Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming by Dior is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is François Demachy. Top notes are Raspberry, Black Currant, Pomegranate and Pink Pepper; middle notes are May Rose and Peony; base note is White Musk.

Dior presents its new fragrance Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming from the famous Miss Dior collection in August 2016. The in-house perfumer Francois Demachy announced it as the edition that opens with bright fruity notes, intended for cheerful women who love life.

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is a new olfactory variation of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, designed as a sexier, more passionate and more modern scent. The hot pink color of the liquid matches the delicious floral character. The composition is comprised of three layers: red berries, Centifolia May rose from Grasse and peony, as well as white musk.

It is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml sizes.

This perfume caught me by surprise - the classy bottle gives the impression of a staid, maybe predictable perfume, but on initially spraying I was greeted by effervescent, sparking fruits - particularly the raspberry, tart but not too sharp. Easily transitioning into beautiful florals, with soft roses balanced by the peony and finally a soft musk which lasts eons. This is a perfume which any age could wear, and has fabulous lasting power and projection. I am glad that I bought this before it was discontinued, as it is a delight.

Sofiesmellslikeroses

While I appreciate this perfume, it leans a bit too heavily on the strong side for my taste. Considering that I'm in a small classroom all day, I prefer not to overwhelm anyone's senses with its potency. However, if you're seeking a fruity, floral fragrance with remarkable longevity, one that announces its presence from across the room, then this perfume is undoubtedly the one for you.

I take back my last review… kind of.

I was so disappointed with the newest formulation of this. The performance and longevity was very poor I could barely smell anything and it was very sour on me. I sent it back to Dior. I seeked out an older bottle from kijiji. This bottle dates to 2016 with the really deep, dark juice and I got it for a great price! I finally understand what all the other reviews were raving about!… And I am not normally one to favor finding “vintages” as sometimes they have turned bad or aren’t that different from newer versions. However I notice a huge difference with this one.

The older one is much deeper, full bodied and I don’t get quite as much tartness as I did with the newer one! It is quite potent no more than 2-3 sprays otherwise it becomes too much. I’ve had a few days with this and have already ordered a back up, sealed original 2016 formulation, this should last me a long time!

Fragrancewonder

This is the most perfect fruity floral without being juvenile. I find it appropriate for all occasions, moderate longevity on skin and all day on clothes. A fruity peony rose that just smells pretty.

radicaleah

This is what I'd wished the regular Miss Dior EDP smelled like. This is heaven in a bottle. Not really for summer weather. Depending on the weather, it can be a little cloying on my skin BUT I don't care - I spray it on clothes and it lasts DAYS. I prefer it in Spring, Fall, and Winter. I have 3 backup bottles as I heard it's being discontinued. Buy them while you can!

Yasmeena0

If you love this perfume check olympea “flora” by Paco Rabanne (not anything else) I don’t say it’s the same but it’s soooooo similar , and it lasts well 💜

tylerthecreator

the only dior fragrance i like... she is fruity, sweet, and a bit floral. if a girl i liked smelled like this i’d fold immediately and ask her to marry me

miss dior absolutely blooming is a girl laying down on her pink frilly bed with a lace canopy, in her bedroom with pink walls adorned with posters of hollywood teen heartthrobs when they were younger (dicaprio, hayden christensen, etc) and a vintage white vanity in the corner of her room, eating raspberries. when she's done eating, she reapplies her fruity chapstick and sprays on a floral body spray from the mall.

whoever decided to discontinue this will not see the pearly gates

NDL

FYI for Canadians. This is still available in Canada. Hudson’s bay carries it in store and online, and so does the Canadian Dior site!

I ended up ordering this from the Dior site because the notes looked promising plus all of the glowing reviews. Unfortunately it’s quite sour and screetchy on me, and the perfume lasts no longer than an hour on me.

The liquid is a light pink and batch code is 2023. So sad as I was hoping it was more of a beast and jammy/sweet as many people here stated. Maybe they have an older bottle, with the darker juice.

Anywho, I am sending this back to Dior.

rziotti

I can understand the hype about this fragrance.
Is expensive, boring, it doesn't last, and doesn't project.
What is the point?👀

Meredithe

Too bubblegummy although so many people are raving about it.

anggelloo

REMINDER FOR EVERYONE THIS PERFUME IS NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION !!! GET YOUR BOTTLES STOCKED UP ASAP BEFORE WE RUN OUT OF THIS BEAUTIFUL FRAGRANCE !! such a sad sad thing to say!

Lady_lv

This version reminds me of the original Cheri! It’s very close to it, which I cannot find anymore. Unless I want to pay $400-$500 on eBay maybe more! LoL .. It was my favourite perfume in the early 2000. For absolutely blooming, I still have an almost full 80 ML, bottle which I will start wearing in the spring! I wasn’t aware that it was discontinued as I was reading on the site! That’s too bad, what a beautiful perfume. It’s a LOVE for me, 10/10 Longevity is amazing also, 8 hrs on the skin, 12 hrs on clothes or more!

MomBomb

This is so good. Odd thinking choosing to discontinue. Late to the train and definitely wanting a few back ups!!

Edit: If you like this, Gucci Rush might be a winner for you too. I’d say the sweetness is matched, but Gucci Rush is a bit funner.
It too was discontinued a long time ago but still available at fragrance. Net last I checked.

Please feel free to add any other replacement ideas in your review!

Blizzie99

Smells like berry bubblegum

AnlisaC

I love this. So feminine and fruity but in a mature way. Way in the background the OG comes forward. this is just lovely and so floral fruity in my opinion! The raspberry and black currant are beautiful and not overly fruity! This is my favorite in the Miss Dior line (well, Dior Cherie was, but long since discontinued and a unicorn to find) Perfect for spring and perfect for warmer months but this can be worn in any season. Highly recommended 10/10
Please Dior don’t disco this!

Maya lilac

The OG pretty girl perfume for me. I remember how beautiful and special this fragrance made me feel when I first sprayed it on me. I still love it as much as that day!

It’s so sweet, fruity and heavy on the May rose and lasts forever. It doesn’t projects too much after the first 2-3 hours but it lasts on clothing until I wash it.

The May rose and peony combo smells so natural and beautiful and the mix of delicious raspberries, blackcurrants, pomegranates and pink pepper adds to the overall sweetness and appeal of this classic from Dior. It’s an excellent blend of sweet fruits and pink flowers with a very subtle peppery note and a subtle musk touch. An elevated sweet fruity rose scent.

Once I finish my bottle, I’ll be very sad to lose such a unique smelling perfume, because I am hearing that it’s been discontinued. Shame on you, Dior! Ruining your own reputation with such poor thought decisions to constantly reformulate your classics and discontinuing one of your best creations!

Guiabananaa

Smells like soda or something fizzy.

katiesimpsonhair

This is the best out of the bunch. Sweet, strong, and long lasting. All the others are too weak and vague but this one is the winner.

Ethereal Love

This one was a pleasant surprise. I absolutely love rose and this perfume is gorgeous but this was not the type of rose fragrance that I was expecting. This smells more like powdery roses and brown sugar to me. The perfume doesn't smell edible, but to my nose, there is a sweet caramelized undertone that appears in the dry down.

This was blended really well and I honestly cannot pick out any standalone fruit notes nor can I pick up on much fruitiness. I was expecting a juicy floral fruity fragrance with a hint of candy-like tartness but this is actually very soft and gourmand. This is much warmer than I expected, but it's beautiful.

MomBomb

If anyone has a bottle they don’t want, I have a few different options for trading!! Please message me.

Rating: 🤭🤗
Do I like it: Yep
Who it is: a very caring and assertive boss lady that unashamedly likes pink
Smells I get: citrus, berries, peony, rose, musk
Meyer's Briggs type: ENFJ, ENTP

God, I love this - the opening is a strong candied rose, or a handful of acidic berries melting into rose and peony. It mostly depends on the temperature you're at, but it's quite intense. The drydown, however - God, imagine the cleanest, most comforting white musk in existence, mixed with a tad of sweetness from a ripe rose.
Simply marvellous.
Honestly, this juice is what got me into colour pink. It's basically grown-up coquette juice. My SO bought it for me a couple of years ago, and even though I was always taught that gifting random perfumes is a no-no, it worked for him.
If you love roses, this is a must try. Alluring. 🌹🤭🌹

Anarig97

I wanted to like this perfume so bad :( I remember spraying this one onto a tester strip at one of the beauty stores, and I swore I loved this scent so much. However, on my skin, it's a completely different story. This did not project as sweet or gourmand. This was pink pepper and white musk forward on my skin, that was all I picked up, even after dry down. It was far too strong and extremely overwhelming; every time my arm grazed past my face, I'd wince like I was in pain. I still wanna give this perfume another shot because I am intent on loving it since I adored it in the store but my hopes are pretty low with this one.

guroshit

Miss Dior absolutely blooming is by far my favorite fragrance in the world. I’ve worn it for almost 3 years now. I love it because it is the perfect mix of mature while still being a soft and pretty girl perfume. I sometimes mix it with the Burberry her elixir and it blends nicely but also stands out on its own. Its longevity and projection are very strong and I get compliments constantly and people asking me what I am wearing. The raspberry note really stands out in this and I feel as if this is a safe blind buy. My mom who only wears Prada amber and is very picky about perfume even compliments me on this scent and she dislikes most fragrances. I can fully say buy miss Dior absolutely blooming!

meemaws_cache

Way too much for me. Smells like the annoying girl in class who is always chewing gum but won't share any

Dollient

Odd, but this isn’t sweet on me! Usually gourmands don’t do well on my skin, so it doesn’t surprise me. Other than that, its a truly beautiful fresh floral scent. I love this after a bath, but probably doesnt project enough for me to wear it out anywhere.

mimiarie

Got this today for Christmas! My husband loves it on me and he isn’t the type to compliment my perfumes. I love the dry down, starts out softly fresh and spicy and dries down sweeter with pink rose. This is going to be my signature scent. It’s light and airy enough for everyday but unique enough to be memorable. Love 💗 As an aside, I usually do not like peony, and by not like, I mean DESPISE. In this, it adds some fresh flowers without leaning putrid as it sometimes can to my nose.

Leeenas

This fragrance is soooo good! It smells very sweet, sugary, floral to me, it’s light but at the same time very elegant and rich. It also lasts really long

perfumequeen234668

Would anyone like to swap this for Miss Dior (2017)

CleoCleopatrat

Soft, delicate and feminine scent. Definitely the best one from the Miss Dior collection. After about 30 minutes to an hour the rose note takes over and it kinda morphs into the Rose N'Roses one.

Leesh

This has a similar DNA to Armani Si and Pivoine Suzhou. They all have something about them that smells boozy, wine-like, which is very prominent in the opening. Maybe it's from the raspberry/black currant, and the may rose they all share. But, I find, this booziness tends to turn sour on my skin. I do love the dry down of this, though, and how it lingers on my sweaters.

Texasperumefan

Sweet, smells like caramel, and sugar with a hint of something like raspberry. Base is creamy and sweet, and airy/soft. Kind of like cloud's base, but better, and nicer. Have a backup of this. Lasts absolutely forever. Dries down nicely. Favorite perfume, lasts forever on clothes, on the skin, and projects well.

Hellokt

Way too sickly sweet on me...cherry cough syrup sweet. Will trade.

Ghungroo

Deliciously sweet fragrance that has become my signature fragrance too. Really disappointed about the discontinuation!

AinoKaroliina

In the opening this smells sweet and fruity, exactly like tutti frutti flavored candy. Once the top notes fade away the scent is similar to other Miss Dior fragrances: a sophisticated floral scent.

I'm personally not a huge fan of tutti frutti so I think I will pass on this although I enjoyed the middle and basenotes.

they just recently discontinued this, so give it a try if you are at all interested in this right now. It might be lovely to you if you like candy-like fruity scents that are done in a classier way.

Jujas

Ok.. just remember we all perceive fragrance differently.
AKA “I’m about to say something rather unpopular” so please don’t rage vote me down.. just hear me out.

First, the pleasant aspects: very strong sillage, moderate / above average longevity, not linear with a nice development; peppery rose being very prominent throughout.. and I didn’t vomit. See, I said nice things…

Ok, the not so pleasant and VERY SUBJECTIVE aspects: initial blast of peppery rose gives a very particular vibe similar to that of Delina and Infini Rose; a sort of buzzy heaviness with the slightly sour thickness of rose and musk followed by a very buttery dry down. Enough to actually make my stomach turn. Which is a shame because the end result is actually quite nice..unfortunately for me it’s a hard pass..straight to my daughter who absolutely LOVES this and much to my surprise (and slight jealousy) it smells AMAZING on her!

laila26

The rose is prominent in this one, to me. It was quite strong on me, so I am a little more conservative with the amount I spray than other perfumes. I would say this, along with the regular Miss Dior, are more mature fragrances than I expected. Not in a bad way but I can see a range of ages wearing this.

TheFl0rist

Omg I just ordered a backup for this! This soooo me in a bottle!

Why Dior had to make it disappear! This is my most loved thing on the earth!

stillalive

This is really lovely, although I don't think it's for everyone. It feels like it could be very versatile, even though it's anything but neutral. It's a little less juicy than I expected given the notes, especially in the dry-down, but I could still see myself getting a big bottle of this. I didn't get any pink pepper at all until the dry-down, and then it became a total pepper bomb! Thankfully I love pepper, but I could see how it might not work on other people. I don't get much of the rose at all. It's a very soft (but not powdery) pepper-spicy floral I would put in the "pretty girl perfume" family, a la Delina, La Vie Est Belle, etc.—but I'd say this one is the quiet girl you have to watch out for!

perfumepearl

This smells like sugared roses and it is totally signature scent worthy. The sillage is extremely strong and the lasting power is insane. It smells kind of unique so I rate this 9/10.

RaggedyAnn

I would steal this from my grand but she stole it first. It's a really pretty scent. I get more peony than rose at first and the fruit salad is light and delicous. Appropriate everywhere and it's a thumbs up from both of us young and old.

phoebe25

I looooove this perfume.

I bought it yesterday, and I can´t stop smelling my wrist. My mom and I went on a mother-daugther one day trip, and when I smelled this perfume, it was love at first snif. But it´s kinda expensive so I didn´t know if I should buy it or not. My mom said she thought I should buy it, or I would regret it, when I come home, and, you know, mama knows best. So I went back and bought it, and I´m glad I did.

The sweet rosy scent, with just the right amount of rasberry and a tad of white musk, is just perfect. I really glad I bought it, and it´s gonna be my, "mom and me-" perfume, because I love mom and this perfume is gonna remind me of her.

sakuragingham

This is a beautiful and highly feminine scent for autumn or spring. It is sweet, warm and smells expensive and classy.
On the initial spray I get juicy floral raspberry. The dry down settles into a smooth edible smelling fragrance with a subtle rose overtone. To me it smells a bit like spiced candied peaches but with a sweetness that is not cloying. There is a distinctive warmness to this fragrance and no synthetic smell at any point. I could see this being worn day or night but personally I think it's a tad too strong for the office. I wouldn't say Absolutely Blooming reads as a young or mature scent, I think any age could wear this. Overall it is a gorgeous and unique sweet spicy fragrance.

aloegarten

Just bought this today, my first real perfume (I've worn body mists my whole life) and i love it! When I first put it on I was hit with the fresh pink pepper which instantly went away and turned into a beautiful floral-fruity concoction of rose, pomegranate, and raspberry. Wearing it boosts my confidence and makes me feel very classy. Out of all the Miss Dior perfumes I smelled at Sephora today this one was 100% the best and if you're a rose or raspberry lover you need this perfume in your life. It also goes perfectly with the EOS pomegranate raspberry lotion.

One thing I must add though is that this is not a safe blind buy, it reacts very differently depending on your skin chemistry. It smelled delicious on my skin but when my friend tried it on hers she hated it, so make sure you try it on at the store before you buy.

Florabeth

With autumn round the corner it will finally be time for me to bring this beauty out of storage again. I am not really a huge fan of some of the overly gourmet sweet fragrances around (yes you flowerbomb), but this as a sweeter, cosy scent for colder weather I really love 💕

Edit November 2023: I've purchased a back up bottle of this one seeing as it's being discontinued. This is my favourite autumn/ winter comfort perfume and I think it will be a while til I find something to take its place.

rouxpanda

For me this smells too sweet and common. I'd thinkg someone 40+ should use this in an everyday basis and someone young (24+) should use it at night at some event.

fluffypuffy_03

I haven’t bought it but I just tried it in store, it smells very sweet, in my opinion it’s a bit too much for my age maybe (I’m 16) but it’s a very nice and sweet scent regardless.

I’d say the age range is more of a 20’s or later but that’s just my opinion!

pilardavg

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is a beautiful flanker. It pictures a classy and femenine image, truly gorgeous.

The wild fruits as top notes blend perfectly, then it opens to the rose and peony that probably give this fragrance its characteristic smell. At the end, the musk is not too predominant but it softens and rounds the whole scent.

I have to say the performance is pretty impressive. While it may not be everyone's taste, you will probably get complimented since it's overall soft and beautiful. Femenine but grounded.

Lotte_Liese

Oh my, this shares the same DNA with the discontinued Elizabeth Arden Always Red, and Armani Si, absolutely. I have loved both fragrances and was shocked to smell the same DNA, not a dupe.
Darling juicy raspberry and blackcurrant, sweet pink roses, and vanilla. It is odd that it's not a listed note. Of all the many Miss Dior flankers, this is one of my favourites, if not.

TheCandyperfumegirl

Finally, I’ve purchased 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝐷𝑖𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 . This was on my wishlist for a really long time but for some unknown reason it took me this long to finally add this to my collection. I’ve tried 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝐷𝑖𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 for the first time back in 2018/2019 and it was a love at first sniff. Finally it’s mine! Better late than never I guess!

𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝑫𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝑰𝒕 𝑺𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒍...?
𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝐷𝑖𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 has a beautiful sweet rose-berry smell with a musky dry down. I get a fresh pink peppery vibe which almost instantly fades away and then I get a beautiful sweet jammy-fruity concoction of Raspberry, Blackcurrant and Pomegranate. Gradually it turns into a beautiful and youthful Sweet Jammy-Berry Rose fragrance with some freshness of Peonies. The drydown smells heavenly with the combination of soft white musk and the jammy rose. And this stays linear till the fragrance completely fades away.

𝑰𝒔 𝑰𝒕 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝑻𝒐 𝑨𝒏𝒚 𝑶𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒐𝒑𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆…?
The opening of 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝐷𝑖𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 kind of reminds me of my favourite Christian Dior Rouge Trafalgar. The drydown is similar to Miss Dior EDP. Also, the rose here has some similarities with the berry rose of Lancôme La nuit tresor. But I won’t call it a dupe of any of these perfumes. It’s unique in its own way because it took all the good things from the mentioned Fragrances and evolved into a Bright, Young and Elegant fragrance. It will cheer your mood instantly and make you enjoy the little things in life.

𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝑰𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑶𝒇 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆…?
I get around 7 hours of longevity on my skin but on clothes it stays overnight. 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝐷𝑖𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 creates a beautiful Scent bubble and radiates within a hands distance of the wearer. It leaves a beautiful Scent trail as well.
I usually prefer to use 4-6 sprays of this fragrance during daytime and warm weather. As it’s a sweet jammy rose fragrance hence, over-spraying it might feel a little suffocating. But during cold weather or rainy days you can over-spray without hesitation and as it’s an inoffensive fragrance you don’t have to worry about bothering the people around you.

𝑰𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝑨 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑮𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓…?
Yes, it is. In fact I find the whole Miss Dior line as complement grabbers. They smell beautiful, youthful and elegant so people around you will appreciate your choice of Fragrances.

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑪𝒂𝒏 𝑺𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆..?
𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝐷𝑖𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 is perfect for all year round use. I personally feel it’s more suitable for Dates, Parties, Hangouts or other informal occasions. I won’t recommend it for meeting or interviews or any other formal/serious occasions. It’s a happy fragrance and goes perfectly with casual events.

I just adore 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝐷𝑖𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔. I’m glad that I finally added this discontinued gem to my collection. Personally I always prefer Dior as they make mass appealing Fragrances. It is sad that they discontinued most of our favorite perfumes. I just wish they decide to bring the same 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝐷𝑖𝑜𝑟 𝐴𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 back again without any changes or reformulations.

💕 Please Note we all have different olfactory system so what is pleasing to my nose may not be pleasing to yours. It's always better to try a fragrance before buying a full bottle.

Darkrain91

I am now at the point to stop buying dior perfumes. I'm tired of the reformat and discontinue stuff. Huge disappointment.

kisamisa

i swore off the entire miss dior line prior to trying this. AB is what i expected miss dior to smell like. this is the best of the miss dior line in my opinion, and i got very excited after trying it, thinking that i finally found a dior scent other than poison girl that i liked. after wearing it for a bit, however, the scent seems to be less complex than i had originally thought, and just a sugary raspberry. pretty, but not revolutionary. shame it's being discontinued, dior always makes the strangest decisions when it comes to reformulating or discontinuing stuff.

Eriksen

Smells sooo good 🥰 On its way to be discontinued. A good hint, when scents is on the way to pasture, is when it at Christmas is not available as a gift set, with lotion and so on Then it will probably be discontinued some time the following year. I for one will stuck up 🤗

wEnxi

Bought a 100ml bottle 2 days ago, loved it. It has a nice floral and sweet scent but the sweetness is greatly emphasised when sprayed on the body. Also, I had emailed Dior on whether this perfume (absolutely blooming) was being discontinued, and this is what they got back to me with:

"Thank you for contacting Parfums Christian Dior.

Yes, the item will not be available from September 2023 onwards. Nevertheless, we have new releases that may be a suitable replacement."

So unfortunately, this perfume might really might be discontinued

Thranduil

Elegant. Classy. Polished.

The perfume that allows the wearer to live out their princess fantasy.

It was love at first sniff due to its initial blast of yummy raspberries, and I stayed for the jammy rose it turns into when it dries down.

A must-have in any raspberry lover's perfume collection.

beatrix75

This fragrance and Joy intens are my absolute 💯 favorit but directly after its jadore and the original miss dior .This variation its the most sweet and powdery musky aw all dior and the longevity its perfection. I get the strawberry 🍓 and cotton candy a lot then the musk and rose 🌹 loooveeee

PuppyFever

At first spray, you get the unmistakable Miss Dior DNA with the sparkling, feminine, elegant rose. After it dries down, the florals settle into syrupy, airy berries that keep getting sweeter. Think caramelised strawberries and petals. The jammy effect results in a scent that is very reminiscent of a rosey LVEB Intensément. It's beautiful!

Liisa7

At first I wasn’t sure about this fragrance. The opening was a bit screechy for my taste. But the drydown…delicious! It’s the perfect vanilla and berry combination. Absoulutely love it. And for my suprise, the more I wear it, the more I am not bothered my the beginning of this fragrance. It has become somehow tamer and fresher.
This might be the kind of perfume that might bother some people and might be too intense for some. Definitely not a safe blind buy. But my family members really like it. Although they say as well that the beginning is quite intense.
I’d recommend to wear this in springtime when the sun is out, but it isn’t hot yet.
I personally will not buy the full size as I don’t see myself reaching for it often. But I still think it’s a lovely scent suitable for a young, but classy, but also a fun woman.

Filolek3037

At the beginning a sweet, fruity sparkling, playdoh-ey smell which I love! After couple of minutes this fizzy playdoh smell disappears and it’s just fruity sweet. The dry down is sweet and sometimes, at least for me it turns to dirty sweet, which happens with lots of sweet perfumes in my opinion. I think it performes better on warmer days as it doesn‘t tend to turn into this dirty sweet smell. Still not sure if I truly love it or just the idea of being a „miss dior Girl“ but I find myself craving it from time to time.

felised

Sweet berries and musk, with the teeniest tiniest bit of rose. Not for me personally, but objectively not bad. Best longevity in the Miss Dior line-up as well. Good option for sweet and fruity fragrance lovers.

amanisimone

I have a bottle for sale. I forgot how many oz it is but there’s a bit more than half left. I’m decluttering some of my perfumes so I just want to get rid of it. Price can definitely be negotiated seeing as it’s not brand new

This is really good! I like it. It is really fruity and sweet, extremely similar to Si, which I also like. However I was expecting a scent a bit more unique and spicy.

RT4684

It's unacceptable when perfume reviewers and influencers (aka Soki London) spread false rumors about a discontinuation of a perfume. She's either knowingly spreading false information, while providing links (which she probably monetarily benefits from) to websites where you can 'still' purchase the fragrance, or just not doing proper research. Blooming Bouquet has been reformulated, so maybe the names were mixed up. Absolutely Blooming is not being discontinued - thank you to my prior commentators who've actually reached out to Dior to confirm. Lovely fragrance!

herheartflutters111

they are NOT discontinuing this perfume!!! i emailed dior and they informed me that the perfume is not leaving the miss dior franchise any time soon.

rose_nymph

I have mixed feelings about this one. It's mainly good. I went to the store today to test some perfumes, but I wanted to mainly expand my Dior collection. I really enjoyed the scent of this one.
One thing caught me off guard - after I purchased it, I went out with my friend and had her try it. She said, "oh it reminds me of being a kid again! Y'know, those Britney Spears girly perfumes?"
Now... I am not a fan of cheap Britney perfumes.
So, here's the TL;DR: Smells overwhelmingly sweet and harsh at first. Like.. those old Britney perfumes. However, when it dries down, there's that signature powdery and flowery dior scent, with musk aroma. I like it a lot, just not on the initial spray. When it's dried down, it's sexy and cute.

Darkrain91

I msg them last week and I got a msg back saying they can't tell me if it is being discontinued. So I don't know if it will be discontinued or not. But i bought myself an extra one.

karine.vanesse

Perfection in a bottle.

herheartflutters111

i don’t think its being discontinued

Icarel

Following the comments below, I emailed Dior ([email protected]) regarding the rumours of discontinuation. They confirmed that no official communication of the discontinuation of Miss Dior AB exists and that the perfume is still available /sold worldwide... I hope I have helped with the doubts and fears! I think it's a lovely scent; it smells like powdered berries :)

parfumlerhayatimolmus

Oh my god. THIS IS THE BEST MISS DIOR SCENT. The scent of it reminded me Modern Muse Le Rouge which i loved, so sad that it’s been discontinued. I guess it’s the fate of these scents

dreamypeony

im wearing the last drops of this beauty, sugared red berries. very girly, young and fun. smells great on me in warmer weather, it gets weird in cold days. lovely and great performance, its unacceptable to be discontinued

SarabeineHoney

I sprayed this in the shade, it did not smell fruity nor musky. Sprayed it in the sun and omg. An absolute transformation. Beautiful. Lovely. Stunning. A dream!!!!! A refreshing and comforting wave of femininity. A true vibe. A signature scent for sure!

ChrissieBrasileira

Absolutely Blooming is Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It is by far the BEST perfume from the Miss Dior range

I am praying that they dont discontinue this! I hope the rumours aren't true! It is still on their website and being offered with gift bags at Boots in the UK.....so maybe they have changed their minds and will no longer discontinue...fingers crossed!

Liz-frag

Very beautiful fragrance from Dior; a fruity explosion or berries, floating in pink lemonade. This one lasts for ages and projects SO MUCH. Compliments are flowing with Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming.
My husband came home Thursday night after a work event and told me that I was smelling “so F good”. I got compliments from a staff at the cinema too.
I would not say this is the most refined perfume, but it is a certain mood. It’s not something you wear when you want to be elegant but more of a scent for a fun moment.
It does remind me of Sí for sure, but I would say that Georgio Armani is fruitier while AB would dry-down on vanilla mainly. Maybe it’s just my skin though.
Overall would recommend for nights outs or carefree days.

chrrrly

whoever decided to discontinue this can rot in hell

svucii

literally heaven in a bottle, something about it just wears so well on me. i got it for my 19th, and ever since the first time i've worn it i've been complimented. it is sexy, warm, fresh and classy at the same time. it's sweet, but not sickening or overpowering at all, and i can see it being worn all year round. literally the perfect perfume imo. the lasting power is pretty good as well. the bottle is also stunning which is a plus. i'm so sad they're discontinuing it, this is my new signature scent

Gosh

Opening is gorgeous. I don't know why, but I smell chalky iris first couple of minutes with fruits and I love it! Unfortunately that chalkiness disappears. AB turns more flowery, rose and peony, and eventually to a sweet, fluffy blanket, but somehow still elegant. I didn't care for the blooming bouquet, but this is very nice, versatile, classy yet fun and sexy. Only complaint is that it falls a little flat in the drydown. I'll have to give it a few proper wearings and consider buying a backup bottle as I have only 30ml. All year round, in hot summer probably only nights other than that I feel like you can't go wrong for any occasion with this one.

Jenbug23

There’s just something about this perfume that makes me feel so sexy! It’s a gorgeous fruity rose. The musk amplifies the notes but does not overpower it. The lasting power is pretty great as well. I usually save it for date nights because it makes me feel like a vixen. I recently bought a back up bottle and then I find out it’s being discontinued. Thank goodness I bought another one!

bxthanyrxse

My favourite Miss Dior, so sad its been discontinued, last all day on me and projects so well, much better than any of the others, such a shame to lose it :(

Scentflower

I purchased this perfume and a backup bottle once I found out it was being discontinued. I had never smelled it before. I have been on a massive quest to find a 2017 Miss Dior, unfortunately, I think I just recently purchased a fake with that perfume.

Back to Absolutely Blooming though... upon first spray I get a plastic lipstick note. As I keep smelling I think it maybe the raspberry I'm picking up on. As it continues to dry down a tiny bit of sweetness pops through. A very small amount of sweetness. In this stage of the dry down I do like it. However; it grows to be musky on me in the end. It's a very strong perfume. Two sprays and I was good until I showered that night.

For me I think I'd enjoy this perfume more in the spring and summer though. It's a like/ok for me.

marietangerine

Solid designer. Syrupy blackcurrant and dark pink rose with a fresh pink pepper opening and warm musky base. Sweet and warm. Reminds me quite a bit of Replica’s On A Date (except I prefer Replica with its chypre style). It smells like the Swedish red berries candies. Pretty, a bit sexy, easy crowd pleaser. Big Like.

Longevity B (6+ hrs)
Projection A (6+ ft)
Scent DNA B-

Ruba99

I love it you can smell the musk after it dries down also get me compliments

beatrix75

Beautiful long-lasting feminine sweet/musky perfection

herheartflutters111

dior seems to be digging their own grave tbh

typeonegative333

How they could discontinue absolutely blooming is beyond me. Is it my holy grail? No. Do I reach for it often - or at all? Again, no, but this is a crowd pleaser. Very sophisticated, classy and has excellent performance. What a shame.,

Misuzu🌸💫

I’m pretty upset that this got discontinued because I love this perfume!A very fruity-sweet scent with a little hint of floral. It sounds generic, but this perfume smells very unique! It’s the type of scent that you’d see a very successful business woman wearing. It’s the perfect balance of fruity and sweet.Dior seems to be discontinuing a lot of the perfumes that people really like, and I hope they stop doing that and keep more of their beloved fragrances in stock…

bananapancake

Very lovely scent. Perfect combination or rose+fruity+musk+amber. It smells heavy enough to feel very cozy and warm, but without the smoky or spicy notes. Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming almost reminds me of Delina by Parfums de Marly, although Delina has more prominent peony and rose notes. The dry down is also divine. Overall a very well-executed, well-balanced, gorgeous perfume with monster longevity. Decent sillage and projection. This to me is absolutely one of the classic.

Gellert77

How sad that this has been discontinued.

For me, it was the preferred option to Miss Dior 2012/2017, because I'm not a patchouli fan.

I never believed in the scent pyramid presented here at fragrantica, there's definately some patchouli in AB as well, just not as much and overrun by musk.

This is a wonderfully strong, sweet but fresh berry/rose/peony scent that doesn't go all shampooey, but stays a perfume all through the end.

Obviously Dior is getting rid of even the lightest fruitchoulis and replacing them with very light scents.

I'm becoming seriously afraid for Pure Poison and Dolce Vita...

scent.2go

I think AB its been discontinued all around the world guys...and blooming bouquet was replaced and now have a fabric bow so probably its now week poor same sh** like new miss dior

Pat_Chouli

Update: I've grown to really enjoy the drydown of this perfume. Once you get there, it's beautiful and smells like sugared florals and soft musk with a hint of jam. Kind of reminds me of Flowerbomb but more refined and powdery.

-------------

I love rose and musk and own three other Miss Dior perfumes (2012 Miss Dior, Blooming Bouquet, Rose n Roses) in my small collection, so I had to sample this one and I thought for sure I would love it too.

But I hate it? Something about it is so masculine and screechy like floor cleaner to my nose. I think it is is the top notes of pink pepper, which in large quantities usually smells like steak seasoning to me, and berries, which are often too syrupy, jammy, medicinal, sour (on my skin at least).

But I'm still glad I tried this and I'll definitely give it another try in the future to see if my perception will change.

lordbig

Musky Hawaiian punch. I like it

RosePetalRouge

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming smells like a dialled-back, softer version of Armani Si and an expensive lipstick. The first thing that hit me was that lipstick, waxy, smell. I just received it so still deciding on it but those are my first thoughts.

LanaDelSlay

Tried this, the opening is icing berry fruity and I love it, kind of like a jam/syrup, but then on me it smells "sour", sour and fruity berries, it's really cute, i wish the projection was better though, also lasts a few hours only like 3 hours

Dana79

I blind bought this a while ago because I thought it's a stronger version of Blooming Bouquet, which I really liked. However, they are totally different. For me this one is too heavy, too sweet, trying too hard to get attention. I though it was sexy, but even for me (in my 40s), this is somehow too mature and somehow too stiff. It is a pleasant smell, very feminine, but just not relaxed enough, not bubbly enough for me to wear it.

joshua_123

This perfume is *chef's kiss*

I'm a guy and I love wearing this perfume. It is the most complimented perfume I own. Other people can still smell it on me even hours after applying it. I was in the shop today and the girl at the till remarked that I smelled amazing.

It is very sweet but in a fruity and floral kind of way. The pink pepper and red berries are what immediately hit you after the first spray. The silage is nuclear and it's incredibly addictive.

As the perfume settles on the skin, the floral notes begin to appear before settling down to a sweet musk. All of the notes in this perfume have been sprinkled with an extra helping of sugar. But with the floral and musk notes, there is a fresh element to it, which doesn't make it a juvenile scent.

It's long lasting as well and quite distinctive. I'm now onto my second bottle of it. It's a great pick me up. I could see people finding this too cloying if over sprayed - but I don't care.

If you like sweet florals, and need a compliment getter that will get you noticed as soon as you walk into a room - then this perfume is for you!

Pia20

Great job on the longevity with this one, Dior. This sweet feminine perfume actually smells more floral than fruity to me. If you like a musky dry down, this is a good perfume for you.

tanny_ups

This is not my type of fragrance, as I was expecting something with more roses and musk. However this is a compliment getter and everybody gets crazy around this perfume. I went to a club with my friends and there were people asking me what I was wearing. It’s a compliment getter for sure!

Pyxis_Nautica

I love this, it's playful, floral, and sweet but not cloying or too heavy to wear anytime you feel like. The dry down is very nice too, sensual and delicious. I find this quite enchanting :)

tartflower

this was gifted to me by surprise and I didn't at all expect to love this as much as I do, but it is so so so lovely. on clothes it's much more powdery (not my favorite) but on my skin it smells very syrupy and indulgent: 'candied bouquet' is a very accurate description aside from the peppery notes. it's definetly very youthful, but it smells like a more refined + much more expensive version of Lolitaland by Lolita Lempicka. very princess-y. I've received so many compliments on the silage and longevity as well ♥

lowkey chaotic

Did they change it ?? Because i tried it in two different stores and they smell different one was juicy and the other smelled like old people perfume lol

lxxxs

I had smelled this in store years ago. I loved it so much but didn't want to spend the price of $150-$180 at the time. Fast forwards months to maybe a year later after the last time I smelled it I went and bought it where I found it on sale in person. Smelled too different to what I remembered smelling. The one I tested was sweet, juicy, airy. This one smelled very mature 50+ age sweet and powdery. I was so confused. I let it sit on my shelf as decor for about a year before I randomly decided to try it again. The scent has changed so much more for the better. I envision a sugared berry, a little on the thicker side maybe its powder but no where near how it smelled before. Definitely let this sit if you have doubts! I would still rate this just as okay. Still not what I initially loved and smelled in store years ago.

ellovesperfume

it’s so good OH MY GOD ITS SO GOOD

Gemsense

For those of you that are missing the strong version of this, do yourselves a favor a buy the perfume oil. Much cheaper, lasts and projects, and you will be satisfied ❤️🤗😍 just Google absolutely blooming perfume oil and you'll find many options to choose from.

wallywinthrop

This is a gorgeous compote of fruity rose jam and sugar-dusted berries. I have three bottles, one from when it came out and two now (was paranoid reading it was discontinued but not so far thankfully); they all have the same sillage and depth. You will smell like strawberry champagne candy wearing this. My absolute favorite Dior fragrance, and that says a lot.

snoopy2

I tested this (on skin) on two different days from testers at two different stores. What I could smell I liked, but the scent was so faint to me, it wasn't worth buying. It was one spray each time. Maybe this is one you have to spray 6-7 times? Don't know but for most perfumes, two sprays and I'm good.

hant_honey

I had the biggest expectations for this one as it had such beautiful notes and the main accords screamed pretty and pink. But no. It's overpowering and it smells like something a rich grandma would wear. Smelling rich is good, yes, but I don't know about this perfume at all. It's so overpoweringly strong and headache inducing.

candyxoxo589

I got this perfume not too long ago, and the rating I'd give it is nice! I mean, it lasts a while, maybe like 10+ hours. It's sweet, floral, and to me smells kinda woodsy. It's a good spring scent and is fitting for the fall season. Is it my favorite? No. But it's nice! I like the longevity, but a lot of people tell me that they don't like the scent. So, usually what I'll do is I'll layer it together with BonBon by Victor & Rolf, and I find that layering those two not only lasts longer, but smells really nice together!

scent.2go

Such a nice fragnance. Very fruity, sparkly, happy and girly, but with character. 12+ hours on me. Super cute bottle. Reminds me little bit of miss dior cherie

sweetlikecandie

This is sweet sweet sweet! If you’re looking for the ultimate sweet sugary fragrance this is it! My all time fav was sweet like candy by ariana grande but I wanted to next step up and this is it! This smells like a bowl of sparkling candy and sweet fruit with some soft florals. Definitely very beautiful, very girly and very young! If you’re a huge fan of sweet I’d highly recommend.

typeonegative333

This smelled completely different in the store, I'm almost certain they had an entirely different fragrance in the tester bottle it's that different. I'd describe this as.. "perfumey." Think of the most generic, strong perfume you've ever smelled.

Stoicchild

I like this better than The Blooming Bouquet. This one is more floral and long lasting. I personally wouldn't spend the price for a toilette. Blooming Bouquet is too fruity for a grown up lady! This one is more elegant 💕

brandybasisty

I'm not sure if my nose has changed in the past two years or if this fragrance has been reformulated- but it now smells like cranberry scented glade plug-in. 😒

Floriane M

Very enchanting!

herculano

The older bottles are stronger and much longer lasting, FYI.

I had a strong suspicion about this, because if you read the older reviews you will see this perfume was once commonly said to be powerful and long lasting.

The newer reviews more commonly say it’s fleeting.

My newer bottle is seriously like a body spray, and not a good one. It disappears so fast, it’s almost unreal.
A waste of money!! It smells fantastic, but nearly zero lasting power.

But I took a chance and bought an older tester bottle recently (I really love the scent, and as I said, I had my suspicions that the old bottles would be much stronger) … and to my great joy…it’s definitely far stronger than my small newer bottle. It’s totally solid!

Very long lasting!

Projects fantastically.

I love this perfume!!!

But I recommend seeking out the old testers, only.

I won’t go seeking more bottles ever again… simply because I won’t take the chance of getting another weak reformulated version. I will covet my big tester bottle and enjoy every spray to the fullest, to the end.

Sugared raspberries, rose petals, pomegranate, and expensive musk. Delicious and super high class. Distinctive.

GUADELUPA

It's very worthy fragrance for the glamorous and successful women. Very seductive. It's the scent for parties, dating, any important events to show yourself. This is the exact scent of the expensive powder, just like if you open and smell a very expensive cosmetic bag. Great! It really reminds me of Giorgio Armani Si, only Si is not about the powder, but about flowers and berries, and Absolutely Blooming, on the contrary, gives you such powdery imagination. Definitely a must have for me!

midnight dot

Sweet and citrusy. I tested it yesterday out of boredom, and I like it. However, I still need to test the rest of the collection to get a full critique. Might update later.

fantomette

Very very similar to la nuit trésor by Lancôme. Not that it’s a bad thing in itself, I love La nuit Trésor and was really disappointed that the two bottles I bought at different times of different years were so weak and muted…. (Yup, you heard me. Not quite a sillage beast on me, and it wasn’t me being anosmic to it !) This is a better, stronger and sexier version of it, and the bottle is far cuter and less tacky. It’s really feminine, sweet, glamorous even, and it smells like luxury. Like many people have said, this is a statement fragrance. It will dress you up even if you wear a white shirt and basic jeans.
I expected this to be way fresher and fruitier, but this is definitely more suitable for colder seasons ! The heat makes the scent flat and pretty boring, but I can totally see this bloom in winter. It has a unique facet to it that makes it stand out from other similar perfumes.
There is DEFINITELY a caramel popcorn-ish note (at least on my skin) so I can see why people would compare this to Miss Dior Chérie (I haven’t tried it, but based on the notes I do believe they could be similar.)
No rose, no musk, no peony on me so I will have to get the Rose’n’Roses flanker to satisfy my rose cravings, this is definitely more of a gourmand ! The raspberry is very strong in this and gives the whole scent a slightly sour edge, but it goes really well and balances the sweetness that would probably be very overwhelming otherwise.
The drydown is absolutely heavenly. It’s gorgeous !
I cannot really smell this on me but according to others, it’s really strong, so go easy on the trigger :) Longevity is decent leaning on eh, but we’re in summer….it’ll probably be much better this winter !
This is not a safe blind buy, and it surely isn’t similar to Blooming Bouquet at all.

Edit :
In colder weather, this is sugar sprinkled juicy raspberries with vanilla, praline / popcorn and a beautiful very slight musky rose…..It’s sweet and pretty and feminine.

violeteme

It's very sweet. I despise pomegranate note in it. It's not similar to any of the other Miss Dior compositions, so it should be tested as a separate perfume. Longevity and sillage are great, but my-oh-my... I don't like this.

Miss.Tara

This isn’t the first time my skin hasn’t gotten along with raspberry. It comes off as unpleasantly sour. Although, even on clothes it’s sour, so maybe that’s how it’s suppose to be? I sprayed 2 sprays and only got a light floral red berry smell. After an hour I sprayed two more sprays wondering if it was too light and nearly undetectable because I didn’t spray enough. This is pretty, but I feel I’ve smelled a red berry floral in many other forms that last longer and give pleasant wafts here and there. This is a very weak skin scent really quickly. I feel bad for those that are sad this is discontinued, but honestly I can see why it’s no longer being sold. Dior really neglected the quality control on the longevity and silliage on this one. Same with Blooming Bouquet.

miss_chris

I am typically a lover of rich edible gourmand scents but there is something about this perfume that has me reaching for it constantly. To me it smells like the red flesh of a pomegranate, pink rosebuds and juicy raspberries all covered in a fine dusting of crystallized sugar. It is so fresh and sweet —Sweet enough to quality as a floral gourmand. I do detect the pink pepper note in the dry down which breaks up all those floral juices to add some maturity to the scent.

SM_tropical

I have fallen in love with this beautiful perfume and think I have found a new signature scent! The red berries in the opening are delicious and fresh (not thick or syrupy to my nose ... ). The rose is fresh, but sweet and jammy at the same time (if that's possible? :)). The dry down is sweet and musky. Longevity on my skin was really good about 8 hours and the first time I tested it, I could smell it wafting from my wrists as I moved about during the day. I wouldn't say sillage is huge, but moderate enough because it's maybe a strong scent for some ... I don't think it's offensively strong, because it is strong and sweet (and obviously that's not everyone's cup of tea :) )

I never really considered myself a rose lover, but I'd recently been on the hunt for a fresh modern rose, and I think this is it for me. I used to have Parisienne, which had some of the same notes in the opening and heart, but was always too musky for me. I made a mistake when ordering and got the edp not the flanker parisienne extreme which I think was the sweeter one I had initially tested and liked (of course that was over a decade ago now ... ). At any rate, this is what I wanted Parisienne to be ... sweet, rosey, tart fresh berries. I think it could suit any age if berries and rose with a sweet musk is what you're after.

Update: I have never done this before, but I bought a backup bottle! I love this so much and I'm hearing rumblings that this may be discontinued??? It's still on the dior site and all the discounters, but I can't take any chances now that I've found this beauty!

Also- I’ve discovered less is more. The more sprays I use, the less I smell it. Probably becoming asnomic to it so 2 sprays is enough to smell it for a long time.

Xtina19

After what they did to Miss Dior (original) and mainly the fact that Cherie was gone forever, I sweared I wasn’t gonna touch another Miss Dior flanker…yet I couldn’t help but fell in love with this gem.
I’m aware isn’t everyone cup of tea but considering that Dior butchered most of their good fragrances, I was pleasantly surprised by this one and actually shocked is still on their website. Then I’ve noticed they haven’t launched a set box for this particular one and I knew is on the life support. No point shouting out loud “shame on you Dior”. We’re all aware that everything they do at the moment is boring rose on top of more rose that doesn’t make sense. I wonder what Addict or Hypnotic Poison would smell like when they add more hideous rose in it and butchered them, because I can sense this coming…and I’ve nightmares thinking of it!!! Side note: I do love rose (obviously) but not so much of it and in such a weird combination.

Anyway enough waffling…my point is I love AB because somehow reminds me a little bit of the beloved Miss Dior Cherie ( not a dupe but similarities) . Also all that jammy raspberry “yumminess” going on in the top notes really reminds me of Valentino Valentina Pink, which has been sadly discontinued (sigh of despair), also could smell some Tresor Midnight Rose and with peony in the mix it really gives me some La Colle Noire vibes, from Dior’s Maison collection.

Lucky enough still available here in UK at the moment but probably not for long.

floralgourmandlover

a very pretty feminine and fruity floral! great projection and moderate to long lasting longevity.

Caroline22

Arrrgh the only Miss Dior perfume that doesn't smell cloyingly soapy on me, and of course it's getting discontinued! I'm glad I stocked up on a large bottle but a shame that the roller pearl seems to be gone already. I love using the roller on the go whenever I'm in need of a discreet scent refreshment but don't want to spray a cloud of perfume in public. I'd love for more scents to have roller options.
I consider this my signature scent. This is what I wear on a regular day when I don't feel like wearing a specific scent, I basically want my skin to smell of this as default. It feels like I've been hanging out in a rose & red fruit garden all day. It smells natural and not fake perfumy, it's classy but approachable, sweet but fresh, not overbearing but it lasts long on skin, insanely long on clothes. I hope I can find a similar jammy fruit/rose replacement once I'm out of this.

Update:
It's been very warm where I live and I find this slightly too sweet-heavy so I decided to switch to Rose N Roses which has been fantastic so far (in return I imagine that Rose N Roses might be a bit too light for cold weather). No fruits in that one but it has the gorgeous classy Dior rose which I absolutely adore.❤️ No soapiness either which I really didn't like in Miss Dior and Blooming Bouquet. It's slowly winning me over more and more and becoming the new fav.

MissKittyki

At first there was a weird smell that almost smelled like pencil shavings. About ten minutes later it was the prettiest fruity rose smell. I layer this with B&BW You’re the one and it’s truly a beautiful combo! My man said I smell like a rose garden on a sunny day! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a sweet berry and rose perfume!

les_m

It’s a pretty floral, but it’s sweet enough to make it not so old lady like. I mostly smell the rose and berries in this. This is a perfume you go for when you want to feel classy, elegant, and feminine. I can honestly see it being worn in any weather. The sillage literally fills a room, this is one you cannot overspray or it will be heavy. One or 2 sprays literally lasts me forever. I will literally smell it on my clothes days later. I even smelled it on my seat belt after I wore it while in the car days later! Definitely one of Diors best perfumes .

stephm42120

I blind bought this on a whim for my birthday because I wanted to add a Miss Dior to my collection that wasn’t Blooming Bouquet. This was the only one that appealed to me the most because I had looked up the notes and it definitely looked like something I would enjoy. I highly regretted it at first. To an inexperienced nose, this can easily smell like strong and mature and put you off from it for a few days. But man. I sprayed it on one night before bed to test it out for the first time and I now understand. This smells like sweet flowers & berry rose jam. I decided to wear it to my birthday dinner & was complimented by everyone. Safe to say it’s my signature scent now.

edit: Can’t believe this has been discontinued but I am not surprised. This just isn’t the gourmand or soft skin scent everybody is looking for. This is regale and sophisticated and loud. Reminds me of the Bridgerton characters walking through the garden. It’s so romantic and elegant. A couple sprays would fragrant the whole household. Why would Dior do this to me.

AnlisaC

Ok, does anybody want to confirm that this is discontinued? I heard it on a YouTubers vlog one day and I see numerous reviews saying it will be. @gardeniapetunia is right it’s still on the CD website and still on Ulta’s website all sizes! Someone please clarify! Thank you

I do love this fragrance. I do recommend it also! Fruity version (but grownup) of Miss Dior!

gardeniapetunia

I bought a bottle after using up a travel spray and it took cool spring weather for me to love this. It's still on the CD website so most likely not discontinued. It's all musk for me in the drydown but the first couple hours are lovely.

Pmarie13

One of the only perfumes that I have ever finished a bottle and purchased another one of. Starts with a beautiful juicy berry scent, then dries down to a candy scent (that is not cloying or over powering). I like getting whiffs of it on myself throughout the day.
Good longevity as well.

la.femme.scent

berries and powder. a little heavier than I expected. dior quality, so it has a smell of opulence. pretty but not memorable. beautiful feminine bottle.

morji

Although this is a beautiful fruity floral, there is a strong synthetic note I can’t get over. Selling my 1 oz bottle, US only.

Dramaloladiva

It’s a love for me. This is floral, fruity and musky all balanced and perfectly bottled!
Yes, this isn’t one of those perfumes that will completely wow you or subjugate you but it’s so sweet and floral and fluffy and I absolutely love it! I guess it’s being discontinued so I need to hurry up and get a bigger bottle soon!!♥️🍓🍒🌹☁️

dovey

There are a few perfumes out there that remind me of early morning strawberry jam breakfast 🍓
This perfume is definitely one of them
The rest are Mon Paris, Burberry her & Kenzo world

While Mon paris is the loudest & strongest in that strawberry jam element

The rest are way lighter, for those who still want to enjoy a berry perfume but with a quiet, shy or even more mature vibes to it

This one in particular has a dry kindda bitter note which I like alot
Could be the pepper, or the pomegranate I am not sure

It keeps the perfume crisp & prevents it from cloying or changing throughout the day
You probably can guess what I am about to say next....
Its suitable for all 4 seasons of the year🍃☀️🍁🌧️, day & night

Longevity is a bit poor for a designer eau de Parfum which is on the expensive side

blackcatparfum

Raspberry syrupy goodness with a good amount of body to it. It has a lot of warmth and spice (likely due to the pink pepper), making it an ideal Fall scent in my opinion. The dry down is divine and lasts forever (when sprayed on clothes, it holds for days). This is one of my two signature scents and this one definitely leans a bit younger, but the gourmand in me can't resist.

Azisai-

A spring cocktail with SO much raspberry (perfect for raspberry lovers out there <3), and rosy-musk undertones. Ultra sweet, feminine, unapologetically carefree and girly. Makes a great everyday spring scent! Longevity is super good, lasts a lot longer than any other Dior I've tried so far...almost all day if you spray on clothes. Sillage is mild-tempered, not too loud but not skin-scent either. If you're new to the miss Diors you should probably go for this one, it isn't necessarily groundbreaking but it's still a spring staple espec. if you love fruity.

From what I've heard this one is being discontinued too, unfortunately :( I REALLY hope they won't make a Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming 2022 edt or something, as they tend to. Might as well stock up now while they're still around.

JaneRose

I tested Abs. Blooming 3 times during the sales period in January. The third one I decided to buy it, since its longevity on my wrist was extremely great and was a really strong, beautiful floral perfume, different from many others.
I opened it today, 9 hours ago... and omg, what was that!!! I bought Si Armani and didn't know it. Absolutely different smell from that I tested.
Ok, there is the rose, but I don't want only rose.
What on earth was happened?
It is exactly Armani Si on my skin, 9 hours later remains Armani Si, the original.
Sillage is strong and the first 3 hours very strong. My daughter opened the car's window while was snowing, she couldn't stand it!! ☺️

Anyway, for me was a big disappointment, I didn't want to buy Armani Si, I had it in the past, It's boring after so many years.
I have to say that the smell I got when I tested it, not only once but 3 times, was exactly the same. Nothing similar, not a little bit of Armani Si. If something change between my nose and Abs. Blooming I will write again. 👃😉

Dawnya7b

Such a gorgeous gorgeous everyday fruity floral. Stock up because it’s getting discontinued. I currently have one back up and will be buying at least 3 or 4 more before the end of the year that’s how much I never want to be without this gorgeousness!

perfumesniffer

I don’t get a fruity floral from this. I get shrill patchouli bug spray. Same shrill vibe I get from Coco Mademoiselle and most of the Dior Cherie’s, etc.

Lillie7

Smells 99.9% like SHINE BY AJMAL !!

jinglebells

Purchased a well used bottle, but I’m quite glad because I don’t see myself using this very often. The initial spray does smell like si with the black currant, but the dry down is much more powdery.
It is a classy, put together fragrance that is good for a day time event, since I don’t go to many formal day time events, the 10ml or so is enough for me. This is probably good for the office, if you’re in quite a formal setting, the projection and silliage is great, but it’s a bit too formal and a touch too vintage smelling for me to wear casually. But it’s perfect for attending a wedding or something.

DebiL1211

Beautiful and arm's length projection for four hours and 4 sprays. Glad to have it but wouldn't repurchase. It is a slightly sweet but spicy fragrance on my skin. The berries stand out slightly but the pink pepper really stands out on my skin. Am I the only one who gets Gucci II vibes from this?

russ0975

Gorgeous scent! Really nice perfume and I think you could wear it all year round.

407

I'm glad I stopped staring at this in my wishlist and actually purchased it once I saw it was being discontinued!

There was something a little iffy upon initial spray and I later realized it was the pink pepper (I was only able to recognize it because of the pink pepper in Bath and Body Works' Kaleidoscope). Thankfully, the pepper fades away in the first hour and warms really nicely on my skin.

Now there's just a really nice, warm, sweet, and slightly boozy rose-raspberry jam scent on my skin. I will definitely test this in warmer weather and update this review.

Milamoo92

I used to own Miss Dior Cherie and adored it. I find this to have some resemblance to it but amped up florals and musk. I do get a somewhat Armani Si vibe initially, but the dry down turns into a candied rose in what I can only explain to me to be a lighter, day time version of la nuit tresor. The end is quite powdery but overall, this is a beautiful musky floral yet fruity scent that will definitely get you noticed.

ashleybaby444

loooove this scent. it is so beautiful. i feel like it could be worn for really any season/occasion. i was gifted this while on vacation in florida and it smelled good being in the heat and humidity as it does now in winter. a very girly and sweet scent. at first its a little spicy but as it dries down it becomes sweet and almost creamy. something random that it reminds me of in the dry down is the smell of like a really fancy casino or cruise ship…if anyone gets what i mean?? seriously love this and its honestly a contender for wedding day perfume. hope its not being discontinued though!!

Cataddicted

I remember when this one came out, I was absolutely obsessed with getting it, it’s one of those bottles that just has me falsely saying ‘I love it!’ right before I’d even tried the scent just because I love the bottle so much! I’m not usually a fruity scents sort of person but this one is more likeable than most. It’s still not a favourite, but it’s one of the fruitier scents that I enjoy more than most. Definitely very sweet and rosy. I think the sillage and lasting power could be a lot better though. It doesn’t seem to smell very much at all on me, and it doesn’t last very long either. I’m not sure if I’d repurchase, it’s sort of a ‘maybe, maybe not’ sort of situation.

cacemonster

Oh gosh this is a horrible one! I love the ingredients in it, except i dont know pink pepper. Maybe thats the awful thing mixing this in to a horrible spicy, cloying and strong scent! I have been scrubbing and scrubbing till my arm went red, I cant get it off. Sillage is over the top! 1 spray the lady at the counter did on me, and its now stuck to me, my car, my jacket and every room i enter. Please spray this carefully for other peoples sake :( this is not one bit fruity on me. I just want to get rid of ot from my arm asap :( I have smelled this numerous times before, must be similar other fumes mostly worn by older females. I wanted it sprayed on me because it smelled interesting on paper, big mistake!

EDIT DAY AFTER: i woke up with it still on my arm. Going outside, the jacket smelled ALOT! My car smelled, and after 24 hours i could still get a small smell of it on my arm. The sillage and longevity on this is out of this world!! I found it more pleasant today after it calmed down. For me to be using this, they would have to release a body mist lol! I got some floeerbomb vibes out of it today after 12-20 hours after applying. Reading other reviews i think I might have very weird skin or a over sensitive nose :(

EDIT 2; WEEK AFTER
My coat still has the smell from when I wore it on my arm, and that was just from touching my wrist, I did not spray on my coat. But now it finally settled down to a more calm, comforting nice smell with even a sweet vibe. So it is soo incredible strong and long lasting! If you love the smell of this, the price is definitiv worth it as I can see it :) it was way to strong and spicy for me though :(

Thegrimmreaderr

This perfume is being discontinued here in The U.S. so stock up now while it's still available to purchase! My guess is they will do the same thing they did with Miss Dior EDP 2017....rerelease a different perfume with the same name in 2022. Are they planning on doing this with this entire range?? Hmmmm...

piahellgren

This is so intense on the musk it could almost be a Montale… it’s strong and long lasting with very apparent perfume style raspberry, lots of pink pepper and a quality rose. It is a huge compliment getter and Armani Si Intense from 2021 smells a bit like this, but this is screechier, but also more long lasting. I like it, don’t love it.

m00nlights

It's too sweet.
My father accidentally brought me this one when I wanted the Dior blooming bouquet in 2017. I got nauseated and thought I would grow out of it. So today I tried it and guys... m'am.... I got this year's headache. I felt sick and had to wash it off my body.

Lamiawitipo

The only perfume that never fails to get me at least two compliments every single wear from both men and women. Yes it is overly girly sweet fruity mass appealing but undeniably a high quality one, I can be dressed down with my dirty sneakers and feel put together with it. Very uplifting and happy yet luxurious. It is also incredibly long lasting and literary fills a room for hours. It's so good and that's exactly why it is on its way to be discontinued, thank you Dior... again.

vrinsun

Overly sweet and nauseating. I personally hate this but i can see why some people like it. It has a charm to it.

amy33

This is so sweet and cozy to my nose, the kind of perfumes that accompanies you through your day. It makes me feel good, happy and noticeable! This is definitely my favourite from the Miss Dior collection and even from all of Dior's fragrances.

Saj_Shae

A very gorgeous jammy rose scent. It smells better when the juice "ages". Three sprays of this and someone told me they could smell it through their mask and the sillage was very strong. I love the musky and creamy dry down which lasts very long on my perfume eating skin. Raspberry fragrances tend to be a hit or miss (usually miss) for me but this one is well done and smells very posh, opulent and expensive.

Minimijn

I have had the rollerball (which weirdly enough has its own page?) for a about two years now, and I absolutely loved it at first. Now I think I’ve matured a bit and I still love it, but only in colder weather, I dislike what it reminds me of when it’s warm. The musk smell it dries down to is very nice and powdery, but very generic, so good for a first perfume! I like the fruity opening, and to me the pink pepper isn’t out of place at all like I’ve seen in some reviews.

nickinicole

I am a huge fan of fruity florals, but I don't love the pink pepper in this scent. Initially, I hoped it would balance the sweetness, but instead it kind of sticks out like a sore thumb to my nose.

temo

There’s just something about this fragrance that brings to mind striking a perfect chord on the keyboard at just the right moment in a song. Reminiscent of the old Miss Dior Cherie. Sigh . . . If I could wish that one back into being, I certainly would.
The berry accord in Absolutely Blooming makes me feel Absolutely Happy!
I wouldn’t have thought so, but strangely, this suits me more in cold weather than warm temperatures.

rachelsofiaxo

the pink pepper note is so strong in the initial spray, it makes me really nauseous. however, the dry down is so beautiful its worth it

JenJBS

Beautiful scent. The notes are well blended. Great for the office.

Wiktoriaaaz

Absolutely nothing like sí so I’m confused by the comparisons. I was looking forward to this, but ugh… it’s really mature and boring.. it opens up like angel, aka. Abrasive and offensive, then settles down slightly. It remains fresh, and it even gives an aquatic vibe at some points in the beginning.

Once it dries on warm skin it gets a bit better and I can smell the black currant more, this is definitely rose heavy too. Pink pepper remain and keeps this really fresh. It’s a bit sweet, but nothing like I thought it’d be. It’s not as mature and abrasive but still I’d call this an appropriate work scent for people in their 30s upwards. It just smells like someone who can be a young mum who works at an office, or she’s the hard working auntie. It’s not very fun or playful, it’s rather serious. Which isn’t my thing.

This is fresh but heavy.. which makes my stomach turn. I agree with the nail varnish remover vibe as well. Maybe it’ll grow one me.
Update, I sold it lol

LSAUG

Absolutely Blooming what? Boredom?

turkishgirl

This perfume is now discontinued in france so if you can find it get it!!! 💞

Marina.Klr

A rich, syrupy and sweet scent that lasts forever making you feel amazing 💝 enjoy the absolute femininity, the power, the luxuriousness, the passion, but at the same time the romanticism and the innocence. - Α touch of refined carefreeness. 🎀 that black currant note is really there!

alejbvf

LOVE LOVE LOVE! It was my signature scent in 2018 and I always got so many compliments while wearing it. Outstanding longevity and sillage.

Emera1d

Ever since finishing a bottle of Miss Dior Cherie years ago I have been staying away from the flankers but curiosity got the better of me and I tested Absolutely Blooming. In the first couple of minutes it reminded me of Valentino Donna but less powdery, AB had the same buttery and waxy texture, then slowly mellowed to a nondescript pink fruity floral. No notes stand out, it isn't beautiful or attention grabing or intriguing. It could be just another pink body spray. Not my thing.
A nail polish remover like note emerges in the dry down which makes it thoroughly unpleasant.

Swedelish

I have a bottle from 2016 and the juice is darker, richer smelling than testers currently in store. Hard to believe this came out before Miss Dior 2017 because it actually smells like a flanker of it. The two are so very similar at their core, however AB is absolutely amped up with the syrupy raspberry sweetness and a powdery sugary dusting on top. It's very girly, very sweet, very strong, but still has a grown-up edge. The strongest Miss Dior they ever made imo, next to Le Parfum.

I like it better than the regular 2017 edp, but I can only stand to wear it once in a blue moon. It truly is a beast of a perfume. I feel like it has more than just musk in the base. Perhaps a small dose of patchouli, but it's hard to tell with how rich and sweet it is. If you love Miss Dior 2017 and like the idea of a raspberry confection take on it, this is for you. The older bottles are more potent and the raspberry note heftier. The newer bottles smell more juicy-pomegranate than syrupy-berry, but that could be due to age. I skipped the waiting and went straight for an older bottle when I had the chance. But of course reformulation is always a possibility with Dior, so I'm inclined to think it was changed at some point since it came out.

Gugz

This is the best fruity floral fragrance 😍 it makes me so happy. I feel on top of the world when I am wearing Absolutely blooming 😍 it is my best fragrance.

KladfvbungMicshk

This took a while for me to appreciate, but I ended up getting a small bottle. It’s excessively sweet, would be perfect if the sweetness was toned down a couple notches on the dry down. The sweetness is brown-sugary, there’s also a bit of spice and rose/peony. There’s something vintage about the smell, and not in a perfume history way necessarily, but because it kind of smells like dolls and old books and old memories (memories that aren’t specifically mine). Kind of like the vibe of a vintage sepia photo. Compared to its contemporaries with similar note profiles, this one is more enigmatic and mysterious.

Edit: about 2 months later, I can’t get enough of this perfume! Took
me a while but now I crave it. Temperature has a significant effect on this one; it’s much more palatable in colder and drier weather.

Gemsense

This is almost identical to Aquolinas Sweet Me in the candy bag bottle. Its too sweet for summertime heat but im sure ill love it like i love the other in cooler weather. I love the sweet sexy muskiness.

natasha28

Review is for my own reference - I found a 30ml NIB on Kijiji for $40 from someone in Moncton. I remember liking Miss Dior Cherie when I was younger and always wanted to try more Miss Dior flankers. I am SO SO SO happy I blind bought this and drove 1.5 hours to Moncton to get it! Upon the first spray, I was in love! It makes me feel so pretty. This perfume totally suits me! It reminds me of La Vie Est Belle, although it's not a dupe. I think if you like LVEB then you'd like this as well. I was a bit worried that I might not like it being a blind buy, but I figured I could sell it if I didn't like it. I had also blind bought D&G Pour Femme based on the notes I thought I would love but ended up hated it. This scent is a nice vindication!

Wow, wow, wow, I found my new signature scent! It's a beautiful sweet rose peony with pink pepper. The longevity is good at ~6+ hours and the sillage is arms-length to 6ft. This scent does not need to be oversprayed. I think it works for any season of the year.

I have been on a rampage of trying new perfumes lately and I am so impressed with this, my new favorite scent! I was able to find another 100ml bottle on ebay for about $130, and I found a Miss Dior EDP original for about $110 that I am excited to try!

It's a nice scent so I understand it being pricey, but I think the full retails price is far too much! If you can find it on discount do it!

It does NOT smell like: Lancome Tresor La Nuit, Givenchy Live Irresistibly, YSL Mon Paris

lyka

très floral fruité, très classe, je ne le sentais pas vraiment sur moi mais tout le monde m'a dit que je sentais bon. je ne racheterai pas mais convient bien à femme discrète et romantique

carleycanton14

This lasts so long on my skin, and lasts even longer on clothes. This is definitely top 5 for me, I always have a back up bottle of this one. Very fruity, love the rose and peony, also has a slight spice from the pink pepper.. it just smells so feminine and girly which is my kind of scent. Almost has a makeup/lipstick note in this but I absolutely adore this. My husband isn't a huge fan of it though but he has to deal with it because this isn't going anywhere. I've never been big on musk but it's so lovely in this fragrance. Great fruity floral with hints of powder, amazing!

bebban

I love it, however, I do not wear it too often. It can cause headaches if I mistakenly put on too much of it. It last for an eternity. It is a fantastic scent of flowers and musk :) I do not regret buying it at all!

Perazim

i have kept this because it smells amazing in the flacon. However, I get that this can get you feel bad and sick. It really is like a thick syrup. Not extremely heavy but still heavy. I was reaching for something more light and that will not give me headaches.
I will sell this although I thought this is my ultimate scent.

Sweetfemme

Very feminine. Slightly sweet. Kinda rosey with a grape soda vibe (I’m guessing the pomegranate/black current/raspberry is doing that)
To me it’s a spring and summer scent but I’m sure you can wear it all year around.
Very pleasant fruity floral!

MissAnnette

I’m catching whiffs of the sweet berry note from the Miss Dior Chérie (2011) that they removed from the subsequent reformulation. Maybe I’ll buy the roller pearl to layer with my Miss Dior (2012). I remember being so disappointed when I recieved that Miss Dior on my birthday minus the sweetness of the previous Miss Dior Chérie which is what I wanted. Anw, I find Absolutely Blooming to be too sweet without the citrus and patchouli to balance it.

Tested from carded sample vial

komail

Beautiful feminine fragrance. The opening is amazing. One of the best openings for female perfumes. However, as it dries down and the pomegranate starts to creep it, it becomes less alluring. I am not a big fan of the pomegranate note in perfumery. It gives a synthetic tart sweet vibe. It reminds me somehow of pop rocks candy. Huge let down after dries down because of that note.

Mizz-Coco

This was not a love at first sniff for me but once I have it a chance to settle in my skin, it quickly turned into love. The opening is a very harsh alcohol smell with a jumble of potent tart florals backed by a strong musk but once you give this 15 minutes on skin, it transforms to a beautiful smooth syrupy floral with musk in the background. I don’t see vanilla listed as the notes but somehow the berries and musk in this give off a hint of a fruity vanillic vibe as a background to the peony. Longevity is pretty stellar on clothes and skin, I’ve sprayed this in the evening and woken up the next morning to still catch wafts of it on my skin; I suspect that the musk really helps with this. Sillage is pretty moderate I get a good 3 hours on moisturized skin. On clothes, I’ve put on a scarf that I’ve sprayed with it and a week later and it’s still very present although the sillage is more intimate at this point, which is to be expected. I wouldn’t say this is outright sexy but it brings to mind a polished lady-like young woman with a sensuality to her.

TexasOrangeBlossom

Finally using my samples of this. I expected more from Dior. It’s not bad, maybe my tastes have evolved too much beyond the basic floral fruity perfumes for this to be a love, but I don’t think this is worth the money even if it is pleasant. However, if you want a gorgeous bottle for a young lady who is just starting to use perfume, then I think it “might” make a nice gift. Honestly, I feel there are better choices though.
Side note: My kids and I all agree that is smells a bit like the air freshener at Goodwill stores.

piahellgren

This smells like a sharper and fruitier Van Cleef Rose Rouge and I like this one better. The tart sharpness that some dislike I love. The berries here manage to be both fresh and compote-like and they go so well with the massive rose-peony muskiness. Beautiful and posh perfume. Had not tried it before and it is actually the Van Cleef that smells like this one! So good, Dior!

ragoh

A blind-buy mistake for me. I really wanted to like this, but even after multiple wears, I just can't bring myself to like this fragrance at all. It smells too sharp and is so overpowering it gives me a headache. I can't seem to stand the pink pepper note in this, and perhaps the raspberry, pomegranate and blackcurrant notes are all too sour for me. I know smell is a very subjective thing, but to me this smells like a highly-manicured, overdone woman who's sense of style is defined by anything with a label or brand. Sadly, I had to give it away. I do love the original Miss Dior EDP though, just not this flanker sadly.

VioletOrchid

This one to my nose is a mix of the smooth fruity floral YSL mon Paris and the sweetness of Lancôme la nuit tresor. Personally, I’m not crazy about either, but I know many people who are. The sweetness intensifies with dry down. Good longevity and projection too.

Gosh I can’t stand the syrupy sticky-sweet dry down though...

cocolily1

I got this in late 2017 and all I can say is - sweet and spicy. I have had many compliments whilst wearing this and I love that it gives off a sour vibe, giving it more depth than your average sweet women’s fragrance. I think the scent is sexy and by far one of my longest lasting perfumes (lasts all day)

bajablast

i'm not a perfume snob by any means but there's something i just can't stand in this one. it's tart in a bad way and too sour. it's also the only fragrance that's given me a headache. definitely avoid it in hot weather. i can see why no one voted it as a summer fragrance.

Alwayssmelling good

This is very girly and feminine and makes me feel put together. I haven't decided whether I can wear this daily without getting sick of it yet but I enjoy it in my rotation. The first 20 minutes is also a bit too overpowering for me but it dries down nicely into a elegant, sweet musky fragrance. Blooming bouquet has a much nicer opening in my opinion but I haven't decided which one I eventually prefer.

Edit: found this nauseating after a couple of weeks and had to give it away.

kaylob1

Love the sweet top notes. This is an easy to wear sweet scent. Perfect for easy spring, summer and fall days.

RainbowGirl

The pink pepper is everything in this perfume.

The top notes are a beautiful combination of the raspberry, black currant, and pomegranate, slightly sweet. With the pink pepper elevating this fragrance to give it a kick of spicyness, elegance, and glamor. But I would not consider this a spicy perfume. When the pink pepper and fruit fade, I can smell the fresh peony, and finally a hint of musk at the base as it fades away.

The projection is strong at the beginning, so if you wear this to work, spray sparingly. The longevity was okay, maybe.. 2 to 3 hours.

Overall, I am thrilled this perfume is in my collection, but I have not quite figured out when it would be appropriate to wear. It doesn't last long enough for work, it is too bright and fresh for bedtime, and too glamorous for weekend jeans. Maybe good for a lunch date when the pandemic is over...

Chippeta

This perfume is everything it advertises itself to be. All the notes are there and work together in harmony to provide a delicious fragrance of ripe berries amongst a bouquet of roses.

Have received a ton of compliments from this perfume. It is an uncomplicated fragrance that is well suited for the day and quite youthful, yet elegant. No inoffensive notes so an overall crowd pleaser for lovers of floral fragrances.

Can't help but feel there is a little something missing... perhaps a bit more depth? While this is stopping me from declaring Absolutely Blooming a signature scent, I'm probably still jaded from the loss of the amazingly faceted fragrance of Miss Dior Cherie.

supergirl9412

This should’ve been right up my alley, but it’s just too saccharine, which is quite a thing for me to say, being a gourmand/sweet lover. Lots of thick, syrupy berry with a loud cotton candy sweetness. Musk plays a very low-key supporting role.

Great projection and longevity. It’s a pass for me, though, sadly. It’s just too much ...
—————————————
UPDATE (after purchasing a full bottle): So help me, I have tried to love this. The notes of Absolutely Blooming are right up my alley, but there’s something about it that’s just .. off. The opening features a really strong doughy quality that lasts for most of the wear time. Thankfully, it’s cut in the top with a bright pepperiness, which helps .. but the whole composition is haunted by that flat, playdough quality. The rest of the wear is ok. The midphase is very sweet … about 10% cotton candy but 90% chalky candy cigarette (again, off to me), and the base is very musky. The drydown (after 4-5 hours) does remind me of Miss Dior, which I like.

Pretty good strength and decent lasting power.

Unfortunately, I’ll be returning my bottle and putting that money toward other purchases. I did change my initial rating of “dislike” to “ok” … The new bottle I bought does it more justice than the old bottle tester on which I based my initial review. FYI, at the time of this posting (April 2024), Absolutely Blooming is still available in the US at Ulta (where I purchased my bottle) in 1.0oz, 1.7oz, and 3.4oz bottles.

Dimples522

I received this today and ... YUM! Dior have managed the perfect mix of girly, fun sweetness with a sophisticated edge which makes me feel womanly and vibrant. Frankly I smell fantastic! The way this wraps you in a fluffy light cloud of scent is perfect. The juice is pink, and it smells PINK. This is my first Miss Dior from the range, and I might just be hooked. Beautiful.

Roses1357

All I get is the smell of sweet bubblegum. Good? Bad? Undecided.

Eva.s 123

Gorgeous, feminine, deep and elegant scent. One of my favorites. I really love it.

mevans

Love this one. Leave it to Dior to make a syrupy sweet fragrance come off as elegant and classy. First time out with it I got a compliment from a lady walking by me and I was already enjoying it so much myself. It just makes me happy when I wear it. It's a feeling that even in jeans and a t-shirt you are still sort of "put-together". I will definitely re-buy this whenever I run out.

jussieboo

It’s always interesting to me, how we individually perceive scents. I know most would call this a girly perfume, but for whatever reason, I feel like it smells like a men’s cologne. My husband likes it, so I’m wearing it today. I’m actually becoming quite nauseous. It is very strong. Not a safe blind buy in my opinion. However, I do enjoy having this chic & elegant bottle in my collection.

windi450

This is one of my favorite scents. I have been eyeing this perfume since 2016 (finally got it in 2021), and my love for this perfume has never died. However, it's nothing super special, but the smell is very beautiful. Similar to Mon Paris by YSL, this scent makes me feel like an expensive fruit. This scent makes me feel fresh and beautiful. The silage isn't overpowering. I'm sure people can smell me but it does not fill the room. Great scent. 9.5/10.

craftymaya

Fantastic! As much I do not care for the original Miss Dior, this one is gorgeous! It is rich, opulent and feminine. Sweet fruitiness perfectly balanced with the flowers and musk. The pink pepper is discrete (thank goodness) and I am also getting a vanilla vibe but there is none in the notes. Love it! Now, I want to try more from Miss Dior flankers :)

Veronika95

I understand the confusion about Armani Sì similarity. The opening really does remind me of Sì. I would say they are distant relatives. Miss Dior has a black currant, Sì has a black currant leaf. I’m not sure what the difference is supposed to be, but to me it’s the same note. I like both, but Sì is very subtle on my skin and that’s why I gave it away. Miss Dior has much better projection so it’s definitely better choice for me.
It’s very feminine and simply beautiful scent. I can even see this getting in my top 5 someday.
Dior really knows how to make a good perfume.

And yet, after some time, I found out I probably will not keep it. It’s very similar style to Coco Mademoiselle and Coco Mademoiselle Intense, and I already have those and I like them better, so I guess I have no use for this one. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, just not that special for me

Forbiddenjade

Velvet-like raspberry / blackcurrant combo with a ghostly tad of musk and the lightness of petals. Fresh, yet dense, it's a triumph of femininity. Not a girlish fruity thing at all, rather a mature rendition of that on the sweeter side, but not sickly so. Very classy, charming and intriguing, there's no comparison with Si from Armani, they're not even distant cousins!

Absolutely divine, a must.

Kathgolap88

Sometimes I layer TBS Raspberry body butter with Yardley English Rose. This one smells exactly like this with superb projection and longevity.
Beautiful, juicy, overpowering at the opening. After 30 minutes into it, it fades a little and the rose takes over the fruitiness.
It’s delicious, classy and appealing.
For the floral lovers who hesitates to venture into gourmands this is a good safe one.
It’s sweet but when the sweetness starts to bother, rose and woody notes comes over with a freshness.
Two sprays and my room is filled, I get it on skin for 12+ hours.

iris_iris

The best still in production, modern formulation of Miss Dior and the only one that resembles the slightest Miss Dior Cherie (mostly drydown). Sweet, with a very strong note of raspberry (I can smell it from beginning to the very end). For me the best syrupy, sugary sweet gourmand out there. Why? It's the least artificial and has an excellent drydown - and this is extremely hard expecially in sugary gourmands. It never goes into powdery or too burnt sugar territory. Very stylish and excellently composed. Compared to f.e. La Nuit, this is a different world when it comes to craftmanship. Has slight, tiny similarity to La Vie est belle (something like iris, maybe musk or peony). The longevity and sillage are nuclear (10h+). Smells amazing on fabrics, I don't know if not better than on skin. Not only the best flanker, but it beats the classic Miss Dior. Hope they won't discontinue it like they did with genious Le Parfum. Perfect perfume to wear while waiting for better times to come.
