Oud Bouquet Eau de Parfum by Lancôme is a Amber Vanilla fragrance for women and men. Oud Bouquet Eau de Parfum was launched in 2014.

Exclusively at Harrods, Lancome will launch the new fragrance in oriental style based on accords of oud (agar wood) which succeeds the successful edition from 2012, L'Autre Oud signed by perfumer Cristophe Raynaud. The beautifully designed flacon which characterized the first edition of Oud collection played with the game of light and details in gold color. Lancome repeats the form with the new Oud Bouquet edition from 2014, in which a rose flower is presented in mosaic form in gold color.

Top notes of the composition of the new fragrance Oud Bouquet provide a unique spicy flavor of saffron, announcing rose petals in the heart combined with woody accords of oud announced as the key note of the composition. The base contributes to a gourmand twist, while gently sweetening the listed notes and providing depth and warmth. Soft and creamy vanilla combined with praline accords lingers on the skin and leaves a memorable trail.

Oud Bouquet by Lancome will be available at Harrods as 75 ml Eau de Parfum at the announced price of 120 pounds.

There’s a lot of fragrance that have tried to copy this, but this still remains the best version I’ve smelled. The composition is well balanced and smooth, while others tend to be overly sweet or dirty/oudy. It’s more woody that actual Oud, to me it comes across as a clean and warm cedar/sandalwood combo, not Oud.
The praline is very prominent.
Worth a blind buy but I suggest a 5-10ml decant because this is strong and one or two sprays is more than enough.

yuki99999

I like it. This is really good for Oud + Rose beginner.

I got Oud Satin Mood first and it's ways too strong and sweet, I cannot stand it for long time, even it's outdoor. Oud Bouquet does not give me more headache even while I was having a headache (not a good time for try strong oud fragrance 😂)

Though this needs some kinds a vibe to pull it off, like bold dark theme or Middle East night or a grown lady/gentleman.

zawwarahmad

oud, sharp, synthetic--> terrible and intoxicating.... 1/10

ginandrice

The oud here is velvety-smooth, soft, and light, without any of the harsh, medicinal smolder it often has.

On my skin, Oud Bouquet opens as a smooth, fluffy gourmand, with the oud towards the back of the composition. Then it gradually dries down to a warm, vanillic oud fragrance, with background notes of candied rose and praline.

It's elegant and cozy. Like spiced vanilla steamed milk, heated in a brass pot on a wood stove, and topped with candied rose petals.

This perfume was my first oud scent back in 2015.
And I still think that it has no decent rival.
Extraordinary composition, very deep, sexy, strong wood scent, even hard to describe.
Longevity is 12+. Projection is a bit less but still there for decet let's say 6 hours.
I tried so many oud perfumes, but this one is still my number one. Even after so many years.
I would definitely recommed it to oud lovers if you get a chance to try it.❣️

This is a very nice and pretty oud perfume. Don't blind buy though - goes without saying but make sure you LOVE oud and would LOVE to smell of oud before buying.

ScentedSuzanne

Absolutely gorgeous! And to make it even more delectable, try layering with Spiriteuse Double Vanille - the sillage is incredible!

JagodaW

First time ever I’m obsessed. Morning, afternoon, evening and night. I need it all time. It’s even a bit terrifying…😉

I am a HUGE frag head. I have wanted Oud Bouquet since 2017, and my husband finally got me a bottle for our two year anniversary, and I am obsessed to say the least. Oud bouquet is an absolute masterpiece. The blend of Oud, wood, rose, praline, and vanilla is swirled “just right” into this incredible juice that actually lasts and projects. It’s one of the most incredible Oud/rose/praline scents I have ever smelled. I’m an oversprayer, but with this particular juice over spraying might turn people off to it due to the Oud and wood. I think it’s beautiful and will spray however much I like and don’t care who doesn’t like it. First spray is intense with Oud and wood, but soon it settles down on the skin to this rosey/praline/vanilla with Oud in the background that compliments my body chemistry like no other. I usually wear baccarat as my signature scent, but getting my hands on this gem has changed it up for me. You also get an incredible deal on it. 3.4oz for 146$ (it was on sale at Lancôme so we snatched it) originally 206$ your still getting a damn good value just because this juice will last long for a lot of people. This juice will be in my arsenal as long as I’m alive because I just love it that damn much. If you don’t like oud or woods, then I would probably stay away from this. The rose and praline don’t come out until it’s settled on the skin for a bit. Lasts about 6-7 hours on clothes and skin. Projection is medium and sillage is amazing. Bottle is gorgeous, and even the newer formula (the one I just got in 2023) it’s still just as strong and beautiful as ever. I love heavy hitters, and this is definitely a heavy hitter. This has become my favorite fragrance EVER in such a short amount of time, and nothing tops baccarat for me. If you love middle eastern fragrances and you love rose and oud and heavy hitters, then you might just love this masterpiece.

[1025] Oud Bouquet is an approachable interpretation of Middle Eastern-style oud for Western tastes. It features the classic rose-oud accord, rounded out by sweet, gourmand notes.

OB opens with a mild, woody oud note, not skanky or animalic at all. Rose follows, jammy and sweet. It is a tame example of this accord, feminine and pretty - a good introductory example of oud.

As it develops, the gourmand notes emerge, with vanilla initially evident, paving the way to the chocolate praline note. The creamy, nutty chocolate marries surprisingly well with the rose-oud accord, making for an unusual gourmand.

It fades to a smooth, sweetly musky woody-vanilla skin scent after some time. There is a polished leather quality to it here. Sillage is strong and longevity is long-lasting. It is a feminine, autumn/winter scent.

While I tend to avoid gourmands and very sweet scents, I actually really liked this - the rose-oud elevates the gourmand notes, and it is very well-blended and not disjointed at all. It is an accessible rosd-oud, yet an elevated, grown-up gourmand. 4/5.

anilinam

I like it. It's a sexy scent, but it's a bit too sweet for me.
I've been on a rose kick this autumn. So, I'm layering 1 spritz of this, with 1 spritz of Tiziana Trennzi Porpora (which I find too dark on it's own).
I'm loving this combo! These are not scents for the faint of heart, so 2 spritzes in total for an evening out, or a well dressed autumnal weekend is more than enough. This combination says filme noire bougie vixen to me.

Kenz Karim

I hate it! With all my senses.

Tried it for the first time yesterday. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Overall I am pretty picky with rose fragrances as I don’t enjoy much a jammy rose, however this is sweet but not syrupy or nauseating. Definitely a night time scent and a very classy but sexy fragrance. My brother also liked it a lot and that’s surprising considering that his fave women’s fragrance is d&g light blue. Earned a spot in my to buy list.

Doolz

If prailines and cream icecream came as a fragrance, this would be it. I have Oud Satin Mood but theyre different. Worth a buy still if you have the OSM.

abbieclark67

Oud Bouquet smells like sexual enchantment, with caramel sweetened creamy vanilla, waves of silky oud, and soft floral kisses of subtle rose and enticing saffron. It lasts nearly 12 hours, projects far above average, and creates a beautiful aroma trail for the first 3-4 hours. This is an extremely stunning scent. With vanilla and praline, this dessert is sweet and a little seductive. Smooth, pleasant to wear, and little sexy.

Jonafree

This fragrance feels like a Western interpretation of popular middle Eastern perfumery. If you're looking to experience a perfume from the East but don't want something too strange and scary, this could be a good introductory perfume. It hails with classic notes from Eastern perfumes like Arabian Oud: oud, rose, and saffron.

The oud comes through immediately, bold and rich and a little animalic. It blends with the praline, resulting in a sweet, gourmand, almost chocolatey scent. I also get a little of the saffron at the beginning, the metallic bitterness blending with the more skanky aspects of the oud and giving it some nice character.

The rose is quite bold, the powderiness balances well with the sweet praline and keeps the roses from getting lost in the mix. You might want to steer clear of this one if powdery scents aren't your thing. I'm not a powder fan, and I'm enjoying this perfume much more on day 2 after the rose note has worn off (this perfume lasts and lasts) .

emilymonroe1

This is for the oud lovers!!!

Jjsodapop

This reminds me of Chantecaille Kalimantan. Very similar. I have and love that, so this was a pleasant surprise. My mom bought this and realized she doesn't like heavy fragrances, so I inherited it and couldn't be happier. I love the sweet incense scent with the added spiciness. Definitely not for everybody, but i absolutely love it.

iamrinchen

I have been trying this out for the past ten days almost everyday. This smells very oudy on my skin. I can smell the rose and a spiciness that is probably the saffron.

The vanilla and praline hardly detectable on me. Only once when I wore this in right after a shower did it smell like praline. Probably my skin chemistry, or the weather here.

marchat

I’m obsessed. That’s it. Simply obsessed.

lmakula

I bought this perfume based on reviews last year. I didn't get to wear it much because of transitioning to another home. I am almost to the point of wearing for fall although here in Arizona fall doesn't really start until the beginning of November. I spritzed my first spray today and I fell right back in love with this scent. Long lasting, vanilla & praline. I don't smell rose at all. There is an underlying Oud medicine smell which I take is what everyone is talking about. I believe that is the culprit along with the alcohol that makes it last so long. Best bang for you buck if you want a long lasting vanilla perfume. :)

trabuquera

Sweetie! Darling !! Mwah mwah MWAH!!!

Oud Bouquet is your biggest, most extrovert, sweetest-natured female friend, dressed up in her best for a girls' night out, roaring and raring to have intoxicating (and probably intoxicated) fun with no prisoners taken. It's an absolute unit of a scent.

This is just huuuuge - in many senses - and it works even though it really shouldn't. Vast billowing rose petals, massive waves of relentless vanilla, unapologetic saffron, surprisingly assertive fake-oud chassis and all of it spattered with still-bubbling caramelised sugar all over. At heart it's a well-done, mass-market rose-oud with extra gourmand drizzle. A very much less-stinky Oud Palao marinated in nutty honey, or a Santal Royal with the smooth sandalwood stripped out and more flowers jammed back in. Not the most original idea ever, and not even the classiest or 'best' rose-oud I can think of. The Bouquet is VERY sweet - much more so than I usually like - and my feelings about rose are normally in the "anxious avoidant" zone. Not a gourmand fan, and the 'praline' here is way more about brown sugar than toasty nutty notes. It's so giddy and billowing that it's always on the verge of being just too much. Too loud, too syrupy, maybe even a bit shrieky. In its uncompromising PRESENCE it rivals the (amazing and much more sophisticated) Pryn Turkish Leather/ Anatolia, for being a total confectioner's sugar-cloud but still having some solid and more individual character underneath. But it could be ... kind of exhausting. Unimaginable in hot weather. Possibly a hostile act if you have to work at close quarters with other people - it would not, could not, ever go unnoticed, and might well cause headaches for those who dislike it.

In so many ways - this isn't my thing at all. Even within its genre it's ... perhaps a little basic, a bit mass-market, a bit cliche'd. And yet. It's just so cute! And such a great performer! And above all so uproariously FUN|! Other people mostly like it (just as well, as it's so overbearing) - not that it matters that much, but this one has got me compliments from strangers, even on grey dreary days when I was bundled up in massive puffer coats looking sulky. Ha ha ha - result... And the base notes (which emerge much later on in a more low-key, chocolatey-woody layer after about 5-6h) are surprisingly dark and convincing.

Projection & sillage are absolutely epic (this gal enters a party like a wrecking ball) and longevity is startling (it rages on and on till the break of dawn, and well beyond too - 24h+ even on skin, many days more on fabrics). Its overall aura very pink and femme - overwhelmingly so to me - but men who love it this sweet and/or rosy would be most welcome to the party.

So: really not quiet, subtle, classy, or all that clever. Not niche, rare, exotic, exceptional. It wears me, rather than the other way round. Definitely not a blind buy. But for wearing on a determined rampage through the hot spots on a cold winter's night? Or to make a barnstorming impression at a Big Do? This would do that business for sure.

P-Nay

A RICH, DELICIOUS Gourmond. No transparency- VERY OPAGUE & POTENT- not 𝐂𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐥𝐲 at all but just an OUTRIGHT DECADENT, Jammy, hearty & gluey fragrance! The saffron in this just ᖘꂦᖘꌗ- gives it the spice and heaviness needed that not only makes it voluptuous but it attaches to the skin and clothing for a lonnng time! An absolute 𝑮𝑶𝑹𝑮𝑬𝑶𝑼𝑺 "Bouquet." I'm so disappointed this has been discontinued. The 2016 version smells alot like it but watered down; not the FUll development of the original.😔 They always discontinue the smelly good, heavy-hitter fragrances. It is what it is but IT "Oud Bouquet"smells👃Ah-mazing!!

So, I had two hours to spare before my gate opened in Gatwick Airport.
This is when I am usually most vulnerable to impulse buys.

Spoiler. I bought a full bottle of Oud Bouquet (you didn’t see that coming, did you?)

Now Oud Bouquet has been on my radar for quite a few years, and yes because of the hype, but I was never able to get my nose on a sample and out of all the perfumes I smelt that day, moseying around duty free, Oud Bouquet stood out to me. Yea. In a good way.

However, though I do like it personally (and how it works with my skin chemistry), I can honestly understand why a lot of people can’t get down with this scent, hence why Oud Bouquet remains a polarizing fragrance.

A positive description of this perfume would be that it smells like a sensual, refined, woody-rose liquor. Sweet, rich and warm. A negative description of this perfume would be that it smells like a freshly polished mahogany floor.

I agree with both these descriptions.

I will enjoy my full bottle however. The longevity for me is beast mode, lasts around two days with only three spritzes.
I am planning on solely wearing this for special occasions or as a date night option and I have had a few compliments and positive reactions from friends and family since I’ve been wearing OB.
One even said they thought I smelt really sexy. And he's a dude.

So all in all my take away is that I do not regret this purchase...but possibly will not repurchase in the future as it gets a Like from me and not a Love.

(P.s this perfume smells REALLY good on my clothes. I almost prefer it on them then my skin, its a lot more gourmand and less oud-y!)

SuperSueChick

Oh my, this is oh so very (normal) Middle Eastern!
Rose, almost powdery, and heavy on that oily musk vibe. For that category it's actually smooth, and performs as such (good sillage and lasting power). This is less screechier than say Roses Musk by Montale. This one is a little calmed down and smoother.

Now, as for Western culture fragrance norm...
Omg, if we could all be honest, like seriously?
Please?!
There's this girl, Demi Rawling, and others on YouTube that are supposed to be some "fragrance gurus", and they just swears by this.
No.
No, just stop the B.S. this is NOT Hot Girl scent.
This is down right grandma Rose water, incents, with a touch of cinnamon.
Nothing modern, seductive, or luxurious about this.
I did my own focus group with males of all ages from teenage boys to Firefighters to male executives, etc. None, I mean none really liked it.
Much less would they stop someone wearing this to ask what fragrance they were wearing.
If they stopped Demi, its probably bc she's cute, but I'm sure it wasn't in the US stopping her for this scent.
I wouldn't have even worn this in my 30s, much less my 20s, at least in the US.
I'm not Protestant, but I've attended funerals at some big cathedral churches. This is what Oud Bouquet smells like (to me).
It does have lasting power and the dry down is a tad smoother. If you like this, then that's good.
I can only see some women 65 and older wearing this. Like hugging grandma for the holidays when she's looking snached with her hair done, her little sequence sweater, and you kiss and hug her hello.
Just my opinion, hope this helps someone going off by YouTube "frag heads". But hey, to each their own.
¯_(ツ)_/¯

1Khalesi4

Stinky, stinky, stinky... Not worth the wait for the drydown, seriously I don't know how frag heads keep hyping this thing up. Not a safe blind buy!

Bclperfumerymzbi

This one stunned me because I've always known Lancome frags to be floral, fruity, rosy compositions.. Didn't think this would come out so great!
This is the perfect blend of OUD and all things gorgeous..
What I don't understand however, is why Lancome is discontinuing one of the best perfumes they've ever created.

Tinabill

I got a spray sample of Oud bouquet to see if Oud Mood was really a good contender replacement. There is a similarity that all oud-rose-heavy compositions would have. But I can regrettably say that if you try Oud Bouquet once, you will never consider Oud Mood a replacement, maybe a nice composition on its own.
OB has better craftsmanship for sure. It’s smooth, despite being strong, the initial spray is not as harsh and synthetic as middle Eastern perfumes can be. The oud is less smokey and not very medicinal. It doesn’t overwhelm the other notes. You can easily recognize the creamy rose all through and it is sweet (without being nauseous) and slightly spicy.
If our currency hadn’t devaluated twice this last month I would have bought a full bottle 😆

AnlisaC

Great fragrance. I love it and will always have this in my collection. I am not a Oud lover but this one is perfect for me. Longevity is amazing and sillage is also very good. Highly recommended 10/10

Kaylovely

I bought a travel size from fragrancenet and a full size. The reason is because fragnet pictured this bottle vs the new one for the travel. Upon arrival I tried both the travel spray projects way more. The travel has a sweeter vibe, I'm not sure. Going to keep both I guess.

YenSung

I thought I was better off with a dupe such as shaghaf oud from Swiss arabian until I tried Oud Bouquet, yes they definitely smell alike and people in general may not even been able to tell the difference the problem is I now can and Oud bouquet is smoother and well balanced, intense but can be adjusted to any occasion, I am sold, I can never go back to the dupe version of this addictive scent

Shalize

I love this scent . If you want to smell edible and unique . Also the lasting power won’t disappoint you ;) like 15 hours and on clothes un until you wash them

Mistress Eva

I appreciate that Lancome managed to create a convincing Middle Eastern praline-sweet, rose/oud mix. This type of scent is an absolute standard in the Middle Eastern fragrance category. The oud is a tiny bit medicinal (which I like) mixed with the gourmand sweetness of praline, jammy rose, with a bit of saffron on top. Lancome's version of this classic Arabian profile is carefully balanced. The sharp edges have been sanded down somewhat to give it more mass appeal without abandoning its authentic feel. The drydown leans more on temperate oud and saffron, but still retains a light, non-syrupy sweetness.

I really like it, but I find the sillage and longevity to be more conservative than what I'm used to with Middle Eastern fragrances. The price point is hard to justify when you can get *very* similar scent profiles from genuine ME perfumeries for a small fraction of the cost.

AriaLennon

In my opinion, this is a stunning fragrance, magical with the sweetness of caramel and vanilla backed with the oud and enhanced with the roses and saffron. There is subtleness in it and this is nothing less than an awesome fragrance. Longevity for this is long-lasting and the projection is quite above the average while the trail it leaves it for almost 3 to 4 hours. Such a beautiful fragrance that is sweet and sexy with well-balanced accords, well-blended notes, and is truly a crowd-pleaser. Easy to wear due to its high versatility. Thus, this is a sweet oud with semi-gourmand quality. Definitely, a must-try kind of fragrance. Highly versatile and a compliment getter. Love it!

ScentedNorms

Recently got this based on positive reviews to test it out and I love it. Instant top 5 for me. It’s too bad warm weather is around the corner and I’ll have to wait until fall/winter to get a good use out of it. I think it’d be too heavy for hot weather.

Update: the longevity is insane! The sweater I was wearing when I sprayed this on a couple days ago still has a very strong scent of it—like it’s on the initial dry down stage. Smells amazing. 😍

ClaraDelValle

I wish I liked this one. I'm not very experienced with oud fragrances at all, so decided to sample this as it has such glowing reviews. I can appreciate why people like it, it's just not for me. It's super strong and long lasting, which is of course a plus if this scent is something you like. It's just a bit too much, too heavy and I hate to say it, but it really does smell very mature to me. It may be that I'm just not used to it, and I tried it several times, but it's just not growing on me at all.

Rober7a

Review of the formula which was in bottles with mosaic rose. When I first smelled it I was put off by how strong and mature it smelled. Also I tested it in cold weather which was a disservice to this fragrance, it just smelled syrupy sweet with a hint of dustiness. But then I gave it another chance in heat, thankfully I already knew how potent this stuff was, so only a couple of sprays on skin, and omg the scent radiated so beautifully. Now it was the candied blooming rose, almost honeyed. Still really sweet but I like the smell of honey so I enjoyed it, plus it was balanced with another note that's hard to describe, I am guessing it's either oud or saffron or the combination of both. It's warm and mature, but not a serious type of mature, just a grown up sweetness. Like liquor which only got more flavourful and richer a few years later. This reminds me of enjoying some decadent rich sweet dessert in evening on summer holiday. Very indulgent so if I owned this, I'd have to use it sparingly for my nose can get burned out from this with frequent use. Awesome lasting power and projection.

Nicyoung

I just realized, that smells so much like bouquet ideal!

Konga5000

Shaghaf Oud perspective buyers: I own it, I love it , HOWEVER it's very linear and has just a mere HINT of sweetness. The "sweet" is barely there. So much that I have to layer it with something . Longevity is good and quality is good but it's lacking the "sweet" that has a nice dynamic with the oud. When I first tried Oud Bouquet I marveled at the back n' fourth balance in the development AND it was the first time I was impressed with anything Lancome.

Fay@30

I don’t know if it’s just me but this smells similar to Penhaligons (the bewitching Yasmine)… beautiful scent and very strong. Rate in overall:9/10

valelita

Aaaaaaahhhh this is impossible to describe. This is ADDICTING. Sexy. Grown. Luxe!!!!!!

Rosemary14

This is medicinal, sweet, heavy, and mature. It’s my least favorite of the oud fragrances I’ve tried lately. It has virtually almost no Rose. If a person was wearing this I would not find it sexy. I prefer Oud Satin Mood, Noir de Noir, and Velvet Rose and Oud.

brandybasisty

This is intoxicating, so smooth, deep, and well-blended. The OG is so deep and smooth that its density doesn't create a lot of movement on my skin. But if I spray it on my chest, I get lovely whiffs of boozy burnt sugar and rose for hours on end, as she continues to warm and evaporate. The newer formulation is a little rougher around the edges and I think those edges make the newer formulation project better. Longevity is amazing for both versions- like 12+ hours. This is not one you hold up to your nose for a sniff because you'll become asnomic quickly. Just spray once on your chest, and let her come to you.

Tt777

1st impression review. I bought carded Lancôme samples and sprayed on my wrists 4 hrs ago. Not smelling scent as strong anymore so I wonder if I purchased the reformulation. In fact it’s quite faint.

This is not a safe blindbuy. In the package it was delivered in, I could smell the scent before I even sprayed and it was a sweet inscense scent. Many have described this as a sophisticated, sexy gourmand and incense is not what I think Of scent wise when those adjectives are used.

The opening is veryyyy strong and the oud overpowered everything for me. I waited and waited and waited for this to develop into the sweet candied rose praline I hoped for and and it didn’t show up. I waited for vanilla and the most subtle resemblance of a woody vanilla with some praline is detectable but the oud smells like the fire in by the fireplace. Like they are cousins and related somehow. I do not smell rose but agree that this smells gothic, dark, deep and not for everyone. I’m am opened minded perfume lover but this one did not meet the hype.

It’s possible that I just don’t like strong oud. I’ve also never loved the smell of incense. I don’t mind when it’s blended in a perfume but this smells like woody inscense to me -So if yiu don’t like either notes I doubt you will enjoy this-

Sorry folks - I’m sad about not having love at first sniff. Been so curious about this fragrance for years…

Edit- I’m just now reading a review below that the new formulation smelled mainly of oud and the the og ob is much better. Looks like I will be buying a decant of Swiss Arabians dupe of ob that everyone raves about.

sibaraa

Oh my Lord!!!!! This is intoxicating... Now i understand all the rave about it... this is oud rose done to perfection. Not dirty or fleeting. It's like they came up with the perfect recipe. If you own this, then you don't need an other oud. Btw. i find it very very similar to oud mood by lattafa

Liljekonvall

Finally i got a 75ml bottle of this formula today and wow it is a HUGE LOVE👏🌺I payd allmost 200$ but it was worth every penny😎

100/scent

Oud Bouquet has two versions,
the new reformulated (2017) version sucks !!
ain't worth the price at all ..
the old (2014) formulation is just amazing...

stardenise16

Oud Bouquet is the first fragrance that I’ve smelled that has Oud in it. I don’t love it, but it’s really unique.

Perpetual Collector

I just got this for my bday, from Dubai. I had new, reformulated version which i bought directly from Lancome, and i struggled smelling anything else but oud, so i returned it. Last month i decided to try Shaghaf Oud out of sheer curiosity. I felt like there is more to Oud Bouquet than what is being offered in the current version, and i was right. Shaghaf Oud turned out to be beautiful, so i purchased old version of Oud Bouquet, and i am thrilled with it. However, there is absolutely no reason to own both. I am wearing Shaghaf on my left arm , and Oud Bouquet on my right. They are 100% identical, but OB is just a tad more intense, at least for me. Both are smelling like pure oud if you bury your nose into where you sprayed, but emitting that wonderful sweet, chocolatey cloud all around you. I honestly can't figure out the art beyond these two, it's unlike anything else i own. I live in Arizona where it's 876905 F constantly, but we are moving back to Europe next year and i can not freaking wait to wear this in the winter time. Just yum...!

HeavenlyBreezes

This is a Lancome miss for me...smells like bug killer, and I had to wash it right off after 10 minutes. Amazing that I could live in La Vie est Belle L'Éclat by Lancome, but this oud is out.

Emmasweetman

This perfume ain’t it. I don’t know how or why everyone loves it. Smells like incense and an old lady mixed together. I can smell the saffron note very strongly smells like medicine to me. I’m so sad because I thought I’d love this but unfortunately it’s a no from me :( purchased based off Demi Rawlings reviews and I’m so shocked, she says very sweet and syrupy but I don’t smell sweet or vanilla at all. Just very strong oud and praline and medicine smell

Addictedtoperfume

I agree with some of the previous comments. I went ahead and bought it when Lancôme had a special offer on. It smells nice but it doesn’t last long at all. It is barely a skin scent 30 minutes later. I would strongly advise to not blind but this perfume. Maybe it is just me, but the longevity of this perfume does not justify the price (even when it’s on offer).
If you are after a beautiful rose perfume I can recommend to check out Taifi from Rose Arabia (Widian). It costs less than £100 and smells beautiful with very good longevity.

I bought this perfume in 2021. My review is based on the latest version.

Musky4

This gets unfairly overlooked in my collection and is hardly ever worn, in spite of it arguably being one of the best perfumes I own. This is probably down to the oud note, which I can find quite nauseating (this is by no means a criticism of the perfume, but just my personal reaction to oud). The lasting power of this is phenomenal, as I've found with other good quality oud fragrances, and if you like walking round in a thick cloud of perfume, Oud Bouquet is for you. I really do enjoy this when I'm in the mood for it and think it's best worn in an outdoor setting to avoid suffocation. The sweet praline note is gorgeous and really balances out the earthy woodiness of the perfume, giving it a more feminine touch.

CreamSunshine

I was lucky enough to buy 5 ml of the original formulation of this. Oud Bouquet is branching really far out from my usual taste, which is normally: golden, yellow-type, jasmine, tuberose, osmanthus, whipped cream, praline... I have very “daytime” girly-scent tastes.
Well, this fragrance is a sultry, dark change of pace for me. I’ve been wearing it on a storm-cloudy afternoon, and it’s so perfect. That dark-wood smell from the oud, the dripping, sticky-sweet praline-coated rose... warm and mysterious and comforting. The praline comes out and gets salty in the dry down. I feel like my normally sunny self decided to dress like Morticia Addams today, and I’m arranging some dark red roses while eating chocolate truffles in the warmly-lit wood-paneled drawing room of my mansion.
I will remember this fragrance for days when I want to reproduce that vibe, it’s very decadent and yummy.

GlacialImpala

Before giving this one a go I ordered a dupe by Oil Perfumery.
I have to say if the original is like that it's a magnificent scent in its category.
It's sweet but not openly gourmand and you can smell the rose in the form of not clearly defined floral notes (I kind of dislike blatant rose since it's never ever the fresh and kind of zesty kind).
I didn't try it on my skin yet so I'm hoping agarwood will show up too.
I sprayed it on my clothes 16+h ago and it smells the same beginning to the end, with same potency!
Damn, maybe the dupe is better than its inspiration.

Can anyone confirm if Lancome is now doing a full-on redesign AND (3rd) reformulation on Oud Bouquet? On the Macy's website where they've integrated Lancome's customer feedbacks into their review feed, I'm seeing an influx of a different plaque/bottle design AND reformulation comments. It doesn't look good. :(

Edit 2/25: I can 100% confirm there's a bottle redesign, based on the two new upcoming 2021 fragrances Rose Peonia and Jasmine d'Eau. I've also seen Oud Bouquet and Jasmins Marzipane in this new template style, so the new bottle design is official.

Botanichka

If you layer oud satin mood and gentle fluidity gold you come very close to the opening of old school oud bouquet ;)

jurgitamaria

For the owners of Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian: don’t buy. it’s exactly the same just more expensive.

perfumeistar

This old formulation is more oudy and praline is more pronounced. The new one has more rose and other woods so it’s less sweet which is why most find it more unisex. This 2014 (old) formulation projects beastly and lasts a very long time - even on my dry skin. Unfortunately, the new formulation lasts only about 4-6 hrs on my skin and becomes a skin scent after just a few hours. To me only the bottle design and size (100 ml vs. 75 ml) is better with the current version. The flacon is stunning and the most beautiful in my nearly 200 bottles collection.
My old formulation was stolen and I’m looking to replace it with a partial. Please message me if you’d like to sell yours. Any liquid level is fine with me. (CONUS)

danlm

I am OBSESSED with this! Picked this up for my Christmas Gift and my mom gave me 2 options, Oud Bouquet or Oud Isphahan by Dior. THIS CLEARLY WON. The smells lasts for days (after a day its more of a skin scent and you have to smell the fabric to get it) but it still is eternal. The sillage is amazing, the smell is sooooo good! It is most definitely UNISEX. Oud is always unisex. I totally recommend this! its retail for &208 so please only wear this to places worthy of smelling this masterpiece.

agsags

This was a blind buy for me - smells good but the fragrance is way too strong for me personally, especially in the heat where I live. If anyone is interested I have a 100ml bottle for sale, only used two sprays for testing so it is basically brand new. Message me.

SGArt

Anyone willing to sell/trade their unwanted Oud Bouquet to me? I lost mine in our recent move. Please message me. Thanks.

LancomeLover

@Gypsy98617 I have not tried the Be Layered dupe you mentioned or the Shagaff Oud dupe. I did blind buy Oud Bouquet though, and I was really worried I would not like it but wow! it’s incredible to me, huge sillage and longevity, it’s beast mode on steroids. I have never been into Rose scents or wood scents honestly, and while I do get those things, it’s mildly, it’s hard for me to describe perfume my apologies. I almost didn’t get this one because the notes did not appeal to me, but everyone raved about it and Lancôme is my favorite fragrance house, so so so glad I took the risk. not sure if that helps or not though sorry

to me it’s like a warm hug from someone very dear to you, comforting, sweet, mature. but it’s so alluring, I actually love the sweet rose in this one, goes so nicely with the soft wood.

as a bonus my husband seems to really love it, he rarely comments on my perfume but he always notices this one and adores it. probably notices it because it differs from my usual sickly sweet La Vie Est Belle tastes (:

I do not recommend blind buying this one. rather, if you want to try the smaller one on Lancome’s website the .47 ounce for $35, and wait until they have a 20% or more off deal to be able to really test it out before investing.

I was so hesitant but am SO glad I purchased and now own this beautiful, delectable scent!

Gypsy98617

Has anyone tried Be Layered's dupe, Dark Temptation, to be able to compare the two? I just received Dark Temptation, and I don't think I like it. I'm a gourmand lover, and thought for sure I would love it based on all the reviews I read. If anybody can help me out here, it would be greatly appreciated.

Coffeeandroses

Smells like amouage sunshine woman with no apricot or tobacco note. Not a fan.

Advaitaforever

Omg the opening has an obnoxious balsamic Oud that’s just swallows everything else. But the dry down is gorgeous, sensual and it just gets better with age. The saffron emerges in the mid with a creamy vanilla dessert base and a gorgeous syrupy rose.

Shaghaf Oud is a great dupe if you want a reliable dupe that pretty much does the same thing in a slightly dry way and has a slightly more prominent saffron note.

KayleeAp

This fragrance is utterly delicious. I smell the oud most prominently upon initial spray, but as the dry down continues, I get more and more praline. It’s a high quality gourmand praline. I don’t get any rose from this fragrance at all. One spray is more than enough and it lasts all day and then some. This is not a fragrance I expected to love; if you have a chance to get your nose on it, I highly recommend.

BlackOrchidSorceress

Got a 5ml sample of the 2014 version and I am in complete love with this fragrance. 10/10. Magnificent saffrony praline oudy rose. A comforting, rich, sensuous beauty.

jill.1

went back and forth on this fragrance. I finally got a sample. OMG! i love it. At first I thought i sprayed the wrong bottle because i was expecting something with more rose. but, all i got was a slight sweet incense note with some honey. And, there is no honey listed. so, i went back and sprayed the other arm with OUD BOUQUET. It was definitely correct bottle. Yup. sweet and a little honey.

Dry down, very distinctive sweet praline with slight floral rose. very slight rose. barely there.

Kind of reminds me of Delina Esclusif but much stronger. I am very happy and will be wearing it all winter long.

It is not a wallflower perfume. you will leave a trail and even those wearing masks, will still smell it. I am sort of happy to use it all alone at home. I get to enjoy the scent and spray a much of it as I like. My dogs are fine with whatever fragrance I choose. :-)

Perfection in a bottle 💛

Duft Liebe

Yesterday I had the chance to try it, and found it disappointing. To me it was quite loud and strong in an unpleasent way. I guess I expected something else.

But I would like to smell it on somebody else, for sure. It is interesting, special and noticeable.

nativelocal

So my first experience with Oud Bouquet was actually with the new formulation, but I ended up hunting down a bottle of this old formulation because I was very curious about how the two compared. And basically every person who talks about this fragrance says this old formulation is the better of the two. I received it yesterday and immediately went to work spraying the two formulations side by side to really get to the bottom of what the differences are.

To begin with, the two formulations are certainly the same scent, but there are some small differences. The oud in the old formulation is much smoother and a bit softer than the new one. It doesn't stick out quite as much and hit you in the nose the way the new one does. And this isn't to say that the oud isn't noticeable because it is absolutely present and unmistakable, but it's just a bit smoother and well blended than the newer version.

In terms of projection, both are wonderful and lasted incredibly long. However, the projection of the older formulation didn't seem as loud as the newer one. It certainly projected, but I felt like I had to come a little closer to smell it after a while. Whereas the newer formulation continued to project really nicely off my hand from a considerable distance.

The last major difference that I noticed is that the newer formulation is a bit sweeter and has more vanilla than this one. I sprayed both on the back of each hand yesterday around 3:45 pm and it's now about 10 am as I type this. I can't really smell the hand with the older version, but the hand with the newer version is much more noticeable and I can very clearly smell a sweet vanilla which is the only thing remaining at this point.

All in all, the DNA that runs through the veins of both formulations is one and the same and is absolutely STUNNING. However, I think which one you end up choosing will come down to a matter of personal preference. I bought into the hype of many of the reviews here and on YouTube and bought the older formulation. But honestly I'm coming to realize that I prefer the newer formulation because it's bolder with the quality of the sharper oud, louder in projection, and has more of that syrupy sweetness that I love. Additionally, the newer Maison Lancome bottles with the magnetic caps are ridiculously luxe lol. Not to say that the older formulation isn't as wonderful as people say because again, they are both BEAUTIFUL!! They are very clearly sisters. Twins, even. But the kind of twins where you can still tell them apart if you look closely enough. However, I think there's something to be said about the hype that comes to surround certain fragrances once they become discontinued and harder to find. It kind of seems like people tend to get wrapped up in having something that isn't accessible to everyone anymore, rather than loving the scent because it's what they prefer. All in all, I think it would be a good idea to get a sample of both and really see for yourself which one you gravitate towards. Don't even take my word for it.

diaanz81

I have a more detailed review of this perfume in the newer formulation's page. In this older version, the Oud is just the teeniest bit sharper, with rougher edges and the other notes are maybe overshadowed by it especially in the opening. The differences are insignificant really, I was curious enough to get a bottle of this version to compare it to the new one but because also this bottle, with the mosaic rose, is just gorgeous.

I was born and raised in the middle east and growing up, it almost felt like the air there smelled like Oud. It is a note that I exclusively associate with the Arab culture. Maybe because of my (over)exposure to it I always thought that I didn't like it and had someone told me that I would one day own an Oud-y perfume I would have thought 'cuckoo'. My new found appreciation of this note reinforces that scents can evoke nostalgia almost as strongly as photos and other memorabilia do. Over time certain notes that you dislike can turn into likes and sometimes loves just because of the memories attached to it. I don't think I would have appreciated this perfume as much I do now if I had still been living in the middle east. To me, this just smells like home!

ba2l

I like it, I actually love it, BUT, as someone from the middle east who is so used to Oud, Rose perfumes, I love our middle eastern mixes even more, we have experts in making these types of perfumes, and they are everywhere, even home made type.. and they use authentic Oud, while these brands mostly use artificial wood notes and then they sell it even more expensive than the real Oud.!
I have a Rose-Vanilla mix, syrupy, sweet Rose and extremely long lasting that I bought for $30 and it smells even more expensive than this one.!
also for those who love this type of smell why not try pure saffron perfume oil!!.. pure saffron perfume oil smells like a mixture of sweet Rose-Oud, sometimes those brands go up and down and they make a big turn to come up with something that mainly smells like an available single note.. try the pure Saffron oil

Cherry_Darling

Saffron and oud makes this herbal and almost medicinal to me. Super sweet. This isn't my genre of oriental, but I can appreciate its power and gourmand, powdery oriental aspects. Definitely indulgent; my nose misses a slight tart twist to lighten the density.

ekowala7

H O L Y - Lancome really did that.

This is a sweet, syrupy, rose-y, oud, heaven. If you're not comfortable with oriental, heavy, strong fragrances - this is not a safe blind buy. However, if you like strong, sweet and LOUD fragrances, this will be right up your street. This fragrance will have you noticed, FOR SURE.

In comparing Lancome OB to its popular clone Shaghaf Oud, SO would be about a 95% clone of the fragrance. To my nose, its opening is slightly more artificial/synthetic but the dry down is so so so similar. The quality of the Lancome shows through from first spray to last sniff. However, is the price difference worth it? That's up to you.

Longevity is beastly, 10-12 hours and silage is heavy.

Overall - 7.5/10

Bubbles1964

Divakitty24 - I’m so happy to hear that you love Oud Bouquet, and I would much rather sell at a reasonable price to someone who loves a perfume than to sell on eBay.

By the way, I am selling off many bottles and sample packs via eBay. I don’t know if its kosher to put a link here, but my eBay name is Bubbles062364, or to anyone reading, just PM me. I’ll be adding items daily for the next week or so.

UPDATE: I am sold out of Oud Bouquet.

~ Bubbles 1964 ~ I'm so sorry that the Oud Bouquet did not work out on you and for you ~ but alas it worked out great for me ~ ///=^} ~ I wanted to give a shout out for the awesomeness that went along with my getting this beauty ~ Not only did she work with me , she understood , I was getting my work bonus check it did come sooner than expected but it was still a bit late , Ha . I paid a reasonable price ~ Thanks again Bubbles ~ much appreciation and best wishes for you ~ ///=^} ~ She wears " beautifully " I do get the Oud & Rose with a bit of Vanilla , not sure what the spiciness is { note wise } but she comes in ~ I do get a more than average take on the praline , but it settles down almost immediately on me and I wear her like a " sexy " piece of lingerie she is that good ~ If I spritz two times she'll last at least 6~ 8 hours , if I spritz three on up , she is a beast . I'm super jazzed over bottle as well , she is stunning for sure ~ and bottle was full to the rim of the rose on bottle ~ I'm happy ~ ///=^} ~

I thought Mancera and Montale dominates the oud game. This one is balance of everything, there is also some notes that arent mentioned. The rose is up front the oud is at the base and the sweet vibe of the ethyl maltol from the praline note compliments every note. There is a bit of freshness. I thought this smells like OSM but this is more of the rose and chocolate with oud at the base. Aoud vanille which is a contentender of "sweet ouds" is really heavy and has that heady powdery vanilla base while this has not, but here you can clearly detect the perfectly balanced rose oud combo but the vanilla doesn't blur their identities. OSM is sweeter but this one is much more of the rose oud vanilla perfectly done right. If I have to choose between Aoud Vanille or this, I would easily grab this one because the beautiful rose note here is much more regal and opulent. To the other reviewer here, oud is supposedly sharp and pungent, so is a potent rose.

misssarah

I've never smelled this on anyone else so it might be different in the air, but on me it's a bit like incense scented rubbing alcohol that gradually becomes less astringent. Anyone else? I have a 1 ml decant so I was only able to dab it on in a few places. I wonder if I was able to spray it on, it might have a better effect since I have to get pretty close to my skin to smell it this way. I'm not giving up just yet...

Erinhasaproblem

Sweet, rich, smoky and sexy. A thick, oily, & moderately creamy vanilla praline base, dripping with a rose syrup surrounded by smoky incense. This is a beast. I usually spray about half an hour before leaving the house. I love to wear this to formal December events. A must have.

rebelspywendy

I'm not sure if I received an expired sample, but this was my first scrubber. Sharp and pungent, it easily filled my living room. And would not quit. It survived two different soaps on my skin and clung like a suffocating hug. This may be elegant and lovely on someone else, but on me it was overwhelming.

codymarieb

This and Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian smell exactly the same. It’s a lovely deep oudy rose scent. It is incredibly strong, you don't need to spray much, and it lasts forever.

I wasn't sure about it at first but it's growing on me. Looking forward to wearing in the future.

GustaveTheNose

Excellent review by Dvorask, we need more similar reviews.
I agree it's not a clone of OSM, as both are actually clones of traditional arabic perfumes that contain oud, rose, and amber as the main players.
For those interested in the above combination , I suggest you try niche offerings from Dar Al teeb (Kuwait), spirit of Dubai by Nabeel, and few oils from ASQ. There are many other houses from Middle East (including Amouage) that do a great job.

Saira.Manahil

When I say this is intoxicating I mean it. This will knock you out and have you dreaming you’re swimming in sweet rosy oud... all while your friends panic to find a new DD because you are lost in Oud Bouquet Delirium. This stuff is goooooooooood, and stronggggg and unapologetic. I don’t drink, but if this juice was actually ingestible my friends would probably need a chaser on standby 💙

Dvorask

I want to make comparisons between this and MFK Oud Satin Mood.

Oud Satin Mood:
OSM has two main parts to me: the jammy rose that comes off as smelling like lychee, and the oud supporting it. The oud starts out a little plasticky and medicinal, but as it dries down, the rose and vanilla eventually burn off, while the medicinal aspects of the oud give way to a creamy woody drydown.

Oud Bouquet:
Oud Bouquet has a similar oud in it, with the mildly plasticky and medicinal tone. However, while the oud in OSM is a little in-your-face, this is a bit more subtle. OSM may find a 50:50 balance between the two sides, but I think this leans slightly more towards the gourmand side, which makes it a little less aggressive.

The sweetness in this is a little toned down compared to OSM, which is really not what you'd expect given the note breakdown. As it dries down, the oud starts to disappear as well, leaving only the sweeter notes. I believe this has vetiver and/or cedar but it's not listed, because the drydown is not the same creamy wood as we see in OSM.

For most guys, I'm thinking this might be a little more wearable than OSM. It's not as loud, and not as sweet.

Overall:
There definitely are comparisons to be made between this and Oud Satin Mood. Both are similar, yes, but I wouldn't go as far as saying this is a clone. Both attempt to give the oud a sweet side, and they go about it in slightly different ways. If I had to quantiy it, I'd say maybe 70% to 80% similar.

If you like one, you might like the other. If you like Oud Satin Mood but find it too expensive, try this. I find the quality in here to not be lacking, and if your heart is not set on the DNA of Oud Satin Mood, this might just scratch that itch.

If anyone has a lightly used bottle of the original formulation for sale, I am interested.

I love this perfume, I have the 2016 version and it's amazing with more oud into it. It's a bit too intense for me so I like layering it with another sweet perfume that balances out the scent.
Longevity and projection are amazing! Definitely not for every one as it is very intense and the oud/woody note is clear. However it is one of those scents that is very sexy and daring ! It smells very rich and sophisticated as well.

Avian

Oud Bouquet is a mildly astringent oud dunked in a tub full of all the sugary sweetness of ethyl maltol. I do occasionally catch a deep, warm, red skin musk too, which adds a nice touch to the praline oud. I smell little rose (just a teeny sniff) and no saffron. Perhaps like Angel Muse, with the vetiver replaced by Oud, and no citrus at all.

In comparison to my memory of the newer version, this one is smoother and not syrupy. I don't recall any muskiness in the new one either. I would call it LVEB+Oud, instead of Flowerbomb+Oud. Both do give me flashbacks to other sweet Lancome perfumes.

The bottle is super pretty. It has a lot of dimension when viewing it through the window on the front. I'm surprised that people think this smells mature or frumpy. In contrast, I find it to be quite youthful and elegant.

zu_misha88

@Disintegratedwoman completely captured the experience I had with this. So glad I tested it first. Definitely not a blind buy.

Bubbles1964

My long goodbye is final.

It’s taken me several months to come to a conclusion of an “on again, off again” relationship I’ve had with Oud Bouquet. I’ve tried wearing OB in warm weather, bitter cold and the seasons in between. I was determined to find the beauty that works for so many others to no avail.

I initially sampled the newer version of this (didn’t work for me), then read great reviews here on Frangrantica about the original composition. So I pulled the trigger on a Fragrencenet bottle.

In general, I do like synthetic Oud and own many that incorporate it well: the original Tom Ford Oud Wood, Histories’s Fidelis, MFK’s Oud and Oud Satin Mood, and Guerlain’s Santal Royal. Plus many more where synthetic and the real stuff is a support note: Rania J.’s Ambre Loup, Bortnikoff’s Amber Cologne, Sospiro’s Soprano, Alexandre J’s Zapheer Oud, etc. The point of this list is that I’m an Oud fan.

Unfortunately Oud Bouquet doesn’t work with my chemistry. Completely overpowering in the way that many Montale, Mancera and Ramon Monegal’s are for me. Synthetic in overdrive. Lots of gooey sweetness too. The performance is off the charts, which is horrible if you are trying to wash it away.

Like a date that looks good on paper. But he’s worn out his welcome and now he won’t leave.

Yes the bottle is stunning and it makes it all the more difficult letting Oud Bouquet go, but I don’t want to keep waiting for it to work when it’s clearly not right for me. This beautiful bottle is being moved into my trading bin.

DebiL1211

Oh boy! Here we go. First of all this review is based on a bottle of the original formulation. Aside from the pretty bottle I really like this fragrance.
Hear me out... I know a lot of people dislike this perfume but I am one of the few that has just the right chemistry for it.
I only used 1 spray on my wrist and then gently dabbed them together. This fragrance is strong. For the first 3-4 hours it projects a few feet around me and then it slowly becomes a scent that can be smelled around arm's length.

On my skin the opening is a strong oud scent with a hint of rose. I may smell a little bit of the saffron but it is well hidden. Around 30 minutes in the vanilla and praline start to show. The oud starts to step back and lets the vanilla and praline take over while still being able to smell the rose. After 90 minutes there is a stronger note of vanilla with the praline and rose still very present but the oud and saffron are now gone. The fragrance stays this way on my skin for a good 7-8 hours.

I don't recommend blind buying this fragrance even if you like all the notes it contains. I also cannot comment on the reformulated version and its scent/performance.

Alexinaboxx

So....where to start. Everyone else pretty much said everything I would. I used to do reviews on YouTube myself and am about to start again. I will say, it's disappointing when I have listened to reviewers only to find that we don't have the same nose. I stay following the ones I know to have the same nose as me. Find out which ones have the same nose to make sure you're never steered wrong. :) I have Oud Bouquet and Shaghaf Oud. People say the both of these smell alike. I will say that Shaghaf Oud is very VANILLA heavy, along with Praline and Oud. And to my nose it is delightful, while Oud Bouquet is not. Everyone's nose is very different, so when it comes to certain notes, especially Incense and Oud, get a sample first. I know it's hard when you're a fragrance addict as I am myself. You want the whole dag on bottle asap LOL! When it comes to certain notes, don't do it. Not everyone can do them right.

Allisonmsmith22

Disintegragedwomen, said it all. I watch Demi occasionally and boy she hyped this one up. I'm honestly shocked that she wears this. IMO this is more suited for a much older, more mature woman. I don't get any other notes other than straight up oud. I was expecting more sweetness and roses.

Not a safe buy. Not safe to wear out in public. I would honestly have get away from someone wearing this.

I scrubbed and scrubbed my arm in the shower and it's still there. Good longevity, so there's that.

disintigratedwoman

After hearing/reading so many rave reviews about Oud Bouquet - including from Demi Rawling, who I follow closely on YouTube, I was determined to try it. Ordered a 5 mL sample from Ebay for a reasonable price, and from a 2014 batch too according to the seller. As I was waiting for my package to arrive, I was so excited, and had no expectation that I’d be disappointed - after all, I’ve loved many of Demi’s suggestions (own PDM Delina now and it’s one of my favourites in my collection), and very much enjoy rose in general as well as some oud scents (such as Tom Ford Wood Oud).. but boy was I wrong.

As soon as I sprayed this onto my wrist, I felt sick. All I could smell was an overwhelming, sweet incense-type of smell - nothing like the Tom Ford’s oud (or other oud scents I’ve tried, from Armani for example). It smelled like the back of a hippie shop, with only the faintest hint of rose. I couldn’t believe that all the rave views I’d read were about THIS. But regardless, I decided to wait and see if giving it time to settle could help make it enjoyable, let alone tolerable.

I am sad to report that four hours have now passed, and all that’s changed since the first spray is the intensity of the smell emanating from my wrist - but said wrist still smells like sickeningly sweet incense to my nose, and not much else. It makes me imagine what a frumpy, middle-aged woman with frizzy hair wearing loose, tie-dye clothes would smell like.

I don’t mean to demean such a legendary perfume to those who enjoy this - but it goes to show just how different everyone’s noses are.. and that this is NOT a safe blind buy.

Better luck to you all with Oud Bouquet :)

Esmiralda1996

Please do not blind buy this! There are testers available on eBay. This perfume came highly recommended and was described as a mature sweet perfume. The notes seemed so appealing and I am familiar with oud. People said sweet and sexy, vanilla and sultry. So to me, this smells like walking into one of those bohemian style stores that sell clothes, homewares and jewellery. Think Ishka and Tree of Life etc. You know when you walk in and you are hit with that strong insense they use. Like that!! So if you like to smell like that, this is perfect! I’d you are expecting a sweet, sexy fragrance; just trial this first. I sprayed some on my wrist and my bestie said “what is that smell?!” Definitely not a crowd pleaser or anywhere near safe enough to blind buy.

knoxknoll777

I have almost a full bottle of this if anyone wants to purchase or trade.

INoze

delicious! Love this along with OK Fine Double Vanilla and Perry Ellis Vanilla Oud. exotic and wonderful!

MarleneNavar

I just bought this after a long search for a new autumn/ winter perfume and I am in love. It reminds me of a hybrid between Bal D'afrique (Byredo) and Silk Mood EDP (MFK)
Oud Bouquet is more refined than Bal D'afrique and less serious than Silk Mood.
The lasting power is phenomenal, projection is excellent. The opening is a bit intense and busy (lots of saffron) but after 1/2 hour it settles down and becomes a bit more rounded and creamy. The dry down is to die for (the oud, the rose, and the vanilla are mixed perfectly -nothing too animalistic nor too sweet nor old lady)
I even smell leather though I don't think it's listed.
I would'nt consider it a gourmand fragrance at all and I think of it as a feminine scent even though I think a man can pull it off easily.
It's absolutely worth the price in longevity and quality alone, and the bottle is gorgeous.
I ve worn it for 3 days now and I've been stopped about 5 times to be asked what I'm wearing.
Wonderful!!!

As someone from the Middle east and used to all Oud perfumes I can say it's a cheap oud perfume you can get the same scent from any Middle eastern brand oud Mix perfumes for 1/4 of the price. dont get me wrong it's not an awful scent but if your looking for the best oud inspired perfume without the intensity of the oud i would suggest the brand ( Hind Aloud ) they're the best Middle eastern oud inspired perfume which will last for days ( Literally it will stick on your clothing till you wash it )

Quite easily the most outstanding oudh/rose/praline/vanilla stunner!
Mancera, Montale, and the plethora of oudh crazies are left in the dust. I’ve tried dozens and this is the one. Chemistry friendly but don’t wear it to work.
For me it works all year round. Soft enough for summer.
10 out of 10 from me, in all departments.

Folks, I'm here to say that I have both the 2014 and the 2016 versions, and I definitely prefer the original 2014 version It definitely lives up to the hype--sweet, rose, incensy wood. The 2016 version is from the genre, but much much more wood--guaiac wood I think--that pulls a little too furniture polish on me. This 2014 one is, in my opinion, more feminine and more wearable. Just as a note, I bought the 2016 one first and liked it to start with but pretty soon I found the guaiac wood note too overpowering. I hesitated for over six months to get the 2014 version, and I have no regrets! Best buy of the year, despite the initial mis-step of buying the newer version.

DulciusExAsperis

I find Oud Bouquet to be just a little too much of everything. Too sweet, too dense, too deep, too strong. It is a sugary praline wallop. A perfume you can really fall into, like a soft bed, but when you want out, it's difficult to find your way. Cozy and luscious but also a bit cloying - it just never settles down.

Like a friend you really like, but whose personality is so extravagant and over the top and just EXTRA that you feel yourself relieved a bit when your hangout is over.

One hundred percent NOT office safe just based on strength alone. Please don't do this to your coworkers.

As this is unisex, I sprayed a bit on my husband to see if other notes might come out & it might be more tolerable on him - and he liked it for a moment, then absolutely hated it. Too sweet.

There's absolutely no restraint in this exuberant thing and if that's your jam, then give this one a try. I just can't handle it, it makes me sick after a while.

I love both 2014 & 2016 versions. To me, they’re like 95% the same & the rest pretty much comes down to preference. I had a bottle of this version, but ultimately got rid of it for the newer 2016 formulation. This 2014 is sweeter, with the Oud dialed more down in a way where I can see why it’s the general favorite. It’s also warmer & spicier long into the dry down. They both have monster projection, but this version seems to hold it’s “thickness” better hours into the dry down. The 2016 has more of a balance between the sweetness and the Oud & Wood. Makes it more unisex to me. I’m def a gourmand girl and love sweet smells, but I also loveeee Oud & that’s what caused me to settle on the newer formulation. But when I go to repurchase my 2nd bottle though, I’ll more than likely go for the 2014. I ADORE the bottle of the 2016 most, but to me, the price between the 2 is what will sway me to the other side. I’ve seen the 2014 for $75 online, and I got my 2016 bottle for $160 (and to be honest, that was after I applied all the coupons & deals I could find!). Ultimately, you can’t go wrong with either one. Oud Bouquet is a MASTERPIECE, and it’ll ALWAYS be in my collection!

Oud mood is very similar🎃

This perfume makes me want to exclaim expletives in a good way. Is that weird to say? I smell every single note in this and it’s a f***ing masterpiece!!!! There I said it. Wow I was really nervous to try this because I really haven’t done much exploring in the world of oud, but this is the perfect perfume to smell and understand oud, but in a welcoming and inviting way because it intermingles with notes I’m already cool and cozy with.

TonyAKAMrClean

Two words: Unicorn Tears.

First, this should be the hallmark of performance that every other scent should try to live up to. This has the PERFECT heavy sillage, and yet it's heavier for the wearer than it is to those around them. No problems with anosmia whatsoever, and after this settles about 15 minutes in, this fragrance maintains its perfect projection for longer than any other scent I've ever tried. I mean, this stuff doesn't even start to quiet down for about 8 hours! Talk about perfection! Plus, ONE SPRAY is usually enough, so a bottle of this would last a lifetime. Honestly, a decant would last most of us for years! Except, this could potentially become a new favorite scent, causing you to wear it every day this fall! :)

Guys - don't be put off by the praline note! This is absolutely unisex.

This scent has that rose oud combination you've likely smelled before, and yet it doesn't just pigeonhole itself into being a basic rose oud. The notes play off one another to create an overall effect, rather than just different notes together. The oud is not very pronounced in the overall composition, but it is there, and if you can search past the praline note and the way the notes meld together to lend to such an effect, you will find the rose oud combination you've likely smelled before. Still, it feels like there are more than just 5 ingredients in this scent. I actually get two subdued woody oud accords, shrouded by praline, rose and vanilla, equally. I also get a tiny bit of spice that I have a hard time attributing to the listed notes.

My girlfriend and I call this "Unicorn Tears" as an inside joke, because it's rare and it smells exquisite - like something largely unobtainable. This composition, as a whole, smells like something you could travel the world searching for and few would ever find. I've gotten huge compliments on this scent and everyone agrees it smells rich and unique.

This is a new favorite to join the ranks, and since one spray is all it takes, I'm sure I'll have this for a very VERY long time.

PS - If I should die before I run out of this scent, please spray it on me for my funeral. This is THAT much of a love for me.

addiehominem

I didn't think I liked oud until I smelled this fragrance. It wears loudly throughout its lifespan; its entrance is like a big brass band crashing through the doorway during a polite family dinner.

The oud is medicinal, earthy, and animalic, but the sweetness of a lush, red rose tames it just enough to make it approachable. This is a sexy marriage between flowery nectar and monstrous scarred wood. Dark chocolate delicately veils the flowers and wood with coffee-like nuances and a hint of spice from the saffron.

It's understandably challenging to wear regardless of its sweetness and spice--there's no masking the level of funk that comes with an oud-heavy composition. Oud is a far cry from buttery sandalwood or refreshing pine, so keep that in mind if you decide to blind buy this.

mihaela_i

I’ve worn this a few times over the past two weeks and, although it’s by no means unpleasant, I’m struggling to like it. All I am perceiving in this is the smell of homemade burnt raspberry jam, saffron and oud. In the first few minutes I can smell something reminiscent of a praline note, but it quickly transforms into burnt raspberry jam with some smoky and medicinal notes. Each time, my reaction has been “ is this it”? Is there nothing else to this than these three accords, each on their own parallel paths and never blending together? I am baffled by the fact that this perfume doesn’t conjure anything else. It reminds me of a less inspired cheap perfume oil.

A True Masterpiece

The best Oud and Floral that I have tried and I think on the market !

The oud here is deep, almost heavy and with a animalic twist, the deep floral add to this sultry and intoxicating composition, but help it not to not be too dense or heavy. This helps this fragrance to not be a date night or fall/winter fragrance exclusively, but i still think it suits those occasions best.

If you are a lady who is ready for a sensual and complex oud, then I highly suggest this one. It is raved about for a good reason.

Claude 1977

This smells very much like Lamya oil perfume from Nabeel
Sweet and woody and a bit smoky, very nice 👍🏻 The only deference is the Lamya is strong since it’s an oil perfume

Kots_Tanya

So I had new bottle and order sample of old and let me tell you it is totally different, I did not like the new one at all, but then decided to order an older version and I actually really like it, I like it a lot. So if you by any chance watch Demi Rawling and wanted to purchase Oud bouquet go with the older version, I see why she likes it, new version is not the same. New is too woody and old is more sweet, old is just better, I don’t understand why they had to make new reformulated version.

craftymaya

Very mature and feminine scent. Potent and rich as the oud is strong. This perfume is sweet (praline) and spicy (oud). The rose stays in the background. Super longevity and projection. I am afraid it is too strong for me...

anilinam

I wore this compliment magnet out for dinner and drinks tonight.

Though summer is upon us, this evening the weather is 65F/18C, and the occation seemed befitting of this bombshell.

I have selected this, the original version of Oud Bouquet, on the Fragrantica options as a Winter/Autumn/Night fragrance, but the more I wear it, the more I realize Fragrantica should have a boudoir icon... That is definitely the one to click for this fragrance!

I haven´t tried the new version yet. All I can say is when I found out this formulation had been discontinued, I stocked up. I love it.

Bubbles1964

I just realized that there are two pages for Oud Bouquet, and that my review from several months ago below is for the new reformulation that happened in 2016, so I decided to gamble and I ordered a bottle off fragrancenet. I hope it is the older formula.

And landshark321, I love your reviews. You are always fair and inciteful, even when you don’t like a scent. Thanks for writing, I’m a fan.

landshark321

I blind bought a tester of Lancome Oud Bouquet off of FragranceNet for only $37 and it’s quite outstanding. It’s a sweet rose/oud, perhaps the sweetest rose/oud combination I’ve ever tried that does seem, at least, to have some oud in it, though way in the background beyond a sweet rose/vanilla/praline/saffron combination. In that respect, it’s similar to other rose/vanilla fragrances like Montale Intense Café, Mancera Roses Vanilla, or Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud, but Oud Bouquet is sweeter than any of these, yet still somehow rich and overly sweet, at least not for my sweet-loving nose.

Fans of sweet rose and rose/oud fragrances will certainly like this, as it feels like the extreme realization of a rose/vanilla mix with some heft and class, not totally a gourmand or over-the-top yet still pushing the boundary on how sweet a rose fragrance can be. It’s not candyish, either, along the lines of Kyse Perfumes Confit de Rose, but is nonetheless a little creamy with the vanilla and praline notes, of which the vanilla is certainly more noticeable than the praline. I imagine the saffron is more or less the connective tissue that adds a background herbal/floral quality that keeps the fragrance classy and from shifting wholly toward the gourmand.

Currently the pricing is the same $37 on FragranceNet for the same 75ml tester, which in my opinion, is a steal, and it’s easily worth double, given that it feels like a high-quality creation. I just ordered a backup bottle, myself. Jump on that deal!

Overall, an impressive, elegant, very-sweet-but-not-too-much rose/oud, and an easy winner for fans of sweet and rose fragrances.

Its crazy how similar is to montale's honey oud. The opening and first few hours are identical to honey oud however, the dry down is completely different. Lancome has more chocolaty praline in its drydown while honey oud has more incense kind of vibe. I love them, performance and longevity are excellent on both. For people, who already own a bottle of honey oud or vice versa can easily skip this fragrance on the account of their similarity

Ghadeer540

I’m going crazy right now in this Old version all the comments it’s positive while in the new version 2016 most of the comments is the Opposite .although people say there is no difference between them

This scent is out of this world !! I never owned such a beautiful power beast! Perfect for a night out in the cold season. A GEM!

Oh, man, I want to try this one based on Demi Rawling's glowing review, but the first time I encountered oud in a fragrance (Delina Exclusif) I almost threw up from the sheer raunchy nastiest of it (not to mention a horrifyingly strong rhubarb note).

romanygerges

@moppety27 I totally agree, and I too did the same thing and bought 2 backup bottles of this beautiful masterpiece.

Annabear

I own Lancôme’s Oud Bouquet which I love, and reviewed it some time ago. Recently I purchased two back ups from the testers offered on Fragrancenet. Due to some reviewers questioning its authenticity, I thought I better check my new acquisitions.

They’re perfect, just like my original bottle. Not sure how rumours get started about these things, but it’s good to know that if there are fakes out there and facts have been thoroughly checked, other consumers can be alerted.

romanygerges

So far, there are no fake bottles have been reported of this fragrance anywhere, and I think it would be very challenging to counterfeit such an intricate bottle.

Shimacrema

Thank you @kbee15! I’m going to try the new one as well.

Shimacrema

@kbee15. It was the tester bottles from fragrancenet. I didn’t think it would be less sillage because of that fact. I was hesitant on buying the new bottle because I wanted to try the older formulation. Maybe I need to lol

Shimacrema

This smells absolutely amazing!! I blind bought 2 bottles from fragrancenet and I’m so glad I did. The praline surrounded by the Oud smells absolutely divine. I wish it had more sillage.

LaLuNaveed

I ordered decant of this fragrance, because... well... I loved the bottle. Simple, yet unique and elegant. But when I sprayed it on myself, the scent brought me to my knees... Oh, so gorgeous, sweet praline, vanilla... So gourmand... I could almost eat it, but rose, oud and saffron gives this wonder an edge. This baby gathers compliments every time. I work at a restaurant and the answer I get to my question "hello, what can I get for you?" is "What are you wearing?"... People will notice this perfume before they pay attention to me... Longevity and sillage are both great. It starts very sweet, praline takes the stage, rose is shy, barely there, oud starts gently, but takes over at the end making the praline a faint memory. Safe blind for gourmand fragrance lovers. Such an amazing creation, both, the fragrance and the bottle. 10/10

daniellepotts

I have bought a few perfumes now based off the recommendation of Demi Rawlings and this one is just absolutely perfume!

It is definitely a very sweet perfume but the woody notes to me personally tone down the sickly sweetness. Together it turns an overly sweet designer like perfume into an elegant, unique fragrance. I do feel after a few hours of wear you tend to be left with more of a sweet scent however I do gravitate to much sweet scents so I am very happy with that.

It also has amazing projection and longevity which honestly just makes it the most perfect perfume. I already feel like I want to purchase a back up bottle!

persia0000

I purchased this on recommendation of Demi Rawlings (Youtuber) as well after I had taken her advice and purchased Jasmins Marzipane, also by Lancome Maison, and fell in love with it. Up until then, I had no idea Lancome even had a niche market.

I swoon over myself when I wear this. I'm not getting sweet praline on my skin. I get a decadent oud and rose bouquet, soft and sexy, with beautiful oriental silage and longevity. They have the small bottle at Neiman Marcus, but I will definitely be buying a full bottle if I ever run out. It's heaven in a bottle.

GabbieSmithWindley

Oh dear, this is sweet Sweet SWEET! It's more grown up sweet though than your run of the mill celebrity scents and designer fruitchoulis. I personally don't get much oud, which is about right because I wouldn't classify this as an oud-centric scent anyway. It's a praline/vanilla bomb with a syrupy rose that has amazing performance. It's very sexy and is a linear scent that delights you from the first spray. No harsh/strange openings to get to a magical dry-down. Those that like this should try Aramis Calligraphy Rose and Fragonard Grain de Soleil.

OneMoreDay

Absolute decadence in a bottle, both in design and in execution.

Praline, praline, praline. Partnered well with vanilla. Only it's not all sweetness. The rose is so velvety, so smooth. The oud just gives this concoction an added depth and complexity that it rightly deserves. It's a friendly oud (maybe for some, not enough). And then finally, the saffron, which gives it a soft heat and earthiness to stop it from going over the top.

I love wearing it just for the sake of wearing as it gives me such joy and makes me feel really sexy. Alas, the hot and humid climate I live in prevents me from wearing it in the daytime so my Oud Bouquet is limited to special nights when I'm in the mood for decadence.

Sillage and longevity are fantastic. The juice is an oilier consistency when sprayed so be forewarned against spraying on light coloured clothing. Also, a warning about overspraying as two sprays is more than enough. In fact, I can get by with a single spray on my décolletage or my neck. Lasts for days. I can smell it on my pillowcase too and I go to sleep enveloped in praline clouds and soft rose petals.

It's just hit me, though, the store I bought my Oud Bouquet from has sold out of it and I'll have to find somewhere to get my backup bottle. I'm worried about blind buying the new version as that seems to be a lesser offspring based on what I've read. Funny enough Oud Bouquet was my first ever blind buy. Happily it was a marvelous success. My only regret is that it had to come this late.

osy2017

Be careful with this one, not a blind buy! For example on me smells completely different than on my daughter. On me is a suffocating and very uncomfortable vanilla smell, on my daughter it is very fresh and cold, spring, rosy flower smell, very interesting. This will smell different on different people.

jaa456

Yes, I purchased this based on the recommendation of YouTuber Demi Rawlings. I’ve agreed with some of her reviews so I thought why not. Bloomingdales had a .5 oz on sale over the holidays for $35.00. I never purchased any Lancome perfume before because I found them headache inducing.

My favorite oud at the moment is oud extract by Maison Francis Kurkdjian but I wanted something sweeter and Silk Mood didn’t work on me.

I agree with the other reviews who don’t find this expensive smelling enough therefore I only use this for work, in the winter and one spray is enough.

The comment I received while wearing this is oh you smell so clean. Roses sometimes turn soapy on me. I think .5 ozs is enough for me. Probably won’t purchase a bigger bottle However I’m glad I tried something new.

HelloIvy

When I first applied this fragrance (2014), I applied it strait and close to my skin. All I smelled was OUD, nothing but OUD. so I'm like that's a hard NO... and doubting my purchase. This happened a couple times and I was still like I'm going to sell this on ebay...lol. Well I finally decided to spray this further away allowing a light mist to vale my arm..that is when the magic began and love. Masculine and feminine in the perfect harmony, dancing around each ither as it was met to be. I will not be selling Maison Lancome Oud Bouquet..in fact I plan on buying the reformulation.

Dawnfiller

I blind bought Lancôme Oud Bouquet perfume during the summer when Arizona was over 120 degrees so notes that showed up on my skin were different than now in winter at 65. It was strictly a Oud scent in the heat, beast projection to 6 feet with trail, last 6 hours.

Now in the cool temperatures this perfume smells completely different! I finally understand why people call it gourmand because the praline, vanilla and powdery notes show up. Zero florals appear still and Oud is subtle now allowing other notes to shine. I like this perfume so much better in the winter! Projection is still to 6 feet with a trail but isn’t overpowering like it was in the heat. Lasts longer, 8 hours but skin scent after 5 hours on my dry skin.

Test this perfume on your skin before buying. Decants are offered on EBay. I recommend this perfume for late fall and winter unless you live in cold climate.

gorjess

i’ve been dying to know how this fragrance smells like and finally got a little sample of it.
to be very honest, this is a real bummer. it smells EXACTLY like those typical cheap arabian fragrances and holy crap this got me dizzy, like no joke! it is very strong oud and i dont see any vanilla in here. this reminds me that time at ataturk airport, someone with the same flight as me wear something similiar to this and i got nauseous the whole flight.

so you guys better not blind buy this one, you have to smell it first.

jenniferg0924

FIRST - This bottle is STUNNING!!!!! I literally just stare at the bottle half the time because of how unique and gorgeous it is.

This perfume is perfect for winter!! I have literally worn it so much this winter and it is perfect for the cold weather.

I have a travel size of the 2016 version and had to get this one because of the bottle mostly ;). For some reason i do smell a difference in them but very very slight. This one i smell more praline and the 2016 one i smell more woods.

This scent is soooo unique and have grown to LOVE IT.

My first time spraying it it smelled like rubbing alcohol. But then i waited and about after 5 minutes the praline, rose and vanilla started to come out and i was stunned!

The opening of the fragrance is very oudy, but give it about 5 minutes and the sweet notes come out.

Very unique fragrance with heavy sillage and very long longevity!

9/10 fragrance!

jreiss360

I bought a sample of this after hearing people rave about it. I really thought I would like this perfume as I do like gourmands, but after trying it several times I came to the conclusion that it's just unwearable for me. The biggest problem is that the sweetness is too much and gives me a headache.. The other issue is that it is so heavy and thick and syrupy that it smells fake and artificial. It makes me think of straight up high fructose corn syrup with a hint of oud. I don't know, maybe there is something wrong with just me as so many people love this. Maybe I am more sensitive than most other people, but I can't stand this one. Not just because of the scent but primarily because of the headaches it brings on.
update:
I continued to test this perfume and now I can say I have grown to tolerate it better. It no longer gives me nausea, and I like it better than I initially did although I would not say its a love for me as of now. I feel like I need to continue to test it to see if I can understand it more and if my nose will grow to like it more. I'm not sure if it's just from familiarity from use but I think it's interesting how it totally turned me off before and now I'm liking it a bit better now. It's not my favorite, but starting to grow on me. However, I have to say I don't like it nearly as much as Lancome's Parfait de Roses which is one that I do love a lot.

Nehal shokry

I blind bought this based on recommendation of the beautiful demi rawolling and OMG I sprayed it and was stunned for a moment ...I have never ever smelled any thing that beautiful I actually had a tear it is beyond describing you have to smell it ...it's my most compelimented fragrance beast mood in performance and the best description of it was a child how smelled it and said to my I feel like I'm eating roses ❤️❤️

shinayu

I got a really good deal on eBay buying the 2014 edition. I kept holding onto not opening it as I wanted to do an unboxing video and post on youtube (mainly because of the nice packaging: clear plastic with a logo sticker on top in the centre). However, I couldn't wait any longer and just opened it today but I kept the sticker and put the sticker onto the top of the box just like how it was packaged.

On to the scent, I am not someone who likes to go with the hype (but since I am still new to this perfumery world I think my nose is still pretty mainstream)...but I feel like this was worth it. The moment I sprayed it, this vintage syrupy, smokey aromatic rose scent burst from my skin. I must say as a girl in her mid-20s, the vintage vanity style kinda scent isn't my cup of tea but the more I smell it as it dries down the more I like it. It kinda brings me into the movie set of the movie "Pride and Prejudice" as if I am actually there instead of in front of the screen, watching all these ladies wearing these poofy dresses and hoping to get asked by gents. Or Marie Antoinette in her huge poofy dress with all her maids on the side.

I don't know why this perfume takes me into those imageries but it's definitely one of a kind. Although I am still a small collector and mainly buying designer perfumes this was definitely an amazing scent esp I am super into rose and sweet scents. The smokiness adds a little flare to the scent and makes it more unique. This isn't your average sweet rose scent. This is something. I still don't know what maturity or sexiness is but I feel like this perfume can bring out my inner maturity and sexiness.

Although not sure about longevity, but sillage with one spray is moderate I imagine the sillage will be super strong if I spray 5 sprays on all the pulse points.

EDIT: My gf came into my house and she was like what's that incense scent? Where's that from? I got her to smell the spot where I sprayed the perfume and she was like oh yeah that. She was about less 1m away from me and she could smell me (one spray on my hand). This stuff is strong. So yes, away from the scent I smell incense but up close it's a smokey syrupy rose. I love it.

Longevity is goood I would say it projected for 6 hours and last more than 7+. Since I only sprayed once I will update more on longevity when I get to test it out more.

Flame Maiden

It is very rare that I try a spray of a fragrance and instantly know it's ME. This is so mysterious and sexy and settles down sweetly yummy that it ticks all of my boxes. I have been sampling for an oriental vanilla or sweet floral mix for a little while and trying TF Shanghai Lily, Velvet Orchid, Black Orchid and many others from Designers and they all have something wonderful but lack a certain perfection. In this one, I found it. It is a perfect balance of everything I've been looking for. When you find the perfect fragrance, it just envelopes you entirely, from first spray to 10 hours later when you sniff your skin, it's love.

Perfumedsecrets

First, gorgeous bottle. Second, this thing comes on like a hurricane. It's taken me a full week to understand this fragrance and grow to love it. At first spray you get a dense oud, but that quickly moves into the praline and rose on my skin. This is one tricky perfume because it can smell different every time I wear it. I suppose that depends on the weather and chemistry, but on me it's sort of a chameleon always changing color. I never know if I will get the roses or if they will hide among the oud.

greyhoundmom

I think I just can't do the praline and oud combo. This smells like a higher quality version of Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud, which means that is definitely a dupe of Oud Bouquet but I tried Shaghaf Oud first so there is my comparison :)

Either way.. blah. I was very excited about this one but my nose just does not like it. I don't think oud should be super sweet.. just my taste.. I prefer it dry or only a little sweet and not gourmand, more floral sweet. I love a super sweet scent, but this is just weird for me. Like sugar on a steak. No thank you.

Perrywinkle

It's really hard to write a review when I'm pushing my face into my arm smelling this scent! Haha

Blind buy from reviews 8 months ago. Love at first sniff. Love it more every time I smell it.

Incredible quality, unbelievable longevity and nuzzle-my-neck-all-night sexy.

This review is a year in the making, proof you need to give scents time to really learn what kind of effect they have on your senses.

Like Parfait de Roses, I had tried this one last year and thought, "Fantastic! Splendid! Good job, Lancome! Just too sweet for ME personally. Pass, but honorable mention." To clarify, at the time I tried the newer version of Oud Bouquet, which has the clear bottle with stained-glass-esque backdrop and is part of the newer line of Maison Lancome Haute Parfumerie. The oud is not very authentically Middle-Eastern - by that I mean it's just too "clean" and lacking the fecal qualities of real oud. It's most likely the common synthetic version that's floating around designer fragrances these days. However, if you can imagine oud done in perfect harmony with sweet chocolate, caramel, and rose, this was Oud Bouquet.

I put it out of my mind until a year later and I am going through a sweetness craving. As in, perfumes I long forgot are popping into my mind and I'm seeking them out like an addict. The first two, the VERY FIRST that I was reminded of are Parfait de Roses and Oud Bouquet. Lancome delivers the goods, you guys. I needed the Lancome level of sugar dosage. I went straight for a full bottle of Oud Bouquet, but the original gold bottle because it's just so gorgeous. I don't think I like the scent *quite* as much as the newer version, and I will explain why, but WOW is that 60s-mod abstract rose fabulous or what?! I had to have it for the scent as well as the bottle.

So here is Oud Bouquet in the gold bottle: WINE. I get a blast of yeasty red wine emanating from the sprayer and in the opening on my skin and it is soooooo yummy. Supported by the warm, sticky praline and piqued by the clean oud, this perfume is just a stunner. The opening is all about this wine and sharp oud with a teensy bit of rose, but the drydown rests on the praline. It is here that chalky chocolate comes out. If ever you were looking for a boozy chocolate perfume, this is it.

To my recollection, the newer version was more rosy and possibly *slightly* less sweet and boozy. Which is still pretty sweet overall. It's got fewer gyrations in extreme directions, if you can imagine; more cohesive. (For once a reformulation for the better; can I get an AMEN?!) Both versions of Oud Bouquet have Lancome's characteristic praline found in La Nuit Tresor and La Vie Est Belle. This is just the grown-up lady's nighttime version. She's a woman now.

For those who are looking for a "starter" oud and have found much they like in the current designer scents, Oud Bouquet is a great introduction. It is my personal favorite of all the Maison Lancome concepts. I noticed the sprayer only delivers what amounts to a half-spray. Do not be alarmed. This is likely by design because Oud Bouquet will fill the room and stay on skin for 24+ hours with a half spray. A small amount is the best way to enjoy this powerfully decadent perfume. 10/10

So,

As a guy who’s only been into fragrance for a short while (despite being 41 I never had the confidence to experiment and try new things often) I wanted to give my opinion from both perspectives of buying with a lady in mind and seeing myself.

I purchased a sample whilst searching for a new gourmand/sexy/date/bedtime! fragrance for a special lady in my life and my interest was based on a number of online reviews (Demi Rawlings, Delicious Delights, Brooklyn Fragrance Lover etc) as their descriptions really appealed m despite my concern about the Rose.

Like some others have mentioned, the first spray/experience wasn’t love at first sniff but I kept feeling compelled to go back to the strip and smell again every time I walked into the room it was in. Even 2 days later the tissue carried the scent and it became more gourmand and richer so I figured ‘why not try it on my skin, I’m on my own all night, who cares’? Well, apart from the initial hit (which is powerful) it dried down faster on my skin and became warm and rich quite quickly and I found myself enjoying it a lot through the evening.

Fast forward to yesterday, I was visiting my friend for lunch so chose to wear this and see her reaction. We kissed and she said I smelt beautiful. Over the evening she kept burying her nose in my jumper. Her description of marshmallow, caramel match others but the word that summed it up was her saying ‘you smell delicious’.

I’d agree, I can’t pick out individual notes yet but I definitely get the soft rose which I’m surprised I like then follow a rich, deep, warm, sweet sensual vibe that makes me want to smell more.

So, I bought this sample with a woman in mind and am certain it would smell amazing on her but guys, don’t be afraid to give this a go - it’s perhaps a little unconventional for a ‘bloke’ but it is truly beautiful the performance is fantastic (still very strong on clothes over 24hrs later)

Soulfully Yours

I just received both L'Autre Oud and Oud Bouquet. Such beauties. The bottles look majestic like the king and queen of a medieval Arab world. I only tried them today. It's been around 5 hours and I can still smell both on me. Oud Bouquet is stronger of the two. I wouldn't call it feminine but rather "spicy sweet sweet" saffron rose chocolatey scent.

It is a very strong saffron opening with rose, sweetened by vanilla and praline and settles down into a rich thick sweet opulent scent; strong middle eastern scent. The oud is not present noticeably ..
Reminds me of Indian sweets with saffron, sandal rose incense sticks and a sort of lipstick fragrance.

It is extremely intense. On my skin it projects around 3 hours (which is rare) . On clothes it stays easily 12- 14 hours with the intensity IMHO. After that it mellows down. So don't blind buy this.
Personally I'm loving this more because it LASTS on my skin!!!! Most perfumes don't. I can't see the point of using a fragrance that doesn't stay on your body!?!

Right now this fragrance is talking to me.. Im listening. Enjoying this luxurious blend and taking in everything it has to offer. I wish they had a matching body lotion.
It is very unique and I want to layer L'Autre & Bouquet and see what that feels like.

Update-- 24 hours still on my clothes.
I layer it with Hajar by Al Haramain and I love the result, it reduces the sweetness and produces a lovely scent.

I was just thinking that if I could create a perfume, it would smell like smores by the campfire, with a mixture of toasted marshmallow, milk chocolate, vanilla-ish graham crackers, and woods...and this is IT!!! I bought this a few months ago on the advice of Demi Rawling's youtube channel and have been saving for a cold Fall day to wear. Today is rainy and in the 40's (Fahrenheit) so it's perfect weather. This. Is. Stunning. It's very oudy at first, but then the dry down is just absolutely delicious. I may need a travel size of this, I want it with me everywhere! This is definitely going to be a Fall/Winter staple. 5 stars, all the way!! Could even become one of my signatures <3 <3

This review should go on the page for the 2016 Oud Bouquet, as I did not realize that there were two pages for the same fragrance (but reformulated).
———————————————————————————

During my lunch hour today I walked over to Nordstrom which carries this line of perfumes from Lancome. I was excited to try Oud Bouquet because I like all the notes, and because of the high rating here on Fragrantica.

I'm glad I got to test drive it because the oud compound used is one that I can't wear. Luckily it's well blended and not quite as strong so I didn't get immediately nauseated (it has happened in the past). It reminds me of the same one used in Montale and Mancerra compositions. So if you like the oud used there I would check this one out.

I applied it several hours ago and it's still going strong. I liked the initial 15 minutes a little better (more interesting with different notes vying for attention), but the strong synthetic oud lingered into the drydown, and becomes dominant on my skin. A full nasal assault. I'm assuming my sample is from the newer reformulation.

As expected, Oud Bouquet is a very good performer, but I'm glad it's not a regretful blind buy. Sample before you purchase.

I am wearing this today and was excited to try it even though im not a big fan of rose and oud but it is what I thought... really pleasing and warm- perfectly for winter 8/10

+ Oud Bouquet is absolutely lovely! I would describe this scent as warm, syrupy sweet, oudy and woody. I love the beautiful bottle too. It's a glamorous powder puff (because it goes quite powdery on me after an hour). It's got a bit of sillage has good all day longevity. It's one of my favourite perfumes. Glad to have a bottle, but looks like I won't be able to repurchase. Honestly, I'm nowhere close to finishing my bottle anyway. Plus, i enjoy wearing shower-fresh fragrances on a daily basis. Oud Bouquet is one of my first fragrance true loves.

Aysha14/17

This perfume smells exactly like oud mood lattafa. If your planning on getting Oud Bouquet get oud mood lattafa it’s super cheap and lasts forever on clothes and skin. Also you won’t need much sprays like Oud Bouquet. Wish I smelled Oud Bouquet before buying it. This smells super sweet with woody notes and a hint of rose. You only need 2 sprays max.

mermaidshimmer

I nearly returned this perfume because I didn't love this immediately but it has grown on me and holds the distinction of being the most unusual and memorable fragrance in my collection. I find myself reaching for this often.

Upon first impression this is Church Incense. And it's almost sour. If you sniff your arm, the Incense is intense. The kind of intensity that will knock you out. This is potent syrup.

This fragrance is powerful and pungent (as many Lancôme perfumes tend to be). Much like a savory-sweet stew--I get salty Saffron and sweet jammy rose expertly blended with resinous, spicy, exotic Oud. Yes, this is salty and sweet!

Once the incense vibe calms down, the saffron and rose jam linger all day long and the vanilla and praline are more pronounced--heavenly!

If you spray it on clothing, you'll be rewarded with whiffs of saffron candy sweetness for a week or longer, depending on how much you have sprayed.

This was a blind buy and I am so happy that I did!

I immediately loved it, I couldn't stop my nose. The bottle is beautiful but the juice is simply gorgeous. The Oud and the rose are both equally presents with that Vanilla warmth that wrapped it's arms around me all night long.

The first time I wore it I was complimented by a man.
The second time a woman.

When I wear this I feel like I am in a cloud of gorgeous oud and roses. Some say they cannot smell the oud much but this drys down so beautifully to reveal it. It is there the next day on my blouse and I can smell it still on my skin and hair. If you decide to wear it be sure you will be living in it as it is a beastie.

So all in all this is one of my favourite Rose & Oud combinations. This is so divine and one I will always want to buy more of. I have two bottles of the original and I am yet to try the reformulation.

DR521

This is a high quality chocolatey rose oud with a hint of citrus and raspberry jam. Great boozy opening like a bourbon cocktail, then a complex oud display which morphs into a woody sugary scent. A hint of citrus to keep it light. If you like TF Noir de Noir you might like this a lot. Just a few sprays create a warm embracing cloud that wraps around you like a cashmere scarf. Three sprays is plenty to envelop you and keep you smelling great all day. A steal at the discounters.

Mary89

Well, i blind bought it yesterday, first ten minutes was all about oud, meh, after that it was getting warmer and more feminine, but i can smell something chemical here that I don’t like that much. Besides it’s summer now and the worst time to test it. I can see the potential of loving it in winter.

Babesabe1

I normally do not mind the smell of Oud, I just do not prefer the scent in my perfumes. Oud bouquet is different for me the sweet notes make the oud into a woody dessert with rose berry jam on top. This fragrance smells elegant, expensive and unique. I enjoy this treasure very much in my perfume collection.

fahadharoon

A slightly sweeter version of Soul by costume National. Also slightly less musky animalic.

klonopincandy

UPDATE: I did a total 180 on this! it's true, I still don't usually love oud, but this is ouxi done RIGHT! Not stinly, just a little (wonderfully) medicinal overtone which is what gives it that unique, sexy depth and mystique, and it's what makes it a true OUD, not just some cheap chemical wanna-be, and I'm not saying you have to break the bank, I scored my large bottle for under $70 ;) I take back what I said about the lack of sweetness in my original review. The gourmand notes DO come out. and that sweet delcious rose, making it unbelievably seductive on a woman, yet never vulgar. it's a mysterious, alluring, seductive, exotic fragrance. I went from "meh" to "I need backups, STAT!" i don't think I've been this enchanted and obsessed with a perfume since Dior Addict, Angel, Pink Sugar, and Lolita Lempicka, and those are all pretty old. I can't wait to try Lancome's other out offerings too! I guess I do like oud after all, so long as it's done right :)

klonopincandy

Don't let the gourmand notes deceive you, this is oud through and through. I was expecting something way more gourmand given the praline, vanilla, and rose and the fact that this is Lancome, a house that recently gave us La Vie Est Belle and La Nuit Tresor, both of which I love. But this is STRONG authentic oud. That's not a bad thing at all, and this is not a bad perfume in any way, I just don't really like oud. So this isn't really a bad review, just a warning if you're going to blind buy it, you must love oud! But if you do, definitely try this, just don't expect a gourmand :)

Kiwichick1

The beauty about this fragrance is it’s bottle. Luscious, gold, mirrord, heavy, luxurious. I have come to realise that oud doesn’t sit well with my body chemistry. I’m definitely not a fan of unisex or oud fragrances. Lancome oud bouquet was the first oud fragrance I’ve ever purchased and the last. I sold on my bottle to someone else. I must say though one spray lasted more than 8 hours on me, it was potent stuff, just not for me

Lucyana

Oh gosh! What a strong perfume! I do not like roses in perfumes, with a few exceptions. This is one of them. Pralines give a whole new interpretation of this perfume. It make's it delicious. It's like a rose jam with a drop of Oud.
By the way, it's a beast! Take care with the sprayer.

gtabasso

rose, oily oud and a sweet praline; the base is an oudy praline, the top was like most other rose-oud combos; nothing special; in the final drydown it is all about the praline and is a gourmand fragrance with a hint of woodiness. It is a deep, rich beauty. Grows on me every time I wear it.

thachaya

This one is perfect for me! All I need for a perfume is already blended in this magical bottle
Really beautiful bottle very impressive from the opening til the end.Smooth and harmonious like watching a finest musical drama..Opening chapter with the interesting Arabian dance then faded away into the background to let the main ballet lady showed out perfectly sweet and intense perfume played as a masterpiece of art..Powerful and last forever..Excellent!

White_flowers

Hidden gem! Delicate Centifolia rose mixed with vanilla, oud and saffron. Magical!!!

Doby

Special!

invisiblewoman

This is a great frag. I tried it for the first time yesterday, and I noticed the oud immediately. Sharp and medicinal. I like oud, but I'm picky about it, so I was a little concerned that this one mightn't work for me, but I like to give everything a fair shake, and so I resolved to wear it all week to really get a feel for it. Well, I woke up this morning, sprayed a little on my hand, and voila! Roses, roses, roses and some beautiful praline/caramelesque undertones. The oud is still there, but has faded to black, as they say. I really love this line. I may have to try a few others. As it stands, yesterday I would've warned oud-haters away, but now, I think I can (tentatively) say that even if oud is not your jam, you'll be all right so long as you love a good, old-fashioned, gourmand rose :)

violentviolet

A very well done "oud" fragrance. The oud is not overpowering here. It meshes well with the sweetness of praline and the vanilla notes. The sweetness tempers the woodiness. The rose is smooth. The saffron a bright, though quick note.

Tight:)

Redpula

What a stunning yet cozy and gorgeous fragrance this one is. I agree that this is too jammy rose and gourmand sweet but the other notes like oud and spices balanced the floral sweetness that turns out to be well performing and very captivating aroma. Max two sprays is good enough to produce a huge cloud of sensuality and sophistication. It can be heady if over applied.
The full 3 stages smell journey is thrilling.
The dry down on my skin has nuances of V&R Flowerbomb dry down. As potent as Alien Essence Absolue, La Vie Est Belle and Angel eau de parfum. Strictly colder seasons, formal and date scenarios.
Please no more than two sprays to experience sexiness and royalty.
Highly recommended 4.5/5.00

MrZayas81

An encapsulation of east meets west,
Ôud Bouquet showcases the poetic french elegance of rose in a very syrupy expression, infused into the middle eastern madness of oud.
The blend seductive quality comes from an overdose of mouth watering vanilla laced in a milky praline accord.
Performance on my skin totally bombastic, with ballroom feeling sillage and over twelve hours of longevity.
Ôud Bouquet in an amalgamation of bewitching contrasts that portraits images of evening romances.

Soulsucker15

This is the Titts!!! 11/10 Masterpiece. Just bought a backup bottle just in case they decide to discontinue this.

GodKing

I purchased Oud Bouquet EDP for my girlfriend this Christmas along with heavy-hitters such Chanel Gardenia Eau de Parfum, Xerjoff Lira, Cartier Le Baiser Du Dragon and a couple others. Oud Bouquet was a blind-buy but many of my trusted friends give it glowing reviews, so it seemed like a safe bet. Because of the busy holidays I was only able to smell it on paper and, to be honest, it was nice but I was not overly impressed.

Well, my girlfriend came down stairs on this chilly morning and I immediately sprang to my feet and told her she smelled fantastic...correction, boxer-dropping spanktastic. LOL! We played the fragrance guessing game and, although it smelled somewhat familiar, I didn't quite recognize it so I guessed Oud Bouquet...and I was so pleasantly surprised when my answer was correct.

Oud Bouquet smells nice on paper, but the sensual magic of this stunning fragrance is released when it touches the female skin; caramel sweetened creamy vanilla, blanketed in waves of smooth oud (not the medicinal barnyard variety), and enhanced with gentle floral kisses of subtle rose and seductive saffron. Oud Bouquet is nothing short of Awesome!!!

Performance is stellar as it lasts a honest 12-hours, projects well above average, and leaves a nice scent trail for the first 3-4 hours. I just realized this fragrance reminds me a bit of Mancera Aoud Vanille which is also in my Scent Armory. However, the similarities are less than 50% and having both is certainly not redundant IMO. To me, Aoud Vanille has a slightly more woody-masculine feel and is better suited for the gents.

Dudes, buy a bottoe of Oud Bouquet for that special lady in your life and you'll thank me later...just not while you're standing with your pants around your ankles. LOL!!!

luxe_aura

LOVE. Rich, sexy, warm, sweet, radiating. From start to finish, just great. I am not an oud girl but this is a gorgeous combination with the rose done right. Lasts forever.

utsavgo

Drydown is very similar to aoud vanille

Vlud

This is a great blend of oud and rose with gourmand aspects, definitely one of the best in the game.
There are similarities to Roja's Amber Aoud, but this one has also a very authentic chocolate touch and I find it a bit more feminine.

Feeling: opulent, exquisite

I believe the ppl that are disappointed got the reform,,I haven't smelled that, I have the original & OH MY BaJeeZEEZ this is gorgeous! I hve the reg LLO as well. It is pretty, but the sweetness this one has seals the deal.So many good notes well blended into one perfume. I am not much on spraying skin. I will to test, b/c it doesn't last long & of course easy to wash off if you hate it. If I KNOW I love it & want to smell it alll day long, it goes on sprayed about 10 inches back from the shirt, chest, & hair area. You spray anything there, you're going to smell it all day, or others will, even if you go nose blind. Bonus~ spray your bra ladies!

adice

Yeah, found this one sort of disappointing. I was expecting something much more gourmand with a less prominent oud. That was an expectation partially based on some of the reviews here as well as on Youtube. I mostly just smell the typical (middle eastern style) loud, sharp oud smell along with a subtle underlying sweetness. Didn't do much for me but I'm not an oud fan anyway. On my skin it's like 80% big sharp oud 10% rose 10% generic sweet notes.

The bottle is really pretty.

If you're looking for a candy sweet, milky, rose and saffron perfume I'd recommend Safran Troublant by L'Artisan instead. If you want a rose that's woody (but not oud) and not too sweet I'd recommend Rose Musc by Narciso Rodriguez. If you want a bold, spicy, resinous rose try Calligraphy Rose by Aramis. Montale Intense Cafe is a great sugared, sort of chocolatey rose perfume. Honestly, I keep trying more rose/saffron/vanilla perfumes hoping to find something that makes scent magic for me like Safran Troublant but that has better lasting power (sadly, *nothing compares*).

utsavgo

This one reminds me a lot of aoud vanille..Good scent

hyu80

I can barely smell the oud in here, mostly praline and vanilla, plus the rose shows up sometimes. The silage is strong, and longevity is more than a day. I applied it on my wrist at 5pm the day before yesterday, and until this morning, I can still smell the praline and vanilla, very light and pleasant.

ken.z008

Im afraid I dont like this perfume. It reminds me of red match sticks and old news paper soaked in heavy cream. There is a note, maybe sulfuric/gun powder note, that bothers me a lot. Maybe its the saffron that doesnt belong there. I can definitely smell all other notes such as vanilla, praline, oud, and rose but combined together with saffron ruins it for me! How I wish I experience the positive reviews of other fragranticans here, where they describe the scent as pleasant and lasting, which fills the room. I cannot get that experience after so many tries!

Seemi

I know that Lancôme have brought out a new formulation of Oud Bouquet for a larger 100ml bottle. I have bought the original formula from Notino.co.uk for around £58 then unbeknown to me they reduced it to £38 on clearance and people snapped it up I was too late. I then tracked it down at The Perfume Shop here in the U.K. for £100 per bottle. I held off and got it on a 15% promotion which was a better deal. This fragrance is a beautiful rich candied rose oud concoction. Initially it's a strong blast but just leave it and let the magic take place on your skin. It's so beautiful and I'm going to use it sparingly it reminds me of the attar oils my dear beloved mother loved using, these memories are held very dear to me. If you can find this beauty please do try it.

Edit: just managed to snag a practically full bottle on eBay for a great price so happy

mister_chaz

I've worn Oud Bouquet for a few days now and my final verdict for this one - it's absolutely gorgeous!
It's a delicious rose and creamy confection combination. Very warm and comforting scent. The oud is tame and likable here, so those people who tend to shy away from oud fragrances might actually like this one. Amazing longevity and projection. After morning application, you will be followed by a delicious perfume cloud all day. This is my favourite fragrance from Lancome so far.

kameron

@Zakkarah- out of stock in notino US, so, gone forever. Well, extreme niche qualityu, with a strong projection and 1 day longevity on my skin, amazing. One of the most beautiful oud I have ever smelled, soft, different from the arabian one which I find it agressive and cloying. The conbination with praline, rose and vanilla is astonishing indeed. The new version is way changed, less rose and less potent but this one is a true masterpiece. Grab it quickly because is discontinued. Available only in new version for 180 eur.

9/10 very very good.

zakkarah

..bummer.....Notino US dont ship to Sweden and I cant find it at that great price in any of the european Notinos...:-)

Thanks anyway and enjoy your find!!

Annabear

Not only is the bottle and presentation box beautiful, both are an accurate indicator of the contents. In a word, exquisite.
I have L’autre Oud, and this is similar with less leather and more chocolatey pralinee rose, it is mouth wateringly gorgeous, and lasts for ages.

minaminamina

The more I use it, the more I love it. I might stack up before it becomes impossible to find.

This is strong & passionate. I get Rhum with lots of Vanilla on a cloud of Oud. It is sweet, but a boozy kind of sweet. I do not know where this comes from, but it makes me think of a female version of Jack Sparrow, only that this Lady Pirate loves to stay clean.

Great scent for Winter, suitable for day & night use.

Longevity is extra long & silage is heavy to moderate. It does roar at the beginning, but it will settle down after 15 minutes to a point wrehe you can move around without getting the whole street to turn around.

This is a great scent that can be bought at a great price as it is out of production. Newer verision out (not that great by the way). Remindes me of so many new niche fragrances that have been launched lately.

I would suggest sampling first thou, before committing to a FB.

nabtal5zama

Oud Bouquet is Oriental/French scent , well balanced perfume that works well wherever you go. So if you're a fan of Oud added to~>"Parisian/perfume" and want to get compliments, give this a splash =]
.
.
Good sillage and longevity ..

lukewarmilk

The first thing I get from it is a bit of a medicinal oud opening but that only lasts for like 5 minutes and then I get powdered rose mixed with pralines. The oud is way in background giving the other notes something strong to rest on it's acts as a power booster to this fragrance. It's very warm, sweet and comforting. I have to agree with everyone who says it's gourmand but it not cloyingly sweet or anything it's just prefect. Lasts forever on the clothes and more than a day on my skin it's so potent I only go one spray sometimes two max less is definitely more with this one.

raramoha

just one word (( sexy ))

alvindavis5

This has become my signature scent. It is a very sophisticated, sexy and regal scent. This is a unisex fragrance. I had 6 women come up to me and ask me what I was wearing. My confidence just got BOOSTED 100%. I am new to this Fragrance Lifestyle and after those compliments I AM OFFICIALLY ALL IN. The Oud, Vanilla and Rose notes are blended flawlessly. This is Niche Fragrance Quality. I have just purchased 3 more bottles one for my mother, girlfriend and for myself. I will purchase more because this is a hidden GEM and I'm sure Lancome will either raise the price, reformulate it again or discontinue it. I will stock up because I want to wear this from now until the grave. This is a Beastmode Fragrance. Serious Compliments, Sillage is off the chain, Last 8 + hours. You all must get your noses on this.

Update: I had a dentist appointment today. As I was getting my teeth cleaned the dental tech in the next room stopped in and ask my dental tech did she smell that scent. My dental tech pointed at me and said that is him that smells so good. They asked me what fragrance I was wearing. I told them and gave them the website I purchased it from. As I was leaving the dental office I held the door for an elderly man. As he walked past me he stopped and said, Son you smell good. I thanked him, I went home and immediately went online and ordered 2 more bottles.

Update: If your still on the fence you better act fast. The price has went up on many sites to $125 for this fragrance. Notino is still selling at $57 but not for long. I just purchased 2 more bottles from Notino at $57, because all sites including ebay and amazon are selling for no less than $125. I told you all this was a hidden Gem. Now the word is out and the greedy corporate vultures have raised the prices. Next Reformulation, Next Discontinued. "And So It Begins"

pumpkinqueen

So I normally loathe Oud but this is one of the most beautful oriental perfumes ever. Strong, musky, powdery and sweet but not in a sickly way. It lingers and evolves and gives about 4-5 hours wear without doing a usual Oud and sticking on your clothes for the next week!

LittleParfumista

First of all, the bottle! Gosh.. Beautiful!

The fragrance itself to me is a wonderful ambery and slightly woody praline with a hint of rose and vanilla. Spicy, yet sweet. Definitely unisex.

Lasting a good while and constantly amazing me with its fine line balance between masculine frag and sweet joyful feminine juice.

A nice fragrance for lovers of sweet and spicy, but not fans of mass market sugar bombs.

shushkin

MMmm a softer version of Xerjoff More Than Words. I really like this essentially sweet fruity oud. There is a weird bit of chemistry happening on my skin that makes it smell like there is coffee in there! MTW was way too strong on me but this a very wearable oud fragrance. If you have been wary of oud then I think this is would be a great introduction for oud newbies.
It is sweet but not too much. Yes, I would class it as a gourmand. It feels very female friendly.
Good longevity and moderate sillage. No it is not the fragrance bomb that is MTW.

MrsPress

This is hands down the strongest fragrance that I own. I can hold the capped bottle at arms length and smell it. It is beautiful, just be warned to go easy with this one. One very slight spritz of this is enough to last all day. I doubt I will ever make it through the entire bottle and it's only a 2.5 ounce.
