I don't particularly enjoy white florals but this was my signature scent for a long while (bought 5 big bottles). It just has something addicting in it. Hugs from the put together mom friend vibe. Inoffensive, simple, fresh, clean, timeless. On me the sillage was borderline scary, people knew I was in because I left a lingering trail - I do tend to spray myself a lot though. I am a bit scared to get another bottle after so long but if I ever do I'll leave an update.

Elegant, fresh, cool and floral. Balanced notes of tuberose and jasmine, proper for all seasons with sensible sillage and longevity. Everything I want from a perfume is here! Happy to wear it😍

I am fan of tuberose as well as jasmin, and this is a beautiful, womanly white floral scent that is fresh and fragrant like holding a bouquet of white florals. It smells almost the same as DoSon Diptyque except for its muskiness.

If you want to smells like fresh cut white flowers this is perfect. I received a bottle of Gucci bloom as a gift a few years ago and this will always ba a staple in my collection. Perfect for day time, date night or upscale occasions, absolutely gorgeous and timeless, so feminine and as I’m in my early 20’s I believe this is youthful too. Once again, this smells like flowers and I love it

A lovely classic, a clean and realistic honeysuckle well blended with jasmine and tuberose. Very little projection on me and doesn't last that long. I don't find it strong or baby-powdery, just like fresh cut stems. It reminds me a little bit of walking in a botanical garden.

Would be nice to layer with some post-bath sesame oil for a nice cozy 90's vibe. For men in particular, this might be nice to blend with something spice-forward, it's more girly at first but settles into a more unisex floral, IMO.

the opening of Gucci Bloom is the most perfect honeysuckle-jasmine i’ve ever smelled. and once the creamy bubblegum tuberose kicks in, i feel like i’m drunk on white flowers. i’m having flashbacks to my East-Texas childhood, shoving my face into star jasmine, gardenia, and honeysuckle. it’s so strong at first you can definitely taste it, but i’m not even mad about that. all the warmth, none of the funk. rangoon creeper is also known as “Chinese honeysuckle,” and i can see why.

as strong as it starts, though, it has slightly poor performance overall, going out in a blaze of glory rather quickly, but leaving a sweet, dark, powdery trail behind. (i wonder if layering this with Not a Perfume would make it stick around longer.)

EDIT: tried this with NaP and, while not sure it improved the performance, it filled in the spaces, boosted the powdery musk at the end, and made it more interesting overall — and did not alter the glorious opening in the least. win-win.

Smells just like Gucci Envy Me

an amazing floral perfume, which develops to be a bit powdery. i love this combo, it used to be my signature fragrance for a few years until i switched to gucci guilty.

thus it develops and wears really well on the skin, and even the performance is very good. moderate sillage. even though it has tuberose, for me it doesn’t have the distinct old lady smell, rather it just smells very sophisticated, and can be worn just as well by those under 70 years.

It's excessively floral, as if white flower petals are piercing your nostrils, yet oddly appealing. It consistently evokes the image of a mature Italian woman residing in a quaint village adorned with expansive gardens. Overall, it's a timeless, beautiful fragrance.

I have a bottle of this I was gifted and never wear as simple white florals just aren't my thing at all. Today I decided to try layering it with Fields at Nightfall (Zara This Is Her dupe) and it works so well.

It's very floral still, but with a bit of sweetness and warmth that makes it far more wearable for me. I can't stop sniffing my arm.

What a banger. This is a must for lovers of white flowers. It's like diving head first into a pool of flowers. Reminds me of summer mornings walking through a field.

This is tuberose bomb, very strong. I love it, but can’t wear strong perfumes because of my husband’s snowflake-ish nose. Drydown is soapy jasmine with tuberose. It’s similar gender as May Way, but this one is maybe bit more mature and elegant.

I smelled it in a store and was I was immediatly brought back to that Flower perfume by Avon that I used to love so very much when I was a tween, but obviously more luxurious. Gucci Bloom, I feel, is a bit mature for me, but it's quite classy and suitable for formal ocassions. I wouldn't wear it on a casual date with friends, or a date to the movie teather. It feels quite expansive on my skin, like all of me smells of the sweet tuberose and jazmin, walking through a flowery garden on spring. I really do love it, I just feel it a bit grown up-er than I currently am. Maybe when I'm 35 it will fit me like a glove.

A very clean, mature, floral fragrance. Much too strong for my nose, like a slap of flowers to the face. I never detected anything other than floral notes - it is just pure tuberose. Barely any jasmine. If that's your vibe and you're certain you love tuberose, go for it! Not for me though. I gave it to my auntie.

Clean, fresh, simple — will always remind me of 2017 when I fell in love with the ad campaign (sorry!) and then the scent as soon as I tried it. Beautiful bottle. I finished my first bottle years ago and recently picked up another, and it seems weaker to me now and doesn’t last anywhere near as long as I remember, so is a skin scent for me after about an hour of wear. I’d probably recommend the red Ambrosia di Fiori one in the line over the original now, which is a shame.

It's pretty and soapy. But it's a bit too simple and one-sided in my opinion. There's nothing in particular wrong with it, but it just doesn't stand out at all. I wish there were some more interesting notes to balance it out and give it a bit more flesh.

Nice skin scent. It smells very similar to the Febreze toilet refresher I have... but it's not that I HATE IT; it's okay. I use it after a shower and before sleep. Wouldn't use it for going out though, for any occasion, as at least on me, it's just too weak.

Beautiful and elegant white flower scent! Opens up with white flowers and settles nicely on my skin. Smells well blended and balanced. I would buy this for a summer holliday. It reminds me of visiting flower gardens in Europe when the mornings are still cool but the days are warm.

Boring. I much prefer Michael by Michael Kors for my tuberose blast, which feels fresh, young and sexy to me. Bloom is more grandma pretty, to me.

There are 2 different fragramces this reminds me of. Maison Margiela flower market and/or Armani Rouge Malachite. FYI the Armani is significantly stronger and longer lasting, the MM flower market a more natural take on the scent of the florists.
But, this is undeniably a beautiful scent, and has about the ideal strength and projection for a wedding ceremony. I tip my head to those who have written about wearing this for their wedding day. Its perfect for thr occassion... I'd kiss your hands on bended knee to show my apreciation for tou elegant taste.
As mentioned elsewhere, if you are not a fan of tuberose - beware. This may not be to your liking. In perfumery the white florals of jasmine, orange blosson amd tuberose are rightly lauded as the 3 queens, but as a caveat, tuberose isnt as easy on the nose as the other two. Its not as divisive as full on rose, or orchid say, but now amd again i meet people who arent fans.
Its good, but there are similar scents do it even better. But a queen on her wedding day shouldnt be making eyes water feom ten feet, so this gets my vote for the most formal occasions. Also one spray is probably light enough for the office, so if you want a naturalish elegant floral, this could be for you.

I tried it numerous times and each time it smells like urine. Gucci bloom instense is really beautiful though, just get the instense version

I too wore this on my wedding day, 5 years ago now. There's something endearing, almost nostalgic and dreamy about this white flowers composition. Somewhat, it screams rich and nonchalant about it, as almost all Gucci creations. It really lives up to the house DNA.

The opening has a prominent bubblegum note from the tuberose which subsided almost immediately on me, to make room for a really enchanting jasmine.
I guess that the nostalgic note singing in my mind has to do more with the white flowers overall, than anything else. It's a romantic, tender concoction with a modern twist. I may be biased, as I love a good jasmine, but this is really classy, ethereal in that demure way that so well suits brides on their big day.
If you love white flowers, give it a test.

10/10 though longevity isn't great on me to be honest. The intense isn't as good.

Gorgeous white flowers intermingled with insect repellent, which then morphs into it all rotting away. On a happier note, I adore the design of the bottle.

I personally find this an incredibly overwhelming and nauseating scent. I don't usually mind floral fragrances but this has some extreme power, too extreme for me.

All i get is tuberose. Not for me but if you are into strong tuberose dominant white florals you might like this

If you’re a 100% floral person this is for you, but if you’re 99% or less a floral person, this may overwhelm you. The silage and lasting power is fantastic- but on me it smelled like a flower bouquet from the grocery store. It softens up a bit if you layer it with something more creamy or gourmand but the tuberose will still come through incredibly strong.

Smells like an English noble lady. Very strong, the scent of Tuberose is very realistic, as if holding a bouquet of Tuberose in your hand. This is love for me because I am a girl who loves White Flower scents so much. If you like Burberry London, Kim Kardashian EDP, Diptyque Doson, you should definitely try Gucci Bloom. They all belong to the luxurious and extremely elegant White Floral/Tuberose scent group, definitely the most beautiful fragrances for brides on their wedding day.

Rating: 9/10. Every time I wear it, I think of a scene of a large castle surrounded by beautiful gardens

Haven't tried Do Son, but it obviously has Narcotic Venus vibes (more banana like tuberose scent). This one is a tuberose-jasmine combo with animalic undertones in the dry down

This felt very single dimension to me, like if there were an Ai fragrance generator and you put in a prompt just saying "FLOWER", this is what you'd get.

I chose to wear Gucci Bloom on my wedding day because it is such a classic, classy, well-made white floral for a spring wedding. It never gets too soapy as other white florals tend to, and it has a slight powdery quality that is balanced by a creaminess to it that is just... delicious. It's such a pretty scent and brings so many fond memories. This is in constant rotation for me in the Spring.

I have been on the hunt for a good floral perfume that smells classic, but not too outdated, and Gucci Bloom has hit the mark for just an elegant floral perfume. I think this has to be one of my new favorites. Should be obvious, but if you don't like floral notes, this isn't for you. I love that there is no element of sweetness to it, just a pure floral perfume.The projection is good and it's just overall a classy beautiful girl perfume.

I’m learning that I don’t live white florals. I don’t hate them, they don’t smell bad, I just don’t want to smell like a bouquet of flowers & nothing more. I always thought tuberose had a rose scent & I like rose but I’m discovering that it does not. At all. The name is tricking me! I think tuberose is the culprit in white florals that I’m not loving but I’m not certain. The die down so far isn’t too bad, it’s a little more of a powdery floral. I don’t smell anything remotely citrus as some other reviewers are getting.

I love this perfume, it suits my personality, this is so flowery and soft, no sweet notes in there. Waiting to buy it again and again very soon

For me this is a rather light citrusy floral perfume. As someone who is not a fan of floral scents, I grew to like this perfume and the way it reacts with my skin. This is a linear perfume and is not complex which for me is neither good not bad. Don't think I would repruchase this as I would prefer a more complex fragrance. However, it was a good beginner perfume as this was the second perfume bottle I ever purchased.

I have the fragrance and the body lotion and when both are applied after your shower or bath BAM! My kind of floral fragrance. I detect unlisted fruit notes but could be my own personal unique experience with this scent. Every fragrance 'reacts' differently to each skin type and person/wearer and always gonna smell different to everyone. I detect a little citrus and mango despite there being no such notes mentioned. There is a light fresh and lactonic creamy thing going on but it is most likely tuberose. This is a very tuberose forward scent. The tuberose is coming off as fruity and very juicy. It's not bubble gum tuberose but it does smell like a touch tropical fruity like a delicious smoothie. Smells bright and light yellow. I am also sensing a honeysuckle note. Smells like a little bush of white and yellow flowers (jasmine, tuberose, honeysuckle). Sweet flowers. The jasmine is also there and as a slightly citrusy white jasmine but it's mostly tuberose. The dry down stage comes rather quickly because this perfume to my nose doesn't last as long as I'd like and it lasts longer and is enhanced with the lotion. The dry part is hard to make out. Amber and something softly woody. I'm very sure the 3 notes in this note pyramid as seen on this page is not the only thing going on with this scent. But whatever it is it's gorgeous. It's fresh light and spring time in a bottle. It's feminine with a woman not girly vibe. You have to like white florals to get this scent. Good for wearing daily and or the work place/office. This is not making any kind of big statement. She is just asking you to be yourself as a woman every day as you go about your day. Very motherly scent too. Simple and elegant and very sweet floral perfume. Love it.

All i smell is tuberose....i hate tuberose. It gives powdery church granny. It's a no for me.

One of the most beautiful, feminine perfumes ever. It's so elegant, gentle, floral... just perfect. I've had it for years, and would buy it again.
However, its silage and longevity is pretty poor, but it's great for work and casual occasions.

such a beautiful & true white floral, and so it saddens me to write that the sillage & lasting power is very weak. i’m unable to smell it on myself after a few hours & there is little to no projection. i still really do adore the scent, and so i’ll just have to do with reapplying.

I love this as a vintage throwback. For classy, mature, summer settings it is perfect. However it does have an "older" feel to it. Wouldn't wear it on a first date as a young girl, for example. I also think it works perfectly in warm-rain days.

this was.. oh my god. my signature scent for my entire high school years. it is so calming, and I like the white flowers note, and I've got compliments from it. the only downside is poor longetivity... i don't see this perfume can "stand out" in cold seasons.

a must-have if you like light floral scents!

I haven’t been able to find a pure white floral scent that I adore like this one. Sleeping Beauty would wear this. I always received compliments when I wore her sister Gocce Di Fiori and they’re identical. I have a sample of the EDP and it’s beautiful for the spring and summer. It’s simple and classic. Anyone can wear this.

Mostly jasmine, with tuberose and something unpleasant. Even thought the notes are simple, something in this very sharp/weird to my nose and makes me feel sick to my stomach. It's almost like sharp B.O. mixed with white floral. It's not the beautiful creamy/airy white floral I was hoping for. I enjoy many other tuberose scents, so maybe it is the jasmine, rangoon creeper, or mix of the three. I'm really not sure.

I’m still in the minority here. After years of testing this, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is pretty but not impressive. Slightly headache inducing however not as disturbing as Profumo Di Fiori (yellow bottle). I much prefer Armani Prive Vert Malachite.

I don't know what Rangoon Creeper smells like, so to me it's more jasmine(60-65%) and tuberose (40-35%).
I like it, but it's a strong scent. So I don't think I'd buy for me, but I like to smell it on somebody.
Really good performance, 2 sprays is max for this kind of scent. Clean white florals. Classy. Intense.

radiant...happiness?! my first tuberose where i really feel the bubblegum comparisons, in the best way. god, i await the rainy spring day when i wear this. until then, i hibernate in my winter hovel. the girls who understand, understand.

The fragrance itself is very lovely and it makes me feel clean. The recipe is simple and without seeing it, I would say it has more notes, then listed. However, for some reason it gives me headache every time I use it which makes me a little bit sad since it is not a cheapie and I would like to be able to use it more. The performance is really good on me I only spray it once or twice and it lasts almost the whole day.

This was a gift and I really didn't like this at all, I suppose I don't like white florals? It gave off big grandma vibes.

This is SO beautiful. I wore this every day in grade 7 and 8. I frequently got told I smelled like a grandmother, but I didn’t even mind. This is a top 5 for me. I LOVE white florals. If you don’t, then steer clear. This is a very, very simple floral fragrance. But it’s so good. I could rave about this one forever.

I feel like this perfume is a bit misunderstood because not a lot of people understand what rangoon creeper smells like. I think this is why a lot of people here attribute the smell of white florals to be the dominant smell. I grew up in Southeast Asia so I saw this flower a lot. It's a vine with small white and red flowers and looks like jasmine but smells much more dewy like honeysuckle.

When I was in primary school, a girl showed me how to drink the nectar of rangoon creepers by pulling the little stringy pollen bit out and sucking the flower from the stem. We weren't allowed to do it but it was incredibly mild and sweet.

Gucci Bloom is like this, only modestly sweet and modestly floral, but incredibly dewy, especially when you first spray it. Rangoon creeper note is definitely dominant-it's the little buttery uptick that wafts at your nose a little at the very beginning. Honeysuckle. Dewy, Wetness, but not damp. It's like standing in a new drizzle in the late afternoon. Mildly floral, mildly sweet, a little dingy. Dingy the same way rainwater feels a bit unclean after you've been in the rain for a good minute. Do we have white florals? Yes of course. They are present and gives the perfume a little bit of body.

I enjoy this perfume but I understand the complaints. It's indeed quite boring and linear, and also sadly overpriced. The performance is disappointing. It fades easily, and you would only smell it if you were touching the person. Definitely not worth the price, but worth sampling if you'd like to see how rangoon creeper smells like, or if you enjoy white florals with a dewy twist.

Smells like how white American Smarties tablet candy tastes (or Rockets candy if you’re Canadian). You’ve really got to love tuberose to like this; this scent was how I realized I don’t like it. Dossier has a great dupe if you want to save some money.

opens with sweet lily of the valley, changing to raw, rough, green jasmine and gardenia, warming to vanilla creamy something. not sure I'm getting tuberose but it is there somehow like a ghost. this fragrance has an aggressive stage which relents and I relent, wondering if it's maybe wearable after all... beautiful.
earlier today I'd been wearing Gucci Rush and had no need for another perfume, but I had this sample of Bloom which I found on a wall in my neighborhood, along with Chanel Gabrielle Essence, while walking the dog.

Fresh jasmine & tuberose! Very simple, but it's done so well here! Sweet & slightly green, almost reminiscent to a honeyed jasmine green tea. Longevity is around 4-6 hours, good projection for around 2-3 hours.

Luxurious, opulent bouquet of white flowers.
Creamy.
Linear.
Versatile - suitable for daytime/nighttime. Moderate longevity and sillage on me.
I would see it as a good perfume for a summer wedding, either for the bride or for a guest...

Headache and nausea in a bottle during my pregnancy. I loved it beforehand and now I can't be around this or anything similar. I gave it to my mom and she appreciated it. I can't wear Calvin Klein Beauty either now because it brings me to the same place.

This smells like an Hollywood actress from the 50's. Captivating and timeless floral scent, that holds genuine notes of tuberose and jasmine. Nothing too woody, too fresh, too gourmand, too sweet.... just good old flowers. I like it very much, but I find it too classic to own a full bottle of it. With that said, if you're on the lookout for a great white floral scent... pretty good!

I'm not into strong jasmine and tuberose scents. If that's your thing, you'd probably enjoy it. Smells very old fashioned and stifling to my nose.

It's a lovely jasmine white floral frag. Now is the bloom season for star jasmines in Australia. I can smell them wasping in my yard. Very similar. I like the fresh, natualistc way it smells.

Bloom by Gucci is a fragrance that pleasantly surprises by displaying a conceptual nature more commonly found in niche perfumery rather than designer fragrances. ok so ive had this perfume for many years now as it was my first real perfume i bought as a kid. The bottle is clean and elegant but the scents are just amazing. A little goes a long way and it smells so thick and lovely. It makes me happy, i first sprayed it on at nights out but more recently i wear it in the evenings just enjoying the scent for myself. its perfect youth

smells like a funeral home! it's so simple. just buy jasmine essential oil and don't pay that. maybe layered with rose it could be good but it gave me a terrible headache. my mom said it smells like what a grandma would use to cover up the cigarette smells.

smells nice and the bottle and box are pretty. but it's VERY simple and not very strong, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but makes it not worth the price tag.

I totally dig this original Bloom EDP. I think it's a great blind buy since it's well made and smells elegant [due to the white florals] without going too much in any direction (it's not too sweet, not too cloying, not too fruity, etc.).

It reminds me of the creaminess and soft texture of those wonderful flowers on Southern Magnolia trees. Or off-white linens hanging out to dry with a gentle breeze blowing through them on a pleasant sunny day.

this is my favourite perfume from Gucci, it's a very simple and basic floral fragrance with a very strong & prominent Jasmine scent, but even with its simplicity it's still very beautiful and elegant and the longevity is very good on my skin.

This used to be my go-to scent, and it was what made me like white florals. It came out when I was 17 and I remember wearing this in high school, so it's very nostalgic for me. This is powerful, do not play with it. It's got a scent projection that rivals virtually anything I've ever used and it's eternal on the skin. Nowadays, I prefer something more complex but it's a simple, strong scent and I still enjoy it occasionally.

For me it's just a very, very generic floral parfume. Nothing special or memorable about it. Good for casual use when you just like to smell fresh and girly, a pretty safe option for offices etc.

I adored this years ago.. I can’t remember when I bought this, I’ve had the bottle forever and it’s unending. I remember using this in high school, spraying sparingly in the morning, and one spray in the middle of my neck before I slept, I just loved the scent that much. I think I used this the most when I was 17, which I now think is a very fitting age for this scent. It’s young, green, innocent, pretty and clean. Very, very slightly soapy. So slightly that I only realised it when I saw other people said that it is. To me, this is a true jasmine scent, which is what I love most about it. My mother told me that it smells exactly like the flowers of the jasmine tree in front of her childhood home. She used to spray this on her pillow before sleeping after I went off to college.

When I wear it now I get tons of compliments, everyone loves a good, fresh jasmine after all. My professor stopped in class to ask me about it once, reminiscing about the blooming jasmine flowers in the springs of her childhood, how the streets were full of the smell. I use it with my plainest clothes, on my emptiest days. Almost doesn’t feel like a perfume, it’s like plucking a jasmine flower and rubbing it onto your neck.

i adore this perfume! it reminds me of a mall i used to frequent lol. i won't lie, it is a very basic and crowd pleasing perfume that's pretty inoffensive... but i still like it! it's a refreshing spring scent

There’s something sharp, yet creamy, classy, yet fun about this perfume. I am starting to open up to white florals, my first introduction being Kim Kardashian’s original perfume, and i adore that one. Gucci bloom is a beautiful perfume, there is no denying that. Even for white floral haters, this fragrance is beautiful. There’s something smokey about this as well, I think this fragrance can do it all. She can be with you when you wear a leather jacket, or when you wear a white dress. When you have a sweater on, or when you’re in a ballgown. When you’re happy, when you’re sad, when it’s raining, or when it’s sunny out. I think this fragrance can do it all, and is made for a woman/man/anyone who can do it all too. It’s growing on me, but for now i can’t declare this a love, i’m fairly new to white florals, and they’re not marketed towards my age group, so I still have much to learn, but for what it is, I am so far enjoying this. I really love the smoke quality this note has.

This perfume confuses me. One day I smell it, it has something a bit unique and on another day it’s quite generic. I think it’s quite overpriced nonetheless.

This really does smell like real tuberose flowers. I know it’s not listed but I smell orange blossoms, too. I think the Jasmine helps to amp up the tuberose, but I don’t smell it much on its own. This is super pretty, but it’s almost too sweet and linear for me. Linear isn’t always bad but since it maintains its sweetness throughout its wear, I find myself overwhelmed by it. Fortunately, it’s not a beast performer, because this is one perfume I wouldn’t be able to smell for 8 hours straight, no matter how pretty it may be.

To me it smells like cementary. Especially in Poland when people take White lilies and put them on graves. Nope thanks. Its not for modern woman I cant imagine any woman to wear it and be happy.

I always return to the note of tuberose, hoping to find a fragrance that will do it justice. Gucci Bloom is simply tuberose, jasmine, and honeysuckle, tropical and vintage-feeling florals that are as sweet as they are lush. My favorite aspects of Lys 41 without the vanilla dry-down, or like Xinu's OroNardo but a touch watered down. The scent is strong but the longevity is poor, only a couple hours, so you can enjoy a bubble without having to be in it all day. Not very unisex (femme), and I say with hesitance it is more mature. Easy for a white floral lover who doesn't want indolic or skanky complexity to challenge others.

I'm a sweet vanilla-based girl and don't like florals, so I don't have too many scents to compare this to and lean away from it. That said, I grew up with jasmine flowers, gardenias, and tuberose in my garden because my grandmother loved them. This perfume captures those scents so well! It's a straightforward, plain white floral. More personally, it evokes nostalgia for those days with my grandma (accordingly, it smells like something my grandmother would wear!)

I can see someone enjoying this scent and I can also see anyone wearing it, young or old! It can be sweet and chic. My memories and the perfume's lack of complexity make this older for me, as do some others in the reviews.

I really love this perfume and this is one of the easier reviews for me to write. This is pure tuberose and jasmine in the daytime. Just pure, unfiltered sweet white floral and little else here, but the imagery is strong for me. It reminds me of younger days (early 30s now). Spring time, childhood, green and white and fresh things. My hair is still golden, sun-bleached blonde and I'm in a powder blue and white sundress that matches the skies above me. There's fresh-washed sheets hanging on a nearby clothes-line and my grandmother's flower gardens are nearby. I'm probably counting clouds or something else whimsical. No worries - just bright and innocent happiness. In that there is a certain adult romanticism now that I enjoy. Yes, it is linear and, yes, it's minimalist. But sometimes I want that in my life. This world is too complicated and negative, anyway, and sometimes a long-lived and simple mood brightener is needed.

On my skin, white florals work very well and pretty much always stay the exact same smell in the bottle, freshly on my skin, and after several hours of wear. This one lasts long and rubs off on my papillon if I carry him while wearing it, so quality IMO is high. It's an 8.5/10 solely because I can admit it lacks a certain emotional depth and I find, e.g., Sergie Lutens Fleurs d'Oranger (and others) does what this does emotionally, but slightly better. I still have a bottle and I still love it and it makes me innocently happy.

This was my go-to perfume for 5 years and I still reach for it sometimes. The reason I chose it at the time was tuberose, I'll always appreciate the romance and elegance it evokes.
With the experience of 5 years with this fragrance I would like to state the following:
1. Yes, it might be linear but a minimalist will absolutely appreciate it, since being that simple it allows every note to sparkle. Moreover it might be only three notes but they blend very elegantly. They stand alone beautifully.
2. TRY IT ON FIRST. The other day I smelled it on a woman who was just passing by and it was terrible on her. A similar incident happened four months ago. Also if you are repurchasing try it on again. They have reformulated and it is a bit creamier and unfortunately sweeter. Make sure it suits you.
3. It might be a springtime scent but it absolutely shines on me during late autumn. I'd say it's too floral for summer and too light for actual winter.
4. If you like layering your perfumes: I might not usually like vanilla but it blends very nicely with minimal vanilla base perfumes. I'll let you know if I try anything else.

I have associated this perfume with my early-mid 20s and even though I'm not crazy about it anymore (mainly because of the reformulation) it will always hold a special place in my heart. It's a Lana Del Ray song in a bottle.

White floral lovers would really appreciate this perfume. Loved it when I first smelled it, but I think this perfume got boring really fast. I finished the whole bottle in 4-5 years. It smells nice, but there's something about it that doesn't make me feel excited to wear it. Lasted only around 3 hours on my skin.

almost cloying and ALMOST nauseating, skip this one

The bottle is ugly and so is the smell. Not sure what happened because I used to LOVE this perfume… now it just doesn’t stand out to me at all and I cannot use it. It’s extremely linear, only smells like white florals and has become incredibly boring, not to mention that the amount of sweetness makes me kind of nauseous. I tried layering it with another vanilla perfume to see if I’d like it better and that was the wrong decision… it smelled so much worse. Just don’t bother, there are much better perfumes out there for better prices

It's a yawn in a bottle. A shrug. Inoffensive, clean, floral, nothing special. Forgettable.

Bought Gucci Bloom when it was first released. Its a beautiful floral fragrance. On my skin it smells like it has honeysuckle in it ,must be the Rangoon creeper.
It lasts all day. Great for spring /summer.

This is a purely white floral scent, and I think it's quite beautiful. There's really no secret to it - you can probably imagine what it smells like if you are familiar with the notes. But it still surprising in performance. It's extremely feminine and very mature. It smells like a powerful woman would. A boss.
I think white floral scents are a bit tricky. I sometimes hate white floral perfumes because I think they're nauseatingly sweet, but at the same time when done right it's one of my favorite scents, a fresher kind of sweet. Not fresh in the sense of aromatic, but I-just-picked-these-flowers fresh. Gucci Bloom is definitely a bundle of freshly picked sweet white flowers.

Granny-chic. With a heavy dose of white floral realism. Upon first spray in Ulta, I was transported to my grandmother’s lavatory. Crocheted cotton lace privacy curtains, porcelain soap dishes, cups, and jars all adorned with idyllic scenes, flowers, and vines. A second whiff and the realism becomes apparent. I get a cigarette note, which I’m guessing is the jasmine. Does anyone else get that too? I’ve now been transported to an outdoor cafe on a cobblestone street. The sun has dipped below the buildings, and the warmth and the evening has wafted the scent of a blooming jasmine vine over to our table as we chat. That slight cigarette note is what amps up the “outdoor cafe” vibes for me I think. For the summery scene I’ve described, ironically I can’t do this one when it’s too hot; goes too bubblegummy. The lasting power is atrocious, but it’s pretty while it’s here.

#172 in my "Tour de Fragrance" and a sample I ordered by mistake because it was filtered as "unisex." It is most definitely not. This is pretty much like a floral scent my mother wore as long as I can remember. Not sure the brand but wouldn't surprise me if it were Avon. I really hated it and bought her some of the most expensive alternatives on the market. She gleefully swapped back and forth wearing the dozens of pieces of jewelry I bought her over the years, but never switched from that damn floral scent. She passed in 2007 at the age of 82 and that's pretty much the target age group for this fragrance. I passed this around three baristas at my favorite coffee spot, all early to mid-twenties, beautiful young women, and everyone pronounced it a "grandma scent" you'd expect to smell as a deodorizer in an extended care facility. I know Gucci doesn't get much love on this site, and I gotta admit I've given away most of the Gucci scents I've bought and don't plan on trying more, but this women's scent is just one note and it's a sad one. Maybe it would be suitable for layering in a white floral note with something that has more character, but maybe not.

Feeling it on my girlfriend's skin is something i enjoy. solid 8/10

I’ve got Rangoon creeper oil with me it’s smell like soap. Can someone confirm it’s this is real Rangoon creeper. It’s smells different than Gucci bloom.

White floral bomb. That is Gucci Bloom in three words.

This is the ultimate, the whitest, the most floral, the MOST WHITE FLORAL perfume ever. Although it officially only has three notes—jasmine, tuberose and Rangoon creeper—Gucci Bloom is quite potent. I can definitely smell hints of other white flowers here, such as orange blossom. Given how simple it is, it’s no surprise that Gucci Bloom is on the linear side—what you smell is what you get, from the opening to the drydown. No opening, no changing, no shift from top, middle or base notes. The tuberose and jasmine dominate, yet are equal partners. Surprisingly, despite white florals being notorious for offending either with their sweetness or indolic, animalic undertones, Gucci Bloom’s white florals lean more toward stye soapy, creamy or vanillic, at least on my skin.

Longevity is so-so. I had only a small, single spritz on my arm and it lasted about three or four hours before it disappeared. Sillage is decent, a little less than arm’s length. I do rather like it—I live in an area where white florals, star jasmine and orange blossom bloom throughout spring into early summer, so I have come to love smelling these flowers in warm weather. I’m also partial to the opaque porcelain bottle. I’d say, if you’re in the search of a pleasant, feminine, approachable, no-frills white floral, then Gucci Bloom is worth a shot.

I love tuberose, but here it is both over- and under-done. Over done in its potency, underdone in the failure of the fragrance to gently open up tuberose and blend it in well with the jasmine note which is present, but often overwhelmed.
I will shelve to retest in the winter, perhaps time will bring the notes together.

Boring White flowers. Not for me.

This one is all tuberose and jasmine. There is a bit of sweetness to it and it’s blended very well so neither note overpowers the other.

I would have thought there were fruits in this because it does smell sweet to my nose but it doesn’t sound like there are any.

It smells like the inside of a florist with some sweet fruits mixed in is the best way to describe this one.

You have to be a big lover or tuberose and or jasmine to love this one and unfortunately I am not. Still a lovely perfume and I will enjoy my bottle.

I love both jasmine and tuberose, but the jasmine and tuberose notes don't smell naturalistic to my nose in this. It's cloyingly sweet and it gives me a bit of a headache and this is coming from someone who loves white florals!

It also smells a bit too mainstream and not unique enough for my tastes I have to say.

The longevity and sillage are good though and this isn't a bad perfume. Just nothing wonderful or different and definitely more synthetic smelling than natural smelling.

Granny in the best way possible, old money style. The tuberose gives it its hint of sweetness and rounds it off perfectly. Granted it's still a floral which i can imagine could get pretty heady if over-sprayed. Despite that this is a great fragrance that is worth its price tag. Although i'd love to wear this myself i'm afraid i have not matured to it yet and this perfume thrives in sophistication.

There's beauty in simplicity, that is this perfume. The notes when applied are exactly what it says on the tin: definitively jasmine and tuberose, no surprises, not even in the dry-down. Personally, I am a big fan of jasmine and this just makes my heart flutter. An alluring bouquet you may sniff once or twice at first, but something pulls you back in as you indulge in getting multiple whiffs throughout the day. This is pretty safe if you're a floral lover. Bloom is simplistic yet sophisticated perhaps even a bit sensual. The only unfortunate part is that it doesn't last that long on me :(

This is such a beautiful scent! It’s very soapy and a bit powdery. It definitely smells like a luxurious soap you get at a very expensive hotel. Weirdly enough, it kind of smells humid to my nose. It would be perfect for a wedding or a picnic. It’s not something I’d wear at night but that comes down to personal preference. It’s simple but it’s a gem. Sadly it doesn’t last long on me, it has only lasted up to 2 hours on my skin and 3-4 on my clothes. If you’re thinking of buying it, I’d definitely test it out in Sephora first and then wear it the entire day to see if it’ll last. I think I might invest in the dossier version to see if it’ll last longer

I have both Gucci Bloom and Gucci Bloom Nettare di flori. I love both!
I'd recommend "Bloom" if you love floral and subtle fragrances! The notes are exactky what you nose get once you spray it on your skin.
I'd recommend "Nettare di flori" if you love floral but also want some sweetness and depth. I find that one to be more dimensional.

But over all, both of them are so nice and gentle to the nose, you will feel like a princess of flowers with whatever of these!

It's perfect for Radiohead fans: no alarms and no surprises. If you love photorealistic white florals, you will love it. If you're not sure about white florals, ohhh my god do not blind buy.

Jasmine is my favorite note and this is my favorite interpretation of it. Simple? Yes, but that's what makes it so intoxicating. Bloom always gives me the mental image of being inside a magnolia flower, with their beautiful white, waxy petals. The scent is the perfect mix of defined, fresh, and comforting. It performs best as a warm-weather daytime perfume, but I wear it to bed whenever I'm having trouble sleeping just because of how comforting it is to me. I think jasmine is a familiar scent for many people, which makes this a great crowd-pleaser as well.

The scent itself is linear, but at least on my skin, it seems to really come into itself after about 30 minutes and goes from being a bit too heady to perfectly fresh. I think it's best on the skin. I don't usually wear it on my clothes.

The tuberose is similar enough for most people to jasmine that I would consider it a soliflore. If you want something with more complexity, check out the rest of the Bloom line. They have some gems!

I really really wanted to like this but it just smells bitter and acidic both in the bottle and even moreso on my skin. Definitely not for me :(

This is spicy floral done right. It’s a mainstream scent that’s been done before, but gucci did it RIGHT. I absolutely love this and have been wearing it steady for a while. It smells so happy , like a beautiful flower crown of jasmine, Tuberose and Rangoon, floating on the golden hair of an elven princess on her afternoon wedding in her English castle gardens… in Rivendell, and she just hugged her grandma . Lol that’s the combo I get. And I love it.
The dry down is what I’m super super deeply in love with. I spray Bloom on my clothes just to wear them later with the soft creamy dry down.

This done not smell mature to me, but it does smell like the daughter or grand daughter of a mature fragrance. It smells sophisticated, but remains simple, and doesn’t take you on a stomach churning ride every time faking you out that it’s a floral, but it’s not!

It’s not animalic like Do Son, it’s spicier than Grand Bal, it’s not as singular and intense as EL private collection Tuberose Gardenia. It lacks the Rose in Bloom Ambrosia.

Rating my white florals: tied for first are grand Bal & Bloom, third fave is bloom ambrosia & EL Tuberose gardenia, fourth is Do Son edt (I don’t like EDP) I have carolina Herrera OG clear bottle, but I can’t even wear it I don’t know why, but it doesn’t count. It’s not bad, it’s just too much and maybe it’s too sweet. But perfume is funny like that. Also I have Lilac Path by Aerin and even though it’s a lilac perfume it is really quite heavy with the white florals, and if it’s in the ranking it’s up high, and has a bit of a warm vanilla base to it, just a soft one. And Honour is in my collection and is beautiful too, it’s more complex , which usually I do not prefer. It is quite toasty cozy with a hint of woody power under the soft delicate floral top and middle. It’s up there in the ranking, certainly but it’s not soli-flore enough to put with other white florals.

This is quite linear and heavy white floral scent. Here you experience the whole flower including stem, which gives bitter green nuances in an unpleasant way. That bitterness turns my stomach. Not something I would classify as modern and youthful.

Gucci Bloom is a mainstream fragrance that clearly goes with the brand's aesthetic vision at the time. Gucci in 2017 was having a "70s everything" moment, and this clearly expresses that. While it's extremely simple to the nose, there's a bit going on that creates the effortlessly simple aroma. On the surface, there's a creamy white tuberose and a smooth jasmine. Looking a bit closer, there appears to be some sandalwood, white musk and maybe a little vanilla. The statement from chickenlittle that it smells like "death, in a feminine way" is both hilarious and (now that I've read that) quite true.

A little bit of an add-on: Michael by Michael Kors is better, in my opinion but also quite similar. As boygirl suggests, perhaps this is great for layering with scents like that. I have a sample of that, so I might try. Will report back if I do.

Green, grassy white floral. VERY strong. I started with one spray and could smell it on myself overwhelmingly for a while so decided to scrub since it was getting a bit headachey. If you love white floral and tuberose, this one is for you. Probably best for layering as it is pretty linear and one-note

Smelled lovely on paper strip hence decided to spray on my wrist. Alas, on me headache inducing vibe- as stated above tuberose and me aren't best friends--and way too linear. Being amber vanilla type of person, no surprise that this scent which consists of 3 flowers is not my thing.

Reminds me like 90% of a scent I knew back in the 80ies, but for the life of me I can't remember which one it was.

This is not bad though. For those who love tuberose, try it by all means.

Smells a little like death. But in a flowery, feminine way. It is simple and tuberose-heavy, so if you like that then go for it. Reminds me of seasonal depression (but make it springtime). Makes me sad but at least I smell like an unkept garden.

I don’t understand the longevity complaints here. I wore this yesterday and it stayed with me the entire day. Having just purchased it, I can’t say how long it lasts on clothes but I imagine it would be days as I could still smell it on my shirt this morning. Body chemistry is so weird. Lol. If you love tuberose and bit of green, it’s definitely worth a try. Its simplicity is definitely what attracted me.

I don't care about what anyone says. this is so beautiful to me! I'm probably not the target audience here (a 19-year-old who mainly likes gourmand/more "childish" scents) but MAN something about this fragrance is addictive.
it's a very basic floral composition yet it's somehow different than other floral scents. you certainly get the jasmine and tuberose, which are blended amazingly to leave a soft/creamy and feminine scent trail. there's also an underlying earthy/green/fresh tone to this, which I love so much. it makes me feel very fresh/clean. this is the kind of perfume I'd throw on while wearing a cute spring dress/skirt.
I know for a fact that this will be my go-to for the spring/summer.
Also, you can try layering this with Bath and Body Works At the Beach lotion/mist (very coconut-heavy) to make it more "summery"

a simple, refreshing scent fit for something like a casual date in the summertime. major emphasis on the 'simple', however. this perfume is remarkably unremarkable, especially considering the price.

In my opinion, this perfume is disgusting. Not a safe blind buy. I tested this in-store and it made me wince, the stench of funeral home filling the perfume aisle. I was literally gagging in the middle of the store because of how offensive this scent is to the nose. Weirdly enough, it reminds me of flowers on the edge of decay; not dead flowers, but week-old flowers left in the sun. Uncomfortably warm and sickly sweet with an underlying rotten smell, something is just "off" with this funky fragrance.

It is very heavy on the tuberose so if you hate tuberose, avoid this monstrosity. If you really love tuberose and classic florals, then this actually might be for you because many people seem to love it.

This is not a safe blind buy, and turns sour and unpleasant in the drydown. Ugh.

Bought this couple years ago. I really liked the scent in the store, but when I started to use it I hated it. A couple hours after spraying it on it just had a nasty smell. I really felt uncomfortable wearing this. I gave it some chances but was disappointed each time.

And also: the packaging feels so cheap.

This reminds me of the Empress card in the tarot. Luminous, lush, potent, and richly feminine.

I bought this on the spot while I was passing a long layover in an airport perfume store. The bottles for the recent Gucci fragrances are so gorgeous and I made my way through smelling them all, mostly being unimpressed. This one smelled so different from the rest; I immediately swooned.

It's a photorealistic tuberose. You just literally smell like a creamy, hypnotic, gorgeous tuberose blossom. On me, it's a soliflore and pretty linear, but I consider those things to be refreshing perks if they're done really well (if I love a scent, why wouldn't I want to keep smelling that way instead of drying down to a generic vanilla or wood?). Bloom does these things very well.

I tend to use just one spray and it stays with me all day. Mellows down nicely, the dry-down isn't super sweet and doesn't surprise you with anything old-ladyish. I just love it.

True to description. Burst of jasmine ( in the sense of perfume jasmine, not real jasmine) then it stays tubersose. Competently done. I think my preference is between fresh aquatic and lush—a perfect balance that dances to your soul. Not sure this does that, but it is competently formulated in a mechanical way that lacks human mastery.

Pure tuberose with creamy jasmine. A basic but effective scent that is suitable for every day and for work. I like it but I would still prefer something like this with a little something else added. There's beauty in simplicity and this succeeds in what it tries to be, but I'd like a tiny bit more complexity. It would still be basic but it would have a small uniqueness to it. Still conveying and putting the spotlight on the white florals, while having something support them in the background. But maybe that's just me.

I think for what it is and for the simplicity of it the price is outrageous though.

SKIN UPDATE:
I do have to note that here in the first few minutes if I smell it on my skin, rather than in the air, there is a slight stink-like smell in the background. Exactly the same one as the one I get in Jil Sander No. 4. I originally thought that was due to the civet note but now I don't think so anymore. Both Jil Sander and Gucci are owned by Coty and No. 4 has a dominant note of jasmine. So my theory - Coty uses the same jasmine accord which on my skin ends up slightly stinky for the first few minutes, unless smelled in the air. So keep that in mind I suppose.

Or it could be the tuberose too tbh. It's one of those. They both have it.

It’s smells beautiful after 3 hours, but I don’t want to wait 3 hours to actually love my perfume, so this won’t be in my collection.

However, this perfume provides a beautiful scent trail and very long wear.

This was the first perfume I ever purchased, I fell in love with it immediately. It's a simple, floral scent, very elegant and lasts long. Maybe a little bit on the heavier side.

not a fan of very light, floral fragrances, but this one stood out to me. very simple, i like it. not a fan of gucci, considering their perfumes are so expensive (my wallet is crying), but this one is nice. it is... very, very weak though. could only smell it on myself for less than an hour... other than that, it's one that i like, only a little though. cute bottle too, the pink is gorgeous, really fits the fragrance!

Honestly this perfume reminds me of 5th Avenue (70%) and 5th Avenue NYC Vibe (90%) by Elizabeth Arden. It's almost identical, minus the coconut note in that one (which is slightly sweeter). Maybe also a bit of J'Adore, it's that kind of fragrance ... but without the pear /fruity notes, it's a bit too linear.

It's a beautiful fragrance but just a simple floral. Reminds me of the florals of the early 2000s, before the sugar bombs appeared. I think Paris Hilton, or even Coco Mademoiselle (without the pepper, musk etc. whatever makes that one slightly pungent to my nose).

As other reviewers have said, it's a clean, bright fragrance that does conjure images of 'bridal' and white.. it isn't soapy or anything, just clean and linear.

For the record I have Michael Kors' OG fragrance and Kim Kardashian's first fragrance (both identical) that are both based on tuberose and this one has the slightest note in it, not tuberose-y at all, unlike the other two which are very strong on the tuberose note.

Same with Lush's Jasmine perfume. That one is thick and oily and has a distinct benzoic note, like mothballs, mixed with the jasmine. I can't detect anything of the sort in this one, not even the jasmine.

I’m surprised vanilla isn’t listed. But my guess is that the tuberose is a buttery tuberose. It’s a very green tuberose in the opening, but once it settles on the skin, it becomes an earthy-vanilla, white floral scent. If you can get through the opening, then it’s actually pretty good.
It took awhile to grow on me. But I want this for layering. This has a retro vibe. Like 1970s/80s Gucci ecstatic. This is not a safe blind buy.

This is a GRANDMA scent. Hell, even my grandmother prefers more modern scents. It is not soapy, it is not sweet, it just smells dated.

If you are in search of a linear, modern floral, this one might fit the bill.

I experience a fairly constant blend of jasmine and tuberose when I wear this -- equally balanced, and not skanky. It's office-friendly (i.e. not dirty, carnal, or any of the other adjectives that can be applied to those gorgeous white flowers, depending upon the nature of their presentation in a fragrance -- if you want "dirty" jasmine, try Lush's Lust), projects moderately, and develops in a linear fashion. What you spray is what you get; there are few (or no) surprises here.

I like it. I truly do. I don't *love* it, but I *like* it. I'd happily accept it if someone gave me a bottle. It's an "easy reach" fragrance; you'll smell pleasant while wearing it, you'll probably enjoy the experience, and you're not likely to cause offense to others.

When it comes to the idea of purchasing this, though, I'm on the fence. I *do* enjoy it. If it were offered in a 10ml travel spray (as opposed to a rollerball, which I personally dislike), I might be tempted to give this perfume an extended test run. Do I want to invest in a larger amount at this time? Hmmmm... not quite yet.

If I describe this scent in a positive way, it’s not overwhelming, smells like actual flowers (not artificial), you can wear this everyday/anywhere, and no one’s gonna hate this smell on you.

Now, to be brutally honest, it’s BORING as hell. Just flower. That’s it. And it doesn’t even last long.

If I describe this scent as a person, she is pretty and nice to everyone but no one really seems to care or be intimidated (in a good way) bout her presence. She doesn’t have any personality or charms.

Pretty, light tuberose. There are cheaper, longer lasting options out there though that smell very similar in my opinion.

Bloom is a lovely white floral scent. I wish it had a little more dimension, but if you are a fan of linear florals, I do think this is a nice option. I think I would personally be more likely to pair this with another perfume than wear it on it's own. I'm thinking Musc Ravageur might pair nicely on top of this one.

The first time I smelled this on my sister, I told her, "You smell like a bride". I'm from Assam in India (yes, the home of Assam tea) and growing up, brides would wear strands of tuberose on their hair. There would be tuberose garlands decorating the venue as well, and weddings would not be complete without that heady intoxicating scent perfuming the air. I know Gucci Bloom is touted as a jasmine scent, but having grown up among jasmine bushes and tuberose plants, I assure you this is as close to a real tuberose as it gets. I love that this isn't sweetened like every other white floral these days. This is white through and through, and warm and creamy as opposed to soapy. It doesn't have to be anything else.

When my sister gifted me a bottle, I was beyond joyous. I wore it to watch a movie with my friend. After a while she started sniffing the air around us and said, "Someone's wearing a floral hair oil." I was heartbroken when we established it was indeed me. I set the bottle aside for the longest time, and then a few months ago, swapped it for the Narciso Eau de Toilette (the black cube) I didn't think much of it because I knew that one is getting harder and harder to find.

But then again, I realised I was craving the heady tuberose scent. I think it must because I smelled that Bath and Body Works mist, Fresh Gardenia, which again is a beautiful realistic white floral that is gone in seconds. What do you know, I hunted down a bigger bottle of Gucci Bloom, and am basking in its soft white cloud today.

Having been on both sides of this one, I do understand the comments about it being headache inducing. Because guess what, real tuberoses are potentially headache inducing too. In fact, two stalks in a vase in a living room has the potential to choke out the room. But that's the thing about white florals, right? They don't have a lot going on for them in terms of colour which is why they need to make up for it with their heady perfumes.

I am glad I took my time with this one, and honestly, I have zero regrets about swapping it because now I have two perfumes that I know for sure I love. Longevity in this one could be better given how strong it opens, so I wouldn't wear it on days when I know I will be outside for long hours, but if you're like me and staying at home or going out for short errands, I think this is a delightful way of sparking instant joy with just three spritzes every now and then.

I'm testing this fragrance on myself today, and honestly I love it. From start to finish, lovely floral scents cover you with mostly the Jasmine coming through. It feels as though you are laying in a bed of flowers, so feminine and comforting. Simple, elegant but unique, I think this perfume is perfect for everyday wear in Spring. I just wish it lasted longer, it starts fading slightly about 2 hours in, but overall lasted about 5 hours, with barely any trace left by hour 5.
I think I prefer the Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori better as it's more complex, less sweet and more herby, but Gucci Bloom stands on its own very well.

I regret buying this perfume it’s boring and doesn’t last that much after 2H you can barely smell it I don’t recommend it at all ..

I am in the process of testing this perfume, and while I love floral scents, this is a bit too strong for me. The jasmine and tuberose overpower your nose like no other and reminds me of a more mature woman, perhaps in her late 30s to 40s, since it is more of a straight forward floral and doesn't have any fruit/sweet notes. However, there is nothing bad about this; maybe when I am older, I will purchase a bottle since I enjoy a good green floral perfume.

One of my all time favorite scents. First smelled this when I was 17 years old and fell in love immediately. Ironically, I’m not a big fan of green scents with rose or too much floral. But this for some reason smells so elegant and uplifting that I can’t pin point exactly what I am smelling. I do get the jasmine note and a creamy fresh scent. It’s very strong and projection can give others headaches! A lot of people say this is very mature and out dated, lol I don’t think this is an outdated perfume in any way. Not everyone wants to smell like sugar coated raspberry’s and lemon.

A lot of people think this is a basic, boring floral scent. If you’re not into florals, obviously you wouldn’t like it, but I think it’s very classy and clean spring scent. It is very simple, but I still think it’s nice.

A strong, linear jasmine. An indolic white floral that dries down ever so slightly powdery.

I'm all for florals but this smells like a straight up funeral parlor. Kind of surprised this is such a mainstream scent as it smells very dated. Love Gucci perfumes but not a fan of this at all. Major scrubber

Nice, classic white floral scent. Basic jasmine and tuberose but it smells very fresh and green to me. Perfect for spring and summer, I love to wear this right after it rains. Has an almost dewy quality.

I have a Love-Hate Relationship with this Fragrance. I bought it as a Blind buy and I don’t even understand why I bought it because I’m not into Florals. Today for some reason I revisited this scent and I remembered why I felt the way I felt. It’s so Floral! So it seems Old or Dated but it also smells Chic; Roof Top Brunch Chic; like a Satin Outfit; it’s hard describe! Definitely not a safe blind by based on experience but it’s not as bad for Me as I initially thought. Spring-Early Summer approved.

This doesn't smell dated to me. It just smells like a tuberose soliflore that's toned down a bit. I like it a bit because it smells to me like a more modern Design. I like others more in my collection than this. It's not unpleasant, it's just not too exciting.

This is quite lovely . I get the tuberose more than anything. I can also slightly smell that honeysuckle-esq note in this one. I don’t generally like honeysuckle but I feel like it works here. It brings a subtle sweetness to the scent. The jasmine lends a bit of sensuality; light & sexy. Keep in mind I do love a light tuberose & jasmine. They are the 2 of the only white florals that I like (the only other being orange blossom) so this blend is perfect for me. I find this scent very pretty & classy. It’s meant for certain occasions such as work, church, weddings, nice day dates etc. This is a fragrance that you wear when you’re dressed up. I don’t find it mature. I find it very chic, but everyone can’t pull it off in that manner. I don’t have a strictly white floral scent, but I think I would love a full bottle of this.

This was one of the first perfumes I ever truly loved, and it was my signature scent for like two years. I only stopped wearing it because I grew slightly tired of pure florals. I always have a bottle in my possession, though, for the occasional days I crave that fresh, flower-bouqet smell.

u guys are weird I love this perfume it's in my top 3 for sure. im such a slut for tuberose and I love the jasmine. so fresh and clean in the best floral way. its not mature its SOPHISTICATED. extremely strong tho and def not for everyday

An incredibly linear scent that screams of jasmine once it sits on the skin. I made the mistake of choosing to wear this during the winter, when it was a bit too acrid and powdery smelling. In the spring and summer months, I can see this opening up beautifully.

This is like sticking your head in a bouquet of flowers. I love fruity florals and there is something slightly fruity about this to me. Somewhat addictive to smell. Very floral pretty strong not safe for an office.

Really beautiful scent when I smelled the tester.
It did not age well on my skin, though - I smelled like rotten flowers blended with rotten banana after about an hour. It didn’t help that it really projected. I think this happens to me when I wear purely floral fragrances.
However, if your skin interacts well with it, you might smell like a delicate, slightly powdery, garden.

This was my very first full size fragrance purchase and in the 5 or 6 years since I haven’t found a fragrance that does what this one does for me. Despite it being such a fresh white floral my first impression was that it would make a beautiful fall fragrance, the crispness I get after the first spray reminds me of crunchy fall leaves. For me, it’s not something I would wear in warm summer weather, I find it much nicer when there’s just a little bit of a chill in the air.

I was looking for a jasmine fragrance to get me through the DREADED AUSSIE SUMMER so I was planning to get the Ellie Saab le parfum but Gucci bloom won over in the end. Really intoxicating and clean tuberose in the opening, nothing soapy or with aldehydes. From first spray i get hints of acidic/sweet fruit, think hints of lemon and pineapple. Jasmine is more noticeable once it dries down and it harmonises with the tuberose in such a simple and authentic way. Once it dries down, the florals become powdery but not in a musky iris powdery which sometimes irritates my nose, but the dry down is almost milky and creamy on my skin, almost like a buttercream or a french buttery pastry. The longevity is reasonable, one spray lasted 2-3 hours on my bare wrist and it left a nice trail within arms length. Now im thinking of ways to layer up this one, any ideas?

Two words: 'Mild' and 'lovely'. It gives off warm, watery florals. I'm in love with it. White flowers, then tuberose and jasmine hits. Gently... It's a floral fragrance through and through, but without the sting and stench of anything that "tries too hard" to make gentle scents more sophisticated. It's simple, subtle, purely floral, without any pretenses. One of the best and most gentle white flower scents I've ever smelled in my life.

Not incredibly sophisticated but since it was played on the side of simplicity, it's nice if you particularly like this note, which can sometimes stand on its own.

(I smelled it from a roll-on, so I can't really comment on the sillage, but I imagine it must be quite powerful).

Tried wearing this the other day and it went terrible. The coldness of the air ruined it so bad?! For me it certainly is not winter appropriate. Besides this I’ve considered bloom a sweet love because I’ve had her for years. My sister associates this one with me for some reason which I don’t quite get because I never reached for it that often. Fragrance memory is silly in that way I suppose.

The smell is just like fresh light flower and powdery to the max. It gives off femininity in a classy gentle way. No girly girl but a femme flower.

I love white florals and I love tuberose so this was perfect for me. I like the simplicity of the scent. I do wish it lasted longer, it won't last a full 8 hour work day

Just BEAUTIFUL 😍. I love Gucci Bloom. I’m a white floral aficionado and this one checks all the right boxes for me. It’s so lush without being overbearing, fresh and green with minimal indoles, strong and long lasting without being annoying. It has vintage vibes but with a modern twist, a creamy floral without stuffy powderiness, rich without being sickeningly sweet and lastly my beloved jasmine can peak through without being completely overwhelmed by tuberose.
Maybe these reasons are why Gucci bloom was successful in making tuberose trendy again; although most of its recent successors are much sweeter.
Of course there have been attempts to break the old-lady stigma associated with tuberose over the last couple of decades, and I own and love many of them (MK, ToD, KK, JC come to mind. Unfortunately none of them were able to achieve the breakthrough in the market as well as Bloom did. That’s why I’ll always appreciate it for making my endeared tuberose and jasmine trendy again. 💖💖💖

It's such a simple fragrance, straightforward jasmine and tuberose, but it's so amazing! I don't know what it is. I've smelled my fair share of jasmine and tuberose forward scents before, but this is just so well balanced and pretty. It's an easy reach perfume that puts me in a good mood.

I much prefer Do Son EDT to Bloom - both are dominant tuberose, white florals. Do Son has a more realistic, aromatic tuberose vs Bloom that smells a bit synthetic to me. However, I do understand that Bloom pulls other notes that are blended in a way that others may not like the much more greener, fresher take on a white floral fragrance such as Do Son.

Love the smell but didn’t give it 5 stars because the staying power and sillage are very poor for me.

Um, did NOT expect to fall head over heels for this perfume. I think I've tried this in the store and liked it, but this is my first time actually wearing a sample. I went into testing thinking "oh, just another tuberose" like all the tuberoses we've been flooded with in recent years, but NO. It's not like the other ones! It's not creamy and gourmand, nor is it sharp and synthetic. Gucci Bloom is fresh, floral sweet, a little green, and a little otherworldly...the perfume it reminds me the most of is Beyond Paradise from Estee Lauder (the original). I haven't smelled that perfume since it first came out (2003!), but this is the white floral accord in that perfume - realistic but also a little bit alien. I really like it, this is intoxicating. It also lasts on my clothing forever, over 24 hours. It's heaven when I put on my worn pajamas and get a whiff of this. Now I want to test the new Beyond Paradise, to see which one I like better...I thought after so many years that this kind of floral would no longer knock me off my feet, but I was wrong. I need this.

I so wanted to like this perfume. It was a blind buy, after seeing the notes, it appeared very flowery and colorful. 10/10 for the design of the bottle.
It is kind of a beautiful scent for the right person (I sold it online immediately), but unfortunately, it's not for me.
Makes me think of a too loud middle-aged woman, or a person with a strong personality everybody was raving about to you, and when you finally meet them, they are lovely but you are just totally not on the same page. I almost smell a little bit of pee in there between all the flowers.

I wasn’t intend to buy the tester of this perfume but at first sniff I’m glad I did! It’s a very feminine jasmine that makes me feel at home(yes my mom used to plant jasmine in our garden) after the jasmine blast I smell hint of tuberose with something floral-y sweet. It’s surprisingly a very calming scent. Some said that it’s a grandma scent but I dont care. Even though it reminds me of my mom but this perfume is not old at all. Too bad that the projection is not that good but I love it anyway. Good job Gucci👏🏻👏🏻

a very true jasmine - white floral fragrance. not mature or powdery, but nice. Feminine and pretty, ageless really. Its slightly tart which is what makes it a little more realistic than other ultra sweet or powdery white florals, but in saying that its also very clean and pretty. Definitely not an 'old lady' scent to my nose like I've heard. Its nice. Sits very close to the body and for its price I wish the silage & projection was better. Hoping that storing it on a dark shelf for awhile will help with that. There's better white florals out there but this is a good one.

I tried the Gucci Bloom EDT in a store and immediately fell in love with it. The EDP that stood by its side sounded too loud for my nose. I prefer lighter and fresher fragrances, and the EDT reminded me of the L'Oreal Inforcer Mascara smell, which I found really pretty.
The EDP was on sale in my town, so, despite preferring the EDT, I ended up purchasing it.
I like it, but it's too tuberousy to me. Overly flowery, and i fell it kinda sweet. It gave me a bit of a migraine today.
I'm thinking about selling it online since I'm not a collector and like to keep my stash simple. (although im never satisfyed, always looking for the PERFECT fragrance ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )

This is so pretty, ultra feminine but not in a gourmand sugar bomb way, more like a fresh clean gentle floral perfume. I picture this being the signature scent of someone gentle, kind, feminine a graceful. This is pure white florals done in the best possible way. I have been wanting this for 3 years and now I finally have it I'm never letting it go!

Very Nice! I purchased this upon its release and I really like it. I, literally, have one drop left in the bottle, and my daughter used my lotion. This is definitely worth repurchasing. I am highly considering doing so. I love the fresh smell of white flowers--so feminine and flirty! The opening of this fragrance is absolutely gorgeous. The dry down exudes class and sophistication. Yes, I just made my mind up--I will be repurchasing this. Until then, I'm saving my last drop--you know--in case of an emergency, lol!

September 6, 2023--I was out doing some cosmetic jewelry shopping yesterday; and I came across a stunning, yet accurate, dupe for this lovely fragrance. I picked it up, along with a gardenia body oil. I layered both together last night--to test the fragrance--and, woah! These two smell absolutely gorgeous together! Almost identical to the original Gucci Bloom! My husband could not stop smelling my hand. He absolutely loved the fragrance. I am wearing it today at work, then later to a comedy show.

This is a pretty white floral. Mainly tuberose supported by jasmine. Very sweet and girly. It has zero depth though. I wouldn't buy a full bottle. I prefer Amaouge Love Tuberose and BDK Tubereuse Imperial much more. I do love the bottle though!

Just yuk. Can’t even smell it after 5 minutes on my skin. A waste of money.

Smells like a dream 💚 absolutely wonderful 👌👌🌼🌸 I love it. BUT......! Fades away from your skin with a snap at your fingers 🤌.

If you sit still in a chair or a sofa a hole day long , you might be able to smell it after 2-3 hours .

But if you walk, sweat, cook, clean, play with your kids or the dog, (do normal everyday human things) You won't be able to notice it after a couple of hours, only a faint memory on fabric if you're lucky...!!

In this case, price definitely doesn't match the quality, all you pay for is the brand. Gucci Bloom has a lot in common with Kim Kardashian signature, but does not last any bit longer, only cost Way to much 👎👎

This is a straight to the point, fist-full of white flowers, which is absolutely what I wanted from it. Sits close and ok longevity.

Gucci Bloom is a simple but beautiful tuberose scent. The tuberose is smooth, creamy and sweet, unchallenging but deeply pleasant. Tuberose as a note is multifaceted - it ranges from being heady and waxy to green to bubblegum-y. It can be potentially funereal or headache-inducing, sometimes too sharp, but here it is deeply enjoyable, soft and feminine. I recently tried Matière Première French Flower which resembles this but with greater longevity and some ambroxan in the base. Gucci Bloom still performs reasonably well, but is softer and prettier, as well as slightly green which balances out the sweet, heady white floral accord. Another point in GB's favour is that it isn't sweetened with vanilla, which I find makes many modern white florals too sweet and somewhat cloying. I sampled the EDP.

GB opens with its white floral accord, the aforementioned tuberose bolstered by clean jasmine. Smooth and sweet, it is cleanly feminine. It becomes powdery as it develops, and slightly musky as it fades. Sillage and longevity are moderate.

Softer than the likes of Carnal Flower or Fracas, this is a very wearable, soft, sweet white floral that is reminiscent of a garden. Classic in style, this delivers easy feminine elegance for all ages. One of the better mass market scents available today. A great everyday scent for springtime. 4/5.

I do not understand why there is so much disdain for this gorgeous fragrance. I don’t understand the remarks of it being grannyish. For me, it evokes an image of a ballerina. She's in her early 20s, she's from a rich family but she's not at all mean or pretentious, she's sweet and thoughtful and stunningly beautiful. She uses expensive soaps and shampoos that her mom stocks up on when they take trips to France, and she always wears beautiful dainty jewelry. Of course she loves pink everything.

Bloom is a soft sweet and creamy floral that doesn't project like crazy but the longevity is insane. On my skin I can smell it the next day, and on my sweater I can still smell it for weeks. And last, I also adore the bottle. I love the soft pink minimalist aesthetic. It's gorgeous and luxurious in every single way!

I can tell there is tuberose, soft and powdery, this doesn't lean bubblegummy or sour on my skin, which is a miracle in itself. The overall effect is like smelling small jasmine flowers on the breeze on a balmy night. It is very natural,if a little too simple and straightforward to my liking. Intimate sillage and moderate longevity.

When the all tuberose craze started few years back I bought a small bottle of bloom to scratch that itch for a floral scent I didn't know I liked. Likely it was the smallest bottle I could find because even though it smelled nice it ultimately frustrated me for how fast the scent was gone. I couldn't be bothered to travel around with the bottle and keep spraying every hour or less. Happy to smell it while it lasted but won't be repurchasing or won't even go near any other flanker. The fragrance itself is very linear, tuberose. (if supported by jasmine that must have been so subtle and well blended in the tuberose) straight forward, simple but not necessarily the best execution of tuberose nor the most performing out there.

Strong feelings are interesting, when you stop to think about it. One of my strongest scent memories is blind buying Gucci Rush back in 1999. I ripped that baby open and immediately squirted it directly at my chest like a fresh baby bird trying to fly for the first time. Original Gucci Rush was some potent stuff and it lasted in that shirt through three washes. I am not exaggerating. But, it got me a lot of compliments while I was out with my friends that night, and I'll never ever be able to forget it.
I mention this because I'll always be grateful to Gucci for that memory. Bloom on the other hand... it's fine. I'm not sure what I was expecting when I first tried it out a few years ago at the mall. No, that's a bit of a lie, I know exactly what I was expecting. I had hoped for another moment like Gucci Rush the first time. Sadly Bloom did not give that same feeling.
It's not bad, mind you, it's just fine. A slightly jasmine medium indolic tuberose. It turns more tutti fruity tuberose rather than say, Michael Kors banana-y tuberose but then that's it. The first time I wore Bloom out someone mentioned how nice my shampoo smelled. 😰
The opposite of "good" isn't always "bad", it's "this could be better", and that's where Bloom is for me. I'm sure they intended for people to buy several bottles in the Bloom line and mix them for a customized fragrance, but they're so expensive that that simply isn't a wise option for me. So I'll enjoy mixing the little sample I have until it's gone and savor my memories of Gucci Rush.

Bloom by Gucci is ok. When I was in college, Gucci by Gucci was my signature scent. I picked up Bloom because I was curious and excited about the major shift in the branding and scent story for this designer house. I was pretty underwhelmed. Bloom is uncomplicated, linear, and inoffensive. It reminds me of a classy stay at home mom who is still in the prime of her youth.

That being said, after I finish my Bloom roller, I won’t be repurchasing.
(The flankers in this line I find rank because they include black currant which makes me insta queasy. It makes me sad!)

If you love tuberose overdose, you can easily find Bloom by Gucci perfume at Marshals on discount.

Edit: Having recently smelled a bouquet of fresh tuberose flowers--Bloom is dead on for a natural tuberose smell! I realize that I do like tuberose but I'm not in love with that scent. I wish I loved tuberose more because Bloom would probably be a home run signature scent. Oh well!

Really nice old fashioned (but in the best possible way) floral fragrance. Could easily be from the 80's or 90's. Actually really reminds me of YSL Paris, obviously different floral notes, but similarly strong and unapologetic. Sillage and longevity are both great. The only thing I hate about it is the bottle, it's square and boring. But the perfume is amazing!

Amazing, I love it for colder weather. Got a lot of compliments.

I agree with the reviewer below claiming it smells like flowers and that's it. I got it as a sample and it will remain that way.
