This is one you don’t want any to bury your face into… The Lavender/ Sage combo is a bit harsh in the opening… Metallic, sharp, I could see it being off-putting to some.

However, as it dries and you if you focus on the sillage it puts off… It is a pretty solid woody-herbal lavender… Almost fougere like.

It does keep that sharp fuzzy metallic vibe all the way through… Although it will settle down and not come off as pungent (to some).

I get hot and cold on this fragrance… Right now, I am kinda digging it.

Ferra_Verto

Beautifully green and aromatic lavender; a lovely combo of bright & spicy with a powdery and lightly vanillic base.
Perfect all year-round, but definitely better-suited for warm/hot weather.
Arms' length sillage, it's not meant to be a major projector.

Alex2king

I don't know if my bottle is turned but this doesn't smell clean or lavender it's smell metallic and Sharp I can't stand it 1st time I'm glad the smell doesn't last very long.
But like I said it might be a bad bottle idk?

Lavender, sage, and vanilla with a slight metallic edge. Perfect for when you want to smell clean & put together but still casual & cozy. Makes me want to lay around the house and wear expensive minimalist loungewear. I sometimes question if it's a little too masculine for me to pull off. It's not a girly or womanly scent at all but a slightly masculine leaning unisex. Overall it's a pleasant everyday scent that feels unique without being challenging. One of my favorite bottles and juice colors too.

JmThms

This is compared to CK Eternity, Paco Rabanne XS, and even MMM Replica At the Barbers and Chanel Platinum Egoiste because of the metallic accord that pollutes the lavender. I think it is the sage note that when combined with the lavender sometimes gives it that metallic edge. And I don't like it. The metallic accord is out of place, over the top, annoying, and even nauseating. This is a poorly conceptualized "pure" lavender fragrance. Fortunately it fades through the drydown and becomes less annoying, but everything fades into a faint creaminess.

MNadz

Meh…if you enjoy lavender, nothing wrong here…nothing great…but nothing bad.

Opens with a slightly spiced lavender. Dries down to straight lavender. Toward the end, becomes a slightly creamy lavender,

Projection and longevity are average…at best.

Not disappointed I own it…just not sure how much I’ll wear it.

sweizygwop

I like lavender as a scent note.. but i don’t smell any of the other notes in this scent. It kinda has a harsh lavender smell to it. Wouldn’t recommend.

I love Lavender as a note in fragrances, it's one of my favourite notes. But this is OTT Lavender with not a whole lot else going on. I thought I was gonna love this but it's too basic and not a lot of creativity went into it.
You can say what did I expect with a frag called pure lavender and yeah that makes sense but I thought that I'd be getting a multi faceted scent where the Lavender is the star of the show. What I got was a Lavender bomb.

Scent = 2/3
Performance = 1/3
Wearability = 2/3
Value = 1/1

This is a thought one. Should re-rate in summer months. Opens up with bright lavender, then becomes a smoother calming type of lavender and florals. Nice presentation for the price (about EUR 16).
I suspect it is slightly allergenic, sneezing-inducing right after applying it (which means there is the possibility that there is quite a bit of natural stuff there).
Performance is not good, but it is possible that it induces nose blindness.
I would see this as a good spring-summer day skin scent. Could see this as a good Midsummer scent.

hclivess

Got it for $10, nobody buys it here. This is what I imagine inside of a new Ferrari smells like. Very cheerful, light, expensive scent. Performance is not great, but acceptable.

morocco_mole

It's lavender af, and there's little else to say! Great value, sillage and performance is about what you would expect for the price but you also can't really overapply. Mildly synthetic smelling opening, but the drydown is creamy, powdery lavender that lacks the slight green-spiciness of the actual flower. I'm not big into layering but think this would be a must-have if you're into layering scents. Smells great, safe in any weather, but probably won't turn heads. 100% unisex in my opinion. Worth every penny and a nice buy.

Peace, Love, & Harmony in the time of COVID 19.

It’s 2021; I currently work with customers... and a good number of them get irate so quickly; this beautiful lavender spray keeps emotions in check.

Aromatic woo-sah.

The cashmere is a beautiful scarf to shield from the chill; patchouli gives it green and the vanilla is also very calming and is DYNAMIC with the lavender.

Reassuring helps me embody strength and confidence to rise and be a better person.
For me the reoccurring theme of lavender and the embodiment of my true self.
Teaches me to be patient and compassionate for all around me.

JorgeZ

This is a nice fragrance from Ferrari. It is masculine leaning lavender fragrance with a creamy dry down.

The only negative is that it does not project nor does it last long on my skin.

In spite of that I feel it is a very pleasant and enjoyable fragrance . I love wearing this right before going to bed.

Thesearchgoeson

Absolutely vile for me. Was so looking forward to this as I love lavender. They should re name this Ferrari Vanilla. That's all I get from it and sadly I don't get on with Vanilla at all. It always just smells super sweet and sickly on my skin.

Sloth

Oh come on Saad48, for heaven's sake.
It's just a fragrance. I owned this and it is lovely and not harsh or metallic.
You were obviously coming down with something, nothing to do with the fragrance FFS.
If a fragrance makes you that ill you really have a problem.

AndrewAnto

Blind buy because I love lavender and this one is a cheapie. But not something I wear outside the home. I mostly wear this right out of the shower at night a few hours before bedtime.

scent of rain shop

A good and valuable perfume, I notice something like tonka or amber more than lavender in its scent, overall I have a good sense about these Ferrari family fragrances.

Voile

Blind buy from the Essence collection. I really like fig the best of them all. The others are wearable; but very light. The lavender reminds me of pencil shavings. It has a bitter note which I think is violet. Luckily it wears off fairly quickly, but has a synthetic lingering trail. This dud makes me suspicious of the other single notes in the Ferrari range.

Behram

Blind bought it, as they are super rare in AU, extremely disappointed. 4 sprays after a shower and I literally had to rub my nose against my arm to get a whiff of it. Yet no luck. Disappeared in less than 10 minutes, such a shame as the presentation is very elegant. try before you buy.

Gonga

Really good with this price tag.

Dostesyunai

I love it. I love lavender and this is so good. It’s so calm and inoffensive that I sometimes wear it before sleep. It’s a dream before sleeping and still there the morning after.
On me is calm but also kind of sexy, leathery and smooth, coming and going with a rather unusual vanilla. I say coming and going because it’s how it lives on me. When I think it became just a skin scent I get whiffs by surprise. And I say unusual because it’s never the vanilla I have in mind, I recognise it but I don’t imagine it like this when I think about it.
It’s natural and sophisticated. I can’t imagine an occasion when this wouldn’t be a good choice.

DaedalusX

I’m going to give anybody reading this a few solid factts that are in the fence about making a blind buy purchase.

1)This is the ultimate office fragrance
2) This is extremely safe
3) It’s purely for hot days

There, now that we got that out of the way, this little gem is a subtle creeper that produces occasional whiffs of a soft almost creamy type lavender base that encourages the opposite sex to lean in close and take smells off of you. Because the projection isn’t overly strong it makes for great wearing in places you never want to offend anybody. For me this is the ultimate office scent, or great for the gym. I hate being in the gym and being choked out by other men or women who underestimate the power of what they’re wearing. This stuff however does its job, if pulls people in closer to you. Not everyone wants a loud fragrance that screams while wearing it, some people just want subtle and fly under the nose radar until you’re in close.

Longevity-3-5 hours
Silage- Skin scent with occasional whiffs
Versatility-Excellent
Season-Spring/Summer
Day or Night- Both
Compliments- Consistent
Value-Great if you want something not too loud
Repeat purchase- Absolutely
Personal rating- 8/10

jcravenw

I blind bought this after trying and loving the Oud, Bergamot, and Neroli offerings they have. This one? I literally can't smell it. Sprayed 4x on my neck and chest; nothing. 3x on the back of my hand; nothing. I like lavender in fragrances; JPG'S Le Male, English Laundry's Arrogant, Tom Ford's Lavender Extreme are the first 3 to come to my mind, so I figured I'd like this one. But I can't smell it. It's like I bought a bottle of purple tinted water :(

Rhaegal

This fragrance tested on my skin is fresh and pleasant for the first 10-15 minutes, after the entry of lavender i feel it acidic and synthetic, so it's not for me. It has a moderate duration on my skin and i find it suitable for all seasons except winter. The bottle is really pleasant.

FMilan

Ferrari Pure Lavender oddly (or not) reminds me of Nautica Voyage without the apple.

It gets acceptable after the first half our, when the lavender shows up.

The first blast seems to be a bomb of ambroxan that almost ruins the experience (on the edge of unbearable and headache inducing).

This one I'm gonna use only under the shirt and probably fight with it for 30 minutes. But I'll give it a chance, once I have a full 50 ml bottle now.

Let's see if we're getting along or not.

December Rain

Calm, soothing, fresh, relaxing. Pretty good longevity. Definitely office safe and perfectly unisex. I think it can be worn year round. It reminds me of fresh linen in a nice little hotel in the French countryside. I adore this scent and will most likely buy a another bottle when I run out. I bought it discounted for $18. What a gem!

Corrida

Pure Lavender is a quite simple scent imo, so I won't make too much fuss about it, especially considering the price tag which is ridiculous.

This is a great warm weather freshie with a lavender twist, clearly for those who appreciate the soft but very much present lavender lingering around. I myself have a habit of going heavy on the sprayer what will, in this case, definitely boost the performance which is a little shy, but hey, who cares. Just spray away and enjoy the scent bubble while it lasts. Probably not signature worthy, nevertheless, a nice and subtle addition to your beach bag to enjoy in the evening.

***TAUTRIS***

At first when i got this juice on my hand I could only smell the traditional lavender without anything much else going on. After a few minutes the cashmere started rising and mixing with the lavender and that's where all the beauty of this fragrance really began appearing. The scent is smooth, well balanced and relaxing. Well done!

EDIT: I did some thinking about PL and I think it is one of the most soothing fragrances I own.

FragranEssence

The Essence Collection has been a pleasant surprise from almost every aspect. I love most of them, and I like the rest. The "likes" being Cedar Essence (hardly any cedar to speak of, but a nice scent, nonetheless), Essence Musk, and this one, Pure Lavender. My "loves" from this line are Silver Essence, Essence Oud, and Bright Neroli.

Anyhow, concerning Pure Lavender, as others have alluded to already, the opening is, somewhat, rough. There is some lemon, lavender, and bergamot, but man, is it sharp; not a pleasant citrus at all, and it overpowers the lavender. This phase doesn't last long, though, and then the lavender DNA finally shines through, which is a pleasant departure from that opening. The potpourri-like lavender is not quite "pure," as the title would insinuate, but it is detectable to a large degree and, again, very nice; very calming.

After 30 mins. to an hour, a well-designed blend of herbs and woody spices come into play, and this is where this scent really bumps up its game. For me, it is almost a "love," but the Essence line brings so much better action to the table that it leaves this one well behind. Projection and sillage are on the light side of the scale.

Projection - 4/10
Sillage - 5/10
Longevity - 6/10
Fragrance - 7/10
Compliments - No
Seasons - Spring, Summer, Early Autumn
Time - Day

All in all, it is a reasonably likable scent, mostly a freshie, and I will definitely find time in future springs and summers to put it to good use.

Pure Lavender Ferrari has a very bad disadvantage which is very light longevity on my skin so its simply ruiens everything else , shame cause I really wanted to like it !

mellyv1973

Absolutely fabulous unisex scent that my husband and I can both rock. Excellent lasting power & the initial blast of freshness eventually dies down to something warm & spicy. I think this can be safe to blind buy and can be used all year 'round as a day scent.

landshark321

Ferrari Pure Lavender is one of the house’s many bargain scents and one of a series of great releases in their Essence collection from 2012 to 2016. It’s a fairly well-constructed blend of citruses and herbs/spices (cardamom, sage, patchouli) mixed with the signature lavender itself and woods. It leans far more fresh than bassy in even its dry down and is a really good entry-level unisex lavender fragrance that I expect most would find agreeable. It’s predictably a little brighter and sharper in the opening but after an hour or two it’s a pleasant, well-blended near-skin scent.

It’s a modest performer, moderate at best in terms of projection and longevity, but the value is still high due to the price. Available for the fairly low price of $24 and $26 on FragranceX and FragranceNet in the US, respectively, it’s hard for me to argue that Pure Lavender is anything but a bargain.

Overall, it’s yet another nice offering from Ferrari that is unusually affordable on grey market sites. I didn’t warm up to it as quickly as Bright Neroli, Noble Fig, or (especially) Radiant Bergamot, but it’s an easy-to-wear winner as well.

This fragrance is the literal take on Lavender Note. The opening is a bit weird though. It smells metallic, borderline "fishy", but only for a couple of seconds. And then The Soft Lavender comes in and takes over for about two hours or so, and then it settles into a faint skin scent for an hour or so, and then it's gone.

It could have been a better fragrance if it lasts for a couple more hours and stronger sillage. But it is what it is, and the price is kind of cheap.

It's not a regrettable fragrance, but it's also nothing to scream about. So yeah, you got what you paid for.

First impressions. Not bad, but... Pure Lavender? More like Pure Cashmeran. My first association was the clean laundry smell of YSL La Nuit... Eau Electrique. Similarly to the latter, "Pure Lavender" combines the pleasantly synthetic Cashmeran note with some coumarin (hay-like) notes, but whether they come from tonka or lavender (both contain coumarin), doesn't seem to matter, since they are in the background anyway.

If this so-called lavender is indeed a lavender, it is markedly more synthetic/clean/cold than the one in L'Occitane Eau de L'Occitan or Penhaligon's Sartorial. At the same time, it is still much softer than the burning tinge of Azzaro Pour Homme, although it lies in a similarly "hygienic" territory. But really, all I can really smell is Cashmeran with coumarin notes around it. The sage and vanilla? Yes, maybe a bit.

In a nutshell, if you're after a simple fabric softener smell or something like a cleaned up version of retro aftershave products, I think there's no need to look further. At the moment, I haven't got any YSL Eau Electrique to do a side-by-side comparison, but I'm guessing you could save a few bucks with Ferrari here. But if you want a natural herbal lavender fragrance or something that screams sophistication, then you might want to pass this one.

Oldspice

Pure Lavender is a miss for me. I actually really enjoy the lavender in the opening but on me after 15 minutes maximum it's gone and the scent takes a quick shortcut to boringtown. It becomes a cheapish slightly sweet, slightly spicy men's scent for the rest of its duration. I would not call this a unisex scent.

I'm impressed with others in the essence line but not this one unfortunately.

lsivokhina

The male version of Serge Lutens’s Gris Clair. Pure Lavender is more “cologny” and masculine. Bought it for myself to try (I am a female lavender lover) but will gift it to a male.

ilsagold

The first hour is good as you can smell natural lavender. Then comes the synthetic Cashmeran as in most mainstream fragrances in the 2nd hour. Today I decided to spray it on my cloth twice by that way I realised the opening and middle notes stay for few extra hours so that it ends without entering the unnatural base note.
Spraying this on the skin, however, I prefer to use with Penhaligon's Sartorial also helps to defend against Cashmeran note covered by the obvious beeswax of Sartorial.
So here I have two ways of using this nicely.

nout72's review below is spot on, i struggle to describe how this one falls down but his/her review deconstructs it perfectly

Midnight Lady

I was excited to try this one as it's really hard to find herbal lavender in unisex or even harder in female perfumes.

The opening is amazing: very citrussy combo of lemon and bergamot, a real refreshment. In a few minutes lavender joins the party and that's it - great authentic and herbal lavender accompanied by some sage. Does it sound too sharp or masculine fougere style? It's not, these notes are sitting on a velvety vanilla/cashmeran pillow. Perfectly balanced.

There is a bit of fougere touch thanks to prominent herbs, sure, but in no way that it would give an impression of wearing a strongly masculine fragrance. It's truly unisex and very complex.

Thumbs up from me, what a great, pleasant perfume. Makes want to explore other Ferrari Essences.

The Ferrari Essence line is indeed pretty good, the hype is justified. But the Pure Lavender is a stinker. The lavender note is great, but it soon gets countered by a sticky, bitter sweet note, which could be the vanilla, but to my nose it smells like ambroxan, similar to Dior's Sauvage.
I don't mind a discrete ambroxan note, it adds something 'savorish' (for lack of a better description) to the projection, if properly blended with the other notes that is. Nice smelling from a certain distance, but in most cases it just smells horrible from closer by.
Sauvage's ambroxan note only smells gross when I put my nose close to the skin, Pure Lavender smells horrible from almost every distance and angle. I think this is what people mean when they find a fragrance synthetic smelling, a muddy soup of notes that turns bittersweet in an undefined plasticky way and no longer smells like a summ of natural ingredients, but rather like a poorly mixed color. But I don't think that the 'syntheticness' of the notes is the cause, but rather the poor blend of the notes. This happens a lot with fragrances that have vanilla, tonka or amber(gris)/ambroxan in their base and only very few fragrance that I know manage to smell nice from close(r) by.

Harpalike

Without any doubts, it is "pure". Too literal lavender for my taste, which makes me to thing of lavender spirit that we've used for insect bites in my childhood. Summery and refreshing, much more masculine than feminine. Poor longevity on skin in the hot days. I pass it to my husband.

aet

You have to really love lavender or you will not like this fragrance. This has the sharper lavender scent of the plants found along the Mediterranean vice the softer one found in English Lavender. the vanilla and wood provide interesting counternotes, but this is what the name implies...pure lavender....
Longevity was weak, but found that double spraying greatly helped increase it. a good scent and a very polished offering from Ferrari.

CjCarson88

The scent is great. The opening is a little too sharp for me but after a few minutes it settles down to a fantastic scent. Longevity is good but the projection is quite poor. You have to overspray the hell out of this. But its cheap so whatever

jg2758

The opening lavender is gorgeous. Unfortunately, it only lasts 5-10 minutes. Layering with a lavender essential oil solves the problem.

If this were a $300 niche scent, I'd say that's a problem. But for $40? Worth it. Combined, the fragrance and EO make a goooorgeous smooth lavender. Thumbs up.

Albertos

HI.. WOW! LOVE IT! STUNNING SCENT! Fresh, clean and very long lasting pure lavender! Amazing! Luxury scent ! perfect for every season, more for the summer, I feel like a lavender field "MADE IN ITALY" Thank YOU MY ITALY...10/10.
edit...it's addictive and narcotic fragrance, I smell very expensive, as soon as I move or go I feel beautiful lavender. they give a tail. Italian fairy tale! and very, very long lasting. Great!

Eyedean

Jeez... I really like these Ferrari ones! This house is really proving that it is possible to bring high quality scents to the masses for an extremely reasonable price!
What I especially appreciate with this line is that we all get a chance to try/own frags with certain notes/feels that more often are common in nieche world. Don’t get me wrong, these are most likely to be crowd pleasers. They are just a bit different than your avarege Dylan Blue, YsL Y, Blue de Chanel, Azzaro Chrom etc.
These are blended more the way a nieche frag is, just in a more mass pleasing way and the offer a distinct note in every release.

With that said, this one starts a beautiful Lavender note that’ll stick with you all the way (more or less). There will also be a sweet (not clawing sweet) Vanilla/Tonka mix after an hour that will carry this warm yet fresh scent forward. Some times I get a feel of ambroxan although this note is not listed.

All in all, in my opinion Bright Neroli and Radiant Bergamot (I do not own noble fig... yet)are both more zesty and uplifting than this one. But this is just as gorgeous and in my world as certain! Spring, summer, fall... work, home or at the mall.. you can easily rock ‘em all

ilsagold

OK, I purchased a bottle. This morning a sprayed once on my inner arm and I sprayed also once Sartorial. While I could enjoy the real natural lavender only for an hour when using this EDT alone by layering it with Sartorial I managed to extend it to 3 hours. Test worked! Only after the third hour, Sartorial's oakmoss starts to appear. And at 4th-hour honey note gives it a sweetness.
Next time two sprays of Pure Lavender and one spray of Sartorial and I am ready for Spring!

Hastey

Opens with a burst of citrus, mainly bergamot. Giving it a freshness. Once it drys down you get beautiful lavender that’s blended nicely with vanilla. There is no real sweetness to the scent, the lavender tones it down.

This is no heavy hitting projection monster. It doesn’t need to be. It’s pleasant and soothing. Non offensive and definitely unisex. For me, I wear this straight after a shower at night whilst relaxing at home. Love it!

Would re order.

Dear all,

The lavender itself, even though is used in all fragrances, can be very difficult to handle and to use properly as a primary ingredient, especially for a men fragrance.

The risk in fact is to create a smell resembling to those of detergents.

Despite this, this fragrance is very subtle, sophisticated and high quality.

Chapeau Ferrari:8/10.

Regards

olivedrah

A simple and fresh lavender, with a woody cashmere and light vanilla on background. Nothing surprising, just okay for men.

Tcamp30144

Very clean lavender, wood, light musk citrus very nice complex. I have sprayed this on about 45 mins ago. Very strong lavender at open with citrus vanilla and wood as back notes. As drying down beautiful light Smokey woody vanilla with lavender always there but very soft and sweet. Very addictive intoxicating fragrance. Bottle is very good quality a gen for 30 bucks for 3.4. Very expensive smelling.

valentinocerca.amore

To continue its expansion in the perfumery market, the Ferrari brand decided to start a new chapter in the history of the Essence Collection, which was released in the year 2012. To this end, decided to invest in unisex fragrances, extolling a single special ingredient in each creation, through more cheerful and fresh interpretations.
So, in 2015, was born the Essence Les Eaux collection, with three scents in Eau de Toilette concentration: Noble Fig, Bright Neroli and Pure Lavender. They hit the market with the same visual pattern, but in transparent bottles, revealing the unique color of each piece. The boxes and the lids also have the same finishing and color, revealing a bright and sophisticated beige leather.

Pure Lavender, as the name suggests, brings the lavender as key ingredient and contains essential oil of lemon Sfuma, cardamom and bergamot, in the top of the composition. In the heart of the fragrance lives the secret, with its notes of absolute of sage, absolute of lavandin, essence of lavandin and Norlimbanol (molecule created by Firmenich with woody and animal facets of amber). Finally, the base carries notes of patchouli, vanilla, moss and cashmere wood.

Now, imagine mixing the sweet softness of lavender with the spicy nuance of cardamom. That's how Pure Lavender begins! And although the lemon Sfuma also presents sweeter nuances, there's nothing citric in the output of this fragrance. The absolute of sage, in turn, brings a warmer shade, which merges to a profusion of lavender of all types: sweet, smooth, powdery, floral, etc. The lavandin (hybrid of two species of lavender) was used without parsimony, showing that everything here revolves around it. And the notes of vanilla and patchouli in the background give a facet of chocolate, very mild, but noticeable.

We have, then, a scenario that brings three unisex and refined fragrances, which I see as follows: Noble Fig is one that covers the male side of the soul. It's fruity, green and sophisticated; Bright Neroli is more youthful, happy and delicate. It has citrus and floral nuances, exploring the feminine side that we all have; Pure Lavender is cozy and has a fundamental ingredient in perfumery: lavender. It soothes and comforts without errors, genre or labels.

Pure Lavender is like the Lavender: universal in every way. It exudes well and has good durability. Maybe it's the simplest of the three (remembering that the company recently announced a fourth fragrance called Radiant Bergamot), but achieves what many other sophisticated fragrances can’t. In a simplistic way, I would say that it is the Ferrari’s interpretation for the classic Pour Un Homme de Caron, within the current market. And I still say more: is the most French fragrance of all creations of Ferrari.

msajoy

beautiful bottle presentation, lovely color of the juice, long lasting and very high quality smooth lavender juice...usually i used to hate lavender based fragrances since they gave me headache...but this is benchmark for any designer lavender based fragrance, it will last and you will smell great in spring and autumn, ferrari hats of to you for stepping up to niche world with all the essence and latest releases...i own 3 already and ill be getting lot more bottles, in no time you guys will be the higher end designer brand in the competition... silver essence and bright neroli are in my list too

PaulAlexandre

Pure Lavender is a great attempt to produce an easy, run of the mill, unisex fragrance that can be worn by a wide range of customers. But its not a "Pure" Lavender scent, far from it, and when a company writes on their product that the scent is Pure "something", as a client, you should expect that "something" to be exactly that...Pure. There is nothing Pure about this particular fragrance. On application, the top notes give it life, a certain excitement to the senses but as the hours go buy, to my nose, it becomes a cocktail of mainstream ingredients that basically run this into left field. It smells more chemical than natural. A natural, high quality lavender fragrance will reduce into your skin in a matter of 2-3 hours. It requires additional applications during the course of the day/evening. Two sprays of this fragrance and you are good for 24 hours. Not normal, but yes, practical.

I stand by one of my earlier reviews; the best lavender fragrance on the market today, if I take all things into consideration, price, quality of ingredients, natural versus chemical smelling, is by far "Lavender on the Rocks" by Atkinson's. It's really THE benchmark for all Lavender scents available today. LOTR is a pure, pleasant, natural fragrance confected in an old-school type way. It bridges the old generation to the new generation of lavender products. Yes, it will cost you an additional 100$, but if you are truly a Lavender type, there is no comparison, none. Invest in something that is ageless.

Ferrari Pure Lavender: 6/10

Finally got this gem, a blind buy along with Noble Fig. Quite disappointed with the longevity.... too fast evaporate. Opening with fresh Lavender... then it become spicy all the way until it vanish. Vanilla is not strong enough to cover the spicy effect of Lavender. So it's really pure Lavender scent from the beginning till the ends. I love the opening scent of the Lavender but don't like the spicy scent at the end.
Got only 3 to 4 hours maximum at hot and humid weather.

m.t.alkawa

Unexpected at all!
I went to the store to check the new Selvatore Ferragamo colonial when the salesman suggested this, I usually go on saying yes I know that to avoid their annoying suggestions without being rude, but this was new, when he mentioned the new Ferrari I was like yes I tried the Noble Fig and didn't like it, he showed me this, ligh blue/violet in color, and the smell oh my!

First of all, it doesn't smell like any recent edition of a perfume or any lavender based scent in the past few years except that for the initial blast there are some similarities to Karl Lagerfield For him, but just for few minutes.

The lavender here is outstanding, softened by the vanilla from one side yet sharpened by lemon from the other, the lavender is clear after 15 minutes, its lovely and classic at instances!

The vanilla here isn't sweet, it just softens the lavender to make it calm and soothing, whiffs of green apple or lemon could be smelt every now and then until the first hour.

A very interesting scent, and stands out within all the new perfume editions of 2015 so far which had sweet notes in every scent even the summer morning ones.

I'm happy I smelt this today.
