I love Fendi perfumes, and so I bought Furiosa blind, thinking if the bottle is so nice, the juice will be too. Well, I am certain it is well made and the ingredients are high quality, and it is somewhat oily, that means quality. It is very sweet ambery and warm, but too much so for me. My tastes have changed from vanilla, gardenia, amber (think hypnose, prada) and now I just want chypres with patchouli and greens. I'm in Ontario Canada, I am selling most of my collection, if you want this, message me.

swedishmilk15

One of the most unusual perfumes in my wardrobe, & for the better. I tend to dislike & therefore avoid pink pepper, but I was so curious about the wallflower note that I decided to risk the blind buy (and I'd at least have the cool bottle.) Baby steps. Now I'm starting to love it. SOMETIMES

Furiosa is chaotic; doesn't follow the pyramid structure really. For example, the pink pepper belongs in the base, to my nose. Gardenia up top? All the more delightful. Perfumes such as this show me pink pepper can be pivotal in adding depth and interest. I do love a scent that has my gears turning.

There is a beautiful (slight) resemblance to Dune--is that the wallflower? It is categorized as a fantasy note on this site, but there's something that grows wild in my area that looks like that picture and smells like a cross between lilac and heliotrope. Hmm.

EvaNicoleFragrance

First sniff and I was overcome with emotion. How is a fragrance this young so nostalgic? Idk but I’m all in.

Bright, sweet, heady, and deep all at the same time, this is gorgeous and is one of the more unique florals in my collection.

This scent is the culmination of every inspiring experience I’ve ever had.

It’s also the most mysterious and well put together woman alive. She was unexpected, but once she showed up, you couldn’t imagine the gathering without her, and you can’t remember much more than her.

I am incredibly grateful to have this sadly discontinued gem in my collection. This is a fragrance worth treasuring.

Hunter222

I’m just home from finding this gem at a charity shop, 50ml, 90%full, in its box, $18CAD.…it’s unreal, first sniff, I’m grinning like an idiot and only you get it.
Naming this elixir Furiosa with wallflower as a note, sly & sassy;)

Peppery sweet ambery incensey white floral enchantment! Furiosa by Fendi reminds me the tiniest bit of EL Sensuous, but it meanders off into a much brighter and "juicier" realm, despite the drier wood notes. The wallflower smells a bit spicy, almost carnation-like, which tempers the intense sweetnesss of the gardenia and jasmine. It's no insult to say that this juice almost lives up to the sheer perfection that is the bottle. Because, whoa, that bottle. It's probably the most beautiful bottle qua bottle in my entire collection, and I include all my ornate Arabian vessels!

mevans

I love the bottle. Unique and solid feeling, from the cap to the gold webbing. Longevity is average, sillage is just shy of moderate. It's one of those subtle scents that forget you're even wearing and then you move a certain way and catch this warm, inviting smokey amber. There are some white floral and slight sweet notes. But it's more a quiet, sensual feeling that it gives off. I'm glad I have a backup bottle since I'm seeing it's discontinued.

Catmo

This is pretty unique due to the wallflower note. It gives a sweetness and is really nice. I also get gardenia and what I’m assuming is the incense. As others have said, it definitely gives me sunny and warming vibes. Like the sun shining down on you and warming you while outside on a spring day. I’m glad I was able to find a 50ml bottle of this on a secondhand site.

LadyJedi

The bottle is a piece of art! I have the 30ml one and it's absolutely gorgeous. It's like a tiny golden tortoise shell and it perfectly corresponds with the juice inside. Furiosa starts citrusy and kind of herbal on my skin and then the wallflower kicks in. It's so different from what I usually wear and look for and yet I like it. It's yellow and sunny, peppery and bitter, spicy and smokey. I detect distant resemblance to Samsara but Furiosa carries an assertive modern vibe and I can't really compare it with anything else. Would I repurchase? I'm not sure really. I just prefer warmer sweeter fragrances but I guess that eventually I might get to miss Furiosa in the warm autumn days.

COLOREDGIRLSHUFFLE

I am a Fendi fanatic. For an 80's baby pouring over Vogue magazines, the Fendi brand exuded the powerhouse, severe shoulder pad, Delorean, red leather-gloved, "greed is good" feel of the '80s. Unlike its American, French, and English brand peers, the Italian fashion house made that mix of coke-fueled hedonism more earthy? Human? To me, Fendi feels like decadent fabrics, draped over a generous flesh decorated with large semi-precious stones set in 18k gold... a rosary disappearing into ample cleavage.

With the discontinuation of the Fendi scents, any perfume or cologne I come across I am buying. No questions asked and no hesitation. Fendi Furiosa was no different; as soon as I saw the gold honey comb bottle I knew it had to be mine. The opening peppery citrusy blast melds perfectly into the wallflower and gardenia. I do not pick up the jasmine, but I rarely do unless it's the prominent note. The dry down to the incense and amber combination is fist-bitingly sexy.

When I wear it, I feel like going to an Italian restaurant, with outdoor seating, ridiculously overdressed in a St Johns Knit tweed pantsuit with large hanging expensive baubles on all my extremities, eating rich pasta dishes and drinking decadent pinot noirs, while punctuating my conversation heavily with my hands.

Fendi Furiosa smells fabulously flamboyant. It has an arm's length projection on me, and the sillage is decent. It lasts a good 4-6 hours for me. I love it.

SadieBluesLady

From the very beginning I get the gardenia/jasmine and it's gorgeous!! I seldom wear florals but this one gets added to my short list. It was a very happy birthday gift to myself and a blind buy.

AlaskanAngel

This is Sophia Loren as a passionate prostitute in the 1960s film, "Marriage Italian Style!" Bold, happy, sexy, unapologetically enjoying her work... Automatically enriching every life she touches.

NOTE
I DON'T understand how this can be compared to TF BLACK ORCHID or Mugler's ANGEL, those are both patchouli bombs and this has none!

NoorbBelgium

I have no words to describe how good this is

Invisibeau

It smells like a middle aged lady in a chic white pant suit, strutting about in a pair of black patent heels. Powerful, intimidating and sexy. I love the smell, too bad it gives me a headache.

MrsMRe

I wore the original Fendi in the 80s and I'm surprised that more people haven't commented on how similar Furiosa is. It reminds me of the unapologetically sexy/spicy 80s ambers like K de Krizia, KL, and Moschino. I have been searching for something similar and could not be happier about this find. The weather is just turning from warm to hot where I live, so I will be curious to see how it performs during the different seasons. For anyone missing the singular Fendi/Fendi, Furiosa isn't an exact match, but it's similar enough to be delightful.

TheMunchkinlander

Yellow. It's dry but sweet and mellow, powdery in a make-upy kind of way. I think of (YELLOW) sunflowers, yarrows, dahlias and honey bees. Maybe it's the smoke, amber and pepper that give it this summery midday feeling. While the bergamot fades out quickly –if you believe it is ever present– the dry down becomes this eternal warm, sunny, yellow embrace. I do agree that the fall suits this perfume best, but alas how I love wearing a spritz or two in the summer! It brings the outdoors in when I'm stuck working at my desk.

iselhr

Furiosa is delicious! One of my recently discoveries and among new favorites.

twoski

Initially i get a sour citrusy blast of pink pepper but it's not unpleasant. The florals keep it from going into the sharp or bitter territory.

I get mostly pink pepper with a woody backdrop, with the florals pulling it into feminine territory ever so slightly.

As the pepper fades you're left with some spicy white florals. Someone else painted the mental image of a businesswoman wearing leather under her business casual clothes and i'd say that imagery is spot-on. I think this one seems also quite wearable year-round. It doesn't feel heavy enough to be cloying in hotter weather, i could be wrong though.

I think even a man could rock this if they were okay with the floral element. It's not sugary sweet by any means.

This one is a love for me. I think once the initial pink pepper overdose subsides after 20 minutes it becomes pretty mass pleasing.

I like a daring perfume that pushes the boundaries of convention a bit (which many designer fragrances seem hesitant to do, lest they become too challenging to wear) and this one did not disappoint.

Sad to see this one discontinued. Glad i got a bottle while i could, it's beautiful.

demhayerawsah

I found this online at a good price and the notes had me very interested. I am a huge fan of Tom Ford Black Orchid and Velvet Orchid. Furiosa is NOT a dupe to either of these - but they are maybe in the same neighborhood.

Whereas TF makes you swoon, Furiosa does enough just to get noticed. The pink pepper is fiery and is a strong opener. On my skin the drydown feels more floral than it is incense-y. This doesn't make Furiosa bad, it's just not a showstopper for me. Within 30 minutes it is a comfortable (and comforting) fragrance and one that I feel comfortable wearing to work. As the day goes on, I get whiffs of the "lipstick" note in Fendi's L'Aquarossa - my all time favorite Fendi perfume!

Overall I am happy with my purchase and I adore the bottle!

AllisonNW

Wow. This is gorgeous. It’s somewhat like a more palatable Black Orchid. I love BO but even I can agree it’s a bit much. This smells like a sleek rich lady CEO with red lipstick, hidden piercings, and a closet full of latex.

treez.are

I read some review that reminds of Si Lolita Si expecting it to smell similar. But all i get free furiosa is something like dried wilted yellow flowers and pungent pepper that is very harsh and masculine. It reminds me of some a lily and pepper body spray i used but that was kinda smooth. This furiosa is a bit harsh for me, and i don't like it doesn't work for me.

judeaqua

It does smell interesting in the first 30 minutes with flowers swaying profusely in the summer breeze. And soon, it turns soapy on me and reminds me a lot of Lancome Miracle 🤷🏻 don't know if this happens to other users, but that's what I get. Too peppery and soapy and the flowers just disappear like zap! I'll try it again and see what went wrong, but not that I'm complaining. Had miracle on my mind for quite some time now 💕

Edit: I tried it again as I am not giving up, had high expectations from this one. I realised it is a versatile scent and smells different in varying climates. The first time I tried it, the weather was cooler, it did a pepper bomb on me and later when it was warm outside, I got to understand the beauty of it, it did a floral soapy dried flowers and dried leaves on me. It truly smells like autumn. The amber and flowers kind of remind me of Dune, which I began to love.

Helena Voltaire

Was very intrigued by this one because of the reviews that said it kind of smells like black orchid from TF. I personally do not like that one, but Furiosa is just such a good fragrance on its own. I am getting ''goth taking a walk on a late autumn evening while fog is slowly creeping up''. the pink pepper is strong at first, but it mellows down after 10-20 minutes. This perfume grows on you, it's feisty but at the same time you will not get complains about it being too overpowering. get it while you can for the dark academia vibes, you will not regret it. Sad it's discontinued, smells really expensive too for its price.

oh and on top of that, the bottle is just fantastic. :)

loraxsix

Wow, I am so in love! Furiosa is the perfect name for this feminine scent-shifting gem! It is indeed the chameleon of perfumes, as previous reviews mention. I have been wearing this throughout a Texas winter... which means the temperatures have ranged from the 20's to the 80's in just the last few weeks! Furiosa morphs with the weather flawlessly. On frozen nights, it projects more warm, ambery and close to the skin. On the warm nights, the florals and incense pop. The warmer the weather, the more chameleon it behaves... showcasing each note as it takes you on a scent adventure. The jasmine in this is my favorite of any perfume, and the incense is perfect. Not too faint, yet not overwhelming. Not too woody. The projection also rises with the temperature. It lasts on my skin for about 8 hours, and lingers on clothing for over 24 hours. Smells amazing on a leather jacket, as all offerings from Fendi do. The warmer weather vibe is more dark and mysterious. The gilded turtle bottle is beautiful and unique!

GUADELUPA

Beautiful fragrance! I don't know what wallflower is, but it smells so good. Also I can smell the sunflower, though it is not listed here. It's very rare fragrance today. Bottle is wonderful, like precious stones. Masterpiece of Fendi.

soapycast

so warm so sweet so GOOD! jesus! this gives me alien vibes, both scent wise and uniqueness wise. very strong pepper in this one, the jasmine makes it so amazingly seductive and sweet, and the incense keeps it from getting cloying - this is an extremely well-balanced fragrance. signature scent worthy, if i wanted a signature scent. someone mentioned morticia addams would wear this and i 100% agree. although anyone can wear perfume, furiosa could be a fragrance that wears you... this is for the dark, mysterious, grunge/goth goddess/god who makes eye contact with strangers on the street. on purpose.

Compositeur

To my nose this smells like an elegant aromatic cologne, with extra incense. I mean something similar in vibe to Antaeus (vibe not notes).
It says 'for women'. I am getting a bit impatient with gender marketing (it's still marketing!), but hopefully people will see through it one day.
The bottle is a work of art. The designer deserves awards (plural). We should start asking Fragrantica to include the names of bottle designers.

Does anyone else get an 'olive oil' note at the beginning? Maybe it's the combination of other notes, but I smell 'olive grove in summer' for the first 5-10 minutes.
Update: turns out that's the wallflower note.

VeroMikaela

Furiosa was born under the star of a house of perfumes famous in other times but entered a shadow today, at least from a perfumery point of view. So she was widowed by the publicity she deserved. And that would have propelled her into the spotlight. And on the shelves of perfumeries. It is a classic but also modern perfume, it has a natural elegance, versatility and above average performance. If you like an absolutely unique green floral scent and Chanel no 19 seems to you not the most suitable, it is worth trying Furiosa. It is both amber and slightly woody, with depth. I seem to feel a little labdanum, although not listed, maybe from incense. It has about the same vibe as Essence Aromatique for it, but it lacks citrus. In Furiosa bergamot it feels extremely little, only in the first minutes after application. Furiosa has the specific note cheirantus . I took it blind, following the reviews on .com and I confess that it is a wonderful purchase and my collection would not have been complete without it. . Unfortunately, it seems that all Fendi perfumes are discontinued. :(
Let's not forget: the bottle is a real jewel, metal and crystal! My beloved turtle !!! <3

Murmur123123

This is not as "furiosa" as I expected. It is a warm and sweet floral note, kind of reminds me of high end face cream smells. It is suitable for slightly more mature women in my opinion, a good choice for autumn and winter everyday as it is non-offensive. Lasting power is okay but projection is not strong.

Yes Malena

To me it reads as basically fruity. I was hoping to get gardenia. I am not familiar with Wallflower, but thank you to middle25 for this description: "Wallflowers are also known as stock, an annual flower big in cottage gardens that has a spicy-sweet scent." I'm guessing that's what's coming forward so confidently on me. Fragrantica describes it as a fantasy floral, which makes sense, because I just get peach. I want more of the incense and amber. Apparently wallflower has a history in herbalism of treating heart issues. To me it is the heart of this fragrance, and it burns there continually. Furiosa does charge ahead undaunted. Simple, colorful, proud, loyal.

TabledThoughts

A very grown up feminine amber and incense.
Smells expensive like Fendi couture.
I'd been searching for a pleasant amber perfume and this one suits me.
Fortunately, not a loud scent.
Palo Santo in the base adds interest.
Sits close to the skin and tempts you to lean in.
Sharp packaging.
Glad I bought this considering the brand has discontinued their fragrance line.

drugstore classics

Pink pepper-amber-floral that somehow reminds me a touch of Addict.

Strangely enough, Furiosa also faintly reminds me of a distant cousin of Ange ou Demon. But definitely uniquely itself, not a dupe for either. I'm QUITE surprised, as Pink Pepper generally does not suit me. The scent is strong but softly dries down to a quite creamy sweetness. Having never in my life smelled 'wallflower' (hehe!), I wonder if the reason Furiosa smells unique to me is the guaiac wood? Certainly it is 10 times better than your average designer release without smelling niche or challenging.

I suspect it's considered by some 'too mature', but to me this is a people pleaser. Good for amber lovers or floral lovers who want added richness. I note a bit of powder that could annoy some. It is more creamy and dry than powdery, however.

Recommended!

miriamcarothers

This would be batshit HAWXT on a dude!

Guy wears girls

This shines for this guy in the Florida heat. Easy on the trigger.

AlaskanAngel

Oh, yeah, it starts with a slap but quickly turns to caressing! Dry down smooths out to an unusual blend that I enjoy. Perhaps it is the wallflower or guaiac wood that keeps it from being another generic, sweet amber-floral. As someone who prefers unisex scents and has a large collection, I find this easily unisex, rich, and interesting. Very happy to have a full (beautiful) bottle but I would not buy a back up as it's a bit too dramatic (and sunshiney) to be a signature scent on me!

TonysPerfume

Furiosa.. which in Italian means angry/furious as in I'm about to explode, the name is actually appropriate, this perfume is a slap in your face! It might be the pink pepper blast that you get as soon as you vaporize it, but then this angry woman starts to calm down.. and all you get is this beautiful sweet jasmine, mixing with this amber and this incense that goes so well together as if they are made for each other.
For that confident person that knows what is doing.
So sad it has been discontinued, she deserved more.

alexz_88

I got it as a blind-buy when I saw the price tag. To me it reminds me of an old church or cathedral - quite dark, I get a lot of incense and a very beautiful peppery note. A stunner, especially for fall and winter. Mysterious. Definitely unique. Unfortunately it's been discontinued so I when I had an opporutnity I went and bought another bottle ASAP once I smelled it for the first time.

IngaMM

Oh this is loooveleeey! :-)
But hang on, where is it gone???

Scent: Starts flowery and fresh, then quickly turns spicy and aromatic.
It’s divine. Without a doubt one of a kind.

Silage & Longevity: Sadly zero.

Value for money: Got 30ml for £20.
Am I disappointed? No, I’m glad I have it as there aren’t many scents like this around, especially not for this price. Furiosa is for true perfume connoisseurs who don’t have to leave a trail behind them all the time, but are equally happy enjoying a scent having a quiet moment on their own.

Pamilo

This gorgeous scent is a truly heady blend of powerful hot-earth florals, incense, and sweet wood. The bergamot, noticeable on application, becomes rapidly obscured by a potent combination of radiant gardenia, exuberant Jasmine and smokey incense. Aspects of this is reminiscent of the heat and aromas in souks and bazaars of north Africa and the near east. Also evocative of the jetset who frequented the nicer restaurants and hotels of beautiful Beirut before civil war in the 1970s blighted the region.

All that stored-up heat mentioned above settles to an authentically exciting floral-oriental. Even after a long day it remains a delectable stayer whether on the skin or on clothes. Furiosa always gets noticed and draws plenty of compliments.

The eye-catching flacon that recalls a tortoise carapace is chic and modern, and has the heft and finish consistent with the quality of the contents. In summary, I can't say enough how thrilled I've been having encountered Furiosa. My first few months with Furiosa has been impassioned if not quite "fierce". An apt name then! It is definitely worth searching and trying. Enthralled.

kylexora

It took me years of owing this perfume before I can write up this review. It's hard and complicated enough to describe about this perfume. It smell familiar, yet so different - peculiar. Something in the notes make the perfume less harmony and contradict to the other notes but I can't, nope, I don't know what is the disturbing notes that kills the harmony of this perfume. I guess its the guaiac wood as I get the same uneasy feeling from Oro by Roberto Cavalli. Anyway, this is my least favorite perfume and I only wore it twice. Staying power is around 5-6 hours with moderate projection. Sillage? Not so much. Suite colder season better. Discontinue, yet not worth it to pay hefty price to own.

Warmbroodje

This smells like a lovebaby between Si Lolita (Christine Nagel & Benoist Lapouza) and Comme des Garcons 2 (Mark Buxton).
Very, very nice perfume, if this kind of fragrance is up in your alley. It is never harsh or loud, the drydown, after 8 hours of wearing, is a bit sweet.
And oh, what a beautiful bottle! I'm a perfune addict and always on the hunt for a new gem. This is one of them.

It's an addiction

Still need to further try this out, but first impression gives me a mix of Roberto Cavalli EDP and Jil Sander No. 4.

Singabera

Based on reviews I expected something really special, but in fact I got quite typical loud 80's style honey florals with warm ambery base.
Beginning is indeed pepper+bergamot, very obvious, but it's gone in 5 minutes...
It does not anyhow similar to TF or Dior Dune, nothing in common.
While I would say it has similar vibe to Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers or David Yurman - notes are different, but impression is similar to me, you need to like that very direct and almost no nuances loud flowers which take all the space around.
On majority of people it would sound old fashioned and outdated in my opinion, only type of ladies I can imagine that is Italian nonna in tweed Chanel jacket, with lots of golden jewelry sitting on terrace with cigarette and brandy :-)

middle25

I bought this due to the interesting reviews here. I only got a small spray thinking if I love it, I can pick up a bigger bottle later. Now it looks like, from other reviews, it has been discontinued. However, as of 12/5/2020, it's still available online as far as I can see.

When I first spray this, I get a lot of pink pepper and amber. It settles down in about 30 minutes and now I can smell some gardenia, a little jasmine, and the wallflower. Wallflowers are also known as stock, an annual flower big in cottage gardens that has a spicy-sweet scent. They are not only beautiful, they are highly fragrant and easily grown from seed. This spicy-sweet, almost clove-like smell carries the perfume on into the next flowery phase and then mixes with the incense/amber at the bottom. This is one perfume that changes constantly, different notes swirling around all the time. I smell strong incense one minute, then gardenia the next. On me, this lasts around 8 hours and sillage is moderate. I think a man could pull it off.

perfumequeen5

I'm surprised this is being slept on but that's ok because it can be our hidden gem! Furiosa is stunning and the bottle elevates it even further. I'm not too fond of peppery notes in perfume but this is how you do it right! The white florals and amber counterbalance the pink pepper perfectly. It's as if each note is curated like a perfect bouquet of flowers. On my first spray I found there was a unique complexity that made it hard to describe and that's what I love about it. If I had to simplify it I would say it reminds me of pencil shavings but in the best possible way. Furiosa is such a unique scent and a new classic in my eyes.

I found an 100ml for $65 - I had no clue this was discontinued until I read other reviews but I'm so glad I have a site that stocks this for a discounted price!

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

stacia79

I blind bought this due to the cool bottle. It looks like a tortoise shell. The scent itself is really unique, and as you can see from the other reviews, difficult to describe accurately. It's hot peppery, smoky, amber, floral, powdery... it's all of these things drifting in and out in layers, like ballet dancers who leap off into the wings only to reappear onstage a few minutes later. This is very distinctive, in Fendi style.

mirrorghost

this smells odd on me yet kind of good, and also a bit strong. it’s like a golden floral-amber with hints of something sweet and almost plummy. there’s also creamy and smoky nuances too, as well as something bordering on savory. i’m not sure what to make of this one honestly. it’s certainly really interesting. i think i need to retry in cooler weather.

alit

This is absolutely amazing and massively underrated, what a gem! I blind bought it out of curiosity and after reading some reviews but still had no real idea what to expect. One word stuck in my mind reading those reviews: chameleon! It is true! This is very unusual scent, it reveals itself in stages. Yet, it is somehow familiar to me-was it popular at some point?! I don't know. But it feels classic and even a bit retro sometimes, BUT at the same time modern and not dated. Very weird! Spicy, hot spicy, floral, smoky, woody.... it is all of this but very unusual combo. It feminine, assertive, daring, loud and spicy in the beginning and very beautifuly floral at the drydown. If this had a niche brand name on, I am sure it would have gotten tons of raving reviews, indeed it's a niche quality here that you are getting for a laughable price. As it is discontinued, the price will probably go up and I would grab a back up bottle and would advice any perfume lover to try this. Proceed with caution but do try it, it's so worth it!

seamagik

As children in summer we would run around all day in the sun, climbing trees, riding bicycles, rolling around in the grass. Then at dusk it was time for a bath, dinner, storytelling and bed. After our baths we would douse ourselves in a mentholated dusting powder, great for prickly heat and the itching from rolling in the grass.

This is so nostalgic for me. It smells like that powder, but more expensive. It makes me feel safe and loved and cozy.

It's a slightly peppery, bittersweet smokey floral. I don't know what wallflowers smell like, but the jasmine and gardenia are present. What does it for me is the balsamic and smokey vibe. Smelling it today it's sweeter than when I normally wear it in autumn and winter when it reveals a spectacular bitter bite.

summersunshine

Man, I totally feel the reviewer MsHeisenberg when she said Furiosa is "her precious!" I was totally blown away by this and an so sad they no longer make it. I kept debating buying a backup of the 100ml, until it sold out anywhere (non-resale) I could find it in the UK. WAAH! I will have to make my current 50ml last.

This perfume is beautiful, dark and interesting while still being very feminine and wearable. I find it similar (although not a dupe) to Tom Ford's Black Orchid. Its got that same dark, floral, gothic vibe but not quite as heavy (or long lasting). Its also a bit younger. I love Black Orchid but my mother always thought I smelled "like an old lady" when I wore it around her. This doesn't have any of that. If you like Black Orchid, I think you will like this, its like BO for daytime. Or if you want to like BO but find it too much, you also might like this.

ecofreak2001

Are you kidding....this perfume is gorgeous! It has a perfect Gothic vibe. An elegant smokey flower scent. I imagine Morticia Addams wearing this. It's not very furious though; this is very feminine and classy.

Apiaceae

Furiosa is just a bit spicy. No anger here.
I mainly get a sweet pepper that is subtle and held back by florals and a tiny amount of smokyness. Lasts well, around 6-8 h on me, but doesn't project that much.
It's one that I reach all the time because of the the great composition. Not a fave but definitely close to. I am happy I have a large bottle!

What a difference 2 1/2 years can make! I originally reviewed this in Oct. 2017, at the beginning of my perfume journey and development as a full fledged perfumista. I have to say that I still get the same primary notes - amber, incense, etc. - but my nose now picks up on a sweetness and floral delicacy I missed the first time around. I still don't get any gardenia or jasmine. What made me laugh though was that at that point my reference and favorite write florals were Bloom and Alien - two perfumes I still love very much, but far from the first I reach for when I need a white flower fix! Apparently 2 1/2 years is a lifetime in the world of fragrance! Oh - and I still have no idea what wallflower is supposed to smell like, but if it's the big note here, I have to say I like it!

ivadim

Специален. Разкрива се когато иска. Но винаги е много женствен, кремообразен, красив. Не е нахален, но много траен. Бутилката е бижу! Името му вероятно е просто игра на думи, но пък може и да е защото не се разкрива на всеки:)

Pianomelody

Wow, a purely autumnal perfume, a gloomy afternoon... an exciting and mysterious perfume, the incense is extraordinary here, it gives the perfume an almost "Gothic" atmosphere. On the bottom a beautiful amber, i must say that surprised me, and i will definitely take a bottle because it is well made and adapts to my being. Introverted perfume, which reflects me a lot. I love it!

Sillage: 7.5/10
Longevity: 8.5/10
Scent: 8.5/10

Overall: 8.5/10

tessiebee

I was interested in the wallflower notes so I took a punt on a small bottle.
It's interesting.
The initial spray is harsh so give it time to settle down. After about 20 mins, I do get a sense of wallflowers and incense. You know how you have white florals and yellow florals? This is deep yellow, shading to orange (amber!?) florals. Feels velvety almost. Not a gourmand either, which sets it apart from the crowd at present.
At less than 20gbp a small tacky bottle it is a reasonable blind buy.

___

Now I've played with it a bit, the longevity is pretty weak on me, and the top and middle notes just go poof - straight to amber basenotes within the hour.

Juma

Oh, this is divine. So strong resembles to TF Black Orchid but it's more wearable, you can wear it... FT BO wears me when testing.. Very potent fragrance with huge sillage and longevity: Woody notes with amber play the main rule and I strongly smell chocolate and patchouli which is not listed. My husband wears it too, totally unisex.

goingblonde

A beautiful deep woody/amber that develops a light smokiness after awhile .
Silage and longevity to rival any powerhouses !A little goes along way . The bottle is beautiful as well . You get all around elegance with this !

shinayu

Got a 30mL of this and have to say...glad that is the size I went for. Bought this from eBay and thought since the bottle is cute, price is decent, the brand no longer exists and I have nothing smells like this (not that I have sampled it before). I thought I will just buy the small size. This is a unique scent that I feel is more niche. It is definitely too mature and old for me as I am still in my mid 20s. I mean...you definitely can't wear this under a casual situation...you need to dress up for this scent. It's woody-spicy-floral that is dense and also vintage. I knew I'd not like the scent yet I have purchased it....just cos the price was good. :/

Bubbles1964

This is really very interesting and I will have a hard time explaining it. Another name for Furiosa is Curiosa, it’s not niche but it’s also not a mainstream scent. I’m pretty sure I don’t own anything else like it.

The combination of notes lends to a peculiar overall feeling: initially on me it’s very “jammy” with lots of citrus, pepper and sweetness. I don’t pick up the floral notes individually, only some woods and I don’t know what else in the drydown.

This is an oddball scent for sure.... I just get an overall “perfume” smell. I like it but I’m not in love. I do think Furiosa packs a lot of bang for your buck. I will keep my eye open for a bargain. Apparently this can be found for a good deal on eBay, and if you’re lucky TJMax and other discount stores.

APULIAN

sophisticated yet wild, modern and charming. great blend of woody and floral notes, with soft touches of honey, leather and amber. i like a lot on a strong, confident woman. for 25 and up. per una donna sicura e conquistatrice.

my vote-9

in one word- furiosa

Rorysmom

Just gorgeous! I get honey and leather on the dry down.

gtabasso

not woody or oriental; fruity floral with vanilla in the top and lots of pepper; smells like a REALLY good modern fruitchouli

WalewskaNoir

First impression, mmmmhm, a good blind buy. Thanks fragranticans! But why z smell it so shortly? I Will test it more and then give a summary.

tittertat

If youre looking for a strong, woody scent with a rich undertone give this a try. Id call this opulent. I got a small sample at a local perfume shop, loved the bottle and the price was good. Cannot say its a bad or even unpleasant scent but there's something heavily woody...maybe the oud but it smells of mahogany to me. Like dressers and drawers, if this had a color I'd say its a deep reddish brown. The beginning is peppery and there's a tiny bit of herbal lemony scent, and something very faint but akin to dill pickles, but its 90% wood. Very good/ strong sillage and longevity. Lasted all day but lasted 3+ days on my coat.
Just not my type of scent.

Venusia

Diluted "Precious oud " it is, greener at start, weaker and not so buttery, with lower longevity. Still pretty.

corkscrewcurly

I can see there is some speculation in reviews below about whether Furiosa is discontinued. I uploaded the below to another Fendi perfume page:-

I was trying to find out some information about Fendi perfume and emailed Fendi direct as there was no information on the website about fragrances.

This is an extract from the email (dated January 3 2017) I received in response:

"We regret to inform you that Fendi fragrances are no longer available for purchase as Fendi does not produced (sic) them anymore."

In summary - if you love the perfume you wear, buy backup bottles NOW before the prices go through the roof.

Hope this helps you.

Tigi

I received this elegant fragrance from the kids (DIL & SIL) for Christmas this year.
Starting with the bottle: it's gorgeous! It does look reminiscent of a jeweled turtle in a way; at any rate, the bottle alone is divine.
And now to the fragrance:
AHHHHH, gorgeous! I'm glad that this was gifted to me as I likely would never have thought to buy it myself had I only found FF here and seen the notes pyramid first. And I would have missed out! This fragrance is lovely to me. I agree that she does read more as a woody-floral than an oriental as neither the pink pepper nor the incense is domineering; none of the notes are out of balance, in fact. I adore the spicy, warm, sweet and floral fragrance!
Regarding the gorgeous, spicy pink-pepper, if Lancome's Miracle works for you, you might give Fendi's Furiosa a go.
This is a very well-blended, beautiful and warm fragrance, just gorgeous! I was already wearing Shalimar EDP when I received this on Christmas Eve and found that she melded right in beautifully. Now that I'm wearing her on her own, though, she's even more beautiful. FF sweetens as she dries down, soft, warm, closer and as comforting as combed cotton.
I'm gobsmacked that FENDI fragrances are (albeit recently) discontinued. (It's face-palm-worthy).

Fragrance: 10/10: woody, sweet, spicy, elegant, feisty, unique, gorgeous!!!
Sillage: Soft to Huge, depending upon application.
Longevity: Moderate or better, also depending upon application.

ETA: THIS is my new heroin. I'm devastated that she's been discontinued and am praying that SOME company (looking at Elizabeth Arden and Parfums International) will purchase the license to continue creating this elegant masterpiece of inimitable, flawless perfumery.
You know that frantic, panicky "I must get as much of this as I can!" feeling? Yeah, I have that going on with specific regard to Fendi's Furiosa. To the point of tunnel vision, and will likely select backups of this as my anniversary present.
It's THAT good. In fact, I'm kind of reticent about sharing the experience for fear of this unicorn disappearing from store shelves far too quickly.

ETA (II): I am Gollum. Fendi Furiosa IS My Precious, and a 3.3 ounce back-up is on the way.

UnearthlyApothecary

I don’t get the negative reviews at all. Furiosa smells amazing, woody floral notes with a delicious ambered incense base. There is a slight resemblance I agree, to Black Orchid. This is much more wearable though. This reads more woody floral then oriental to me. The silage is pretty good, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for great longevity.

anilasula0

Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum Roberto Cavalli they seem to be alike a bit.

freddinos

Blind purchase, lured by the fabulous notes and reviews.
Wow, this smells so much like my nemesis, Black Orchid. I get intense woody notes over a somewhat cucumber/aquatic base, much like BO’s chocolate over cucumber effect (one of Luca Turin’s description I found spot on).
Furiosa has an Italian vibe going on, which I love, and despite it not being my style it leaves a beautiful trail, smells better wafting around you rather than sniffed straight from the skin.
I didn’t find it particularly incencey or floral, just Black Orchid light really. Can be found at discounters for very affordable prices nowadays.

Vegas Pauli

This doesn't smell much like Truth or Dare, but Furiosa has that same thick white floral sweetness in the beginning. Once it dries a little it becomes smoother as the amber and wood gives this a nice backbone. It's perfumy and noticeable thus not really appropriate for work, as this is more dressed up than dressed down. The dry down is slightly chalky, kind of powdery but more resinous while the incense is like a whisper, very faint but it's definitely there. The opening is all woman, and might be a challenge for some guys to wear. Once it dries down this can be unisex as the amber and incense plays out but it's still kind of sweet. Maybe like a lighter, more floral Champaca Absolute with the cognac taken out and jasmine mixed in. Overall this a fine fragrance, very well made and high quality. Paid almost nothing for it at Marshall's. If you see Furiosa at a deal, grab it as you won't be disappointed. This is an undercover gem from Fendi, thumbs way up.

Konga5000

So I'm standing in Marshalls with my phone in hand reading FRAGRENTICA's reviews of this and they were overwhelming!

BLIND BUY....in my car......spritz................Oh crap. Another "fake amber" scent; that I've smelled like 456 times already.
. Plop.

Miffy8900

Blind bought this, as I found it online at a good price, and it seemed to have reviews which pointed in a direction of something I probably would like. I was right :) I am totally in love with this baby. First of all; THE BOTTLE LOOKS AMAZING ! Like a cute little vintage turtle figurine made out of some sort of precious stone, like a citrine, with a perfect onyx like lid. AMAZING bottle. One of the best I have seen in quite some time. Very well made and cute. Packaging same. Personally I have no idea why it is called Furiosa - I see no resemblence to being furious (which , BTW, isn't something many women would like to be linked to being, is it? Fierce, yes, furious, no).

Looks besides; the juice itself is amazing as well. First blast is very strong almost masculine citrusy bergamot. Very heavy, but then it dries down to a smooth, sexy, ambery leather and incense kinda woody scent. Smells like a very sexy woman in an old school Hollywood night club. It has a very discreet but actually sexy smoky feel to it. Like, almost like a cigarette smell. Cigarettes, on an sequin dress you wore to a party. I guess it is because of the incense.

After a while, it become more tame and mild; more flowery. Especially gardenia stands out to me, but there are definetely some other white flowers luring underneath the surface. They have a cute, almost vintage 'heavy-flower' feel to them, if that makes sense. The same feeling of 'heavy' flowers you get from old soap and cosmetics and hairspray. No fresh, girly flowers here - perfect :)

I can definetely understand the comparisons to Tom Ford Black Orchid, as they are quite similar in the smoky, unisex vibe, but they're still very different - this baby is no dupe. As someone wrote in a previous review; this is a very good choice if you like Tom Ford Black Patchouli, but find it too heavy.

A nice little gem - a true, powerhouse night wear fragrance. Projection is fantastic - a little goes a long way with this girl :) Lasting power is great too.

All in all a great little masterpiece from Fendi, in my opinion .

mapache

Like others, I finally got this at my local Marshall's for $16.99. It opens with the pepper/woody-ish combo, then later in the dry down comes the gardenia and other white florals...however the florals are not "center stage". I feel this is very unisex. the notes seem to balance well together. The name FURIOSA is a little mis-leading IMO. All in all...not a bad scent !! The opening can fool you, so take time with this one..the drydown is worth the wait. Does not project alot, and the longevity is very "medium". I would say it is a safe day scent.
6.5/10

edit: Upon weraing/testing this one a few times....today...I am now getting the gardenia/jasmine combo on top...it is a chameleon scent on me...going thru changes each time I wear it....(which is a good thing !!!)

churinl

I don't get it! I love white floral scents, particularly jasmine and gardenia, but I get nothing floral here at all. It's all a burst of citrus followed by a sweet amber, smoky incense, and resinous woods. As for my beloved white flower fix, right now I am sticking with my Mugler Alien and my Gucci Bloom, though Furiosa will retain a place in my fragrance wardrobe and used when the mood strikes me.

Betsey

I saw this at TJ Maxx for $16.99 and thought it was worth risking a blind buy. It's lovely, elegant, and definitely smells more expensive than 17 bucks. But.... There is something lacking. Some unexpected or surprising note that would give it a unique personality. Something to excite, annoy, or provoke a stronger reaction than just, it's nice. I love the B.O. funk in Angel, and the whiff of cigarette smoke in the original Addict, so maybe it's just me that thinks plain old lovely isn't enough. I'll wear Furiosa to work and like it. But I won't love it.

trabuquera

A cheapie with charm and some unexpected strength and depth. Nice burst of citrus in the beginning then a little swirl of amber and smoke kick in along with the pepper. I'd adore this if it stayed the way that it smells about 45 minutes in forever - the pepper is exhilarating, zingy and tickly... but sadly the amber begins to edge out the more individual things, and it ends up as a pleasant but not all that exciting floral-amber. I don't really like florals and I'm amber-ambivalent - yet still I liked and admired this a lot.

It really is not mysterious, or exotic, or furious in any way - it's mellow golden sunshine, not simmering smoking fury - but you might be surprised. Much more mainstream than niche but none the worse for that. Doesn't smell like a million dollars, or of old money, but its bang for buck is still way way above the norm. It's available in the UK at *very* reasonable price so is worth experimenting with - and buying up loads if you like it, if all Fendi perfumes are really discontinued.

Bubu del Fiore

I believed this fragrance are more for the cold weather, but I sprayed yesterday at middle of summer time. I just surprized very different feeling gave it to me.
In the cold weather I feel more warm Wallflower that makes me under the sunny warm place and I enjoyed every time I use it, yesterday I found out more Gardenia Jasmine and Amber that give me sensual summer time feeling.
I love Furiosa more and more, and I'm very happy that I blind bought it!

arefuthescroob

Very nice amber with florals and pine notes. It's a sweetish pine scent, which is very beautiful and feminine, yet fresh and unique. Furiosa is definitely a good name for this fragrance.

shushkin

Mmm an interesting fragrance. I'm not always good with white florals but this works. The amber and spicey fresh wallflower notes warm up and soften the white flowers. I like the sweet zing of the lime which lightens everything. I can't say I find it a particularly harsh or angry fragrance and not sure where the oud is. The drydown is a deal breaker for me. Its just flat and too masculine.
Moderate longevity and sillage on me.

Contessa01

This one came and went so quickly I didn't even notice it on the market! I don't understand Fendi and their approach to marketing and maintaining their perfumes for sale. Everything just gets discontinued which is exasperatingly frustrating. This one is quite different from some of my other Fendi's. It is a spicy lime scent with floral notes.

camden-girl

My hubby said bottle looks like a hand grenade in the advert as the actress throws it down in anger I had to agree he was on to something then when you concider it's name is furious it would make sense a bit lol :) I love Fendi theorema . I'd love to try this one day !!!

e9rul7

Absolutely in love with this beauty. I highly recommend it mainly for office use but of course, it is perfect for evening and romantic wear as well. I find it to be extremely versatile and sexy! Give it a chance ;)

Marco<3

hagertygal

Poor Fendi. I have no idea why they even make perfumes, when they devote ZERO time to marketing them??? Furiosa barely had time to collect dust on the shelves before it got axed.

Furiosa was a poor name choice for this gentle fragrance, but it WAS GOOD!

I love the dose of lime, which lingers, mixing with the amber and gardenia. Longevity and silage are excellent!!!

I was happily able to score some large 3.3 ounce bottles for under 40 bucks each.....and I scooped up TEN of them!

(It was on eBay.....sadly, they are all gone at that price.)

ticalica

Absolutely in love with this scent because every time I sniff it, I am reminded of the interesting facets this scent has. It kind of resembles the smell of pencil sharpenings but in a sweeter more floral manner. It is unique in its own persona and needs confidence to be pulled off with élan

deda147

I bought Furiosa mainly because Luca Turin's review piqued my interest. I thought, why not; this one might become a collector's item since it has been in production for only one year and all Fendi fragrances are discontinued, and the note pyramid seemed quite good.

The first time I smelled it, my first thought was - oh no. It features the same opening as many of its contemporaries: Fruity, bright pink pepper, underlined by the citrusy character of bergamot. I'm not a real fan of the opening since it's quite powerful and fruity notes don't always enamor me.
The opening persists for about 15 minutes and then the florals start to show up. Gardenia takes the main stage, showing off with her radiance and slight creaminess; at the same time, the jasmine and stock act as background singers; jasmine providing the sweetness and the stock casts a slight, spicy veil over the composition.
The gardenia starts to mellow out , retaining it's creamy facet, and melts together with the jasmine and stock. Amber appears and gives the composition it's warm, plushy character. Guaiac wood provides a woody tinge and I can also detect a slight whisper of incense.
The drydown is creamy amber, lightly spiced and complemented with some powder. I can still smell the gardenia/jasmine every now and then, though.

Sillage is huge in the beginning and is quite powerful during Furiosa's development. It's longevity is also great. The whole composition seemed vaguely similar to something I had smelled before, and as two reviewers aforementioned, Furiosa has some connection to Black Orchid, or rather it's flanker - Voile de Fleur. Furiosa is Voile de Fleur's sister; they're pretty much alike in composition, being both luminous compositions, except Furiosa is a bit more one-dimensional: it misses the brightness of the ylang ylang/cassis and the sweetness of the plum. However, Furiosa consists of VdF best aspects; it's just a sepia, amber tinged version of the latter.

All in all, Furiosa is nothing ground-breaking, but it is very pretty and very well balanced. It is lush and elegant. Even though the florals and amber are quite sweet, it isn't toothachingly so. It would have benefited from a bit more guaiac wood and incense, though.

Regarding Luca Turin's comment on Furiosa being a plushy masculine; I think most men would still find it too feminine in the opening and middle stages. However, the drydown is firmly unisex.
Is it worth buying against huge prices, simply because of it's discontinuation? To be honest, I'd say no, but I like it *a lot* better than most recent launches. I'm sad to see it disappear of the shelves so fast. So if you're into white floral centred perfumes with a warm, woody background, I'd say, give Furiosa a try.

tanya.love700

I know some people dont dig this scent, but I really love this perfume for whatever reason. Its just so unusual. Great for fall time.

Eugirlsniffs

I like this flowery scent but to me it's not furious enough. It's one of those everyday scents of today that I could never identify if I smelled it on somebody. Could be anything from any of the newer 'in' designers. Smells really nice but I need something a lot memorable. I'll pass on this.

GiareDiLuce

Furious, the name is quite deceiving: if you're thinking of a strong, dark, sharp perfume, well this is not the case.
On the contrary, this fragrance is as luminous as its bottle suggests: it is warm, somehow sweet, but not in an ordinary way; the flowers are not overpowering and it is very balanced.
It gives me the idea of a woman that is strong and independent and sweet and caring at the same time. A wife and a lover. Interesting, you have to smell it.

Mellyhelly

This is a "furiosa" with a trendy style and some fear of trying too hard. She wants to give the idea but then refrain. It would not be feminine!
So this Furiosa is a new example of trendy perfume in the synthetical chemical era of perfume.
Oriental-floral should be my cup, but this one is just pleasant. It's something I could easily wear but not love.
It vaguely smells like Dior Addict, but less somptuous.
I hoped for a more radiant gardenia, but it's not.
A good perfume, but not for me.

nonnative

I don't like this perfume. Nothing to do with the name "furiosa" that reminds something wild, original, strong, and . The scent is similar to too many others.Very commercial, too sweet and not original at all. And not wild! I think this is another pink sweet parfume with a very fruity drydown. We didn't need another parfume like that! I'm disappointed by fendi that created such a masterpiece like FENDI ORIGINAL.

mikettan

Mi piace tanto questo profumo. Somiglia a Giò di Giorgio Armani.

I love it. It is like a Giò of Giorgio Armani.

Miss LaCreevy

Thank you, snowtree, for the Luca Turin review! Very funny.
I am curious about the perfume, seems lovely reading the description.
Maybe the home sweet home perfume for me and my quiet, philosophical cat.

snowtree

LUCA TURIN:
A fragrance called Furiosa and described as “The Essence of Wild Femininity“ conjures up images of furrowed brows, flashing eyes, and slamming doors, definitely not something for the pipe-and-slippers bliss to which I—and, I suspect, most men after two weeks spent with a furiosa—aspire. The fragrance is a bit of a letdown from those stormy expectations: a sunny, deliciously plush spicy-powdery confection lying somewhere between Caron’s Parfum Sacré [1990] and Rochas’ Tocade [1994], but without the fruity intensity of the former or the metallic sheen of the latter. My reference to nineties perfumes is meant to be flattering: François Demachy invariably manages, in the face of every regulatory and budgetary constraint, to compose perfumes that feel comfortable from topnote to drydown, a feat so rare these days that one is inclined to just be thankful and say no more.

But wait: one further thought occurs to me as I puff on my pipe and look into the eyes of my faithful golden retriever. It seems to me that this fragrance would make a perfect serene, pillowy masculine in the manner of Guy Robert’s original Amouage Gold Man [1983] or Penhaligon’s Hammam Bouquet [1872]. And what’s more: the superb reticulated bottle requires no embarrassing explanations. Done deal, then: “The Essence of Tame Masculinity."

Upon smelling Furiosa for the first time, it reminded me very much of Dior Addict!!!only difference it is more floral in the heart, and whereas Addict keeps being quite intense , Furiosa softens more...
It is a warm spicy scent , with depth., and flowers in the background..I find it interesting, well done, this is a mature scent, more wintery also, I like that it remains feminine, and the drydown is softer, ..it has a classy vibe, and it opens up nicely!!! I like the overall stylsih vibe of this perfume, classy, but not oldish.
Glad to have it in my collection!!

auroramaria

When I first tested Furiosa I had the feeling that it smelled so familiar but couldn't nail it.
Today I wore my sample and it came to me,Furiosa smells a lot like Black Orchid only lighter.
So if you like BO but find it a bit too harsh you could try this new Fendi offering plus it's very feminine and longevity is really good

rossyegio5

Furiosa..??? Ma dove e perché? Anzi è un'ambra molto delicata, fiorita, dolcelegnosa. Profumo molto gradevole, anche se non originale. Fresco. Rinforzato dal proprio latte corpo acquista più forza. Sillage moderato. Fornisce un senso di benessere, carino.
Come si suol dire, like not love.

auroramaria

I tested. Furiosa today and i have to say i am really impressed! It is a warm floral very deep and well crafted,i smell lots of gardenia a bit of pepper and lovely warm amber it is very elegan and sensual. I really love it! Longevity is very good it lasted 6.hours on me plus the bottle is amazing!

melia

Instead of commenting on the bottle, I'd like to comment on the fragrance that I've smelled yesterday. It's definitely a modern oriental floral one - sweet and soft, opening a bit fruity but drying down into something warm while passing some whispering flowers. I wouldn't call it a very loud perfume, even though the staying power and projection are quite good. The name for it I wouldn't have picked myself and frightens me unnecessarily... I wouldn't want to be, nor smell, furious. Nonetheless it smelled like something that fits my character and taste perfectly, but maybe only because it reminded me so much of my favourite TF Black Orchid...

reborn

the bottle looks like a turtle ;-))))))))))))))))))

jovejove

The essence of wild femininity; of course the opening note is bitter. Hahaha, I'm just kidding. I had to say it. Sometimes the ad campaigns try too hard!
