Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Acqua di Gio was launched in 1995. The nose behind this fragrance is Edouard Fléchier. Top notes are Peony, Musk Vodka, Pineapple, Lemon, Peach, Banana Leaf and Violet; middle notes are Lily-of-the-Valley, Lily, Hiacynth, Jasmine, Freesia, Calone, Ylang-Ylang and Rose; base notes are Musk, Cedar, Sandalwood, Amber and Styrax.

This fragrance was inspired by Giorgio Armani’s’ holiday spent on the isle of Pantelleria. The scent of lazy summer days and freedom. Acqua di Gio achieved its high-quality status by perfectly harmonizing aquatic notes with sweet and fruity notes of muscat grapes from Pantelleria along with blending them successfully with the freshness of pineapple and citrus notes. Watermelon blends nicely with the notes of freesia, hyacinth and ylang-ylang. The warm, woody and musky base note remind of the Mediterranean warm temperament. This fragrance was created in 1995.

This was my first real perfume in the 1990s. It was a very expensive thing for me and I used it sparingly, I did not have a habit of using perfume daily, and now I still have the bottle with 1/4 left in it. It smells exactly like I remember it - has not turned. It is a smooth, breezy floral-green scent, slightly aquatic, feels fresh, clean and very feminine. It is an amazing scent, I still think so. However, it triggers powerful memories, I am happy that times have changed. Late 1990s were exciting, but also difficult times for me. So I predict that the rest of the bottle will last me another 30 years :)

This perfume is great for layering with sweeter fragrances, and for cold windy nights, for work or for very boss lady. However it was a gift from my bro to my mom.
But I use to wear it for work back when I was 22 y/o.
It is a little sour and you can feel that musk vodka mixed with very white floral, it is interesting and very perfumey, it is not sugary.
This perfume doesn’t smell cheap, You may like it if u enjoy very sexy sea by Victoria’s Secret.
I used to wear it by itself no layering and I’ve had the same bottle since 2018-2019, I feel it’s gotten stronger but it doesn’t smell bad. Nowadays I can only wear it by layering scents but yeah, I don’t know if I recommend it I’m barely starting in the fragrance world ✨
I feel this fragrance could be unisex absolutely yes

This is fresh and I get the accords, but there's some type of green stink to it that just puts me off entirely.

phufem

There's some spicy note in there which i dislike. It's a very green perfume. Very fresh and the opposite of cloying. I enjoy it, but it's not my favourite.

xAsafi

I gotta admit, I didn't actually expect to like this perfume that much.

It's very green, very floral and pretty intense. But to my surprise I grew to really appreciate it. It reminds me of the smell of a flower shop - of the heavy, heady floral scent that hits you when you enter that place. I would argue that I almost detect more greenery than flowers though, if that makes sense? Like, imagine the scent of wet leaves - that's what this perfume makes me think of in the first seconds after applying. Then it turns into a more floral, softer scent but not overly sweet, like a semi-sweet wine. I wouldn't exactly call it a fresh fragrance as it's in the end pretty intense.

Undoubtedly a great perfume.

I was excited to see what this smelled like, since I love the fresh scent of its companion acqua di gio for men. Maybe its because I did not see the scent profile of vodka when I ordered it, but one morning I put it on on accident thinking it was the mens version and it immediatley stunk. I tried to wait and see if it would die down into a different scent I would like but it continued to smell sharp like cleaning solution with a light floral scent mixed in with it. Maybe I am biased since I really like its companion cologne, but I would not buy this again.

magred

makes absolutely no sense as a companion to the acqua di dio cologne, the current acqua di gioia does a much better job of that. just pure floral bomb. not for me.

So vibrant!

I have new 100 ml bottle from 2009. in EU. If somebody want it send me a message.

I had this in the late 90s, moved 10 times since and never took it with me. Recently bought a sample of it and immediately reminded me of why I loved it in the 90s. It's a lovely scent to me - clean and soapy at first, drying down to a beautiful floral calone scent that lasts for ages. I usually love calone and aquatic scents. This is like that, but with a strong floral accent. Jasmine and patchouli are noticeable for me, though not in a horrible way. Usually these 2 floral scents can be hit and miss with me - sometimes I think they're smelly, but in this perfume, they are very pleasant and blended well with the other scent elements. I don't really detect much fruitiness in this. On me it's mainly floral and calone.

My first perfume. Love Love

After years of ignoring my fragrance collection, I am returning to my perfume obsession. Aqua di Gio is probably the oldest bottle in my collection. Batch code indicates 2005. Smell is still as I remember it. Didn’t change despite of being 18 years old! It’s a bit of cucumber, fresh, but at the same time sweet, fruity and floral. It resembles the smell of a beach by the Baltic Sea in my hometown. I don’t know if it’s love or sentimentality, but I’m going to use it more frequently.

Kinga_

Aqua di Gio is a fresh white floral perfume with a few fruity accords.

The most dominant notes are violet, peony, lily, and ylang-ylang. It has one pungent note that makes the scent vintage and reminds me of mothballs.

It is very similar to other fresh white florals from the 90s, doesn't do much for me.

lyka

Glyph

I had meant to buy the masculine version of this, but accidentally ordered the feminine; I decided to try it anyway. You can see what an enormous influence this had on other fragrances at the turn of the millennium. This gives the overwhelming sense of femininity and cleanness--it's like a basket of fruit and flowers smelled while near the sea, with lilies of the valley, peony, and musk predominating. It's almost impossible to dislike, though so many other products (not just fragrances, but candles and shampoos) seem to have imitated this in its wake that it's almost too familiar.

Xela_529

Wow, what a stunner! This is a classic fragrance that truly stood the test of time. This is WAY better than Armani’s ‘modern’ sister, Acqua Di Gioia.

The opening is a little challenging, I get a strong whiff of vodka, rose, and peach… which causes a strong animalic effect. But after about 10-15 min the magic happens, and wow! I was blown away by the dry down. The banana leaf plays off the pineapple & calone, and the florals sing in harmony; they aren’t screechy at all (which I find a lot of vintage florals are).

Check this one out, she’s a beautiful aquatic, slightly tropical floral. Gorgeous! 10/10.

cmh9217

This juice (along with RL Safari) were my signature scents in the mid ‘90’s…I had the big bottles of both and wore the hell outta them. I’d like to think that my smellmemory is still intact, BUT….

I hadn’t smelled Gio in probably 23 years, and thanks to my totally random new obsession in revisiting all of my old Fav’s, I recently acquired a supposedly vintage mini of this. In the opening, it was somewhat familiar, but much sharper and more floral than I recalled. After several minutes, I began to finally get a hint of the banana leaf, but the sharpness and florals were still front and center with none of the fresh and acquatic qualities that I remember about it.

Perhaps my skin chemistry has changed or maybe I received a reformulated version, because this just doesn’t do it for me anymore and that makes me sad!

Edit 6/21/23:
I tried it again last night after determining that my mini is a batch from 1999 (Batch Code: UT267). We have had a bit of a cold spell in the weather for the better part of a week in the PNW, much cooler than the 90 degree weather we were having when I received this mini and tried it then. When I put some on last night, it smelled much different, much more like I remembered it in the ‘90’s. Kinda weird that it performs better for me when the weather is cooler vs warmer considering that it is a summer type scent. 🤔

As for longevity…hmmm…I’m thinking that I had almost immediately gone nose blind because what I could still smell was very faint unless I put my nose to my skin and the sweatshirt that I had put it on. And that was only 10 min or so after applying. Guess I’ll have to check the sweatshirt tomorrow and see if it is still present. Granted, I did only use a few dabs from the mini splash bottle. I’m sure there is probably a difference dabbing vs a spray (which was what I was familiar with due to having a bottle of this back in the day). All in all I’m happy that I decided to try it again and that I was able to capture the loveliness that I had remembered about it, if only briefly.

Miss_Nathalie

This one was my biggest love of the 90's. That and l'eau d'Issey.

Manjusaka

Jordan 99

I had this one in 90s when I was teenager, I think it was my first perfume. Then I got it as a gift from husband around 2010 and didn’t love it as much as at first time. Still imo the best green aquatic scent up there, is very feminine ( some green aquatics are unisex not this one). Very well balanced and notes perfectly blended, very smooth well made. I grow out of these fresh green scents, but for me the best one from this category.

fragrance_girl

This scent stood the test of time surprisingly well. It's a beautiful soft, fresh, clean, aquatic scent. Likeable and versatile. Perfect for warmer days. It doesn't feel dated at all.
I came across it at an airport recently, and I'm planning to get a bottle.

sopelka

AdG was my first fancy fragrance that I got when I landed my first job in the 90s. It is very elegant and office appropriate, or so I thought until a guy at a disco told me that my perfume “smells like a *woman*” and rolled his eyes… I think it means he found it sexy??? 😂 Anyway, what I am trying to say is that I agree with @piahellgren’s “sexy freshie” assessment.

piahellgren

Oh, this one is special! Sooo far from being merely ok or good. This bright white floral greeness smells like nothing else. Peony, peach, violet, jasmin, and ylang- yland stands out at first. After a while it becomes musiker and more jasminey and clean woody. Very soapy yet interestingly spicy and Lily of the valley only helps with the greeness, but never gets sour. If there ever was one sexy freshie this is it.

hotbaby1

Ok fragrance for summer. The men one is absolutely stunning, the female was nice and fresh, nothing special.

MichelleAntonia

Quintessential 90's summer. If you remember it, you know. If you don't, trust me, this is one of the most 90's things you'll ever smell.

I got a sample of what is likely the most recent version, and I can't say if it's unchanged, but it is very much like I remember it. Very clean (I actually hate when people use that term, it's so meaningless and overused, but I can't avoid it here!). Smells very much in the vein of Giorgio Aire, except way less heavy on the white florals. That's a huge 90's summer one too.

Smells very much like the original Gio too. But that's late summer/fall, this is absolutely summer and nothing else.

LizDee007

This is a nice clean floral fragrance that’s perfect for warm weather. I mostly get jasmine and musk, but it’s not so overpowering. Nice office and after work to evening. This was a blind buy for me so I’m not disappointed but not impressed. I will reach for this from time to time because it’s a pretty basic scent.

eau de cocoa butter

Love love love! I was hosting an event when a woman walked into the room smelling absolutely ethereal. I took a break and I went to find her to ask what she was wearing. It was heavenly and clean and slightly fruity. She looked a little taken aback (because we weren’t standing that close when I smelled it) but she told me it was Acqua di Gio for women. I thanked her profusely and went to go find it. I mistakenly purchased Acqua di Gioia which I like a lot but it wasn’t this. I thought my nose was broken because the scent wasn’t the same until I spotted this! On first spray I knew this was the right one and I am sooooo happy to have this in my collection. I hope this is never discontinued, it is the definition of oldie but goodie.

cecfor

This is me in summer. It has been with me since the 90-ies. It is a fresh and cold floral with some aquatic side to it. It is rather long lasting, at least 6 hrs. I think it is perfect for a casual summer outfit for example jeans or jeans shorts, tee and sandals, often worn by me in summer. Effortless, relaxed and happy. I suddenly got worried to be without it and ordered a backup, my first backup ever.

crea11

Wow, am I smelling the same frag as everybody else? This smells so much like Marc Jacobs Signature to me, thankfully this is much more affordable and accessible. This is a green, creamy ylang ylang scent to my nose. It smells perfect for a tropical, summer vacation!

SissySuzanne

It smells like envelopes. I oddly like it, and think it's an enjoyable, comforting scent.

KabukiSummer

Springtime in a bottle. On opening the bottle it smells like a floral flavored vodka, On the skin it opens with the most obnoxious lemon violet smell, but dries down quickly to the most beautiful springtime garden scent that has some staying power. It doesn't immediately turn into its base notes, which are overall on the milder side, and I truly appreciate that. I love that it remains a natural smelling floral, I believe it's the citrus that helps it be more authentic and less chemical. Overall, I feel this is a very pleasant springtime scent that I would wear anywhere from morning to afternoon.

LindaL100

I have a tiny bottle of this Acqua di Gio for women that was part of a mini set from Armani that I bought a while ago, this is a really nice perfume, I like the combination of all the different floral notes with a hint of freshness. It has a nice refreshing and clean smell, it's a bit on the lighter side and the smell is not too overpowering or intense so it's suitable for everyday wear, but I would not recommend wearing this regularly considering its very expensive. This is definitely more fresh and less sweet compared to the 'Acqua di Gioia' for women which is more fruitier & sweeter, while I do like this Gio for women perfume, but overall I still prefer the Acqua di Gioia, I think the Gioia is a much nicer perfume and is more intense with better longevity on my skin. However I will say that I like this Gio for women more than the Gio for men, this women's version is a bit stronger and more layered compared to the men's version, I find the men's Gio to be very basic and weak.

Dhayana

White flowers with some fresh cut lawn and a splash of vodka. Super disappointed, really thought I would love it acording to the notes. It's too sharp and green for my liking. I love lily and lily of the valley but in this concoction it's a punch in the face.

skiergirl24

I wore this as a teenager and into my early 20s. Clean and fresh. Reminds me of lazy summer days, windblown hair, salty beach air. Just a great fragrance.

vebrian

anyone here still have this perfume and want to sell it? Plese let me know. Thanks.

pushya_moon

This perfume is what i imagine a true bombshell to smell like. The sweet vodka musk is gorgeous, it starts clean and sophisticated, and in the dry down it's pure summer joy.

Pusur

Many years ago my friend let me spray my sweatshirt with this one. I didn't wash my sweatshirt long time because I loved the scent so much. Some years later as a young woman I purchased perfume myself. Last year I bought it again on the nett. It is exactly how I remember it. The only difference is that I see how much perfumes changed during like 25 years. I feel like perfumes made some time ago had a soul, complexity... Don't misunderstand me, there are planty of good scents on the market but... I dont know sometimes it feels like the story behind the perfume is better and bigger then a perfume itself. Anyway this one is one of my favourites forever.

vemchale

It smells spicier than I expected, but anyway. Kind of cute.

Burcu Günan

My first perfume and also my signature perfume. I remember when I first have it 25 years ago in Paris. The summer and the sea in a bottle I have absolutely been in love with this perfume since then.

Cess268

This is REALLY soapy. I'm not getting any of the fruits described almost wondering if I got a DUPE or if they reformulated it. I have a mini and my big bottle doesn't smell like it. It is still a pretty scent, but as stated I get mostly florals. The one I have is good for a warm spring /summer day.

Bouquet Bleu

A timeless beauty of freshness, a clean scent. It is a bit dry because if violets and musk, I don't feel it aquatic (aqua name and beach associations) but it is definitely fresh. I also get LOTV, musk, freesia, cedar, jasmine. Thankfully the fruity notes are barely there.
I remember sniffing it in my teens and early 20s and never getting it because it was pricey for me but secretly wishing for it as an everyday scent (and the bottle was somewhat too sober and off putting). Finally I got it, almost 20 years later! It is nice to spend on a clean freshie too, it makes you feel so put up together even if you are just staying at home.

PS: reminds me a lot of Cerruti 1881 but Aqua is greener.

Madnanavej

I tried this and was expecting something quite different based on the accords. Blindboughtjunkie below describes it pretty well. A blast of florals and freshness at the start. But the florals are not the usual, instead it has a different range of florals (best way I can explain it), so smells different compared to most florals. It’s pretty much a linear scent which remains the same on dry down. Suitable for summer, warm climate (I’m from Singapore).

blindboughtjunkie

OOH, was what I immediately reacted with upon smelling this on my arm. Opening smells exactly, exactly, exactly like a fresh-cut flower bouquet. Heady, piercing, potent, this is not for the faint of heart. There is no sweetness or muskiness to soften the blow of this baby, especially at the start -- major flower blast is what you get. I would call for help if I smelled this in colder months, but in spring and summer, this blooms like nothing else. This would be a fantastic unisex choice: daytime for women, nighttime for men (just the vibe I get). It's bold, yet sophisticated. It's pretty distinct relative to most of the perfumes today. You would stand out! For me though, I can't smell like a fresh bouquet all day or I'd have a major headache.

juksi

This is one of my faves, I loved it on my aunt when I was a child and got one for myself. I'm from Srilanka, so hot and humid all year round, I put this on and feel like I'm in a bathtub having a nice, refreshing juice.
I love overdoing it with this one because I cannot get enough of it. Sadly it isn't available everywhere like the new acqua di gio, but this oldie is much, much better. I've seen it so far only at the Bandaranaike airport duty free.

Azisai-

Wow, the notes look complicated but they're a lot simpler on my skin.

I really like this, it's a quick refreshing fragrance that is ideal for extremely hot weather, or just a warm gust of wind. While I'm not sure what vodka musk is supposed to smell like, this smells like it. Just really clear and pure, with the peony being prevalent along with some lily and jasmine. It's not sharp at all, unless you wear it in really cold temps. All of the floral notes are toned just right, so don't worry about the screeching effect that a lot of white-florals have. Moderate longevity and sillage makes it just right for spending a day out in the sun with a group of friends that get headaches from perfume.

While this does say "the 90's", it's not irrelevant. Pure summer in a bottle.

faustbanana

Man I used to hit this stuff hard in the mid-90s as a young teen. It was so clean and fresh, miles away from the Opium and Oscar de la Renta my mom preferred. I recently found a travel size on ebay and thought it would be fun to go on a trip down memory lane...

... but to my older nose, it's just OK. That could definitely have something to do with the bottle's age. The sharp vodka and pineapple notes jump out, and it's less green and humid than I remember. Kind of sweet and sharp and VERY 90s. Maybe it's just because I wore it at a young age, but it strikes me as immature and a little cheap, thin like a body spray from a mall store.

It's not terrible by any means. I could see it working nicely layered with something sweet and musky that would reduce its sharpness. But I can't see myself reaching for it on its own very often. C'est la vie!

Edit, June 2021: This works way better in the summer, especially humid, warm weather. Its thin astringency becomes an asset, something nice and airy to wear amid the thick atmosphere. Really glad to have a little bottle for this time of year.

perfumelovere

Loved acqua di gioia for the first few years until I was ready to move on to something else. This oldie as someone else commented smells like stale chemicals. If you like the original issey miyake and calvin klein escape you'll probably have an affinity for this one also. Interesting how perfumes from the 80's and 90's were made with like 20 different notes and filled up an entire room for days. Who wouldn't love that strength in our modern offerings especially for the price tags :-)

valevaleria

2021 and still is one of the best perfumes.

liaakili

This is one of my favourite perfume at all time, unfortunately, I can't find it in during my trip in some Asia, Middle East and European countries since long time ago. I tried the new version of Acqua di Gioia but it's not the same and disappointing.

The Complexity of the top note and middle note are amazing, this is definitely THE BEST fresh perfume for me. The longevity is solid rock, women and men always compliment me. Even my husband remember how he was in love with the scent from the moment we met 10 years ago. You just can't define and point one notes as its champion as all the notes complete one another perfectly.

To this date, I never find a head to head replacement for this. Whenever I travelling abroad I always try to find this in Sephora or Duty-Free but still can't find it, I will try again as salespersons I've met in some Dept Store and Duty-Free in Paris, Italy, Qatar and Singapore said that this perfume was still in their rack before my visit since it is reproduced with limited quantity.

GreatSwiftScent

I'm a man and love this one!
yes it's on the "feminine" side
but not too much

I am able to wear this with a white shirt, blazer, jeans and sneakers

great for outdoors
it's fresh
it's great for hot summer days/evenings

it's like a breath of fresh air
yes it's floral but airy and light

I go with 4 sprays (shirt, neck and wrists)
projection is just enough for me, a man (I don't want to leave a crazy trail wearing this but if you are close to me you can definitely smell this gem )

Gummybear002

All being said, a towering, flower bouquet in a fresh glass of chill water.

tandem_4x4

I can not believe it is 25 years old! This is the ultimate summer cooler.

lmwimsatt

Wow. It's funny how times, trends and technology, affect what we perceive as fresh. This doesnt smell fresh to me at all. It smells very chemical and stale. Now acqua di gioia is fresh!

GinCatsBooks

Where can I start with this one? I'm late to the Acqua Di Gio party, and did actually confuse Acqua Di Gioia for a rebottled version of this, Gioia and Gio both carry the same "humid" aquatic vibe, if you've ever been caught in a rain storm during the height of summer, you'll know what I mean, its a totally different feeling compared to the usual aquatic, in the sea type fragrances.

This actually smells totally different to how I imagined it to, I actually pictured a very sterile/vodka type scent with some sharp green nuances to it, akin to DKNY woman in the sky scraper bottle, but its actually not. Acqua Di Gio actually smells like sparkling, tangy fruit; sort of like a fruity shower gel or shampoo, there are some very prominent green notes though from the lily of the valley (which is probably what gives it a shower gel/clean quality), the banana leaf and the hyacinth. The vodka note adds a slight astringent/sterile undertone to this, but overall its a very easy going, sort of typical aquatic fruity floral from the 90's

I love this, I really wish Giorgio Armani kept this along side Aqua Di Gioia in the UK, they both have the same humid, clean aquatic vibe and they do have, to my nose at least, some similarities with the green notes and freshness, but I actually think Acqua Di Gio stands out a bit more. Another 100ml bottle is on order!

Kar1917

Bought this in 1995 on my holiday in Austria. I never cared for it much and it didnt't last long on my skin. Think when I use it now, I won't smell anything as my skin has changed and eats perfumes nowadays. But I do remember it was very fresh.

Nova_

So lovely and fresh. I wish there’s something similar to it that stays longer.

meliecat

A friend got this one on offer recently - she was looking for it everywhere and ended up picking it up at an airport - and she showed me what it`s like. Instantly it reminded me of Giorgio Beverly Hills Aire, except this one is not as heavy on the lily-of-the-valley note, and there is a proper kick of vodka - so I`ve learned - and also calone, a bit of peony and woods also, but yet I think the vodka and LOTV runs the show here. In the beginning it`s a bit too much even, but in the drydown all the pretty flowers come out as they should. It`s very fresh but yet feminine - typical summer fragrance. I personally prefer the Giorgio Beverly Hills take on this one, but this is also an interesting scent.

Sara2bluue

This perfume is a really great summer fragrance. It's very watery and the peony is well blended but it's not aquatic. It smells like pink and green in the same time. I would put the pineapple higher there. It gives this this really good sweetness without it being cloying. I recommend it for the summer time if u don't want to choke ppl. Longevity it OK I guess. After a while I can't smell it on me but ppl do. A compliment getter for me

perfumeninja

Acqua di Gio is such a beautiful cool fragrance for hot weather. It feels watery and refreshing but it isn't really an aquatic. It is a pretty floral with ylang ylang, hyacinth and freesia along with citrus and fruit notes. To me it smells like a less sweet version of a sweet pea fragrance.

Back in the 90's when Acqua di Gio first came out I was working for a small department store chain. It was a great exposure to every new fragrance that came along.

I remember one particular hot summer day in that midwestern town. We were standing at work discussing the day's tasks and in walked a fresh dressed staff member with her cute summer dress and she smelled like a fresh breeze of clean cool air. It was most welcoming during those dog days of oppressing summer heat. I had to ask what perfume she was wearing and her answer was Acqua di Gio. It really smelled like someone who just stepped out of a shower.

I can't even remember if I ever purchased it. I didn't really need to back then since everyone was welcomed and encouraged to wear the fragrances that the store carried. Perfume bliss.

Fast forward to present day. I now own a lovely bottle of Acqua di Gio and it's dated 2004 as per the batch code. It's the perfect scent for any hot day when you need a lifting of mood and spirit. I do get complimented when I wear it.

It is worth finding some of this classic and adding to your summer wardrobe of scents.

Edit: After wearing this in some of our hottest days of summer, I still smelled fresh and cool. Acqua di Gio is a much more interesting floral to me, a non-floral fragrance wearer, than many others I've ever tried. Love it!

meg0825

I finally added this 90's classic to my collection. I'm so glad I did. It's very pretty. Fresh, green, and white florals with aquatic fruity notes and muscat vodka. Cool and refreshing but also soft and semi-sweet. Perfect for summer. Lovely!

MixedTastes

I only learned to love this in 2019, believe it or not!

I would never have worn this when it came out. I’ve only recently started to appreciate these aquatic and fresh fragrances, and this one - although definitely reminiscent of the 90s - is fabulous.

Aquatic, white floral, sweet but still fresh and unisex. I get the lily, freesia, vodka and pineapple alongside strong aquatic, beach-pool vibes.

Hits the spot particularly at bedtime on warm nights.

raiza1990

To me, it is a mix between male cologne, deodorant and a cleaning product. Not my thing. The Acqua di Gioia line is better.

ptilda

Definitely a throwback!

I found this slightly sampled, mostly full bottle in a ripped up, dirty box at TJ Maxx a couple of years ago, and no price tag. Brought it up to the counter and they sold it to me for $18, I think. Well worth it!

But why in the world is melon not listed? This definitely has that melon aquatic note. I don't hate it, and it's such a fresh, cool scent, I can forgive the old-school aquatic vibe that was SO sexy and edgy round 'bout 1995! Funny how things change.

For some reason, I just don't get tired of this one. I wouldn't wear it every day, but in this nearly 100-degree Caribbean heat, this is just about as perfect as you can get!

Definitely another one that brings the memories when I wear it.

robin5

I have been wearing A.D.G. for years. It is the best scent ever for anytime wear. It has such lasting power. I haven't smelled anything like it. It's mostly white flowers of which I love. It's hard to find a scent with white flowers and something like patchouli/warm woods messing it up! If I had to pick a close second it would have to be Estee Lauder's Pure White Linen. A.D.G. is a lovely, pure refreshing, true floral very white wedding dress, with a baby blue sky, with the brightest sun day.

floralscents88

lovely, strong scent. you will be noticed I can assure you that. fresh and vibrant perfect for summer. lasts all day, even the next day on my clothes.

taureanrage69

To me, this is a smile in perfume form. I'm so glad Acqua Di Gio is still being made, I haven't experienced much like it in modern perfumery and it seems very much a product of that time. To me it's a carefree scent, romantic without being sexy, and I think of the floral sweet pea when I smell this even though I see it's not listed in the note pyramid here. This seems like a cooler scent, it makes me think of soft pastel blue and purple and fun colors like periwinkle, I imagine going for a barefoot stroll alongside a rippling brook wearing a sundress and big straw hat while wearing this perfume. Winsome and classic.

Phantomias

I'm unable to dislike an Armani fragrance, even if the scent in question is aquatic, fruity and has a touch of musk vodka, whatever that is.

Armani has the magic touch to make something lovely and stylish out of notes that could be cheap and horrendous.
AdG is light, fresh and unisex. Average longevity and sillage, perfectly work safe.

AdG is easy to like and easy to wear.

louiee

My youth in a bottle.
Oh I had a crush on this one in this one 90`s.
Soft, clean and innocent.
I love the little green bottle and its content.
I felt so refreshed and somehow peaceful when I wore this...still do
Feminine lily of the valley, pineapple and vodka.
Wonderful and amazing.
Not screaming or noisy, just plain great scent.
Memories with this one, just rebought and will never get rid f it.

chloematilda

For me, this is the '90's in a bottle. Oh how I've missed you my old friend. I'd forgotten how beautiful this fragrance is - flowers, fruit, the ocean and sunshine in a bottle. I was lucky enough to find an original bottle in perfect condition - for cheap! - and with the very first spray I was transported to my days of big hair, big shoulders, bright colours, leather pants, and going straight to work after a night of dancing. This is summer in a bottle, and I'm going to wear the heck out of this!

masako_30

Work of art, of a rare beauty.
If I should associate it with an oil painting, it would be Water Lilies, by Claude Monet.

dsty

Acqua di Gio is super nineties, which is something I usually have a soft spot for, but this one takes it a little too far for my taste. I like the carefree sweet freshness of these typical aquatic fruity florals, but wearing this one is kind of like being bulldozed by it. Also, although it's not listed in the long list of official notes, what I mostly get from the fruity aspect of the scent is melon - which in my opinion is just okay as a fruit, and not great in perfumes either. I'm glad I got to know this classic, but from this category I vastly prefer L'eau d'Issey.

Carolann59

Aquatic peach vodka up front. Super light clean fresh dry down BUT it becomes a skin scent on me within an hour so that's not a very good value and I won't bother to purchase it again.
Unisex: I would love to smell this on a man!
Light enough for Texas summers
Similar to L'eau D'issey in the aquatic element but LD has better longevity.

Aleccsei

nice and refreshing green scent - but nothing out of the ordinary.

Mona Lygre

Yes, I had this perfume as well, it was a pressie from a best friend. It's a nice perfume, smells very aqua and green.

diluted paintbox

My mom is wearing this since the 90s, it is still her number one.
She is very chic woman, but in a non-conventional way. She has great minimalistic taste, she picks everything she owns with tenderness, delicacy, subtlety and freshness, but her choice is always wise and quality. She really knows how to do it, it suits her perfectly.

This scent surrounds me with childhood memories, but also with some very special femininity and respect.

However, in spite of me being emotionally attached to it, I think this is surely an iconic fragrance.

For Taurus and Pisces women especially, I would say.

NicoleET88

If anyone is interested in a vintage bottle, I have a gift set that's been sealed since the 90s, the lotion separated but the perfume looks flawless. PM me

Ree_flexx

It is absolutely gorgeous. Fresh and sweet at the same time. unfortunatelly quite hard to find in stores since the launch of Acqua di Gioia.

senalica

Very floral and very green - this perfume is rather sharp, but this sharpness is not unpleasant. It does feel fresh and makes me immediately think of Lily-of-the-Valley. The sharper note might be because of the vodka? Not sure.. But it is an interesting combination indeed. I believe this definitely wears better in the summer, but could also be quite nice starting early spring.

maureen.mccabe

In the mid-90s, my mother was volunteering with the Environmental Club at the local college. She used to take me to the mall to promote their efforts. We'd hand out flyers, trying to get people to help plant trees and other landscaping efforts.

Back then she used to wear this perfume. I remember it lingering on her oversized cotton t-shirts, tied back with a fanny pack. I remember looking up to her when she cared so much about nature and the environment.

So for me, this transports me to an innocent and energizing time, and for that I have to like it.

It does not take you inward to intimacy and privacy, as other perfumes can do. Instead, it reaches outward to the world, on an endless oceanic horizon - fresh, bright, cool and full of energy, a sense of possibility for the future.

Midnight Lady

Lovely clean opening of musk vodka and peony underlined with citruses. As the fragrances settles, I get white florals - mostly lily of the valley and some fruity undertones.

Fresh, just slightly sweet, aquatic scent. It would definitely be my choice over di Gioia.

Mona Lygre

I had it, and I still love it, so very nice, must have a bottle some day

Plumaria

I used to love this fragrance in the nineties but it wasn't mine. Maybe because I felt that it wasn't me. I couldn't handle white flowers on my skin very well back then, maybe because I used to live in a colder climate and I longed for more cosy, warm scents.

Now that I'm living in a warmer country and that my taste and chemistry have changed I have rediscovered it for me, and it is definitively me. White flowers are now a constant in many of my scents, no matter if they are in a fresh or warmer setting. Here the lily of the valley and jasmine are deliciously creamy and feminine and toned down by the aquatic and the green notes. This scent can really transport me to a summer day at the pool more than on the beach, it may be the vodka note or the enticing colour of the bottle but I really have to think of a swimming pool surrounded of a garden with fragrant flowers.

Because I didn't wear the scent back then, I don't know if it has been reformulated but so far I' m very happy with it. I also really love the bottle in its simple and timeless design yet so feminine in the slightly round edges that remind me of pebbles.

Timby

This is a pleasant scent. I used to love it. Now just like it.
Its just that my tastes have changed.

Sherrie Larrison

Best ever perfume I ever have

MarianaF

Acqua di Gio is juvenile, with the smell of flowers, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. Is the scent of the young femme.

Is important to shake the bottle before using to get all the balance of the notes.

Sometimes is fresh, sometimes sweet, is the starting of the sensuality. The perfect scent for a date or before sex. Stimulant and able to be appreciated for your couple. Is a pleasure.

With not a larger longevity but when applied after bath with a high possibility to keep the sillage for a few hours. Never compare this with CK, that brand is really poor.

A real pleasure with a delicate green tone. Be careful with the bottle, is very delicate too and easy to be broken.

Tigi

Acqua di Gio (for women) - this version - is a relaxing, all-inclusive Caribbean cruise in a bottle. Aquatic without too much saltiness (though a hint of salt in the air is there), green but not bitter, a touch of sheer summer florals, in a world of smell-alike-wannabes this stands at the top of the mountain. This is the "I have arrived" of feminine aquatics. Perfectly inoffensive in it's light/ sheer composition, Acqua di Gio stands apart as the best example of this type of scent (that I am as of yet familiar with).

I recently bought mine to coordinate with my fiance when he wears the men's version, which makes me swoon every time.
One of the gorgeous things about this scent is it's flexibility; it's light and unobtrusive enough to wear to any office, but opulent and refined enough to reapply before going out for cocktails at that hip, chic new hotspot.

Don't be fooled by the pyramid, folks; there is ZERO peony in this. Literally NONE. Not in any way, shape, form, or fashion does Acqua di Gio have peony, not by any stretch of any sentient being's imagination.
ZERO peony.

NONE.

Scent: 9/10

Contessa01

This is a good quality nice aquatic floral. It has a watermelony vibe to it too. I think it's worth a try even if you don't normally go for aquatic fragrances as it's not just another cool water. It's not brilliant but I enjoy it. It's also very 90's.

shauna.parra

Do they have a matching Armani bikini or bathing suit to go with this aquatic fresh summer fragrance? Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful. I love the opening. Smells fresh and fruity, summery, not quite tropical, but definitely something that takes you to like a pool or beach. A pineapple and banana flavor opens this fruit juice almost like a Kerns fruit drink (remember those drinks?) sweet but it's not sugary or cloying or candy-like. This is definitely mature but can be worn by girls in their 20's.

Fruits give way to flowers, soft florals of peony and rose, jasmine, freesia and lilies. White florals mostly, with a soft soapy body. The florals are aquatic meaning they smell like freshly cut flowers that you put in water, in vases. This is exactly like getting whiffs of flowers in water in a flower shop. The scent is quite feminine and no way can a guy smell of this without losing testes. There is a man's cologne version of this stuff which is quite good and more aromatic and green-aquatic a la Davidoff Cool Water. This one is strictly for us girls. The dry down is slightly musky, woodsy and warm with an amber. This is a long lasting fragrance and feels very grown up but clean, soapy, mature and sophisticated without being grandiose. This is nothing original as it does smell like 90's fruity florals but the watery notes give it a very modern and very wearable touch. Smells great in the day time and it is soft and inoffensive so you can wear it anywhere from work to pool parties and at the beach. Summer is coming and I'm taking out my Acqua.

colibri_classique

I had a 50ml bottle of this beauty years ago and I loved it. I went through it pretty fast because it didn't really last on my skin and it needed reapplying after just hours. Fast forward to last month, I was talking about Acqua Di Gioia with a friend and as I mentioned Acqua Di Gio, I became a bit nostalgic and ended up ordering a full 100ml bottle, for old times sake. Same beauty, it turns out - I don't know if it has been reformulated, because it smells the same to me, as far as I can remember. The big surprise was longevity this time - it is really good now on my skin. I sprayed it yesterday morning before work, and it was still there in the evening. Really delicate and intimate, a bit sweet yet refreshing, it is definitely a skin scent that, on my skin, performs so much better in colder weather (spring & fall) than in the summer... the same as Cacharel Noa, which is lost on me if used during summer. I'm really happy to have this again in my collection.

sifoutri

The smell of holidays at the tropics in a bottle!

OKcololo

There was a time in the nineties, after l'Eau d'Issey came out, where everyone was putting out clean, radiant fragrances in minimalist packaging. This was Armani's horse in that particular race.

How is it? Rather good actually. It's surprisingly durable even on skin and it has an interesting balance between fresh tropical fruity notes and mean green florals.

Basically: a Sauvignon blanc for the nose.

Fragaria

Nothing wrong with this scent other than the price. I find sooo....sooo many just as nice for 1/4 the price. It doesn't last any longer...IF as long. There are obviously many people that find something incredible about this. I'd like be able to experience what they love so much.

i dabbed acqua di gio on my wrist from a sample vial about an hour ago. ive been sitting here on computer since and i can smell no wafting at all. in fact, i can only smell it when i press my nose to my wrist and for the price you'd want it to waft some.. therefore, for me.. this ones a dud.

a big thumbs down for me.

socorrosouza

On my skin, it doesn't resemble Eau D'Issey at all. Good longevity (over 10 hours) with moderate sillage for more than 4 hours (I am talking about mid 90s Aqua di Gio) and on me it was an aquatic white flower combo (LOTV and jasmin mainly) with lemon and soft woods on the drydown. Didn't get the vodka note nor the peonia. It was one of my favorites, bought 2 100 ml bottles and used for many years.

deviation

Ain't feelin' any love here. This was another blind buy based on rave reviews. For those people who hate Issey Miyake type of perfumes(think L'eau d'Issey), then you may not like this. Because it smells just like L'eau d'Issey. Sharp notes of Lilly of the valley infused with jasmine which reminds me at times of matcha powder or fresh cut grass mixed with sweet smelling floral(the sweetness of jasmine is dominant which smells like jasmine note found in incense). Nauseating and headache inducing to say the least.

Pimpernell

This is one of my all time summer fragrance favorits. Have been wearing it off and on for thirty years. Always keep a bottle in my collection.

Akashia

Years back, when I first came across a sample, it was a wow perfume. Loved the amber and cedar note lingering on my skin for many many hours. I had to purchase a bottle of this.

That was back in 1995. sigh... Unfortunately, 20 years later, I still haven't finished the bottle.

I guess I wasn't in the habit of wearing perfume like nowadays, and I fell in love other rather prominent scented niche perfumes.

I am not quite sure about floral or aquatic note in this perfume because what I like the most about this perfume was the soft amber, cedar woody note.

luca89

Buon profumo estivo, che mi ricorda le passeggiate di fine estate.
Un profumo che è come un bouquet di fiori acquatici.

jacmac

Fresh, simple, green. The florals of the peony and lily of the valley are dominated by the "aqua" scent that is SOOOO overdone. Girl's version of Davidoff's Cool Water. I loved this as an undergrad student, as it was my first more expensive perfume purchase, but now I find it simplistic. I still have a huge bottle, and it's taking me years to get through it. Nice to wear to the gym if you want to keep a shower fresh scent while running on the treadmill, or to the beach. Similar somewhat to Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey - another aquatic floral of the same vintage. Seems like many girls in the 90's wore one or the other if she was in to the aquatic scents. I find them both boring now. Fresh, yes, but forgettable.

calma

One sniff of this aquatic floral sends you right back to the beginning of the 1990´s when, together with other very similar scents like Issey Miyakes 'L´Eau D´Issey',
this new group of ozonic perfumes created a whole new category.

Sure, there are some discreet floral notes hiding behind the massive and totally dominating dose of Calone.
Sweet pea, freesia, peach and muscat grape makes it a more feminine composition, but as the case is with all the calone fragrances - they stand very much in the back pews.

A cool, watery fragrance with the aroma of sea spray which is best suited to wear in warmer seasons.

Taliera

This used to be one of my favourites, and still is rather... but when compared to others (niche scents and so-called masterpieces) it can come across as a bit crude. It is an in-your-face aquatic scent, but not as blatent as Davidoff Cool Water. Once you realize Acqua di Gio was never intended to be a delicately unfolding waif, you can enjoy this strong, watery, swimming-pool fragrance for what it is: fresh and relaxing. What I enjoy most is the high it throws me into. The ozonic quality makes me feel like I'm floating up in clouds, in the physical and metaphysical sense. Heaven!

revealm

Really beautiful simple scent.
a fragrance for a woman who want smell fresh aquatic and a little bit of floral but doesn't want to end up with CK one.

I over look this perfume all the time because I think it's came out for so long and maybe smell like old fashion regular perfume.

so briefly it's smell like Orange Jessamine after rain.

AnnaT

I first smelt Acqua over 10 years ago and shocked of how good, exciting and fresh it smelt. But at that time, i did have the habit of wearing perfum.

Time change and here i am! Sweet, cool and quite genuine melon scent explodes like a nuclear boomb on application. It slowly fades out to give place to warm woody scent. It is reasonably long lasting for EDT and the sillage during the 'melon phrase' is great. At first i found the top note too sharp, having applied the frangrance on my neck. Now i apply it on lower part of my body and it produces wonderful round frangrance.

Acqua is still a very unique scent even after over 10 years. I think it is becuase melon is not usual in frangrance notes, even for fruity frangrance. The most popular ones recently seem to be berry and pear.

margarita.angelova

There is something in this fragrance that doesn't feel quite alright for me. It almost feels like there is a carnation in the composition which definitely would not belong in there. Should be the aquatic part that bothers me; I'm usually not a fan of that kind of notes.

Apart from that it's fresh floral, a holiday scent indeed - not too interesting but just right for your time off.
I personally would not go for it.

irenesa

This is a bad review, so you can keep your ballons...

I wore this baby so much in my teens, because It was a gif from my mom; at first I kinda like it but no, to be honest I really dislike it so much after wearing it s couple months. I really try to like it because my mom gave it to me. It's so sharp, that hurts my nose. It's so metallic, that my nose just clogs in a toxic way. On me, on my chemistry is only metallic synthetic peony and my most hated flower: lily of the valley. It is not spring, it is no summer, it is no breeze. It is not "clean"; It is just annoying metallic synthetics laboratory flowers trying to look like a 90's cool fragrance.
Don't hey DON'T even dare to wear this on winter.

Not my cup of tea.

Kbt71

Acqua de Gio original from the 1990's has been stored in my under bed drawer boxed for an eternity. I havent used it in such a long time and almost gave it away as it had fallen out of favour with me years back. So today for old times sake i thought i would take a trip down memory lane!
Its a very fresh aquatic floral for me, there are slight fruity notes there but i feel that this outweighed by the flowers.
The longevity is good, sillage the same.... Cant say i will wear it regularly. I may be available to swap this near full bottle!
Relegated back to its box!

gamme82

for some reason, this fragrance, has printed its DNA in my olfaction, as a banana scent. Remember it as very fresh and yummy fruity, with great sillage and longevity. Its a rich fragrance, its full blooded, and ripe, and a little went a long way.

MartaL

Agua di Gio is a very light, daytime scent. It blends with my skin so that I literally don't feel the scent anymore which brings me to a point why have a scent when neither you nor people around you can smell it. It is for someone who is starting off with wearing fragrances or someone who wants to be on a safe side.

Fawkey

I out grew this perfume & it is a long time since I last had some, but from memory it was a very fresh smell on me, cucumber & melon, banana, aquatic, I think it may have been the lily of the valley notes that eventually put me off it.

nitschevo

I need this beauty back in my collection - It is wonderful. Uplifting, classy and with signature potential. I consider this to be the older sister of Tommy Girl. There's nothing like it!

Edit: Got a 35 ml bottle for a steal on ebay. It just arrived and brings back so many memories. This used to be my signature scent when I was 16, 17. Ahh, the memories of first love :)

briones

uplifting , fresh with great personality . love it

Mellyhelly

Acqua di Gio is the mother of all acquatic floral and it had a success that according to my tastes is not really explicable.
Perhaps it made a statement when it came out and it was relief from heavy notes, but at the same time it started the trend of all the floral ozonic/acquatic "acqua" thing.
New and lively at first, it became such a bore everywhere. Every woman and their sisters wore in a bottle at once squitting: "Oh, it's so fresh and gentle! Inoffensive!"
No, it's not inoffensive. Probably still one of the best in its kind, still killing me softly with "acqua".
It has an interesting woody drydown that softens that brain killing piercing note, so when I used to wear it long time ago (only sometimes for fashion's sake) I had to endure all the first stages before enjoying that soft wood. I hope they didn't reformulate it.
BTW what's Musk Vodka?

tracy.debloistalley

Another floral fruity fragrance I do like, which is rare. This smells very watery to me, like something out of a stocked floral area near a lake. It comes off on me as very floral but with green notes.
The top notes are peony, pineapple, musk vodka, peaches, lemon, banana leaf, and violets. I smell the peony and vodka right off the bat. The violet as well but it comes out after about 10 minutes on me. The middle notes are lily, freesia, jasmine, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, rose, lily-of-the-valley, and calone (which is a synthetic note to mimic melons). Base notes are sandalwood, amber, musk, cedar, and styrax (which are a woody resin).

Morely

It is not discontinued, just harder to find it nowadays. You can get it in big stores or in duty free in almost all countries airports. It's still on Armani's website and you can get the perfume. Mine was made in 2014.
By the way it is not even close to the scent of Acqua di Gioia. When I couldn't find Acqua di Gio I've tried Acqua di Gioia and was really disappointed...

I really like the perfume. My sister bought it for herself but apparently it has something that she had allergy for and she gave it to me when I was quite little. It's totally different on me. On me it's ocean and jasmine garden and I like it. On my sister it is not a garden but little dark room with jasmine and ylan-ylang all over it.

It's quite unique scent with many ingredients and smells so it's amazingly different on different persons and not everyone can wear it and smell it. I've noticed that some people are much more sensible to it than others. Never had this with other perfumes. Maybe it is because of lily's scent.

LadyPilot

I confirm - it is NOT DISCONTINUED! I smelled it today at Indizio and the ladies said they have it on stock permanently. Hurrraaa!:-D

Ryanmmas26

Since I wear Aventus and its done so well for me my gf has been wanting a fragrance thats her "AVENTUS" so to speak so last week we went to Macys to sample a few frags.

And we tried a few frags but the female version of ADG seemed to blow the competition away !

Its a beautiful blend of freshness, light cirtuses and floral as well as some nice woody notes in the background to add some depth. This is a very similar to the mens version but while the mens version gives off a playful more casual vibe the womens version to me anyways gives off a playful vibe but also a more elegant vibe. In a nutshell this fragrance is beautiful and is a must for the warmer weather !!!

This actually lasts my gf 6-8 hours and projects pretty well on her for 4 of those hours.

Id rate this fragrance a very solid 9 !!! This and the female version of Issey Miyake are my 2 favs as far as my personal fav scents I like smelling on women

Whiteclimax

For me is fresh, clean and soapy but in a good way.
If you're the kind of woman who likes to wear men's fragrance, this is one of the best choices.
Also perfect for summer!!

schamberae

Just received my ADG I bought from online.it's rejected product but original and I got the tester for only $18. this is the real smell of sea water. Imagine walking on the beach in Bali (I'm Indonesian) with breeze and Balinese traditional music. Floral and watery. And also casual enough for any occasion or office day time wear. Oooh how I miss Bali.

Update : I notice that actually this is smells like air freshener. probably it was the best on 90's, but I buy it in 2014 where air freshener and detergent could smell like high end perfume nowadays :( so sad that I smell like stella air freshener

gardeniapetunia

The way this perfume changes is lovely and it also responds to heat in the nicest of ways. Many hours after applying, the top notes long gone, I will be outside in the summer warmth and get the most beautiful rose fragrance and that alone is why I love this perfume.
I have been wearing this for ten years with great love. To me this is neither aquatic (well, a tiny bit, but not overly) or Mediterranean, (whatever that is, I've never been, but tend to think rosemary and lemon)
I have been looking for years for a perfume to surpass this for spring/summer, seriously I don’t love all the notes, but can’t find one. Maybe it’s like marriage!

mashry68

use it only for my baby girl.. for me i dont love it on my skin

Rosamelia

I love it...like in LOVEEEEEEEE... smells fresh, with a hint of sweet, light, but not overpowering. Reminds me of Salvador Dali Laguna, but this one is more feminine.

Tintorra

Just smelt it in a local store looking for a fresh summer scent and really am in love I think! To me it starts fresh and strong. Vodka and lime! Then the flowers burst out together with aquatic notes. I can't recognize all of them flowers, but in the beginning I noted a little Hyacinth and Fresia together with a very beautiful Jasmine. The Jasmine stayed with me the whole driedown together with light woodsy notes.

It slightly reminds me of a very luxury soap too. The freshness, the flowers... WOW. Why didn't I find this one before?

And... another perfume from Alberto Morillas that I like. Al the perfumes he blends seem to go well on me.

Because it is still sold here in The Netherlands it looks like it has not been discontinued here. It is rather expensive though.

tropic sugar

Just wanted everyone to know this fragrance is not discontinued.Armani website,Ulta beauty and Macy's.com all still carry this in all the sizes.I tested this at Ulta and it did not smell rancid or old.I smelled tropical breezes, ylang ylang.jasmine, sweet pea with some watery fruits and a lovely soft sandalwood drydown. This is much better than the new Acqua di Gioia which is too sharp and not as feminine on my skin.Beautiful aquatic fragrance with a soft warm sensual drydown.I will be purchasing this for my aquatic summer fragrance. This is a breezy, tropical aquatic perfume!Love it!

zenbabylove

I went through more bottles of this than any other!

I don't quite understand why wonderful scents get discontinued and hideous celebrity frags inundate the market.

I think it's risky to order discontinued perfume online because you run the risk of getting old rancid bottles.

This was a classic that should have stayed!

HollyBiani

I smell a pool party with loads of watermelon vodka. Transport me to Las Vegas please.

username101

When I was a child, most perfume that were around (or at least those that were caught on my radar) were very heavy fragrances that everyone can smell when you walk into a room. Then I read about this perfume, saw the picture and the ad on a magazine and I realized if there is a perfume like this I maybe able to enjoy it. I wanted to have it quite badly in my childhood into early teens, but it was a bit too expensive for me to get in my hands then. Then I found other perfumes in the meanwhile and I forgot all about this. Now that I can afford and want to smell it again, it disappeared from the market. I think I have tried it somewhere but I don't remember the smell. I'd love to try again. Please don't tell me it smells the same as Acqua di Gioia? I tried it and didn't like it at all.

Allydefleur

One of my personal all time favourites. Fresh, acquatic & feminine. Each time I smell Acqua di Gio, it reminds me of summer. This perfume is really hard to get these days, but I recently got a 50ml bottle from a European website & am using it very sparingly!

samsara82

Dear Readers,

I will miss this perfume since its has become discontinued now and this has a personal endearing memory attached to it since this is or was my sisters day signature perfume since its arrival in the scene .

I remember this perfume arriving in the 90's and I was a young teen then and my sister had her this aquamarine perfume, im not sure if her boyfriend gifted this for her or she bought it and brought her a boyfriend?, either story this perfume was very beautiful on her , because she smelled like the perfume but the sea spirit of the perfume possessed her and they became one , she did become a captivating sea maiden when she wore this and always got complemented and got herself a man , what a perfume !.

So I went to try it myself and well I must say it did not brought me to catch of the day but it was very friendly on me and it reminded me like a glittery gold by the sun upon a beautiful sea and playing with dolphins in the waves and being kissed by the sun , a truly lovely experience but I know that I could never wear this for two reasons:

1. I loved L'eau de Monteil more.

2. Its my sisters perfume and I honor that.

But this fragrance is truly a lovely fragrance to behold since its one of those legendary aquatic fragrances since Mr Armani truly captured the sea in a bottle, but not any sea scent but of a virgin sea from a lost age where the earth was young and humans were meek and not powerful to pollute the seas with waste and sins, for this aquatic scent is truly beautiful and mythical , a lovely gift for your aquatic special someone or your own inner water spirit , I and my sister lament that this fragrance is being discontinued and who ever owns this perfume is truly a sea treasure !

unmonotiti

This was a gift. While I know this perfume has some cult following, personally I dislike it. It stings my nose, I find it a "raspy" smell.

Mortazuma

This perfume reminds me when I felt I was finally budding into womanhood (I was a late bloomer). Fresh, jovial, adventurous, feminine, understated and sweetly humble...it matched me perfectly. This was not an ''in your face'' fragrance, it was more of that good girl type fragrance, shy and sweet. On me, this was a lovely perfume which was pure pleasure from first spritz and throughout. The sillage was kind with those that had sensitivities and lasted a long time (about 8 hours).

It is versatile enough that you can wear it at the workplace or on a date. I wouldn't file this fragrance under ''seductive'' at all, however...my exes (used to) and current boyfriend seemed to really wanna keep their faces close to me when I'd wear it. I dare say that in all my years of working in a perfumeria, there was NOTHING that smelled like it, so if you'd like to sample something quite unique for its time, this is well worth a try.

It is just a very pleasant fragrance and it makes me feel like some lovely mermaid having her happy moments on earth still smelling like her home...an exotic, serene, crystal blue sea.

BTW, if anyone wants to get rid of their AdG...send me a message! I'll gladly adopt it XD

genny17

It has its cult following, but it has aged now, so I personally am not crazy about it, although in summer, it would be enjoyable to wear..typical Morillas creation, soft, a bit sharp, more mature also..just a nice one from the past!?
Almost unisex .

rionne.kaine

Love it to death. I wear this since I was 13 and now I'm 21 and I still love it. It has a slightly tomboyish scent that is light and crisp (I hate sweet perfume). This stay on me really well and it lasts on my clothes for days although the smell altered slightly but the evoluted scent is still alright. In short: it is just a pleasant, summer scent.

Side note: I use to think that this is men's perfume (I thought the female version is Acqua di Gioia) and kind of sad that I actually use men perfume, but how stupid I am there is two version of Acqua di Gio, the blue bottle for women and white bottle for men :)

SucceeD87

Fresh, clean, perfect for summer

elliselove

when i smelled a sample from a magazine when it first came out, i REALLY wanted it to death. i had to wait many years to afford one. so ok, i got it like couple years ago finally (2011?) and i couldn't stand the smell. i had to give it away (oh i spent a lot for it at ulta). i never want to smell this again.

iragoodall

First time I bought it in 1997. Since then, I buy it every time I finish the bottle.

Cams

This is one of the loveliest fragrances (unfortunately discontinued) and far superior to the "di gioia" fragrances. I get compliments constantly.

GlobalGirlyGirl

I wore this signature scent the longest - over five years. It was sweet, but light and fresh. Clean smelling without being soapy. By far, one of the best blends out there.

I don't know how he did it, but he managed to bottle the Mediterranean sea on a hot summer day.

susi_susina

I consider this my all time favourite for day wear. It is so refreshing and lasts a long time on the skin!. I first purchased it 13 years ago but I always come back to it as I always get wonderful comments when I wear it.

greenelf

I LOVE this scent--fresh and crisp but also soft and feminine--and boy, do I get compliments on it every time I put it on! I don't seem to be able to find this in stores anymore--has it been discontinued? The new Acqua De Goia is just NOT the same!

dezaval

Very feminine fragrance! Italian chic and elegance! Recomended mostly for spring and summer time. It's fresh, any-occasion, white floral frag. It smells like sea breeze in Mediterranean Sea. Imagine yourself a summer morning taking a long walk at a sandy beach, with the sun shining and the sky being blue. From all the Armani perfumes, this is my favorite. Sillage and longevity are OK, but I'd like it to have an EDP edition.

Freia

It's a spring and summer fragrance. A classy, fresh and clean scent.

fiouu

ADG we meet again. This is one of those loud "in your face" "I'm the nineties but can't get enough of the eighties" fragrance. At least thats the first spray. As always, I can't tell if Armani perfumes are truly aquatic since they are quite strong, good sillage and longevity. Reminds me of Wings by Giorgio Beverly Hills, but this is better put together, it's not annoyongly sweet, and because of the white florals it smells quite soft. On me it has quite the sillage, I've caught my own whiffs thinking ERMEGHERD WHO'S WEARING THAT GORGEOUS FRAG? Then smelling the neck of my shirt and yeah, It was me. Really pretty on it's own, before the drydown some may complain about the "shampoo" smell, well let me tell you, If there was such a gorgeous smelling shampoo I'd stock on it. Period. I can barely smell the vodka, so don't worry you won't be reeking of alcohol. I can' even pick it up and I'm almost glued yto my wirst. To me this is: prominent white flowers, first jasmine, then peony, then lily of the valley, then peaches and pineapple. With a tinge of lemon in the background, but not like lemon juice, it's more like a dry lemon, or a candied lemon(? Anyways, very classy, all age apropriate. For this review my grammy lend it to me, she's been wearing ADG since it came out.

Germany

Use to be one of my favourtites. Fresh aquatic refreshing but warm. Love it!!!!

vernassina

I bought this scent after reading several positive reviews written about it. Unfortunately, the local department stores did not carry a tester, so I ordered it from Macy's online. When I received the product, I initially sprayed the scent. I found the scent to be similar to Windex or a household cleaner. It had a strong alcohol, woodsy scent with a touch of pine/citrus notes. The scent is fresh, but not attractive, romantic or feminine. It might be fine for an after shave for men, but definitely not made for a woman.

Maria Goretti

PERFEITO,PERFEITO,MARAVILHOSO,JASMIM COM ALMÍSCAR,SENSACIONAL CHEIRA FRESCO ADORÁVEL. EXCELENTE PARA VERÃO.

Peachply

This is really not my thing, it's nowhere on me kind of aquatic/ozone even...yawn

amanita68

I recently rediscovered this beautiful fragrance.

My sister is a mega collector of perfumes (400 plus) and this was one she brought round for our Friday night 'sniff and a snifter'.

The first spray is deliciously tropical, pinapples, peaches and booze, a little like a malibu and pineapple, but substitute the coconut with watermelon, but keep the swetness of coconut.

The initial sweetness reduces after a few minutes and the melony fragrance and florals accompany the booze into a heady late meditterarnean night, when the tuquoise sea calls you for a swim.

A place where anything is possible, where the sweetness of the day blends into the moonlight shadows, where the desserts and the drinks and the attraction can lead you to unknown pleasures, where a midnight swim can lead to sweet love.

I now own the bottle that was brought to the Friday Sniff and Snfter.

Because I love it!

But have to be in the mood for a sweetie.

A gorgeous fragrance for a winter's day when you crave a taste of summer or a fresh spring day with the anticipation of summer in mind. Or a lovely taster as you set off on holiday. Or the holiday scent itself that brings the dreams to you in reality!

Beautiful and so many possibilities to enjoy x :)

Molliepops

For some reason this fragrance reminds me of the smell of cucumber mojitos.

It was a favourite of mine in the nineties, but I'm not so keen on it now.

Its pleasant, fresh and somewhat fruity, but I'd say its more aquatic. Its fine for daytime wear, but not very sophisticated. Ideal to wear on holiday in warm weather.

Fine for office wear too, as not overpowering at all, quite subtle. Its not offensive, so perfect for gift giving.

Insolent

I love the men's EDT which is fresh and sparkles but this has a kind of dirty note woven through it. I gave it away immediately.

Milladane

The marketing and packaging suggests a very aquatic fragrance, so I went into it thinking I would hate it. Low expectations means it's easy to be pleased - it's NOT completely aquatic. There. I already like it.

I smell a mix of fresh florals. I'm not so sure I smell peony though, because that's one of my favorite notes and I just can't pick it out here. And after looking at the notes listed, I see that the fruits help make this perfume not become a cold harsh floral, though it in no way smells fruity in the way we know fruity today. There's citrus, or course, but it doesn't dominate the whole thing. It bounces between floral and citrus.

Not exciting, but it's not bad and it has its place in the perfume world. This would be absolutely perfect in tropical locations so you would not have to worry about your perfume becoming nasty in the heat and humidity. Usually, I would be slinging mud at something like this. I think I'm being nice to it because it smells very 1990s and brings back overall good memories when I was in my carefree 20 somethings....this fragrance was in every department store and in every magazine as a test strip.

evgenia80

I had a miniature( back in 90s) when I was a teenager and I remember that I thought that this scent was wonderful. I didn`t use to wear any perfume when I was 14 but I sniffed the little bottle and felt great! This summer I want to try it again and if it still makes me feel the same then this can be my new summer fragrance!

OTA Mom

Absolutely like fresh floral deodorant soap--which I would use, but not choose as a perfume.

4moons

My memory of this scent is a holiday in Egypt. Wonderful memories and a wonderful, fresh scent. Very much suited for warmer spring and summer.

mpiry

I Absolutely adore this fragrance. It is so pretty, feminine and easy to wear. It gets tons of compliments. It is light and clean, but has that "something" the floral notes are there, but muted with a bit of muskiness, I think it's this combo that makes it so pleasant. I first bought it when I was in Spain, the sales woman was so big on this scent and told me how popular it was, so i purchased. never looked back since, i love it! This fragrance brings me back to the Mediterranean.
I'm sad I can't find it anywhere though! I'm in Vancouver and went to the Bay and Sears and both told me they just don't carry anymore. Looks like I'll be scouting for it online.

lassie172

it smells totaly like soap for me. Floral soap

lalalala

Got this as a birthday present and while i like it i'm not in LOVE with it. I like that it's very appropriate for summer weather in that it's not cloying but the flowers are very predominant in this fragrance. I think maybe if the peach and lily of the valley were replaced by apple it would be so much more freshh. It's on the borderline of overly floral in my opinion but it's not old-ladish. Overall it's an okay scent something i wear from time to time. Wish it lasted longer..the longevity and sillage kinda sucks at about 3-4 hours and 2 hours(on a good day) respectively. Not a must have perfume in my opinion.

libbyanne

Every time I smell this perfume I think of the way the air smells when spring has sprung. Icicles melting!
Very fresh scent.
WHY DID THEY CHANGE THIS PERFUME? What a shame:(

citadel

I usually favor scents that are suited better for cool weather, and thus it's hard for me to splurge on the fragrances of summer (watery, floral, crisp). One of my male co-workers smelled fantastic one day and I asked him what it was, and it was this (the women's version, not the men's one). It has a carefree, "just stepped out of the shower", fresh-faced, youthful feel to it. Honestly, I never saw myself enjoying an aquatic scent so much, but I can't exactly go around town in 100 degree weather with a hot cloud of Coco by Chanel hovering around my body. This is definitely suitable for office-wear or casual luncheons. Think jean shorts and a t-shirt, or a light summer frock. Not meant for formal attire at all, I think, but it definitely fits many other occasions.

stefanie.vieweg

This has been my first real perfume and I used it for years. Every christmas I got a new bottle. When I grew older, I used to use up 3 100ml bottles of this a year!
But I stopped using it almost 3 years ago. I still have a tiny bit left in my last bottle and from time to time I sniff it, but I don´t use it anymore. I grew out of it, I guess. It´s not a bad perfume at all, it´s wonderful, IMO, but I am kind of done with it after using it for over 10 years.
It´s one of those fragrances where I can´t identify a single note. It´s just like a bunch of something blended together to one heavenly scent. I can say that it´s fresh though and not sweet at all. More like a sea breeze, fresh and clean.
What I didn´t like about it was that never anyone else smelled it. It´s not one of those "whoah here I come" scents. It stays close to the skin, only I ever smelled it. It lasted always very long, I was able to smell it on my wrists and clothes even the day after!

Lucialuz

this used to be my favourite perfume. My teenager dream - in Brazil it was very expensive in 1994, something like 250 dollars (our taxes are horrible). I could not pay for it.
It is really good, but now i see it is common (smells like toilette soap), smells like 5th avenue, like Oui!, like many perfumes.
And now I see it is a dated fragrance. The oppoponax note gives it a powder antique tone. There are better and fresher perfumes for summer today: Light Blue, Be delicious, L'eau D'issey, L'eau par Kenzo

SandraV

Sad-I had to return this as the more I wore it the more it made me think of a Yankee Candle:just my stupid chemistry.....again:(

golden

This is an amazing fresh perfume, which can be worn at any time.
I have worn this perfume years ago, then forgot all about it, but joining Fragrantica I remembered, so now I have it in my collection again. I wouldn't be without this again, it's fresh yet warm, bright yet deep.
It brings back alot of nostalgia for me, and also has very good sillage. Lasts all day 8 hours plus.
Very refreshing, comforting and uplifting.
It reminds me of all my holidays, sun and being by the sea.

SandraV

Interesting-this smells just like Perry Ellis 360 on me minus the sage note that ruins the PE scent(again just on myself).Yet another one I just *like* and can see wearing it in cooler weather just because our summers here in the South are horrendous and this could get cloying fast.Funny as I know it's considered more of a summer type of scent but I think I'll be wearing it more in the Fall and Winter.

PricklyAndHot

Light fruity floral fragrance.

Most of all I feel the melon, hyacinth, lily and musk note in this fragrance.

It's nice. But not my cup of tea anymore.

melanie

Aqua di Gio is still on the official site, strange because all that is good is discontinued. I feel melon, although pineapple, vodka and other fruits are clearly felt. Besides Escale a Portofino Aqua is my favorite summertime refreshment. Incredibly longlasting on my skin, a few hours, and anyway I enjoy every time I refresh it because I love its top notes. Clean, fruity, fresh, colorful, elegant, awesome! Aqua di Gio is all I ask of a summer fragrance. Stylish and classic, wonderful!

kristalbee

This has been my everyday summer fragrance for nearly 20 years . Men seem to appreciate its clean fresh smell and I often get compliments on how lovely I smell when I wear this. I would not wear it on a night or in cold weather as its a cold clean smell, appreciated on a hot dry day -very refreshing. There has always been something in the fragrance I couldn't put my finger on -until joining the Forum and realising from reading the top notes -its vodka -it all makes sense now lol!

Eridanshay1

Second review! My first review, (although I stand by my testament) did not really make sense. I said it was not an oceanic type of scent to me and then went on to say it reminded me of time spent at the beach (ocean. Huh? What I meant, but didn't convey is that to me when I think of aquatic/ocean smells I think of cool scents with no warmth, floral's or wood mixed in. This is not the case with Aqua DG. So, I purchased it tonight!. After sampling it a few weeks ago, I decided on a 1.7 oz size. I really am enjoying the powder note I detect. It is soft and lulling. Like baby powder.
The jasmine settled quite quickly on my skin and is just a spectator at the scent sport. Some juicy fruits (not unlike the actual Juicy Fruit Gum, come to think of it; the pineapple perhaps?) sure do like to take center stage for the first hour after application, but the musk, peony and sandalwood/styrax are blended very well and to my nose make up the base of the perfume that sticks the longest to my skin. Not much projection on this. Not a skin scent, but just soft, pleasant and sweet.

Eridanshay1

What on earth made me decide to test this at the store the other day is beyond me since I normally bolt in the opposite direction from aquatic anything (as far as scents go...)but I did and I loved it. I think the name is so misleading! This does not seem oceanic in the least if you are thinking that like I was. The first initial burst I received was a powdery jasmine and rose that were mingling together. It is warm and soft and a delightful scent that is somehow reminiscent of time spent at the beach; a late afternoon nap in the sun by the dunes with wild flowers and grasses releasing their scent as you drift off to sleep with salt drying on your skin. This is a gem!

Mad-Lainey

Acqua Di Gio is the most wonderful aquatic fragrance in the world.
I would compare its natural aquatic quality to Aquawoman by Roachas.
Both are absolute gems within their olfactive group.
Acqua Di Gio has been purchased by myself in blind and it has been a dream come true purchase.
The fragrance is uplifting and refreshing. It smells like a mix of solar notes with rich aquatic accord served on a slice of honey melon.
I feel like resting on a sun lounger around the swimming pool, I can just detect gentle floral notes from the nearby garden and the smell of ozonic note coming from the water... I indulge in all these notes and treat myself to a melon salad...
The soft musky dry down comes after approx 6 hours and the fragrance passed my overnight test without any issues.
Good sillage and and lasting power. I didn't expect this from an Eau De Toilette and especially from an aquatic fragrance.
Acqua Di Gio is truly a number one juice for summer.
Full stop.

mimi88

i like this one it makes you feel so cozy..somehow it reminds me of the past so nostalgic..it's strange because i didn't own or wear it untill this year, maybe some acquaintance wore it. Though i don't like the first notes they are too sharp for my nose i love the base ones and the staying power is good

Mirlo

My gosh. Do I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE! It's floral, casual, fresh, a little sweet...beautiful, just beautiful. And extra-feminine, like all great perfumes. With this one, you just can't go wrong, but I find it especially appropiate for warmer days.
I do realise that there's nothing too unique or characteristic about it (unlike Narciso Rodríguez's or Flower by Kenzo), but it was a wonderful surprise for me to come accross this perfume. Maybe the reason why I like it so much has to do with the fact that I was looking for a fresh perfume that I really liked, one that wasn't too citric, too watery or too light. I gave Carolina Herrera 212 a try and was terribly dissappointed, Happy Clinique was just too flat, and Light Blue seemed nice but we just weren't meant to be. This one just felt so right on my wrist...gotta love it!!!

Lumiere26

Loved this fragrance! Had compliments and inquiries all the time.

fragrantica333

love.. love.. love.. speechless..

Kione

It reminds me of the original Gio but minus the spicy and deep touch of the original one.

It also reminds me of Eau de Verino, which is great as they are two of my favourites.

And I don't think its exclusively for the summer, I think it has enough sweetness from flowers for colder days too.

Will definitely purchase.

shalimar.ji

ice queen. eternal symbol of femdom in my mind )

marilynne

too many descriptions for a simple fragrance.
Anyway I think it s too subtle for my nose cause I can barely smell it. and i hate spraying a lot of perfume on my skin when it seems too vapourous
if Michelle Pfeiffer wears this I can t believe it. doesn't suit at all.

jkiffe

I just can't get it out of my head that this smells like a sweet bar of soap. I had a couple of blow-in cards that sent me over the moon, but misplaced them, and I bought this, thinking that it was the correct one. But no, when I found the card months later, it was Acqua di Gioia, not Acqua di Gio. I have tried several times to wear it, but just can't get the soapy image out of my head.

Soetkoekie

I have worn this since it was launched and it has never ceased to please me - if I dont wear it for a few weeks and then use it again, it hits me like the sweetest surprise and I wonder why I havent worn it for days. I love this scent.

Museumgal

I particularly like this for work. The citruses wake me up on the opening notes as I'm driving in, and the lily of the valley and other florals are prominent while I'm at work. The musk/woods ground it nicely, and it lasts well on me. The florals keep the pineapple -- usually a note that stands out not in a good way -- blended in nicely.

candys

this is a nice, fresh scent. but i prefer to use it in cold weather, the fruityness seems to appear more strong in cold weather, really dont like to wear this in hot weather.

bloomia

typically Armani, this scent is very sophisticated. I could imagine any woman with class, one who knows, what she wants, wearing this. Wonderful!

idror24

from an xy: i must say i like wearing edt after i shower, even alone to bed. i am expanding my range i like chacharel (original), ck be, lanvin oxygen, narcisso rodriguez, acqua digio - men.

and i must say every time i'm in a shop testing smells i'm drawn back to this version so i thing its becoming one of my favorites even though designated female. and i even got a compliment from the mobile phone girl.... anyway married with kids - just aroma therapy for me. i really like this.

artsymom

Over the years, I've probably received the most perfume compliments while wearing this. It seems to really drive some people crazy (in a good way).

I agree with Ouch! A great blend of fruit, floral and aquatic notes (in that order) with a pretty musk dry down. It's too sweet and musky to be considered aquatic in my opinion, even though the bottle of perfume visually reminds me of the ocean or swimming pools.

It's a great summer fragrance. Very uplifting and comforting. But I've worn it and enjoyed it in winter, too!

hanilee84

Got this as an aiport purchase this summer and of all the summer scents I have smelt liek this one the best. Fresh and not to strong, lasts long enough and not resticted to one season.

tmeicxl

I generally don't do scents that smell aquatic....but this was my signature scent back in the 90's. Very fresh and cool.

Ouch!

I would say this is a floral aquatic fruity. It's all 3 elements perfectly.

There is a citrus in this that keeps it zingy, while also being quite powerfully floral. The flowers in here are fresh to compliment the overall aquatic/citrussy feel so it smells "light" in actual smell but is powerful in strength if that makes sense, it's like being punched in the face with a feather!

There's an almost tropical vibe to it and I think that probably comes from the pineapple, but...the main notes are the flowers (Which I can't pick out individually sorry) and the watery, fresh, oceanic notes.

I could see how this could become overpowering or quite heady if sprayed too much, but it definitley is a winner in my books. I know it's been around a long time but I'm only just smelling it now, feel like I may have missed the boat with this one!!

CathyGQ

LOVELY !!!

viewdemonde

I read where Michelle Pfeiffer wears this.

Pinni

I remember my old childhood friend wearing this fragrance. It smelled very nice on her.
To my disappointment it didn't smell as nice in the bottle when I went to check it out in the shop.
I've never tried it on myself as it was always "her" scent.

Conclusion: This scent can be very nice if it fits with your skin chemistry.

onebadbaby

Another airport purchase from the 90s- it never smelled as fresh on me as I wanted it to, it always had some sort of off note that I wish wasn't there, probably the pineapple. It is an aquatic, fruity floral to me.

kugkng

I really like ACG but just on the card or the cloth the scent blast smell very sunny summertime and intersting fresh flower little bit of sour fruit. I can easily detect and enjoy the palm leaf that make it uniqueness .. on me it smells so harsh and sour oddly way, I think it caused from my skin chemistry not work well with.. Good point the scent last very long ;).

blueberry

It is my second fragrance from Armani house (after my beloved Emporio She). I like it more in the spring than in the summer, because it can become a little bit overwhelming in the heat. It is a mixture of floral, fruity and aquatic notes (I get this impression of immersion in cool and sweet scented water), quite refreshing and distinctive, it lasts a long time on skin and clothes, and is quite suitable for office - it seems to be a good compromise between elegance and casualness.
I think it bears resemblance to Gres Cabotine in some aspects at least, but the latter seems lighter to use on a daily basis for me. Also, I have an impression that overspraying Acqua di Gio may result in a slight migraine, so it is important to be reasonable when applying, especially that when you spray it, it seems soooo nice and encouraging to spray one more time.
Another problem with AdG is that the fragrance is extremely popular due to the huge number of knock-offs which kind of ruin the effect of otherwise pleasant concoction.
I like it, I appreciate and enjoy it from time to time, but I will not repurchase when I use the 100ml bottle up.

RavenDarkholme

I loved Acqua di Giò years ago. It was my signature scent in high school. Now I look for perfumes more than EDT cause I bearly smell them on myself. Ideal for young girls or for summer:)

monimacjaeger

I used to use Aqua di Gio and really liked it. it is a long lasting fragrance.than I tried the new fragrance Aqua di Gioa, very pleasant fragrance and long lasting too. i liked very much these two parfumes and mabe in the future i will turn on using them.

glamrose

Summer's in my country...Hurray!

Used to use this every day in a hot day but never bathe yourself into it. It's overpowering to some and may cause headache. It is long lasting.

Amour, Michele

This smells very very similar to Very Hollywood by Michael Kors. Wore this in high school back in the day.

flowermom

another scent i bought when it first came out & used for many years on & off, never a "signiture scent" of mine but i enjoyed its "cleaness", a really easy scent to wear, i got more comments about this perfume from women tho, as opposed to men!!, good lasting power, nothing really offensive about this scent, but again nothing that really makes me feel "smiley" when im wearing it if that makes sense, another perfume i have sitting on my dressing table but i wear it only accasionally now.

eilismaireg

A really nice floral fruity fragrance which smells 'clean' without being sterile or smelling like loo cleaner. It is very pleasant and easy to wear, romantic and great for the summer. It has very good sillage and longevity too. Might buy it in the summer.

mimosabee

I love this perfume. Smooth and soothing. I think hyacinth dominates this perfume which is something I adore...
