Worst perfume that I have ever smelled. And that is saying something because I’ve sniffed some questionable ones. This smells like the aftertaste stick in the back of your throat after taking cough syrup.

aegh.98

Honestly, I don't understand the name):
It smells like patchouli with a hint of caramel.

SeaElle

Someone below mentioned cough syrup, and I concur. The sandalwood has a medicinal quality to it, and the patchouli pulls strong on my skin, amplifying that impression. Interestingly I don’t get raspberry, but rather cherry instead? The vanilla feels more like almondy marzipan…it’s just very much a mess on my skin. The opposite of mmm; this is ewww.

clofico

Smells like plastic

Taurien

Despite being considered a perfume similar to Hypnotic Poison, I find it quite different and has got its place in my heart. It has a similar olfactory profile to the Dior in terms of the presence of a powdery vanilla but I like MMMM much more.

Perhaps its predominant note is raspberry, which here is surrounded in a very beautiful way by iris and heliotrope (which give it a powdery touch and some cherry hints), caramel and vanilla, with a sandalwood background that gives the composition an additional personality. As the drydown progresses, the fruity aspects give way to the woody background and the powdery vanilla.

As for a more detailed comparison with Hypnotic Poison, I find MMMM much less powdery and also much more fruity and floral.

It has a moderate to soft sillage and lasts about 8 hours on my skin.

I quite like this perfume, which I feel is sweet and innocent but not generic or simple, and, although in its initial phases the raspberry note can be somewhat garish and, perhaps, even border on cloying, I have surprised myself by thinking if I should buy a full bottle… I might even do it…

I wanted to love this perfume so badly. The initial spray is a delicious, interesting gourmand that is not too sweet or too fruity. Unfortunately, after the dry down, caramel was the only scent that stayed. I do not love caramel scents, so this ultimately ended up being a pass for me.

The lasting power and sillage are perfect. The bottle is beautiful. If you want to try a JHAG perfume and like gourmands, you might like this one.

perfumelover17

Smells like the perfume an off-putting and mysterious girl who you aspire to become would wear, and it's definitely the most underrated out of the line.

Luvnme08

If I can at least get 4 hours out of a fragrance I love then I'm happy! I spray....I love....and poof its a ghost after 30 minutes :-( Unfortunately not worth the full bottle purchase for me.

shelldawg

this smells like the fruity, chewy pieces in a cadburys marvellous creations chocolate bar

BuckeyeBeauty

Literally first sniff of this and I said “mmmmm!!!!!” And then saw the name 🤣🤣🤣 sooooo yummy I wanna wear this to bed every night. Smells like Prada candy gloss to me!

Femkedevos

Sweet raspberry orangeblossom. It reminds me of some type of lemonade i used to drink as a kid. After a while what remains is vanilla powdered sugar.. Its a sweet and comforting scent that is suitable for the office

Roza sharifi

I love this perfume! Its very sexy and feminine. If u like Hypnotic poison or L'interdit rouge, u will love this!

Ismelllikeuniconrs21

This one smells like the colour of the perfume bottle. Reminds me a bit of Lancome's Hypnosis, but this one is more playful and sexy. I can't wait to buy it.

Capricorn89

Don’t know why so many people compare this one to Hypnotic Poison. Personally for me it’s not even closer to it. It’s just a powdery scent. Light and nice. Safe blind but if you like powder. Nothing really groundbreaking. Unfortunately it doesn’t last long and it doesn’t project at all. I like it though. But there are much better options for powdery scents out there.

jasmine27

i fell in love with this scent! it smells like more delicate version of hypnotic poison with some raspberry accord. it’s sexy, but in a girly way. it’s playful and exciting for me to wear.

esotericdecay

a sticky sweet gourmand adjacent floral that’s perfect for transitioning to warm weather. incredibly saccharine with a slightly powdery base. pair with a baby doll pink blush and a luxe body oil

barbieland

sweet, mysterious, and sorta incense-y. this isn’t a perfume i’d fall in love with and want to use forever, but i’m definitely excited to work through my travel-sized bottle for the next couple months! i can’t distinguish the notes too well from each other, all i get is caramel, vanilla, and the patchouli dries down extremely strong on my skin for some reason!

delicateneonkisses

soft and powdery scent however I feel it lacks anything else, i can’t make out any of the notes.. i’m smelling play-dough.

Joan13

Why does this remind me of Vick’s Vaporub? I am glad I only got a travel sized spray and not a full-sized bottle.

eva.daisy.88

This perfume works so well on my skin. I keep smelling my wrists.
It’s a beautiful mixture of vanilla, raspberries, caramel and white flowers. It smells like the most delicious dessert, but also reminds of getting the most relaxing massage at the same time. Very addictive.
If only it would be a bit more concentrated (it sits very close to my skin), or would last longer (within 2 hours it’s completely gone).

Zombie Apocalypse

I wouldn't mind having a teeny tiny bottle or rollerball of this. I can defy find suitable places to wear. However I would not need a full size bottle. I don't like to smell sweet in general.

marietangerine

This is a yummy fun juice. It nods at Dior Hypnotic Poison with the powdery vanilla jasmine and winks at Kilian LDBS with the neroli caramel. The raspberry adds a playful touch. I get the sandalwood. I get zero patchouli.

If this lasted longer than 2 hours on my skin, I would buy a bottle.

wanderstar

if you love kenzo amour you'll love this - it's a more sophisticated less cloying version. on me it's a gorgeous sweet powdery warm vanilla with a hint of floral that dries down to a clean sandalwood neroli base. i don't get any patchouli (thank goodness lol). love it!

astronaut

Oof, not for me. Liked it while trying on paper first, very sweet and girly, a little reminiscent of body wash. Disliked it on my skin: the patchouli (possibly neroli?) note comes off a bit incense-y till it just ends up smelling like cough syrup.

EvaDiva

Kinda smells like dirt but a lil sweet. I like it.

vampihana

it smells nice, and i really wanted to like it but it gives me a headache :(

Laiidee

Top: Neroli, Raspberry and Geranium
Heart: Orange Blossom, Jasmine Sambac, Tuberose and Iris Butter
Base: Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Salicylate

My experience first wear on skin...

Upon Mmmm's opening is a blast of sweet citrus & the fuzziness of the raspberry. It is sweet, fuzzy, & surprisingly juicy. There is some green in there, maybe leaf like. It is soft & adds something very beautiful & fresh to the undertone of the sweet orange blossom & fuzzy, juicy raspberry. The iris is so gorgeous as it enters. I am an iris lover. She can do no wrong, Lol. It has this added powdery sweetness as it blends with the orange blossom. I mean, it is BEAU-TI-FUL. The tuberose is a flirty bubblegum that you can taste. This is interesting because it has a slight creaminess to it too. These sweet, fluffy white florals start to come alive with the added jasmine. She is far from sharp but still adds some height to this sweet, edible treat. This is like the true scent of candy & ice cream shops combining aromas.

The fragrance gets extremely feminine when the iris & tuberose come together. It is such a delicious, soft powdery dream!!! Let us acknowledge the staying power of the opening notes who are indeed still here. You still get this juicy, fuzzy, fruity raspberry & sweet orange blossom twirling together under the gorgeous white florals. This powdery note is more like a sweet puff cloud. It kind of reminds me of those Sanrio marshmallow candies. Not the scent but just how soft & puffy they were. If this fragrance felt like anything, it was like those in your hand. I find it similar to the type of powdery effect Delina Exclusif gives but in a different scent/notes cloud. I mean, the sillage is absolutely gorgeous, flirty, youthful w/o being childish, & edible.

Now, this fragrance takes it time going through its development. You get to enjoy every single note & I love that. As we enter dry down, I get 0 patchouli thus far. I do believe the sandalwood comes & adds this creamy, silky blend to the middle notes as the bottom notes start to peek. I get a stronger almond to my nose that may be a hint dry and dusty, but you don't get it fully because the caramel comes with it. The almond/heliotrope is really adding this thick, creamy, soft texture to the caramel. The vanilla is soft, a bit musky. It is a slightly stronger version of Tihota coming to the front. She isn't boozy or a dark vanilla by far. It is actually quite dainty but not hidden, if that makes sense. It really helps project this caramel note. Like a caramel sauce, cooled, & you're mixing it so this sweet aroma is hovering in the air.

Now, for all my anti patchouli don't stray from this by the notes. I can get a slight peek of patchouli coming in, but it's way to the back. Think of it as a pedestal or holding platter to all these edible notes. You get more of a sweet musk that still hits you with the opening fuzzy, juicy raspberry out the blue. You still get that gorgeous powdery pink bubblegum randomly popping up in your scent bubble. There is this subtle green that adds some brightness to the fragrance that trails hand & hand with subtle sweet orange blossom that stays to the back.

This is a happy, feel-good, pink, feminine, flirty fragrance. I got 6 hours of a good trail before it went to hovering over my skin. When the wind breeze hit me, she said hello every time, even after the 6 hours. I did spray on the back of my hand to see how she held up overnight. It was still this powdery, sweet, flirty gourmand that sat closer to skin by now, but this is 10hrs+. I know everyone's skin, chemistry, & environment varies, but she showed out on me. I got a lot of compliments & enjoyed every time it tickled my nose. Keep in mind that I am testing her in cold, cold weather. I can't wait to try her in Spring/Summer. I just know she will beam off my skin.

motherqueen

This perfume reminds me of Hypnotic Poison by Dior. I thought this was gonna smell different but I do not enjoy it. I just really dislike sandalwood mixed with a powdery smell and vanilla. I will say it does last long and gets a lot of compliments. I think the smell is mature.

LotsofLisa76

I don’t think this even lasted until I left the house for work. It smells good enough, but will def be used to layer with ScandalBN or BonBon or any other of my vanilla, caramel, musks. Luckily I got it a while back at a deep discount.

XOXO_marcel

I don't like this. It's cloyingly sweet and whenever I wear it, it kills my appetite and makes me nauseous. It lasts forever and is very difficult to wash off. However, I get tons of compliments on it, so it seems that other people like it in passing.
Powdery and milky, similar to LouLou by Cacharel.

Projectcensor

As a grown man this is clearly not for me but I still think it’s really interesting and cool. It smells like so many things at once which should be overwhelming but to me it just makes me want to keep smelling it.

Usually I am so sensitive to scents but JHAG seems to formulate the most perfect scent bubbles for my nose, like it’s never clawing and inescapable, more just like you catch whiffs of it and you’re like wow… what is that?!

It smells like a memory I can’t place. It smells like how I imagine women from the past smelled. The dressing room of a burlesque show. Raspberry sauce melting down an ice-cream cone as someone near you is pouring a drink. So cool. So sexy.

LadyIva

I rarely repurchase perfumes, especially after I've used up a full 100ml bottle, because I prefer variety and exploring new fragrant creations. However, there are a few scents for which I am more than happy to make an exception to this rule, and JHAG Mmmm... is one such scent. I can't quite describe why it works so well on me, but it simply does. It's got the right combination of floral, herbal, gourmand and musky notes, which is incredibly beautiful, but never overwhelming. I don't have any issues with its longevity and performance. It's perfect for winter - so fluffy and cosy.

artsyellie

This has been my go to since I got it and I must admit - it was an instant LOVE.
I bought it because the reviews compared it to Hypnotic Poison, which I adore.
I don't see the comparison to be honest. Hypnotic Poison is nuttier, sweeter, more intoxicating imo.
Mmmm... on my skin is ultra juicy and tart raspberry, dusty patchouli, equally dusty vanilla, creamy heliotrope, orange blossom and a distant whisper of caramel. There is a quality of vintage makeup smell, but it's not unpleasant or a turn off.

It's super interesting and has contradictory elements in it, it gets noticed when I wear it and it's extremely well suited for me.
The longevity is not the greatest, but stays on clothes for longer.

OudLaLa

This was my go-to for a long time. But I've had a bottle of this sitting around for a while and it no longer smells gourmand-y anymore, all I can smell is heliotrope and musk. But its not bad as it ages just, not gourmand anymore. All I can smell is sweet powdery floral dirt. Again - not a bad thing!

yelrog

I have never had a scent revolt me so much. I understand strong florals even though they aren’t for me, I understand laundry scents even if they aren't my jam, but this? NASTY. FOUL. Smells like flat root beer that got a skin of moldy sugar on the top. Actually genuinely gave me a headache and I had to take a shower to get it off me. I returned it immediately. Not for me, and I genuinely don’t know who it’s for. I was shocked at how much I hated it because all the notes are in most of the scents I own. The exception being: neroli. I wonder if I’m just repulsed by neroli, but whatever it is, this fragrance is an abomination to me.

XristinaC

It was a cool day (max 18°C). I got bored with this after 30 minutes of barely smelling something vaguely fruity, and put REM by Ariana Grande over the top. Surprisingly it worked. But sadly this house in general doesn't work for my skin chemistry. It's a very "American" cultural scent profile, to my nose. Fruity and synthetic seems to be a cultural scent association I have from my travels there.

Edit: a few people have said it smells like root beer. This must be why I think it smells "American". It also smells like the generic candles you can buy in Rite Aid or whatever.

patimbam

as a fan of Hypnotic Poison I was very interested in this (I also love a few of JHAG fragrances), but I for sure prefer Dior than this. Mmm... Not pleasant dusty notes. Also, performance is much weaker than HP.

Astaria_Rex

Tried this after obsessing over another bottle of Hypnotic Poison. I was at Dillard's yesterday to purchase my MAC Stack, and thought, why not? The JHAG display was underwhelming, and so was the bottle. The sales point and design of the bottles are maybe a little too modern for me, they lack personality. Sprayed one spray each on my shirt collar and wrists. I couldn't smell it after two hours, and honestly forgot about it until this morning. As of today, it has smoldered down into a vague spicy/floral/bitter vanilla. Nothing like the opening spray. At opening it was very similar to Dior's HP, but with more of a sharp edge, slightly masculine. No creamy almond. I love HP because of the Playdough note. JHAG's Mmmm has almost no distinguishable Playdough. The day after it is not sweet anymore, very flat. One dimensional fragrance. You could mix Speed Stick deodorant and Jergins body lotion and get the same smell. Sad. I feel that it is a nice and generic scent, but nothing I am going to shell out a C note for. I'll be passing on purchasing this one. JHAG seems like a house that is not for me, as everything they have offered so far has not struck me as unique or exciting.

Krstnd

This would be absolutely amazing and a complete love.....if only it performed better. Sadly, the sillage and longevity are very poor on me.

anneymn

It’s smells like it could be a raspberry flanker of hypnotic poison. It’s creamy raspberry, and the creaminess reminds me of the same type of creaminess in hypnotic poison, they both have a vintage quality about them, ‘Mmm…’ is softer. I don’t get play-dough from fragrances, not from this or others. The raspberry fades and it’s becomes mostly a creamy vanilla scent.

Razorbrown

Starts off kinda nice but dries down to a very vintage, masculine cologne. Nothing from this brand smells high quality to me.

ldbslover

may i add, there’s something strangely medicinal about this..

ldbslover

sharp.. synthetic patchouli with a mishmash of tuberose and gourmand notes that creates a screechy mess.

l’interdit without any sort of bubblegum-quality.

LilyRose93

Creamy raspberry. Very sweet gourmand. Might be too much for some.I love gourmand but this is almost borderline too much, but I find it perfect for very cold, crisp weather. Yummy.

aeterna

I might get downvoted for this, but it smells like sickly sweet cheap Eastern European toilet freshener to me.

crimsy

ugh it's so good. wore it to my dance yesterday and got tons of compliments. however i did do the vaseline on pulse points trick so that probably helped. it's giving like gourmand raspberry but like a perfect balance between both as you smell it. and also has just the perfect amount of floral scent to balance it out. more leaning towards a winter scent but it could become spring or summer scent if you layer it right! not for fall tho :)

Tolaaz

This perfume smells very strongly like mould to me in the opening. When it dries down it still smells a bit like mould with a mix of play-doh. Thankfully I just got a 2 ml. Tester.

Yolis

Raspberry, orange blossom, sandalwood, vanilla, and caramel combined somehow makes a playdoh/marzipan, creamy cosmetic/lipstick, swedish fish and slight cough syrup just like other reviewers have noted. On me it smells as if lipstick was raspberry marzipan scented/flavored IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. It smells powderier / more medicinal on my skin than my clothes, it just smells nice and soft wafting when I move around. Kind of as if my clothes have a soft fruity fresh scented laundry detergent.

Honestly, this scent could easily be passed up on, I'll use my travel size on my clothes on a light scent day and won't repurchase when I'm done.

EDIT: okay I remember why I went for the travel size after spraying this on me in store, the wafts form your clothing as you move around ARE really nice. I don't know how to describe it but clean and pretty and fresh. 2/3 hours in the medicinal/cough syrup goes away and its a beautiful soft powdery candy.

Cooler_Butter

Summary: I think this smells like Swedish fish candy and maraschino cherry in a splash of whiskey.

I'd say the top notes are really strong in this perfume. Combined with the base notes, the raspberry doesn't quite smell like raspberry - it's muskier/deeper if that makes sense. The middle notes and vanilla and other florals are kind of drowned out by the stronger scents - overall sweet, sandalwood, and musk. Personally, the geranium is really strong which makes for a really warm slightly spicy accord to me. The middle notes are present at first, but then fade, leaving a more sweet/gourmand, powdery, musky smell. The sweet + warm spicy notes kind of smell boozy, and the fruity-floral + powdery make it smell like cherry candy.

xomabelcorn

This smells a little too close to vic’s vaporub

Fragaddict123

A gorgeous gourmand that centers around vanilla
Sharing the other notes all around it
It’s a fragrance mostly for gourmand lovers
You smell some kind a cake
Performance was great and projection was ok
I enjoyed it but not enough to add to my collection one other note it leans feminine for my taste
A good scent but nothing groundbreaking or special

cagegirl

smells like a kindergarten teacher, like playdoh and crayons lol. there are a few notes that i like but overall it smells pretty bad. not worth it :0

parsnip9

This, for whatever reason, broke me out of my hatred for gourmand frags. Opens with bubbly root beer float. It stays caramelly for a while then dries down light and floral. The longevity isn't great, so that whole process only takes about three hours. I think it being subtle and short-lived is part of why it works for me as someone who gets nauseated by strong foodie scents. It's creamy and soft and makes me happy.

Kimmie96

Well, I’ve had it for a while now. I thought people were joking when they stated it’s does not last long, it really doesn’t. I’m disappointed as I absolutely love this fragrance but the last you will smell of it is right after you spray it on. I am not going to be rushing for it once the bottle i have is finished. It has actually made me second guess all other JHAG fragrances I love in terms of longevity.

JemmaBella

I wanted to love this, however it reminds me so much of Joop! Homme, every time I wear this I just can’t stop smelling Joop! This doesn’t smell as expensive as it costs and honestly I’m disappointed.

Perpetual Collector

I love this. It has a huge similarity with HP, but they are far from being identical. There is a certain depth and class to HP, that M.....just does not have, but in turn, that makes it a tad more wearable. It opens very boozy and medicinal, I see why some may not like it. In the opening it reminds me of Madonna's Truth or Dare Naked, but only for a little while. Settles into sweet, boozy caramel. I just love it. And the bottle is to die for!
What I am not in love with is a name though, it can get pretty weird pretty fast, someone asking what are you wearing today. Do you act crazy and mumble "mmmmmmm", or you just go " EM EM EM EM- THREE DOTS"? I guess it depends on who is asking!🫢

CasualP

Utterly delicious gentle soft creamy vanilla custard marshmallow caramel with a soft touch of raspberry balanced by a clean refined sandalwood base. Well blended and balanced, a cloud-like aura rather than a bold fragrance. Amps up well with Super Dose or Nemat Amber, but works equally well on its own. Sweet but elegant and refined. Those on the hunt for the “ultimate marshmallow vanilla” might find a gem in Mmmmmm, I certainly did. Dessert-like, without smelling cheap or food-like. Shades of Hypnotic Poison (which I own and love) but less sharp edges. This is all softness and fluffy delicious sweet candy lipstick sweet happiness without being immature. Immediate love.

BlackberryCollins53

This is a scrumptious cranberry cocktail in a bougie coup glass during your company’s holiday party! I also get the play-doh in the beginning and I understand how some smell medicine. For me this is a well balanced raspberry floral that wraps up nice and warm with musk and caramel!

BD2-5-0

Love the sweet fruity and slightly floral opening which quickly becomes like red liquorice. Sadly the dry down on my skin reminds me of play-doh. Good longevity and projection compared with other JHAG fragrances. This is my favourite from the discovery kit along with Moscow mule but I just wish the dry down wasn’t so unpleasant. Definitely leans feminine and its very sexy for about an hour.

This might be for you but its not for me!

juliadol

I definitely like this, but it doesn't lean fruity on me. It gives more of a creamy cosmetic vibe, I think I have had lipsticks that smell like this. Sometimes it even pulled a bit of play-doh vibes.

I went shopping for a few hours and the scent did not last the trip but I also did not spray much in case I wasn't a fan (testing a sample).

Romarosa

Sublime perfume.

A 100ml bottle offered to me as a gift and I’m so glad.

Opens with a blast of sweet chilled raspberries, with a dollop of chantilly cream. There is something in this perfume that is magical to me, that undefinable creamy and sweet plastic smell from the Cupcake dolls from the 90s (remember them? I had the blueberry one). This is going to sound surprising, but it's that same creamy, ethereal doll smell (I’m guessing this is tuberose, vanilla and sandlewood combination ?) that I loved in Hermès' Twilly. Unfortunately for me, Twilly vanishes entirely as soon as it is sprayed on to my skin. With Mmmm..., it stays ! Although it's not mentioned in the notes, I'm also picking up on some liquorice, the note that I think is being described by others here as root beer (an American product ?). The white flowers and caramel is also a fantastic success. This liquorice, musky, irisy scent reminds me a bit of the original Lolita Lempicka, which I adored, but this is much less imposing perfume and definitely more suitable for public transport and offices. I can see why some people compare this to HP, but for me it’s an entirely different animal: something frolicking, free, fantastical and flirty rather than dangerous and seductive. I wore this for the first time at work today, sprayed it at 8:50am and, even though it’s certainly not the strongest or longest-lasting perfume, at 7pm I still got a faint and delicious whisper of something sugary on my wrist. During the mid-morning I occasionally got wafts of sugared almonds and marshmallows.

A sugary, creamy, bliss bomb for adults, a gourmand lover’s dream.

Positive opinion seconded by my partner who has zero interest in perfume, who dislikes most of what I put on, and who just said, as I sprayed Mmmm on to my wrist to write this review “that perfume smells so good!”.

RottigrlNYC

There is no way all of the ingredients that’s shown, are in this perfume. This is a synthetic and weak perfume. I see by all the mixed reviews that it smells different on some ppl. On me it’s just nasty. Like a mildly sweet baby powder.
But then it’s gone so it’s all good . I’m glad I only have a 8ml decant which I got as a gwp. This is why I don’t like this perfumer, everything they put out is weak, very synthetic or it has no scent. I urge ppl to sample any perfume from this brand, before you buy . After sampling them all, I only bought two . Moondance and Vengeance Extreme. Moondance is one of their vintage perfumes, it’s actually very nice. I don’t know why the house went down afterwards. VE I bought as a gift but for some reason I kept it. I never wear it. I have hundreds of much better perfumes.

lovenoteee

just got a sample of it, straight up chlorine. im not sure if i love it or hate it, would smell nice on somebody tho but its not for me

Laurenscent

Smells like root beer to me. I don’t get the florals or musk. Nor the raspberry. Just root-beery sweetness. It lasts a like longer than most JHAG perfumes, but still lacks the projection I’m looking for. JHAG is my favorite perfume house; I just wish they had better longevity and sillage.

Claugregg

You are wearing a chic dress and some heels. You drink a whiskey, while listening to jazz music. You finish your whiskey and you're getting ready to go home. It's a snowy night, the sky is dark and cloudy but the snow sparkles brightly, makes it easier for you to see clearly. It is quite cold and the only thing you can smell is the mix of your lipstick, a floral perfume, the boozy drink you had and crumbles of a raspberry cake on your dress. This is a strange combination that works for me...

cherrydays

smells exactly like l'interdit rouge, just less spicy.

Ch3rrybomb

at first it smells like cough syrup but let it dry down……..BOOM it smells like a more powdery hypnotic poison

Tatiana130802

Smells like the Autumn/Winter version of Oriana to me. I absolutely love it

stinkysmellysurly

I don't like this perfume. Very medicinal and alcoholy, and all together unpleasant.

Cherry_Darling

Not getting medicine or raspberry, but more of a marshmallow, super dense without being actually sweet if that makes sense, maybe nougatty kind of smell. Dense, thick, feels like biting into a chewy thick marshmallow. I can definitely enjoy this for a while but I did grow tired of the smell after a few hours. I think it's a mood you have to be in, and stay in, otherwise you will get a touch nautious.

rikadana

I hate this so much. My immediate reaction was -"Oml this smells like sickening cough medicine". Absolutely horrendous with my body chemistry unfortunately. Literally makes me nauseous.

Kimmie96

Look, I love this fragrance but there is something synthetic about it. I cannot put my hand on it but I smell it. Definitely works better if it works with your skin’s chemical because I feel it was made for me☺️🤭.
For people who say it smells similar to HP by Dior, as someone who has had both Dior HP and the HP Eau Secrete, this smells too similar to the Eau Secrete that the original HP. I don’t think Eau Sensuelle is too far off but it definitely gives off Eau Secrete by Dior.

Anaidianaortigas

it’s such a comfy smell, i absolutely adore it. but i get it, that it might not be for everyone since it’s really sweet

Leather&pearls

The scent alone is a 10/10 for me! This is a powdery raspberry with depth and a slight marzipan finish. The only reason I gave it up was the lasting power and sillage were terrible! I had to practically drown myself in it as if it were a body spray to get any sort of scent bubble. Such a shame! I wish JHAG perfumes preformed better because the scents are amazing!

machinepanic

I tried a sample in the spring and while I thoroughly enjoyed the sweetness and that memory of the little kids' perfumes that you'd get at department stores in the early noughties, I kind of... forgot about it. That is, until I decided to spritz a little on a whim tonight, and got a super antiseptic, medicinal overtone. Maybe it's the changing seasons? It feels like a flower+fruit arrangement you'd bring to your favorite sexy doctor who wears fishnets under her white coat. It even has me considering going for a full bottle.

briannadedrew

Looking to sell my bottle to a resident in Ontario, Canada! Message if interested :)

jenniart1819

This smells like a perfume my mom wore in the 90’s, brings me nice memories of going to family parties and my mom spraying this as her going out scent.
Not for me though, it’s just smells very dated even though I’m in my 40’s.

QueOndaGuera

Oof no. There’s something very cloying and synthetic in this fragrance, it’s too much going on at once. Initial spray was strong and sweet but in a sickly sweet way. Dry down was still weirdly synthetic and the sweetness grossed me out a bit. I love sweet scents but this is not it. Passed it off to my parent.

sabertooth_salem

Smells like vanilla ice cream with warm caramel and crushed fruity pebbles on top, sitting on the table next to a huge white floral bouquet (or maybe just a white floral scented Glade plug-in).

This one has me conflicted. The florals can definitely be a bit cloying and are extremely synthetic. On the other hand, I like how many of the notes I can detect-- sweet, musky, floral, a little bit fruity. I'm not sure what this fragrance is trying to be exactly.

GUADELUPA

It's a beautiful, sweety scent similar to Hypnotic Poison EDT Dior. Berry and fruity notes are clearly prevail here with caramel and delicate vanilla at the background. Too much powder as well. I can smell no flowers, but it's fine for me even without them. Longevity and sillage is good enough - the most part of the day on my clothes. But it should be applied no more than two or three sprays, since it develops very quickly and densely. So, the right dosage is crucial. Good equivalent to Hypnotic Poison!

assoula17

Cloying jasmine and neroli with a little powder. Projection and silage are non-existent, almost as if you are spraying water. I don’t get the hypnotic poison resemblance at all. And if I’ll agree that it MIGHT resemble JPG Scandal Le parfum then it would only be for the jasmine there, which is not the dominating scent in Scandal thankfully.

unwrappedsonnyangel

It's so wonderfully medicinal, a hospital scent in the sweetest way possible. I don't know if it's the neroli or the geranium that makes it smell that way. But you could go to your nearest drugstore and get a bottle of Sarna anti-itch lotion, the same scent for 12 dollars. Your pick.

mjmxo

This scent has me conflicted! First impression honestly made me a little sick - reminded of Robitussin cough syrup. Way too sweet & chemically fruity. HOWEVER, the dry down is absolutely amazing! Once the heavy gourmands fade away, you’re left with this soft sandalwood and creamy vanilla/almond earthiness. Yummy goodness with an edge. Just have to get past the first hour…

rosewoodoud555

I LOVE this scent. This is my perfect gourmand scent: soft, with caramel, vanilla, and musk. There's a bit of fruitiness in this too. It makes me go MMMM... whenever I smell it. So yummy and delicious and I think it's the perfect date scent. But it can be polarizing, one person said it smelled like chocolates, while another said it smelled like root beer. Either way, it smells edible. I wear beast mode frags a lot, because I love unisex scents that are sweet with oud and heavy florals the most, so the performance was the lacklustre part for me. Can't be blamed, because to make the frag so realistically edible and soft, it just has a tiny smidge of sandalwood to hold it down. Projection is average when I overspray (20 sprays). Will see how the longevity is, but I'd totally buy a heavier version/extrait of this cuz it's so delightful.

Edit: Projection is abysmal. Turns into skin scent around 2.5hours in. So sad as it's a great scent

Another edit: Layered this with JHAG Lust for Sun and a girl at the beach raved about how good I smell! We became friends and now I'll always have good memories with this scent❤️

ranch

I had a sample of this and used it today...on my skin it’s giving an expensive doctors office? A coworker said I smelled like Carmex so there’s that. I do enjoy the smell of Carmex but I don’t want to smell like it. So I don’t HATE this but it’s not for me!

Kuty22

I had to let this one go.
I've sprayed it for testing but truth be told never wore it.
I prefer JPG's Scandal le Parfum and that's what I'm going to buy instead.

Whateverwhocares

Cloyingly sweet, powdery, buttery vanilla with raspberries and red florals. Overly synthetic. Cool profile. Poorly executed on an uncalled for woody, patchouli base that does not compliment the raspberry note. Could use a touch of subtlety and harmony. Swings femme.

kittenpawz

Recently I discovered that my least favorite combination of notes is tuberose + jasmine sambac + patchouli. To my nose it always smells like a bad body odor and various bodily fluids, and it's always very loud and headache inducing (L'Interdit being a prime example) but Mmmm is more tender and definitely not an in-your-face type of fragrance. If patchouli perfumes smell dirty to you, this one has a high chance of not becoming an exception. Whereas L'Interdit seemed vulgar and screechy, Mmmm is just quietly unpleasant. Unidentifiable sweetness of the top notes wears off quickly, and what's left is linear dirty-ish tuberose. I was hoping it would take the same direction as Bonbon with four whole notes in common and sweet-fruity-caramel accords, but it's more of shy and polite L'Interdit. If you want more raspberry check out So Scandal by Gaultier, it also shares four (out of five) notes with Mmmm but smells much better, albeit just as linear and monotone. Where I live Juliette costs almost as much as Dior and while the Poison line it's being compared to knows how to entice, Mmmm doesn't dare to lean either way and lacks any personality. Very disappointing for the price it demands.

luanneog

Powdery, white flowers, sweet, clean and delicate. It smelled like a grandma perfume in a way. It also reminded me of the smell of a nursery or a baby store. It had a scent reminscent of makeup, kind of like the brand Maja. It smelled natural at first but synthetic and dirty by the end. I feel like all of JHAG perfumes smell sort of like plastic.

Naehannje

This fragrance is very odd! And hard to explain. It’s something I’d want to spray on me after I get done showering. I wouldn’t wear this out though. Idk why it smells like an expensive hospital lol. I like it, but I don’t think most will like this fragrance,
.

AlyssaBrindley

I have come to realize, at-least for me personally..that the “Mmm…” is more of a sigh of relaxation than a fragrance that signifies anything edible. I am not getting raspberries, I’m not getting caramel or any food-eat type scent from this. Instead I’m getting an incredibly relaxing fragrance that I am finding hard to describe. It’s very creamy, smooth, buttery almost but in a non edible way. I have over 100 perfumes (most in sample sizes) and none of them smell like this. This is one of those fragrances that I don’t think you can overspray. It’s definitely a skin scent on me compared to more of the beast mode fragrances I have. I have only a sample of this.. going to use that and see if it’s full bottle worthy. Only thing stopping me is I don’t feel others would be able to smell this on me.

jmarie92

“Mmmm” is right. I don’t know why I waited so long to give this little gem a try, but I’m so glad I did!

This is a powder dusted gourmand with sophistication. It’s creamy, powdery, a little woodsy. I don’t get a distinct raspberry not, more so a sort of whisper of something fruity in the background, but that’s totally ok with me. There’s something so intoxicating about this scent. Sure, it does have that faint “play doh” note that a lot of people compare to HP, but it’s so much more wearable and not at all cloying here.

I’m loving this, and I think it plays well with warmer weather too, which isn’t always the case with a thick, sweet gourmand.

BandWeaver

This is lovely! I bought a bottle. Like many other reviewers before me, it does remind me of Hypnotic Poison - almondy sweet and addictive. It is made unique by the raspberry note, something slightly medicinal (geranium?), and a sexy patchouli.

I am NOT thrilled with the crap longevity at this price point. I only get a couple of hours of wear from this fragrance. I've never been one to experiment with layering, but i was gifted a big bottle of Chanel Allure and found that the drydown on me is one rich sweet smooth note. Mmmm layers over Allure's drydown beautifully, and the longevity is greatly enhanced.

This is one I'll continue using and buying.

Markja

Im a man’s man and admit I’m addicted to fragrance, I sampled this and just loved it so much I bought it for my 13 year old daughter just so I could use it lol ,, true story.
Yip it’s sweet and synthetic but I love it, my daughter doesn’t seem to use it wooo hooo

kitkatya

missed the mark for me, as most JHAG does.

powdery synthetic almond. mingles with a thick, creamy vanilla and dries down to something ... boring, one-note. "oh... that's it?" not play doh but not marzipan either. alcoholic, but not amaretto, just synthetic. i get no caramel or tuberose, and the raspberry is surprisingly unexciting.

Saffron pink

This is caramel marzipan with raspberry’s and vanilla. It’s so addictive.
Love.

CorgiQueen

This is exactly like Far Away from Avon. Far away is half the price.

Blizzie99

This is headache inducing, it’s soo strong. When I first spray it all I get is powder and a little patchouli. When it dries I get the florals but it doesn’t smell good to me. I was hoping to smell some vanilla and caramel but I don’t get that at all.

bffeash_13

MMMMkay. Nah.

I really wanted to like this one bc it has notes that i love. However in Mmm... the notes just seem so confused and haphazard that it just ends up smelling like a jumbled, sweet, powdery, almost medicinal mess. This was a blind buy so im extra disappointed about it because its also now a waste of money.

qianqian

Quite strong industrial artificial vanilla to me. The drydown gets greener but it still fails to please me.

akibekal89

this perfume is so powdery and also creamy
but i also can smell like erthy smell and it little stronger
but this is no smell like hypnothic poison
definitely not same at all
just the almond note that DHP has make this little simillar.
and that all

Kirsty140

Absolute love! This lasts forever on me and has good projection. I get lots of compliments. I don't get the play doh smell but agree with the root beer float description...creamy and powdery.

Patchy_baby

More powdery than creamy. The almond and vanilla notes tend to overpower the rest, but I get tiny hints of raspberry

meadhbh

I get no raspberry from this at all. I really think that tuberose is just not a note that agrees with me, I find it so incredibly overpowering - after the first 20 minutes this smells very white floral to me

glennacoca

Love this one! I liked Hypnotic Poison but my husband wasn’t a fan. Got a sample of JHAG mmm… and he loves it on me. It’s very sweet and playful and delicate, not overpowering. I don’t get any of the dry/powdery notes some people mention. I love this one, it’s definitely in my rotation for daily wear.

FruityPatchouli

I don’t usually like gourmands, but this is so comforting. I crave it when I’m sad or when it’s cold and rainy outside. It’s not syrupy sweet or cakey sweet. Yummy raspberry at the top, but that goes away after about 20 min and I’m left with just a soothing, creamy, vanilla/caramel/sandalwood reminiscent of Hypnotic Poison, but not as strong and lacking the play doh smell. Happy to have it in my collection!

Utopia76

At first, when I tested it, I liked it. 30 minutes later it started to annoy me, while the scent didn’t change at all, but it became cloying peppery… I had to scrub it off.

Peaches77

I don’t really smell the raspberries, it’s mostly citrus and musk. Not really my thing. Also kinda powdery.

Top notes are Raspberry, Geranium and Neroli; middle notes are Tuberose, Iris, Orange Blossom and Jasmine Sambac; base notes are Vanilla, Caramel, Sandalwood, Heliotrope, White Musk and Patchouli.

Melaniesherriff

I feel this perfume has been inspired by an older fragrance from the 90s revlon unforgettable. Very few modern day perfumes have this beautiful quality to them. I wore revlon unforgettable daily for years and my nose remembers. JHAG mmmm... is beautiful. Seems arms length sillage and I would say the longevity depends on your amounts of sprays

paranoka

Sampled this in store, smelled like sweet fruity play-doh.

Princessy

Almost identical to Hypnotic Poison EDT but a little bit lighter

Ececanga

Sadly there is nothing "Mmmm..." about this fragrance. I barely pick the notes, it smells like a dusty makeup bag with some Hypnotic Poison spilled in it. Mmmm... looks like a cinnamon roll but could kill you with headache. It is not fully detectable on skin but in air you can smell the messy powdery cloud around you. If you are into HP, then this fragrance is a maybe but, not for me obviously.

Elektra17

Got a sample from Sephora but I don't think I'll be purchasing a bottle. I'm a huge fan of Not a Perfume, and I do like this one, but don't NEED it. It is subtle and has some playful, sweet notes while maintaining some of the DNA of Not a Perfume. It has that barely there scent, although I do think it is more noticeable given the floral and fruity qualities. If I want a feminine sweet scent, there are other perfumes I would reach for first.

It doesn't wear very long. Maybe a couple hours, but it mellows out so much that it's barely noticeable around the two hour mark.

I see it's listed as a unisex fragrance, but it seems very feminine to me. Of course anyone can wear it, but it does not have a characteristic masculine smell at all.

Ryanjkim

Smelt this on one of my girl friends and it smelled sweet, frothy. But def gives headaches.

WhiteFlowerPrincess

To me, this just smells like nauseating cough syrup! It's so sickly sweet and medicinal. I coughed heavily when I first smelt the 2ml sample I was given with my Clive Christian purchase at Libertine Perfumerie.

I can smell the raspberry first and foremost and then the vanilla, the caramel and an almond-like note, which I'm guessing is the heliotrope fantasy note in this? I then get a hint of the patchouli too, which I'm seriously not a fan of.

I'm guessing the sales lady gave me a sample of this because it has white flowers in it, which I love? Well this is most definitely NOT white floral. Whatever white flowers that are in this have been drowned out by the monstrous and sticky sweetness of this perfume... It's like a perfume for little girls and teenagers!

blueberrygraveyards

very powdery and upon the perfume's drydown on my skin, i felt that the raspberry note was very pronounced and that the overall scent could almost be compared to playdough. im not sure if im a big fan of the artificial fruitiness however i will try another spray some time soon to solidify my thoughts on it ✩°。

Aurorah97

This is really, really sweet. I don't pick up much besides the sweet and it's also really strong lol.

menmen

I got a 10ml sample today, thought I'd share my inital thoughts on this. It's nice but it's not as strong as I thought it would be, I thought it would perform just a little better. Opening is very floral but not obnoxiously so, it's a very soft kind of powder floral. I don't get too much of the raspberry, maybe just a little bit of sourness. It's very pretty but really isn't all that sweet, reminds me a little bit of an unsweetened version of yes I am. I'll have to wear it our to form my final thoughts and I'll be back to update.
EDIT: I'm back to update this cutie. I wore her to a job interview since I consider her very classy and really not in your face fragrance. I'm glad I did because I was running late so in my sweaty speed walking state I was actually grateful I didn't have a beastly fragrance on me that would've suffocated me. The more I wear this the more I enjoy it. The other I didn't detect the raspberry now I definitely get something more creamy like raspberry ice-cream plus the velvety feeling from the powder. If I had one word to describe this fragrance it would probably be - 🌹𝓡𝓸𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓬🌹
I will be investing in a full bottle because I think in has signature potencial.

fairymeist

This is hypnotic poison but way better and more wearable, I think because of the fruity note. Hypnotic can be too much and too heavy like milky sweet sickening while this one has some notes that balance it and make it a bit more bright.

That being said, this is not for everyone and you can get easily overwhelmed if you spray too much, just start with two sprays and then see how it goes from there. (Luckily the sprayer is amazing and gradual just like the Kayali ones)

faeriepatisserie

This is very floral on me. I was expecting something a bit sweeter based on some of the reviews and the name itself. There's a hint of raspberry, but the florals really take over.

Not bad necessarily, just not for me.

SaltyVanilla

There is something about the JHAG raspberry notes, I seem to be completely anosmic to them because I can’t pick them up in this one or in Lipstick Fever. Regardless, this is not my usual style of scent but it’s nice, I’m surprisingly into it. The overall impression is that of a sweet almond scented playdough. This feels like a thick type of dough like texture you could manipulate in your hand with a strong almond character, like playdough, shortbread dough, or marzipan. I can definitely pick out the neroli and geranium at initial blast which then dies down into the Iris, neroli, tuberose thing and throughout the whole thing the heliotrope is strong giving that almond characteristic that is so prominent. I also get the caramel and vanilla throughout. After a number of hours some of those florals and the caramel cool down but you are still getting an almond-vanilla with a slight touch of a chocolate cake like patchouli. I don’t think this is entirely gourmand because it does have that playdough quality, it smells so good but you just know if you bite into it it’s going to taste awful. Overall a really interesting scent; sweet, thick, almondy, powdery, playdough. This is more of a cool weather scent, I could see this becoming cloying in high heat.

Anitanita.

Gorgeous, Hypnotic poison mix with Britney spears . I will buy it for sure as I really like it. Not really long lasting but sweet and super girly 😍

BisiLovesYou

I really love this perfume. My love L’absolu by Narcisso Rodriguez was discontinued and I spent two years trying to get a replacement for it. So grateful to the lady at Sephora who referred Mmmm to me. I’m a happy girl once again. 💌

vanillaflower4

This is a very sharp and dirty version of Hypnotic Poison, the patchouli in the dry down is so yucky but I'd hate patchouli in any other perfume anyway. It's just very prominent here

silverlocusts

Mmmm... is a softer, more feminine version of Not a Perfume for sure. JHAG will douse anything in ambroxan if you let them, and here the mix of sweet berries and soft florals compliments ambroxan very well. There's some thoughtfulness to the blend that I don't think the brand's newer fragrances really have. The vibrant red bottle actually fits with the scent really nicely in my opinion. JHAG perfumes are great if you want to seem edgy but also not offend anyone (since half of the people around you likely won't be able to smell one of the major components anyway!) Perfect for daytime, and for sure a compliment getter, this is an easy perfume to wear even if it is not particularly super dynamic or challenging. Buy this for your niece who is graduating high school or gift a rollerball to your bridal party. It would be shocking to me if the majority of people hated this on their skin.

joikgirl

First hit raspberry, then it starts to go into the neroli and tuberose/jasmine/blossom and dries down into creamy vanilla and patchouli and FINALLY some caramel. A perfect gourmand and fresh smell. Just lovely :)

triscuittracfone

Opens with pure artificial fruit candy smell, dries down into a sultry sweet warmth that I enjoyed for a short time, then had to wash it off because it was overwhelming.
Not a bad perfume, smells wonderful, but not my cup of tea.

scentualmango

Unfortunately on my skin, mmmm… became uhn uhn. I had a vial for the longest and got a spray sample recently. On me this distinctly smells like vix vapor rub. It’s completely medicinal, which I’m attributing to raspberry & the patchouli (which must be composed within the opening as well). It dries down after hours to a powdery heliotrope & patchouli. This one was heartbreaking, I really wanted to love it!

Kizzyb93

I used to really like this until I was pregnant with my youngest and all of a sudden I go a rubbery type smell and everything went downhill with this

ykarnavusha

I fell in love with this perfume, then for some reason I decided to buy Hypnotic Poison cause it seemed they smell the same. It was a mistake. Hypnotic Poison is a night version of Mmmm. I love both, but Mmmm is just lighter and more suitable for gym/office/airport activities.

LuckyMommy

On my skin the heliotrope, vanilla, sandalwood and carmel really stands out. The florals are in the background with and the musk, patchouli and raspberry nearly detectable at all.
It's soft, sweet, powdery with that almondy scent shining through, most likely from the heliotrope.
I like it and it will be fun to test i trough all the season of the year, right now I think it's the most wearable in the fall and winter.

luckywyn

Received a travel size as a holiday gift, and I am SO glad I didn't purchase this myself. It smells like wet shampooed dog on me, and I had to immediately scrub it off. Gave it away to a friend who enjoyed it.

Sad, because I really liked this one on paper, but not on me.

yeesa_

I wanted to like this one its fruity and powdery but I cant get passed the play doughy smell I get from this. Its a big turn off for me. Also doesn't seem to project or last more than 2 hours

DearAlexabell

I always saw a lot of hyper over the brand and after smelling them all none of them stood out to me, they're all just ok/meh feminine scents. Very sweet, very floral. Overhyped... there's other brands I feel that are more unique and memorable with similar core scents. I'd pass.

easylistening

The most gorgeous scent I own. Opens with a beautiful raspberry note and dries down to a creamy, woody, playdoh-y vanilla. Like a prettier hypnotic poison. Only lasts 2-3 hours on me and leaves a weak scent trail, so I'll be sticking with HP.

Tooturntt

Beautiful powdery lipstick scent with a kiss if raspberries. Stunning scent with horrible performance.

AllisonNW

I swear every time I wear this it smells a little different. I love the raspberry play-doh vibe that generally exists for me, but today I am getting major Cacharel LouLou vibes!

MamaMia4

upon initial spray, I thought this was going to be sweet and gourmand-y because of the name, ‘Mmm.’ I literally said “Hmmmm…🤯” after spraying for the first time. It’s SO INTERESTING IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. The first notes that I smell right after spraying are not sweet. It was spicy and earthy. I love patchouli and I get it right at the opening and when it dries down. I can see this being my signature scent. It’s has a decent staying power and skin and last a few days on clothes. The sweetness of this perfume develops so beautifully. The vibes this perfume gives me is the sun and rain when they happen simultaneously.

violeteme

Very watered down Hypnotic Poison. Flat and lacks vividness.

jeremeryfragrance

mmmmmmmm... it’s definitely an mmmmm. i like it though. smh.

fluoride

Disappeared right away. Smells like jasmine and Dr. Pepper.

Air of Grace

Gifted a sample and thought I would try it on the fragrance paper strip as it’s not in my preferred fragrance group .

I don’t get Hypnotic Poison but I can see why it’s mentioned as similar . Just the almond , vanilla notes .

It’s an alright scent , nothing outstanding but non offensive .

femmefumes

It's unique but it's pretty neutral in my opinion and I love that about it. I'd feel comfortable wearing this in public over most perfumes I've tried. It's perfectly casual yet serious.

banjerine

Stale pink Hubba Bubba bubble tape :(

Somsoms

I used to love this fragrance. I have had 3 bottles so far but my most recent bottle smells off. Something changed, I don’t know what happened - maybe it was reformulated. It’s much weaker now and doesn’t last as long. This used to be one of my favorite perfumes but it’s not anymore… I hope they change it back.

Chaerinia

Extremely similar to Hypnotic Poison which I hate with every cell of my body so yes, not for me

cowboyfuel

This is a better Hypnotic Poison. It’s creamy, green, woody, and lightly sweet. More depth than expected, but not cloying. Smells a tad too vegetal at the end for me. Astoundingly weak, but that’s great if you hate gourmands.

Datura-Darling

From the notes listed I was excited to try it, but it's not for me. I found it a bit of a muddle of many synthetic smelling notes, coming together, but coming together quietly, to create this extremely weak composition. A mere skin scent and just too artificial, far more gourmand and powdery than fruity and floral overall.

There's some caramel covered minute raspberry, shy florals, and a dusting of powder almond in the background from the heliotrope. I can imagine this as the fragrance in a luxury face cream, just not as a perfume. Maybe I need to overspray it and it doesn't work so well in the cold? I will update here if I try my sample again in the future summer months.

dajkm

Love this scent but way too weak. Not worth the price for a FB. I'll purchase hypnotic instead.

sarahn17

I can see why people can smell icy-hot but on my skin it is a fresh raspberry sitting in the woods. Beautiful, intimate, and soft.

RottigrlNYC

I regret blind buying this one. It’s VERY weak, a mere skin scent, very synthetic and cheap smelling. I don’t get any of the ingredients that it claims it has. Another one to purge from my collection . It’s junk. And I don’t say that easily but this “perfume” should be $1.99. It’s not even worth more than that. That’s why I got my bottle for so very cheap. I should have suspected. Smh crappy Hypnotic Poison wannabe but it falls short. I prefer hypnotic poison any day over this thing

OlgaOT

Gosh is it actually legal for this to be soooo similar to Dior’s Hypnotic Poison? (It's nice but my vote is with Poison)

JamesGamez

Smells like a powdery icy hot. Disappointed.

sarahbdow

baby powder

Kuty22

This is so weak!
If you're torn between this and JPG Scandal le Parfum, please go with JPG

Edit:I've changed it to a like, the scent is pleasing(to others at least, I'd say not so much to the wearer) sits close to the skin and the 'bubble' is a sweet caramel (I swear this smells like McDonald's caramel sundae 😌)
I should've went with JPG.
Since this one has vanilla most likely with time it will get better
It does last a long time, but it's a quiet scent.

strawberrystar

This fragrance is really faint. I barely smell it on me. It is very floral for a scent I expected to be very sweet. I also get the Hypnotic Poison playdough vibe. I will continue to try it I guess.

UPDATE: Last year this scent was very playdough-y on me, I really didn't like it and could not finish it fast enough. However I just sprayed what's left of my travel size and I like it a bit more now, the scent is a lot more floral than I remebered. Not a love, not even a like, but better than I remembered.

Kpick89

This fragrance rivals my love for not a perfume. Every time I smell it, I truly think mmmm. It’s warm and pleasant and very easy to wear and waft around. It’s has also lingered on my clothes after washing which could be good or bad depending on if you want that staying power.

Shellyscents

Smelled this back in August of 2021. Gorgeous, sweet raspberry caramelly vanillic powder. Gave my family plenty of hints that I wanted this for Christmas and my birthday. Bought myself a sample set because I was curious about the new Magnolia Bliss, Lipstick Fever, VV, etc. Whoa my sample was heavier on the green. Skipped the raspberry and went straight to neroli and geranium. Now I still like this but the newer batch was disappointing because the raspberry note is gorgeous. Flash forward to where I bought myself a bottle off a discounter. Sealed, checked the batch code- Dec 2021. Still the maddening absence of raspberry! Obviously yes there is still raspberry... But not as much I think. Maybe it is less prominent in the cool weather? Even though I bought this in summer, it wasn't very prominent when i wore it. Or this batch is more green than fruity. Hope that they revert back to the raspberry magic unless it's my nose that is deceiving me.

Vicschmidtscents

Feminine crowd pleaser, but slightly artificial. Smells like caramel and orange blossom. Sweet, powdery, fruity.

AllisonNW

This one has grown on me. To me it’s like a raspberry version of Elie Saab Girl of Now. There’s an addictive quality to it and find myself craving the scent.

2cool2stink

Yummy😋 it’s juicy powdery and soft I totally agree with mermaidshimmer it has this fizzy note to it like after u smell a coke, it’s subtle but its there, I love it.

Esna

I thought I was too good to like a perfume named “Mmmm”, but here I am.

This always gets me compliments (as if I care what others think) but it does make me malefically happy having multiple people asking what perfume I’m wearing… so I just lie to them to make it sound more special and interesting. I say it’s an in-house concoction that a friend, whom I’m no longer in touch with, purchased from a niche boutique while visiting Manama. I say that the perfume doesn’t really smell that great, that what they are really smelling is my genetically wonderful PH and sweet body oder that amplifies it (that part is probably true anyway) Sorry not sorry.

Margoose

I was hoping the raspberry would be fresher. I expected juicy fruit in the opening, but it’s really more jammy. which is fine. The sweetness + jasmine is always a heavy combo to my nose so i wasn’t totally sure about it at first spray. It does soften up on skin pretty quickly to something that’s still sweet and heady, but not overwhelming. It does smell good. And it does smell like a more approachable hypnotic poison. It’s the kind of fragrance i would love to smell on another person, but not quite sure it’s the best fit for me.

Britneycollector

Toilette (eau de toilette) – A light spray composition with five to 15 percent pure perfume essence dissolved in alcohol. Usually lasts for about three hours.

Shaina87

I love this. I don't know why it's it's not talked about more. This and Lipstick Fever are my favorites from JHAG. It opens with Neroli and raspberry then transforms to a powdery caramel, vanilla and sandalwood scent. It's giving a gourmand vintage lipstick/cosmetic vibe with a ton of orange blossom. And I'm obsessed. It's a light, sensual fragrance that's warm and cozy. I do have to reapply a couple times during the day. But to me, it's worth it. This is such a beautiful fragrance.

Why isn't Cola listed as a note? :-)

I waved my arm under my husband's nose to get his "untrained" opinion on the notes.
He said "This is fruity". Yes, the top notes include juicy raspberry but it's not a fruit bomb,

This is just yummy. The name is so apt. This fragrance will make you smell delicious and you'll catch yourself enjoying wafts of raspberry iris "fizz" (that cola note) for about two hours.

When the top notes dry down, you'll be left with the spicy caramel /heliotrope sweetness. Not a candy sweetness, but a fizzy, moderate spicy vanilla that intermingles with a base of sandalwood. I need to reach for this more often this Autumn. It's a cozy fragrance.

I’ve tried so many JHAG perfumes but this is one of the only ones so far that I can say I would actually wear. The raspberry note is the same as in Lipstick Fever. This perfume is kind of like Lipstick Fever except the waxiness has been replaced by powderiness, and there’s added gourmand. It has the typical JHAG base like all of their perfumes. I usually dislike powdery fragrances but the powder is so soft and slight on this one, it’s blended in so well. It’s not overly sweet, the powder tones down the sweetness.

Mmmm… is my favourite fall/winter scent. I tried it in the Juliette has a gun sample set and I instantly fell in love. It’s similar to hypnotic poison, but I think the raspberry really adds a unique note and makes it different from a lot of caramel gourmands I’ve tried. It’s different enough that it’s not super recognizable and people will ask you all the time what you’re wearing. Someone mentioned it has a lipstick scent and I agree. Had a similar vibe to lipstick fever when I first smelled them both, but after a recent sniff of lipstick fever I don’t really smell much similarity. Lasts so long and definitely worth the money.

I can see why MMMM gets mixed reviews. It's a modern formulation that probably does not appeal to young perfume wearers and may be a bit synthetic for a more mature crowd. It's like a chic Millenial mom that upon further inspection, is dressed in polyester and fake leather from head to toe. I am personally enjoying this misfit concoction. It's molecular and airy despite its heavy, sweet, and woody composition. I love the jammy raspberry cherry combined with all these cozy notes. On me, the javanol (sandalwood) is super prominent, so it doesn't really smell like Dior HP to my nose. The playdoh/doll head note comes and goes, but I'm into it and it's beautifully balanced with a powdery, woody iris and a hint of spice. I'm glad I picked it up because it's going to be a great staple for the coming fall. I will definitely reach for this when I want a cozy and effortless scent.

Mistress Eva

When I first apply MMMM…, it impresses me. I get a flirty, appealing, complex composition that features prominent vanilla, raspberry, caramel, sandalwood, tuberose, and heliotrope notes. Despite the notes, it doesn’t strike me as gourmand. I find my myself sniffing my wrist for the first hour or so.

The drydown loses complexity and changes from flirty to a bit more mature. After a couple of hours, the experience is very similar to Hypnotic Poison (which is also my least favorite Poison), but with poorer performance.

Gi5elle.C

To me, this is the summery version of HP…I prefer to layer this with a stronger fragrance like KVD Sinner for the fall/winter.

victoriabarretta

I’m surprised this hasn’t been said but this reminds me in a lot of ways of Guess Seductive Noir.

I think it’s the vanilla, Jasmine sambac and iris combination in both

That said, I prefer this to Guess SN.

As for the comparisons with Hypnotic Poision EDT, HP is a far better scent over all. More unique, a bit more powdery and slightly less sweet so the other notes get to stand out a bit more. I purchased Mmmm… as a replacement for HP EDT which is the perfect wearable gourmand to me - but the new formulation lasts an hour on my skin.

I’d say this scratches the itch and lasts a bit longer but I miss the coconut and almond touches in HP, I think that along with the wearable sweetness is what makes that one special.

Might try Kenzo Amour next, the hunt continues.

I do enjoy this enough to use it up though.

Also wanted to add that I am underwhelmed by the performance. It’s better than the most recent HP reformulation but not by much.

rainydays

The name and description is a little misleading. I wouldn't say this is gourmand or "edible" at all. It starts off with punchy fruitiness and quickly becomes a sweet, powdery concoction of orange flower, caramel, vanilla, and heliotrope. I don't usual like white florals but this is so utterly smooth, comforting, and feminine.

smccmurphy

While the opening is a bit strong for my taste, the dry down is a beautiful soft vanilla lipstick/ doll head. It does smell like hypnotic poison, just a bit fruitier in my opinion in the opening though. Good for a date night or cold weather.

smellssmelly

Smells like a lipstick to me. Very subtle, would probably be good for layering. A bit too powdery for my taste

Stoicchild

It's a shell of Dior's Hypnotic Poison, very weak.

MJen

This smells like very strong cough syrup on me and nauseating. I really don’t like this!

Lykopa

What a juicy tuberose! A powdery iris combo I enjoy! It’s not my favorite thing ever, but it certainly is pleasant. Like the lobby of a very expensive hotel. This is nice and sweet, and I imagine someone wearing it to brunch and eating finger foods.

AriaLennon

Beautiful! beautiful raspberry Neroli, Raspberry, and Geranium make up the top notes; Tuberose, Iris, Orange Blossom, and Jasmine Sambac make up the middle notes; while Vanilla, Caramel, Sandalwood, Heliotrope, White Musk, and Patchouli make up the base notes. I feel secure and content as a result. One that is fantastic and so sweet, juicy, full, ripe, and authentic. Beautiful orange blossom, sparkling orange blossom, fragrant tuberose and jasmine, delightful soft patchouli, divine musk and heliotrope, and gorgeous sandalwood. Absolutely wonderful fragrance.

Katelynl88

This one is nice . It’s not a favorite but I think it’ll mix well with others . It’s Sweet, I definitely get the vanilla and I can detect a bit of the tuberrose. Slightly reminds me of root beer but not . It’s a soft scent , you could get away with wearing this , probably everywhere . Smells warm and soft like right after you get out of the shower .EDIT ok I’m not sure why I ever thought I liked it , I don’t actually enjoy white florals and this perfume just had something in it that I really don’t like . I never ever reach for it

clgiles888

This does remind me of HP but also The Body Shop - Nigritella. It does have a slightly more powdery note that does not present to me in the former 2. Really I love all 3 and I certainly get that root beer / Dr. Pepper note in all 3. This one has raspberry which is usually a definite NO for me. It was a bit crazy that I bought it anyway. I was not sold on JHAG in general as I did not care for JHAG Pear Inc or Not a Perfume. I blind bought this at Ross for $49.99 on a brave day and initially I was not blown out of the water. However I keep coming back to this over....and over.....and over..... and I have nearly 200 Frags at this point. its just SO easy to wear, not overbearing, and really does smell MMMMMMMM. Nothing offensive about it, and none of the notes upset or cause headache or scream for attention, its just like a BFF frag companion. BTW no one is talking about the box/packaging which I found imaginative and thoughtful. Happy to have in my collection for a day I don't want to be challenged, but rather, supported.

Annkarih

This dosent smell like dior hypnotic poison at all! I get that they share a similarity, but the scent itself is so different! This is more refined, sweeter, juicyer, prettier and all over a much better perfume. I think this has some similarities with oriana from perfumes de marly as well.

Soledad89

This is such a gorgeous, sexy, juicy fragrance. I might be imagining it but I get a hint of cherry, which is one of my favorite notes in a perfume. Marketed as unisex but for me it's a feminine scent. I love this one!

likesleet

this was herby to me? aromatic vanilla. hmmm

SailorV

JHAG scents are such a mixed bag for me. Some are exceptional, many are kind of "meh", and a few are absolutely terrible to my nose. I never know what to expect before testing. Luckily, Mmmm... is one of their truly lovely fragrances and also quite atypical for the house. I regret I waited so long to try it.

I agree with many other reviewers that the powdery, bright vanilla in this is quite similar to the one in Hypnotic Poison. The difference is that Mmmm doesn't have the poisonous, rubbery bitter almond note of HP and smells very fruity and softly inviting instead. The raspberry note is very apparent, but I also get some unlisted cherries. These red fruit are fizzy like a soda or spritzer, so the fragrance doesn't turn too heavy and dense. The floral notes of orange blossom and tuberose are more subtle, but still noticeable. Due to the fruity and floral accents this comes across as more versatile and more suitable for warmer temperatures than HP.
At first I found this perfume nice, but not too special, but then it really grew on me while testing. I think the raspberry drew me in! Even though I have enough fragrances in this vein to refrain from buying it, I would totally wear it if it magically appeared in my collection.

miss_aly

Upon first spray, my immediate thought was "HYPNOTIC POISON!". It definitely has such a similar scent profile... The only SLIGHT differences is that Mmmm is SLIGHTLY lighter/more cosmetic smelling. Whereas HP has bit more of the almond/nuttiness. But truly they could be exact dupes!!! Do I think you need this AND Hypnotic Poison in your collection? Not necessarily... If anything I'd get whichever you find a better deal for. Especially since I found that both have only moderate silage and projection.

Daisv

Jo Malone Scarlett Poppy vibes for sure!! This is alluring and gives the impression of a more complex scent, I believe it is from the Vanilla, It's modern and smells great, You will smell lovely.

frog_princess

vanilla pudding with raspberry syrup... delicious gormaund with a little vintage powdery note. I love it!! its my ss right now <3

Rehderja

This was very sweet to me. Not very unisex — much more feminine.

Marianna Lival

Beautiful gourmand fragrance - I really liked it on the test strip. Mmmm... definitely has that hypnotic poison dr. pepper vibe to it and it's not powdery at all in my opinion. Unfortunately, like with hypnotic poison/black opium, when I put this on my skin it turned to play dough. I wish my body chemistry matched up with this one because I would definitely buy it.

Fcjuliet

If you think it smells exactly like Hypnotic Poison by Dior you’re spot on. I had it as my signature in my 20s and JHAG Mmmm took me back immediately. I wouldn’t be able to set them apart but for the sake of a more detailed comparison I’d say Mmmm smells like a creamier vanilla than Hypnotic, I guess the more rounded formula is supposed to warrant the price tag. Well it doesn’t. It’s was a nice surprise for my Olfactive memory but not even the different dry down, slightly more ozonic, deeper and richer would persuade me to buy a larger bottle. Happy for having chosen a 7.5 atomiser and btw that’s a great brand strategy I wish more houses would adopt. I’m ok committing to a smaller vial to try something new properly. I’ve recently bought a small JHAG Pear Inc. spray and different to what happened with Mmmm, I fell in love with that and went for a 100ml. Win-win.

Cmlake89

An hour after drydown this reminds me a bit of Armani Code for women. Different enough to have both but definitely in the same family.

Candylover666

I recieved this perfume today and I have to say I am dissapointed.
I expected a lot of gourmand goodness but all I got was deep florals with a hint of vanilla.
I am a lover of sweet girly gourmands and this one defienetly doesn’t fit into that category so if your taste is like mine you probably wont like this one.
Also yes, this perfume does actually smell a lot like Hypnotic Poison by Dior so incase you’re looking for a more affordable dupe, this is it.
I might return this perfume but I haven’t decided yet. I might keep it to maybe live out some “femme fatale/maneater/seductress” vibes because that’s what this perfume smells like to me. I noticed it smelled really nice and gourmand-y sprayed over mango body lotion so honestly I think that for me it lacks fruitiness, something like strawberry or even cherry would make this fragrance perfect for me.
So anyways, don’t blind buy this if you’re expecting a sweet gourmand fragrance because it ain’t it.

fairyshiro

i remember when i first sprayed this at sephora and i audibly said “mmm.” its super sweet but not in a cloying way. i genuinely enjoy this.

Díana1111

As others have commented, it does have the same DNA as Hypnotic Poison but JHAG mmm is a bit softer and sexier. For some reason, I associate HP with a mature sexy woman and JHAG mmm with a younger sexy woman. I will always keep both in my collection as I tend to reach for them when I want to feel warm and sexy.

livelovelaugh0810

smells like white chocolate raspberry hagandaz bar type of scent at first spray.
then it kinda dries down to this cherry kind of smell.
reminds of a rounded cherry smoothie by zara without that bitter almondy smell.

then the drydown smells like a xylitol gum with vanilla and fruits.
like a melted rapsberry yogurt bar with smashed xylitol gum mixed in a blender and dried out, but if you smell it really closely, you get a bit of that classic juliette has a gun DNA that all their fragrances have. And i also get patchouli and i hate patchouli.

Loved the first spray, so if it was linear I would've definetly splurged, but since that's not the case, I don't see it full-bottle worthy personally for me.

rsjohnson1994

I was told that this smells like a vampire that was turned in her 20s & is just killing it being a femme fatale. They were right! The vanilla gives the same fancy playdoh effect as Hypnotic Poison, in a good way.

nordhaul

This smells beach-appropriate to me.
I haven’t worn it, just from The bottle.
At first I mistaken it for Vanilla Vibes &
when I saw on The bottle said “Mmmm”
now I’m here searching The reviews 🕵🏻♀️
seeing if any1 agrees. Easy beach reach

EDIT: currently wearing and yep! Beach
Reach! The perfect scent as well as The
silage for any beach. Doesn’t smell any
thing other than “yeah”. Lazy, or rather,
chill. Lots of skin, sun, no make up and
au natural, read a book or soak in The
rays, but don’t play volleyball bc this
doesn’t have The fortitude to desmell
your sweat, but rather, intensify it. It
also doesn’t smell expensive. Just ☀️
friendly & approachable. Good times

Sully92

Hypnotic poison has been one of my favourites for many many years but the newer formulation is so incredibly weak and tbh I was a getting a little bored of it so I was very exited to try this one. It did not disappoint!
I'm wearing MMMM on one arm and HP on the other right now. This is like HPs more modern younger sister. It's like they took HPs dna, took out the coconut and plum and added raspberry and iris. This opens with fruity raspberry while HP opens much nuttier with the almond and coconut. I don't detect any patchouli in this which is great because I'm not the biggest fan of patchouli.
This is definitely outperforming the newer formulation of HP, I've had them on for around 6 hours and can only faintly smell HP while I can still smell this quite clearly. It's not a strong projector but it will give you a nice small bubble of fragrance around you for a couple of hours.
Please sample first and don't blind buy even if you love HP because jhag fragrances can be quite polarizing, they smell great on some people and awful on others.

sarahtheperfumelover

MMMM is probably my favourite from JHAG. I definitely see the resemblance to Hypnotic Poison edt. If you like Hypnotic Poison but wish is was overall softer or there’s something that doesn’t quite sit with your nose, I’d try this to see if you like it. It’s light-hearted but not juvenile and definitely cozy. I would enjoy wearing thing out on a cold day or even when I’m lounging at home and want to wear something sweet and comforting. The vanilla, sandalwood, and caramel base are so yummy and the raspberry on top really compliments it. I definitely smell the tuberose which I really like because I don’t have very many gourmands with tuberose included. I bought a 100ml on Fragrancebuy and am so glad I did.
