Korloff Gold by Korloff Paris is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Korloff Gold was launched in 2012. Top notes are Big Strawberry, Gardenia and Coconut Blossom; middle notes are Tiare Flower, Frangipani and Jasmine; base notes are Vanila, Musk and Cedar.

Last year, Korloff launched a very successful edition for women Korloff Lady and masculine companions Korloff In White and Korloff Noir (2010), while this year will be dedicated to a new fragrance for women with beautiful composition.

For all fans of exotic notes, the new Korloff Gold should be on your list of fragrances selected for testing! The new fragrance is inspired by precious metal – gold, to which this fragrance is dedicated and reminds of a luxurious jewelry collection.

After several matte, non-seethrough bottles, Korloff Gold shines again in new glow in a transparent flacon with Stylized K letter (logo of the brand), reminding of cheerful butterflies. They are colored in gold and decorate perfectly body of the bottle, leaving an impression of luxury and wealth of the composition. Top notes open with creamy gardenia combined with coconut and strawberry. The heart provides a union of frangipani, tiare and jasmine, while the base intertwines accords of vanilla, musk and cedar.

Korloff Gold has been on the market since 2012, as 88ml EDP (as all other editions).

Много траен, тип бронзовата богиня, доста тиаре, доста ванилия, ако човек обича такива нотки

RomanticRose

Love this beautifully warm and intoxicating fragrance but let down with the longevity and projection - but at this price I’m happy to spray away throughout my day!

Dawnya7b

I recently bought Soleil Blanc by TF and this smells similar, less citrussy and sweeter, also more feminine. I love both. SB lasts longer but... clean moisturized skin will get you at least 8 hours out of this. I could wear this all year, its sweet and floral not like SB love both though but they are super similar I can't believe its not in the reminds me of list

KASSY2GLAM

I absolutely adore this perfume. It is so perfect for the summer time. I just blossoms on the skin in the sun. I wore it with Kayali Vanilla 28 and it's so so good together. It project for the first couple hours, then sits a lot closer to the skin.

Lemon_Candy04

I wanted to buy a strong coconut/tiare perfume for summer, but what a bummer! It just doesn't last long. The only thing that I find interesting and that somehow worked out for me is that it has a sort of 'cosmetic'-like scent. I think that there was at one point, the Body Shop make bronzers that my mom still has and it smells exactly the same. I would wear this to bed or if I just need a short walk out in the summer.

Update: I just bought Alien Goddess by Mugler and that is everything this perfume wants to be and more. I’d say Alien Goddess is a very similar almost identical scent blend to Korloff Gold, but Alien Goddess is stronger, projects better, and smells richer and more expensive. If you own Alien Goddess you do not need this perfume, it will just seem like a cheap body spray compared to your Alien. If you can, save your money for Alien Goddess instead of buying this scent, the performance of it is just too unimpressive.

I had high hopes for this fragrance based on reviews. It's OK, but nothing special. It's a very weak skin scent - I get no projection from it and it seems to fade very quickly. I'd rank it as slightly stronger than a typical BBW beach body spray/mist. Unfortunately, that isn't strong enough for my personal taste. I live in a warm sunny climate with a lot of heat, sand, and no humidity in sight, so I'm always looking for scents that make me feel like vacation and are strong enough to fight through the hot dry climate. I'm always eager to try out less-expensive scents and try to avoid some of the more expensive designer scents, as they perform exceptionally bad in my environment and tend to make me upset when I wear them rather than making me feel happy and luxurious.

I tested this out on a 65 degree sunny day. Upon first spray, i got a light fruity floral that kind of reminded me of Good Girl, and/or a number of floral scents I already own. I got a bit of tiare, but no real coconut, a slight fruitiness but not a distinct strawberry, more generic, not very sweet. Didn't stand out much. Then I showered (tested the scent before in case I didn't like it) and afterward I noticed a faint plasticky woody coconut scent lingering on my skin that was very similar to Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche, but it doesn't project or last, which is the main problem I have with BG I reapplied this perfume HEAVILY - 20+ sprays all over my body and clothing. I think the max projection I can get is about 6 inches off the skin. I need to put my nose on the skin to smell anything. When the scent is freshly sprayed, it’s subtle florals. I get a little coconut as it dries down and the florals fade, but I wouldn't know it was there if I didn't already own/wear Bronze Goddess. I was hoping for a "warm summery coconut sunscreen hidden in a tropical flower garden." Instead I get "watery flowered beach body spray over a lightly scented sunscreen that I only put on my face and has dried down so I don't really smell it much anymore."

Overall, the scent is inexpensive so I don't feel too ripped-off. But I don't really see myself wearing this much unless I'm going to be in an office setting so I don't offend anyone with a loud fragrance. It's a very safe scent and doesn't seem to screech, choke, burn, or sneeze anyone out. It won't turn heads though and it isn't magical or transformative, like what I typically look for in my perfumes. I'd recommend it for people who are fans of very light inoffensive floral scents and are looking for an extremely subtle barely-there touch of coconut.

Dawnya7b

Out of all the summer perfumes I have and have tried this is my favorite. It is so smooth and refined. To my nose it smells luxurious. Compared to intense tiare, which is a beast, it’s less floral and more creamy. Its a beauty I even like more than soliel blanc which is the ultimate bougie summer scent for me. Gorgeous and elegant and just makes me feel like I’m am one of those people that don’t have a care in the world when I wear this.

kkaattjjeess

Not bad at all!

Lactonic and waxy floral coconut, indeed not a great perfomer but for the price of it I'm not triggered.

ivadim

Ако обичате кокос, пробвайте го в студена влажна есен, прекрасен е. Много по-красив, отколкото през лятото. Въпреки това, че препраща към други кокосово-тиарени аромати, много е различен.

Nataliemarie

Nice, but fleeting. Very light. I agree w/ the Philosophy Amazing Grace drydown vibe too. Just a bit more like suntan lotion. Montale Intense Tiare is a BEAST compared to this.

DecoElegance

I purchased this as a bedtime scent. Like many of us here, I wear perfume round the clock. I feel wasteful spritzing my more expensive scents before bed, but I find it comforting to fall asleep in a cloud of fragrance. This one is nice! I got it for around $20 on Fragrancenet during one of their 35% off sales. I wouldn't pay more for it, as it wears close to the skin and doesn't last very long. But, I'm asleep a few hours after I spray it anyway, so who cares?!

After an initial coconut blast, I do get a suntan vibe from this. On my skin, it smells like I've just taken a shower and applied sunscreen over body lotion-- a little soapy/clean, a little vanilla, a little spf. Call me crazy, but on my skin, I get a whiff of Philosophy Amazing Grace in the distant background. It's faint, but I smell it. It may be the musk. Mainly, I smell a very clean vanilla. Quite lovely, actually.

This may actually be a good wear-to-work scent. It's not headache-inducing, and it doesn't project much. Just makes you smell nice.

Fraghag7

On this smells almost just like sunscreen. It's very soft and subtle but I'm not sure if I'll keep this. While I do enjoy a good beachy scent this a little literal for me and I don't exactly want to smell like straight sunblock... Or else I would just wear some 🙄
We'll see if my opinion changes once it's actually 100° out.

Ferra_Verto

Big frangipani & tiare notes, with fleshy coconut. There's a distinct wet green tropical note, like warm wet palm or banana leaves, quite distinct. The gardenia is well-blended, it isn't a heavy note. The name is a bit heavy-handed, it should be Korloff Sun or Korloff Summer.

876Beauty

This is a soft smooth well blended, slightly sweet fragrance. I mostly get a beautiful vanilla with a hint of coconut and tiare flowers in the background...The vanilla is sensual and puts me in mind of Mon guerlain for some reason!! The perfume lasts for 3-4 hours on me before needing to reapply. This is warm and comforting so I will be wearing this during summertime cuddle time too! I only wish it lasts longer and has a bit more sillage; otherwise it's a love at first smell!!

kayleenanncooke

This is so creamy and delicious. Honestly the best and most well rounded tropical summer scent I've smelled. Smells like coconut milk with tropical flowers. It lasts pretty well. 6/7 hours but after 2 hours the sillage is close to skin. It's perfect for the heat of the summer because it is not cloying or overpowering. This is perfect for the 90+ degree summer days here in Southern California.

Gemsense

I dont think gold Paris and gold are the sane but on here they are. This just came in the mail today and i am beyond imoressed!!!! This is the obe! This is the perfect coconut beach scent ive been searching for!!! I blind bought so many abd i finally found the one! This is dreamy sensual, creamy, beachy, sexy sweet. Perfection! Im ordering more now, as i will be hoarding these for fear of being discontinued!

MsLittlejohn

OMG, this is beautiful! Coconut isn't strong and over the top, which is a good thing! Hate strong, overly sweet smells like that... In my imagination, this is exactly what a sunset, going into a warm summer evening would smell like. I get all of the notes listed except strawberry, but I only sprayed about a half-hour ago... Sprayed on my inner wrist and inside the crease of my inner arm (where the arm / elbow bends). Getting more florals inside the arm, muskier on the wrist. Definitely an expensive suntan lotion / tropical vibe! AWESOME trade! Thank you, @flamegrass! 😊

Update: While I still love and will keep it, the longevity is poor. Maybe two hours tops, 8 sprays, some on skin, some on clothes. Perhaps using with a body oil will be better?

ptilda

I had a little decant of this given to me, and I tried it several times without looking at the notes or being familiar with it in the least.

At first spray and through the beginning of the development, it gives me a juicy sort of banana vibe. In fact, it's REALLY similar to Jwoww. But this is considerably lighter. I guess it's supposed to be coconut and strawberry, but I could swear it's banana and pear.

Drydown does hint at some tropical florals, but the clear focus is on the fruit. To me, this just isn't a coconut scent really at all. It's more a dry woody vibe with vanilla (how I think they're creating "coconut" here).

That being said, it's a happy, pleasant, thoroughly enjoyable scent. Certainly not on the level of Terracotta, so that sort of confuses me to see that comparison.

I don't have need for a bottle since I have others in this genre that I prefer. But it's a nice tropical.

ivadim

Много красив аромат, същия тип като Terracotta, могат и взаимно да се допълват, ако се носят едновременно. Има отлична трайност. В крайната си база страшно ми напомня на Cartier Baiser Vole Essence

Coffee_Girl

This is 100% better than EL Bronze Goddess to me, and much cheaper =]

xmelldefrag

This gem is getting rare to find now, is it discontinued? I'm not sure...

For me the main note is tiare flower, and then the coconut gives this perfume creaminess, strawberry is there only in the beginning, and using strawberry as an opening concert to tiare flower is sublime.

Longevity is there for about 4 hours and then turn into skin scent that's still detectable for the next 6 hours with moderate silage.

Finally received a half full bottle of it in a swap and I'm so happy about it.I LOVE Korloff Gold and I believe it deserves to be more popularity.sweet milky coconut and sparkly strawberry blend with creamy, tropical flowers, frangipani, tiara and gardenia and give them such a delicious, delightful vibe that is to die for.oh,and very softly powdered vanilla in the base is perfect
It's smooth, bright, feminine and is playful and classy at the same time
I know that there are numerous perfumes in this genre.coconut and some other fruits,a bunch of flowers, clean musky vanilla and that's it.but Korloff Gold is one of the bests in this genre,it's very well-balanced.I love sweet perfumes and gourmands but I agree that a coconut-vanilla perfume can easily pass the boundaries of being cloyingly sweet.Korloff Gold IS sweet and yummy but it's far from being a sickly sweet or overwhelming perfume.some others in this genre are ruined for me with too much lemon or lime,or too much woody notes,or salty aquatic notes.these type of coconut perfumes read as unisex for me.but Korloff Gold is superfeminine and it manages to be elegant and adult while being fun, happy and cheerful
To me it's like a love child of Guerlain Terracotta and Armani Sun di gioia.it inherits best qualities of each of them and adds it with some sparkly strawberrys and an airy clean vibe
It also lasts +6 hours on my skin which is great and however it's smooth and gentle, people standing close to me notice it.it also has a gorgeous bottle and it's reasonable price is another plus
Now I have to try other Korloff perfumes

TittiGritti

Korloff Gold is a gentle perfume, delicious in a non-gourmand way, elegant and sophisticated, BUT (there is a but) it’s just too light, even for Summer. I don’t care about sillage or projection, but I’d love to get at least the pleasure to feel it on my skin. It just lasts for twenty minutes, then nothing, at all. Maybe it’s just my chemestry. Such a shame.

Soofiya

It's been years that I see this pretty, eye catching bottle on korloff stand each time I go to hiland mall but I never tested it!
Once I sampled a feminine korloff perfume (I can't remember which one was it)and hated it so much that I wasn't attracted to this brand anymore (exept Korloff black which I love a will buy it someday for my man)
a good friend of mine has a bottle of Korllof gold and when she saw that I'm curious about it,offered me a sniff.though I didn't know any of it's notes,I didn't expect much and it was a huge, pleasant surprise
These days I'm really craving sunny, beachy scents and I could tell since first sniff that Korloff Gold belongs to that category.it was my first and only test so I can't describe it in a detailed and accurate way just that the first thing that came to my mind was Guerlain Terracotta.I LOVE Terracotta but I felt that I love KG even more!it was like a softer, more creamy sister of Terracotta
I could definitely detect tiare and coconut,I could guess gardrnia and frangipani,I could feel a hint of a sparkly fruity note cutting through it's lush creamyness and I could smell a hint of soft, clean powder as it was settling down.when I checked it here,I was surprised to see my right guesses and it must be because of it's natural, pure, true to life ingredients
I didn't expect such a quality and such a balance from a reasonably priced fume.
It's yummy without being cloyingly sweet or totally gourmand.it's elegant while being sunny and comforting.
It lasted on back of my hand for 4 hours but I had a tiny spritz and I had washed my hands after applying plenty of times so I think it's real longevity is way better
I wanted to save for Tom Ford Soleil Blanche,Annick Goutal Songes,Chanel Beige or D&G Dolce Garden(which is as expensive as the niche ones in my country) but now I feel that before thinking of any other beachy fragrance,I need to have Korloff Gold
Thank you my lovely Fateme for introducing me such a lovely perfume

Vanilla panda

Almost a dupe for Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Now 2016!

Save for the beautiful and realistic strawberry fruit and leaves opening, melding in harmony with gardenia... Gorgeous.

Dry down is almost identical to Very Sexy Now: gentle coconut and clean quality.

Just check my laudatory review on VS Very Sexy Now 2016, since I don't have much more to say about Gold ; )))

Korloff Gold is quieter and understated though, it becomes a skin scent very quickly.
Soft frangipani delicately replacing warm sand.

Same as some other users, I have to douse myself because sillage is faint and longevity is weak.
It's ok to reapply, the scent is far from overwhelming and it's better value than VS's.

Still, I prefer it over the bazillions loud summer frags conveying tropical atmosphere, because it's so elegant and refined.

I haven't tried layering both but that could be an idea, if I want to combine Very Sexy Now longevity with a blast of strawberry and frangipani from Gold for good measure.

PerfumeEmpress

As soon as I saw tiare and frangipani I thought, I must have it.

This is indeed a lovely perfume. The bottle is gorgeous and luxury-like. But ... I have to literally douse myself if I want to get a whiff of it. And then, it goes away in minutes. I envy those who say this is long-lasting, because it is a lovely scent. I wonder if I got a bad bottle, or something. I have to reapply constantly.

What a shame. Fortunately, I paid a low price for it.

MissButterfly

It is all true!
Coconut and tiare in the most sophisticated form. Somewhere between suntan oil type of scent and creamy, inobtrusive vanilla (with strawberry). Among my beachy scents, which I love, this one is the most elegant. Exotic, yet glamorous. Not wild, not careless. Comparing to Terracotta, this one is more creamy, soft; comparing to Bronze Goddess, this one is more mature, more urban. I bought it blind and was quite surprised that tiare and coconut can be used that way. Gold is the perfect name for it. It is a Bronze Goddess in the city.

The longevity is excellent, coconut does the job here.
Must-have for beach scents lovers.

littlepepperz

A very successful blind buy!

I am a fan of beachy scents. I have Bobbi Brown Beach, Coccobello, Bronze Goddess, I love tropical, white florals like Lys Mediterranee, Matin d'Orage, Songes and Gardenia is my favourite flower, even though I have never lived in a tropical climate.

However, there is always a risk that something advertised as 'tropical' and 'exotic/beachy' can smell sickly sweet, cheap and candy-like. There is a fine line and it took me a long time to search left and right for my favourite selection. Encouraged by the reviews - I bought Korloff. And to my relief - it's not that sweet!

Strawberry is noticable. I really don't mind that hint of fruit - it's delicious. All of the lush, white florals are there - tiare, gardenia, frangipani, melted and carefully blended into one, buttery, creamy goodness, but without any of that 'solar sharpness' that can cause headaches and penetrate skulls. They rest on a delicate coconut/vanilla blanket base. It is a skin scent.

I cannot wait for it to blossom in the heat. It's a fruity, distant relative of Songes and Crystal Noir and will make a delicious skin-scent for spring/summer.

Lybarra118

Oh, I like this! I completely agree with SillySue below.
This is a sophisticated gardenia/frangipani/coconut/vanilla scent. I don't get the strawberry though, but that doesn't mean it's not there. Projection seems to be decent, but it is still cold where I am and I imagine the heat will ramp up the projection even more. The feeling it gives off is also light and airy as opposed to thick and heavy, but it is a little oily. Korloff Gold is not a tropical cocktail type, it's very much on the elegant side of tropical.
Something you'd wear to an expensive restaurant that overlooks the beach at sunset, champagne glass in hand.

This reminds me of a more coconutty, more vanilla, softer gardenia version of Yves Rocher Monoi eau de Vahines, and I like it a thousand times better. I actually think lovers of Versace Crystal Noir would enjoy this when in need of something less potent and peppery, and a little sweeter. It's not sugary or sickeningly sweet, and let me clarify, I think the vanilla is soft enough that even vanilla haters could handle it.
Longevity is about 8 hours. And that bottle...gorgeous! The picture doesn't do it justice.

pyttlc

This not match Korloff quality. Longevity is poor, 0.5-1.0 hour. Coconut and vanilla from start to end. The bottle is quite nice, deserving much better liquid in it.

SillySue

Korloff Gold is a sophisticated vanilla coconut with a tiny bit of underlying white florals and a dash of strawberry. The key word here IMO being 'sophisticated'. It is easy for coconut vanillas to turn cloyingly sweet and simple/linear, but this I feel does not belong to that particular group of fragrances. I've currently have CS Vanille Coco and in the past had FCUK Friction, both of which a coconut vanillas, but in a totally different category than Korloff Gold. Friction I really enjoyed for what it is, which is a carefree, summery sweet coconut vanilla, fruity type of scent, very laid back and beachy. I have not made up my mind yet about CS Vanille Coco, I've just got that one but first impressions fail to impress really. Korloff Gold however I adore. The addition of sweet Frangipani and Tiara flower probably makes the biggest difference.

It is long lasting and has the most sublime coconut note that manages to hang around without ever becoming overbearing. It has a certain amount of sweetness but is not cloying or candy sweet at all. The most versatile and grown up coconut vanilla I have tried thus far.

tsvetid

Such I surprise! I don't find the rest of Korloff fragrances interesting, but this is unique. It's long lasting, very feminine and the bottle is gorgeous.

ghonche

it really wonderful,so sexy, ellegant , thank u korloff!! good job!!

miZZpuRRfect
