Viva La Juicy Noir by Juicy Couture is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. Viva La Juicy Noir was launched in 2013. Top notes are Wild Berries and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Gardenia, Honeysuckle and Jasmine; base notes are Caramel, Vanilla, Amber and Sandalwood.

Another fragrance—limited edition by Juicy Couture—joins the trendy wave of Noir editions. It arrives in selected stores in July 2013, and globally in August 2013. The officials of the house of Elizabeth Arden accentuate that Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir explores the seductive face of the original Viva La Juicy editions.

Top notes of the composition await us with a juicy union of berries and mandarin, announcing the floral blend of honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine in the heart of the fragrance. The base closes with amber, caramel, vanilla and sandalwood.

Viva la Juicy Noir will be available in metallic pink flacons with a black satin bow ribbon. The outer carton is colored in a combination of pink and black. The fragrance arrives as 50ml and 100ml EDP, along with a rollerball duo which contains Viva La Juicy 5 ml and Viva La Juicy Noir 5 ml.

Scent description: mostly, juicy forest mixed berries. With fresh mandarin and florals in the background. It's not cloyingly sweet at all and very pleasant. A crowd pleaser and I like it a lot.

Performance: lasts an incredible 3 hours as a skin scent. Yes, it's performance is pretty bad. Really brings into question the point of buying a perfume you can't really wear for long? It projects for like 7-10 minutes at an arm's length distance.

For the bottle and name, honestly, it should've been named Viva La Juicy BERRY. It certainly has no "noir" or any dark or mature vibe.

Overall, I find buying this perfume pointless due to the ridiculously short longevity. Unless you are a huge Juicy Couture fan (and don't mind reapplying every hour).

itsheragain

Honestly the whole juicy line has the worst projection and longevity apart from gold couture( she’s my baby). Really sucks because they have such beautiful bottles and notes. I don’t understand what they put in these fragrances because even my affordable body mists lasts longer than this!! I’ve tried everything with this fragrance, layering, macerating etc. only to realise she disappears poof and what remains is the mist I layered her with.

999.eneryeti

i’m just so mad at the viva la juicy line cause i really love the smell of their fragrances but they don’t last at all… i just never wear them despite how much i love the smell cause i know when i get out of the house it will be gone

babeandherperfume

Smells similar to the original VLJ but more soapier. It's ok but doesn't last long.

london.alaine

this smells delish (very similar to VLJ OG, but just different enough that it smells grown up and sexy) love that the sweet comes from fruit and not only gourmand notes ! lasts a medium time on the skin but doesn't have strong projection. not an everyday scent for me (she's a LOT for work at 8 am)
BUT she's gorg as a date night or GNO fragrance

PhantomBelle

This was a disappointment for me, I really enjoy the scent although it isn't "noir" in any sense. The main issue is that this just does not last on me and it hardly projects, and for what it cost...I can't justify telling anyone to purchase it.

It's a miss, for me. Purchased from: Macy's

Lorinica

Gorgeous.... I really love it. Very similar ( not a dupe) to Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia but with better longevity. I haven't bought Gucci due to a no longevity ( 30-40 minutes) inspite of overspraying it so I gave this one a try. The price I paid for this one was 3 times lower than Gucci's so I don't mind reapplying... Mostly I get berries with just a hint of sweet citrus, gardenia and warm caramel vanilla base. Viva la juicy noir stays on me for 2-3 hours and then becomes a nice, snuggly skin scent. I overspray it. Beautiful, feminine, slightly sexy, slightly creamy, sensual, seductive, very inviting scent.
I'd say it can be worn any time of the year, except maybe it's too light for winter months. Projection is 1m and it does leave a beautiful trail behind. It's not a grounbreaking fragrance and yes it has a synthetic vibe to it but I find it very beautiful.... Quite light, inoffensive, cozy, playful, sweet but not sickly sweet... I had never had any of Juicy Couturs in my collection and I'm very glad I bought this one. My new love...

meowwin

its like if you took everything good away from the original. the caramel is now wood, and the berries are now wood, and the candied orange peel is now wood. cool

SSolstice

A fine-tuned version of the original, with added woodiness to give it a bit more character. Still very sweet and pleasing.

darkgiu

I had purchased it years ago but.. I admit, more for the beautiful design of the fuchsia bottle than for the quality of the scent! It is not a bad perfume, it is pleasant but nothing more.. And there's nothing "noir" in it!

Beyond the scent, the super negative side is the persistence.... On my skin it disappears after less than half an hour..

Ever since I was a teen I always wanted a Viva la Juicy perfume simply because of the adorable girly packaging. It wasn’t easily available in my country and the few times I’d seen it I couldn’t afford it. As an adult I found a gently used bottle of this perfume on Mercari and had to make my inner child happy by getting it. It was a blind buy but the scent didn’t really matter because I mainly wanted it for the bottle. Upon receiving and trying it I immediately felt that I’ve smelt this before but couldn’t figure out where. I checked fragrantica and saw that it’s compared to Tease by VS and quickly pulled out my Tease body mist to compare. I think it actually smells more like Tease Noir! Gosh I missed that scent and I’m so happy to have it back in this even more adorable packaging!
So for the actual review part: Smells sweet and sexy with a sugary berry opening and as I mentioned, it’s super similar to Tease and even more so Tease Noir! Lasts 5-6 hours and projects a lot ( I actually have to spray it lightly to avoid getting a headache). Absolutely love it!!

queenofshibs

Smells almost exactly like the original to me. Maybe slightly fruitier, but definitely not different enough to warrant owning both. I expected it to be a darker, more mature take on the original. It smells good, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not what I expected at all.

Shimmer412

A pretty, sweet, flirty, and fun fruity floral gourmand! An easy reach and works well year round!

Honestly though, at least to me this smells just about identical to the original Viva La Juicy. There is just the very slightest difference and I just can’t seem to quite put my finger on what that is. Maybe very slightly darker? It’s so hard to say and I’ve been trying to think of a way of describing it better for quite some time. I read all of the notes and the only difference I saw there was that the Noir version doesn’t include the praline note.

I own the original Viva La Juicy, Viva La Juicy Noir, and Viva La Juicy Gold Couture. Of the flankers I have Gold Couture is my favorite! I do really love the original too, and I feel that if you already own the original then you can easily pass on Noir since it’s basically identical. I also think that VS Tease smells very similar to both the original and Noir. I’m not saying that these are not great fragrances, just that those 3 are extremely similar.

I typically get great longevity with fragrances (even body mists!) and Viva La Juicy Noir is no exception, it lasts the entire day on me! The projection is good too, it radiates out at least an arm’s length from me!

athernaut

This is so yummy. When i first got this bottle I was obsessed with her, so fruity and feminine. Unfortunately, it doesnt last long, so i would bring it with me to reapply - which lead to it getting banged up and now the nozzle sprays out liquid... still works, but smells more alcoholic, like an old ladys perfume. I still wear this to formal events and work sometimes tho.

yelrog

I’m in love with her. This is one of only two scents I’ve completed a full bottle of. Sweet without being cloying, dark but not heavy, floral without smelling like a bouquet, fruity without smelling cheap. She’s a perfect gourmand scent for me. The only gripe I have is the sillage and the longevity. It projects well for the first hour or two, and then just disappears completely. It’s weird, it doesn’t even leave anything behind. It’s like a short term visit from an impassioned lover.
Regardless, I adore this scent. I don’t even care that when I want to wear it I have to bring the bottle along for reapplication. I’m on my second bottle now, and I’m sure I’ll be reupping by the end of the year.
10/10 but not for everyone

noaiguess

I probably got a bad bottle, but all I smell is chemicals. On. the tester it was sweet and delicious with juicy berries but with my bottle harsh chemicals is all I smell.

georgia19

a sexier, more mature and refined version of the original. seductive, fun, and yummy!!

i love this noir version!! i wanted to love the original so so bad. all of the notes were so yummy in theory yet i found it headache-inducing; way too sweet and not at all grounded, just smelled like a cheap mall perfume to me :(( i personally love a yummy gourmand scent but i find for me it also must have substance!

viva la juicy noir has this 1000%. you still get the yummy and rich gourmand caramel and vanilla notes, but they are not too overwhelming, and so nicely complimented by the fruity and woodsy amber musk. think more 'feminine' than the 'girliness' of the original. this makes it more comforting and refreshing. i get so many compliments from both genders with this.

great performance, great price, cute bottle. perfect for date night, or just when you want to feel hot. what more could you want!

LisaJane97

Omg I LOVE this <3 also, when you spray it in the air and walk there after 15 mins the smell is just wow😍✨. A lovely and lively scent. I wore it in 2016 and bought it a few years ago again. It’s still one of my all time favourite scents. Similar to tease from Victorias Secret and also Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia that came out in 2021, whereas this Viva la Juicy is from 2013😇 a very delicious fruity berry sparkling fragrance 😇✨ just needs a bit of retouch <3

One of the best scents ever <3

Linda_80

Love viva la juicy, but this is even better !😍😍

amanda0727

Smells nice, although too perfumey for my taste. I can see myself getting a headache wearing this.

hpeeters

Finally tested this and it’s fabulous! It’s just a different interpretation of the original. It’s a little darker, hence the name. I dig it!

redriverronin

My wife has been looking for something similar to wonderstruck by Taylor Swift that wasn’t discontinued like many others and she found this. I definitely see some similarities in the notes as well as the smell so this for her will work as an affordable replacement that shouldn’t get discontinued soon.

maryramone

Smells fruiter than the original! Definitely did not dissappint me. If you prefer the fruitier smells to sweet, than I'd choose this over the original.

larabk

Not a dupe for Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, but closer than the original VLJ. Still has too much of the VLJ DNA to be a true dupe, and personally I had to wash this off because I didn't like the smell. I think I associate this too heavily with middle school to ever care for it again.

mussulisa

Sweet sugary berries, tiny bit floral and slightly fresh, but mostly sweet. Not that vanillic, more berries. I really like this one. Nice easy reach. Good for all seasons.

Sarahr97

Another Scent bird order! This was very cute and fruity and girly, like a very tasty candy. This is a bit youthful for my taste, kind of reminds me of the La Senza body sprays my friends and I doused ourselves in before a party in High School. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long on me either - maybe three hours or so.

Ki.marie

Just smells like a smoother version of the original Viva la juicy. This is definitely a flanker and I would say if you have one you don’t need the other. If you’re deciding between the original and the Noir, Please choose the Noir!!

lynnphi

This is what I reach for when I want a "mall fix" - and yes, I have those moments! VS Love Spell is so nostalgic to me, but I can immediately identify it wherever I go so it's not a perfume I can personally wear anymore. Yes, VLJ is synthetic, fruity and sweet. But it has enough woodiness to it to keep it from being cloying and headache-y. I would never pay full price for this - but like another reviewer below, I snagged this for an insane discount at CVS and have no regrets.

Iristhenurse

It’s funny because I really liked it when I tried it at the store . It’s different for me, sweet and fruity. So I bought the whole bottle. I don’t know if the perfume has changed or my nose has changed 😂? So if it was before I would vote I “like” it straight away, but now I will say I dislike it until the next 12 hours afters spraying. Plus point is it lasts super long on clothes and I would say the longer you leave it, the better it gets. After hours and hours the synthetic smell will disappear and it just smell really fruity sweet ! It’s a bit of a weird case this girl 👧🏻

RobynCrabtree

I haven't been impressed with the Juicy Couture line. Something about each scent I sample seems like they are trying too hard. They are all loud and synthetic, and this one is no different. Screechy and headache inducing :-(

LadyMuck

Another fruity caramel fragrance targeted at the younger end of the market. Not bad but not brilliant either.
Very much the DNA of Juicy Courture original and as this is another flanker if you love that one you will like this one with a touch of caramel and sandalwood thrown in. Staying power is around 4 hours.

Yllowstar7

I was skeptical when I bought this (blind buy) but I got it because of reviews. First I thought it was just meh., but the more I wear it the more in love I am. It’s sweet and fruity and powdery. I def don’t get caramel but maybe it’s where the sweetness is coming from. It reminds me of D&G pour femme. Not a dupe but similar. If you enjoy pour femme you will def like this one. I feel that pour femme has a bit of tartness that turns sweet powdery.. viva la juicy noir is not tart. Sweet but not overpowering., powdery but the berries always stay present.

I thought of buying a back up bottle of viva la juicy noir already but maybe I can buy a bottle of pour femme and alternate between the two.

Milamolo

I bought this in 2019 after watching a review from Jeremy Fragrance. My most dissapointing gourmand buy to date. It smells like air freshener. It is synthetically sweet, the caramel and vanilla are not prominent at all on my skin.

Hannehoney

Blindbuy :) This on my skin smells exactly like Pink Couture, I think that one is discontinued. I love this :) I dont think its darker or deeper than the original, I just think its more fruity. This will be a new favorite :) Good for any occasion and season.

Fenissa

Get Gran Ballo by Xerjoff instead. Way better performance.

perfume_angel

This smells almost identical to viva la juicy gold but a touch more fruity. It’s a pleasant and girly fragrance but honestly nothing too special. Still lovely though

sweetstar1

I found this in a gift set at CVS for a steal! The gift set came with a 1 oz fragrance, a travel spray and the original VLJ travel spray. It is very berry heavy and reminds me of Cherry Juicy Juice, which is super nostalgic for me. The dry down is the same caramel, floral DNA as the original Viva La Juicy.

GracieGardener

I wanted to love this one and I was super excited to try this. However, I’m not getting ANY of the listed notes, except the sandalwood. As a sandalwood lover, I must say it’s not a particularly good sandalwood either. It’s oddly sour. Perhaps my brand new bottle went off before I could enjoy it? This wasn’t the sweet treat I was expecting.

PuppyFever

If Good Girl Supreme was a skin scent it would be VLJ Noir! It's a pretty, youthful, and girly perfume but doesn't last too long unfortunately.

astralmonad870

To be honest the caramel is too heavy for me and does not suit my personality. The type of girl I have in mind who would like this wears a lot of makeup and is high-maintenance

Ceevee963

This one is all sweet berries on my skin. I enjoy the scent but it doesn’t last more than a couple hours. It wasn’t memorable enough for me to keep so I gave it to my 7 yo daughter. She loves the bottle and when she wears it, she smells beautiful.

Drita

I dont know who compared this to Arianda grande sweet like candy. But this doesnt smell like that at all. It actually smells like perfume from nicky minaj

bajablast

a guy told me this was "what girls are supposed to smell like" while i was wearing this.
leave it to a man to pick the cheapest scent, right? :)) jk jk... it smells like Tease

unicorn1

I’m not sure if it’s my bottle or my body chemistry, but this smells nothing like the fruity notes listed or the reviews below. To me this was a disappointment and one I wouldn’t buy again. I’m sad the fragrance didnt live up to the beautiful bottle. Smells just like a generic perfume, nothing jumps out at me in a good way.

un_bellecherie

I blind bought a tiny 0.33 oz spray pen. I imagined VLJ with a darkness. A candy goth. A vampire princess. Alas, no. I did not smell like a candy goth. I smelled a little berry Tums. And I have to press my nose onto my skin to smell it. No projection with me. I may have to spray a trio of different frags to be that candy goth girl. But then what do I do once the search is over?

anna222

Can instantly smell the berries and orange in this perfume which I really like. It’s a yummy juicy type of berries and orange though. So far though I can’t get any other notes from it, which I wanted to because I love white florals. I did try it on a test paper though so maybe all the notes would come out better on skin. Anyways really nice and love the bottle.

Rolawlaw

Berries are so obvious that makes me feel sick i didn’t like it at all 😥

marialena888m

This has become my favorite casual scent for spring/summer evenings. It wears comfortably on warm nights and never gets cloying or overly-sweet. It just smells great and for me personally, a HUGE step up from wearing some VS body spray when it’s just too warm out to wear a typical evening designer scent. The berries make this flanker smell cleaner and fresher than the OG or Gold flanker (I prefer those for cooler weather). Nice for when I want to just smell pretty and subtly delicious. Moderate sillage, and I’ve gotten a few compliments that I smell nice, but longevity is not that great (3-4 hours)…I got it for dirt cheap, so I don’t mind respraying as often as I want. I live in a hot desert climate, so I reach for VLJ Noir (and La Fleur for casual daytime) way more often than the other VLJs. I might repurchase after running out, unless I find something better at the same price point, but so far, this is my top choice for casual warm evenings. Infact, this and VLJ La Fleur are the only VLJs I will repurchase, the rest aren’t as lovely for the climate I live in.
PS. Do you guys remember those scented pens with fruity smelling ink? I had the blackberry one…VLJ Noir sort of reminds me of that lol.

rinrinlovesrinrin

juicy couture has an unfortunate reputation for making pretty sleazy perfumes, over-the-top, tacky some might even say. i happen to love this fragrance for those very reasons. you "get" immediately what sort of fragrance this is as soon as you spray it. 🧐 i love the idea of just traveling by car from hotel to hotel in various cities, by day visiting coffee shops and specialty boutiques or adult stores and at night, the pub scene and indie clubs. i think this accommodates that sort of life very well. what dreams are made of 💗

i like how the berries and gardenia blend with vanilla, amber, caramel, sandalwood. very captivating combination of notes that smell almost similar to the original 'tease' formulation by vs. only thing is, i wish it projected a little better and lasted longer. it's gone by hour 5 or 6. a flirty, sexy perfume that should to be sprayed medium to oversprayed. 💖

update: i don't think i'll be repurchasing. 😞 it has a waxy quality to it that just doesn't mix with my skin's chemistry well, so i'll wear it on my clothes as opposed to wrists but i think on the blotter tester card thing, it is a really sexy perfume.

oceanorchid

Am I the only one who thinks this smells 98% similar to Good Girl Supreme?

KylieBooFace

The bottle of Noir is too beautiful. I adore the metallic pink bottle with clear edges and the fluffy black bow. Juicy and I are starting to come to an understanding, similar to how the Good Girl line became one of my favorites. At first sniff, it is indeed similar to my Viva la Juicy flankers and the fragrances similar to Viva La Juicy (Day for women, Yes I Am). I notice Noir is sweet but not cloyingly so. VLJ Noir is not warm, strongly vanillic and woody like the berry-filled, nearly edible Good Girl Supreme (a love for year round). Instead, Noir amplifies fruits, florals, and a touch of grounding amber in the VLJ DNA. Noir is to VLJ like Gucci Guilty Black is to original Guilty (fruity with signature DNA). Eta: the drydown is not as nice, as the berries seem to disappear and there isnt so much vanilla/sweet. I think I like Gold edition better.
Update 2: this smells amazing on my skin at first spray but the sweetness and softness of the typical Juicy base just isn't there. It just becomes a flat, odd, not so sweet base. Best sprayed on hair/clothes for me.

emilia123

Love this scent. So good for fall and winter, especially if you love berry scents like me. This is one of the first caramel scents I've found that has a good balance of sweetness without being too lactonic or cloying. Sillage and duration are pretty average but I don't mind reapplying.

supersiren

I received this fragrance in 2016 as a gift from my family because I had been hooked at ulta. I love this fragrance.
Fun fact: Everything turns powdery on me. JCVLJ fragrances have enough of that fruity/flowery punch that it NEVER goes powdery. In fact, my chemistry seems to really bring out the honeysuckle, amber and sandalwood, giving this fragrance so much depth. I noticed that a lot of reviewers were talking about the lasting power...This fragrance stays with me for HOURS. the sillage (scent bubble) is 6-8 feet right after spraying and 2-4 feet after 2 hours. I always get comments on how great I smell when I wear this. I honestly haven't smelled anything that could dupe for this, but I have smelled some that remind me of it.

vanillapeach

This is 1 for 1 dupe of Sweet Like Candy by Ariana Grande! It has a lovely powdery undertone to it which I personally love :)

Yosa

I blind-bought a 100ml used bottle because I've been wanting to test this perfume for AGES (the berry note!) and ALSO because, not gonna lie, I knew the bottle would look great in my 'collection' (minus the bow).

What a nice surprise! 😮 I actually really like it. It's a mixed-berry scent to me. Quite smooth (aka not sharp artificial berry note). I wish I could detect the caramel in it, but I'm sure it's still there. 😉

Does VLJ Noir smell very close to the original Viva La Juicy?? Asking because this smells SO familiar! And NOSTALGIC! I must have smelled this on others, either in night clubs or public places of some sort? This took me back to the 2000..? Was there something similar smelling back then, even before 2008 when the OG was released? I have no idea, but this smells SOOO familiar..

Prior to buying this bottle I had read many reviews about VLJ Noir, and the sentence "The popular girl in high school smelled like this" (something along those lines) - this comment kept ringing in my head while sniffing my wrist and I literally GIGGLED about it because I could totally vision it! It was just "spot on" somehow, whoever wrote it!

THAT SAID. I don't find VLJ Noir "too young" or teenage'y for me, and I just turned 40 this year. OK, I tend to lean towards more 'youthful' scents. But this isn't even the sweetest scents I own, or anyhow "immature". It's sweet, sure, but still toned down somehow. The berries give it a nice vibe. I actually find it quite sexy! And 'sexy' isn't something I easily say about anything. (lol) But yeah, so glad and surprised with this blind-buy!!! 👍

** Sorry for the ramble. 😅

Cazza759

LOVE THIS. This is extremely close to Sexy Little Things Noir by Victoria Secret - which was a favorite of mine that is no longer made. So happy I discovered Viva La Juicy Noir, because it is (nearly) giving me back a favorite fragrance! BTW, I got it from Ulta.

Sexbox1814

My favourite juicy perfume it’s sweet and girly but has a classy expensive vibe to it I’m devastated it’s discontinued Iv been wearing it years men love it

KaliDurga

This is a very attractive fragrance. I can't stop smelling my arm. However, it does smell like shampoo. And there's a lingering scent, maybe the amber, that causes a reverb, of sorts; almost like a scent echo that gives it a bit of a stale scent. This reminds me a scent a female sales associate in a busy mall would wear. Not a safe blind buy.

ThatGothBBW

This reminds me sooo much of Beyonce wild orchid. I can't believe no one has said this yet. I feel like they are veeeerrryyy similar. A slight Dupe for eachother ? Maybe,or maybe not? but they are extremely similar. If you like this you'll like Beyonce wild orchid.

perfumewave

Reminds me of an overly perfumed shampoo.

Joshhiggins32

This would be my third pick in this lineup but that doesn’t mean it’s not good. This is more fruity than caramel like the gold. You still get caramel but it’s more intertwined with the fruits, so it creates a syrupy sweet fruity smell which is great! Performance is solid for this one, not crazy, but it works. I enjoy the scent bubble and you can find this for very reasonable prices. Give it a try, you’ll find a use for it even if it’s not your fav.

KatelynMLovesPerfume

I blind bought this. What I don't understand about this flanker is that it being called VLJ Noir, you'd think it would be a whole lot more intense or have a bit of a sexier spin to VLJ. It really just smells like a more expired version of VLJ. And VLJ has always just been way too simple for me and I actually like Justin Biebers Someday better if I wanted a scent like it. I mostly just wear this to work or to spray randomly so it gets used. Not a bad scent but just terribly boring. I'm thinking about trying the gold VLJ flanker.

libraangel98

This scent is ok. I blind bought it and did expect to enjoy it a bit more. It smells quite juvenile to me and almost reminds me of a spray deodorant I'd wear when I was a teen. In saying that, it is a perfume which I keep in my bag for those moments where I've forgotten to spray myself with a perfume at home. Overall, if you like sweet fruity perfumes, you'll love this.

fairycoffins

This is a really pretty scent for all occasions. I have not tried Gold Couture yet (it’s on the way), and I only have the OG to compare this to, but they are similar. This one is stronger on the berry note, and lacks the praline, and I think I prefer the OG. Longevity leaves much to be desired, but these Viva La Juicy scents are so affordable at places like Ross and TJ Maxx that it doesn’t really matter to me. I probably won’t buy a full bottle of this one unless I find it for a steal (and that’s pretty likely, who am I kidding), but I really do enjoy this. I just let my kiddo have a sniff of my wrist and he loves it. It’s a pleaser; I can’t see anyone hating it. I do own Ariana’s Sweet Like Candy and I definitely get why they’re compared to each other, but this one doesn’t really have that plasticky DNA that Ari’s perfumes have. This is less plastic and more gourmand in my opinion. Lovely.

jossieivancic

im in highschool & get quite a-few compliments and questions on what which perfume ive got on, id say this is perfect for a teenage girl but not like the typical sweet marshmellow-y perfume, its kinda dark
it doesnt last very long though, id say after 2-3h's it disperses, which for me isnt a problem as i bring the bottle with me.
ALSO the bottle is mad cute

juicylover8425

i like this perfume, its just that it is barely noticeable! smells like the regular viva la juicy but more like berries. a great sexy scent it just needs to be reapplied quite a bit. other than that i like it.

AuraAngelMuse

This scent has so much potential but it it has a couple qualities that ruined it for me. First of all, the berry aspect is absolutely amazing in my opinion. It has one of the best berry smells I've ever smelled in a perfume. Sadly, that aspect is completely overtaken by some weird musky smell that almost reminds me of the way Hershey's chocolate smells. Hershey's has this very distinct, musky, odd smell to it that is slightly unpleasant, even though the chocolate tastes good. This perfume has some weird musky element to it that just made me feel dirty when wearing it. The lasting power is also pretty bad, as others have stated. I had to give this one away.

Smells extremely similar to the original (and classic, in my opinion) Viva La Juicy, but with the slightest berry note. To me, this smells like university- I used to douse myself in it, head to toe, before hurrying off to class.

I'm excited to smell this in 10 to 20 years' time and flashback to the same crappy one-room apartment, as vividly as only fragrance can.

marialena888m

This would have been my favorite out of the whole VLJ range…if it weren’t for the abysmal lasting power. Projection is moderate for about 2 hours then it’s a skin scent, and it’s gone 4-5 hours later. It’s so good though, I could bathe in it. Much better than the OG. But then I do love red berries, blue berries, and berry notes in general. Nothing really noir about it, it is only darker compared to the OG because of the berries. I feel this is abit more wearable in warmer months compared to the OG, though not in the sweaty dead heat of summer obviously. The berries make it abit more fresh-sweet, though I’d wear VLJ Noir all year round for casual use, day or night. I like that it’s versatile enough for all seasons. I also feel like this is the sort of scent that will smell great on just about anyone. Despite the poor longevity, I think I will repurchase once I run out, but only at a discounted price.

M1tsouko

There's literally no difference to the original viva la juicy and noir except for the fact that noir has more berry to it. Although i hate patchouli, noir would seem appropriate to put patchouli in to make it smell different from the other viva la juicy fragrances and to give it a nighttime noir vibe. Not to mention noir has about 2-3 hours of lasting power and i find myself repeatedly applying it on myself throughout the day. Not worth your money <3

aqua76239

This pretty much smells like Viva La Juicy, fruit and vanilla, thats rather weak. I am not sure what is "Noir" about it because I don't notice much difference. Lasting power abysmal. Out of all Juicy scents, only original has lasting power. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are fan of the original.

ASanders

Here's everything you need to know about this one simplified....it smells exactly like Tease Glam by VS. The lasting power is terrible and honestly this just smells like a cheap body spray. Nothing special at all. If you have Tease Glam then you already have this scent.

Nonosebarred

Smells like pen ink.

Mariyamokshina

It’s like a berry orange marmalade with some caramel version of the original . Linear , Nothing special

amj5991

Love it but the staying power is horrible

Sexbox1814

My fave juicy…so girly sweet and sexy..it has a slight tart vibe like citrus but it’s fruity aswel…love this and men love it too💗💗

anthysis

I adore berry fragrances, but this one really disappointed me. I love the original Juicy and Gold Couture but something about this one makes me feel ill. I don't smell the berries as much as I do the floral notes, and the scent is heavy and nearly suffocating when first applied. Despite this, the longevity is poor on my skin. The notes listed are nearly identical to those listed for the OG, but this one seems much more "dense".

kunthea.kt

Not a fan of this. Sweet berries, this give me headache

Lanigirl1948

So disappointing... I finally found a roller ball in Viva La Juicy Noir to try; and very happy I did not buy a larger bottle. I am at a loss when reviews say this is a 'fruity' fragrance as it smells nothing at all fruity to me. At first application, it smelled a bit like I Love Juicy, heavy on the patchouli, then it smelled like 'absolutely nothing' - perhaps it's just not suited for my skin. But on the other hand, I have Viva La Juicy and Juicy Couture La La Malibu and both last a lot longer than this one. My past favs have been Bijan, Muglier Angel, Lolita Lempicka, Marc Jacobs Daisy and CoCo Mademoiselle. This one however, I will give away.

sophiafinley

It smells like you put a grape jolly rancher inside of the original Viva La Juicy and let it diffuse, and let me just say I am not a fan of grape candy scent. It also lasted maybe three hours maximum on me. I was expecting a sort of gothic dark version of the original but it's really just a berry perfume.

caydesugar

Second review - been wearing this for a few days and I keep thinking of a cake with berry preserve on top (it doesn't smell jammy but it just reminds me of a berry topped cake)! It's very yummy smelling (berries and vanilla) and I am obsessed!

weirdhoney21

I love the original Viva la Juicy and blind bought this thinking it would make a nice going out scent for me! I read so many positive reviews and it seemed like a crowd-pleaser but I found this to be quite nauseating :( The berry note overpowers everything else and smells like a cheap candle or air freshener. The sillage is great though and it lasted a long time on my skin.

2/10

Cess268

It's a pretty decent scent. However the performance is TRASH. Im glad I only bought a small rollerball. I will NOT be repurchasing or think its worth a full size buy. Possibly good for tweens or younger for play.

caydesugar

Literally smells like berry flavoured cereal + original Viva La Juicy. I love it!
I don't really think it's a 'dark' scent, though.

luciferrrsam

it's a fun, girly sweet scent. definitely not bad, but not particularly memorable either. and the longevity is soooo bad on me. it lasts MAYBE 30 minutes & that's being generous

Hazebedar

This is definitely a fun, girly and flirty fragrance but I much prefer the original, Viva la Juicy. I would also say that the original is stronger and projects more on me. I'm enjoying Noir but there definitely isn't any reason to own both.

lyka

Parfum assez juvénile mais oriental, on sent bien le caramel, à porter par temps frais de préférence, à mon avis convient bien à femme de 30ans maxi car manque de sophistication

teeharaz

straight forward sweet fragrance. Not offensive. Its a safe fragrance. But too plain and boring.

Jadetive

Young, flirty, the perfect girly first date scent. Agree with Gres, it does smell similar to Katy Perry's Meow. Very likable.

Gres

I loved katy perry meow even if on my skin just last 2 hours max but since i cannot find it anymore i was looking and in here i found out few reviews that said viva la juicy noir smells very very similar so i bought and guess what? Totally true😍😍😍 smells very very similar but viva la juicy noir has better longevity

moonsunstars

Definitely pick up the berry and woody notes the most in this fragrance. The dry down reminds me of Gold Couture, as it smells somewhat stronger than the original Viva La Juicy (while retaining its dna of course). Where Gold Couture is Caramel heavy, Noir is berry heavy. This would layer so well with B&BW’s Twilight Woods.

Ldaeln

I think that this is a great fragrance. Like the name, it’s very juicy. The scent truly matches the girly bottle. It’s so young, flirty and feminine but still sexy. You could wear this anytime, this is definitely a crowd pleaser. First, I smell the juicy deep forest berries but when it dries down I get a creamy, caramel white floral. 4/5⭐️

Hunnynpink

Sweet caramel berry floral, with a hint of resin from the amber. Light on my skin and more noticable on my clothes. Fruitiness is similar Viva la juicy.

juliakatdavis

This is probably my favorite of the VLJs. Fruity and sweet. It still has this weird rubbery note that smells like balloons. I have a travel size bottle for when I’m in the mood to wear this, but I def wouldn’t invest in a full bottle.

DaniBear1121

I am LOLing at the last review. So much effort put into a bizarrely inaccurate description. Anyway, this smells like the original with more of a berry opening. I cannot get this fragrance to last more than an hour and a half, otherwise I would love it. It's sexy, beautiful, and great for date night, just be sure to pack a rollerball version in your purse because you'll definitely need to touch up. The Rose and Gold editions last the best, and Gold is easily my favorite.

For the record, I'm in my 30s. I think it's silly to say that fragrances have ages. Wear what you like.

anastasija777

This fragrance is a couple of years older sister to the original Viva la Juicy. Smells like caramelized berries, I like it! Perfect for summer and hot summer nights, or as a year-round signature scent for somebody who wants to smell cute and girly. Guys really do like this scent.

But the performance really lacks on my skin. This scent is deep enough to last better than it actually does. I have had a bottle of this for years and will not repurchase because it does not last well and is a little too girly for me. But the lasting power of scents is individual so this is just my personal experience. Whenever I wear it I keep a smaller travalo bottle with this in my purse and re-apply every other hour. Therefore, this perfume could be a nice upgrade for someone who loves body sprays and wants something slightly stronger but still pretty likeable and safe :)

Phemia

Viva la Juicy Noir was one of those fragrances I started with when I was first dipping my toes into the perfume world. It was that fragrance I would do a hit-and-run for at the perfume counter or aisle - spray it on and leave the area. I never owned a full size of this, I got by on numerous samples and popping in to stores for the aforementioned hit-and-runs. I was determined to purchase the full size back then but I'm glad I never got around to it because I feel like over the years I've wildly outgrown this fragrance now that I've sampled it again this year.

Noir opens with a heavy blackberry note. Despite the pyramid listing Wild Berries, it's definitely a pronounced blackberry note - deeper and darker than raspberry or other berries. It also opens overwhelmingly sweet, which might be why I preferred this when I was in my early 20's versus now that I'm in my late 20's. The orange is there, quite a fresh slightly bitter orange if you can get past the sweet berries. The honeysuckle is most apparent of the florals to me. The caramel, vanilla, and wood are quite faint at first, I think primarily because the sweet, slightly tart berries overtake the opening. In fact, until Noir settles after about 30 minutes to 1 hour, I would say it's too strong and nearly cloying. Don't inhale too deeply when this is first applied because it does have a bit of an astringent quality at the beginning until it settles some.

As Noir dries down, that overwhelming fruity sweetness dies out a bit. Don't get me wrong, it's still incredibly fruity and sweet even after it dries down, but it doesn't overwhelm the rest of the notes as much as it does in the beginning. The caramel and vanilla come out more after some time and the sandalwood finally shows up to the party but it's rather light. For the whole ride, from opening to dry down, there is an underlying amber note.

Noir still has most of the same characteristics of the original Viva la Juicy, you can definitely tell it's from the same family and I still get flashbacks of the mid 2000's (every girl in my high school wore VLJ) when smelling this as I do when I smell the original (millennials and xennials will know what I mean). But, it smells a little more refined than the original. I'm not sure why the name Noir was chosen because I don't get dark, sexy, mysterious or any of that when I smell this. I picture a young girl or woman who is relatively inexperienced with perfumes - their notes and nuances - who is just looking to up her game from the B&BW or Victoria's Secret body sprays.

Katiestark

This really is such a great fragrance! It is so fruity and sweet with vanilla and a bit of caramel however, this fragrance is pretty pricey for a fragrance that only lasts about 3 to 6 hours on my skin. Based on the $50 I had to pay for this, it kind of disappointed me longevity wise but other than that it does last pretty well on clothes and my wrist but doesn’t last on my neck which is my favorite place to put perfume.

Mariana Arias

Fruity body mist. Smells nothing like the original Viva la Juicy or Gold Couture. This is more similar to Juiced Berry from VS (anyone remember those?). Still it’s a nice dark fruity sweet perfume. Men like this in third place after VLJ original first and Gold Couture second

justlychee

Do you like smelling like a junior high school girls’ locker room? If so, this is the perfume for you. It’s a slightly (and I do mean SLIGHTLY) classier version of Victoria’s Secret Love Spell. If you enjoy this scent, just buy the Love Spell. It probably has the same longevity, if not better.

Not_a_perfume_junkie

Very similar to the original , but improved. On me it's sweeter , more pronounced with the caramel it's slightly stronger and lasts much longer. It's young . Nothing special or fancy to warrant the word NOIR. It's something I wear around the house . Tbh , it's an overpriced celebrity perfume.

fleardella

Smells very sweet and fruity. Nothing new or different. Smells like every single women's perfume, very generic

cooke.84

Smells like a nice fruity shampoo. Not bad, but not amazing. I'm still getting whiffs from when I put it on 7hrs ago, so longevity is there. Sillage is moderate. I would recommend it for a teenager or woman in her 20s as a decent starter fragrance that is inoffensive and fun.

HollyJolly1989

If you love Viva La Juicy, this is the same fragrance, but on steroids. So much sexier with better longevity, projection, and silage. Most definitely attracts attention on nights out. This is also one of my "go-to" fragrances in my wardrobe. Makes me feel flirty and sexy. Definitely more on the playful side than the sophisticated side. Made for a fun day/night out on the town.

ladyofthebrook

I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed with this. It was a blind-buy and I wanted something more complex and dark, with the vanilla and the woods and caramel. To be fair, my first reaction was positive, but then it didn't turn into anything more complex with the dry-down and remained sort of vaguely artificially fruity. I don't hate it- I might even like it- it's just not what I wanted, and when the travel spray I purchased runs out, I don't intend on buying a real bottle. I have been told by others that it smells nice though, so there's that. It's not bad, I just thing there are other things that do what I wanted better.

annamelchionda98

It doesn’t smell bad but it smells cheap and it doesn’t perform at all. There’s nothing “noir” about this.. It’s not worth the money in my opinion!

FrkFors

I'm sorry, but this is my slut perfume. Haha. I wear this for my boyfriend. It's playful, youthful, fun, teasy... Makes me feel sexy and cute.

It stays better in hair and on clothes than on skin, but it still needs a lot of re-applying, it has very poor longevity. I will repurchase despite this, just because of the mood it brings me.

vifsongbird

I wasn't keen to try any of the juicy couture line, as it was popularly deemed it as a teenage zone. However, I received a decant of this in a fragrance subscription on explorer mode and it was instant love! That first sniff, definitely get that overpowering sweetness from the wild berries, with a hint of citrus that makes it yummy. Then, it melts down into this warmth of florals and sugary notes that lingers almost too intimately on your skin. Love wearing this under clothes, where the slightest movements just carries the yummy notes straight to my nose! Sadly, the scent disperse almost immediately, and silage sits very close to the skin. Definitely a keeper if you plan to have someone exploring closely to yourself. Definitely getting a small bottle, as I enjoy sniffing this throughout the day.

jbsherry

This is a guilty pleasure of mine. It may not be the most complex scent, but it smells heavenly. It opens with juicy wild berries, then mandarin orange, followed by vanilla and caramel accord. I’d say it’s pretty linear and you get most of the notes upfront, but I own a ~ten year old bottle (purchased as a teen and recently rediscovered it in a cabinet) so that could have something to do with it, granted. Longevity is fleeting, so you need to spray generously to last a full night out. Not much risk of over-spraying IMO. It's girly, sweet, and sexy.

Rumu

I couldn't find caramel, sweetness into noir. Only strong wild berries. Lasts only 3-4 hours after applied on my skin. I'm disappointed with it... ☹️

fyetan

I think I also prefer this to the original VLJ, even though you definitely don't need both (learn from my mistakes, kids!).

This one opens up with a bright juicy mandarin, and then becomes berry dominant after about 10 minutes. There is a base of original VLJ - namely caramel with a bit of depth from the florals.

I don't know what it is about the VLJ line but the general scent reminds me of stale sugary cereal. Maybe it's been overused in my area.

juxtapositionjones

On our way to visit my elderly mum in her aged care home, we stopped off at the local pharmacy so I could get some bleach for my hair (I will never learn, Brad Mondo). I had to go past the fragrance section, so I thought I'd grab a bottle of something for my collection. Police -To Be Metal stood out, sheerly for the bottle. A metallic pink skull. Not into skulls but this one was pretty.
Standing around that section was a herd of 20 somethings, with their long manes flowing, spraying Ariana Grande perfumes vigorously. While I was waiting to get to the Police perfumes, a little square metallic pink bottle caught my eye. I sprayed my left arm up and down with it.
Eventually I got the Police To Be Metallic and left.
When I hopped back in the car my husband commented "Mmmmm what's that you smell of?" I told him it was Juicy something noir. I then got a lecture on the meaning of noir.
All afternoon, my husband would sporadically grab my left arm and drag it to his nose. I have to admit so did I. Later that night, he declared it to be one of the most sexist scents he had ever sniffed on me. I own nearly 100 perfumes.

Next day he came home with a bottle for me.

Conclusion - Initial spray is a light pretty intro of soft fruit and little flowers. The main event is the dry down. Its seductive, solid, and sophisticatedly sweet. Its carameley, creamy, musky, with just a hint of floral sharpness. That's got to be the gardenia.
Silage is extremely intimate. Wear it often and your skin will absorb it and it lingers longer and longer.
Sex goddess in a bottle.

Morbid85

This is so good, one of the most inoffensive fragrance that i have ever smelled. There's nothing ''noir'' here, Its light and I would wear it on summer as i tried this in cold season and the longevity is just poor (in cold). Smells expensive young chick. Gorgeous from the inside and out.

mz.honey

I always wanted to try Juicy Couture perfumes, and this was the first time purchasing this specific one. Its fruity notes have already become my instant favorite! It's a sure keeper! Definitely agree with one reviewer whom had said that the berries are the instant star of the show! Juicy Couture have the cutest bottles around. Definitely looking forward to collect more from the Juicy Couture collection!

sibaraa

My favorite out of the whole line. The berries are the stars of the show and the gardenia is so tamed unlike the original.

MidnightfantasyJenny

My favorite from the Juicy Couture line. A deep warm super-syrapy fruit of the forest scent with caramel, vanilla and white florals, good for everyday use! Longevity is not that good tho, overspray, and you get like 1 hour of the yummy scent, so there is a frequent use to applying more but I think it’s worth it, I really love this scent, so good for the colder months like fall and winter, it will leave you smelling like warm sweet berries, yummy!

MK55555

It's smells like original but with wild berry note, witch makes it very cheap smelling body spray. I like berries, but not in this fragrance. I prefer original more.

Alwayssmelling good

I love this and have worn it so much but it does have its issues. Longevity is awful and really ruins the fragrance for me. Also it tends to smell old after a few months of opening the bottle, which is such a shame. It is gorgeous though, very sexy and fruity and doesn’t have the caramel from the original which I prefer.

Rozalina

This is the only VLJ perfume that isn’t completely annoying to me. I agree with the reviewer below that said it smells basically just like the original VLJ but somehow more well rounded and pretty. I would like to say that this is a 1 for 1 exact same fragrance as “Sweet Like Candy” by Ariana Grande. On SLC’s Fragrantica page most people said it smells like the original Viva La Juicy, but it’s deeper and prettier like VLJ Noir.

aemw

not much of a difference from the og viva la juicy but i think i prefer this one? slightly darker version. I overused this when i was 15 so i can't wear it ever again lol, but it is a really nice and sweet perfume. if you are choosing between the two viva la juicy perfumes go for this one! I got a lot of compliments whenever i wore this one.

kkaattjjeess

Not convinced about this one, it's pleasant, inoffensive, basically a VERY slightly more night time appropriate version (hence the name Noir) of the original Viva La juicy.

There isn't that big of a difference between the 2, with so many stunning sultry perfumes on the market, I would not choose to use this for a night out, I will wear it here and there for daytime and hope to use it up.

Sillage and longevity (on me) are medium-ish, nothing to write home about but not terrible either.

Gemsense

This is not worth the hype. It smells cheap and generic. Mish mashed fruits slipped together. It doesn't even have a song. Experience tells me I have to let the molecules adjust to my geography and try it in different seasons. As of now it's a blah scent. I won't be wearing it though or using it cuz it would just be a waste to use when it's not at its finest yet. So I'll let it settle and give it another chance later on.

nisablue

I am not very good at describing scents and all the notes in a fragrance.
All I know is that: 1) I finally got on the Juicy Couture bandwagon and chose this one as my first JC perfume. 2) Somehow I am loving the scent with every spritz. I got the 100ml on a very good discounted price on AllBeauty website. It is sweet, comforting, warm. That is all I can say about how it smells. 3) Unfortunately, longevity on me is almost non-existent, it's gone within 20 minutes after applying and NO sillage whatsoever. It leaves me craving for it more. I am a heavy sprayer so I'd spray minimum 10x, and still..still..it is fleeting and leaving me wanting more and more. Luckily, since it is on more affordable price point amongst all my other fragrances, I do not mind one bit to keep re-applying.
I wear this to bed and around the house, by the way. Especially to bed. I don't think I'd wear this outside since, again, I cannot smell it after 20mins and reapplying would be a massive task since I'd have to carry the 100ml EDP bottle with me.
I wish this would stay longer and linger on my skin...

xx2901

Oh gosh, this is pretty! I love fruity vanillas and it ticks all boxes of my preferences: fruity, white floral and candy-like.
Now speaking of longevity...I think Juicy Couture perfumes expire quickly. So once you buy, use it now.
Check the batch code. I think they sell old ones with big discounts.
Stocking up doesn't help. Freshly opened bottle lasted me all day long and it was so creamy-dreamy-sexy fantasy. But when I used same bottle after few months, it had that bitter expired perfume note.
Something funny and cliche: even expired it got me compliments. Wow.

Imalthia

Sweet and fruity, but not cloying. What's not to like? It might not be the most unique or sophisticated scent, but it's fun and easy to wear and puts you in a good mood. A crowd pleaser, will get you tons of compliments. My only complaint is the longevity, which is about 3 hours.

Not a Perfume Collector

cough syrup. yuck

dglightblue

winter test, skin

viva noir, its very simplistic, in the warm weather its onrangey sweet ice creamy, but i think its been taken over by my other sscent testing today. i have reviewed that one in the past also.
its caramel clean rounded clean a little more sugar in it that viva. better staying power on fabric, its gone from my skin.
to me the eraser note which viva has in not present here, this one is warmer, yet stays clean and not hazey warm sweet burnt sugar type.
its like clean sugar, rounded.

nto the greatest longevity but worth a test, i had this years ago and sold on as pathetic power, but my skin has changed we are talking many years. lasts better, and i think better scent in winter not summer.

gpaisley

Lovely, intoxicating, sweet berries fruity perfume, with a hint of minty-vanilla tonka bean (similar to the tonka bean scent in Dior Addict or Kensie Kensie). This smells similar to the original Viva La Juicy - however to my nose, Viva La Juicy Noir has a more fruity/berries scent to it, less caramel, and an added minty/tonka bean skin scent on the dry down.

ohmichelle

This smells like...
Cherries
Blueberries
Honeysuckle
Popsicles ( because it’s kind of a cold, juicy, refreshing but kind of sharp scent in my opinion)
On my skin, it smells exactly like the original viva la juicy but on clothing it smells like crushed berries and popsicles

It’s more loud and pronounced than the original. More fun, playful, girly girl, attention grabbing, "look at me!"

The original is softer, more casual, and just overall more of a skin scent than Noir.

While the gold is the warm sultry seductive and mysterious one

Nuzy05

My signature perfume, have emptied so many bottles. Love the berries and the caramel balance. It is seductive, sweet and mysterious. It has mellow citrus notes. This one is a forever favourite, Gold Couture is over hyped, but Noir beats all in the range in my opinion.

KittyDeBeauvoir

A fun, flirty-date fragrance.

I gotta say I 100% agree with Balletflowers - it smells *exactly* like the original Viva La Juicy. It's pretty much exactly the same, except this is marginally stronger and - maybe - fruitier. I feel it has more sparkling, tangier berries. Longevity is still pretty abysmal. Gone after an hour.

The bottle's cute. Pink and black are a striking colour combination, and the bow is EXTRA!
The name is misleading. There's nothing "noir" about this. It's not dark in the conventional sense. The only dark thing about this is my mood after discovering it's a 99% clone of the original.

I crack myself up.

Whilst I'm not mad about it, it does seem to appeal to some of our male heterosexual counterparts. My husband really responded to this. He picked it out twice over two other difference fragrances at two different times when I did blind-smelling with him!

Truth is, I don't actually dislike this.
It has the quintessential VLJ DNA - It's fruity, it's sweet, it's floral, it's gourmand, it's kinda airy/ozonic. I've come to the conclusion that the DNA basis of the VLJ line is to cram as many major olfactory note types into its perfumes. For the most part; it works.

Kitty rating: 7/10.

Zosiasbear

I went on a perfume haul with Juicy Noir among them. I am in love with this perfume. It is Summertime in a bottle. It's blueberries heated under a summer sun and is absolutely happiness and good feelings. If Will Smith's "Summertime" takes you to the barbecue, this one takes you to the table with the blueberry cobbler. Does it feel like a "noir"? No, but I don't really care. I could smell myself all day wearing this.

Balletflowers

This smells exactly like the original viva la juicy to me. I don’t know why they added the name noir to it, it doesn’t smell dark or sexy at all. I’ve smelled this so many times from other perfumes that copied it, a bunch of celeb perfumes. I don’t think it’s anything special or unique anymore. It’s just a sweet, fruity scent that smells like a lot of things out there. Projection & lasting power are both weak even when sprayed on clothes.

skyneverfall

After I have been using it for almost 2 years now I just decided this perfume deserve a review.

Back in 6 years ago when I first saw Viva La Juicy Gold bottle sitting on a counter at Macy’s, I sample it and I hate it so much. I didn’t understand why many people love it. I didn’t give up so 3 months later I when back in a store and try it on again. Still hate it. I’m a sweet tooth and love sweet perfume but I think Gold is just too sweet and it is straight up caramel praline combo. Ok I finally can’t resist Noir gorgeous bottle so I actually blind bought her. But She turns out to be a big love for me.

Noir smells sweet but it has the berries cut down too overwhelming sweetness you got from Gold. And Noir actually last longer. I got TONS of compliments when I’m wearing Noir. For me, I can breath in Noir deeply without thinking this perfume is too strong, irritating my noes. You know when you put too much perfume on even a good perfume will be a disaster but not with Noir! I spray it all over myself and get into a car with my friend who her nose is very sensitive. She still love the scent.

Liquid Spell

I love it! It's sweet berry balanced with the wite florals and caramel. It very natural and sexy! It has good sillage and staying power.I also have Gold Couture which is my favourite.

Tessa03

I am on my second bottle of this so I figured it was time for me to write my review. For reference, I own the original Viva La Juicy, La Fleur, Noir and Pink Couture. I have smelled and tested all of them and considering getting Glace and Bowdacious. Out of all the flankers currently out, Noir is by far my favorite. On me, it also lasts the longest. I have received many compliments while wearing. I get a lot of red berries upon initial spray and then when it dries down, I am not sure how to explain other than the typical Viva La Juicy DNA - perhaps it is the white flowers (gardenia and jasmine?) that are most prominent. It is sweet that's for sure but I get zero caramel from this. I have tested Gold Couture and all I got from that was caramel and for me that one was a scrubber. I wear Noir in all seasons, day or night. I do pair it was Victoria's Secret Tease body lotion and worn together, it lasts and garners compliments. I will always have a place in my collection for Noir.
UPDATE: For those questioning the longevity & sillage - I got a complaint at work regarding this. It was projecting like a beast hours after I had this on. It is potent and if you put on enough (more than 2 sprays) everyone around you will smell you.

JolieSucre

I have no idea how to detect notes and how to name them, I just identify scents similar to perfumes.

This one is 99% the Juicy Couture VLJ Gold Couture, in the sense of being a more sour, less warm version of that one. Nothing special, even far less so than GC, and that one already is generic and bland to me.

I have the Gold, La La and Rose versions, plus this one. ALL of them smell the same, except for some added scents. The Rose one is the strongest, has the best silage, and does indeed smell of roses + the Juicy Couture 'tang'. Most people claim the Noir is the longest-lasting, I strongly disagree. Depending on what you think a strong perfume is, I guess. To me this is just...generic.

Everyone notes that JC perfumes are sweet, and indeed Jeremy Fragrance from YouTube is a big fan and mentions how delightful, sexy and sweet/feminine the JC perfumes are.
The 'DNA' of the JC perfume, as he names it, doesn't seem sweet at all to me. Sweet, in my opinion, are Aquolina, Angel, La Vie Est Belle, Scandal, etc.

The JC perfumes DNA is tangy, spiked, like a little stab in the nostrils. Pretty much the same 'DNA' that Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue has- i don't know what that note is, but to me it's very sharp, citrusy, like a stab in the nose.

Perhaps it's just citrus. That's what i detect the base/skeleton of the JC perfumes to be (only the Viva La Juicy collection).
The Couture perfume (Couture Couture, smart name...) is fundamentally different, very sweet, candy-like, blossomy. I much rather prefer that one as it is indeed a very special and different scent. The Viva la Juicy series, not so much.

I admit i bought them after seeing the raving reviews, and perhaps it's me who is into super sweet perfumes that i can't even detect sweetness anymore. For reference, I don't like Angel or Alien, they are too pungent and synthetic. I do however love sugary, flowery perfumes...
Anyways, so to me this perfume is the typical Viva la Juicy tang + a faint note of berries (synthetic, grape juice) that can be sniffed in the beginning only.

After the first 50 seconds it's just the Viva La Juicy scent, shampoo + citrus. Not impressed.
Men however seem to love these perfumes, perhaps it feels different to other people and other men, included. Will continue to wear it as it's allegedly very sexy- though I don't think so.

Ladyd4475

I blind purchase this fragrance based on review here and on youtube.
I just got the bottle today and I like it.
It is very sweet and full of berries. Maybe it's too sweet for me but I kinda like it. I never own VLJ not even the original one. I will buy the original one and compare :) I'm sure one of VLJ will be my favourite. Maybe this one or maybe the original one or maybe the gold one ;)

KrystalPower83

Sweet berries and caramel, what's not to like? Sillage and longevity are poor unfortunately, last maybe 2 hrs on my skin, gotta spray on clothing too to smell it longer. I bought this and Gold Couture at the same time, Gold is stronger and more caramel,I like it more than this Noir.

Vanillastorm40

So is it just me or does every single flanker that Juicy Couture has smell the exact same?

smhunter

I like this one, a bit too young for me. Very fruity, sweet.

MinnieCay

Love this, just wish it lasted a bit longer. VLJ doesn't react well with my personal chemistry, but I don't have that issue with this one.

Nilaby

I ordered a sample size of this perfume to try it out based off Jeremy Frangrances review. After spraying it initially, I get a sugary berry scent, within 30 minutes I get to the dry down caramel notes. This scent smells youthful, flirty and delicious. Unfortunately, it has very bad lasting power. On my skin, I’m lucky if it lasts a couple of hours. It’s also sits very close to my skin so no one can smell it unless they get really close. Definitely an intimate and sensual perfume. I will not be purchasing a big bottle because of the lasting power not being very good.

JustSimpleThings

On my skin, this is straight up bubblegum. Juicy, not too heavy, just right! Berries, caramel and vanilla for sure.
This is a feel good scent, very easy to wear.

olliesmom

I pick this up when I feel carefree, playful and cant be bothered.

I love this, a version of viva la juicy with more berries, to me a better version compared to the original. The original viva la juicy, orange and caramel contrast are harsher to my nose. Additional berries note somewhat smoothed them out for me.

I always get compliments from my male coworkers when i wear it. Yes it is somewhat juvenile for work but oh well, I wear what I feel like.

Projection is decent for a few hours, before it dies down to skin scent but it is a pleasant scent.

Azisai-

I got this as a present and I’m so happy I finally have it after it’s been on my wishlist for months. It’s unlike any other fragrance I have, and it might not be for everyone but hear me out.

It starts off VERY shampoo-y. You know what I mean. Synthetic berries, with a clean scent being very prominent. The sillage is amazing at first, it fills up the entire room when I spray it.

However, after a bit, it turns creamy. Like vanilla with a slight berry undertone. It’s cozy and sweet, it smells like what cute looks like. I don’t sense too much caramel, but occasionally it’ll just pop up and compliment the vanilla. Around this time you won’t fill up the entire room with the fragrance, instead someone near you will go “you smell good!”

It’s final breaths are still vanilla, but instead of berry, gardenia. The gardenia is very slight because at this point it’s a skin scent.

It’s strange but lovely because it goes from celebrity perfume fruity to vanilla with a whisper of white florals. Although I wish it lasted longer, it’s still very cute and a fun fragrance.

Amascent

First let me say I love this... for what it is. It is the best of the Viva La Juicy line. And in my opinion the best perfume for the category I'm about to describe... It is a man pleaser. It's the DNA of men's attraction. Period. They wouldn't wanna marry you, but they'd wanna... well you know how that goes. This is not elegant, or refined. Don't wear it to impress, wear it for guaranteed attraction. Its sweet, sensual, sexy, fun, and young. Its the dumb hot blonde of your perfume collection. You will turn heads at a night club. You will be noticed, and this will last. Its a good hot date scent, and definitely a little raunchy and juvenile. Bad decisions kinda scent. But like I said, there's a time and place for this, and this perfume should 100% hold a spot in your collection. We all need 1 of these perfumes for times we just wanna smell hot AF. Nothing more, nothing less, and no perfume does it better.

natasha.wahyudihardjo

This is by no means a bad fragrance, but it really smells juvenile to me. At 26, I don't think I can pull this off. This smells quite young to me. Everytime I smell this, I think of a 16 year old girl trying to get into clubs using a fake ID. The second scenario is a college girl attending house parties held by her sorority. Just juvenile.

Palmer Eldritch

This smells like those quality, vintage eau de parfums from the 80's. I feel like Juicy Couture has brought back the vintage in modern fragrances.. a good catch in the market!

After initially smelling it this is definitely a fall/winter/cold weather perfume.

Juicy Noir doesn't show its true colours in the summer or spring. It's a much heavier version of the original viva la juicy.

First spray: SO MANY BERRIES, SO MUCH CARAMEL...with the honeysuckle/gardenia lingering in the background. Also the mandarin seems quite strong on my skin so I'm actually shocked it's not voted on much here.

The berries & caramel are pretty much the dominant notes throughout the perfume lifecycle on my skin.

The vanilla, amber and (lesser)sandalwood creep quite quickly after 30 minutes on my skin.

PERFORMANCE: Honestly all the viva la juicys grab attention and compliments, especially from men. This is no exception. It lasts quite long on the skin and the projection is acceptable.

In final words...this is not my favourite scent ever...it's not pleasing to me personally... BUT it grabs plenty of attention from the crowd. So I gotta love it for that :)

VERDICT: Best winter/fall crowdpleaser scent. Safe for all environments & first dates. Fruity delicious. Relatively safe blind buy...instils familiarity.

amy1983

This smells like the original with some fake berries thrown in. The shiny pink bottle is prettier, but if you have the original, you probably don't need this one.

Asoss

For me this is a blind buy gone terribly wrong. I did my research and read the reviews, but my skin chemistry doesn't support this perfume. Openning is nice, juicy and fruity, but after only 5 minutes it turns in smell of burnt plastic, sharp, synthetic, sorry I have to say nauseating and vomit inducing. And it does have good longevity:( No change happens with the change of season:(
But I'm keeping this, as a reminder to do my research better next time and try it before buying it.

mevans

So nice! Quite fruity at first spray and then it settles into a warm, sweet, fruity, vanilla-caramel. Like a lot of the Juicy Couture fragrances, expect some compliments from men. But also like some of the other fragrances they offer, it's performance is not great. Carry the bottle in your purse, you'll need to reapply after a couple hours.

Sonyakaroliinaq

I love this fragrance, but it's really soft on me. If i want this to ''pop'', i need to spray this quite heavily. But i don't mind it, the scent is so lovely. Lasting power is not the best, about 6 hours but that's also ok to me.

Jasmindee

This perfume smells SO good on me.

It's versatile, I've worn it out clubbing and felt sexy and feminine and I've worn it during the day. It's sweet, juicy, has a sexy deeper undertone (I think that's the caramel) and my boyfriend is all over me like a rash when I wear it. It's my current go-to for a pick-me-up and I am living for it. Every time I spray this I get compliments and I wore it around my friends and everyone wanted to spray it on themselves.

Very cute bottle as well! I love the pretty black bow and the gorgeous pink colour.

tessture

a tropical tinged fruity floral that is a tiny bit young for me, but still pretty. Pretty and somehow pink.

LadyVenganza

Sweet, sharp plasticky fruit with the sweetness of caramel. Very similar to the original viva la juicy. I originally blind bought it because a youtuber recommended it as being one if the best fragrances for women. Smelled too young and simple for my taste. Ended up giving it away. Not horrible but not for me.

lrnonken

A pleasant fruity vanilla, very faint at 4 hours totally gone at 8hrs. Similar fragrances that to me last longer are Juicy Couture "Couture couture" and even the original "Viva La Juicy" to me seems to last longer, with similar middle and base notes but less of an emphasis on the berry top note.

madmax78

This is such a fruity, happy, pretty feminine scent...I spray it on and it just makes me go ahhhhh! My partner always compliments me when I wear this too...’oh you smell nice’ Yep, she’s a pretty perfume! Just wish it lasted a bit longer on me...oh well!

dglightblue

juicy noir
this isnt very noir in my opinion

first impressions this is a sweet: clear caramel and fruit.

from reading the accords im guessing the white florals are giving a creamy and clear feel.

this fragrance doesnt have a dusky feel, its the clear kind.

i dont get berries, the fruit is non descript but nice. i suppose this has alot to do with the viva la juicy i used to have that but never wore it as it didnt last.
i have recently aquired hollywood royal, im not so keen on it as it doesnt last on me so perhaps this is abetter alternative.

something in my thought prada candy - it has a similar clear type of caramel, i would need to test those two side by side really, but just a thought i had

most of these scents have a shampooey vibe underneath the notes.

perfumeglam87

Very similar to the other juicy couture fragrances. Esp La fleur. I mix this with Paul Sebastian design and it lasts all day! Trick to weak fragrances add a white floral on top. Best ones for these types: gardenia, tuberose, lilly, honeysuckle, frangipani etc Xo

DIMITRA93

This has become my signature scent. It's so yummy and girly but at the same time sexy. I have got compliments from both men and women. My husband loves it when I wear it. I usually spray 5-6 times and a few times on my hair. I can still smell it on my pillows and clothes. I had the original one too but I feel like this one is so much better.

Nanders_19

Very Victoria Secret Love Spell-ish. Smells typical, men love it. Great for a younger girl. Doesn't last at all. Gone with in a hour. Need to spray ton's to get it to stay on. I give it a C grade. I would just recommend getting Love Spell, it's cheaper and last longer.

Simkitty181

Sweet and juicy berries, with vanilla drizzled over top, and a soft underlying woody note

Adorable bottle, I love having this on display, its so pretty

Silage can be a little loud at first
Quickly becomes a skin scent
Lasting power is 2-4 hours

malones

I started out loving this one, but it makes me want to puke whenever I wear it. It doesn't smell good on my skin.
I get berries from this and I love berries, and it's very sweet but there's just something "off" about it when I wear it.
Not a good match!

Susan8808

Love the perfume mini made in France. Bought 3.3 oz tester thinking it would be the same. The tester had a very synthetic smell and lacked the depth and richness of the mini. These fragrances were not the same!!

Pooka524

When I first sprayed this perfume I was immediately taken back to when I was young and I received my first perfume the Debbie Gibson scent Electric Youth. It's not exact, some may say not even close but there is some sort of underlying note combination that gives me flashbacks of that time. Maybe it's the amber and berries/fruit. It is a younger smelling fragrance with a sexy side and it is so yummy. I like this scent more than Gold. Sillage is decent but I feel like the longevity, like all Juicy perfumes kind of stinks. I need to respray every couple of hours. It smells so good, and I can get it at a decent price, that it doesn't matter too much. I just wish the yummy goodness would last longer.

royalq

This perfume reminds me of Justin Biebers Someday perfume. They are almost identical except this one is lgihter and slightly more juicy/ fruity smelling. I really love the way this smells but i cant help but feel cheated for the fact that this smells so similar to JB's perfume yet I paid $60 for it and JBs perfume can be found for almost $20 bucks. The staying power of this was a joke also. I did every trick in the book and it simply vanishes after 2-3 hours. I also dislike the bottle because it is opaque so you cant see how much is in there. Overall a nice perfume for a teenager- young adult. Weak staying power. I plan to return it.

petal411

I love Viva La Juicy but I love this one more. Caramel and berries. It is intoxicating !

bella1616

My best friend has this perfume and introduced it to me and wow! It is definitely a white floral based fragrance. I am a lover of the Juicy Couture Gold as I love warmer fragrances. Although this one smells a bit cleaner, it is amazing. The woody/vanilla notes really pulled me in. It is alike to Gold but with a white floral tone instead of the caramel tones in Gold! Can't wait to buy my own!

pennny

I just got this perfume.I didnt sample it ..Just blind buy from the reviews here..This is similar to noir tease by VS with more intense notes from fruits.Love it..This perfume gives you so good energy as a woman..so happy that I have it

64by_

Damn. This perfume...is perfection. Anything that have vanilla, caramel, sweet fruity kind of scent are always very sexy to me, but viva la juicy Noir are beyond sexy to me, theres no words to describe this anymore. Is my signature scent till today. I always repurchased this perfume whenever I almost run out of it. I know this perfume reminds me of victoria secret noir, because they are similar just that viva la juicy's noir have better performance and better sillage and offcourse different messages because it has more depth in it. This perfume got me lots of compliments from people. If you want your boyfriend to remember and miss you everyday this is definitely the perfume that you need. It is an easy night scent too. This perfume scent make me feel confident and whenever i feel sad i am gonna spray me some of this perfume to make feel better.

Well i better stop reviewing about this perfume cause I can get mad and crazy and Idk... thats such a liquid emotion.

cedar_lea

This has potential!

It starts out with a solid berry scent that is a little on the dark side. Blackberries and currents, maybe something redder in the mix. This isn't a candy berry, just fresh and juicy.

There is some sweetness separate from the berry but it's doesn't have the richness of Carmel. Maybe it should have been labeled raw sugar?

Beyond that I don't find this particularly gourmand. The vanilla blends with the the floral notes to create something creamy, but more like a lotion creme than something you'd want to eat. The flowers smell pretty synthetic, but in a way that adds to the toiletry affect and isn't a bad thing.

As it settles down the sandalwood mikes it airier, which wasn't something I realized sandalwood could do. At this point it is light and I occasionally think it has faded, but then it comes back. The berry note is much less pronounced but still occasionally noticeable. I've read that this can be temperature sensitive and I am testing it on a sunny autumn day in a coastal town so the weather is pretty moderate.

-=-=-==-
Upon revisiting I'm unsure. In colder weather it seems the berry note leaves faster, but the "carmel" has an interesting pastry vibe. The florals make this surprisingly fresh. It borders on not being gourmand. It is delicious but not quite edible. Yet I'm not sure how I feel about the contrast. It's fresh and cozy at the same time. Maybe it would be better suited for spring. I still think the scent has gone and then find that I can detect a little an hour later. I don't know if this is heat related or I just don't smell it well

MrAbbas

Its a gorgeous fruity sexy girly scent that is a definite compliment getter. I wear it in casual scenarios and many people noticed it mainly my male friends and the taxi driver while i was just out of store buying it, i rode with him 2 minutes later he said: the perfume u r wearing is really nice. Its a staple in my collection. Sexy and Flirty and that's all what we need.

cocogirl96

I was excited to try this perfume, but it was so mediocre to me. I'm literally annoyed. It opens up generically sweet and then the sweetness disappears and all you are left with is an even more generic perfume scent that disappears quickly. I think we all smelled that generic perfume scent I am talking about. The scent that doesn't have anything particular jumping at you. Nothing sweet or warm or musky or fresh anything. Not even gender specific.

Mind you, I actually like scents that often get called generic like most celebrity perfumes. However, this one just takes the cake. I never tried a perfume so underwhelming. It seems to be just as good as not wearing anything at all. I would not bat an eye at anyone wearing this perfume. This is the third juicy couture perfume I tried and they are all like this. Nothing stands out. I can't even tell them apart. Even celebrity perfumes perform better and have more uniqueness.

I would give this a 5/10. Not bad, but boring.

dvpxo

VLJ Noir reminds me of VS Tease, so much so that I was thoroughly disappointed when I received my bottle in the mail after blind-buying based off of Jeremy Fragrance's raving review. Although VLJ Noir is much brighter and less musky than VS Tease, when first sprayed I virtually cannot tell them apart. I love the notes in this fragrance, and I love how fruity-sweet the scent is, but it does not last with my chemistry whatsoever. I use this as a fresh after shower scent or as a pick me up. I sometimes wear this to work as it is non-offensive although I am disappointed that the scent does not linger. I was expecting compliments left and right with no luck. The bottle does look gorgeous on my dresser though!

courtney2915

I got a really good deal on this perfume on Beauty Brands website and I have heard so many good things about this perfume so I REALLY wanted to love it. Sadly I don't really like it. It's far from awful, but it isn't wonderful either. It is very strong and it lasts a long time so if you like the scent that's a plus. I received many compliments when wearing this. But it gave me a headache. Sadly I am returning this perfume.

ApathyAngel

I liked the idea of white florals, which I love, mixed with fruity sweetness, which I sometimes love.

I was a bit underwhelmed, though, especially with this being the "noir" version. As many others have said, there's nothing noir about this.

That being said, it's not unpleasant. It's the sort of scent I would compliment on someone else (assuming I could smell it. The sillage is beyond soft with no longevity, but according to the votes, this does last longer and project farther on some people).

Fruity and sweet without being juvenile, and I do like the hint of white floral. Not remotely fbw for me, but I can definitely see why it's popular.

Charess

A nice fragrance, which does not smell noir in any way to me.
On one hand, there are the berries, vanilla and caramel, and on the other hand, the white flowers, amber and sandalwood. Gourmand meets oriental/floral. I especially like the gardenia in this, which gives the fragrance something creamy, which is a nice addition to the fruity notes.

Sillge is soft, longevity is about 3-4 hours.

lorna.1

This is so pretty but it really doesn't last on my skin.

I have this gorgeous hit and then nothing. It is such a shame. I would buy it in a heartbeat if it had some staying power but even after an hour my husband has a hard time discerning the fragrance and the response was the same when I asked a few friends and randoms. They should reformulate and make it better!

A stronger and better option is La Nuit Tresor, as this provides more luxurious deeper vibe.

tsukimidumpling

Recently I tested this out. I am super impressed with this one. It takes on a more ,stuff role than the original Viva La Juicy perfume. Usually I don't really care for fruity type of fragrances since they can come out as smelling synthetic (the same can go for floral tbh) but this along with some other perfumes in the Viva La Juicy line are exceptions. I'm actually not sure if this is because my tastes are changing as of late or what but it feels really good to broaden my horizons out a little.

Do I like it enough to get it? Yeah, actually I do. Preferably full sized bottle actually. I don't really know how long it's going to last on me and I also don't know the what the sillage will be in my experience. Nevertheless though, I still plan to get it and use the bottle up. As for ages, well... anyone can wear it, I think. Teenager, young adult, adult, and anything above. This, like many other perfumes I have reviewed really does not have a designated age to wear it.

One thing I will say though regarding age is if you have been using the original Viva La Juicy as a signature scent or just in general and are looking for a upgrade I would strongly recommend this. Because it has some more depth compared to its original counterpart, and thus in my opinion is a pretty big improvement. I enjoy viva la juicy and the playful side the smell has, but this helps separate the line from other lines in the sense the scents are varied and very diverse. Something I genuinely enjoy.

l_dorigo

This is a beautiful fruity-floral. Its more mature, classy and grown up than Viva La Juicy Gold. It smells like fresh red berries and white florals, after a while you also get a hint of caramel. I would wear this all year all day. When I first smelled it I was reminded of the summer season because it is such a fruity and cheerful fragrance.

LizH15

Today I purchased this beaut.
I have the original, Gold and Sucre and now this. I went in to smell it at my local and thought “hmmm it’s really similar to the rest” and they are definitely from the same family. However, after I got it home I smelt Oringinal and Gold and my my my it is actually quite different. I wouldn’t compare the three honestly.
Noir is much more sweet berry cantered. Definitely a recommended for someone looking for a sweet frag that’s not a sugar sweet.

Happy with the purchase and the fact it was down to $70 for a 100ml !!!

simpa256

Compared to the original and Gold Couture, this one is the best out of the bunch. This one has more prominent fruity vibe, wild berries which keep swetness from caramel tamed. Very tamed. The original and Gold had that caramel sweet vibe, very girly, feminine but more on the teenager girl side. This one is more smooth, more mature and darker, richer. It is sweet, but more fruity sweet than sugar caramel. The dry down is better as well where it's more fresher and not simply a sweet candy bomb like Gold and the original. I like that a lot.

If the original and Gold where like 18, then this is their 28 year old sister. I'd say a young mature woman can wear this, from 28 till maybe 40. I love this on my gf. Lasts longer and isn't that much sickeningly sweet, like the sweetness you find in many women's frags. It's why I love this one because women should be just wearing overly sweet frags because they're women. So this one is... perfect for that.

perfumepink2001

It smells great, mature yet young. It lasts a while, you can’t go wrong with it.

criscorbel

Lets wait for this to blow up the price in any store after jeremy fragrance reviews this on his youtube.

Chloe Cherie

Smokiness, berries and caramel. It's sweet, but it's not the type of sweet that you want to taste, because the black smoky feel of it takes that away.

It's the complete opposite of Black Opium, which only smells like vanilla cake with no darkness at all in it.

muahah

Is there rose? I guess no, but first minutes I got association with it. Sweet little black dress. There is something chemically fruity. Vanilla in background. It is good for what it is, but for me annoying. Not sure why, maybe too much sweet. It's sweet, but have fresh feel. For young woman who don't mind to refer to her self as girl or for teenager girl who wants to feel older.

goodnightluck

My least favourite from Juicy Couture. Not sure what it is... but something seems off. There’s a note I really don’t like. Something that smells very artificial. I think it’s the berries. As another reviewer said it’s like this cheap syrup-ey smell. I liked it at first but then ended up selling it. I collect Juicy bottles so I was disappointed to have to let this one go but I just wasn’t using it. I think the mixture of berries, with florals, and then caramel over top just made a very strange pairing. This is definitely a strong fragrance though, and lasts a long time. I would say it’s not appropriate for office wear but really good for evening or going out. It’s definitely a very sensual scent, similar to one of Dior’s poisons, but add caramel to it. I much prefer Juicy Couture Rosé, Gold Couture, or the new Soirée. But try the original plain Juicy Couture before you buy this. You may find the original is better.

schattenreiter

I think I'm hooked on VLJ collection.
It all started with the original, then Gold Couture and now this one. Bought it two weeks after I bought Gold. Can't determine which one is my favourite, but I really love this combination of sweetness and berries. I think this would be my No 1.
Would like to get entire collection, but I'm not sure if others are this good. Either way, bottles are so cute, really girly/feminine and they suit the magical liquid in them.

JAA3

my favorite of the viva la juicy line.

AJ Wolf

was about to get Gold Couture but because it was on sale, the store manager told me to buy the Noir one instead (which wasnt on sale) bcs he said it smells nicer and the sillage is better.

great marketing skill that guy, i fell for it although i wouldve chosen Gold over this. He’s not entirely wrong about Noir though, cs Noir actually lasts a lot longer than the original Viva La Juicy.

And compliments at that. Yes it smells like sugar coated wild berries, not too cloying that it gives u a headache.

Moderate sillage which is perfect for parties, nightclubs where u’ll be close to people (an inoffensive scent). the dry down is sooooo good. somehow i can smell the caramel in this than the original one?

anyways, 9/10. The one point goes to sillage. I prefer my scents stronger.

ihatepatchouli

So sad this just sit on my skin. No sillage at all... I have to sniff very close to my skin to smell the scent. And a bottle cap is a way too loose, must beware when grab the bottle.

PerfuMEOW

Viva la juicy plus dark berries. Sexy, sweet, I love it!

Roxy712

Smells like a mixture of berries and viva la juicey. But this scent does stand out a bit from the rest.

It smells so feminine but soo delicious as well :)

I did a blind buy for a christmas gift for my sister (she's 36) and she loved it so much that its her current signature perfume. When i smelled it off of her I realized I just bought her a real good perfume!

Berries mix with viva la juicey! Now I wear this and original juicey couture quite often. Draws a lot of compliments from men and women.

jayde_x

My favourite of the VLJ line, for two reasons. 1. It's as gorgeous as the original but more intense and a bit more berries and less caramel. 2. The bottle is sooo pretty. The bow looks so extra added on the lid and I love it haha

CandyAlice

I got as a sample from Ulta. I tried this out for a week before writing this review. To be honest, this smells like a watered down VLJ with added berries. Which would be great for those who liked the original but found it too powerful for them, and likes the smell of berries. I found this to last 2-3 hours tops, then it disappears without a trace.

cacemonster

This smells amazing, sweet scent of sugary berries! I love the smell, but unfortunately it does not last more than 2-3 hours on me :( Love the scent so much that I still do not regret the buy :)

chicagogirl

Of all the Viva La Juicy variations, this is my least favorite. The scent is just straight up cheap syrupy berries. It's not nearly as enjoyable as the delicious, decadent creamy original VLJ, Gold Couture or even Sucre. Berry notes are fine if done correctly but even in the original the generic cheap berry notes are my least favorite. In this perfume that note is upped even more and it's nauseating!

juicygrl4lyfe

I am in love with Juicy Noir! I bought this perfume blindly just by reading reviews and such. The original Viva La Juicy has been my signature scent for several years. However after buying Juicy Noir, this is now my signature scent. It is perfect!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Pinksugarplum03

This smells like how Froot Loops taste. Recently bought the 100ML bottle, I love it.
