Sorry to tell, but this smells like soft paint thinner, and it doesn’t change in the dry down. Not getting any cotton candy, nor burnt sugar, or fruits.

Many reviewers say this fragrance is a room filler, but I do not think so. I have asked other people if they smell it on me… they always say yes, but it is faint.

Do sure, it’s gets you anosmic real fast. I’m glad I didn’t spend money on BR540, as it is an elusive smell, faint and not much interesting. Try it if you are curious about this DNA, and I hope you are not as disappointed as me. Nice bottle and packaging, and I’m sure clones the original…. But then, the original is just that, a lightly smelling paint thinner.

Maybe my nose is getting defective with the years. Please judge this perfume for yourself and review it.

Mehrdad.Sh

Unfortunately I get noseblind to it after 20 seconds and I could not enjoy the scent, so I gave it away. I say it's 80% similar to bk540.

ayamail26

I smelled Al Haramain’s Amber Rouge and I found it way too spicy and masculine.

This one here is sweeter and more pleasant. It doesn’t have that saffron note and the ambergris is not overpowering.

It leans more feminine because of that sweetness🥰 I really like it ❤️

Sabrina_A

It’s a decent perfume. Not supergood but not bad either. I dont think it’s that similar to BR 540 but I’m one of those that dont like the 540.
It doesnt last long on the skin AT ALL, perhaps 20-30 minutes. You have to re-spray it many times during the day. Good price though.

elrich

just smells like caramel and amber it smells so good i just have no idea when i’d wear this

QbanoHavano7

Better than 540 because there’s no metallic note! Woody sweetness!

Cherryz

The first time I tried it, it smelled of melting plastic and medicine. It's been in my cupboard for a month now and it smells like burnt cotton candy, sugar and melted plastic with a small amount of medicine peeking through. Seeing it got better in a month, I'll give it another try sometime later in the year.

NoirMemoir

Personal story:

I do not have good memories in regards to this fragrance. It was the first middle eastern fragrance i've bought for my (unfortunately) ex-wife, not long after this hobby sparked my interest. It was also around the time when middle eastern affordable fragrances flooded the market in my country, especially houses like Lattafa.

I remember i could smell it on her from far away even after she came home from work, 8+ hours later and she kept telling me she got compliments left right and center for it. Silly us, we agreed to gatekeep it, not knowing how popular this DNA was in the grand scheme of things. Of course with the afforementioned flood of middle eastern dupes, it became really popular, being a fragrance DNA that was heavily cloned and can be found on the counter of every shopping center for a very affordable price even in my country. Things really backfired on me, because now arguably one of the most popular scents ever created have sad memories tied to it, and since my nose is sensitive to this DNA, i smell it very often.

Its a burnt sugar, cotton candy sweet saffron fragrance that leans on the feminine side to my nose. It gets slightly darker and more... "burnt" as it dries down. I don't think this DNA requires introduction anymore tho.

One last thing, if you don't see the fact that Ana Abyedh Rouge is a clone (and a decent one) of BR540 then im sorry but your perception of this fragrance is flawed.

Powerfulpatchouli

Oh this is good. I would not say a dupe for BR40 although there are comparisons on the opening. This stands on its own. Incredible price point. I will purchase this again. An underrated star in my opinion.

K98

Dude this Shsshh is so good

andrewpc84

Fresh citrusy Baccarat Rouge vibe. Chilly and sparkling not warm and cloying take.

The dry-down is unique and reminds me of a seaside dinner in the summer.

Lattafa hit this one out of the park. It can easily be worn daily and not reserved for special occasions. It was a blind buy for me and unregrettably so.

There's no guilt in spraying as much as you like, as the price point is unbeatable. Goes either handsome masculine to pretty femme. The citrusy amber notes are balanced perfectly with the amber notes. Easy blind buy. Chef's kiss 👌

ArianaS

Almost identical with Baccarat Rouge, but after 2 minutes disappeared almost completely. Very very weak.

Drchrisnicol

This is the one that taught me the important lesson of maceration. Initially, I thought little of it. After a few months gathering dust on the bathroom shelf, it took me totally by surprise. What had been rather medicinal was now a rich warm caramel halo that envelops all day. It reeks of opulence and self-indulgence. And at a really crazily cheap price!

miamiipeach

Smells identical to MFK B540 Extraite. I’ve gotten many compliments by both women and men. Lasts for hours, but doesn’t induce a headache.

thr33stars

Cotton candy nerve agent.

artsyellie

Almost a year later, I'm revisiting my review to say - still NOPE.

I left my bottle in perfume jail (darkest, driest, most hidden and cold corner of my closet) and revisited it 11 months later, so safe to say it's very well macerated.

I decided to spray it today to check it and I absolutely couldn't do it. Even the smell from the bottle gave me an enormous headache. I am baffled by the reviews saying it's weak or barely there...this stuff is crazy potent.

I decided that this DNA is just not for me... all br540 clones smell atrocious to me, like chemical fire or doctors office, but make it EXTRA nasty.
Sense of smell is so interesting and intriguing, I trully want to smell what other people are smelling - the cotton candy, the fruity goodness, the airy divine scent of br540 and all it's cousins. BUT unfortunately I have to throw the gloves and give up. 😕

tglong95

I have BR540 and to the average person this will smell pretty much identical once it dries down. Compared to the real thing this has a harsh synthetic opening but that's to be expected. Most of the middle eastern "dupe" frags are like this with a few exceptions. This one is definitely unisex just like BR540 but my wife wears this more than I do.

The best thing this has going for it is price value - I got a bottle on amazon for under 30 dollars and this stuff is so potent that you really only need 3-5 sprays to last all day. 540 is a bit of a love it or hate it fragrance but if you love it you'll probably love this. Honestly I really don't see the need for anyone to spend hundreds of dollars on 540 when this exists. It's SO close to the original and is a fraction of the cost.

Glassmoon

So I got this fragrance two days ago because I smelled Armafs untold and liked it. This was on sale so I gave it a try. Although this is supposed to be a clone of Baccarat Rouge, I have no idea how BR540 actually smells. I've seen many good reviews about this scent but got a shock when I first sprayed it on my hand. It smells like spray paint in the opening and horrible alcohol and orange smell but once it dries down it becomes fantastic. I believe this is one of those perfumes that needs to macarate so that the opening smells good as well. As for the dry down it's almost identical to Armafs club de Nuit untold. Perhaps a bit sweeter but still a wonderfull scent. Kind of like a burnt sugar / caramel with some pear and orange. This isn't what I wold normally wear but I actually like it . I say give it a try if you find it for a fair price.

konga5

JUST AN UPDATE/EDIT : As well as to clear up some air-headed reviews BELOW me. This is one of your basic BR540 clones. It's not perfect- but it will "get you there". As no-frills as this is: it's pretty darn good for the LOW price and a bottle that is not altogether embarrassing to put out on your dresser. (Alas , my inner stem is NOT RED as shown above - I thought that was a cute little bonus but..oh well). So .. I have had this for a while and am about 40% done (still plenty left) and today -- it started to PROJECT a bit more ! BR540 clones can make ya go nose-blind just like the real thing. So - take that as you may and pretty much ignore the last half dozen off-target reviews . THIS. DOES. NOT. SMELL. LIKE. CLOUD. If you have Cloud and you buy this -- it will not feel redundant.

jdvice

Do you want to smell like sweet fruit for a couple hours? Then this fragrance is for you.

toxictorrent

This smells like Cloud at the opening until it becomes a headache bomb to me with the citrus and aromatic scent to it. I've never been a fan of aromatic scents so I'm not surprised.

ghoul333

i've never smelled br540, but to me this smells just like ariana grande's cloud! like a slightly fresher version with more fruit and no vanilla. i also don't seem to go nose blind to this, i kept getting whifs the whole day and it seems to have decent projection too

toosimilar

It is like watered down BR540

BitteB

Just got this a few days ago. First day I tried I could not smell even 5 sprays on my arm and I was very disappointed. Today I tried with a “fresh nose” right when I got up, only one spray and resisted smelling it the first minute while it was still wet. That did the trick and there she was! I could smell it. Very interesting smell and yes, I can see the resemblance with BR540 which I have a sample of. I have sniffed it all day now and it is definitely interesting, but not as easy going at its sister AA white. I like it now and hope it will grow more on me…and the people around me😉

hevke

Hm, I'm not sure how to feel about this scent. It is similar to BR540 but the sweetness in AAR lacks the depth that BR540 has. Also not sure if it's just me, but AAR also has this mint note? I sprayed 3-4 spritz on my arm just to test how it would go on my body chemistry and all I can smell is spearmint sweet gum tbh. Not bad, but not what I was hoping for. I think this scent would be better for spring or early fall rather than summer or winter. I'll keep trying it and I might post another review.

confornia_

Alcoholic opening but within a couple of minutes you get the full scent which I personally love (I have never tried BR540). There's a plastic quality that I really like and it leans feminine but I have no issue wearing this as a man. I can't speak to the longevity but seems moderate as the rating shows. I would also wear this most of the year as it isn't at all cloying or harsh, it has a softness, but maybe not in high heat as I prefer something more fresh and bright. I got 100ml of less than £15 which is quite shocking for the quality. I do wish Lataffa would remove the little diamond beads from the lid as it makes it look cheaper.

Omarsannn

Many ppl r saying they can't smell it after 30min, most likely ur going noseblind, i personally don't but majority of ppl do. So ask someone else if they can smell it :)

SAE_87

A nice fruity/fresh ambery scent, bit of a harsh chemical opening but dries down nicely.

albiki22

I bought it because I wanted a cheaper version of BR540. However, it ended up smelling like By Her Burberry.
By Her is done by Francis Kurkdijan as well so it has that sweet burn that everyone likes from BR540. However, I like BR540 more because it has a spicy touch besides the sweetness. Ana Abiyedh is sweet and less spicy.
If you are looking for a BR540 dupe, I am not sure this is the right one, you will get a similar smell though. However, if you like BR540 and By Her Burberry, then buy it. It smells very nice!

bubblepoppin

Bought this as a dupe for BR540 and now its one of my daily riders (esp for sunny days). Unlike BR540, it's not cloying or sickening on a tropical climate (SEA). A tad synthetic but overall a nice one. Ngl the lid is tacky af but it is what it is 🤷♀️

mikekoh96

I dislike BR540 DNA in general, have to wash off Armaf Untold after testing it off a shop, similiar experience with other BR540 clones. the usual sickening cotton candy and burned plastic scent is simply not for me, especially its 30 Celsius all year round. too cloying. and the DNA is too common, everywhere i go, I smell this.

but this one is bearable, still not a fan of the DNA but I can see myself wearing it once in a while. Its less sweet than other clones. Smells a bit more waxy or iris at the opening but it suited my preferences better than other clones. good performance too

and its freaking cheap, $10-12. if you expect it to be as refined as the real BR540. well, that's more of a your problem of not managing your expectations. its $12, what do you expect ?

Samasama

Tbh, after trying all the major clone houses dupes, this is…

*grabs cowboy hat with wet hair and cowboy boots by the beach at night*

still the one i run toooo, the one that i belooong tooo, still the one i want fooor liiiiife (still the 1😌)

GothyPanda

I’m a little torn on what to say. I would get a wiff and say yes, I smell BR540 one moment and another moment I smell something cheap. There is something inherently different that makes it smell like an old lady every once in a while. Okay for the price point and I keep reading from people it will smell better over time leaving it in a dark, cool room. Okay, I’ll come back to update my review. I still like the Zara Rose temptation the best. Although it’s not expensive, I’m somewhat regretting the buy because of that smell shift I go from really loving it to it smelling like a frumpy vintage perfume throughout the day. Curious if others get that vibe.

Loliky

RicardoVegas

A delight to the nose. I really feel fortunate for having smelled this, and it's not even the real BR540! I find it subtle yet intoxicating with a scent I can't really describe. I received a compliment of smelling like honey and almonds. The duration is long and at $20 I sometimes wear it to sleep.

Arondaevu

So here is my thought. I was in Neiman Marcus and had never smelled BR540 and been wanting to see what the hype was about. I do think it smells nice but however when it comes to spending that much money on a fragrance I have to be absolutely in love with it and I wasn’t. It was just ok so I didn’t buy it. So, I see this and decided to try it based off the reviews of it being a good clone. I do think it smells very similar and I like it. I don’t think BR540 is worth spending $325, but this little $27 I spent on this, I’m not mad at 😂😂. May are saying they go nose blind to it. I have a very sharp sense of smell and for me it’s a light scent, but at the same time it lingers and I get whaffs of it periodically. But at the same time I find BR540 to be the same way. So I say that to say if you like BR540 but it’s not in your budget or just don’t think it’s worth the price this is a good alternative

amg7613

It’s an excellent BR540 dupe for the price! There is more pear in here and it’s prominent, but it doesn’t detract from the original scent. I’m going to piggyback on a couple other reviews and also tell you that with this perfume, you are not going to get the “ethereal” quality of the original. It’s great for everyday wear and lasts about 6 hours.

Xvc116

Sweet warm caramel dessert with burnt edges. Very decadent.

carmelocotton

Tiene un olor azucar quemada, no me disgusta demasiado y no la volvere a comprar. No entiendo como la gente rapido le busca comparaciones, dejar de comparar y ver si realmente te gusta cansinos.

Claviator

Cotton Candy. Pear.
Maybe for kids?

konga5

Might this be the BEST BR540 CLONE ever ?! Not sure yet HOWEVER is is the least expensive one -- the PRICE is cheaper than any old piece of junk at T.J. CrapRaxx ! I am very well versed in Baccarat Rouge 540 Clones and other than Instant Crush ; I THINK I have tried them all (I even have an original bottle of the REAL BR540 - with about 50 sprays left that is for SPECIAL OCCASIONS ONLY! ) . The clones all seem to have the same basic VIBE and composition with varying degrees of strength . This one from Lattafa does seem to be the strongest of the bunch - even though I am only 15 minutes into this. Like the others this feels 89% close , minus that amazing "air-y" feeling that the original has. The test comes with time. I'm going to use this a lot for a week- then let it sit - cap off - in the basement for a while. I will get back to you . Truthfully ; this one feels BOLDER than the others I tried so I am feeling optimistic !! Lastly : NOTE TO THE NOSEBLIND : If you have THIS or any of the other clones -- and go noseblind in a few minutes - you really have to use this a LOT and let it macerate (sit) for half a year or more. It will come back stronger !! You may also want to SPRAY an article of clothing the NIGHT before . Wear it - See how it smells in the morning - then wait for compliments from co-workers ! One final thing to do- if you're going out with a group of friends for the night - spray one or two of them- see if OTHER people notice them and see if YOU notice how they smell by 2:00 AM . SIDEBAR : My bottle did not come with the thin red stem inside. Mine is clear. I like the red one better.

cristianaclg

I don't know what yall are talking about, this fragrance gets me loads of compliments. Projection is insane, same as longevity. I'm saying this because I can't smell a lot of fragrances on my skin, and this just came into my life at the perfect moment. I love this perfume, but I can understand if you might get tired of it. Really sweet and gourmand, definitely not for everyone.

karinevandal

For some reasons, i am completly noseblind with this fragrance. So disapointed. Altough i’ve paid a ridiculous amount, like 20$ for 60ml, it still to much. I had to put 20+ spray & still need to reapply not too long after. Will not buy again.

Jessethewalrus

Smells like br540 for like 3 minutes.. then absolutely disappears.

Bethygreen18

I have not smelled BR540 however I do get the same burnt sugar vibe which most people say is in BR540. It is similar to cloud however cloud to me has more of a strong mens cologne vibe in the opening. They are similar in the dry down though.
It is light and I would say I go nose blind to it after a while. I am a fan of it. Lightly sweet, a little green probably from the oakmoss. Its pleasant and non offensive. Definitely worth the money and I will be repurchasing. Its a nice easy grab for when you dont want to think about what to wear.

Saj_Shae

@Neilabcd No it doesn’t. It’s a slightly fruity version of the BR DNA. It’s extremely strong and sweet. I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone goes nose blind to it.

Neilabcd

Guys does this have a middle eastern vibes?

Woolly Israelita

IMO, it smelled like loads of cotton candy soaked in kumquat juice, wrapped in whale blubber guts aka “ambergris”.
It was so nauseating, it had to go immediately!

Fisaji

I understand some feel it is a great alt to BR 540
I see where they are coming from but I feel this is too synthetic, I won't discard it but definitely won't buy again, longevity is not great too

davann69chhin

I find this fragrance too overwhelming, i can't handle it.

Fesantos

I really like this perfume, It's not as long-lasting, but I don't mind reapplying throughout the day/night, It's a big bottle for the price! People have asked me if I am wearing BR540 when I'm wearing this. I honestly have not smelled BR540 but if this a dupe I am very happy with it, I like that's on the sweeter side.

HMY

I dont like how people are keep advertising Cloud and etc as BR 540. Can we just say its inspired by? Every era has certain perfume scents that others are trying to mimic, remember Coco mademoiselle or Light blue era?
I did not know Ana A. At all, i just sniffed it in store and fell in love. I agree that you can go nose blind to it. I did. Some girls said I smelled beautiful but I could not smell anything. Its very sweet like fruity brown sugar with airy touch.
It has moderate projection and silage but for the price? I purchased mine for 19€ excl shipping (which was 6-7€ in the end).
So, for this. I would gladly repurchase. The bottle looks decent. Its not ugly as someone says.

Edit; I let my fragrance to macerate for some weeks but its still very weak. Its so weird beacuse when I smelled in in the shop it lasted for 4 hrs. Mine lasts 30 min, perhaps I got wrong batch? Anyway, i will not repurchase it due to lasting power.

TeaBaggy

I have never smelled BR540 but if this is a "perfect" dupe to it then it's not worth the hype. It does not last on skin and it does not project well. The smell at first was wonky but when it dies down it is a little better but it still doesn't project good and last at all.

AuraAngelMuse

I've never smelled BR540, but I've smelled a few of the dupe perfumes and they all have the same base DNA. Ana Abiyedh Rouge smells like Cloud, more so than Guess Red Seduction or Burberry Her, which have more of a fruity cherry/strawberry opening and then venture into the BR540 DNA. AAR has the sweet burnt sugar, cotton candy, whipped cream and slightly lactonic vibe in the opening. Then it ventures into the base that people describe in so many different ways. For me it smells like one of those stores in the mall like Hollister or Abercrombie where it smells like they regularly drown the store in men's cologne. It also gives off a newspaper vibe, and in all honesty something about the base reminds me of wet diapers as well. I have no idea how I can still enjoy the DNA of these perfumes, but I'm guessing it's because the sweet aspect keeps me addicted. I love super sweet gourmands, and I love a sweet perfume with a slight masculine touch.

I would say this performs pretty well but I usually spray perfume on my clothes so it sticks around longer. It's got a good sillage. The sillage doesn't smell as good as sniffing up close. I get alternating whiffs of the sweet aspect and the masculine/newspaper aspect. Up close its just the yummy sweetness with the masculine aspect far in the background, just enough that it's still there, but not taking over. All in all, this is a much better alternative to Cloud because it's so cheap for a big bottle and smells the exact same. Now that Cloud is $60 bucks, I probably won't ever buy it again. I will stick to this and Guess Red Seduction.

lillyinthevalley

I have a sample of BR540. This is quite literally BR540 repackaged. It doesn’t last as long, but other than that I have no complaints. It is just a tad bit less sweet. I’ve smelled Cloud but I don’t think this is similar at all. Amazing price!!

xavi617

This is an insane fragrance considering the price. Absolute Best Bang For Your Buck that I’ve discovered in this journey. Not only is it incredibly close to BR540 but also pumps out for 6+hrs minimum. My sister in law has this and she wore it for my daughter’s party and as I spoke with her at the end of the day , this was still pumping off her. This performance at sub $20 is insane.

Isabella2003

I havent smelt baccarat rouge, but this is an insanely close « dupe » to cloud by ariana grande. I have both and if you have one and are considering getting the other, i dont think its worth it theyre almost identical to me

Alice99

The opening has a really strange smell, artificially sweet with a very wierd menthol note. Reminds me of chewing gum. After a couple of hours it does resemble Baccarat Rouge.

siemacotam

Very plasticy and almost gasoline at first, I don't get much fruit. It reaches a very smooth middle I cannot describe, I guess it's the caramel. It then it mellows out and smells musky, reminding me very much of Ariana Grande's Cloud. It doesn't have that much silliage over time but I found that the cloudy notes remain on my skin for a long time, I quite like that.
Not very "strong" perfume per se, you can reapply often.
And the bottle is gorgeous!

Crocus

This is like BR 540 Lite. It opens with a vague nail polish remover scent…then becomes a little fruity and a bit less sweet than BR 540 so maybe I should say it’s reminiscent of BR but not necessarily a dupe. The pros are I don’t detect that off-putting latex smell present in so many BR dupes and it dries down quickly to a nice skin scent. Major con is its longevity—faded to nearly nothing after 30 minutes. Smells nice but be prepared to re-spritz often, or overspray like crazy.

AstralMatrix

The bottle I received is, in summary, a chill, skin scent, non-nuclear version of Mancera Instant Crush.

It gets stronger once it dries down and becomes its own thing while still having similarities to that DNA. Really nice and way better IMHO than Franck Olivier Pure Addiction, which I find weaksauce and underwhelming.

I'm amazed at how Lattafa can make such nice boxes and bottles and still fill them with such nice fragrances for under $20-30.

Out of 12 Lattafa bottles I blindbought and received this week, I've yet to be disappointed. They all do their thing while having similarities to other fragrances.

autumnblue914

A less sweet, more sour, fresh and fruity Baccarat. But the BR540 inspiration is really apparent.

I wish it went more into its own direction because I've never seen notes of Nashi Pear and Kumquat in a perfume personally. It's a nice smell overall, just wish it was more of its own thing.

alibada

it was a big disappointment for me when I found out that it is considered a BR540 aperture, because I do not like the original ! but I honestly adore this scent and can't get enough of it. It is precisely what is different about her, the specific "banana" that you can feel. thank God that she is different.

Bouquime

This perfume is said to be a clone of BR540 by MFK, I don’t have that do I can’t compare the 2.
Ana Abiyedh Rouge is a sweet fragrance, projection and silage isn’t excellent though but you will smell like money.

Eman Gheba

OMG! this is the very first perfume I’ve ever had to scrub off my skin. So cloying and synthetic, I gave my bottle away.

beatrix75

A very good 👍 dup for Baccarat R 540 ,good price and excellent performance I like it so much

angievoicu

I hated this so much. Smells like a hospital and then it settles like a sweet smell combined with...sweat (especially on the clothes)? I really don't understand why it smells like that, i wanted to like it so much. I gave it to my mom and she says she likes it (although she admits it's strong). NOT a safe blind buy at all.

Sweetandlightgal

I really like this. It's similar enough to Baccarat to fulfill my desire for that fragrance. Less sugary sweet, but I'd say 80-85% similar. It projects well and lasts many hours. In these regards, very similar to how Baccarat performs on my skin. I paid $20 bucks for this and it was money well spent.

idle_cat

At first I didn't see the resemblance at all but after spraying it on a sweater and letting it settle for a few hours I can definitely see the resemblance to BR540. Very similar dry-down but the sweetness is a little different. Similar effect to when I spray it on skin. Initially theres a blast of alcohol, then for a little while it smells like a watered down baccarat with a hint of aquolina pink sugar. The dry-down still smells similar but with less of the pink sugar smell minus the liquorice note in it

AndreaB76

Nice BR540 dupe, i like it. Armaf Untold is better, but this one is nice to and a cheaper dupe as Armaf...

LaoGanMama

I’ve never smelled BR540 or at least never tested it. Smelling this invoked a memory in me, so I’m pretty sure I’ve smelled it in the past on other people. I get why this is described as having a mass appealing quality. But for a clone people rave about for being very accurate, I was hoping to catch a glimpse of why people call the original a masterpiece or a;”cornerstone of perfumery.” To me, this smells like the machine used to make cotton candy with little charred bits of sugar. Warm, ambery, sweet, ambroxiny. It’s fine. Longevity and performance are great.

kj77

Same as Cloud

Sal James

This is identical to Armaf CDN Untold, a bit more on the feminine side but has this rubbing alcohol smell in the beginning but it will go away quick, so I’ll give it a 9/10.

Keep in mind you will go nose blind quick, so don’t blame the longevity, it’s still there.

Bellalust4lyfe

Once again TikTok convinced me to buy a perfume. I like it, smells almost identical to the pink sol de janiero, which is also a baccarat dupe.

ToharBlanki

don't buy it!!!!! it takes off after 30 min.I bought this and ARMAF-club de nuit-Untold as well and it's just not worth spending even one dollar on it! This perfume is just weak, so weak that no matter what it's supposed to fake it's just weak! I haven't smelled the real baccarat but there's no way its smell is that weak! The ARMAF-club de nuit-Untold even ufter shower wont take off. dont waste your money if you wont a good perfume but the ARMAF-club de nuit-Untold

BunzLee

This is a weird one for me. First of all, I haven't smelled BR540, but I am aware that this is supposed to be a clone. So I blind bought this to have a test smell before considering tracking down a tester of BR540.

The very first time I've sprayed this on, I had a really hard time smelling anything at all. I am usually not hard of smelling, but this was more something like Molecule 02, meaning that it took a while for my nose to register it. What came after was, simply put, not pleasant. The best way I can put it, is a mix of alcohol, something really sterile/synthetic and a faint smell of something sweet that is vanilla-like. To me, there's nothing remotely enjoyable about what I'm smelling and I would rather not use this again. I was quite pleased with the other clones from this brand, but this one was definitely a "taking a shower to get rid of it" fragrance.

tapanpatel

I had high hopes for this fragrance after watching YouTube reviews, but unfortunately, it turned out to be disappointing. The scent comes off as cheap and somewhat reminiscent of BR540. In the first 30 minutes, it's like experiencing a harsh, nose-bleeding, alcoholic version of BR540.

If given the choice, I would opt for Ariana Grande Cloud over this fragrance. I often buy inexpensive fragrances to meet the minimum for free shipping, but I never end up using those cheaper options. This particular fragrance falls into that category.

To put it simply, is it worth $20? Meh!!

Orangeboom999

I have a complex relationship with BR 540 DNA. I want to like it, but when i wear it, I cannot smell it. Ive had compliments and comments from others. But I just cannot smell it. Very cheap entry point. And one of the notes is Kumquat. Which is a fun word to say

Moofasa

Man this was just not nice. But it was my fault since I blind bought this but never again.
In my opinion this is a fragrence for female.

naterían

I do not know why, but smelling this fragrance makes me angry. It's not that it smells so bad, i just get a little annoyed whenever i smell it. It smells nice enough but it almost smells like.... earwax? I'm having a lot of trouble with this one.

Donya.nb

Hmm… I mean it’s okay I guess. It was very cheap and it had great reviews on tiktok, so that’s why I decided to buy it. Everyone and their mother said that this was an excellent dupe for baccarat rouge 540 hahaha. I had never smelt baccarat before so I was very excited to recive this perfume. The first thing I noticed when I sprayed this perfume, was the alcoholic smell in the beggining that hit me right in the face, but that usually doesn’t bother me much with perfumes in general, cause it usually dissapears within 30 second or so and then u can smell the actual fragrance. When the alcohol had disappared after 30 seconds I noticed that the smell reminded me of ariana grande cloud, which I like but the lasting power is just not that great. It’s the same with Ana abiyedh. It smells good but it doesn’t last. I overspray the hell out og this and I can’t smell myself after 30 minutes… in my opinion cloud smells better even though they’re quite similar. Cloud is a bit creamier and last a little bit longer. So in my opinion I think everyone should go for cloud rather than Ana abiyedh rouge.

dzintarsmagons

The low quality is definitely noticeable and there is this medicinal smell coming from it , especially your clothes will have this medicinal smell on for two months. I did gave it multiple wearings , but I am selling it, or I will give it away to someone if no one buys. I guess what can you expect from something cheap. I love Khamrah by Lattafa , though. I find nothing cheap about it.

Raieonnl

I mean it’s baccarat-ish but doesn’t stay on long AT ALL. It also has a harsh alcohol smell for a hot minute after spraying. The best baccarat dupe I’ve found is from ALT fragrances.

Colossalscent

A little bit disappointed with this one, it's an airy version of BR540, low quality and is weak as fuck, literally doesn't project at all, don't know if it's a problem of my batch. Zara Red Edition For Him is a better alternative and it costs the same.

5/10

Martowino007

I have BR540, and this was a job well done to replicate it. I have never tried any other alternative BR540 clone out there, but this is pretty close. I am loving it.

ravenjane

I'm not sure if I got a bad batch, or I'm somehow noseblind to the notes, but I absolutely cannot smell this at all. I can't smell it on paper, I can't smell it on myself, I can't even smell it in the air. I get *slight* hints of oakmoss, and otherwise a scent that reminds me of ginger ale. I'm honestly really disapponted :/ if this is the fated BR540 dupe, then I don't understand the hype. Still a very pretty bottle and a great value for money, but not quite what I was hoping for. Off to Mercari you go, pretty lil bottle.

Shinder13

I do agree this is a good alternative to BR540. Only difference is, with BR540, I am sometimes nose-blind to the scent. It wafts in and out of my olfactory consciousness. And that's the same effect on people who smell it on me. It's actually a quality that I like about BR540. Ana Abiyedh Rouge however, is more linear and keeps going strong. It's also a little less metallic than BR540, with lesser burnt sugar-esque quality, and more cotton candy feel. Just like BR540, I am more inclined to wear this in the evening and on cooler days.

radi85

This fragrance smells great. I tried about 15 fragrances in my local store and i got this one. And when i came back i saw it's a BR clone, which explains why it smells so good. Great for the price and cool bottle also.

poltergeist

Just got my bottle of Ana Abiyed as well as Al Harimane Amber Oud Rouge and Amber Oud Ruby Edition and the Lattafa is my favorite BR540 dupe so far. The Al Harimanes seem to fall a little flatter where Ana Abiyed seems more "sparkly" like the real BR540. All 3 smell practically identical to BR540 though, so I don't mind. Now I can save my real BR540 for special occasions. Maybe the Al Harimane's will get better with a little time to macerate..

ReeReeLove

I've never smelled BR540 so I can't say this smells like it. But I can say that it smells very similar to a BR540 dupe that I have. I also have Ariana Grande Cloud and this also is very similar to that. So much so that I layered this with AG Cloud and In the Stars by Bath and Body Works. This a very soft, airy, sweet smell and I really like it. I did detect a very faint minty smell which may have just been the alcohol coming thru when I smelled it. I did get a few compliments at church. So outside of it being a dupe for BR540, it's just a nice fragrance. Definitely unisex in my opinion. The only thing is that I found myself going noseblind to the scent about a couple of hrs after the initial spray. I'm an oversprayer by nature so I reapplied to see if I was noseblind or if the scent had worn off. And again, shortly after I sprayed, it seemed to dissipate. That may just be a me problem though. My final verdict is that I love the scent, I love the price and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Until I build up the courage to splurge for the real Baccarat, this will do just fine. Lol

Koksandkola

I just got it. Certainly authentic and fresh batch. I thought something is wrong with it. Extremely weak. I just smell a bit of pear and this is it. I don't get the hype

ABRAetirleri

Armaf Untold or ?
Ana abiyedh rouge?
Best?

Zeezeeq

Hard to love.. not a safe buy.
Sweet rubbery old bandage. I don’t this.

scentedangela

This one is not for me. I have smelled BR540 and it is similar, but not in any kind of worthwhile way. Upon smelling this, the phrase "greater than the sum of its parts" was brought to mind lol. The notes were all there, but somehow this one just made me nauseous, whereas BR540 is obviously heavenly. But what can you really expect for 20 bucks! It was just sickeningly sweet, and did not have the depth/ contrast of BR540. I can only describe it as cotton-candy like. I had to wash it off within 20 minutes of spraying it on my wrist because it was making me nauseous. It could be my own body chemistry, but yeah, not for me.

pussycatfatfat

An attractive aquatic musky scent, with underlying spices and something earthy/grounding. Very unisex, leaning towards masculine-ish. The ambergris is an interesting note.
I feel like Ariana Grande - Thank You Next would be the feminized version of this.
-
It’s very sweet and candy-like on my skin! I definitely get the caramel notes.

Yalamddd

Yum. Smells pretty much just like Cloud to me which is also similar to br540.

Nanalvzpink

It does smell similar to BR540 but with an added minty feel and to me the sweetness is less in this perfume.

EJJ

This lasts forever. On skin it lasts for 12hrs, that is saying something. I use it for layering, it gives cheap fresh fragrances depth and extends their longevity to all day.

Yoni159

Stinks with synthetic candy smell dont like it at all. Very poor smell. Maybe i got some bad batch

Thunderthighs2023

This is just ok for me, I expected more from this fragrance. Pretty similar DNA with many other scents. I can't liken to BR540 as I don't have that one. But its pretty good for what it is and will grab occasionally when i'm feeling meh and I don't know what to wear. I much prefer the Ana Abiyedh over this but I am aware they are very different frags. Will not repurchase.

Edit:
Tested this a bit more today and I can't stop smelling it. I take it back. The dry down of this is to die for. Very beautiful, sweet, and woody at the same time. Anyone close to you will love it. Closely becoming a love for me.

Quintets

I liked it and like others the caramel notes are fairly prominent on my skin. It does have a sweetness around it and the spicyness underneath. I'm still waiting for the woods to come out. The projection is pretty strong and given this is my second test on my skin, it's doing fairly well. To me it's unisex and even though most people think it's feminine, a particular kind of man can wear this. It would be the kind of man who has the confidence to wear a pink shirt with his biker tattoos. The skin scent does have an edginess for me. I have a BR540 sample and this does not have the elegance and layering of BR540. Definitely stronger than AG Cloud, though. I'd wear it and I'm enjoying the aroma, but it's not really my cup of tea.

artsyellie

There is something in this that turns my stomach and gives me an instant headache.
I guess it might be the ambroxan.

To my nose this is an unisex fragrance, with stupidly good longevity and nuclear sillage, absolute steal for the money if you want to smell like a mixture of aftershave, hospital disinfectant and burnt sugar.
I would absolutely never wear this, it's one of the worst perfumes I have experienced, utterly repulsive. If this has a resemblance to BR540, I never want to come across it.
I smelt Cloud a couple of times and I was not found of it either.

Scent: 2/10
Longevity: 20/10
Sillage: 30/10 (will wake the dead)

olganbo

Smells really good ! It's a sweet caramel scent very airy and inoffensive. I bought it because I love cloud by ArianaGrande but it doesn't last long but this one doesn't last too ...

ShaylaJadore

This gives me fruity/cotton candy with a hint of caramel vibes. I want to LOVE this, but it just does not last. In order for me to get this to last, I have to put on lots of oil or vaseline. This smells really good and is an exact dupe for BR40. I only purchased this due to the price point, this was a blind buy for me. Worth the money if you do want something like BR40 for less money.

Bluebella23

I’ve made a mistake to spray it on my hair..after 3 washes, it still was there! Very good perfume, well blended but not my cup of tea!

achromaphile

Everytime I use this fragrance, it makes me sneeze like crazy and causes an allergic reaction on my skin. That's unusual because I don't experience these problems with any of my other fragrances, which makes me question the formulation of this one... Also, the formula is incredibly oily so be careful when spraying on clothing (especially a crisp white shirt) 💀 As for the scent itself, it's a sweet wood scent that disappears after half an hour. I regret purchasing, so I wouldn't care to have this in my collection. 2/10

Asweid

Great soapy scent smells expensive

Bendking

It’s definitely a br540 dupe but it definitely doesn’t have that same kick that it has. The opening to me is quite harsh and makes my nose tingle but once it dries down it becomes better. It does not project too well, but it does last long and you will go nose blind to it. very nice solid bottle with good atomizer, cap looks nice but is cheap. Its pretty good for 17 dollars 8/10

RickPinto

In my opinion, this stinks...
A chemical scent, as if it were a plastic smell.
The drydown is not much better, it has too mild, chemical and unpleasant aroma.
I don't know if it needs maceration but I think it's really bad in nature.
BR540 or instant crush are light years away from this.

Autumnlifefountain

watered down Baccarat Rouge. 20 minutes and it’s gone

Mystères du Château de Dé

Hazy Ambroxan. People like it on me but my nose finds it challenging and conceptual.

I'm lucky (?) to be able to smell this one, since there are Ambroxans that disappear to my nose within minutes. I swear I feel this one stimiulating the olfactory bulb behind my eyes. And it flirts with headache inducing but never tips over into a headache.

My limbic system responds with a pensive emotional state. Rouge is neither relaxing nor offensive. It's a little bit sensual and a little bit off-putting. When I make a point of noticing it, it's usually strong, then a few moments later, hiding.

It's mostly base notes with a brush of caramel. Not airy. Synthetic evocation of a sweet cave on a exotic planet, in a 60s sci-fi movie. Synthetic ambergris from a sea dragon, cotton candy alien flowers, and some musky creature that hopefully will be friendly but no guarantee.

The dry down 6-10 hours later, which is when the Ambroxan haze has burned off, is sweet and pleasant. It hangs on fabric for a day or two.

This is a new bottle and it's possible the fragrance will smell different after it macerates for several months. I'd better pump out more sprays and let it sit.

Pernillaw

So i tested this and absolutley think this is so similar to Burberry Her Elixir? The same DNA, exept that Burberry Her have strawberry and vanilla-notes. But overall the same warmth. And a really good Baccarat Rouge-dupe!

Tessa03

Absolutely LOVE this!!! It's sweet & airy. I don't get any bandaid/medical/dentist smells out of this. I received a compliment the 1st time I wore it. Not beast mode but I pair this with Oil Perfumery impression of Baccarat Rouge and the two work well together. A beautiful scent and I cannot believe I bought this for $23CAD!!!

Kwena._

i've had this for a month, and i've been really trying to convince myself i like this scent, as it supposedly smells like B540 and of course who wouldn't want to smell like the it girl scent. Anyways it has a very harsh chemical opening, then as it dry downs into some woody slightly sweet scent which i just don't seem to like.

leonaV

My thoughts after first sniff were easy - hospital, sanitiser vibes. I was wondering how someone would like to smell like this. Then I got home and among all papers I tested in store was one that smelled so heavenly and I couldn´t recognise it since it smelled nothing like those perfumes I tested that day. So I was forced to come back to discover that beautiful sweet, deep and kind of a fresh scent. And it was this!! So don´t get mad about the initial spray and wait at least two minutes. You would be really surprised how perfume can develop.
It also reminds me Cloud form Ariana Grande, but Ana is more mature, more deep and more mysterius imo. Cloud is like a little sister of Ana.

Himawarinonioi

What are you all smelling?
This smells like some old ratty sweater left in a car in the heat for a decade

Only listed note I get is kumquat. Rotten heated kumquat. I can't even sell this, I wouldn't wish this scent on my enemies. Wth

romanGM

When I first got it, it smelt really nice and sweet but now after a few months of use, the initial spray and the dry-down has a really sharp synthetic smell of Pear ( less so on the dry-down ) - personally I don't particular enjoy this smell so I found myself using it less.

I'm not sure as to whether its the conditions or I've just got a bad batch as I've kept it on my desk and away from sunlight and humidity.

However, during the first few weeks of use Ana Abiyedh Rouge it smelt incredible and for sure worth the low price.

Np 28 16 94

I really want this perfume to work for me but it lasts about 10 minute on me 😒

Cloudyscent

The first few times I used I finally understood why people said the Baccarat smelled like a dentist, it does have that smell of latex gloves.

But after 2 weeks this smell went away and I feel like it smells more like a juicy pear. The smell itself is just like baccarat, an airy cotton candy, I got this for 14$… so it’s really inexpensive, I use this more to layer with other perfume than wearing this alone because everyone is wearing this beautiful scent.
It does a really great job with layering with Yara by Lattafa.

Mike_S

I tried BR540 on my skin in a big department store. I liked the smell very much but to me it's more feminine and not for my taste. When I came back home and my wife smelled the scent she loved it (not for me, for her). So naturally, I did what a good husband would do and bought her... Lattafa Ana Abiyedh Rouge :D
I had never smelled this fragrance but because of the excellent price (€26) and good reviews I blind bought it.
This thing is excellent!
The opening is a bit harsh, but it goes away after 3-5 minutes. After that it is identical to BR540.
Longevity on my wife's sking is enormous 12h+ and the projection at least 1m for 5-6h .

I haven't smelled the other clones that get a lot of hype but, if you like BR540 dna you should definitely try this one.

A 9,5/10 for me!!!

Samasama

The accords listed as citrus and aromatic are all wrong. This is straight up cotton candy with a faint old banana peel that i find amusing. Nice DNA and understandable why BR was so cloned, must be omnipresent in some areas. Not where i live tho so imma rock this like that Kirby in heels GIF.

srimati

All I get is caramel, sweet on top of sweet, and an aquatic/atmospheric vibe. It has no personality. I have never smelled BR40 but if it's anything like this I would not want it. I've tried to like it by wearing it a few times but always regretted it and layered it with something else. It was a blind buy and this one didn't make the cut along with 3 others. Unfortunately I am limited with testing the Arabic variety of perfumes.

ashantismells

Blind bought this as a man and ended up giving it to my sister. It smells pretty good but is definitely not unisex, this is 100% a feminine fragrance.

Longevity is crazy and will last you a whole 24 hours, maybe even 36. Even after washing with soap and water I could still smell it fairly strongly. Gives me a bit of a headache because the opening smells like car exhaust but its alright when it dries down.

A proper milf fragrance. If you are a milf i recommend this. 👍

makeqfit

On first spray - on skin - it smells like petrol! Not a pleasant smell. Unless you're a petrolhead! Settles down after a few minutes and the sweetness begins to come through. Then the projection starts! Difficult to smell on skin after awhile as it seems to make one nose blind. Maybe it's the petrol! It does linger in the air though. Good price point, bought off Ebay for £14.

rosesblanches

I sprayed on a tester strip. Felt a little disappointed because I was hoping it would have the lavender like Ariana Grande Cloud. dropped the strip into my bag and forgot about it.

I came home and everything in my bag smelled like this perfume. For days. Definitely beast mode! It's grown on me and will be a gift for myself when the occasion arises!

Irie

Never smelling BR540, this was a blind buy which I now regret. I usually don’t go for perfumes with caramel / sweet notes and this solidified why I don’t. I wanted so much to like this but It just isn’t me. It does take some time to dry down in to a sweet toffee/ caramel skin scent but dissipates quite quickly. Not remarkable and will be giving it away.

Kdsosassy

I could not smell this when I first got it, & I sampled it the other day because I was going to declutter it. Not to mention that the bottle is hideous to me. This is wonderful. I actually prefer this over BR540 extrait because it’s sweeter. It also helps with the longevity of other fragrances. I cannot get enough of this. I think it sat for about 3 months before I got this reaction.

Joamy

An easy blind buy. Sweet skin scent, but with projection and longevity that you wouldn't expect.
I can't understand anyone rating this as 'ok' or below, it is bang for buck and stunning.
Smells identical to Baccarat 540.
You could layer this with almost anything.

sweeetl0w

smells like bananas...?

Rocky Dogboa

Came in today. I've heard a ton about going anosmic to this one. To help with that I put a pea sized dot of Vaseline on each pulse point to hold the scent. As far as smell and performance. Yeah, this is a really, REALLY good dupe of BR540. My lady enjoyed this scent on me. For the price point, I'd recommend

Greg & Claire

I can’t describe this - but it’s absolutely gorgeous. Wow! Very addictive.

EvenstarFaerie

This is just beautiful! I have never smelled BR540 but if this is what she smells like then oh my goodness, she is perfection.

She starts off fruity but not sickeningly sweet, and it doesn’t take long for the caramel and geranium to come through. When the oak moss and musk start to make their entrance… she just balances out into such a gorgeous and sophisticated floral fragrance that isn’t too sweet nor too musky. She smells like money and elegance. I am in love!!!!

Xerxex

I have BR on one arm and AAR on other one , after 3 minutes they are the same , to me on BR side some super iso E is in the show , don’t feel major differences . If you want to wear BR but you are on budget then go with AAR , similarity is almost 97 % .I tried Ariana grande and Zara red temptation . In my opinion AG has nothing to do with BR . ZRT is a feminine scent , kind of being somewhere there inside the zone of BR .

ayesharshd

super beautiful and nonoffensive scent! can be worn any time of the day or year IMO.
there's this sweet spun sugar type of scent that's accompanied by some musk and lots of citrus/fruitiness. it smells super elegant and sophisticated to me. I'll definitely be buying backups of this. it just smells divine!
also, like many other Lattafa's, the lasting power and sillage are amazing!

Dr_Alis

This is an amazing and long lasting perfume.
Sillage is phenomenal. I think it is just for ladies not for men. The flowerish smell is dominant and maybe some of ladies argue that it's a middle Eastern perfume, but I think it's not harsh. Remember it's not good for office and may annoying to people. Overall , it's worth to buy it.

Beffuhnee

Personally, I think this is the best BR540 dupe I have found. Previously, my favorite had been Dossier Ambery Saffron. This one beat it out with the lasting power and strength. I think this one is smoother and has more complexity to it as well. There’s something about this one that just has more depth and intrigue than any other clone of BR540 I had previously tried. I would also say if you like AG Cloud, this is like the elevated version of that.

As for what this smells like it is airy, sweet, and has a comforting cozy vibe (think soft blankets and lazy Sunday mornings). I get a touch of caramel and cotton candy, but not in a sickly or sugary way, with a warm, woody, muskiness coming through as it dries down. There’s something medicinal about it as well, which sounds gross but is actually quite pleasant. I just want to wear/smell it all the time.

H.audrey

It's a faited smell, disappears quickly.

perfumista's_paradise

Im a fraghead and it just arrived to me (ordered it for 22€ online) and this INSTANTLY is my new favorite perfume. Period.
It really does smell like BR540 and the PRICEPOINT! Is 👏insane👏
Projects very well, seems to last a long time too.

It is a sweet woody amber ambroxan perfection.
I'm a girl btw, and I would say this does lean feminine, my boyfriend said he'd never wear this (but he also would never wear a unisex perfume unless it leans very masculine) but to each their own.

10/10
Just wow.

EDIT:
❗️I have NEVER in my ENTIRE LIFE gotten so many compliments as with this one!!! The same day I got this I wore it out on a friday night, the second I got in my cab a lady driver asked me to write it down for her and bought it! When I was around bars people kept asking and saying it's so good! Also, beware of overspraying - this thing is a beast and can suffocate the life out of a person who doesn't like sweet perfumes or perfumes in general.
But BOY OH BOY is this a gem find.❗️

Hautechic

THIS! This is my new go-to everyday perfume. Ever since I got BR540, I’ve been looking for a cheaper clone to wear daily so I can save my real BR540 for special occasions. It felt like such a waste to wear it everyday cause it’s so pricey! But this is honestly the closest thing to BR540 to the point I can’t tell a difference after the dry down and that’s huge considering I wore BR540 everyday for a long time. The initial spray has a bit of a strawberry more fruity scent to it that reminds me of plastic Barbies? But it goes away within a few minutes and then you’re left with the same complexity of BR540 - you get the wafts of caramel and all the airy fizzy citrus and slight spice. Even side by side I can barely notice much difference. I own a few clones of BR540 but none of them are as satisfying and similar to the real thing. This may be very slightly sweeter but I actually enjoy that. I have Alt Crystal 23 both EDP and Extrait, Cloud and Red Temptation. And I find Cloud to be not even close whereas the other two have a really strong sharp smell that reminds me of dust and dry wood (really unpleasant). This has the smoothness and depth that BR540 has and the longevity isn’t as good as BR540 but does last long enough to make it through the day. Must buy! I already ordered a backup cause at $24 you really can’t go wrong.

Hibaabdallah

it smells like a fruity Baccarat, i like this parfume.

Drchrisnicol

Being a thrifty Scot, I wanted to sample the ambience of this acclaimed fragrance, which allegedly clones the even more acclaimed BR540, before buying the original.
Well, I’m glad I did before forking out for the real thing. Yes, I got the medical/dental opening, much discussed with regard to the original and, indeed, to this clone. And then, …… well nothing really. Nothing emerged from the surgery door. I had the strange feeling of wearing no fragrance at all all day. Where were all these seductive notes much described everywhere? Maybe my nose is just on wrong? But I am grateful to Lattafa for sparing me making a costlier mistake.

EDIT:
I have always been a bit suspicious of claims made about the efficacity of leaving bottles to macerate. But I step forward humbly and admit to my earlier mistake. 5 months down the line, it seems a different beast altogether. Now, it has a real fruity / caramely presence ( after the surgical opening) that wafts around you for the best part of the day.
Today BR540 is on Amazon at £249. Ana Abiyedh Rouge is there, too, at £15.
No contest.

amorinaaa

Initial wear and smell in air and on cap: smells sweet, ambery, and super salty? is this just me orrr… never smelled BR540 original parfum, but if it smells similar that’s cool!

B frag

I do not want to review this, I just want you to layer this with Qaeed al Fursan, you are welcome, honey !!!!!!!!!!

jaygo813

Clone? Who cares?!

Just got this delivered yesterday. It was bottled 2 months ago. Note: The dip tube was not red. I got it from a place online that was $26.00, including the shipping. The place is 100% legit. I will not buy my middle eastern anywhere else. Not sure if I can name the place on here or not, so I won't, but I wouldn't Traders that place for Triple anything. So to speak. Initial spray is alcohol, which is, to me, not very Lattafa-like. But whatever, that doesn't bother me. That goes away fast; like 2 mins later, it was gone. Pear, Kumquat, and bandaids — bandaid stays for a while, but it's not horrible. Keep an open mind. It's a $20.00 frag. Super light and airy — not something I'd typically wear, but this sucker is good. Burnt sugary? Never burnt sugar so I don't know about that; maybe that's the band-aid smell. Cotton candy? Sure. Is it Baccarat Rouge 540 or Extrait? No clue. Is it masculine? Sure, why not? — all that is just opinion, anyway. Depends on your definition. I tell you this: Sprayed on my skin, which rejects most scents lasting just 6 hours at best. It lasted from 3 pm to 10 am and still going. Trust me, I don't believe it either. This scent is linear but also complex as hell if that makes sense. I get a sweet fresh pear, kumquat/ burny/weird-bandaid smell for about 4 hours, and it's not bad really. Then I get all of that but no bandaid and a faint weird burning smell, thingy, with some woodiness and musk. It's fantastic really. Not heavy musk. Not heavy woods. It's blended pretty darn well. Now, I also got to the point where I did not smell it. I left the house, came back inside, and got slapped in the mouth by it. So just because you or maybe even people in your house can't smell it on you, doesnt mean it's not there. IT'S THERE. Believe That! The wife hasn't commented on it, whether she liked it or not, because she has the flu, but I'll wear it in public today to see if anyone really gives a crap about it. The bottom line is: GET IT! For the price, it's worth the risk. Blind buy? I've paid a lot more money for really — really bad blind buys. Can men wear this? YOU DAMN RIGHT, Pimpin.

UPDATE: Fellas, this will get ya, well, you know..... :)

I think the value of this fragrance is that it serves as olfactive proof that paying more does not necessarily mean you get more (in terms of quality). I have zero desire to pay the price that BR540 commands. BR540 comes from the talented nose of Francis Kurkdjian- who has an incredible line up of previous projects. I have the greatest respect for the learning and R&D it took to get to BR540.

However, when a scent becomes so popular that it becomes easily identified and common in the "wild," I become less inclined to purchase at full value price.

My perfume journey is to smell and own a wide variety of interesting, unique fragrances. Lataffa provides a perfectly reasonable solution to satiate the hunger or urge to have BR540 in your collection. The sniff test definitely shows its hand regarding the bergamot, oakmoss, and musk. The initial sniff is as though Burberry released a sweeter version of Burberry Women. As it settles on the skin it deserves at least a nod of recognition at the blend between pear, caramel, and kumquat. Its sweet, its sensual, and the scent is not here to stay. A perfect "one night stand" fragrance (and I'm not talkin about furniture).

If you like cozy fireside scents with a a very sweet overture- this is a modest attempt at an affordable price.

Arber Cami

If you ask me the note breakdown is incorrect. This is a super-super sweet clone of BR540. From the first spray you get that typical warm cotton candy smell (from the saffron, Amberwood & jasmine) of BR540. This is a really decent clone if you like BR540 with a really cheap price. Sillage is strong and longevity +8 hours. More for women in my opinion.

Gin Palace

I really like this. I’ve tried a decant of BR540 Extrait and when I tried that I wasn’t sure if I liked it or not? The first time I smelled the real thing, I did get that dentist room smell (not that I dislike that) other times it would be really fruity. I also wasn’t sure if the silage was a bit overpowering and I was a bit conscious. So I used that up, but cannot justify the price for the real thing if I don’t know if I really like it or not.. have to be in the mood for it.
Recently I’ve been craving it though, maybe because of the colder weather and I think it suits Christmas time. So I ordered this because I already own Ana Abiyadh ‘Poudree’ which is really nice, blind bought that because I love powdery scents. A YouTube said this rouge version was the best dupe of BR540. So I bought it, for £15-17 you can’t go wrong. I’m pleased, it’s very similar and on me, it’s lasted a few hours already, just right for when I’m craving that BRouge vibe but not the price!!

wnwdoo

I actually love this perfume. I've never smelled BR540 and I wanted to see what the hype was about. People said this was one of the closest dupes they found so I bought it. I own a few different BR540 "dupes" now, including Dossier's Ambery Saffron. Between this and Ambery Saffron, I think I prefer this. Ambery Saffron is good but I feel like it's very weak. It has no longevity or projection, and the scent is kind of flat. And although this one doesn't share many notes with BR540 or Ambery Saffron, it surprisingly smells very similar.

When I first spray it, I get a very strong alcohol smell. The alcohol smell dissipates pretty quickly. After that it kind of smells like bubblegum for the first few minutes, which isn't bad. But the dry down is amazing. I'm not even sure how to describe it. It's sweet and sophisticated, unisex but slightly feminine leaning, and just a pleasant, universal scent. I cannot stop smelling myself when I wear this. It makes me so happy every time I smell it. For the price, I would definitely give it a shot.

Lunara

Verry frutty and sweet. Strong caramel and fruits. Definetley same DNA as BR540 extrait. But there is no depth in it. For me the original can’t be changed in to anything, but this is a good sweet perfume. The type of sweetnes I like. Longivity is not great, for me it’s 2 hours. But at this price perfume is totaly okay.

AleAle

This is definitely evening/night perfume. While many find this feminine, I personally get a more androgynous vibe from it which I assume is the musk coming through. It also smells a bit powdery even if the notes here don't mention this. While I like it by itself, the sweetness can get bit flat so I'll try layering this with something that has more spicy notes. Don't put this too close to upper torso, you might become nose blind to it. Beautiful bottle.

Momiken

Ana Abiyedh Rouge is one of my worst blind buys. I got it suggested by a review on here. It does remind me of BR 540 when I spray it (more so than e.g. The Cloud by Ariana Grande, which is lovely in it’s own regard, and has significant similarities to BR 540, but definitely does not smell nearly the same). But I feel like Ana Abiyedh Rouge almost doesn’t carry any smell at all on the skin, and it wears off to this soapy scent, that I don’t really like. It’s quite cheap, but still not worth the price, I feel like I wasted my money. If you want a BR 540 dupe blind buy in the same price range, get Pure Royal 910 by Federico Mahora. The difference between PR 910 and BR 540 is almost unrecognisable, and it wears really well and is relatively long lasting (I heard mixed reviews, but I personally can smell it on my clothes for a really long time after applying it! - E.g. If I spray it on my scarf, and I don’t wear it for a while, and then I smell it a few weeks after, it still smells lovely). I may update this review as today is the first day I am wearing this, but for now it’s a big no-no from me!

Phoenixpink80

I'm a bit obsessed by this! The bottle is gorgeous, considering how little this costs. It does smell very much like BR540 and I love the Caramelly sweetness. My Fiancé doesn't have a great sense of smell, but when I first wore this he said I smelled like Golden Syrup Porridge 😋😂

gabe262929

I just picked this up, at first sniff, it smells like citruses, and fruits with rubbing alcohol, but once it starts to dry down its pretty amazing, very close to BR540. Almost identical, except this has almost like a caramel-strawberry praline smell on me, instead of cotton candy, wich is not bad, its smells very sexy, almost edible. In the base its just BR540 , but weaker. If you familiar with the BR540 blind buy is a must!!

Jumana.shattel

I like it , this almost identical to Zara red temptation but more floral when it sets, if you are a fan of masculine perfume you definitely going to like it .
And btw it causes headache 😅

Petrachkoff

A little rough for the first 5 minutes, but once it settles down a bit it's extremely pleasant. Cotton candy, saffron, musk. A bit fruity.

Does not seem to be the best performer, although I know it's very easy to go nose blind to the BR540 DNA. Sillage is ok, but projection seems weak.
Longevity is around 4 to 5 hours, but after about 2 hours all I really get is iso e super. Like A LOT of iso e super. Plus side I love iso e super.

This is a thumbs up from me, for 26 dollars buy it and layer it with Lattafa's Oud for Glory, the combo is pretty fantastic.

Phoenixfyre82

I have a few of the BR40 clones, this one is definately of the same DNA. For me, it sits more in the daytime range of the clones, some of the others sit more "night".

My hubby loves this version, he says the pear note is most distinct in this compared to Lattafa's Baroque 540 and Fragrance World's Barakat version. It does have that "dentist office" medicinal sweetness vibe in the beginning which sets my teeth on edge for a bit, but that goes away in about half hour for me. Doesn't seem to bother my hubby though.

I live in hot tropical humid climate, this gives me about 6 hours of wear, although it could possibly be longer because I do get noseblind to it after awhile. I don't spray very much on my clothes, 3 on the front, 2 on the back since I think the sweetness may be too cloying for some and I take public transport to work. I spray liberally though when at home since husband likes it so much.

anam182

At first I was unimpressed, but as I used it more and more I started getting addicted to it. I don't know about Baccarat, but Ana Abiyedh Rouge smells divine, feminine yet not suffocating, luxurious, delicious.

Hamdii

This is a fruity cotton candy smell.
The performance and sillage are amazing. It lasts very long and projects really good.

The only negative thing about this is how alcoholic it is for the few minutes.

imperfect-angel

The opening is very similar to BR540 but after the dry down it turn into a totally different direction. While BR540 have some would say medicinal note. Ana abiyedh rouge has a dentist office smell, you know the smell you get when the dentist putting tools and antiseptic in your mouth. This part freak me out completely. And if you are brave enough to tolerate the middle part, you will be reward with a pretty similar base note as BR 540 but a bit sweeter.

Ps. I try it on my bf and on his skin I smell nothing, it’s like water. This is the first time I see a perfume done that. Weird, huh?!

BootneyLee

Mmm k. Bought this as another BR540 clone in a great triple pack deal. I own Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge, which is also another clone. But neither are up to par. I will say that this blended with Oud for Glory, are a winning combo. Out of this world actually... for $20 I have ZERO complaInts.

Ovoronkova

Such a beautiful fragrance! I’m glad I found it. Lattafa is great. Good quality for so little money

jarno1208

I like it. Very fruity. Unisex. Uplifting scent. Great for cooler weather.

AmateurFromRiyadh

I bought this and was excited to get a clone of BR 540, which I have tested In a store and loved it. However, I was very disappointed with Ana Al Abiyedh Rouge. I agree it might have the same notes, but the result is very harsh, not smooth, and overwhelming (too sweet), especially for a man.

If you like a fruity fragrance, then this is for you.

Scent: 5/10
Longevity: 12+ hours
Projection: Strong

La Nuit Noir

A really solid clone of BR540!

Has a harsh artificial opening (BR540 smells artificial too, but is much more pleasant) but the dry down gets very close. Doesn't have the slightly powdery amber quality that BR540 manages to achieve in the dry down, but other than that it's a super close scent so for the price it's worth it if you love BR540.

elledeelee

I've never been quite sure that I like BR540, but I certainly do like this. I can't really pin point the differences between them, I only know that this is where my preference lies, and is my personal choice out of all the BR540 dupes that I've tried. You get all the caramelised sugar, medicinal aspects, fermenting fruits, and other worldliness you know and expect. Definitely worth a purchase if you are fan of the original on a budget.

I do tend to become anosmic to it after a few hours though, especially indoors, but outdoors it's somehow more present. I agree with others who've said that it seems to disappear if you spray above elbow height; but days later I can still smell it on my clothes even if I don't notice it when I'm actually wearing it.

Rob1618

Wow. BR 540 it is not, but it’s close. I think if this was a designer fragrance it wouldn’t be getting the hype. But the fact that you can get a halfway decent clone of BR540 for so little is amazing. And it’s close enough to the original that the only people who will notice the difference in a crowd, are other frag-heads. And even then they’d probably have to get in a little too close to your personal space. The cotton candy feel isn’t as cloying and harsh as Mancera’s Instant Crush. The opening too isn’t as bad as I thought it would be and with the same comparison it doesn’t burn the back of my nose like IC. The rubbing alcohol is there at the start but goes away rather quickly.
Previous reviewer advised not to spray too close or you’ll go anosmic. Very good point, you don’t want to overspray this, you’ll choke people out.
Will update with official ratings after a few more wears.

Edit: after a few wears I'm finding that the longevity is inconsistent for me. At times I can smell it for only two hours, other times I'll be going about my business and catch a very strong whiff of this after having forgotten I'd applied it six hours earlier. In the dry down from two minutes after application to about an hour in is when it's the closest to a BR 540 clone. After that it's the sweet sticky cotton candy/candy floss without the freshness. Still worth a wear for $15.

LaBagueette

I won't compare it to BR540 because I've never smelled it.
Harsh opening as if you had macerated fruits in alcohol.
After a few minutes, it smells like oriental/exotic fruits (Kumquat does that) and the scent becomes pleasant.
Unisex but on a feminine side and it lasts 6-8 hours at least with only 2 sprays below the shoulders (projection is poor so if you don't mind, you'll need to respray after 2 hours)
Don't spray it on the neck or below the ears : you can be anosmic to the scent in 10 minutes and having the feeling that the fragrance is gone but in fact it isn't.
It's a YES !

Chinello23

This is a weaker, more screechy and semi synthetic baccarat rouge. Once it dries down though it's lovely, and for that price the similarity is incredible. I like this a lot.

jlitingtun

I wish I'd gotten the fragrance everyone else is talking about, with the smoky musky spun sugar and fruit vibes. Instead I got something that smells sharply of alcohol at first spray and then promptly transmutes into NOTHING. I sprayed this on skin, on fabric, on my husband. Nothing! I wanted this for an affordable BR540-style fragrance and instead I got a bottle of liquid disappointment. I guess I'll wait and see if resting it helps. Very frustrating experience though.

Edit: 10 days later, after allowing the bottle to rest, it does have a scent! Cotton candy and red berries, very sweet and a little juicy. I do get a bit of that dentist office smell others mention but I don't mind it. (Incidentally I wore this to a recent dentist appointment and a hygenist who was starting her shift stepped into the lobby where I was waiting and asked, "Why does it smell so good in here?") Sillage is okay and longevity is poor, like 2 hours tops, but my skin also drinks fragrances like crazy. At the price I'm happy to overspray and reapply as needed.

basgam

I have both, Ana Abiyedh Rouge & Baccarat Rouge 540. And they smell EXACTLY the same. The only difference is in projection and longevity; BR540 is a killer while AAR disappears by the end of the day.

Controlledbyscent31

I wanted a cheapy br540 dna fragrance that I didn't mind overspraying this is it, I think it's quite intimate tho and doesn't project alot.
But I don't mind over spraying, it will do untill I get the real deal maybe Christmas time.

gandrasta

Not that I don't like it, but this particular scent was everywhere. You can find it easily on perfumes, lotions, skin cares, shower gels, car and room's fragrances, potpourri, even a cat litter freshener! It's mass pleasing, I know. But c'mon, do you actually want to smell like whatever products around you?

Udacha

What a gem of scent! The closest BR540 dupe I tried ( I have a few) but better..yea better - slightly softer and creamier with an incredible projection and longevity …Not to mention the bottle ..Gorgeousness!!!

lakishamoore04

Love this perfume!! I've had it for just over a week, and today was the first time that I chose to test it out. So glad that I did! My boyfriend absolutely loved the scent on me and said that it complimented my skin really well. This is now my third Lattafa fragrance, and it certainly won't be the last!

bel.gravia

It's a musky suede cotton candy, slightly citrusy. I've never owned genuine BR540. I had only tested in a shop and it did not impress me. I love all of its dupes though! I love the DNA of the original but it's missing something while Lattafa Opulent Musk is a gorgeous perfume inspired by BR540. I prefer Opulent Musk and Ana Abiyedh Rouge over genuine MFK creation. However I prefer Opulent Musk over Ana Abiyedh Rouge as well. This perfume has some aromatic citrus accords which I don't like. While Opulent Musk has the BR540 cotton candy medical DNA + musk + Middle Eastern character. Its the best of the best of what I've tried. But then this Rouge is closer in fact to the genuine thing. To summarise:
- if you are looking for BR540 DNA but want something different go for Opulent Musk Lattafa
- if you are looking for a dupe as close to BR540 as possible go for this one.

smellgewd1

Initial spray was awful, super synthetic but spicy. But after 10 mins, it starts giving the dentist baccarat rouge vibes. I like this, full bottle worthy. I think this is close enough to become dupe, but their lattafa rouge 540 is the actual clone. This has the same vibe, and probably sister.

nice sent

Wow, what an amazing and cheap fragrance.
I haven't owned or smelled Baccarat Rouge 540 before, so I don't know if it's clone or inspired by it.
It's a magnificent fruity, sweet candy, smooth, ambery, leathery fragrance, opens up with strong sweet like candy and soft amber and leather at the dry down, I am smelling the cashmere wool note, and I don't smell the vetiver, I love the smell of it.
Everything about this gem is fantastic from the smell to the price.
The performance is incredible, I think It's leaning to be more feminine fragrance.

Eveningrose

This is similar to Cloud by AG but it has a much more dentist/ toothpaste vibe on opening. It’s kind of a strange scent for a perfume in my opinion lol idk how much I will be reaching for it 😭 I did get whiffs of it throughout the day on skin though and the dental smell was toned down a bit🦷

Acrobaticbarracuda

I don't have BCR 540 but my best friend uses it. I did spray it on myself and I loved it but Ana Abiyedh Rouge is absolutely disgusting to me. Smells like hospital or dental office with tiny bit of sweetness and sharp powder, fruity scent. A blind buy I regret very much.

Perfumelover2003

Ana Abiyedh Rouge is one of the best Baccarat rouge 540 dupe, after watching an excellent review on Marco4uperfumes on tube, I pull the trigger, bought it,I am so satisfied .
10 hours lasting,I bought it for 15 $ US.
Amazing.

Perfumelover2003

About Ana Abiyedh Lattafa,I decided to buy it after a great review onyoutube
Marco 4 U Perfumes
And I love it so much, Baccarat rouge edp.is so expensive.
I love this Musky, sugary, molecule type of fragrances, And I bought it 15€ for 60 mil.✌️

nicksolihin

I pick a similar scent to Lattafa’s Oud for glory but this one without the Oud which is more pleasing and sweet

Faellen

Very, very good clone of BR540. Honestly, it's a dead ringer. I won't talk about the notes above - it's sugary, dentist room, plasters (bandaids), synthetic but beautiful.
The longevity is eternal and sillage is strong. The presentation is excellent; I love the bottle.
At this price point you really can't go wrong, I've had BR540 on my wishlist for a while (at the time of writing, I only own decants of it), but honestly I don't think I'll bother splashing the cash now I've found Ana Abiyedh Rouge.

dearfawn

Imagine you find a beauty supply store stocked with off-brand cosmetic products. You find a hairspray professing to smell like BR540. This is it: Ana Abiyedh Rouge. It’s only $15 and you will never be able to obtain the real thing to even smell it (remember, imaginary world). You buy it because you have no other options.

A fruity suede take on BR540. It strongly reminds me of nail polish remover (diluted and perfumed acetone) for the first 30 mins. I hope you don’t get that association, but I do and it ruins it for me. If BR540 went to Ivy League, this distant cousin went to beauty school (disclosure: I went to beauty school for nails >_< ). If the notes look appealing to you, sure try it. But if you want a BR540 clone, this is NOT it; there are numerous and far better options out there.

ScentFairy

I was curious about how close of dupe this was. The first initial spray is VERY close to BR540. But it is gone in a second, so I gave myself 2 sprays on the wrist, one spray each on neck/shoulders. The dry down is NOT pleasant. There is barely any sweetness left and maybe it's the suede but it smells a bit nasty.

Amira khaled

I like it, but i keep getting nose blind to it, i can only smell it for one hour after spraying it, but according to my family/ friends this has enormous sillage and a huge longevity, i could spray two sprays of this on each side at 12 pm and have people telling me they can still clearly smell it from feet away at 11 pm, i love it, i just get really annoyed with the fact that I can’t smell it (i can smell other baccarat rouge dupes but not this one)

AnotherFragBoy

Just tore this out the packaging and immediately applied 2 sprays to my arm... First half hour, nothing. Light medicinal rubbing alcohol. I had to literally dig my nose in to smell anything! What was I smelling? My brain kept telling me - "this is good stuff, its lattafa's clone of BR540"... But that didn't work... So I concluded that it was a waste...
Then! something strange happened. About 35 to 40 minutes in, IDENTICAL BR540 drydown! Its the weirdest thing I have ever experienced. Man! and this stuff projects well too! Lasts all day too... I give this 6/10. This is like an old car that has really really poor acceleration, but great top speed.
I'm low-key happy that the opening didn't sit well with me, because I don't want the same disappointing feeling I got about PDM Pegasus when I smelled Armaf Craze. Niche costs a lot and I hate when someone does a terrific job at copying it for way less, after I have paid the high price... That's just me, IDK if you feel the same.

Tinabill

BCR Frugal clone.
This is the closest to BCR I’ve come across, closer than Opulent Musk (very medicinal & leathery/oudy) or Burberry Her (berry smoothie top notes). AAR has the caramelized sugar top but is a touch more fruity and more fleeting, and it has a similar medicinal base. Performance is less than BCR but is on the higher side of average which is great given the price.
As with all molecular fragrances I spray away from my nose to avoid going nose blind.

Sahraily

To be honest I don’t like bacarat rouge so it makes sense I didn’t like this one either like every other perfume that is like MFK 540. Is a nice scent and I liked smelling this inside the bottle but smelled kinda cheap and sugary/sweet with no depth. But compare to MFK540 I like this one because of the aromatic and suade note but none the less very cheap smelling/basic for me.

H.audrey

I sprayed it on my wrist, it disappeared instantly i had to put my nose directly on my skin to smell it... And nothing... I don't know why people say that lattafa fragrances are a bomb but to me they just have the weakest perfumes out there. There is no sillage no longitivity nothing. ❗If you can buy bacarat rouge do it. But don't expect you are getting a dupe with this. They are not comparable! There is so much praise to those fragrances on tiktok, youtube, that i taught they were worth it. But no, i'm starting to think that there paid reviews. This is garbage cheap. I both most of them to review.. Will not do it again

Izabela2705

I've never tried BR540 but if it's similar to Ana Abiyedh Rouge, I'm glad I didn't buy it. Would have been such a disappointment if I did. To me it smells very sharp and sweet but it's the sharpness that bothers me the most. It evolves, that's right, but it becomes more and more masculine with time. Even my husband said that the whiffs he was getting whilst walking behind me - it was wrong to have it on me. I ended up giving him the bottle. It also smells quite sharp on him but much better than on me. I don't think I would be buying it again. Saying that, tastes do change so you never know, I might come back to it one day and fall in love. For now, it's a no from me, sorry.

Stark95

I am so obsessed with this, get so many compliments on it. Everyone loves it and is not offensive. Real diamond in the rough. Best blind buy I've bought in ages.

Detman101

Just got this bottle in today...aaaaaand I'm on the fence with it.
This smells EXACTLY like a nail polish remover I used back when I was a goth.
Having a hard time separating that association...lol. This smells like a mixture of makeup, nail polish remover and hairspray and leaves me feeling like I'm back in my aunt's hair salon on a saturday afternoon while my mom gets her hair done by my aunt and I'm stuck there reading JET magazine oogling the swimsuit centerfold page and getting high off the hair product fumes.
Sprayed this on my forearm one time and it's made my eye twitch when I smelled it.

10 minutes later...
It's calming down a bit now...I can smell pear and some other fruit clearly. It's not too bad after it dries down. Still...now it's reminding me of some "My little pony" perfume my friends 8 year old little sister wore back in 1995. Pure sugary chemical juvenile chaos...lol.
Don't get me wrong...I LOVE stupid-sweet fragrances...hell, my signature frag is "PHANTOM". But the difference is that Phantom has character and depth.
This frag is just chemical-sweet.....and that's it. Nothing...a hint of fruit and a cloud of saccharine sugary nail polish overload. It even gives me that hairspray-huffing-high if I smell it after it's first sprayed. I'm 10 all over again...
lolol....this is hilarious!! >_<

I just don't think I can wear this.
And I definitely don't want my wife wearing it...I don't wanna smell this on a regular basis.
Dangit...welp, this is my first bad Lataffa blind-buy...can't win em all I guess.

Maybe I can layer this with something...something more masculine...windup in unisex land...but what in the world would go well with this saccharine-hairspray-nailpolish frag?
I'm stumped...

NEXT DAY EDIT: Yuuuuup...I'm fully convinced the actual notes of this frag are: "Notes are Nashi Pear, Kumquat and Nail Polish."
Yeah, it's a naw from me dawg...giving this to my mother for mothers day.

EDIT: Yep, I'm a "Cloud" guy...that one smells like "PC Gamer Magazine with a dunkin donuts combo chilling at home during summer vacation" HEAVEN to me...
Just enough computer plastic, whipped cream and vanilla/coconut to make me swoon and take me back to the early 90's... <3 CLOUD <3

Erica.Cass

Absolutely love this! A fresh BR540!

menmen

Im not someone who's smelled baccarat Rouge. I can't say if tt's a dupe or not but I tried the Zara dupe(red temptation) before I tried this and this is a little bit sweeter than the Zara. What I can say is that I'm one of the people that smells the hospital smell, I get the bandaids. I dunno I really like it, I'm surprised that so many people also like it though.

qofb

This is the nicest of the BR540 "dupes" (those with a passing resemblance) that I've tried. Those include Lattafa opulent musk, Banana Republic dark cherry and amber, Burberry her, Ariana Grande cloud, Mancera instant crush. The thing that I like about this is that it isn't sugary sweet, it's medical smelling in a way that isn't screechy and there's not dominant saffron, although I do still smell it whatever the notes say.

t3nlikescookies

The opening in particular is very reminiscent of BR540, albeit with a fruity touch. I personally cannot stand BR on my skin. The pleasant fruity and airy quality which gives it some freshness actually make Ana Abiyedh Rouge wearable for me, 100% unisex. Somehow the scent is a bit fruity but lacks unpleasant sweetness. As the fragrance dries down, the salty ambergris becomes more prominent. Longevity doesn't seem all that great, definitely cannot smell anything after more than a few hours. For the price though, I am not mad. I'm still hesitant to call this a dupe, but it is definitely closer to BR540 than Cloud is.

Bebelusica

Great baccarat dupe and it performs nearly as good as the real thing. 100% worth every penny. Lattafa almost never fails.
