Figuier Eden by Giorgio Armani is a Aromatic Fruity fragrance for women and men. Figuier Eden was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Christine Nagel. Top notes are Bergamot, Pink Pepper and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Fig, Tea and Grass; base notes are Iris and Amber.

The exclusive fragrance collection Armani Prive by Armani, its Les Eaux section to be precise, expands with a new edition in 2012—Figuier Eden. The new fragrance is inspired by the scents of Mediterranean gardens, pristine nature, olive and fig trees which bear different historical symbolism.

The composition opens with fresh notes of mandarin, bergamot and red pepper. Accords of tea, grass and green fig for the perfume’s heart, laid at the base of Moroccan iris and amber.

The fragrance is available as 100 ml EDT.

Trying to lean into the more *greenish* fig and this one kept popping up. Its a pleasant super grassy figgy opening, light and airy beginning, then I get a blast of pepper. Not a huge fan of peppery scents but if it's subtle enough, I don't mind it with certain stuff. It didn't bother me too much.

Then I definitely get a nice soft bergamot (not screechy or cleaning solution whatsoever) with the tea, it just all started to meld together so well....

And then it's gone. Completely gone. Where did it go? Did I even spray it this morning? Was I dreaming? I thought maybe this would be the summer scent of the year for me, but not if the longevity is THAT short. I don't think I've ever had a scent disappear that fast before. I am presssssing my nose in my arm and I can't smell a thing. Disappointed.

Loose Goose

Surprisingly strong and dark fig, with a slight bitter greenness to it. Definitely worth it if you like figs, but it's not personally my favourite.

natashaandika

To me, gris charnel is a cozy, almost melancholic fig fragrance, and I picture rainy days when I smell this. It is creamy and warm, and it gives a 'cool girl' aura when I see girls wearing it. But Figuier eden is the opposite--it's a sophisticated, uplifting fig scent, it is happy and serene. its not as sparkling as un jardin en mediteranee, its calmer and as the person below put it, more 'muted'. Yes it is not complex and quite linear, but it is a high quality, very smooth and exceptional fragrance.

MellieW

This is such a a wonderful scent, I just wish it were a bit stronger and lasted longer for the price. After about 3 hours I couldn't smell it anymore. Feminine and spicy/fruity; if you like very muted fragrances this is for you.

Annata

I’m in LOVE with this fragrance. It so yummy , fresh, fruity, herbal, cozy and sweet at the same time. It is a happy scent.
It projects so well and lasts forever on my skin.
I see myself wearing this every season, bc it can be easily a signature scent.

Emmetsmom

I found this super cheap fig edc in Marshall’s about 6/12 months ago called salted green fig, and it smells similar to this. Very, sweet. Armani is nice but not *holy grail* for me.

Kubilayturan

I love fig base fragrances and I have quite a few of them. This one is cery similar to Ferrari Noble Fig with much better longevity and overal better performance. Quite nice, dry fig leaf note wirh a slightly sweet undertone and woody base. It’s linear scent but lasts forever on my skin. (That’s very rare). I sprayed it on to my hand around 18:00 PM, now it is 15:00 PM and I can still smell it easily. I washed my hands several times in the mean time. It’s a suprisingly great performer on my skin.

zefragrancec

herbal, aromatic and less sweet than expected i was expecting a juicier fig but i get more of a under ripe scent and more clean than what i was expecting, smells kinda like an expensive face cream or a spa.

adahn

I also get a dominant dill note from Figuier Eden unfortunately. Dry down is so much classier and better than the initial opening of peppercorn and dill mix.

Very similar to Purple Fig by Vilhelm and nothing like Debaser.

Tembacat

I looooved this when it first went on. Fresh and bright fig. As it dries down it becomes a softer, more delicate fig. It's beautiful, but it feels like a less complex Debaser by D.S. & Durga. That being said, this is perhaps a bit fresher and not so heady, and therefore more accessible. Beautiful for a summer scent in particular.

Gigi mala

Amazing fragrance for spring and summer.
The juicy fig blends perfectly with a subtle iris note which gives it a more elegant tone than the usual playful fruit.
If you like fig fragrances you should definitely check this one out!

belleofnewyork

I really like this. It's fruity and green, but not too sharp. It's got just enough sweetness and depth to make it nicely balanced. It isn't challenging, so it's suitable to wear anywhere.

LulaValentine

I’d love to try this if anyone is willing to send me a decant! Message me and we’ll work out the details. 🙂

OceanLife

I came to smell the Yulong, ended up loving this too it. I want both. Pretty pricey, but if I can splurge on Philosykos, I’m sure I can save up for them. By the way, this is a very feminine scent to my nose. Super green, fresh, and summery.

Xela_529

One of my favorite fig fragrances! I love Figuier Eden so so much. She's juicy but so FRESH all at the same time. She smells fantastic. This makes me feel so happy!. The addition of iris & amber is also very interesting to me; really rounds everything out. She has decent longevity & projection as well. 8/10. Give her a try if you like fig!

fragmig

It is not very fresh or green on my skin actually, but a very cosy, good smell. A happy one :) It also reminds me something familiar, but I don’t recognize what excactly... maybe some other well known perfume. Or other fig perfumes. Or maybe I feel that this fragnance has a potential of becoming popular. For some reason it smells like classics, and I believe it should appeal to many people. I would even say it is a safe blind buy

Ground hound

A dill farm.
Very green, and about the fig- it`s more of a fig skin- the one with the grassy taste.
The real down part for me is that this perfume smells like dill. Once you spot it, you can`t get rid of this note.
As an experienced gardener I always try to spot the notes and compare them to their real life prototypes (-most of them do not really smell alike). So here I tried to identify the "Green"
What does it strongly remind me of? Grass does not smell like this and neither does green tea.

It is dry green dill the one sold as a spice. Dry dill has a very recognisable smell- and this is it.
If you have this perfume do not go to the supermarket to buy a jar of dry dill, coz you will smell it in this forever.
Yet another example of a very apparent note missing from the visual pyramid.
Overall - not bad, green, light but finishes with a base of a sweet ambery aftershave.

iszzieanna

Figuier Eden - this has quickly become a huge like of mine. This could also be a signature scent. FE has all the facets of a stunning fig fragrance. First the opening is sparkling pepper and very green. It is incredibly smokey on my skin for the first few minutes. The tea and fig combination follow almost immediately after. It’s a milky fig with a beautifully delicate iris note. There is also a creamy sandalwood to this. This is like Gris Charnel’s younger and more fresher cousin

Chris v.V.

A generous member gifted me a sample. As it has a tea note (I like tea fragrances), I was curious to try it. Heavy fig at first then, as another reviewer noted, it turns to a powdery iris. I don’t know how else to describe this other than, “it pinches my nose”. I get the same thing with Diptyque’s Philosykos and Prada’s Iris. I need to stay away from perfumes with fig &/or Iris, even if they do have tea in them.

Cherry08

Walked in to test rouge malachite, walked out with this.

ckorp8

On skin it opened with a fig tea combo. Unfortunately it turned all to quickly to iris, a note I don’t altogether enjoy. On clothing it opened with sharp citrus which receded into soft tea scent. After a short while fig appeared with iris, hand in hand. Overall a not too bad fig scent. Soft but way too light to project. One really need to over spay this for realistic usage. The skin sample was gone under four hrs. Clothing still projecting after seven hours. And at twelve hrs it was still skin scent on my sleeves.

This is totally the opposite of Philosykos which is too in your face with its greenness.

Cynthia30

It is a beautiful perfume but too light and fleeting.
I've tried moisturising my skin, spraying on clothes, hair etc... Doesn't work. Trying layering with JHAG Not a Perfume and also Criminal elements blackwater thistle but they just overpower this.

My clothes smell like creamy sandalwood. Hair smells like green freshness and sandalwood. The fig is always there but it's not an in your face fruity presence. If this was an extrait, I would highly recommend.

I will finish this one very quickly. Will probably get Gris charnel after that.

Anteatereatingant

Sadly, this follows the trend of 'signature-worthy fig perfumes are hard to find'!

Most fig perfumes suffer either from minimal performance, or they've got so much other stuff chucked in there that they're basically not fig anymore.

This one is the former. Good (and interesting) scent, weak performance. Almost immediately becomes a skin scent (at least in summer weather, but...you wouldn't walk around smelling like a fig tree at Christmas, would you?). Lasts a few hours at this skin-scent level.

The scent itself is greener and more naturalistic than most fig perfumes. It's quite similar to Philosykos, but less 'creamy' and more...dry-smelling. If Philosykos is the fig tree after the rain, FE is the fig tree smack down in the middle of scorching Mediterranean summer - intensely green but dry, the air around it almost shimmering from the heat. It's so green it almost flirts with herbal here and there.

Overall I wouldn't buy - especially for that price. So Pearl by Mancera is still the only TRULY good fig frag - as we were! (I don't count Womanity as it's basically not fig, spectacular as it is)

EDIT: I can't believe people are voting 'YES' for Fico di Amalfi but 'NO' for Philosykos! It's exactly the other way around - it smells nothing like FDA and quite a bit like Philosykos' drier, even more bitter/green cousin.

JmThms

NOT one of the better of a group of fig scents I have, including the sweeter, more citrusy Aqua di Parma Blue Mediterraneo Fico di Amalfi, Ferrari Noble Fig, Diptyque Phylosicos, or the more leaf/bark greenery of Dior Dune. Even Dolce&Gabbana K EDP, with its fig nectar note, is more enjoyable imo. The added grass and tea notes, as noted below, give an added earthiness that is not inherent to a fig tree. This detracts from rather than enhances this fig scent. At least Dior Dune's earthy greenery is a photorealistic fig tree.

novaklara98

Well blended, but painfully boring.

Martin__

To me this smells like a fig green tea with some fig leafs and a pinch of ripe fig fruits infused center.

Actually the whole background here to me is tea. Soft, delicate, high quality green tea. It is backed up with a decent amount of iris - but iris here does not show up itself powdery, rather creamy instead. The fig here is not as juicy as e.g. in Philosykos, but as essential. Very authentic, exquisite and beautiful.

I think it’s a little bit denser and heavier than Philosykos is, but just a bit. Longevity on my skin is well over 7 hours, projection is moderate.

I do agree that Figuier Eden is more classy, less playful and possibly might be a good match to pair with a suit for a formal summer event. However it is universal in my opinion and can be worn casually as well.

hsiangchi.huang

A light, green, aquatic, refreshing fig fragrance!

Out of all the fig perfumes I've tried, Diptyque's Philosykos would be #1, Jo Malone Fig & Lotus #2, and this comes third. These are all on the green and pleasingly refreshing side. Philosykos is sweeter, as it captures more of the ripe fruit, green leaves, and creamy sap. Armani's fig is a bit more aquatic, and not as sweet (hence not as real). It's still very likely and wearable for spring/summer.

sarahjhellman

I hoped for a creamy fig-scent but two hours in I only get CHIVES?! :(

emerson10

A nice aromatic fig. I enjoy it enough, have nothing neg to say, but no wow factor. Not something I'd sniff in a store or on someone and say I MUST HAVE THAT.

For that price tag, I should be saying "I MUST HAVE THAT"

Liz-frag

It does smells like baby diapers , but clean one !
Refreshing , white and pure , but it might not please everyone .

SamM1971

Beautiful fig based scent! Really!!! The blend is out of this world! I have had them all and this one is the most versatile, best performing and wearable yet complex. Love the accompanying green notes here (tea and aromatic leaves), love the combination of fig and iris (that pair will remind you of the Ferrari's Noble Fig a bit). Great use of pink pepper in the opening, not to spicy but gives it a little more aromatic qualities. This smells classy, expensive and can be worn day/night, business/casual, year round (though winter is not the best season for it, I guess). Overall, this is the best there is. Try it and give it a few wearings, the devil in in details here!!! If you find Fico de Amalfi too casual and a bit simplistic, Philosykos a bit too artistic and not performing well, this is your bet!!!

mctaboo

If they remove the Amber it would be perfect.. I usually dislike the first smell when I spray it, but this perfume does the opposite, it smells wonderful at first then the lingering smell of amber intensifies & becomes unbearable to me.

catswearingperfume

I almost blind bought a full bottle during a sale. I am glad I didn't.I wanted to smell this for a long time and finally got my hands on a sample.

It's not that I don't like this fragrance. In fact, it's one of the most beautifully done fig fragrances I've ever smelled. It's a gorgeous, clean, green fig. It evokes both the fruit and the leaf of the fig. It smells fresh, dewy, and has the lightest touch of sweetness. Nothing about it is synthetic or unbalanced. It's exactly the sort of fig scent I love.

Except for one thing. Projection. There is none.

There are a lot of people out there who adore and prefer scents that wear close to the skin. I am not one of them. I like my perfumes to have at least moderate projection, and there is absolutely none here.

If you love figs and like your scents to wear close to this skin, you'll love Figuier Eden. If you prefer to be able to smell your perfume without having to hold your wrist right up to your nose, skip this one. It will give you fig blue balls.

Less synthetic/bitter version of Elizabeth Arden Green tea Fig

noseyboysniffy

Ethereal, juicy, green, airy, delicious and perfect, Best fig in my book.

jreily88

Very bland and cheap smelling. I smell a very noticeable and cheap synthetic ingredient, likely datilat, that’s used to create the fig note. After that, nothing. Longevity is about 2 hours tops with this and projection is non-existent. This stuff is barely worth $20, let alone $175!

afanasyev

This is simply amazing.

Fig is hard to do well, but Armani has nailed it. The scent is masterfully blended, hyper-realistically reminiscent of when I was a child, I smelt the green, woody, creaminess from a fig freshly plucked, the ends of the stems spurting white sap.

Fico Di Amalfi comes close but it's not as "freshly picked" or vivid or earthy. Philosykos is too dewy and a bit acidic. Armani Prive's is the best.

marcel2782

'I wanted to know what it is like to be in the middle of the garden known as paradise' ", marketed Giorgio Armani about this one. As for the aroma, it is somewhere between the absurd verdant organicity of the Philosykos EDP and the fragrant milky creaminess of L'Artisan Premier Figuier Extreme. It's straight away possible to identify an aromatic homage to fig, since the fig-tree and the fruit coexist here since the opening. The aroma on the skin turns green, while on the nose and air is more scented and fruity - depending on the draft, the humidity and your perception, one can feel one or the other or both. As it dries, a slight saponaceous aspect is highlighted, but restrained by amber and wood. Excellent construction, has its own personality and very high quality. Projection dies fast in a hour.

drober15

Worth every penny.

I’m not a fig obsessive, but I own both this and Acqua di Parma’s Fico di Amalfi, and love them both. It is unmistakably similar to Fico di Amalfi, but there are some important differences. I won’t bother trying to assess which one is “better”, (again, I love them both) but Figuier Eden is certainly more sophisticated, complex, and office-friendly. It’s less juicy than Fico, and it doesn’t have that big apricot note in it either, but it’s more green (although, not too green), somewhat spicy, and almost aquatic without smelling like a freshie. Because of an excellent blending of notes, Figuier Eden smells both care-free and opulent - it’s flexible enough to be casual *and* elegant.

The bergamot, pepper, and fig are all clearly present from the moment Figuier is sprayed, and like all of the other Privé eaux I own, Figuier Eden projects well and has stunning longevity for an EDT (as do the AdP Blu Mediterraneo line, if we’re continuing the comparison). As many other reviewers have pointed out, the fig in this fragrance is designed with harmony in mind, despite maintaining the feature role its namesake denotes. I’m not sure I’ve encountered that before, and I really like it (I’ve never tried Philosykos or Noble Fig). I haven’t found the iris in Figuier yet, but I do get the slight bitterness of tea, and the amber lays a nice foundation for all of the other notes without overpowering them and turning this into an amber-forward scent. To my nose, the real payoff comes after an hour or so, when a perfectly ripe (and not overpowering) orange rind comes forward to round out the overall scent and to help it gently radiate. The orange note comes on beautifully without crowding out or taking away any of the other notes, and although I’m neither a chemist nor an expert on fragrances, I can imagine that this is not an easy feat to accomplish, and it’s impressive.

I see Figuier Eden as perfectly unisex and seasonally versatile. It can work comfortably for every season, although it would be a less-than-obvious choice for winter. I think this is a fantastic scent that is clearly worthy of all the high marks it receives.

smunitz

Fig done right!
If you ever smelled Noble Fig by Ferrari, you could say this is the luxury version done to perfection. I am not a big fan of fig but this is blended so well and just smells so expensive that I could not resist. Fig note is a synthetic one, so the challenge is always to make it strong enough to last and yet not too strong to avoid getting cloying. This does just that! Good projection and longevity for EDT. Fig and Iris play major roles in this one. There are green notes on the background (but not tart, bitter fig leave green like in Phylosykos), very smooth and most likable out of all fig fragrances I know. Overall very safe choice for summer scent, unisex, can dress it up and down. The fig note here is very refined and exquisite, so if you don't like fig frags, still give this one a try: most likely, like me, you'll end up buying it :)

First try of my sample and not impressed. Will finish my sample and that's all folks. Not enough smell or longevity to suit my taste and I love the smell of greenery and Figue. This does not satisfy either.

sebadancer

I am a perfume enthousiast with currently 25 bottles. 183cm/6foot muscular. My nose is not trained to identify notes but what I love is oud, encens, leather and sandalwood. Dark, rough, on your face.
From the same collection I have oud royal and I love it so much that I had to put my nose on every other scent of the collection.

This is so against my usual tastes but when I smelled this for the first time, the time stopped. I am so in love with it. On my skin the pink pepper projects a lot, giving a nice spicy body to the sweetness of the fig. I get so many compliments when I wear this. It draws people in, they get a whiff, and come closer to burry their nose in my neck... It isn't a power house fragrance, it is light and summery, so I don't expect it to last 8 hours. I get 4 hours with it but it doesn't bother me. Get a refillable pocket spray to reapply. Worth every euro! Heaven in a bottle..

atarilynx

The comparisons are true... Smells almost exactly like my beloved Ferrari Noble Fig. Which means it smells amazing. Citrus opening with fig and green. I could swear this has clary sage even though it isn't listed. I do think Figuier Eden has more longevity and projection, which is interesting given these are both EDT.

However, given that Noble Fig is currently under 1/4 the price of this, I'll go with the Noble Fig.

emre

super fresh opening with fig in the bottom... but just for 20 min.s then all disappear like a summer love :D

Neosmiaphyte

Green fig with tea and pepper with a green musky drydown

Solar Girl

I will emphasize "On my skin..." because I am reading the reviews and don't understand whether we smelled the same fragrance.
- on my skin there is no green grass nor tea (or a teeny tiny bit)
- and it is not soft, fresh, fruity garden.

But instead it is very sexy- in a shameless way, bodily, long lasting, spicy Madame Fig.
Fig that is interpreted in a way Mugler did his Womanity, minus the salt and plus musk or ambergris.
I was sure there was tons of ambergris, later I saw it is amber. Nonetheless, this amber is one hell of an amber.

Here is the description from the official site:
"Opening with vibrant top notes of citrus zest and pink pepper, Figuier Eden expresses a velvety green fig accord that softens into powdery Moroccan Iris notes punctuated by spicy mineral accents, finishing with warm notes of wood and amber." => I sense some citrus in the opening, pink peper, Fig, iris, spice (a lot), wood, amber.
How that green grass and tea came here, don't know.

Anyways, the notes are not important. What is important is how this juice behaves on my skin, how naughty, unique and brilliant it is.

Instant love. High on my Wish list <3

noseyboysniffy

Pink Pepper= Odor profile: Although technically a pepper berry, it doesn't smell spicy, but rosy. A very popular modern accent piece in fragrances that provides a contemporary rosy note without veering into powdery or retro. Mollifies woodies and synthetic ambers and is featured often in fruity florals. ~Fragrantica~ Pink Pepper is not spicy.....

dsty

At least to my nose, Figuier Eden absolutely lives up to its ambitious name: it's fig-scented heaven in a bottle. Fig is my favourite note and I've tried and loved many quite diverse interpretations of it over the last few years, but this one must be among the very best.

It's very high quality, very smooth - there's really nothing sharp about it at all, not a single moment when a note or accord seems out of place. The first few times I tried it, the combination of fig, tea and pink pepper reminded me of Bvlgari's Eau Parfumée Au Thé Rouge, which I also love, but that resemblance is there only very briefly in the early heart. Thé rouge is dryer and spicier with its red tea, and a lot less smooth than this one. Here, the
the fig itself is more prominent, with its sweetness wonderfully enhanced and balanced by the green notes. The pink pepper is noticeable, but it doesn't jump out to make the scent spicy at all, it just adds a bit of depth, making the whole thing even more addictive.

The only slight negative is that it doesn't project very well on my skin, but that can be remedied with a couple of extra sprays, and it does last all day. My wishlist is already overburdened, but I'm moving Figuier Eden directly to the top of it...I'm looking forward to spending the warmer months with it.

galoguiu

Great fragrance summer!

coluboi

Tried this over the last few days and man this jumps off of my skin! Its September and I had people complaining this was too loud for them!? :O I had 3 sprays and it seemed to much. I really enjoyed it but the people around me did not :/ This gets a 7/10 from me.

Victoria Regia

This smells mostly of sweet tea with a soft minty cloud hovering over it. There is a bit of fig, but it remains in the background. I also sense a tiny bit of a swede-like note, giving it a bit of weight. However, the stars of this fragrance seem to be the sweet tea and the powdery mint. It reminds me a lot of Bvlgari Au The Rouge. This scent makes me think of my dad kissing me in the cheek before leaving for work, after he was done grooming in the morning. He never wore any fragrance, but I would smell a freshly showered hug, crisp clean clothes, toothpaste, clean breath, shaving cream and brylcreem. At times, it also smells like a high-end department store, in the best sense possible. This scent is also softly sweet, like powdery sugar. I bought a bottle two weeks ago and have worn it every day since. Two sprays - one in the back of a hand and the other in the small of my back. At some point, I wasn't smelling it anymore, but a co-worker complimented me on it several hours after I had applied it. Overall, this is a beautiful, gentle and expensive-smelling scent. EDIT: a female colleague at work kept complimenting my scent every time I wore this. I decanted some of it into a new Sephora Travalo and gave it to her as a gift. She was thrilled and began wearing it herself. Well, she smelled pretty great, but like a man! After noticing that, I was never able to wear this fragrance again. It completely ruined it for me. I will ask my brother-in-law if he wants my bottle as I suspect he would like it.

I love this, it's a gorgeous green fig. Beautiful. Fresh and gentle, lovely and sweet - it's such a realistic fig. And the green grass and tea are so calming and soothing, and refreshing. It's really gorgeous. And it lasts well on me - 10 hours.....more actually, and I get lots of compliments too, especially from men. I love it! It's so feminine!

dtpt4646

Recently purchased a full bottle of this, and I must say that although it smells ok it is very weak. It does have a true fig scent and it does remind me of the mediterranean, but it is far too watery and short lived for the price. Needs more depth x

Malthus101

This is NOTHING like Fico Di Amalfi lol...

This is a much softer, more elegant and completely different smell. FDA is poppy, pungent like toilet products (I own it, loved the smell in the shop but as I'm finding with all ADP frags, they tire very quickly and I keep wanting to sell them)

Try this Armani fig - if you're like me, you'll remember it's uniqueness and keep coming back for another smell.

Then you'll buy it.

I don't wear it often as it's quite light but... it's a beautiful composition.

sstiptonpokemon

Though I have worn this a few times and liked it, I must say save your money and buy Fico Di Amalfi by Acqua Di Parma. I feel hesitant to call it a dupe as it made by hand by old Italian men in the Italy so you should know you are not compromising quality. Another note to my fellow North Americans is Acqua di Parma is everywhere in Italy and is very highly esteemed for their perfumes. Though the Armani version is great, Fico di Amalfi is just as good if not better.

burninginrome

As a man I went ahead and bought the bottle on a blind guess. Initially I got it and appreciated the scent but felt it was to feminine for me. I went ahead and wore it a few times and I kid you not women have hovered extremely close to me and asked what I was wearing more than any other scent I've worn. If we're honest with ourselves we wear scents for others too, not just ourselves.

As for the scent it has just enough sweet to keep things balanced yet it's not sugary in the scent either, but the "green" is very fresh and clean and the fig is def there.

The more I wear it the more I'm glad I made this purchase. It has me looking for something else in the Armani Prive line.

Also, this lasts all day, don't care what anyone says, they're probably suffering from nose fatigue.

Beyonder

Beautiful evening summer scent but unfortunately the longevity is a little weak on me.

libou

Very good scent for spring or summer. Fruity, juicy and crusty. More feminine than masculine.different of habituals summer scent. A big love

Stella-Maris2

Very nice; warm. Dries down a little soapy for my taste.

I bought this perfume yesterday from the Giorgio Armani boutique and regretted it already. The longer I wear it, the stronger the menthol oil/ tiger balm smell comes forward. I don't smell fig at all! The longevity and sillage are decent, but that just means people can smell this bad oil scent from me from a meter away. Will probably stop wearing this from now on and give it away.

Opens rather typically for a fig centered perfume, woody-green milky almost coconutty fig and fig leaf. Fig leaf very prominent at first. There is a very persistent, strong, and strange note like mint or menthol. During the drydown the perfume becomes more fruity and becomes tangy. This perfume seems to explore all facets of fig, and past the menthol note, it´s actually quite delicious. However, that really minty note seems to take over and dominate. It´s bracingly fresh and clean feeling but not what I want out of a fig centered perfume.

Overall it´s a nice cooling and fruity summer scent but I still prefer Wild Fig and Cassis from Jo Malone for a fig centered perfume. But I must say the Armani has better lasting power and given that the Jo Malone is now discontinued I may rethink this one.

I bought this scent today. I smelled it in the store and immidately "Went to" the greek cycladic islands and back!! Smells like beautiful mediterranean gardens, takes you to summer, oh my god!!! Im mediterranean myself, i felt right away that this is someting for me :)

Sweet and green, Figuier Eden cuts through heat and humidity like a knife through butter. This is the perfume equivalent of gulping down a big glass of citrus and fig infused iced tea after cutting the grass on a sweltering Sunday.

This is a great "designer style" scent. Perfect for dressing up.
Mostly i get a minty sweetness. A little peppery, almost sparkling. Sometimes i get sweet figs. Other times the fresh and sweet minty effect it creates.
Performance is great, no complaints.
The only thing i have with it is everytime i wear this, i do enjoy it but after a while i,ve got enough of it.
It,s like making a commitment with this scent for a looong day because it just keeps going. I could not wear this everyday.
But then, another day and occasion in the future is waiting, where i shall pick up this bottle and enjoy it again. Special occasion scent.
Great scent

Juma

Bitter and earthy, intimate and bold at same time.
It's men fragrance, more then unisex, IMHO. I got no creaminess, nore fresh scent of grass, but dry smokiness.
I could imagine it's a treasure for someone, but not for me this time. I'm looking forward to try other Armani Prive's.

"Figuier Eden" opens with a scent which is full of opportunity and optimism. Bergamot, mandarin and pink pepper imbue a sweet citrus blending with a faint hint of piquant spice. A strong scent of luscious fig comes rushing forth soon after. It is a pulpy, juicy, and succulent with a honeyed sweetness. Faint nuances of milky coconut facets are noticeable, evoking the creamy sap from the fig tree's stems. A verdant green quality dances in and out of focus via notes of green tea and fresh grass which to me perfectly capture the serpiginous bordered fig leaf. Beautiful Moroccan iris with its grey and powdery tonalities help to balance out the fruity sweetness of the fig. Its addition was masterful to me as without it I feel the fragrance would have fallen into the realm of too sickly sweet for most. The base is composed of amber and woods. Overall the scent seems well fitted to the summer months, but I could see the scent also being worn in spring and autumn. Slightly more feminine than masculine due to the fruity, sweet notes of the fig, however it can easily be worn by either sex. As with the rest of the Armani / Privé "Les Eaux" collection, sillage and projection are moderate to light while longevity seems to be somewhat above average. (Re review)

Creamy, fresh, uplifting bouquet in the top with notes of fig and bergamot.

The fig note persists throughout the progression of this scent, supported by iris and amber gently in the dry down.

It is a comfort scent.... perfect for when one is in the mood to mull on life, or just soaking up the sun's rays on a cool spring morning.

Perfectly unisex!

This is a beautiful fragrance as are many of the Prive range but you know what? I wish Armani would just put this kind of effort into the main fragrance line instead of churning out a parade of soulless flankers of Code and Acqua di Gioia.

This actually beats Fico di Amalfi in my humble opinion.

tr_bg

Amazing fragrance. Smells just like the fig trees in our garden.

MLK

Figuer Eden is a lovely soft peppery green scent. I get a lot of the pepper to start off with and some woods. After a while I start to smell a bit of fig but it is not prominent on my skin say as Philosykos. The opening reminds me more of Diptyque's Eau de Lierre which I also love. The fig note seems dry and woody (very similar to Acqua d Parma's, Fico di Amalfi which I also love) but I love Figuer Eden as it is very refreshing and I am really enjoying collecting different variations of fig scents. Easily a unisex fragrance and I'm very happy to have this in my collection.
Also, I have to say it did last a long time on my skin, I could still get some whiffs if it the following morning. This is a must try especially if you like fig perfumes!

Arsenal Till I Die

@apixiefan I was going to write a review on this but take a bow! You've summed up my thoughts on this perfectly, one of my all time favourites!
Was love at first sniff. A real nice alternative to aquatics for the summer and spring months. Will always have a bottle of this.

spoombung

It's a very good fig scent, closest to L'Artisan Premier Figuier Extreme, not as coconut-y as Diptyque Philosykos or as intensely floral/fruity as Hermes un jardin en mediterranee and certainly not as violently patchouli as something like Kokorico.

There is a major difference, however, This one costs twice the price of those others.

lulabros

One of the best fragrances i' ve ever smelled (together with Vetiver Babylone). It transforms to a 'crazy' drydown.
Must smell!

Like Houdini4, I too am irresistibly drawn to fig scents and I have quite a few in my collection.

This beautiful Armani Prive’ creation is probably my current favourite of the lot just beating out Premier Figuier Extreme by L`Artisan Parfumeur.

I think the absence of any kind of coconut (which is usually paired with fig in fragrances) or sweet gourmand notes is what currently attracts me to this so much. It’s very fresh, but not in the least what I would class as either aquatic or insubstantial. I can clearly detect the presence of orange oil, a little bit of tea and some fresh cut grass notes, but I do have trouble picking up any iris whatsoever.

The amber and pepper in the base are also clearly detectable and are what I think gives this its definite unisex appeal. While the sillage is light I have no problem at all with the longevity which does last well over 7 hours on my skin. It’s also a compliment getter if you care about such things.

This is going to get a lot of use from me in the coming Australia Summer.

scentdoctor

a very earthy fig, like rain on asphalt. i wish i could just bathe in this. i would buy it but the problem is with projection and longevity, there really isn't much

invasion22

This is quality quality perfume, it is green yet fresh yet sweet , a strange combination yet remarkable outcome.

I usually only buy EDP and avoid EDT however the SA assured to me that this is a long lasting perfume. Well she was right however the sillage is very poor. It stays so close to the skin or on your clothes. Spray it in the morning and smell next when taking top off.

Wish they produce one with better sillage. This perfume made me hunt for other fig based perfumes.

Figuier Eden to me is magical, pure and heavenly! The SA at the Armani counter was wearing this when she guided me around, and I simply couldn't stop sniffing her. On her this fragrance was ultra feminine and light, and after a few more times of sampling it, I knew it had to be mine.

Wearing this scent makes me feel like I'm wandering through the Garden of Eden, which means that Armani did a great job as that was the intention with this frag. My God! I haven't smelt anything quite like this before. It's a bit expensive (compared to others) but I think it's totally worth it for a scent of this quality. I am so lucky to have it in my collection. I'll wear it anytime all year, but I instantly think of Summer or Spring in flowy dresses and romantic evenings. It lasts ALL day on my skin too! Beautiful!

PS! I made 3 of my friends smell this on me yesterday and they all loved it! One of them thought it was Diptyque by Philosykos, but that's not available in Norway so I have not been able to test to compare.

UPDATE: Figuier Eden is similar to Philosykos, but without the coconut creamyness, and FE has more of a green, fresh fig feel to it imo. I can see Figuier Eden being worn by both women and men, but I since my first encounter with it was smelling it on a beautiful female SA, I guess it has influenced my impression of it being more on the feminine side.
Worth to try out if you're into airy, green and beautifully soft scents that will stick with you the whole day!

Fizzy

Once I bought a fig perfume on the Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany.
It was on the French stand and they sold 250 ml Fig spray from no name french company for 10 €. Figuier Eden smells very, very similar, little bit less lush and less sweet and a bit green, but the SAME SMELL. Watch out and save your money, this is unbelievable overpriced juice. I am SHOCKED, how greedy the company is.
I sprayed it at 1 o'clock PM and at 3.30 PM the scent was completely gone.

Houdini4

I don't know what it is about me a fig based scents but we seem to be drawn to each other like some sort of fatal attraction. Strange really despite the usual feminine association.
Interesting that the review below compares this to Fico di amalfi and naturally who wouldn't make the connection.
However as somebody who has the ADP and loves it I must admit Figuier Eden is better.
Not that I see this as 'high end' compared to the Fico in truth most of the Armani Prive line are pretty lackluster for the price.
The opening of this scent is really good, fresh, juicy and bursting out of the bottle, with the addition of iris which to me really makes the fig pop!
Fico is a little watery and subdued in comparison, to me more suited to summer, where as I see the Armani as being a little more versatile.
The drydown of Figuier is more powdery and you definitely get the iris contributing to a longer lasting scent on the skin.
The verdict is good...very good if you like figs you could do a lot worse than this but arguably better too.

finzi

Every time I try this scent I come away feeling it is nothing more than a high-end clone of Fico di Amalfi. Slightly less citrus and a tad warmer in the base (I get a lot of grapefruit from Fico di Amalfi), but otherwise so alike it's startling. Longevity is a little better with Figuier Eden, projection isn't much different. The difference in price for two such similar scents is staggering. Personally, I opt for Fico di Amalfi; it's got such a great grapefruit kick to it, I can't get enough of it in the summer.

Try them side by side and I think you'll see my point!

zola0203

Lovely, this is my first fig frag so I have little frame of reference with this note but Figeur Eden is very fresh and fruity without being too sweet (I think the woodsy notes help control this).
The sillage is subtle but effective, and longevity around 6-7 hours max on my skin.

Overall I do think this is lovely, but it's nothing special and, from what I've read, there's probably similarly lovely fig frags out there at a fraction of the price.

Absolutely Gorgeous. The fig is somewhat bitter but the touch powdery vibe from the iris helps carry it through so smoothly. It has a very nice leafy and green feel to it. I still find philosykos to be more "leafy" smelling but I have and enjoy them both. Two thumbs way up from me for Fig Eden!

Londonchick

The perfumers at Armani have excelled here. Green figs but not too bitter or sharp with a hint of sweetness. Good longevity and lovely representation of fresh green fig here. Quite beautiful but ....While it really is well crafted
I cant help thinking I need something "more" to get it over the line. Perhaps something more creamy ?? I dont smell the tea note, but I'd like to ! Overall this is very good but it could be sublime with a few tweaks !
Edit- this is very linear to me and 5-6 hours later it hadnt changed to a cheap soapy fig or faded to nothing like some fig fragrances do. Thumbs up !

CatBlanc

Figuier Eden is not a coconut-y fig fragrance, like you'd encounter in Marc Jacobs for man. It is not really a green fig like Diptyque Philosykos either.

Figuier Eden is alluring, sexy and 100% unisex. The fragrance is well composed and is deliciously intriguing. It opens with an airy burst of figs and bamboo-ish note. As the fragrance mingles with the warmth and saltiness of skin, it gets more intense and smokey. I can almost smell incense, but not at all powdery or nose twitching. Finally it settles into the skin with a velvety iris wrapped around you.

I absolutely love this new take on figs. Instead of making fig note front and centre, here it sings in harmony with spice and smells of the nature. I would recommend to anyone who loves fig scents or looking for a new summer perfume.

melancholybaby

Tried this today in the store; an interesting scent, and it truly reminds me of figs, particularly in the beginning. The dry-down is lightly sweet, and it has excellent longevity. I would like to try it again before I consider a purchase; not sure I like it enough for that, but it is certainly a well made and interesting scent.

Gelsomino

just tried in Rinascente Milano, very nice, it reminds me to Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Fico di Amalfi, my favourite fragrance, even if a little bit more complex an less fresh.

bambino_profumo

I have already Armani Prive Ambre Soie and love it. Now this one's must have 4 me, sounds interesting and absolutely love the bottle.
