Good Girl Légère by Carolina Herrera is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Good Girl Légère was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Louise Turner. Top notes are Ylang-Ylang, Mandarin Orange, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Tuberose, Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Bulgarian Rose; base notes are Dulce de leche, Praline, Tonka Bean, Cinnamon, Cashmirwood, Sandalwood, Musk, Amber, Patchouli and Cedar.

In February 2018, Carolina Herrera comes out with Good Girl Eau de Parfum Légère, the new edition of Good Girl fragrance from 2016. The original was conceived as representation of the duality of a woman’s character, with an addictive combination of tuberose and roasted tonka bean.

Good Girl Légère is a lighter, more floral version of the oriental, floral and gourmand original. It keeps the notes of jasmine, which are enhanced and enriched ylang-ylang. Tuberose is toned down, with no coffee note. The base keeps tonka bean and sandalwood in its composition.

The fragrance is available as a 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum Légère.

It's a fresh, long-lasting, sweet and spicy amber scent that an elegant, edgy woman would wear.

fangirleche

Let me start off by saying I LOVE the OG. It’s a sexy, gourmand like take on white florals. Supreme is also an amazing flanker. With that being said, this unfortunately is not a flanker that works for me. It smells like the OG DNA dripping in Dulce de Leche & Ylang Ylang, and on my skin it turns sour on me. It doesn’t help it either that I dislike dulce de leche irl and ylang ylang is one of my least favorite florals. But my mom LOVES IT and it smells absolutely amazing on her. It’s also very long lasting & has monster projection like all of the GG flankers.

Andy224

An improved version of the OG with a creamier, sexier vibe and MUCH better lasting power. Probably My favorite flanker out of the GG line.

lipstickandperfume

It’s very sweet, but in a mature way. Think of a woman in her 40’s that is wanted by every man on earth. The caramel note is very dominating, and I love how it blends with sandalwood and rose

Elyka21

I absolutely love this one. There is a lovely super addictive sweet dominant note, probably Dulce de leche, that reminds me of childhood, joy, cozy evenings by the fire, bright sunny carefree days. Such a shame it performs so lightly on my skin. I wish it was slightly stronger. The top notes are almost inexistent to my nose, the white flowers are very subtle and complement the base notes, I feel no rose. It is a very well blended perfume. For me this is definitely a super safe day time perfume, very light, creamy and sweet, inoffensive, I will be wearing it a lot at work.

girldeadbug

Located in US, anybody want to sell me their bottle or possibly swap for it? Only looking for the 2.7oz (the biggest size).

Goldena35

This is definitely sweet…rather “perfumey” and opens very hit you in the face strong! Picking up the yellow floral aspect big time here. I can feel the citrus but I don’t necessarily pick out any specific notes. It has an airy feeling to it which is odd because it also feels heavy. During the dry down that citrus does seem to clash in a rather unpleasant way with the heavy sweet gourmand notes. (Yes, I read that under the negatives but halfway through my wear I was like 🤔 what is the odd twist that’s going on here? AND that’s exactly what it was! ) Also, the performance is weird… I would liken this perfume to the drunk at a party that gets super loud when they are happy drunk, and then slumps off quietly in a corner and passes out. I bought my bottle very cheap and I wouldn’t go as far to say that I do not like it, because there are parts that I do enjoy. I think it’s the citrus that turns me off. It seems to fight rather than enhance the rest of the notes and seems very out of place. I kinda dig the sweet, warm, yellow floral vibe. I wish it stayed there (probably should try one of the other million flankers lol). Will more than likely gift to someone in my life.

Sapri

This is like a lighter brighter version of the original good girl. I actually like it better than the original. It projects well and lasts a long time.

Maciloves2smellgood

I followed a girl at the airport because I needed to know what she was wearing. I know it's so weird/creepy describing how another person smells and I say this in a non-creepy way. She smelled so feminine & sweet. The scent trail was a sweet, chocolate, woody, floral, vanilla scent. It was so intoxicating to me, I needed to smell like that. I followed her and asked her what she was wearing. She said the perfume shaped as a heel.

That weekend I went to Nordstroms to buy the Carolina Herrera perfume but saw that there were flankers to the Good Girl perfume and went based off of memory and smelled the bottles, not spray, or test on the skin, but by smelling the bottles (huge mistake I know!).
I picked the Legre up because it was the closest smelling one to me based off of my memory. REGRETS! This perfume is cloying, scratchy, annoying. The smell does not mellow as the day goes on. I cannot describe the scent because I have not picked it up in a long time because of how obnoxious it is, and I do not want to test it again because of how much I hated it. I guess it's a good thing that the staying power is strong for those who like this fragrance, but it's no for me.
The scent is overbearing and obnoxious! This was definitely before I thoroughly did my research before buying fragrances, and I know when I described the scent trail I described the notes on the OG, but after reading the reviews and people stating that they smell identical it makes me not want to purchase the OG.

Laura Ke

I Bought it from another parfumista and i really love this fragrance, it is not a soft fragrance in My eyes, good performance and longevity! I recommand it of people may smell your New fragrance!!

booksandcats457

Lighter version of the original, still sweet but not as heavy and dense. I can detect the citrus in here lifting it up and giving it lightness. If you found the original too heavy-hitting, you may like this one. I think this one is maybe a little more versatile - it comes across as more of a daytime scent than the original. I daresay this one may even be office-appropriate, if applied with a light hand. I still get pleasant whiffs of it though after only a couple of sprays on the back of my neck, so it does still has the strong sillage that I’ve come to associate with the entire Good Girl line. And unfortunately I think this is being discontinued in 2024, however it’s currently still widely available including at the major department stores and directly on the Carolina Herrera website.

wondervalley666

I agree with many reviews here including the one below me. Personally though I was a bit disappointed by my purchase. The scent is nice, but it’s very similar to the original with nothing distinct to it that makes me feel it’s special. It also lacks the some of the notes from the original that made me love it and find it addictive. I’d rather just buy/wear the original. This scent would most appeal to the diehard GG fans who wear it and the flankers all the time. If you already own the original and only grab it occasionally, owning legere may be redundant.

ambervxyjul

A fresher take on the original. I would consider this a daytime version and the original a night time scent. It’s not fresh as in citrus, but more in a airy creamy way. The dry down eventually after many hours is pretty close to the original but still I can detect few differences. I’m getting almost a caramel note that I don’t detect in any other CH perfumes. I don’t think this did well in sales hence the rarity of seeing it in stores now. I still really enjoy this regardless and am reaching for it pretty often lately. It’s still a loud perfume even considering it’s “fresher”, so people will smell you!

spiderleenie

While I much prefer this over the OG Good Girl (which I do NOT like), I'm still not wowed by it.

I thought I was going to love this when I first sprayed it on me. It almost had a spearmint-like opening, which I thought smelled interesting (unlike Good Girl)! If I had to predict, I think it was a mix of the lactonic notes, the tuberose, the musk, and the cinnamon that give that kind of effect. Sadly, though, that interesting opening fades away pretty fast and it dries down to all of the sweet notes on my skin. It's not sickly sweet, but it's the kind of sweet I have smelled a million times before, so I feel very "meh" about it and I wouldn't purchase a full bottle for myself.

In my opinion, if you want a milky perfume with some white floral notes and a warm amber in there, then just get Mugler Alien. lol. It has so much more personality, it's much sexier, and it has much longer staying power.

My husband really liked this on me, though. He said it smelled "delicious." There's just SOMETHING about the Good Girl perfumes that apparently appeal to men.

NysAddiction

First of all, why do so many people do reviews before allowing a fragrance to dry down? Stop doing that lol. Second, I love Fragrantica reviews because they rarely ever fail me. Figure it’s about time for me to start contributing :)

I’m at a point in my fragrance collecting where I kind of know what I will and won’t like before I buy it based on the notes, but this one was a little risky because of the yellow florals. I am a gourmand girl and I usually don’t deviate too far from that. However I do enjoy some florals and fruit when they’re paired with gourmand middle or base notes.

This was such a successful blind buy. It opens up bright and fruity, almost tropical (probably due to the citrus and yellow florals combined) and then as it starts to dry down the lactonic component comes out to play. It goes through a brief stage in the middle where it almost smells minty, and then when it’s fully dry it’s a sexy, creamy, bright and sweet base. Nothing too heavy or cloying. Not too overpowering for work and also not too demure to go out in. This is my first CH flanker as my grandmother wears the OG, Blush and VGG Glam and I refuse to own anything she wears lmao, so I had to do my research and choose carefully. And I love it. Also love that it’s not as common as some of the others.

judearose123

This is one of the sexiest perfumes in the designer market, it’s not talked about enough. The opening is very sweet and fresh, but the dry down is where the magic happens. The dulce de leche blends in with the tonka bean, creating the most beautiful creamy & gourmand base. It’s marketed as a lighter fragrance for spring and summer, but I personally find the gourmand aspect of it to be too cloying in the heat. This perfume is not light by any means, I threw on a couple sprays before work (after it macerated in my collection for a few months) and i definitely turned a few heads. It’s one of those perfumes that just smells TOO good and way too sexy, it captivates those around you. 10/10.

scent.2go

This one is nice, very similar to OG in dry down. Opening is more sweet, exotic, happy than the OG. Is not bad but I still prefer OG. Longevity is maybe 4-5hrs so nothing special

Myru

I made a review quite a while back raving about this perfume!! However it doesn’t smell the same as it did then :(

I initially received 2 tester samples of this perfume and fell in love. However when I bought the bottle it smells nothing of the sort.

It’s a citrus overload. It clashes over everything else and every other note struggles to come through. It’s not the smooth creamy delicious airy scent it’s just a pungent citrus :((

I’m stuck now as I don’t find it wearable at all, it smells like an toilet air freshener :(

I know what it is meant to smell like and I feel so sad that I have fallen in love with a perfume only to buy it and it smells nothing of the sort :(( I don’t want to buy it again as I’m not swimming in money and there will be no guarantee again that I will be getting a good batch of the perfume :((

Charmedbymeghan

This is one of the best offerings at Ulta (in-store). I've spent a lot of time, on multiple occasions sampling their perfume section. And I would say there's only maybe 6 (feminine) perfumes there worth buying (according to my tastes), being: Ariana's Cloud 2.0, La Belle, Burberry Her Elixir, Black Opium Extreme, Billie Eilish #2 (#1 is a nice fragrance but have no lasting power on me), and possibly Armani Code for her too... There are some other brands available online that I own some faves from (namely Ellis Brooklyn and Lake & Skye).
This is my favorite out of the Good Girl line though and probably the only one I really need to own, since I'm not huge on many Designer fragrances. I want my fragrances to have a little something different or unique or just plain yummy lol... I love the lactonic quality in this perfume. It is a warm sweet floral gourmand. I am usually not crazy about citrus notes on their own, but this doesn't come off as citrus-forward. The citruses are more to give it a certain brightness and counterbalances all of the creamy warmth & sweetness in the base and, and it works really well here. This is non-offensive and may be seen as a little "deeper" - for a designer frag**, but I wouldn't call it dark or deep. I could see wearing this on just about any occasion, probably wouldn't reach for it on super hot days though when i prefer to wear something more musky or fresh. Great for date nights, but I would also wear to work because the projection is just right IMO. You just be smellin like a SNACK 😋
I bought the 2.7 FL OZ version (brand new) for $60 on Mercari. I wouldn't pay even near what Ulta is charging for it. Happy to have it.

Malleable

This one is OK, but I think I prefer the original Good Girl more. Legere is sweet and sort of floral, and there's nothing wrong with it, but it just feels kind of generic and doesn't feel like ME. Glad I tested this instead of buying a full bottle.

nailaddict_81

I revisited my bottle last weekend and I was reminded why this is my favorite Good Girl. The mix of white flowers is well blended, and the dulce de leche + tonka bean works perfectly on my skin. It's a very interesting gourmand fragrance, with excellent longevity (I applied it at 6:30 p.m and could still gwt some whiffs the next morning). My husband loves it on my skin. It's a sexy frangrance without being too loud.
.
The OG GG, although is a pleasant fragrance and I totally understand its popularity, just doesn't work on my skin, it has very poor longevity, being completely GONE in less than 3 hours (I used multiple samples, tried it from the bottle at least 3 times in different stores, just to be sure).
.
My GG ranking is:
#1 GG Légère
#2 Very Good Girl
#3 Good Girl Blush (which I'm planning to buy at Black Friday this year)

perfumesniffer

Eh. This is just mediocre. It very much smells like “everything sweet at the mall.” If you aren’t already a millennial gourmand lover you probably shouldn’t bother with this. It’s fine though, overall pleasant, sweet and basic.

#1 OG Good Girl - love it (this one is the most distinctive of the line)
#2 Very Good Girl - also love, but 2nd place (sweet, fruity, tad bit rosy)

Revontuli

Every single word @coffeebean83 has said, and I don't know even know what to add 😅 I had completely ignored this one, as I had to try it on paper, which I rarely do but my arm was already full enough. On paper it was a full of blast of citruses, but on skin it quickly settled into a sweet harmony. I love Supreme equally, but it stays much closer to skin than Legere. I prefer to invest in this one.

Edit: I can't believe I'm saying this but...I almost regret having bought this. There is something I don't enjoy in this perfume, which I can't really put my finger on. An artificial, shampoo-like vibe. When I tested this on my skin a few weeks ago, I had tried another scent on the same arm (must be Ariana Grande's Cloud) and I believe somehow they got mixed. The result was amazing, honestly. But on its own, I don't enjoy this. Will have to test a few more times. Still better than the OG, though.

Ki.marie

After a year of having this , something in it makes so sneeze so bad 😭smells good just spicy asf. I miss this scent when it wasn’t as spicy

theperfumequeentiktok

Best good girl yet IMO. I haven’t tried the Blush flanker yet though. I find this one to be super underrated. It’s delicious. It’s essentially a sweet, floral, Amber vanilla & I am here for it. I would prefer it to last longer but I do get around 5hrs. Definitely worth a sniff/sample at least for sure.

lqnterns

Everything about this scent is perfection, the complex notes, the longevity, the mature to sweetness ratio. Even the gorgeous bottle is perfect as a decoration. It really is an amazing perfume, the only thing is, it can be really strong so I only spray half a spritz.

JoyousOne

I thought I tried all of the Good Girls. I thought I sd I didnt like any of them. Let me try Légère on my skin to double check....instantaneously fell in love. Ok, wait for the dry down, it must turn for the worse. 8 hours later...it was still divine. Ok, maybe that was a fluke. Let me try another skin test. By day 3, it was now time to start price comparing. Retail 2.7oz $136. Discount fragrance sport 2.7oz tester bottle (only difference is TESTER engraved at the bottom of the heel) $102...I believe I have a winner. This smells so good I want to skin test all of the other flankers now. Boy oh boy was I missing out. This is sweet, fresh, smooth, long lasting, with a hint of the tropics. Carolina Herrera (with my perfect afro latina NY accent) Im sorry I ever doubted you! I feel like a trillion bucks!

noodlehead19

a little fruity, a little creamy, very sweet! the notes look like they'd clash, but I find that they actually work together quite well. I get a LOT of the ylang ylang underneath the fruity opening, without which I think this would be too heavy and cloying. the base is so, SO sweet and very sexy imo, the dulce de leche is so prominent, grounded by the tonka. it lasts a long time but the scent bubble stays very close to me, maybe about a foot or two away from me. light enough to wear as a daytime scent, rich enough to be a nighttime scent: how versatile! very unique scent to my nose, I don't have anything in my collection like it. definitely one of my faves for going out!

Sodastream83

This has the bubblegum tuberose which mixes badly with the other deeper gourmand notes like the dulce de leche and cinnamon. The result is that it smells like a herbal minty toothpaste/chewing gum/throat lozenge. Very weird.

klarke38

Beautiful perfume. Always get compliments when I wear it. Very long lasting.

aldinatic

This layers nice with Denim and Daisies from Bath and Body Works

Ki.marie

I liked this perfume from first smelling it ! The initial spray burns my nostrils a little but when it starts to dry down on my skin it smells exactly how the Dove Pampering Shea butter &vanilla smells!

I can’t speak much of projection because none of my perfumes project on me but this is lovely to enjoy on my own.

Youlerie

This scent was given to me as a present and overall it is pleasant. You basically can't go wrong with tonka beans.

However, something was missing because during the 1 year that I owned it, I actually only sprayed it 4 times or so. It was somehow too trivial for me, too légère? Either way, I always preferred to use a different perfume.

Now my mom enjoys this scent.

Dazed_and_confused

Ok, I get it. It's very nice, very sexy, very sweet. By the way, this reminds me of Hugo Boss Alive. I have both and they have some similarities. The bottle is very cute.

Lisa Mona

This one is my favorite out of all GG perfumes. To me it’s classier than GG original, however, it still has that sexy DNA. A truly beautiful perfume!

wyrdlam

It gives a citrus opening and then settles into warm, creamy white florals. I was hoping to catch the more delicious notes, like dulce de leche, praline, and tonka bean, but they are not as prominent. The milkiness of the dulce de leche is sensed, but the depth of caramel or nuttiness of praline, not as much. I’m not surprised though, because the edible notes aren’t too strong in the og either.

It’s pleasant and inoffensive, and lasts many hours. Although it’s not for me, it’s worth trying, especially if you’re looking for a lighter version of the og.

brennal

Hear me out: look past the bottle shape if you are looking for a sweet perfume! This is actually my favorite Good Girl perfume out of what’s out there currently. It starts out with a little splash of citrus but quickly settles into a rose and jasmine floral mix that wears quite well. Throughout there is a very yummy caramelesque note, which I think is the dulce de leche, and the drydown is heavenly to me, a tonka bean sweet mix of patchouli and original Good Girl musk. This is really well blended, I had to wear this a few times to really get to know it and some of the notes individually, and I’m still not picking out cedar or any other wood. But that’s ok, I’m happy with the scent and enjoy wearing it in the cooler months.

strawberryyy

I tried to convince myself to like it but its smells weird to me. Its not as sweet as I expected. I think the citrusy notes are clashing with the base notes because the dry down isn't giving what I thought it would give. The dry down on me is giving me a "stale/flat coca cola spilled on your arm" kind of scent. I have only tested the OG on on a sweater sleeve in-store so I can't compare it with the OG on my skin just yet, but the OG just seems more different than this and way better. will prob update this once I get my hands on a sample of OG to test on skin.

Stephaniex44

This is .. weird. I can definitely smell the citrus notes and a bit praline. At the start the green-white fresh smell is intense but when it dries down I can mostly smell the Ylang Ylang with a bit of citrus and what I'm assuming is the dulce de leche. It's fresh and sweet. I don't think I smell anything woody at all, maybe it's veery faint in the background. At first I was like hell no cause this is not my type of scent at all. But I gave it some time to dry and it's definitely better now that it's sweeter.

vanillabeandrop

11 Nov 2022: I've sprayed this a few times on myself in store, and I'm always taken in each time. I can't really get the individual notes -- they all sort of blend together and create an addictive sweetness and I can't stop smelling my wrist after I've sprayed it. I see why it's so popular. Though, this particular DNA of long-lasting sweetness, addictiveness and even perfumey-ness seems very familiar and almost common. I can imagine smelling this in a club or a bar on a few women. You just know you're smelling an Expensive Designer Perfume when you smell it.

I guess that is what is stopping me from purchasing a bottle myself. I feel like the perfume would be wearing me, rather than me wearing the perfume. I don't think I suit the vibe.

11 July 2023: Months later and I still find myself spraying this from the tester in stores. Reader, I got it in the end. It's just the right amount of dressiness and special-ness that's good for special nights out or when you just want to smell a little bit (or perhaps a lot) more than your natural skin scents.

🫧Toochie🫧

This was the first perfume that started my obsession! I had asked (without knowing how to describe perfume) for a “dark” evening perfume with minimal fruity-ness.
This was the first I was shown & I loved it. I wore it day & night for weeks until I started acquiring more variety. Now that I have a (small) collection, I have a hard time reaching for this one!
It’s definitely a perfect evening perfume, describing the notes is next to impossible because I’m not 100% sure what I’m getting. I know there’s tonka bean - and I think that’s what gave me the initial like for it. But it really doesn’t smell unique to me, I had an old B&BW body mist that smelt just like this when I was 15 and now it’s all I can think of when I wear it. Considering selling it, but also want back the love I had before the B&BW comparison hit me!!

I guess for me it’s a 7/10 - wearable but where to wear it lol? 5/10 for longevity & sillage.

sweetlikecandie

This is the summer / day time option of good girl if you love that fragrance but find it too cloying or bold!

Marie20707

Out of all of the Good Girl line, this one was my favorite. I bought it after tearing it in Ulta and I absolutely loved it. I would only wear it during the cooler months, because it’s sweet and those scents don’t do well on me in the heat.

I pulled out the rollerball of Legere and proceeded to transfer her into a travel spray. Baby, some of it spilled on my arm and if you have seen the look of dismay on my face.😫

It was not because I lost some of the juice on my arm, but the lingering smell didn’t sit well with my spirit. What i once loved, I now despised. I know it’s due to that dreaded patchouli note. I have such a tolerate/hate relationship with patchouli. So now I’m gonna have to gift this remaining set to someone.

Ferra_Verto

OG Good Girl with a beautiful floral opening, the ylang is quite lovely. Becomes sweet & lactonic like Good Girl during the scent's life.
Lasts for 10 hrs, great for cooler weather.

Zukekx

Very complex yet light. Great for all occasions.

Niroma💕

More youthful, flirty and vibrant than good girl original. Long lasting. Love this.

coffeebean83

Legere is my favorite Good Girl from the line.....with Suprime being a close second. Love them both way way more than the original. I don't totally hate the smell of the OG but a certain aspect of it leaves me nauseous. Legere is all about those base notes but especially the dulce de leche. This note reigns high in this scent imo. It's lighter(hence the name) for appropriate daytime use but strong enough to be wonderfully noticeable. Moderate longevity and projection. Would 100% buy again. :)

snowyvanille24

The original one is sexy, sophisticated and deep. This is a bad version of the original mix with bonbon. It’s like you had a very sweet caramel and coconut dessert, you couldn’t digest well and vomit. This is the smell😵💫😵💫. Compare to very good girl and good girl, this is very worst. Try it beforehand, unless you are like me just love the bottle.

Bottle: 10/10

PrettyPerfectPatrice

I like this way more than the OG…. It is light and sweet and just yummy. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t last very long…. Maybe 2 hours…. But it is what it is. Still a great fragrance.

Starlight_moon

I think it's a nice fragrance but not that much different from the original. I personally couldn't really tell the difference, the original GG DNA is still very prominent in this flanker.
I think if you have the original Good Girl, you probably don't need the Legere version unless you are a CH high heel bottle collector.

Duaham

I'm currently testing this out. Out of all of the CH Bad Girl fragrances, I like this one the most. It's soft, romantic but unique

Likilichi

Fragrantica reviewers are a murderous crew!! A word to the wise, don’t let these bitches around your kids or your spirit, let alone a genuinely beautiful perfume. They’ll take turns shredding any and or all of them! I don’t know how you’re gonna make a decision about this perfume. Lots of people here are ragging on it. I’m squarely in the “This perfume is DELECTABLE!!” camp. Just go smell it for yourself and then leave your review here so we can all continue to confuse the next person who reads these comments.

huntchristie

Wow, I am kind of surprised I really like this perfume. It’s tremendous fun and reminds me of big hair, spike heels smoky dance clubs. Good Girl holds up in these venues. It’s also a lot different than most perfumes I have in that it is unapologetic and just screams let’s go out and party.

Myru

I’ve fallen in love with this perfume! It’s gorgeous, seductive and delicious!

I received two samples of this perfume and stupidly not knowing anything about perfume I wasted this beauty as a work perfume!

Every time I walked past my work fleece that was hung up at the end of the day I caught whiffs of this fragrance and it was beautiful! Plus the longevity is great! I would spray the sample before work and days after I’d catch a trail of this perfume!

It’s flirty and classy and makes me feel so pretty! It smells like airy fresh spun caramel! It’s delicious! I love this version as I find that it’s sexy but without trying too hard! It’s not an in your face sexy perfume is just sweetly playful with an addictive pull! I personally find the original boring but this is perfect for me!

Sorry for going from 👍🏼 to 👎🏼.Two days ago I re-tested at duty free.Initially was fine which tonka with praline were revealing nuances however I’ve noticed whole composition was continuing with heavy sweetness that I couldn’t resist. After a while smelling CH Legere on paper strip;the drying was either incredibly sweet on paper strip.Honestly my expectation about CH Legere to last more woody instead of lactonic sweetness.

So I’m so thankful to try it again! When lt comes to territory of fragrance, that’s not an inexpensive pleasure to blindly purchasing. But the bottle’s of entire range undeniably looks flashy.

Roos88dutch

Younger Dior addict to me . Same tonka vanilla sandalwood dry down but a bit sweeter and easy to wear . Love te combo of vanilla and sandalwood

Bright jasmine, bold ylang-ylang and femenine santal reveal a new side to the iconic Good Girl scent.

After hearing lots of good reviews about this on YouTube, people saying this is the best Good Girl flanker I tested this in store. It smelled so familiar to me but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it reminded me of and spent a good hour or so sniffing my arm and wracking my brain. Then it hit me, it reminds me of Escada Cherry in the Air 🍒
I owned that many years ago and this fragrance took me back to that time in my life. I must say though that Good Girl Legere is not for me. I feel like I was just expecting something different and mind blowing but was kind of disappointed.

Julie Chit

Ultra sweet and heavy scent. Regret buying it. I just wanted to add something different, more sweet and womanly to my collection. I couldn't even wear this scent. It's ultra heavy and gives me a bad headache. It's not easy to scrub off either. The sad thing is that it smells good from a big distance on other people. There are just way to many notes that my nose can not tolerate here. Never was into caramel and patchouli heavy aromas. Way too overcrowded notes. I guess it will be a good scent for a special event when looking for that extra attention but please, do not wear this in the office/work place or you are risking to suffocate more sensitive people!

clairesque

Impression from a paper strip: To me, the notes here clash badly. I get a screechy blend of citrus, milk, chocolate, and jasmine. Yes, it's a fresher version of Good Girl but not in a good way.

Patpk

Lots of fruit with a slightly sour funky undertone that isn’t horrible, but it isn’t great either… interesting.

Vicky456

I mainly get citrus and white florals, can smell like laundry detergent. Then about 3 hours later, I start to get the dulce de leche, praline but it’s very soft and the citrus floral scent still over powers it but it’s not that heavy anymore. I was really hoping to get cinnamon, maybe in a different kind of weather since it is spring, so it’s the chilly/warm weather right now. But for now to add more sweetness to it, I add either the vanilla musk or choco musk perfume oils. I get an arms length of scent and whiffs of it throughout the day, it is a heavy scent especially in the first few hours so I would not be heavy handed with this.

calypsoorangeblossom

The worst Carolina Herrera flanker. This is so cloying and smells cheap. The ingredients are a mess and are not blended well. As the scent sat more on my skin, the more obnoxious the smell. It's as though every ingredient is trying to get a shot at the spotlight- it is a true mess. To be fair, I am not a big fan of Carolina Herrera fragrances so take this review as you will. They do not get better than the original, and the original is not good either.

noel1stanley

This one is my favorite of all the flankers.

aris1223

This is sooo yummy . I never cared for the original . With this one I that laconic creamy vibe that I completely ADORE. I can't stop smelling my wrist. Im not too familiar with the original , but this one is a bit warm and I definitely get the florals , almond & Tonka. Love love love!!!

ythefnot

I LOVE how this smells!
To me, the original good girl was generic, heavy floral, pungent sexy night out perfume. This one however, is more unique. The blend is beautiful, there is a slight citrusy note on the opening. There is a creamy, toffee like element to it that shows up very clear after the dry down, this creamy element tones the sweet sharp florals down and make it more rounded. Legere to me, is a yummier gourmand leaning version of the original gg. It is less sharply sweet, more complex, and more delicious!

Mariamaija Amélie

On my skin GG Légère quickly dries down to a gorgeous!, very feminine, a little shy and soft toffee(ish) flower scent. I love all the flower notes listed in Good Girl Légère, but I don't really detect either of them here. Not specifically, I mean. I detect flowers, cream and toffee/caramel. This one also stays fairly close to the skin, but reapplying of course helps a lot, and is needed, if you have scent greedy skin like me.

If you appreciate mellow, creamy, caramel scents mixed with flowers and you don't wish to choke anyone around you out while smelling great, I would definately recommend this one. This will make an excellent snuggle scent as well.

diandra96

sweet but there's a freshness to it, not like the GG OG and supreme that for me is too sweet. but on me, it's gone after 30mins

fiatpurpura

On my skin, I get mostly tuberose, almond, and a creamy finish (maybe tonka and/or vanilla?), with tuberose as the strongest of those notes. It does have nice projection and lasting power, but the balance isn't quite right for me. It's a great fragrance for colder weather, though.

Longevity: Long-lasting
Projection: Moderate to strong (mainly the tuberose)
Overall: 7/10

correspondencepersonal

This starts with an incredibly HIGH Soprano note which hits the rafters. This is probably the tuberose, I would guess.
There is a light hearted fruity dynamic that is happening with this perfume which makes it seem that it would be a great spring-time fruity/floral perfume. The notes in this perfume have a more tropical vibe than the more serious Carolina Herrera perfumes in this same "Good Girl" series of perfumes which often smell "all business".

Coconut is NOT listed in the ingredients, yet there is a blend of notes in this which makes this seem like a fruity coconut/almond type drink - very similar to a pool side Pina Colada.

This is sexy and fun; even a bit playful.

When I spritzed this on my hand earlier in the store, this smelled much more like Armani Code. It wore slightly brighter than Code, but seemed like it was an extension of the first notes of the chord of Armani Cord. (I'm trying these 2 side by side, now).

There are a couple of fruity notes which seem to go a little bit "sharp" on my skin which makes this perfume smell like a few of the sweet/sour perfumes which have been so popular lately. The high notes lift out of the chord more than some of my more "business only" type perfumes.

I will have to re-evaluate in the dry down. I'm sampling a small sample now that was given to me at the store.
This is definitely a perfume to explore, in fact - it is really making me see the need to sample all of the perfumes in the Good Girl line by Carolina Herrera.

This goes so high and sharp, this could possibly be headache inducing. For this reason, I would definitely sample this before purchasing.

However, with the right chemistry - this could be a very memorable and enchanting perfume!
This is definitely worth trying - and sampling.

------------

I'm sampling this now, this has a first 30 minutes to an hour with a pretty sharp note after the first spray. However, the dry down of this perfume really comes together and is actually pretty awesome on.

This is definitely one to spritz in the store or sample -
See how you do with the first hour of wear.

---------------

If you like Carolina Herrera's Good Girl Legere', I would also try Armani Code EDP.
Both Armani Code and Legere' share similar base notes in the chord. Armani Code stays fairly elegant and basic - and Legere' moves more into the range of coconut/almond - more tropical (these notes are not listed, but this is what this perfume smells like - to me).

margielaenthusiast

its like the daytime version of good girl since its much lighter and lacks the heaviness that makes good girl come off as so mature. its also really really light so i would probably have to overspray to make it detectable.

Angelesque

Love this! If you’re looking for a nice spring fragrance, this is definitely it (although it is perfect to wear year round). It contains the OG Good Girl DNA with some freshness and citrus notes. If you like Good Girl (or any of the GG flankers) but find them a bit too sweet, try this.

hanak20

This is SO good.
I don't like the original GG, I much prefer this flanker. It has that fresh and citrusy/zesty quality to it, but with a soft, sweet, creamy and slightly spicy background to it. It is beautifully blended as I can't really decifer one note that is particularly prominant more than another (maybe bergamot?). Anyway, if you want to smell like a delicious spicy lemon cookie this is for you. It is incredibly sexy, and I always get compliments when I wear it from both men and women.

I love that it's not too strong of a fragrance either. I usually like to wear it when I go out in bars and such, but I also wear it casually whenever I feel confident and sexy. Has about an arm-lenght projection and I get around 6hrs+ of wear-time before it becomes a skin-scent which is decent for me.
Overall, very sexy, compliment getter, pretty versatile and unique. I love it, and will definitely repurchase when I run out. 9/10

Cherubina

Smells nice for 30 minutes and then its gone with the wind. What a waste of money.

GUADELUPA

The best version of Good Girl. Such a yummy caramel + milk + tonka beans. Sweetness is delicious and tender. Longevity and sillage are twenty for hours and more on clothes. Though many people say the bottle is ugly and vulgar, I love it! I really like this idea of a shoe form - unusual and attractive. If you like extraordinary sweet and strong fragrances and gorgeous bottles, this will be perfect for you!

Cindy Lei

This is a Boss Lady Fragrance. Much better that the original. Elegant, sexy, smart.

Controlledbyscent31

The only good girl I like in the blue bottles. as its evolved down the gourmand route, great sillage & longevity but not great projection at least on me.
Nice but I don't know when I'd reach for it, so for that reason I won't be buying a full bottle.

Wiktoriaaaz

Much better than original, as most things are…
The weird unisex mash of every note imaginable is gone, it’s no longer headache inducing or nauseating like the original, I can see how this could be in its own way though.. Theres a note in this combined with its creaminess that just doesn’t mix well, seems to be the mandarin or orange blossom. This is a creamy orange tonka scent. It’s nice, but I think I wouldn’t wear it enough for it to be worth purchasing. Do NOT blind buy this one. As a whole if you want this or the original, this is still the better bet if you’re more into less obnoxiously loud fragrances that are quite feminine and have a bit of sex appeal about them. If you like the over the top almost sickly loud fragrance that gives the impression of trying too hard, then original is for you.

All in all though, Very good girl tops both. Scent, composition, longevity and sexiness wise. This is a second on my good girl line rating.

sherylnd

It smells like Good Girl, but lighter and with the sweet gourmand aspect pumped up.

If the original Good Girl is a woman in a dark, sexy dress on a date at an intimate restaurant in the evening, this one is that same woman during the day, in a sundress, sitting in a cafe eating a dulce de leche cake.

It’s really nice, since I love the original. I am so baffled by flankers that smell nothing like the originals. This one smells just like you would expect from something name “legere” (light). Like the original, but lighter and with the scent profile tweaked just a bit. If only all flankers were this logical!

Hammyt100

If this was a little better blended, I would love it. But there's an accord in here that sticks out and holds steady for the entire wear, that just makes it difficult to fall for. It is a beautiful fragrance though, and the mist of Carolina Herrera bottles feels luxurious.

BellaLovesFragrance

Another case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. In theory I like these notes, especially cinnamon, mandarin orange, orange blossom, tonka, praline, dulce de leche.

The combination really just smells to me like a tonka bean orange creamsicle. It's creamy, a bit sweet, lactonic, fresh (in a sweet way), sophisticated, and a bit mature. Smells nice on me, definitely unique to other commercial fragrances, but I don't especially enjoy the way I smell wearing it.

Can't compare it to the other Good Girl, I've forgotten what that smells like, but this version is definitely it's own style, just not my style. This was a blind buy for me: I was looking for a gourmand, and I've always loved the idea of a (not overly but definitively) sweet gourmand citrus, but this doesn't exactly pull heavily gourmand or heavily fresh either. It sits in a strange middle-ground that I personally can't understand at the moment and isn't what I was looking for. It's pleasant enough though, and I could see it on a woman over 30, but is not a safe blind buy for the teenagers or 20-somethings like me. The bottle, however, is really nice with its gradient!

A sophisticated orange creamsicle.

Nora Gad

This was a surprise for me i don't like any of Good Girl frags but i felt in love with this one ,with no reason it's creamy and yummy But i don't think it's safe for blind buy

Ysabela

Not as fruity as I expected it to be. Its more of a creamy, sweet, powdery scent with hints of white floral. I couldn’t actually detect any citrus/fruity notes. But perhaps it just smells like that on me. Its decent but a bit mature for my age.
Not really a head-turner. Its a pretty common scent, nothing special. I saw other people say this scent is sexy, but I don’t find anything sexy about it. Its the type of scent you’d smell on your upper-middle class friend’s mom.

strawberrystar

I just tried this for the first time on one wrist, the original on the other, and I must admit the opening was amazing! Really sweet, like the original, but more citrusy. It also seemed like the opening notes lasted longer than with the original. The opening notes quickly faded to be replaced with a pretty but still linear white flower scent. I really liked the original, but I wish there was a bit more complexity to the scent.
The Légère version seemed a bit more complex and well developed, with more citrus. I would not hesitate to wear this in the spring.
I can't wait to try out both versions more in the coming days!

msyd17

the. best.

danibanani

Creamy, delicious, sweet... yum!!! this is such an original fragrance. The top citrus notes with the creamy sugary base notes. OMG what a combination! I am so in love with this scent. This scent is incomparable to the other good girls. This scent makes me feel HOT. I wear this at the office and every time I smell it I am rejuvenated.
24 - female.

AdelleA

Sweet but has a sharp end. Honestly now thinking about it , it smells like a good girl thats actually a bad girl. Smells more on the expensive side. Musky, woodsy, fruity.

pvincenty

I got a sample of this because I wanted a Good Girl, just not the original since my sister wears that one. It's creamy yet citrusy, the dulce de leche and tangerine notes are the most prominent on me. I wanted to purchase the full size of this since it would be beautiful for fall and winter. My only problem is that my skin eats up this fragrance way too quickly. I overspray and within half an hour I feel like it has already turned into a skin scent. This shocks me because many reviewers voted that it is long lasting, so it makes me sad that this happened to me. If it lasted longer it would absolutely be in my collection though!

rqqq

This has a bit of Jimmy Choo vibe in top notes. It's a comforting and happy scent. i got the 80ml tester for $50, i have no complaints.
It's sweet and delicious and deep. This grows on me. I probably love it now.

silverma

A softer more blended version of Skylar Vanilla Sky EDP and a subtle V&R Bonbon. I'm more into sweeter scents, so this one just isn't for me. A little bit of freshness in the beginning, but dries down to the coffee / caramel note that is familiar to Black Opium.

Chitra2021

I got a rollerball sample of this perfume few days ago and I'm in Love! I simply love it's opening, the dry down...everything about it . I simply love the creamy floral drydown uuufff ...it's just awesome !

darkkpoison

How to start.. this one is amazing, such a beautiful scent. Smells very similar with the original on me which I love it, people say that this one is not that strong as the OG but has the same power, almost like a headeache😁 It’s very sexy, fresh, but not too fresh because it’s also sweet, more lighter and I would say this one is for every occasion but seeing how it lasts and projects, for me on date nights. Not sure if i love this one more than original but I started to love it so much so I probably will😂. One of the sexiest perfumes and quickly became in my top favorites. This and the original are TOP from GG collection❤️

peachyqueen

I'll post a better review later but for now I just wanted to talk about the lasting power so far.
Most of the Good Girl line doesn't quite smell the way I think it's intended to on me, so I haven't been inclined to purchase one but my boyfriend got me this one yesterday and I do enjoy the scent so far, it's very ~me~. I sprayed it last night before bed to test longevity as I usually do and about 12hrs later it was still a very lovely skin scent with just a whiff of it in the air. But I wanted to test a new perfume today so I tried to wash it off my arms. When I tell you I had to SCRUB AND SCRUB AND SCRUB to get this off of me. It is a bit lighter than the original (which I think gives it more versatility) but don't let the lightness of the scent make you believe it doesn't have the lasting power because it does.

Dramaloladiva

This is a great designer scent, honestly. Personally, I like it a whole lot more than the Original Good Girl because it is a little more tame and restrained (though not by much). It’s not something I’d wear for every day but definitely worth having in my collection and definitely appropriate for date night, events or wanting to be noticed. To me, it’s wearable for certain occasions, not for daily wear because it is so strong and veers towards the sexy/cougar kind of scent...
Then again, that’s only my personal opinion 😝😝

rrrop11

I took the risk and blind bought it because I was really curious about the notes, even though I don´t own the og (or any of the previous flankers for the matter) and I wasn´t really sure of what I was gonna get. I´ve tried some Carolina Herrera´s fragances in the past and wasn´t impressed with the quality so I was a bit ecceptic. Needless to say I was wrong on this one!
The opening is SHARP, I´d say almost masculine, maybe it´s the Ylang-Ylang. But then you quickly get the white flowers notes, and the dry down is to die for. I disagree with dulce de leche being the most prominent, on my skin, I get tonka bean the most. I also don´t find it that sweet.
Either way, it´s a complex, well pull together fragance. A compliment getter for sure. In my opinion, suitable for different ages and versatile enough to wear it all year around, even summer evenings since I don´t find it heavy. It´s special and sexy to wear it on a first date but friendly and safe even for work. The longevity is great, and the sillage moderate, but I don´t mind.
I HIGHLY suggest you to try it, even if you´re not familiar with the previous Good girl like me. However, I´m not sure if they´re similar enough and if it´s worthy having both if you already own the original.
Will definitely re purchase! ♡

Mikaisallovertheplace

Légère Is the younger, sweeter and flirtier sister of the og Good Girl (my fave out of the line) she’s fresher with the note of the ylang-ylang and a lot creamier with the dulce de leche. In my opinion she’s so versatile enough to be a signature fragrance suitable for everyday. The dry down is a creamy, warm chocolaty amber goodness

Mariyamokshina

This one is really floral with sharp notes of jasmine, ylang-ylang and sweet bergamot zest. I also get a little bit of fresh linen and don't like the combination on my skin.

glitterizer

I don't know if I would think of it just by smelling this, but looking at the notes, yeah, this does smell like dulce de leche. I definitely get a lot of ylang-ylang that gives this that tangy brightness that I associate with a can of condensed milk that has been cooked for a long time, until it turns a deep dark brown. Very, very yummy, and almost leaning into artificial banana flavor. This has the original Good Girl DNA of tonka and patchouli, but it's not as spiced and harsh.

Noelustra23

I was about to purchase the original good girl since I heard so many good things about it, but I found this version and smelled it at the store... it made me change my mind at that exact moment. It's very similar to the og but lighter, classy and sweet, you could wear this to a date or to the office since it's very versatile.
Overall great perfume for the price (35€ for 30ml), cute bottle and amazing scent.

juicypearxo

This is a yummy deep gourmand 😍 so much better than the original which I find too screechy and synthetic. Best for cooler weather, you would overload people too much with this in the summer! 8/10

Hannehoney

Much better than the original! The original was way too masculine for me, this one is much softer and sweeter, it also has a calming effect on me :) Love it.

Lexxxy951

EDIT SOLD!!**- 10/11: I have a large 2.7 oz (80ml) bottle I’ve only sprayed 4 times. I also have a travel size roller I haven’t used. I would like to get rid of these since something in it just doesn’t work for me. I would give both for $75 total (includes shipping). Message me if interested!

9/12: I bought a full bottle of this after testing in ulta. I absolutely love the first couple hours of this because of how light, sexy and fresh it is but it turns into something else after 4+ hours that it a bit more dark, it gives me a headache and it lasts so long on me and my clothes for days, I have to use vinegar to get it off.

I would definitely get this if you want longevity and don’t mind a more dark rich sweet dry down. It’s just too much for me but I do get headaches easily. Other than that it’s a great perfume. I will use the bottle sparingly but probably will not repurchase :/

lulu169

pretty linear i can only smell milky gourmand vanilla from the dulche de leche and a bit musk. nothing else. nice but so cheap smelling and linear thus boring. not worth the horrendous prices they ask for!!

mars_maybenot

This is my favorite scent in the Good Girl lineup. It's creamier and sweeter than the original Good Girl, which is quite floral. The flowers in this take a back seat.

ScentFan2021

If you have ever tried Yankee Candle's "Soft Blanket" and wanted to wear it as a fragrance, this and most of the other Good Girl perfumes are for you.

Sreza7

This is the only perfume that I have regretted reselling. I bought it before I was pregnant and LOVED it. Then during my pregnancy it started to smell different almost like Barbie doll heads (weird, I know). But I recently tested it at Ulta and it smelled sooo yummy! Mmmm everything I loved about it was back. And now I’m considering repurchasing it again to bring it back into my collection. It’s a unique designer fragrance.

Shimo Zaza

This fragrance is very versatile, you can wear it anywhere, anytime, it's a fresher version of the original; perfect balance between freshness and sweetness. I really like it, I even like it a bit more than the OG.

Ladybutterfly72

This fragrance should be called "Good Good Good Girl". It is a sweet 😋 delicious fragrance and the one of many fragrances in my collection that I finished within a year. It's a sweet, floral gourmand that dries down soo good. It leaves a scent trail that people will notice and the patchouli make this scent last all day. I will definatley be getting a big bottle, this go round.

jadynk

Oversprayed this before I went out and I kept getting compliments but 2 people asked if it was Alien... Interesting cause I don't think they're super similar but I guess it projects that way, the drydown must be jasmine heavy

ineas1217

Best CH Good Girl perfume out of the whole collection, hands down. Extremely versatile. For some reason it's really strong on me, it LASTS so long on my skin and clothes, too. I'll probably repurchase.

Sydneylyn.t

My boyfriend bought me this perfume as a gift and I am absolutely amazed at how versatile it is. This could easily be a daytime or evening, work or date night perfume depending on how much you spray. It is feminine with the florals, playful with citrus, and still very sexy with the musk and cedar notes. It dries down to a very lactonic and creamy scent. I absolutely love this!

Perazim

Sweet lemon milkshake, creamy

Dark_Lady

To me this smells like a spicy lemon cookie, or a lemon poppyseed muffin right out of the oven. Heavenly. Compliment getter, lasts and projects. But I don't even really care about that to be honest, as long as I can smell it all day (which I can), I'm happy.

Joshhiggins32

I have bought this for multiple people in my life and this has to be my favorite female scent ever made. I collect fragrances female and male and this fragrance stands at the top of my list. This is perfect for any time and I haven’t found a single person to say they hate this. This a sweet but it has depth that gives it such a nice twist. There’s not too much floral, spice, or wood it’s just perfection. This is 100 times better than the regular good girl, it’s takes the dna and makes it stand out so much more! If you love sweeter scents, I couldn’t see anyone hating this. I’ve gifted it to about 10 different people with different tastes and they all brag about how much they love this! Give it a go for sure, you’ll regret all the time you didn’t.

autel_blanc

Starts with green mango and pistachio icecream and dries down into a clean, creamy tonka-musk. On me longevity and sillage are good, better compared to the original Good Girl. “Légère” still perfectly fits the scent: carefree and joyful!

Maddy6970

This is my favorite from the line, it’s fresh sweet and creamy. I always feel on when I wear this and most of the compliments I receive are from women not men. I do feel like this is sexy and mature but not “old fashioned” anyone can wear this but it’s very feminine. Which is what I love about it this is in my top 5 from my collection.

Jana711xx

Good Girl is my husband’s favourite on me and although I love it I prefer soft creamier notes of Légère, especially the dulce de leche. I think the Good Girl range is possibly my all time favourite range of perfumes I have loved all of them so far and each are so different from one another. Contrary to popular opinion I am a huge fan of the Good Girl shoe I think it is unique and as distinctive as the juice it contains, they sit proudly at the front of my perfume wardrobe

386Vintage

386Vintage

Nice. Not sure as of yet

c311a

as with most people i'm not a fan of the bottle but this perfume is just comforting & sweet. a popular scent DNA for sure but i love that it isn't too sharp like the og good girl while still retaining some depth. it's warm, sweet, and creamy, never too much but with respectable longevity & sillage. the feel-good gourmand of a Victoria Secret or BBW fragrance without evoking memories of the girls' high school locker room. and none of the heaviness associated w a gourmand - the first sniff is light and delicious. the warmth and amber and musk are all so balanced. this perfume really is such a pleasant surprise. every moment of it is enjoyable. you don't have to make any compromises with this one- it's reliable.

ineslths

I am absolutely blown away by this perfume. I was looking for a sweet perfume and this one is amazing. I tend to stay away from perfumes with tonka beans in it as they tend to smell awful on me but this one suits me so well. The opening is very floral and that's when the tonka bean is the most potent but the dry down smells really sweet and warm. To me is smells like sweet milk and coconut with a hint of spices and musk. It lasts a decent amount of time on the skin i'd said up to six hours but its stays for literally days on clothes.
To me this perfume as a similar vibe as La nuit Trésor nude just way more likeable.

sassa7

Hmm alot going on in the notes, it doesnt smell AS complicated, which is good imo. Its opening is unique, very spring-time appropriate and 5 mins later it reminds me of Fantasy in Bloom, so much that Id pass, but then it really changes character. And no joke, I check the top and middle notes and I get it why, Fantasy in Bloom and Good Girl Legere both contain tuberose, jasmine and mandarine, but this perfume has no berries, no osmanthus and that loaded sweet, decadent spicy base makes it more mature and deeper than Fantasy in Bloom which is just a happy sweet scent without any depth. The next hour till the drydown its quite like Private Show but I also get the Good Girl OG DNA. Im tired of Private show, very one dimensional so if I were to go for one, Id choose this one over Private Show and over Good Girl. Its beautiful and very different than the OG version that I grew SO tired of!
TBH, I really wish it came in a different bottle, maybe a clear heel with pink colored perfume in it, that one Id buy like right now.

Kswhittaker

I used to own an original good girl and it used to give me a headache even tho I loved the scent.
I love this one even more! It’s still that original good girl but more citrusy airy in the opening, so it doesn’t give you that sharp first sniff. Love it! Longevity is same as good girl original, even tho I expected it to be weaker it’s totally not!!

temo

Oh my goodness! What a surprise! I bypassed this one and went straight for the “Supreme”. I should have paid more attention to this one. I find it quite unlike the other two. More floral, more interesting, almost a “vintage-ey” vibe. I think it’s really well done. This just could be a keeper for years to come. The only problem is that I keep spraying myself in the face because I don’t seem to be able to get my hand on it in the right way.
At first I found the bottle cringe worthy as well, but I decided to overlook that. I think that bottle is actually growing on me tho.
. . .wanted to add as an afterthought. . .the following morning, drydown on skin is strongly evident and absolutely fabulous.
. . .say what? . . .also a phone holder?

supergirl9412

I get a very citrusy ylang-ylang/dulce de leche. With wear, the citrus fades, so most of the wear is the ylang/dulce blend.

Won’t be purchasing, but I’m glad I tried it. It was super fun to smell a realistic dulce de leche scent in a frag, something I had not yet experienced!

Chr_23

Good Girl Legere is a delicious, playful scent. At first you get a lot of citrus fruity notes and a blend of warm, sunny florals. You quickly get the dulce de leche which is very a distinguishable note with a creamy sweet "taste". This definitely leans more towards the sweet side along with some dry elements, but it also has a citrusy sour vibe that not everyone will love. To me it is better than the original that smells a bit dusty and heavy. The longevity and sillage are good and this can be worn preferably during fall, winter and early spring.

zina saleh

i like it but i don't love it , when i first spray it i get shampoo/hair conditioner scent which i don't like , but the dry down is sexy sweet ambery scent . will i repurchase ? no .

Good Girl Légére by @carolinaherrera today - a testament to the fact that modern designer fragrances can be daring and unique. I really love this. I much prefer this to the original - jasmine and ylang intact, little less tuberose and no coffee - less gourmand, more floral.

It has such a warm and lovely base; praline, sandalwood, tonka.. this beautiful base blended together with the powerful florals create an explosive experience. This is sexy, slutty, promiscuous in a sense. It is daring and definitely the scent of someone who is in control of their sexuality. Seductive and sensual.

mochachoco99

Blind buy. I wanted to love this. Upon opening it’s quite nice, it smells almost like an Ariana fragrance. Sweet and fruity. The strong white florals kick in very soon and it gets a little too heady and perfumey for me. They really are the runner of the show in this one. Not the best scent to me personally since I’m not a fan of florals. A little headache inducing with the really strong florals and syrupy sweetness. It gets a little better and gentler in the dry down when the dulce de leche kicks in but it's still very strong. Wearable in cold weather only (fall and winter). Maybe I have to keep trying it to see if it’ll grow on me, but if not then I’ll have to sell it. Good quality though, it smells expensive and performance is great.

poppyetpear

God dang it! I wanted to love this. I was certain I would love this. Those base notes of dulce de leche and praline really drew me in to blind buying as I love sweet, caramel gourmands. The notes in this don't blend well for me and I can't smell the dulce de leche, praline or cinnamon at all! I only smell white florals, amber and a hint of bicycle tire or something a bit plasticky. It doesn't smell bad, but leaves me wondering wtf I'm even smelling. It definitely can't stand on it's own. Not on my skin, anyway. The shoe bottle is overdramatic, but I really like the way it sprays. It's a good coverage mist. I kinda wish all of my perfumes sprayed like this.

Edit: This is great for layering. I just layered it with Niki Minaj Pink Friday, odd, I know, but it works very well. This will definitely become a layering frag for me.

KindnessBoo

Absolutely gorgeous. This is mass appeal perfection that is very sweet, playful and sexy. Légère is a citrus gourmand which helps make the (almost) sickly sweetness wearable and enjoyable!

kimothie

I absolutely adore this. I was actually trying to get a rollerball of the original, but picked this one up by accident, and when I got home I smelled it and fell in love. The warm mandarin mixes nicely with all those sweet gourmand base notes, making this a great day-to-night fragrance, a little more appropriate (in my opinion) for office wear than the original.

Also, gentlemen; a side note. If you are afraid of going into the mall and buying a fragrance that are marketed towards women, just do it.

Scents never had and never will have gender. I am sure you own a lot of fragrances that contain almost all the same materials which you love - the only difference here are the millions of dollars invested into marketing that messes with your brain and lets you have a simple perception of life. Let it go.

Just a lovely fragrance. I’d say though this doesn’t massively differ from the original it has a few tweaks that really set it apart from the og. To my nose one of these would be the introduction of more of the dulce de leche which i love. I feel as though in first spritz this has a far more citrusy sweet vibe though as it calms and settles in your skin this beautiful light floral beams through. If i’m honest the first time i smelled this perfume i could not stand it haha. I think as i was used to the sharp coffee notes of the original this was a real shock to the system. I have grown to really love this perfume and i’d say it’s now one of my go to’s. I would say however the lasting power of this fragrance is sadly average at best on skin. :)

Good Girl Legere is a flanker of a sample that I received several years ago, the original Good Girl. I liked it enough to purchase a gift set of three rollerballs (Original, Legere, and Supreme). Of the 3, I prefer the Legere the most, but I still am on the fence about buying a full size bottle.

I enjoy the more citrusy notes in the Legere compared to the sweeter notes of the Original, but I feel that the tradeoff with those lighter, softer notes is less staying power (3-4 hours longevity on me, compared to 6 hours with the original). I don’t dislike it enough to give away / swap, but I won’t be buying a full size anytime soon either (unless it were deeply, deeply discounted).

I agree with @SeauxGood’s take: “I find the Légère to be a softer, airier interpretation of the original Good Girl. The almond and coffee in the top notes have been replaced by orange and ylang-ylang, so it’s fruitier and more floral in the opening. The floral notes also play a bigger role in the heart of this composition.”

KrystalPower83

I just found this Legere at Burlington Coat Factory in a gift set with a full size 2.7oz bottle, body lotion and body oil for just $69.99.....yippee!! :) I love it and the original. Happy with the longevity. I love sweet milky smells.

cooke.84

If this lasted longer on my skin, it would be my signature fragrance. The only way I can get any lasting power is to spray it on a sweater. I had a faux fur vest on today, and it stayed on the fur forever. I had the same issue with the original Good Girl. The creaminess of this scent reminds me of Micheal Kors Wonderlust, but without the spicy pepper notes. After a little bit of the initial citrus - mainly orange - it quickly dried down into dulce de leche, tonka bean, and praline
and stayed there. I wish this brand would make a higher-priced version with ambergris or an alternate scent elongator.

PiperOK31

The first time I smelled this my immediate reaction to the top notes were "Oh wow, yummy, fruity, I like that!". Then comes the nightmare of the dry-down. The dry-down smells identical to the original and the fruity brightness from the top notes are completely gone and there is something in the base that makes my stomach turn and trigger a nauseous reaction. The same nauseous reaction I get from smelling Alien by Mugler. It might be the dulce de leche mixed with tonka, I'm not sure but it's very strong, smells almost bitter, and loses it's appeal to me.

SeauxGood

I find the Légère to be a softer, airier interpretation of the original Good Girl. The almond and coffee in the top notes have been replaced by orange and ylang-ylang, so it’s fruitier and more floral in the opening. The floral notes also play a bigger role in the heart of this composition. In the original, they were kind of a supporting role; in this one they are running the show. I’d say I’m smelling more jasmine and tuberose (plus that original ylang-ylang) than the rose or orange blossom. The cacao and vanilla in the original’s base have been swapped out for a really nice dulce de leche accord, but there are still a good bit of other gourmand notes in the mix (cinnamon, tonka bean, praline). There is also quite a pronounced amount of sandalwood. The patchouli and cedar give it a slight green-clean quality. Both fragrances are sexy and ultra-feminine, but this is light and fresh where the original is thick and sultry. Overall, the Légère has the Good Girl DNA with just enough of its own personality to justify my keeping both! LOL

RBS1991

Nice perfume with a touch of innocence. Great for frosty autumn evenings when the night comes earlier.

Sweetfemme

This is both sexy yet a little gourmand on my skin. It’s soooo alluring, I literally have to run away from men with this one.

On my skin it’s a tonka bean bomb with the dulce leche, and praline backing it up. Once completely dried the woody notes tangle it way in. I don’t get any of the top or middle notes on my skin. Maybe a LITTLE jasmine and tuberose. Whenever I run out I’m buying another, this is a keeper for my collection.

Funny enough I don’t like the original good girl but I love the legre version!

fyetan

I have Legere on one arm and original on the other, skin test.
Original upon first spray, "oh this is really floral! That tuberose!". But it calms down and moves to base within ten minutes and is a strong tonka bean. (Also, my apartment is really hot...) Sweet in a straight sugar way.

Legere: stronger dulce de leche. It had great projection for the first hour or so. The previous time I tested both on my sleeves and they lasted for days, with legere being more prominent probably due to the actual notes. Does definitely smell more grown up than "hey this is caramel!". Once I sprayed the original, I could no longer smell this. Sweet in a caramel way.

Rate: superlike. It's constantly on my radar, but with my recent influx of vanilla-based perfumes, I'm not sure that this would stand out in my collection.

Legere > original for me.

bel.gravia

Sweet but light at the same time, perhaps that's the dulce de leche accord. Smells different to the notes listed. Like lightly floral and lightly sweet.

kkaattjjeess

Ok so I have a feeling this might be an unpopular and heavily downvoted comment, but here we go: Good Girl Legere is giving me major Victoria's Secret vibes. It reminds me of the perfume called Glamour by VS in particular. Sweet, pleasant, not overly unique or recognizable. And I don't mean this in a bad way, I like quite a few VS fragrances, and I don't consider them "cheap smelling" or anything, it's just I would have expected something different from a Carolina Herrera fragrance, especially with this line being talked about left right and center. I never tried the original Good Girl, so won't be able to compare.

It is a lovely scent, but to be honest, if I ever smelled this on somebody, I'd think "aw that body mist is adorable, I wonder what is is".

PS: It's nothing like Girl of Now (unless both being sweet scents makes them "identical").

Heathrfeathr

Beautiful scent and I love the dulce de leche note but terribly disappointed with performance. Skin scent in less than 2 hours and for the price I need a little more oomph. This reminds me of Brittany Spears Private show and that one actually outperforms this one and with the cheaper price tag definitely more bang for the buck.

Lalouve<3

Love this! <3

...first notes, praline and caramel mostly with some fruity secondary notes around, and the heart notes of the original good girl in the background. And then the original perfume's notes come forth, but the praline-caramel notes stay around playing mischievously hide and seek with our olfactory sense.

To me, this is the baby of original good girl and viva la juicy gold (however a viva la juicy done right, and not like the teenager version the actual viva la juicy gold is).

Well done Carolina Herrera!

edit/ps: I still love the original better as it is sexier, smokier and more mature - this one it its sassy/playful sister :) -hence this will go to a 'strong like' category whereas the original to the love category because it is so much more intoxicating <3

edit2:if I could describe its notes in one phrase it would be 'milky praline' - also, sprayed on clothes this doesn't smell of anything beautiful in particular - it needs skin to shine, so, keep that in mind :) *can't wait to try this in cold weather, as it still hot summer in Greece, in spite of being the end of September... (sighs...)

LawmaLlama

I got this as a gift last Christmas after having compared both Legere and the original Good Girl in store. I much preferred Legere over the original. However, the lasting power and sillage are just not there. Weak and sits very close to the skin. I find myself overspraying this to the point where I can no longer tell if anyone can smell it. I'm giving it one last shot when the weather becomes frigid. If it is a no go after that, it's outta here (even though I LOVE the bottle).

Sacha92

I love both Legere and the original, I smelt legere on my sister and i was like Wow you smell so good. So she sprayed legere on 1 write and the original on the other, as soon as i got home i went online and purchased both. The bottles look good, they both smell great. Stylish, feminine and Sexy worth every Cent.

RebeccaW6

I prefer this flanker to the original Good Girl. I have both of them. I find this perfume feminine and very sexy. Super long lasting. Easily 10-12 hours with good projection. My husband who usually don’t comment on my perfumes says this one is good which says a lot 😄

victoria.mei1992

It is pleasant, but didn’t wow me. Something from Black opium genre. Dry down is pleasant.

turkishgirl

this is a very boring smell.... cacao powder on me... don't love it smell like old perfume

bdragonfly12345

I like the original Good Girl, but I LOVE the Legere! I find original Good Girl doesn't last very long on me, but Legere stays for hours and hours! (My husband also compliments me every time I wear the Legere!)

I totally agree with @AngelBritney, that the original should have been named "Bad Girl" and the Legere "Good Girl"; Legere definitely seems like a sweeter, more innocent version of the original Good Girl.

AngelBritney

I sprayed the original GG and the legere on my wrists and left the perfume store. Here is my verdict after 7 hours of wear, 1 spray per fragrance:

I definitely think this version is a sexy "Good Girl" while the original tends to be the sexy "Bad Girl":
Legere smells softer, warmer and more floral than the original. A fragrance that can be worn day and night but personally I would choose Good Girl Legere for day and Good Girl for night.

The sillage is not as strong as the original GG but still noticeable. I understand why some think this is the better version of both perfumes.
I love both and the price is ok.

Legere lasts long on my skin (about 6 hours), makes me feel good (and a bit sexy) and the shoe is a cute idea.
It defintely stands out and is a nice decoration, plus it looks better than the original Good Girl bottle.

I give it an 8/10 because I think it should last a bit longer for that price tag.

Jadetive

I've sampled both the original and legere and to my nose, legere is better.

It moves from its fresh opening notes through its floral heart to its warm base notes very smoothly. This is such a full-bodied, addictive, well crafted scent.

It's warmer, sweeter, creamier and (to my nose) actually less floral than the original.

It's a strong scent as well, two sprays on my clothes will last me the entire day. (I live in a warm, humid climate) At the end of the work day, I can still smell this lovely fragrance.

My signature scent!

kbgirl19

After smelling both good girl and good girl legere at the fragrance counter this was my favorite. Much more wearable and something you can wear night or day. It still has that sexiness to it like the original too. It’s also a sweet scent that is different from everything else on the market right now in my opinion, and it is definitely unique.

The problem with me and this fragrance though is while I love it at first sniff, it is far too cloying for my taste and gives me an instant headache. I’m not sure what it is about it. I tried it twice and both times I had the same reaction. Loved it at first but couldn’t wear it for more than an hour before it gave me a headache and started making me nauseated. Maybe it’s something in the citrus opening or overall strong sweetness? I live in a very hot and humid climate so that may add to that, and sadly where I live winters are basically non-existent so I can’t even save it for that. Too bad because it’s beautiful but I don’t think I’ll be ever able to wear this fragrance. Sold the bottle I bought immediately.

codymarieb

I blind purchased this perfume before the original Good Girl. I thought it might be a bit better because it's "lighter". When you first spray it, my impression is "Wow, sexy woman on a boardwalk at the beach." It's light, delicious, sweet, mysterious, well done.

However, it is a bit headache inducing on me. As it sits on my skin, the gourmand notes sort of fade a bit and leave a heavy dose of citrus and bergamot which doesn't work well with my skin chemistry.

As much as I wish I could love and wear it, I don't think I'll be grabbing for it very often.

It is for SURE sophisticated, smells expensive, and it really does smell lovely especially when you first spray it.

But I prefer the original Good Girl for how it plays with my body chemistry. My boyfriend prefers it as well.

This one for me is a 6.5 out of 10. It would be an 8 if it weren't for the head-ache aspect.

terezzz

Good Girl is one of my all time favorite perfumes. I love to wear it in the evenings and when I go out because it's a bit too sexy for work and an every day setting for me. I wanted to try GG Legere because I wanted something lighter for every day that still had the original GG signature and I wasn't disappointed when I decided to try this flanker.

Good Girl Legere is soft, sultry and versatile for all occasions. It's light enough to be a signature scent yet it's interesting enough to wear during the evenings and special events. I really smell the ylang ylang, bergamot and dulce de lece notes in this fragrance. GG is more heavy on the tuberose and tonka, while in Legere the notes are turned down a notch. It may even be slightly more masculine. Honestly... if you like its predecessor this is a no brainer in my opinion, although if you didn't like GG because it was too intense, this one might be more up your alley. You really can't go wrong with this in my opinion. Longevity is about 6-8 hours on the skin and lasts longer in hair and on clothes. I rate it an 8.5/10.

Gummybear002

This is fine if you want to smell like a thick cloying basket of overripe fruits. The ylang ylang is in indolic and takes over the entire fragrance, it's really bad. I hate the shoe design, they make a bad one to begin with and tweak it to make it even tackier. There is nauseating vanilla and a smidge of BO.

Vanillastorm40

So much better than the original GG. This is sweet as opposed to the dry dustiness of the original.

Jessiejessjess99

This is a lot better than original good girl in my opinion. I don't like citrus but I appreciate it here. The opening is floral and citrus to me with some vanilla and jasmine. The praline is underlying, giving a sweet creamy coconuty feel. I would see myself wearing this in the day, in spring or summer in fresh warm weather. This is yummy gourmand but fresh at the same time, very interesting and refreshing!

Sabretoothkitten

I am really surprised that I like this as much as I do. The original is just ok to me, this one has a creaminess and white floral that makes me feel very fancy and special. It's a bit on the hotel and side but I think I can handle the tonka because of the other notes. I am going to get a decent and wear this maybe for a week and see what comments I recieve.
On the whole bottle/ name issue I actually like the stiletto bottle even if others find it hokey. I do not like the name Good Girl but it's not so embarrassing that I don't want to say what it is I'm wearing.

Calinare

Wow!! This is a more composed take on the original. The cocoa is gone and patchouli set back a little, the spiced flowers and milky citrus get to be with each other a whole lot more. To my nose, it retains by around 50% similar to the original, but the other half is a different story. It's closer to woody/yellow-white florals than heavy gourmandchoulis(LVEB, FB, BO). Drydown is still similar, powdery tonka and jasmine. STILL an early evening scent but can be worn in day, where sweet meets dark. You can both wear this in formal and informal events!

pjspaceshit

As a lover of the original Good Girl, I have to say I don't find this flanker to be that impressive as it's predecessor.

The opening is very harsh to my nose and regularly makes me sneeze. Strangely enough, I'm not able to detect any of the top notes listed, to me this scent goes straightly to smelling very sweet. When I spray it directly to my skin, it can be almost sickening sometimes, due to the pungent dulce de leche note.

I would love this to have a more floral and masculine kick, like the original has, because that's what made that fragrance stand out for me and fall in love with her. Good Girl Lègere is by no means a bad scent. In my opinion it's just not original enough and if you love the complexity of Good Girl, I'm not sure you'll find it here. I like it and enjoy wearing it sometimes, but it's not "the one" for me. But if you enjoy very sweet scents, I think that you won't be disappointed.

And also - heads up to the bottle, it's a beautiful piece of artwork (and yes, initially I found it cringy as well, but even if you dislike it, you have to give it some credit at least for the originality!)

xsmghn

Don’t know about the scent, but the bottle is awful. Such bad taste. Cheap.

Atomikbomb_

I agree with the poster below, I smell pear in the opening. A significant amount of lemon, and the ylang ylang too, but definitely pear. The ylang ylang sticks around with the tonka bean (I don't think it fades quickly) and it creates a beautiful intoxicating smell.

It's rich and caramelized all over, and seems much more blended and rounded out than the original. I tend to like original fragrances when compared to flankers, but I LOVE this and think it wins out over GG. The cinnamon and dulce de leche give it some yum. The tuberose is respectful and backstage here...just helping it all work.

There is some patchouli and cedar, but not enough to cut the femininity at all. I almost felt that Good Girl could be unisex, but this is decidedly womanly (people can wear what they want, this is just an overall impression). It still has the original DNA, but the vibe is different.

It's worth noting that my husband is usually weary of me asking him to sniff things, and he likes fragrance as much as the next guy but he's not an enthusiast. However, he actually REACTED to this one and told me he loves it 😂🥰 It's rare these days.

Even without his obvious immediate love for this by my dude, I'm considering purchasing the largest bottle. I have a splash and I'm savoring it until then! I actually think this is only *slightly* over the line for an office friendly fragrance, but it could be pushed if you're lighthanded with it.

—}—@ darlingbud

Reviewing GG Légère splash. The opening has a tanginess, a sourness, to it, but the fragrance later gives way to a sensational rose note at heart and a balsamic drydown that is compulsively sniffable. I found the patchouli. It is subtle but I love it. I am surprised not to see Love Relentlessly by Tory Burch in the “others who like this like” section, because the magic of Love Relentlessly (which is initially sharp) is the beautiful woodsy patchouli drydown.

Doubletake: The rosewood notes that were driving me crazy on my left wrist were GG Légère + Valentino Donna Rosa Verde.

I must have a hankering for a bouquet of red roses! I am now pairing GGL with Kate Spade’s In Full Bloom Blush because the latter amps up the rose.

Tripletake: The first splash of GGL is bracing like a men’s cologne (echoing Atomik’s comment), forest fresh. Spray version has an even better opening. Each stage thereafter is lovely. The longevity is impressive; it remains on my wrists the next morning.

lmwimsatt

I like to put this Cinderella slipper on my dresser next to hypnotic poison (snow white) and glam princess (belle)

—}—@ darlingbud

From a test at Macy’s, this wears sensual but not sexual. Floral, creamy, woodsy, with a dash of citrus. Lovely, not trying too hard. Reminds me of sweet fir and orange, like a lighter version of Holiday by House of Sillage.

Edit: Neiman Marcus House of Sillage Holiday starts a little woodier (Frasier fir and orange), but stays sweeter throughout than GG Légère. Légère has an evolution that gets better, one balsamic note at a time.

joanne.healey

First off was why do i think of cherry bakewell tarts. As no cherry then realised it was the almond. Absolute favourite of mine ..i normally detest gormand scents but this is just the right mix of floral and sweet warmth . My family bought me it as a gift..and mentioned coconut jasmine as know i love those notes..i think they are getting that confused with almond ..whatever its a very sexy scent

dsmercoco

Call me crazy but I smell coconut and pear in the opening.
If L'imperatrice and Dolce Garden had a baby, it would be this. To my nose anyway. I've never smelled the original so I've nothing to compare.
This is a fluffy floral. Kinda fruity, I swear I smell apple or pears and creamy coconut. Then it morphs into a creamy citrus caramel laced with soft musk.
It's very girlie probably better suited for warm weather but who follows rules really?
My only complaint is sillage and longevity which I find below average. I have to refresh after 3 hrs because it becomes non existant. If you can get it at a good price, then it's worth it.

Nicyoung

For a designer, I love this dry down! Im always looking for a beautiful scent. It doesnt have to be wild or incredibly different or complex.. I just like something that smells expensive, clean, feminine and good! This is balanced and different enough to notice but all orchestrated like a dance or song, just really pretty all day..I am actually trying for the first time today with another frag called french kiss by guerlain and they go together very well... so I will continue update once I wear on its own but if you have both try the combo.. really sharp with femininity but in the most rounded soft way.. if that makes sense.. thats my take :)

Sonyakaroliinaq

I was surprised that this doesn't have coconut, 'cause that's what im smelling! But anyway very pretty scent, i have the original one and i like that a little more than this one but i have to have this one also in my collection.

mevans

It's sophisticated and sexy. I have both the original and the legere and I love them both. This is a later version of the original and shares its DNA but it has its own personality. It's like the sweet, younger sister of Good Girl original. And of course, I love the bottle.

raiza1990

Sweet, elegant and soft. Lighter than the original and less memorable. The original good girl is more interesting. I like the legère version too, but the first one is more mature and daring.
Dominant notes are dulce de leche, ylang ylang, tonka beans and musk.
Sillage is soft.
Final note 7,5/10

Jessiejessjess99

I'm not a good girl fan however this version is very elegant, a fresher take on the original. I wouldn't say citrus is the most prominent note, it's quite equal with the floral specifically the rose and tuberose are what I smell first. This could be more day time appropriate, possibly for spring time. It still has that same sexy quality as the original but with a slight citrus to it which makes it a bit more wearable for casual settings or great for a date.

Sreza7

My opinion has changed since the last time I reviewed this. It smells really nice in the warm spring weather. The opening has a refreshing citrus and ylang ylang. The Tonka Bean and dulce de leche are intoxicating. Sort of an exotic scent. Tropical, sweet citrus. Would be great for summer as well. I’m getting Dolce Garden vibes in the dry down minus the coconut but I like this way more than Garden. I hope to get a rollerball soon. Last 9+ hours on my skin very long lasting.

Update 10/16/2019: gosh I can’t get enough of this, I finally got a full size bottle and I can’t be any happier! It’s light and strong at the same time. Much sweeter than the original. Lasts all day long. If you don’t like the masculinity of the original (like me) than give this one a try. Also every time I spray it on me it tickles my nose. Probably because the atomizer sprays out a very fine mist and it just floats right up my nose.

annubi19

A beauty! Elegant, fun, sophisticated and just gorgeous. I love all stages of the perfume the top, the heart and the base. On me the dry down is hint of citrus/floral more powdery and spicy due to the tonka and cinnamon note. What beautiful and unique scent. I hatedbthr original it was too heavy and India missed this one until I smelt it on a friend and asked her. To my surprise, she said good girl leger!! No wonder I loved it, it is light on the tuberose which makes me sick when it's intense like in the original. It is very much muted down and all the other scents are elevated! But now I own this and i truly enjoy it!

bluepistachio

This is sweet. A daring night perfume or can be used sparingly during the day. The dulce de leche note is prominent. It is something I would wear to a fun event or a friend night out. Sillage is strong.

robynhood_2000

I love this almost as much as the original. It's a beautiful, sexy, feminine fragrance. It smells very, very close to the original, so in my opinion, it isn't necessary to buy them both. The only thing missing is that deep, chocolate note. My only gripe is that it fades very quickly on me and I have to reapply it frequently. I'm not sorry I bought it!

Edemay

Holy tonka bean!
This is a soft, sweet, slightly powdery, yummy scent that I actually prefer over the original.
Got compliments after testing this and even my boyfriend said its different but really nice.
The tonka in this is also super strong and it even slightly reminded me of manifesto.
Except I find manifesto to be just too much but this is perfect.
Definitely picking up a bottle asap.

SailorV

Oh wow! I already love the original Good Girl, but I kicked it off my wishlist after I smelled Good Girl Legere and replaced it with it. Or maybe I need both? Anyways, this is a flanker done right, it‘s similar to the original, but different enough to be even better.
Like the name suggests, Legere is a little lighter, but that doesn‘t make it weak or faint, just more versatile and wearable. It‘s still very long-lasting and projects well on my skin and it‘s still a sexy, sensual fragrance.

Good Girl Legere keeps the three contrasting aspects that I love in the original EDP: Delicious gourmand notes, especially tonka, hypnotic big white florals and a hint of a scratchy men‘s cologne. But Legere is creamier, airier and fruitier. I really get a blend of different fruit in the opening, and also glorious sweet ylang-ylang and an almost minty-fresh edge. The dulce de leche note is like a milky, dreamy caramel, and it‘s blended in so nicely, making the fragrance delectable but not foody.
The final drydown is very similar to the original, but to my nose it‘s just more rounded overall.
Love it.

sopz

Really like this compared to the original, lighter version of the original.

MairyLou

I tested this yesterday and I bought it today. It has what I missed from the original good girl. Its softer and lighter. It is sweet in a very sexy way, I think the name fits but also the heel bottle fits the scent. Because this woman is sexy sweet. Not boring sweet :) I am a fool for tonka so I knew I would like that, it is not cloying at all and the chocolate in it is delicious. Thank God it was on discount. I had to take it.

Jazieboo7410

Tested this today at ulta. Sprayed on paper and on my wrist. While I do think this fragrance is really nice, it is too similar to a less expensive alternative. Upon initial spray this smells just like Jimmy Choo illicit. I prefer this over illicit though because illicit dry down is pure cotton candy on me and I hate that. The dry down of good girl is way nicer. While it's still sweet it has more depth. My issue is the dry down smells exactly like secret wonderland from bath and body works which is a much less expensive alternative. Not sure if I'll buy this for that reason.

KylieBooFace

Nope. I love the bottle and its color gradient. But it smells too complex/overpowering/mature for me. Ulta described it as "fresh," and the paper sample smelled ok. But in person I was turned off.

I really wanted to like this, on paper it smells beautiful. Something in my skin makes this go sour, I think it's the ylang ylang. Just a half spritz and it was making me sick, so I ended up selling. Much sweeter than the original but with the same sexy twist, just try before you buy! I'll have to stick to the original

To me this smells like if the original good girl and viva la juicy had a baby. I thought upon testing this in store that I liked it better than the original, but now that I have a full bottle I find it too sweet and like something I would have worn in high school. I do like it, just not enough to own a full bottle of it unfortunately.

I really liked this scent. Sophisticated, sexy, but still soft. Unfortunately, had to return it because it smells IDENTICAL to something I already had; Jimmy Choo's Illicit.

Their notes are completely different but somehow the scents are indistinguishable even to the most trained nose. I had three other people smell them both to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

Laurendhatch

With my skin chemistry, this smells like a stronger version of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre.
I wore the two on back to back days, and I love the performance of this gal much better!
Lovely perfume, but I'm not a fan of the garish packaging for such a light, feminine scent.

AmoreProfumi

I like this one moreover the original, this one's nice if you liked the original but found it a bit much.. I don't think the original was that strong but there is something to this one I just prefer better.. I guess maybe its just a little smoother.. Lighter, sexier & yummier then the OGG.. great date night or just an nice night on the town even say inoffensive for office wear.. say if you if you like GG but wanted it lighter deff. spring for this one! very love!

Good Girl was a birthday gift from my husband two years ago, this year I received Good Girl Legere from him and I'm so happy for finally having it
I like the original Gool Girl a lot but I like this Legere version a lot more.I had already reviewed it but I felt I have to write a second review now that I have it and have experienced a couple of times full wearing it.it opens a little sharp, bright and fruity.I feel it's a blend of bergamot and ylangylang smelling like unripe, almost green banana.this slightly sharp and bright fruity accord sits on a creamy, warmer and darker base.it's opening reminds me of Elie Saab Girl of Now Shine a bit,not that they smell the same, they just share that bright fruity opening rounded by warmer notes
After a while this fruityness is replaced by creamy flowers.Good Girl Legere has better pronaunced florals notes compared to the original Good Girl.ylang ylang, jasmine and tuberose wrapped by tonka and a gourmand chocolate-caramel thing is what I smell the most here,it's a sexy scent IMO,modern but grownup and it's wearable year round, now that I'm wearing it is a winter day but I believe it's even better on a cool summer night
Longevity is +8 hours on me and sillage is more yhan moderate.I prefer it's bottle to the original as I can see how much is in it and it looks prettier

The only thing that is a little disappointing is that the smaller bottles don't have the nifty spray button built into the heel like the larger one does. The 1.0 has a regular atomizer head built into the top of the shoe and the heel part comes off as the cap in the same way that the miniature splash does. Smelling the two side by side this one is definitely lighter and sweeter than the original, leaving out the coffee makes a big difference in the attitude of this scent. Will definitely give this a test run at work and see what the girls think about it.

So many great notes in this one! I really enjoy this fragrance, and love that as a flanker it is fairly unique---it shares SOME DNA with Good Girl, but they are more like distant relatives than sisters. Funnily enough, I don't get the dulce de leche note at all---this is less gourmand on me than the original, and is a citrus/jasmine/tonka fragrance throughout. The drydown is a citrusy cedar and sandalwood, with the jasmine and tonka still there, softly lingering over it all. I feel like the dulce de leche might show up on a warmer day, so of course I'll try it again in a different season to see how that morphs the scent on my skin. This is unlike anything in my collection right now, and I love it. Plus, the bottle is gorgeous.

Was never sure what medicinal meant before I tried this perfume. This smells medicinal and icy cold.
Gorgeous bottle though :(

Color me surprised, this is nice! I do not like Good Girl because of the citrusy florals and strong tuberose clashing with the spicy cacao/coffee notes. But Legere is a different story. The dulce de leche note is really delicious. Legere is much more gourmand than original Good Girl. The florals are toned down which suits me much better. I would highly recommend this one if you like elegant sweet scents. It's not candy, but sophisticated. Can be cloying if oversprayed though.

It's weird, I can't smell much. I was expecting at least a big like considering I like/love all notes that are listed. Will surely try this again later because today I must be partially anosmic to it.

PricklyAndHot

Actually, this version has a lot in common with original. But this one is more gourmand, thanks to dulce de leche. Also carhmere wood, tonka beans and citrus are noticeable. Maybe it seems a little bit mascuiline because of the cashmere wood note, but I like this note.

In general it reminds me Olympea. The same cashmere wood with sweetness.

I like this version more than original.

I like the original Good Girl, but this one was a love at first sniff.it has Good Girl gene but it's more feminine, more, smooth, less dark, less heavy, yet sweeter and more delicious.I can detect tones of dulce le leche here and I love it's warm, creamy, milky, caramelized, smooth deliciousness.and there's lots of tonka but a lovely floral heart prevents it from turning to a masculine tonka perfume.flowers are better pronounced here but not as tuberosey as the original,it's more about buttery ylang ylang and jasmine.I can also smell a hint of something like melted chocolate
Drydown is less gourmandish, drier, more woodsy, softer and less bright.
All in all I find it addictive,a gourmand with some depth and complexity.I'm also happy with it's strength and projection and adore it's bottle.for me it's wearable year round except summers
It's a must have for me but it's super expensive in my country,so I wish they continue making it until the time I can afford a bottle

In response to the review below:

You think a perfume is awful and disgusting yet you continue using it for months? That would make you either stupid or cheap wouldn’t it?

Im gonna be frank and honest, so if you are fainthearted, read further with care!

This smells like im in a barn full of wet dogs who are pissed all over the hay and now there are no open doors to me to flee! It is almost disgusting what this perfume does on my skin. It is nauseting on me so it was only one spray and i ran to scrub it off of me and literally throw it away on the couch for the next person in the house to pick up and do with it whatever.

On the first it is something that i can't quite recognise and it has bring the jasmine with it and they sat down on me - and had no intentions to just f#$k off. Then came the dulce de leche, and then the cedar. Now this was the point when it got a little better, like when on your long day of a migraine you can lie down for a half an hour and hope that the day is gonna get better after all. Yeah?! No. It doesn't leave you. The cedar and the dulce are leaving indeed, and taking every bit of sweet relief, and they leaving the jasmine and whatever annoying girlfriend she had bring. They stayed and laughing at you, because they starting to throw around the pissed down hay around you and rub your face in it, aggressively. That's what it smelled like on me. For real.

It has a strong presence and it is unscrubbable with a strong, long, hot shower too. I gifted it over to my grandma, who enjoys it quite much. I take she likes white flower middle noted fragrances - she has a lot perfumes with them in on their base. It is ironic that it has such a modern and obsessively sexualized packaging because i definitely imagine this on a modern day grandmother in her 50's-60's. And it is definitely for night, not all day wear. The sillage i can't quite shoot-in, but it's longevity is strong.

Im not advising purchasing it on a blind buy.
