Got as a sample. What can I say? Way too overpriced. I don’t understand this wild excitement around this. I smell blackcurrant clearly, although I like it, in this aroma it is suffocating and gives me a headache. For a party with colleagues, it’s only suitable for a woman 50+, but not for a young girl. I don't quite understand why lately "brand" scents are so terrible and suffocating. This is not the first time I have smelled this. Moreover, it evaporates quickly, but it stinks strongly while it is “working”.

hrhalexandru6

Twice as syrupy than the original. Absolutely lovely fragrance, it starts with a boozy-like blackcurrant liquor, dries down into the classic Sì EDP scent, only much stronger. I'm a sucker for Armani's Sì collection and it's a bummer that some are discontinued. I was lucky to get this as clearance. As a man I'm going to say that this is far better than the newer version of the Sì EDP intense. A pleasure in a 50ml bottle, to be used as a comfort fragrance. It's such a delight.

rhaineclayton

I used to have a dupe of the original Si, but tired of it quickly.
This is gorgeous. Very syrupy and maybe a tad boozy? But, still very much has the original Si DNA.
Reminds me a lot of Burberry Black in how sweet, syrupy and fruity it is - only the peach in BB is replaced with blackcurrant.

Frangipanilove

Nice, if not hugely original. Lots of rose on the opening, boosted by the freshness from the currant leaf, on a backdrop of amber/benzoin. Overall this is quite sweet, syrupy and juicy - it manages just about to stay out of falling into cloying category - still, a cold weather issue. Lovely but I’d prefer a bit more complexity and maybe dial down the benzoin a bit.

Armani you should never discontinue this beauty! Among the Si flankers I've smelt, this is the closest version to Si Le Parfum, which dare I say has the niche quality, but has also been discontinued unfortunately. Si Intense 2021 is fruity, syrupy, boozy, ambery with a rosy undertone. Despite being very sweet, it never gets juvenile. I'd say this is a younger sister of Le Parfum. Le Parfum is boozier, more ambery and less floral, which is my favourite in the Si line. I can easily tell the difference between the 2023 intense version and this version. The former is more vanilla forward, which to me smells very similar to La Belle. This version has more depth, more grown-up, maybe thanks to the resinous quality from the benzoin and booziness brought by the fermented fruits. Not saying the 2023 version is bad. It's still pleasant, but I definitely prefer the 2021 version.

I was almost about to sell it before knowing it's been discontinued and luckily changed my mind. Now I even just bought a backup lol. Please get it when you can at a reasonable price. The only problem for me is it doesn't project much, but has good longevity.

@loves2read I just got a bottle of Si Intense and I was wondering if maybe I got a bad bottle. I can't smell anything at all even if I douse myself in it

Katelynl88

Hmmm . I can smell the original dna in this intense version but it’s quite different at first . This is creamier and sweeter reminds me of the og si mixed with Burberry goddess or kayali wedding silk santal . The dry down is closer to the og but it seems like it is a sweet nectar version . I like it. . I really liked the first one too . This reminds me quite a bit of the korres coconut guava body cream . This might end up being fb worthy or I might pick up a regular si, it’s been years since I wore that one . It is different than a lot of the other scents I think .

loves2read

I have no idea why I can smell My Way by Armani real strong, but I can´t smell Si at all. I have tried Si Intense today and for me it is too weak. It has no projection at all. When I sprayed it, at first I couldn´t smell anything. In about 10 minutes I could smell something after almost touching my nose to my skin.
I have no idea why that is happening, whether my sense of smell is focused only on sweet, gourmand perfumes.

girldeadbug

I had no idea that “Si Eau De Parfum Intense” was even a thing. But Armani is making sure everybody hears about My Way Nectar, which is getting so-so and meh reviews. Pretty upsetting! So “Si Intense” has been repackaged for a 3rd time now. No telling how many times it’s been reformulated between these 3 bottles… Maybe they knew customers would be upset. But then, why actually put effort into a new bottle design? Obviously biting YSL Libre, but still, it is gorgeous. Surprised they didn’t call it Si Elixir… Si Eau De Parfum Intense is too long to say or type. Ugh. 😒

lolllee2nd

I love Si EDT but it has zero longevity on me and EDP is too strong. I ordered samples of Si Intense and Passione to see if either was similar to EDT but longer lasting. While I can see similarities, each is distinct. Si Intense while nice is just one note on me, a lovely warm hot buttered rum, that fades quickly to a warm white chocolate. Reminds me of Silk Way that I had years ago. It's nice, but I'm more drawn to Passione.

Somsoms

They refomulated it 😭

tmonique11

I have the original version of Si Intense and I'm not really a fan. It's sort of bland to my nose. I haven't smelled the new 2023 version yet but suspect I'll like it since I'm a bourbon vanilla lover. However, this version is the most comforting fragrance I own. Even after 300 bottles this is the one I turn to for warmth and peace. I cannot believe Armani has discontinued this version. I'm so distraught over it. I just bought a replacement 100 ml as my 50 ml is on its last leg and I've been lathering myself in it since it is so affordable (for me). Now after learning about the discontinuing of this bedrock fragrance I rushed to buy 3 more 100 ml bottles as I can never be without this.

What are these brands doing? Just put out a new flanker, don't try to use the existing fragrance ADD NEW NOTES, and call it the same thing! It's is a vanilla version of Si Intense. Call it Si Vanille or something. Like wtf... really!

Sarra816

Dark boozy scent that is sweet and powerful. Perfect for the colder seasons and the nighttime. It is the right amount of intense, the woody notes balance the sweetness so well and tends to always get someone to ask me what I am wearing.
Pretty good longevity and projection as well. This is just beautiful and gives off elegance

Thranduilseyebrows

Very nice and balanced well. Very sweet and powerful, not good on a hot Australian day. Very feminine, but not in a bad white floral way like other perfumes. It's something i would wear on my wedding day, the dry down is good because some of the intensity goes away. 4/5

Dani91

I blind bought this after smell Sí original from a friend and fell in love with it. I liked the idea of an intense as I want a fragrance that lasts and you and others actually know you're wearing it. And this didn't disappoint! I'm glad I got the full size bottle after hearing it has been discontinued bc this one is very nice! Sweet and ambery with some spice. On very first spray it smells like that 'old lady perfume' but after less than a minute of dry down that quickly fades and you get that beautiful sweet, syrupy, warm rose and ambery scent everyone is talking about! I paid 100$ for a full size on a black Friday deal and will treasure her bc she's a stunner ❤️

autumnblue914

They really went and discontinued this and gave us a much inferior version. I really wanted to get this one at some point and I thought "I got some time, it came out in 2021 after replacing an older Intense version, surely they won't discontinue it again (clueless)."

Such a shame, I really wanted to get it. And since it wasn't that old the prices never went too down (which is what I was waiting for), and now they won't go down either because it has been discontinued so they want to profit off of that.

Update: I went to the store and tested it and caved and bought it from a discounter, still wish the price was lower but given that this is the only Si I've ever liked I feel the need to have it.

It's just so pretty - you do get the syrupy texture and sweetness but it's not sickeningly sweet by any means. You get the warm amber, and the slight green undertone. It feels like a freshly made, comforting syrup. The OG Si (as it is currently, in its watered down state) and the new Intense can't even begin to compare to this.

Twentzel

I was revisiting some old fragrance samples and fell in love with this one (again): strong, opulent, with this beautiful benzoin to lift it up!
I ran to secure this 2021 version since the 2023 version has vanilla and I don't like it!

Dalya_sultan9

Wow, this is really a stunner 😍
So warm, fruity, syrupy and balsamic.
I didn't care much for the OG because it has cassis
And strong patchouli notes, but this one is much better without strong green notes.
At the opening a blast of blackcurrant nectar and warm amber notes and at the dry down the sweet rose come in beautifully with the same warm amber/benzene base.
One of my favorite, Love it.

Zee89

It definitely has the same original Si DNA, but it's more mature and dense. I get many compliments when I wear it.

TheFl0rist

This one reminds me of Si edp. Same DNA , darker deeper richer! That's it! Performance is great, longevity as well.
I love to bathe in this during colder months!

I have found recent batches of Si edp watered down, I have a sample of Si edp from few years back. Intense 2021 smells very close to older batches of Si edp.

It also reminds me of Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, Van Cleef & Arpels rose rouge, and tresor midnight rose. It falls into same category of jammy rose with different facets.

brandybasisty

I was prepared to love this. Black current syrup? Jammy rose? Yes please! And the opening didn't disappoint. I got a boozy berry and roses accord that's reminiscent of Maison Lancôme Roses Berberanza. But the Davana note steps in at the drydown and gives me Head & Shoulders shampoo vibes. That smell then stays for duration of the wear and ruins it for me. Can anyone recommend a bougie substitute for this fragrance without the davana? This fragrance gave me moderate projection and good longevity with a few sprays (I'd be afraid of inducing a headache if I used more). By the time it becomes a skin scent at the 8-9 hour mark, it smells alot like The Body Shop Strawberry glycerin soap bar.

Axxn

Truly beautiful! I was sceptical to buy this and wanted to try the first Si intense black bottle as I love the original but I’m glad I did. Smells like a richer version of the original SI and it’s such shame that it’s been discontinued. Hope they bring both the intense versions back

LindaL100

I much prefer this newer updated version of Si Intense compared to the old formula, the old version was too spicy and didn't smell that nice. This newer version is alot more sweeter and less spicy and smells more pleasant.

grafgr

It's a gorgeous ambery rose with real performance. I left my office for an hour (with windows open) and when I got back, my personal scent cloud was waiting for me there. Although it's quite strong, it's never suffocating, in fact I find it quite airy. 10/10 perfection.

Perfeccionnnnnnn

Allthingssparkle

I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't end up liking this because I LOVE black currant in fragrances! I've tried wearing this several times, and there's an underlying 20% note that makes this too mature for me. I think it's the benzoin. Benzoin has medicinal properties, and there's an underlying medicinal note in this that reminds me of cough syrup or black licorice and makes this unenjoyable.

If this had less benzoin, where I didn't notice it, I think I'd like it. The original Si was too spicy, Si Intense is too medicinal and powdery. So it sounds like Si is a Nada for me. :/

Moeytja

Loooove love love this scent! Sorry to admit that im a niche snob if u wanna call it that. I own very few designer perfumes and this is in my top 2. If not my favorite designer scent. Niche quality for sure. This is really decadent, the rose is so well done here. I find rose really difficult to get just right and here i only smell the best qualities of the rose. Juicy, jammy, sexy, comforting, clean. A very versatile scent i find. This will be my go to scent for early fall! Transitioning into fall. It was instant love for me, when the original is too woody for me.

silverlocusts

I was hopeful about this, but unfortunately something turns to play-doh on my skin. In the bottle it is lovely, though not as intense as the name would imply, but the scent does match with the juice. I love black currant, but I think it’s just too dang sweet here. Womp womp.

Eternity Girl

I prefer the original Intense (black bottle) which I fortunately still have alot of BUT this is still wonderful.
Long lasting quality fragrance. Im happy to have it.

tmonique11

Listen... I am no fan of patchouli or blackcurrant. I detest every Si flanker as I've literally blind bought them all after mistakenly liking a tester spray of Si Passione Eclat. I've decluttered all of them except this one. Sí Intense has me deep inhaling in my shirt, looking for more of that sweet earthy patchouli. Have I become a PATCHOE???

fragrancetravel

At first sniff all I could comment on is how sweet this juice is. It does smell edible. Very similar to Lush’s Rose Jam on the initial spray - which made me nervous as I find that smell nauseating. However, as it dries down it becomes a lovely sweet, earthy syrup. Great if you want a cloud of aroma following behind you - fabulous if you love for your scent to be stuck to your clothes.

morphoevgenia

For me, this is a syrup from canned pineapple. Amber+ candied anything creates the smell that I identify as syrup pineapple. In the beginning sickening, later becomes lil aired up, and overall resembles Francis Kurkdjian creations from my collection, which is Lolitaland and My Burberry Black. It is very thick-sweet amber.

mevans

If you like Si, you're gonna really like Intense. Slightly different notes that the original but it still carries that signature scent about it. Intense is a delicious syrupy sweet fruity rose set against a green, earthy base. I know Si a victim of it's own popularity but it will always be one of my favourites. It's sexy and classy at the same time. Maybe a bit much for very warm weather but I spray away any other time.

nina_22

I love this one! Very feminine and sexy! Definitely more of a night time perfume. Amazing longevity (way better than the original on my skin) and nice sillage!

jazzscent13

I love the way this smells... Si intense has a more pronounced rose note, and a jammy under tone then the original. However, I don't find this to perform any better than the original though. The performance isn't "intense" enough to me. I still enjoy this fragrance though :)

chimidoro

A deeper, woodier version of Rose Absolu by Yves Rocher or Rose Jam by LUSH.

Looooove this, but find myself yearning for the grapefruit freshness in the opening of the original Si. I really love both. I love the freshness and more natural style of the blackcurrant in the original, but love the deeper, woodier, rosier nuances in this. Am torn.

None of the Si perfumes last very well on me, sadly. I enjoy the opening so don't mind topping up. But it's something to keep in mind.

$ortabroke

My favorite fragrance of all time! A syrupy, thick, jammy blackcurrant and sweet rose scent. I often wear this mixed with La Nuit Tresor, and one time, the morning after a long night in his car, he told me he got into his car, smelled my scent and got excited all over again. Truly an enchanting scent.

Diari

Does anyone else think this smells close to Angel Nova? It's possibly the rose patchouli combo (nova's akigalawood is actually modified patchouli after all)

stylishchickenbone28

Definitely loving this, and I definitely think I want it. I loved the original Si, but found it quite fleeting. This is heavy, syrupy and just straight up gorgeous. Rose patchouli and blackcurrant just make this unique, in that its easily identifiable. Lasts ages, too.

Project Nostalgia

Syrupy, thick, jam 🍇
This is gorgeous. Sweet but not juvenile. The vanilla and patchouli help to ground the cassis.
Suited for evenings and colder weather I think.
Such a cosy, snuggly and seductive scent. I think you'd be fighting people off wearing this one!
Perfect scent for date night when you want to get dressed up and have a nice meal and some wine. That's what I picture when I smell this one 🍷

Indianrunnerduck

This is alright. I don't love it but I don't hate it either. I can smell the fruitiness but not specifically black currant. I really love blackcurrant and can't find it here. After the fruitiness comes a caramel which is lovely and mouthwatering but it isn't what I was looking for.

Edit:
Ok I do love this. It's delicious. Sexy toffees. I can still smell it on my dressing gown days later and it's beautiful. Still no blackcurrant but I can look elsewhere for that.

TessaG

Oh, my God. This is my new signature scent for fall, winter, and summer nights. I think I had literally tried every scent in the store before I finally tried this one, and I bought it right away. This was a 'when you know, you know' perfume for me. It smells wealthy, feminine, spicy, sweet, and that black current stays with the scent throughout. I normally hate patchouli anything, but I don't notice it in this at all. Probably not a safe blind buy. Great sillage without being overpowering, and long-lasting. LOVE IT!

sevde.kasa

This beauty opens with grapes & benzoin. And patchouli quickly starts to dominate from the start. Rose is also accompanied from the background even though it is not very loud 🌹 I always say it again and again, normally I don't like patchouli in perfumes. Here, too, I cannot say that its existence is vague. Even though it has a distinctly noticeable patchouli use, it never scratches to my nose. All the notes are so beautifully blended that it's one of those rare designer perfumes that really gives me a niche feel. The new Si Intense is an interpretation between the Classic Si and the old Si Intense, but if I have to specify one side, I found it closer to the Classic Si. I have used 4 or 5 bottles of the classic Si for years. One bottle of black intense, but I definitely think this is the best flanker so far🌹 By the way, it's a very, very lasting scent but it does not project well on my skin.

ava96

Really great scent! It reminds me of the original Si, but a bit deeper and less headache inducing for me (Si is my signature perfume, I love it, but it does cause me a headache even if I spray just a bit). I am liking this one a lot. You can really smell the blackcurrant in the drydown, it's sexy and it lingers. My boyfriend doesn't usually like my perfumes but he said this one is really nice and very sexy, so I'm over the moon that we agree for once :D

LeyKh

I first received a sample of this which had a cap instead of a spray. I fell in love instantly! It has this booziness to it due to the blackcurrant syrup note and sweetness that feels balanced. I do wish it lasted longer and projected more, but i'll take it!

autumnblue914

Sweeter and woodier compared to the original Si. Something soon after the opening throws me off slightly, maybe the rose or the gavana (because I don't think I've ever smelled gavana before). Hard to explain, it just kind of pokes my nose in the same sense as how mint does, it doesn't smell like mint but it pokes my nose in the same way.

Becomes slightly powdery over time. But mainly warm, ambery, sweet and fruity. A deeper and darker Si. I think I prefer it over the original.

GUADELUPA

After the first application it reminds me of the classic Si, but soon it begins to differ from OG, I can smell the intense note of blackcurrant, or rather even blackcurrant syrup, as stated above. The fragrance is beautiful, I love all Si flankers. However, I can not understand why this is called the Intense. There is nothing intense here. Longevity and sillage are average. Maybe, only blackcurrant is intense. Do not try to compare it with the classic Si. Intense version itself is very worthy, feminine and beautiful fragrance! I put it on a shelf near the original Si. I love them both!

Elfin Will

A more amber and less fresh version of the original "Si". The old "Si Intense" (the black one) is the closest to the original, and it's fresh and aromatic. In this version, I perceive mostly amber (of course because of the benzoin which was not dominant in the old versions), which makes it more heady and less fresh. It is pleasant, but personally I prefer the old "Si Intense". Too bad it has been discontinued...

8/10

Stellabear

Si Intense is a great warm syrupy fragrance. I own a lot of floral perfumes so I was looking for something just like this for the Fall and Winter. It's the perfect change I needed. I also picked up La Belle which has a similar vibe. Really like this and will keep it in my collection.

Controlledbyscent31

I used to own the black si intense and I thought this was going to be a replacement it so isn't! Armani please bring back the black bottled juice 🥺

Morgan45

My bottle of Si Intense finally arrived and I am not disappointed. I love the original Si and, as you would hope, the Intense version smells very, very similar. To me, it simply smells richer, deeper and a little darker. It smells a little less "winey" but a wee bit more "boozey" than original Si. What this does in my opinion, is take Si from day into night.
One thing that scared me a little is that there is a slight "tar" note that comes out on me for about ten minutes after spraying, but it disappears quickly.
I'd have a hard time choosing if I had to pick one, and I don't think you really need both, but I'm happy to have both now.

icecream_milkshake

Smells like a jammy, thick, expensive black currant red wine pulp. It’s boozy without smelling like you just drank a full bottle of wine and spilled on yourself. It’s sexy and cozy and perfect for cold weather. I prefer this so much over the original Si. Si intense is more jammy, sweeter, stronger and way more long lasting than the original.
This is a beast of a fragrance on me. I wore it yesterday, but I only sprayed my wrists. Went to sleep, woke up and took a shower. 20h later and it’s still going strong! I think I need to get a backup bottle of this one, before it eventually is discontinued or reformulated and the preformance is ruined! That’s a thing apparently!

gnathaliegh

I might be in the minority but I still prefer the original Si.
The Intense version is nice, but the sharpness of the black current sirup combined with the strong rose & davana in the middle notes makes this quite hard to wear for me and it can be headache inducing. Unfortunately, I don't get much sweetness in this one. It's still a pretty scent and I do understand why many people like this better than the original EdP since it is deeper, warmer and longer lasting.
It performs really well. It does project beautifully and it lasts the whole day on my skin. I just find the original to be much smoother and the sweet vanilla really balances out the tarte cassis note.

Shui-Xian

Extremely pretty... Sì collection is my guilty pleasure.
Yes, it is not natural, the syrupy is jammy and sweet with rose, but it is nicely composed fragrance. Basic Sì is less fruity, more flowery, but Intense has the same vibe: joyful, soft and cozy.

Because of benzoin I am asociating vanilla and I like it. It is gentle and warm, perfect base for gourmet enjoyment.

Sillage is pleasantly moderate, but people around will notice (and compliment). Longevity long and beautifully developing.

Tinyriceball

Okay so my nose is really weird. I wanted to get this one because I smelled the Si at Sephora and sprayed it on my skin and it didn't last. I was under the impression that the Si intense would be the longer lasting version but when I got it, the only thing my nose could pick up was rose! Smelled nothing like the Si, in fact, smelling it thru the bottle it smells just like my Burberry black which I believe also has rose in it. I have Si fiori and it carries a blackcurrant note (which I love about the Si line) and when I smell it, my nose can only pick up the blackcurrant. So weird. Idk maybe my nose will change and hopefully start picking up on the other notes.

Olotitan

For all those Si Intense 2021 Giorgio Armani has not been discontinued the Si eau de parfum Intense 2014 black lacquer bottle is the one that has been discontinued.

Happy Holidays Y'all!

realitygreene

Wow! This fragrance is so syrupy and sweet and I think it's working here. I cannot stop sniffing my wrist. Hopefully I have a few more wears in my sample.

As is the norm with me, my left arm and right arm smell very different. Not sure why that is. One arm light and sweet with a little bit of green notes coming out. My other arm smells more densely syrupy and the patchouli is really strong.

Overall, I really like this fragrance. I feel like I am missing something like this in my collection. A sexy deeper fragrance that would be perfect for day time or night time. This is very comforting and almost cozy.

kj77

Intoxicating! I’m so in love with this perfume . It’s very similar to Labelle by JPG which is also my favorite perfume . I’m dying to try the previous version !

laramharam

in my go to store this has been discontinued? already?

DocRach2025

Sickeningly syrupy sweet. I enjoy warm sweet fragrances but this smells like fructose corn syrup. It’s smells sticky if that makes sense. If that’s something you enjoy then you will love it but if not, I would not recommend blind buying.

AshBud

I prefer the intense much more to the original. Though my favorites are still Passione and Elcat, because they bring forth more of that juicy fruit goodness. The Intense is close to the original, without the vanilla, more patchouli, and more black currant. Its still very sultry, good for colder weather, and one spray is plenty! I did two and had myself choking and coughing up a lung for a moment there.

strawberrystar

This perfume is crazy good. I love most fragrances of the Si line, and this one is no exception. It smells like boozy blackberry jam to me, and the dry down is so sexy and comfy. Perfect for cold weather.

PuppyFever

I prefer the original Si because of the loud benzoin. It's all I can smell, yummy blackcurrant syrup and overpowering benzoin that ruined what was a much anticipated Si intense.

Ancsika77

Does this perfume really discontinued? Please if anyone knows, answer.

Juicelove

Do not understand G.A. discontinuing Si Intense...
Just received my 3.4 oz bottle today thankfully!
Why you discontinued this fragrance is beyond me!
Si Intense is beautifully blended, sexy, cozy & addicting.

frootloops981

This is a sweet and lovely perfume. The best way to describe this is a rich lady at a funnel cake stand. Lol wild description I know, but it smells like a sweet blackcurrant pie. A wonderful scent that is not too mature or too young. Definitely for cooler weather.

CGud23

Armani Si Intense, to me, smells like a delicious Kir Royale cocktail! A tall glass of sparkling and bubbly black currant liquor and champagne on a cold autumn night. The setting would be in a beautiful vineyard overlooking the rolling hills with rows and rows of grape vines! The sky is pink, purple and orange and there air is crisp! Just gorgeous! ❤️

Anabee

This is my newest acquisition and my first Si fragrance. I smelled it on a free tester, didn’t want to buy it first, since I have enough fragrances already.. but this scent just wouldn’t leave me alone. After a week(!) I could still smell it on the paper, so faintly yet sooo delicious. It’s a scent I would want to drink or eat! Somebody wrote 'mouth watering' and that's exactly how I feel about it, too. I'd call this a healthy gourmand. Instead of candy you get the most delicious dried fruit, sprinkled with vanilla and cinnamon. Perfect for fall as it also reminds me of a warm fruity, slightly boozy drink.. like ‚Glühwein‘ as we say in German or ‚mulled wine‘ according to google translate.. I think there’s a different name for this, never heard of ‚mulled wine‘ lol

This will be my 'Oktoberfest' and Christmas market fragrance. I’m in love!

V.Norway92

It smells good. Nothing shocking, but good.
A warmer version of the original.

The blackcurrant was very promentant on me for the last hour or so, with the benzoin. Dry down became a more warm, nice smell. Will use this as one of my everyday scents this fall and winter as its a sweet, not too loud, perfume.

Unfortunately it’s both weak and not very lasting on me, I will continue to try it on both skin and clothes to make it last longer.

Dakota22

Reading this has black currant syrup made my mouth water. Been a fan of the original for years, but this!

Scentnotes

The notes are note all the same however it reminds me of la unit tresor.
Thick, floral, inscensy (maybe from benzoin) sexy scent.
It’s beautiful and if you have a well trained nose, you might find the differences.
This is a beautiful fragrance however it does smell like a lot of others.

Years ago, I was really scared to try any of the Sì line. It seemed like it targeted older demographic and I found very perfume-y and overdone. Got Sì Passione few months back and really enjoyed wearing it to the point of going through the bottle real quick. So I thought I would try another one of the Sì line bec why not.

Sì Intense is the it girl perfume. I’ve never tried the old formula of the original edp; however, I have tried the new formula of the OG, and it was hella green for my liking. This, on the other hand, is very syrupy and rich, smoky if you might say too. Best described as dried fruits mouthwatering heaven.

I haven’t really worn it enough to judge it based of the longevity and projection. But I would say, it lasts decently if you over-sprayed, and stays close to the skin if sprayed sparingly.

I was debating whether to get this one or Jean Paul Gaultier’s La Belle Le Parfum. And it hit me that theu really smell very similar. I was confused for a second whether I mixed the two paper test. I had to go back to the store to make sure my nose weren’t broke. And to my surprise, they are actually very similar and decided to go for a full bottle of the Sì Intense. I sewar both of them have cinnamon in their notes and my nose is not making this up.

beatrix75

My always ♥️ my sweet intense beloved blackcurrant wanilla fragrance

Naqwalan

This is the more syrupy version of Si, which to me smells like a gorgeous sparkling, fruity champagne. Been in love with the Si line since I was first introduced to it by my sister-in-law.

This intense version is heavy stuff and lingers on my cardigans for days, a quality that I love. I only wear it in the colder months - it makes me feel very cosy.

dovey

I'd say this is my fav Si
Sweet but in an Expensive sophisticated way ..........not in a childish or generic way like celebrity perfumes for example
The best way to describe it is, sweet candy like with a hint of patchouli
Quiet deep & potent
Definitely a Winter / Cold weather perfume
Similarity can be shared with poison girl , mmmmm maybe flower bomb nectar

On the pricey side but in return you get the benefit of that everlasting longevity........the one that lingers even after you wash your hands or your clothes

MaxieF

I finally tested this. Is smells like a mature barbie. It literally has a plastic artificial kind of smell like barbies. It is slightly fruity and wine like. I believe it would give me a headache due to it smelling waxy but it is nice. I don't think anyone would be offended by this. It does smell quite mature. Like if there was a "rich aunt" barbie.

I see below that someone mentioned a chapstick, yes, that's that artificial wax that I'm picking up.

victoriavitorio

beeem docinho! tipo uma bala de caramelo
pra mim é como se fosse um scandal mais contido! nesse sentido, tb senti uma nota de mel
achei ele bem concentrado, cuidado com as borrifadas !!!!

likesleet

bright & fruity. candy-like. i didnt get the patchouli or anything to ground the sweetness in so this wasn't that mature to me. it's nice but this could be anything

victoriabarretta

I have this and the original and though I like both I think I might enjoy the original a bit more for its brightness. I might even layer them together because the intense does hang around a bit longer.

TheSweaterGirl

I finally figured out what this reminds me of! When I first got this, I was thinking it was reminiscent of some kind of candy or sweet. This morning my brain did a deep dive and retrieved the scent memory for me😅. 30 years ago I had a Jelly Bean Lip Smacker. Well, apparently the blackcurrant, touch of rose and benzoin in Si Intense smell like that long lost but much adored lip balm.

I definitely don’t see this as a powerhouse, a terribly sophisticated or mature scent. Maybe because it is so similar to a lip balm I had when I was 12. But really, this is a fruity, sweet, inoffensive easy grab for daily wear in pretty much any situation. The dry down is really warm and pretty. I do enjoy this scent, but I do find it to be a simple and maybe a bit generic. I am always in the lookout for powerhouse knock outs, and this is very far from that. I have a 100ml bottle and I’m sure I’ll put it to good use when I want something fresh, fruity and warm.

Oh, I should add sillage isn’t that strong. I am wearing 8 sprays today and no one around me perceived it, although I catch whiffs of it myself. I will probably go a little heavier in the sprays in the future, as I do enjoy something that projects a bit more.

soulofscent

I dont like this. Too Generic..

lechickpea

This is such a beauty. It's like a warm autumnal version of Si, I cant get enough of that slightly spicy amber accord. I'm so jealous of those of you who get great performance from this, I have to spray quite a bit to get projection.

Here's my main issue - I occasionally get a slight smell of chemically nail polish remover, especially in the opening. Anyone else struggling with that?

Kheila

One of my all time favorites.
A very well blended, rounded and uniform fragrance.
In other words, it is what it beautifully is with minimal evolution throughout the wear. Give her about 10 minutes to settle in and it's another sailing and will stay on clothes for days.

Perfect for someone wanting a sophisticated yet indulgent rich gourmand.

It's super think. Dense. Syrupy. Sweet, thanks to the benzoin and blackcurrant syrup, but with a fruity floral feminine lift thanks to the black currant and Rose.
It's like a deep rich fruity floral caramel, but it doesn't smell like caramel. Just the feel of it. Luscious vibes.

The powerful base of this fragrance sinks it's seductive claws in, insisting on staying for the ride. The patchouli is softened with complimentary davana, lending the density of this fragrance a bit of a refreshing sparkle. All of this, whilst remaining completely enveloped in, and not muted by, gorgeous high quality sweet vanillary benzoin, which even wraps the patchouli and carries the entirety of this sexy sexy perfume.
Honestly, it's a must for those who like a good strong seductive heavy perfume.

duaa abed

i have it and i have the intense in the black bottle noo they different .
first of this is the original with woodier drydown same sweetness .
comparing it to SI black bottle there's noticeable difference this is more sweetier less patchouli more flirty 🥰

Lindsconn

The lasting power on this is INSANE! I sprayed this in the duty free in the airport at around 11am this morning, it is now 12am at the night and I can still faintly smell it! It’s silage is also so strong I could smell it through my mask!

It is a beautiful blackcurrant heavy fragrance with a patchouli base. I actually find that the dry down smells kind of like a creamy vanilla which is strange as it’s not listed in the notes.

This is such a beautiful fragrance that performs so well! It’s pretty different from the original Sì and shines in its own right! Highly recommend this fragrance.

Jasmindee

This is what I like to call a "boss bitch" perfume. You guys know the drill. Hair in a sleek bun, expensive suit and painted red lips. She is powerful, in control and everyone respects her.

I bought this for my mother as a birthday gift and she wasn't sure on it herself at first. The blackcurrant with the patchouli leaned quite masculine and dry. It was a little strong and intense, however as the day went on, the rose/benzoin combo warmed up the patchouli and it became a little softer and more feminine. She now loves it, and the bottle has pride of place on her vanity.

Si Intense is not a perfume you wear when you're running errands. This is a perfume you wear when you're feeling bold, assertive and need a confidence boost. I feel like a powerful entity when I wear this perfume, but it really suits my mum, who is definitely the matriarch of this family. (Don't tell my father I said that...)

As for me, this is maybe a liiiitttllleee too mature for my 28 year old self. (Of course, if you're younger and rock this perfume - go for it! I'm just not ready to let go of my lush vanilla-based gourmands.) I'm not 100% sold on it. I typically go for Libre Intense when I'm dolled up in my pencil skirts and high heels for work. I'll just have to sneak a spray whenever I feel like conquering the world or when I have a scary meeting with a grumpy boss and I want to feel confident.

Edit: This perfume reminds me of a lovechild born from Elizabeth Arden's Red Door and Calvin Klein's Secret Obsession.

LivsAnne

This smells nice and has a lot of the original DNA, at first I couldn’t stand the benzoin, but now it’s completely grown on me. I think I prefer this flanker to the original version.

Liljekonvall

I was recomanded this from my daughter and i am so happy i lissend to her🥰The blackcurrant pops out on me😅A huge love😍

Asca Naca

I'm convinced that Armani doesn't release a fragrance that is not good. This is amazing! It is a sexy, confident, mature scent. Very classy. It has just the right amount of sweetness. I think most anyone could pull it off and it's something that I would love to smell on someone as they passed by.

latttiful

Off of memory, it smells like Dolce gabbana Peony to me.
(I wish I could remember exactly what I had, because this smells oddly familiar.) Maybe like some Victoria's secret perfume.

Strangely this gives me teenage vibes. I used to wear something very similar to this, smells good, but not sure if I want to smell like a teen.

Dramaloladiva

I like it but…
It’s really nice but it doesn’t have the richness that Sí Le Parfum had. It doesn’t have depth either and for the intense version, though it is nice, it just doesn’t have that “it” I am looking for…You know, a little smokiness, a deep scent with berries, booze and deliciousness…

Sí Fiori (which is also discontinued) has that richness and depth and brightness of florals that I love in this line and it is my favorite flanker in the Sí line.

All in all, Sí Intense is a nice perfume but the discontinued ones are the real stars here…why is it always like that??? So frustrating 🙄😖

Dinaina

I absolutely love this fragrance, it’s sweet but not in an immature way. I find this fragrance very classy and elegant. This can easily be a signature sent.

Si intense is a very versatile fragrance and it can be worn day and night in my opinion.
I believe you can blind buy this fragrance, as long as you like the notes that are listed.

This fragrance is a big love from me and I will surely repurchase, when it runs out.

rinma

I used to snub designer fragrances in general, especially the entire sì line... I would not even try them on a stick of cardboard. I moved to Italy and the Navy Next they only sell a bunch of fragrances including Armani si Passione intense and si intense, so I decided to spray them on each hand. One minute later I was about to scrub them as they felt generic and boring, but I was caught on doing something else and let it go. To make it short, later on, I started to be obsessed with both of them and couldn't make my mind on which one was better. Two days later, I found a silly excuse to go back on base and got them both...If you like smokey incense (bakhoor type), but oud bouquet/shaghaf oud is too strong for you, try this. It is addictive, sexy, yet elegant...

kkaattjjeess

I can't really describe this perfume but I can describe the type of person I imagine wearing this (btw I don't hate this perfume at all!): She's determined, assertive, she's your boss. Don't speak to her unless it's business related. She wears stilettos all day every day. This her fall/winter scent.

costumess

I love this version as much as the original Si. In my opinion they are very similar. Even if you use it lightly, it lasts all day and the next day you smell it from your clothes. The quality of the perfume as well as its design is amazing! If you are the Si collection fan, you won't be disappointed.

Hum_C

The new Si Intense (2021) is very similar to the original EDP. It is a beautiful soft rose-patchouli scent with blackcurrant. Despite the name, it is not intense at all. It is one of those fragrances that you can wear all year round and any time and at any place. The only problem I found with this perfume is that it does not last very long on me, so I have to keep topping it up throughout the day. Otherwise, a great scent 😉😁

mandyads

This is a scent that I can definitely appreciate, but feel it does not suite me. It's slightly alluring, because it gives me a wine-like vibe (pleasant fermented fruits) and there's a warmth that is similar to standing a few feet away from a cozy fire. To me, the benzoin here acts like a sweet and syrupy amber.

Personally, I will not be adding this to my collection because it has a very perfume-like smell. This smell is something I associate with vintage perfumery and it's often what I get from designers like Giorgio Armani and Chanel. Dolce & Gabbana and Dior have done a better job balancing releases of "classic" (aka vintage) smelling fragrances along with more modern ones. I just can't get past smelling like I'm wearing perfume rather than simply smelling great; however, I do see this appealing so many.

Out of this line, I prefer Si Fiori the most. It's light, elegant, pretty, sweet and modern enough... a profile that some might be tired of right now but that I really enjoy. None of them are bad smelling by any means. BUT... Passione and it's intense version is too shampooey while the original and it's intense version are both very vintage smelling.

Catnipple

I tried both the original and the intense version and i've been debating on which one to get, i love them both! the original has a green opening but the dry down is basically 95% the exact same as the intense but what i noticed is the original lasts way longer. To me the opening in the intense version is better but the lasting power and sillage is better on the original 💯

IsSheNotFragrant

I cannot for the life of me understand the appeal of the Si fragrances. They remind me of the kind of cheap smelling perfume they made back in the day that you'd pick up in the sale basket of your local pharmacy. Highly synthetic, linear, one note kind of fragrance. To say nothing of the massive headache-inducing potential of the stale, sickly sweet chemical lollipop accord a la Joop which overwhelms the whole thing. Horrible. The designer companies dont care one jot about creating great classic quality perfumes anymore; they ride the wave of a flanker trend and milk it for all they can, all the while fully intending to discontinue a fragrance after a couple of years; this is the new business model; sell it high and then dump it. Give it a year or two and Si Intense will be going the way of her predecessors.

Sunnydai

Boozy syrup mmmm ...if you've ever played a string instrument it also smells a bit like the resins we use on the bows ...I love it!

mihaela_i

I received a small sample of Armani Si Intense last year, and occasionally, when I’d read a positive review of it, I’d spray it once on my wrist. Each time I’d be taken aback by the syrupy sweetness in the opening phase. It didn’t seem like something I’d be able to tolerate. Recently I rediscovered this sample and decided to spray it a few times to get a more accurate impression of it, so I could put the Armani Si dilemma behind me once and for all. Lo and behold, it turns out that, once the fog of blackberry syrup dissipates a bit, Armani Si Intense hides in its middle notes a slightly aromatic and contrasting heart, reminiscent of an expensive body lotion or lipstick. Maybe it’s the original’s DNA, maybe it’s the davana, I wouldn’t be able to say, but it’s certainly fascinating and addictive, and it lifts this fragrance from the crowd of nondescript gourmands, into the sophisticated and quintessentially feminine category. One small caveat is that, in the dry down, a less than exciting and slightly synthetic sugared rose accord tends to dominate the whole composition, this is when it reminds me a bit of a Lancôme fragrance - one of the La Nuit Tresors, a line which I really don’t care for. All in all, I’d give it a 7.5/10.
Edit: sadly, the sickly sugary rose became all that I could smell in the dry down. I had high hopes for Armani Si, but it wasn’t meant to be.

VerySensitiveNose

When i wear it people ask me what is this relaxing scent? I like grape and blueberry note and the longevity but im more spicy woman for this type of light and soft ingredients.

Roos88dutch

To me it smells like the old Armani si before reformulation .love it .

parfum arthur

Never thought there could be a flanker that smelt better than the original but si intense proved my olfactory senses wrong!

This is like the original but the added resin gives this depth and a richness compared to ‘si’ which is airier in comparison. I like to spray 1 spritz of ‘Si’ in the daytime and in alternative spots, spray my everyday ‘skin but better’ fragrances. Planning to get si ‘intense’ for the cold nights.

The patchouli remains clean, the rose is sweet and jammy.

LadyPilot

While I loved the black Si Intense and I'm still crying over it, this one is not a disaster, although definitely not a replacement. The blackcurrant is not so dominant, the benzoin and davana steal the show - which is a shame for a blackcurrant enthusiast like me. It's a nice perfume, quite interesting, I might give it a chance but it's not as amazingly juicy as the black Si Intense. This new one is warm and thick - needs more patience to learn to love it.

rckrieger

This perfume is just okay. The top notes were meh, but the tonic and base notes were better. I found it odd as I normally love black current, but did not love it here. It is sweeter smelling than normal Si. I'd imagine it would work well at a summer dinner or a summer evening party. I like the rose is not too powdery. It smells feminine to me. This isn't for me, but depending on your body chemistry it might work for someone else.

carmenfortuna

This is just so yummy. Sweet and syrupy and still had somewhat of a sexy note to it. I was gifted this by a family member as they know I wear Si Fiori as my signature. This is deep and sultry and so so yummy. I don’t think it necessarily has to be a night time perfume, though it definitely can be one. Would wear this in cold weather though, the syrupy note might be a little too heavy for summertime or warm weather. Where Si is sweet and easy, this is her glamorous, fur coat, red lip alter ego

kris.danmark

This is warm and sexy, I have this and the original si, I love them both, but this one is slightly sweeter and deeper, the color of the bottle and juice and very accurate to the smell, amber warmness, the blackcurrant syrup adds a delicious sweetness to it

Artio

When I sampled this at sephora all I could smell was a beautiful blackcurrant scent, it was delicious. I bought a 30ml bottle and it doesn't smell good on my skin at all. All I get now is a mixture of patchouli and davana? I haven't smelt davana before but I'm getting a weird combination of patchouli and something else. Smells super dirty, I'm not getting anything sweet or fruity at all.

Chellywellie

Honestly, this is a mess. It starts off clean and dirty (I know, I’m disappointed in my description too) and then smells just dirty. I’ve never heard of Davana, but I’m pretty sure it hasn’t done this perfume any favours. I agree with the vintage vibes mentioned below. This is almost like fruity dusty body odour.

It lasts a long time too, which, annoyingly, most fragrances that I don’t like do.

It makes me think of a loud buxom woman in her 50s/60s with no personal space boundaries. The kind that swings her large heavy bag around while she’s walking down a shopping mall, not realising (or perhaps ignoring) that she’s hitting peoples legs and receiving dirty looks when they’ve passed her.

It’s not intolerable, it’s just… bad.

P.S. I’d been wearing this for a couple of hours when my husband walked in and asked if I’d been trumping. I hadn’t. Hahaha

hola gigi

Blind bought this because I knew the notes couldn't fail me. The kick of black currant gives it a grown & sexy vibe. The rose plays the background. Super sensual.

mellyv1973

Very woody & masculine leaning on my skin. Deep dry down is straight up patchouli. Good for lasting. I would probably appreciate this one more if it was a tad sweeter.

prizcandy

I received a sample in the mail today and after all the great reviews I wanted to like it but I really don't.
It's intense, will not deny that but it gave me the worst headache.
The opening is a fruit explosion and there's some vintage smell in the mix that I don't like. I like fruit and I like vintage but not in this combo.
I didn't get anything like vainilla but on the dry down it becomes more warm.
Performance is great, I had to wash my arm several times to get it off.
Would not recommend blind buying this one.

seliko

what a beauty! i am a lover of the intense version of most fragrances, this being no exception. the opening was very clean and floral to me, i was a little unsure of whether if i was going to like it or not. it smelled exactly the same as the original si. the words i like to use for it is “light floral, likable, clean” like a “shampoo” scent. in 30 minutes though, this beauty transformed. i couldn’t stop smelling my wrists. beautiful fruity floral on my skin.

this reminds me of the discontinued estée lauder modern muse le rouge, to my nose this type of scent is “sharp” and pleasant. love it.
one thing i am curious about though is that the estée lauder one only smelled good in summer, so i am wondering if this only smells this good in winter. it’s almost as if they are the winter and summer versions of the same fragrance, i wish modern muse le rouge still existed.

longevity is poor though, fragrance lasts the same time as the old zara perfumes, maybe around 5 hours max. i wish it performed better.

emma katherine

This keeps the dessert wine vibe from the original Sì but adds a syrupy note. Imagine Ribena but diluted with a dessert wine instead of water and that's what this is. It's darker than the original, definitely more for the nighttime, but is just as agreeable. Perfect fragrance if you're looking for something that'll get you compliments and isn't too standout-ish or offputting.

aliciacb828

After armani reformulated Sì its been a shadow of its former self, nice, mildly sweet, but overall underwhelming. This new intense is very similar to the reformulation but smells like Sì EDP's more glamorous expensive older sister. If Sì EDP is the everyday, Sì intense is the night.

It projects well and lasts 12 hours easily. I sprayed my scarf with it and can still smell it a week later. On skin it eventually turns into a skin scent but projects for quite a while beforehand.

I get amber perhaps from the benzoin, not much rose but it has a nice deep vanilla scent that lasts and lasts. The blackcurrant is well blended as is the patchouli. I have never smelt davana on its own, but if it smells fruity, then I detect it. The top notes are a little sharp but after an hour it settles down into a warm scent that lasts.

This perfume is a delight from start to finish and is easily the best Sì flanker made so far. The only other rival being Sì Rose Signature II just for the focus on roses instead of blackcurrant but its longevity is nothing like this one. I feel expensive when wearing this and therefore its not for all occasions in my opinion. But I love this one and will probably use/sell all other versions of Sì for it.

It is 10 times better than the 2014 black Sì Intense, that one was very medicinal and screechy and dried to plastic.

Maria19

My first Si scent. Bought it yesterday. This is a classy perfume, makes me feel like a million dollar bill. I can smell Blackcurrant Syrup and the Rose. I don't usually analyze too much perfumes. The scent either fits like a glove, or it doesn't. This does, I am glad I bought it.

virna.medina

This is a total blind buy! After watching several youtubers review on the Si range, I came across this. So I decided to blindly bought it based on the reviews and my personal experience of sniffing the OG couple of times at Sephora. I wanted a good lasting power and good silage as well. And.. I am not sorry at all. This perfume is really lovely, beautiful and boozy blackcurrant-rose. It's quite sweet but not cloying at all. I smell a hint of amber (and oud?) at the beginning but the oud seemed to disappear. This is a warm perfume that in my opinion can be worn whole year round. I live in Indonesia so nearly everyday is summer and this perfume seems to go well and not attacking my olfactory. This perfume makes me happy and want to sniff my wrist all the times. SO yeah... this is a successful blind buy!

DorothyOz

Awful. I had the previous version of this perfume- Si intense (the black one) and it was the very best perfume I've ever had. This is something else. I wish they would just leave the old Si and made this one as a new version.

Zipporah mama

I got this as a birthday present from my boyfriend. I’ll be very honest, I didn’t like this perfume at first sniff, the opening notes weren’t doing it for me at all, I couldn’t even smell the blackcurrant syrup. It just had a strong overpowering, uninteresting vibe to it. Then I sprayed it on my wrist and after some hours, the dry down was pleasant and I thought ‘hmm this smells very familiar’ then I remembered what it smells like, it smells exactly like l’ambre des merveilles by Hermès which is an amber scent. When I got home I sprayed both on different wrist and after a while they smelt exactly the same! The great thing about Si intense is it definitely has that silage that’s needed in a perfume like this which l’ambre lacks.
Third day having this bottle and I have to say, I don’t smell that uninteresting smell I got initially when I sprayed it. It’s a sweet scent and I do love it to be very honest. It’s a beautiful scent and a beautiful bottle.
It’s a very classy perfume, I’ll wear it to a wedding, dinner date or anywhere I feel fits this classy scent.

will.more

A must try. :)
This flanker is done so so well
Might be the best Si in my opinion
هذا اصدار جديد. جميل جدا ويستاهل التجربه

piahellgren

This. Just wow. Here we have a perfect deep red rose with the Armani Si black currant syrup sexed up by bitterness from Havana and erotic smoothness from benzoin. Patchouli is medium strong and beautiful. Masterpiece. Edit: I got ahead of myself. The opening is amazing, later it turns into a sweet amber-rose scent that is nice, but not a masterpiece. It also is kind of not lasting...

realitygreene

I have found that my skin does not do well with benzoin. It is usually harsh, metallic, screechy. No exception with this fragrance unfortunately. I definitely prefer the original Si.

sibaraa

I prefer this one over the original. This is more intense without the sweetness. very well blended. Im in ❤

Veronika95

I got a miniature of this, and it's absolutely amazing! Best Sì so far for me! I had the black one and I did not like it much. It was too sharp. I also had the original, 2014 formulation and I treasured it for a quite some time. But after I smelled this, I sold the original and ordered a big bottle of the new intense and I'm not looking back 😎 it actually is more intense, but so well blended that it's not sharp or too sweet. I love it !

Joshhiggins32

This is beautiful! I’ve not been much for the SI line and really GA perfumes in the past but this one is great! Very sexy and dark but you could wear it really anytime you’d like. The blend and composition is very unique and has a smell of its own IMO. I wouldn’t blind buy this for that reason but it’s gorgeous and performance is outstanding!

Scilmeara

I love this. I feel like a goddess when I wear it. I never got to try the black bottle Si Intense that everyone says is better, and it might be, but this is heavenly.

okamikiera

This is a gorgeous scent: sweet, feminine, woodsy and elegant. Extremely similar to the original Si, which is okay given it's a flanker, but if I had one I wouldn't feel any need to purchase the other. As expected it's a little boring and conventional, but just works and can be worn by almost anyone. Since I've been obsessed with blackcurrant lately, I love having this very refined and mature take on the note, and like most vanillas (or in this case, benzoin) this lasts and lasts.

Quiel

I don't like sweets, candy or cake. I never did. Not even as a child. I never want a birthday cake. We even canceled a wedding cake.

But I'm a sucker for pure maple syrup, honey or syrup as we put on our pancakes ("stroop" we call it in the Netherlands): beyond sweet. Candy floss on a carnaval. Like hardcore sweet. Not dilluted.... Just the real deal.

When it comes to perfumes, I don't like fruity scents at all.

But somehow I feel addicted to this beauty. I smelled Si Intense in a parfum store a few weeks ago. it literally watered my mouth. It brings back memories. I can't tell which ones but I feel comforted. I was drawn to it like an addict. It's exactly like @AppleSpice reviews it. Fruity and floral in the best way possible. It's really sophisticated. I feel sexy, confident and a bit unapproachable and warm & kind at the same time. I want to roll up in a blanket for the TV, wearing my cocktail dress and high heels: Ready for a romantic dinner in a beautiful historic European city.
It's not girly sweet. It's power woman sweet! The drydown is vanilla like on my skin with a light interesting cassis sour to it. It really evolves on my skin.

I went back to the store last weekend to get a sample. I sprayed it on my dress 4 days ago and today I wore the dress again for a few hours. I kept on asking my husband whether he smelled as well "candy floss" in our house.

I just realized it was my dress. And I decided: I need this parfum in my collection. There's not anything like this. I adore it!

LondonJean

I DO like the first blast of blackcurrant (which to me is a much more green blackcurrant leaf experience than a blackcurrant syrup one). But that is gone after 10 minutes, leaving behind a very generic rose-benzoin-patchouli blend that you have smelled a gazillion times. Not bad, pleasant, but super boring. Will not be purchasing.

adelaidesandrina

A much much fruitier, girly version of my burberry black

Edit: is it just me or does the opening smell a little like delina?

anngelica

The notes sound just brilliant for me, as I am a big fan of the rose-black currant combination.
All in all, this is a beautiful, sweetly succulent fruity-flowery nectar: feminine and long-lasting. The only problem is that it does not have a distinct nature. Non-offensive, sensual, conform: thus, this fragrance is perfectly for those who look for safe solutions and do not want to stand out. I would compare all those syrupy new creations and their numerous flankers growing like mushrooms to noses created by famous surgeons: they seem to be perfect, you know what to expect for your money, however, individuality is missing…

Love this fragrance! After having smelled this version, the original Si and Si intense in the black bottle, I loved this one out of all. It’s fruity and floral in the best way possible. It starts off with a strong yet not overpowering black currant smell and then settles in to become quite rosy. And the benzoin at the end makes it smell like a delicious vanilla. It’s like smelling like berries and whipped cream, but in a subtle, sensual, sophisticated way. Gorgeous unique scent and the bottle is beautifully designed as well!

petalsandpotion

Got a sample of this with my Si Fiori order, what I expected? A deep, Ambery vanillic and thick berries fragrance. What I'm actually getting? Grape juice. White grape juice to be exact. You know that super tart juice that makes you shmack your tongue. That is what I get. It's all I get honestly. Am I broken? LOL

Olotitan

Armani Si Intense 2021 is alright same DNA of original Si
Armani Si intense 2021 is not a amber floral there's no amber in this one at all, this one is a Chypre woody!

The Davana in this Intense was a bit disappointing for me I would've preferred Bergamot or Osmanthus instead of the dry fougere Davana.

I personally love Julie Masse creations especially her
Si Le Parfum but for those
comparing the Si Le Parfum to this one I feel no comparison maybe that they're both boozy and the black currant makes it silky syrupy but other than that Si Le Parfum for me is exquisite refined an absolute love very different on me, everyone's chemistry is different and this one is also missing the vanilla the Incense and amber.

After getting a sample of Si Intense ...I really wish I gotten it first... it's a beautiful very sexy fragrance! On my skin its floral, woody and a sexy sweet musk and lasts all day. But I brought Si Passione because it opens so fruity. And although its fruitier it still shares the some of the DNA of Si intense as well thank goodness .
I remember as a child my Mother and Aunts smelling beautiful like Si intense ...like gorgeous grown women! Will be buying a bottle soon!

Ulusia

Reminds me of original Si but with more prominent blackcurrant. On my skin it smelled like spongecake with blackcurrant. Good for lasting.

Sheflynolie

I received a sample with my My way refill order. It’s ok not for me. I smell vanilla which is what I like but not for me.

Fiury22

Smells exactly like Si original , dont understand why make 2 perfumes that smells exactly the same and just call it intense and increase the price when it also have same lasting power, lesson learned never blind buy

grapefruit352

It is more concentrated original "Si". Could be named also " Si Elixir". If you like original versions of "Si" - this one, you might like even more..

MissChanel85

One ingredient missing on this site is the vanilla absolute. This perfume is so gorgeous. Deep, rich, intoxicating - dry and alluring. Perfect for the cold and those hot, summer nights!

I have a strong love of the Armani Si line. I own five of the flankers, and a travel size of the original Armani Si, which is where my obsession began.

It was not a love at first sniff for me. Based on reviews, I was expecting a deep sweet vanilla, more simular to Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum. But what I got on the card, was a light beer scent. It was shocking, as none of the reviews had mentioned it. I didn't dislike it, but I didn't think I would grow to love it.

But the scent haunted me. I kept going back to the card like an alcoholic, and finally got around to trying it on my skin.

On my skin, the beer scent is seamlessly intermingled with the cassis and vanilla, so it doesn't shout BEER. It's more of a sexy hint of beer, but still classy and expensive smelling. I received so many compliments and inquiries when I wore this, and just fell in love with the scent aura that surrounded me. Since then, I have fallen in love with many of the flankers, but this new Armani Si Intense, is at the top of them all.

I own the black bottle Si Intense, and to me that one was very close to the original, but stronger and longer lasting. Basically everything you hope for when you purchase an intense version of a perfume you like.

However, this new 2021 Intense version is MORE. It is darker, stronger, sexier, and MORE delicious. They never need to make another flanker, and they can discontinue all of the other flankers, as long as I can have this 2021 Armani Si Intense.

At first spray I get the deep black currant, patchouli, and a dark beer scent. That deep black currant smell is addictive, and it lasts for a long while. Black currant is one of my favorite fragrance notes, and in this perfume it is everything. I get a hint of rose, but eventually this settles into a beerlicious deep black currant sexy vanilla. A very classy sexy. Makes me feel...dangerous. Like a James Bond villain. Projection and lasting are amazing. This perfume is heavy fragrance bliss.

A must have.

So I have a full size 100mL bottle of this 100% full with box. I’ve worn once. I can send pictures for proof bought straight off Goirgio Armani’s website.. Is anyone willing to trade perfumes or buy this off of me? I do love this and it LASTSSS all day but I am looking for something less Amber-y

Lovely perfume.
Si Intense 2021 was deprived of green accents, and wood notes were strengthened instead. They stand out from the very beginning and last to the end, lifting the composition. Rose less noticeable. Benzoin is sweet, with caramel undertones, warm and enveloping. Currant combines with a hint of benzoin and woody notes to create the perfect trio. This version is heavier than the classic, so I recommend testing it before buying it.

Emera1d

Very close to the original, just stronger and more mouth-wateringly juicy and fruity. The dry down is pretty much identical to the original just longer lasting.

It smells mature & syrupy for sure. Almost like medicinal syrup like those childrens cough syrup but but not bad at all - I just don’t have a better way to explain it. When it dries down I get a grown, sweet, almost vanilla smell. I love the dry down way better. Something about it reminds me of Versace Eros but to a more experienced nose & fragrance enthusiast, they would probably look at me funny.

I rate this a 7.5/10. Not bad once it dries down I just have to get past the initial scent. I find this more for a mature woman, expensive date night feel.

I just got this today and need to do another review - the old one was from when I tested it in the store last week.

I’m still very much in love with this fragrance, I don’t think it’s ever going to leave my top 5! Wearing it at home, after I received it, I can add to my last review and say that I also feel it boozy in the beginning, like I’ve sprayed a sweet alcoholic beverage on me, but in a great way! I also smell in this - and please don’t throw rocks at me, maybe it’s just my skin chemistry - myrrh, like that church aromatic myrrh. Probably because of the benzoin. And I am absolutely in love, it goes so well with that boozy black currant syrup! It’s cozy and nice. The wood grounds the combination and keeps it from being too much.

I recommend testing this one first, I think it’s going to be a polarizing fragrance.

Scandipersian

Wow, this reminds me so very much of one or several perfumes from the 1980:s!
And a smell I associate with busy markets in Middle East, those with dried fruit, syrups etc.
It must be the Turkish rose plus strong raisiny benzoin along with Davana?!
It will be a huge hit or miss with the oriental markets. This to me is to far from Armani’s Italian Milanese roots. Maybe more of an old Venezian merchandiser instead. 🥀

Aikipy

A jammy, ambery fragrance, absolutely stunning! I see there’s no amber in the notes, so it might be the benzoin that’s giving it that amber scent. On my skin, the blackberry jam is so prominent, I love it! It’s a gorgeous fragrance, appropriate for all seasons and events.

Solar Girl

This is the best Si flanker so far. It smells like old Si edp (the one I fell in love with when it was first released and before restrictions and reformulations) plus even more kick and with some juicy blackcurrant jam added. The fruit part is in the opening and shortly after everything settles and blends into, simply, intense version of OG. For my taste much nicer than the first Intense in black bottle.

I own the original Sí, Fiori, Passione, and recently blind-bought (I only read notes and reviews from here) Sí Intense. Of them all, Fiori is my favorite, but after opening and spraying Intense yesterday, it is a close second behind Fiori, if not right there alongside it. I can’t distinguish less prominent notes in perfume, but as someone who dislikes the sharpness of the original, Intense is juicier, sweeter, and much less screechy to my nose (and thus, easier to wear). I can make out the blackcurrant syrup, davana, and patchouli; the latter two creep in after the explosive blackcurrant opening recedes. This flanker lives up to the Intense moniker. To me, it is deep, dark, and sensual. Fiori is the good girl daytime fragrance; Intense is her naughty nighttime alter ego.

millylou007

I really love this. very versatile for all seasons and many occasions. must point out that the longevity of this on me is absolutely amazing. Prefer this to the original si and the other editions.

aldinatic

I m glad that the cassis is not in this one :)

turkishgirl

very similar to the original si and miss dior absolutely blooming by dior but the dry down in si intense is very vanilla-rose on my skin. i love it :)

Miruna

I have just tested it and it reminds me of the original Si, but thicker, more syrupy, with some added greeness and patchouly.

mimi_1996

After being heartbroken by the reformulation of the original Si, I had to try this to compare. To me, this is very very similar to the original formulation to Si, except less vanilla and a touch more fruity. In my opinion it’s more linear than Si EDP, and kind of resembles the top notes throughout.

Longevity and sillage are great. I would personally purchase this over the new reformulated version of the original Si

KBreckenridge

First impression: this seems like a cross between Chloe Nomade and the original Si. The davana is very apparent. It's also soft and quite powdery. Sits close to the skin. Not a whole lot of patchouli, just davana, powder and vanilla. In fact, this may be too powdery for me. My favorite Si is the Intense in the black bottle because it smells like red wine and roses. This is nowhere near close to that.

Lust87

I think it's safe to say this is my favourite version of Si, quite a significant improvement on the original. As soon as I saw davana listed as on of the notes I had to buy it - I tend to love everything that contains davana. Although this note is not the most prominent one in the composition, I'm still glad I blind bought it.

Si Intense 2021 is sweet, balsamic, dense, like a more concentrated version of the OG. It's rich, it's strong and it lasts forever, this is one of those rare fragrances I don't have to reapply during the day to get a good whiff of. The benzoin makes it very opulent and warm and also adds a lot of character. The patchouli adds a hint of effortless elegance, the rose is sweet, deep red, in full bloom and the blackcurrant syrup gives that playful, sunny, optimistic twist.

This is still a sweet fragrance, can be overpowering and overwhelming, but if applied carefully it unveils a beautiful, interesting yet easy to wear scent perfectly suitable for any occasion. The bottle looks beautiful, too. Probably not a safe blind buy (even though that's just what I did) but definitely worth a test.

imimsd12

Smelled this today and its really nice ..smells better than the first one imo ...way sexier and prettier than the first.. I'm definitely thinking about buying this one..this is very nice they did good on this one..

Well let's see ... This review requires few words ...

Basically this perfume smells exactly like my memory of Si. Right now, unfortunately, I don't have it with me to compare side by side, but it's the same for me, maybe just a little more intense, with a little more projection.

In me it has a moderate sillage and lasts for 6-7 hours.

Si Intense is a perfume that I quite like, I find it pleasant, easy to wear, versatile. But if you already own Si I do not see it as an interesting addition to your collection, perhaps just as an option to replace it in the future or to bring it back to your closet. In any case, it would be necessary to compare them in a more exhaustive way but, if you are looking for a fragrance with the DNA of Si but more intense and with a certain twist that would make it different and you have even thought about buying it blindly, I can tell you that, from my point of view, this new Si Intense does not meet that target.

Smell 7.5 / 10
Duration 8/10
Sillage 9/10
Quality / price 7/10
Versatility 7.5 / 10
Packaging 9/10
Would I buy again? I didn't buy it

I'm definitely going to enjoy Armani Si Intense by perfumer
Julie Masse who also signed the discontinued
Si Le parfum which I absolutely love, this intense version feels like the Sí Le Parfum what a beautiful luxurious perfume with blackcurrant, Incense, osmanthus jasmine amber and Patchouli but this new intense has turkish rose instead the jasmine absolute in Si Le parfum so I'm looking forward to the Intense version with no amber let's see!

I'm just wondering why they named it Intense as they already had an Intense in their line maybe Sensuelle or Sensual would've drawn attention lol.

Hope it comes with body creme.

I<3Perfume

I thought an Intense (black bottle) already existed.
