Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for women. Jimmy Choo was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Polge. Top notes are Pear, Mandarin Orange and Green Notes; middle note is Orchid; base notes are Toffee and Patchouli.

The most popular brand of luxury shoes and fashion accessories, Jimmy Choo, launches its first fragrance, simply named Jimmy Choo.

Jimmy Choo fragrance, described as "feminine yet empowering, with a lot of sensuality to it", was developed in cooperation with Inter Parfums and the famous perfumer from IFF Olivier Polge. The seductive composition is a modern chypre fruity, with green top notes, tiger orchid, sweet toffee caramel and Indonesian patchouli.

The packaging and the textured glass bottle is designed by Mellon herself. She was inspired by Murano glass and devoted so much attention to the appearance, so that it would be desirable and appropriate for your nightstand. Mellon is also the face of the campaign shot with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Jimmy Choo launched in February 2011 as 40 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum, body lotion and shower gel.

I tried it many times. Liked it but wasn't sure because the first spray is overwhelming. I was afraid it might be too much but I discoverd that if you spray like a normal person and let it dry down for a few minutes you will see what I'm talking about :
It is Ari's older sister , it is modern and if flowerbomb was this perfume's cousin I wouldnt be surprised. I have waited to buy this one and tried so many other perfumes and this p
one is special .
It is Pretty . It is Sexy . It's warm but airy and a bit powdery . after a while it smells like caramel pear musk .. If you are the kind of a person that wants to feel like you have a cloud of your scent around you ,then ,this one is it. Look at who made this perfume .. it is a good one . You can smell a DNA scent wich makes it still unique - with character .
I get pear but then an elegant caramelized sweetness , like the good buttery caramel the expensive kind like cream Brule but with pears , there's a nice contradiction between the warm deep sweetness
and the musk vibe and patchouli . The drydown smells amazing .
strong enough to leave a trail and make a statement but if you believe that perfumes are meant to be discovered and not announced, just spray a little . It will last all day.. Don't forget to put body lotion on your skin. All year round if you'd like.. depending on the amounts you spray . Could be too sweet for hot summer during the day time for sure. I prefer lighter perfumes, in the summer .It's good for the Night time, in every season though . Don't over spray and you're good to go . Excellent value for money specially on holiday's sales.
Leaves a scent that smells more and more like me . It's all a matter of taste but if you want sweet but sensual I recommend you trying it . 🙂

So I bought this perfume because it was highly recommended by Soki London, as she had mentioned this was her favourite scent of all time. I had high expectations of this perfume, but when I smelt it I was soooo disappointed as it's one of the grossest perfumes I've ever smelled before. It's so powdery and musky, but not in a good way, like old and stale, and it's very pungent. It could be my nose, the batch or something else, but I can't understand how someone would like this over other beautiful scents. Definitely not a good blind buy.

freshperfumer

So fruity-patchouli especially if you dislike and have headache after a patchouli induced perfumes! Definetely get the raspberry, toffee and the orchid in here! Got a few compliments while I was assuming it has not much projection! However sillage and projection are very good!

Neuzapi

O meu perfume predileto. Simplesmente amo.

Jill Costello

This is a beautiful combination of pear toffee and patchouli. Its sweet but mature. Not mature in a dated way more in a grown woman who's got it together. I am not that haha so I wanted to love it but it's not for me.

LiliiiS

I bought this perfume years ago with high hopes because I love toffee(and any other gourmand note), I love pear, I love orchid and back then a lot of people compared Jimmy Choo EDP to Flowerbomb which I love. unfortunately Jimmy Choo EDP was nothing like Flowerbomb and I didn't like it. last night I tried it after a while to see if my feelings have changed but nope... we are not meant to be.
When I first spray it, I don't dislike what I smell. I can pickup pear, a green fleshy patchouli softened and rounded by toffee which is not as sweet and gourmand as I wished but I can still detect it's warm, almost caramel like presence. but eventhough I find it pleasant enough, for some weird reason it makes me feel sick and nauseated. I don't know what ruins it for me. I'm not a fan of patchouli but usually I can get along with it in sweet perfumes and patchouli seems balanced and kind of clean here so I don't know what's my problem with it. eventhough it makes me feel physically sick I wouldn't choose dislike botton if it wasn't for it's drydown. in it's late drydown, the only thing left on my skin is pure patchouli without even a hint of other notes and I hate it when perfumes do that and leave just patchouli, or just sandalwood (or any other woody note) behind. I can never spray such perfumes on my clothes. there are other perfumes from Jimmy Choo which I enjoy like Illicit or Flash but Jimmy Choo EDP is not for me. BTW a few years ago I also had the EDT version but gave it away. they're not that similar. just share like 10% similarity as they share the same DNA.if I remember it right, that one was fresh, clean peary shampoo like scent. I don't know why I kept this one but gave away the more tolerable one.

Iconic'80s

This is not a win for me. I get a lot of pear and just basic sweet floral which is okay, doesn't give me a headache but it's nothing special. I borderline don't like it, but not enough to get rid of it and I have a big bottle.
I'm hoping that I can find the magic combination to layer it with something else, maybe something more gourmand.
I don't get any mandarin orange or toffee.
Kind of underwhelming for me.

TheJester420

This perfume smells so fancy, sexy and sophisticated to me. It’s so un-offensive yet intriguing. The floral notes mix perfect with the toffee and patchouli and I find this scent super easy to layer with others. I find this scent to be best in winter as it has a warming smell to it.
Sadly this scent doesn’t seem to last long though and that’s my biggest complaint. I seem to get 1-2 hours on clothes and 2-3 hours on skin. I would recommend applying to heat spots on skin for best results.

Saki3

It's most balanced perfume. Nothing is too much or too little. It's just simply beautiful, sweet, seductive. I love it, i use it, my husband loves it when i come to bed with it

perfumekiwifigorange

Love it!! Patchouli is one of my favs. It's beautiful in cooler weather. Good for the northern hemisphere. I like it during October-December. Reminds me of school.

SongNSalt

Instant headache and nausea. I'm not sure if it's the patchouli or the orchid or what else that kills it for me, but it gives me the same kind of vibe as Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb and especially Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid. I could only hold on for a couple of hours before I had to scrub it off.

darkbeauty

No offense to anyone who this works for, if it does, I’m glad for you. I had high hopes for all the notes listed, especially the toffee note, and all I got was a really basic shampoo smell. Kinda sad about it because I know this perfume has a following. Not what I was expecting at all. I had hoped for way more.

vighletends

This is one of the best perfumes. I genuinely don’t get the patchouli at all, not that I mind it but usually I smell it more. This literally just smells like a fruity syrupy caramel. It smells just like the notes, macerated pears with a touch of orange covered in caramelized candied orchids. It’s syrup with just enough of a tartness from the orange to make it not cloyingly sweet. If you don’t like gourmands you will totally hate this but this is BOMBBBBB.

jenzel4381

Yuck. I had to scrub it off.

Veronika95

Every once in a while I rediscover this amazing perfume and fall in love again and again. But for some reason I always forget it after some time… I suspect that the reason is that I become noseblind to this scent after 2-3 days, and I use perfume for my own nose, so I put it away every time. It was one of my very first perfumes, bought on recommendation from Kathleenlights, and I love it, I just wish I smelled it longer.

NanceMusc

I must be totally nose blind to this fragrance, I have a full size bottle, blind buy because of its great cold weather reviews and I can't smell it at all after less than 5 minutes and all I smell in that 5 minutes is harsh, very dirty patchouli, no sweetness, no floral no citrus no nothing. I put it on an hour ago, I sprayed 3 sprays each wrist and now even if I push my nose into my arm I can smell absolutely nothing, not a thing. Totally bonkers, it is the Edp too

jujuba4596

I enjoy this frangrance since I was 15 (I’m 27 now). And I’m really surprise people don’t talk more about it. It’s sweet, hot, a little bit powdery and spicy just in the right way. More of a night perfume for my taste. The Toffee note really stands out. I recommend this a lot!

quilesja

I have given this fragrance multiple tries throughout the past two years and the results remain the same. I can't pinpoint what I can't tolerate in it. My nose immediately rejects the scent. I layered it with Kate Spade Sparkle, but find that Sparkle takes over as it is an intense fragrance. Any suggestions on how to layer Jimmy Choo is welcomed.

MomBomb

Migraine inducer. Decent frag, but huge pass.

kmyers846

I love this perfume! This is a sweet, floral, patchouli scent. It's eternal lasting with enormous sillage. I would only wear this in the winter because of how strong it is. It's very similar to Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf if you want a more affordable option that's sweeter and less floral. The bottle even looks like Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb.

Chanel.no.666

This perfume haunts me and, tbh, that’s kind of embarrassing. Because it is truly a mid range perfume. One for the basic bitches. It smells like candy and lipstick and hairspray.

Unfortunately, to me it also smells like wasted time, empty sheets in the morning, trawling the Internet for cheap flights, worrying about making enough money to apply for visas and, worst of all, the piercing anxiety of knowing someone is slipping away from you and not being able to do anything about it.

Don’t get your heart broken by someone who wears this bc it’s common and loud enough that you run the risk of getting randomly hit with a wave of overly sweet nostalgia basically anywhere.

Real day ruiner.

DreamInCream

Starts out a bit masculine and gives a mixed up feeling, discordant. It is also a bit spicy, which I like, but that goes away very quickly. I think it may be patchouli out of balance. Next comes half synthetic pear and half orchid. That's it, no toffee nothing else.
As with another reviewer, I blind bought this based on a perfume youtuber's description and it is one of her all time favorite fragrances. My fault, not hers.

colorblindlove

Very patchouli heavy, I can see why some people think this smells like nail polish remover. It does to me as well but it also smells luxurious. I wish more of the toffee came out on my skin but as of now, I’m glad I returned it.

Malinda666

Jimmy Choo. Yep. Idk. Without the mandarin orange and the offensive cloying patchouli it would be nice, I´m sure.... 3/10

Tashateex

This was my signature scent for some years until I decided to give other fragrances a try.

I love how bold and sexy this is. I pick up on the pear, toffee, woodiness, and patchouli (done right). I would also say this is a mature scent, but in a good way.

This scent has amazing longevity, I can spray my coat and leave in my wardrobe/closet, come back weeks later and will still smell it. It is a heavy hitter so you may wanna spray light handed.

I will always always repurchase this one.

cmdrumgool

I purchased a sample of this only to discover it's the most repulsive scent ever created. I'll be giving this away as soon as possible to the first poor, unsuspecting soul who will take it in the hopes that I never have to suffer this foul odor passing through my nostrils ever again.

KristenKras

I love it! Sweet toffee that wafts up to your nose and envelopes you. Beautiful patchouli dry down. Just gorgeous, wish the bottle was bigger though.

Thisismesofia

After years of wearing it on and off, I have been craving it lately , literally craving this scent! It’s so feminine, uplifting, cozy and sexy ! I can’t part with this one ever ♥️

herculano

I adore this one, and the Stars flanker (no pear, but, instead, candied orange peel) of this, in winter.

They are just perfect for winter.

I find the patchouli in these to make the scents gorgeously complex. Layered. Baroque!

On a woman they will certainly smell feminine. I am an extremely feminine woman, and I’ve never once felt these perfumes are masculine.
They CAN BE, on a man, but they are not scents that will make you smell like a dude, no. No way.
They are certainly DEEP, and complex, but women’s fragrances used to commonly be deep and complex (even back in my twenties in the 90s).

I get excited every winter, especially in December, because that’s when I most want to smell like baroque pears, and festive, candied orange peels with toffee and patchouli.

I find them both entirely enchanting, and I also get enthusiastically great feedback from others when I wear them.

This and Stars are rich, chewy, long lasting, medium projecting, creations.

PoloSan

At first it smelt like the interior of my grandma's old wooden wardrobe (100 years old perhaps). I wasn't sure how I felt about that. I kept sniffing it on my wrist for a while. Though I'm not sure if it's because I liked the scent or because it reminded me of my grandma. It settles down to something that i don't really like but every once in a while I'll catch a whiff of grandma's house. Smells mature, even masculine. I think I'll gift it to my partner so that i can enjoy the memory of grandma's wardrobe once in a while

CustardBunny

very spicy straight away, i was expecting sweet but got male coded herbal.. not a fan of the top notes, which seem to be patchouli and orchid.
base notes lean more towards motherlike, more patchouli and some citrus.
I dont like this perfume at all, it stings my nose and does not fit me one bit. like i just spent a whole day in an old hags garden that wanted to cook me next.. i dont get the toffee at all btw.

Smonalisa

I bought and sold this perfume twice. When I don’t have it, I think about it. When I do and spray it on …it’s a love at first but then dries down to a dirty patchouli. The pear is very sexy, mixed with a slight …new book smell , hard to explain…. Like you are in a new office with fresh paint and new carpet, in a slightly sheer silk blouse and pencil skirt, wearing sexy perfume. Sounds strange, but in a good way. The toffee is only detectable in hot sunny weather. It’s a strange one… I may end up buying it again . If only they could clean up that patchouli.

_Aerides

Pear, caramel and TONS of patchouli 🥰 I love patchouli and this is the dirtier kind, it's a bit skanky as I like my patchouli but the syrupy pear and the sweet caramel balance it out🍐On my skin it dries fairly masculine, and the air lingers with a gorgeous gourmand scent that doesn't pull too feminine. I love how green and fresh it feels without losing the denseness on the background, you can wear this on a warmer day (not too hot) and also on cold weather, it shines differently in both. Absolutely try this out if you're a guy, I think this is quite unisex and adapts to different occasions 😎

igalmusic

My new signature scent, absolutely amazing! So sexy and unique.

blossomrush

oof i was surprised by how “dirty” this perfume smells on my skin, especially the dry down. it just does NOT smell fruity or sweet. after looking at the notes, maybe it’s the patchouli? or the green notes? the pear comes through but the “dirty” scent overpowers it.

AinoKaroliina

In the top notes I first sense the sweet pear note and I clearly pick up the green notes too. The top notes have a "perfumey" scent.

I sense the patchouli in the base and a soft, mild sweet note that isn't obvious toffee.

Brisk and lightly sweet. Bit musky but still fresh at the same time.

For daytime. Spring, fall.

Maryam.marcy.may.marlene

One of the unique fragrance DNA ever created. i've never smelled anything like this amongst designer perfumes. Love it! EDT version was long lasting too.

Dani83

Stunning it’s been my favorite signature scent for 8 years and I still love it 🥰

xababyxaforluv

Unique, dazzling, confident. Bold. Not sharp but not too soft. Not too here, not too there. Dry down is magic. Sexy unisex fragrance!

Momto3Balls

This smells nothing like the notes listed to my nose. This smells EXACTLY like those perfume strips that were in magazines in the late 90's and early 2000's. It's a definite throwback scent for me. I don't think this is one that I will grab daily but will use when I want a throwback to back in the day. It's also reminiscent of a perfume department at a department store. The blast of various perfumes that you are hit with when you enter from the cosmetics section. Teh bottle is pretty!

Yolis

This is SWEET (take that with a grain of salt because I am not a gourmand sweet scent type of girly at ALL). I Loved the pear and fresh and floral opening with the faintest hint of toffee. But the drydown on my skin has the patchouli popping out with the toffee intensified so much that it's caramelized and the dominant scent. The pear has faded considerably on the drydown.

It was too sweet for me but I LOVE the opening and how it smells in the bottle so I don't want to give it away. I honestly layered the BBW Rose scent (an airy fresh rose) on top of this and it made it like a candied rose which was much more bearable for me. In the future I will use a Rose Lotion as well.

Random but Olivia Rodrigo would suit this perfume. I know she wears BR540 but I think this is something she'd like.

aflakes

Wow, I really underestimated Jimmy Choo edp. I did not think it would be a love for me because of the Patchouli, but I cannot get enough of this fragrance! The pear, toffee, and Patchouli is such a perfect blend. It's not too loud or overwhelming either. I've already received several compliments, so that's a plus!

canadianpetite

At first spray, this smells too masculine. After a few minutes, it resembles Flowerbomb except with much more patchouli, less flowers and more pear. Not sweet.

One spray on me:
Sillage: less than arm's length
Longevity: an hour
Rating: 1/5

summervanilla

I have tried this fragrance multiple times. I really want to love it. I am a huge gourmand lover and pear is probably my favorite note ever. But every time I have tried this, I get the same results. It smells completely linear and I get none of the notes except for maybe patchouli. This is a granny scent. My grandmother literally wears Angel from Mugler, and it reminds me of her somehow. It's just heavy and cloying, without even being all that sweet. I have one or two samples of it, so I will make another attempt when the weather cools down, but it seems like it's just not for me. I wish I could smell what everybody else is smelling. I can't even smell it on paper, so maybe it's my nose more than my chemistry. I have seen some people compare it to JPG La Belle, and that is another one I get nothing out of, it's just another heavy granny scent

Hunter222

I won a basket full of fragrance body creams, random pharmacy fundraiser ballot. Most of which I’ve never smelled the scent itself. I’m curious to try this juice. I wouldn’t read these notes and ever think twice to try. What a delightful surprise… cozy, uplifting, whimsical, but not sugared. Easy Sunday morning scent.
What a fun prize:)

LoveSmellsss

All.of you that are saying it smells like nail polish is because you only judged it after the first few minutes. You guys have have let perfume sit for a bit . This perfume is no exception. It is a patchouli bomb but the sweetness really helps it become unique and bold but refined enough

Gabsp28

I received this as a gift. When I first sprayed it, I felt it was more suited to a more mature person. However the more I've used it, the more I like it. First spray the woody and warm spices come through, as the scent starts to settle the sweetness comes through, its not a childish sweetness either. The floral and caramel notes really shine after a few hours. A few sprits of this lasts the whole day on my skin and clothes, no need for reapplication. I smell it all day long. A beautiful perfume

Snugglezzz

As an Angel lover, I like this fragrance. I think of it as a good "crowd pleaser" option for gourmand patchouli lovers. The fruity notes give it a sparkly quality and keep it from smelling too mature. I think its funny that a lot of reviews mention it being unisex or masculine because it smells pretty girly to me with the pear note. I do smell that "fresh paint" note after the drydown that another review mentioned but after several hours it goes away and a really pretty, "skin-like" smell remains. If I could just bathe in it and fast forward 6 hours, that'd be perfect 😂. Then you'd just smell like you emit a natural yummy cozy sweetness.

Hannehoney

Great fall and winter scent. Im not typically a fan of patchouli, but in here its sweet. I like it alot :) I can smell a plum note, but I think its the mix of pear and toffee. Caramel, hazelnut and chocolate. It reminds me a bit of The Only One. Really nice :)

Beagn

If you never tried guaraná soft drink, that’s the smell of it.

toosimilar

Pure disaster, sweet and heavy
Imagine a lady deciding to forget a bf who has let her down...
Trying to make him regret by all means
Perfect crowd antipleaser for a stuffy night club
Everyone would quit the party earlier than usual :DD

mdluli

On my skin it start of very which I enjoy a lot then after 3 hours I get the sweetness and patchouli. I didn't like it at first but after a year and half I enjoy it.

Cassiano

Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum's fragrance is classified as chypre-modern with fruity nuances. It was created by Olivier Polge and its top notes are pear nectar and Italian sweet orange, with a central note of tiger orchid, and a gourmand base with toffee accord and patchouli.

The word that defines this fragrance is exotic. It was exotic when it first came out, and it still is when compared to much of what's on the market today. And much is said about patchouli – yes, it is very present –, but Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum has more layers than meets the eye.

As soon as it is sprayed on the skin, that pear nectar invades the nostrils and reveals an immense aldehyde content and, at the same time, sweetness. It's not the juicy pear, but a jam or, even better, pears in wine. With it, the orange tries to bring more citrus facets but ends up bringing a bubbly side that, as a result, gives me a smell of guarana. That's right, guarana!

Then, a fanciful and sensual floral note begins to exhale, evidencing ambery nuances that were probably created in the accord. If you've ever smelled the chocolate orchid, then you'll notice the resemblance.
At this stage, the heavy and sometimes invasive output begins to subside. Here, Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum changes its personality and moves towards a drier side. On me, it's not powdery, but I know that characteristic is a problem for many women.

The projection also decreases as the sweet patchouli emerges. The base brings a different patchouli, which doesn't have warm chocolate nuances but brings a texture of thin caramel sauce, like when the sugar starts to melt in the pan, but it still doesn't manage to fill the environment with exaggerated sweetness.

On my skin, the performance is good, and the fragrance behaves in a very shareable way. Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum is not "more of the same" and still remains on a differentiated shelf, so much so that it is less commented (and copied) than countless other fragrances in the competition.

I know I already mentioned it, but it bears repeating: exotic is the word!

kittenpawz

At malls I sometimes test perfumes without checking the pyramid first. I didn't know there was *that* note in it until I had trouble smelling any other scents with the Jimmy Choo strip nearby. Very loud patchouli with a sweet-fruity twist. All patchouli perfumes smell the same to me: vulgar, headache inducing and masculine and this is no exception so I won't go on about it and instead try to focus on two good things I noticed here. First is the mentioned above sweet-fruity twist. It's definitely interesting and makes it slightly different from other generic patchoulibombs. The other one is performance. Amazing staying power, projects really well too, and for such a reasonable price!! I find it really admirable in present-day fragrances. So if you love patchouli/fruitchouli, or maybe that note doesn't stick out to you so much it becomes unwearable, try this. Beast-mode (well, almost?), somewhat unique fragrance that doesn't empty your pockets, although it might smell slightly synthetic to some.

annikahuhd

This was a blind buy and at first I thought it smelled too masculine for me (because of the patchouli) but pretty quickly I learned to like it. It smells different, unique and elegant.

Some days there is a risk for a headache when wearing it, though.

cemeteryfairy

For some reason I can’t smell the patchouli at all thank god, this is the purest cutest sweetest cotton candy smell ever, even more so than pink sugar and body fantasies cotton candy. I know lots of people think of this as a super sexy clubbing/nighttime fragrance but this reminds me so so much of being a little girl, it makes my heart so happy. I didn’t really have a very good childhood but one memory I have is when I went on vacation to Gettysburg and my mother let me go into the store by myself and I bought a blue raspberry hello kitty candy lipstick and it smelled just like this. I was about 4 years old and I kept it in my vanity with my play makeup and lipsmackers and this smells just like opening that drawer. This is almost intoxicating and headache inducing if you huff your wrist like I am lmao, nothing about this is natural at all, it’s like synthetic pixelated sugar that seems almost otherworldly. I don’t really know how the notes make it smell like this I guess it’s the toffee. It’s like a cotton candy hologram. It’s weird, it feels surreal and digital and like how you picture femininity and growing up from a little girls point of view. It’s everything girly, magic, and young it’s like a gigantic cloud of blue sugar, that’s the only way I can describe it.

exogen

It's hard to describe other than that I think it smells classy, expensive, and elegant. A more mature sweetness for the early 30's and beyond.

The13thHour

Jimmy Choo is a unique sweet patchouli perfume. You really have to love patchouli! It's feminine with a slight masculine vibe. It's strictly a winter night out perfume. It will definitely get you compliments and phone numbers lol. You don't need much at all. Unfortunately, l probably only wear this 2-3x a year. I call this my New Year's eve perfume. This bottle will last me for a life time.

pinotos802

Dated overly sweet patchouli, smells really weird.

The pear, the toffee and the green notes are what I mostly get. This is an excellent summer fragrance. I believe this is unisex. If a man wore this I think it would be so sexy. Very long lasting. A unique and good choice for a signature.

Pleasant sweet bright pear, green and fresh not syrupy like JPG La Belle but warmed and sweetened with the toffee. A lighter summery alternative? Enjoyed a tester spray in store. Longevity and projection good. Not sure I would purchase but wouldn't refuse a gifted bottle!

Sunlit Diamond

You know when you open a new bag of granulated sugar and the big waft of sugar cloud hits your nose and makes it burn inside? That and patchouli. If you like those two things, go for it.

ElysseKB

I consider this my main"French perfume" as it was created by Jacques Polges and it feels like a Parisian perfume to me. It's sexy yet artistic, unique and extremely beautiful. It's also more affordable and so I can spray it profusely and really make it my signature scent.

Glamour_Magick3

Full bottle for Sale!

I inherited this bottle from my cousin who was an avid perfume collector.

DM for photos and pricing!

OceanLife

The opening is summery and kind of aldehydic and the drydown is a bit autumnal with patchouli and caramel, what exactly does it want to be? Though my bottle is kind of old (was a gift) so if you really want to try it, don’t take my review into consideration. Also, this helped me discover that I really don’t like patchouli heavy fragrances.

fyre92

Idk why this is getting compared with fruit cholis. This is sexy toffee, orchid and patchouli. The patchouli is not the star but the thing giving it presence. That toffee!!!! Especially in the extrait! Omg! Get it and stock up on it while it’s cheap. People will miss tf out of this when it’s discontinued.

daahlbom

Love this one so much!!!

Miss boudoir

Hello guys .. could somebody suggest a good dupe for this without the annoying fresh paint green note in the opening? Cheers 🎊

cats_eye

I've been wearing this one a bit. It's exotic yet easy to wear. I also smell sandalwood in addition to the patchouli. When I smell it I think of an ornate Chinese sandalwood box or fan. There's some sweetness from the pear and toffee but it's restrained. The woody notes are the strongest. Some people might not like this but I love it. It makes me feel calm. The bottle is one of my all time favorites too.

IMadeleine

Not a good combo...The pachuli ruins everything in this fragrance, smells cheap. It s not like Mademoiselle where pachuli is elegant.

Velvetta

Really weird sceny for me. Got 1/4 bottle for test and i just still can't wrap my mind around them. I would definitely say it's not safe for blind buy. I get sweet pear note maybe for a moment at the beginning, but generally i can't seperate anything else from it. Later it gives me almost like this weird dirty patchouli scent, can't say more about it really. Tried in different amounts, weather, everything and it's just always rather odd. My mom on the other hand had really good experience with them, so it's definitely for personal test, preference and skin chemistry:)

Pauliinasik

This is beautiful, unique and cozy. Used to be my clubbing & going out scent in my early twenties. Men seem to like this a lot.

Atomikbomb_

The opening of this is rough, I won't sugarcoat it...it smells like nail polish remover as my friend suggested...and I totally agree. It's sharp initially.

And actually, this remains sharp even into the drydown, but some of the gourmond nuances emerge after a while and it softens considerably. I'm not sure if I would classify it as toffee, but there's like a sweet, sugary note that smells like cookies in the base, mixed with patchouli.

Ultimately it does come off as something disjointed to me, it's as if the notes here require something smoother to pull it together. I'm usually kind of weary of vanilla in everything, but I do wish this had vanilla. A little resin wouldn't hurt either.

I just find it a little odd and unfinished. It's not for me I guess, but I do wonder if the right skin would help it bloom!

XOXO_marcel

A lot of Jimmy Choo fragrances give me a headache, including this one. The toffee is sort of grainy and unpleasant, the florals are heavy, and it's wayyy too sweet.

It's sexy, and it's cool, but it's not for me.

Jimmy Choo Original Edp
Or "Chew My Shoe" As My Hubby Call's It!!
👞👞👠👠😂

I Actually Call This My: "PULP FICTION PERFUME"!! As It Reminds Me So Much Of The Actress "Maria de Medeiros" Who Played The Raven Haired, Rather Mysterious Mia Wallace Along Side John Trovolta In The Film Pulp Fiction!! To Me This Is The Very Perfume She Would Reach For On Leaving The House With Vincent, Son Of A Preacher Man By Dusty Springfield Still Playing Out, As They Slip The Front Door Closed Behind Them, Heading Of For Dinner Together!! And Remember The Clip In The Film Where Mia Enters The Pair Of Them Into The Dance Compilation, And They Both Slip Their Shoes Off Before Hitting The Dance Floor Together, Setting The Place Alight With Their Smoldering Dance Routine!! Well This Is What This Very Perfume Conjures Up In My Mind Everytime I Reach For It/Have It On Me!!

Personally I Think It's A Very Classy, And Expensive, Well Put Together Fragrance, That Ooozes Pure Eligance, And Works Extremely Well With Lets Say Expensive Clothing!! It's A Fragrance For A Strikingly Beautiful Girl/Woman Who Knows Exactly What Her Main Aim In Life Is, And Where's She's Going!! Although I Would Honestly Say That Any Head Strong, Classy, Well Dressed Guy Could Also Carry This Off With Ease!! I Think That Jimmy Choo Knew Exactly The Kind Of Audience This Fragrance Would Appeal To When He Sat At The Drawing Board In The Early Stages Of It's Design!! And By Using Only The BEST AND MOST EXPENSIVE INGREDIENTS He Surely Does Have A Real Winner On His Hands!! The Lasting Power In This Fragrance Is Tremendous, Again That's Down To The Quality Of Ingredients Used And The Way That Everything Is So Well Blended Together!! Even The Very Bottle It Arrives In Is Just Stunning!! On My Skin It Opens Up With Fresh Green Notes, Followed By Pear, I Don't Get Any Of The Mandarin Orange Note On My Skin!! I Do However Get A Strong Orchid/Tropical Flower Aroma, Set On A Smokey Musky Patchouli Base!! And As For The Toffee Note, Yes I Can Smell It, And Yes It's There, But It's So Mild That You Really Do Have To Kind Of Search For It, By Putting Your Nose Very Close To Your Skin To Find It!! I Feel That This Fragrance Is More Suited To Evening Wear/Use, And Highly Recommend It For: Springtime/Autumn/Winter, As It Would Be Far To Heavy A Fragrance For Use In Warm Summertime Weather!! All In All I Really Do Love This Original Edp By Mr Jimmy Choo!! And Would Rate It 9/10 Over All.
A Well Done Classic Indeed!!!!

svetik26

Very sweet patchouli and heavy .At the beginning the sillage is huge but than it died down a bit at the dry down you get the toffee as well as the patchouli so sweet unbearable. Wow that's not a scent for everyone, for patchouli lovers long lasting fragrance .
I felt the scent even on the next day.

Miss boudoir

Can somebody suggest a perfume for women that mimics the beautiful drydown of this perfume but without the harsh synthetic green opening?

Thanks 👍

RhettB27

Smell this next to Dior Homme Intense if you have it. That pear note man lol what’s funny is I’ve smelled this countless times showing it at work and it never did anything for me. Today it hit me smelling it going through my moms perfumes 😂 what an awesome fragrance how did I keep skipping over this one?? I think this would be an awesome every day fragrance, not too sweet, not too heavy, just incredibly well balanced. Does also remind of Givenchy L’Interdit some too which I like a lot but is less fruity and the patchouli base note very well-rounded and smooth but still possessing that touch of distinctness. Really nice stuff here and blows Fever away which smells like a more tame Black Opium to me.

baka.tenshi

I got this from Luxury Scent Box to try it out. It is not my cup of tea. To me it would be as my son says "It smells like perfume." Basically nothing special about it to me. I will not be buying it again.

honeydanna

I don't understand how people don't like this! My nose gets pear and caramel, so yummy! I layer it with the lotion and lasts all day on me.

fformoso88

I got this as a gift and unfortunately it was not my cup of tea. Too synthetic, too blah, no personality in this fragrance. It wasn’t for me needless to say. I ended up selling it. I couldn’t even describe to you this scent. But it was a no from me dog.

cats_eye

Gothic iridescent pear, caramel and musky woods. This smells like a Scorpio fragrance. The patchouli in Jimmy Choo edp is very rounded and not gross like in some fragrances. It's completely unisex. Every time I smell this on a lady I think it would be great on a guy as well. It's just right, as Goldilocks would say.. Not too sweet, too strong, too woody, floral or fruity. I think it's really nicely blended. It's also one of my favorite bottles ever!🖤

ataraxiuh

received this for my birthday about a year ago, it's a very pretty smelling perfume, but on my skin it just reads very synthetically sweet and cheap like a very typical department store fragrance. I had hoped to get more of the crisp pear and grass notes to come through but it just fell a bit short of my expectations. Overall its a very nice smelling perfume and a good soft launch into wearing a patchouli fragrance, i just personally find it a bit boring. I plan to use it as my placebo fragrance when i am in between bottles of other perfumes.

ppalm

its mostly pear and patchouli and wouldn't appeal to me except for the toffee note which comes out in the heat. its like a pear crisp. very yummy, but it only appears for me after I have had it on and it warms up. i've used up my travel size and I'm not running out to buy another one, but i did enjoy it every once in a while. I may restock eventually.

BougieSh3

I'm on my third bottle of JC; been wearing this for years. This perfume was my intro to patchouli and I've been in love every since. 😍 A little goes a long way, so go easy on the trigger if your nose is sensitive to strong scents. 10/10

Malinda666

Didn´t like it at first, but after reading the notes i sniffed it again and fell in love. The pear is significant in the beginning, so is the patchouli, which gives this fume a powdery touch. I usually don´t like patchouli, it´s cloying
I don´t think it has so much resemblence with Flowerbomb though.

neznaso

It gives me a headache.

jazzscent13

This grew on me… initially the patchouli threw me off. But once developed on this skin the pear and toffee note really shines..,you just have to give it a few minutes to develop. The staying power is great also

lulu169

it's a sweeter dupe for coco mademoiselle. not as refined though.

Tori1994

This is a beautiful perfume, I would say. The dry down is sexy and sweet.

LindaL100

I'm not a huge fan of Jimmy Choo's fragrances for women, there are a few that I really like but most of them I've tried are rather mediocre to downright bad, and this is sadly one of the worst fragrances from JImmy Choo and 1 of the worst perfumes I've ever tried overall. This fragrance is suppose to smell sweet but when I sprayed it on a testing paper it smells very spicy to me and it's not a pleasant spicy smell either, and it smelled even worse when I tested it on my skin. I much prefer the EDT version, the EDT smells much nicer. I think Jimmy Choo's fragrances for men in general are much better than his fragrances for women, I love most of his fragrances for men, but there are very few of his fragrances for women that I actually like.

Gizemm9

I bought this many years ago. I liked its smell on the paper, but I can't stand the smell of this right now. I think it is too sweet for me. It gives me a headache, so it's a no no for me!

Ayeshaahmed

At first it seems a very durable scent but it gets very overpowered by middle notes and base notes which makes me hate it. Not going to purchase again. Waiting for the bottle to get finished.

smellylorenny

I was attracted by the bottle, very curious to test it out as I felt the accords would yield something of interest to my personal tastes (woody, sweet, spicy, caramel... the toffee piqued my interest) and yet when i sniffed this, I felt my mouth twist into a deep grimace. I think it's the confusion of these sticky scents mixed in with the aquatic and baseless 'green' notes that just turned me off. I dumped my test strip in the wastebasket and walked away. Disappointed. Perhaps my opinion would change if I were to wear it, but I was indisposed to linger, and to let this scent linger in case it would only further disappoint me.

I'm realising now I didn't give it a proper chance to evolve... Perhaps I'll go back to the chemist and spend some more time with it. I just hate having the workers with the keys stand around looking at me while I try to figure a scent out. Just let me sniff in peace, please!

CarmenNola23

Jimmy Choo opens caramel candies and peary apple and I think this is the reason I tend to wear mostly in the fall/winter months. It’s sweet, but not the innocent sweet of a spring day. This is meant for crisp cool weather and plans for a night out. Once the sweet candied apple settles it becomes this lovely balanced toffee patchouli dream. I don’t get distinct floral notes as much as I get juicy red berries, but not in a cheap body spray way. There’s something earthy and complex in the base that doesn’t make it too overwhelming however you should spray once, maybe twice, then put it down. I think because it’s delicious it is tempting to keep spraying but you’ll find yourself wanting to come up for air. Massive sillage and stellar longevity. It’s been a keeper for me for over 10 years.

Hautechic

This is the greenest smelling perfume I have but yet still sweet. It’s just so unique and wearable at the same time. To me, it reminds me of bamboo and I’m not sure why cause it doesn’t really smell like bamboo. It’s a more mature scent and I always think of wearing it when I want something very fitting for spring because of the green almost mossy scent. Highly recommend if you want something different in your collection.

pichi-hime

I like how this smells - the pear really comes through on me. If I were 19 this would be perfect, but it is a bit too teenagerish smelling for me. Something about it just reminds me of the early 2000s, I don't know how to explain it.

ash45365

I like it, it’s a sharp sour sort of green smelling perfume. I can make out the pear in it. Someone at work today told me I smelled like a man though :p

SaraZigova

Patchouli bomb

Gyps

I’m glad this one was cheap as I’m in agreement with @ca$hm3re below. I’m wearing it now and even though I know it’s there it’s like it isn’t. I’m waiting for something to happen but unfortunately I think I’m waiting in vain. It seems to be very well blended as I can’t really pick out any notes. Quite a strange scent really. Will come back and edit if there are any changes.

zoyalindsey

I love it. I just want to smell it over and over on my skin. I like sweet fragrances but this one has a kick to it, it smells so unique that I can recognize from a mile away

EuniceMine

I owned this fragrance back in 2009… it was beautiful , the patchouli and pear gave it a small spicy flowery scent, while the toffee added a softy creamy vanilla touch. Earthy at the same time. None of the notes were over powering each other, I used to work at a bank and received lots of compliments when I wore it. I want to repurchase it and give it a try again, I do own the EDT and is more of a fresh pear scent, they DONT resemble each other in any way because edt is for daytime, every day scent and lasts 4 hours tops. And this one was more sophisticated, mature, rich scent. Gave me an easy 12-14 hour projection. But am talking about 2009-2011 time frame, not sure how the formula will be on this new batches.

Edit 1/29/23 I ordered it from Jomashop and am sad to say, the formula is NOT THE SAME as it used to, I remember the powdery sweet pear I used to smell now is super light, you still get most of the the notes, but most of it is alcohol and only lasts 2 hrs tops. Yes it’s original and yes it’s EDP. Jomashop promises to have all authentic perfumes so if it’s original, then I won’t repurchase once it’s all gone, just not worth the money anymore

ca$hm3re

Can’t place my finger on why but I just find this scent a bit meh.

Not sure, but maybe it’s because it’s so well blended, that nothing stands out for me😂. It just smells of a scent, and it’s just there existing. It’s not adding anything or doing anything. You can smell it and yet it’s like there’s nothing there.

I’d be really interested to know if I’m the only one who’s experienced this with this scent. If you think it might layer well with other fragrances I own (check my shelf) then please let me know because I want to try make it work for me and yet I’m scared of layering😂

Miss boudoir

Jimmy choo perfume is one of an interesting perfume endeavour... This perfume ages badly and so bitter that is very close to a cheap men's cologne like axe spray .... However people like it...I wonder why they like it so much...it caught my attention in the past...I believe the formula is not good as before when it was released... Jimmy choo stars was more interesting and so strong...I wonder if the pure parfum was better....the drydown is my favourite part maybe two hours later as it lingers... Perfumery has gone so far away from quality and strong emotions and sensuality... Tamara Mellon's contribution to the creation of this perfume by Olivier polge was essential. She had opium by Yves saint Laurent as her favorite perfume at the time... However this perfume is a shadow of opium...I respect every perfume creation but I don't understand the fuss about this perfume... maybe, is it because soki London likes it so much? I like Sophie and her perfume reviews but I believe that this particular perfume has something that other perfumes did not give me. .the urge to create art...which comes as no surprise since Olivier polge the perfumer of Chanel created this perfume. .he was a great piano player before perfumery won his love, but still you can feel his love for music and art through his perfume creations...very interesting 🤔

lauren1nader

Treasury Dark Musky. Jimmy Choo is definitely my signature sent!

Lavagirl66

This perfume doesn't deserve the hate it gets on this site, and despite being over 10 years old, I find it is still a relevant addition to any perfume collection. Finding it at a bargain price and highly recommended by Youtube perfume reviewer sensation Soki, I purchased a bottle to see what it's all about. And yes, the opening notes are a saccharine candy like sweet pear which under normal circumstances I would find unbearable, but these notes immediately dissipate leaving behind a mouth watering fresh and juicy sweet pear note. I would have no problem wearing this every day to work or out and about as it's really pleasant, quite versatile, and an easy reach. Just bear in mind that the opening note is indeed loud but lasts only a minute or two...

PlanetGrl

I purchased a bottle and sold it almost straight away at a loss no less, so gross did I find this. I got absolutely no pear, certainly no toffee, nothing floral or sweet at all to balance the nose-stinging astringency of what I think is the patchouli. Maybe the bottle had gone off? I hope so. I finally tried this after hearing Soki London sing its praises for years, but wow was this a regrettable buy.

Axxn

I recently bought this and it’s amazing. Sweet yet seductive, makes me feel beautiful!

mizz_g0at

I don't think this is the most interesting or unique perfume, but for some reason, it is one I get the most comments on. There are days I find this perfume to be too harsh, and others where I love it. The first spray can definitely be pretty off-putting sharp green notes, but it does develop into something gentler over time. I don't see myself de-cluttering this, but I'm not sure if I will buy it again.

Bee-young-ka

I have had this in my collection for at least 10 years and it's always complemented on.
I would love a Star re-release but I will always have Jimmy Choo O. in my collection as a go to
for everything.
Great Gift, day scent, night scent in warm weather.

PuppyFever

If it weren't for the spicy green notes from that minty patchouli, this fragrance would be a solid like. Unfortunately, the parts I dislike about it are just as prominent as the parts I like, and overall this fragrance tickles my nose. I appreciate the strength and longevity though.

Shahrzaad

I love this perfume. It feels so good and cozy to wear it on cold rainy mornings. It’s my comfort perfume for bedtime as well, and on top of that I get lots of compliments every time I wear it. Absolute love!

heleniiis

Too sweet, smells almost chemical. Smells a bit like Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia on me.

hypnoteyes_28

This reminds me so much of V&R Flowerbomb, and for a much better price. Anyone else feel that way?

Sherie91!

I initially loved this fragrance… now not so much. It smells very very mature.

qofb

This is an odd fragrance for me, I have very mixed feelings about it. Sometimes I've been on the verge of decluttering it because it makes me think of plasters and carpet adhesive. At other times I think it's just sweet, synthetic and cheery. I think really it's the pear making me think of pear drops and ketones and carpet adhesives. I really only smell that along with the super sweetness, piercing "orchid" and the clean patchouli. I've finished my bottle and I won't repurchase, but it had some kind of hypnotic hold over me. It's sweet and fun and projects and lasts.

s0ulmycalibur

I smelled this the 1st time and really liked it. Then, I smelled it today and it just reeked of nail polish remover to me. Too much patchouli!

abbieclark67

Wow! It's incredible! It has a warm aroma and is one of the most seductive perfumes I own. I believe it remains fairly close to the skin. Patchouli is linear and mandarin orange are well matched. It is completely divine. It has a spicy patchouli scent with a modest sillage. Because the perfume entices individuals, they want to lean in and get more personal just to smell it.

BougieGirlShops

This is a pretty perfume, but something about the pear and patchouli pairing is making my stomach roil. In the same way that Mugler Angel does. Not that they are the same in any way, but I don't think super sweet with patchouli work for me.

It's very one dimensional on my skin, very saccharine sweet and artificial vanilla with some patchouli in the background.

This is a good choice for someone who wants a sweet vanillic/floral scent without any woody base, however I am the opposite and like something darker to anchor my fragrances.

Maryjun

I love this perfume! At the beginning I was a bit taken aback by the strong patchouli scent, but after the dry down I completely fell in love with its three predominant notes. This perfume shows us that great marriages do exist, in this case a great "marriage" between pear, patchouli and caramel :)

toastgirl5

I adore this perfume.
It is a patchouli meets toffee meets pear bomb, and its works so well. It smells delicious! Very girly in the best way. Its glamorous, but certainly not pretentious - think of a fun, sexy and confident glamour, over a cold and sophisticated ice queen.
Perfect for girls nights out, disco dancing, second dates, shopping, fashion shows. It is glamorous and fabulous... all the messy delights of your early twenties. Very party girl!
Projection and longevity is excellent, and it is a good price point. Age range could be any, though would suit fun and playful personalities the best. I believe I served a middle aged woman wearing this at work and it really suited her.

Bubbly-B

It smells EXACTLY like Marks & Spencer New York.

😍 Love the blend of toffee and Patchouli. It's so alluring 💋❤️

tazzywazzy

to me, this smells like flowerbomb with a note of nail polish

hijolsi

First spritz, it smells like an opened spice cabinet. You'll get past that when you smell the dry down of a sensual, warm scent. I love this perfume. The lasting power really is something else. Definitely smell myself throughout the day. I work in the office and move in my seat from time to time so I get a whiff of myself because I love it. Definitely worth it.

gpaisley

Jimmy Choo, to my nose, smells almost identical to Bath and Body Works LITTLE BLACK PARTY DRESS. It is a beautifully blended mix of sweet patchouli, baby powder/talc, and honey. Other scents that are similar include, NICOLE by Nicole Richie, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, Narciso Rodriguez for her, and Tempting by Sofia Vergara.

Fatima1219

I gifted this lovely fragrance to my beautiful Mother, along with some nice strappy-heeled sandals for Christmas. This was at the time of the fragrance’s launch. I went to Macy’s for the sandals because that was her Christmas wish, but—when I smelled the Jimmy Choo, I knew she had to get two gifts. Mama is gone now, but I still have the fragrance. It has aged well over time—it actually smells even better than when I first purchased it. Beautiful!

missmaddiemac

I bought this in my VERY early days of my perfume obsession and it was one of my first bad blind buys. I got it because this fragrance YouTuber loves this perfume and it was a very good lesson for me that I’m not going to love every single perfume someone else does. No matter how good they make it sound… It’s all toffee and patchouli for me and not a good kind or patchouli. Like a dirty patchouli rather than more understated and earthy.

I work in fragrance at a department store and I find that people who like this perfume also like Angel, Angel Muse, Flowerbomb, and La Vie Est Belle. Basically, any tooth-achingly sweet fragrance with a strong patchouli base.

Hunnynpink

Patchouli heavy at first but then sweet and peppery.

frangiris

I wanted to like this, and I must say the scent is nice, but it gives me a headache, probably due to the toffee and pear combination.

Dani83

Absolutely stunning my absolute favourite fragrance it suits all occasions all wethers all everything it’s sweet, sexy and musky and nothing else compares to it

Dragonweengs

I got the same nail polish remover scent as reviewer Gioia's secret. Except that nail polish scent didn’t go away. Same for the one in the red cap. I thought it might’ve been the perfume samples!

I really was intrigued by the pear & praline notes. I usually don’t mind patchouli but I didn’t even want to test it on my skin after the opening!

Anitanita.

Synthetic and sweet .Mainly I can smell pear and something sweet, I know cashmere is not listed but I swear I can smell it .
Long lasting and compliment getter . If you like this one you must try Jimmy Choo Exotic😍😍

Krem4e363

Отврат.. Много остър и натрапчив парфюм 🤮

juliausa

This is my go-to perfume: warm, sweet and smooth, without being overwhelming or clingy. I do have to say that first 5-10 min sweetness hits you in the face, but after it settles , it is as close to perfection as it gets. Patchouli, pear, orchid and sweet notes are blended so well together - it is simply beautiful and it last forever on my skin (12h+).

ajrose

I’m a patchouli lover and I’ve been wanting to try this one for some time. I finally purchased a bottle and I am so happy! An easy everyday wear with an addictive dry down. The toffee patchouli dry down is warm and cozy.

SomebodyToKnow

I'm a 23 male and i work at a huge perfume store. This is easily one of my favourites! I love the deep smoky patchouli accord. This screams night time sensuality and mysterious seductive vibes. I just love it.

Dani83

My signature scent I just love ❤️ it’s sweet but also smells like clean skin to me the lasting power is amazing one squirt lasts me the whole day I could quite happily just have this and givenchey irresistible in my fragrance collection

nonelle

This really surprised me! It's sweet, but the pear note makes it a bit lighter. Normally I don't like caramel notes (I'm not a fan of Viva La Juicy for example), but I grew to love this. The longevity is outstanding. I sprayed this in the early evening and when I woke up the next morning I could still smell the perfume on me.

It's really affordable and long-lasting which makes it an amazing find!

Gioia's secret

This fragrance is very tricky, when you just spray it, it smells like nail polish and it freaked me out, so I just straight away have thrown that blotter. At my other perfume store visit, I have just kept a blotter in my hand for few minutes and sniffed it again, it surprised me how beautiful it was.
You know some fragrances reflect you and your personality, or it makes you be someone that you want to be like, just like fashion style, that amplify your personality traits or give some of them that you don’t have. So I put this fragrance on my wishlist but however I can’t say that this fragrance reflects my personality, whenever I smell it, it’s just like to put on someone’s clothes, they are good, but not yours.

Scentsational93

Jimmy Choo has a great mix of sweet and fresh. I pick up mostly toffee and pear in this perfume and find its a great transition between light summery scents and heavier winter ones. I must admit I don’t love when I first spritz it as I get a distinct liquorice-like scent which is not pleasant but this settles after about 15minutes and the dry down is beautiful.

sophie sanderson

I've tested this perfume 2 or 3 times and their is just some thing about it that is rl off putting like some thing smells off like there is a note in it that doesnt smell very nice no idea what it is but it's not very nice I would not buy it and I would not be able to wear it

Pinkangel99

Love this perfume I’ve rebrought lots of times, something addicting about it, it’s very recognisable, I love the orange and patchouli notes

Asoss

Fresh, but poor longevity. Average summer scent, unoffensive and common.

AmakeNyasha

The intial spray i got nail polish but after about 5 minutes it changed to be a real nice scent.
I blind bought it because if Soki London but i think i was mislead over hyped for nothing.I want choo is always the best in the jimmy choo range for me.

Lauren32

This is full on. I love it about 4 hours after I've sprayed it. The chypre can be a bit cloying in the first few hours... Definitely a fragrance for a winter evening. I made the mistake of wearing it to the office. This is not an office friendly scent 😅

SarabeineHoney

To me it smells like spicy cotton candy (or the pink swirl bathbomb by lush) and im in loveeeeeee!!

Perfumes_d'Elle

This is just an ok perfume to me. Its sweet and fruity with a slight tang but nothing special. Lasts decent but the smell just doesnt wow me. It would be good as a first designer perfume but if you want Jimmy Choo try I Want Choo, its a much more complex and yummy scent.

Age: 15-30
Type: Sweet fruity
Price: cheap
Day or night: day

Unruly Julie

Green notes and toffee? No thanks, I'll pass.

Yllowstar7

This reminds me of a gross between angel muse EDT and Britney Spears Fantasy Intense version. It starts sweet fruity. I guess Britney’s is more fruity. But i get a chocolate note maybe it is the toffee and I also get patchouli. Dry down reminds me of angel muse ETD but angel muse has a mint note to my nose. It also reminds me of DG the only one but I could not stand it because the sweet note was syrupy and overpowering. So if you like any of this three then you will enjoy Jimmy Choo. Def a keeper for me. It stayed on my skin for over 8 hours silage was not great but I also did not over spray since I work in an office and was not sure if this was an office scent. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Ok after a few times of trying this since the weather has been cool and crappy I can add that I get that aquatic note! I thought I was loosing it.. kept smelling myself and my clothes thinking I was smelling my sweater with a diff perfume on it or maybe my laundry detergent? But I was right! I came just to see if there was an aquatic note and sure it’s there! I’m still smelling myself even after I showered. So happy I got this!

I like to think of this as my “spring gourmand.” The opening is very citrus and fruity with a slight green touch from the patchouli. The toffee shows up in the dry down making it perfect for day or night. Long lasting and amazing price, 9 out 10.

coffeefifofum

EDP: The accords are right. Sweet and patchouli dominate with a fruity floral background. Drydown is a basic perfumy scent. Office safe.

EDT: The notes are right. Top notes are more like aldehyde than green and pear, imo. Middle as orchid I believe just because orchid is such a faint and less "floral" floral and that's what I'm getting here. Base is faint and vaguely sweet but not as sweet as I'd expect from toffee. Wearable. Office safe.

pweedyadel

I know toffee is listed as a note in this perfume but on my skin, I get pear 🍐 and patchouli. It has a lil bit of oil in it so you kinda see the sheen on your body when you spray this. There are some perfumes that burn my skin slightly when I spray them and this happens to be part. I remember this used to be on every girl’s perfume collection but now I don’t know if it’s still being hyped. Jimmy Choo EDP is heavy and heady so you might want to slow down on the sprays. Great for a date night and very mass appealing but unfortunately it didn’t work magic on me and that is why I let this go after so many years.

kawhilol

This is my go-to first date scent! Men tend to compliment this one. I actually usually hate patchouli but for some reason this particular combination works really well on my skin. It's a very uncomplicated, straightforward gourmand that is slightly seductive but still very friendly and approachable. The slightly darker presence of the green notes help prevent this scent from being too sweet and sickly. A very easy no-brainer for me when I don't have anything else to wear at night. I think a lot of "sexy" scents that are heavier tend to lean more mature, but I'm in my early 20s and still find this suitable for a lot of occasions and I don't feel like I'm out of my depth.

On me, the performance is stellar, which is a huge plus. I can always still smell it on myself the next day. The drydown is incredible, soft caramel and cotton. Plus, I think the price is super reasonable for the quality and performance!

Gabija_me

I bought it blindly, after reading so many good comments.
I was trying to fall in love with this scent, but didn’t have this luck. Now it’s just staying in the corner. Could not get used to it. Too sweet, too heavy.

Ninalovesclassy

THE BEST HIDDEN GEM. Hands down.
Please, if you havent heard of it, or tried it, check it out!
I got it as a birthday present a few years ago and it is just intoxicating. To me this is the epitomy of a night out. As a 23-40 years old lady, this is a georgeus sexy scent for a date night or bar, my signature for years. It is a beast when it comes to longevity and projection. Even on my skin where nothing lasts, this holds up for more than 6 hours which is quite impressive for me.
I am not good as a describer of scents but to me this smells like a sexier version of Viktor&Rolfs Flowerbomb, with a very naughty background hint of Black Orchid by Tom Ford (the mandarin, orchid and patchouli I guess). It is just sooo good.
Also a compliment getter. One of my forever fragrances.

Mörköpeikko

Pear, patchouli and caramel! Oh, jummy yum yum!
I love it! I want to drink it!
I wear this almost exclusively during autumn, or as a transitional fragrance between winter and spring.
It is sugary, so bevare, if you no likey!
This is a keeper for me. Yup!

alatchka

My reviews are usually in story format as opposed to reviews. I have no story for this one. As a matter of fact, I dont remember how I acquired it, how much I paid for it or if I paid for it. Could have been a gift, a blind buy off of eBay because it was a two-fer with another fragrance of just a fragrance I stumbled upon at our community 's Church thrift shop. The howz, when and where dont really matter. What matters is that I dug this out of the back of my perfume vault and fell in love. What a gorgeous scent!!! And it checks all the boxes...great longevity, great silliage, not too costly, nice bottle and a major compliment getter. Any woman will tell you that it is more important to get compliments from other women then men. Women can be jealous, catty creatures so to garner compliments on your fragrance, your hair, your make up, your fashion style from another gal speaks louder than any a man could give you. A man really doesn't care what you are wearing, if you are following the latest trends or what you smell like as long as you're clean, lol. Well, maybe not even that, LOL! A compliment from another woman really means something. And although I have had quite a few men ask me about this fragrance, the women beat that total times 100! Ladies, go and get you some!!!

Edit: It just dawned on me what this fragrance reminds me of...Sean John's Unforgivable Woman. SJUW was my first venture into celebrity fragrances with a $5.99 bottle of the body spray from a Ross store. Never in a million years would I thought I would wear any modern day's celebrity fragrance but I have acquired a few that I've really come to adore. I'm a old fashioned girl, opting for vintages that my favorite classic movie stars or "celebrities" and artists wore. Anything past the 1970s (fashion, automobiles, architecture, film, music, etc.) doesn't really interest me. But I'm coming around with the fragrances. Although you will never spot me with a designer's or celebrities name emblazoned across my chest...what?...free advertising for them?...showing off for me?...no thank you!

Smell like a warm hug

I bought this before smelling the dry down and I realized I can't stand the patchouli. Very good scent if you like patchouli-heavy scents, but this is just not for me.

ClaraDelValle

I wore this in my early to mid twenties, and really enjoyed it. I remember it being sweet and quite strong. I think there are quite similar things out there now, and this doesn't smell particularly unique or different, but it's very nice all the same. Reminds me of Flowerbomb, from memory.

Katie <3

Jimmy Choo EDP and Jimmy Choo Fever are perfection. I can't stop smelling my wrist.
I love Jimmy Choo fragrances. 😍

VMonster

This has been on my list for a long, long time. At first I was not wowed, I got a lot of juicy fresh pear and green notes but as the scent has dried down (~30 minutes) it’s a soft toffee patchouli with a hint of sweetness/freshness. I get tired of hearing how much people dislike patchouli, I guess I like it in pretty much everything since I like Angel by Mugler, the mother of all patchouli perfumes. Patchouli gets a bad rep and it makes me feel sad for her; all she does is add rich vibes to everything she touches. Jimmy Choo is very, very good. It also smells familiar, like I’ve smelled it out & about or something. It brings back memories of going out to bars in my 20s. This is a sexy scent, but I also think it could work for daytime. Unsure about seasonality but I do think this one could be cloying at extreme temps.

TheFancyNancy

This is perfection!
I received this as a Christmas present from my sister in law in 2017. I didn't like it at the time, so I kept it in the box.

However, it slowly started growing on me and has now become my go-to. This is perfect for day or night and all occasions.

Dirty, patchouli heavy opening which eventually dries down to a something reminiscent of what I imagine expensive pear wine to smell like.

helenearne

It's one of those scents that just get better and better the more you smell it. It's spicy and comforting yet fresh - a combination I really enjoy!
I LOVE it!!

myna17

I got many compliment by wearing this. I truly love her. <3

Elle's Bells

One of my all time faves! I have an earlier release of JC and it has aged beautifully. I only wear this perfume at night as the patchouli is so comforting and luxurious. Not sure if they've reformulated, but I have only 1/4 bottle left and I probably won't repurchase sadly.

costumess

It's sweet and quite ordinary. I'd say it's also not offending. In my case, the sample didn't convince me at first, but then, due to its size, I took it on vacation. The fragrance began to smell completely different there and I decided to buy a full package. I still can't say it's my favourite, but it doesn't smell like nail polish remover I think. :) For some reason it reminds me of Dolce Vita by Dior, which was my mum's beloved scent back in time. Maybe that's why I find it cozy&comfortable.

lihik

This is so strange! It smells very spicy and sharp, and on me it smells so much like "Euphoria" from Calvin Klein, which I absolutely hate, but for some reason I like the Jimmy Choo version more. I don't know, I need to keep testing it and see if I grow to absolutely love it or absolutely hate it.

pheeatrixkiddo

Absolutely not the perfume to wear if you don’t like patchouli. But if you can handle a strong patchouli note, this is THE patchouli bomb to try. It’s spicy, shamelessly sexy, but kind of sweet. Aggressively loud, and aggressively itself. I can definitely see how it’s off-putting to people because patchouli is divisive and in this perfume especially it stands front and center. There’s no way around it. It’s a much deeper scent than just that, though.

The orange note keeps it a little spicy, the pear is kind of juicy, the orchid adds some mystery, and the toffee sweetens everything out, but the dirty patchouli is the main star of the show, and it lasts all day. I was obsessed with sniffing my wrist trying to figure this perfume out when I first tried a sample, and now that I have a full bottle I still find myself sneakily smelling myself and smiling, or catching a whiff of it on a sweater while I’m doing laundry and putting the whole damn thing to my face like a lovelorn teenager. I just really like it, I guess. The girls who get it get it, and the girls that don’t… might get headaches from it, if the reviews are anything to go by, I’m so sorry.

A good grab on nights when I want an extra boost of confidence. Especially gorgeous in the cold. One spray is enough, maybe two if I’m feeling really bold.

Mariamaija Amélie

Nail polish remover at the very beginning, then be patient and wait for that to pass, because after a short while, this one becomes gorgeous.

I was so put off by that start, that I almost decluttered this right away, but! now, on my skin, there lingers a wonderful pear note mixed with the patchouli you have to appreciate if you are considering trying this one, and a sweet, delicious caramel and some vanilla as well. This is delicious. Now I can't stop smelling my wrist, and had you asked me in the beginning when having sprayed this on me, if I had thought that particular outcome possible, I would have said no way. What a nice surprise that was.

The longevity is really disappointing, though, so I mostly use this as a late night scent

yunoh

I wanted to love this so much. I can mostly smell the toffee and patchouli but I can't really say I love it. It's just meh.

RavensRedd

I wish I could smell the pear and toffee. That sounds heavenly. Unfortunately all I can smell is a really gross patchouli note. I hate patchouli so it ruins everything if it’s present. I wish someone could make a pear/toffee perfume without patchouli. Smells like expired multivitamins 🤮

monamostafa212013

I really couldn't get past the initial spray of this perfume! dirty patchouli all the way through. it's not a safe blind buy at all.

k444yls

Smells EXACTLY like snow fairy by lush on my skin. 10 mins after I sprayed it I couldn’t believe what I was smelling.

Dhayana

This perfume has given me negative comments time and time again... I would only wear it because it was all I had in one broke time of my life. My aunt gave it to me and I thought it was ok in the bottle but once out it was a dirty patchouli monster NO SWEETNESS (on me) I was a server and costumers would tell me I smelled too strong. My coworkers would complain to me to the point of gifting me a new perfume to wear instead. They got me Meow by Katy P by the way 💗I don't recommend this as a blind buy.You want to repeal some people or mosquitoes then this is for you.
• Rihanna Reb'l Fleur is the only patchouli sent I can handle

HYLAS

I discovered this fragrance in a 2011 Marie Claire magazine, and at first found the "scratch and sniff" quite overpowering and unappealing. But that magazine sat on my bookshelf for years and, over time, I really gravitated towards this scent, finally deciding to purchase a small sample and, well, it's been my signature scent ever since - now reminding me of places I have travelled across the world while wearing it. Nostalgic for both me and my partner, who loves the scent himself.

I don't know how I would feel about Jimmy Choo were I to smell it again for the first time. All I know is it's one that grew on me, and I have never grown tired of it in the 9+ years I have worn it.

Upon first spraying you are greeted with a spritz of what I can only describe as green apple (actually pear). Next comes a wash of sweet burnt-sugar/cotton candy (this is the toffee note, an absolute winner), which lingers all day, even into the next morning!

In short: a subtle, sexy, flirtatious scent!

Dawnya7b

I was surprised to see that acetone was not listed as one of the notes. The dry down is pure nail polish remover. The opening was good then boom nail polish remover

Cloud_9

CAUTION: SMELLS LIKE NAIL POLISH REMOVER.

pearsonns

The patchouli is suffocating. I ordered this, sprayed it once, and spent twenty minutes trying to get it off my skin. Even dried down I get zero toffee or anything pleasant. Will be sold as soon as I can find the box. Bottle is cute as he11 though but u still can't justify keeping it lol

itscaroline

I didn't know they made nail polish perfume. This smells like nail polish

Rayan Abusrour

One of my all time favorites. It's like a patchouli and toffee bomb ❤ you get the pear at first, which is really pleasant. I get plenty of compliments wearing this.
Ps. Smells amazing in colder weather 😍

Geminihoney

This is nice, you absolutely smell the pear and patchouli in this perfume. I reach for this when I’m going somewhere and I don’t want to use my expensive perfumes, it’s definitely a quick and easy perfume to choose and wear

AMMILLER

Soki made me buy it :) it's definitely not my style but it does smell good! Warm, almost figgy, the pear is prominent in the opening and it reminds me of the jelly beans I used to get at Easter as a kid. Sweet, and thick and a little cloying, like the smell of too much random candy. It smells good, I especially like it on my daughter or on a scarf, just not on me.

brietexas

I find this more interesting than the Fever flanker. Lots of pear but it's balanced with patchouli. While it's sweet, there's also a nice, crisp, sharp note that grabs your attention. I wish there was less pear and maybe something else. Nice and a little different from the norm.

I gravitate to these because the bottles are so pretty.

keithscents

This is a true patchouli bomb. I want to like it but it is so strong and super headache-inducing for me. I would see this being appreciated by women in their 30s because it gives that sophisticated but mature vibes. Sold this after giving it a lot of chances, it smells nice but not for me.

Rating this 3/10

Perfumedsecrets

When this came out I thought it was another Flowerbomb sibling, but it’s a patchouli bomb compared to it. Evidently more popular in Europe than the US. Sexy! Be careful with sprays. The cap is not good. Feels cheap and doesn’t click on nicely. I do like the bottle design.

Judidit

I have had this for almost a year now. It is only a like for me, but a simple grab and go now in late fall. I can never quite make up my mind if it smells muddy or cozy and sexy. If I had smelled it before i bought it Iwould not have given it a chance. But with time I have seen its charm. I will use it up, but not repurchase. Love the bottle though!

BerniMarston97

This I must say is a fragrance with personality. It’s warm, rich, sensuous, alluring, seductive, confident, zesty, sophisticated, and sexy and everything a perfume could be. I loved how it starts with sweet fruity sharpness with strong patchouli and then the heart of perfume invades- orchid. I just love it! The orchid mingles so well with fruity notes here and the toffee notes, the warmth and yummy fragrance is super amazing. I literally crave for it. The sillage is super fantastic as scent will enter room before you. Longevity is superb too as no reapplication would be required. Its great choice for night wear as its flirty and fun but it could be worn in day too. Its fit to any and every season, but best nay be used in winter and fall.

hola gigi

From what I could smell before actually trying on my skin, I thought I would enjoy this. I was looking forward to getting more toffee in the dry down. The performance is also lacking. Even when sprayed on clothing, I didn't smell anything beyond the 1 hour mark. So it's just not a like/love of mine.

la.femme.scent

Purchased this fragrance today and I bought a small bottle (40 mL/1.3 fl. oz) for $35 at Marshall's. I would see Jimmy Choo fragrances at discounter shops but I was never interested because I hadn't heard much about their fragrances like I did their shoes. It was until I heard Soki London from YouTube mention that it was her favorite perfume and that made me want to try it out. So, I tested it out at Ulta and I really liked it.

To me, it's very green and very patchouli dominate. The green notes lean more herbal almost medicinal, like green leaves found in nature, that's used for natural remedies. It's earthy, dark and seductive. It's a little sweet, but my skin doesn't pull out the sweet notes as much. For some reason it reminds me of what I would imagine a love potion to smell like and it gives me goth vibes. And for me, the scent would go with the winter seasons when it's cold and gray and the trees are barren.

Definitely not a blind-but, this is not for everyone; and stay away if you hate patchouli.

Edit: Passed the all night, "sleep wear test". Applied it last night after a shower and was still able to smell it in the morning, so it's long lasting. However its sits close to the skin and not much projection or a trail, not even a scent bubble.

Update (4.3.2022): The more I wear it, the more it smells like a green apple and grape flavored blow-pop. Smells more complex when I sniff it up close, but in the air it simply smells like tart hard candy and bubble gum. It smells like that in cooler weather. In warmer weather it's heavier on the patchouli.

novaklara98

I love this perfume. The patchouli shines on my skin. God, I love patchouli. The pear is in the background, accommpaning it beautifully. It's so sexy, but in an unexpected way. I cannot decide for which season this fits best, and that happens rarely. In winter it's more sensual, in summer it's plain dirty and almost vulgar, in a splendid way. But, its a night/date perfume for sure. I just wish the silage was stronger, and my skin seems to eat it up pretty quickly.

Rhiannandb

I watched alot of reviews on this before I bought it and I was hoping for a toffee pear but it's patchouli pear not gourmand . The pear note in here is delicious though very juicy . But it's all mostly patchouli if you love patchouli this is for you

Ada _La isla Bonita

I love this one. It has layers and full of gentle surprises in each layer. The more it stays on your skin the more sensual it feels. It's got everything I love in it: fruity, exotic flowers and the warm and inviting toffee. Rich, warm and sensual in a subtle kind of way. If you try this perfume among a few others, it will disappear and you wont give it the great value it deserves. It's long lasting and lingers for several hours with a great sillage. It is a signature scent . And the bottle, like a piece of jewel !Sadly can't find it any more where I live. Zara "Fleur de Patchuli" smells like a softer version of this perfume. They are very similar with a huge difference in sillage and longevity.

Jenla

It’s definitely not as gourmand as the notes may make it seem, but I still absolutely love this scent and have for years. It sticks to my skin and clothes forever, and for how easy it is to find on sale or at a bargain price it’s worth the money in my eyes. It’ll always be my everyday for the colder days/months.

Caraanzara

When I first got this, I absolutely loved how strong and long lasting it is. I find it great for all seasons including summer. To this day this perfume is the best when it comes to longevity and sillage, out of all the perfumes I have owned and tried. One spray lasted me over 48 hours on my skin. I loved the lovely pear note which soon went away, unfortunately the patchouli makes me nauseous after the third time I wore it. I can't bring myself to ever wear it again. It's NOT a safe blind buy. 10/10 for longevity and sillage though, and although I got compliments the 3 times I wore it out, I can't see myself every reaching for it again. It's a complex fragrance with a good price point so if it works well for you I'm jealous!

lanya

I'm so disappointed. Based on the notes and reviews, of course I was expecting a gourmand. Immediately after smelling it, I wished I didn't put it on. It's a pleasant smell just not for me. On me, it smells very green. I like patchouli, but this is like patchouli concentrate. My friend said it smelled like a unisex male fragrance. Lasted for about 10 hours before it became a skin scent . After 14 hours, I started to smell some sweetness maybe from the toffee. Definitely wasn't what I was expecting.

M1tsouko

When I first smelled this in a vial, it smelled very similar to Coco Mademoiselle, which my mom wore as a signature scent a while ago. I definitely can smell the mandarin orange, patchouli, and orchid that's in this scent, but I can't smell the toffee. This fragrance is definitely very strong, even stronger than Coco.

This fragrance is also very mature and heady due to the patchouli and the orange.

Kizzyb93

I have literally just sprayed this for the first time and honestly right now I only get the florals and a heady Patchouly ( very overwhelming) RightNow I don’t know what my thoughts are on this but I will carry on 😣 using it For the next few days and come back with a full review
UPDATE
I feel like I smelt this everywhere else before , That being said it’s not dislikeable at all it just doesn’t excite me

amandavictoriag

In no way am I implying that this isn't a beautiful stand alone fragrance, but for my vanilla lovers, do yourself a favor a mix this with Kayla Vanilla 28 and you have yourself a sex bomb. Thank me later.

NDStars

First blast of knife sharp boozy fruit which then into super overly chemically sweet banana candy.. is there ylang ylang in this? The opening is rather harsh and overbearing but it mellowed into something green and warm sugar sweet in the drydown. A very weird combination to be sure and yet I can stop smelling my arm. It's like eating cotton candy on a fresh rainy spring day. I think I like it. Feminine and would work in all weather I think.
