Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori by Gucci is a Floral fragrance for women. Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top notes are Galbanum Leaf, Cassis, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Honeysuckle, Tuberose, Jasmine, Lily-of-the-Valley and Freesia; base notes are Musk, Iso E Super and Sandalwood.

Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori comes out in spring 2018 as the first flanker of Gucci Bloom original floral fragrance from 2017 and the second perfume from Gucci under the leadership of the new creative director Alessandro Michele. The new fragrance promises a more vivid, energetic and fresh character, inspired by friendships between women, born of spontaneity and youthful joy.

Just like Gucci Bloom, the new edition is created by perfumer Alberto Morillas who took the original delicately spicy-floral composition of tuberose, jasmine and f Chinese honeysuckle (Rangoon creeper), the red-flowered vine that premiered in perfumes, and made it fresher by introducing green accords. The drydown is woody and musky, made to convey warmth and depth. It is said to be an invigorating and radiant, lightly green and floral fragrance of highly concentrated ingredients.

The campaign, directed by Glen Luchford, shows actress Dakota Johnson, Hari Nef and Petra Collins floating in a shimmering lake surrounded by flowers and reeds. The fragrance is available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

this is so good in my opinion. but I can understand it may not please everyone. It is somehow so...different :)

Fragrant Lily

A green and sharp scent with a strong vibe of freshly cut grass. It's dusty and slightly synthetic. Definitely not the best among green florals, in my opinion. It lacks naturalness and freshness

Lollo

Nice

Ebichuunee

I kind of enjoy this one, even though I think the opening is a bit harsh on my nose, one of my most exuberant fragrance in collection, I have the feeling that it project well and so I actually don’t reach for it that much except for some events

tyo

This was my first “adult” fragrance purchase! I was so excited and loved it ~. Very approachable, and barely-there enough that its waft isn’t distracting or unpleasant. I got compliments on it a lot, especially within the first 1hr or so of putting it on. My one gripe with the scent is that the silage was desperately intimate and truly barely-there after that first hour. If you want a fragrance that makes an entrance and then settles into something only you can smell (and blends well with that summer day funkiness lol), this one is for you! I ended up giving this to my mom during the pandemic :)

Gothicat

The opening reminds me of freshly cut grass drenched in dew on a warm summer morning. The dry down is sharply synthetic and very reminiscent of a soap that my grandmother had in her bathroom in the 80s. Definitely a warm weather scent and not blind buy safe.

alettanna

Acqua di Fiori is my go-to on sunny spring or hot summer days, I love how refreshing the green notes are in it, like walking in a dewy garden. I haven't reached for this perfume in months, but today I decided to do a little experiment and try it in nearly freezing weather.

Well, I thought I made a big mistake first... the same green notes turned annoyingly sharp. But once the top notes started to fade (after about 30 minutes) it transformed into a comforting and uplifting scent that makes me wish it was spring again. Not a total mistake after all, but I will save this lovely scent for warmer months for sure.

Oxidia

Call me crazy, this smells like pencil shavings to me. A perfect pencil shavings.

aqua76239

This fragrance is basically a greener fresher Bloom. I prefer the original as I don'tlike overly floral green scents. And somehow this loses the sweetness that original has and its also not my cup of tea

Tembacat

I've tried a couple of times to give this one a fair shake, because I got a full bottle as a blind buy on clearance. The initial fresh garden notes are beautiful: green, fresh, light and decadent at the same time. But it very quickly turns too musky on me, and the lovely green notes fade into the background. As a result it starts to smell fairly synthetic and soapy. Within an hour, it smells like a cabinet that people store all of the random lotion and potion and cream gift sets they receive at white elephant christmas parties, just an amalgam of generic musk with some floral notes. I want to love this and on the right person I bet it is beautiful and elegant, but on me it's a no.

ShmellyC

I absolutely love the green garden that blooms on your skin, when you first spray this. I can enjoy this sent for a couple of hours but when the musk slowly starts taking over, I can't help but to try and drown out the smell with a body spray. This scent has the potential to capture nature beautifully, almost perfect but then that musk tugs at my nose, like an insect flying through that beautiful garden ,that won't go away.
I eventually sold my bottle.

luminomi

My base perfume for warmer months. If I don't know what to spray - this always comes to rescue. Cooling, yet welcoming and youthful. Not too green

astridkh3

This is one of my only floral perfumes, I’m typically a sweet/fruity gal but this is such a lovely perfume. Green and almost aquatic. First tested this ours in a Sephora and it immediately reminded me of trips I’ve taken to Orlando. I think there is a note in here similar to a plant grown on Disney property, because smelling this reminds me so much of walking around outside the hotels. Even aside from the positive association with vacationing, this is a really great hot weather perfume. Performs well on my skin but isn’t overwhelming like I find a lot of other floral perfumes to be. Unique in my collection and I can’t think of any other perfume that smells like it.

Jordan 99

Here we go again, another perfume ruined by galbanum for me, first time I smelled it is in Live in Love Oscar de la renta, which I own and sort of love if not galbanum. Here is even stronger and more masculine than in LIL, otherwise it would be fantastic frag. Galbanum is from now on on my No-No list. If you like unisex fragrances it’s really good one. I would love to get whiff here and there, it’s pleasant easy going scent, it’s just not enough feminine for me.

frag_nostalgia

This flanker strays the farthest from its parent frag -- it is the blonde son in a family of mostly brunette daughters. Cassis lends a leafy, lush, vegetal quality. The florals I get are mostly tuberose and honeysuckle with noticeable hints of lily of the valley and freesia. However, the galbanum and cassis are clearly the stars here. This flanker can easily be enjoyed by those who typically do not enjoy the basic white florals and/or green frags (living proof ✋🏻). The citrus notes are just enough to make this frag slightly juicy and sparkling, not sweet or "fruity" like other popular white florals. I get just a hint of sandalwood, and the slight musky-woodiness of Iso E Super is undetectable until after at least the first hour of wear (if at all). This flanker is meant to be worn in the spring. 3rd place for me out of the entire Bloom line by Gucci. 🥉

Ismellthereforiam

I nearly sold my bottle which I purchased heavily discounted. Couldn’t miss the chance! So glad I didn’t ❤️Opened it one gloomy afternoon needing something to go with my mood…Once I sprayed it and got intrigued (usually search the maker) and realised that it was made by Alberto Morillas who is responsible for the iconic CK One. You should get the drill by now;) It is a very beautiful take on the latter if somewhat more poetic by adding flowers…Here, lily of the valley and then tamed tuberose shine through…It brings some nostalgia and memories for me. Happy I kept it 💙
A few hours later I’m getting a sweetened sandalwood dry down…must be the musk & sandalwood combo 💗

Sarcastica

This is giving me strong Rosabotanica vibes. Not identical, but very much in the same green watery spectrum. Unfortunately neither work for me as on my skin they turn into week old vase water. Oh well, you can't win 'em all...

teacup_goat

smells like a wet garden~ i can practically see a courtyard speckled by fresh spring rain. misted flowering plants. the faint earthiness in this is cloaked in musk. (reminds me of thunderstorm by demeter). the fresh notes are filligreed with drowned flowers, ready for sun. its a catharsis, fleeting relief from love’s chaos, reverbing through scent. i didn’t think i’d like this so much, it’s surprisingly clear for a floral musk- scent. im very excited to see how it does in the warmer months~

adahn

A huge vase filled with cold water and creamy smelling tuberoses. The top notes fade incredibly fast. Not that green to me.

This sold me.

A very lovely lady stranger was selling this 100ml bottle brand new (opened, unused) in box for $50 online. Came to read reviews here, saw the above.. BOOM. Sold. For $10 she said she would deliver it to me today. Take my money! I even got a hug from said Mrs when I admitted I use perfume as a distraction to get my mind out from drowning in grief. We just found out some news about my dad, so I'm preparing my perfume stockpile now. This is the perfect "happy & content" scent I needed and reading all your reviews will keep my mind occupied when required. So thank you to everyone who leaves reviews here. 🤍 Keep em coming!

Thank you Salaryman, if you ever read this.. Gucci Bloom Aqua di Fiori will absolutely be my new forest scent. I'll be going home to be with family and staying as long as I need to. Spring is coming and I'll be exploring the forest I adventured in daily all through my childhood and youth, into my teenage years. I'm 41 now, I hope those mountains welcome me as they always did. I'm looking forward to being amongst the trees and nature that were my family when things at home were rough.

Aqua di Fiori edt is stunning. I haven't tried the others, but this green floral woody musk is absolutely EXACTLY what this gal needed.

I am so grateful. 🙌🌲💕

tudorsmells

they won't get away with discontinuing this.

mben086

This is fantastic!!!
A wet photorealistic pleasant feminine green with light and airy mild florals as a supporting act. Not overwhelming and definitely modern interesting and niche smelling!
Shame that it’s discontinued. Why are the best ones all discontinued? Gucci rush 2 and now this! Its much better than the more recent (and more expensive) gucci releases.
Layers so well with the aqua allegoria line.
Could never get sick of this, am buying every bottle I find! This is what I imagine a field of daisies in the morning mist in heaven would smell like.

salaryman

Wasn’t sure if I wanted this fragrance but the more I imagine wearing it on a trip to the forest during a nice spring day while the grass and leaves are still a little wet the more I want a small bottle of it… It’s just perfect for that type of occasion.

tudorsmells

i smelled this all the way back in 2021 and fell in love with it because of the strong freshly-cut grass accord. Today i got a bottle (the batch is from 2020) and i really cant pick up on that smell at all anymore :(. Still a great, interesting perfume and it will definitely see a lot of use in the spring and summer months :) On my skin it smells like someone blended the white florals but forgot to take their stems off, which i love
edit: my mom is getting the grass note lol

Penny S

This perfume smells of green florals, with the jasmine kicking in pretty strong - it is calming and pretty non offensive in my opinion. Though I find the scent pretty boring, as I can only smell the jasmine. I also wouldn't recommend getting the EDT version of this because it only lasts 2-3 hours on my skin.

ShiraJemJem

'After rain garden' is the best way to describe this fragrance in my opinion. It still has the identity of original Gucci Bloom but this one tell another story. It's not just a whole bunch of white floral anymore. This one is aquatic, fresh and green like flowers with rain drops on it.

The performance is great on me. Even I'm not a green fragrance lover but this one is good and still growing on me.

buubuu

Not gonna lie, the scent is fresh and great. Gucci Bloom yellow one gave me a headache but this one not. Quite fresh actually. It’s like a fresh pick of jasmine. But longlasting power of this perfume is quite bad. Like gone after an hour. The pink bottle is very pretty.

Frantheone

Yes, it does remind me a lot of pleasures! It doesn't have that much depth however because it's missing the lilac note. Still cute, still pleasant and greener than pleasures. It would be even better if it had a little more peppery notes, it would bring something new to the table.
I liked it so much better on a paper. Unfortunately, when I wear anything with freesia it's all I can smell, it overpowers everything else. It must be my skin's ph. It's gonna be a pass for me.

This is what a put together plant mom with a secret love for Sci-Fi would wear.

karlinejess

Fresh white flowers fragrance, evokes the image of a garden in the morning, still with dew and all. I live in a tropical climate and it’s pretty decent in rainy/colder weather, but under the blazing hot sun it’s a little bit too much. It’s inoffensive for the office, and pretty enough for a fancier lunch. As pretty as it is, I don’t see myself reaching for this often. I’ll probably revise my statement if I ever find a good pair for this scent.

Maggietilda

This smells like a salad. With tulips in it.

rmb13

I can’t really pick out anything specific other than jasmine. It’s a pleasant, maybe watery white floral. I don’t mind it and ran through my sample as a dumb reach during early spring

Lindsconn

This fragrance is a fresh spring type fragrance. It smells like very realistic florals with green notes. It definitely has a similarity to Pleasures by Estée Lauder.

Unfortunately I find this doesn’t project much at all and the lasting power is really weak. I would suggest buying Pleasures instead or checking out the other Gucci Bloom Flankers as they’re really beautiful fragrances that perform well!

Liasdelife

Very fresh summer fragrance. Very lovely and wearable perfume. Smells very green and floral. 4/5

missmaddiemac

This smells *exactly* like playing in the sprinkler in your backyard in the summer. Exactly. To the point that if REPLICA wanted to make a perfume evocative of that, they should just take this and put it in their own bottles. Not necessarily something I’d wear but certainly not unpleasant or overbearing.

cristinap9587

To me this smells like flowers and number 2 pencils (and pencil sharpenings). Not something I'd want to smell like but definitely an interesting scent. I guess for me the woody base comes out into the top notes, it's a bit outdated but not in a bad way. To me it smells like autumn even if most votes are for spring/summer.

Kotikina

It is a moderate climate meadow after the rain, with a distinct and beautiful lily-of-the Valley. This is not about flowers, it is all kind of greens - grass, galbanum, all kind of weeds and plants. Very green, a bit bitter, but there is also some screechy note, maybe that's how musk works in this combination with sandalwood. It is also totally unisex, would be very good on men.

eau de dosa

My favorite of the Gucci Bloom line. This is what I expected Kate Spade’s Truly Gracious to smell like.

Tiffasuzuki

Absolute must for spring and summer!
The top note smells like you’re enjoying a refreshing lemon tea in a botanical garden.
The dry down reveals a light, clean lemony musk. It smells like nice crisp morning dew.
This scent is so aquatic and uplifting- no choking heavy florals 🌿

r0sebud

this smells like green plants, but not unpleasantly.

nmua

I love this so much. A light white floral with heavy wet green notes. Like leaves and grass in a jungle after the rain. Gives a very botanic garden greenhouse vibe. Very deserving of the name "flower water" however has such little longevity. This is one of those you can spray infinitely and it's still very watery, which I love (although I wish it stuck around longer). Is it being discontinued? I can't find it on any retailer.

Lauren32

Very niche smelling. This is such a wearable scent- lovely top notes with something spicy in the mix. It's definitely become my signature after smelling many perfumes over the last year- there's not anything else like it. The white floral isn't too overwhelming and the herbaceous notes are beautifully blended. Sillage is good for the office. True love for me ❤️

Bombalurina

This is lovely! It really invokes a feeling of a freshly watered garden, water & dew droplets on flower petals

Iroko

I love the top notes, it opens up a pleasant floral layer of softness. I do not recommend you spray too much as it can be it can be overwhelming. Moderate spray on the right places would be nice for an evening date. I did chose to wear this to bed after a shower. I'd like to dream of a field with flowers unending. It's a good buy.
I recommend for anyone they loves flowers.

STOICFISH

This is gorgeous. Light, fresh summer garden rain feel. More original then most designer fragrances. This is niche interesting with designer price and wearability.
Layer this with Minérale Oud for interest.

LSAUG

I just bought a bottle of the Bloom Ambrosia and love it. I like the original Bloom as well even though I wish it was a bit stronger. This Aqua flanker is not for me and I kind of knew that going in smelling it because of the top note of galbanum, I'm not a big fan of it. Aqua uses galbanum w/ a very heavy hand and this smells very masculine to me because it is so green. If you love green florals and want something that mimics crushed plants and crushed flower stems this is a good one to sample. I agree w/ the reviewer below it has a very spa vibe but I hate spas, my sister is always trying to drag me to one but I can't stand that spa smell.

Edit: Later this evening. I personally find this scent very unisex, and it could be a white floral a man might like to wear if they enjoy white florals. Heck, I think it would be a major step up from the male fragrances I smelled today. No wonder I give my husband the unisex fragrances I sample that don't work out for me. What they are making for men now a days is truly horrid. I would rather smell this on a guy than all of the male fragrances I sampled in Sephora today. Which were Invictus, Guilty Pour Homme, Spicebomb flankers, And 1 Million. I thought Dior Savauge was bad.

samirascarlett

I love this so much. Its an instant spa vibe with bits of the original dna. I like layering this with white tea and sage from bath and body works. Very all year round but i think it will be super nice in the summer.

mrshnchnkm

I really love it, this is bitter, more herbal version of Gucci Bloom. Perfect for summer!

Siv7Stars

Instant waft of botanicals, like being in a garden but this dies very swiftly into a musty musk base that is just not very nice. Absolutely doesn't warrant the 'Acqua' in the title either, there's no watery notes or dampness here. Horrid little flanker sorry.

Liliangaa

This smells like a hot summer night, deep into a lush garden, big palm leaves all around, ripe fruits about to fall from the trees.

Sun_Bleached_Florals

I couldn't stop smelling my arm after I sprayed it. Such a unique perfume it is bright and floral with dark green depths. What you see is what you get, flower water. It smelled so green and fresh, it reminded me of a beautiful bouquet and Springtime. Sadly the magic ended about an hour later. This is amazing but it doesn't last. I'm considering ordering a sample size so I can try it out again because I liked it so much. I wouldn't blind buy this one.

Noolie

〰✴A green and delicate bouquet✴〰

The name of this perfume literally means 'flower water', and I think it suits the fragrance very well. As you can tell from the notes it is a predominantly a floral fragrance, but also very fresh and green. I've noticed that a lot of people find the green note annoying, as if it smells like grass and nothing else, but I don't perceive it that way. I can't understand the single notes very well, but I can clearly smell flowers and leaves. Very youthful, elegant and discreet. Overall I find it a pleasant scent, but I have to say that I’m not particularly impressed, definitely. I find it nice, but not incredible or unforgettable. It smells good and the bottle design is amazing, but it's not enough to convince me to buy it. Also, I have to mention sillage and longevity are pretty low for the brand and the price.

Setting & feelings: You are having a picnic with your close friends in a park near a pond, having a good time. While talking you absent-mindedly pick up some flowers and blades of grass, playing and rolling them between your fingers.

Overall: 6/10

N✴〰

aeroseana

a pleasant powdery green scent. i think it smells fresh in a different kind of way— not fresh like citrusy scents usually are (which is funny because lemon is supposedly one of the top notes!), but fresh like the morning dew or freshly cut grass… it doesn’t ACTUALLY smell like grass imo, just trying to get my point across ;) i think it would be an ideal spring scent if you’re not really into super sweet florals. however, i can definitely see how it wouldn’t be for everyone as at times it can be quite mature and grandma-ish (i don’t get how other people say it smells sexy.. lol)
the florals in this aren’t like fresh flowers but rather a preserved vintage bouquet if that makes sense. if i smelled this on someone i’d think their perfume is nice but i wouldn’t purchase it for myself

harperpeshhe

A very pretty soft green fragrance. It reminds me of a cold lush garden just after the rain, pure and innocent. Inoffensive, office friendly and a safe blind buy if you enjoy light green scents that are only ever so slightly floral. Although one note doesn’t dominate, I pick up on the lily the most. I do like this flanker I only wish it lasted longer.

pansylady

I think I would really like this... if I could smell it! It's so w e a k...

thatsveryinteresting

Smells like grass - I hate it

reginasniffs

Tried this on at the store, *smells* lovely, it is HEAVY on the tuberose; fresh, and lightly musky, I can smell the honeysuckle and the other notes are combined well enough to be there but not noticed, in general, the scent is angelic and fresh and elegant and young, cheerful I'd say. Yet, the lasting power is *ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL*. For the price, I cannot stand how quick it flew away. Lasted no more than 30 minutes on my skin (Keep in mind that this might just be my skin). I didn't think it was worth its price because of its performance, otherwise I would have bought it.

Jefferson_starkid

I'm torn with this one. There are days where I like the scent of cut off grass this gives me, and others where I feel it's too harsh for my nose. I will only wear this on very specific warm spring days.

anakarinas

I absolutely adore this fragrance.
I was seeing someone whose signature scent was acqua di fiori and although things turned sour my relationship with this perfume certainly did not !!!
It blends into the skin giving this balmy green summer scent and i can only really describe it as comforting - not offensive in the slightest.
Way too tame to be an evening scent but it performs so well during the day, and I find it does cling to clothes well.

Christen1234

Very green and sweet, pleasant but a touch too linear for me. Edit: I didn’t like the way it wore over time, becomes less fresh and more floral, but like old water in a vase with a bouquet. Ugh. I ended up decluttering it.

Maili Sarka

Smells like grass...

frag-overdose

This is beautiful. The florals are so uplifting. I wish the galbanum would be a tad stronger for a more greener facet but hey still I enjoy wearing this especially on rainy days.

A beautiful fragrance indeed.

diluc

my favourite of the gucci bloom series - she's different! super fresh, almost clean, and definitely very green. wishing there was an edp for this one because edt's get absorbed by my skin, and i'd buy it in a heartbeat.

lovetribe

I tried it again today ... maybe the tester was not at the top ... but compared to the other times after the wonderful herbaceous opening similar to a splendid garden ... later it turned into something acidulous-fruity that I can not defining, but definitely not as pleasant and refreshing as I had tried the other times ...
I repeat ... maybe the tester had gone bad ... and besides, there is little or no tuberose. and none of the other flowers listed that I know are on my nose.
I have to retest it in another perfumery.

VictoriaSmells

It's been a while since I smelled this so it's not quite fresh in my memory.
I love green freshies and I thought this would be the perfect addition to my collection. I got the travel size roller ball before pulling the trigger on a full bottle, and found it really pleasant.

But this was not nearly as 'natural' as I was looking for, if that makes sense. It smells like a perfectly manicured garden, rather than a natural meadow.
If you're looking for a perfectly manicured garden without being too sweet, this is perfect.
But I found myself wishing for a little more zing of morning dew / agarwood / aldehyde or even cedar / vetiver, to give it some more damp soil or wild burdock vibe. (think Miu Miu L'eau Bleue)

I enjoyed smelling it on my wrist, but it didn't last terribly long and wasn't anything 'special' in comparison to my other green freshies. So I wound up giving it to a friend.

It's really gentle and unobtrusive. Neutral enough to not offend anyone. I feel like you could wear this pretty much anywhere; Lunch date, office, church, at home on a rainy day... even the gym, if that's your thing!

If I had more disposable income, I'd consider buying another bottle just to have, because it IS nice, just not nice 'enough' to justify the purchase if it doesn't "wow" me.

lmwimsatt

This is by far the best bloom! All the others smell identical. I dont even find bloom interesting in the first place, but I love this one

thinkblot

A few days ago I walked into Sephora and asked to test the original Bloom. I'd seen it everywhere and wanted to finally smell it for myself. It was nice enough, but very familiar and too linear for my taste. For whatever reason, the saleslady handed me a tester strip of Acqua di Fiori, too, and even with my mask on, I knew I was going to have to get it. I ordered a smaller bottle off eBay once I got home, and now that I've had the opportunity to smell it on myself, I wish I got the larger size! The best way to describe this scent would be "lush."

I've been looking for a green, floral fragrance that still manages to be fresh and bright, and Acqua di Fiori is all of that. It's not exactly aquatic, but there's a certain juicy tartness that permeates all of the greenery. While I do enjoy green fragrances that have notes of fresh-cut grass, this is not one of them. This smells like white flowers, stems and all, doused in dew and citrus. A very modern, lush green.

mapache

The opening....I get a citrus/galbanum vibe....then in the middle phase and dry down....all lily of the valley/freesia....
Not what I was expecting, I guess.
Too much LOV and freesia .
A pleasant scent, but.....I prefer the original.

STOICFISH

It is green and fresh and drys down aquatic on me. TF Mandarino di Amalfi Acqua is similar but the TF is spicier and is more masculine, using traditional terms. Bloom finishes with the green white flower, it pretty. To my nose, they ar similar with the above differences.

Mrs.Kingsley99

I was on the hunt for a green fragrance that reminded me of fresh cut grass and rain. When I came across the Bloom range in Ulta and first smelled Aqua di Fiori I knew I had to have it, it was exactly what I'd been looking for.
This fragrance opens with a bright, super green punch - a lush field of grasses, clovers, and wild flowers after a fresh rain.
It begins to settle into a slightly sweet, fresh white floral dream, maintaining a zingy freshness - like a green Aqua di Gioia.
I can really smell the Lily of the Valley on my skin, beautiful!
It retracts into a skin scent on the dry down that smells like fresh linens on the lawn, relaxing under a shaded tree on a cool spring afternoon.
It only lasts a few hours on my skin, but I love it so much I don't mind respraying. Plus, I prefer this one for daytime and like to switch to another fragrance for nighttime, so it works out. It's very feminine but could be worn by anyone! It could work nicely in an office as it's not overpowering, yet it's also a great spring/summer date fragrance and can even be worn on a run to the grocery store.
I can't stop wearing this!

guimaraesalves

This is also my first Gucci and a blind buy which I strongly suggest you don’t do. It’s beautiful but on me it’s nothing but green green green, galbanum and a little sandalwood. I respect who likes these accords but it’s really not my taste, I thought I would get more florals, the jasmine and tuberose to be exact. Longevity and sillage are not good. After a few minutes you can feel it only close to the skin.

Scandipersian

This is comes out all galbanum on my skin! So different than Gocce di fiori from same line that truly adore for its all fresh blossoms and blooms with natural sweetness. None of the flowers show up for me in this one, maybe the slightest of honeysuckle if the semi bitter galbanum and cassis ever leave me!
This is good too though, reminiscent of the nicest chypres like Chanel n19 and Ralph Lauren Safari. It is like walking into a green meadow with knee high wild grass in morning fog. Just don’t expect an overly feminine fragrance as any of the other blooms.
I like the bottle and the greenery on it that sets it apart from all the pink, yellow and bordeaux of the other bloom bottles, consistent with the juice.

Ajaycheshire

I've missed Chypres over the last 20 years or so,but now they're slowly creeping back! Yay!

I'm bored with sugary sweet scents all the time. This is fresh, green, clean and hypnotic .

I love that first opening,I feel like I'm in a cool forest of fresh green ferns. It's extremely addictive for me. I love it when I get a waft.

Bloom is beautiful, this is another level. I've have Eau Coriandre but this is a modern day version.

hnica

Very different from Bloom, honestly the connection between the two is simply that both are floral, although this one is leaning heavily on the green side. It's wearable, but I'm not a fan of Lily of the valley and IsoE in general, so it's a pass for me. It could work for people who want something green, but milder green than Vent Vert, Chanel No. 19, etc. Sillage is minimal after the first 10-15 minute blast. Interestingly, at the beginning it made me think of Mugler's Womanity (I have no idea why, as they don't share any common notes) - somehow like a watered down Womanity, with floral notes and a good amount of conformity.

anidamasceno

This is my first Gucci and I blind bought it for my birthday.
It opens with a fresh, natural, white bouquet. Very comfortable, the kind of scent you feel when you crush fresh, green leaves. Then, it starts to develop to a woody skin scent, with a hint of something citrusy, with the white bouquet showing up here and there.

Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori is a fragrance that makes me happy, very uplifting. This is not for that days you want to feel sexy (in a conventional way) but the special moments you want to sit and read a book with a mug of tea, looking at your blooming garden, without make up and having your hair on a messy bun.

The ad with the actresses bathing in that lovely lake surrounded with flowers is pretty accurate to my experience, but in no way GBAF is an aquatic fragrance. I'm testing on a very hot summer season here in South America (sorry my english btw).

Bad thing is, it doesn't last that long and sillage is more intimate (which can be a good thing for some, myself included).

KatarinaKinamoto

This was a blind buy and I do not recommend anyone to blind buy it. I expected green fresh grass with white florals or fresh summer garden. Instead I got bitter smell of a freshly cut flower. Sharp and bitter. Also very weak longevity.
Definitely test before you buy, not for everyone.

TackyAki

This is a really good modern chypre. I love it. It’s heavy, thick, weird, but not stuffy like some can feel... when I say heavy, maybe I should say deep/rich? Not sure. it’s a polarising scent, but if you love chypres that’s kind of part of the charm. We don’t want safe sweet perfumes! Something about your look should turn heads, it’s awesome when it’s the perfume.
This is very similar to Stella McCartney L.I.L.Y. (another modern chypre but now almost a decade old), and a bit of a distant nod to Chanel 19° (My #1!). They’re going for the same vibe as the classic green bombs (even Mitsouko a bit), and I think they did a great job with this one. This is actually my first Gucci perfume ever!

lemmenkukka

GREEN! Honeysuckle, freesia and tuberose, my favourite flowers! I love this scent, it's vivacious, youthful, fresh and slightly warm. Office safe everyday scent. Some resemblence noted with EL Pleasures.

sibaaah

awful
it smells like green herbs

Cozychamomile

Very green smelling, but less "fresh green" and more heavy green. It smells like tearing apart a thick, waxy, healthy, leaf in the middle of summer. Or the smell of torn stems while clearing a brush. Strangely agricultural. Not unpleasant, but not my personal preference.

The white florals here aren't mainstage like they are in Nettari di Fiori, instead they play a supporting role to the dominant green notes.

Dave12

I Really Love this fragrance a lot I think I love it even more than the original Gucci Bloom it’s so gorgeous I personally am a huge fan of white floral fragrances and Jasmine fragrances I love the green feel to it it’s perfect for spring or summer an absolutely gorgeous fragrance.

Rssr

It's the first ever fragrance that I actually love! This one is perfect for me and I can wear it all year long. Best suitable is for summer. The opening notes are delightful, very fresh, mint leaves accord for some reason is what I sense. Later it gets a bit sweet on my skin, as every perfume I tried so far, but it doesn't bother me, wanting more and more to smell it all day long. Too bad it last at best 3h on my skin. On hair has a slightly longer longevity.
Suitable for people that don't like sweet perfumes. I'm still exploring this perfume world, the starting point was 2 years ago after I realized that I cannot wear sweet perfumes during work hours, as it catches my attention too many times in not a good way.

Bgm_1923

Too stuffy, heavy,сold and white flowers
Сannot be used from the smell starts to spin the head ...

donskikazaci

@pr-few-m It's galbanum, not aldehyde

Tat_RusTica

Fresh, green, mysterious. A very pleasant perfume! My love from the first breath. And how beautifully it unfolds! Great aroma, beautiful bottle and fine spray. Love very much!

pr-few-m

@gardeniapetunia
that note you couldn't like in this scent is called 'aldehyde'. i guess different people interpret the smell of that note differently and it's challenging to many. i see only 'perfume_infatuated' had mentioned that note so far.

gardeniapetunia

I love the opening but there is a note, and I don't know what it is other than to say Green, that is very reminiscent of Chanel #19, a fragrance I had and swapped after much thought. This note shows up days later on clothing, definitely not right away but the same aroma I got from the #19. I don't like it so this Bloom flanker may get swapped to.
I don't care if this gets no balloons, but someone might appreciate knowing this if #19 isn't their cup of tea.

TerrCasey

This scent makes me think of conifer woods. It's green and strange.

I was on the fence about buying it. I enjoyed it but I couldn't decide if its something I want to smell like. It's definitely not for people who just want to smell pretty - this is a strange, unusual scent that will definitely draw attention.

I ended up getting it and I do use it sometimes, but it's been in my shelf for two years and I'm still not done with 50ml bottle. I think it's the sort of scent you need to really like to actually reach for. It's not a "perfect (insert season) scent" or something that just fits a certain occasion. It will always stand out.

In terms of longevity and sillage, it's decent. That's probably because it's such a weird scent that it's hard to not pick it up, even after a long time.

frusia

This is mostly white floral to me and I was hoping for something a bit more green, grassy, leafy. Acqua di Fiori may be a green scent for those who are not into green scents normally. I can't really smell the green notes in it for some reason, all seems to be dominated by flowers. Also it seems to be quite faint on me.

Woodamber

This scent is amazing. I bought after I tried it one year ago. It's light yet it so lush and floral. I did not know that I had a soft spot for galbanum and honeysuckle. It starts out crisp and then it is drying down into this beautiful summer field of flowers. It's also quite aquatic which makes me think of walking through a garden during summer rain. It kind of captures the moment when rain amplifies every scent that is lingering in the atmosphere. It's very sensual yet very natural. I can not wait to wear it for warm summer days.

But....the longevity is bad. Have not tried to overspray or spray it on clothes yet so it might be a way to keep the scent. Maybe a body lotion might keep it at place as well. Because I do want to have this scent on me for way longer than 3 hours.
But honestly it is quite terrible that such a beautiful scent has weak longevity. Especially when I think of its price tag!

AlexandraTroush

Very fresh, green and uplifting. It makes me feel as if I just spent some time in nature and had a chance to just take the time and recharge.

While I enjoy the sample that I got, I don't think I would buy a full size, simply because I feel like Green Tea by EA would give me the same feeling at a fraction of the price. Also, the dry-down really remind me of CK's Reveal's dry-down.

apellegrino12

This frag is SOOOO lovely in all its spicy greenness. It's incredibly sharp and herbal, smells like the experience of walking in a garden and crushing stems and leaves underfoot.

The big disappointment here is the longevity. It has completely disappeared off my skin within an hour of application, even when I spray it on my clothes and hair.

How I wish this came in a longer-lasting EDP!!

StillJuliaGayle

How fitting. While I was applying this I was listening to the latest by Perfume Genius on KCRW. Indeed, whoever crafted this is a genius!
I just love how it is a warm floral which makes it more accessible throughout Spring and Summer. Kudos in adding the top notes of Cassis and Galbanum which lend an element of depth and sophistication that you don't normally find in a white floral. It is like standing in the middle of a lush garden in full bloom after the rain. You can appreciate the floral notes but there is the smell of earth and sun as well.
The sillage is great so you can spritz in the beginning of the day and take your sun-drenched garden with you all day long.

latafan

Okay, I am going to say this and then quickly duck out of harm's way, but... the opening of this smells like a German ecologically friendly dish soap...
please don't hurt me...

Let me save myself a bit though and say that it's not the fragrance's fault at all. It just so happens that this mix of notes seems to be popular in some German 'close to nature' household brands as well. Just that combo of Lemon, Lily of the Valley and Honeysuckle.
And it's just the first few minutes. The dry down I like a lot better. I never smelled galbanum leaf on it's own, but by method of exclusion, knowing that what I'm smelling is neither of the other notes, I have to say, well... seems I like galbanum leaf? And it goes amazing with the dried down citrus notes.

It's actually lovely. Clean, fresh and a lot of... errr... natural springtime greenery? It does remind me a lot of taking a springtime walk in Europe. Everything is budding, first tiny yellow and white blossoms on some of the trees, young grass reclaiming the thawed ground, a few first spring flowers here and there. Clean mild air, that carries the fragrance of new life and the promise that winter is finally gone.

I don't dare really judge the longevity. In hot humidity it lasts maybe an hour. I mean all of it is so gentle and fragile, you cannot really blame it for not standing a chance in hot and sweaty conditions. However, if I was currently living in Europe I would totally consider this for a no-brainer everyday springtime pick and it might last a lot better under those moderate climate conditions. Sillage is also very soft on me. It's probably a fragrance that you'll mostly be wearing for your own pleasure. In that sense it's very office/school safe.

Anyway, solid like from me.

Edit: I ended up getting a full bottle. The heat is just picking up in Mumbai and this is just such an incredible uplifting refreshing relief from the muggy hot air all around. I really don't mind spraying more often to up the longevity.

bagaceirababy

I got this one because I was looking for a green type of scent for summer. And because of the bottle, the bottle its beautil!
But thats what it is: green, point blank. No flowers on me just all the green notes. It doesn’t last either, maybe 3hrs max and poor sillage. I didn’t regret my purchase but wouldn’t repurchase either, specially for the price.

Jocovt11

This is lovely! I’ve never smelled the original, now I really want to, but this is a unique, woody, musky floral, with just the right amount of freshness or brightness from the citrus.

katsong

I find this much nicer than the original "Bloom"! The original Bloom is a really straightforward, minimalistic, white floral smell. This flanker has many more green notes that are both lush and dry at the same time, I find it very well balanced with the citrus notes dancing on top. The white florals take a backseat. It smells very aromatic, with the other notes that round out the smell so that it's not sharp. Still, with all that is going on, it's not messy, but actually quite well blended to create a distinct fragrance. The dry down at first reminds me of Comme des Garcon's Lily, then it develops into a thinner "Gucci" musk that I reminds me of Gucci Envy. I was really surprised by this--there are so many Gucci fragrances that feel rushed or unfinished to me! 9/10

UPDATE: THE DRY DOWN SMELLS LIKE GUCCI ENVY!!

Tigerlillian

Flowers straight from the florist's refrigerator, or a lush garden on a dewy morning. This is a refreshing EDT that's green through and through, but tempered in a way that I feel I could wear all year long. It's very reminiscent of flower stems and water in a vase that has infused for a day. Dewy cassis buds and delicate honeysuckle bring a joyfulness to the vibrant green galbanum top notes. Lily-of-the-valley gives this a crisp floral feel.

I feel that this is a versatile scent, uplifting when worn on its own, or giving dimension and elevating a heavy floral perfume, or a liveliness to a woody fragrance when layered.

bel.gravia

This smells like a cup of tea, innocent, green, fresh, aquatic, floral...

mariceltroitino

I like the Nettare di FIori flanker. I wouldn't wear it but I like it. This one, however, I can't stand. It's too green and not in a good way. It also smells dated and I just don't know what I would ever wear this to. Maybe just a casual spring day. Good sillage.

gardeniapetunia

I love this and have the Nettare di Fiori also but not the original. This does not seem like a flanker to me but a different perfume in its own right and I get no tuberose.
Many green perfumes are overwhelming to me and too.....something, like Chanel 19 is green but so strong.
This is not although I do wish it lasted longer. However, it's cheap enough (without being a cheapie) to spray all day especially if you get a tester.
It's lovely.

raiza1990

To me, it’s a green floral. More green than floral. I was expecting a white floral bomb like the others and i am a bit disappointed. It’s not bad, but it is shy and forgettable. Longevity is poor and it doesn’t project.
Not my cup of tea.

tyekristopher

I'm not really a fan of this one, it is too much like grass. It has that dirt earth smell going for it. Not for me, but if you like those type of scents I say go for it. I find the original to be more of my style. I grew up in missouri and when I smelt this that is what is smelt like when it was spring. I like the other two blooms and this one I can do without. I see where they were going with this one tho. It smells earthy and very vintage

Miasha

Deep green; walking in the woods, inhaling the scent of the earth and soil and the half composted leaves from last autumn. Springtime coming, leaving the winter behind.
I love this. Many perfumes I have, love or like, are for me versatile to have most seasons, all hours of the day or night. But this one, at least for me, is really really a springtime fragrance. By springtime then, I mean from the very time you can see that the days slowly become a little longer, it can still be pretty cold outside. And then I love to wear it until the summer comes, and even on cooler nights in summer.
(I love the original Bloom as well, but it’s different.
Nettare di Fiori I don’t like at all: too strong, too mainstream - first time I had ever thrown a sample in the garbage bucket...🙂 but that is me, maybe not you. The newest - red bottle, Ambrosia I think?? is lovely too, but too close to the original for it to make me think I need that one too. Softer.)
Romantic like Jane Austen books and films... ☘️🌸🌷🌱🐾

Rosemary14

The original Gucci Bloom with WAY more green notes. You must like Galbanum to enjoy this version. It’s got the original Gucci Bloom DNA with crushed up stems and leaves and it’s quite woody with a pinch of powdery dry sweetness.

raindropwalka

Love this scent. Reminds me of Commodity Rain, which sadly is now discontinued. Smells just like a rainy day in spring by a flower garden and is really nostalgic to me. Been trying to find a floral and aquatic fragrance just like Rain as I mentioned and even being a guy it is a really great scent to wear at home after a shower or a run to the store. Only if it was more to the aquatic side it would be the perfect fragrance for me, but I highly recommend it and is way better than the other flankers!

A.Lavieenrose

If you find the original or the other flankers too much, give this a try...You might enjoy it. It is fresh, green, and quite refreshing and lacks the heavy naturalistic sweet tuberose /honeysuckle mixture in the original and Nettare Di Fiori. However, if you love Bloom/the other flankers, don't blind buy this. Acqua Di Fiori is very light and pales in comparison to the other lush, white floral powerhouses in the range. It is sharper and a little bitter in the opening and dries down to a fresh green dewy rose and slightly woody scent. Performance is as expected of an EDT.

Maria248

This one doesn't lead with tuberose like the other ones do which is a very velvet rich smelling flower but most people don't like the waxy sharpness it has I think the original bloom is beautiful because of the tuberose being so dominant but bloom fiori leads with galbauam leaf which has a wett meadow & dewy green forest scent but minus the heavy woods. Men this could definitely go unisex because of the freshness it has and I think this one is the best one out of all of them. I have so many perfumes from 90's favs (CK escape) to current niche gourmands (BR540) to my current signature (Armani rose de arabie) and everything in between but NONE of them smell as FRESH as this I find myself reaching for it more than any other perfumes I have..hands down it's in my top 5 must have a back up list and yes I'll still be reaching for it in the winter becauseto me smelling fresh shouldn't just be a spring time thing smh. I would suggest buying a sample vial on ebay or smell it at a department store but if you like fresh forest smelling fragrances you should like this one.

Mirabele

i've been wanting to have this since it first came out. i don't like other in the Bloom serie, because they are tuberose scents and i do not like tuberose. this one was love from the first sniff. i do not smell tuberose here, even if i do see it in the notes, and i am always very sensitive to tuberose - to a point than no scent with tuberose works for me. i have no idea how they managed to hide tuberose in this one, i quess here it just gives that full-bodied feeling, otherwise this green scent would be too flat. anyway, this is a modern green scent. simple and linear, strong and long lasting to me. it smells wet forest (no pine trees, just decicuous-tree forest,in a shadow, not in a sunlight; the smell of crushed leaves, green wildflowers and freshly cut grass. it corresponds just so well with nature at the place i live at. we do not have meny flowers, nor smells, just many greens, grass, wildflowers and forests, lots of forests. it is pretty much how it really smells here on a late summer evening, or early autumn day. it is a smell of a cut grass in a shadow, not a smell of a grass in a sun. it is a smell of crushed wildflowers, not those with many blossoms, but those with a few and small ones, and it is smell of more of a stilk than of an actual blossoms. why would i want to wear this you may wonder - it is very green and full of life, and not like any other perfume, and not any sensual or nothing to appear attractive. it is just like a smell of nature. very green. very pretty. just for myself. just wat i wanted.

elledeelee

This is the Bloom flanker that most differs from the original. There are vague hints of Gucci Envy in the very opening. To begin with I get the sense of walking through lush, wet pine forests, past ponds covered in blooming water lilies, then the scenery dries out and the scent turns more aromatic. Afterwards, the dry down becomes more like the original Bloom, but sadly disappears too quickly. It really takes you on a journey and it's crazy to me how different this one becomes from beginning to end!
Overall, I appreciate this as a fragrance, but it's too aquatic and green for me to actually wear.

Iluvsmellies

I tried the Blooms and enjoyed (and wanted) them all, lol. Acqua isn't a tuberosey scent like the others, they definitely feature that note quite prominently. The note is listed in with the white flowers but Acqua is green and astringent, it is crushed leaf and wild flowers. I chose this one to buy a biggie from the batch as a new modern signature scent, as it fits me now. It has the green of the 90s classic Gucci Envy, so if you enjoy that, this is going to be the Bloom for you. Do try first though, it is the least mainstream crowd-pleaser of the bunch. Guys, this has the green herbal feel on a par with Fleur du Male - if you love that, try this. It is easily the most 'unisex' if you heed the conventions of gender assignment to smell. Enjoy!

GiovannaD

I spritzed this on a paper strip at the mall yesterday, and couldn’t stop sniffing it. I’m surprised at the negative reviews. To me, this was just delightful! I don’t care much for the other Gucci Blooms, but this!
A lovely balance of oh-so-fresh green, -in a natural, dewey-grass sort of way, with sweet flowers, but not in a cloying, headachey way many floral perfumes smell. I think of a happy, smiling, barefoot young woman in a white linen boho dress twirling around in a sprinkle of rain in a garden of mostly foliage with a few flowers here and there.

arefuthescroob

Lovely floral scent, but nothing too outstanding.

Coquita

I liked this green, cassis-based flanker a lot more than the other "Bloom" flankers. It's a great summer scent, but it was pretty much a skin scent and lasted only two hours. I have no problem with the light sillage, but two hours? COME ON! No way I'm paying 80 euros for that.

7/10

stephdray

The green/lemon notes are very prominent and strong so if you like "aqua" type scents this one will be very refreshing. If you like the original Gucci bloom, this isn't likely to appeal because it completely transforms/ruins the original vibe.

RuthRose

I like this perfume, it is fresh and grassy and a little bit zingy (just quietly zingy). It reminded me straight away of Estee Lauder's Pleasures, but more green and less floral. I was disappointed that it didn't last long on my skin, only 3 hours or so. I'm not sure if I'd buy it, I'll try it again to see.

Turkmenbashi

This fragrance is great. It reminds me a lot of Clinique Happy, but with something a little different that I can't quite put my finger on. I got this one in a subscription installment and would definitely consider purchasing a full sized one in the future. It's fresh, clean and mood uplifting. Gucci nailed it again!

Taishi92

I really like this. First impression, this is different than anything else I own and tend to look for in a fragrance. On me, this starts strong, like a forest after the sun goes down and the air starts to cool around the wild blooms and the lake. I don't get how other people say that it smells synthethic, this smells so authentic to me, it really transports me to a forest where Snow White communicates with animals and battles the evil witch. The dry down its the best part, the greenery starts to mellow and surfaces a creamy floral aspect that gives it sweetness. This lasts too.
Good work Gucci.

diluted paintbox

I've only tested this one on paper by now, but I've fallen in love.
It is definitely similar to Pleasures, but I think this one is more authentic. It smells exactly like green, field plants with a bit of soil, like a meadow. I guess this is not as pleasant scent for some people, as it is for me. I love it because it is so authentic and it takes me back to childhood memories when we used to work in the field and roll around on the meadows (which I still do, whenever I can) and these are beautiful memories.
For me, this scent is real, it is not artificial, plastic, urban, unique or innovative. It is the smell of nature as I know it, it smells like life in the woods, which I long for right now, during the winter, living in the city and being indoors most of the time.
Maybe i don't come across this kind of perfumes a lot, it is definitely not as warm or strange as are the scents I like in this moment of my life, but if it's gonna behave on my skin as I hope it will, it is going to be mine, no doubts.

Angybanier

this perfume is very similar to pleasure by stee lauder but the background in different (90% similar )! i don't know why they given this the same name like gucci bloom, it's not the same perfume at all.
very plesant, a litle bit green, perfect for spring/summer

Trinhthanhvans

First it smells like you just walked through a bunch of green leaves, trees and flowers, okay like you just got out of a forest after the rain. Literally. Then after that you'll see the wet woods and the ground more clearly.

It's interesting, different. I'm confused by it. It's beautiful but at the same time I just smell like I literally got out of a forest/ garden after the rain and the different types of leaves are all over me. Green, sensual but a bit dirty.

The thing I like most about this is that it smell natural. On the paper it smells green but on my skin it smells even greener ha ha. My friend told me I smelled like some type of herbal medicines lol.

The problem is none of my clothes seem to fit the smell. I own mostly either super bubbly clothes like pink hoodies n white denim shorts or really work-wear types. You gotta be wearing something like linen or anything a bit raw & natural for this scent to work well. Like you can't wear sloppy clothes and wear Decadence by Marc jacobs at the same time if that makes sense.

This perfume is really unique so I suggest you should go try it instead of blind-buying.

gtabasso

Mainly freesia and musk with some galbanum and a hint of cassis. Almost comes off like a floral with some fig leaf. A nondescript floral. Nothing extraordinary. Very mainstream.

Shendrit-gashi

I think this perfume is an actual gem
It has a different smell then the original but it is still in the same family
When i spray this it directly smells like a bouqet of flowers
It does not smell artificial so that is good
It starts of as very fresh then later it dries down in a fresh sweet floral perfume
On my skin it lasts about 6 hours
The silage is moderate
Rating 9/10

astrid_astaria

Usually I love Gucci perfumes. Totally disappointed.
This was an assault on my nose. It was like when we used to clear land in the deep south when I was younger. Strong, blooming, green, irritating, hot vegetation and stinking wild flowers burning your nose and eyes. Pollen and allergies. Buzzing insects, hot sun beating down on you. Utterly preposterous. The bottle is nice.

onimoka

Earthy-flowery-fresh and soft, close to skin, aromatic and yes, long lasting.

RoseSoul

I much prefer the original Gucci Bloom for it's honeysuckle & tuberose duo. The honeysuckle is the dominant note in the original, so I would go instead for Jo Malone Honeysuckle & Davana.

But here, in Acqua di Fiori, even the jasmine is silenced and all I could sense is a slightly sweetened galbanum, complemented by the freshness of cassis.

So, for a non sweet and fresh scent from the recent Gucci's offerings I would much prefer Gucci Absolute Pour Femme.

shusha

This is a definite pleaser. Bitter jasmine and not much else, sweet and sophisticated and not a hint of the syrup candy-like sweetness. I find it very sensual in a natural kind of way. Jasmine does dominate in this perfume, but it's a very authentic scent. Sillage is moderate, and lasts up to 6-7h.

giuseppe98gp83

I received a sample of this "supposed" perfume. But what smell of that? They look like withered flowers in a vase full of putrid water. It does not seem to have flowers on but the liquid inside the stem. I am used to smeel other florals where flowers are flowers and not the sap inside them. I do not like it.
P.S. EDP, are we sure?

perfume_infatuated

I smell this as an aromatic green/herbal perfume, with white flowers, faint wood, and very faint sweet vanilla notes, on a thick musky-ozonic-aquatic background. Probably this perfume can resemble the smell of a garden after rain.

That musky-aldehydic background--which I'm not fond of, reminds me with that background found in (Burberry Brit Rhythm), but overall, this Gucci is the easier one between the two to my nose.

I find the original bloom to be the best among this line, until the date of this flanker release.

cullen62001

I thought that nothing could be worse than the original Bloom... but I was so wrong. I really don't understand the obsession with floral dominated fragrances. Sure, florals can be nice and even extremely sexy or elegant, but they cannot be the only notes in a fragrance. Acqua di Fiori smells like flower and grass juice. The worst thing abut this perfume is that the grass note is way too literal and it’s even stronger than the florals. It literally smells as if someone tried to juice grass and added a touch of floral. There's nothing attractive about this fragrance at all.

Happyme2009

I must be anosmic to this or it is very weak. I purchased it by accident ,at Shoppers Beauty Boutique and I’m not happy. It was $138 plus tax, that is well over $150 .... I thought I smelled this , becuase of what people say .... I smelled a Bloom that was like fresh cut green grass and I loved it.... but it wasn’t this . This seems like a soft aquatic with a dominant galbanum that is almost dusty on my skin. I don’t smell any white florals like Tuberose or honeysuckle.... if anything some water lilies or osmanthus. There is no sweetness in this, it’s a cold perfume.
To me this is like a sad , melancholic pastel... it isn’t like spring, full of new life and vivacious greens. ...beautiful but lethargic, a flowerwall with no life energy. It’s a beauty that is too delicate, too fragile , too mellow.
Do I like it ? Yes. do I recommend it? Nope, not for the money it costs. If it was cheaper, yes. Oh, and the silage is minimal and the lasting power quite poor too.... by my skin eats fresh scents . Bummer. I liked it .
Edit: despite the very poor silage and lasting power I love it, it’s natural and reflreshing smelling. Gorgeous but NoT worth the money.

Seemi

I haven’t tested Gucci Bloom I just wasn’t that bothered to. It was a impulse purchase to buy AdF blind but I’m glad I did :) it’s a luscious wet green fresh mossy garden kind of fragrance. It’s definitely different to my usual style of fragrance choice. The longevity is moderate but that’s to be expected as it’s only an edt. I’ve started pairing it with my sadly discontinued Jo Malone Honeysuckle and Jasmine cologne it smells beautiful really unique. If you want to step out of your comfort zone then give this flanker a try it’s definitely different.

Not a bad one, however save your money and buy Truth by Calvin Klein.

comfortablynumb83

I liked Gucci bloom, but I found it similar to something else I owned. This flanker though, I love it. I can't explain exactly what it is, but from the first wear I loved it. It is a green scent, also normally not a category I'm really into, but it just works for me. The tuberose is still here but dialed down in the background making way for the green notes to shine. I will say that as much as I love this one, I won't repurchase. The performance is terrible. I have to spray myself like 20 times to get a good whiff of it and within an hour it's gone. Such a shame because I really do love this one. :(

Sreza7

Reminds me of Clinique Happy Heart. Which reminds me of my mother.

PLUMPIE

Beautiful scent but too aquatic for my chemistry which goes a bit metallic smelling on me the first and third Blooms are the ined for me.

Deppaholic

I blind bought this, after loving the Gucci Bloom so much. I thought it would be close, in a green way (for me) close to Chanel No 19 or Crystalline which I love. This unfortunately is not working. It's seems so synethic and allergic green, ouch. I can't even describe, except to say....what brings us together, then tears us apart. This is a big wreck on a very cold city night with Beetlejuice either there to entertain you or get you to say his name. Might try again, but it seems so fake and headache, oh can I say migraine. I guess I should not try to venture too far from what I already have. Try it, but I would not blind buy it. I usually am true to my favorites, and glad I have backups of them. Good luck....

pancakefarm

This perfume definitely isn't for everyone, what with its strong green notes, but I like it. Good for special occasions.

Hilarylgray

This perfume is very green in the top notes! It smells like stepping into a flower shop refrigerated section, green, cool and sparkling. It tries down to a more woody floral scent on me. It's lovely!

nurul.ain

I love its initial spray. It's fresh, green and cool. Then I let it sits on my skin and it dries to be kinda creamy, earthy and warm. Although it has the same floral DNA like its darling sister,Bloom but somehow I personally like Acqua di Fiori more than Bloom. Honestly, when I smell AdF, it really reminds me of Annick Goutal's Gardenia Passion. Both shares the same floral beauties of Jasmine and Tuberose. And that's the only perfume that came to mind.

Michelle12345678

This doesn't smell anything like Gucci Bloom. If I didn't know it was supposed to be a flanker of Gucci Bloom, I wouldn't be able to tell.

They took out the tuberose. I know they claim tuberose is still in here, but I can't find it.

Instead this smells like crushed green stems. Fresh, green. Slightly sweet. Aquatic.

After about an hour, this turns into a Versace Bright Crystal type of smell. If you have put your nose on that, you can expect hours two, three and maybe part of four to smell like that. But underneath that 'Bright Crystal' vibe, there is lurking the green freshness of the opening that you can activate by breathing down on it, or misting yourself.

During hour 4 or five, the scent becomes a faint, faint green trace on your skin. I only get about five hours out of this. Perhaps six on a lucky day.

I like this a lot better than Gucci Bloom, because I hate tuberose and this is much more appealing to me. But that's just a personal preference. This is also weaker and lasts shorter than Gucci Bloom.

This is a nice, slightly sweet aquatic and green perfume. Not what I would describe as a 'floral.' More predominantly green than predominantly floral.

Steleale

On my skin both the middle notes and the dry down have the Miss Dior Cherie L'eau vibe and I enjoy it so much: is fresh, green suitable for the warm summery weather, but with a woody touch. I am happy because I loved the discontinued Miss Dior l'eau given to me as present by my dad during an holiday 10 yrs ago.

UPDATE: the bottle is really gorgeous.

tyekristopher

Literally smells like grass and dirt, if you like earthy scents check this out

sarah.brooks

I just saw a newer version of this parfum it had brownish flowers on the label..it's really nice more womanly..liked it very much on my to buy list.. smells really nice that makes three version
Gucci bloom nettare di fiori that the name..
It's a new intense version ..yes

400blows

First spray a total thrill. Freshly cut grass, bottom of the garden broken stems, pine needles pinier, fresher than any other ever. unfortunately dries down to a generic slightly fruity sweetness. All sweetness should have been banned!

missk

The original Gucci Bloom was a bit of a disappointment for me. I was on the hunt for the perfect wedding day scent, and although very pretty, Gucci Bloom was just a reinterpretation of a tuberose scent that had already been done to death.

Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori, on the other hand, is surprisingly more unique than its predecessor. I'm not madly in love with this flanker, but I do enjoy it. I find it to be a very refreshing blend of jasmine, honeysuckle, cassis and white musk.

The tuberose note barely features in this fragrance's composition. Jasmine tends to lead as the reigning white floral in Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori, followed by sweet honeysuckle and the sharp greenness of cassis.

It's hard to place this flanker into any specific category. In my attempt to describe Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori, I would call it a watery and crisp green floral. It doesn't smell anything like the original Gucci Bloom.

This flanker would be great for Spring and Summer, especially for those that live in a warm, tropical climate. The only downside to this fragrance is its lacklustre longevity and projection. You might want to reconsider purchasing this fragrance in a smaller bottle so it's easier to have on the go for constant re-application.

FuchsiaMamma

This Gucci reminds me of another scent by Alberto Morillas, Bvlgari Omnia Crystaline EDT. It smells... zen. If I practiced yoga in a zen garden, that's what I would smell like. Clean, green, floral, a bit woody, sort of salty. I already own Omnia Cystaline, so I don't need one so similar, but it's a fragrance I'd wear to bed after a shower on a hot summer night!

nitschevo

I'm surprised by the reviews and statements on longevity & sillage in particular. A friend of mine has this and wore it on Saturday for a night on the town. And boy this is a lovely beast! First of all it filled her apartment and I could still detect it at 4 in the morning in the cab.

It has little do to with the original and I think that Gucci would've done this scent a favor if they'd launched it in a different way.
It has hints of a very fresh tuberose but the Cassis and Galbanum lend an interesting herbal touch ( a bit like the new Balmain Ivoire). Green but in an abstract way. And also a little creamy and just really well rounded, in a way like the cleanliness of Forever and ever Dior. I for one really really like it, it's a classy scent that never feels out of place or too bothersome. Works well year-round. Thumbs up!

justfloral

crushed dandelion stalks + something reminding Tommy Girl in the background (honeysuckle + musk?). Nice. Poor longevity.

cufberte.daniem

I found myself underwhelmed by this. I expected galbanum and instead got honeysuckle. It is, by no means, a bad scent, but it is rather weak. Watery, if you would. As an EDT, this is to be expected. Eau de Toilettes don't always last less time than Eau de Parfum, but they do project less and this is most certainly the case here. Tuberose was in trend last year and Gucci Bloom definitely delivered one of the most chic there was, alongside Twilly & Gabrielle. It was bold, but also soft and elegant with white flowers blossoming around it.

Acqua di Fiori is closer to the ground, in the forest where all the greenery is... not in a romantic garden, adorned with gateways and white coloured flowers. Honeysuckle is definitely the most prominent, with its creamy sweetness enveloping your skin... and then that's it. The greenness is there, but not in a big way. LotV seems to be more present than galbanum, as the galbanum is very soft. Looking at the notes, one would think 'hmm, maybe a N°19 of the 2010s'. At least, that's what I thought, hoped and wished for. Perhaps that's why I was so underwhelmed. It's not the fault of the scent, nor Gucci but, instead, my own. I set a massive standard that couldn't be reached. Don't look at the notes and formulate ideas like I have, it does no good. Let your nose do the talking, then let your mind put it to words.

aki777

A herbal scent of a bouquet of some synthetic nettles. Disappointing.

JenJones28

Ok. Nothing like Gucci Bloom. Reminds me of D and G light blue without burning my nose the way light blue does. Has a little more floral than light blue eau intense. For a fresh fragrance it lasts longer than most fresh fragrances. I get 6 hrs out of it in the heat, but I also tend to over spray. I think you might get like 4 hrs if you’re a normal sprayer. I love this for hot days in summer.

Mirabele

high up on my wishlist. For me this is one of the best modern green scents out there. not sweet. fresh and dark green. a real novelty in the sea of sweet creations. i dont smell tuberose here whis is a good thing for me. to me it smells just like that green print on the bottle looks - dark green grass, forest on a summer day, some gentle flowers, and something just a sligtly mysteriuos, like a soft touch of a butterfly.
it has nothing in common with the original pink bloom bottle. i dont like that one at all. this is a scent of its own. i am looking forward to be lucky to get it some day.

star127

Lovely swindle by Gucci...thanks Master Father Alberto for the dandelion flower water! :D
What do you smell? A joke...scent.

persefoni

The sample i got from the department store is just like scented water!!

What is this? A new trend?? To wear perfume but not let anyone know?? All my body creams smell much stronger than today's perfumes!!

And who wants to spend so much to vaguely smell of something???

PolarBear2

This is very different from Gucci Bloom, but I like them both ! I chose this for its green scent, as I have lots of flower fragrances.

There is creamy green and flowers at the start. The bloom goes to the background in the dry down and its galbanum till its gone. Well made , but fbest for spring and summer. It is rightfully an eau de toilette. Well done!

REFRESHING
______________________________________________________

I wanted to try ACQUA DI FIORI ever since it came out - and to day I had the opportunity to do it.

The first and last thing I smelled was the freshness - the Galbanum Leaf is very present. After some 30 minutes ACQUA DI FIORI turns from being fresh to somewhat woody (I felt that Sandalwood and Musk took over the fragrance), but after an Hour it returns to its starting point (the dry down was and is Galbanum).

Today was very hot outside and that might have influenced my perception (i hope not).

Longevity: - 3/10 (it's only an EDT)
Sillage: - 3/10

All in all: 8 out of 10 subjective points -> because it's very fresh and I don't get any tuberose (which I truly dislike).

Arlene-Beatrix

Green & tuberose scent, fresh, but definitely not my cup of tea. Ah, tuberose, why don't you like me?

Olya-la

It smells divine in rainy weather when notes of freshly cut grass sound very natural and in unison with humid rainy air, but dry weather makes it too overwhelming and monotonous, and considering its good longevity it can become really annoying.

ProtonN

Creamy greenery!

The first Spring forest plants mixed with luxurious body lotion to give feminine touch.
I get like Morning vibe from this fragrance, to energize you for the day.
Very interesting!

LadyIva

This is a very nice scent, but quite different from the original Gucci Bloom. While the original is dominated by soft tuberose and jasmine sambac, this version is greener and more herbal. Galbanum, cassis, honeysuckle, and then sandalwood and musk. It is very wearable, if slightly unremarkable, but I appreciate that they decided to emphasise the green aspect of Gucci Bloom for the first flanker, instead of going in the sweet-fruity direction. The silage is soft to moderate, depending on the outside temperature, and longevity about 4 hours (pretty much the same as the original). I might decide to purchase this flanker after I have emptied my bottle of the pillar.

Nick1992

Bloom Acqua di Fiori opens as a duet of vegetal galbanum leaf and ammoniac cassis in an unusually sappy, and herbal accord reminiscent of a long-since fertilised box hedge just taken to with a trimmer. Jasmine and honeysuckle quickly bloom from behind the tart foliage, shifting the composition almost entirely to a floral one. Transparent, tinged slightly green, and in the absence of any indoles, the florals here are those of opening buds. There’s a sweetness too, but nothing overbearing or matronly. Toward the gentle dry down of white musk and florals, sandalwood’s soft green creaminess becomes increasing apparent.

A genuinely worthy flanker, Bloom Acqua di Fiori manages to be effortless, youthful and endearing all at once. If the bottle is millennial pink, the scent itself is millennial green.

Feminine leaning though potentially unisex, longevity is moderate at 4-5 hours with soft sillage.

I detect a distinct note of calone (or similar) in this as I did in the original Bloom. It produces a fresh, slightly salty effect that I appreciate more than really like. (Normally I detest calone but it is tolerable here.) So, for me Acqua di Fiori is a salty green fragrance with a hint of tuberose, and the original Bloom was salty floral with a strong note of tuberose. Both are well done and pleasant and I have considered laying down the credit card for both (with a preference for Acqua di Fiori), but ultimately both are too polite and lacking character for my taste. Longevity is under par. The opening of Acqua di Fiori offers 10 minutes of cool stemmy greenery. After those notes fade they are not replaced by anything as interesting. The galbanum is restrained. If galbamum is too much for you in traditional green fragrances such as Chanel No 19, RL Safari, or Jacomo Silences etc, you might be able to tolerate it here.

cocolover56

Yeah look, it's definitely different from most things being released today but I was definitely expecting something much more green. I'm a little disappointed, but the scent itself is SO lovely. The honeysuckle gives it some much needed character, it's light and watery. Very well blended.

VMN5

I love how different it is. Alberto did it again, it's like being in a garden surrounded by flowers of the best quality. On the Bloom vibe but a bit greener. Love them both and it lasts hours on my skin

kl99

Remember me one of those hundreds of fragranges born in the 90s following the success of CKone eternity and the others cool water acquatic ozonic scents: Lancaster sunwater mostly, rochas fleur d'eau and similar.

Nice for summer. Nothing new or wow. Longevity quite poor.
Galbanum? No way. Synthetic note of nimphea/lotus, melon etc.

sarah.brooks

Smells like all stems ..wish they go sweet or more flowers something missing I really wanted to like this but
sometimes parfums have to sit til your ready for them

brada

Beautiful openening of galbanum, but I don't detect tuberose.Only a generic musk in the end.

Longevity:2 hours
Sillage:very poor.

Houdini4

I found the original Bloom to be utter generic rubbish but hey what do I know about mainstream designer scents that are made for women? Not a lot. What I do know is that Gucci have raised their game massively in recent releases the two new Guilty Parfums being notable. I thought the bottle, branding and campaign behind bloom gave it a high profile and a feel of real quality which personally never translated into the fragrance itself, however I have to say I really enjoyed this flanker and so did my better half. She enthusiastically came over waving her wrist at me saying “Smell this...It’s Gucci bloom” I sniffed it and immediately replied...”That isn’t bloom...it’s nice.” She proceeded to show me the bottle and it was this flanker. I subsequently got a sample and confirmed that Acqua di Fiori opens up with a green, galbanum note of transparent incense which by its very nature is fleeting but quickly establishes a herbal, musky woods which is very fresh and green. Nothing sweet, overly floral or cliched in here just really good, light stuff perfect for spring/summer and unisex...I’d rock it. Maybe not enough to blow me away, it’s no Ninfeo Mio but it shares some similarities.

ScarlettX

The original was better, this has a very weird floral scent in it, that reminds me of flower garden.
Not all specific strong floral notes smell like you would want to wear them.
Too much tuberose, I think it's missing something, that could balance it out.
It makes me think of summer, but I guess I would never buy it for myself.

mesha2sweet

Hmmmm.... Sampled this one today at Belk & it is a strange one. I love Bloom, so I thought that this one would be beautiful as well. Oh well. Can't love them all.

Kon-nos91

I was shocked as I didn't like it at all. Not even close to the original Bloom. Of course they don't share similar notes, they aren't even in the same 'perfume group' if we could say, but this is too gross! (or too risky, to be more polite)

We all see that perfumes become weaker and weaker, the houses less creative and thousands of 'new' editions from masterpieces are coming on the market. Some people may like 'green' perfumes, it's something truly daring for Gucci I guess, we asked for something more unique but...I don't know. All I get is a grassy, earthy, green mess. It gives me the idea of being in a not so well cared freshly watered garden in a villa with a fountain in the middle and a gothic environment.

If you're lucky and your chemistry loves green type of perfumes, who knows? Maybe you'll be unique. For me is a pass...

savageinstrangeland

Loved the first one but this was so BITTER to me. As others have mentioned it smells a bit like your hand after pulling weeds, and that simply isn't a pleasant smell to my nose. Straight from the bottle I could smell the flowers but on skin it was sooooooo green. Too green for this gal. If you love green notes, give her a whirl.

yloenog

When you’re doing gardening and getting rid of all the weeds and then your fingers smell of all those different plants. Or when you’re cutting flowers to put them in a vase or make a bouquet - and the stems give off this fresh scent. This is exactly how Bloom Acqua di Fiori smells like. Lovely!

snoopyQ

This one gives me serious " Bright Crystal- vibes" just maybe a tiny bit more aromatic.
Verdict: NOTHING NEW

blueviolet

Did anyone else as a child, ever rub fresh dandelion on their wrists to see it go yellow? Well this smells of that. Freshly picked dandelions. Green and a bit sweet. Like early summer mornings.

auSoleil

I love this fragrance! The original Bloom edp gave me such a headache but this is crisp Spring time freshness! Just like walking through a garden after light rainfall! Really enjoying it, it reminded me of a more green Loewe L Cool for her, my only gripe is that it lasts 2 hours tops...
I do have an atomiser so I can get around that but do I really want to pay that price for 2 hours of performance?

cocolover56

Really excited to try this. Love the original and LOVE Galbanum... kudos Gucci, you're on the right track!

Zetamamman

This is a decent fragrance! I would have liked more galbanum and less sweetness, but it does stand out among the designer offerings of today. Light and fresh without citrus.

Edenrocks

That was fast!

Wooster97

Very light honeysuckle scent with a sweet burst to start off with ,settles very nicely with musky sandalwood, this smells more woody than the original Gucci bloom ,the original is very strong tuberose and pungent honeysuckle throughout !
This scent would suit well in the summer time
