Nomade by Chloé is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women. Nomade was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Quentin Bisch. Top notes are Mirabelle, Bergamot, Lemon and Orange; middle notes are Freesia, Peach, Jasmine and Rose; base notes are Oakmoss, Patchouli, Amberwood, White Musk and Sandalwood.

Chloé launches Nomade, the new pillar fragrance of its perfume collection. Unlike the 2008 Chloé Eau de Parfum pillar, created to present purity and naturalness, the new Nomade is here to evoke the bold, adventurous side of Chloe women. It was created from inspiration by freedom, surprises, desire for open spaces and empowerment.

Givaudan perfumer Quentin Bisch created Nomade as a floral chypre composition, including notes of Mirabelle plum, freesia and oak moss. The aim was to make it less floral and more "dirty" than the Chloé Signature. Chloé Signature represents a modern take of the perfume classic - the reinterpretation of the rose, while the new composition deals with the theme of chypre.

The shape of the bottle mimics one of the classic bags of the house - the Drew model. The face of the advertising campaign filmed by Fleur Fortuné is actress Ariane Labed.

Chloé Nomade is available as a 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

It’s very strange. On one hand, it has some “rich” notes that make you feel beautiful, on the other hand, though, smells like deodorant/air refresher.

Don’t feel it much throughout the day, feels like it doesn’t last long.
Also, don’t feel like it has very little trace. Have never been complemented for it.

Even though for other, I would get it at least noticed.

SultanBaşar

This perfume is unlike other Chloe fragrances; it's a unique scent. It combines woody and fresh notes simultaneously, making it very long-lasting and, in my opinion, one of the best designer perfumes to have come out in recent years. It's a scent that could suit anyone. Additionally, I always receive compliments whenever I wear it. I believe it's suitable for all ages.

Namingway_

For the first half-hour, it gives the impression of eating one of those peach candies with acidulated sugar on top (surely the citrus in the top note), but next to the toilet where your little sister would have sprayed on the air freshener (a smell that freesia usually evokes for me).

Then it becomes more distinguished, with the deodorant aspect fading and giving way to jasmine and a slightly powdery rose, with oakmoss making a timid appearance.

Finishes a few hours later on a very feminine rose and musky base that leaves you feeling clean and fresh.

Not as unisex as some comments suggest, I find it too feminine on me.

Useful details : english is not my mother tongue and my opinions are copied and pasted from my personal notes, written on the fly after several phases of testing (tracking changes for several hours on blotters, then on my skin for a day).

malake

smells like woody citrus, i don't enjoy this it's very chemical

Hifza

Rich, luxurious and beautiful scent! Couldn't be more happy about it, one could enjoy and be carefree about it. It's unique yet it gives that shower room kind of feels, it gives that soapy kind of feels after few minutes of the spray!

A.J.lamp

A complex, mossy, floral, woody perfume. If the taupe color has a scent, then this will be it. You won't appreciate it on paper, but you have to wear it to fall in love with the smell.

I sprayed it on my hair and I can still faintly smell the perfume even after I washed my hair the next day.

judith.l.ampatuan

It's an interesting perfume. A lady-boss. It's like a woman who is wearing an expensive silk blouse, a flowy long skirt, and loafers. It can be a unisex scent.

astralmonad870

I dislike fruitchouli scents and I couldn't unsmell what another reviewer described as a funeral home in the opening. However, the patchouli fades and in the drydown you are left with bright fruits. I cannot detect the florals.

Elysiom

This is a sweeter and more musky version of Coco Noir- I have samples of both right now and the similarities are obvious. That very gentle peach with musk combo feels like a throwback to 90's fragrances- reminds me of Ghost Myst by Coty- look at the notes. I might end up buying this one- I've been circling it like a shark for a year now haha.

velvetmist80

I felt a deep resonance the very first time I sprayed ✨️Nomade✨️ in a store. It stood out completely amidst the sea of gourmands and fruity-florals. It instantly grabbed my attention, and I knew I had to have it. 🤎

Nomade stands out from the crowd, just like a non-conformist authentic woman who can't be contained in one box. 💫 Unique and empowering. Modern and vintage simultaneously. A mix of class and a little bit of "dirt." A walking contradiction that's earthy, yet elegant. Complex and androgynous. Confidently sexy and heavy with mood.

On my skin, it felt perfect for evenings and autumn vibes. Long-lasting and moderate sillage.

luanneog

Somewhat masculine leaning. Could be unisex. Simple yet complex. Very fresh, elegant and sophisticated. Bright, citrusy, woody, floral and fruity. I'd say it's safe and mass apealing. It simply smells clean in a luxurious everything shower kind of way. Can be worn for any ocassion.

LoreinaL

Smells like a bouquet of fresh flowers at first spray, which I absolutely adored. The freshness is insane. An hour later, the scent transforms into a sickly sweet aroma. Like you’ve been sitting in a funeral home surrounded by flower wreaths. It’s too much. If you like that, then go for it.

kermzie

the perfect perfume if i needed to be perceived as a competent and gender-conforming Normal Adult Woman. job interview perfume. she is the eternally-polite coworker who skillfully evades any controversy with pleasantries and workplace-appropriate small talk. the only information you need to know about her is that she’s qualified and smells nice. better than nice—she smells positively hireable.

celestial

Chloe Nomade is a very interesting chypre perfume, in which I particularly enjoy the delicious fruity notes. However, on me it quickly becomes very soapy and the soapiness overwhelms the other aspects of the fragrance.

qofb

Wow, I dismissed this one when I first tried it in store. Years later, I smelt something a little like it and I retried it. I ended up buying a bottle. Fast forward a few years more and I am very close to finishing it. It's become one of my go to work fragrances.

This is citrussy, to me mainly bergamot and oakmoss fragrance, if you struggle with the almost soapy bitterness that oakmoss brings then you might not enjoy this. The slightly soapy feel is enhanced by the freesia, which is sensed as yet more soapiness, and there is certainly some peach, which is the warm peach skin kind rather than the juicy kind. In the drydown, this smells like all of the above but with a touch of fresh rose.

It's pretty and stands out because it's different. It's like a more modern Coco Mademoiselle in a way. Certainly one of the best designer fragrances of the 2010s for me. Long lasting and projects too, I know because I've had compliments on it. I'm tempted to repurchase this one, but I have a huge collection which I am trying to reduce, so perhaps not yet.

balihar5

Its a unique scent Ill give it that but after while it smells like coming out of a shower after using a heavy smelling soap. It is very nice and the scent lasts but its not a wow smell

Jordan 99

I absolutely fall in love with it on paper, but on me lately it started to be little bit masculine. Very beautiful, soft, clean interesting.

Tagimaucia

Chypre for beginners. Fruity chypre. You can still smell it in your clothes at end of the day.
Makes me happy. Great on a hot day

Complex Complex Complex!

2bClare

Smells like a very pleasant and basic chypre ( my phone’s autocorrect changed that to coyote which made me laugh, now that would be an interesting perfume) on first spray. After about an hour though the notes kind of divided on me and I would get a fruity peach interspersed with occasional strong wafts of what I can only describe as pine tree. It was interesting, but overall although there’s nothing offensive about this it also doesn’t really merit a purchase.

JaneDough

This is my signature! I’ve never smelled anything like this before. A love for me. I’m not a fan of patchouli in any perfume, but I love everything about this one. I have found that it works well for me year round! There are only three perfumes that have me constantly sniffing the cap or my wrist and this is one of them!

Enrium

Chloé Nomade has mass appeal written all over it. A lightweight, fresh floral-fruity with a barely-there chypre base, housed in a chic bottle that perfectly reflects the boho nonchalance of the brand, it is an easy, everyday feminine perfume.

Nomade opens with bright citrus, fresh but underscored by peachy sweetness, perhaps initially thanks to the mirabeau. It is sheer and lightweight, paving the way nicely to the sweet freesia-led floral heart. Sweet and aquatic initially, it becomes slightly powdery as it progresses and the clean jasmine emerges.

Powdery rose unfurls on my skin as it begins to dry down, fittingly coming to the fore as the patchouli emerges. The chypre base is mostly due to the patchouli, with some soft woods adding body. It becomes cleanly musky as it fades. Sillage and longevity are moderate.

A competently-composed scent, Nomade is a breezy spring/summer daytime scent, decidedly feminine in my opinion. It is noughties in style, and quite unmemorable, interchangeable with the myriad designer floral-fruities/fruitchoulis of that time despite its recent release date. Safe, versatile and pleasant, Nomade is ideal for gifting, but is ultimately unexciting. 3/5.

jdb_

Revisiting: it is divine. Fall-like/hobby lobby spices, soft patchouli, sparkling fruits, and a bit of the OG Sunflowers perfume! Sharp woody base I just adore supported by a fresh, soapy sweetness. Excellent performance. Classy but still light-hearted. (Makes me think of holiday movies where the families are hardly dysfunctional)

katjaeinga

smells like an old lady thats being mean and passing up backhanded compliments. doesnt work on me at all. best for cold days. smells kind of like warm linen sheets

Love2smellgoox

Nomade is amazing. It’s what I would call a bright chypre. I understand the comparison to Coco Mademoiselle.
But, there is just something to this which blends perfectly with my chemistry. It starts out with a citrus mixed with a woody smell.
The dry down is warm and comforting, yet very classic. I don’t know how this doesn’t get more love. It suits me perfectly.
A 40-something, professional, who likes luxury, but it also pragmatic and slightly bohemian. I have never smelled this on another female ever and I hope it stays that way. When I wear this people ask me what it is.
It’s my favorite.

The first and second time I tested this out of my travel size vile, I got a weird burnt smell. I'm guessing that the fragrance just needed to aerate because I don't pick up that unpleasant smell and I'm really enjoying this scent profile now. Though not an exact dupe, this gives similar vibes to Coco Mademoiselle. While I don't see myself buying a full bottle of Nomade in the near future, I do appreciate the beauty of this perfume! It's so sparkly and clean and the vision I see in my mind is a free-spirited woman wearing neutral colors, who lives in a converted VW van and travels cross country. My favorite part of this is the dry down when it's not as "punchy" and is more of a clean "earthy" musk.

jess.sophie.cluse

Was gifted this mistakenly by my dad who thought he was buying me the Naturelle/Jasmin Naturel version which I completely love and I think will become my new co-signature scent. Unfortunately he got it wrong, and this is so different to the natural version which I'm surprised they called Nomade at all really. I can't think of anything to say about this for now other than the fact this smells like a perfume. It is like the quintessential perfume smell. It smells like a stereotypical woman. Not in a bad way at all.
I don't know what it is that makes me so confused by these types of smells it's like I can only smell one thing and am incapable of discerning the different notes. I wish I could work out which note/combination of notes does this to me. It just smells like a cloud of perfume that's not pretending to be anything other than that. It's kind of like my scent receptors get blasted and over saturated by one of the notes and they stop working. It's very sharp to me. I'm just not built to appreciate it I suppose. I get this with other perfumes like chanel chance original and coco mademoiselle, the og miss dior formulation and more. I think it might be the patchouli, but I love it in things like Malin and Goetz Cannabis.

I don't dislike it particularly but it might as well not be there as far as I'm concerned, I don't get much enjoyment from it.

ps. if anyone has a theory of what could be the cause of this analysis from me, I'd love to hear it via pm!

rdsukh

Mix this with Lorenzo Villoresi Tent de Neige perfume oil and just - wow. No words.

Punarinta

My kind of warm weather scent (works in the cold too)! I dislike freshies that are just citruses or musky or florals, so when I tried Nomade I was pleasantly suprised. It had a different vibe :) Bright, fruity, slightly sweet opening and a nice grounding oakmossy drydown. Light and crisp but last on my skin for a good while. I also tried the absolu version and liked it, but ended up going with this one because its a little it more sparkly-juicy-feeling.

SofiaTeddy

I love. An immersion in the imagery of the Seventies that suspends the perception of time and space. It is androgynous, enveloping and very sexy. A fragrance that deviates from the polite Chloé matrix to follow the hyperbole of non-conformism.

mpazrl7

After smelling niche perfumes for a while, I really wanted to go back in time and smell those kind of perfumes my Mom used to use when I was younger. Those tender smells, though mature, where you could smell the sweet maturity of citric and sweet, but with that background of sweet make up at the back waiting for you in a Mom's hug. I missed it so much I was imagining this kind of smell and something in my everyday thought brought me to Nomade which I once smelled in a store. I have it now and I cant stop being back in those days when there where so many beautiful and original smells in the market, not overly sweet like this one (catch me, noah, amour amour, flower, etc....) this is a modern vintage perfectly equilibrated perfume that you can wear everyday, and has that mature but sexy, very elegant sense to it. In addittion the name cannot be more perfect, "Nomade" I can easily imagine a woman that moves and grow from place to place being just her beautiful self. I am in love.

kruk666

i found the patchouli note quite strong at first and that threw me a bit off since i don't like it at all, but it isn't very prominent later on. smells a bit old in my opinion but it's nice and elegant.

D@ne

I bought this right away when I saw the bottle on display at Sephora when it was released. As a guy, I find this very wearable (gendered perfume is an antiquated concept anyway). Only making this point so the boys don't pass this up just because of marketing.

I'd compare this to a great sweater that's boring AF on the rack, but once you own it, you find it wearable in any occassion. From the light, fruity topnote to the vaguely floral heart, this is a seamlessly blended neo-chypre. Much emphasis has been placed on the mossy bits, but I don't really smell moss, per se, but more of a moss-concept.

Terrific for anyone, at any time. Lasts and lasts, without being intrusive. And a beautiful bottle too.

Indignatious83

Love the moss and dank floral, but something about the hyper-sweet fruit makes this feel like boss-bitch-cosplay to me. I have a sample that came with a set and won't be purchasing a full size. My husband does tend to complement this, which is rare. Beautiful little bottle too.

Gothicat

One of my favorites. Citrus, spice, woody and powder heaven! It is the perfect cold weather fragrance. It lasts forever on clothing and almost all day on my skin. 2 sprays is all you need! I love to spray it on my hair as well. Highly recommend. I would also say it’s a safe blind buy. I have tried the shower gel and it was a nope for me…didn’t smell like the perfume. I want to try the lotion because I love to layer.

Greengate

This fragrance is beautiful. It smells clean and sweet, in a mature way. I only used two sprays of this perfume and it filled the room. This was a blind buy for me and I love it. I Usually wear gucci rush or paco robanne olympia and it is a similar style. I sprayed the purfume at 7am before leaving for work and could still smell it on my wrists at 9pm.

quuaach

Definitely my new favourite!! Gets me lots of compliments and people asking me what fragrance I'm wearing <3 When I was first gifted this fragrance it was very harsh and I wasn't too fond of it but on clothing and skin I found that it was sweeter than my first impressions from spraying into the air/on a tester paper. I can really smell more white florals, woodsy and peachy notes once it dries down - I don't notice too much citrus and generally I'm not fond of citrusy/lemony smells but thankfully on me it dries down beautifully.

Staying power is quite long lasting (after a full day it still lingers on my clothing) and can be smelled from an arm's length away which I enjoy - I want it to be noticeable but not overwhelming, I like a more intimate sillage. All in all so gorgeous, makes me feel sophisticated lol

Astaria_Rex

I thought this would be exquisite, but it just wasn't my experience. I believe this one is very sensitive to body chemistry, because on some people, it smells absolutely angelic: blooming into a fresh and airy bouquet of flowers and citrus fruit. I stopped a woman to ask her what she was wearing, because she smelled like heaven. I recognized the bergamot note. She said that this was her signature frag. I went to test immediately. When tested on paper and my skin, it smells like Calgon Freesia body spray. It's borderline air freshener. Harsh, synthetic, astringent and screechy. Spraying it on my clothing did not change anything. It just never bloomed for me. For the price, you could just buy Calgon Freesia and get the same smell for much cheaper.

mitchyworld

I tried this from a sample. It starts as a strong fruity floral, and I can't identify which fruits (maybe the mirabelle and bergamot). They're well-combined with the floral, mostly the freesia and jasmine. It quickly became a bit powdery, while still maintaining the strength of the previous fruits and florals. At 1.5 hours, it had changed to include more oakmoss and a little sandalwood and was more intimate (i.e., fading. I never got any patchouli, musk, or amber wood. By 2 hours, it was almost completely gone.

Overall, it's pretty and inoffensive and light. It's not a FB buy for me due to the lack of performance. It didn't seem innovative or original, although it was really well-blended and a good daily wear. Disappointed.

lemonsandroses

I find Nomade quite fruity and sweet, even compared to other standard department store offerings. It's powdery, stodgy, and artificial on me. Quite loud, a bit of a cacophony.

jadepo21

If I was reviewing this based on just the notes, it would be an epic win. It opens with a citrus burst that is somehow not too fruity, then transforms into a softer but not delicate floral before settling into the most exotic and lovely woody, musky scent. It's feminine without being girly and something about it just screams female empowerment. I imagine it's how Charlize Theron's character in Mad Max: Fury Road would smell. Yes, she is gorgeous but she'll also kick your ass. The scent itself is truly to die for. But sadly, I have to consider longevity and, on me at least, this was gone far too quickly. It settled into a skin scent within the hour and I can barely find it on my clothes. At a different price point I would just reapply and call it a win, but for the money, I would expect it to last. It saddens me to my core that this didn't have the staying power to match the glory of the juice.

Rosy Ricecooker

Very happy with it. On me, compared to the EDT, I find it a little less sweet, more woody, more powdery, citrus is a bit louder, and plum a bit quieter. I'd say it is more mature, slightly less feminine, less linear, and has a more intimate sillage. They are still both very mossy/patchouli and similar.

I like them both. The EDT smells like a sweet Christmas tree/moss bomb to me, but this is more like walking through a fancy house that has a big Christmas tree in it somewhere.

shery k

chloe nomade has a weird scent
other fragrances you should let it to dry down and after that you smell notes
but in this one when you spray ;first notes are more better and when it dry down it’s like a male perfume
idk i’m so confuse

brutals

I’ve worn Nomade EDP for years. Every time I go to spray it I’m excited to wear it still.

I despise patchouli, I can detect its presence even after the person wearing it has left the room. But praise be, the alleged patchouli note is nowhere to be found when I wear it. Nomade tends to quickly settle into an amber-y/musky (with a TINY squeeze of citrus on top that cuts thru the musk just enough to add a freshness and femininity), projecting and LASTING scent on me. The obvious citrusy freshness and mild florals that come with the initial moment of application is not at all what it’s like for the rest of the day. Also I can smell it still on a scarf that’s been in the closet since last year. Potent!

Those citrusy-earthy-fresh notes are ALL that come thru on my coworker who also wears it, none of the amber or musk or patchouli. So highly advise to try before buying as mileage varies.

Casbag11

I keep coming back to original nomade… it’s unisex and not overtly feminine whereas a lot of feminine scents are just too sweet and headache inducing for me… this has just the right amount of nuance that makes it interesting and slightly bohemian which to me is a walk on the wild side… if you’re done with your fruity florals try this. This is a walk in a forest on a sunny day or a desert night walk as the sun is setting … morning or night nomade had you covered

mothtoaflame___

It’s just the right amount of mass-market appeal to lure people in and inspiring enough to keep its crowd with sophisticated taste - I reckon that those who pick up significant masculine edges had no chance or interest to come across chypres, neither new age nor vintage, which is a pity. If you have issues with citruses and patchouli, you’re probably out. Certainly not a people pleaser fragrance in a gourmand dominated business, but some may forever be starstruck by its beauty (as I do).
(Wardrobe)

alien2002

gorgeous scent; i just wish it lasted longer on me :( i usually have to layer this with similar scents in order to bring it out more. it’s bright and not overtly floral. it’s super warm and inviting :)

smf13

Smells just like Miss Dior 2012, or close enough for those of us missing that era of Miss Dior.

Opens fresh and citrusy, warm rose & jasmine through the middle on a spicy, mossy, musky base. It works amazingly with my skin chemistry, feels very sexy and evening appropriate to me because it’s so warm, and I wore Miss Dior a lot when I was younger and going out, so I have that scent memory of Miss Dior mixed with nightclub, smoke and sweat (sounds horrible but is great in my memory). When I spray this I think ‘god that smells amazing’ and then the memories of my youth kick in and I like it even more.

wondervalley666

This is “glamping in Joshua tree” vibes, for sure. Or “shopping spree at anthopologie.” Expensive classy boho hippie vibes. I’m not usually a fan of patchouli or chypey scents at all, except for a couple that weirdly *do it for me.* I blind bought because I’m on a Quentin Bisch sampling kick after falling super hard in love with a couple of his other scents. This is normally not something I’d ever buy or wear, but I was really surprised by how nice it is! It does NOT have that BO musky dirty stank that most hippie patchouli type frags have which seriously feel suffocating and make me need to leave the room. It’s clean, fresh, well blended with notes that feel expensive and refined. It’s soft and pretty, while being incredibly powerful and long lasting. It’s actually quite fresh and clean but without an obnoxious soapinesss. It lasts very long. I sprayed once on my wrist, the spray dribbled half off due to my poor spraying abilities, and my wrist and gloves and jacket radiated this scent at full power from at least 1-2 feet away for a full 24 hrs and radiated at 1/3 strength for another 24 hrs after. I think I still catch whiffs of it a week later.

Yes, it’s a green hippie patchouli type scent but it’s probably the nicest one out there. The other notes take this away from mildewy musky smoky patchouli and make it fresh and classy. It’s clean and expensive. It isn’t offensive. It’s much more likeable than I thought it would be. So much so, I already ordered the absolu and edt. I don’t see myself wearing this all the time, but I definitely will be breaking this out often when I’m working in the California desert or hanging out with boho chic and hippie friends.

sunsetwitch

the opening was spicy/grassy and fruity, I could pick up the citrus, orange and peach the most, with subtle florals. the initial dry down was good, the grassy note wasn't as strong, which I prefer. over time the fruity note diminished and was left with only spice and florals, which made kind of musty. I'm disappointed because I loved the initial fresh fruity/floral dry down. I wanted to love this! It lasts maybe a few hours and doesn't have strong projection. this is mature with slight complexity. 6/10

CSarwar

Just tried this today in store and the dry down really reminds me of Parfums De Marly Valaya, a fragrance I don’t like but if you do then this is a much more affordable option.

wintersnow7

Nomade is so beautiful. It's bright, citrusy, and full of life. The woodiness is grounding and the spiciness adds depth and character. She is wealthy, stately, elegant, and is a total boss. She lives on an estate and rides horses in her free time. Everything she wants flows to her naturally. She is that girl. Everything Coco Mademoiselle wishes that it was and more.

yy123

Opens sweet, citrus, plummy, then synthetic musky floral? slightly sour, sharp, and earthy. Very irritating. Good performance though.

ntabassum92

I love Nomade, I own the EDT and have been wearing a sample of this EDP for a couple of days now. I would say the differences between EDP and EDT are slight, I don't notice them unless I sniff my skin directly. I smell more of the fruity notes in the EDP, more sweet orange and lemon and a sweeter plum note. The EDT is more fresh. The EDP also lasts a lot longer, I can smell it strongly after 12 hours, although I think they both have the same amount of sillage initially. Both are great, unique, modern chypres that truly capture the beauty of vintage oakmoss masterpieces but still being so fresh and wearable today.

vtothek

This is a very nice and inoffensive scent, despite the slight spiciness on the dry down. It’s a mature but not “old” scent, and the opening is crisp and citrusy. Somehow despite having very different notes I do detect a similar DNA as the original Chloe, but this is like the boho chic cousin to that fragrance. I’m so glad the jasmine and patchouli in this are very subtle, since those two notes can quickly dominate a scent of left unchecked.

I think this would be a nice office/job interview scent, and a nice signature fragrance for a certain kind of person. While I like it there’s no way I can get away with wearing this every day, it’s just not my aesthetic. Overall though I’d say this is a safe blind buy for most people.

Melis.t

I don't smell anything masculine/unisex about this and it's not too earthy or mossy on my skin. It opens up with bright citrus then settles into the slightly sweet woody-floral scent. I am confused if it develops much different on me than others. I don't feel patchouli as well which I dislike usually.

lillirighter

This is the only explicitly women's perfume I've ever bought full size, as a masculine leaning woman, and also one of the only fashion brand perfumes I've every bought. It's my closest thing to a signature scent. I love the clean, fruity citrus in the morning and by afternoon the warmer muskier spice. I've also had partners say it's super floral, so I think it reads a little different to everyone. It makes me feel like a designer handbag, in a good way, and I think it's also my longest lasting and biggest throwing scents.

Hear me out as I try to explain this… there’s something about the Chloe Nomade line that reminds me of when I was little and would secretively approach my mom’s vanity, sniffing the tops of each of her perfumes (this was in the 90s) Not because my mom wore scents like Chloe Nomade but for me there is some kind of grown “perfumey” quality about this whole line. Maybe it’s the oakmoss.. but It makes them read a bit mature and definitely sophisticated. I’m a 30 year old woman with no desire for “girly” scents but the nomade collection somehow sends me back to feeling small, thinking “oh this is what ladies and teachers smell like.” Regardless they are beautiful, well composed, elegant fragrances! Perhaps I just don’t feel classy enough for them at this current juncture in life 😅

AUyliong

Opening smells like mango. Reminds me of Vilhelm's Mango Skin but less grounded. This is airier and lithe. I'm guessing that's the Mirabelle. I'm also picking up the citruses in the background. Projection and sillage is strong at least in the beginning.

Scent is already dry on my skin. Citruses are still hanging in there. The way it's evolving I can tell this could work both as a casual scent as well as an inoffensive office scent. Projection is still strong. It's overpowering all the other scents I've sprayed on my arms to test. I'm thinking this is the more mature and grown up D&G Light Blue for Women.

Half an hour in it's dried to a clean, soapy Jasmine scent. It's also closer to my skin now. The soapiness reminds me of Dylan Blue for women.

An hour in and scent is no longer projecting. close to skin now. Smells clean, soapy and slightly powedery - it smells a little like the perfumed restrooms inside high end malls and hotels.

Nomade has strong boho-chic vibes to my nose. That's the kind of girl I imagine being into this type of scent.

SarabeineHoney

It smells like sunflowers younger more modern sister or cousin… more floral and chypre than sunflowers

betheljaviles

I love this fragrance for the fall and daytime! I don’t typically like patchouli at ALL but this blends so smoothly with the citrus and sweet notes to where it doesn’t bother me. On my skin, the oak moss and wood notes really shine in the opening; however, once dried down, it becomes a more masculine kind of soapy scent for some reason. I wish the longevity was better and that it retained more if its opening “punch”. Nonetheless, still a staple for me because it’s so aligned with my personal style and character.

goodchat

I love most of the Chloe perfumes and so upon initial spray, I was pleased. However, almost instantly it made me think of that smoker friend who's doused in perfume to hide the smell -- that weird underlying vibe that Glossier You also gives me. It does have that typical Chloe rose you expect with their fragrances, with a touch of synthetic mossiness. It wears down pretty fast, by 4 hours it's much softer and quieter even on my clothes, and the musky amber notes come to the surface. I wouldn't buy this full price, but if I stumbled on a deal at TJ Maxx or something, I'd grab it because I can't resist Chloe, even if it's tinged with cigarette friend smell.

Sillykn

To my nose it just smells like a weird synthetic moss that clings to you all day long. No complexity at all just straight up dirt/moss.

bergamot81

Agree with ljsmith below! Chance Eau Fraiche was my signature scent about ten years ago and I feel like I've just found the grown up version. Woody, citrussy but very elegant and subtly sensual. Every time I get a waft of this I feel like I'm walking in a magical forest. After a few hours, when it has truly settled my skin smells like warm sand on a secluded beach. It took a long time to find this beauty - I never thought Chloe was my thing - but it's a keeper.

ljsmith

I really love Nomade. In my quest for the perfect signature scent a friend let me borrow her bottle and it is now the clear front runner. The original Chance EDT was my first ever “grown up” perfume in high school, and Nomade feels like the perfect answer to that in my 30s. I love the classic chypre balance, the delicate, wispy, feminine fruits counterbalanced by the grounded, sultry, mysterious earthy woods and patchouli and moss. The base notes make their presence more known in Nomade, making it feel more self-possessed, more confident and adult, less of the sparkling pink lemonade (less, but not none!) I loved in Chance.

Margoose

If your chemistry blasts animalic notes, proceed with caution. This was beautiful on paper, and really lovely for the first few minutes. However, after the dry down, the oak moss here didn’t add depth or earthiness, it became the headliner on my skin. This wore heavy on me. It’s a shame because I can tell it would be sparkling on others. Moral of the story— this isn’t a blind buy, but worth a test you let settle through the day if you like rose scents and want to try something in the chypre style.

lmnsvgz

The OG Nomade is such a good modern chypre scent. It was the earthy wetness as well as the fruity juicy sweetness which makes it wearable for people used to sweeter modern scents. I don't enjoy it as much as the EDT with lychee or the Jasmin Naturelle version with date but it is stunning!

solida

Chloe has always been one of my favorite perfume brands. Nomade is a deep and elegant scent with floral notes, best suited for evening events.

dreamingrose0520

It smells like a citrus scent with that powdery Chloe signature smell and some airy sweetness at first. After a few hours it turns into a deep, almost masculine, pungent musk that I can't stand. I do not like musk, even lightly. Mojave Ghost is too musky for me so Chloe Nomade is like an explosion of musk after a few hours. It's beautifully made for what it is, if you like musk and want something different but if you don't like musk like me, beware!

Juicyvine

I was very intrigued and delighted upon first sniff at Sephora, and filed to return again to this. Fast forward to today with a skin test... HORRIBLE dry down! BLECH! It just became worse and worse on my skin as the base revealed itself- just awful. It's such an off putting odor that I find in a lot of men's colognes that I am repelled by. So glad I tested it my skin before purchase!

Ground hound

A fresh floral smooth scent, with peach and plum notes, very inoffensive, a bit powdery, not too sweet but not cold either, clean, elegant. I don't think it's too citrussy, the peach-plum side seems to be dominant. The wood part is barely noticeable- this is a floral-fruity reduced sweetness office friendly perfume.
Very likeable and pleasant.

Aglopez09

I am not a floral girlie but this one is my " grown up woman" perfume and i love it! Pair it with Dama Bianca for an added sweetness & it becomes... *chef's kiss*

chunghale

As a gift for mom, i must to say this bottle very worthy. Suitable for woman from 30 to 40 years old. Smell sweet like blooms jasmin on top note and after 30s to 60s like a cup of lemonade. Yup, it's classy & elegant.

Bhavnalovesscents

Gorgeous scent. Very signature worthy. The woody notes blend perfectly with the fruity and floral notes without making it sweet or cloying. Its one of my most favourite creations from Quentin Bisch for Chloe. I discovered cedrus recently by chloe atelier, another gem from Quentin Bisch. Its very sophisticated and elegant. This perfume is a statement. The vibe is just right. I love Nomade and will keep repurchasing it.

h149

I’ve always hated Chloe’s rose, probably from overexposure due to its popularity. I thought I might try what seems to be the only offering on the menu that isn’t meant to pummel me over the head with it.

I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s smooth and deep like a slowly dragged cello chord. A crystal clear and super clean floral heart shines from within, framed neatly by a little fruitiness and fresh earth. It smells polished and balanced and like I put a bit of thought into it but at the same time it doesn’t give away anything personal about me - just like an outfit I’d put together for work. I could see myself wearing this to the office every day; Chloe must specialize in that kind of fragrance, because their rose offerings are worn by almost every office lady in my country. Tidy, unerotic fragrances that could never get you called into HR.

If my next job forces me to dress more formally and stifle more of my personality I’ll pick this up to complete the “blank slate, willing cog” effect.

The13thHour

Nomade is my favorite and most complimented Chloé perfume. It's not a everyday fragrance for me. It's clean and green from the moss and citrus with a perfect touch of sweetness and something magical that brings the notes together. It's definitely a date night and day type of fragrance. There is no other perfume that I came across that can match this perfume. It is so well done and it's a must-have in your collection even if you are not into fresh and earthy perfumes.

pinotos802

Unpopular opinion: it's nothing special. Reminds me of la vie est belle, and after an hour or two this develops and smells like a man's fragrance on my skin. Overhyped by fragrance reviewers.

Showard3

I absolutely adore this fragrance but it’s so temperamental, worn in the wrong weather it turns into a screechy citrusy smell that I’m really not a fan of. In cool dry weather (like 60 degrees and under) it’s fruity, warm spicy, and mossy in the most gorgeous way. It’s equal parts earthy and elegant.

Peaches&Cream

Let’s start off by saying this fragrance is to be dressed up, it is inoffensive yet classy and elegant.

It isn’t too sweet, it is earthy, woody, mossy, I get patchouli and a touch of citrus. I find that it blends so well. It was a cloudy and windy day today and I decided to pull Nomade out, was a great choice to wear it out. I find that this perfume will wear so well in the fall because of the earthy, mossy (patchouli and oak moss).

This fragrance comes off mature …younger adults may not like this fragrance. I will definitely be buying a 75ml once I get halfway to my 50ML bottle.

Tdot23

I love this perfume! It’s my new everyday staple. The opening is my absolute favorite, so fresh but complex. The dry down almost becomes a my skin scent. It’s classy, mature, and fresh

AlexandraRoseD

Had an amazing fresh opening when I tried it in the spring, so bought a full bottle.

Now every time I try it in the summer it smells like the scent of a parfumed sweaty armpit on a shirt...

Update=================
Gave up after five months of trying and gave this parfume away.

xxogyalie

It’s reminds me entirely TOO much of aftershave with a touch of the base notes. I did not smell any of the top of middles notes at all — even at first spray, die down and hours later. Just gives me straight up masculine vibes, my body chemistry definitely doesn’t like this scent bc I had her for just about 2 years now. Like, you can tell where it wants to be feminine but the base notes takes that choice away.

Sabcia

I love to wear this in the autumn. It's exquisite.

Spirakel

From the description and campaign imagery I thought this might be up my alley, but no :(

I tested this in a perfumery today. The opening was overwhelming, the notes were jumping at me all at once, making a cacophony. It took three hours before the chaos somehow calmed a little, so obviously, longevity and sillage are great. My husband's comment is that it reminds him of a deo spray he used as a teenager in the 90's.

I blindly ordered a Chloé Nomade absolu de parfum that I haven't received yet. I'm scared that it might be somewhat similar to the EDP, though reviews say they're really different frags. Probably will return the absolue unopened.

UPDATE: The scent is still strong, and projecting, 22 hours after I sprayed two spritzes in the elbow. So if you like the fragrance, the performance is extreme.

hayjuney

Not liking it for the amber notes

kittywhiskers

Blind bought a cute lil 20 ml bottle - Smells exactly like Club de Nuit... lovely fragrance but feels a bit redundant as I already have a big bottle of CDN. Was hoping it would resemble more vintage-style chypres but this is very modern, crowd-pleasing scent, nothing controversial about it - a safe blind buy in my books.

Faeriecoma

I tried to like this because I wanted to smell like a fairy in a forest. But I can’t get over the strong patchouli and the oakmoss it smells like pine to me which is unpleasant because I grew up hating the smell of the pinesol cleaner. I wanna try again with the newest nomade flanker but for now this isn’t for me although I like the dry down a little but not enough. I’m giving this to my older sister.

bbyevrm

smells like u were trying to cover your sweat and cigarette smell with a fruity perfume

Zoeanne

On my skin this is a burst of citrus, peach and florals. I applied in the evening and could still smell it on my skin in the morning! I can see myself wearing this regularly, it's so easy to wear.

MariaGabrielaKristina

Don't like the smell - it is like a shaving cream to me.

RoxannaVonD

I discovered this fragrance trough my boss. She always wore it and I thought to myself "well this doesn't smell bad", so I asked her what it is and she said "Oh, it is the Chloe perfume". So i started searching for it in stores and finally found it. The price was good for the 50mL bottle i purchased. Boy oh boy, was it a blind buy. When i sprayed it on my skin, i was shocked to see how differently is smelled on my skin. There was none of that green, citrusy sweetness that I like, only this cold patchouli smell. Don't even get me started on the longevity which is horrible (I had to reapply every hour or so) The sillage was also not the best. This fragrance has potential, it just didn't work on my skin. I ended up giving it away to my friend. Buy it if you like musky, citrusy, sweet fragrances, but be warned about the poor longevity

jwelch13

It smelled like it food/spice section of world market but I’m into it

Duckling

On clothes, this is straight up YSL Baby Doll. That sweet, tangy grapefruit-like note takes me straight back to 2004 :D

Jenniferx921

I absolutely love Chloe Nomade! Its one of the most unique designer perfumes out there. Its not sweet but its smooth and elegant a bit earthy but its not masculine in my opinion. If you're bored of your typical sweet designer perfumes then I highly recommend to get your nose on Chloe Nomade!

WinterSneeuw

Cardinal by Zoologist is like a better version of Chloe Nomade

deannablanc

I tried this in a Sephora by asking a young sales woman if there are any new scents she likes, and she recommended Chloe Nomade. I don't usually buy same day as smelling something in the store, but take a sample to wear for several days before making a decision. It was pleasant in the store, bought the 1.7oz parfum in case I got sick of it. When I first sprayed it at home, it wasn't recognizable with what I smelled in store, there must have been too much interference in the air. The opening and closing brought me back to something very familiar, and it's the closest I've come to having my beloved YSL Babydoll back in my life.

KladfvbungMicshk

Love this! Reminds me a lot of Chanel’s Chance, but with more notes: fruitier and mossier. Like if Chance and Bal d’Afrique mixed. A bit of Coco Mad as well. It’s a bit leaning masculine, and what I’d imagine Coco Mad would be if it were masculine… (Coco Monsieur?). Sometimes I feel like there’s definitely some leather in this as well. It treads the line between unique and common, making it an interesting but work-safe fragrance. Lasts all day. The patchouli is spicy and might be overwhelming to some but it’s well done in this fragrance and not sharp.

twoleftfeet

Dude, I love this fragrance. This is something else. This perfume was my first contact with oakmoss, the note I didn't know I needed in my life everyday. First time I spritzed myself with this I was shocked. Oh my, it stinked. Truly stinked. Don't know why I kept coming back to this, till I decided I needed a full bottle. Then another one, and another one. Now that's really special, cause I never repurchase my perfumes. Nomade is elegant, yet has an 'au naturel' vibe. Smells earthy and a bit nostalgic to me. It definitely got some weirdness in it, but I'm okay with it - and everyone near me too. I get often complimented. I feel I can wear this anywhere, from work to night dates to no-make up days in the countryside. Sillage and longevity are moderate to strong.

jesz

It's almost a non-scent. It kind of just blends to the background, a suede/sweetgrass/wildflower hint. Very soft.

Im_only_lurking

It's just ok..
It opens up too sweet and that's all it projects, for the very few hours it can project, which are like 2. Then it becomes a skin scent and if you really reaaaally look for it, if you really dig your nose on your wrist, you'll find some mossy, earthy goodness. I envy you all who can only smell oakmoss!!

To me it is just a freshie fruity scent with average longevity, minimal sillage that turns to shampoo after 3 hours. Not retro, not green, not earthy :(

Londonhermit

This one's tough for me. It smells like oakmoss which smells like dirt to me. My body chemistry picks up all the strong notes and none of the floral or fruity notes. So basically I only get the Oakmont from beginning to end. Oddly enough despite how strong this is it doesn't last long or project itself.

emilia123

This one surprised me! I was really scared seeing the mossy/earthy accords here (as a fruity/freshie lover) - but it works really well. Very unique without being offputting, and a great transition from fruity body-spray-esque perfumes into more “mature” and complex scents.

Tincel

Sparkly fruity, ok, but where is the chypre?

amal21

sharp citrussy opening with woody notes but then after a few hours it becomes very sweet. the longevity is good but sillage is intimate. lovely, bright, elegant perfume overall.

artsymom

The EDP smells sickeningly SWEET on me, like berries on a bed of roses. 12 hours later I catch a very fleeting glimpse of the earthier, floral side which is perfection. Then a few minutes later all I smell is cloying, scratchy sweetness again. My nose feels broken lol. I’m so curious to know if the EDT has the same effect.

Hessieg

For an even fresher experience, layer this with Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine. It amplifies the citruses and tames down the white florals and oakmoss. Soooo good!!

natalieilatan

I don't understand where people are getting earthy and mossy from with this, it smells like watermelon sweets to me? With maybe a tiny bit of dryness behind?

Angelxo

Chanel vibes. Love it. Super elegant, classy and sexy. I usually go for sweeter, more feminine scent. This is divine.

Hartsy3

This fragrance is so special and different from most fragrances you'll find at the big box stores. The mossy note makes it feel a bit retro, green and earthy. But it's still massively appealing. It has great longevity and sillage. It smells fresh, fruity, and clean. This is definitely a grown woman's fragrance and I am here for it!

Maddiec1999

Picked this up at airport in a 20ml bottle after testing it briefly, and wow I’m obsessed! It’s a unique & classy smell. Strong patchouli and definitely earthy. Only thing is the projection and longevity is not that great so I have to do a lot of sprays but other than that, I love it. 🤍

H_thur

My nose picks up a spicy, sweet, floral complex beauty of a scent! I picked this up in Vegas and used it throughout my trip, so naturally I have a scent association with this. I feel sophisticated and like a high roller when I wear this perfume. I loved dressing up and wearing this perfume to watch Vegas shows and walk around the bougie malls in Vegas. It literally is perfect for that kind of vibe.

kallico

The opening is so fruity, juicy and delicious. Florals are nice and smooth.

Wonderfugl

I am very surprised that Palo Santo isn't on the list of notes as this is exactly what it smells like to me. A dry, spicy heat, precisely like wooden stub I stumbled upon on a mountainside in Himachal Pradesh, heating in the sun releasing it's scent into the warm air. 'Nomade' is befitting as name. I see the desert stretching, feel the warm gusts of strong winds, hear the sound of garments fluttering and the little silver bells on the animals. Would have been amazing with an animalistic note representing the camels of the caravan, moving steadily across the dunes.
The scent it interesting and alluring, strong and focused, not flirty and playful.

justcheckinout

This one confuses me a bit because I don’t get any oakmoss and little patchouli. Many describe this as a modern chypre but I actually find it quite floral and fruity. I get creamy white floral in the heart notes. As it dries down, there’s more sandalwood with a hint of patchouli. The drydown kind of reminds me of BR540 without the caramel note, and ambrox is lighter in Nomade. Only ambrox is left 5 hours after spraying.

malikun

My most complimentary fragrance so far, even during covid people could smell it through their masks haha

Orchids55

A Soapy sawdust citrus smell. Not for me.

Icarel

What a fragrance. Special in its kind, it is a designer perfume that is really different from all the others released in the last 10 years. Earthy, but also luminous, my nose perceives a remarkably interesting mirabelle plum, peach and oak moss accord. It is soft and reminds me of linen, and safari jacket vibes, but also of warm sand. It also has a palm tree feel to it. Desert in Stars Wars vibes. Marrakesh. Maybe due to the bottle that is shaped like this, but the smell also reminds me of a handmade leather bag. I'm surprised it's categorised as a women's fragrance as I perceive it to be unisex, and I think it would have been more famous if the brand had gone in that direction. It holds very well on the skin and clothes. But above all, it is a perfume that will give a singularity since in the middle of My Way, Black Opium, Good Girl, Scandal (which I also adore, I have nothing against) etc., it will make you shine/different, especially by its little oasis/ woody side, not that sweet and not really girly girl/girl boss babe vibes but rather down to earth.

amgenus2015

This is a really lovely scent, but on my skin it smells different than on the testing strip. I think patchouli really doesn’t agree with my chemicals.

On the testing strip it’s a really light floral, but a good take on Chloe DNA that is less sweet. On my skin, some of the sweetness stays, but there’s definitely more of a sour note in something, a little more dark green

jasminelust

I read through all these reviews and was pretty convinced it was for me... went to smell it and it reminds me loads of coco madmoiselle, which I used to wear as a teenager, but really don't want to smell like now. I think it's got a boozy peach smell in common, and it's just too similar for me.

Having said that, it is an intoxicating summery scent, and the longer I wear it the more it dries down into something I'd love to wear. A nice woody floral. I'll have to see if I can get over the opening, or track down the other perfumes in the nomade line to try.

Edit- the longer I'm wearing it the more I love it, in the drydown it just sparkles and soothes and feels like wearing a second skin. I'm taking a trip to a large perfume store tomorrow just so I can sample all the Nomades.

Pewbom

This was my signature scent for a long time ! Fresh soapy and complex at the same time. It’s a designer fragrance with niche quality . The longevity is good

sadiyam

shampoo vibes

Wiktoriaaaz

Okay.. so I left a review for
This when I first got it ages a go. I’ve started using it more again as it’s getting warmer, and wow… compliment central. I like the scent, but ever since the daily compliments I now love it lol. A girl is obsessed with me because of this scent, literally all up in my neck. I had a man come BACK to my job to ask me to write it down for him so he could buy it for his wife, and then came back and said she’s the happiest woman alive and he’s happier to smell it everyday!!! Then just multiple other compliments from others! This gotta have some pheromones in it cos whenever I wear this people go feral 😂😂

cats_eye

This smells like the original peach Caress bar soap. In a good way! It's very soapy and clean with a mossy wood drydown.

Msanya40

I first smelled this in an airport and yes just loved the spiciness. I then got a set of it. Overall I do love it but sometimes there are notes in it I don't like. I'm not sure is it the Oakmoss or the Sandalwood because other times the other notes comes through more and in combination it is beautiful! But other times there's sharpness there that is ok. I do love it overall, it's really complex, it is beautiful and it's more of a fresh spiciness. Beautiful bottle!

npadua13

This perfume makes me feel classy and sophisticated. The performance is amazing and last all day with just a couple sprays. It has a strong fresh moss note that makes it unique and not too feminine. I think it would be best for the cooler weather because it’s so strong it may be a bit much for hot weather. However it’s fresh and uplifting so it gives me spring / early summer vibes but we will see how it wears in the hot weather.

MissAnnette

This reminds me a lot of Miss Dior Chérie (2010) the formulation without the popcorn note.

-tested from carded sample

ohmydarlingcats

I heard a man on tiktok calling it a sweaty armpit... and I have to agree.

Rose1412

This smells like musky, dirty citrus fruits with some boozy peach and moss. Pretty, but not really for me.

Clavicula

I'ma be honest, I was drawn in by the presentation. The soft pink clay color, the shape of the bottle (I don't buy purses, I didn't realize what it was, not familiar with the brand at all)

My typical style is niche, unisex, too heavy for many situations. I love oud, smoke, resin, Slumberhouse, Prin, kerosene, you get the picture.

I was looking for something more approachable, elegant, confident, essential femme fatale vibes, that felt elevated above my impressions of designer fragrances but still blended in with my style. Somehow I knew this would be it.

I will be burning through my travel spray and my hands are already eager to touch that pretty bottle. I love it and it was exactly what I was looking for. I want to project how it makes me feel 😍

Janelle224

I’m usually into sweet vanilla scents but I actually like this. It’s very unique and gives off boss woman energy. I personally like to layer it with a sweet floral/vanilla body spray to make it sweet. It lasts pretty long as well.

VanessaD19

This is a nice smelling fragrance. I Really loved this the first time i tried it but, the second time i wore it to work it was a freaking bomb. I sprayed it 4 times and it was just way too much. I think the entire building could smell me. Now im afraid to wear it to work. Good thing i only got a decant. When i asked one of my fellow frag head co-workers what he could smell the most he guessed patchouli. He was probably sensing the earthiness from the oakmoss as patchouli. It does smell really good and unique but dont ruin it by overspraying, which is easy to do with this one. It is also reminscent of a chanel fragrance where it smells "like perfume." You do also get the sour mirabell and some lovely peach with the florals too.

AlliLovesFragrance

This is definitely a woody floral perfume. It's an ok fragrance but for some reason, it's reminding me of baby wipes and I don't like that.

alexoxoxo

I actually love this. I'm mostly getting bergamot, rose, freesia, a bit of the peach, and definitely the oakmoss and patchouli. I find the citrus, floral, and earthiness are all playing well with each other, a constant dance that the notes move in and out from. It leans somewhat masculine for me, but it's bright, punchy, floral, sexy. I see this as a versatile scent - from office to date night, and best worn in Spring / Summer.

novarenata

I've requested a small vial of the edt to test sometime ago from my local Sephora and totally forgotten that I've had it all these while! Anyway, I tested it recently and I so LOVED the fragrance! Can't really tell of the notes but I do agree that this fragrance has a masculine touch to it -- sort of like a signature tomboy fragrance -- think Katharine Hepburn in wide-legged pants. This fragrance is also very uplifting and made me feel so good wearing it! Perhaps one of the reasons why I decided to get it is that it's such a wonderful mood booster! Also helps that Sephora was having a sale, so I could finally get a bottle on a discount.

Nanalvzpink

I experienced this perfume at the store the moment that it came out, it has always been on my wish list but I don’t know why waited until now to purchase.

This is sophisticated!
If you’re wearing sweat pants and spray this perfume, you will feel like you are wearing the most expensive sweat pants sold in stores. Lol

I recently layered this with Vanilla 28 and it worked well. This combination smells like velvet vanilla’s bubble gum vibe. I recommend.

If you have a over 10 fragrances, you do not need the big bottle of Chloe Nomade, this is not a perfume that I will reach for daily, so it will last a long time.

dinkleheit

This is a very classy and elegant perfume. I would say it's most fitting for summer, spring, and fall months. I smell mostly the citrusy scents, but I also get a little bit of ginger as well. Overall, I really like this perfume and I usually get compliments when I wear it.

Shikin27

Out of all the fragrances I tried at Sephora only nomade made a lasting impression. Didnt purchase it on the spot. I forgot about it then went to another Sephora and tried it again and remembered how much I liked it the last time. I waited for a couple of months and finally decided to purchase it. I couldn't believe how much I like it. It's become my top 3 fav. The name is befitting. It's really special. In Singapore hot humid weather, it projects well and last a long time on me. I'm looking to also buy all the flankers.

dumaybee

The patchouli in this has been well blended and doesn’t disturb me. I’ve gotten rid of all my patchouli fragrances apart from La vie belle. Waiting for the perfect to combine and empty the bottle. But this is perfection in a bottle. It has been become an absolute love. Perfect for everyday use

ehall

Nice scent. A more earthy version of Chloe. But like all Chloe perfumes it lacks longevity and silage.

Jade-Ange D

The whole Nomade range is so goooood.
But the OG has my heart forever. It was my signature scent back in 2020, I used to wear it all weeks of winter and I was still working in Paris at the National Assembly as an assistant. Good times, good memories and excellent perfume.
It smells so elegant, if you wear this, you’re a femme fatale. So effortlessly sexy and beautiful.
It lasted forever on me and got me few compliments.
Dominant notes for me are :
Peach - Jasmine - Orange - Oakmoss - Sandalwood - Patchouli
It is a 8,5/10
I f***ing need another bottle <333

KumaraScents

I really want to love this perfume, and adore all the notes in its pyramid, but there is something in it reminiscent of bug spray that I just can't get past. Great sillage and longevity. Definitely a unique scent profile. Today I layered Burberry Women over the top and find it much more palatable with the softer fruity notes on top. I don't see myself ever wearing this by itself.

qai

When I smelt it the first time, perusing isles of designer fragrance, its uniqueness amongst them blew me away. Its light and airy, but at the same time earthy and grounded. I find it beautifully blended, as this dance of flowers and citruses happens on the earthen floor. I think its name is really fitting with the images it evokes. Completely in love with this one.

Luthien999

This perfume is...Unique and original! I disagree with opinions that It is quite generic. Modern and Elegant scent for women with style. Amazing longevity and projection.

Chinello23

This is a beautiful, crowd pleasing, tomboyish musky citrus with fruits and woodiness to tone it down. It is SO chic.

Chimyens

This is my choice of any day that needed some confident feelings, I already put it on my signature scent shelf. Best for spring and autumn but I can even spray it on winter. I love both original and absolu version of Chloe Nomade. The difference is, original version is the perfume I put on to show up with people, the absolu version is the one I put on for myself. The part I love most of this perfume is the top note with youthful citrusy and fruity scents, like a lively garden and it will slowly lead you to a forest in middle and base notes: powdery, mossy, woody and earthy. I realized I love patchouli and chypre perfumes after use this.
I had Nomade absolu first and totally in love with it, that was the reason I want to try the original Nomade. I quite supprised they were more different than my thinking. At first I didn’t like this perfume when it change to middle note, because the top and the middle note were not very relative in my nose. But then now I enjoy the whole changing process of it. Sillage is moderate ( it’s enough for me), and longevity is good - about 6 to 7 hours.

PeacefulSunshine

The opening is very (too) fruity for my taste. But then the dry down is awesome. It does have a very mossy, natural scent to it with a little smokiness and the lingering fruit smells actually round this one out very well. I completely see why they named this perfume "Nomade."

The scent is also very unique! This is for a girl who isn't too girly or saccharine but has her own interests that she self-assuredly follows. Dope.

stephanienwc

I really like how this perfume manages to be feminine and yet woody and earthy. It's different than most of the designer scents out there these days because it departs from the typical floral fruity sweet concept.

TheFancyNancy

This has very quickly become my signature scent for spring and summer. I don't agree with the reviewers saying that this is generic. To me it is very unique- like a tomboy version of Mon Paris. Not a safe blind buy.

LadyMuck

Beautiful soft fragrance on me. I do smell the floral and fruit initially but then the oakmoss hits in the dry down.
I agree it can also be classified as uni-sex. It's wonderful and earthy but I feel it doesn't pack a pow for night wear so mostly day and office in my point of view. Easy to wear and lovely if you like the oakmoss and earthiness. My favorite though in the new Nomade Naturelle which has a completely different DNA and should not have been a flanker.

Single rose in the forest

When I first smelled it it gave me headache and old perfume vibes...But it works great on my skin!and it also lasts long (7 hours until skinscent)I bought the big bottle and I never buy full bottle. It smells like flowers at dusk with moss and woods...not very sweet but not too cold either. it smells like class and freedom. Not a blind but it deserves a place in your perfume drawer. And please DONT JUDGE IT FROM THE BLOTTER PAPER.

Sniffathon

Delicious mouth-watering fruits with cutesy florals. An absolute easy to wear crowd pleaser. I bought this on a whim and although I love the fragrance, it is a bit basic white girl for me. I agree with the “kitchen sink” comment below. I also much preferred the flankers Nomade Absolu and also Nomade Naturelle.

Mystères du Château de Dé

Is this the thread for Nomade labelled simply "EAU DE PARFUM"? If so, this EDP fragrance is a fantastic powerhouse on me. Even though it smells contemporary, the blending is old-fashioned "kitchen sink" perfumery. Nomade includes a lot of notes and impacts. There is variety in the Nomade line and I'm a fanboy of all of them. I appreciate how unisex this EDP is with the juicy luscious top (nectary but not sweet) and the classic strong base. Try before you buy, as this isn't for shrinking violets.

MomBomb

Falling for this fragrance quick.

LeeloSteelo

If anyone has a 1:1 dupe of this that is niche or a designer that doesn’t test on animals. Please message me. I adore this but they are not a CF company. Thanks!

Soledad89

One of those feminine scents that make one feel so grown up and sophisticated but in a laid-back way. The patchouli and musk here I couldn't smell at all so it's a good thing for me. The citrus fruits being the top notes are not obvious as well, but the florals are blended well. I found the scent leaves a wonderful trail, and it lasted on my skin for a good four hours. I still prefer the original Chloe eau de parfum to this, though.

Denu

I’m wearing this one on a warm summer day and it’s beautiful. The mirabelle plum note is tart and combined with the other citrus notes it gives me a green, refreshing scent.

The floral, oak moss and woody notes are well balanced. I agree they make this a unisex fragrance. Or just a great option to try if you don’t want anything overly floral or sweet.

I had a peach-jasmine-vanilla fragrance (I Want Choo) on much earlier in the day. That’s now faded but on the skin it’s made quite a nice pairing with Nomade!

YuXinSun

It's a nice fragrance, very safe. I can see people in the office wearing it, it's not offensive, not provoking, not...interesting. For me it's just a little bit bland but I like it on other people.

Veronika95

Woody and citrusy indeed. I used to have Balenciaga Florabotanica and there's some little hint of similarity in the first sniff. This is very pleasant and reminds me of nature. A little green, a little fresh, a little sweet ... a little bit of everything and together it makes a beautiful scent, great for every day. The name Nomade is very suitable, and the bottle design too. I wouldn't use it as a special fragrance for some evening events though... it's more office and business meeting friendly.
This could be a really nice "young mom" perfume.
the longevity and projection is absolutely amazing. Perfectly satisfying and way more than i expected from relatively fresh perfume that is not very expensive. I think 7 hours is guaranteed and then it's up to your skin and how it meshes with this scent.

tuberoses

The smell of this fragrance is all about the mirabelle plum. It's acidic, a little sweet, juicy and reminiscent of pulp. Like a nomadic adventure in the desert that leads to the fleshy core of a fruit.

venusbruises

@b.a.denney I'm very sensitive to patchouli and generally can't stand it in most perfumes but I can't really detect the patchouli in this at all. I usually steer clear from any scents with patchouli and so far this and Versace Eros Femme edt are the only ones I have been able to wear.

It is winter here and I think this fragrance will work better on my skin in the summer or early autumn. To my nose this smells rather masculine and I can't see myself wearing this a lot but I wanted a cyphre fragrance for occasions which call for something other than my usual roses and for that purpose this is a nice fragrance. Lasts for 8+ hours on my skin, too.

b.a.denney

How dominant or noticeable is the patchouli in this? So many people love this scent and I’d like to try it. There are only a couple perfumes I can tolerate that have patchouli in them. I’ve actually gotten rid of all my perfumes with patchouli with the exception of a couple……

juliacarolxo

this is one perfume I get complimented on EVERY time I wear it. recently got in to an uber and the driver asked what perfume I had on so he could get it for his wife. its definitely a great spring and summer going out at night vibe, its a crowd pleaser for sure

snopea

like eating a tart plum in the forest during late summer. the scent of pine straw in the sun, dry moss, wet flowers. this is what princess leigh-cheri from still life with woodpecker would wear.

stelladoro

I received a bottle as a gift and was not impressed. A safe everyday frag, but for me nothing memorable. Perhaps it will improve with the weather and my mood. If it does, I'll let you now.

Keiman2005

What makes this fragrance unique is the mirabelle note which unlike other sickly sweet artificial fruity notes in other perfume. I can see a cute boy wearing this too, its kind of unisex. I can definitely see a similar vibe with the Chloe EDP so I wont suggest to have both.

Red lippy Mel

Love this! Definitely unique, complex, not sweet but dry and rich. Love the fruity opening, in love with the gritty dry down. It’s a big scent, I definitely get the bergamot, freesia and jasmine straight up. You must wait for the oak moss and sandalwood, but it’s there the whole time! I do love the naturelle even more, but was gifted this and am so happy with it! I must stress how frustrating it is to still see so many reviewers that simply don’t understand how fragrances smell differently on everyone. Our body chemistry allows any scent to be unique to us, so ok you may not like how a perfume smells on you, but it doesn’t mean it’s a bad perfume! Just means it’s not for you. It will be incredible on someone else. For me, I’ll be aging this bottle for a while, as it’s complex nature will concentrate a little with time and I’ll enjoy it even more 🤩

Bright & memorable, warm but not demure — filled with contradiction, tension, suspension — a romance born in late summer, the sense of a season preparing to turn, the precipice of weather, of a fruit’s ripeness — golden colored, unencumbered, worn with certainty & bare feet — Laurel Canyon & an open window, waist-high grass & a peach in hand — leaving at daybreak with your scent’s warmth left on the pillow — plush & commanding, juicy & tart, sharp & cozy — loose hair lifting in the breeze on a hot day, a lifetime of yellow afternoon ahead of you

Thykes10

I should have known from the reviews that this wouldn't be for me. The reviews describing this as earthy with a boho vibe are spot on. I can appreciate the fragrance and find it interesting and intriguing, but it doesn't match my style.

At the top is a very green citrus but the spices and woods became more prominent on my skin. I get a hint of subtle peach on occasion, but it's a supporting player. The citrus does help combat the earthiness from the oakmoss. Overall to my nose, this has a very herbal and earthy quality to it. Definitely a unique fragrance compared to other designers I've tried but I can't see myself wearing it. I dislike it for me, but rating it "ok" as I can appreciate the fragrance blend at least.

LuckyMommy

Strong projection and longevity, you don't need much. Fruity, woody, floral, spicy, musky leaning a bit unisex. Love it!

Shui-Xian

The juiciness and soft chypre base are exclusive. I like very much the fresh, playfull and positive vibrations of this fragrance.

Nonetheless the earthy note is subtle and the wood is overcharged by flowers. It is elegant and feminine, however the potential of extraordinary is not used completly. In this case my impression is just a better than average. Comfortable, pleasant, timeless. It deserves another chance, maybe? I am ready to change my mind after next testing...

Sillage moderate, longevity 3-4 hours.

Darling of Disquiet

I found out the other day that my favorite way to wear this fragrance is with lavender oil and lotion. It made my life of this into a total love and I have worn it that way for the last 4 days. Absolute game changer with the lavender, I only have a decant but I might have to search for a nicely priced bottle because with the lavender it is such a comfy lovely scent. I'm really obsessed with the pairing.

LanaDelSlay

Clean but very subtle woody smokyness in this, with some warmth but in a woody, green way but not over the top, it's just a hint of it, which gives it almost a sweet vibe

BG92

This is my co-worker’s office scent - everytime she passes by I am breathing heavily and turning my neck as it smells beautifuly on her.

BUT if I put it on, I smell only citruses and florals (and not in a good way). Big no for me to use.

Owpillow

A bit too strong for my taste. Made the rookie mistake of buying a full bottle after only smelling it for 5 minutes. I really tried to like it since I love the original Chloe but thought I should get this one for nighttime. It really smells citrusy, not exactly my taste but I still would’ve tried to finish the bottle, IF ONLY the dry down doesn’t smell like BO ugh. That dry down alone put this perfume on my ‘steer clear’ list.

igalmusic

The most beautiful feminine scent! Very unique, this is not your typical designer fragrance. It's floral, earthy and woody, very versatile perfume. Perfect choice for your signature scent. My favourite from the Nomade range. In my opinion it suits more brunettes, every time I smell it I picture Pocahontas :)

Twentzel

Mossy citrus peachy. Moderate lasting and sillage tends to sit close to skin after a few hours. Elegant. I like it 🍑

Emera1d

I don't get much oakmoss sadly. To my nose Nomade is a clean, soapy and slightly fruity sweet scent. Pleasant but boring and I really wanted to like it!

Just_breathe

I felt comforted by this scent and could not figure out why it was so familiar to me. In the 80s my husband wore Halston z-14. Aha that is what it reminds me of. Must be the oakmoss note!

melusina1982

I love a good chypre, don't wear them much because they clash a little with the heat and humidity in my part of the globe, so I had discarded this one as I found it harsh, suffocating and without any nuance when it launched.
I have tried it many times since and, finally, some days ago everything clicked and smelled it properly from top to bottom.
The opening is bold, the drydown is where is at: Prominent natural lemon, soft but present oakmoss and the daintiest touch of stone fruit. Comfortable to wear, perfectly unisex if you care about that and a performance difficult to find nowadays.
If you have been meaning to foray in the chypre genre this could be a good gateway.

Katrin77

This is my "I’ve-got-my-shit-together"-perfume. Perfect for the start of the week, or busy days when you need to get stuff done. Cool, clean and crisp. Love it.

BougieGirlShops

This type of fragrance is right up my alley, a floral chypre with citrus notes, not sweet, and noticeable woody base. I love Nomade, and the first thought I had after the first spray was how apropos the name was. On top of the large mirabelle and orange blast, I caught a lot of spiciness. Once dried down the citrus notes smooth out and the sandalwood and oak moss develops to add warmth and depth. I can also pick up the patchouli, rose and freesia so that as you wear through the day it does land into the floral woody realm.

I find this scent very addictive. A fantastic modern chyrpe with a strong nod to the height of 80's chypres.

MrsMRe

When Nomade first came out, I sniffed the cap, found it way too strong, and moved on. After reading reviews here, I decided to give it another try and I appreciated it much more. I love a traditional chypre and Nomade reminded me of Chanel 19 and the original Halston woman. The oakmoss is gorgeous. The drydown on me smells like Cristalle. It's bone dry and unapologetically unsweetened. I want to try it again next summer.

katieyaryes

The mirabelle combined with the peach and citrus notes make the top have an almost gummy bear smell to it but the oakmoss adds a nice peppery earthiness that prevents it from becoming too cloying. I really love this fragrance, something about it just makes me feel cute without being immature

CherylTomaatje

I wanted to like this, but on my skin it absolutely does nothing but give generic citrus at first and almost no scent at dry-down. To be fair, Chloé's perfumes are not suited for my skin in general I have noticed. The original EdP gives nothing but roses on me despite all the positive reviews on others. Definitely get a tester first to see if it reacts well on you!

Heavenly Heather

This fragrance is bomb y’all! Such a beautiful feminine yet somewhat bold and sexy perfume. Bursting with citrus at the top and in the mid juicy peach and florals then comes the oakmoss, patchouli and musk notes which help make this full bodied and sophisticated. This is definitely a compliment getter!

Phantomias

Found a mini of this in my collection and I have no recollection how it got there. So at what point did I lose control? In any case, CN is an interesting frag and quite unlike the other Chloes I've tried. Woody and a little spicy, garnished with a sweet/sour mirabelle, CN is very wearable and quite unisex.
Chloe edp always struck me as brittle and cold, fortunately CN takes a different tack while retaining the Chloe DNA.
Good longevity, modest projection, interesting presentation. CN's a keeper.

mollykkeith

This might be one of the best things I've ever smelled.

I read reviews before I sampled and had high expectations. This perfume exceeded those expectations! Upon first spray, the sweet smell of plum is balanced with the glowing, warm, green smell of woods. After a few minutes, the comforting scent of amber and patchouli come out to play. I swear there's a slight hint of honey on my skin as well. All of these scents together are absolutely beautiful. I find myself constantly smelling my wrists with my eyes rolling back into my head from delight.

I'm unsure why some people think this is a masculine smell. In fact, there's a slight resemblance to Coco Mademoiselle. To me it's definitely feminine, but not overly so. It's a modern, interesting, and playful perfume that screams cool girl vibes. I imagine this being suitable for young professionals in their 20s while also complementing the persona of a laid back, casual older woman. It's a perfume for everyone, really. It's suited for the office and year-round, although I think it's more of an early autumn or late summer scent.

I'd say sillage is moderate. The only downside for me has actually been the longevity; I read that longevity is great for others, but I can't seem to smell it on me past a few hours. Perhaps I just become nose blind? If it weren't for the lack of longevity on me, I'd make this my signature scent in a heartbeat.

Vanillastorm40

I received a sample of this yesterday. I'm someone that ALWAYS seems to prefer an "absolu" or "intense" flanker of a perfume. Not this one though. I don't like the absolu version of this. It's too bitter from the extra oakmoss. This version is REALLY pretty and IMO really different from the absolu. I also smelled this BR540 thing everyone is talking about yesterday too and I think Chloe Nomad smells like it but better.

Scarlett610

I was in high school from 94-98 and this smells so much like one of those unisex scents that was so popular at the time, and I can't put my finger on it 😩

Sreza7

I love this! It smells just as good on me and my clothes as it does smelling the atomizer. It’s a fruity, citrusy floral with a little oakmoss. So fun to wear! Some days I smell more oakmoss then other days. I also get a honey note. Not sure if anyone else picks that up, but it’s only the slightest for me. I now want the absolu and the edt, they are also just as good as the original. Would be a perfect signature scent because it works all year round. I also love the bottle design, elegant and chic.

Gin Palace

I really like this. To me, it does start out a bit unisex/masculine. But if dries down and it’s more floral, slightly fruity and mossy/earthy. My daughter said she didn’t like it in the first spray and then a few days later asked what I was wearing because it was nice! Now she likes it. I ind it good for the school run in the autumn, when it’s still warm but getting a bit wet and slightly cold in the evenings. I don’t really have any other fragrances like this. Suitable for any age I would say

paranoka

Pleasant florals and slightly sweet from the plums. I really like this. Summer in a bottle

cats_eye

This smells so clean and cheerfully mellow. It has a very peaceful vibe. It starts out with a sparkling, effervescent plum/peach accord. The florals are abstract like a nice soap and the drydown is mossy and musky with sandalwood facets. It lasts a long long time and smells clean yet warm. I would consider this more of a unisex type scent. It just smells good.

strangelight

So surprised I like this! I'm not into modern designer releases, and feminines even less so, and I didn't get on with Nomade Absolu either (the opening was nice, but there was a certain annoying aromachemical that dominated too much over time) but this is lovely.
It's sweet without being sickly, nicely balanced, clean but not too synthetic - very pleasant overall. Probably a good "safe" office-type scent for me (as someone with more niche tastes). I'm not really getting any oakmoss though.
A feminine designer for those of us that dislike modern trends, or maybe a friendly gateway into other tastes for those that do but want to expand their tastes.

antoniov

This and Nomade absolute sit very nicely on my skin and it a very good office fragrance with some appealing undertones. Very good projection and sillage as well.e

x.rina.x

I'm very suprised but I love it soo much! This scent with the oakmoss is soo delicate tender & mellow, with soft florals and smooth musky woodiness. + the mirabile & the creamy peach hint it with some light sweetness. The whole composition is soo unique round and well blended. Natural and mellow ♡

Miss Kittens

Out of all my collectibles, this 1 by far is the 1 I reach for the most. It's a fresh zingy citrus patchouli bomb. A huge compliment getter. It's a zesty delight!

XOXO_marcel

This is pretty & feminine. I mostly pick up on the florals, with just a slight hint of something sour or spicy in the background that keeps it from being "basic". A bit of an ourdoors-y scent, as the name implies, but to me this leans more floral than woodsy. It's nice, and I could see it working for just about any personality, although I definitely pick up on a slight boho vibe. It smells expensive, and the bottle is lovely! This is a delicate yet noticeable scent.
This would be a good perfume for a free-spirited woman who wants something different, but not *weird*.

Star_Alien

Love this dried down, but i hate the opening note. For some reason it is very bitter and sour in the beginning.
