almost smells..drinkable? Like a fresh herbal mixed drink but somehow still dark and woody, made with bourbon. The iso e super might be what brings this fragrance to the edge for some people (in a bad way). It's pretty heavy smelling and that synthetic note can pull it further into headache direction.

BUT..I personally find this suits me very well. I think this works for a casual woman. T-shirt and jeans. Especially nice in spring and fall.

TranceNdendalist

Oh dear. I was really prepared to like this one from the descriptions. I was expecting it to be much more herbally crisp and refreshing. The initial spray and top notes were highly pleasant sage-y floral. If it stayed that way throughout I would wear it. But hoo boy the dry down... is a scent that I hate. Blind bought some tiny testers of various Calvin Klein perfumes. I am already fan of Euphoria and flankers. Was really excited to try a fougere, but these base notes are so incredibly displeasing to me. They smell akin to STRONG vanilla, but it must be the musk mallow and iso e super. Have smelled it before in other things and it's awful, synthetic dreck. The other review that said it made her gag in the drydown, I agree with that. Hope I'm not ruining this for anybody, but it's a huge miss for me. It is possible that fougere concoctions are simply not my cup of tea. At least now I know.

Kuty22

This is straight up men's cologne
Dry, unsweetened lavender it has a 'natural' smell. Not too perfumey or cologney
Light, soft fresh and dry. To me this is perfect for layering and it does give you that relaxing lavender vibe if you'd spray it on your pillows

CamillaAre

Citrusy in the opening and then quickly to soapy white musc. It´s not a sweet and cosy musc, it´s sharp and dry.

I don´t understand that it´s listed “woman”, especially from CK, because to me it´s super unisex.

Somebody wrote it smells YSL Libre or its flankers, I don´t see this at all. There´s no vanilla or woodiness in this one. YSL Libre has a sexy business woman vibe to it, whereas Obsession is more musky and soapy IMO. They have totally different vibes.

I would recommend this to someone who wore Body Shops White Musc during the 90´s.

It's very linear after 10 minutes, so this might be good for layering. Maybe to enhance musc in another fragrance or combine this one with something sweet to round the sharpness of the musc.

Darling of Disquiet

It was a bit jarring at first spray but by dry down it definitely started to remind me of highschool. Then bam it hit me, it's a remixed version of CK one.
I like it, it's definitely not a love, it's honestly not my type of fragrance but I like the nostalgia it brings to my mind.
It has decent legs and the sillage is good. I'll probably grab for it when I'm not going anywhere special and plan on being alone, especially since it's a nostalgic scent for me. It's great for what it is 🙂

Allegoria

Just to save someone from a blind buy gone wrong:

I liked this on a paper tester and so sprayed it liberally on my wrists. By the time I had gone back to my car, Obsessed had caught in the back of my throat and I quickly got nauseas. Had to go straight home and wash it off. And yet it still had a soft nice scent on the tester I kept!?? Go figure.

Might be best to try it on your skin for a few hours before purchase.

CypressSnow

Smells like fresh thyme, iso E super and ambroxan

Sade800

Smells just like CK one to me.

So I was too quick to leave a review.
This perfume smells like Obsession too.
Its like a fresh Obsession.
I like it!
It's very nice and makes me feel nostalgic.

It's also giving me slight hints of my all time favourite perfume Fendi which has been discontinued.

swedishmilk15

I wasn't expecting any resemblance to Obsession. And yet, while it certainly smells almost exactly like ck1, there is a spicy, ambery whisper that hearkens back to Obsession! I love this! I'm giving it as a gift to my ck1-loving mother but might need a bottle for myself.

Edit: Despite being the type of woman that would NOT wear Obsession, Mom likes it! This smells fantastic on her. Somehow this marries two scent profiles that seem diametrically opposed. You get all the aromatic lavender and bergamot zestiness of CK1 but with a warm and lovely lightly spiced amber underneath, from Obsession. Mom's been wearing it for spring but I think it will be awesome for autumn. I see CK1 as spring/summer and Obsessed as an autumn/winter variation.

thegoob

Obsessed can get too dense and heady (the musk is very noticeable) if you overspray, but misted once it smells fresh, a touch spicy, and the aromatic notes are softened and blurred by the musk, making it so feminine and sidewalk-wearable. Texturally it reminds me of Euphoria's seamless wood and orchid glow. White woods and minimalism.

jDaisy9

at first is good and after 5 minutes i got a headache

leahjay1990

At first spritz, it is very powdery. However, once it settles on my skin, I smell a hint of spiciness, kind of peppery. This scent isn't terrible, but I definitely wouldn't repurchase it.

melusina1982

The first bottle was bliss: lavender and sage combined in a masterful way to create herbal grounding zen. I loved it so much that I bought a second bottle, big mistake: It was a strange medicinal mess that turned stale and sour the moment it touched my skin.
A faulty bottle,a change in chemistry, hormones. I'll never know because the second experience put me off of it indefinitely.
I find that this is a common issue with most of the CK fragrances I've owned.

WildflowerWildfire

This makes my stomach turn inside out and gives me a headache. The heavy, powdery scent combined with something i can only describe as fever-like sweet, warm piss is too overwhelming for me.. I really wanted to like this since its such a signature, and i´ve never had such a reaction to any kind of perfume before. This is best worn at night-time.. home alone in my honest opinion..

washudtoj

Obsessed for Women opens with a very sharp smell. I can't quite pin down what it is, but it could be a combination of ambrette, bergamot, and citrus. I think this is the stage where a lot of people are put off and dismiss this as a men's cologne.

However, that opening doesn't last longer than a few minutes. After that, you get a very musky and lavender-y purple flowers (wisteria and lilac) scent, which is extremely pleasant compared to its sharp opening. It reminds me of a softer version of A Drop d'Issey.

Overall, I would recommend Obsessed for women over 30 years of age. It smells pretty decently, and it does stand out compared to other female fragrances out there. Nonetheless, I would suggest that one should also try A Drop d'Issey since the dry down of these two scents are very similar, and A Drop has much better projection and lasts longer, as well. I think A Drop is a better investment, but if you prefer a quieter scent, this one will do.

sofia.rose

Musky and clean. I would recommend this perfume if you're looking for a simple scent to go with a minimalist aesthetic. I wouldn't recommend lathering it on though, it can become quite overpowering and turn medicinal instead of aromatic and spicy.

Szafirowy czar

Not my favourite fragrance, too spicy for me

sugar&spice

To follow up my review below, I think this perfume should have been called Calvin Klein Serenity. Calling it Obsessed is deceptive, for it smells nothing like it's counterpart, Obsession. Serenity would also befit a CK fragrance in line with names like Beauty and Eternity. I believe this perfume is underrated partly because of its name.

sugar&spice

In search of something comforting and calming, I spontaneously bought Obsessed for Women today. The 30ml bottle is cute beyond belief - like a large, smooth pebble in my palm - and the design is elegant and simple, like the perfume itself. It has a delicate musky sillage; lavender strongly present but not overpowering; softened by gentle herbs, light florals and citrus notes. I've shied away from lavender in perfume until now, previously thinking I like to smell it but not smell OF it, but there is something in the way this fragrance is blended that exudes warmth and depth, eradicating any trace of air-freshener-sharpness that lavender can bring. As the scent settles, the scent becomes more radiant and other florals come to light. Very pleased with this purchase!

Emera1d

This is a good fresh and herbal lavender scent. The only problem for me is the medicinal smell, like the smell of breaking an aspirin in two, and it is he only reason I couldn't wear it so I passed it along. The search for a good lavender scent continues...

rihabi

I ordered this as my mom had the body lotion from it and I quite liked it, but the fragrance itself is a bit different from the bottle. Smells unisex definitely, very herbal and the lavender is very prominent. It won't be my "spray-and-go" perfume, but will give it a try.

chinna

Oh my ...!! Im just a little bit disappointed because the lavender note is not the most prominent , I get an herbal powdery dry wonderfully natural lavender a few moments behind top notes that later almost dissapear. Top notes scared me, it seems to be a floral scent in the beginning.
Then comes the powdery lavender and citruses stay behind.
And I thought that I hate sage, but here with white musk and iso e super , is kinda comforting ,soft , fresh, watery herbal. Not like a tea, but like a cool water pool with some herbal mix .
During the dry down I smelled a soapy vibe that is gone quickly. And a masculine twist become with sage but Is gone fast when flowers win the competition. Then all notes complements so well between them that is a great masterpiece in my opinion.
I remember a Prada in my collection when I sprayed is one of my clean scents.
It seems like a very powerful scent, is not a completely weak smell.
And finally yes this one remind Ck One.
I think that even if I don't get a lavender queen I'm gonna enjoy this beauty.

Dort0625

I was gifted a travel spray bottle of this-15mls or so, and I hope to hold me over with it until I buy the full size! Something to note is that I LOVE YSL’s Libre in all of her three ways lol (EDP, Intense, EDT) and I had no idea this smells THE EXACT SAME!!!! Which 1) it’s way cheaper 2) I love Calvin Klein 3) did I mention it’s way cheaper, like 100 dollars a bottle cheaper when purchased online!!!!! This is incredible! I couldn’t be happier that I stumbled onto this info!

Mona708

An instant favorite right out of the box due to a prominent lavender note and a pleasant fresh vibe! My only gripe is its shorter longevity- another hour or two would be great! I found this on Overstock for less than $30, which is a steal compared to the $67 they want for it at Kohl’s. This is a wonderful casual perfume; great for work or just going about your day.

jjaqueline

Oh boy! I love everything about this fragrance, but its name. The bottle is gorgeous, lovely to hold, the fragrance is so pleasant, there is the white lavender, the citrus without being harsh or too zest, it is comforting, easy, classy, young, charming - nothing to do with the name "OBSESSED". I would have called CK Clean, CK Calm, CK Peace, or even CK 2 or 3 :-)

SapphireSun

I completely adore this. The bottle is so lovely and relaxing to hold it's like a glass pebble. I adore the citruses, lavender and sage, its extremely relaxing and excellent to wear at bedtime to get soothing sleep. I also brought the black intense one and I love that too. 💛💚🧡

tessture

I was hoping to get the aromatic herbal citrus musks, but instead this smells on my skin like a version of Rouge Assassin. There’s a metallic element I don’t love, and some soft face-powder-like notes, the herbal hit of the sage, which is very pleasant, and the faintest floral element. Side by side with RA, Rouge Assassin is more powdery and the Obsessed has more sage, but they are definitely similar. Obsessed is pleasant enough but it's also much thinner and sheerer and doesn't last long.

Tulpan

Very aromatic fragrance - citrusy with herbs, can smell the lavender. It can almost be a unisex fragrance, but it has a softness to it. Great for hot summer days, as it is a refreshing and clean scent.

tessiebee

I just don't get a lot out of this one. Ive got the rollerball version and I have my share of aromatics, I'm not afraid of sharp, herbal or masculine scents.
I can barely smell anything!
I get a very weak, sharp kind of herby watery scent despite however much I put on. It's a skin scent from the off, barely any projection. Nose to wrist and I get a bit of lavender, something quite warm spicy, and musk, an inch away from my wrist and it's faded into water.

Shame.

pleasuretoburn

This, to me, is toned-down CK One. I was obsessed (hah!) with CK One when I was a teenager because it was *the* scent to wear. I only ever got to own knockoffs myself, but my friend had a bottle she was particularly protective of, and I would sneak a small spritz here or there. It feels very familiar, but it has less sharp citrus than One does. It is almost like CK perfected the drydown of CK one without the initial blast that can knock you off of your feet and bottled it as this. I find it to be understated and a great "white t-shirt" kind of scent for a funky 36 year old woman like myself. I would totally buy a bottle of this for myself to wear in warmer weather or when I want to remember my youth without just revisiting the same scents again and again.

It's an addiction

I discovered I had a sample of this, so went ahead and sprayed it on a pillow (as I was already testing a different one on my wrist) and I am glad I did. I like a heavy one, but this opening was almost killing me; basically a very strong cheap aftershave. After that finally toned down a little, it’s very similar to one of the CK unisex fragrances as well as the silver 8x4 deodorant, that everyone had about 15 years ago and I believe was also unisex.

DT953

I've not worn this for ages but I decided to put a bit on this evening and remembered why I purchased it to begin with. It's an oddly textured fragrance, kind of juicy. The lavender is soft and the muskiness works with the thyme so well. It's a bit more sweet than one would expect, but not too sweet. Somewhat abnormal for a modern fragrance.

MahaS

Despite the bad reviews I decided to take the risk and purchase it. As soon as I got it I sprayed it on once before taking a shower and I didn't like it. I agreed on what everyone said that it was too masculine. I left it in it's original box just in case.

Today I decided to give it one more try before getting rid of it. I sprayed it on my wrists and neck before coming to work. I must say that at the beginning it's like a mixture of CK women and CK Be, it was a strong masculine scent and I was convinced that I made a wrong decision and said to myself: oh well! I will have to live with it today.

Now, after 3 hours I realized that it smells so nice. To me it's very similar to CK women and the CK be is slightly there, the herbal notes are very subtle, it's smooth and not pungent. I am definitely keeping this, I would wear this more towards spring and even summer. I am very versatile with fragrances so I don't mind something a little different, but for those people that like pretty girl fragrances this is not for you. I would recommend that you give it a try before purchasing, but I am giving it a good review it just needs some time to settle on skin.

EDIT: It's been 6 hours since I sprayed this perfume on and I can still smell it. A skin scent but not a weak or barely there kind of skin scent. I am pleasantly surprised.

JustSimpleThings

From the first moment on, it reminded me of a men's aftershave. I tried to undo the association but it was impossible.

I think I would really like this scent on a man! On a man, it would be quite sexy and daring. On me, it just feels like I spritzed my boyfriend's aftershave on myself by accident - no fun...

raiza1990

Fresh, clean, powdery, a bit sweet and a bit herbal. Very pleasant. Simple, calm and elegant. Great value for the money. I recommend it to a down-to-earth and modern woman.
Sillage is soft, longevity is moderate.
Final note: 7/10

NoelleNice

This is quite fresh and pleasant and I like it more than most CK fragrances. It’s a nice, light daywear lavender. It has a herbal edge and just enough hint of floral to keep it interesting and from becoming too fresh or spicy. Obsessed leans towards unisex rather than being a particularly feminine fragrance. There is the slightest hint of a men’s sporty, cologne vibe. There is an aroma chemical current that runs through the whole affair which must be the Iso E Super so my recommendation to anyone who dislikes or is fickle with these sorts of notes is to try before you buy as it’s quite prominent on some skin like mine.

Lupacan

I usually love CK perfumes and I like to wear unisex fragrance but this is very masculine to my taste.

dglightblue

obsessed for women

i tried this the other day and i really was not sure about the opening it was a bit nausiating the way the aromatics and woody whatever was happening on my skin.

today i tried it at another store and this is much softer and the lavender and herby flowers are more of the relaxing type.

this lasted longer on me the other day when i wasnt keen on the opening, the dry down was the beautiful powdery herby florals. today its behaving a bit dryer.

i will try this a few more times. its different than obsession, and the eternity line. the ck one/be line isnt similar either on me. its possible this version has more to do with the mens fragrances from the aforementioned lines??

Timmyheather

When I first sampled this, I laughingly dismissed it as smelling like the ‘90’s. There is something that feels reminiscent of CK fragrances that were popular when I was a teen, but it’s not really fair to bunch this in and dismiss it so casually.

Obsessed is lavender and herbs, fresh and sweet, that float on a foundation of clean-feeling musks with a touch of citrus. It lasts and lingers, a polite companion, without overwhelming or intruding.

I chose this to wear on a school field trip with my daughter, where we would spend the day either enclosed in a school bus or out in hot sunny conditions. It was perfect: not nauseatingly sweet, always fresh and clean, and strong enough to stay around for a few hours without annoying others around me. It’s my summer chill in a bottle.

kalltkaffe

I tested it a couple of days ago to compare with CK be, and indeed, they do have a lot in common. I'd say Obsessed is a more ‘mature’ and polished version of CK Be. Clean and calming, a perfect fragrance to pair with a white shirt.
Surprisingly good longevity! I still caught whiffs of Obsessed late into the night.

HOUSTONHOUSTON

The same here! I saw it online and thought that it is a fake Obsession. LOL

fihe

This is not at all a review, but just wanted to share that for a while I thought this was an imitation of Obsession when I kept seeing it on eBay. It wasn't until I found it on FragranceNet that I realized it's real. Is Calvin Klein trying to mess with people?

odorenasum

I gave this scent a couple of tries before I could write a review. At first, I was very much in the middle. Couldn't decide if I liked it or not. It took me getting this fragrance out of the house and into another setting that really brought this beauty to the like side. It's a very pleasant fragrance, light, powdery. soft citrus and white musky. The opening is a wonderful mix of fresh, light citrus's and neroli. After that, the middle gives you some soft whispering violet floral with an ever so light green vibe from the lavender and sage. The dry down is soft and musk like, although it tends to get a little "common" smelling after it sits on the skin for a while. I really did a turn around on this one. It's very user friendly and perfect for all different kinds of occasions. This could go unisex, but it's made in a male version as well which smells very nice, albeit a bit "common smelling" like a lot of men's fragrances nowadays. I'm happy now that I like it :)

PricklyAndHot

Not the best lavender fragrance.

Summer.ladon.smith

An ideal scent for office workers. I would say for both sexes, all notes in this blend are quite neutral. Lavender, sage and musk are at the forefront of this olfactory with musk-mellow, violet leaf, elemi and iso E in the back ground given it that earthy metallic, super clean, modern chic vibe. Very reminiscent of CK be.

damienthoresson

Genuinely enjoyable. Like with Obsessed for Men, the scent isn't totally detectable at first. However (with overspraying, mind you) it does last quite a while - at least 9 hours on my skin.

It's a very herbaceous lavender scent, not at all scratchy but also not entirely natural. This doesn't read as unpleasant. I got a 90mL of this with a 75mL of the men's version.

As some have pointed out, this may read as a bit masculine on some people. The men's version is definitely masculine. Granted, both would smell lovely on a woman. The sage in this and, perhaps, lime really lift this up.

stacia79

Ok so this is nice but it seriously smells like they took a little bit of cKone and a little bit of cKbe and mixed them together in a new bottle and slapped a name on it that's a nod to Obsession (doesn't smell anything like Obsession though, not even a bit)
So it's nice because cKone and cKbe are nice. But what kind of trickery is this anyway?

Timby

This is SO forgettable, so pandering to trend. Poor longevity, poor silage.
I dont know, not a good addition to the CK array of scents.

shaddick

I love this! I wore CK One for a bit back in the 90s and this reminds me of a grown up version of it. The initial blast is masculine, but it softens to a crisp, clean scent. It does’t remind me of Obsession at all...in the best way. I can’t wait to buy a giant bottle of this. It’s perfect for both day or night, which is exactly what I’ve been searching for. Perfection.

masako_30

It's magical for me.
At the end of the day, when I think it's gone, it reserves me its beautiful surprise.

greyhoundmom

A higher quality version of Burberry Brit Rhythm. I owned both but decided to keep this one because it's just gorgeous. Unisex lavender with dense, velvety musk. This surrounds the wearer in a cloud...it is strong stuff with nuclear projection and super long lasting.

It is so remarkably similar to Rhythm but with an herbal lavender instead of a laundry detergent lavender. Also, Rhythm's musk has a sharp acridness in the dry down while Obsessed's musk is clean and round. Basically Rhythm is Hershey's and Obsessed is Godiva.

This is a favorite of mine for those white t shirt and blue jeans casual sexy kind of days.

BlackLace

Have you ever smelled a perfume and said to yourself "this should be illegal"? That's what I thought when I smelled this.

meg0825

The lavender note is too strong for my taste. This is a very masculine fragrance, which I know is part of the concept of this perfume, but I don't care for it. Maybe I should try the men's version, I might like it better.

blackmartini

I find this sharp, cloying and pretty synthetic. Biggest let down of 2017.

Frayja

Simple and inoffensive,an ok for daily use.
Reminds me much of Jil Sander's Pure.

genny17

This is a new review, upon wearing it again, I realized it is quite masculine in the top notes, and it stopped me dead in my tracks..in summer it is more fresh aromatic, but in winter, it is all unisex lavender after shave vibe..i guess I will revisit it in warmer weather..!

Piscean-Blue

How strange- to name this fragrance "Obsessed". There's nothing obsessive about this stuff. It's a pleasant, crisp, generic pick-me-up type of affair.

Other than a similar name Obsessed has nothing to do with the original Obsession. It comes off as a CK One flanker- almost a twin sister. Cute but nothing earth shattering going on here.

I'd say because of its simple unisexish vibe, it'd make a good starter fragrance for a young teen. Or someone who's really into lavender. But no one should be paying anything more than twenty bucks for a full bottle.

Martina Chlupackova

I like this frag. It is a more mature version of CK One with lots of lavender and musk on the top. I must admit that the male version is much better and I would swap it anytime. Wonder what´s the new flanker gonna be like, but the notes and the black bottle are promising.

Nil3

Smelled it at the airport and was super positively surprised to realize that this is a hardcore intense version of his classic ' CK Be'.

As I verified the notes of the 2, it was confirmed that I was right.
So easily a unisex as well.

I really liked it!

Fluffyandpuffy

Definitely a gender bender but in a nice way. It’s got kinda like an aftershave vibe at first. Smells like I just been kissing my man after he gets ready of a morn. Yea kinda hot that way. Then it calms down to softer scent after a while.

justfloral

English Lavender Contemporary Edition !! + CK One. Nice.

olga_adriana

I love this. I find it very avant garde. It has a masculine vibe, and yet the composition masters the art of making totally feminine. I find this scent very unique and addictive, and I have quite high standards in that arena. I'm generally a fan of Calvin Klein fragrances and I find them oftentimes very underappreciated. I find this scent very classy, sophisticated, and sexy. It's not sweet, or obnoxious. It's not juvenile. The lavender, sage, and musk are beautifully blended. The result is very unique. I really like this fragrance and I find it to be a refreshing different offer compared to the typical.

I actually find this perfume remarkable, classy, sensual, different, and very memorable. It
s an impressive release from Calvin Klein. I've bought a full bottle and I think I will really enjoy this one.

englishroses

I love wearing this as much as I'd love to smell it on a guy. unisex, 90s cologne style. A malty wheat-like lavender, herbal sage, and a citrus and musk sharpness. Aftershave bite to it, but balanced by a soapy bubble-bath softness. Totally underrated.

cherubkiss

I am very impressed with this perfume. I find it fresh, clean, relaxing and calm. A fragrance for day wear only. It is light and airy and totally different from Obsession. I really like this perfume. The notes have been blended well.

acegik123

I was looking for the perfect combination of citrus, sweet, and floral .. This is it .. There is nothing particularly special about Obsessed, but it's very appealing and it's just a safe choice for a nice fresh smell. I noticed it works better as a body spray, it blends beautifully with the natural oils of the skin. And for me, it's one of the very few perfumes that I like the way they smell from the minute they're sprayed until they fade, I love all its notes. Though it doesn't last that long unfortunately.

mamufa

It seduced me with its fresh hebral tones. Lavender, sage, soft, feminine, fresh. I bought it immediately. Half an hour later it turned very sweet. It bothered me a bit, but now I like it very much.
I guess I am the lucky one cuz on me it lasts over 12 hours. One spray on wrist lasted from 6 a.m. and was still there at 7 p.m.
I work in my office with 2 other collegues and many come and go during the day, so I need something light unoffensive, but still noticeable. and I guess Obsessed is perfect for this purpose.
Unfortunatelly way too expensive in the moment.

Relaying on your reviews I blind bought CK One be cuz it was being compared to Obsessed. Waiting for it to arrive

diamond74

It's Ck One, with a little lavender thrown in. The end. Lol

cocolover56

This is actually quite lovely - I'm puzzled by the dislike for it. In a way, I get it - it's either a.) something people majorly dislike, which is fair or b.) something, like Gabrielle, that people irrationally hate because its new.

I actually think that the lavender and herbs in this take quite a feminine lean in this fragrance, being a bit more pretty while also being stoic and elegant... elegant lite. It's like an 'l'Eau' version of a beautiful, mossy lavender scent for any age.

Rather beautiful... may consider buying it, honestly.

Atreyu_Crimmins

Woodsy scent with kisses of sage, smoke and neroli.

It opens with fresh lavender ensconced in a gorgeous trail of sage and musk, making it narcotic, aromatic, and penetrating. Then the neroli and citrus give it a soft and sensuous depth. There's a hint of tobacco here accentuating the underlying tension between male and female.

Definitely a unisex frag, Obsessed has seduced me. Just beautiful.

As someone who's loved Obsession since its early days, I'm puzzled by the way Calvin Klein has managed the flankers for this scent. With the exception of Obsession Sheer, which is a total gem, the flankers seem to have little relationship to the original. (Secret Obsession and Obsession Summer, I'm looking at you!) Obsession is just a cash cow brand for CK which is a shame.

That said, Obsessed isn't bad at all, in fact, I like it a lot. It reminds me of a very much-improved version of Brit Rhythm. Instead of a laundry soap lavender, Obsessed has a true, biting lavender note that is softened by sage. The resin and musk mallow bring a balanced bottom note.

Obsessed is probably going to disappear - mostly because it's such a disappointment to Obsession fans who are looking for something related to Obsession. Judged on its own merits, Obsessed actually quite nice. That's true of many of the Obsession flankers; they are good on their own, but disappointing to someone looking for something related to Obsession.

ScarlettX

In my opinion the opening is very-very masculine, like it's a men's cologne. It gets softer, but the lavender is on top of everything and it bothers me a little bit.
It's stronger than I thought.
Not a bad scent, but I don't think it's a special one.
It could be an everyday scent for someone.

COSMICSCENTS

Daaamnn this is good stuff!!! It reminds me a little of D&G Feminine but with a hint of sweetness, not too sweet, it's a fresh scent and I am addicted to it! I love the name and everything about it, can't wait to have it in my collection. Finally Calvin Klein made another hit perfume, this one is going straight up on top of my "I want list" Love love love!!!:)

Next day review: I can still smell it on my clothes very strong, this is a great perfume!!! A masterpiece in my book. :)

Sammi_co

I find it strange that this perfume is getting so much hate. Personally I love it. I find it soft and fresh. But it is completely inoffensive. So while I completely understand if this isn’t everyone’s thing, I think the fragrance should be judged on its own. It seems that a lot of people are disappointed it didn’t meet expectations for something more like the original Obsession. Obsession is amazing, deep, sexy and intoxicating. It doesn’t need a clone, it’s perfect as is. It’s nice that Obsessed is something different. I think even the presentation gives the impression that it’s a soft fresh scent. If it had no affiliation to Obsession I wonder how different the reviews would be.

Edit: I finally purchased this yesterday and sprayed it on and love it. It’s now the following morning and I can still smell it. My skin eats perfume and with this being a soft style of scent I was expecting to need regular top ups but the performance on this is excellent. Love love love it!!

mirisfrik

Something old, something new and we have New CK One with beautiful lavandel note. CK One used to be plain and a little sharp.. Now, it is softened in Obsessed bottle. I like it. Its pleasant, a little bit intriguing, but not dirty. Pretty longlasting on my skin. Added to wishlist

Gabler

To be honest - I don´t know what to say about this "stuff". Obsessed is nice and uncomplicated perfume. Yes, it is... But nothing special, nothing new. Just another money making product with no extra ambitions.

amanda7

Such a name for such an anonymous scent. No relation to Obsession. Obsession for teenagers maybe, but they need their scents too. It is difficult to remember it or recognize it from other modern fragrances aimed for young crowd who wish to smell the same as anyone else and do not appreciate something original. I´m sorry to write this but another lost chance.

mudpach

What the ... this is the worst fragrance that I tried in this year (century?). Incomprehensible.

kristen0129

I am disturbed by name. Why couldn't they make it as a completely new perfume? Because the name can cause many misunderstandings: Obsession or Obsessed to buy for wife? They both are like day and night, any mistake can be big deal. The idea is to celebrate Obsession, please make Obsession Extract or whatever. I bet it would be more profitable, because audience is looking for deep dark vanilla scents.
Anyway, perfume is smelling of face cream. I can't tell exactly which. Nivea? Probably I could wear it with office clothes or t shirts as it doesn't evoke big love or hate.

LadyPilot

I tested it today and I don't think I'll feel like testing it again. It features and underlines all the notes from CK ONE that I dislike - strengthened musk and pharmaceutical/herbal notes. Generally - an uninspiring scent, neither fresh nor cosy - just boring and not expressive at all.

Agafia

The scent is very plain, classic, sheer cologne, what you see is what you get. But the voice in the ad is very sexy (Mario Sorrenti). :D

myra83

Isaw all comment here.. i agree it has ckB similarity.. but my nose told that this obssese also got c.kBeuty DNA in this juice at the first note.

LisaMari

to me,it smells almost exactly like CK One

Mbrock

Smells like Mens. I thought they had given me the wrong sample. Not feminine at all. I would never wear this, I dont want to smell like my husband when I reach for a perfume.

Siv7Stars

Cool fresh spicy and to me quite unisex.. the dry down is very slightly aftershavey.. I would second Kateri81 that it's vibe is like wearing the guy's shirt the morning after.. Really not sure about this.. the middle is the best (most feminine) bit for me but the dry down is too manly.
And the bottle really puts me off, it is so dull! For Obsessed I would think the concept needed to be far stronger, the scent kinda works (even though I'm not keen) but the bottle ought to be black marbled with white or gold veins or something?

Kateri81

This is nice stuff. Sweet and musky lavender. Close to the skin. Kind of "I'm wearing mah man's T-shirt in the morning (after we spent night together) while drinking coffee and smiling silly". I like it lot. Nothing groundbreaking, but it is a little sexy thing. I'll get it for myself.

AmoreProfumi

At first when I tested this I though it was the men's & someone perhaps mixed up the bottles at the counter until I seen the tiny print that said.. for women.. Not sayint it smells totally masculine just to me it's kinda borderline masc. Maybe it's b/c to me also I picked up a familiar DNA to that of CK2.. it's like they took CK2 and just added some more floral tones to it..I didn't totally hate this but I deff. didn't like it as much as the Men's version. The men's actually has some personality to it, where this lacks a bit.

OlfactoryLover

They should have called it "Obsessed With Bubble Baths". Seriously, this is all I can smell.
I think it smells alright if you like smelling hygienic but this has NOTHING to do with Obsession! They should have started a new line. This is another one of those "millennial" fragrances clinging on to the purse strings of it's predecessor.
Credit where credit is due though. At least it isn't another fruity floral.

autumn777

I tried this at the mall today and am very tempted to buy. I want to try the male version first and see if they put out a gift set for the upcoming holidays. Bright, clean with a kick of woods thrown in. The bottle fits the juice - clean, fresh but classy. I can see this being a great everyday scent.

Kmam

I get the hate on for this in the reviews, but I actually like it.

It's fresh, soapy and a bit herbal. I like the lavender aspect to it. I love the fact that it's clear in the bottle. I like the 90's feeling and a bit masculine opening. I'm wearing it on a hot day and it's perfectly pleasant.

What I don't get at all is the marketing and how it's supposed to be "evocative" of anything other than fresh, soapy and a bit herbal.

Like others have said, I REALLY liked the men's version and may try that on skin next.

comfortablynumb83

Light and fresh. Lavender stands out the most to me. I think it's a very nice casual scent but this is another one I wouldn't purchase simply because it is like so many other clean scents. The men's version though, I love that! I think it's actually unisex.

Arlene-Beatrix

At first it's very teasing and aromatic. Slightly masculine, I would say. Later it is very light and herbal. Obsessed is hardly a good name for it! Well, such name describes only the top notes. It should rather be named like Obsession Cologne or similarly.

Becw08

I wore obsession in my late teens and early 20s.
It was a thing of beauty.
This?
This smells like mouthwash.
How is this even anything to do with the original?
Calvin Klein are obviously getting in on the flanker action like YSL with opium and guerlian and the hundreds of petit robe noir flankers.
Old cynic that I am I'm afraid I see these perfumes as simply money makers for the houses, trading on past glories.
It's a shame.

JickyJicky

It sucks to see so many negative reviews but fragrance is about preference and this obviously isn't for everyone. I however adore this juice, it's subdued and perfect for everyday and isn't season specific. I see this potential as a signature scent vs. one for wardrobing. The white lavendar and sage are very calming.

lulu169

it smells exactly like the bottle suggests - like nothing. transparent, boring, unmemorable. who needs this...

sandrabarber

As an original Onsession nut, I was excited to try this. I tested this earlier today and can't get the smell off my wrist even after two good washes! I loved the way it smelt at first spray, but now I really don't like it. All I can smell is musk mallow, which to my nose is one of the nastiest, dirtiest assaults on the senses you can get.

Aromatyu

For the first time I'm disappointed with CK... Such a promising offer, and all you get is CK One poured in a new flacon. 90s, unisex and aftershave. I'll go cry for a couple of minutes now.

IkuraGirl

Aromatic? Yes. Musky? Yes. Unisex? That too. But this juice, for however tempting, lasted less than 10 minutes on my skin and was gone. Gone. I was shocked, and even got the cosmetician to sniff my arm, just to see if I was imagining things. She looked at me, and said, verbatim: "Well, it's... um, soft." Soft.

The longevity on my skin was beyond ephemeral: it was non-existent.

For those of us who grew up with Mossey, there's definitely a compelling 90's nostalgic pull. But for me, the love train stops there: if I wanted to wear facial toner as perfume, I would do it. Probably to greater satisfaction.

Also, I wish it lustier, earthier, richer, creamier. Because whenever I've been obsessed with someone, or something, intensity of feeling, of concentration, of desire, is paramount. To be obsessed is to be nearly consumed by something. And I feel like this juice, with its aromatic, herbal, musky notes sparks quite the opposite in me: indifference.

Germany

Obsessed is a great scent , it's pleasing as an everyday clean soapy fresh ,warm and rich scent. It's perfectly unisex and smells amazing on my husband as well. He liked it so much on me that he said this would be a scent he would also wear and it reminds him of some of his colognes he said. I agree, it's like smelling a trace of him on me.
Soapy , clean and lavender. Slightly sweet and herbal. I really smell a lot of amberette musk mallow ,which works great in this scent.
Loving this in the heat right now.

Whit

I got to sniff this the other day, and well, I actually like it. Honestly, it does remind me of CK Be too, just stronger. The opening is very musky but all of the other notes seem to be well blended. And yes, it's very 90's and very unisex. I'm not actually sure why CK released a women's and men's version, as a man can easily pull off the women's version. I see this as a relaxing scent that's good for all seasons. It's a very casual, almost lounging around kind of scent. I let my hubby sniff it and he loved it. He actually told me "You should buy that. It smells great!" For me, it takes me back to high school, remembering those days chilling at the lake after school with my best friend. We'd spray on some CK One (or CK Be) and try to chat up cute guys. Oh those happy, fun memories!

The name "Obsessed" doesn't suit it; "90's Nostalgia" would've been a better name, because that's what the scent evokes. It's not a big sillage bomb, but the longevity is good. If you were (or still are) a fan of CK One and CK Be, do try this one.

lizzyshreds

I smelled this in Cosmo August issue, and I really like it, like others have said it does have similarities to CK BE, I also see this as unisex. To me this perfume is a throwback to the 90's it's nice, and a calm perfume I really can smell the White Lavender, sage, clean musk with amberette, slight citrus, and slight neroli. I ordered a bottle online, should have it by next week.

nitschevo

A breath of fresh air. I agree that this is unisex (both are) and can be worn by both sexes. Fresh lavender, that turns more musky and warm in the dry down. Perfect for spring and summer, a little too light (at least for my liking) for fall and winter. The
imagery def fits the scent, in my mind. Clean, minimal with a sultry edge. That is if you too think that there is a certain sex appeal in the clean designs of CK. I do :)

blacklibran1.1

Found out what this reminds me of ... a more potent CKBE!!!! The dry down is identical!! Unisex unisex unisex unisex

blacklibran1.1

Just picked this up from Macy's and its a little masculine. Almost unisex. Smells very woodsy musky . This is a true accomplishment In marrying the two and actually still remaining feminine. It does smell familiar and not something I would wear in the summer. It's definitely a fall winter scent. It's very clean and the dry down is quite musky. This would smell fantastic on a man in a suit and after a nice shower. Totally different than anything else Calvin Klein has put out in years. Winner

genny17

Just bought it this morning, and at first sniff I must say I really like it ! Lots of white lavender, very different from the usual lavender, which can be pugent, and unisex, and overly herbal...this is a smoother softer lavender...Looking at all the notes, i don't get any citrus, or violet leaf...but i get the musk, fresh musk, and the sage, but nothing screechy or overly aromatic there., I get a bit of elemi. But not much more of the other notes mentioned...no idea what helvetolide smells like!?..it has nothing to do with Noah by Cacharel in my opinion, which is more powdery floral This has its own little character, kind of a fresh watery scent, with the white lavender dominating gently..it gets sweet in the base, but naturally sweet..now, it has a bit of ressemblance with Mon Guerlain, like they smell a bit alike for a while..but I feel Mon Guerlain is sweeter ..
I am enjoying it and very happy I bought it, it is feminine, easy to wear, and is different from most scents out there...great!! My friend was asking me if it was a clean scent, and maybe in a way it could be a natural scent !? Like not a laundry scent, which I dislike,.Obsessed has some warmth..although it doesn't have monster projection, it lingers nicely, longevity is nice.
Not sure if the name refers to Obsession, but they have nothing in common. Obsessed is a simple yet happy and soft scent, not sophisticated, just for a day to day perfume..

YanaYanaYana

@HumesMistress Macys sells it on their website, idk about stores.

Vicky90

This might sound totally crazy, but when spraying, this takes me back to being 11 years old, when I had a cheap dupe (SAVAGE, I know!) for Cacharel's Noa. So for me personally, it feels a little 90s, but I definitely appreciate that it's different from all the fruity florals brands keep spawning.

NOTES (from calvinklein.us):
Top: Sacred Citrus / Neroli Essence / Elemi
Heart: Violet Leaf Absolute / White Lavender / Purple Sage
Base: Musk / Helvetolide / Ambrette Muscenone
