Éclat de Nuit by Lanvin is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. Éclat de Nuit was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Fabrice Pellegrin. Top notes are Black Currant, Red Apple and Lemon; middle notes are Freesia, Lady of the Night Flower, Jasmine and Orange Blossom; base notes are Praline, Vanilla and Sandalwood.

Éclat de Nuit celebrates the atmosphere and the splendor of the summer nights with its floral-fruity-oriental composition, signed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin.

Fruity flavors of black currant and red apple open the perfume and develop into the heart dominated by "Belle de Nuit" flower in combination with other white floral notes. The base is warm and sweet, made of pralines, woody aromas and vanilla.

The fragrance comes in an engraved round glass bottle that follows the shape  previous editions. The stopper is made of metal and decorated with a crystal at the top. It is available in quantities of 30, 50 and 100 ml.

I find this one more wearable than Mademoiselle Rochas edp but I find them both rather screechy. Eclat de Nuit, is the nicer of the two as it smells slightly smoother to me. I think the sharp fruits and sweet notes smell better blended here and it’s cheaper than Rochas!

SusiLisa_pixie

I get a very metallic red apple and praline with this. Cute little bottle but not for me.

Grimdeux

Very cute and juicy black currant scent. And I mean CUTE. Also the bottle is just adorable. Refreshing berry, then after the dry down you get a gentle layer of praline lingering on your skin. Immediately upon spritzing, I thought it would be more suited for a teenage girl. Slight, as most of the Lanvins are, and doesn't last longer than an hour.

I'm sorry to change my mind on this one after 6 months. I usually end up liking most of the things I get (make the best of it mentality), but the black currant note is too strong and nauseating, it comes on like cough syrup, and after the first month, every time i try it again, I need to scrub it off.

MademoiselleMaya

Winter test - I find it simplistic. Nearly a black currant - jasmin only scent. Jasmin a maybe only. It's black currant dominated. What you sniff within 1st minute is what will accompany you during the ~6 hour wear.
It is refreshing. Possibly a hit for a hot night out during summer? It seems to be the target weather to love it. It's likeable though I can feel 2-3 notes max (musk being last).

I bought this because I'm a die hard fan of the Eclat de Fleurs, and I also have a good relationship with the d'Arpege. Well, I don't hate this one, but it must be the least favorite on the line by far.

I swear I have an amber-ish note on my skin and pretty prominent, too. It reminds me of one of the victoria's secrets' perfumes as a straight up dupe, but I just don't remember which one it is. Definitely inoffensive, sexy, but not unique. I would use it as a casual night-in-summer scent, or even for bed.

The sillage and its longevity are alright.

I'm wearing this in 30C heat and the blackcurrant is just too strong. I need to try it in cooler weather and see if it's better. Love the bottle though.

MK55555

Smells nice, fruity fresh scent, but doesn't last at all. I like it, but don't reach for it just because of poor longevity.

For me this fragrance is too blackcurrant than I want. I do not smell lady of the night at all and for me it is not sweet and gourmand. Overall I like it, bit it is not my type of fragrance. It reminds me of Karl Lagerfeld Fleur de Mûrier, but Lanvin is better.

Estacey3

Candy apple as perfume.

I love the bottle and the cap. It smell nice, kinda sexy. The sweetness in this fragrance isn’t loud. This is a very unique perfume in my opinion. The main scent you get is woody but there is a noticeable gourmet sweet quality in it. First I thought it was too woody but now I’m in love with it.

Very pleasant and versatile fragrance indeed. I purchased It With a little Cosmetic Pouch as well. Gr8 value for sure!

this is a pretty ,fresh, citrusy scent that would suit a young girl. pity it only lasts for 30 seconds though.

Best buy for myself personally in a very long time. It's really frizzy with a touch of chypre and I am really treasuring this gem. It's in the fruity floral genre yet sparkling enough to stand alone. Everytime I wear this I get huge compliments. Yummy. Lanvin and I seem to share a symbiotic relationship in chemistry. There's a slight harking to Rumuer which is not for everyone but I sense it's there nonetheless. It wafts like voile in a breeze. It shares a little DNA with the arpege line albeit eclat. I purchased this as a gift set for myself here in Queensland for mother's Day. Unfortunately I have been through a tough trot with some of my travelling collection being stolen. Now to get back to this fine fragrance. All of twenty five Aussie smackeroos for a 100 mill EDP, 10 mill roller Ball and a 100 mill body lotion what a find. You know there was a time Lanvin was exclusive. Sadly it has to compete with thousands if not hundreds of thousands of fragrances these days. I don't mind sticking with the familiar and trying something new. Incidentally, this was a blind purchase.
I love the round Deco cut flacon with equally prismatic pink juice. The stopper/cap is pure luxury. Just goes to show you don't have to fork out the big bucks to feel like a million or more. This fragrance lasts. It dries down to a musk. Not mentioned in the notes. Musky floral. I don't mind. I also found it's really suitable for layering and adding depth by a subtle patchouli fragrance. Use your imagination.
All in all. I'm extremely satisfied with this fragrance. I just hope they don't limit it's release. Cheers. T.

It is very long lasting but this is a no for me. It just doesn’t work. The blackcurrant is too intense. I gave mine to my cousin

JustSimpleThings

Wow, I've managed to test this on skin now. To me, this smells straight up like apple with vanilla sugar! Slightly burnt sugar too.

Fresh warm cotton candy with a hint of apples.

Its a late September. One is waiting for the upcoming festivities, enjoying the sweater weather and hot drinks. The nature is golden, yellow, in the air tranquility.
One goes shopping for those seasonal caramelised apples. Where the whole juicy fruit is dipped into caramel. Well, this is the perfume which smells exactly like those caramel apples taste like. With a slightest pinch of cinnamon.

noneofyours

Sweet, pretty, light. Doesn’t last or project that well but it’s a happy little scent at a very reasonable price.

kitzikel

This smells like bebe glam, ck eternity and chance by chanel when mixed. I can really smell the similarities most especially the initial spray, it smells so much like bebe glam. While the scent is slowly transforming to middle note, i smell a weaker ck eternity with chanel chanel and then it went like that all throughout the dry down. Bebe glam and ck eternity is much more stronger and made me feel nauseous, while eclat de nuit is soft and balanced.( It is far more different than its siblings arpege and de fleurs which i also both have as these two smells the same at drydown.) And as the base note lingers, i really smell chanel chance right now. It has this aura that says i smell rich$$$. Lol. I can say it is elegant and sophisticated. This one will be great for colder season i suppose? (I will find ways to work it out since i live in a tropical country). This will be great to wear in special occassions like weddings since it is kinda romantic and sensual and it leaves an impression as the scent lingers and leaves trail.

Nikkafragrance

Not a bad one, but I have to admit that I had much higher expectations about that one. First of all, nothing nuit or night about it, it is a happy, girly fruity floral with a touch of sweetness. It opens with some sweet berry mess, which within a 10 minutes settles into a subtle gourmand scent - I can smell red apple, pralines, vanilla. Then after another 10 minutes it turns again into a mess on my skin, I can't detect the scent of any particular flower. I was cirious about that lady of the night flower, but nope, nothing except some diluted freesia. Silage is moderate, longevity is weak even on my clothes, maybe 1-2 hours. Don't get me wrong, i like the perfume, it is like a much lighter version of Wish by Chloe, yet I hoped for something unique.

cccupcake

Sweet gourmand fragrance. Smells happy! I love it!

PricklyAndHot

Lady of the night flower, apple and praline are the most noticeable. Gourmand fragrance. It smells catchy. I like it.

ScarlettX

This doesn't have the longevity. It's very light and simple. The base is a little bit masculine. The top notes were light and airy.
An okay scent, not a bad one, just a bit boring.

Plamka

Just tested it, smells sweet and fruity, personally reminds me of Nina Ricci - Nina (the red apple) and the Nina elixir version, there is a citrusy note too, so its not too cloying. Nice one
