Perfume rating 3.82 out of 5 with 16,928 votes
Si by Giorgio Armani is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for women. Si was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Christine Nagel. Top note is Cassis; middle notes are May Rose and Freesia; base notes are Vanilla, Patchouli, Woody Notes and Ambroxan.
According to Women's Wear Daily: "Australian actress Cate Blanchett has been confirmed as the new face of Giorgio Armani Parfums, a division of L’Oréal Luxe. Blanchett, who is rehearsing for a play with Isabelle Huppert at the Sydney Theatre Company, will be the face of an advertising campaign for a new eau de parfum called 'Sí' that will hit shelves at the end of the summer. The confirmation comes after weeks of unsubstantiated buzz following press reports about a fragrance collaboration between the actress and Giorgio Armani, who have a long-standing professional relationship. Blanchett has often worn Armani creations on the red carpet and openly expressed admiration of him."

‘Elegance in a bottle’ is the only way to describe this! So beautiful!
danilodeathayde
Si opens intensely with sugary vanilla and blackcurrant, but the woodiness with a touch of freshness keeps everything balanced and elegant, considering it’s a considerably sweet perfume.
Personally, I'm not a fan of sweet perfumes, especially those heavy on vanilla, but this is a beautiful exception. Despite the fruity sweetness of cassis (a relative of blackcurrant), it doesn't seem too young to me but rather adult, very feminine, and with a sensual side.
It's a perfume that reminds me of both young adults and women in their advanced 40s, making it quite versatile and one of the most modern chypres I know. Its cassis note is quite unique and recognizable, making this perfume lovely for adopting as a signature scent (though there's a possibility that some people might have an aversion to this note).
I understand the association with wine, but I don't feel the sharpness of the alcoholic drink that many mention. I feel more the sweet fruitiness of the wine, not the alcohol, as if we're taking the sugar from the fruit's fermentation and not the ethanol, like a prepared syrup or the thick liqueur of a port wine with a dessert-like smell, or the cassis liqueur I loved to have with papaya in my teenage years.
This is probably, so far, my favorite perfume from the Armani house.

something about this screams femininity, love it

I love love love this one! I have to spray about 10 x to get it to last. Reminds me of Jessica Simpson Fancy - But sweeter and lighter.
FlowerSeeker
A good perfume! Refined fruitiness is playful but not overpowering. The woods and vanilla are balanced. This says “classy” but not “snooty.” A bit of vintage vibe. I could wear this anywhere and always feel like I was scented for the occasion.
@Luilind says it smells like the flora and earthiness of a greenhouse and I agree!
Emiliaaa
Loveee this perfume!!!💛
Such a beautiful, cozy, feminine scent 🌸
Smells so fresh + sweet+ clean 🌻
🌸 Long lasting, not too strong/ intense
🌼 Safe - doesn't make my head hurt
🌻 Need about 2-3 sprays
🐝 Great for any season
🌊 Prefer for spring/ summer ☀️
Overall 9/10

Nice sweet scent with a noticeable patchouli. Works best for wintertime nights out and lasts long enough. Probably not a safe blind buy yet highly recommended.
laurenlittle
It smells inexplicably like one day it will smell outdated — not now, but eventually. Like a dated 90s perfume but not quite there yet.
Luilind
This smells exactly like a blooming greenhouse!
So I’ve had two experiences with Si.
A couple of years ago I went to a shop looking for a new scent, and the employee sprayed Si on my wrist and I did not like it one bit. All I got was screechy rose.
Today I received a 7ml bottle for free as part of campaign and I tried it at home. From the very first spray I’m getting the scent of a blooming greenhouse (or indoor garden center) with lily’s, tulips, roses, and leafy plants and even the hot and moist air in a greenhouse. If I think about the notes it’s the cassis and rose, and if I enjoy it as a whole - it’s a greenhouse in bloom.
I don’t get how people find Si to be fruity or similar to My Way.. To me, My Way is floral bubblegum marmalade.. this is a moist greenhouse

This fragrance is my reliable choice for daytime wear. It exudes an elegant, soapy aroma that's both inoffensive and feminine. While it's undeniably pleasant, it tends to play it safe. It's the kind of scent that could be perfect for a mother, striking the balance between sophistication and comfort.

not a fan, retirement home fragrance
Fruit-chan
Smells like sweet red wine to me.
Ziva99
Very mature scent. Opening to middle is a better version of MY WAY, lighter floral scents. Freesia and rose are well blended. Base notes are very woody and aromatic.
Non offensive scent and good for daytime in many seasons.
Today it is nothing groundbreaking but it’s a good scent. Just not my cup of tea.
EvaNicoleFragrance
Hikaru, you nailed it.
Reviewing an original formulation bottle (2015)…
My juice is now dark amber and smells as rich as it looks. It opens with a bright, tart and juicy black currant, followed quickly by a jammy rose made even more floral by fresh freesia. Before this begins to turn into a loud cacophonous potpourri, patchouli steps in to bring order and grounding. After a while, not a terribly long while, vanilla enters the scene. This is a bourbon vanilla, rich and warm but not gourmand.
This aged juice is heavy and well rounded. She has left her bright, sharp, yet lacking days in the past.
This is a woman of depth, refined. She always has something to say, but now she knows how to say it. She draws them in beautifully, authentically, and when she speaks, they listen.
frangiris
Sweet, very boring, totally forgettable.

I bought this perfume on a whim online thinking it was a more playful and youthful perfume but it turned out to be more mature than I thought.
Not in a bad way tho. If i can describe it in words it’s like a classy rich woman in her prime ( im thinking about mid 30s) that people know enough to fawn over but mysterious enough to disappear without a trace.
She still has that youthfulness and playfulness to her but more mature. Like that one lone classy woman your eyes glance at while abroad drinking coffee or tea.
It’s so similar to the perfumes my mom used to/sometimes still wear while going out so theres that familiarity and fondness to it so i can’t really say I don’t like it.
I’ll probably wear it when i want to seem more mature yet a bit mysterious.
Aquapinkmoon
There’s 1000% fruit like peach or apricot, so fruity and beautiful
emmisdagbok
I felt like the opening was way too overwhelming for me. Super strong and sweet. But it developed into a beautifully warm scent and I can't stop sniffing my arm. Smells like an old rich lady in the best way. I wouldn't personally wear this but I really like the drydown. Would be careful not to overspray
Biggest.Nose
It's passable... For myself it doesn't quite work; it reminds me of flowerbomb but weaker. Sort of an old grape smell as it dies off my skin...
Lidell
Yeah, nope.
Almost bought it based on the fresh, yumyum cassis opening, but soon realized that the drydown is that generic, yet screechy white floral thing I too often feel on women.
Unfortunately, while I very much enjoy cassis, I find generic, screechy white florals repulsive, so yeah, nope, sorry.
It does have a trail and some longevity though, yeeey.

this perfume is STUNNING.
i’ve never really liked fruity scents, for some reason i always go for the more gourmand fragrances but this time i decided to blind buy sì armani.
i was indecisive between the original scent and the passione version, but im SO happy i went for the original one!
it’s sweet, powdery, slightly sweet, it smells like the color golden, and just straight up expensive.
to paint a picture it reminds me of: golden heels, soft clean sheets, date nights, baby powder, champagne, red and pink roses, femme fatale, like a tattoo by sade, capri/positano.
i’ve gotten so many compliments when i’ve worn it, people stop me all the time to ask me what im wearing and let me tell you… the narciso rodriguez’s pure musc + sì by giorgio armani goes HARD.
they smell so good together! i usually do just two sprays of pure musc and then go ham with the sì, and they end up making this clean, creamy, powdery scent that makes heads literally turn and people stop.
i’d like to add that i find it perfect for all seasons, ESPECIALLY summer so i have no idea why it’s listed as a primarily wintertime fragrance. this fragrance is made to be a signature scent, its powerful and delicate at the same time.
i’m obsessed, the best blind buy perfume i’ve ever bought! ♡
Graciegrace
This smelled good when i was a teenager but as i grow older this becomes too sweet to my liking and there are many other brands having the same kind of smell. It smells ultra girly. The longevity stays forever all day. I still have to finish a 15ml bottle and i find it hard to find the occasion to wear it. I usually spray to my shirt way before i need to go out. Do not spray when it's scorching hot outside it will be really offensive.
beautyandbooks
This has been my signature scent for years. I think this is my 5th bottle so far. It's such an easy reach.
seliko
not a signature scent anymore due to how popular it is, however a staple in my collection. loved by all, versatile, easy, chic. when I'm unsure what I want for my daily scent, she's there for me. when I'm bored of her, I can take a break and when I come back she's just as beautiful as I remember. a rose-white floral blend with a woody undertone. structured as woody notes add a particular sexiness to a fragrance. patchouli adds a beautiful sharpness even though I struggle with it in most other perfumes.
I prefer the intense version for wintertime as it's denser. (heavier on patchouli and more syrupiness with the blackcurrant, although don't get me wrong, it's not a perfume that weighs on you.)
TulipSnake
I get why people love this. In fact I thought I would too and bought it. Tested it once and found out that this very much isn't for me.
I'm sure everyone remembers at least once (maybe as a child at a birthday party) eating way too many sweets and becoming so nauseous you're sure you'll be sick. Si is exactly that feeling in a bottle. It smells like Ribena and toddler vomit.
It is sweet and I LOVE sweet, it is strong, I would wear this all the time, if it wasn't for that very noticeable vomit-ish note. I think it's how the patchouli and the cassis play together that throws me off. So sadly, it's a No for me.
nisarsarah9
Smells lovely. Fruity and elegant! Gives off luxury vibes.
Kqxede
I love this so much. Ive been wearing this for almost 3 years and the compliments I have gotten are numerous. Its a very sweet feminine frangrance that its perfect for everyday use and signature scent!
luri4581
I don't think I've left an unfavourable review before, but just had to come here to say I had a bottle of this I had to give away. There was something so sickly about it that it made me AND my partner nauseous and headachey.
It's a hell no from us. But the red Si collection I find so beautiful!
Saveria
Not the best perfume ever but still lovely.
I don't find it too sweet at all, in fact I smell more of rose, amber, vanilla and a little fruity note (blackcurrant according to the ingredients) with a nice little wooded background.
Without being my favorite perfume, I find it pleasant and I wear it alternately with others, a little more opulent.
LedumPalustre
The first half an hour is just too strong, unbearable. Then it dries down to quite a nice scent - smells like a perfumed rich and classy old lady in her Italian mansion. Luxurious, heavy, sweet, mature.
Dlittlegarden
Warm, jammy, sticky currant + rose, booze, vanilla and woods. The patchouli boosts the sweet stickiness here - no funk. The rose feels more edible than floral. I feel grown and sexy when wearing this and know that my husband loves it too. Very feminine. Careful not to overspray.
On my "like" scale of 1<5, this is a 5.
saf_her
This is a classy mature scent. It smells very woody with notes of vanilla. A bit too strong for my taste, but I still adore this.
Aquinabc
reminds me of traditional old fashion perfume. definitely stay away if you hate patcholui

PrincessMarita
To me this perfume ended up being way too strong and bothering for my sensitive nose. It kind of has that grown up smell of a woman in her 40's. My younger sister however loves this so perhaps its just me and my nose.
I however agree with the accords as its not sweet and girly but rather on the other side of the scale, so if you're not into sweet I think it's worth a test (I personally enjoy sweet, fruity, soft and youthful fragrances).
Alenmarie

The opening is such a beautiful fresh rose on my skin. So beautiful, it reminds me of the rose note in the Elizabethan Rose from Penhaligon’s, one of my favorite perfumes. Over the time, it develops also other flower notes and a little bit of fruitiness, and lasts for about 4-5 hours. I totally understand why it’s so popular.
Atabey_H
Having a difficult time understanding why this perfume is popular. I smell mostly freesia and magnolia.
evavidal62
The Eau de Parfum: The EDT is light and sexy as a fruity floral, this one is a hot evening cologne for a confident mature woman who is going to get what she wants. It is not as romantic as the EDT. This one is feral and va-va-va-voom. This is sex in a bottle. Opens with the distinct black currant or cassis. It's like grapes on a vine. Smells like wine. Like a vineyard in Napa Valley wine region in California. The image it creates is that of an Italian Sophia Loren type of sexy beautiful brunette in a tight dress, showing off her voluptuous figure and breasts. The intoxicating wine note lingers. Then you detect nondescript floral notes of white flowers and rose. The white jasmine and freesia are in the heart and a May rose which is absolutely gorgeous when blended with the wine/currant. The florals turn sweet and just a touch powdery but before it can get too powdery it turns spicy and musky, with the green patchouli herbal aroma from the deep base. This is also woodsy by the dry down and can turn unisex. The dark woods, the patchouli, the musk, and a touch of dark vanilla, give this aroma an Oriental flair. Beautiful and long lasting. Strong, too. So one spray or two is enough. This is good for the winter and fall months. And classy, 'grown up' enough for formal affairs like dinner dates or a night out on the town if you want to smell romantic and feminine. Definitely for the over 30 crowd. This is a Woman smell. Love that it gives me a sexy aura when sprayed on with a sexy cocktail dress and make up and heels.
TheCandyperfumegirl
The first few minutes after spraying this Perfume all I can smell are some fruity-berry type notes. It's mouth watering juicy 😍 After almost 10 minutes this turns into some sort of mild jammy rose & sweet refreshing freesia . Then gradually it turns into a candid Vanilla-rose type Fragrance. In the end it's left with a vanilla and musky soft woody note. This stage reminds me of baked vanilla biscuits with hints of rose & caramel!! and this stage will last until you wash your clothes if you spray this on your clothes.
This is really a nice and classy fragrance. It's comforting and warm. It's also very feminine and elegant. This can be someone's signature scent without a doubt. But avoid using it during extremely hot and humid weather.
It's a compliment getter for sure. People will turn their heads to find out where this beautiful smell is coming from. Your man will also complement it as he'll find it comforting and welcoming. You can wear this for official meetings and events as well as for daily use. It's a nice fragrance when you're going out with your friends. It's suitable for almost every situation. Some even find this sexy yet sophisticated. So you can also wear this on your first date!!
It's a perfect balance of femininity warmth and elegance. Si means yes and truly you'll feel positive whenever you spray it.
I got almost 8+ hours on skin and 10+ hours on clothes. But you'll still be able to get the leftover smell from your clothes until you wash it.
Projection is heavy for first 1-2 hours. After that only people at a hands distance will be able to smell the fragrance. And whenever you pass by someone they'll be able to smell it. it's neither a skin scent nor too loud, it's a perfectly balanced fragrance. Perfect for colder weather but you can also easily wear it during summer nights.
She says YES to life!

I kept myself away from this - as much as I do generally from mainstream scents - and I got a sample of it, partial bottle. Well, I was wrong, it's actually quite lovely on me! It's a perfect spring date scent on my skin, even though I thought it would be too sweet. Vanilla, woods, cassis - in this order. Literally a hint of florals in the background and patchouli in the drydown that makes it a bit tart or bitter, but all in all it' s a bit like the natural scent of air in the springtime, blossoms+woods+something green.. Or maybe it's just a memory from spring - I definitely smelled it on a lot of girls a few years ago. Not sure if I want to buy a bottle of this for myself but it's quite pleasant sniffing it now..
Scorpio Queen
This was a dislike for me. Don't get me wrong it's a very feminine, pretty and well-made scent, and I'm sure I could appreciate it on someone at a distance and in the open air. Unfortunately, I can't tolerate it up close, on my own skin. The opening (to put it mildly) smells like cat's piss, there is no other way to describe it. It gets better in the dry-down but is still far too sweet and cloying for my taste.
UlianaM
It's a like, but the lasting power seems to be rrally weak.
When I got a sample I really liked it at first and even though of getting a bottle. I didn't get at that time and started using something else. The more I was using other the scents, the less unique this one seemed to me. It's similar to many other in the markets. An I personally don't think this price is justified for it . To me it's overpriced.
On the other side if you don't know what to buy, you don't want to choose and you simply want a perfume to use without getting into the details - go for it. This is something you can wear to work and for a date , and even if you don't get any compliments, it's unlikely somebody says it's awful.
To sum up-nice designer floral- woody fragrance which is NOT too sweet according to what the market currently offers. Maybe I'll get 10ml one day, but I doubt I'd need more.
Perfect10Tara
Nice inoffensive perfume that is well put together and unlikely to upset anyone. I bought it because it was new out and I liked the idea of wearing something that said YES to the world.
nfox
My no-brainer. Suits almost every imaginable setting, apart from the really serious ones. It is spicy, fresh, clean, deep.
My husband loves it.
It smells like spicy strawberries. Like a strawberry perfume for grown ups.
Love it.
It is not a perfume that makes me poetic. Maybe it could, because there is something deeply beautiful about something being so positive and reliable as this scent is. With its simplicity it accompanies many of the most important moments of my life. And what is that if not poetic?
Ilayda Fenty
This smells amazing, I loved the scent and the mixture of scents, yes it does smell like a celebrity scent. I can imagine Zendaya wearing this. Confident and siren woman scent. It doesn't match my personality however my friend who complimented this scent said she was obsessed with it is so suitable for it. Unfortunately does not match my personality. I love the scent though I really do but I'm not a siren woman even though I am confident. Most of the time a perfume just matches your personality but this one did not match mine, sadly.
Jennalevyne
This smells like lush - the store. 100%
jadepo21
Man, sometimes these reviews make me feel crazy. I just don’t understand how this could ever be described as fruity or gourmand. Is there sweetness? Yes, but it’s coming from the cassis so it’s not a jammy, candy sweetness. To me, this is a perfectly blended scent in that no one note overshadows any other. There is sweetness yes, but there is also green, and florals, and woods with some spice and some musk. You can’t quite put your finger on what makes this scent come together because it just works. This is easily one of my most worn fragrances because it’s any time, any season, and it’s effortless.
Silverbell
Agree with the previous review, it's an intense fragrance and not something for me that wants to smell like myself but a bit better. Sillage makes the air sickly sweet. It's not a new scent at all, smells like a perfume store all mixed up, and is very generic. To me, it smells exactly like Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet/Absolutely Blooming and La vie est Belle. If you want to smell generic af and choke up a whole room it's all yours.
nordlanderin
IMO, it's good for either more mature women that can pull off intense fragrances, or for attention seekers. I fall into neither category, so I find it simply annoying. Heavy, chypre, pretentious aroma which wouldn't let me forget itself during the day, even though I don't use much. Wherever you stay, it just fills the air with its kinda heavy notes I am sick of. Too strong for the daytime, too simple for the night. I don't think it's worth the hype and money at all.
joannattr
My endowed readers, here I am about to present a tragic story of disappointment and denial, but I will first do the courtesy of my review of this perfume which is that it is simply nice (all other positive emotion I have towards it is a product of my inability to let the memory of it's discontinued counterpart go) but also could be mistaken for a $10 Kmart body mist.
I wore Sí Fiori FOR YEARS. It was my signature scent; my clothes smelt like it, my bed smelt like it, my fresh and dirty laundry RADIATED it and I had 0 (ZERO) complaints. It so happened that in 2022, not only did I run out of this perfume but I also ran out of money. During the consecutive months, I lived inside an enduring purgatory of suppressing any shopping impulse I may have had to save money for this and spraying whichever perfume I had laying around and longing for the day I would get my baby back.
You will not believe the panic that ensued when I realized that the stores I was going to weren't just out of stock of Si Fiori but that it was DISCONTINUED. Had I not suffered enough to be rewarded with the reunion between my muse and I? Did I deserve the news that I had been longing for a deluded fantasy that was as immaterial as my funds at the time?
Anyway, I bought this one instead. I was more consistent with this perfume than I was with brushing my teeth after a night out. Unfortunately, however, it just didn't fill me with the same sense of joy and I realized it was eerily similar to the random celebrity perfumes I smelt at the discount stores my grandma dragged me to in my younger years.
On the plus side, if it wasn't for the above crime being committed I probably wouldn't have expanded my collection and diversified my interest in perfume, so thanks.. I guess.
Gillzathrillza
Maybe I’ve immediately gone nose blind but this doesn’t give me much sillage or longevity, even as a chronic oversprayer.
It’s a fruity, woody vanilla which is pleasant enough…but pleasant is the strongest adjective I can find.
It’s very nice but generic - office safe, comfy, soft, perhaps a bed scent. A perfume for people who don’t want their smells to be intrusive (i.e. not me) and who want their perfume to be palatable to others.
It’s not a bad smell, by any means, and I like it but I don’t know where it fits in with my personality so I’m glad I’ve only got a wee bottle.
Edit: I’ve since finished my 10ml bottle and it was nice enough to spray liberally for a working from home day, but not particularly notable or memorable. Lots of fruity floral rose and freesia for me.

Do I like it: Meh
Who it is: the perfectionist beauty
Smells I get: clean, powdery
Meyer's Briggs type: ISTJ, ESTJ
A girl at my office wears this to work, so my association with Sì is of a perfectionist type office woman, small and ladylike, the type that shops at Zara and seems to have an unorthodox amount of ducks in row. However, she is also the anxious type and a worrywart, which i find oddly endearing.
It's a solid, classic perfume of this age.
Personally, on me, I am not really a fan of Si - though I've definitely tried to give it a lot of chances. I love hippie type patchouli, and this is definitely anything but that - it's clean, powdery, sometimes slightly warm and radiant.
For wintertime, i find Sì lacking in comforting sweetness on my skin, while in summers i find it cloying.
For daytime, the lasting power is allright (6h give or take), but i suppose the powdery vibe and something in the drydown simply doesn't agree with me.
Considering the association with my work colleague, it could be dubbed a difference in character.
However, i do need to mention that it makes for a lovely perfume for bedtime, as the opening and the heart go marvellously with the vibe of clean bed linen and fabric softener. It's so soft that it almost leans into eroticism.
Not for me, but quite classy.
leahlzander
Smooth-as-silk vanilla fruitchouli. Indeed, Si has the distinction of being the first fruitchouli I've ever liked. The patchouli is bready and herbaceous, the vanilla dark and rich, and the fruity note (I get red berries) serves as leavening, lifting and aerating what might otherwise have been a soggy-bottomed affair. I agree with the poster who mentioned a champagne note; there's something fizzy and fermented here. On the drydown, I get a whiff of red wine. That, along with the density of the fragrance, makes this a nighttime, cool-weather scent for me.
Lorela
One friend I had before used this back in 2014 and I thought it was a nice smell but not for me. Then after some years I smelled Armani Si again and I loved it. It's a mystery how our opinions can change like that. Maybe the memory of a smell you used to like makes you love it later. I don't know but I'm sure that this scent is so captivating and unique. Sour Sweet. It would be the perfect perfume for a bad bitch. When I feel like a bad bitch, and I want to go out and damage any man's ego, I put this on with my black leather jacket, skinny jeans, high heels, curly hair and my red lipstick. I would prefer the intense black version, but I couldn't find it and the last version of intense hasn't at all the magic of Si.
I love Edp too, but it doesn't last long, at least on my skin. Only 4 hours with good power of sillage, then it becomes a skin scent for 6 more hours. Such a pity. However, magical smell. It makes you feel like every man in under your feet and you still don't want anyone. If this would last more I would dare to call it a Masterpiece.
kellyrwallis
Heavy patchouli. I smell sweet apples and urine mixed together. Very very heavy and headache inducing.
lmnsvgz
It smells like watermelon and vanilla and something green. Ugh
cocodust
I have enjoyed and finished my bottle and do get a lot of the notes unlike many perfumes. I will have a break for a bit but would get again or possibly try another from the line.
Omaalicha
I was going to splurge on this one and get it as a blind buy. Thank goodness I didn’t. Managed to get my hands on a sample. All I can say really is that it smells like an “oud”. That’s the best way I can describe it. A sweet floral “oud”.
buttercupies
I totally love this one! At first spray i was like - okay, nothing new, nothing original, but then it started to smell a little fizzy on my skin. I could only smell a beautiful blend of champagne-ish fruits, florals and woods. Really sweet, but personally I adore these types of scents. Perfect choice for a signature scent, I feel like you can wear it all year round, day and night. It's work-safe fragrance too, so it's really versatile. It's a smash for me!
madisonsant
It smells so good! I dont know why, but ı mostly get roses and woody notes. I dont get the overly sweet scent like other people said. This makes me feel so pretty
Salkavalka
I was handed a sample bottle of this today at the department store. At home I sprayed it on my wrist and asked my husband and son to take a sniff. Hubby went "Ugh, way too sweet". But my 7-year old boy loved it! He said it smelled like candy and asked if he could have it, so I gave it to him.
As for myself, I don't hate it. It's outside my comfort zone and I wouldn't buy it, but it's not a scrubber either. It's quite ok, I guess, but very juvenile and generic. Why would an adult want to smell like sweets??
And I have to add: Si is not a chypre scent in any way that I know, whatever they're trying to make believe.
GrenadeGirl
This is going to sound a little odd, but I find it a really dry smell.. not bad, in fact I really quite like it, but it is a strange blend that comes over to me as woody and really quite green.
'Dusty' would be a good description... kind of like a herbal talcum powder.
7 or 8 out of 10, but not one I'd personally wear.
oxeslevy
The cassis top note comes across as pink grapefruit to me. I find it a bit of a strange sharp note with the soft powdery vanilla.
I find there's a too much ambroxan which always goes overly sweet on my skin and smells cheap.
I like the patchouli on the dry down, it offers a little welcome relief from the sweetness.
Not getting much floral. I'd say the rose is more like a Turkish delight dusted in icing sugar.
Over all I don't hate it but not sure I like it either. On the plus side it hasn't given me a headache.
krispotsari
it is a pretty decent smell. if you are going for a "traditional mature woman who is also sexy"style this is it. bold and classic. a little. old fashioned for my taste
rene.saller
I don't mean this in a bad way, but this really reminds me of a Britney Spears Fantasy flanker, Midnight Fantasy: a generic fruity floral with pleasant midtier hair product vibes. It's nice enough, but there are better options at that price point, and I'm glad I just bought a 0.10-oz sample. I would be pleased if someone gave me a bottle, but I don't feel the need to buy one soon, if ever, and I would be disappointed if I had bought an entire bottle blind.

very nice, classy perfume. but a little boring
AUyliong
Starts off with wood notes softened and warmed by vanilla. It smells a little like a creamy caramel dessert but never goes full gourmand. It's a lovely scent with good quality as is par for the course with Armani frags. Smells like a classy, wealthy and chic woman between 20-40 yrs old.
15 mins later the rose makes its presence known in the background. It hasn't taken top billing yet. It smells a little like makeup but not in a powdery or waxy or iris-y way.
A couple minutes later the wood notes are gone. I'm now smelling an unsweetened slightly bitter vanilla. Still very creamy.
30 mins later, the classy vanilla laced makeup scent has deepened. The age group of the person I imagine wearing this has also climbed. Now it smells like a classy woman in their 30s to their 50s. Now it smells mature. Not old lady. Mature.
The ambroxan works really well with the vanilla alongside the rose and freesia. It helps prevent it from being overly sweet. 45 mins later these 4 notes have become equal players on stage - with none overshadowing the other. It smells beautifully and elegantly well blended.
50 mins in, the scent is starting to dry down. The intensity has calmed and the age group has gone back down. It now smells like that same classy woman - but aged between 25 - 50.
1 hr in, the flowers have receded. The unsweetened vanilla remains but a nutty, almond-like scent has also emerged.
1 hr 15 mins in, it's now just vanilla with ambroxan. In my experience, once the perfume gets down to just vanilla that usually means there's no further development left and it'll be linear from here on out for the rest of the perfume's duration. We shall see.
Initial projection is strong, easily leaving a sillage and scent bubble several feet out. Even after drydown projection is still arm's length so this will def get you noticed. Can be worn in daytime at the office and at nighttime when simply promenading around.
Not a nightlife scent. This is too classy for the club and will come off as standoffish. You'll smell like you are the literal owner of the joint. It's fine for getting drinks at the hotel bar though IMO.
Lasted around 5-6 hrs and there was no more change after the 1 hr 15 min mark.
anamarmo
Love it. Very long lasting on my skin. I spray it on my clothes as well and it stays on my clothes for days. Most complimented perfume from my collection. Perfect cozy autumn/winter perfume.
Momto3Balls
I wanted to love this as it is a classic scent. I may have oversprayed but upon initial impression, it was too sweet and burned my nostrils. The cassis was wayyyy to overpowering. I was imagining a lighter, sweet, feminine scent. But all day my nose hurt. That being said, I will have to it again with less sprays. I think it will also be very pretty layered with Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir. I can't wait to try that out next. I am so into layering perfumes to come up with new and unique combos. For now, Armani Si by itself is just okay.
Mila-307
I don’t know how I feel about this one. Sometimes I really like it and sometimes I don’t. It very woody to me. It’s also a perfume for older people not really for teenagers.
AmeliaLara
Pleasant enough fragrance but I feel like this is a little bit too old for me, and bottle design is even quite reflective of that. Also quite remiscent of sweet beer
MTK82
I'm trying hard to like it! Bought it in a hurry while travelling cause it was all over social media...however its pretty boring...smells like an office or something! I need layering options with it..I'm letting it sit for a while...Will go back after a few weeks.
eemmmmaa
I bought a bottle of Sì long before I had any real interest in perfume. Looking back, it makes sense I was attracted to the scent. The vanilla and wood notes settle nicely onto my skin, and it dried down into a light, sweet, spicy scent that comforted me during a lonely, gloomy season in a new country.
I was however slightly allergic to something in the formulation; it made my throat itch during the first hour or so. It's a shame, I really loved the dry down but it wasn't worth the discomfort.
athomas
This is one of those kinds that you must test. Don't blind buy this one.
I tested this one out just the other day at the store, unfortunately for me, this fragrance turned out to be a bad match to my body chemistry (probably). Either that is what happened, or the tester bottle at the store was no good. Who knows.
The most prominent thing on my skin was the patchouli. It was as if within 30 min or less after spraying, it cycled through all the top notes and middle notes so quickly, to end up having the patchouli come out with a bang. I barely remember a wine-like fruitiness coming through at some point, but oncee the patchouli punched it's way through, it just stayed there forever. The patchouli overpowered anything else of the base notes. I like fragrances that are by Giorgio Armani, but this one is a no for me. It probably works with other people's body chemistry.
toosimilar
Truly feminine scent!
Better suitable for cold/wet weather
A bit heavy in the drydown
But the work itself is good & noticeable!
smoergari
horrible. i quite like the edt version as it is quite fresh - too feminine for my taste tho. i don't know what i was expecting for this one but i only like the opening. the second it dries down it goes sour and heavy. i've never tried to wash a scent off but this was a first for me apparently. sold my bottle for ridiculously cheap as i wanted to get rid of it asap.
auntwebbie
Many of the gourmands on the market are too sickly sweet for my taste; they sometimes give me a touch of nausea. This one has a nice vanilla note, but it's beautifully offset by just enough fruit to keep it bright, and enough spice to keep it from smelling too one-dimensional and girlish. Everything is perfectly in balance.
silverrosesc
This is my signature scent for work; my partner absolutely loves it too. He says it smells gorgeous, & loves the deep vanilla note.
I also love the vanilla in it, but also the warmth, & the lingering patchouli. I feel it’s office-safe because it’s very balanced, neither cloying nor challenging. The spice, wood and earth notes ground it & prevent the fruits & vanilla elements from reading too young.
I apply to neck/shoulders and wrists in the morning, let the initial blast wear off in the gale force winds at the bus stop, & by the time I’m in the office it has settled a bit. I don’t need to overspray or re-spray! It will last all day, especially if you get a bit in your clothing.
Célia Pais
The first time I used this perfume I really felt the cassis and that alcoholic touch. Today, using it all day for the first time, I realized that this cassis, smelling close up, smells a lot like passion fruit. The opening of this perfume on my skin is very reminiscent of Hypnose and when it moves to the heart notes until the end it is the same as Boucheron's Quatre en Rose. Very, very identical indeed. It only projects for the first hour and then stays close to the skin, but the fixation is good. It lasts about 6 hours without reapplying

Smells like Turkish Delight - one so good that you understand why Edmond sold his family out to the white witch in Narnia.
I had a best friend who used to wear this and it always smelt amazing on her. Vanilla. Powdery. Soft but strong. I used it once and I could smell in on my clothes days after wearing. Finally decided to purchase myself. I love it. I definitely smell rose but not in an old granny way. It smells more gourmand. That’s why I think of Turkish delight. Good enough to eat.
fridae
Mostly smells like rotting plums to me. I get 0 vanilla or wood :(
hvnent
it smells like fig jam? im still not too happy with the rose in it.
an improvement on the initial reaction though - the first time i sprayed it on i wanted to scrub it off immediately but im starting to see the appeal a bit more on second wear. still not the one for me but oh well.

I’ve hold off on reviewing this because I’m not sure I could do this justice! This is pure perfection. It’s my signature scent and I’ve almost used up a 50 ml bottle during these 4 months that I’ve owned it. I once heard someone said it smells like a sweet wine and I definitely agree. The black currant makes it smell sweet but not juvenile or sugary which I love. It’s more of a natural sweetness. I can smell the rose very strongly in this perfume, and while rose is a note that I generally don’t like much, it’s gorgeous in Sì. I see that other people here have written that it’s a powdery rose-black currant-woody amber/vanilla fragrance and I couldn’t agree more. On me I feel like it projects okay, and lasts moderately. I tend to have to reapply during the day though. I’ve got compliments from 2 different people when wearing this so that’s definitely a telltale sign.
Gabsp28
One of my favourites, long lasting, strong scent. Dark and a bit sweet. Love wearing this in the winter. Gives me a confident feeling. Warm and feminine sprayed again today, definitely getting vanilla and woody notes, a soft spicy, sweet scent.
Tembacat
I found this one by total accident because I did a double take in the store when sniffing some fragrances. It hit me with a wave of nostalgia for an old, discontinued fragrance I got as a teenager in Hot Topic called Firedance by Amy Brown. I don't know how actually similar they are, but it was such a strong scent memory that I became obsessed right away. Now in my 30s, this scent feels alluring and sexy. Easily a regular in the rotation for the cooler months (and in Norway, there is a lot of them).
The13thHour
Si is dark, feminine and sexy. BUT I do think this is a overly hyped perfume in my opinion.
Obsidian100
Boozy rose amber blackcurrant sweet thing!
Spaceflowerrr
Very classy and womanly. I see this on a woman with a sleek low bun, beige trench coat, independent and sexy. It works better when not over-sprayed as it can kill the gentle elegance of it and can easily become over powering. I find it really addictive and always reach for it even just to sniff it from the bottle
pinotos802
Oh this is lovely! Cozy and warm, elegant but not mature and well suited for all ages. I wore once a sweater and I've sprayed myself with this fragrance. After a week I wore it again and it smelled as I just sprayed it! I get a monster of a performance and longevity with this. Definitely a sexy fragrance but an elegant kind of sexy.

This is a flawlessly executed cassis-rose-amber by Christine Nagel. It has many flankers due to its success - but none match the original. In fact, the "red" bottles are all a huge fail for me. To make it appeal to the masses and to get the sniff-n-buy-immediately types, a slug of ethyl maltol sweetness was thrown in to add a mouth-watering accord with the prominent cassis and vanilla. I have to admit - I adore this stage. It's the girliest part of the perfume and adds a bit of fun.
Now that it's been a decade since release, I'd say it's more interesting and less expected on a guy/butch-type. On a woman/femme - as beautiful as it it constructed - it's a well-worn tune and maybe time to let its unintended audience a chance.
The bottle is beautiful - slightly nicer in the 50/100/150ml (the latter a tougher find these days) than the 30ml (which loses the gold ring around the base), but that's to be expected. The cap never changes - and its inspiration to the "stones" of the Privé collection is a nice nod. I really like what Armani has done with their packaging. Also layers nicely with simple patchoulis.
I've not tried the intense versions yet, but I quite like the EDT which is a whispy rendition that focuses on freesia.
UPDATE - I assume now that Armani is going "eco", as most brands are, they'll be doing the same thing with the Sì line, as illustrated in the new advertisements for the 2023 version of "Intense" (now with black tea!) that joins the My Way line of refills and refillable bottles.
kdawg09
This might be my new signature scent 😻 I grabbed it at sephora ON ACCIDENT it was in a bin with 2 other Giorgio Armani scents and im SO GLAD I did! She's unique and super sexy. very surprised and obsessed!
Eriksen
This is a booooozy rose/Vanilla scent. The liquid fairly quickly turns much darker. Perhaps due to the high vanilla content
ash.edmundson
I get so many compliments when I wear this one. It's versatile, fresh, and feminine. I find it very balanced and great for everyday use. I wear it more in the late summer and fall, but I have worn it all year round on occasion.
mabelangel
i absolutely love this perfume! it's feminine and sultry but not 'girly'. it's a nice, comforting and woody vanilla. the earthy, almost rugged notes really compliment the divine and clean scents like vanilla and caramel. it's not sugary sweet, but rather a natural sweet. it reminds me of hypnotic poison by dior or scandal le parfum by jpg, ive also seen some people say it's similar to valentino born in roma. it's incredibly sexy and mature! womanhood in a bottle! this is a perfect autumn/winter scent. the longevity and sillage is really nice too! def a crowd pleaser
amantedelte
I originally bought this because it smelled amazing on one of my friends, she walked in the room and the smell was divine, sultry and lady like.
Very sad to report, that on my skin, it transformed into something awful, like toilet air freshener and L'air du temps (the original old one!) i had to scrub it off my skin. I did give it many more chances (because i don't like to waste money!) but i just couldn't make it work.
I haven't tried any of the flankers, but i have heard better things about them.
HannahRosesAreRed
Coco Madmoiselle, 2010s style. Sí is a top-tier, sweet and sour fruit-rose-chouli fragrance. It's superbly blended, and each note listed here gets a chance to shine through, from the opening to the drydown. The rose, patchouli, vanilla and cassis notes are the strongest. The patchouli is especially well done. This isn't health food store patchouli–this is a grassier, earthier patchouli, slightly vetiver in the drydown. I love the cassis note, which on skin and paper reads as fresh concord grape or a really good quality red wine, with a boozy and romantic edge. I do get a hint of soft and soapy freesia deep in there, taking the edge off this fragrance, making it into something a bit more user friendly.
This is a more intimate scent. Not a projection monster by any means. But the longevity is respectable. It especially clings to clothes. It's not too serious, and it's super feminine, but definitely not a "youthful" or "girly" scent. Pair this with your black cocktail dress at your next dinner party or wine tasting, you'll get some great results. It's the right balance between classy and playful. Not the most original or groundbreaking scent, and the booze-patchouli-cassis combo could read as potentially animalic, dirty or ammonia-ish on some people’s skin chemistry. I got lucky, but I recommend testing this as opposed to blind buying.
Alexisdawnnn
This perfume quickly became one of my favorites. I just imagine myself sitting on the couch on a beautiful fall evening watching the leaves fall outside, on an evening walk.
perfumelovere
When it was first released this was my top evening scent. All the ingredients blended into something beautiful and powerful. It was perfection to my nose and I was so happy to wear it. The last time I tried a bottle a couple years ago it had been watered down to almost body spray strength and I made sure to pick the EDP. After an hour it was barely detectable on my wrist.
Asliyenigun
This perfume literally made me fall in love with roses, even though I never considered myself a rose person. It blends perfectly with my skin. Among my collection of designer perfumes, it's the one with the strongest sillage and longevity. It's a sweet and sophisticated scent, a truly elegant feminine fragrance. After trying Armani Si EDP, I've found my signature perfume. In the opening, I get a bit of rose mixed with a cassis scent, and although I'm not a big fan of green notes, I absolutely think they suit this perfume. It has a non-overwhelming sweetness, with a beautiful blend of vanilla and woody notes, accompanied by a pleasant hint of rose that makes it truly magnificent and alluring.
NikkiDoll
Can’t smell anything with this perfume at all ~ will stick to perfumes I know, pretty bottle but waste of money - will re gift to a friend, rather disappointing.
AlexandraRoseD
Always wanted to try this due to the heavy advertising, and finally this year allowed myself to finally buy a 50 ml on a discount.
Smelled OK when I tried it at the mall, so thought to myself, why not..
When I got back at home and tried it for a few weeks now and then, something really bothered me..
It smells of heavy cassis and ambroxan..
Not a safe blind buy.
The bottle remained full, will give it a try in the winter before decluttering.
---‐--‐--------
Update: tried it now in the cold winter, and this is actually nice!
It is too potent for my taste, but I'll use it from time to time.
Defenetly not for the summer!
HYLAS
Berries and bubblegum are what first came to mind with the opening. Sì is so sweet and fruity I was surprised not to actually see any actual fruit notes listed. The dry down leaves you with a sort of sugary red berry scent reminiscent of a festive candle. It's comforting in its simplicity, but veers dangerously close to borderline basic. Maybe it's the patchouli, maybe the over-sweet rose.
I really can't say much more that this. Sì is a pretty average, inoffensive scent. Fruity and fresh, I can understand its popularity, but it wasn’t a standout to me. I would probably wear it if it had been gifted to me, but I won’t be purchasing.
Elektra17
I had a sample then bought the full size! It's really well-blended and has an almost creamy quality. The opening is fruity (smells a little citrusy to me?) and sweet in a grown up way. After the opening, I smell rose + other florals + soft vanilla + green middle note + earthy base...I think Fragrantica is overselling the woodiness though. There's a note in here I can't identify, maybe its the ambroxan.
It works well as day or night scent. Would also be appropriate year-round but it might be a little much for Summer daytime wear.
◼︎Energy: sophisticated, sexy, but not showy
◼︎Safe Blind Buy: yes. I think it would make a good gift too.
◼︎Longevity: okay, wish it lasted longer on skin
◼︎Gender: sexy feminine, but not "girly"
◼︎Age Group: late 20s+
ReeReeLove
I smelled this in Sephora and at the time it seemed that I loved it a lot more than I do now after purchasing a full bottle. I think it's the cassis not that's making me slightly nauseous. The vanilla sweetens it up and kinda balances it out which makes it tolerable. This might be one that I have to layer to fully enjoy. It's not a bad scent, I just think I may have over estimated how much I really actually like it. I prefer Si Passione flanker over this original version.
Edit: I still dislike this very much and I now realize it's the patchouli that I hate. I can only handle patchouli when it's blended really well and undetectable to my nose. Unfortunately this is not. I'll be either begiving this to my mother or selling it to someone who loves it.
Leolia
Every time i try this on skin i smell like i have a drinking problem.
On my skin this is nothing but cheap red wine.
This is a huge no for me.
When i smell it on others i get this warm vanilla mixed with red wine.
selinacat
I have it, and I'm happy I do, but I doubt I'll repurchase. Mainly because there isn't much distinct identity in this for me. It could be chemistry, but it smells like a generic version of Gucci Rush. It's a nice, inoffensive summer scent for me, and I'll enjoy using it, but I'm just way too much of a weirdo for this to sit right on me.
Melody Valentine
I've had a few samples of this I got off Facebook for ages and I remember thinking it was just a generic fruity perfume when I last tried it but just found one in a handbag and this is quite decent!
At first it does smell very fruity but then after a few seconds it starts to smell like a much tamer, more crowd pleasing, office friendlier Portrait of a Lady to me, then it kinda goes back to being fruity again. I think it could be a good perfume if you like POAL but find it too much but you also don't want to wear a super sweet La Vie Est Belle type of perfume. This is an inbetweener of those two types of scent.
It's definitely fruity but it's a good chypre and the patchouli is noticeable even though it's quite subtle. Kinda smells a bit like blackcurrant Ribena with patchouli whereas I think POAL is full on dry red wine. It sounds bad but it's quite nice. I can't smell any vanilla at all though. If I didn't already have a really good dupe of POAL for when I want to wear a good dark fruits and rose with patchouli I'd probably get a bottle of this. Definitely one of the better ones from the past few years. I've been missing out on this and thinking it was crap for ages. I'm interested to read about the intense version now. If there's a much stronger version of this I'd probably love it.
Actually, it's closer to Valentino Born In Roma with a hint of POAL. Too much blackcurrant for me and not woody enough to balance it out. I've gone off it after wearing it for a little while. I can see why others love it though.
Zoeanne
A sweet, fruity easy to wear scent. It's not the most interesting but it does smell gorgeous. Dries down into a lovely sweet vanilla on my skin. I don't get woody notes at all though which is a shame.
ArtieWiles
Sweet, spicy, elegant. Feminine dame with a secret power. Drinks white wine out of the bottle while watching the sunset dressed to the nines. Those are my unofficial notes on the perfume.
Woody notes give it strength that's balanced with the freesia and vanilla, and cassis gives it a great kick.
I spent way too much time in the perfumerie blind-looking for signature daily scent. My poor shop assistant really had to stretch her abilities to find what my nose was looking for. Didn't know about the hype, and didn't see the ads until after I bought it. Got a serious case of "I liked it before it was cool" during the Christmas season. Lol me. I so desperately wanted my own "me scent" and it suddenly seemed to be everywhere!
Anyway, it's been 9 months and I still love Si. Went few days without it freshen up my nose, and the first whiff I got after was like coming home while a big orchestra played its finale. It gives poise and inner strength where one would expect fragility. It's perfect for daily wear all year round. I believe Cate Blanchett is a perfect pick to represent the scent because that lady's got a range and emulates inconspicuous power so well. Like, she knows who she is, what she wants, you won't stop her, all the while she calls you sweetie and darling and has a genuine blast.
One thing though, a few first days it would make me nauseous after a while. Don't know why. After a week it calmed down and I hadn't had an issue ever since. Got me really scared I'll have to stop using it.

At first, I wasn't impressed by this and didn't get the hype, but ultimately, it's a pretty scent. On my skin this smells like a bunch of jasmine tobacco. Nothing more, nothing less. Rather elegant than casual.
Oh, and it kind of reminds me of the dry down of Rose Oud by Yves Rocher.
Candylover666
A sweet, fruity crowd pleasing perfume.
Very elegant but also very similar to every other designer fragrance
Patchouli is barely detectable if at all.
Cute little everyday, office friendy fragrance.
CheriV
Definitely one of my favourite fragrances. It's soft, sweet, elegant, pleasant, inviting, inoffensive, suitable for day, night and all weathers and occasions. If signature scents were for me, this one would be it. The elegance, femininity, class and that, "I'm not screaming at you or doing too much, but love me or hate me, you will notice I'm here" vibe that this fragrance gives off is exactly how I'd like to be perceived everyday, all day.
lil_shatta_kamz
Initial spray reminds me of sunday mornings in church. Sipping ice cold Ribena( a black currant drink), while enjoying the smell of the older women doused in their various perfumes. In the dry down I get tons of soft spicy, vanilla woods and just a small touch of a jaminess (perhaps from the rose). Needless to say this smells like a church Fragrance, its grown smell. I have my ish together smell.
johnsoneva115
This scent is sort of nostalgic to me- it smells exactly like my childhood friend’s house, which was always spotless and had the same syrupy black currant verging on delicious sweeet wine smell. I’m not sure if it was her mom’s perfume or a cleaning product, but it literally attaches to my childhood idea of what a “woman” smells like, and so even though it’s not a perfume I feel matched me, it’s almost sentimental. Has a nice but not obvious vanilla base.
Melis.t
Syrupy, boozy blackcurrant and woody vanilla. I also feel a bit of tart aspect, almost like wine. It has mature edge to it but not a old lady kind of scent. It was my first signature scent back in university and it was giving me confidence. Nowadays I don't reach for it often because my taste changed over time but still find it classy and unique on its own.
reginasiena
Si, I can imagine 40 years old me will be very happy get a full bottle of this parfume! But sorry not now. The Cassis is so rich that made every spray count and really last. The dry down is beautiful and graceful. The vanilla also beautiful and mature.Thankfully the rose is in a perfect portion. Overall, I wish for 'a little bit freshness' so it will be okay to wear in a sunny tropic day.
Clairexoxo
I don’t like the opening, for some reason I smell an off putting musky undertone at first. As it dries down, it becomes more pleasant and I get a woody vanilla with cassis (so the greeness of the leaves and the syrupy facet of blackcurrant). But nothing interesting
QuirkleBanana
Personally, the patchouli and cassis combination makes the opening of this just awful. Like to the point that I actively avoid putting it on just because of the opening.
However, the dry down does have more woodiness and sweetness. Very much a soft spicy with a little freshness on top. It's definitely more of a signature scent, as it's unique and could be hard to pair.
Smelling this, I imagine a woman in her late 30's, early 40's, who is inexplicably able to perfectly balance her career and her family with precision. It gives a mature and classy vibe, while also being comforting and sweet.
katherina.1
Meh.. it’s a fresh, soapy/clean scent but I find it lacks personality. I don’t get any vanilla at all, which I think it’s a pity.
I can see this being a crowd pleaser, though. It smells clean, so obviously. If you are going for that clean girl aesthetic, this is for you. I do love some of that aesthetic from time to time, but I much prefer Byredo Mojave Ghost or Marc Jacobs Daisy, if I’m in that kind of mood.
I might reach for it on a hot summer’s day, dressed in all white - going to a brunch.
Edit: I accidentally layered Mancera Roses Vanille under this and it made it so much more rounded and balanced. I’m actually going to start wearing it now, thanks to this accident😂
yummysw
At first it was too earthy for me, I don't know why, but over time I liked it. It smells different on clothes, but on my skin it's a nice mix of rose, vanilla, patchouli with a fruity essence. It's a very versatile fragrance, suitable for an office-friendly and signature scent. While not overpowering, it is unique because of its adaptability to various environments.
amg7613
A warm, honeyed rose with a touch of black currant. It’s classy. The patchouli, woody, vanilla base holds the fragrance on your skin and makes it last. I can see why it’s called a modern chypre as it has the ambroxan that is so popular right now, with the warmth (but no oakmoss). I love this one, and it took some time to grow on me. I can see this being my signature.
It reminds me of Valentino’s Donna without the heavy lipsticky Iris and leather (which I also love).
Lollo
When this came out I fell head over heel in love with it. I still like it but I find it more difficult. It doesnt suit on everyone, nether on every occasion. For me it is luxurious, super feminine, classy and clean. You cant wear it on a day that you havent taken a shower, put on your nice clothes and made your make up beacuse it will simpla not suit😊 this represents a women in her best, perhaps also most suitable during evening or sparetime since I can imagine some people finding it to be too heavy. Sugary, sweet, warm, ladylike and large in sillage. Perfect for the right occassions 👌
sardonyx
The classy, but also nurturing woman. I can wear this any time of the day and all year round. When I spray this, older (than me) women, around 50, ask me what I'm wearing. Everybody seems to like this so it must be easy going. It's interesting to me. I don't normally go for fruity scents, but the Vanilla, Patchouli, Woody Notes and Ambroxan seem to do well on my skin! Can be a signature scent for sure.
Peaches77
I like the freshness of this scent. It’s very clean and not overpowering. It reminds me of a fresh herb garden.
Top note is Cassis; middle notes are May Rose and Freesia; base notes are Vanilla, Patchouli, Woody Notes and Ambroxan.
suzanne_ronald
This scent is a LOVE LETTER to all the people who never got the mother they wanted, (or the ideal, and so called 'good-enough mother' of developmental theory), and to those who had her but lost her too soon. This is the best 'Arms of Mother' scent. Hear me out - Imagine your mother (or the mother you wanted) hugging you before she heads out for the evening. She's dressed up and wearing perfume, and slightly sweaty from the effort. Signed by perfumer Christine Nagel, this whipped vanilla chypre opens with a burst of blackcurrant bud that deepens into a velvety rose & freesia heart, all resting on a vanilla-patchouli base that's so fluffy you could swear that it's whipped to give a fluffy chypre vibe. There is a pleasant 'armpit' note here as well. A nice cross between Delina Parfums de Marly and La Vie Est Belle Lancome. Has a slight 'perfume-y' quality that for some noses may read as more mature or dressed up. While it doesn't smell vintage per se, many reviewers have noted a connection with their mothers. This reminds me of my mother wearing perfume as well (although she wears Beautiful Estee Lauder which is a completely different scent).
Contrast to Flowerbomb Midnight Viktor&Rolf:
These are different, but this is the most similar to Si Armani that I've smelt, specially the openings. FM dries down incorporating the Flowerbomb DNA, but with the fluffy whipped chypre found in Si.
Contrast to Delina Parfums de Marly:
These are different, but there is a similar vibe. Delina has a rhubarb that's more forward and doesn't read as chypre to my nose.
Contrast to La Vie Est Belle:
These are verry different but there are some similarities with both being sweet vanilla chypres. Si has a fluffier whipped quality while LVEB has more of a ganache quality to my nose. LVEB is a little sweeter while both are sweet.
Contrast to Dazzle Al Haramain:
These are different but have a similar vibe with a rosy heart on a fluffy chypre. Si is a little more vanilla forward and a little sharper in the top notes while the whipped quality is more forward in Dazzle Al Haramain. Dazzle doesn't have the mother vibe.
Contrast to Royal Mystery Swiss Arabian:
These are different, but this is the closest scent to Dazzle Al Haramain that I've smelt. There is a very similar vibe here with a rosy heart on a fluffy chypre base. Royal Mystery doesn't have the mother vibe.
Overall: powerhouse performance and a beautiful scent profile, this is the perfect scent to wear to introject your boss mama self. It's a love for me. 9/10. Enjoy!

Si by Giorgio Armani is very warm, woody & sweet. It's definitely for matured women. It's a strong perfume. All you need is one spray. It can be very cloying if you use too much.

For years, my mom has worn this perfume as her signature scent. I've always admired the classy woody vanilla fragrance that lingers in her wake. Now that I've moved away to a different state, I find myself missing that familiar scent. It occurred to me that this could now be my signature scent as well, a way to keep that special connection to my mom alive. I highly recommend this fragrance to anyone who loves a warm and comforting scent.

I don’t get the hype behind this scent it’s an okay fragrance nothing memorable about it. I don’t hate it but the hype behind this is not worth it there are far more worthy perfumes than this. The longevity sucks I wore it once and went out for a quick lunch and before even reaching the restaurant I could not even get a trace of this fragrant. It’s wearable and the smell is decent but will not be purchasing this again.

I never owned this perfume but my mother did. It's such a great memory. It smells so elegant and wonderful, truly unique. But I wouldn't recommend this for younger people, it's just a little too heavy and suits better women after a certain age. I mean yeah I think younger people could use it for a night out, but I wouldn't recommend it to them as everyday wear.
I think it smells truly amazing.
zenithince
The fragrance I tried had a strong vanilla note that was overpowering and combined with a chemical scent that was unpleasant and off-putting. Personally, I found it to be overly sweet and cloying, rather than enjoyable
jessica_chinos
The scent fascinated me, I went crazy for it. It's perfect for a casual, white futuristic sweatshirt dress with a high neck and tall boots. I did not want my scent to bother my date, since we were going to a musical and were going to be sitting together for more than two hours, so I chose this scent. It was perfect. The downside is that it was only great for that occasion, in every other situation, performance is very poor and after an hour no one can tell if I'm wearing perfume. It's so sad, since I wanted to smell alluring, but, sadly, I barely smelled like the perfume... I will try Armani Sì Intense.

Ooooh! I'm not sure why I've never tried this before, it's very pretty!
The opening is misleading, because I don't *dislike* it, but this is a fragrance that absolutely needs time to melt into your skin and calm down (they all do, of course, but you know what I mean). It opens a little chaotically, and smells (for lack of a better word) prickly. I suppose it's that cassis and rose warring with each other, but they eventually come to terms and become complimentary, though it takes a few minutes.
This is warm, warm, WARM. It's much cozier than I though, and I am absolutely rating it for winter, not even autumn. It's a mild spring day here, and it's gorgeous in the warmth, but feels a little out of place. It actually smells of a darker brown to my nose than the cream liquid.
The vanilla is actually lovely, and this smells luxurious. It has a certain type of warm elegance, yet admittedly it still feels mall-ish...but in a good way. It's blended and smooth. The patchouli is very tame, so if you hate patch (I actually love it, even when it's rough) I don't think you'll mind this.
This caught me off guard, I really didn't expect to love this, but here I am huffing my wrists. I'm not sure this fragrance suits me, but I really enjoy it. Wow.
smccmurphy
If you don’t overspray I think this is a crowd pleasing, refined scent. On my skin it doesn’t pull too overly sweet or woody.
Samar.Samir
This perfume introduced me to the lovely note of cassis (or black current as they smell almost the same to me)
Love it so much, just wish it lasts longer.
Cinnamonbuns
One of the best fragrances ever made. I love it!!!
Rach2star
Wow this is very strong definatley a date night perfume for me or winter only. I get sparkling red berries and it's not sickly sweet.

Fun and sophisticated. Fruity, vanilla, jammy rose, woody, green.
The cassis, rose and vanilla kind of reminds me of Meliora, but a sweeter, darker, winter, night time version of it. My most fun, bright and bubbly fragrance is Delina (which also has a jammy rose), and I think this is my second most fun fragrance, but where Delina is girly, bright and bubbly, this is a bit more grown up and darker. It's kind of like if Meliora had Delina's jammy rose injected into it, and was overall sweeter, warmer and darker.
If Si was a person, she would would have range. She loves to laugh, make others laugh and have a good time, but she also knows when to be serious and behave herself. She can get a job done well while still having fun. You'll have a fun date and date night with her.

Really want to like this perfume, but something in it makes me nauseas. It gets better after a couple of hours, but the beginning is to hard to overcome unfortunately.
GREENGARDENLUV
Lovely smell. I really enjoy this fragrance.
I will be buying the 150ml bottle.
michalamellsgood
It smells good and lasts a long time, gets compliments, but for me, it's just a guaranteed headache.
Edit: I now cannot smell this anymore without wanting to throw up/ having a migrane. I think I'm allergic to something in this and had to give it away.
Paolavvh
Excelente perfume para mi! Huele mucho a rosas :) y dura demasiado.
rurufu
Got a sample and it strongly reminds me of Lush's Rose Jam. It's too sweet for me so I'll pass.
lorin4433
when i smell this i think of someone dependable, reliable, confident. she's the older sister, the cool aunt who has her life together. it's a bit too mature for my taste though, and i personally wouldn't wear because of the patchouli. nice, comforting scent nevertheless :) washed it off so can't comment on the longevity but the sillage is great.
Woodama
Wayyy too sweet. Smells like you spilled blackcurrant squash on yourself and let it dry
Spicadk
Smells like pure honey. Its a cozy, sweet warm smell. It smells the best the day after, great dry down. It is long lasting, three sprays was too strong. Could be too sweet for someone, it was for me at first. Until i only used one spray. The sweet smell is Very addictive, which make me reach out for it often. And i like that with one spray, i can smell it all day long.
autumnblue914
Bright, spicy, fruity, alluring. The vanilla starts coming out of the background slowly over time. And the greens give it a more unique smell. It throws a nice scent bubble.
Ambrenuit
A beautiful, intoxicating long-lasting scent, suitable all year round, but it develops better on my skin in summer weather than in winter. An exceptional perfume. Self confidence in a bottle.
itsallaboutthescents
I am not aware of the old reformulation, I only had the body lotion and I loved it. I wanted a chypre reminiscent of Coco mademoiselle, not so popular, since I ve never smelled Si in someone. This is a bittersweet perfume, very versatile, for every occasion, really nice for signature scent. It is kind of generic but nonetheless modern, elegant, in the right amount sexy and serious and maybe this is what render the perfume generic and not a sickless sweet perfume.
To my nose and skin, this is creamy, difficult to describe and I don t think it is tiring for everyday use, as most of LVEB kind of perfumes or FB.
However, I am really struggling with its sillage. If you want sillage, buy the body lotion instead. Its longevity is really outstanding, 24 hours and I still can smell it, but I am not sure anyone can, after 1 hour of application. This is my only complaint and I am one of those who want to be smelled. I am gonna use my 50ml bottle and then I will decide wheather I am gonna use it as a signature scent. No compliments so far, I don t think everyone can smell this on me, except if they hug me. So, will see... the same sad story with every perfume for the last 6 years or more... Why wear perfume if no one but yourself (with your nose in your rist) can smell it?
Jessk
I got a decant of this among a years-old collection of decants that my mom never used.
At first spray- I loved this. One spray on the wrist & it takes you over. Boozy, alluring, rich, feminine, warm. Like a feminine splash of red berry wine. Totally get the popular love for it. I’m not so into black currant but this didn’t overdo it in stickiness (though the black currant is a clearly prominent note).
In reading reviews here, I saw people mentioning a pathetic reformulation. So I went to Sephora & thankfully they had a tester out. One spray on my wrist — and I smelled nothing. I let a few minutes go by & still nothing, so I sprayed again. Now I’ve got a double layer & I smell, still, nothing.
When I say nothing, I don’t mean “nothing” nothing. It’s just so light & faint & a mere whisper of the smell I remember, that it’s basically nothing. Why get a perfume if in order to smell it you have to dig your nose into your wrist & sniff hard?
You’d probably have to overspray this a ton just in order to get a general Si vibe, which isn’t worth the money in that case. I doubt you could ever achieve that rich seductiveness of the original, from something this watered down. True shame.
LEM922
So I bought this while Armani was having a Bogo sale online, and I decided to pick this up because I was curious about it. I have Si Fiori, and while I like it, it's not really an easy reach for me nor an every day perfume that I gravitate towards. I figured this would be pleasant. All I have to say… Wow. This is a huge love for me. The DNA is similar, but this one is just so much better and works so well with my body chemistry. I was honestly blown away because I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do. Cassis and blackcurrant can be a little bit of a hard note for me, and I don't like patchouli whatsoever. In this particular perfume, Cassis only lends a light fruitiness, while it's pretty dominant in Fiori. When you smell blackcurrant in something like Donna born in Roma, and it's so strong and sometimes overbearing, this one is so gentle and just ever so slightly enveloping. The florals in the middle really tone down the fruitiness, and it's just a sweet woody vanilla on the bottom. I also don't detect any patchouli at all for whatever reason. I really really do enjoy this, this is such a classy gorgeous fragrance, and I could easily see it being a signature scent. I can't stop sniffing my wrists I'm honestly so obsessed.

Wow.....talking about chemistry!
YEARS ago I smelled this on a cousin. It was a warm comfy vanilla scent. Major whiffs I received while sitting in front of her in the August night heat.
Couple of days ago, dinner with friends, I kept getting whiffs from my ´ P.hd in genetics´ friend who showed up in a floral dress, despite the cold weather.
She looked and SMELLED like a character of the ´The Crown´.
At first I thought it was her softener floating from her dress towards me.....at the end I asked her.
She answers: Si!
I go: The red one?
She goes: No,no....the original nude juice. You smell me???!!!!!!
Me: The whole time!!!
I go: How does a scent go from sweaty warmy vanilla to soapy cool and clean innocence???
She goes: Pheromones. Next time just try it on your own skin.
annasarahr121
I find the vanilla to be too sweet in Armani Si, amped up as it is by the cassis. I love freesia in some things -- especially when you get that shower-fresh freesia -- but here it's just too hot and, again, too sweet. Surprisingly, it's bringing to mind a fragrance that I love, and don't find too sweet, because of its lighter, fresher execution -- Alfred Sung Jewel. Jewel has black currant, pear, frangipani, and the very sweet black locust, but the lighter, more tropical and aquatic quality makes the sweetness pretty and not thick and cloying, as it is in Si, to my nose, at least.
sunsetshines
This has been my signature scent for years. However, something has changed with the formula since I first bought it back in 2015. Now I get "cheap vanilla" and no longer love it.
Elfin Will
That's my signature scent after Armani Code Satin has been discontinued. They have NOTHING in common, but it became my new favorite (Armani still rocking in perfumery). My boyfriend and mom, who have very picky taste in perfume, also love it! So I used to wear it all the time :D (Now I don't wear it much, "The Only One Intense" being my new signature scent).
This very feminine perfume really puts me in a good mood, and I think it's versatile which is why it could be your signature scent. Summer, winter, night, day, work, evening, it matches every occasion and place! But beware to overspray, it could be heady at the end of the day.
Oddly enough, it's one of the few chypre scents that I love! Normally, I tend to go for the "floriental" perfumes.
I prefer the version Si intense (the black one) to this one though, so I'd give it a: 8.5/10
freshgenie
This is my very safe option. I wore it to school every single day, it was my signature scent for a long time and I kept repurchasing it. I think it's a classic.
stephanienwc
This is my safe go-to daytime perfume. It's elegantly soapy, inoffensive and womanly. It's really nice but plays it safe. Could be a good mom scent.
Isabella14
This perfume stands out because it adds an oriental twist to the scents of vanilla and rose which I think is fun and interesting. I like the vibe so much I wore it on my wedding day.
north43star
This smells so sour on my skin. Like a very dry wine. It’s a Hard pass for me, but if you can rock it, good for you.
GoodNose
I love this perfume. It's my first "serious" perfume, and it's naturally become my signature scent for years.
It's just a really beautiful perfume with notes that work perfectly together. It is very sophisticated, classy and romantic.
Perfect for all occasions. I think because it's quite a heavy perfume, it works even better during the colder seasons or during a night out.
The longevity of Si is superb too. I can smell this on my clothes days after.
nhubella
I try it on the test strip.
It's a well known perfume, and I'm happy to get to know it. Sadly, my 1st impression is kinda off, but hours later, the dry down is much prettier. To me, this is perfect for women who are 35+, because this is very classy and mature, not sexy, but very elegant.
Ruba99
My first perfume bottle i love it and get me compliments
Tixsa
UK people. I have 100ml bottle, gifted to me for my birthday available for swap. 2ml missing (if). Try me with anything, i am open to woody, creamy, fresh, ambery, milky notes.

This is the perfume you want to wear if you are the sophisticated yet fun person at work. This is definitely a pretty girl scent. It’s clean yet alluring at the same time. This will take you from the office to dinner. I always get compliments with Si. A sparkly boozy vanilla with ripe fruit. Almost like a sparkling sangria! I sprayed it on this morning for work and it’s 8 o’clock at night, and I can still smell it. The longevity in this fragrance is amazing. The rose in this fragrance is beautiful as well.
lola911
This is such a beautiful and classy scent! I've worn this to work and I've worn it out, it's so versatile. Sillage isn't super great, but if someone comes in your bubble, you will smell warm and inviting. A beautiful, classy vanilla and one of my favorites in my whole collection. I feel like people in their 20's and up could pull this off.... teens might think it a bit too mature.
Sophia97
Best perfume I ever had, worth to buy and definitely repurchase!
Vicky456
This is kind of hard to describe imo. It’s really really nice, especially on the drydown. I get a sweet fruity fresh scent in the opening, more floral heavy there but not headache inducing. Then it starts to warm up and get woodier. It has a vibe of mens cologne but not as strong and spicy, the woodiness from it is definitely why i get that. It’s soft while being a great mixture of vanilla and floral with a background of wood.
joikgirl
Got it for Christmas one year, many year back, maybe the 30ml. I really loved it as a teenager and used it up quickly.
Now smelling it from the tester- it is still as good as I remember it being.
It is so feminine and light to your nose. You can wear it any season, any time of the day. Cassis is just an amazing top note, freesia and rose are not too overpowering, so it doesn't go too floral and vanilla makes it just enough for my liking.
Maybe in the future getting full bottle again.
alcoughy
I’ll start off by saying I am NOT a die hard fragrance connoisseur. I just find stuff that smells nice and go with it. I ADORE this scent. I’ve seen some people say it smells like wine or incense and is more mature, and I can somewhat agree. But to me the best way to describe how this smells is a what you’d imagine that classy, beautiful woman alone at the bar who radiates MILF energy but doesn’t have kids. This perfume doesn’t make me the center of the show, but it feels like I’m that one woman who you can’t help but always notice. The scent lingers and you crave her. It’s woodsy, warm, romantic with a hint of feminine fruit and vanilla. I just bought my second bottle and this will be a staple in my collection. It just feels classy and upscale. It’s a night out in Greece but you just sip white wine alone on a balcony while others marvel at you from afar. It settles into such a heavenly, sexy scent. I can see the mature aspect, but as a 25 y/o, it makes me feel like old money rather than grandmas cottage.
smellworthy
This perfume smells just like honey to me! It is very sweet with a floral and earthy touch, just like a jar of honey. I like it better than most of the flankers. Its too feminine for me to pull off, but when I worked at Sephora I would always recommend it to any ladies looking for a new scent.
msquito
This perfume smells just like incense on my skin. I literally hate it.
gretta
This literally makes my mouth water. Si is boozy and fruity and sweet, in a great way. This smells like a great option for summer. I love this!
Laura Ke
Used a 30 ml off Si edp in 3/4 months it was My signature scent in winter ! End off 2023 i will rebuy this Or the intense one! Love them both
Sa7ar
It's a very strong perfume.. I saw it in all best sellers perfumes and bought samples twice to look for what was reviewed.. It's really aweful and everytime I spray it to give it a chance I wash it off after 5 mins.. I really hate it and want it gone.. The other acceptable si that I've tried was Si fiori.. Feels promising
PKSMKE
As I read some of the reviews below, I wonder if they are for one of the flankers? I don't recognize the lovely, elegant Si in the descriptions. I don't get a boozy note, and I certainly don't get neroli. Si is one of the rare fragrances that I tried as a purse spray (10 ML) and loved enough to buy a full bottle. I will acknowledge, however, that I'm old enough to have grown up wearing Chypres, so appreciate this type of fragrance.
Dee97
This is a really nice perfume, smells like sparkly champagne with a hint of vanilla.. but it doesn’t agree with my skin chemistry. Smelled much better on paper! But I gave it to my mum and it smells nice on her. It’s funny how perfumes that don’t smell good on me, smell good on her 😂
Morgan45
I didn't understand people describing this as having a "wine" smell at first. I get it now, but only at the very opening on spraying it. And I'm not mad at it. Some people don't love it, but Si makes my eyes roll back when I smell it. To me, it smells warm and very softly vanilla-woody. I don't really find it "sexy", but I do find it casually sophisticated and elegant. It makes me feel put-together even if I'm just dressed down running errands. I love it.
Youlerie
Mostly currant liqueur and very one-dimensional, imo. Then the scent becomes oddly soapy (because of the neroli?). I find the sillage to be extremely weak!
cocodust
Wow, I am liking this and is now firmly on my wish list. It is rare to never event for me to find a rose I like but they have managed it with this one for me because it is sweet rather than too soapy. I keep going back and smelling my tester strip :)
JustAsh
Its not complex or anything but it’s a nice, clean, feminine fragrance. I would wear this to the office or out to get a couple drinks. It’s a classy, classic scent…I don’t see anyone under 30 wearing this. Don’t take that as “old lady” though. It’s soft and warm. This isn’t a scent you wear if you want to be noticed and receive a lot of compliments (if you’re into that). I get decent projection and longevity out of it.
LunaLou
I bought this on recommendation from friends and family, it was a blind buy but at a greatly reduced price.
I like this, but I also don't...
To me its very strong and affects my sinuses and also can trigger a headache, as a result I rarely wear it.
On my first few tries I hated it, it felt too mature, offensive and just overpowering. However I've grown to tolerate it, the more I wear it the more I find I don't mind the scent, maybe I've grown used to it.
It lasts ages, and is very noticeable. Too strong for me unfortunately.
sofiaaquiros
I like this fragrance a lot, it’s sweet and sophisticated. Although it may be cloying at times, it gives me a sense of comfort I can’t explain. I recommend it if you like sweet and versatile scents.
Cinlee
Edit: OK so I take it all back, I have no idea what was going on with my skin & nose on the day I tried this but I was way off the mark with my scathing review (see below). I have been using this for a week now and it's quite nice, just don't over spray, something that I am notorious for doing. I will say though that the longevity isn't great (1-3 hours), for the price point I expect it to last 4 - 6 hours, so as a not so money flush person it's not really worth it cash wise for me, if you have money to burn then I guess it doesn't matter how long it lasts. I will continue to use the bottle I have but I won't repurchase when it's gone.
Ugggg I hate it.... when this first came out a girl in my office wore it and I loved the smell of it on her, so I finally got around to buying a bottle a few days ago (it's taken me 9 years to get around to it lol). Well, in the store on the perfume testing strip it smelt nice. Fast forward, to getting home and putting it on my skin and I'm a gagging, nauseated, mess... this is so aggressive on me. It is just bombarding me with a tart sour smell and it is giving me a huge headache. It is definitely long lasting and loud, after 3 wash and scrubs I still can't totally get it off my skin and my nasal passages feel like they have been permanently scared by this noxious stench! I'm so sad to have wasted $149.... this is the most expensive perfume fail I've ever had.
tanny_ups
I heard this perfume projected very well, but it actually doesn’t at all. I bought a 50ml in discount and, even thought I don’t regret it, I don’t think it’s a good value for money. It doesn’t last and it doesn’t project much. I think it’s because it has been reformulated
Czill
Pretty scent for everyday, unfortunately absolutely weak and therefore not worth the money.
Not a typical rose scent, I mostly get woodsy (not too sweet) vanilla.
essto
1st designer perfume I bought. I honestly love the smell and would recommend it. The performance is also good.
marinaw90
I'm always so late to the party with popular designer scents - part of me automatically assumes I'll hate them. But I was soooooo pleasantly surprised with Si, I am in love. It is an easy wear, not groundbreaking, no, but very elegant and classy. So surprised with how many dislike votes this has! I guess to some it is boring and unimaginative. I love the fact it is understated but classic - there is always a place in my collection for a scent like this.
yeesa_
I dont understand the reviews. It was an instant headache for me and smelled like a typical perfume and mature. Not my taste
aeharris
a classic! it smells like a sparkling wine
housesandrooms
On my skin, it smelled like raspberry lambic. At the time, my natural chemistry emphasized sweet, honeyed, bready smells. Because of this, the woodiness was completely lost on me. Instead, the boozy notes come across quite stale, not effervescent -- like a bar's countertop after a holiday weekend. I find it performs better if put on the exterior of cotton clothes. Overall, I prefer it on other people.
Shahrzaad
Absolutely the best scent for a walk on a cold rainy autumn day. Very comforting, and at the same time great for the office. You will be taken seriously. Great for important work meetings and so on.
hola gigi
When I first tried this, I thought it was too green/earthy for my tastes. I had to fall in love with the intense version before revisiting this and discovering that I actually do like it... On clothes, the cassis comes through more but on my skin I experience a beautiful rose, vanilla, patchouli blend. There is a fruity essence at first although no fruity notes are listed here. Definitely office friendly & signature scent worthy as many others have said. It's not overwhelming or extraordinary, but that's what makes it special.. that it could work in so many scenarios. Not saying they smell alike, but it reminds me of the same patchouli & same flexibility of La Vie Est Belle.
Shui-Xian
A big "Sì" to this precious-one. I definitely fall in love.
The vanilla is very gentle and gives a warm, sweet aroma to the other notes. Rose and fresia are feminine, but the flowery aroma isn't exactly dominant. I love the balance between the wood base and young, bright higher notes. It is inspiring, optimistic, but also traditional in a good way.
This perfume is made for considering it seriously but mostly: enjoyable.
Nice longevity (6 hours), sillage moderate and unoffensive, comfortable.
Carriej967
This fragrance made me realize that I like boozy notes. It's delicious. I get grapefruit from it like another reviewer said below. And the vanilla really rounds it out. It's a bold rich scent. I'm not sure about sillage. I never have any luck with sillage with any of my perfumes it seems, but the longevity of Si is decent. I wear it for my own pleasure anyway.
saffe
Good everyday scent! I find hard to distinct different notes though. Smells all around woody, vanilla and sweetish floral with mature twist. I would describe this just as "perfumey", rather basic in that sense 😅 Which isn't neccesarily a bad thing, I find this easily wearable, works for day and night and for the days when you just want something that isn't too complex. So I understand why this is many people's signature scent. But like with many luxury brands you pay extra for the name (I have this only as a tester). If you want to have vegan and cruelty free dupe for this, I would recommend Revolution Beauty's Timeless. Smells pretty much identical, longevity is not as good though since Timeless is an edt but you can streach the longevity by putting on vaseline on skin before spraying! You are welcome ❤
Yusrayacoubi
You have to wear this a couple of times to understand it, honestly. So get a sample and wear it a few times. It smells sweet from the vanilla but with a hint of rose and the chasis. Delicious. Is smart, is classy and put together. Perfect for the office days.
VanniGodfrey
Sì is stunning! It glimmers and shines when I smell it, and it lasts eons. One application on either side of my neck lasts all day and I get pleasant, gentle gusts all throughout. What I love most about this perfume is that it doesn't really change from beginning to end, it just smells beautiful from the second you spray it until it eventually fades away. It's effervescent, sheer, and delicate, and to me it smells like an expensive sparkling drink, or maybe a wine of some kind. Not particularly floral, not exactly vanilla...it's somewhat identifiable to me. It's mysterious and opulent, and just beautiful in every sense (or scents) of the word. Just breathtaking. An instant favorite for me, and definitely one I'll be repurchasing in the future!
Eva Wu
Turns out I'm a fruity girl after all. :/
I've always been a bit ashamed by my penchant for sweet, berry-and-vanilla perfumes. I thought it was slightly unsophisticated and juvenile on my part, so I'd made a conscious effort to avoid gourmands for a while.
Not anymore my friends. I feel completely confident in saying I love Armani Sì, because it makes jammy fruitiness seem as classy and chic as any french floral or arabian oud.
To be sure, it starts with an explosion of raspberries and continues with a smiling, sweet fuzz of patchouli and vanilla.
Despite this hot pink cloud of fun, it has a wine like richness, and a woody smoothness that makes me think of the proper, ladylike chypres of yore.
Thus, having redeemed fruitiness, Armani Sì strides with me wherever I go, making me feel like Audrey Hepburn at her sunniest.
secorneli1202
Oh boy, this is a seductive perfume! I get a Kir Royale opening followed with smooth woody patchouli and vanilla drydown. My 16 year old daughter declared "it smells like rich people - whatever they're supposed to smell like". LOL
sunbunny
Absolutely beautiful!
I've always been a fan of vanilla/musk fragrances, and they've always been a fan of me. By saying this, I mean that my body chemistry works particularly well with these notes. Overly floral scents tend to pull sour on me, and I can't stand sickly sweet, celebrity-esque scents. This is the perfect balance of warm, cozy vanilla, delicate, fresh floral and slightly sweet fruitiness.
The first time I wore it out, I got stopped by four separate strangers asking what perfume I was wearing. On top of this, several of my male friends have commented on "how delicious" and "how sexy" I smell. This has never happened to me before - I'm sold!
I can see this being both a day and night perfume, however, because of the price and because I adore this scent so much so that I don't want to EVER get sick of it (due to overkill), I'll use this solely as a night, "special" perfume.
In short, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this perfume. I will continue to buy as long as it's made. Hats off to you, Armani/Nagel, this is truly a masterpiece.

Gosh, this stuff is INTOXICATING!!!! I can only really say that cause that's what happens to me when I wear this one.
I just sniff, sniff, sniff the air allllll day!
Great in the fall and cold weather.
I received countless compliments on this also. Even my cousin had to go out right away and purchase this intoxicating liquid of uplifting joy in a bottle!!!
One of my fave Armani fragrances!

ouch! it is simply monstrous, industrial fruit juice has a more refined smell than that. There was an error, it is a flanker of Fanta.
Armani Soda?
The Swedish girl
Patcouli (that smells like old beer) and indolic farty flowers mixed with sweet candy notes.
Again.
Can someone PLEASE come up with something new?!
PLEASE!!!

First there was Viktor & Rolf "Flowerbomb", then there was "La vie est belle" by Landcôme, all the sudden there was also "Manifesto" by Yves Saint Laurent, and now this. It seems like the guys on L'Oréal can't come up with anything else than Flowerbomb-clones that just tend to get sweeter and sweeter...

To each their own and all that (for me NOT this fume, for sure -> I dislike it enaugh to not talk about it), but what really bugs me, and it bugs me really really A LOT:
This is called "chypre".
I mean, c'mon. That's not what chypre was intented to smell like. Call it fruity fruit mix with some patchouli or whatever, but not chypre. Give those new "chypre" fumes that are not allowed to use real chypre ingredients it's own category name! Don't use this "sacred" term!!! Yeah, I know, I'm a granny with a granny brain and a granny taste and a granny wardrobe, I'm boring and oldfashioned, I don't get it at all, I know, but still.
Chypre is unpolite, unfruity, bold and diva like. Only for the brave (did I steal that phrase from someone... ;). Si is none of it.

Ambroxan is a synthetic compound that recreates ambergris. To truly experience ambroxan, try Juliette Has a Gun's "Not a Perfume." As for this fragrance, it does nothing but provides a clean base.
I had high hopes for this, when I first saw the notes.
However, I see how this is going. Cheap currant notes (ostentatiously referred to as Cassia, when it's just a fancy way of saying NONDESCRIPT DARK BERRY) meshed with patchouli, to produce a scent that's like everything else out there these days. Heightened vanilla to make it edible, rose and ambroxan to ground it, and Freesia to give it a cheap "floral" smell, and wood to convince you that it's not a cheap overdone fruity mess.
Not impressed. It's too much like Manifesto and La Vie Est Belle. Straight up vanilla with "something else" to make it something other than a solely-vanilla composition. With Manifesto, the other notes gave it a daiquiri smell, and with La Vie Est Belle, the other edible shit made it spicy and "interesting" for the mom's that browse the Lancome counte.
