in the first hour it smelled like nothing but powder on me that even my friend who suggested me this perfume was confused which made us came to the conclusion that it was because of my skin but after a while the smell got soo good i couldn’t stop smelling myself. i dont think it is a scent that mature yet still guilty reminds me of some older people in my life whos in their 30s, maybe 40s..? It is very sexy though.

SmellGood_Chi

A great everyday scent. Crowd pleasing and inoffensive. Good for the office. A nice floral for any occasion or season but especially good for spring/summer.

Ground hound

Warm spicy lilac with hints of rose and bergamot. Full-bodied, sweet and pleasant.
If L'Eau d'Issay was darker and more mature.

Tsmarcondes

I had a sample and used during a trip. It's very mature, but not dated. It's scent that for me is not groundbreaking, on the contrary, this makes it very wearable for doing errands or work. You have to like florals to enjoy, if they are not your cup if tea, it can be a bit annoying.

MrsDaSilva

If Gucci stop making this one I will have nothing to live for. I have 3 bottles of this one in 3 different sizes. I received lots of compliments and some like “ you smell like fresh clean clothes “ I believe it is because of the iris notes mixed with citrusy. I love this perfume and this is far better than Chanel Chance or Gabrielle

jdb_

I keep seeing sophisticated florals being called “rich auntie” scents. Especially with patchouli, rose, and/or the chypre accord. Gucci Guilty is that essence but in the most modern, sexy way. I do feel rich when I wear this (lies) but not snotty old money rich- more like 90s supermodel in the corner of a nightclub, private booth, slinky dress kinda rich. People want to be seen with her. She’s got legs for days and somehow just puts her hair in a stupid clip and looks like a million bucks. This scent is kinda classic but still a little edgy. It’s effortless, cool, but dressy. This feels like a signature night-out scent you could wear through the decades. (It’s more suited to grownT women)

Spicy, floral, aromatic, musky; depending on the weather it reads a bit juicy or more powdery. Orange, violet, and patchouli might be singing loudest to me but it’s very well blended. Can see this working most seasons as it’s not a particularly warm frag. Just fabulous ugh!

Alenmarie

No siento ese polvo que tanto dice q hay en el, y es una pena, porque me encanta eso en un perfume. Es fácil de agradar, tiene su frutado, no es empalagoso...me gusta, pero no fue amor. Pésima fijación

dunder988

I really like it, but I think it smells a lot more powdery on the paper than clothes. On clothes it is more peppery and slightly fruity. I might buy it but I am not sure if this is what I am looking for... I was hoping for a love by chloe replica but it was not :(

Crimson Rain Sought Flowe

I love it. It's powdery, elegant with slightest tang of sweetness in the background, to some degree sort of cottony. It opens up with rich spicy aroma and then settles down with sophisticated florals that last all day long. In my opinion it is perfect for any season at all and any time of the day. It's strong but not overpowering and is definitely a statement perfume.

Rosiewebber

Going against the grain here, but this was an instant dislike. Pencil shavings, powder, dusty florals. Nope.

MissRoby

I am totally and utterly obsessed with this scent.
I have been on the hunt for a signature scent for years, one that just checks all the boxes, all year round never getting enough type scent. Wich is trying to look for a needle in a haystack. As a sweet lover I’ve stayed true to my beloved vanilla28 for awhile but it just gets… boring and too much at the same time.
Now I’m pretty sure this got reformulated some time ago bc I remember blind buying a small bottle about 4-5 years ago and it was a horrendous patchouli bomb to my nose. I have sold that bottle.
About half a year ago I got a free rollerball with a purchase and I have been obsessed ever since.
Idk if the notes are still the same as described here but this scent is amazing. It’s fresh, it has a bit of a punch from the patchouli still wich is more of a fruitchouly and it dries down into the most gorgeous slightly sweet, creamy, powdery scent of all time. This has enough sweetness for me to satisfy my need for sweet without it being just vanilla. It’s interesting and sexy because of the kick it has to it and then the powderiness and creaminess make it mature, it’s borderline grandma but it’s not grandma, it just has an amazing comforting calming quality to it. it’s just perfect. The compliments on this one are insane. Just insane.
I wear this year round, daytime, nighttime, To work, to everywhere. It perfectly adjusts to outside temperatures.
For the first two hours it leaves an incredible scent trail and then it quiets down. It lasts about 4-6 hours. It’s not one to overspray. 10-10 would not recommend overspraying this one, bc it will get you sick. I reapply during the day with a normal amount of sprays when it starts to fade.
Idk if it’s a safe blindbuy, but if this works with your chemistry, boy it works!!

coucoupetite

This reminds me of the old Bvlgari pour femme which I have in my collection. The powdery especially after dry down I guess. However, the Bvlgari has a more fresh citrus to it while Gucci more floral. It's not the type of perfume which makes me wow at first sniff. It's ordinary and okay. But due to the powdery note, it makes you feel slightly older than you are. The note does evolve over time on me which is a good sign. It grows on me when I use it a few times. But I still doubt if I would get a full size of it.

Ralison71

The floral for me is a strong lilac. It is a little too sharp, almost like a sweet-tart. Only a hint of patchouli, which is a good thing. I like fruity florals, but usually think they are too sweet and need more orange. In this case it's the opposite. It does have a mild powdery dry down that softens the tartness, but not enough. I'm not familiar enough with violet or geranium to know if they are contributing to what I don't like. It is strong too, not offensive, but you can't get away from it.

meganlamode

I recently received this as a gift. Call me old fashioned, but I typically enjoy lilac and violet notes, so this fits into my collection easily. There is somewhat of a sharpness, maybe from the pink pepper or geranium, that is a bit unpleasant, but it fades away quickly. Sometimes patchouli can make or break a fragrance for me, but it's not too overpowering here. Maybe because of this, Guilty EdP doesn't seem to have much longevity - I normally only spray once or twice, and I don't really mind a scent dissipating after a few hours, but I figured I'd put it out there just in case it matters to others. Overall, I'm enjoying this scent!

Scilletok

GF wears this a lot. I can confirm the longevity is very very good. Still projects within an arms length after 4-5 hours

Ladylannae

Oh my, my skin chemistry turned this to a baby diaper. Like brand new, unused, straight-from-the-package, baby diaper. I can't un-smell it.

Gifted the remainder to a friend

Cycys

A good one for someone who wants a clean slightly powdery office friendly scent.

xababyxaforluv

Quite stunning at first, but unfortunately, quickly declines into: oh, this hurts my nose, my head, just no. Generic mall like fragrance.

poodleParty

So obsessed with this. I love the entire Gucci guilty line. They smell very vintage and mature to me...I understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea. They smell like something from the 80s and 90s. Big hair, shoulder pads, loud high heels type of vibe.

I'm in my 30s and I think I can pull this off now. I don't think it would've been suitable for me in my 20s.

IMN14_

I bought it blindly, and I don’t care if it’s for ladies or whoever. I wore it before sleeping, and when I woke up I smelled something that I would like to drink or kiss

PascalSimon

It's a shame that the violet completely dominates and turns this perfume into an old-fashioned and mature scent. Otherwise, the perfume is elegant, sparkling, clean, in my opinion the Italian version of Coco mademoiselle. I also have the body lotion and I am in love with it. Here fortunately, I don't smell violet and it's not easy to recognize individual ingredients, but as a whole the scent is feminine, sexy, rounded and divine with a touch of sparkling sharpness.

Linda_80

I love this so much.
I got it from my husband on christmas eve, and I absolutely Adore it🤎
It makes me feel ;
•Confident
•SEXY
•Feminine
•Elegant
•Desired

I've already ordered a new,big bottle of this.

electric_evelyn

Honestly, this confuses me. It has the same DNA as some 2010s perfumes, yet it came out in 2019. I feel it is very close to Lady Million.
I can't really tell out individual notes, but it's not spectacular or memorable. It made me a bit nauseous during warmer weather, so definitely cold weather.
The bottle is cute and small though, goes fine inside your purse.

mothtoaflame___

Others like it on me A LOT along with the EDT and I wanted to love this line sooooo bad (alone for the fact I adore Lana del Rey) but for me personally it smells bitter and chalky in an unpleasant way. I guess I just can’t appreciate it, yet I want to give the Intense version a good, day-long test on skin.

wow this smells so beautiful! The sales clerk sprayed Gucci Guilty on my left wrist and Olympea Solar on the other. Even though OS is rated as longer wearing on fragrantica, I think GG lasts more than OS. I was contemplating between GG and OS. OS has very little presence to me. I had to put my nose near to my wrist to smell it. GG on the other hand has more projection! I catches whiffs of it while I'm shopping. This is the first time I smell violet on a perfume. It reminds me of christmas. So so beautiful and uplifting fragrance! I associate the smell with my aunt who visits from UK every christmas. This fragrance reminds me of her. It does smells like a rich aunt.

Ignore the negative reviews guys. You have to test it first to see if it works on you. GG is certainly not crazy projecting like Libre or L'interdit but it's beautiful and wearable, so I don't mind.

Andy224

Not a fan. Not loving the prominent geranium note and it doesn’t even last much.

LaContessina

Nice bottle, wrong name.
Boring, average, clean, feminine floral.
it's a classic mainstream frangrance; a violet, rose and lilac flower bouquet, with a tad of berry fruityness and a classic amber-patchouli base.
Not repulsive as other designer frags (think LVEB, Prada Paradoxe, Coach, Michael Kors, Daisy etc) indeed it's very wearable, not offensive, but as well not memorable.
OK for office wear (if you are able to locate a bottle, that is).
Very similiar to CK Beauty, RL Romance.
You can get better.

kboyle

Gorgeous scent!!! I am personally tired of all of the sickly sweet caramel and overly fruity perfumes that we've had for the last, so many years! This is quite simply a beautiful soft floral, that makes you feel pretty! Soft, elegant, classy ~ wonderfully done, Gucci!!!

Lanascola

The prettiest fragrance suitable for the prettiest ladies. It instantly resembles candied violets and parma violets i had as a kid and still enjoy now, probably why it's so appealing to me now. Not only this but its marketing and bottle screams simplicity yet sophistication including the ad with Lana Del Rey which makes me fixate on the screen its playing on whilst being in complete awe. The only down-side is that its longevity is poor and it's generally not very mass pleasing and receives minimal compliments :/

XOXO_marcel

Slightly sweet and verrryyyy floral. There's something lingering in the background that's almost like pancakes with maple syrup, but this fragrance on the whole is extremely light. I like it, but wouldn't buy at full price.

Nice choice for Springtime.

Icarel

GLAMOUR level 100! Gucci Guilty is one of glamorous perfume I have encountered, and I have encountered more than 200. It’s a powdery lilac and violet bomb with a punch of freshness, helping it not to be too much. It’s not sweet or syrupy at all, it is floral and powdery. It is a must for all violet and lilac lovers. I get all the middles notes listed above, but here the lilac and violet are the ABSOLUTE stars of show! Velvety and creamy, it is a rich perfume that will get you noticed and last really well; I can still smell it though my laundry basket. I had the impression to be in a cloud of powdery lilac for hours while wearing it and people asked me a lot while coming closer “it smells good in your direction; is that you?” Close to Violet Orchid, Lolita Lempicka, Parisienne and share the Moulin Rouge vibes of Le Classique EDP, I easily also imagine Betty Poop, Jessica Rabbit, Marilyn Monroe, Dita Von Teese; and yes, Lana Del Rey wearing that. The kind of perfume for people that want to make a statement, for sure.

Could be wear all year long by people who wants to be noticed in the crowd, however IMO Gucci Guilty is not perfume really casual or for work, nor for clubbing, its sophisticated, glam and if you are an over-sprayer; it could be really inviting and sultry ;)

mimircks

A very heady and divinely complicated GG edp Pour Femme INTENSE! So perfectly wicked for the sensual "bad girls" among us. YEEUUMMM!!!

UNIQUE SCENT. FOR THE STRONG INDEPENDANT WOMEN, AND OF COURSE RICH AND CLASSY ONES.
THIS SCENT DESCRIBES THOSE WOMEN.
I WORE IT I CAN SMELL A LOT OF OUD BUT IT FADES AFTER 5 MINUTES, I GOT COMPLIMENTS ON THE SCENT.IT LASTS ABOUT 5-6 HOURS.
IT WINS IN MY OPINION GUCCI NEVER PUTS ME DOWN.

perfumesniffer

Ok, not bad by any means, but not … compelling?

I LOVED Love, Chloe EDP and this is nowhere near as good as that beauty.

This is a pretty, powdery floral that’s very light, polite and unnoticeable. There’s a metallic streak that bothers me though. I love the bottle and am disappointed it’s not vastly better. At least it isn’t a super sweet gunky vanilla thing. Ok if I’m allowing myself to be snarky it is a bit like a bathroom air freshener. And there’s just something I can’t quite pinpoint that I don’t like about it. I think this needs a bit more green or a bit more sweet or a dash more of an unusual note. As it is, it’s just not compelling for me and a generic sort of air freshener. another recent blind buy mistake was Lilas Exquis by Jacques Fath. that one is a much better lilac floral than this Gucci. fairly similar overall but the JF seems better quality & dash more green.

mizzflrpt7

Really wanted to like it. I imagined it as a good drugstore gem but this fragrance is almost giving me a headache with its really long lasting and strong flowery vinegar that never goes, never mellows. Such a shame as I absolutely adore the flanker design. It could work for someone who works at a medical setting. Work fragrance for someone who doesn’t want to exude any personality but smell clean and put together to others.

melusina1982

Getting to know this one. I'd been always intrigued by its smell so when I found it for a really good price went for it without even thinking. So far it remains a "yes but..." perfume: gorgeous vintage lilac BUT too much patchouli; baby gentle and understated BUT a tinge of something gagging. I will continue my investigation because it draws me in, time will tell if we are made for each other.

Galkagalinka

If you want a unique floral scent, this is for you! It’s a strong, expensive scent, will last forever on your skin and clothes. I’ve returned mine because I prefer gourmand scents

Spicadk

It has a very unique smell. Both sweet, warm, flowery and spicy. Smells expensive, and like a classic lady. It could be a great signature scent, because it smells so unique. I think this can be worned every day. Smells like roses and warm pebber.

zestybloom

Fresh violet lilac bright clean soft floral I love it like clean fresh beautiful expensive laundry great spring summer scent

KaliDurga

This is a soft lilac and violet (very) feminine fragrance. Seems best suited for church or a Sunday stroll in the park. Some have said it smells like baby wipes. I definitely get that although it is a bit of an exaggeration. If you like soft feminine scents, this one is for you.

Luce23

I loved Guilty, the citrusy floral but slightly spicy and patchouli notes could have been designed especially for me, a perfect everyday scent. But like most perfumes I’ve loved, it’s been reformulated 😢 This one is still recognisable as Guilty but much more powdery and sweet, maybe less spice. There’s something about this new version which slightly reminds me of Paco Rabanne XS for her, if anyone else remembers it?! That was a perfume I loved too so I’m not too disappointed.

smellslikecoffee

It starts off sweet and nice. But it then becomes very synthetic surrounded by powdery nothingness with a hint of green and pink pepper far, far away.

It does not work on my skin unfortunately.

moneyistheanthem

I think this perfume would suit a classy, mature, sophisticated woman -but it really isn't for me lol. Not my style, not my vibe, but it's definitely a pleasant fragrance. I get almost no floral notes from it, besides a hint of rose and geranium. It's very amber-y, with the second strongest note (in my opinion) being mandarin orange. Then patchouli maybe? No pink pepper thankfully, which I hate. It smells expensive and I think it would make a great gift, even if it isn't something I would pick up for myself.

siynaloa

How i want it. Thinking about day and night, reading all reviews and on feb 2022 after my birthday i received it 🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊 i was like « OMG » I’m happy try it couldn’t smell it !!!! Whyyyyyyyyyy!
After hours it’s beautiful long lasting powdery feminine classy vibes it bloom on cold weather
But it’s not for me !!!! No no no not for me on my mom it’s bloom on me i feel something wrong
This is life i enjoy having it and try it but i prefere when my mom wear it 💟

onlythesun321

Was very sweet at first, I thought it might be white florals and some fruit, like strawberry. On the dry-down, it's sweet, feminine, powdery lilac. Not a green or photorealistic lilac, but really pretty. It leans a bit mature, but the orange gives it some brightness.

Allthingssparkle

This fragrance is pretty, but I don't think I would purchase it. The violet or lilac in it reminds me of either 1) a comforting, soft-scented laundry detergent/laundry sheets OR 2) baby products (baby wipes, baby oil, or baby lotion). It's a plush, soft scent, so I probably lean more toward detergent in the first few minutes and baby products at the drydown. None of those are bad - it's actually pleasant. I'm just not sure I would purchase it as a fragrance. I think I'd like it more as a plug-in for a room scent than perfume.

Anamandy

I have the Intense version that comes in the small square bottle and like it a lot. I'm trying this version from a manufacturer's sample and this isn't doing it for me. There is something here, and I suspect it is the Patchouli mixed with the amber, that is throwing a wrench in what could otherwise be a great fragrance. That sweet, herbaceous dry down is almost stomach turning. I really don't like this at all.

auroora

Guilty Pour Femme is synthetic, very mature, strong enough to make your throat itch. Settles into a powdery floral, still synthetic and a bit spicy. I got no fruits or amber, just a harsh cloud of flowers and patchouli. This is the opposite of a perfume I can't stop smelling my wrists for, and so many other things I don't want from any fragrance. I have a sample of the EdT waiting to be tested, but I'm honestly too scared to even try a little spritz at this point.

I was trying to figure out what the flowers reminded me of, but as others already said, it's definitely baby wipes. I'm sure it's good for someone who likes scents of this type, but for me? I got an immediate headache and looming nausea which both lasted for several hours, despite scrubbing my wrists clean, until my suffering finally ended when I fell asleep at night.

For the love of god, don't blind buy this if you have asthma and/or allergies, and please don't overspray if you wear this to public places.

FRAGLORD3000

Wow they really butchered the classic and it is tragic

KarolaFragrance

Smells like an old aunt wearing too much makeup, too much golden jewelry and too much perfume.

Ankvak

I got a sample of this. Very soft and feminine. I think too that this is a more mature scent. Nice powdery floral, but not my favorite.

Shui-Xian

Well, this is the perfume which dominates. Strong, mature, sexy.

Patchouli and violets dictate the aroma most. Geranium makes the scent milder but with bergamot and pepper, the result is spicy and fresh.

I agree that this perfume is clean, however I don't like it's syntetic mark. For me, this scent creates very luxury and confident image but it's not autentical...

Sillage and longevity moderate. At nights it will be fatale and chic.

AshBud

I do get the baby wipe vibe as well, which is the lilac I believe. A bit of a demure yet mature scent, powdery with a little spice. I much prefer the eau de toilette to the parfum. Its got the same powdery base, but its a little richer and deeper in floral.

Pinkmilktea85

This definitely gives off a rich woman vibes. Smells clean and elegant. Downside is this has a weak projection and scent is a bit too mature for my liking.

Bekah9247

Rich b*tch in a bottle. Fresh, powdery, and powerful. Smells like a boss lady in her late 30’s or early 40’s. It lasts a long time, and projection is good. This is a great daytime scent.

sweetlikecandie

pretty, fresh and clean. Smells like a fresh clean shower. Definitely more feminine but since its such a clean scent it could work on anymore. The citrus isn't overpowering but very very gentle due to the powderyness and the floral notes sweeten it up slightly. Inoffensive. Definitely doesn't last long at all, id be shocked if I even got 30 minutes out of it tbh and it sits veryyy close to the skin. A good everyday intimate scent but definitely could be improved.

Peaches&Cream

I got more of the floral and pink pepper notes. I didn't have to re-spray which was a good thing that it last throughout the day, I had to smell my clothes by the end of the day since it had faded a bit but I could still smell the perfume when the wind blew. Now that it is fall and temps have changed, this will be better to wear during cooler weather as it may be cloying in the heat.

scentine

To me this fragrance is all lilac and little else. The sweetness balances out most of the green sharpness, but like most lilac fragrances it still retains something that I would describe as cold and slightly sharp. The other notes aren't prominent enough to change that and to me this remains a lilac soliflore first and foremost, so it's a note you have to get along with to love this fragrance. And I've found that I don't. I don't mind this on clothes or paper, but when it warms on the skin it initially turns a bit sour. This could be the mandarin orange, but it's not really distinguishable as an individual note, so it simply smells like sour lilac.

Overall I find that what this fragrance is truly guilty of is being lackluster. It's very simple and pretty generic. Somehow I've held on to my bottle, but I couldn't really tell you why honestly. Lilac is not a very youthful note to me, but at the same time a more mature wearer might want something a bit more elevated. This doesn't smell particularly refined, and the longevity isn't good either. So it's definitely not a fragrance I can recommend to someone, especially given that the price point is pretty high for a designer fragrance. I mean I guess it can be used for layering, but you could get a much higher quality fragrance for the same price from niche and independent houses.

karamelle

Here is what this scent reminds me of: A boss lady in her late 30s, she’s effortlessly beautiful, successful and kind. She wears this to work everyday. I love love love it. This could be a great signature scent if the performance was better. Smells very elegant, feminine&expensive at the same time. I might even purchase despite the poor performance

Vellocet

I really have to stop blind buying. The notes seemed beautiful to me but I can’t barely smell it? It’s very soft but oh so generic

yana.levus

Got myself a set of Gucci samples, and Gucci Guilty is the first one I’m testing. I remember trying it years ago, but it didn’t exactly manage to catch my attention. Now? Oh, it’s lovely! I have no idea where these grandma/vintage comments are coming from. Are these days anything not strong on vanilla or gourmand notes people view as an old-smelling retro perfume? How boring 😜

Gucci Guilty opens a bit spicy, and that spiciness remains present in the dry-down as well. The florals here are simply divine! Had no idea I would enjoy lilac and violet combo this much. Yes, the perfume is kind of powdery, but it doesn’t bother me at all. General impression: clean, modern, quite elegant and unique.

Smell like a warm hug

This is.. interesting. I'm not sure if it's the violet, but it smells overpoweringly of licorice to my nose. That's unfortunately not my thing, but if you like that, this might be a good fragrance to look into :)

karinatfragrantica

Interesting. Quite perfumey, soapy, slightly powdery. I see this on a young woman dressed retro-chic style.

jeannebelmondo

Vintage '50s makeup powder scent that manages to not smell formal or dated. A younger person could wear this with a casual outfit, which is a strong feat for a powder violet fragrance.

The patchouli, amber and bergamot in this make it a very modern and wearable scent. Very, very elegant and Guerlain-esque. I love it.

victoria.mei1992

Smells very similar to Armani si passione, nothing like the original guilty, very synthetic, kind of like washing detergent. Very close to the skin, weak scent. Was one of my favorite perfumes, very sad :(

AutumnJewel

Note For Myself: Beautiful opening. Middle notes sit most on my skin being , lilac and violet .
Too powdery for my taste but, it is a beautiful affordable fragrance… I would suggest cooler to mildly warm weather for longevity.

Sierra_b

Best soapy fragrance if you wanna smell clean feminine fresh out of the shower this is it but I've gotta say a little mature tbh so feel free to wear it it's beautiful 💗

haleykbhenry

Lana Del Ray was the perfect ambassador for this. It's so unique like her but also perfect for the office. It's inoffensive, pretty but it also has the vibe "I'm only tame if I want to be" while at the same time subconsciously planting the idea "she has to have money" in the mind of whoever observes you as you pass by. It almost invokes a sense of mystery which is what I really like about it. The character is there.

The initial spray is consistent with the dry down with a well done Powdery lovely vibe intertwined with a violet rose. In the world where every woman seems to reach for Coco Mademoiselle this is quite unique while being very VERSATILE to wear in every environment you walk through from day to night. I recommend every woman to pair this with your favorite red lipstick.

LSAUG

I like Gucci Guilty pour femme, it is a pretty violet make up bag scent. It's slightly fruity but not overly so. Pretty powdery violet (it's not sharp like violet leaf can be) Floral lilac of spring comes through. I like the fact that it is more floral than fruity and the patchouli in this one isn't overdone. It's slightly spicy from the pink pepper but again that isn't overdone either. Guilty pour femme is a nice spring violet/lilac powdery make up bag scent. I may have to get a small bottle at some point for my collection. I like Pour Femme better than the Intense and the Absolute. The Intense gave me a headache and is to fruity and the Absolute is to fruity as well, you don't get enough florals w/ those and I'm a floral girl. This Pour Femme is up my ally and I may have to add it to my collection. Nicely done Gucci.

Cathped

This one is interesting. Nice and calm smell of spring lilacs. Powdery and sweet, but subtle. Very attractive but low projection. Elegant and ladylike.

GGLiCious

Smells just the same as the og edt in the square packaging but a lot softer, smoother & a lil' bit more floral... longevity quite good around 7 to 8 hours... i stick to my og edt cuz it's got more spiky & sassy & a lot more lasting & power... that's it... now i need the new intense 2022 version!

Vanilla_Pod

Mmm this is super unique for a designer fragrance. I expected it to be girly and floral but it's much cooler. I can really smell the violet. This would be my signature fragrance if it wasn't so weak/not long lasting on me. Also love the ad with Lana 😍

Scandipersian

How refreshing and kind of edgy this felt, as different from all other women frags in the sweet pile as it gets. A bit spicy and very classy.
I like the fact that Gucci perfumes are not following the mainstream trends of every other house.

nickinicole

Violet just doesn't work on me. I'm trying to accept that. Something about this scent smells powdery in the worst possible way. *On me* the scent is one that reminds me of cheaply scented baby products. My nose picks up the warmth of the pink pepper and a bit of patchouli... and that's it! No citrus, no rose, no amber (so none of the notes that I love and really hoped to smell).

BilgeD

Before trying, the notes of this of perfume sounded good but not too exciting. My first trial gave me again the same impression, good but not something very extraordinary. However this perfume has been somehow addicting for me. It is not too mature nor too girly. It is in the middle ground. It seems basic at first but gives me attractive woman vibes. It is hard to explain but this must be the definition of woman perfume. I'm imagining a succesful, confident and elegant woman in her late twenties or thirties wearing this. And also, I bought this as a rollerball to see If I will like this one and it has been a good discovery. So after it finishes, I will buy a full bottle.

kaie

I recently rediscovered this scent and i get it much sweeter than I remember. Its still a pretty floral and I don't get citrus notes from it.

fairycoffins

I remember reading about Lana’s Gucci Guilty campaign — she was originally considering her own line, but then got the offer from Gucci and went with that instead. I think this scent is absolutely beautiful and matches her vibe; no celebrity perfume could come close to this, so I’m glad she went this route. As a patchouli fanatic, I jumped on this as soon as I was aware of its existence. The top notes are quite common in perfumes these days, but the floral heart notes were very well-chosen for this blend. No jasmine or tuberose like everyone else seems to be doing. It seems fitting that Lana would be associated with a perfume containing violet, too, like it’s a nod to her poetry book. I love that. Rose and geranium are really lovely here, too. And the powdery nuances from the lilac note just works so beautifully, and I’m not usually a fan of powdery notes. This perfume is just so classy and gorgeous. I’m wearing it right now as I’m getting ready for a photo shoot and it just makes me feel like a sophisticated little fairy queen. I only have a travel rollerball currently (be warned, they don’t come 100% full… it’s closer to 75%), but I’ll be investing in a full bottle at some point. Great work with this one, Gucci.

Ganyadnal

I like floral as the main point and a little bit of everything else. This perfume meets all those requirements! This is my everyday scent that describes me the best. At sephora, other perfumes were a bit too much of something, but this one was just perfect. It didnt smell too sharp, but it's there and feminine and sexy and impressionable. Love it.

AlexandraTroush

This reminds me of the dry-down of Angel EDT (the older, comet version). They share pink pepper, bergamot, and patchouli.

Strong sour powderiness, borderline unisex. Longevity seems average at around 5-6 hours, though I would expect better from an EDP, especially at this price point. Projection is very good, it fills up a room.
Scent-wise, I think it's more interesting than the common offerings on the market at the moment. I think it's a bit too outgoing for an office or other professional settings, it could choke someone out in a closed space. It's more of an outdoors scent, maybe a date in the park or an open space event. Very chic, but I don't know if I can call it elegant. It has just that tiny bit of sass in it to make it quirky.

I would be very happy if someone gifted this to me, but considering I already have Angel EDT (the old, comet version), there's no need for me to buy it for myself. When I run out of Angel, though, I'll get it for sure as a replacement.

pinkstate

To me this would make a perfect perfume for a bride. It's a delicate and romantic floral. I get well blended hints of lilac, violet and rose on a soft patchouli base. The dry down reminds me of a baby's skin scent.

Andreaelvira

Love this. Its classy and sensual without being to heavy and mature. Works for all seasons but I personally view it as more of a fall/winter scent. The amber and vanilla gives the perfume depth and warmth, and the florals makes it fresh and sweet. Really recommend this!

Marie76

Well, this is a bit strange... I only get a soft, powdery, patchouli and leather creamy accord. No flowers. Nothing else. Very much like Santal33 but creamier still.
I like it very much, but I think I'd tire of it so haven't bought it.

Tomadeupjazz

This is the perfumiest perfume I have in my collection 🤣. Let me explain, this is a very aromatic, floral, heady scent. A tiny bit fresh and zingy because of the pink pepper, and bergamot opening. But other than that I really can't pull out any other notes from this scent. Altogether it's just what a department store, luxury perfume should smell like. Low key this reminds me of a more modern younger version of white diamonds. Which is what my mom used to wear back in the day when I was a child. So this has some scent memories attached, but it's still it's own scent. I actually like it, which is crazy because it isn't my type of scent profile at all. But it's great layered with other things in my collection. Gives me rich boss confident woman vibes. You literally smell like money with this one. High end, expensive, classy and good taste. This lasts forever so you're getting what you pay for. Definitely strong AF too. Can't really overspray with this one or it'll be too overpowering for yourself and the people around you. I think because its such an aromatic scent it could potentially be worn year round but as I am just wearing it this fall, I think of it as a fall perfume. But I will continue to wear it and see how I feel about it as time goes on.

Zamiratoru

Gucci guilty EDP is my favorite perfumes. it’s so soft and fresh. it reminded me about BLV Bvlgari for women

Queenofconeyisland

So good I love this perfume so much it’s so soft and pretty i recommend ❤️❤️😍

amloki

This is one of my favorite perfumes. I love the original edt version, but it doesn't last as long on me. This one lasts several hours, and the scent is identical to me. It is sweet, fruity and a little powdery. When it dries down it almost has a tobacco sweetness. Good for all year, but love it more in cooler weather.

heartstopss

this was ok at first and there was something nostalgic in it within the first 20 minutes where i was like no i def smelled this before as a child. so even tho it’s not my usual taste i liked it for that. but then it turned sour on me and after that it vanished

clairesque

Impression from a paper strip: Powdery violet with a little spice. I'm really not a fan of this, it's almost as if this fragrance can't decide what it wants to be. The citrus, spice, florals, powdery flowers, and base notes just don't go together very well and it creates a "blob" that's just quite boring.

larisa16

I received a sample of this at Sephora and i don’t like it. It doesn’t have anything special in my opinion. It’s a sweet and floral scent but without a twist. It’s that kind of perfume that my mother will wear.

americanablonde

Unfortunately, this didn't work for my body chemistry. It smelled too overtly synthetic, and ended up giving me a headache. The floral top notes are definitely there, but it's also a bit powdery, and I find that it turns a bit sour upon the dry down.

Pez_Enelrio

This is a very sophisticated, inoffensive yet sensual fragrance.
Reminds me of the impression Lancome Magnifique had on me. Oriental smell holding back on intensity, close to the skin, not too sweet.

leonaV

This is such a great scent. but I cant describe, what feelings I get when smelling it. It is such an original perfume with lots of flowers like lilac or violet. It is almost soapy fragrance with a bit of the spiciness. I have seen and read many reviews and some of them claimed that this perfume is a clubbing fragrance. Ant tbh I dont agree with this statement. Gucci guilty pour femme is light and romantic. Ideal as s gift I would say

Amandatavares

I love the scent and think it’s gorgeous, but it doesn’t last on me at all! I want to smell like this all day long, fresh, powdery, feminine, beautiful, but within an hour it fades away. Very disappointing! Looking for something that smells like this but LASTS

rainydays

I find this surprisingly addictive. It's predominantly lilac on me but the sweet femininity is tempered by noticeable pepper and patchouli. Lady-like but not linear. Strong florals and I usually don't get along but there's something about this that makes me feel confident and elegant.

rachelsedge

From first spray I cringed. It was very strong and I don't even remember what it was about it I did not like (I tested at Ulta). The dry down isn't terrible, but something about it I do not like and almost makes me feel sick. It's like a dark, powdery, overly sweet smell. It's syrupy. It smells very vaguely familiar, almost as if I have smelled it on someone else before, but it smelled better on them. Unfortunately, it does not play well with my nose and skin chemistry.

ETA: The more this fades, the better it smells. Too bad for most of its life on me, I don't like it :(

CurrencyThat

Light and sparkling but also textured and sensual. Guilty opens fresh with a zesty citrusy burst like a combination of orange zest and patchouli. Starts to dry down to a cool floral and shifts to something a bit more sheer and watery. I get subtle hints of violet and and the texture starts to become powdery although I'd say it's a very light powder. I also get a sheer earthy aroma that smells a bit damp (though light and inoffensive) and there's something that smells woody about this as well which could be part of the amber I see listed as a base note. Overall it's a light fresh scent that expands to become a bit more powdery at heart and something I enjoyed getting wafts of as I wore it. Not mind-blowing or unique but also easy on the nose and inoffensive.

MrAbbas

Let me start by saying that till now I haven't found a single Gucci perfume that I liked, and this is no exception. Smells to me like bug spray mixed with a bit of baby powder. It just has this Guilty dna that I am not a fan of. Performance is good but I don't like it. I don't feel "Guilty" that I didn't buy it.

Enrium

Having liked the unusual accords of the original Gucci Guilty, I was keen to compare it with this newer iteration, especially given the colourful retro-fabulous Lana Del Rey/Jared Leto ad campaign. However, this is a watered-down version, despite containing many of the original notes. Overall, this is less sweet and more green, but lacks depth.

After the alcoholic haze of the initial spray dies down, citrus and patchouli jump out at me. More tart bergamot than sweet orange, it has an earthy green, almost masculine quality. The geranium becomes more evident after half-an-hour or so, with a musky undertone. Violet and amber creep into the drydown but Guilty quickly fades to a powdery skin scent. Limited longevity and moderate sillage. Not a floral fragrance to me, could be unisex.

Fleetingly interesting, but ultimately disappointing. Passable, inoffensive day scent.
Guilty of insipidity. 2/5.

PeppaPig

Very disappointed with this perfume.
I bought it after smelling a faux version on my Daughter, thinking how lovely it was.
The (expensive) reality is very different.
It's a nice smell initially, though probably a bit too musky for my liking, however, within an hour, it's faded to practically nothing on me!
All that's detectable is a very faint powdery smell - my family couldn't even tell I'd got any perfume on! It is like a very watered down EDT instead of the EDP it is supposed to be.
I was hoping this was going to be my new signature perfume for all occasions, instead, I have just wasted £50 😡

Seducianne

I’ve just realized that I have been owning this fragrance for longer than a year now, thanks to one of the most generous Fragranticans, Scarbo, and never got to review it.
I am wearing this on a way too warm early spring day, around 15+ degrees Celsius, sun shining and an overall uplifting, optimistic day.
And Guilty EDP sings beautifully on my skin, not too intrusive but not too close, loud enough for me to catch wafts of it when I walk or move. The scent is very soft (as in tender and graceful), but absolutely present and it’s as clear as spring water. I get slightly sweet, dewy flowers and plants with a crystalline quality. Almost a glassy / sheer perfume, somehow innocent because of the lack of sweetness and “fluff”, yet in no way simple or immature.
I see this fit for any lady, from young to mature, because it’s so classy and feminine that it cannot really clash with anyone, as long as it’s worn with grace, imo.
Performance is fine on me. I have sprayed it 3 hours ago and I still very much smell it (not up close from the skin, because I have sprayed it on my neck, therefore I’m pretty sure it creates a bubble around me).

lanaconstantinova

I smelled it in winter in Russia in 2019, as my friend was wearing it while we were in the Ural forest there walking for about 3-4 hours. The minute I smelled it on her it was like that smell I was searching for since I was a teen in Russia in 1983- or even earlier... I can't remember to be honest what year it was. I wore many other perfumes which reminded me in a certain way about that dreamy like a fairytale perfume. I put it back then in 1980-s on my fur around my neck as my classmate's mom had it in a tiny little bottle made in France, this packaging was so similar in style to Channel as my mom always had Chanel 5 at that time, but this wasn't it for sure nor Gucci. I went through many vintage pictures and even bought Chantilly although the packaging was very different again, the experts were saying this was it; not it wasn't unfortunately... From my memory, it was in a way similar maybe to Chantilly, but way better smell than both of them Chantilly and Chanel 5 ... Mind you back in 1970-s or 80-s Chanel was a lot different than these days. I bought Ch5 again for my mom just a couple of years ago, and I swear it just has a horrible heavy and irritating side to it. So, I am waiting now to get Gucci Guilty once I have a chance to smell it and buy it in the store here in NZ. I am an old fashioned and I only trust to buy my perfumes in stores.
This perfume was made to evoke my memories when I was a teen. Some compositions are just calling you and you can't get enough of them. Thanks, Gucci, you made my dreams come true.

So.. my task today was to compare this and the old intense edp. I really love reading scrupulose reviews so I will try for somebody who is breaking the head about new and old before sniffing. When I sprayed it I was a little dissappointed about the new version - it's less loud and more rounded, maybe more mass pleasing, I usually like perfumes with character or I would say perfumes with characteristic smell. At the first 30 minutes, I would disagree with those who compared it with chloe love (RIP ;(, chloe was a thicker, a little bit darker, more powdery and dry. Also I cannot see masculine or vintage vibe, but it's also not candy cotton girly sugar water like many of the new perfumes. I would say it's interesting and really represents more modern version of guilty (not that I have issues with old one :D) . This got more and more interesting while I analized it. Like I said, at start I missed the punch and loudness, what makes guilty guilty. It feels like you take the idea of guilty, but dilute it with something greener, brighter and lighter. When I think about associations - old one is oilier, translucent liquid in gold tone, new one is like translucent pale green glass, sun shines through it and you can see bright yellow.. so the feeling is like the new one is a little cleaner, tidier, not so sweet, which I like. And if we compare guccy guilty girls - for original girl/woman a lot of happens in her life, she enjoys it and she likes to be everywhere. She is clever, likes culture venues, she also likes to have a good party with a lot of drinks and dances till morning, she goes to dates, foodie etc... quite vivid. The new one also has everything happening in her life, but she is thinking more in advance and she cares for herself, she makes it happen the way it's good for her. So a little bit calmer, more in harmony, maybe little more minimalistic and eats healthier..

For both perfumes I see no age limit.

After some hours 2019 version is less sticky and more powdery than intense version, fades gracefully. But if you overspray you can catch detergant vibe.

In the end I can say, that after a day I fell in love with new EDP more and more. I like that it wraps you in a soft airy, but not sugary and sticky cloud. I thought that I would miss original guilty's DNA, but after a while compared with new one it feels overwhelming in some way.

Guccy Guilty 2019 edp Its a little greener, airier and sunnier, less sweet, but has the same idea underneatg. It's more modern but in a good way. Longetivity is somewhat the same for both. :))

I came across this perfume at Sephora and remember falling in love with it immediately. After smelling several perfumes from the Gucci Bloom and Tom Ford ranges, I felt that Gucci Guilty pour femme stood out as feminine, light, powdery and elegant. In my opinion, this is the type of scent that does not perform like a typical perfume with monstrous sillage. Instead, it wears close to the body despite being long-lasting. At first spray, it is a sweet floral that quickly develops into a slightly spicy mildly fruity concoction. The dry down smells a little bit like baby powder, mild soapiness and of course, sweet florals. It is absolutely beautiful. This is a crowd pleasing scent that is appropriate for the workplace but also for date night. For this reason, I think Gucci Guilty Pour Femme could easily be adopted as a signature scent that is elegant and timeless. Needless to say, I purchased this fragrance immediately.

emma__lisa

I have to be honest and say that I actually prefer this one over the original Gucci Guilty. Maybe it's because I love powdery floral scents. I love the manderin and red pepper opening followed by sweet violets and lilac. It's classy and has a vintage vibe which makes me feel nostalgic. My girlfiend loves this scent which is another pro. To be fair I did expect something more 'Guilty', but i like this nevertheless.

ryanhuynh

Smelled it today at Gucci counter, it reminded me about Chloe Love - a nice powdery scent was discontinued by Coty.
Gucci Guilty EDP is too generic, quite pricey and not worth money at all

delightme5

Lilac powdwery, wet/dry pressed compact face powder. Reminiscent of an old world. Some may even say it is old like perfume - something sitting on an old style dresser. I dont care, i like it. But dont expect a bomb.
Either way, it is nude like - And it has a kind of musky soft spicy nude allure, (keep thinking lilac too). Its not an overtly "sexy" perfume. Its more like - im nude so come in closer and smell the sweet spice of my skin.
Sadly, I find it performs well on a card and not so much on my skin - its like its kind of there but not ?
Perhaps it is one of those invisible under the radar penetrators, that softly projects..
You will be Guilty ! .. Innocent but GUILTY ! - only for the wicked fun this suggests and should get you into.

Jana711xx

With the exception of Delina Exclusif this is my favourite perfume that has come on the market in the last few years. I love the loud opening note that smells to me like bitter cherries, I think it is a mix of the pink pepper and germanium, whatever it is it’s lovely and so is the dry down

Tigerlillian

This signora is an underrated beauty. GGPF has some of the original Guilty DNA, but this flat passport-like bottle takes you on a fresh journey through the collection. Along with shades of lilac and violet, I also detect some heliotrope and almond nuances (similar to the texture found in Alien), powdery softness and clean soapy musk. A little sweet mandarin offers sparkle to the warm base.

It's light, elegant and clean. If being addicted to this scent is wrong, then I'm Guilty!

kml24

I really love the Guilty EDP. I never really tried the earlier EDT so I can't compare, but this has a nice opening that is bright but not too citrusy. The main notes aren't necessarily clear on paper but this is not A Rose Perfume with some backup singers, it's a floral perfume that might have some rose in it, which I really appreciate. It's a really nice blend. I'm not sure I actually know what geranium alone smells like but I think I like it. It doesn't have a distinctive lilac like a soliflore but you can tell it's in there. The drydown is a really nice warm, sweetish patchouli that lingers a long time on my skin. It wears really well all fall/winter/spring so far, feels beautiful, and is a nice alternative to powerhouse white flowers or pure rose for when you still want a floral not fruity or tea or musk.

codymarieb

Blind buy fail. If anyone wants to buy or swap with me let me know. This is a creamy musky floral that is so light and inoffensive I can hardly tell I’m wearing anything. It’s not a bad scent, if you could actually smell it.

Rosemary14

I just have to admit that I’m just so into this fragrance. It’s so creamy, musky, light lilac floral with an elegance to it. It’s clean, fresh, and subtle which I like sometimes and over the top other times. It’s not overly floral but I love how rich but creamy this is. It’s warm and effortlessly sensual. I love it. Lilac can be intense but this isn’t at all. I have this and the Edt and they smell almost identical. I prefer the Edp because it lasts longer and is a little bit stronger but it still smells just like the Edt. It’s so good I can’t stop smelling it. It’s very office or anywhere friendly and it would make a great signature fragrance.

pip41uk

This starts off on me very fresh and sweet and then turns into something that smells like expensive soap. I'm not usually a fan of soapy perfumes but this is the right kind of soapy. I don't know what it is about this perfume but I just can't get enough of it. Wearing it I suddenly see myself in a whole different way. I feel confident, sophisticated, sexy even. I honestly have no idea why people are saying it's masculine. On me it feels feminine and then some. It isn't the strongest perfume but it's adequate in that respect. Usually I have to spray twice if I want it to last all day. Seems to cling to clothes for ages though. Sex in a bottle. I'm definitely buying it.

phrogfrau

I tried this on a whim at sephora and was taken by surprise at how elegant and lovely this is! Very classy, sophisticated, sexy, alluring stuff. Even my husband deemed it "Fantastic" which is high praise coming from him! It has a low sillage but extreme longevity - I can still smell it with my nose to my arm at 15 hours!

Astara_Elaria

Elegant, creamy-powdery and classy. The nuances differ with temperature, as a reviewer below already has mentioned.
Winter test: sparkling, but elegant beginning (mandarin, bergamotte), distinct flowers and soapy woody (Patchouli)musky drydown. I think that part may seem a bit masculine to some; for me it seems just classic and mature (the good kind of being mature).
Spring test: yummy sweet mandarin opening, mingled with lilac and sweet violets, bit candy like due to a more enveloping and warmer ambernote. Not so much Patchouli, stronger and longer lasting heartnotes.
Both experiences: an updated, even upgrated version of the original.
Personal taste: I like the less sweet experience in winter more, but the springtime sensation is also alluring.
My final vote: underrated.

Vikki1985

This is a really lovely scent, if you like makeup, powdery type smells you'll probably like this, this isnt the standard makeup scent but it gives me the same sort of vibe. Very soft violet, lilac rose powdery scent with a twist - it's got a slight warmth to it and at times it smells like sweets...I cant put my finger on which ones persay but like a gummy sweet, however it isnt juvenile, this is one classy mama and a great mix of modern and vintage, this is extremely feminine. The only negative about this scent is if I wear it too much it doesnt smell the same and I lose interest in it, it kind of becomes very nondescript, but then if I stop wearing it for a while and then wear it again it smells just as beautiful as it did with the first few wears, it's really wierd, I've never had a perfume that does this...either way its beautiful

catmeow

The description 'dirty floral' makes most sense to me, because the florals are there, but somehow distorted. I love the scent of lilac so much, but this is more like a lilac bush trapped under a thick layer of dry bergamot and powdery violets.

My boyfriend said it's too sweet, but it's not to my nose.. quite the opposite, just very dark, maybe bittersweet? So the sample I got left me a little indecisive. I don't hate it and I understand why many people may love it, I guess this just isn't for me.

auroramaria

Gucci Guilty Love has just come out with a wonderful set of notes and a beautiful peach coloured bottle

auroramaria

This is truly a more intense vetsion of the EDT but with added powderiness and sweetness.Sillage and longevity both average somehow more suitable for daywear and cool temperature. It smells great and I do not think it got the attention it deserves.

dzingunyte

second review: in summer time this wears totally differently than now, when temperatures dropped below zero. now its very intense, bright and a bit overwhelming.though in summer time it was so juicy and sparkly on my skin,i was spraying a lot,now 2 small spritzes and thats more than enough. this temperature thing makes sense.totally.

Devved

I love the intense version of Gucci Guilty. However, this is a floral , warm, sexy and sophisticated smell. With this one after an hour the mandarin/orange note dominates everything else. It's not as long wearing, dark and powerful as the intense version obviously. Expected something more from this one. Would be great for Christmas or New Year's as it has a festive atmosphere due to the mandarin.

s.pellegrino

Wore a tester for the past week. On the one hand, this smells v. good - it is pleasant, rich, it smells expensive and it has presence without being obnoxious. This is what made me love it at first. On the other hand, it doesn't smell really original or specific to me now that I've worn it for a longer period. It is not quite generic but it does smells a bit like a perfume store, it smells like the idea of perfume. In the very best way possible, don't get me wrong, but still; Gucci Guilty doesn't seem to have a very strong identity to me. Nevertheless charming, and I find the advertising for this absolutely delicious. May still purchase a small bottle if I ever come across a good deal.

01/21 I still think it's not super interesting but I love it anyway! The lilac is delightful, warm and elegant. Sometimes you need a scent like that, and I think I wear this one well. Bought 30 ml today.

Сияна.Славчева

Well blended fragrance that evokes class and confidence. It’s the best from this line. Warm, powdery, versatile and expensive smelling.

Good for the workplace. Would be great for all seasons. Sillage is soft/moderate, longevity good.

alexisdavid1892

I was gifted with the original Gucci Guilty EDT years ago and was madly in love with it eventhough it doesn't last long on my skin. I did try to repurchase it earlier this year however it doesn't sit with my skin like how it used to be. This, however, performs a million times better! It is the EDT but way waaaay better. Tested it on the counter this afternoon. 1 spray on my arm, and until now, 6hours and a bath later, I can still smell it (though it's now faint since I took a bath) the opening is the same to me however the dry down is much deeper (maybe even to deep so I think 1 to 2 sprays is enough) Sillage is soft for 1 spray but as long as I can smell it on myself, I'm good. I want to purchase the full bottle.

dzingunyte

Its similar, but also different from original Guilty. I liked this perfume from the first time ive tried. Elegant, not cheaply sweet, sophisticated perfume. Especially nice, when put a little bit on the hair.

stephanieklein

Violets so sweet (in a great way) that they smell like peach gummy rings! Chewy open, nothing like the EDT!

shushkin

One gorgeous floral with a sweet backdrop. The lilac is evident but also sweetness from the orange and amber. A little kick from the pepper and violet. The pepper gets a little stronger with time but otherwise there is not much development.
It's such a lovely sweet floral that I don't mind at all.
My only disappointment is the longevity is poor but the sillage is moderate in a warm room.

flyergirl❤️perfumes

@Ulusia you’re not alone..I’ve same opinions about that.I do like this fragrance at first sniff, thought that what a feminine & elegant scent is that..But I believe that positive words evokes positive feeling at least for me.But even that it still has a chance to buy;)

dglightblue

One of these things is not like the other one.....

The edp in the ‘absolu like’ bottle, is not like the guilty edt in the rounded squared bottle.

This starts bright floral, white floral but .. bright, it’s a touch dirty like the other edt, but only slightly, this has stems in it with the flowers without being green. Plus a little like the smell if you nick the skin of an orange thrown in too.
This isn’t strong, I suppose i it catches your clothes it will last a bit longer. I had an hour now it’s a skin scent. This is like the dry version of guilty and without the Smokey dirty white floral feel.

This is not an amped up version of the edt, this is a different scent, with a different feel. Why Gucci? Stop messing around.
I should say that I do like the fragrance, and it’s the wee purple flowers that make the dryness. I’ve just washed my hands with some warm water and it’s made this pop out a bit more, I love the layer of smell under the dry layer. But I still want to point out to people that this is not the same as the edt the shop assistant said it was the edp version, pretty much the same scent, I don’t think so

vintage_scent

I love this! Like the original but better...Powdery soft spicy purple flowers...

Nataja

This is soooo GOOD! Very elegant and expensive smelling! Also lasted on me a good 12 hours. Perfect timing for spring and the warmer months...

AmoreProfumi

Very much similar to the EDT..only I find this a slightly spicier..& dare I say slightly dirtier (in a good way lol)..i.e. this is like Guilty edt meets Chloe's Nomade..if that makes sense..it smells sophisticated & expensive.. a scent for a confidant classy (lady of business) who enjoys a nice boldness. It has a nice powdery touch & a scent you'll enjoy catching subtle wafts of. All in all really nice scent I enjoyed the original & this was no exception. Have to say if you liked the original EDT but longed for an EDP to deff. go for this one, I personally enjoy this more & would choose this over the edt. :)

This was a love for me. I was worried the floral notes in this, I am not a floral person. I found however this is a musky scent. Smelling it on paper does not do it justice. You must try it on your skin. I found it addictive.

Sniffing this fragrance was a milestone for me. For one, it reminded me of the first perfume I ever fell in love with - Bvlgari BLV, minus the sharp, throat-tickling ginger notes. Second, I've only just got back into collecting perfume and was so puzzled as to why some fragrances, especially florals, just make me nauseous and give me a headache. But after testing this and falling in love with it, (alongside a glorious shopping experience at the Gucci counter of a department store in Singapore), I came to understand that I can't deal with white florals, only purple ones. It's a real revelation for me! I adore this scent. It's not utterly feminine, there is a hint of something unisex there that makes it all the more lovely for me. It sprays out strong and loud but settles onto skin pretty nicely after a half hour. Longevity is not fantastic, I must admit, but it performs well in hot weather and I can use it in the day. My curiosity has been piqued and I will explore all the other fragrances in the Guilty line.

raiza1990

Soft, clean and powdery. Not exactly my cup of tea, but i can not say that i dislike it. It is discreet, feminine, comforting. It’s the best from this line.
I imagine an elegant and traditionally feminine woman wearing it. Most likely an introvert.
I think it is appropriate for all occasions, maybe even for a date. It has something to it that i can not describe. It isn’t sexy, but it somehow alluring. Could easily be someone’s signature.
It projects softly for the first minutes and then turns into a skin scent. Longevity is 3 hours and counting.
Final note: 7/10

This should be right up my alley, but weirdly it’s not. In fact it’s so nondescript, I don’t even know how to begin describing it. Okay, so it starts as a powdery floral (lilac+violet), but only for the first half an hour; then it turns herbal and sweet-ambery, courtesy of orange, patchouli and amber. I feel that the scent is not given enough time to develop before this cloying sugared patchouli takes over. It reminds me of Ayurveda by Tesori d’Oriente - a scent that costs 5€... That’s exactly how much the newest Guilty is worth.

DarlingNikki

Man, if this didn't have violet it would be a winner for me! It's so frustrating when you figure out what notes you don't like and designers seem to use them all the time in fragrances you want to try, LOL!

elmccullar

I love the opening of this one! I smell berries, violets and powder. After about 10 minutes, sadly, this just turns bad on my skin, almost sour. I adore Love Chloe Intense (it's my signature), and I smell a faint similarity in the beginning, but they are definitely not the same. The original Guilty is much nicer on me.

Interestingly, the reviews are all over the place on that one...I don't find it boozy, nor masculine, I run if a scent is remotely unisex !! This is basically a well balanced creamy perfume, I don't find it exactly like the original, I much prefer this version, but they aren't very different, it has no sharp edges, and the lilac is smooth and pretty...it is also kind of fresh, like the florals aren't overwhelming , it smells modern and definitely feminine.
Now it isn't powdery like Chloe Love, although they share a certain vibe...happy to own it, it is my favorite of the Guilty !

Benjamyn Blue

Stunning.
Creamy and powdery... Long lasting.

This is a hit with customers looking for an initially quite sweet and fresh fragrance with lasting power and a creamy drydown...

Want it to pop? Layer it with the men's Gucci guilty pour homme (original)

I do believe this is replacing the previous guilty range for women, as an updated, more current fragrance.

Delicious and I'm a massive fan.

While you're at it, layer the men's Gucci guilty absolute with Burberry her and you're in for an absolute treat....

This combo is my current fragrance ❤️

This smells nice but I prefer the original edt more because of the powdery lilac note . I am not a fan of Rose so much and as its not strong it does give it a vintage feel . So the commercial suits it well . It's definitely likeable and the bottle is nice but I will pass for now .

Gegauff

This doesn't mean that the "normal" Guilty will be discontinued, does it?

I've noticed here comparison to Chloe Love Intense in "This perfume reminds me of". That alone was a good reason to check it out. All three Chloe Love are one of dearest in my collection. Especially Love Florale and Intense. Unfortunately there is nothing similar between them. That said I have to add, that similarities weren't of course the most important factor. I also wanted to have this new baby for its own reasons, like great bottle, Gucci house, cool advertisement etc. But it didn't happen. The smell itself, although quite nice at the beginning, later turns up on me into sharp lilac mixed with some soap notes. Don't get me wrong. I do love soap, clean feeling in perfumes. If I didn't I wouldn't be a fan of Chloe Love Florale in the first place. But here the soap is unbearable to me. Too much of everything. The only good thing I can say about this new Gucci release is its longevity. It stays literally all day long on me. Well...in that case...unfortunately.

I<3Perfume

You know these are literally the exact same notes as the old Eau De Parfum. Literally look it up all they do is just ad new names in front to make it seen different but it's The Exact Same Notes! It's just new packaging and advertising.

Zoya

Finally Lana Del Rey! Girl is looking HOT in the ad! Cant wait to try it, notes seem classy. Hope the longevity and sillage will be good.
I really hope Lana will have her own fragrance one day.

Am I the only one who is put off by negative words like guilty, envy, madness, egoist, etc. in the names of perfumes?
I prefer more positive ones, such as: Eau des Merveilles, Euphoria...

rola.asad

First, let's take a second to appreciate the gorgeousness of the bottle!!! the bottle even looks better in reality,, packing:10/10.

The scent: it's indeed comparable to Gucci guilty intense, but more powdery; comparing it with Gucci guilty Absolute
they have nothing to share at all!!

The first stage: lilac and pink pepper, in the dry down the scent becomes more powdery and musky, even though musk is not included in the notes, I guess I get this feeling from the patchouli; for amber I can't feel it at all, the bergamot I can get a hint of it when the scent dries down, but I guess what really gives the scent that crispy feeling is the mandarin orange that shows up very well and adds a very pleasant twist, preventing the scent from being so powdery which might irritate some people!

All in all, I would classify the scent as a powdery sweet with a crispy edge; I find it classy and modern, and suits women +25.
So glad to have it in my collection 8.5/10.

AllHalliwellsEve

OMG!!! I think I'm more excited about Lana Del Rey than the perfume, lol... but I can't wait to try it! I am desperately waiting for the day that she releases her very own perfume ;)

MeThePerson

I’m personally glad they have bought back the edp of Guilty, I was never a fan of the original edt’s in either the women’s or the men’s... I found them a bit bland and ineffectual as wearable fragrances, both requiring heavy use and re-application throughout the day as they were so light.
This(and i’m assuming it is the original edp formula) has extra body and although still a delicate feminine breeze of a fragrance, will linger through the day in a much more respectable manner.
Well worth switching up to if you are still attached to the original edt.

Regarding the packaging change, I hope this means they may just discontinue the original edt. I don’t find the re-packaging confusing as it makes more sense to unify the range under one recognisable bottle especially as the original edt women’s is virtually alienated by the introduction of the Absolute range.

Whit

Ok, so I finally got to sample this today. First off, it's definitely an amplified version of the original Guilty, which isn't a bad thing.

The orange is very intense to me and stays even throughout the dry down. The patchouli, lilac and amber are stronger in this composition as well, giving it an almost boozy quality. The bergamot and geranium are barely noticeable to my nose and I get slight pink pepper nuances.

Overall, I think I like this one better than the original Guilty; it's much longer lasting on me vs the EDT. Good job on the EDP, Gucci!

Benjamyn Blue

Very masculine. Reminds me of a greener version of Guilty for men and the original Gucci Guilty for women combined.

Disappointed as I believed it to be a brand new product

sarah.brooks

Got a sample of this parfum today..I must say it's very nice I will buy a full bottle..but it's reminds me of love Chloe but this is better way more softer and not as sharp very feminine great job Gucci..this is very nice

Victoria Regia

This is availabe at Lord & Taylor at the King of Prussia mall. It's a floral that quickly dries into a spicy-woody scent. Smells like old school aftershave, very piercing and masculine. Not for me.

jellybeantree

I guess they are discontinuing the original edt .... My beloved edt . This is sad to me . I'm going to try it and hope it smells like the edt only longer lasting . Its on my wish list for 2019!

I do prefer the bottle of the edt.

Whit

From what I've gathered, this is supposed to be an amplified version of the original. Notes are as follows:

Top: Mandora, Bergamot and Pink Pepper

Heart: Lilac, Rose, Violet and Geranium

Base: Patchouli and Amber

Source: Belk.com

sarah.brooks

Can't wait to smell this new one.. The notes are different saw it was available..

mshilov

Even if I love Gucci Guilty Absolute for Men, this new women's edition in a men's range bottle is rather confusing - does it mean that Gucci Guilty for her from 2010 is gone? Aren't there too many Guilty pleasures - even for Gucci?

jellybeantree

I hope they release the notes soon .
