I have both the regular and the intense version and I prefer this one. This one is missing the raspberry which is a big deal breaker for me because I don’t like it (smells juvenile and cheap to me). This one is better however it still has that bubblegum sweet quality to it, is from the tuberose, and it’s not really my cup of tea. I don’t get the marshmallow as much as I’d like either. It reminds me of Armani My Way, really feminine and pretty, but this type of scent profile is not something I crave nor do I reach for it. I might get more use out of it in the hot summer months but for now, this one is a meh. I’ll keep it because my bottle is only 25 ml (but I do regret my purchase of the Pour Femme version).

It was a blind buy and it failed. I watched sokilondon on YouTube and she normally recommends great perfumes. It doesn’t last long on my skin and not project well. It’s not a wow for me and really disappointing! I will end up using this one as room spray. What a waste! Don’t buy this.

ellie_may

Such an addictive smell! Longevity is insane! And projection too. It smells so comforting, i think you could pull it off on any season, but don't know how it will react in heat.

obrva jedna

This is such a beautiful fluffy scent! On my skin I smell mostly neroli, orange blossom and marshmallow. Turns out I used it so much that I became temporarily anosmic to it. After a brief pause, I realize now how long lasting it really is. Perfection in a bottle!

purplesugar

It’s so funny how these reviews are either hot or cold lol we all smell things differently and I’m on the side of the yumm factor❤️❤️ To me it smells like a decadent rich marshmallow if there was such a thing lol I smell mature but in a boss type of a way. An overly confident woman in a suit all grown up demanding attention and smells like a a seductress as all the men drop open their mouth when she walks by because of her presence, but then they are left in her scent trail as her heels 👠 take her away A whiff of her aura and they’re hooked

Ferra_Verto

Musky orange flower powder dries down to marshmallow cream soda, properly yummy. My bottle is ancient so its properly macerated, it doesn't read as synthetic/chemical as some have mentioned.
Perfect for cool/cold weather, you may be able to get away with this in the summer nights.
Not a big projector, lasts around 6 hrs overall.

TexasOrangeBlossom

After not wearing for years, I wore it to bed last night. It kept giving me beautiful wafts of oranges scented marshmallow and was still strong in the morning. I think my bottle gets better as it ages. If I had to choose between a new bottle of Devotion or a matured bottle of Pour Femme Intense, I’d pick the latter. To me, Devotion has something scratchy and unrefined about it. Maybe it just needs time to mature.

Mae10

very weak performance also i think the notes are just so lifeless i think i will like the original better because it has more notes and it has raspberry which i think this one needs very badly i didn't enjoy this perfume at all. which is sad because i smelled it on someone and the performance was great and it had more vibrancy and life to it and now i realized it was the original and not this one such a waste of time and energy lol I'm afraid to give the original a try now because of how much i hate this one

elleayjay

Unfortunately, this smells like fingernail polish remover on me. Sad because I love the original Pour Femme. I usually love the intense flankers better, but for this one I’ll just stick with the OG

madsoem

Sweet and yummy. But not in a classic or boring way. I guess it’s the marsmallow that make this smell interesting.

Fragnant

If I remember correctly, I liked the original pour femme sprayed on a tester at Ulta but now they removed pour femme and the intense off the market. At first it was like sweet marshmallows but quickly turned into wipes on my skin. How disappointing unless you like the newborn smell. I try to make it work by sweetening up other fragrances as the base.

j.andresminor

My Mother HATES IT! She cant stand that sugary smell at all, she gave me to me, i looove it, velvety and sexy, really addictive and yummy, it used to last 10 hours, really 10 hours, but it was back in 2015, dont know about the reformulation, please dont give it as a present for your mother, because it is or used to be like cotton urinal raspberry but i loved it, still or was very elegant

morphoevgenia

I guessed I have a cold skin, and this fragrance needs warmth, which I can recover only during warm summer. During winter this fragrance incredibly shy, close to skin and flat. During summer it is my favorite office fragrance. It reminds me a powder residue of marshmallow, if you sniff it up close, it will stick in your nose. I apply it on moisturized skin, it stays all day till shower, I definitely can smell it, but it just doesn’t project. By nature of fragrance, it cannot be loud. How loud is marshmallow smell? It is called Intense because it is more powdery and dense, compare to original, but it is not intense compare to any other fragrance. The name is misleading.
So yeah, talking about temperature. It is absolutely lovely in summer. Beautiful under AC, beautiful in the bus, beautiful in the sun heat. It is slightly gourmand, not sunscreen summer scent.

Trunte1234

So disappointed in this. Very weak performance

grafgr

Very weak non-performer.

Flexwithviv

This was a bit disappointing to me, I just expected more. It’s alright, inoffensive and stands out more than the original.
To me this perfume doesn’t last as long as the original. Can be used as a signature scent due to its softness. I can’t wait to try it in the autumn/winter to see if it amps up a bit more.

bffeash_13

I don't know if its something wrong with my nose or the bottle i received, but i can barely smell this when i spray it. It's like a whisper of a perfume. No sillage, no longevity of course if i can barely register it as i've sprayed it. this happens mainly on my skin, but i pick it up a bit more if i spray it on my clothes.

EmpressVision

The marshmallow & orange blossom are definitely more intense here. This is more present than the OG for sure with more sillage & longevity. Extremely feminine. Soft & comforting. I enjoy wearing this to bed. I think this can work for both casual & dress up in cooler weather while the OG can be worn all year round. Glad I have both because this is marshmallow that's acceptable. Marshmallow usually pulls too geriatric-powdery on me & D&G never does.

canabena

This smells exactly like the original pour femme just sweeter. The marshmallow note here is more intense. As much as I love the original this one has to be my favorite if you are in between id say get the intense version. Its just as elegant and soft it just projects more and is sweeter.I will say though allow the top notes to dissipate the orange blossom is heavy at first but quickly disappears leaving the intense version of the original DNA.

DHakky

You know the smell of a makeup bag you own that contains old makeup from the 90's ...this exactly what this perfume smells like

Yasmeena0

What a beautiful scent! Such a pretty marshmallow blended with neroli and orange blossom 💜 U need this perfume in your collection 🌸

Danilo_Saturn

No where near to Love by Killian, but that's not a bad thing. In fact, this is such a nice fragrance. That's the best way to describe this fragrance. Simple, but nice. I am not the biggest fan of the opening, but the dry down is where the magic is. (I am automatically in love with any fragrance that smells like marshmallow.)

Fragrantica's note break down is pretty accurate for this fragrance, so I will not go into too much depth, but the marshmallow dry down is delicious. Very intimate, and close to the skin, which sometimes that is all I want, I wear this to work since it is not a huge room filler, nor is it a "beast", it's just simple.

Definitely great for all seasons, occasions, times, age ranges, and genders!

Although this is literally for a female, hence the "pour femme", as a male presenting person, I get a load of compliments, even from the most masculine of men, but that is only in the first few 30 minutes to an hour due to the opening notes. But I am not sure if that's because they automatically assume as a male I wear cologne, or if it the neroli and orange blossom opening might come off as masculine? But nonetheless, I love it.

Kim Milan

I really like this scent no comparison to love don’t be shy nowhere even near this has a scent of its own which I really like a lot maybe even a little bit more than love don’t be shy. With this I can definitely smell the marshmallow and orange blossom along with sandalwood but am also picking up some jasmine must be the neroli. It is quite a nice scent I may purchase another bottle😊

milipudding

Smells like cream soda! One of few types of sweet scents I like. This scent smells like a mature big sister. Full bottle worthy.

Hannehoney

One of my favorites :) This scent makes me smile, its so soft and warm and comforting. Its powdery sweet, its like getting a hug :) I love it. Its perfectly blended. Its not very strong and I have to overspray, I like to spray it in my hair and clothes to make it project more. It lasts about 5-6 h on my skin.

sweetlikecandie

If you’re looking for a scent that is sweet and fluffy, sexy yet innocent, sophisticated but youthful, this is it!

Kizzyb93

I have had this about a year and I have not really played around with this one much, the reason being although it’s “nice” not beautiful not ground breaking just “nice” that’s all it really is I don’t think it’s staying power is good on me, I can’t smell it on my skin ten minutes after spraying, it’s one I only ever spray just before bed but that very rare . I recently watched a YouTuber saying that this is a LDBS dupe and I have to strongly disagree this one is almost dusty and not half as sweet as LDBS

Riri33

I’m confused with this one. When I sampled it in spring weather in Canada it was lovely. Marshmallow all the way. It’s pretty heavy but still suitable for daytime if you don’t overspray . You will smell candy like but in a mature way. Delicious. When I sampled it in Rome this summer it was nothing like what I remembered. I wonder if it’s been reformulated. It was a no-no and very disappointing. Make sure you test it before you buy it.

gospogjicata

This is orange blossom neroli marshmallow scent, for someone with bubbly personality, and it fits me really well. I am not going to describe the scent more deeply as I really like this perfume and the scent is 9/10 for me.
However, my issue with this scent is that it has Intense in its name and the longevity and projection are really poor. It has really weak projection, you don't fill a room with it. It's more like a skin scent.
And the longevity is really poor. The opening stays for a few minutes only and the drydown evaporates after an hour, or two max. I tried spraying it on skin, clothes, hair etc but it's the same thing. When I wear this scent I usually overspray and refresh the scent multiple times during the day.
Such a bad thing for such a wonderful smell.
I also like to layer this with Armani Si Fiori :) I get candy marshmallow scent with those two combined.

mandyads

This is a powdery orange blossom and sandalwood fragrance primarily. There is some neroli and marshmallow hidden in the background for sure. I own both the original and the intense. To be honest, I rarely reach for any of these now that I've delved into the world of niche and indie marshmallows. The marshmallow in these fragrances is not necessarily the immediate vibe you pick up - it smells like perfume because it smells like marshmallow... hence, not a gourmand fragrance.

I've finally decided to declutter my Intense bottle because I actually smell much more marshmallow in the original EDP even though it is a lighter scent. I wear it when I'm going to be working in the hospital or with patients because it's super close to the skin, but I get pleasant whiffs of it every now and then. It's perfect for me to feel pretty, clean, and sweet without irritating patients with allergies or sensitive noses.

Suncica7

I have a very sensitive nose- in a way that I am able to smell even the most tender notes from far distance. It's crazy. People often tell me- how is possible that you can smell this, that.. and yes, you're right.
Ironically, with that, I find joy only in very powerful performances. I don't understand the point of perfumes that can't be smelled. Even when I reach for ''close to skin'' perfume- it has a projection and power. Even when I reach for gentle, more calm, every day perfume it is powerful.
And this is supposed to be sexy, strong, night out - impossible. it goes quickly to dry down which is very quiet, still, low key. It lasts , the dry down, but the most quiet one. Just doesn;t do what I thought is made to do- sexy and special and night out.
It is nice for daily perfume, easy for work etc.
Dry down is mainly sth like pale musk, pale pale musk, not at all sugary, which I also was looking for.
Try anyway. But you won't get femme fatale out of it.

Jezeleah

Positively reeks. Not sweet at all. Horrible musk. No cozy marshmallow. Just no! A chemical hot mess.

Kiwigoddess

This fragrance is absolutely fire! I also have pour femme which I love. Intense lasted all day on me and just when I thought I couldn't smell it anyore and it was down to a skin scent after about 9hrs of wear, I caught a whiff of it in the breeze and omg it smelled so good. I wear this to work occasionally but more often when I go for a night out. I wear this in warmer climates when I'm on holiday and have had compliments on it so it can actually be worn all year round.

It has a great strong and almost sparkling note in the opening which is gorgeous. I suspect it is the marshmallow which sweetens it up but it is not sickly sweet by any means and is definitely not gourmand. I don't find it cloying at all.

I don't think this is for a particularly young woman as I imagine the woman who wears this has her shit together, is classy, independent, driven and knows what she wants. This could totally work with black and red lingerie for a steamy night with your partner, or an equally steamy night with a hot adonis, no strings attached LOL

Projection: arms length
Longevity: 9+ hours on skin and sticks to clothes very well
Sillage: moderate
Price: full bottle worthy in my opinion and worth it

princesslopez4890

At first spray smells like vomit impo. I’m letting it sit for a few days, it could be just because it needs to settle from traveling. Then it goes in to this Barbie bubbles the little pink bottle if you know what that is then y’all know what I’m talking about. In the midst of all this I get some neroli, raspberry and coconut. I do like parts of it but I don’t know if I could tolerate the rest enough to wear it. To me it’s not clowingly sweet. At the moment it leans animalic. I’m going to give it sometime and review it again later.

coffeebean83

If I had a signature scent it'd be this. I love variety but I still refer to it as such when asked. It's a sweet bubblegum marshmallow amber floral scent that still manages to come across mature. The only season I wouldn't wear this is hot summer I think. Very underrated but I'm sort of glad for that. ;) Moderate longevity and projection. Love it.

tovasignature

Musky, too musky and not enough sweetness. I get no marshmallow, no florals, no sandalwood just a strident and sour musk that gets on my nerves. Fortunately, I sampled before I blind bought.

asg6

I get the “plasticky” synthetic vibe others have mentioned. I also dislike this for its opening on my skin. There is ABSOLUTELY an overly animalic opening to this, someone else said “musty”…yes. Musty pungent start, and the dry down is pretty immediate to a skin scent that is a combo of mild neroli and marshmallow sticky undertones. Could be a good summer spray on some people, but as many times as I’ve tried, it’s not for me.

TheSweaterGirl

*Sigh* Another blind buy fail for me. The bottle is stunning, would love to display it on the vanity. Alas, the juice inside is lacking, well, everything😅

This fragrance is soft, sweet, generic, and a poor performer as well. A subtle skin scent, and nothing more.

At least it was cheap. I’ll try to sell my bottle to recoup some of the wasted money though. Not even worth the trouble of overspraying and reapplying.

Arix

Smells like a basic sweet body lotion, or a body mist. I think it might be the marshmallow. Anyway, nothing life changing.

Unrealanna

I think it’s more “dry” version of YSL Manifesto. This is amazing : absolutely different notes and brands, but smells so similar !

GUADELUPA

It's very delicious scent. Orange blossom + marshmallow. I can imagine a business lady in the evening velour dress wearing this perfume. This image came to me due to the beautiful velvet box. This is sweet, but not cloying fragrance. Even a little bit classic and strict, because I can smell a note that sets it apart from other modern sweet fragrances like Black Opium or La Vie Est Belle. Longevity and sillage are all day long. I don't know the author of this fragrance, but it's a good work!

loverofsweets

I smelled this randomly in Sephora and loved it so much I bought a full bottle. An amazing everyday / year round scent that I don't think is too juvenile or too mature (I'm 27) this sits very close to my skin and my bf always compliments me when I wear it! I find the smell very comforting, and not too overpowering for being an "intense" fragrance. Just the perfect everyday luxury buy and can be nicely layered with vanilla fragrances. I see it as kind of a grown-up abercrombie smell if that makes sense, lol. I'm also someone who really likes warm, vanilla scents and tends to prefer body sprays over super strong perfumes, but I don't always want to smell like a dessert, lol.

Hellena Ella

I didnt dislike him but i would never buyed again! I loved the Dolce Gabbana Pour Femme, the red cap! Maybe because of this i dont like him! To bad for us was discontinued!

rezzmail

I tested this in Sephora and immediately was so surprised by how much I loved this that I went on to buy a mini. I don't even remember what it initially smelled like so imagine my surprise when I go to use this mini and it just flat out smells bad, like musty. It's probably dramatic to call myself mortified, but I was so excited and wow this is an odd one. It fades so easily and doesn't even seem like a real perfume. Maybe I got a dud...

amxx

For the first few hours it's weak sweetened detergent powder. Then it becomes good... like after 3 hours. Terrible projection.
+ crazy overpriced

Not worth it.

Btw I love pretty much all sweet and marshmallowy scents. This is not "sweet" in the way u would expect..

wondervalley666

This smells AMAZING. One of the best things I've ever smelled. No bad scents here. I've gone through several bottles. It's one of my favorites. I alternate between Pour Femme and Intense because I can't decide which I love more. Both are "skin scents" mostly. I think Intense is a little quieter in the opening without the raspberry, but still is somehow just as sweet and hits the same notes. I think intense projects more but vanishes faster. Pour femme is a bit more complex, note-wise, and lasts a bit longer, even though it may just whisper after a couple hours. I wish there was a version that was even stronger with better projection and longer lasting.

It's a tough scent to describe. I'd say it's like a slight dust of the powder from a bag of marshmallows on your skin, mixed with a touch of a chai spice-like cinnamon smoky sweet powder and a very gentle “red” fruitiness that doesn’t scream “raspberries!” to me, it’s subtly sweet and a bit tart, like a lollipop. These are layered on top of some white florals to balance it out and make it less gourmand. It doesn't feel edible to me, but rather what sweet skin should taste like. One of the sexiest scents I’ve come across.

I wear it all the time. I hate that I end up going through bottles fast because it isn't a great performer.

I guess it's possible that some would hate this. It can be intimidating. Not because it’s an overpowering smell, because it’s seductive. And it makes big moves right from the start.

It feels like it has a light sweet musk or sweet hookah/incense type of smoke, even though no such notes exist. It gives the feeling they do, though. I don't get any synthetic or cleaning product scents, I can sometimes be sensitive to those. Maybe the raspberry causes that impression on some people, as concentrated raspberry scent and flavor can smell very fake sometimes, even when it’s not fake.

I'd highly recommend this or Intense for anyone who likes sexy smoky semi-sweet seductive skin scents. Maybe for those who want Pradas Candy but sweeter and younger without dirty patchouli notes.

It's a very "wear with your sexy lingerie" or "black dress and heels date night" type fragrance.

I've sampled Killians Love Don't Be Shy, and neither Pour Femme is a dupe. Killian is more about being an edible marshmallow and wasn’t anything I'd be interested in wearing. I also tried the dupe Amalf Italiano Donna. Both Amalf and Pour Femme last roughly the same amount of time on me. Amalf maybe lasts an hour more but lacks a lot of the sweetness and complexity of Pour Femme. It opens surprisingly bitter (orange bad potpourri in alcohol), SUPER HARSH and burns for a good 30 seconds before it develops. It's partly the same scent, it’s primarily the florals and sandalwood with a dry, unsweetened vanilla. No raspberry, spices, or marshmallows. I would not purchase that dupe as a replacement for pour femme again.

spaghettibuns

This stuff is WEIRD. Obviously i got it for the marshmallow base note. HAHA and I am a tuberose lover. and you cant go too wrong with orange blossom and green mandarin. But this stuff is odd! I cant say it stinks. It doesnt stink. On me im getting all bass. Marshmallow and sandalwood. i might be getting a HINT of tuberose. Someone further down said orange creamsicle? Not for me. Someone else said diaper rash medicine? Yeeeeaaaaah. Once i read that, i smelled that. But if i dont think diaper rash med as i smell it, it doesnt jump out at me as diaper rash med. Someone else said plastic-y? Yeah, its plastic-y. When i spray it on my wrists, i cant stop smelling it. This scent is so odd and intriguing. I keep smelling it and smelling it. Its WEIRD. It almost smells like cooked butter sugar rice? No you know what? Valentines sweetheart candy. But weirder. Its very light. Not a projector. I get the impression that you could use this as a base to sweeten up another perfume that would mix with this.

un_bellecherie

Does not work with my skin chemistry. Horrifyingly, this smells like diaper rash ointment on me. Slightly fishy. Fishy and powdery. Really had hoped it would work positively as I love the bottle.

SexyStumps13

Oh man... I don't care for floral fragrances... oh marshmallow?! **sniff** Oh my goodness that's lovely!!! lol

Idk what else to say about this fragrance. It's playful and a little sweet, with a sexy, feminine floral side that ends with a playful hint of marshmallow.

f002961

Sweet lovers, this is NOT what I'd call "sweet." This is a slightly sweetened detergent smell. Sad. I'd say its floral, fresh, and fruity in that order... I think to call it a sweet scent is kind of misleading. It smells interchangeable with a lot of the Victoria's Secret fragrances, it's that kind of vibe. The perfumer just like a mixed of some florals and fruity notes and called it a day. I bought this because I love sweet scents and saw the marshmallow note. For anyone who thinks this is similar to LDBS, they're really not alike in any way except for some of the general accords listed. LDBS is both sweeter and more floral, it's more of everything, whereas this is like a nondescript and forgettable floral fruity fresh. Think Vera Wang Princess kind of vibe.

lickroicevanille

Seductive smores. Without the burnt accent. Beautiful vanilla with a bit of oriental flowers, the sandalwood gives it depth. Amazing, long lasting scent with depth. I fell in love with it a decade ago and just bought it a year ago as I stared to collect scents. I can say it was a blind buy, after a decade, I just remebered I loved it and couldn't afford it when I was 20yo. And I'm so happy I have it now. I used to spray it when I went to Sephora when I was younger but never got it. And once I received it in the mail, I must say, it's exactly how I remebered it. A tad smoky, but tad sticky, flowery, sweet and seductive. It's fresh flowers and toasted smores without being hugely gourmandy, it makes you smell sexy, not like a snack, well. You're not like a walking pastry, you're more of a person who just walked out of a pastry shop with bunch of flowers and a there's a pinch of nice spices to it and a dash of confidence.

Melissadiane

I blind purchased this because it has marshmallow in the base, and I loved the idea of this.

I first sprayed it on the box (which btw is a burgundy velvet and I LOVE that!) but it was really hard to detect. So initially I was disappointed because it’s “Intense” and yet I couldn’t smell it much.

Then I sprayed it on myself, and I did not skimp. I can smell it on my skin and it’s so lovely! It’s definitely a warm floral with a lot of sugary sweetness to it. Not in a sticky or syrupy kind of sweetness, but a lightly powdery sugary sweetness - so definitely that smell of a bag of marshmallows.

As it’s settled, it is truly quite lovely! The floral notes start to blend into the marshmallow and it’s so cozy! It’s a little seductive but without being overtly sexual. It’s perfect for a fluffy sweater, or a date night in the colder months, or even a date night where you know you’ll be sitting close.

It’s not a big projector, so it is one that you’d smell when sitting next to someone, but not as soon as you walk in the room. But it’s more than a skin scent, so don’t think that! But I will say for an “Intense” flanker I would have expected more projection. So that is a little disappointing. But regardless it’s a beautiful fragrance and I’d absolutely repurchase. I’ll be wearing this one a lot no doubt! Just will go through it faster than I’d like because I’ll be heavy handed when spraying.

It’s got a sweetness that reminds me of Ariana Grande Cloud, but it’s more sophisticated. Cloud has a cheapness to it and a bit of a 90s plastic baby doll quality to it. This does not. This is powdery, sugary, warm floral.

Update: I’m really glad I bought this one. I wear this one very frequently and find myself gravitating towards it time and time again. Already made a big dent in it and I’d say it’s made it into my top 8!

lynnphi

OK, let's set the record straight about a few things (at least in my world). I am by no means a woman who has an indispensable amount of money, but I do have enough to splurge on things worth splurging on (cars, vacations, etc.) I don't at all discriminate fragrances based on label, but unfortunately my skin does. Most fragrances exalted on Sephora or Ulta end up screechy, cloying and obnoxious on my skin. Who the heck knows why I sprayed this on my wrist while I was at the mall, but I did - and yes, it was the Intense version - but I really, really liked it in the same way that you meet a new person and think "I'm going to keep my guard up, but something about that person tells me that we're going to be friends." No screechy, no headache. After buying a sample I have been dousing myself in this elixir, pretty much on the hour, every hour. It is sweet, on the same vibration as Love Don't Be Shy, yet distinct from LDBS. In terms of color, LDBS is orangey-coral to represent orange blossom, D&G Intense is a medium pink, to represent berry. Both in a borderline cloying way, but the sweetness/marshmallow vibe to break it of its toothache and bring it down to the realm of infatuation. Love it.

Purrplealien

This is one of my favorite perfumes and I wear it both day and night. It's not very complex and sophisticated, but it's a fluffy cloud of marshmallow, white flowers and sandalwood. I actually feel like I'm in a warm little bubble when I wear this.

I love the scent, the bottle is very elegant and it's not expensive at all. The only thing I dislike about this perfume, is the performance. After 1-2 hours it's almost gone. And this is the intense version!

MKT_Scent

Smells like bubblegum. Incredibly headache inducing. To be more precise, it smells like when you walk to a store and sniff all of the bubblegums that want to resemble real fruit but end up smelling synthetic and sharp. About the latter, you see when you smell something and it hurts (?) your nose? That you feel the smell up your brain (?) imagine smelling menthol or ammonia (this perfume does not smell like menthol or ammonia, it’s so you can picture what I am referring to). Well, this perfume has something that physically causes this reaction in my nose and causes a sharp “pain” in the side of my head. If anyone can explain how/why this happens with some perfumes I’ll be really grateful!!

Silvuna

This is a lovely delicate sweet scent, like soft powdery marshmallows, but at the same time deep and sensual, like a smooth velvet. Really good for a romantic night out or when you want to feel cosy and elegant, it's around you like a velvet scarf.

I tried hard to love this scent ... i love marshmallow note its fruity warm scent but gives me a feeling of 90's ..if 90's has a smell it would be d&g intense ...
For me its an old makeup smell nothing more...i want to smell like this but with a modern twist i think this what the perfume lacks

Nanalvzpink

This is so far from a linear fragrance. Wow! I don’t think Dolce & Gabbana has ever done this to me. I was really excited for the bubble gum note and at first I thought I was going to be disappointed. At first I only smelled the orange blossom on me, after 10 minutes the bubble gum scent that everyone mentions started to make an entrance, this is when I got happy.

This one gets soft really fast. But it’s cute!

hola gigi

This is a skin scent. How dare it be labeled "intense". It's been frequently compared to Love Don't Be Shy, but once it's applied to the skin the performance doesn't come close!

IVIL

I would call it a hidden gem! Long time ago I drifted from D&G perfumes and I was surprised that this one caught my attention. I tried it out of a boredom to see how some “older” editions smell like and I was surprised so much that few days after I bought a bottle. I agree very much with everyone in the comments section who says that this can be either a young girl date night perfume or a grown-up woman during the colder weather perfume to wear. Blend of marshmallows and sandal wood is a genius touch, giving the perfumes sweet sensual tone without making it heavy, gourmand or edgy. Thanks to its fresh notes you can easily wear it during the day and have that sexy sensual woman feeling. I get lot of compliments on this one and it nicely sticks to your skin, yet has longevity.

Beanie1991

I really like this but it's missing the creamy vanilla in the dry down that the original has which I love and the sweetness that the raspberry also provides in the opening of the original as well. It does last longer and is stronger than the original.

JuicyJes

4+ sprays, and this lasts a pretty long time on me. Much longer than the original, but I go anosmic to the marshmallow in this after about 2 hours, so I'm betting I don't really know how much the original lasts as it is sweeter and lighter than this. It is a very pretty and feminine white floral marshmallow with a teeny touch of sandalwood. The first time I sprayed the original, I was floored by how pretty it is on me compared to a test strip but disappointed with the longevity. This is the answer to that for me. I will have to ask people if they can smell it to figure out if it has any sillage. Perfect for a date imo and makes me feel so pretty. Absolute knockout.

I am wondering how I didn't review this perfume yet. My mother, like most of yours must have used at least once D&G Light Blue, mine in a way it's her signature scent or how my olfactory system decodes it.

Now, D&G Pour Femme Intense is one she tried once and was love from first sniff. Yes, it's unique and simple like most of the perfumes of the house. I really hope it's not discontinued as nowadays it's not that easy to be found. New perfumes, new rules, ingredients restrictions etc. I don't believe in perfumes and seasons but Pour Femme Intense should be used during colder or cool temperatures. Light blue is the angel where Pour Femme Intense (burgundy color) the devil?

No, not at all, but Pour Femme Intense knows what she wants. It has the main 'feminine' star note of orange blossom that sounds very generic but if you blend it correctly you can have magic results. (see LVEB-Lancome or Poison Girl EDP-Dior) It's a gourdmandise perfume that starts with the citrus freshness giving a pleasurable feeling and then very fast it becomes a fluffy hug, the "marshmallow effect". I sounds a bit 'too young' but it's so feminine and passionate in a way I could even call it classy. Sandalwood as a base gives this powdery touch but you can still smell some orangie-marshmallowish-creamy white flower touch to it. If you use it lightly and you're mature/well dressed enough, I am sure you're gonna burn some hearts the same way fire acts on a marshmallow. Great lasting power & sillage, what else?

Nourhan

It reminds me of fantasy by Britney spears, but it just lasts more than fantasy.
They literally share the same DNA! The cupcake, vanilla and marshmallow notes. So if you have fantasy, but want a perfume with more sillage and longevity, then buy this one

takema

There is a beautiful maturity to this fragrance. It evokes a strong, sexy grown woman. There is a richness that never feels heavy. The marshmallow, which I only detect once the fragrance has dried on the skin, gives the fragrance a fluffiness and light sweetness. The dominant note I get, is the orange blossom, especially in the sillage. The orange blossom is reminiscent of that in Armani Code. The marshmallow is most noticeable close to the skin.

The original Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme is brighter and fruitier with a more pronounced marshmallow note. The Intense is deeper, smoother and sexier. I don't notice a difference in performance between the two. I could smell it on myself all day and feel like I am walking around in the most beautiful fluffy cloud. It leaves a beautiful trail and is noticeable from at least a couple feet away. With light application (1-3 sprays), I didn't get great performance. But a more generous application (5-6 sprays) made this fragrance a strong performer. I think overspraying would become overwhelming and unpleasant and you may lose the beautifl fluffy airiness that makes it so alluring.
My favourite time to wear this is in the fall, but I feel it would make a beautiful nighttime fragrance any time of year. I have worn this on a summer night and it never became cloying and sickly. It has enough strength and depth to withstand colder weather as well.
This fragrance is often found at a good discount and I think it's a steal. It's one I would pay retail for if I ever need to replace my bottle.

The deep red of the bottle matches the fragrance quite well. It's gives that sensual and mysterious vibe that tells you what to expect from this fragrance.

Irinka. K

This smells delicious. Very sweet and very comforting. I bought it before Dolce Gabbana became problematic and it's one of the few perfumes that I re-bought.

Dragonweengs

I was surprised by the opening of neroli and green mandarin freshness since I thought it would be a deeper fragrance, but at the same time they’re popular notes for D&G. It’s so creamy and soft. It’s not overly sweet, the marshmallow and sandalwood makes it creamy. It's light enough that it might be good all year.
It went from a like to a 😍!
It reminds me of Hypnotic Poison EDT (new formula) dry down. I’m still testing to see if it’s worth repurchasing over Hypnotic Poison or having both.

gourmandnotes

After three years of having this in my perfume cabinet, I have really come to enjoy this quiet seductress. Pour Femme Intense does not grab you by the arms the way major cult-status Love by Kilian & PdM's Oriana does with their instant, forceful likeability (or dislikeability) in their all proclaimed marshmallowy goddess-ness, but she is, in a few words, a curiously sophisticated gourmand. Operate word, sophisticated. She is neither nor; she is both the gourmand coquette and the venusian, narcotic floral. Think Ariana Grande's duet with the Weeknd.

Definitely for the woman who, like herself, is a mystery teetering on curiosity and allure.

_flowersandmusk

This perfume is so sexy, very Florida orange debutant chic. I wish more of the marshmallow note came out on my skin, it is more so floral and a bit green on me. Still a fan and I’m glad I got the cute sample sizez

Scandipersian

For the first time wearing this outside I was hit and mesmerized by a big whift of aromatic mandarine peel (what must be the green mandarine) 🍊 🍊 🍊 must be an ode to the designer duo’s passion for Sicily. Before I was mostly getting the pillowy marshmallow sweetness.. Now i get the entire range.
This is slowly growing on me

Christinageor10

This is a very sexy fragrance! The opening is bright and floral, but the marshmallow and sandalwood are present throughout the wear, keeping this fragrance grounded and sultry. The tuberose and neroli make this very intoxicating. Projection is a bit more intimate, but I receive compliments from men every time I wear this. I would wear this for a date night where you might be sitting closer to your date, for myself daily, or an evening out with friends. I feel like a beautiful and sexy woman when I wear this. Definitely full bottle worthy and 9.5/10 😍❤

laluunaaa

My first perfume and I love them so much. I remember i was looking for something special in the store and when i found this i thought i found myself (MY SOUL MAYBE) in the bottle. LOVE THEM! Now im looking for something else/new, and still use this one as a reference!

ArtByLeia

Admittedly this is EXTREMELY faint on me, to me personally it's almost hard to smell compare to other perfumes I have, however it still lasts on me quite a bit! In the beginning it kinda just smelled generic and disappointing to me, but when I smelled it a second, third and fourth time, I really started registering the marshmallow and sandalwood notes. It's very comforting and very 'fluffy'!
Edit half a year later - I love it so much more now than I did before. This is definitely one of those that get better the more sensitive you get to it.

mikacorra247

Smelling it right from the bottle, it smells like baby wipes. But honestly, this perfume blooms on the skin. Sweet marshmallow and woody scent. Too bad that it doesn't last.

Controlledbyscent31

Wow I'm so happy I have discovered this 😍 I own a 50ml of ysl manifesto edp from its first release that I am so scared to use as it's discontinued and to find that this is basically the same, winner!
I know I can get my fix other ways when manifesto becomes crazy prices I know I can dupe it well, it's definitely lighter then the edp ysl but still I will buy this just as a back up lighter version. One happy lady 💕

clairesque

Wow... love at first sniff. A warm, powdery marshmallow cloud. So soft and cozy, nothing cloying or offensive. I can be touchy about sweet fragrances as well as neroli, but everything about this fragrance just WORKS. It's cuddly, yet also sophisticated enough for a night out. Could be too heavy for warm weather. Pretty linear.

Compared to the original Pour Femme, this is heavier, more powdery, with none of the raspberry.

laneyckelly

I've walked into Sephora multiple times in the past week for the sole purpose of spraying this on and leaving. The comfort this brings me is ridiculous. Mature and feminine with refined sweetness. This is on the drier side of powdery. It's the comfort of a warm hug from the all-knowing Italian aunt everyone wants or has. I could see myself wearing this all year round. I need to get my hands on a bottle. I agree with the previous review that it is unique and easy to wear.

unicajiha_01

I've bought this one today and I must say it smells like fabric conditioner?
Initially when I sprayed it in sephora I was mesmerized but when I realized that it smell like a detergent my hope went down! I tried it going outside and now I feel it really smell like a flower? I cannot say it smells like marshmallow. The scent is ok not a scent that I love. The smell is unique and light easy to wear.

Hunnynpink

Powdery slightly sweet fruity citrus and wood on my skin... animalic baby wipes. vibes like Prada la femme intense

SophiaG

It took a little while for me to warm up to this - at first, it was just a bland, sweet fragrance that didn't really strike me in any way. But each time I wear it, I like it more and more. It's still very sweet (the marshmallow is the star), but it is so delicate and floral underneath the powdered sugar that it really elevates any scenario in which I wear it.
I understand why people like to wear this in the winter - it does give very sweet and cuddly vibes - but my personal favorite time to wear it is on warm sunny days, spritzed over the top of a white sundress. I am also lucky enough to get excellent performance with this fragrance - it sticks around all day, and I can even smell it on my clothes later in the week. The orange blossom is fresh enough to keep it from excessively sweet gourmand territory, and it stays elegant all day. Big love.

icylady

This is a beautiful fragrance definitely a feminine one. It's sweet it's woody it's powdery it's floral it has everything you're looking for. Sweetness is not overpowering to me it does not annoy me.
It's definitely for colder weather I made the mistake to wear it in summer I couldn't even enjoy the fragrance.
This would be suitable for 20+ year olds.
I imagine an elegant woman sitting by the fireside wearing this.
The only downside is it does not last long I wished it did:(
Also I love the bottle and the velvet packaging!

Algee

If there is such a thing in a bottle this is one of them Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme Intense. It's never been a strong scent maybe that's why this works but it's not a skin scent either. it's offbeat and sexy. It is has a marshmallow raspberry vibe but best part is the warm, earthy woody @ the dry. It will get u reactions in a strange way. If u can find the real or an older batch. GET it 🧧

Saffron

I really really like this one! It's not an absolutely miraculous work of art, but it is sweet and sexy in a curled up with a blanket in front of a fire on a cold Winters night sort of way.
It's delicious. On me it's all Marshmallows and Sandalwood with a suggestion of brandy.
It makes no sense, but there is something in the fragrance that makes me feel a bit uneasy. Vulnerable.
Perhaps I'd add a good horror movie to my image of a sexy evening on the couch.

Virgo92093!

This smells a lot like root beer. Blind bought it because I couldn’t get my hands on the original . - the original has more of a fruity note that breaks about the heavy sugar/root beer smell and makes it perfect . This smells really similar to Dior hypnotic poison.

Scandipersian

Softly sweet, but not powdery on me. I can only detect marshmallow and white flowers (except tuberose) in this. On my skin the white flowers develop over time and frag gets less sweet, on my hair and clothes however it stays on very sweet and fluffy 🍡🍧🍦
I had the very original Dolce&Gabbana pour femme, unfortunately this is not similar at all - that one was more complex, both powdery, soapy, orangy and aldehydes but done oh so well... intoxicating! It was also super expensive for a teenager, somehow Dolce&Gabbana had priced their signature frag higher than any other designer. I am referring to the one with red cap and an stunning red velvet box.
Also this one comes in a beautiful velvet box in a very rich deep color, only wish the fragrance too was more femme fatale and less girly 💃

alliesunshine

I’m having a difficult time with this one. While I am happy with the scent, it’s almost too ‘well blended’ because all the notes end up coming together as a soft sweet scent that doesn’t have any identity. I can’t pin point any of the notes, even the marshmallow note is not detectable. Instead the marshmallow’s role is an overall sweet and powdery veil over the entire fragrance but again, not really identifiable as marshmallow if that makes sense. I think if you’ve smelled this you’ll understand what I am saying. Now, none of this is particularly a bad thing however for me it was a little bit of a let down because the notes sounded so lovely and not being able to smell or experience the performance of them is a little disappointing. Ultimately the fragrance that this perfume delivers is pleasant and I don’t see anyone not liking it.

What is the biggest let down for me is the performance. It is almost instantly a skin scent. Projection is almost non existent and longevity is less than 1 hour on skin and 2 hours on clothing. I really am wondering if I got a bad batch or something because the reviews on this one have been consistently overwhelmingly good. I also wonder if my nose just cannot smell this one, because I did ask my partner if he could even smell me and to my surprise he said he could and that it was a pretty powerful scent.

To me, this perfume is a super soft and sweet aura that lightly glows around you and is best as a bedtime scent or a cuddling scent as only those very close to you will be able to smell it. It might be a powerful scent but only up close. The perfume is lovely but preforms (on my skin at least) worse than a body spray and this is a EDP. Food for thought.

Jacklyn's Perfumery

So good. This is a gorgeous scent..a sophisticated more enhanced version of the original but not as powdery fuzzy as the original..a more dense liquified version...such a nice marshmallow orange blossom perfume that feels like early 2000's. Almost bubblegum like sweet but a really sophisticated way to do marshmallow. And the scent cloud is nice and not too much about a bit above average. I think I miss the powderiness of the original with the marshmallow more..although this has a little bit of powderiness... but I love that this is stronger on the marshmallow scent. And I like that they didn't deviate too far from the original too. The fruitiness mixes with the marshmallow to make a red berry creamy scent.

LikeButter

I got myself a full bottle of this at the end of 2020 on a random Sephora trip. It was my only Sephora trip of 2020 and I was feeling quite unsteady/anxious.

This fragrance is both deep and soft - it’s been such a comforting and beautiful pick-me-up during the pandemic. I’m not the biggest fan of vanilla, but this marshmallow + vanilla combo is absolutely rich. Organic. Whole Foods money rich. No stimulus check here.

The brighter notes are so well blended. It’s kind of unfair.

On me, this is a super special, understated yet impressive scent. Pour Femme Intense is what the Hugo Boss feminine scents aim for. AG Cloud also gives marshmallow + vanilla but not like this. Nope.

I’m kind of glad this one isn’t as common as other fruity florals. Having said that, it is yet another designer fruity floral fragrance. Since my collection doesn’t have many in this category, I really cherish and enjoy Pour Femme Intense.

gourmandnotes

There is a strong presence of a raspberry/berry under tone, when in combination together with the neroli, orange blossom, and bubblegummy tuberose, creates this red syrupy, floral-marshmallow vibe that I suppose is the "intensity" in Pour Femme Intense. The marshmallow note here isn't the densely caramelized, vanillic, sugar marshmallow that Kilian Love has... it's more of a cerebral marshmallow, a pillowy white musk. Not sure why the red fruit note is inconspicuously missing in the notes pyramid but the red fruit note is there, just as it's there in the original Pour Femme. With that said, this is a berried, syrupy fruity-floral "marshmallow". And despite what the Intensity may tell you, it's actually light. Perhaps best for summer nights, not for an autumn or winter nights.

On my skin, it lingers as a cozy skin scent and performs with mild projection. I'm sure people will smell you within proximity, but it's a bit of a coy, low-laying seductress. Would I call her Intense? Probably not.

Alinany

I AM OBSESSED! Going through 100 ml bottles like its nothing!! This and the original I bought 5 bottles in 2 months!!! SOMEONE STOP ME! My bank account is crying! IT IS ADDICTIVE, i pretty much bath in this perfume. So alluring, cant stop smelling myself!
Yes it doesnt last long but it is so good. It is everything I want in a perfume, little sweet, little powdery and soft. Doesnt give me any headaches which is a plus. So easy to wear, anytime any day. I love it, can you tell haha

EmilyRo2e

This, along with the original Pour Femme, is a beautiful scent. I definitely get the orange blossom in the opening, then it goes to the same sweet powder of the original. Definitely not a baby powder, more marhsmallowy candy wrapper. At least, that's how it translates on my skin. It really it a kicked-up, slightly fruity version of Pour Femme. This also layers really well with Love Don't be Shy by Kilian.

Nikitaxyz

Omggg why did no one mention it smells E X A C T L Y like violet blossom from ZARA👀😂

star~kitty

This is really nice. First spray smells oddly like paint, but don’t let it scare you. It turns very sweet; i'm guessing it's the orange blossom and marshmallow. Wasn’t sure i would like it because i didn't really care for The Only One, but this is good.

PepePurFume

Every single time I wear this, my 21 year old mini-me daughter compliments me. I need to hide it because she helps herself to all my loves. Lol... She’s definitely following in my footsteps. Getting back to review— This scent totally amazes me! It’s a bit understated, underrated possibly, but Hallelujah—every time I wear it, I get sweet, marshmallow wafts surrounding me that is simply delicious yet elegant. I absolutely adore this scent. — Yes it’s sweet. — Yes it’s more of a skin scent — but it’s a perfect go-to scent for any occasion. Seriously! In my opinion, it can be worn casually or elegantly. It leans more gourmand, so if that’s what you’re after, go get her! I’m definitely purchasing another bottle. MmmMarshmallow, sweetie goodness!!!

Danifresh

I have been using my tester of Kilian's 'Love' more frequently and this led me to buy a small bottle of D

rosey_nosey

This is a very light and pleasantly sweet scent. On my skin I pick up mostly marshmallow and orange blossom. I blind bought this because of the neroli note (one of my favorite notes), but it does not show up much on me. Don't even bother spraying this on your clothing for more projection, that's a waste. It's a more intimate scent for cuddling with bae. If you plan on wearing this out bring some with you, because you will need to refresh after about 3-4 hours. I am happy to have it and plan to wear it mostly to work. Side note: this smells amazing with TF tabacoo oud.

sweryn

This smells like an orange-flavored candy cane. The neroli note combines beautifully with the marshmallow to create a sweet and cozy scent. I can imagine wearing this during the colder months with a big, fluffy coat. It's a very pleasant smell and a huge like for me.
However, it has zero projection and it turns into a skin-scent within just a few minutes. It lasts around 1 or 2 hours on the skin, then it fades away.

It reminds me of Love by Kilian, which is not surprising as both have a marshmallow, neroli, and orange blossom note, but I would say this smells more orangey while the Kilian one is sweeter and softer.

win22

The first time I sampled this at a beauty store I was taken completely. I did buy myself a bottle and despite its dismal performance I really still did love it. I'm now on my second bottle and I doubt that I will purchase it ever again. The use of 'intense' is thoroughly misleading, first of all. This fragrance barely lasts 3 hours when I apply it. While it's sweet and woody and divine on my skin, I feel that the performance lets it down.

CompassionLoveWisdom

Ok, first of all, I would like to open this review with a question. What kind of drug is being used by those saying this one is intense and long lasting, cause I want me some of that stuff? This neither lasts nor projects. And it has nothing to do with skin chemistry, all the scents that are known to last long, last long on my skin too. Lasting power of this one is an hour and a half tops, projection is non-existent. This scent could be enjoyed only by those whom you are making out with, and he had to be all over you, I mean really getting in there. So, we have covered that. There are reviews from honest members of this community saying this one has bad performance, such comments and people are welcome here. I bought the scent because I liked the bottle and I secretly hoped this one has better performance. The scent itself is faint sandalwood and some sweetness reminiscent of marshmallow.

Second thing, if however you like the scent, regardless how fleeting it may be, go and buy Armaf Italiano Donna, that is the exact same fragrance (I know because I have them both and compared them side by side) except this one last about 3 hours, however projection is also very weak. I bought this one first, but, as I already said, I hoped D&G has better performance so I bought it too, and because I am a snob and want to have nice bottle from a designer house :) And Armaf is much, much cheaper than this one. I like the Armaf's drydown better, it's creamier.

Please, if you intend on leaving your review here, try describing the longevity, projection and how the perfume develops, although this part will depend on your skin chemistry. Comments like, 'oh, this one's nice', 'I love it', etc. are not helpful. I buy scents blindly based on reviews here, because I kinda hate going out and testing them and because financially I can afford it. But there are people out there who have to save for months to gift themselves their favorite perfume and who would benefit from an honest review.

Aliste

This is now my new favorite! I have too many for a certified signature scent, but this one will be picked up quite often! Intense, but not overpowering. This is beautiful!

SGArt

I blind bought this after seeing rave reviews online and boy was I disappointed. So many influencers described this as "expensive smelling, elegantly sweet, perfect for a classy evening, etc..." and my expectations just soared to the roof. When I got this I immediately sprayed it on my wrist and was hit by a cloud of sweetness. I waited for the dry down and it got a little bit mature smelling (which was acceptable) but did not develop to something even remotely close to an elegant scent. After a short walk with my daughter, the scent completely disappeared! I was so shocked at how fast the scent disappeared! This is the weakest performance i've gotten from a perfume so far considering this is the intense version. Maybe the chemistry just doesn't agree with me. This is sadly a NO.

Полина.Цекова

I love this one so much! I don`t know how marshmallow smells - I suppose it is sticky sweet candy which I would probably hate. I and I imagine all those Ariana Grande poisonous smells. But I love Intense - warm and soft projection and it lasts like forever on me with just couple of sprays. Maybe I feel this more like a woody fragrance but there is definitely some sweet intoxicating dark side of it.

alexisdaniellexo

This was a disappointment :( I was expecting a sweet, marshmallow fragrance with some woody sandalwood. Total opposite. This is very woody and has a powdery background (which is possibly the marshmallow). I've been wanting to try Pour Femme for a while so I'm hoping it lives up to the sweetness that I prefer.

Paula73

This is not sweet at all on my skin but instead is quite sharp.
I don't hate it but it's not at all what I was expecting and I'm glad I only got a mini.

Perfumeash

Blind bought it after reading so many amazing reviews about this one. I hate it. Its headache inducing 90s style sweet screechy scent which smells like BO. Definitely a pass for me.

Jessica_Jones

Definitely just like the original but much stronger and I LOVE IT

Kots_Tanya

To me its a little softer less sweet a bit powdery version of EDP. They are quit similar, but i think i prefer the intense version. Its like a noir version and not intense, everytime I see intense it makes me think it will be stronger and louder but its definitely not. The marshmallow sweetness with sandalwood and orange blossom. I dont smell tuberose. It sets on the skin very beautifully and performance is quite good too. I like the scent and love wearing it to bed. Im surprised heliotrope is not listed, because i smell some powderiness that makes me think of heliotrope.
Also reminds me a lot of Princess by Kilian.

Rozalina

Both D & G Pour Femme and Pour Femme Intense are hailed as great marshmallow-centered fragrances, but I barely get any marshmallow at all. This is definitely more of a soapy, woody floral. On my skin, I get some marshmallow fluff in the beginning but after a while it’s just bubble gummy tuberose, which is fine but not what I’m looking for in a marshmallow perfume.

Edit: trying it again and this is straight up horrifying, worse than I thought. Where is the marshmallow? All I get is dirty bubblegum floral from the neroli and tuberose.

Whify

Very similar to its sweet, delicate sister scent, Pour Femme EDP. The intense version is slightly woodier in the dry down but it retains the fluffy, sugary aspect of the original. Again, longevity and sillage are not strong points but I don't mind respraying when it smells this good.

DarlingNikki

If not for the horrible (to me) orange blossom and neroli, this would be a holy grail scent for me. I despise orange blossom and neroli and of course, perfumers put it in nearly every feminine marketed scent... *eye roll and heavy sigh*

Nursemike

Really lovely and sweet but not overly so. No patchouli. Soft scent, one you can layer with or wear alone. Finding this works very well with my ouds and woody fragrances. I am on my third repurchase for myself. I wear Intenso from time to time and wondered what the one meant for women smelt like, and I got hooked in.

evanescense909

Good performance yet cloying. This will make you smell like an old Victorian lady. Too sweet, too heavy

chinook

D&G Pour Femme Intense is a sweet almond scent. In combination with strong tuberose and other white flowers, it gives impression of fluffy powdery marshmallows right out of the plastic bag. It’s sweet but not to the point that it makes my stomach turn. It’s very sensual. I’d say it’s good for nights in hot weather or daytime in cold weather. I never tried the version that’s not Intense. This version definitely has a pretty heavy projection. A little goes a long way. Longevity is several hours.

D3G

I use to love it, today just like. Maybe cause I've being wearing a lot another one that's similar and sweet: excites but tires? As for "the one" I reviewed yesterday. Classics are nice but one expect more from expensive brands?

Devved

Smells like box hair dye to me, not a bad scent but i feel like the longevity sucks...I`m not sure... nothing to write about this one, nothing mind blowing.

RachelSeun

If you own the original, I would say owning Pour Femme Intense would be redundant as they both smell very similar. Both fragrances are powdery, sweet white florals - the intense version just appears a little more woody in the dry down. Pour Femme and Pour Femme Intense last the same amount of time and project moderately well and both layer beautifully with other gourmand fragrances. I usually wear this one with Elie Saab's Girl of Now and receive compliments when I do!

Ashlowery14

I love the smell of this, it’s clean but also marshmallows lol. It’s a safe every day scent that could be worn to the office because it is not long lasting and does not really project. I would call this a skin scent which is somewhat disappointing considering the price and that this is called the “intense” version. I do not find this lasts more than a couple of hours unless I really over spray myself or reapply throughout the day, which is so sad because the scent is lovely! I feel this is a safe blind buy since it’s just a basic clean/sweet fragrance, nothing that would be off putting about this.

Hurricane_Hilda

Smells like a marshmallow cloys I love the scent way better than the original BUT I have to say for an intense version this is kind of weak. I don’t own the bottle just a sample travel size I want to purchase this but for the price tag it’s way to light for me... and this is an intense version at that. It’s still a skin scent to me anyway perfect for bed

sonuuu

I got this thinking it will have a warm sweet vibe but it smells like cough syrup. Definitely smell the marshmallows but has a medicinal scent to it. Glad I got this in travel size.

Adyzibee

What's the main difference between the original and this ? cause I really wanna try this

diaanz81

To me this is a sweet, warm, comforting and sexy fragrance. The most dominant notes are tuberose, marshmallow and sandalwood on me. This was my favorite fragrance until Si Fiori took it's place but definitely still in my top 5 still. Highly recommend!

Amascent

This is a sweet marshmallow white floral orange masterpiece. It opens up orangy and a little spicy but sweet. In the first 10 min following the initial spray, it turns a bit sour/dirty smelling. neroli can get this way sometimes but it only lasts for a few min then its perfectly blended white florals with marshmallow and some warm depth from the sandalwood. Its divine, great all day lasting power on me. Its office and day appropriate, not too heavy, not too sweet, not too dark, its just great. Love this and the original, they are similar and both equally great with their own personalities.

Flacon-de-Bonheur

Very disappointed. On me, it is so light and disappears real fast. I much prefer the original Pour Femme.

Miasha

This fragrance is very soft. At first, I felt that it was TOO soft, and that it only smelled like marshmallows, but after trying for a few days, I realized that there is a lot more to it, and that it is very longlasting. It also projects more than I thought. Sometimes I spray this all over a soft jumper or cardigan, or my morning gown, and it stays on, so soft and smooth and wonderful, all the way till I wash it. And then I can spray my favourite newly washed knitted dress and hang it in my wardrobe, to scent it all so heavenly.
Since I got to know this modest little beauty, I feel the musc and the sandalwood very much. Yes, it is still marshmallows or spun sugar, but not too much so. To myself this is very cozy and warm, but I think the man of my dreams would find this very sexy on me. Feels like angora or cashmere.

PS: This was a blind buy, one of my very best. As I said, at first I did not realize that, I even was a bit angry at myself because I bought a big bottle, only based by a quick sniff 8 years earlier!! But it was really worth it. Will definitely repurchase!

LionsTigersBearsOhMy

Starts off soapy but quickly morphs into a powdery floral. The soapiness dies down very quickly. It is first and foremost a white floral and is not very sweet. I don't get much marshmallow or sandalwood here. Longevity is so-so.

TexasOrangeBlossom

Hmm, have I reviewed this yet? I know I have reviewed the others. Between the D&G Pour Femme and the Intense, I prefer the Intense. Although, I am still in conflict about both of them because I still miss the original ‘90’s version (red cap, yellow juice). It was something special. Sigh. Such is life of a perfume lover.
This one is so comfy and cozy. I don’t love sugar sweet perfumes, but this one has enough citrus and wood to lighten things up. It’s a great vanilla fragrance without being too much vanilla. It lasts a very long time on my skin and clothes. I can usually smell it on my skin 8-10 hours later. Longer on my clothes. This is a great winter scarf scent. Will I repurchase it once my bottle is finished? Probably not.

Jasmindee

Finally got my hands on this perfume after being curious about the hype. I've also gifted a bottle for my mother for christmas, so I hope she likes it as much as I do.

I am so obsessed with the packaging. This perfume is so elegant. The velvet box and stunning glass bottle scream opulent. I haven't even thrown the box away as I love the overall aesthetic.

The opening blast is so perfect, sweet fluffy marshmallows, soft vanilla and pretty flowers. It settles into soft orange blossom mingled with the gardenia. I usually HATE gardenia scents, they never sit right with my chemistry, but this one? This one is just lovely.

I imagine a woman wearing this in a black turtleneck sweater with a cream satin skirt, gliding through a party and talking to everyone with her soft, feminine voice. She is adored, loved and everyone laughs with her. You just want to be next to her all the time.

I wish the opening lasted longer, but maybe that's just me. I'm 25 and feel mature and sophisticated wearing this lovely scent.

LisIrishFleur

Nice. Very very nice
Okay, I kept hearing, seeing, and reading the hype.
You were ALL right. Ok? You all win. This is a lovely perfume.
I bow my niche-juice, loving heart to the mainstream. To that initial blast of orange flowers, followed by that vanilla and oh my that touch of marshmallow. Cute touch there D&G. But mainly, I bow my head to that creamy sandalwood.
Damn. Well done. Well done.
Silage is good.
Longevity is well above average. Apparently, everyone can still smell me (the perfume) even when I no longer can, and after I leave the room.
Now, My only real issue? My little sister (of a certain age) who NEVER EVER wore or wears perfume wants a bottle for Christmas.
See what happens when you smell great?

This perfume is nice and elegant, but a little too sweet for my taste. I probably will not be reaching out for it too much. It is a cozy perfume, it made fell like I just want to cuddle in a PJ and go to bed after wearing it. I find it a little too sweet for me to wear alone, I will have to mix it with something green. I have been experimenting a little bit with this one, I mixed it with Kelly Caleche - Hermes and the two together made it a little easier to wear.
Edit: Although this was a strong like for me, I gave it to someone who was in love with it more than I was. Hopefully she is enjoying it.

hippielady67

Wow.
After reading reviews on this for a few years. I decided to buy a 1.6 oz bottle.
Everyone is right.
Its REALLY pretty.

BlackAmberMoon

Smelled this today for the first time and was transported to heaven. I own many perfumes and smell them all, but this...oh my god. As close to a signature scent as I've ever come.

It reminds me of several favorites --Hypnotic Poison, Trouble by Boucheron, Fracas--it's as if Intense extracted all of what I love from these fragrances and left out what I don't like to create a sent with perfect harmony. It's "me" in a bottle.

The indolic tuberose and neroli weave seductively through the sweet sandalwood for hours. No sharp edges, just lush, sexy smoothness. I'd better hoard it before it's discontinued!

irenad87

this purfume is like a warm cashmere shawl. cozy and elegant. perfect for colder months.

Jacquis

Dolce and Gabbana Intense Pour Femme is a light, delicately sweetened orange perfume. This seems to be the orange answer to those who do not really enjoy the more lemon approach of D&G Light Blue. I appreciate this orange version much more.

D&G Intense pour femme is a light fruity floral which is perfect for spring/summer. I do not find this to be dark nor intense. Appropriate for work or everyday wear. In summer this does not smell too sweet. Just pleasant. Longevity is longer than your typical summer scent.

Update: The yummy tuberose blooms in 90 degree weather. Very nice. On cloudy, gloomy, cooler days, I overspray this and it becomes a very nice sweet treat.

louiee

The sandalwood in this one... OMG

Velvety sandalwood, fluffy marsmallows, subtle smelling neroli in a perfect blended creamy tuberose.

No need to say I am in love. Loved the original version, duble love the intense one. The intense is more serious adult than the original flirty rasberry.

Sophisticated, classy just a really sexy and confindent scent.

Longevity is amazing and silage is a perfect moderate on me.

Cant stop sniffing myself when I wear it.
Perfect for autumn and winter.

minizelda

Velvety, classy.

Very lady-like to my nose. Independant and confident, "she" walks chin up. She's a warm, open arms kind of woman. She keeps designer scarves in her purse and her gel liner is sharper than knives. You want to hug her forever, comforting and warm, you never want to let go.

socorrosouza

This is one of my favorite perfumes, tuberose plus marshmallow combining into the creamiest scent. I want to eat the perfume, it is so scrumptious in its flowery creaminess. Lasts for 5/6 hours with moderate to light sillage (a heavy sillage would detract, because its creaminess would be excessive). On my skin I don't think it resembles Pour Femme, that has a harsh raspberry (on me) and is not so creamy.

Mrswallflower

This was a blind buy but I got lucky because it smells so wonderful to me. First spray smells like a powdery candy like smarties. But it dries down softer and like a sweet skin scent. I think any age could wear this. Very inoffensive but not boring or generic smelling. A light sweet powdery scent for any occasion.

leialuv90

I'm inlove with this scent, funny because the initial spray smelled of gummy candy or what I thought was skittles. The dry down was so nice and creamy and really nice on me. I didn't think I would like it cause of the sweet smell at the beginning (not a fan of candy scents) but this was so luscious and I couldn't pass it by. Had to get it. Pretty alluring scent.

Annabear

Although this is listed as sweet, the sweetness is presented in a sumptuous creamy style, like a pillowy marshmallow. To that end, it’s lacking that screechy sugar hit so prevalent in many fragrances today, with the neroli, citrus and sandalwood keeping it real.
Not linear, transitions from a juicy opening to a musky powdery finish, and lingers a good 4-6 hours with average to good sillage.
I am going to keep it.

LemonCake

A kind lady at the beauty store convinced me to try this on my skin, and all I can say is thank you, kind lady!

The initial burst feels juicy and floral, but it quickly settles into a silky soft blend of vanilla and sandalwood that lingers elegantly on your skin.

The sweetness is persistent, but it's not that yummy sweetness, it's just sexy sweetness that makes you (or someone else) bury their face in your skin. Actually, I sprayed this one on one arm, and sprayed La Vie Est Belle Intense on the other, so the quiet elegance and maturity of D&G shone even brighter in comparison with that sticky mess!

Despite its relative simplicity and safe formula, I feel like D&G stands out in the world of fruitchoulis and heavy gourmands that are so popular at the moment. Some other reviewer mentioned it, and I think they are right, it smells like the 90s frags, which is a great thing in my opinion.

Edit: A few days later, I tried it side by side with the original Pour Femme, and as some reviewers pointed out, they are almost the same. I would say that the original is slightly sweeter and juicier, while this flanker is a bit calmer and more powdery, especially in the drydown. I prefer the flanker, though I would be fine with wearing the original as well.

masako_30

Shadowy, intensely velvety, a very different perfume from all those I've had so far.
Pour Femme Intense is velvet we forget we're just wearing, until we casually touch it on, in a day, and this touch is sublime.
It happens for a moment I no longer feel it. Then it reappears as instants of woolly presence.
Softly longlasting, velvety beauty water.
These drops smell like marshmallows with a touch of sandalwood, not exactly the usual ones eaten at merry-go-round, carousel festivals, therefore not completely edible for me. Lots of stars!

Mbrock

I dont see any difference between this & the regular. I didnt smell them side by side but its only been a month or two since I had the original. It smells very good, I love marshmallow in perfumes & it is very dominant in this perfume. Has good sillage & longevity.

AHeartLikeMine

I sniffed this in the store without looking up the notes beforehand. Maybe I'm crazy, but to me, this smells exactly like grape-flavored fruit gummy snacks. I'm not necessarily saying that's a bad thing, but it very much took me aback. I'll have to sample it some more to see how it wears on skin.

DarlingNikki

Without the orange blossom and neroli this would be signature scent worthy for me. *sigh*

katrinawhitney

This is the most nostalgic perfume to me. It smells identical to when I was young and in beauty pageants. Vacant rooms in old buildings, smell of tons of makeup and hairspray (particularly the Aussie brand) = this perfume to my nose. Its not a bad thing at all, it actually makes me keep wanting to sniff my arm over and over again. However, it's not quite the thing I would want in my collection. Its more so something I'll probably spritz when I pass it in the store just to be amazed at the nostalgia.

cinnakitty

Waaaaaaah. Holy moly.
First sniff at the decant... yeah ok... spray on..
What the everloving cumin curry leaf spicy monster is this?
Marshmallow you say?
Marshmallow madras??!
Get it off!!! Ugh. Just no. There’s something there that’s nice but it’s suffocating in spices.
Sorry D&G

Contessa01

I love this, much more than the original of this fragrance. It is rare I like a flanker more so than the original and I don't know if it is just me but I feel a lot of work went in to making this fragrance unique and special. So I am surprised it hasn't been popular. I think it probably got overlooked unfortunately. I would highly recommend trying to grab a bottle of this hidden gem. It is very different to the original version (not the original red cap from the 90's but the re-release) and a lot more sophisticated. It is sweet but the woodsy notes add a beautiful balance without making it too woodsy and preventing it from being too sweet. I guess it reminds me a bit of Gucci in the purple bottle; it has a similar vibe to it. It's quickly become a favorite for me and sad that it is so hard to find.

socorrosouza

Because smell and taste are closely associated and, in the case of gourmands veeery closely associated. It is a good description and not at all gross.

Sailor Pluto

The woods in this one are much much more prominent than in the original. This one smells more like a harsh woody root beer while the original smells like marshmallows and vanilla. I prefer the original personally.

WildDove

Bubblegum tuberose over sandalwood and vanilla. Sexy as hell. A light, diffuse spray works best.

thechantal

I’m looking for a 5/10ml decant in the UK. Please private message me if you are offering.

liezel1982

THIS one..omw words are failing me to describe it. Its absolutely awesome and hands down my favourite of all. Sweet fluffy cosy sexy! Love it!

rola.asad

THIS fragrance is basically 85% the same of D&G pour femme, I can’t say it is more intense, no need to have both of them, I tend more to pour femme “the original”, as it is more romantic and stays more on ma body!

dglightblue

This smells nice on my teenage son!

lmwimsatt

Might I add that this fragrance works great in the romance department. I wore this on the vacation during which my daughter was conceived. Sorry if that's tmi but it's a testament to its sexiness, if you would

lmwimsatt

This smells a lot like bbw Japanese apple blossom and lotus. I don't really know what a marshmallow is supposed to smells like before it's roasted, so maybe it's in there lol. I used to have this and never knew what was in it except I could easily identify the distinct orange blossom. Bit maybe the marshmallow is what explains the powderiness

SuzanneCA

I recently purchased this lovely fragrance. However, as elegant and stately as it is, I don't think it is worthy of the price tag.

mirenaf

Sweet perfume. Soft, tender, at times elegant, at times too girlish. I don’t get this sexy feeling that most sweet perfumes wear. The bottle is in a beautiful burgundy, but the sensation of the perfume is not that. Cozy, but not sexy.

adelliapranindita

This is a very elegant yet sweet fragrance. The smell very represents the name "intense". Hence, it is perfect for night parties and warm season. Strong, sexy, but still sweet at the same time.

addiehominem

The marshmallow note here translates as the softest, most powdery vanilla I've smelled in a perfume to date. The sandalwood somehow emphasizes the slight tang of an actual marshmallow and balances the gentle sweetness of the vanilla. The white florals are virtually undetectable to my nose, unless one were looking for the buttery note tuberose imparts deep within the base. Intense is a sweet, soft, warm perfume, but as others have said, it's a bit of a misnomer.

riham.mansour

i'am not a fan of sweet perfumes, but this one is amazingggg. it's not a too sweet to cause you headache.however,it smells juicy and very very sexy. It's a warm winter perfume and very suitable for a date.

Iris-Siberica

I had a test of this today in Debenhams. They are selling it at a discounted price just now. Anyway I was not struck on it at all. The discontinued D&G Femme was magnificent. However this one is mediocre. It reminds me of Georgio by Beverly Hills.

peeachediva

I must say, this is a beautiful fragrance! On me it starts out smelling like Christian Dior Poison, which I'm not that fond of, but I'm glad I gave the sample I got a try on my skin. While I don't get the full sweetness that everyone talks about, I get a powdery gentle sweetness.
It's really worth giving it a chance. Ebay has lots of good prices on this stuff. At a store, I tried it, and then got a full bottle for 35.00 on ebay.
I pretty much wear it everyday now.
It lasts about 4-6 hours on me, so I bought some empty roll on dispensers on ebay and put some in there to take to work. Check it out. Give it a chance to dry down on your skin, and see how you like it. Worth a try.

SailorV

I'll put the same review on the sites of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme and Pour Femme Intense. They are so similar to me that I can't write two reviews.

Both are mainly powdery, vanillic marshmallow and tender white florals. Gentle and subtle gourmands everyone with a taste for sweets could wear, tween girls in school the same as grown women at work. The Intense version is not intense at all, the main difference is that the original is more fruity in the beginning due to its raspberry note. The drydown is almost indistinguishable to me. Not exciting, but a soft, nice scent for marshmallow lovers who don't want to smell of cheap bodyspray.

Not for me but I can't imagine why someone would mind someone else wearing one of these.

----------
PS: Ok, apparently some others do find this intense. Weird, I sprayed it on me at least three times and always found it soft. Maybe I can't smell a note in this. I will leave my review that way as this is my honest opinion after testing carefully.

Daria_21

Ohhh I had such high hopes for this one! I have the original Pour Femme and absolutely love it. I was hoping for something with a bit more punch, so blind bought this one off Sephora's website.

First, let me start off by saying that the scent is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful!! Very similar to the original, but with a little more depth. However, where it gets disappointing is in its performance - this has literally zero projection, and even worse, zero staying power. This perfume is anything BUT intense! The original is much stronger, and lasts way longer, than the Intense version. I thought maybe it was just my nose (we all know how we often can't smell a fragrance on ourselves shortly after wearing it), so I asked both my husband and my mum to smell my arm directly, and they both said they smelled something very faint, if at all, and this was not even an hour after spraying two sprays on my skin. They had to press their nose up to my skin to smell anything.

I so wanted to love this, but after trying it one more time and literally dousing myself in it with the same results, it went back to Sephora. If you love the original, stick with the original.

alleycatseyes

Marshmallow, Orange, Neroli blended, this smells like soft honey on my inner elbow for about 4 hours which is where I've tested it for 5 days. Same in the left wrist today the pink juice is a little different. Not so cozy. Lighter sweetness.

Not cheap fruitchouli sick. Not vanilla. Not on me.

I shy away from some very well blended perfumes because they smell trendy or dated. This is neither this can be your signature scent. Like the Creed or Chanel that is correct for you. I do agree with the other reviewer you will be hard pressed to find a hater here.

It's 70 degrees here & this isn't remotely sickening.

Now I don't have the ability to describe scents the way some people here do. I dislike most of the cheap florals & I don't mean $$$ wise, have worked in fragrance & have a basic understanding of what ur paying for. Laughed like hell when one reviewer called a $1500 bottle of Rouge reminiscent of a slaughterhouse because it's animal/animal which is ooooh so so way too much to any slightly discerning nose that didn't even know it was......oh so true...

I am a perfume junkie & I'm highly amused with Tom Ford Blends,

LOVE THAT SALT SCENTS ARE THE NEW IN, &
believe most scents should be retired if they capture a time frame i.e. "New West" tnx Aramis & sry to everyone that won't give up CK ONE & every other 90's fragrance I've been smelling my whole life, with very few exceptions Chanel's, Shalimar, etc...This could be a keeper....

ginnywho

How could I not love this one since it was given to me as a Christmas gift a few years ago by one of my sons? He knows how much I love fragrances and took some precious time during his hectic schedule to agonize over just what to get mom. Not so much what, but which what.

Initially I wasn't terribly impressed with this lovely because it seemed so heavy, almost oppressive. During the dry down, something beautiful happened, a concert without any sour notes but in complete harmony. Breathe in, close your eyes, and take a deep breath. Mmmmmmmm. Of course the fact that it was selected with so much love and TLC had a lot to do with it, too. The anxious look on his face when he asked "Do you like it Mom?" and he promptly beamed when I responded "I love it!" It lasts for hours on me and gives a terrific sillage. My favorite winter scent. It's like I'm wrapped in a big hug from him every time I wear it.

briones

not intense , not worth the money. the one is much better.

samantha.hirsh.5

This has really grown on me. When I first tried it, I thought meh, it's too soft. It was gorgeous, don't get me wrong. But my skin eats perfume so I tend to go for the biggest of the big ( al la mugler). But as the day wore on, I was getting lovely wafts of raspberry and marshmallow. And I kept getting wafts. It's a much more delicate perfume than I'm used to, but certainly not to be ruled out! I need to learn that scents don't need to be shouty all the time to be appreciated ;)

andrea8267

mmmmnnnn... I really am struggling to decide whether i prefer this intense version or the Pour Femme version...... I originally bought the Pour Femme version to which i absolutely loved, yet found it didnt last a long time, i couldn't smell it after a while.. A perfume sales person once told me that if you cannot smell perfume on yourself then that is because it works with your chemistry!!!!!!
( although i really hate strong perfumes that you can follow around a store behind a person........ alien esscence absolue is a fine example of this ).... back to my review....Due to Pour Femme not seeming to smell after a while i was recommended the INTENSE version, At first application i was really unsure if i liked. i think i was comparing the top notes to Pour Femme, i decided to leave it for a while and go back to wearing Pour Femme...... A few months later i came back to INTENSE to give it another go.... sick of wasting perfumes by giving them away.. as this turns out a very expensive hobby.. This time i think i like, it has a different opening than the pour femme version but i am not good at explaining notes or even picking them out but love the sweet marshmallowy type note.. i will keep going with this one prboably more as a weekend or evening perfume

holyhidden

Very creamy lovely sweet floral perfume. It's not too sweet for me, and marshmallow is usually too sweet and not my favourite thing, but it's lovely in this; it gives a very soft, gentle creamy cushiony feeling. The tuberose is very pretty, and so is the neroli and orange blossom, and the green mandarine gives a beautiful tart intensity. And it's a beautiful gentle sweet milky sandalwood too.
I really love it. It is deep and feminine, sensual and romantic. Gorgeous. Really gorgeous, and I love the bottle and its glorious colour. Very sensual and intense and glamorous. I love wearing it, because I love it, and everyone else does too so I'm always getting lovely compliments. And my husband adores it! Which adds to my pleasure completely of course.

Missmaassen

I like D&G pour femme. My sister uses it all the time and gets compliments wherever she goes. She is really into sweet scents. However, I love pour femme intense. It should definitely not be called intense because the original pour femme is much more sweeter. Pour femme intense is much more creamier and smooth due to the sandalwood and tuberose. It gives a really warm and cozy vibe in the colder months. This perfume is highly attractive. There is nothing that i do not like about this perfume. I love its sleek bottle/packaging and also its attractive ad. I have not met one person who does not like this scent. i recommend it to all ladies. x

P.S. i have a friend who is a big fan of sweet scents. I sprayed three different scents on the paper strips and told her to pick her favourite. Without acknowledgement of which perfume it is, Pour femme intense is the one she picked! :)

Soofiya

Tried it from a small decant recently and I liked it
I've not tried pink one yet so I can't compare them but I want to explain intense's scent briefly I'd say soft, creamy sweetness with a hint of citrus
White florals, sandal and marshmallow blend to produce a very creamy but not heavy sweetness and a hint of sweet orange keeps it fresh
I find it nice.warm and comfortable and it gives a clean feeling to skin, like a creamy and fluffy white feeling
Sillage isn't really huge but staying power is good
I'll consider buying a bottle if I find it dlfor a good deal.I wish I can find a 50ml of it

AveParfum

This is not good. It's a soft perfume, a little sweet. Opens with a pop of orange and white flowers before settling into what should be marshallows but turns into the scent of multi-vitamins on my skin. Extremely soft sillage. Not a winner, which suprises me. I slightly prefer the original (the one from a few years ago, not the original from the 90's because that is an entirely different perfume).

MademoiselleMaya

It is anything but intense!
A rather gentle marshmallow scent liven up by orange and neroli.
Could be called sweet, but intense?

Circuit FAiry

Pour Femme Intense - interesting reactions over such a tasty formulation. I would caution: you must love a high dose of tuberose and sandalwood to enjoy this fragrance. If you enjoy those notes you will be happy to find that this fragrance can be a bit of a chameleon. While tuberose and sandalwood are very prominent notes the other notes develop differently depending on the weather. I have enjoyed it the most in the warmest days of summer. The heat turns up the marshmallow and citrus notes creating a sultry vibe sending tuberose and sandalwood to the background. Now that cooler weather is right around the bend, I cannot wait to experience what may unfold.

Sillage goes on moderate and wears soft while longevity is anywhere between 5-6hrs.

CeceliaHuynh

I agree with the posts that note a 'urine' smell. After all the synthetic sweetness and citrus (which is not entirely unpleasant) evaporates, a completely discordant civet-cumin smell rises up in the dry-down. It smells absolutely disgusting on me. I have a 25ml bottle which I would trade for an equivalent size of any other perfume but this. I can enjoy discordant or 'challenging' fragrances, but this just smells unhygienic.

Nuxe Prodigieux on steroids

seaside

Wow. Yes, everybody who rejects using words that demean a group of people are obviously just defensive because they belong to that group.

Hmmm...sounds eerily familiar in this current climate.

lulu169

@ViolteNoir: you are definitely right, you didnt write anything bad. the problem is on the side of those, who feel offended because they are aged. only their problem, though! ;)

socorrosouza

Perhaps because you equate age with what you think are bad perfumes.A person doesn't turns into a scents fiend just because s/he ages, s/he doesn't automatically smells bad because s/he has aged. Besides, if there is any certainty in life is that the only alternative to not age is dying young.

VioletNoir

@seaside

i wasnt insulting an age group, the old lady scent is just a way of describing something thats too flowery and overbearing. it really had nothing to do with age. Why do you get so offended over something so small and simple? we're only suppose to leave reviews of perfumes and our thoughts about them.. not critiques of reviews because said something that offended our ego.

missus9

I tried a sample of this on the other day and thought...mmmf, ho-hum. I walked outside of the store with a slight breeze blowing and got a gentle waft of this...mmmm! I went right back in the store and bought the rollerball. I don't usually go for sweet scents but the formulation is just right...wow!
It is perfect for autumn and somehow reminds me of a velvet blazer. Very soft and feminine ...makes me think of a great night out my husband in an upscale restaurant. Give this one a chance ladies..it may surprise you...it did me!

seaside

Wouldn't it be nice if someone could review a perfume without insulting an age group?

VioletNoir

i really really really love this type of scent. It's that powdery, sweet, lightly floral scent but its still youthfui not like an old lady. I can definitely tell a difference between Pour femme intense and pour lemme original, they are both nice, i think the intense version is a more citrus orange, the original was more raspberry sweet. I love the Marshmallow note, it is like a bubble or cloud of sweetness, it leaves a lovely trail. the man in this house really loved it too.

lucia.cirstea

Love-hate relationship - becauase of the warm smell, it gives me a sense of romance and feminity. also i feel like it smells like the warmth of the body underneath the clothes in winter time. Still the sweetness of it is so strong sometimes it makes me a little sick, like a ate a ton of gummy bears at once, but sometimes , i dont know why, it doesnt make me puke. :))
Also when i spray it , i dont smell anything at all...But after 30 mins or so, it just explodes...and it's very heavy... kind of shocking

ieta

i don't like that sweet but with this perfume it give me little feeling of warmth really its touch the romantic feeling.

Luckyloo889

I have it. I dont think it should be called intense... It should be called D&G deep dark secret. Now that sounds more like it

Bee-young-ka

I don't really love this one, the tuberose is a bit much paired with sugar sweet marshmellow.

not for me.

I gave it to my younger cousin who loved it. she is normaly a Black XS

good sillage and longevity.

AngelEuphoria

Nice but I prefer Aquolina's Pink Sugar (Not the Pink Sugar Sensual) to this one. Pink Sugar has cleaner base notes.

Madrona

Highly pleasing, this one. White and fluffy, impossibly soft. I have only smelled the original Pour Femme on paper in a department store, and it was overly saccharine. I don't find this one as nostril-frying. Hardly deserving of the name "Intense", though.

dglightblue

Pour femme edp is a cooler smell, this intense pour femme is warmer.
Both nice.
Cheese cakey actually. Nice and rich.
It's very tasty.
Not over the moon about the lasting power though.
I detect similarities in the dry down with untold absolu
Hmmm, I might buy a small bottle if I see it on sale, I would not buy the big one at full price though.
I only had a small vial of this, but maybe using an actual sprayer might help. It's winter here and I need to try it during the day.

AngelEuphoria

I adore Light Blue. but this one is too sweet. I will try the orignal (Pour Femme). But if you are looking for an extremely clean, light fragrance with the slightest hint of powder/sweet, try PLAY for HER by Givenchy. It's not too youthful or classic or casual. I still get so many compliments on Play, even in hot/humid 80 degree summer weather. I was at a ball game and those sitting near me asked the name and stated it smelled sooo good!

andrea8267

i bought this intense version as i love pour femme from 2012 . i thought the intense version would be all what the pour femme version was but maybe be a little stronger with more lasting smell throughout the day as i find pour femme the most beautiful initial spray yet it dissapears quickly.... the intense in my opinion has completely different smell, maybe i am looking for too much and cannot really drag myself away from my favourite in pour femme !!!!!!! i do keep trying it,,,,, think i will stick to the pour femme version and only use intense now and then. mmnnnnn not too sure on this one

Gigi The Fashionista

Fragrance Review For Dolce & Gabanna Femme Intense

Top Notes: Neroli Mandarin Orange

Middle Notes: Tuberose Orange Blossom

Base Notes: Sandalwood Marshmallow

This is very nice. I'd read the reviews on Fragrantica and was intrigued because it sounds like an orange flavored citrusy scent and of course with that fragrant neroli it would be. I also do like tuberose and orange blossom and sandalwood. Without that marshmallow note it would pass for a citrus chypre. I wondered whether or not the marshmallow would ruin it. It doesn't. It sweetens it and quietens the scents that could be too citrusy and too loud. I always laugh when I read about notes like marshmallow or popcorn or sugar cotton candy. It really doesn't go there. It's also a quiet marshmallow that just helps in keeping the whole thing together replacing what could have otherwise been a vanilla note. Sweet and not cloying. Beautiful citrus and tuberose. Gorgeous, feminine. Easy to wear. Great for spring and summer as a casual any occasion perfume.

Adelaide Rocks

OK, so this is not really a review, since I haven't tried the scent yet. Just a reflection on review etiquette and whether or not you want honest answers if you ask for an opinion about your perfume. Reading the reviews below, I'm a bit taken aback by comments calling Victoria's coworkers jerks or a-holes. After all, she asked them-they didn't just walk up and say "Hey you stink like urine" or something. My husband has on several occasions thought that the cat had peed somewhere when I've had flower arrangements with daffodils/narcissus in the room. He is not a jerk or an a-hole, he just genuinely has a totally different experience to that scent than I do. And I'm really glad that Victoria's coworkers told her, and that she mentioned it in her review. Now I know that this fragrance is one I definitely need to try before I buy, (unless I want to risk my husband getting very upset at the cat!)

UnearthlyApothecary

This is one of my favorite scents. A very classy sweetness. But not TOO sweet. It's also wearable in any season. It stays delicate and light during the summer and in the winter the warmth comes out. This sets the bar against which I judge all other gourmands.

aztzura

I never tried the original so I can't compare the two. D&G intense smells like marshmallow and sandalwood with some florals in the background. I really like the scent but it doesn't have much longevity. I wish it was more intense in lasting power.

EternityFresh

This is gorgeous! I get a sugary, slightly buttery popcorn vibe from it and it's so warm and delicious..I love the marshmallow and sandalwood in this, it's tender and sophisticated. A definite love for me!
