Karl Lagerfeld Paradise Bay For Women by Karl Lagerfeld is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. Karl Lagerfeld Paradise Bay For Women was launched in 2015. Karl Lagerfeld Paradise Bay For Women was created by Serge Majoullier and Cecile Matton. Top notes are Litchi, Pineapple and Peach; middle notes are Magnolia, Rose and Jasmine; base notes are Musk, Vanilla and Sandalwood.

In 2015 the Karl Lagerfeld collection adds another fragrant pair, named Paradise Bay, in flacons in the same form as last year’s fragrances Karl Lagerfeld For Her and Karl Lagerfeld For Him. The women’s floral-green fragrance is composed by perfumers Serge Majoullier and Cécile Matton, while the men’s aromatic-woody edition is signed by Jean-Christophe Hérault. The new perfume pair tells the story of a beautiful bay with glittery sand, a heavenly beach, which is a true secret hiding place, hidden far from the rest of the world. The two perfumes represent different styles which complete each other perfectly.

Karl Lagerfeld Paradise Bay for Women offers intense fruity notes of litchi and pineapple in opening notes, adding juicy and velvety peaches. The heart blooms with feminine floral notes of jasmine, rose and magnolia, resting on accords of vanilla, musk and sandalwood. The perfume can be purchased as 25 and 45 ml Eau de Parfum. Fragrant duo Karl Lagerfeld Paradise Bay can be expected in sale starting from March 2015.

This was recommended to me at a pharmacy. She said it's currently in at that time and it took me a long time to finish the bottle. I was spraying it to freshen up the toilet after use. I couldn't stand wearing it on me.

This was heavy and reeked of pineapple/ heavy roses. It wasn't a nice combination and not a very pleasant experience wearing it. However, i made good use of it as a toilet freshner :)

I think it is one of the unique fragrances out there. Cannot describe its smell exactly but it lightens my day.
I am a very tough customer when it comes to perfumes and I have allergies and headaches from some aroma types. This one just stole my heart.
For me it is amazing. Very unique and very lovely. I already used one bottle and cannot wait to buy another one.

Neosmiaphyte

Starts off with a slightly sour litchi and a not-over sweet peach. It is heavy on the pineapple. Linear, tropical. It has white flower hidden late in the wear.

mjagosti

Very nice. Fresh summery tropical scent

senalica

Starts fresh and sweet - peach, pineapple and some flower notes, quite nice at first. And then the powdery/sandalwood note shows up and takes over. Not sure if it's just my skin, but the powdery note takes away the freshness that this fragrance initially has. Doesn't work for me.

Anywho

Paradise Bay bursts open sweet, fruity and floral in quite a pleasant way. It is sweet but not in confectionary style. I detect the pineapple right away and get that tropical feel. This is what I would have wanted Strenesse by Gabriele Strehle to smell like (even though it's not a bad scent), but where Strenesse feels more aloof and restraint, PB is more friendly, playful and outgoing. I have tested PB only on paper strip and on my clothes so far. After a while the fruits settle down a bit on paper and clothes, mingling nicely with the flowers and musk. In the dry down things start to differ; on paper PB takes on a screechy, soapy turn minus everything else which I don't like at all, but on clothes the scent remains the same as in the middle, just much softer. All in all not a bad scent for everyday casual use n summer or on a holiday, especially if you prefer fruity sweet scents that don't smell like you are standing in a candy store. Projection is medium and longevity is a good 3-4 hours on clothes.

Litchi and white floral, no peach or pineapple to me. Would have loved to detect the latter, might have made a difference. As is, too bland, light and not really tropical in my interpretation of what that should smell like.

Karl, Karl, please stop releasing perfumes, this industry is not just your thing.
I mean, you are an awesome designer, top notch, I cannot think of more elegance and chic than your clothes I unfortunately cannot afford.
But I can afford perfumes, but yours are just not up to even my humble standards.
I bet you are not personally involved in these creations, you have sold the rights to somebody else who is ruining your reputation. Please stop this rampage and take them off the shelves for good!
Thks.

Another boring perfume. It sems to be a trend lately for KL. I would love a female version of classic. I guess that's why I keep buying KL in hope that I will be as smitten as I am with the male classic!

Got it in the mail today, it was a blind buy.
To me it smells like a lighter version of D&G The one :) For me "the One" was too heavy on the peach note, this one is just right :) lovely, happy, summery..
You can pick the peach at first, then the litchi, the rose, pineapple and the magnolia. Great combo. It's a much younger scent then "the one by D&G". Good for daytime, Spring and Summer. I'll be taking note of longevity.

At first I thought that it's lightly sweet and tropical, but now, few hours later, it has become overwhelmingly sweet and pineapple mixed with magnolia is also not for my taste.
I consider it annoying. I really really don't like pineapple, peach and magnolia togheter. Horrific.
It really surprized me, being so nice at the beginning and so awful a few hours later.

The bottle isn't very cute, but the smell is actually very good. On an overall it is sweet, yet not the overpowering and unbearable kind of sweet. Top notes of peach and litchi are noticeable and juicy, very fruity and inviting. Middle notes i pick up abit of jasmine and abit of rose, not sure about the magnolia for today. And finally not yet had whiff of the drydown but as a vanilla and musk lover, i am sure i would love this. I suggest about 3 sprays on the top of the body to be acceptable. Most likely a moderate longevity or more, been 2 hours from the first spray and still in the middle notes.

Top notes are truly tropical and absolutely pleasant! Finally I've found not too sweet tropical scent - I thought. However, after some time it changed into more floral & vanilla sweet scent. Still, not too sweet! Usually I like sweet scents, but I cannot wear sugar-bombs like La vie est belle. Good news is that Paradise bay is not a sugar-bomb.
Base notes are a bit woody, a bit musky, elegant. All in all, this scent changes a lot while wearing, but it is really nice all the time.

Update: A lot of pineapple! I have to love tropical notes to buy this scent.

margarita.angelova

At first I liked it a lot more but the longer I wear it, the more I realize it's just your typical summer fruity; nothing so special about it. The closer you get to the base notes, the prettier it becomes. It lives up to its name and makes you think of juicy cocktails at a tropical island's beach. Think, not dream.

Nikkafragrance

It's nice and inoffensive frag. Smells tropical, like summer. Very fruity and light.

You havent smellt the scent but you already make a statement that you expected more? Hows that? Also, do you seriously think that a head desinger like Lagerfeld, or Hilfiger actually spends more than 20 mins of his time when such a fragrance is being brought on the market?
