Pleats Please L'Eau by Issey Miyake is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. Pleats Please L'Eau was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Aurelien Guichard. Top note is Wild Rose; middle notes are Neroli, Bulgarian Rose and Pink Pepper; base notes are White Musk, Cedar and Patchouli.

In December 2013 Issey Miyake adds another fragrance to the collection Pleats Please – the fresher and feminine Pleats Please L'Eau in a flacon with the same geometric shape as prevoious editions, with pale green fluid inside.

Transparent glass cut the shades of green fluid announcing freshness exuded by this composition inspired by spring that allures smiles and feeling of happiness and dash. Pleats Please L'Eau is signed by perfumer Aurelien Guichard, created of the first fragrance of the Pleats Please collection, who built the new composition on the concept of "weightless freshness". The perfume abounds in airy nuances, luminous fresh accords and gentle spicy threads.

Pleats Please L'Eau opens with wild rose aromas providing playful freshness and femininity. Focus of the initial floral notes is on the young green buds of wild roses that have not started blooming yet and allude youth and energetic awakening of spring. The heart introduces feminine Bulgarian rose combined with pink pepper and neroli blossom, accompanied by sensual accords of white musk, patchouli and cedar in a base, creating a fine fragrant mist similar to aquarelle. Perfume Pleats Please L'Eau is available as 30, 50 and 100ml Eau de Toilette in the flacon of Pleats Please form inspired by the eponymous collection of pleated materials of the brand Issey Miyake.

The rose is definitely the star here and it's blended smoothly with the other florals and musk. These come out most on my skin. It's greener on the card versus skin. The rose on my skin is shockingly photorealistic (something I rarely say). It's floral and creamy while still being fresh and having a green quality. I don't pick up cedar much and the patchouli is minimal (these might come out as the scent progresses).

I love that it isn't overwhelming. I think it will be an easy reach until I finish the bottle. I read a review that considered this fragrance as "reflective" and while it sounds unusual, I have to agree. There is something reflective about this fragrance.

I prefer it on the card but it doesn't last long at all on the card where it projects and lasts well on skin though about an hour into wear it does become a bit soapy on skin and clothes. If it didn't become soapy, I would be more excited for this fragrance.

Overall, if you like rose and are looking for something that is a creamy, floral, fresh, scent (that can veer soapy)- this might be a good fit. You can also pick it up for a great value but I would suggest sampling first.

Pleats Please L'Eau is my favourite green scent. On me, the rose is subtle, and the fresh greens and white florals predominate. I'm unable to wear many green and white floral scents. They go on too sharp and remain that way, even after drydown. But Pleats Please L'Eau stays fresh and gentle. My skin does best with spicy, warm scents, so I'm glad I have found a fresh one that works for me.

I smelt this in Superdrug, and immediately purchased it, despite paying double what’s it’s going for online. I couldn’t resist.
So bright; fresh florals consume this fragrance.. the epitome of everything late spring-early summer is.
It’s feminine, perfectly sweet, and youthful
Inoffensive, perfect every day fragrance

This would be my signature scent if it lasted longer than a couple of hours. It’s also mild and difficult to smell unless someone gets very close.

Augustarina

The best thing about this fragrance is that I didn't spend much on it. $21.99 at Shopper's Drug Mart.

As a rose lover, I am disappointed that the only things I can smell are white floral and pink pepper. I find it's a very linear scent and although a little boring and generic, it's inoffensive. However, it will be in my giveaway bag the next time I declutter.

Love the rose in this one, it's super clean and easy to wear. Whenever I'm feeling indecisive, this one is so easy to just throw on. It projects decently well, and last decently long too, and it's an absolute steal if you can find it at Shopper's Drug Mart for CA$21.99 like I did.

Zoia Collison

Love this one, I am on the 2nd bottle right now. Smells magical to me and a little bit to unisex side. One of my the most favorites!

This one was a gift from a friend as I said I was interested in pleats please EDP and I think they thought this might similar. I still didn't try the original EDP so I've no idea how it compares.

I don't know about what's listed, but to me this smells like sweet pea stems with the flowers in the background, it's sweet but green and it's not entirely natural 😉. It's got a heavy dose of laundry musk and ambroxan, but thankfully it's not got that grainy texture, it's actually pretty smooth.

I wear this to work and around the house, it's one that lasts a while on skin but weirdly fades quite quickly on clothes. It's a fresh clean inexpensive spring scent really. If you want to smell like you just showered, this is a good one. I wouldn't purchase another bottle but I've finished this one.

Sammbac

An anagram of petals please or preferably no more petals please because this one is just overpoweringly floral and green and linear. Summery yes, long lasting, annoyingly so. I did not enjoy this.Becomes a little bit cleaning productesque after a while on the skin. The bottle is sort of a cool multifaceted concept but unpleasant to handle, the cap looks weird on it and the overall effect is a bit naff. Dislike.

Pleats Please L'eau opens with a promising fresh, clean, and green rose note. However, it unfortunately veers too far into astringency, throwing off the delicate balance. The Neroli adds its usual bitterness without the charming citrus facets that could have made it beautiful. As a result, the fragrance develops into something reminiscent of cheap hairspray on the skin, leaving me disappointed, especially considering my hopes for an improved drydown. Unfortunately, the scent remains linear, lacking the anticipated soft, fluffy musk or clean woodsy base, maintaining the same astringent floral character throughout the wear.

Clearly intended as a warm weather fragrance, Pleats Please L'eau does possess elements that could complement the heat, but the overall result falls short in terms of pleasantness. Issey Miyake has other warm weather, fresh fragrances, such as L'Eau d'Issey and A Scent by Issey Miyake, which outshine this one. Both of those fragrances have a more unisex appeal, while Pleats Please L'eau leans much more towards a feminine scent.

In terms of performance, Pleats Please L'eau fares decently for a fresher scent. It manages to last around 4-6 hours on my skin with a light to moderate projection for most of the wear. However, it eventually becomes very soft and close to the skin during the last hour of wear.

Regrettably, the overall packaging of Pleats Please L'eau leaves much to be desired. While the abstract geometric shape of the bottle and the pretty green juice are appealing, the rest of the design clashes and distracts from its potential. The pink writing, in particular, feels unpleasantly mismatched. The cap's contrasting shape, though perhaps intended for uniqueness, fails to achieve its purpose and gives off a cheap impression. On the upside, the bottle features a pretty good atomizer.

For those on a budget, Pleats Please L'eau can be found at reasonable prices, especially for Canadians. The 50ml bottle is often available on the $20 discount shelf at Shopper's. Additionally, Fragrancenet still offers samples for sale if you wish to try it for yourself. However, with other superior options available within the Issey Miyake line, it may be wise to explore those first before committing to Pleats Please L'eau.

missoneminute

I picked this up for $30 as a blind buy. I didn’t love the original Pleats Please, a little spicy in an off kilter way to me. But the notes here fascinated me as there’s no accords that please me more easily than rose and neroli. This is a neroli bomb to my nose - I can smell little else until the dry down, where an airy, almost cheap sort of rose emerges. There’s something about the interplay of rose and musk here that has an air freshener quality. That said, I really like this. The neroli is juicy and tasty, sort of like sucking on an orange blossom hard candy. It’s very clean in the dry down, almost soapy, another quality I enjoy. It’s not a groundbreaker but it does have that particular richness perfumes of the 2010s often did. If you can find it for a song it’s worth a try.

Yes Malena

I liked the interplay of the rose and neroli. I loved the subtle musky dry-down. So gentle, a bit distant. Even though it's not a love for me, it really surprised me with the impressions it brought on: a bookish complexity developing along the way; and a dignified, thoughtful expression. Reflective, I guess I would call it. And that was my first wearing, in cold, cold winter weather.

ARainyDayInMay

The scent itself was beautiful, but the annoying part for me was the fact that in 30 minutes to an hour it was gone from both skin and fabric.
I might have had an older bottle, but when i found it available for testing in a store, it was gone from the tester strip in about 20 minutes...
I will be looking for a bottle of the EDP, maybe I have better chances with that one.

GloriaGisela

This smelling just exactly like viva la juicy ROSE. I have both but I'll be buying PP, it's way cheaper!!!!

natalia6032

This is a very beautiful, fresh rose, a very realistic floral, like smelling fresh flowers in a wet garden- I'm usually not a fan of rose in perfumes, I find it old fashioned and too much (even though I know it's been everywhere in the last few years), but here it is just perfect, beautifully blended with the neroli and musk. It's a great alternative to citrus scents in summer, and lovely for day to day wear all year round. I don't detect any patchouli at all.

TaniaClamp

Pleats Please is a really really nice fresh easy going scent. It's classic Issey Miyake mixed with lotus leaf, simple fresh and light. Soooo beautiful.

This is a true love for me!

LaUna

Since I am a Rose Lover, and this was on a deal rack, definitely had to blind buy it, after reding some of the reviews offcourse. I was intrigued by Rose bud scent described here. Clean green rose. Pleasant, flowery, dewy at first; I also do get the sweet pea impression here. Second part is all about neroli note; it becomes more brash and smells clean. Soft floral hangs in the background. I really like initial and first hour of wear. Clean part is too flat for my taste. Wish it had more of rosey and floral notes for the duration. Wears 4-5 hours, it's comfortable enough, can be worn anywhere. Great choice for hot summer days.

hausofdarlingperfumier

Pure. Fresh. Clean Laundry. Light florals. Green.
I am outside hanging my laundry out on the line. There is a light breeze and I can smell the fresh green aura of spring all around. My nose gets green tender wild roses delicately enhanced by the brightness of neroli. I adore how the pink pepper breaks up the two rose notes and as the sensuous Bulgarian rose is more developed and has a spiciness of its own. Finally my laundry is dry and the white musk leaves a delicious skin scent with slightly more spiciness from the cedar and grounded by the green patchouli. This is a fresh, light and easy day.

jesz

Angel Trumpet Flowers. Green leaves. Powdery soap. Mushrooms and woods.
But on the skin? Add in lush berries and tropical sweet notes, and it's fairyland in a bottle.

MrsMRe

Fresh, green, clean floral with a nice mild wood at the base. The manufacturer's description of a green rosebud that has not opened seems quite accurate. It's got a slightly shampoo-y feel like Issey Miyake's A Scent in the first half hour or so. There's something about it that reminds me of Chanel Cristalle. Pleats is softer, warmer, and more floral, but there's definitely a similarity. I was surprised by the strength and lasting power for something called l'eau.

thotumnheaux

Got this from the $19 rack at Shoppers Drug Mart because I heard it was a dupe for Ouai’s Melrose Place. I didn’t have high hopes, but for $19, what do I have to lose?

This is far greener and fresher than Melrose Place, which makes it more of a summer scent than a spring scent. I’ve been gravitating towards this every day now that it’s above 25 degrees out. Super fresh and clean without being too astringent or aquatic. When I want it to lean more floral, I add a spritz of the Gisou hair perfume and it’s perfect :)

Will be wearing with my knockoff Pleats Please skirts from Ali Express all summer long.

Nichulett

Ok, I received this as a gift and my first impression was not good. I can be iffy when it comes to rose scents at time because it reminded me of bathroom spray. However. After using it for a while I adjusted and now enjoy it. It's not something I would purchase but I will enjoy it while I have it.

Lulu Mermaid

A fresh green rose. Pretty, but there's something in there I don't like and I'm not sure what it is. Maybe the cedar or the patchouli? Sadly I am returning my bottle. (Also would be disappointed with the longevity of this if I liked it more.) If I am wanting a fresh rose scent I'm more likely to go for a classic like Chloe which doesn't have that mystery note that I find unpleasant.

I am just so excited that i am doing this review even before my bottle arrived. 😂 I am going to have a Indian wedding and have been hunting for a special but economical wedding day frag for almost a year. It should suit my wedding theme as well as the hot weather in my country. Came across this scent on fragX and thought why not give it a try. Plus since I am going to drape a saree on that day, the name Pleats Please just reminded me of my saree pleats. Looking at the review here, it may be a winner for me. Still waiting for my frag to arrive, will update soon. 😊

EDIT + UPDATE:
I have tried it for a couple of days. The scent isn't strong with monster sillage but it is a very calming fresh scent, perfectly suited for a humid day or evening. I get a good amount of florals and it is quite long lasting on skin and clothes. I also feel there's some aquatic notes here and to some extend this reminds me of CK Eternity Moment. Definitely office safe and i think it wouldn't irritates anyone especially since the scent sits close to skin. But it is also an easily forgetable scent as it doesn't bring anything special in it that makes me crave it. With that being said, this isn't a bad fragrance and could still be appealing to many ladies out there. I guess my hunt for a economical wedding fragrance would be still on-going then. 😁

AleharJ

A lovely green floral... Airy, not too dense, but with good performance. First I was kind of doubting my need for another "rose scent", as I already have so many different ones... But from the reviews this sounded more like a crisp light green botanical experience. Rose is there, but it's just like one of the flowers in the garden on a spring morning. Actually reminds me quite a lot of both the classic Coriandre and the modern Florabotanica.

Eternity Girl

Im so pleased to have this. Based on the reviews here I confidently blind bought 2 big bottles (the last time I did that it was a complete fail though).
I love it !! The reviews are accurate. First blast is a lovely sweetly grassy, green apple vibe. Then a pretty rosey, musky woods comes through.
It truly is a 'green' expression of sweet, spicey, airy rose buds. I can imagine they are pink rose buds. A beautiful scent bubble envelopes for a couple of hours (10 sprays on skin and clothes).
The bottle design is glorious. Its heavy and is a real tactile experience to hold and look upon. I interpret the white top to represent a closed poppy flower. The whole thing is a work of art. The mission statement by the designer/perfumers to execute 'weightless freshness' is a success.
Its an absolute love for me.

MimesOtto

Beautiful fresh floral a bit greenish scent..really nice with good lasting power for an EDT...it is perfect for spring and summer seasons and during warmer days in the fall. It is truly refreshing and it is a definite re-purchase for me!

Dulcette91

My first Issey Miyake and I’m very impressed. Pretty green floral with a sparkling neroli pink pepper middle and a musky patchouli drydown. I also get some citrus, it’s a sweet light floral with a lot of freshness. I go through it like water it’s so pleasant and light but still long lasting, I just don’t want to stop spraying. I love the gentle sweet freshness of the rose in this. Green notes are also very inoffensive (I usually don’t like them).

Bouquet Bleu

Green grassy, fresh, opens almost aquatic. I don't get much the rose. It has a grassy vibe for me. It is very refreshing and soothing. Chloe kind of softness but grassy, a bit apple-like greenery (granny smith). Just in Guichard's line of subtleness, like walking in a garden. In the narciso l'eau vibe but less floral-powdery and less patchouli. A less rosy Dior's blooming bouquet edt. You will like it if to you enjoy E Arden green teas, but this one is definitely more refined. I don't get the muguet/lily of the valley in here as other comments. Muguet is very different and particular while here you have a fairy concotion on a morning garden touched by dew. Definitely spring in a bottle (modern and beautiful bu the way).

Edit: dries down much drier, becomes very neroli-woody. A very polite (but not preppy!) scent. Quite unisex.

Edit2: This little gem has many layers to it. Apparently green and fresh, some days after using it I find a new resemblance: Miss Dior. But not the Blooming Bouquet as in the opening, rather the EDP of 2012 but in a dryer, greener way, without its sweetness. It must me the rose+pink pepper+pachouli combo. What a beautiful surprise! Similar vibe but less cloying, a nice morning scent.

Edit3: As the weather gets warmer and dryer pink pepper and cedar get more noticeable and the scent loses its dewy semi aquatic quality.

Madame deClermont

This is an underrated scent, I think. It is a delicious green rose - sparkling and fresh. As soon as I put it on I felt delightful. I am getting a muguet-type vibe from the neroli-rose mix. Fits in well with Diorissimo I think (I can never spell that(.

joliecat

Pleats Please L'Eau is sweet, green, cooling, fresh and long lasting. The pink pepper note is fleeting but refreshing. The white musk is very light, airy, fresh, not dusty at all. The roses smell naturally sweet and strong. Neroli adds a bitter green note to balance the natural floral sweetness . Patchouli is light , delicate and minty. Cedar is light, too, keeping the blend fresh and long lasting. With moderate projection, this perfume lasts easily 7 hours before settling down close to skin. Clean, sweet, ultra feminine, Pleats Please L''Eau is perfect for Spring and Summer days. Highly recommended if you like sweet flowers with fresh greenery.

tashwakefield

Oh how I love this fragrance! It's classic Issey Miyake with a sweet and opening twist! It's like a lotus leaf unveiling itself amidst a pool of Issey Miyake's original fragrance and it is a wonder to behold. There is so much to love in this complex, crisp and ephemeral joy. By ephemeral I do not mean that the longevity is fleeting, it is anything but, what I mean is that this scent is divine, profound, timeless. Just one spray and you are in a whole other world. A nashi pear upon a blossom covered vine beside a still magnetic pool in a fantastical Japanese film, that's Pleats Please L'Eau. Let yourself be taken away.

TackyAki

This was a blind purchase for $20 at the drugstore.. Because of Coronavirus they don't want people opening packages to test. At any rate, I've never seen this one offered before so I took a gamble! First off, great package colours and bottle! It feels great in the hand and looks pretty cool. The sprayer gives a nice healthy pouf and felt quite luxe. I have to say that is one of the best feeling sprays I've felt yet.. As for smell, I hated the first few minutes. Ugh, what did I buy... but then I realised this is a simple fresh and light smell that is actually quite beautiful after it settles down. I usually dislike these types of rosey scents but I'm glad to have something lighter like this in my collection. I usually tend towards more deep evening/winter smells. 6h later its still lingering, but not in a "typical vanilla" way. I like it! Curious to see how it smells in warmer weather.

Mariyou

Yes. Totally fresh! Green! Fun! Last long, it's like a fun friend too be around.

socorrosouza

The lily of the valley are the rose notes. This is an exquisite perfume, light but long lasting, an uplifting scent that embodies happiness and spring. Projection is soft but can be felt by people close to you, this is the best of the Pleats Please line by far, lasts longer than the EdT (6/7 hours vs 5 hours) and even the EdP.

Chrysolaga

I love this fragrance. I don't detect any rose at all, but the description points out that green buds are used, before they open. I do detect a lily-of-the-valley note even though it is not listed as a note. Perhaps that is the Neroli. It is fresh and feminine, sweet but not powdery. I think it projects elegance. I would be happy to wear this out to dinner.

demhayerawsah

Definitely a summer fragrance that you spritz on generously to refresh and cool down.
It's clean, green and has flowers. Although simple enough, I would NOT describe this perfume as generic.
I happened upon it by chance about 4 years ago when it was being sold at an airport for very little. I am now on my second bottle because it's the kind of fragrance I keep in my bag on summer days spent running errands, going to the beach or simply having a picnic.

Not super long-lasting, you will have to re-apply during the day.

Note: I am generally not an Issey Miyaki fan - this is the only fragrance I own from this house.

malindajoquinn

Truly all I get is slightly musky citrus. Very nondescript.

jansiri

really good summer scent. I love how light and fresh this one is. Smells like walking through a flower garden on a summers day. It has that "warm" smell.

blachedalmond

This morning I realized as the temperature rises to unbelievable degrees I tend to lean towards pleats please l'eau a lot more.

It's a fresh woody white floral with traces of pink pepper in it. As some of other people have said I get a powerful green Lilly of the Valley (even though it's not listed) along with neroli from start almost to the end. The occasional leafy fresh rose buds don't add a heavy and sweet rose scent to the mixture but rather makes things interesting if noticed. I like how the pink pepper lingers on throughout the duration and saves this from becoming another standard white floral. The musky cedar finish is my type of dry down calming while still giving that fresh feel.

I work in an emergency department and this is definitely something that helps me start a busy summer shift with ease but you'll need to reapply at least every 6-7 hours

socorrosouza

Light, airy but persistent and crystaline this is one summery perfume that makes you happier (and smelling great) for more than 5 hours (more like 6/7 hours). This does remind me of Roses de Chloe with its green rose.Pleats Please are 3 different perfumes which explores flowers: violets in the EdP, sweetpea (with strong orange flower) in the EdT and rose (again with orange flower, though on my skin it is not very strong) in L'Eau. I prefer L'Eau, the quality is very very good and the price is inexpensive in Brazil.

socorrosouza

Beautiful, uplifting perfume that lasts over 6 hours on me with moderate sillage. It is so well balanced, well rounded, smells like a spring garden, flowery, green, crystaline, cool, sweet but flowery sweet (not cloying sugary sweet), I love it on my skin, better than the EdT. Main notes on my skin are musk and roses but airy white roses with a sprinkling of a very green orange flower. My thanks to Aurelien Guichard for this beauty.

dglightblue

Wonderful warm and fresh, subtle and yum
It's not a harsh cool frag, sad a pbout the longecpvity though...
Will try again on its own, it may be fighting against the other scents I've fptried today

blacklotus

A beautiful light fresh sweet garden fresh woody herby floral. Lovely roses, young and sweet yet green, and rich sweet herby earthy patchouli and wood. Very sophisticated and elegant. Gorgeous.

SzekelyEmoke

Wohoooww heavy lilly of the valley all the way! Is not even in the note pyramid, but that's what I felt straights when I sprayed it on. However later it tones down to something similar in sweetness, I'd say freesia with neroli. Not bad but too strange and sweet to even match that green color of the perfume. I was expecting something lightweight and fresh.

Nikkafragrance

Absolutely beautiful! Gentle and perfect for a spring day. Another rose and white floral perfume that makes me feel pretty. My romantic soul loves it!

Winter Sweet

A nice fresh and light neroli scent. No rose to my nose.
Even Aurelien Guichard does not talk about rose in his interview about it!

Eicher

On my skin it's all about neroli. And only neroli. Rose? Not a hint of it. Strangely enough, my chemistry develops a strong lilly-of-the-valley smell. Very weird on me. Not bad but it has nothing to do with regards to the pyramid. It was a blind buy based on the notes. Must have tried first.

Mooniq

A very fresh scent in a sparkling mix of Rose, pinkpepper, Neroli, Patchouli & musk. Perfect for office or every-day-use. Timeless - both teenagers and women can wear this beautiful, flirty and fresh scent.

FabulouslyLazy

A triumph of rose and neroli on a bed of musk — the rose is soooo smooth! Pleats Please is a scent for modern romantics, reckless day-dreamers and blind optimists. This is an injection of joie de vivre and that's exactly what I need right now.
•-•-•-•-•
UPDATE: this is an EDT with the strength of an EDP! Sillage medium and longevity around 12 hours. Advice: do not overspray!

tumpabanerjee

I just received a 30 ml bottle. I must say its very much floral n beautiful, as time goes by it gets even better. Yes neroli lovers wud love this. I thought it has green notes also. Bt not really. Anyway longevity n silliage both r gud. I love the bottle also

Kaamos

I love what the cedar note does for this composition. Personally, it's what sold it to me. Lasting power is surprisingly decent for something bearing the name "L'Eau". Really enjoying it so far, lovely everyday scent.

lulu169

I have got both the red one and the violet one and love them equally..but strangely this doesn't work for me at all, I even have to puke when trying this

SoheePark

The BEST Pleats Please out there.

Bouquet

Really soft, feminine delicate, clean and fresh, but short longevity.
Wouldn't pay full price, but liked it enough to buy at a deep discount. Smells like young white roses on green stems arranged in a cut crystal vase on a glass table in the early summer sunshine. Effortlessly chic-- think white silk dress, coral necklace, sun hat, sunglasses, light tan colored sandals.

Wonder how the elixir of this compares?

Suzi

I have recently smelt this and I think it is lovely I adore his florale in the pink bottle smells like roses and this one is equally lovely to my senses. I like a light airy floral smell and this fits the bill perfectly it's just really gorgeous and what a bottle!!!!!! perfect for my bottle collection would definitely give it the thumbs up I give it a 9 out of 10 love it

Perfumejunkie7

This is a very fresh, very beautiful and very feminine scent perfect for spring and summer. I'm not really into fresh, clean scents but this is one of the few I actually liked very much. My friend and sister loved it. I don't get the negativity here. This perfume is the perfect fresh scent for warm weather and I have gone through a lot of those. Definitely on my want list.

ScarlettX

It is fresher and much better than the other perfumes from the Pleats Please collection, but still, quite strong floral and nose pinching.
I think neroli note in perfumes is just not my thing.
It's spicy, there's lots of pink pepper in it. I love it in perfumes, but in this one I really can't enjoy this neroli - pink pepper mix.
Very storng and sharp, probably long lasting too.

dezaval

Nice and easy-to-wear everyday fragrance. It's clean and somehow soapy, great for work during spring, luminous and happy.

genny17

I like Aurelien Guichard' s creations very much. Always well balanced and interesting fragrances. Pleats l' Eau is a fresh floral, in a green sweetish way, nice! I love Elixir, and there is a bit of Elixir brightness in Eau , it isn't a boring fresh/green/aquatic scent at all..it is a well balanced pretty spring scent, a mix of Rose and neroli, on a bed of clean musks..what more to say, I like it !

Oh wow! This is very lovely one! I do like the "L´elixir" edition, i like the EDP very much, but this "L´eau" is something more advanced. It is like a spring in the bottle! Very fresh, but not zquatic or ozonic, it has a freshness of a young green grass, i don´t know how they managed to do this. Yet it is also has that "body" of the previous editions. When i smelled it today i was intstantly transformed around 3 month forward, when there is no snow outside and temperature is around 10-15´C celsius degrees. It has a smell of the semi-early spring. And the colour of the flacon captures it perfectly. It is moderatly sweet, and when the opening is quite strong, the middle part is more softer and has a very lovely rose notes.
Good sillage and good lasting power (around 5 hrs).
I am defenitely getting this one!!!

Please people give this smell TIME. It is wonderful and clean smell, just needs a little bit time to show you what is underneath.
