Idk why i get coconut scent on me. Its on the opening and middle note.

But what i love most is the dry down. Its so cozy and musky.

Can be quite cloying in closed space. But a really beautiful, mature woman scent nevertheless.

Some of these bad reviews got me wondering if people got a bad batch?!

I absolutely love this perfume!!! I get lots of red rose,the black and red berries,tonka beans,patchouli,amber wood etc….it just smells amazing and classy.
Sillage on me is a mix of moderate long lasting and longevity is long lasting.

This is another perfume that is a compliment getter for me!!!
Can be Wearable year round but you want to go light with this one in the warmer months.

Very very very bad! Smells like a medicine.

Freesia and coffee kinda takes over but the berries are amazing. Opening is kinda disappointing and weird but it gets better as it stays on. Spray 30mins before going out.

This is not my best blind buy. I can see why it wasn’t mainstream for too long, it so terrible. The powderiness makes it worse.

I can only think of wearing with something strong like BO, Oud like fragrance, unisex or masculine leaning fragrance to even it out and make it tolerable. I would only beer this in weather, as I believe it will be extremely overbearing in the spring or summer.

Like someone mentioned below, it smells like baby wipes!!!!! (That’s it I was wondering where I smelled that tingy kind of scent)

I will not recommend it at all to people who have a delicate nose. I have never regretted a blind buy before this. It will give you a headache. It is sweet fruity but not in a pleasant way at least for me. It gives me energy drink smell on steroids. Makes me nauseous. Smells like caugh syrup to me. If you can handle it good to you.

to me this smells so bad. Like its gone bad, not like "I dont like that kind of smell". It has the same sour/rancid smell i had with "la petite robe noir" blueish bottle...

Agree with @Sammbac ...this one is a weird mash of notes and it just clashes everywhere. Nothing is cohesive, it just smells like confusion. I have the only one (which i love) and the only one intense ( which is okay but im not as fond of it as the the OG)..but this??? This one seemed doomed just by naming it #2 which usually isnt done in perfume titles nowadays.

I don't really understand what this is. It's similar to The Only One 1 with an odd nuttiness and it just doesn't work for me. A bunch of clashing notes that are all too faint to discern. Confusing. Did not enjoy.

I love the warm jammy smell on my skin, but the violet ruins this, it’s very old lady powder baby wipes smell. The powder scent isn’t there on my skin, so I spray before dressing and make sure it’s dry; but if it gets on my clothes it’s all I can smell. I wanted to love it, but I do like it. I wish they had kept the violet out, now I know I don’t like that note. But I do wear it to bed because it’s a dark warm scent that’s comforting.

This is the ultimate rosey-berry-vanilla perfume. It retains the sweet-tart qualities of red berries, making it a realistic, fruity fragrance. It's really similar to La Nuit Tresor Intense!

I am not sure how this is rated as moderate longevity and moderate sillage!, this is definitely very long lasting, and sillage is also good, not a room filler but there is always a scent bubble if you have this on.

the scent is very feminine not cloying and safe for everyday use, red berries is the star of the show, remains a sweet berry type scent until deep dry down, last 8+ hours with a scent bubble (not a skin scent), wife comes back from work still smelling like this.

i bought this bottle for her around last year so i don't think it has been reformulated, test it out in stores.

I like it, it's confident, bold, sweet, 'red'. When first sprayed I thought this is scent right up my alley that's sweet and reminds me a bit of La Vie Est Belle. Would be good for cooler months, more so at night, but could be worn during the day too. Ages 20-30. I think of my Latino roommates clubbing, as they had this type of scent bomb perfume. Slightly reminds minds me if Miss Boucheron. D&G has more of a fruit note though. Also slightly reminds me of Katy Perry Killer Queen, but this is MUCH better. KQ was too strong for me. This is def not a safe blind buy! 
I get the warm spicy, iris, sweet red berries, powder. Coffee like in YSL Black Opitum not like fresh coffee (like Amour de cacao, CSP) I don't detect a caramel though. 
Arms length and probably larger salvage with more sprays. I like it! I wouldn't buy it or keep if gifted, but if I smelt this on someone it would take me right back to university parties. It smells too similar to LVEB to have 2 perfumes in the same family. Lasts a very long time, and smells like those edible candy necklaces I used to have as a kid. 

I was very excited about my sample of this because I LOVE “The Only One” and it is one of my top perfumes in my collection. I was very disappointed in this flanker and ended up hating it at first spray. This smells like cheap baby wipes to me and isn’t worth the purchase of a full bottle to me. I will be tossing this sample as soon as possible

I received a sample of this and I really liked it - it opened very sweet, a mix of flowers and caramel. I had a perfume as a child which smelled exactly like how this opens, I was very surprised to smell it again after 20+ years. If anyone has any idea about the one I'm talking about, do let me know :) It quickly changed to kind of coffee vibes on me, bitter, which I am not really enjoying in this perfume, but overall I find it smells really pleasant.
Unfortunately when I tested the sample, I didn't realise it was The Only One 2 rather than The Only One, and I promptly found a bottle of the latter. Upon using it I realised it wasn't the same perfume, but now coming back to the Only One 2 sample, that has lost the childhood fragrance smell to me and all I smell is The Only One :/ So a bummer overall.

I agree 100% with olitunia! I was going to buy the 1.7ml bottle, but decided to get a sample based off the reviews here. Sooo glad I did. The review below describes it perfect. I have The One Essence, The Only One, The Only One Intense and I love them all, but this one is a hard pass for me🙁

I have tested this in the store and liked it enough to order, but now I kind of don’t… it is not even medicinal, the smell is just kinda flat, it smells like a perfume that you sprayed on a piece of paper and then you find that paper in your bag after a weekend and now it is a faint fruity smell mixed with the smell of the bottom of your bag 🤷🏼

This smells medicinal - like when you accidentally cut up a pill, or a dried wet wipe. Quite awful on me.

This smells like fresh baby wipes to me. Lol probably my least favorite blind buy ever. I was expecting berries, roses and coffee and got baby wipes and powder.

I’m a gourmand girl, so I’m a bit disappointed but I could see someone who likes powdery, makeup bag, iris type scents liking this. My mom is a powdery scent lover so I will probably give this to her.

I' usually don't go for berry/cherry-rose-powder perfumes because I have a few in this genre and I always think they're enough(Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, Nina Ricci L'Extase, Guerlain La petite Robe Noir Intense,Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge and a few more sweet berry, rose with some powder perfumes). but I had to try this one because I really like D&G The Only One eventhough it's not unique.
the same thing goes on here. D&G The Only One2 is not unique or groundbreaking but this doesn't stop me from liking it.
It goes through three distinct phases on my skin.
It opens with a tart and sweet jammy berry note(I sometimes feel it has cherry too which gives it a bit of medicinal vibe in this stage), a delicate rose and some powder.
After a few minutes, The Only One's caramel+creamy vanilla+a hint of coffee +ripe pear DNA shows up.I find this stage confusing because it's as if too much is going on. I feel like there's a fight between tart and sweet rose-berry and The Only One's gourmand DNA, each trying to overpower the other.
Third stage is my favorite. it's like the two parties in previous phase find peace. I can detect a beautiful berry-rose, lots of powder(this combination reminds me of a yummy lipgloss) rounded by just a touch of The Only One's creamy deliciousness which gives the berry-rose-powder warmth and smoothness and prevents it from falling into medicinal territory again.
I don't find this too mature or matronly. it's not juvenile either. it manages to be flirtatious and classy at the same time. doesn't last long on me but projects more than moderate while it lasts. If you're not into powdery perfumes this is not for you because it's even more powdery than The Only One.
I believe it smells beautiful and if the idea of a rosey berry with a sweet,gourmand twist seems to be your thing make sure to give it a try.I prefer this one to some other perfumes in this genre and I'm glad there's no patchouli or a real woody base in here. I can't decide if I like this one or The Only One more. on my skin their drydown is almost the same, just there's a touch of berry-rose added in The Only One2
BTW don't get me started on it's name. what does even The Only One2 means?! the only one can't have a second. it's freaking THE ONLY one! they could choose from a bunch of other better increative names like The Only One Rouge or The Only Girl

بعد از چند دقیقه یهو دی ان ای د اونلی وان سروکلش پیدا میشه. دقیقا همون ترکیب کارامل و خامه و گلابی رسیده و کمی قهوه. تو این مرحله، انگار دو تا عطر متفاوت با همدیگه درحال جنگن. انگار یکی دی اند جی د اونلی وان و یه عطر تمشکی-رزی رو از رو همدیگه زده به یه نقطه از پوستش.. اما بعد از چند دقیقه این دو رایحه متفاوت با همدیگه به صلح میرسن. کماکان ژن خوشمزه و خامه ایه د اونلی وان رو میشه حس کرد که رایحه پودری و لیپ گلاس طور رز، تمشک، بنفشه رو دربرگرفته و یه حس و حال کاملا گورمند بهش داده
. د اونلی وان۲ ملسی تمشکها و توتهای قرمز رو درکنار شیرینی خوشمزه د اونلی وان داره و بنظر من دلبر و دوست داشتنیه. عطر یونیک و خاصی نیست و تو این سبک و سیاق عطر زیاد هست منتها این بنظرم یکی از بهترینها و خوش بازخوردترینهای این سبک تمشک-رز-یکم پودره و من درکل دوسش داشتم اما اگه عطرهای پودری-لوازم آرایش طور دوس ندارید بعیده ازش خوشتون بیاد چون نه تنها اون پودریت بنفشه ایه د اونلی وان رو داره،اینجا پودریت رز هم اضافه شده.بشخصه دودلم که از د اونلی وان بیشتر خوشم میاد یا د اونلی وان۲ چون درای داونشون تقریبا یکیه فقط تو د اونلی۲ یکم رز-تمشک اضافه شده

I feel this is the most unique out of all the d&g fragrances, and although it’s not one of my most revisited perfumes in my collection, when I do pick this out it just puts a smile on my face . I do find it to be mature and yes there is a lot going on yes and it can be overwhelming.
Some people on here have said it’s about like a shower cream and I do agree
I’m sad to hear it is being discontinued

I have seen some mixed reviews for this one, so I didn't do a blind buy but instead payed a ridiculous price for a sample. Turns out that I am quite enjoying it so far, and will be adding a full bottle to my list. It gives me strong The Only One vibes (duh, but not every flanker echoes the original), but with a berry twist. It doesn't project like The Only One, but I am ok with that.

Not too keen on this, all the notes seem to be fighting with one another. Glad I tried it before a blind purchase, which would have left me rather disheartened.

This is a strong and mature perfume. I'm prone to motion sickness and this triggers headache for me.
It's strong in a sense like La Vie est Belle strong, one spritz and I can smell it on myself the whole hour and gives me a headache. I prefer fragrances that doesn't choke people out.
This has the old lady floral note (patchouli), mature vibe, lipstick/makeup scent. If you like those classy scents you will like this.

my mom bought this recently and i tried it. I got acid, sour berries mixed with the sweet notes (probably cacao and tonka). To me, it smells like the notes are not well integrated... like the perfume gone bad. And ive got the "i smell this before" with guerlain's LPRN intense (the blue one)

Really just too much going on in this for me to enjoy it, it's all top notes + violet. Just too sweet and not in the good way for me unfortunately.

When I first got this at least a year ago as a blind buy, I immediately disliked it. I found it to be quite powdery, and I really did not like powdery scents at that time. As my collection has grown, I am finding an appreciation for powdery scents. Unfortunately, this one still exceeds my tolerances, because all I really get from this one is powdery berry. If I detected some floral notes that might save it, but powdery with slightly sour berry is not a pleasant combination to my nose. As we are at the end of summer where I live, I am going to hold onto this long enough to test it out on what passes for winter days here (I'm in S. California, so it never gets really cold.) If I can't make it work on the coldest days, this one goes. It's too bad, because I really do enjoy The Only One, and the Intense flanker.

This is very mature but a sexy mature. It’s powdery but also a little sweet. You can smell some of the original dna in it but I would rather buy the first one 100 times over this one. It’s a little too mature for me but I still think it smells good. I just don’t love it. I got it at Tj maxx for $40 and am contemplating returning it. But I think I’ll keep it in case it grows on me as I get older.

Am I really the only one (no pun intended) who gets straight up CHERRY?! I'm talking cough syrup cherry. To me, this smells very similar to LPRN in the opening. The dry down is kind of matronly, in my own opinion. Perhaps this just smells better on everyone but me. :(

Meh. I blind bought this, figured it was probably safe since I like the original only one. I’m not in love with it and it probably won’t get picked up often as it registers in the mediocre category. It’s not bad, there’s nothing offensive. VERY powder heavy, I was shocked that it wasn’t listen in the notes. You’ve really got to get past that before you can even attempt to smell anything else, which is really only flat berry.

It almost reminds me of an early 2000s celebrity perfume, it performs as such too. Close the skin, 2-3hr wear, surprisingly light.

This is very similar to the first. I get absolutely no coffee note from this (still) and I actually think this one is fruitier and SLIGHTLY more powdery to the first which might not be a popular opinion. It's sweet and and definitely made to be liked by many, which I think it achieves very well. It's pretty versatile for any occasion but I personally like it for the club as it's nice and feminine. I don't think this one stands out as anything extravagant but it's still a good one. I'd probably still prefer the first though.

My ideal type of fragrance that I have been searching for is to smell clean and shampoo-esque without smelling cheap, smelling powdery but in a sophisticated way, and smelling sweet and feminine without being headache inducing. I have tested many perfumes but in vain, until I blind bought this based on reviews solely.

I have never tested this but it sounded like I’d like it so I had to treat myself lol. The initial spray smells of intense berries and powder. Reminds me of boujee skin care products. To me, it smells really good but not unique. But hey, sometimes all you need is a safe fragrance but with a twist. This screams to my a very flirtatious woman that either could be very serious one minute & turn very quirky and bubbly the next??

The initial spray to me smelled like something very familiar but at first I couldn’t get it. Then it clicked. This smells like Bath & Body Works’ Dark Kiss at first bec of the strong berry notes. I get that it also smells a little bit like Black Opium bec of the coffee note towards the mid, but tbh TOO2 is much better bec it’s fresher and cleaner. BO sometimes make me feel like Im sweaty even tho I like it. It has to be in the midst of winter to really appreciate BO, unlike TOO2 which I feel could be more appropriate any weather really.

Also this reminds me of la petite robe noire intense for some reason -the blue one-. I know cherry is not listed but I feel like this has some sour cherry syrup.

I haven’t really fairly tested how this gem performs yet but I would say so far this lasts with a moderate sillage and probably you’ll go nose blind after first few hours but everyone else would smell a divine trail. I wish it would’ve performed a little better but I really enjoy it and considering trying The Only One bec I haven’t yet.

I really like this fragrance. It's sweet, strong and long lasting for me. It smells similar to Body Fantasies Vampire which I used to love, and it was discontinued. They both have this nice chocolate-rose scent. There's also a lipstick vibe, but it's not super strong thankfully otherwise I feel like I wouldn't enjoy this as much. I'm not a huge fan of cosmetic smells. I don't actually get a lot of fruit, just mostly a dark chocolate/rose/lipstick and very sweet. I've seen people say this reminds them of fall or Christmas, but for me this smells like summer. I feel like if I went out into the heat and got a bit sweaty, this would keep me smelling divine.

Normally strong and projecting fragrances are a HELL NO for me, BUT this one is an exception.

The Only One 2 by Dolce & Gabbana is a sweet fruity fragrance. It is quite strong, but not too overpowering. I used three sprays on my arms.

You will smell like some fruit tart/bakery when wearing this, but in a good way. I think it is yummy. The opening is more joyful and transparent, but dries down a sweet gourmandy scent. Nonetheless, it's not all sweety and creamy; the coffee note is there to prevent it from going full blown girly sweet.

Despite being advertised for women, I believe men can also enjoy this one. It is really yummy and works well in colder weather or in air-conditioned environment.

I didn't expect to like this one, but I like it. It's not something I would pick up or blind buy, but I got this one as part of my purchase promotion, and I am enjoying it.

A solid fragrance. If you love gourmand, fruity fragrances, this is the one (but maybe not the ONLY one) for you. Some people are usually (understandably) put off by number 2, which is in this fragrance's name, thinking that it would be somehow an inferior sequel to the original, but I would encourage you not to think that way in this case. Do give it a try!

incredibly warm ambery fragrance ..very similar to Only One 1 but with added berries which makes it more interesting, intriguing and complex

So much powder. I get absolutely no berries in the opening, it goes straight into violet. It's dusty, powdery, a little sweet. The coffee note isn't very pronounced but it's there, behind all the dust. On me, it has a similar vibe to Good Girl by CH. I'm personally not a fan - as there are much better berry frags (check Burberry Her) and much better coffee ones! (Café Tuberosa by Atelier Cologne)

There’s some note in here that I can’t stand, but I’m new to perfumes so I can’t place it. This fragrance is very “perfume-y” as well, too mature for my taste (I’m in my 20s)

this kinda pulls like an old grandma perfume on me lol. its not nearly as delicious as the original. i also dont get any berries from this. its more mature than what i was thinking it was going to be. not as berry sweet as everyone says in my opinion.

I blind bought this basing on reviews that it is sweet and very berry. Grabbed the opportunity when it went on sale this weekend.

With my chemistry it's very sexy..like CH good girl vibes (must be the tonka bean) .. but sad it's not what I'm looking for.It is a great scent though...

Cottoncandyrainbows I do hope you like it!!! I love to layer this with a couple other fragrances I have to help with longevity even more. So far pairing with LA vie est belle intensement just brings that extra OOMPH. For me personally, perfumes tend to evaporate quickly and I've had good luck with the layering of this perfume. Hope you enjoy!!!! Please don't hate me if you don't enjoy it -- I do believe my environment plays a huge role in how much I love it. It's hot days and cold nights. Good luck friend! 👍

I have not personally tried this yet, but I'm doing my first perfume subscription and this will be one of my first fragrances from them (it's due on Saturday, whoop whoop!). I'm so hoping my first whiff of this matches your review!

On my skin it's so Shampoo vibe , I like it but not the best for me

Got this as a gift, and boy if it wasn’t a slam dunk with this one. It’s creamy, sweet and warm. I think the advertisement for this perfume explained it well, a lively and elegant woman with an expensive taste just having the time of her life. Not too serious, but not too sweet. I am a fan of the powdery floral scent, and in my opinion while similar, Only One 2 smells more unique than the original incarnation. A wonderful nighttime scent, longevity on my skin is superb and sillage is great without disturbing other people.

This perfume is everything!!! I was shopping for my sisters birthday and wanted to get her a perfume and i came across dolce and gabbana the only one 2 and i just ended up buying it for myself haha. But honestly so worth it, it smells warm creamy fruity sweet with the rose it just matches so well and it honestly smells edible too like my boyfriend wanted to lick me and others have said that too and if you like the attention then definitely get this. Also it lingers around wherever you go and thats what i tend to like for myself. Its seductive yet elegant and classy but not in a old woman way more of a young woman who gets every mans attention. You’re basically that girlll!!!

Don’t like it. I really wanted to. This reminds me of the burberry her intense. The burberry her smells better imo. This smells like sour berries :-/ . I got the 1.7 ounce so no hole in my pockets. What a bummer. Beautiful red bottle and packaging tho.

This was a early Christmas gift for myself, a blindbuy :) on me this smells like one of these expensive chocolates that you dont buy so often...I love it! Its so well blended and soft. I also have The Only One, I dont think you need both cause they are quite similar, its up to your taste, this one has a more strong red berry note and The Only One has a stronger caramel/toffee note. I love them both :)

So beautiful blackberry and red berries. Longevity and sillage are so great. I can smell this all day long. Nice perfume, sweet and literally so expensive. One of my favourites. For those who like sweet perfumes (and coffee as well).

This to me smells like syrupy berries and movie theater butter popcorn. There is a salty buttery note that I get on my skin that really does remind me of popcorn. Maybe it’s my chemistry or maybe I got a bad sample. It doesn’t smell much like the notes listed to me other than the berry notes. It is not something I would choose to wear. It reminds me off a teen type body spray just with better performance and a bit more complexity. The notes don’t mesh well and I am glad I only bought the sample size. I did purchase a full size bottle of the only one original which I like better but isn’t an instant love. I’m going to try it a few more times to see if it grows on me and if not I may put that one up for swap.

It is very similar with dolce garden. Such a mood uplifting perfume, sooo smeet and sexy! I was surprised there’s not a vanilla note here. One more time I see that notes mean nothing literally! Really like it! Have few back ups! ❤️

A highly sensual smell. A safe scent. It's not sweet, not offensive, not attention seeking. It's respectful, but it makes it's presence. It's not loud or overpowering. None of the D&G scents are.

It is very much a thick fruit syrup and I am not sure I like it. I detect a little bit of coffee mixed with the fruits, but it doesn't resemble black opium in any way. It is a strange one. I will wait until spring and summer to see if it gets any better in the warm weather, but so far it seems it is not for me.

On my body chemistry, this smells like dark red berries with coffee and hints of florals and I love it. However, on my sister, the perfume turns very powdery, and the violet and rose take centre stage with her body chemistry. Unfortunately, it was a gift for her, but she's not into powdery scents.

Kids playdough!
At first spray I liked it because it had a nice deep berry scent but then after a few seconds it changed and I got some nice coconut. After about 5 minutes the notes no longer blended well and it smelt like an old kids play dough I used to have. I got sick of it immediately and had to scrub it off. I wouldn't reccomend but if you like a weird coconut dry down scent then maybe this is for you.

Love The Only One, love the Only One 2. This one is all about dark red, it is all about berries, so many berries. It is the ultimate fruity perfume. But! Then you have all the lovely aspects of The Only One - the warmth, the coziness, the coffee, the patchuli, the amber... This range is just incredible, like unbelievably good. It has so so much in it. Fruity, floral, gourmand, fresh, spicy, oriental. And yet so playful! Hands down, Dolce and Gabanna, wonderful creation! Such a mood lifter :) It smells so festive and happy.

I really had mixed feelings about this perfume at first. I didn't particularly like it, as I typically like more amber based gourmand fragrances, but I also have a penchant for rose so I figured I'd give it a try. I tried it 3 times prior before today actually and I find today is the first day I've actually been able to enjoy it due to overspraying. What's odd is the fact that when I spray it on my skin, it seems to be a very different perfume than when I spray it on my clothes. I smell a lot more of the rose on my clothes than on my skin. Also, to speak to lasting power, it's not the greatest to be honest, but that's just in my experience. I sprayed it on my clothes yesterday and it's barely there today. Today I'm definitely noting the coffee note in the scent, which I didn't notice prior due to the overpowering rose/berry blast. On my previous tries, about half an hour after the dry down I did notice a little bit of a tropical note, which makes sense considering coconut was a note, when placing nose to spray point. I saw previously someone mentioned that it has a lipstick smell, and upon smelling it today immediately thought of my grandmother's dusty orange lipstick that she LOVED (in case you're wondering, yes, my grandma was cool af), just couldn't place the scent previously. I like it, it's cozy and nice, and it's a perfume you wear for you to make you feel good. But really aren't all of them?

I cannot believe I found this. It’s been on my wishlist for a while, but it was so incredibly hard to find from a legitimate retailer. I just kinda gave up on finding it, but Nordstrom Rack came through!

The opening is bright and citrusy then it gets warmer and a little earthy. I get plenty of sweet and super fluffy florals .. I think I’m getting mostly violet here, maybe a touch of rose. I’m disappointed that the berry notes aren’t more identifiable. They’re there, but they just add overall fruity sweetness. Midphase is a smooth, spicy, cola with a coffee note that reminds me of the one in Black Opium … you know, the coffee note that’s called coffee but doesn’t really smell anything like coffee. And, after reading reviews, I do also get coconut, but it’s a truer coconut … not a tropical, cocktail, syrupy coconut or anything. The drydown is really pretty but kind of unexpected. There was something I just couldn’t place! I asked my husband what he thought .. and dadgumit if he didn’t nail it right on the head. In the drydown, this does, in fact, smell like a fruity dryer sheet. Not like, Bounce .. like a fruity Gain or something.

Great projection and longevity.

Wish I had checked TJMaxx before I bought from an online seller and I would have been more thrilled too. ;-) Oh well, guess I will know best on my next purchase. I bought this on a blind buy too because of the notes listed. I was pleased from the first whiff and it got better as it aged. I like the berry notes at the beginning but do not smell much rose. I do pick up the coffee as the fragrance matures and it is quite lovely. This is a perfume for most all occasions. It is not over-powering and yet it is noticeable enough to wear just about any where you want to go. I could wear jeans, a business suit, fancy dress, and even a soft nightie with this fragrance and feel very much comfortable. I paid about twice as much as the lady below me, but I think this fragrance is worth it. I would buy it again if I ever use up this large bottle.

just nabbed the 100ml for 34.99 from tk maxx 🤯 besides that, i really do like this perfume. I don’t really get the berry notes in this just feels like a warm comforting scent. It’s one of those where i can’t actually describe what it smells like? Definitely get the rose and tonka which i absolutely love though. Had it on for about 4/5 hours now and can still smell it as strong as when i first sprayed it. The sillage is actually quite impressive and multiple people have asked me what i’m wearing which i always like! Thrilled is an understatement very very happy with this considering it was a blind buy and can’t argue for that price! God bless tk maxx.

This smells like a mix of coconut flakes and Turkish rose. It’s sweet sensual and very pretty.
Once I smelled this I immediately knew what this smelled like. Almost every cleaning product in Turkey has Turkish rose in it so to me this smelled like a bathroom. Not in a bad way, though.
If I didn’t associate that smell with the cleaning product I would have loved it.

This reminds me of a very smooth and creamy fancy coffee/coconut, even though there is no coconut in this.

However, I’ve had this perfume for about 6 months now and I noticed it has turned slightly bitter (in the bottle and on skin) so that’s disappointing.

I remember being in love with this perfume the first time I smelled it. Even though the infatuation did not last long, I still feel like it’s wearable – I’m just no longer head over heels with the overall scent. I sincerely hope my batch has not gone off, but from time to time I detect unpleasant synthetic and bitter undertones, which I mainly attribute to the coffee and fruit mix. However, in overall, it remains a warm and fruity winter fragrance I feel like spraying every now and then.

I've tried all three The Only Ones now n have come to the conclusion the original has coffee upfront, the intense has coconut n 2 has fruity berries. Then they are all same. I like all of them.

Very interesting - this is the first fragrance in which I smell a distinctive chocolate note. To my surprise, there is no chocolate in the notes. Maybe it's the coffee mixed with something?
Apart from that, it is way too sweet and nauseating for me, it's good for trying, but I wouldn't use it on myself regularly.
Definitely don't blind buy this.

This smells like a slightly less terrible version of La Vie Est Belle Intesement. The coffee note helps it from being completely awful... it’s still pretty cloying to me though.

I was so excited to try this perfume based on the list of notes, I love them all so had quite high expectations. The opening is very nippy and nose burning - crispy redberries and blackberries mixed with rich fruity sweet notes, the pear and powdery roses come out in the background and fade out very quickly. Nice deep coffee and tonka bean notes develop later on but get strangled by synthetic violet which is not pleasant but quite sour. I found the whole mix so confusing, notes overpowering each other, what a shame. However once it settles down it smells really nice - dark and warm full of tonka bean with hints of amber and patchouli, still keeps the sweet fruity notes. Lasts all day, good for summer nights or winter season.

-Reminiscent of the opening of Giorgio Armani- My Way.
-The Only One 2 is a more toned down version of it.
-If the overt fruity-ness of My Way offends you, you might still find this wearable.
-Tad too generic for my liking.

The scent itself is very nice - deep, rich berries with a touch of rose and the smallest hint of coffee. I also smell vanilla in there. It's not all that similar to the original TOO in my opinion. This one actually smells *very* similar to La Vie Est Belle Intensement (the red one), this one is just a deeper nighttime version of it. The longevity on TOO2 is outstanding, this stayed on my skin for 12 hours and it would've stayed on much longer than that had I not showered.

This perfume smells lovely! It's a nice powdery, berry, violet and rose scent, with a similar DNA to the original. This also has a sweet berry soapy smell, which I can detect after I spray it on myself. I find this perfume to be very elegant and suitable for wear with a classy outfit on a date - night kind of outing. I love the performance as well, it's just that you need more sprays than you would with other perfumes, due to the atomizer not spraying much perfume at once. However the sillage and longevity are great, better than the original. The packaging looks great on my dresser as well. I definitely do recommend testing in store before purchasing, considering that it's not a love for everyone. This flanker is also my favourite out of 'the only one' range.

This fragrance is FANTASTIC. I don't understand any hate around this other than marketing is questionable..but..the smell though! It smells like the most perfect, delicously jammy rose without being cloying or too sweet. It's delightful.

If you enjoy Rose Jam from Lush, this is that but way elevated.

I'm glad I didn't let negative reviews sway me from buying this.

It reminded me of a perfume I had a long time ago. Versus from Donna Versace.

I do not quite understand the negativity for this perfume, i do agree that the name has no selling value, who wants to be the only one but the second?
And the smell... i love powdery, rose, lipstick type ones and this falls into the category, i guess due to violet and rose. I would not think it could be berry class, but i suppose that is due to the notes and due to the first blast after spray. i do like that coffee is not too loud. It is a bit sticky from tonka, but again, just like lipstick - creamy, rosy, powdery matter. It may be liked by more mature with character and experience person. And trust me not, it smells really nice on guys, who like softer, not too loud smells. I would say it is quite nicely blended, because none of the notes stands out. The hard glass red bottle is also outstanding. Not for a blind buy, even though i found out this smell by very nice accident. I've received the delivery of a cosmetic product from online shop and all packing paper smelled.... something. Did not like it nor dislike it. Then unboxing showed on the bottom the note, that this parcel is sprayed with The only one 2. After some 20min i caught myself wondering what is that nice smell which is not familiar to my nose. It took me a while to realize, considering that working from home, the package-box and then hunting for this bottle started.

The kind of sweet scent that reminds you of stale and hard to tolerate things. Definitely one of those 'Why the heck would anyone want to wear this? It's not even shocking, it's just bad' scents.

Smells like ...a berry... a soured berry mixed with flowers ..and cheese . Maybe my nose is weird , but so far not for me.

Mhhh, I'm quite divided about this one.
The opening bugs me quite badly, it's super sweet and smells synthetic, it's a blast of "lab" forest fruit! At this point I'm like, "maaan, I have smelled this before way too many times".
Later, though, something wonderful happens and all the pretty notes, the coffee and the tonka come into play and the fragrance rounds up nicely, making it become a "glassy" gourmand. I wanna call it so in lack of a better word, in order to express that there is still a remant of synthesis and it never becomes totally fluffy, warm and realistic.
All in all, though it's not the epitome of originality, it's a pleasant offering for those who love a sweet perfume. I just wish it were slightly more unique OR slighly better blended.
Sillage is moderate to strong on me and it lasts about 3-4 hours.

Mehhh. Boring. Notes sound nice...if only it smelled like the notes. Just a "perfumey" run of the mill scent that gets put out by designer companies year after year. Nothing special and not worth remembering. The "only one" (no pun intended) I like in this line is the original marshmallow-y powdery one with the light pink juice and even that doesn't wow me.

so i would say this is definitely a different kind of scent.....and i dont mean that in a bad lol........its just one of those scents thats not for everyone & def do not blind buy lol

its a rich creamy fruity rose scent......and i dont mean fruity in a teen way lol........its an adult version for sure :) i picture a woman in a beautiful long red velvet gown- hair swooped up , perfect red lips - everyone eyeing her type of gal going to a evening gala in this scent :)

on me its the rich red rose , red berries for sweetness & the violet for that creaminess & the oh so beautiful amber drydown........and its kind of oddly addicting lol :)

i do love the chunky heavy deep red bottle but i do have to agree with one of the other posters that the name is kind of unoriginal lol.......the only one with a big number 2 on it lol is kind of lame dolce & gabbana.........maybe itcould of been something like the only one sweet roses :)

This is a strange one for me. I’ve got through a small sample and at first I got a sweet-ish fruity opening with a woody dry down. Pleasant, and much more preferable to the original Only One (seriously D&G? You couldn’t think of a better name for this version?)
However, the more I made my way down it, I got the opposite notes listed - violet, pear, and patchouli. Not a combination I enjoyed tbh (I’m not a fan of violet notes in general) so I will be giving this one a pass as it’s not reliable enough for me. Longevity and sillage were alright though, if you’re into this sort of thing.

It eventually grew on me when I used up my 5 mL decant. Not as terrible as my first review made it out to be. The first one is just better and more youthful. I have young women chasing me down to ask what I’m wearing when I wear TOO. Only a lot more older women have told me I smelled good when I wore TOO2, and they described it as powdery and floral. I would get a bottle if it were inexpensive enough but for now I’m okay not having it in my collection.

I just submitted a review for TOO so check that out if you're comparing to buy one. But you can always find samples and decants online before you take the plunge. :)

TOO2 was a huge disappointment basically. To my nose, I smell the first TOO fragrance, but it's getting covered by strong floral scents. I smell rose and berries in the initial spray. I guess it's alright but I prefer the deeper, yummier TOO. Seems like a lot of flankers are coming out that look like they're gonna be more intense but are actually lighter (see Armani Si and Armani Si Passione, though there are other examples).

Dark red is not the color I would give TOO2. I know it's red for red rose and berries but it seems more hotpink than anything, even a mid-toned pink. The bottle with the big 2 is lame though. Just comes across as very flippant like no thought was put into it.

So yeah. I get the berries and rose basically. Dries to the same kind of scent. If you think that's for you, find yourself a decant (D&G never made samples for this I believe so you'll have to look on eBay for decants from somebody's personal bottle). I paid $8 total shipped for a 5 mL spray which was a great deal.

One of my new favourite perfumes!! Nice sweet and deep scent that has s mix of fruits and coffee making it unique.
Definitely more on the mature side of fragrances and it's different than other sweet scents.
Love it however longevity is not the best. Usually after 2 or 3 hours I can hardly smell it.

This opens up with a juicy blast of berries and stays fruity all through the drydown. The blackberry and cranberry are sweet, but not syrupy, more on the clean and fresh side. Synthetic in a pleasant way, like a nice smelling shampoo. I also get a strong pear note for extra juiciness and powdery floral notes of roses and violets. Unfortunately I don‘t get a lot of coffee, just a very slight hint that I wouldn‘t have noticed if I didn‘t know the notes. There is a warm base underneath it all, but it‘s mainly a fruity floral scent to my nose. I find the bottle color to be quite fitting for the scent and I like how the fragrance is fruity, but not a super-light summer cocktail.

So, despite the dumb name that sounds like it came right from a Valentine‘s day gift set for polygamists, The Only One 2 is a pretty scent, but it doesn‘t really knock my socks off.

From the first second this reminded me of Roses Berberanza by Lancome. Similar berries, rose, and violet but not much else in common according to the notes. I get that jammy lipstick vibe from both, with The Only One 2 having a pleasant mellow coffee note that takes it deeper. It also avoids the offensive opening of RB. I love both of these fragrances and find them just different enough to keep both. I also love The Only One, which has little in common with this flanker, but is intensely warm and inviting.

In an incredibly odd development, this just ends up smelling like J.Lo Miami Glow on me. Nothing in the notes or other reviews aligns with this though. Maybe this is warmer and richer, less musky? But not by much.

In any case, I had Miami Glow, used it, finished it,but I'm not 19 anymore and J.Lo, god bless her, will not be getting any more of my money. Even if she's called Dolce and Gabbana in this case lol.

Something I was gifted by my husband. Coming back from Naples at one cold day in November, he enlighted our northern coldness with the memory of Italian sun and breakfasts in front of the sparkling sea in Ischia this year.
Wear it in winter only and you will be delighted with southern sweetness and warmth: Sparkling pear dancing with red fruits, some short freshness of airy freesianotes, warmth of rose mingled with amber and coffee and really nice dark woody basenotes with a trace of coffee.
Of course, this is not your daily soup and bread - this is the dessert. For special days and evenings and for the delight of your husband, if he is into sweets, as it is mine ;)

I don't get the negative feedback on this fragrance. Otherwise, this is fruity, milky, coffee fragrance. The opening took me right to La Nuit Tresor with crispy berries, sour cherries and pear. The drydown has still a hint of berries, milky ambergris and coffee. Beautiful ambergris! The coffee has nothing in common with Black Opium coffee note, imo.
I am very sensitive to blackberry note, probably because I am allergic to them, and I usually avoid it, but believe me, this is one of the few fragrances that has a nice blackberry note, or it is very well blended with the other notes.
It also has a hint of a traditional liquor, made in Eastern Europe, by mixing sugared sour cherries with distilled alcohol.
About performance, on me isn't bad (4-5 hours) it doesn't last as much as I would like to, but I don't mind reapplying. I just love it!

Reminds me those air freshener used in some shops. They are mainly sweet vanilla with a hint of coco, wellcoming and pleasing the first moments when you entre the store.

But after some minutes they became more and more invasive and intrusive at the point the smell force you to go outside.

At first I smell sour blackberries, accompanied by rose and violet as well as tonka and coffee in a pleasant, velvety version. This stage, however, does not last long, coffee and tonka completely disappear. Acid blackberries play the first fiddle, and a rose in a violet quilt and delicate wood notes creates a cosmetic background for blackberries. The Only One 2 personally disappointed me. I expected a sweet, sensual composition that harmonized with the color of the bottle, and instead I got a body lotion with the scent of blackberry.

I love this one a lot, it is very fruity and powdery,it is sweet but rather delicate it feels like velvet on the skin,while it is not complicated it has depth.I love TOO but I think TOO2 is also very well crafted the only downside is that I have to re spray during the day as it does not last too long.

It opened in 4 stages on my cold skin ..
First, berries but in the dark colors, sprinkled with coffee, a kind of dark red velvet as the bottle is... a rose appeared, which was immediately strangled by powdery violet, I felt it for few minutes (I also don’t like it in Lolita Lempicka), and then the fragrance started to play louder because finally roasted tonka beans appeared, namely roasted, as this is a completely different flavor..
In the end everything mixed into sensual, sweet, berry- flowery animalic scent... lasting power is not great but who will forbid us to refresh it every hour ))...

dark, sexy and fruity. not very mature. the smell blends into a powdery fruit musk.

tried this on skin yesterday - uninspired with a short life and a dry down that leaves a miniscule almost undetectable taint of **black opium - coffee!

D&G = dull and get something else!

tragic - what is happening to the fab world of fragrance - really not acceptable considering the price of some of them!

This just smells like fruits. Synthetic ones. It's cheap smelling. I'm mostly upset by the glaring illogicality of the name though.

This is nice. It smells similar to the original but I dont love it as much and frankly I didnt expect to. Ambergris definitely dominates this flanker.

Sample: I do not like the opening, very bitter and nose burning. Once it settles down it smells nice, dark and warm with a fruity twist. Feels very in line with KP Killer Queen, EA in love with you. If you have those, this is nothing new. Longevity and silage are all over the place on scores, it dies quickly on my skin but survived better on clothes. Would not buy a full bottle when Killer Queen is sooooo much cheaper

Tried this one, and it's a nice scent, but it smells similar to scents I already own (La Nuit Tresor a la Folie,Jimmy Choo Fever,) not the same, but in that vein. I smell mostly rose,violet and berries with some depth which I'm guessing would be coffee. It's also slightly soapy. Longetivity and silliage are poor. I'll finish my sample, but I don't think I'll be buying a full bottle.

Beautiful bottle, and I had high hopes for this one, especially since I didn’t really enjoy the first edition. But!! What’s the matter? It doesn’t last over one hour on my skin, and all I end up smelling is coffee blended into nothingness. The opening is however almost too sharp and intense due to red berries and almost leathery notes (no trace of blackberry though)!.. Really, one of the most finicky scents I’ve come acrooss...

A nicely tweaked version of the original, this is sweet, but not overly so to me and powdery in a way that I can tolerate much better than in the first version. The overall tone of this scent reminds me of Jimmy Choo Fever, but not quite as heavy and sultry--sort of like a sweeter sibling. Strikes me as appropriate for evening wear and probably for cooler temperatures as the sweet powdery aspect might get ramped up in heat or humidity. Nothing I'm going to run out and get a full bottle of (especially as I already have JC Fever), but I'm going to enjoy my sample and might get a larger decant later on.

At first very plastic. Over time it develops to less plastic-y, but that feeling still lingers. Dense fruits, sweet, blackberry, tonka, coffee. Patchouli and rose in background. Sweet, but not too much. Special dress in dark evening event. More serious than just romantic. Bottle in dark red, little bit black and with hint of silk fits this perfume. For woman who know how to wear this deep perfume. After about hour it's quite typical fruitchouli.

The dry down is delicious, a little powdery and so comforting! The nutty-almondy note gives this perfume the kindness and delicacy it was wanting in the first TOO.

Such an amazing fragance!! I totally got obsessed with it from the first sniff I got from the cap in the store. I find it very complex, somehow it manages to be a fruty gourmand scent without being too much of something. I mean, its not too fruity, its not too sweet or cloying. Its very sexy and pleasant at the same time. Love how I can smell so many notes on it, and it last a lot.

I love this perfume!! So sexy and complex. I like this better than 1.

I did not smell the blueberries

Not a huge fan of this scent. At first it’s subtle berries and almost cocoa scented then it’s like a berry explosion to my nose, but not in a good way, it smells almost cheap. Finally after a few hours the dry down is much more subtle and I don’t mind it but I don’t want to wear a perfume for hours in order to like it. Not for me.

As soon as it touches my skin I feel a slight leathery note, light but noticeable in the background. It doesn't last long but it's a small prodigy, it's not in the pyramid.
This is the phase I prefer and adore.
I can't help but really appreciate the olfactory trace that "The Only One 2" leaves.
A dessert we can enjoy with pleasure, no matter how gourmand lovers we're, imo.

Despite the really, really stupid name, I really like this perfume! I love the first one because it’s caramel, vanilla and coffee, so lovely. This one has those notes with a berry-rose-spice twist, which I really love. I have the first one in a big bottle, and want a travel size of this one.

Amazing perfume, similar to other sweet fragrances but more luxury... doesn’t matter what the name is ...

It starts out well/promising but ends up in the drydown that is so usual in many Sweet perfumes nowadays. A nutty vibe is detected. I Guess this perfume will get popular, but its not for me.

Too much of a sharp, sour berry in the dry down. I really thought I would like this one, but unfortunately it just doesn’t do it for me. The top notes are ok but as time passes it starts falling apart IMHO

Tested this today on a mall and I fell in love. I got spritz to my wrist and oh my how tasty it smelled at first! I asked for the saleswoman if there is blackberry because that was the strong note I smelled first and I was right. Its been an hour and it’s still delicious yummy scent.I keep sniffing my wrist and my boyfriend likes it. Sillage is good, not enormous. Lasts around 7hours on my dry skin. For me its juicy, yummy, delicious gourmand and would definetly recommend for gourmand lovers. Tonka bean gives it nice warm base. Rose is balancing the sweetness and berries nicely. I can’t pick up the coffee note tho. In my opinion, this is more for evening than daytime as there is deepness on it. For me - love!

Today I tested "The only one 2"on my skin, and It is sweet fruit jam, powder of roses, nice floral fruity combinations !
I am coffee lover, and don't get coffee scents, but more like caramel maybe.
The perfume is verry good for me, with and long lasting power !

i wouldnt have picked berries when i sniffed. fruity yes, like a deep maybe cooked fruit type of depth, the rose is not rosey, its supporting, yeah theres several that are in the same vein as this. still nice though.

After spraying: burnt sugar + caramel + dusty, detergent-like roses (as in Chloe)

After 30 minutes: burnt sugar + caramel + candied almonds! (scent of the air on Christmas market) + baked apples? + rose


After 2 hours: burnt sugar + caramel + yummy blackberries!

Seriously what a boring an uninspired name and bottle.

Ignore the name, give it an honest chance and smell it!

It is actually very juicy-dark-dense-soft-warm-delicious. I suck at naming specific notes, but it was nice, and I will try it more in-depth this week soon as I have time to visit the local perfume shop again.
